The LOUD popping and BOOM noises! Samsung needs to be held responsible for selling and continuing to sell defective refrigerators for years it seems. I have model RF263BEAESR and the noises sometimes make me jump out of bed! I see after reading many reviews here, that so many people have this same problem. Service is coming out again to fix it, but the fix lasts a week, so what good is that? I bought it from Best Buy with all the rest of the appliances. Its a year of hell now and I am thinking about just contacting the credit card company and let them fight between themselves. I dont even want a new Samsung fridge in return. I want a comparable new one from a total different brand!!! THE WORST!!!

Our Samsung microwave model smh9187w is about 2 years old and the control panel already had to be replaced. The service company your site guided us to charged us $259.50 to fix a $350 Microwave. The tech was at my house for about 20 minutes and Unique Repair service charged $170.00 for labor!! I could have had the Pope come and do it for that. Needless to say we will never deal with the service company or buy another Samsung product! Shameful!!

We bought our Samsung from Lowe's. It was on sale and with my veteran's discount, it was a great price. We are empty nesters and the size of the fridge is perfect for us, with ample door storage. Lots of freezer space also. We love the filtered ice/water through the door options. The stainless steel is so easy to keep clean and looks really sharp. Temperature controls actually work where in some other brands we have owned they were more like idiot gages, nonfunctional. We have owned it six years now and still loving it. Only thing I would change is the location of the water filter. Put it up top so an old man like me does not have to lay down to make the change.

We purchased a Samsung RF28HFEDTSR French Door Refrigerator in 7/27/14 from Lowes. The ice maker never dispensed ice properly - slow and partially crushed on cube setting. The bottom Ice maker stopped working after 2 years. The top ice maker stopped working after 3 1/2 years now. It was freezing up - following Youtube advice we have been defrosting the back with a blow dryer for 2 months now. The fan is now making a very loud noise. We will have to call a repairman now. We will not buy anything Samsung again. This has been a disappointment since day one and we have called Samsung year ago to complain but since the warranty has expired they say call a repairman. We have had refrigerators in the past and most last at least 15 yrs. These are obviously defective refrigerators from reading complaints online, all mirroring our experience exactly.

I purchased it new 12/08, Model RB215LABP, from Lowes. We had problems with the unit maintaining temperature in both the refrigerator & freezer. It was apparently stemming from power surges. I cant remember the first time I contacted Samsung, but I was told to unplug the unit and wait 5 minutes. This happened on several occasions, with food spoilage occurring in several of the instances. On 11/23/2011, a power surge blew out a relay switch which cost $272 to replace. On April 26, 2012 a power surge knocked out the unit again. I contacted Samsung and I was referred to the Executive Complaint Dept. I have not returned their calls (2) yet. I want to consult with the law firm handling the class action lawsuit first.

I do not like the design is the stovetop. It has deep holes at the burners that catch food and dirt. Very difficult to clean. The computer key pad is also difficult to keep clean. Food particles get stuck in the metal trim. The computer has broken twice in three years. Overall would like to have an older more reliable easier to clean stove, oven, range!

We purchased a Samsung side-by-side refrigerator (RH25H5611SR/AA) in June 2
We purchased a Samsung side-by-side refrigerator (RH25H5611SR/AA) in June 2016 from Sears. In December, the circulating fan in the refrigerator side gave out. Do a search - this is a continuing problem for Samsung refrigerators, across many models. It took 3 weeks and many phone calls before the service guy showed up and finally fixed it with a replacement part in less than 15 minutes. Three days ago, the same thing happened to the freezer side. Sometimes the fan runs (noisily) and it cools, mostly it doesnt and the freezer sits at about 45 degrees with water from melting ice running out the front. So I started a service request online late Tuesday evening. Thursday noon, Samsung called. I had to play along with their script for troubleshooting which is a huge OMG waste of time. Finally, everything looked good, the support person assured me - I would just have to monitor it for 24 hours (they are expecting a miraculous healing?), then I could call back and schedule an repair appointment. Okay - I called the next day, same time. Now let me mention, this refrigerator was a floor model. So it was sold more than a year after it was made. We were assured it would be under warranty. BUT - it fails Samsungs automated warranty approval application - so the same as the first time, when I called back they tell me it isnt under warranty. They have the sales receipt I sent the first time, which was approved - theyre reading it - but they get stuck because they cant read past the delivery date on top to the bottom where the purchase date is shown. So they tell me its not a valid receipt. They tell me its a delivery receipt (it isnt - just a planned delivery time 7 am-12 pm is shown). Both dates are still in warranty, but in the end they tell me I have to submit the same receipt again. Its Friday. Another 3 or 4 day delay until whoever approves receipts looks at it. Instant rejection, 3 days to reprocess. So earliest, Monday or Tuesday I may get called back and with luck only wait another week until the service guy shows up. My old refrigerator in the garage has been running 19 years without a hiccup. Samsung - exploding washers, defective refrigerators and customer service that would make Comcast proud. Honestly, I wouldnt buy toilet paper from that company.

The tech from NZ Systems in London, ON came out - Murphys Law in the hour, he was there no sound, he leaves, sound returns & has been going since. I have yet to get the tech to come back and Samsung says I have contact this company again. Who is taking responsibility for this. I am very, very disappointed in my fancy and VERY EXPENSIVE fridge.

Per Samsung, some microwaves out of warranty had to be repaired as they displayed an SE error. Samsung sent someone to fix the microwave, which worked for about two weeks before again had the same problem. As there was a death in the family and I did not call back within 30 days of the first visit, they said they will send a technician to replace the bad part they put in but I would have to pay the labor but not for the part. Instead will trash the microwave.Just glad this happened before I bought the new Samsung refrigerator, dishwasher, washer, and dryer I had picked out for delivery later this month. Will not buy any Samsung product again as they forgot what customer service means. And when I asked to speak to a supervisor, the man simply kept putting me on hold for more than 30 minutes but would return every 4 minutes to say the supervisor would be on the phone shortly. I consider it a waste of time to deal with Samsung consumer department and a waste of money to buy their products.

Bought in 11/14. Ice maker quit working in july 2015. Called Lowes, service person out and stated the ice maker recalled on this model RF260beaesr/aa. French doors with ice maker in freezer bottom. February 2016 ice maker not working again. Repairman on way to house, ice maker working again before he arrived. 3/2 ice maker quit again. Call to Lowes. Will wait for diagnosis of problem. Calls to Samsung go to Dominican Republic. I am unable to understand the person/language barrier. Would like to talk with a US person in regards to the problem with the ice maker. I am guessing it is a flawed system and the part used in September was not the correct part of fix the problem.

I had similar problems to those reported - 1/2 inch of water then ice on bottom of fridge compartment, ice in freezer, difficulty resetting after power outage, multiple service calls; also, all plastic drawers and door shelves have major cracks. Problems started after only two years and I loved this thing, gave the utmost in care. I am so frustrated. Latest service call they said $600 to fix (after $70 for the visit). Was ready to buy another one because I liked the design, til I found this site. On Facebook, company says they are not aware of any such problems.

Bought this fridge in Feb 2015, I think it was just under a year and noticed a noise in the fridge like a grinding rattling, at the same time the ice machine stopped giving ice. A month later I started noticing the door fridge temp looked normal but the inside was much warmer and we kept blaming our grocery store for the spoiled milk we were going through. I then noticed the rear wall had ice building up through the holes, I decided to unplug it to defrost overnight and load everything into coolers. The noise went away and when I finally got the icebox to pull out I found the interior to be iced right solid. I chipped away the ice and again left it to defrost completely. This lasted for about 3 months and it all started again. I started doing research and to my shock realized these fridges were lemons and the company didnt stand behind their product and in fact in the U.S. there was a Class Action Suit. Last week I finally called Samsung Electronics Canada and told them of the issues and of the Service Bulletin ASC20170602002 for the icebox. They told me I was out of warranty and would cover only the parts, I flat out refused and insisted labor be included. I do feel confident even if this repair was covered by them that the repair would only come back as these fridges look nice on the outside but are of poor design. I have made a complaint to BBB as well as I will be pursuing all other avenues to make these issues public, I cant believe this company hasnt been exposed yet with how they treat their customers.

We purchased an expensive Samsung Dishwasher model DMT800RHS 2 years ago. The dishwasher has never ever really gotten the dishes clean, even after trying to change the type of dishwasher soap as well as turning up the hot water tank and running hot water prior to starting the dishwasher as was suggested. The dishwasher is being repaired for the 3rd time now to a 5E error message. According to the manual the dishwasher is not able to drain. At a cost of $125.00, three times now I am very disappointed in the product and do not recommend anybody buy this dishwasher.

My range stopped working on January 12th. I called Samsung. I was told there isnt a warranty and that they dont support their products for more than a year. If I spend a few thousand dollars on an appliance, I expect better. The person I spoke to was rude and short and basically said tough. I know getting those calls from unhappy customers isnt always fun, but usually manufacturers of product take pride in their work and stand behind it. It is what it is. Turns out a wire, for some reason shorted out on 12th of January. My range is 2.5 years old. When that happened, the techs ordered some parts thinking it was the terminal that blew (guess it happens a lot). They had to order parts. They came out on January 18th and guess what? It wasnt the terminal. It was a short in a wire. But also the motherboard blew out. They ordered a new one and came back on January 20th, but the new board fresh out of the box, was cracked and didnt work. So they ordered another one. They came today, January 25th and that board, fresh out of the box was cracked also. I have been without a working range for 2 weeks now! I contacted Samsung about their less than stellar quality of parts and they informed me it was the service techs were not Samsung Authorized. Ha! They sure are. I am not opposed to paying for service. Its like a new car, you have to have service it. For me its about the quality of the product.I have never in my life been so disappointed in a product I purchased. I am so deeply discouraged in this company right now. How can Samsung, in good faith promote a product that only last a couple years? Then all of the parts that have been ordered are broken also? Thats wrong. The less than acceptable quality portrayed by Samsung is completely unacceptable. The moral of the story is this. I will never again purchase a Samsung Product. I will not recommend it to a friend and I will not give a 5 star rating to this kind of support, service or quality. I am telling everyone I know to never invest in Samsung. You do not stand behind your products. The quality of the product is less than stellar and consumers deserve better. I deserve better!

Upon removing all of the packing tape from my brand new Samsung range, the many problems were revealed. Outer panels were not attached properly (one side held together with the packing tape), behind that panel, another completely detached piece of sheet metal, and the oven light was dangling from its wires. Upon the discovery of this possible electrical hazard, I decided not to risk plugging it in. Now I have a useless range in my kitchen, a fridge full of highly perishable foods to cook, and no resolution for several days... I just have to sit with it and wait for someone for Home Depot to call me back. I assume I will have to take another day off work to await pick-up (Samsung lost my confidence, replacement is not an option). I should have learned this lesson last year when my brand new Samsung phone needed warranty work after two weeks of ownership. I now ask the questions; what is the true cost of this transaction? How much money and personal time will this cost me? Will Samsung compensate me for any of that? After all, it was their carelessness and lack of quality control that lead to this. They could redeem themselves with an appropriate offer, however, based on what Ive read about Samsung CS, its not likely. Goodbye forever Samsung... Thats one Titanic Id like to see sinking.

I like the look of the Samsung range. I’m currently on my second one as the first one had lasted about ten years before the circuit board in the back burnt out. I spent about $75 for a new board thinking that it would be good for another ten years however, it only last another two months. Therefore I just bought a new one that looked exactly the same. I had the old one recycled. The new convection oven works much better than the old one. It moves the air in a much better way to more evenly cook whatever is in the oven. This new Samsung seems easier to clean and keep clean as well. I really appreciate that I can still find the same looking model type many years later. The stainless steel finish exactly matches all of the other older Samsung appliances in the kitchen.

Problems since first day... We purchased all our new appliances for our new
Problems since first day... We purchased all our new appliances for our new home to be delivered Feb. 28, 2014. We are very happy with the fridge, washer, dryer. Not so happy with the over the stove microwave as it does not seem to pull in the steam at all and it goes all over the front of the cupboards and underneath as well. And steam drips down the tiled backsplash. The dishwasher is a whole other story. The young fellow brings it in and installs it. While testing it water flooded out the bottom of it. He tried several things but could not figure it out. He called his office and told them the problem and they said they would send out another dishwasher the next day. He then leaves. I go downstairs to get something from the freezer and there is water all over the floor at the bottom of the stairs. I call the store and he comes back. I asked him why he would leave when he knew there was a problem. He had forgot to connect something so he fixed it and returned the next day with another dishwasher. This is number 2... So he does all the connections and lo and behold, water comes spewing out the bottom again! He did try to conquer the problem but to no avail. He called and told the girl at the office about it and they said they would send out another one. This is all in the first week of us supposedly trying to enjoy moving into our new home. So a few days go by and along comes dishwasher number three with two fellows to install it. One does all the work while the other one just lolls around on my new engineered hardwood floor. I wanted to scream!! I was afraid by the time this was figured out I would have a whole lot of marks on the floor. They were here for over two hours and yet again it leaked. Really?? I called the appliance store and complained non-stop like a lunatic because of frustration and to get right down to it, anger. They suggested that I try to pick out a different line of dishwasher. I said I wanted the one that matched all the other appliances. Would they be willing to trade them all out? Well, of course not. So yet again along comes dishwasher number 4 with yet another installer. He installed it and did a quick test and yay! It didnt leak. The next day, water on the floor. In the meantime, I am back at work and have to arrange these visits with repairmen for before I start work at 4 in the afternoon. So, I call the appliance store and rant again. They make an appointment for me with one of the salespeople at a different location. We purchased from a large retailer on 149 Street, Edmonton. They sent us to the 47 Avenue one which is a fair distance from where we live. We went in and it seemed like the salesperson felt we were being unreasonable. I asked him if this kind of product and service would make him happy and would he like it if his time was taken up with this. Long and short, he tried to get us to change to another line and we said no. So he said he would give us $200 off. Big deal. But it was better than nothing. They said they had never had this kind of problem before, so we said lucky us, being the one off. So again back to a number of visits from a serviceman. We were told that maybe our water temperature was too high and this was causing a problem. The temperature of our water was lower than what it gets to on the sanitize cycle by 35 degrees so that seems to be a load of you know what. Then he said it was this part at the front of the dishwasher so he replaced that. Still leaking. I give up and just keep putting a dishtowel under it to catch the leaks and save the hardwood floor. Three years go by (not quite) and now besides the leak it stops draining on occasion and the OE light comes on. I call another repair place that services Samsung products. The guy comes out and says that he needs to replace a part so we do that. He sets up a test and promptly leaves. It hits the rinse cycle and water comes spewing out the bottom again but it did drain. Call them back and have to wait a couple of weeks and he comes out and did something to it and said if there were any problems to call them after Christmas because they would now be closed until after the New Year. Yay!! The third visit he comes out to repair it and now the stupid thing will not do anything. It will not fill even at the beginning to start the leaking process or the OE light to come on, just sits there. I do feel for him as he seems to be a very nice man but now he is waiting to hear back from the Samsung technical help desk to get back to him with some things to try. He tried to replace the circuit panel, but the new one did the same thing as the old. He got out some manual and tried to do some troubleshooting and nothing happened. He checked the pump but that was ok. He checked the overflow sensors and they were fine. Before he came out for the third time I ran it through five cycles. On the normal cycle it did what it was supposed to do and no leaking. Same with the Heavy cycle and Delicate. Did the Quick cycle and it leaked but it did empty. On the Pots and Pans the OE light came on and it did not drain and it leaked. After he tried all he could think to try on the last (third) visit it wont do anything but the lights do come on, just no action. I thought I could just go back to putting the towel on the floor and maybe have to try draining it manually or with some luck maybe it would work when I held down the drain button (sometimes it did and sometimes, no). So here we are with the mother of all dishwashers that looks nice but is totally useless. And I get the distinct pleasure of washing dishes. I dont mind doing that when I feel like it but not all the time because I have to. We will wait now to see if Samsung tech came up with anything for our poor repairman. If not we will ask for our money back on the repair that was useless and go buy a dishwasher from a reputable appliance store from reputable salesperson after doing a lot of research to find out what one would be the most... reputable and reliable. Because we know now for sure that it is not Samsung and we did not care for the service from the place we purchased from originally.

I recently purchased a home and needed a microwave. My parents have a second home and they were kind enough to give me the 2-year-old Samsung microwave from that home. The microwave was hardly ever used when my parents had it, so apparently daily use was just too much for it. The keypad will not work - at all - not one single button. Ive tried unplugging it and leaving it unplugged for hours, it doesnt work. The display just flashes Simply Samsung forever. Then, in the middle of the night, it activates the 1 button by itself. Ill wake up and hear it repeatedly dinging and the display says 11:11. This microwave was never exposed to any water or harsh climate conditions. Its just a piece of **. On Feb 12th 2020, I had a new Samsung Microwave, Model # ME19R7041FS delivered and installed over my range. On May 11th, the microwave turned itself on. By the time I heard the fan running the oven was so hot I could not touch it. None of the controls worked to shut it off so I was forced to unplug it. The Microwave was hot both inside and the outside as well was so hot it not touchable. Fortunately I was home at the time of this incident and was able to unplug it. I cant imagine what might have happened if I had not been at home. I feel that a fire would easily have been the next step. I called Samsung and they said they would not replace the microwave that their technicians would be capable to fixing it. It is now supposedly fixed, however, I am not confident enough to leave it plugged in when I am not here. I unplug it when I am leaving the house. I feel Samsung should have replaced this unit as it was only 3 months old when it malfunctioned. I am seriously considering buying another brand microwave and replacing the Samsung one so that I feel safe.

Unit continued to short cycle. Came out again said outdoor motherboard AND compressor overload were both bad...then outdoor blower motor was bad. They replaced all of those items. I have years of AC experience and told the KID that is not the problem. He leaves unit still short cycling so I finally called Manila again and told them MY diagnosis. After further discussion between themselves they agreed to send same KID out to replace the indoor thermistor. The KID damaged my casings on inside unit. Now unit is acting up again with about 3 weeks remaining on warranty. I told them they need to send someone else out as I had banned Mystic from coming inside the property again since he has really no idea what he is doing and no respect for someone elses property....I.e. Indoor portion of the Samsung a.c. NEVER EVER BUY SAMSUNG AIRCON products....unless youre rich and dont mind just throwing your money out the door. Learned my lesson on Samsung. Never again buy their a.c. products.

I bought a Samsung french door fridge and paid $2500 four years ago. In December, the freezer stopped freezing. The display said temp was -2 but food was defrosted. So far, I have had 8 techs. They had changed the boards twice, put all new fan motors and thermostats all in the past 2 months. Freezer still doesnt work. So now, I have a very expensive piece of junk in my kitchen. They told me it cant be fixed.

Samsung otr microwave smh9207st is very dangerous and should be recalled. It had the door replaced twice and almost every holiday while I was cooking on the stove the steam rose and if the microwave was turned on it died like it isnt sealed properly. I think it was the third time it actually caught on fire and the magnetron and numerous parts were replaced free of charge with the promise if it failed again it would be replaced with no problems. When it died again they did not replace it - they repaired it again. When it died again they admitted they had it on record it was supposed to be replaced but refused to. They would pay for the magnetron but that was it. I would be responsible for the labor and any other parts. The repair service visit for the fire the repairman had just left a place not 20 miles from me for the same microwave catching on fire. I wanted to share my experience because I believe someone might truly get hurt by this product. I will not repair this again for the fear of burning my house down. I will never buy one of their products again because I have found they do not care if it is dangerous. They should recall and discontinue making it.

Years back, we bought a Samsung washer, and had an awful experience, but we decided to give them a second try because we have always loved their phones. We bought a beautiful fridge and hoped for the best. It wasnt the case. We just replace our Samsung french door, bottom drawer fridge after 4 years and almost 1 month. Keep in mind, we paid $2,000.00 for this appliance. If you Google this fridge, you will see that every person who has ever owned one has had water leaking and drain line issues. We were no exception. After about 2 years of ownership the fridge began to leak water at the front left hand corner. We called our serviceman and were told this happens with every single one of these. We were instructed to thaw it out with a hairdryer! When that did not solve the issue, we were instructed to completely empty the fridge, defrost it for at least 24 hours, and then turn it back on. Each remedy worked for a time, then same issue would pop up again. We limped it along for two years, with the problem reoccurring more and more frequently. Finally, we had to thaw it about every day, and rather than loose our food, we bought a new fridge. We were told to contact Samsung, and they tried to say that we did not have the properly fridge unleveled (it was professionally installed), and offered to repair it at our cost. To add insult to injury, it damaged my wooden floors, and the edge of an antique cabinet. Please save yourself the grief and do not purchase any fridge from this company.

Changed out my perfectly working 20yr old dishwasher for New Samsung Stormwash w/ auto-release dry. Big mistake! Purchased from Home Depot. Delivery was a joke as they cancelled a promised Saturday delivery. I had to drive a town away to pick it up myself after waiting a week and then they cancelled appt. Next, 5 months later dishwasher leaked all over my kitchen floor and it hadnt been turned on yet. Customer no service overseas a joke. Said I should have bought a warranty. Told them I didnt have a crystal ball and if Id known it was a cruddy product I wouldnt have purchased it in the first place. Had to pull all my dishes and wash by hand. Waiting to hear from them to fix it. Dont want it but refused to take it back. Damage to floor.

We have a Samsung model RF217 series refrigerator. Its an absolutely beautiful appliance to look at, but it freezes everything below the top shelf, even with the temperature at its highest setting. This is not the strangest thing, however. Ice accumulates in the vegetable bins. This seems impossible since there is no source of water - we have never hooked up a water line to the ice maker. So those of you with water in the vegetable bins, the source may not be the ice maker or water line. If anyone has the answer, Id love to hear it.

My Samsung refrigerator is about 4 years old. Several times, it has simply quit operating. Most times disconnecting the power and restarting it has solved the problem. Yesterday it starting showing the error message OF which means it has gone back into showroom mode. This mode shuts the refrigerator down and is used in showroom situations to reduce power consumption. I researched the error code and tried all the solutions outlined on the various websites to no avail. I called a repairman and he indicated that the computer has failed and I would need to spend $600 to fix it. This was a top-rated refrigerator by Consumer Affairs. You were clearly misguided and should remove this appliance from your recommendations immediately. My last refrigerator was a Kenmore and lasted for twenty-five years with no significant problems.

We bought the Samsung double oven glass top electric range in January 2016
We bought the Samsung double oven glass top electric range in January 2016 for a bargain basement price of $1719, plus tax. Because they discontinued basic black we had to get the black stainless. In November, while wiping the upper oven door with a damp cloth some of the black stainless finish peeled off. I called Samsung Customer Service, if you want to call it that. They asked me to send a picture of the damage. They got back to me and called it consumer wear. I said, no its a defective finish. We went back and forth and finally, on December 5th they called me back and said its cosmetic and not covered. I said, the finish failed, and am I supposed to look at this for the next 8 years. They said I can get it fixed myself. In addition, the oven racks are so flimsy that when I had a 15 pound turkey in the oven the rack collapsed. Fortunately the other rack was right below and I was able to fix it. You have to remember to keep the pan in the center of the rack. Dealing with Samsung is worse than dealing with the VA. I will never buy another Samsung appliance. After reading the other reviews, Im really looking forward to some of the other problems I can have.

In July 2016, I purchased a Samsung bundle which consisted of a refrigerator Model #RF28HMEDBBC, stove #NX58K3310SB/AA, microwave #ME16K3000AB & dishwasher #DW80J3020UB from Best Buy. I am totally happy with the services that I have received from Best Buy & the Geek Squad, however, I am so dissatisfied with the Samsung appliances. In 7/2018, the ice maker went out (Samsung provides no services!!!). I was told that the ice maker was not properly sealed & the Geek Squad replaced the ice maker. Then 10/2018, brown rust started to form on the bottom corners of the water shoot. The Geek Squad had to replace the entire door. 12/2018, the trim at the base of the oven door (which was glued on) came apart & the Geek Squad had to come back out & reattach it. And now, 12/18/18, as I was cooking dinner & steam was coming from the pot with vegetables (which is a normal thing) in it on the back burn, the stove’s back (oven, timer, & clock is located) started to discolor (my appliances are black!!). So now I have this spot on my stove. I was going to purchase the black Samsung washer & dryer, but after what I’ve experience with the kitchen appliances, there’s no way under the sun I’m going to purchase their washer & dryer. So dissatisfied with my Samsung appliances!

This refrigerator (Samsung French Door Refrigerator) is a huge disappointment. Both the refrigerator and freezer have frozen up. The ice maker no longer works. Many technicians refuse to work on Samsung appliances because they can’t be sure that they can even be repaired. I’ve had this refrigerator for less than 3 years. We moved into a new house and decided to replace the appliances. We read the reviews, thank you for the people who do this. It helps, and saw Samsung got terrible reviews on their dishwashers but nothing bad on the particular fridge we were interested in. There were no bad reviews because this fridge was newer and I dont think enough time passed for the problems to emerge. Model number RF28K9380SR, so we went for it, spent a good amount of money on it and months after we bought it (Brand New) we had big problems with the ice maker completely freezing over. We had the SAME parts break 5 times in less than one year. We have requested our money back or a completely new fridge. After weeks on the runaround and being told its under review we have gotten NOOOOO answers. We emailed and faxed in the repair logs. They have sent their own repairmen out and in less than 1 week it broke again. We are, to this exact day, sitting with an ice maker that has completely frozen over and shuts down. Called Samsung for the 6th time in two weeks to be told, its still under review. Not only is this Fridge an absolute waste of money, Samsung is a terrible company and could care less about customers. WE will NEVER EVER again buy a Samsung product. That goes for everything not just appliances.

Samsung refrigerator model #RS275ACWP purchased in December 2008: By 2012 it developed a leak at the freezers backplane. The leak caused the bottom drawer to seize up. Samsung recommended solution was to replace the backplane at a cost of hundreds of dollars. A handyman resealed the original backplane at a considerably lower cost. By 2013 the ice maker failed by producing too much ice. The ice box became locked up and water spilled into the interior, causing still more ice on the freezer shelves. The water even dribbles out of the ice shoot. The Samsung authorized technician stated that three parts need to be replaced at a cost of $450.

We upgraded to a stainless steel Samsung gas range two years ago. I loved it at first... it was pretty and new, however at the one year anniversary I noticed that the bottom pan of the oven was cracking and peeling. I contacted Samsung, but alas, we were one week out of warranty but they would be happy to send us a new part for 79.00 plus installation. I said “No thank you,” because I might have to order a number of these because they only last one year. Upon cleaning my stove about two months ago, I noticed that the knobs are all cracked and one is broken... the plastic shaft (that is painted to look like metal) all defective. Probably due to the fact that they are in metal knobs… attached to metal shaft and the exhaust from the oven is directly below the knobs. So! I called Samsung and received the usual mantra that the range is out of warranty, but they would be happy to send me some more to the tune of $55.00 per knob plus shipping. I was on the phone for at least 45 minutes, but receiving no satisfaction. THEN! I got call from customer service a week later, that they would indeed give me a one time warranty on the knobs and to expect them to come shortly. I was really happy and looking forward to the knobs arriving. Well... we are one month out from receiving the call that they would replace the knobs, so I called Samsung to follow up. After sitting on the phone for another 45 minutes, I was told that Customer Service had sent the order to the parts department and the parts department denied the claim. Of course, no one called or emailed me.So, they told me I could order new ones. No thank you! Two weeks ago I was going to bake an item, and my oven would not heat up. We purchased the extended warranty from (H.H. Gregg… who is currently out of business!) so I called the warranty company who sent out a service man who replaced the oven igniter. The service man told me that most ovens are made this way... the bottom plate chips and cracks... the knobs break and crack... and to be on the watch for the convection fan because that will be the next thing. This range is just a piece of junk... NEVER, NEVER, NEVER purchase a Samsung appliance. We thought we were purchasing a quality appliance... guess the joke is on us!!

Its a gas stove with a blower in the oven, lets you air fry or roast, the only gripe I have with the unit is the stove top. The four burners arent regulated properly, they stay on high through 2/3 of the knob rotation making it difficult to get the exact temp youre looking for and the center burner that comes with a grill takes forever to heat up. In looking over customer complaints about the same model I guess it’s a real common problem. Some of the customers are saying that the brackets need to be replaced 2 OR 3 TIMES A YEAR, REALLY. How could this be, cant SAMSUNG come up with a QUALITY part that will last? HOPING I HEAR FROM SAMSUNG TOMORROW. I DONT understand why this model number cannot be flagged and the part just shipped without another 15 to 20 min on the phone. Sure hope they dont try to charge me for their poor choice in material and design. And I hope the part they do have to replace it with is not the same as the one that is breaking down. VERY UNHAPPY.

Here it is in a nutshell (a rather big nutshell)... I STRONGLY advise against purchasing a Samsung range (Samsung MODEL NE59J7630SW) for the following reasons... Purchased 01/15/2017, delivered 02/07/2017. We have been contacting Samsung for service since October with no success. We have now been WITHOUT A WORKING RANGE FOR OVER A MONTH. The so-called SERVICE and WARRANTY for this appliance is a joke (See below). We have not used the stove as Samsung instructed for over a month.Weve spent $100s of dollars eating out and can only can eat cold sandwiches at home. We also had to cancel our Christmas gathering that weve had for 15 years due to this on-going problem. Samsung now says they dont have ANYONE to service our area and were promised a full REFUND (still waiting for it). We bought it at HOME DEPOT. So that you can fully understand our frustration, heres a log of how weve tried to resolve this...10/16 - Called for service - Hot element light stays on continuously (NO CALLBACK OR RESPONSE). 11/06 - I burned my hand because I didnt know the element was actually HOT! 12/01 - Called again (ticket **) Stove-top cracked (Tech to call with service date, NO CALL RECEIVED). 12/07 - Received email from Samsung - CANCELLED TICKET/SERVICE CALL??? 12/07 - Called Home Depot appliance manager (said to try again, let him know if not resolved).12/14 - EMAIL from Samsung (new ticket **) - Appointment made for 12/18 (NEVER SHOWED). 12/18 - No one showed up. A week ago, I used the broil setting on my newly installed Samsung Double Wall Oven. Within 5 minutes, the oven reported Overheating and a C-21 error. The oven was VERY hot. Of course, I immediately called support since the oven was under warranty and only a little more than a month old. It took a week to get service from Samsungs authorized repair team - Dish.com. I was dubious when the service person started looking up repair instructions on his phone. (Only one arrived for something I knew would require removing the 265 lb. oven) After reading the repair instructions for a while, he decided he would need help in removing the oven and called for a second person. After arrival, they proceeded to remove the oven. The stand they set up to support the oven wasnt secured and I watched as they dropped the oven on the floor and it proceeded to tip over and put multiple dents and scratches in the new Samsung refrigerator. So now I have a damaged refrigerator that up to this time was 100% scratch free. Once they replaced the control board (which is a part that shouldnt fail in less than a month), they started reinstallation. While reinstalling the doors that have to be removed to pull the unit out - they dropped the upper oven door. It landed on the latch of the lower oven bending the latch, so the oven wont close. Of course, in the process, the oven door finish was chipped. Not just scratched but chipped down to raw metal. This is all not to mention the dent in the floor and paint/drywall damage. So now going on the second week - I still have an unusable oven and the bonus of a damaged refrigerator. They tell me it will take 3 days to get someone out to look at the damage. No indication of when itll be made whole. As an architect and Director of Design with over 750 luxury apartment units on the drawing board right now - I wont be specifying Samsung appliances.

My most recent item is a fridge freezer 600 liter. Just out of warranty my fridge temperature kept going up. I rang Samsung and they were very good and helpful. The mechanic came out to fix the problem. He said that he had come across this problem before and that they have fixed the problem with newer models. 10 months later my power safety switch kept tripping out after the electrician and I spent hours trying to find the source of the problem and found it to be the fridge. I have had other Samsung products and have had problems. I would never buy or have another Samsung product.

Bought range (MODEL FTQ 353IWUX-XAA) & 5 other Samsung appliances May 30, 2011 at Lowes in Belmont, NC. While at home, range started making noises smoking from back control panel July 2013 - like blew up - tried to contact Samsung even though out of warranty. They were slow to respond. Finally set up service through them - $90. Technician said this is a common occurrence with this model - they will repair for $400. Going online for reviews, this is happening frequently with this model. Samsung knows of this defect but will not help...

Samsung Refrigerator RF32FMQDBSR problems - After a year I noticed the ice
Samsung Refrigerator RF32FMQDBSR problems - After a year I noticed the ice maker bin getting harder and harder to remove and finally it froze up so solid it took 4 hours to thaw and remove the ice bin. It did this again within a month. After some researching I find this is a problem others are having also. Since that second thaw I have been removing ice build up under the ice bin weekly to keep it from freezing up again but its getting worse. It does this whether the ice maker is on or off. After watching this appliance for the last couple of months, I have concluded the drain line for the ice maker defrost has frozen up stopping the drain path of the ice maker defrost melt, which now overflows to under the ice bin and refreezes. This is an obvious bad design with no clear fix in sight. If I were to clear this drain line (dont know how) it will do it again in a year from buildup of ice. The other issue is that ice maker cannot dispense cubed ice, again poor design.

I bought a new kitchen refrigerator, stove, dishwasher and over the oven microwave. All Samsung. Do not buy this brand. I wish I would have read the reviews first. The ice maker started freezing up in the first year. We are into our second year and it still has to be defrosted every week. What a waste of money. You would think that Samsung would make this right for all the customers that have had this problem. I have family members that have the same issues same brand. Ready to take a loss and get a different brand.

Purchased a new Samsung oven, dishwasher and fridge combo from Best Buy. Within 4 months of owning the oven, used very little, the oven started having serious issues. The oven would take forever to heat up, have to put it on 500 degrees to get it to heat up to 350 degrees. When you opened the door to put anything in the oven it dropped about 200 degrees. Have to wait for it to heat up again. In the middle of baking time, the oven would drop its temperature. Other times it would heat above whatever you place the oven temp on. Went to Best Buy, they had to call Samsung. Was going to be on hold for over a half hour so left and placed the called myself. When I finally got a hold of Samsung, they said they had never heard of anything like this before happening. They sent out a tech. The tech determined the whole motherboard needed replaced. Three weeks later the motherboard arrived and a tech came out and installed. Havent had problems since however for the oven only being a few months old the motherboard should not have failed. The fridge is very loud and the freezer causes freezer burn on everything. I am glad that Samsung had no issues sending someone out to repair it at no charge however they need to look more into what is causing the issue. It ruined our Thanksgiving dinner!

4 years ago this month, we purchased over $5k in Samsung appliances for our new home... To date, we have had the ice maker repaired (or should I say a band aid was put on) 6 times!!! Our microwave does not vent any air, our dishwasher goes into OE error at least twice a week and our oven doesnt self clean, it doesnt clean at all! I think Samsung is trying to make us all nuts ! Ive never seen so many complaints about a fridge ice maker in my life... And its been happening for years and over these past few years Samsung is benefiting by gauging us poor consumers who need to pay for repairs because who can afford to replace all these appliances after only a few years ? There has to be something done, its not fair ! How can this be legal, years and years of complaints by hundreds of consumers and nothing is done ? Shame on you Samsung and NEVER EVER AGAIN...

Our Samsung RF220N refrigerator was delivered by Best Buy in May 2014. It failed in August 2018. It is now February 2019, and we are into month 6 of the warranty process, without satisfaction. Samsung Authorized repair people determined that the sealed refrigeration system had failed. This was 4 years and 4 months into the 5-year warranty for the closed system. The authorized repair people tried 4 times to repair the system with OEM parts. Each time it has failed within 36 hours. One set of OEM parts from Samsung arrived already broken inside the shipping box. The authorized service company has declared the refrigerator not-repairable using Samsungs own process, yet Samsung will not authorize a replacement or reimbursement, as provided by their own warranty.Samsung Customer Service prevaricates, obfuscates, misdirects, and does not return promised calls/texts/emails. They regularly deny my fridge is under warranty, despite my repeated submission of documentation. I have never spoken to the same person twice, and I suspect they use pseudonyms so contact info can be lost. They deny receiving my emails, and texts, and routinely claim that the last Customer Service person I talked to did not make any notes in the file. They have changed my claim ticket number 8 times. By the bye, the current number is in the 5 billion, 120 millions. That is over 16 claim numbers for every person in the US. At 8 numbers Ive fallen behind the national average. I suspect Samsung is delaying my claim until the warranty period has expired, and then they will deny all responsibility whatsoever. Our extended family has had several other Samsung devices fail: clothes washer, clothes dryer & DVD player. Need I mention the flammable self-combusting cell phones? Fortunately we never had the ice maker in this fridge connected to our plumbing, or we would likely have been in the claims process after only 1 year. Maybe we were unfortunate in that we might have ditched this faulty device long ago. I sincerely believe that a $1500 refrigerator should last longer than my electric toothbrush. We will never buy another Samsung product (yes, we are slow learners). Nevertheless, Never Again.

I purchased a Refrigerator for over $3000.00, the entire CHEF collection for over $7000.00 thinking I was buying high quality appliances. Instead I get an Ice Maker that wont work and was told by the repairman it was due to the higher water pressure in the US. I have to keep defrosting it with my hairdryer. It is already cracked. The microwave wont respond to my finger on the controls unless I hold it flat not my fingertip. Part of the name has come off the dishwasher. Bought this from SEARS just before Christmas around December 22 of 2010 to match the Samsung Stove that I bought for the new home that we had just moved into. Looked great and I was very pleased until it stopped working on Jan. 4th of 2012 (approximately). Throwing the error code SE and unplugging it and re-plugging it back in would allow it to work for maybe 5 minutes. I was so upset when I called Sears and they wouldnt even entertain the idea of coming out to service it unless I wanted to pay for the service call and whatever the problem was to fix. I realize that there is only a 1-year warranty on the microwave, but come on! It stopped working 2 weeks past the 1-year warranty end. Whatever happened to standing by what you sell? Its a shame that most of these products are made overseas and so cheaply and then sold for way more than they are worth. Its obvious to me that Samsung products are pretty much pieces of crap that arent even worth looking at. I encourage anyone considering one of their products to think twice. I am a very unhappy consumer and will tell everyone that I know to not even consider any product manufactured by Samsung. Yes, I could have purchased an extended warranty but come on people, 54 weeks an appliance works before breaking down and needing repair? That is absolutely absurd. I pretty much told Sears that they lost a customer and anyone else that I knew too. No wonder they are going out of business! They have terrible customer service and dont give a damn about the consumer. I had an independent service company come out to take a look, who, by the way did not charge me for the service call, as I had explained the situation to them. He checked it out and told me the motherboard would have to be replaced and that it would cost almost as much as I paid for the microwave in the first place. How disappointing that I have been sitting here with a microwave for the past 2 years that doesnt work because I dont exactly have the luxury of being able to just go out and purchase a new one every year or two. Im furious at Samsung for manufacturing such a substandard product and then knowing that it has problems, refused to do any kind of recall or offer to repair at no charge and also SEARS for being so not standing behind what they sell. Cheap labor = cheap materials = cheap products. Truly disgusting!

I brought the Samsung french door refrigerator in 2016. Not even a year later, the ice maker froze up and started making noises. Lowes came and fix it and told us that its not going to have any more problems. Unfortunately, it had the same problem five more times in three years. When I call Lowes to complain, the supervisor was so rude and told me to buy bags of ice to solve my problem. June of 2014 we purchased a Samsung refrigerator model# RS261MDRS/XAA. As soon as it was delivered and installed we left for vacation for 3 months. When we returned, a corrosive stain was on the water dispenser that cannot be removed. We did not even hook up water supply so it was not caused by water. Contacted Samsung, they sent out a service tech to look at the issue. Samsung concluded it was a COSMETIC ISSUE. As of now after many calls to Samsung they stick to their conclusion. So I have a brand new damaged refrigerator caused by a defect in manufacturing. This substance is like a acid that came from above and ate the plastic insert. There is no way in this world that this issue was caused by the consumer. Where I stand now is if I call service on this issue it would be at my expense. Hands are tied on a cosmetic issue. SAMSUNG, you need to listen to the consumer instead of text book notes.

I have had this stove for 4 years and have been using it according to guidelines. As I explained to the service company personnel Abigael as well as Lowes repair person Keaton, no physical damage was done to the stove glass top; however they still refused to do the repair. In 2010 I purchased five Samsung appliances with a five-year extended warranty. Shortly after the first year every one of the appliances had issues. I emailed Samsung and they did not even have the courtesy to reply. The stove had so many replacement parts, it was practically a rebuilt and finally deemed a lemon by Samsung. The dishwasher never cleaned well from the start despite following all the guidelines, had major parts replaced and finally stopped working all together. It was deemed a lemon and replaced. The fridge had water pooling in and under a crisper. That problem was fixed after three service calls and now it is doing the same thing. The washer stopped dispensing hot water and had major parts replaced. The dryer element burned out right after one year and then the door started having trouble staying closed. The dryer was less than three years old and Samsung could not supply a replacement door. The dishwasher was finally replaced with a new one and is nowhere near the quality of the first model. It will be a year old in June and is already having cleaning issues. The stove and dryer were three years old on an extended warranty when Samsung offered a buy out. I assumed that meant they would be paying enough money to replace the appliances. After all, the warranty states they would fix or replace defective appliances. That was not the case. The buyout fell short of actually being able to replace the same items. Dont fall for that song and dance. I thought I was buying a good name and good quality with Samsung. I was not.

Purchased a Samsung Dishwasher around November, just installed 2 weeks ago in my remodeled kitchen. It has quit. Samsung has been of no help whatsoever except tell me that I need to call the repair people they have coming out to fix it. I called the repair people since I had not heard from them about when it would be repaired after 2 days of waiting. They inform me that they will be out on 4/29 to fix it. Mind you it was the 17th of April. They dont have anything sooner. This is ridiculous since the thing shouldnt be broke to begin with! My husband and I purchased a whole kitchen full of new Samsung appliances and one already broke. WOW! Next, I called Samsung back to see if there was a different repair company that could come out. They informed me that that is the best we can do. I became even more angry since a 2 week old dishwasher shouldnt be broke to begin with. Lowes has tried to be more helpful than Samsung by checking in to see if they could do anything. When the repair person comes out I am sure that it will be another week at least having to wait on parts. Samsung should take this piece of crap back and allow me to pick another brand. I WILL NOT purchase another Samsung product after this! They dont care. I purchased their product and am now stuck. Buyer Beware!!!
