Problems since first day... We purchased all our new appliances for our new home to be delivered Feb. 28, 2014. We are very happy with the fridge, washer, dryer. Not so happy with the over the stove microwave as it does not seem to pull in the steam at all and it goes all over the front of the cupboards and underneath as well. And steam drips down the tiled backsplash. The dishwasher is a whole other story. The young fellow brings it in and installs it. While testing it water flooded out the bottom of it. He tried several things but could not figure it out. He called his office and told them the problem and they said they would send out another dishwasher the next day. He then leaves. I go downstairs to get something from the freezer and there is water all over the floor at the bottom of the stairs. I call the store and he comes back. I asked him why he would leave when he knew there was a problem. He had forgot to connect something so he fixed it and returned the next day with another dishwasher. This is number 2... So he does all the connections and lo and behold, water comes spewing out the bottom again! He did try to conquer the problem but to no avail. He called and told the girl at the office about it and they said they would send out another one. This is all in the first week of us supposedly trying to enjoy moving into our new home. So a few days go by and along comes dishwasher number three with two fellows to install it. One does all the work while the other one just lolls around on my new engineered hardwood floor. I wanted to scream!! I was afraid by the time this was figured out I would have a whole lot of marks on the floor. They were here for over two hours and yet again it leaked. Really?? I called the appliance store and complained non-stop like a lunatic because of frustration and to get right down to it, anger. They suggested that I try to pick out a different line of dishwasher. I said I wanted the one that matched all the other appliances. Would they be willing to trade them all out? Well, of course not. So yet again along comes dishwasher number 4 with yet another installer. He installed it and did a quick test and yay! It didnt leak. The next day, water on the floor. In the meantime, I am back at work and have to arrange these visits with repairmen for before I start work at 4 in the afternoon. So, I call the appliance store and rant again. They make an appointment for me with one of the salespeople at a different location. We purchased from a large retailer on 149 Street, Edmonton. They sent us to the 47 Avenue one which is a fair distance from where we live. We went in and it seemed like the salesperson felt we were being unreasonable. I asked him if this kind of product and service would make him happy and would he like it if his time was taken up with this. Long and short, he tried to get us to change to another line and we said no. So he said he would give us $200 off. Big deal. But it was better than nothing. They said they had never had this kind of problem before, so we said lucky us, being the one off. So again back to a number of visits from a serviceman. We were told that maybe our water temperature was too high and this was causing a problem. The temperature of our water was lower than what it gets to on the sanitize cycle by 35 degrees so that seems to be a load of you know what. Then he said it was this part at the front of the dishwasher so he replaced that. Still leaking. I give up and just keep putting a dishtowel under it to catch the leaks and save the hardwood floor. Three years go by (not quite) and now besides the leak it stops draining on occasion and the OE light comes on. I call another repair place that services Samsung products. The guy comes out and says that he needs to replace a part so we do that. He sets up a test and promptly leaves. It hits the rinse cycle and water comes spewing out the bottom again but it did drain. Call them back and have to wait a couple of weeks and he comes out and did something to it and said if there were any problems to call them after Christmas because they would now be closed until after the New Year. Yay!! The third visit he comes out to repair it and now the stupid thing will not do anything. It will not fill even at the beginning to start the leaking process or the OE light to come on, just sits there. I do feel for him as he seems to be a very nice man but now he is waiting to hear back from the Samsung technical help desk to get back to him with some things to try. He tried to replace the circuit panel, but the new one did the same thing as the old. He got out some manual and tried to do some troubleshooting and nothing happened. He checked the pump but that was ok. He checked the overflow sensors and they were fine. Before he came out for the third time I ran it through five cycles. On the normal cycle it did what it was supposed to do and no leaking. Same with the Heavy cycle and Delicate. Did the Quick cycle and it leaked but it did empty. On the Pots and Pans the OE light came on and it did not drain and it leaked. After he tried all he could think to try on the last (third) visit it wont do anything but the lights do come on, just no action. I thought I could just go back to putting the towel on the floor and maybe have to try draining it manually or with some luck maybe it would work when I held down the drain button (sometimes it did and sometimes, no). So here we are with the mother of all dishwashers that looks nice but is totally useless. And I get the distinct pleasure of washing dishes. I dont mind doing that when I feel like it but not all the time because I have to. We will wait now to see if Samsung tech came up with anything for our poor repairman. If not we will ask for our money back on the repair that was useless and go buy a dishwasher from a reputable appliance store from reputable salesperson after doing a lot of research to find out what one would be the most... reputable and reliable. Because we know now for sure that it is not Samsung and we did not care for the service from the place we purchased from originally.

Since purchasing this fridge RF197ACRS from Sears Canada we have had problems. The ice maker needed to be replaced in the first three months. We have had repeated visits by the service technician because of water in the crisper drawers and ice build up under the crispers. We have followed directions in the manual and those of the technician to fix these issues without success. Samsung will not replace this appliance. It is now 3 years old.

Bought a Samsung refrigerator and within 2 years the ice maker quit making ice. Called Samsung and said warranty was no longer valid on the ice maker. I called them back and argued about their ice makers not being very good and that there was a lot of problems with them. They said they would make an exception to fix it this time. Got it fixed and 4 months later it went out again and stopped making ice. They said they would no longer service, even knowing that they have had lots of trouble with their ice makers. I definitely wont buy another Samsung. I wouldnt have even given them 1 star.

Bought our Samsung RF23J9011SR/AA refrigerator approximately one year ago. Ice maker malfunctioned. Samsung seemed familiar with the problem. The repairman mentioned a design flaw with regard to the small fan. They did quickly repair the problem for hundreds of dollars. It seems to me if they knew of the design flaw they should make the adjustments at their cost.

Since August were been waiting for Samsung refrigerator. Now is October and it’s been 4th time they delivered damaged refrigerator. We went through Hell and no one could help... All they can say is sorry and here is the number to call. You call the number they give and it’s all over again, call this number or that number and NOTHING was solved. Looks like this company only cares how to put thousands and thousands $$$$$ in their pockets only. They don’t care about customers and how to treat them right! Something needs to be done with this company ** people. Please guys do not waste your time, nerves and your money! Samsung will go out of business at one point if they continue screwing their customers.

Purchased my dream refrigerator/bottom freezer on 6/22/2018 for $1499.00 or so I thought. 2 months later freezer stopped working. Called Samsung every 7-10 days for over 2 months because they never called me back like they promised. As I waited the ice maker quit, then the refrigerator. I kept getting the runaround. I was so disappointed and one day when I called I cried, was told to email the office of the President at Samsung. I did - nothing - finally a representative from the office of the President named Linda called me back, gave me her personal phone extension #. Told me my order was approved & I had to wait another 10 days for a moving company to call me. When I checked my caller ID I realized she was calling from the same call center I had called from every week. They lie to their customers. 2 weeks later I finally got the call. On October 16th I received replacement. My first call was beginning of August! I will never ever buy another Samsung appliance. I hope this one holds up. I will be sick if I have to go through this process again.

I have had the Samsung SMH9187ST microwave for just over 3 years now. Yesterday I got the SE error code. Tried unplugging and recycling which did not work to clear the code. This sounds like it is a very common problem with these microwaves due to moisture. An over the stove microwave should be designed to handle being over the stove. What a load of crap. I will try fixing this myself and then calling Samsung to try to get them to repair this at no expense to me. I have a Samsung fridge as well and have had no issues with it.

This range is the best purchase Ive done in a while. The range itself is beautiful, all the amenities, the panel has it all. I especially love the way the grills keep heat around the area and doesnt stay warm long after you turn off the gas. The oven itself keeps the food at the right temperature you set it at. The other option of self cleaning works great. Im in love with this range. I would recommend this range to anyone purchasing a new one.

They have a known defect in their refrigerators and Ice makers and refuse to recall them. They’ve cost people time, money, home repairs, food poisoning, etc. When you call they act like they’ve never heard of it even though repair companies have received service bulletins from Samsung. That means they know there is a big big problem but won’t change the product to prevent it.

Not sure which model I have as the user manual is for all three, but after reading the reviews I guess it doesnt matter much. We bought the dishwasher, along with a suite of Samsung appliances, refrigerator (one service call that took over a month and three visits to fix), microwave, stove and the wall of water dishwasher slightly more than a year ago. Well I know why they call it a wall of water, as that is what you will find on your floor! Weve had two service calls at a cost of $160 on the dishwasher and now, based on the horrendous number of reviews and stories have decided that putting more money in it is foolish. The Samsung dishwasher is the most expensive dishwasher weve ever owned and proves that old saying you get what you pay for is dead wrong.

I purchased a New Samsung RS261 refrigerator and just out of warranty, the ice maker broke. I am pretty good at repairs and research so after two days with online Samsung support, they recommended to call for service. I could not find anything online to help myself take care of the problem, so I called a local company that I have used in the past. I could not use this company because you have to be a special Samsung repair service, which Samsung only gave me two companies to choose from. They sent out the email service request, which after days, I had no response so I called. I called on a Thursday to that company and received a message that they were closed for the next 5 days for Labor Day. I have never heard of a company that is service-orientated close that many days. I then called the second company, which came out the following Thursday. I had given the information for what was wrong and they brought out the wrong part and needed to order the new one. Two weeks later, they came out and fixed the problem with a total work time of 20 minutes combined for both stops and $230.00 later, which was a good portion for what I paid for the fridge. After I called Samsung and complained about the first company, they referred me to the second. I still received a call three weeks after the incident that a tech from the first company was at my door to look at the refrigerator. What? Needless to say, I will not purchase another Samsung knowing that I dont have a choice to go with a service center of my choosing. My opinion: choose a product that can be serviced by any appliance center of your choosing.

Called corporate office and they said you had to have 3 unrelated defects before they would consider replacing with new refrigerator. We bought a model NE58H9950WS chefs collection slide in range in early 2015. It belongs in a museum, not a kitchen because it looks beautiful but is useless. Preheat the oven to 425*, put a tray of cold food in and an hour later food is still uncooked and temperature is down to 300*. Tried to cook a frozen lasagna that was supposed to take 1 hour at 350 and after 2.5 hours was still cold in the middle. If you cook something like cookies or a pizza it is OK because they have so little mass they dont soak up the heat but anything that weighs more than a couple of pounds simply overwhelms the ovens ability to reheat.Samsung made 2 service calls under warranty and the replaced everything but the problem persists to this day. I noticed they have discontinued this model and taken down all of the negative reviews but the issue of their ovens not holding temperature is not limited just to this model. There are countless other reviews mentioning the exact same issue. Samsung even tries to disclaim the warranty of merchantability in their paperwork, which is a joke since it basically says they can make an oven that doesnt work and theres nothing you can do about it.I would urge anyone to avoid SAMSUNG products. There is a reason they are rated 23rd out of 23 brands on this site for ranges and stoves. It is because their products are junk. I have filed suit in small claims court (fortunately my state has limits on the warranty disclaimers which invalidate it) and will be getting my money back one way or another. Then I will buy another brand of range. This one costs $2500 and doesnt cook food!

We bought this double range in 2014. On Jan of 2017 we were moving the range to have a new floor put in. When the floor was done we moved the range back to where it was and plugged it in. When we did this it blew the breaker. We then shut off the electric and checked the range. We could smell smoke from the back of the range. We took the back of the power cover off and found the black plastic clamp that holds the wire to the power cord let go and the wires hit the cover and shorted out the range. I was told that there was nothing that could be done. I feel this is a serious safety issue and it could cause serious problems or fire. Will not buy another.

I completely re-did a kitchen in our little weekend house and outfitted it with a Samsung SMH9187ST microwave. Since it is a weekend house, the microwave doesnt actually get much use. The microwave was new in 2010 and is now a little less than 2 years old. I got the dreaded SE error code back in the early spring of 2011. It worked for a few weeks during the summer, but Ive had to keep it unplugged (due to the error beeping) since September. Dual cooler, French door model. RF28HFEDBSR. This model, and other Samsung models, will not adequately defrost automatically. Whoever designed the rack adjuster did not do a very good job it. The plastic tabs that hold it in place keep breaking off. If were using it to move the rack up and down I could understand that over time it might break but we never use it to move the rack up or down. The rack has been in the same position from the time the dishwasher was installed over a year ago and about every six months I have to replace the adjusters because the tab breaks off and lets the rack drop. After defrosting and installing a new fan, it worked for a couple of months when it started leaking into the crisper drawers telling me the drain was already frozen!!! I made a heater out of a copper wire and thought I had it fixed. But three months later, same old crap!!! Samsung knows of this problem but is not recalling the problem, even though they make a kit to fix it with!!! I suggest everyone that has or had this problem call the commerce commission and report their experience. In the meantime, you can buy the kit online such as eBay for around $125.00... To Tim Baxter or anyone else that cares about Samsungs reputation and how their terrible customer service and falsely advertised products, dont settle well with the consumer. I am at my wits end with your company and its appalling customer service! For 4 months now Ive tried to get your company to take ownership for a refrigerator it sold us, that claimed to offer a Flex Zone with 4 temp settings, all the way down to -1 Celsius. Tim, we both went to High-school at took basic science classes, but the techs and people in your Office of the President all seem to have either not taken the class or failed it. My wife and I have had food spoiling in that drawer for months, because it will NOT freeze as it should given that 0 degrees Celsius is freezing, therefore anything colder that zero is at least capable of freezing. Well nothing freezes in that drawer. Ive had 3 service people come out, who all are being told the same thing from Samsung that I am being told, which is that the refrigerator works as it should. Tim, please explain to me how its working as it should when food does not freeze in a drawer that offers a -1 degree Celsius setting. Your office of the president, at 888-480-5675 and Loshanda at extension **, has ignored 7 messages I have left for her with the receptionist, and two voicemails. She literally has decided to blow me off. The last time she called me, before Thanksgiving, she told me that Mr. ** its not supposed to freeze, since -1 degrees Celsius is also 29 degrees Fahrenheit, therefore its 29 degrees above freezing... I was without a reply for a few minutes. How do you politely tell a person that they dont know that Celsius and Fahrenheit both measure temperatures, and that -1 Celsius and 29 Fahrenheit are the same below freezing temperature. After Loshandas obvious failure to care to call me back anymore, because she believes its working fine, I called and asked for a supervisor in your Office of the President. Ive been told twice there is no such thing, that I just have to leave a message for Loshanda to call me back. I’ve done that once a week for 7 weeks. I’m exhausted and utterly disgusted with the horrible service from your company. I dont know which is worse, that your techs believe -1 degrees Celsius is not supposed to freeze the food, or that your Office of the Preside could care less at this point, after my wife and I have lost hundreds of dollars in food that has gone bad, Ive wasted hours with techs coming out telling me the same thing, and more hours on the phone talking to your general Samsung support line that offers no help but to suggest I have yet another tech come out, who will waste all our time again. Tim, my wife and I own thousands of dollars in merchandise from you all, from phones, to BluRay players, to TVs etc. Is this how I should be treated? I want Loshanda at least reprimanded or at best fired, and I want and deeply hope for your help in resolving this matter. Your refrigerator does not do as it was sold to do, its that simple. And I need this fixed. Please Tim. Ive left voicemails for others in your Office of the President, they too have ignored me.

Bought the refrigerator (Samsung Model RS2556SH) on 10/15/2004 and, except for the ice maker and the fact that its a bit noisy, it has worked well ever since it was installed. While the ice maker does make ice, there is usually a mixture of crushed and cubed ice and the selection setting doesnt make much difference. Im writing the review because, after reading the reviews posted on this site, I felt I should offer a positive review and let readers know there is at least one person whos had a fairly good experience with a Samsung refrigerator.

Bought the French door with freezer at the bottom. Ill keep this short and to the point. Replaced the top ice maker 6 times and replaced lower ice maker 2 times. Top ice maker stopped working 2 times within a couple of weeks of being replaced. Thank God for buying extended warranty. Called Samsung twice directly and they brushed me off and seemed not to care about issues they have with their ice makers. Referred me back to warranty company. Not sure what we will do when warranty expires. Do not buy this refrigerator. You will be disappointed and if you do make the poor decision to buy Samsung refrigerator buy extended warranty.

Bought the Samsung DMT800RHS dishwasher from Lowes and installed it. After about 6 months of use, I noticed the top rack was sagging and not very sturdy. I noticed the adjustment clips were broken off the rack and I found 3 of them in the bottom of the dishwasher. I thought it was strange because we had never used the adjusters to raise or lower the rack. I called Samsung and described the problem so they looked up the date of purchase and said they would send out new adjusters to replace them. I got the parts and installed them. After about 4 months I noticed that 2 had broken off again - I knew it was a design flaw. I checked another model at Lowes and noticed they had a different design on that dishwasher for the upper rack. One morning after running the dishwasher the night before, I opened the door and began removing dishes - they were still dirty and there was liquid soap running down the door inside that had not dissolved. I reloaded the dirty dishes and turned it on. It filled with water, but the motor did not run and there was no washing. After checking out the control board (okay) and talking with Samsung, I tackled the problem myself. I removed the wash arm, unscrewed the filter module, removed the housing and found one of the broken clips wedged in the pump motor. After removing the piece and reassembling the module, it filled up with water and started washing. Samsung needs to provide a retrofit for the rack adjusters and send to all of their customers. I am considering making a clamp to wrap around the adjuster and the rack to keep it from falling below. Put my name on the list of dissatisfied consumers and contact me for a retrofit when available.

I bought a stainless steel fridge and freezer and fridge doesnt cool. Paid for an outside firm Samsung sent to do diagnosis. They then cant fix it. Come to find out Florida has nobody that can fix it. Samsung wont do anything since we have moved and lost receipt in move. They have everything on file but need receipt first they say. I contact the store where purchased as Samsung asked and they dont have on file either. Because of this Samsung wont do anything. Funny how they have all my information and model and serial numbers on file but they still wont do anything. I just want it to be fixed but they wont do anything. Dont ever buy FROM SAMSUNG!!! They took my $2500 for the fridge but wont do anything to fix or replace appliance. Its only a couple years old. Buyer beware.

Don’t be lured by the exterior look like I was. The engineered is designed for failure! After replacing icemaker 2 times, the seal system failed that cooled the refrigerator. $500 worth of food gone! 48 hours x 4 different service techs set up by them who were not CCF Licensed to work on the seal system. My Yeti Cooler works better than this Samsung product. Thankfully my cooler is working in the kitchen, now Samsung wants me to prove my purchase after buying in 2014 from Home Depot. What a waste of nearly $900. Samsung has absolutely no customer service when theres a problem(s). Was no help on phone, had an online chat (India, of course) who was flipping through his instructions for code PE and I was told it was a half-load error, whatever and whoever does a half load? I can ditto everything in here, one code after another. Repairman (local) here 2x, replaced main board that didnt work. Did the cleanout cycle a few weeks back and was running well but now code 9E. Looked it upon net, tried the soap thing, NG. Tried banging on left side and running this time, but for how long? If I have to pull it out like another suggestion it WILL NOT GO BACK IN. BTW, the Samsung authorized dealer is 3 hours away! They sent one about 6 months after I got it for rust appearing on the outside of the door and he said rust was not under warranty. This is a stainless steel, inside and out, and theres rust? I agree, NO MORE SAMSUNG! I hope the microwave holds out longer.

The repair person they recommend wants $180 to look at the refrigerator plus parts which could be anywhere from $20 to $250 depending on the problem. Samsungs Indian Service Dept. just says were so sorry, please upload photos and we will contact you. 4 weeks in, no response despite many phone calls. Do not waste your time calling Samsung service. I purchased the Samsung 24.5 cu. ft. Side by Side (RS25H5111SR). Retail is average of around $1600-$1800. I had to return it to the store after 30 days. Although it was functional as far as space, it not only hissed and popped at intervals, it also had a very loud and annoying gurgling sound that was very audible. It was making sounds about 90% of the time so this one had to go! Cant imagine why Samsung would even allow their name on this type of product. At least the store was cordial about returning the refrigerator and allowing a new purchase (with a different brand).

It has been 3 weeks since the gas company shut off my gas & determined the range was leaking 10 times the allowable limit of carbon monoxide. After 3 weeks of deliberations, Samsung is reimbursing me for the purchase price of the range rather than replacing it. The range was purchased during an exceptional sale, therefore I’m unable to replace for the same price. I purchased Samsungs top-of-the-line French-door Refrigerator Model no. RF4287HARS and dishwasher DMT800RHS from Lowes in November 2010. The dishwasher broke down within just a few weeks. It took 3 weeks to get parts, then a week later it broke again. Eleven months after purchase, the LCD panel started acting up on the fridge. Some icons no longer work, and the right side fridge door wont seal very well so items dont stay cold. After several frustrating calls to Lowes for service, I finally got a call from their authorized repair person who told me its not under warranty any more. We argued and I had to call Lowes again where I was assured it is under warranty still. I got another call from the service person telling me Samsung told them its not under warranty. And again, another call to Lowes where I am told its under warranty. The next day, I got a call from Lowes telling me that it was never registered as sold with Samsung so theyre using the manufacturing date for the 1-year warranty date. I had registered the appliances when I bought them but Lowes hadnt bothered to inform Samsung.A day or so later I got another call saying Samsung has now been informed of the sale date and that its under warranty. Now I cant get anybody to work on Samsung. Even their authorized repair centers say they wont work on Samsung appliances anymore because Samsung wont reimburse them for mileage for the numerous trips it takes to repair a Samsung product, extreme difficulty obtaining parts, and Samsung is an extremely slow payer. I talked to Samsung and asked if they would pay for the parts if I paid a service person and they refused. I offered to pay the service centers myself and they refused to even come look at it. I now have a $2,800 piece of junk and it looks like Im going to have to sue Samsung.

There was a brief call with the company who is going to repair it under contract but they are not really interested in doing the repair work any time soon. While baking at 375 degrees and standing in front of the oven I heard a loud pop, and then seen a lot of smoke coming out of the top rear behind the clock and program panel. From the smell, it was obviously an electrical fire. The circuit board and connectors burned up. Luckily I was close by and able to unplug the stove. I bought the Samsung Refrigerator in 5/14 from Best Buy (I will not go to Best Buy for anything). I started having problems with the ice maker not making ice in a few months and continue for over 3 years. My neighbor was nice enough to explain to me that the frig wont make ice if the frig is not level. Call someone out to level it. The installer and the repairmen should know that. It still would quit making ice, but I was able to knock the ice off the ice maker and it would start making ice again. The last 2 weeks, I am not able to get the frig to make ice.Back in April, the frig sounded like it was in the 500 road race. I called a repairman out and said it needed a evaporator cool kit. It 2 months for him to get it. He installed it and 2 weeks the terrible noise again was back. Called the same guy and he said he could install another kit, but it would continue to have problems. He said that Samsung does not allow the repairmen to know much more about the frig. He said that the refrigerator will eventually quit running. I needed to contact Samsung. I did that and he couldn’t find any repairman in my area. What a bunch of crap. The service is terrible. The frig is awful. I did write the CEO and President Tim Baxter and I didnt get an answer. I hate to pay over another $2000.00 to get another frig in less 4 years time.

This fridge worked fine for about 2 years then something went haywire. It took Sears five trips to finally send a repair tech who was competent to properly diagnose the problem. The first tech diagnosed the (wrong) problem and charged me $357. That didnt fix it, so a new tech showed up and made a new diagnosis, and ordered another part. It was the wrong part, so another part had to be ordered. In the meantime, I dont have a working refrigerator so bought a 30-year-old $85 beater that does work. Luckily there was room to set it up in the dining area. Sears sent a third tech who said the initial diagnosis was wrong so ordered a new part -- but this tech then said he wouldnt plug the fridge back in because the outlet wasnt grounded. I called an electrician who charged me $75 to say yes it is grounded (which I was pretty sure was the case). Finally a tech showed up and properly diagnosed the problem, at the cost of $272. The tech said Sears would credit my credit card $85 for the difference between the right and wrong parts. Sears has not billed me for the $272 but they also have not refunded me the $85 for the overcharge. I have called them also asking to be reimbursed for these items: the $85 fridge I was forced to buy due to their technicians continued incompetence, $75 for the unneeded electrician service call, $100 that I felt obliged to offer the tenants living in the house to take off their rent because this entire process took two months to find a competent Sears service tech. I will never again buy an appliance from Sears and sure as heck wont call them to service this fridge the next time it has a problem (and Im keeping the $85 beater in the garage just in case).

4 Door Refrigerator Model RF25HMEDBWW/AA - Soon after receiving our new refrigerator we advised Samsung and they dispatched a service Tech from a highly regarded service provider. Samsung had sent a replacement front and auger, which they installed. The quality of the ice was not improved, and still many cubes were broken. We were away for the winter, and ice maker was turned off. Recently we had three successive issues with dairy products going sour prematurely, and loss of some beautiful steaks. The front panel assured me that temperature was 37. On the evening of June 5, 2016 I used two different digital thermometers and confirmed that problem was the main cooling (Upper) was registering 55 degrees F. I used a Taylor remote oven thermometer plus a fast (but not instant) digital cooking thermometer with 0.1 degree gradient. The following AM, June 6, as I was leaving the house for the day, I asked my wife to call Samsung and report the problem. That evening my wife informed me that the Samsung person asked her to unplug and then re-plug the power cord. The delivery team for our retailer had damaged the legs on the bottom of the unit, making it very difficult to move and access the power outlet. They have been slow in responding, and I will use this document to re-light a fire under them, as I am certain they will not be pleased to read their name here. I called Samsung that evening and advised that a technician was needed. They informed me that it would take several days before I heard from their agents. On the third evening past my call, I again called Samsung and was advised that there was no record of my prior call.On the 16th, the tech arrived and advised that this was a common issue caused by freeze-up of the evaporator coil in the upper refrigerator, and some new parts would also fix the ice problem. I called Samsung in an attempt to get the parts expedited, and when I requested to speak with the Samsung Service Manager I was advised that the person I was speaking with could not arrange a communication with a Samsung higher up and that absolutely nobody at Samsung would have a knife sharp enough to cut through the accumulated Samsung constipation. It is very clear that their telephone answering people have all submitted to a lobotomy before beginning work there and all they are allowed to do is read what appears on their computer screen.Due to the scheduling procedure, I was not able, until approximately 10:15, to learn if and in what time frame to anticipate the techs arrival! The tech WITH THE PARTS arrived just before 1PM on the 23rd of June. He spent several hours replacing parts, and I thought and hoped the problems were over. Ice is no better and temperatures are still warm. So today when I called, I immediately advised the computer that I would only speak with a service executive. After a 33 minute wait I got somebody in their Executive Service department. After a 15 minute conversation with him, I realized that he did not have any idea how a refrigerator worked and he placed me on A SHORT HOLD, to immediately transfer me to somebody in Refrigeration. At 1 hour and three minutes I was connected with somebody in the Dominican Republic that likely could not tell the difference between a digital thermometer and a rectal, EVEN if the digital device was inserted in his rectum. Do not ask about his comprehension of a refrigerator. He got me a reference number for the new service call at 1 hour and 20 minutes and indicated that I would hear from somebody that understood refrigeration in a day or two. THE PRECEDING WAS COMPOSED ON MONDAY EVENING, JUNE 27.Beginning on the second Tuesday of next week, I am going to begin holding my breath until Samsung discovers the concept that I invented: I have called it responsibility and service. Today, June 28, I heard from service company and learned that they will have a tech here on July 14. We are going to look for a phone number for Enterprise Refrigerator Rental, to get a loaner until somebody at Samsung elects to have our not quite one year old refrigerator deliver on its promise, keeping dairy and meat from souring prematurely, and making good ice.My 15 year old Amana did it quite well, seldom ran short and never failed to properly cool! It did not offer crushing or dispensing thru the door, but if Samsung cannot get those features right for 3 or 4 times the cost, maybe their future is in composting. I would love to discover the name and address of a responsible executive at Samsung and arrange for a second year med school student, with an interest in Proctology, to park this POS in an appropriate orifice! Is there a class action suit in process? IF SO, PLEASE SUPPLY DATA SO I CAN JOIN.

Samsung Refrigerator Model RF4287HARS/XAA. As someone else had just posted on this site, I also had the number 1 and the letter E flashing on my refrigerator panel after a power outage when the power came back on. I called the 1-800-Samsung number again and was told, Sorry, your 1 year warranty was up in September. So my 1-1/2 year old refrigerator cost me $421.58 to fix. They had to replace the main board. I hate my DMT800 Samsung dishwasher. It does not heat the water nor clean the dishes well. It is about 3 years old and its torn up. There are only certain repair companies that are allowed by Samsung to repair their appliances and some will not repair the appliance if its under warranty. I purchased a Samsung Refrigerator (RF25HME) back in December 2017, and on October 3, 2019 the ice maker stopped working. Did my research and found out that many consumers are complaining about the same issue. For an undetermined reason, the ice maker fills with frost, which turns into blocks of ice, not allowing the ice to be made, and locks up the auger.Spent part of my weekend defrosting the ice maker. I have not had to defrost a freezer or refrigerator since I was a child (50 years ago). I have had other refrigerators with ice makers (Amana, GE) and never had this issue. Less than 2 years after purchasing our Samsung RF266AEPN refrigerator, the fridge started making VERY loud sounds. Turns out the evaporation coil in the back wall of the fridge had a huge build up of ice due to a poor design. This ice made it impossible for the cooling mechanism to function properly. I thought it was just me, but by the end of May I was already having more issues with the refrigerator. The fan was making a horrible sound. By the time the tech showed up which was over a week later. The fan had stopped working and I had to get rid of all the food. He replaced the sensor and water line. It has now been a week since then and my fan is starting to make the sound again. I called the tech because his phone number was on the receipt he left me. He told me that I had to go back to Samsung and start the process all over. So, that means all my food will spoil again! Do not buy this refrigerator!

No matter what we have done, it sounds like this fridge is an airplane taking off in our kitchen. It is embarrassing. We just changed the filter, again, and ran 3 gallons of water, and it still sounds horrible. I would not buy this again. This fridge is about a year old and has done this since day one. It is a French door, and other than this I love the appliance. It sounds all time of the day and night whenever the ice maker fills or you try to fill a glass of water. Called company, the last thing the rep told me was to move it away from the way. I told her if that was all she could come up with it was pitiful.

I spent over $2500 for a new Samsung counter depth refrigerator in mid 2015
I spent over $2500 for a new Samsung counter depth refrigerator in mid 2015 after I remodel my kitchen. It works fine for about 1 1/2 year. After 1 1/2 year, I started to have problems. A year ago the freezer will not go down to the temperature I set. Even I set it to minor 8 degree F, it only went down 15 degree F. I was advised by some website to reset the refrigerator by turning off the power overnight. I did and it worked again. Six months ago, no ice came out from the ice maker. I open the ice maker and found it completely frozen. I turned the power off and blow some warm air to melt the ice. After I removed the ice, it worked again.A couple weeks ago, the freezer warmed up again. This time, I know resetting the refrigerator can only solve the problem for a few months so I called Samsung service center. A technical came, open the freezer and spent half an hours checking. He told me that defrost sensor went bad and the ice built up blocking the cold air from entering the freezer. Also the cover needed to be replaced. I ask him if the repair will take care of the ice maker frozen problem. He told me that it is a different problem and many people have the same problem due to design issue and Samsung offered to repair it free even warranty expired. I called Samsung but with no luck, Samsung refused to have it fixed. Repairing the ice maker will cost another $400.The technician left and 2 days later, another technician came with the parts. He did some more checking and told me that the cover did not need to be replaced but the control board did not send power to the heater. Unfortunately, the previous technician did not check the control board so he need to order the control board and will come back later. He told me that I should purchase extended warranty. I went to online chat with Samsungs Chat site and was told that I can purchase extend warranty even the refrigerator warranty expired. The gentlemen even told me that the I should get some discount for the current repair if I elected to purchase extended warranty. He gave me the number to call.I called Samsung extended warranty department and found out that extend warranty cost $550 a year and will be effective 30 days after all repairs were done and I needed to show them receipts of all repairs. There will be no discount to current repair either. I was surprised that extended warranty cost $550/year for a refrigerator. The conclusion was the refrigerator will experience problems very often, maybe an average of once a year because average repair cost will be 4 to 5 hundred dollar each time. This policy tells us to expect Samsung refrigerator to be repaired once a year. This morning, I found out that the water dispenser at the refrigerator started leaking. Oh boy, another problem I have to deal with. I did a quick estimate. It will cost me about $1450 to have everything repaired and spend $550 for a one year extended warranty. That is $2000. Should I buy a new one instead. My last refrigerator was a 20 years old GE. It is still in the garage working fine. The other one was a 35 years old Whirlpool. I gave it away when I purchased the Samsung. My GE and Whirlpool gave me a combined 55 years of trouble free service while the Samsung gave me 3 problems in 2 1/2 years.

We purchased a Samsung Refrigerator a year ago. Within that year our ice maker has broken twice. First they sent a repair guy. He fixed it and 6 months later it broke the same way again. We called and Samsung said sorry it’s out of Warranty. It’s a year old and the ice maker is still frozen up and sometimes melts and drips water. It costs a lot out of pocket to get it fixed. On top of that the middle drawer electric cords that operate temp was pinched so that didn’t work. Also I don’t think the fridge runs at the correct temp! We filed a complaint with BBB in the state they are made. We haven’t heard anything back. I will never buy one again! Don’t even want to Win one I would Rather have a Whirlpool or GE!

Our Samsung started making this popping sound three weeks ago. (2-3 pops per hour). I did a web search and found that many others are having the same problem. I called Samsung customer service, and was told the sound was Normal. I guess I am not quite understanding normal when it never made this sound before. I just wish Samsung would take our complaints and concerns more seriously. The sound can be heard throughout the house, its as if someone was sitting behind the fridge popping balloons. We never hooked up our ice maker so its not that. I will say that the fridge works fine in every other way. Thanks.

We purchased this Samsung Stainless Steel Model DW80F800UWS from Best Buy as a package deal along with a fridge, oven and washer/dryer. This dishwasher has been the only problem and has been defective in the first two months after our purchase. We had a drainage error code problem which a local company contracted with Samsung came out and replaced the part. After 6 months, they had to come out again and replace test another part. These both were under warranty. A third time the same sensor had gone out and they said it wasnt under warranty and that we would have to pay $350 to fix. This was almost half the price of the product. We could not afford to fix the problem and after leaving it sit for 6 months and hand washing dishes I decided to test it to see if it would work and it has ran 5 full cycles. My only guess is that the sensor has to dry out. So after every time I wash I leave the door open to air dry the unit and wait almost 24 hours before loading it up and running it. This is a pain and I know that my working unit will soon give me that dreaded error code again and Im back to hand washing dishes. Samsung definitely should have a class action lawsuit against them for knowingly having installed faulty sensors that give out immediately and making owners annoyed but happy at a free immediate repair on them until warranty expires and then we have to spend hundreds on a part that probably cost them a few bucks to make. Id also like to include that his unit has never successfully cleaned dishes. There have always been food residue along with wet dishes after the cycle has completed. I actually had a repairmen tell me that with this unit I needed to wash the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. Also, they told me to not use tabs but to use powder so I could add twice the amount of dishwasher cleaner needed to break down food particles. I also need to run the kitchen faucet awhile before starting to get the water hot it would wash better. I, like an idiot did all of these things. Maybe if I stand on one leg and twirl around it might make it work also.

Purchased a Samsung French door refrigerator 16 months ago. It was pricey but it was a smaller refrigerator that fit well in our kitchen, and based on reviews on Consumer Reports thought it was going to be great. First problem is the door handles. Any slight bump of a dish going in the fridge chips off the black paint leaving white marks. Then I started noticing water in the bottom of the bins. After 13 months, the refrigerator stopped cooling. Of course, the year warranty was up, so I was responsible for the cost. Called Samsung and they said I would hear from a repairperson within 48 hours. After 3 days I called them back and said I hadnt heard from anyone, so they gave me the name of the company to call myself (could have saved time doing that in the first place). Repairman couldnt come for 2 more days. When he did, he said I would have to defrost all the ice that had built up on the back wall of the fridge and that he would order a part. So... 5 more days without a refrigerator. New part works. Then last week, noticed the refrigerator getting warm again, and the freezer had ice crystals all over and the food was rock hard. Put in a thermometer and the fridge was 58 and the freezer was -10. Repairman back out. He was stumped, but called their Samsung expert. He asked if we used the ice maker (no... we have enough problems). Seems the light that says ice off needs to be on, or the freezer works extra hard to make ice (even though there is no water hooked up). Hope this helps someone. So, again we had to defrost the fridge. Its worked now for a week - not sure how long this will last. Samsung needs to admit there is a flaw in their refrigerators and give us some compensation.

I purchased a Samsung refrigerator less than 4 years ago. Began having problems right away with cube vs. crushed ice. Then within first year ice maker would freeze up. Almost impossible to remove ice bin on ice maker when it freezes up. Have had it repaired twice for hefty service fees. The only solution now is to replace the ice maker with the same crappy design or purchase a new refrigerator which would never be a Samsung. I have contacted Samsung several times and they have never responded. I am extremely disappointed with this manufacturer.

The cost to repair we were told could be around 500.00 DOLLARS which is too much for a new fridge. Now we have to buy ice because there is no way to put ice in the maker. We had a Frigidaire for twenty years with ice maker still working. We will never a Samsung refrigerator!

Read all of the negative reviews on Samsung refrigerators. They all say the same thing.... Ice maker freezing up, water pooling in and under the meat and vegetable bends, water overflow on the floor, filter light will not go off. Dont just read what is said on this site... Go anywhere on the web. You will see nothing but the same negative reports. Samsung will not recall nor fix the problem. Samsung sent out a service memo to the companies who sell their refrigerator in June of 2015 advising them of existing problems with the refrigerator. Lowes sold me a Samsung refrigerator without telling me about the existing problems or the service memo. Samsung will not stand behind their product. The only way we, as consumers, can fight back is to boycott the company and the stores that sell their products. Consumers are fighting back... There is a class action law suit against Samsung over these faulty refrigerators. The stores who continue to sell Samsung products without telling the customer about existing problems should be sued also.

I purchased. Samsung refrigerator in 2017, and had to have it repaired three times, finally gutting all cooling apparatus and replacing it to make it work. Even so, I purchased a Samsung range in 2018 on the advice of my local repairman. This stove was two weeks old when the black stainless steel coating began to peel away from the door of the stove after being cared for as the directions indicated: soft cloth and water. Home Depot and Samsung claim that this is not a mechanical issue and therefore not covered in any way. Then, a few months later, in November 2018, the cooking grates began to shed flakes of coating, right near my food, and rising was occurring and visible. They replaced them after a few months (March, 2019) more and several calls. My one year warranty was up in May 2019, the new cooking grates began peeling and flaking again in August. After much talking and being patient but firm, they have agreed to send me new grates, but why bother? They will peel again in a few months! I am so frustrated, how is this company allowed to make substandard appliances that are a danger to people and not even held accountable? I am really concerned about this flaking coating so near my food. I really want this stove out of my kitchen!

When I called Sears, they informed me that a technician would not be able to come out for 10 days. If I wanted someone sooner, I would have to call Samsung. Samsung sent out a tech within 3 days who said there was a leak and more than likely it would break down again until they can find the source of the leak. Just over a week ago, the freezer stopped cooling again. I called Samsung and they told me that I had to get in touch with someone to repair and I would be compensated, but they had to be certified to work on Samsung. I called the same company that came out before, who, as of 2 days ago, no longer deals with Samsung and 2 other companies who wont work on Samsung at all. Im stuck with a $3000 refrigerator that was purchased less than a year ago with an extended warranty that no one, including Sears or Samsung, is willing to fix!!

We purchased the Samsung french door refrigerator Model RF267ABRS in May of 2009. We bought an extended warranty from Lowes at the time of purchase which was a good thing!! Within 6 months we started having problems with ice forming underneath the deli drawer and out of the holes in the inside, back of refrigerator. We called the warranty company and they sent out a technician within 2 days. He informed us that this is a common problem with Samsung refrigerators as the drainage tube in the rear of the refrigerator is too small and ices up. He advised us to defrost the refrigerator and he would return IN 4 DAYS, once it was totally defrosted and run a line through the tube to check for blockages. He advised me to call Samsung regarding this problem. I did call and the service rep told me they had NEVER had this problem with their refrigerators before and refused to do anything about it. I told her it was all over the reviews and she told me they dont read them. (HA-HA)!!! I requested to speak with a Supervisor and was told the same thing. Since that time, I have called them a total of 6 times with no resolution other than being told to DEFROST when this happens!!! I thought I was buying a FROST-FREE REFRIGERATOR but Samsung seems to think otherwise, taking no responsibility for their product. Six months later, the same thing happened. This time before the warranty company would not send anyone out until the refrigerator was DEFROSTED FOR 4 DAYS. He came out and again ran a line through the tube and left. Since then, this piece of junk freezes up every 4 months and has to be totally defrosted for 4 days to de-ice it. I will never buy anything from Samsung again as they do not stand behind their products. To have paid the amount of $$$ on this and have them completely ignore the problem is poor business practice and tells a lot about the company and how it is run. NEVER AGAIN!

Six months later there was water under the crisper drawer and the freezer froze over. I cleaned the water from the crisper drawer thinking it was possibly a one time thing. We contacted Samsung support and they sent a repairman to fix the fridge and after a great deal of time waiting for a part the dispenser worked. 12 months later the ice dispenser ceased to work so we contacted Samsung once again and were directed to another repair firm who said the dispenser was faulty and we had to wait once again for a new part. By this time I was worried that our warranty would expire but the Samsung repairer assured me we would still be covered because it was always the same problem. Now time has passed and we started to find small pieces of white plastic mixed with our ice, a month later and the dispenser has ceased working. We have contacted Samsung once again requesting a new fridge not a repair this time. Samsung said they would contact their assessor which they haven’t so we did. The assessor have said they would contact Samsung and get back to us again this did not eventuate. We feel we are right back at square one with a faulty fridge.

My Samsung refrigerator is five or six years old. Since the beginning, I have had problems with it. (Water accumulated underneath the vegetable and fruit drawers.) While under warranty, the refrigerator was repaired by Samsung without a problem. When the same problem recurred, the refrigerator was out of warranty. Since it was the same problem, I sought help from Samsung. The tirade I was exposed to from the manager of the support/repair department at Samsung was shameful and insulting. He was indignant that I should ask for a repair from Samsung and scolded me like I was a 5-year old. He said that a five or six year old refrigerator was already very old and then asked how long did I expect a refrigerator to work anyhow? He went on and on until I finally said Thank you and Good bye.Today I replaced that defective part myself and found that when it was repaired the first time, a used or refurbished part had been installed. This was obvious by the amount of duct tape and silver tape (used by heating duct installers) that held the part together on the side on the back, hidden from view. I was surprised the used part lasted as long as it did. I will NEVER recommend Samsung products to anyone. I am thoroughly disappointed in the refrigerator and the so-called manager without any managerial qualifications. I prefer to remain anonymous but if Consumer Affairs needs more verification, I will be happy to supply copies of whatever I have.

Purchased a new Samsung oven, dishwasher and fridge combo from Best Buy. Within 4 months of owning the oven, used very little, the oven started having serious issues. The oven would take forever to heat up, have to put it on 500 degrees to get it to heat up to 350 degrees. When you opened the door to put anything in the oven it dropped about 200 degrees. Have to wait for it to heat up again. In the middle of baking time, the oven would drop its temperature. Other times it would heat above whatever you place the oven temp on. Went to Best Buy, they had to call Samsung. Was going to be on hold for over a half hour so left and placed the called myself. When I finally got a hold of Samsung, they said they had never heard of anything like this before happening. They sent out a tech. The tech determined the whole motherboard needed replaced. Three weeks later the motherboard arrived and a tech came out and installed. Havent had problems since however for the oven only being a few months old the motherboard should not have failed. The fridge is very loud and the freezer causes freezer burn on everything. I am glad that Samsung had no issues sending someone out to repair it at no charge however they need to look more into what is causing the issue. It ruined our Thanksgiving dinner!

In May, 2016 we purchased a Samsung Microwave Model # ME16H702SES/A... and the rest of the number is not visible due to the fire which burned off the serial number and part of the model number. I suspect the fire started due to electrical arcing between the microwave housing and the door, because I had that on another model six years ago, and the arcing started while the unit was not being used. The fire started in October 2016 and we contacted Home Depot Canada, the vendor. They took the information and said someone from Samsung would be coming to look at the damage and by the middle of November 2016 no one had come. We called Home Depot again and they told us to contact Samsung Canada for help. We did so, and on December 2, 2016 we received an email from Meyson **, asking us for a copy of the store receipt and photographs of the damaged area. On December 14 I sent the photographs, also asking him to confirm the receipt of the information. He replied the same day stating he had not received the photographs, I sent them again the same day, both times I sent them, there was no negative feedback from the email system, and this indicates the emails had gone through. On December 23 I had not received a reply from Meyson ** so I emailed him again indicating the length of time it was taking to acknowledge and repair this product, and heard nothing from him.December 27, I called the Samsung Canada Specialty Group (where Meyson ** works) and he wasnt available so we described the problem to another support person, they said in order to help us they required an order number. Obviously they didnt know the difference between an order number and a ticket number. After 30-35 minutes on the phone with a few individuals, it was useless going forward. We called Home Depot again asking for the appliance rep in the store where we purchased the unit and he was on vacation. At this point there is little use in pursuing this through the Customer Support area so we will file an incident with the Better Business Bureau and the CSA Group since we have had more success with the CSA in the past than the vendor.

I have been in touch with Samsung regarding my microwave since August 3, 2017. At first, they were going to send out a tech to look at it since it completely just stopped working. My microwave is less than a year old and under warranty. After three days without a call from a tech to schedule an appointment to come fix it I called Samsung back. I explained that no one has come by or called about fixing my microwave. The customer service rep said they would contact the company about coming out to repair it. I also asked for the companys number. After still not hearing from them I called the company myself. No one answered so I left a message. After another few days with no call back I called Samsung again and reported the issue. Next, the rep put me on hold and tried to contact the company with no success. That rep said they would keep trying and call me back. Finally, after more than 2 weeks without a working microwave a Samsung rep called stating that they did not have anyone that could repair it and would issue a refund. But of course, there is a catch! I had to supply a receipt that I no longer and had paid cash for the microwave so no bank record. Once I explained this they said they could still issue a refund but it would take 10 days of review and then they would send out an email to start the process for getting a refund. I am not a criminal nor am I trying to scam them. I would much rather have my microwave fixed than purchase another one. But that does not seem to be an option. I cannot understand why it would take 10 days for review. Also, the refund is going to be $37 less than what we paid. We have had other Samsung products that we have had to replace or repair. We replaced our dishwasher and our refrigerator need to be replaced. It has several issues. We will not be purchasing anymore Samsung products or recommending them! We finally just went ahead and purchased another microwave and have the Samsung sitting around waiting for the email about getting a refund. Samsung requires you to take a picture of it with the cord cut and the serial number. I get this procedure but I should not have to wait 10 days for an email in order to send this information in. It seems like a stall tactic to me. I am a service business owner and would never have a customer wait over a month for results!

On March 15, 2013 we bought a Samsung French Door Smart Refrigerator (model # RF263BEAEWW/AA) from Home Depot, along with a 5-yr extended warranty. The ice maker was a little loud, but we could live with it. It was the perfect size, and had everything we needed. One yr and 10 months after we bought it, it stopped working on Dec. 23. There is only 2 people in our household, so it was not like someone was in and out of the refrigerator all day. On Dec. 29 the repairman came out and he said we needed a new compressor and he had to order the part. On Jan 12 the repairman returned with the compressor, but then said the freon had leaked out (which he could have found if he had brought the proper tools on the 1st visit) and as a result had spewed oil into all the coils and now everything had to be replaced, and he needed to order the parts! On Jan 16, we were told the parts would be in on Jan. 20..but by Jan. 30 they had not come in and we were told they were on back order. At this point, we had been without a refrigerator for ONE month! Home Depot finally reimbursed us for the cost of what we paid for the refrigerator, but it wasnt enough to cover a like model, in another brand. Once we knew the refrigerator could not be fixed, we wanted to return 2 Samsung water filters we had bought last year, to the cost of $154.00. The boxes have never been opened, but when I called Samsung parts representative, J & J International, they said they were unreturnable. Apparently, you only have 30 days to return parts, even if unopened! I will NEVER buy another Samsung product again. Buyer beware, their products get good reviews, but if anything happens, it is impossible to get parts or any customer satisfaction!!

My beautiful Samsung French-Door Refrigerator has caused us nothing but problems. Freezing up at the back of the unit, the ice maker worked well for about 12 months and then would jam and ice over, to the point where I cant open the ice cabinet any more. Have had 2 repairs done, and $800 later its no better. It will be going out on the front lawn in about 2 weeks, as I think thats all the life that is left in her. Many of our friends have has the same issue... not sure why there hasnt been a recall on any of the parts that we had repaired. Try Googling issues with Samsung fridges - and the first thing that comes up is fridge icing over... hmm... I detect a theme here. DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG FRIDGES!!! They blow...

Stove #NX58H5600S - Purchased the range In January of 2016. Recently notice
Stove #NX58H5600S - Purchased the range In January of 2016. Recently noticed that the oven floor had corrosion spots (rusting) as well as cracks in the enamel of the oven floor. I was quite disappointed since I mostly use the cooktop rather than the oven. It has not had a lot of use. I felt that the oven floor was defective. I contacted Samsung and was told to send pictures, so that the situation could be evaluated. I was then told to contact a service center in another state to have the oven evaluated at my cost. The service manager, after viewing the photos, (did not actually see the rust and cracking) stated that the problem was not a defect but cosmetic and physical damage. Since the stove was out of warranty, I would have to pay for the repair myself. Samsung does not stand behind their products. I would never buy one of their products again or recommend them to anyone.

Please do not buy this refrigerator. Im trying to save you annoyance and time. I need to know how this will end. I strongly dont recommend this product of the Samsung refrigerator. They may can make other good things but refrigerators isnt one of them. We have a loud noise coming from the back of it. The repairman told us to cut the water off and dont use it. He said they been having problems with the ice maker. But were like we paid extra for the ice maker. Do you think everybody need to get together and do a lawsuit for them to finally do a recall back on this product?

I purchased The Stainless Samsung French Door with 2 drawers - Bottom Drawe
I purchased The Stainless Samsung French Door with 2 drawers - Bottom Drawer Freezer - (Model #RF24FSEDBSR/AA) March 2016. I had issues from the first day. Ice maker was putting out approx 10 cubes per day. The cubes looked frostbitten. Water leaking from ice maker down the front of the refrigerator. Ice maker wasnt sealed properly causing moisture inside fridge. I have had many issues with the ice maker and it was replaced three times. I had another issue where my freezer stopped freezing and I lost the entire contents. Tech told me to turn it into my insurance, which I didnt. All within the first year. Since I was having so many issues Samsung gave me a free ONE TIME service call to replace another ice maker. I continued to have issues with the ice maker and it finally stopped working altogether. I thought mine was the only one. Come to find out there are so many others with the same issues. I contacted Samsung again once I knew there were ongoing issues and mine was not the only one. I explained that I had a failed back surgery with restrictions on lifting and these 20 lb bags of ice are not easily handled. I told them that I wanted what I paid for - A working fridge, freezer and ice maker. They ignored my request. This fridge was over $3000. SO FAR they have completely ignored me.

We purchased a Samsung side by side model RS25J5822DSG from Home Depot. We had it delivered and when it was delivered they tried to put the bins in the refrigerator door. They would not fit. Home Depot would not do a thing about it. They told us to call Samsung. I called their customer service and have had nothing but a run around on the unit. They sent us new bins and of course they would not work because the mold in the door is defective. I am requesting a brand new refrigerator and still no response. I will keep on this. It is ** to see that even the stores that sell them will not back the product.

Samsung refrigerator RF217ACBPXAA - I purchased a Samsung refrigerator less
Samsung refrigerator RF217ACBPXAA - I purchased a Samsung refrigerator less than 2 years ago. Water accumulated in the vegetable and fruit bins. A repairman came and fixed the problem. One month later, it happened again. A repairman came and fixed it, but said he couldnt say that it wouldnt happen again. Freezing occurs and clogs the water from making ice, therefore backing up and coming into the bins. Less than 2 weeks later, it happened again. Samsung says that the repairman has to state that it cannot be repaired for them to take another course of action. I searched online and found this to be a problem with many. I am considering a class action suit. Please advise.
