So, I purchase my house in May with all new appliances. I notice from the get-go that the refrig. didnt seem to cool enough for my taste. I thought it was just me, but by the end of May I was already having more issues with the refrigerator. The fan was making a horrible sound. By the time the tech showed up which was over a week later. The fan had stopped working and I had to get rid of all the food. He replaced the sensor and water line. It has now been a week since then and my fan is starting to make the sound again. I called the tech because his phone number was on the receipt he left me. He told me that I had to go back to Samsung and start the process all over. So, that means all my food will spoil again! Do not buy this refrigerator!

Water accumulates in veggie & fruit drawers which has to be poured out daily several times. Water also accumulates under the drawer. If not taken care of daily, Im sure it would eventually get out of the refrigerator and onto the floor. I had it repaired last October 2015 at a cost of $400. Two small parts were replaced which I looked up and only cost together under $20. The repair took less than 15 minutes once the food was removed. Now it s doing the exact same thing, months later and the company says it cannot do anything about it.

Bought a Samsung refrigerator last November. It crapped out on us three times. It stopped cooling and freezing but sounded like it was working, light and compartment temperatures showing. Got an exchange week ago and it is doing the same thing. Service looked at the old unit twice and said there was nothing they could do. Samsung may make good TV’s but their appliances are POS. DO NOT BUY. Nothing but trouble.

I purchased a refrigerator for my daughters first home. A little pricey, but due to the Samsung name, I made the investment. 2 weeks after it was received, it was no longer cooling or freezing. There was over $300 in groceries that went to waste, and it took us 3 days just to get someone on the phone to schedule a service call. When someone came out to service, they said there is a new cooling system in the refrigerator and no one at their company is trained to fix it. After contacting Samsung again, they stated there is, in fact, no one in the entire geographic area who can fix it. After 2 hours on hold, they agreed to exchange, which they state is a process, and that process will take up to 5 business days. Then, we have to wait on shipment and set up. So, they have nearly $2000 for a refrigerator that has sat idle more than it has worked, and we are out an additional $300 in food. When I asked for a more immediate resolution- like a refund- I was told they could not resolve the issue today due to their process. I requested to speak with someone who COULD resolve my issue today and waited on hold another 1/2 hour. I was told the manager would call me back within 24 hours. I doubt it.... Moving on to the AG and BBB.

We purchased this dishwasher ( DMR 77) 4.5 years ago from Leons when we renovated out kitchen. After 6 months the heater went but it was still under warranty. Last week the circuit board died! Our appliance technician informed us it was kaput! Really!! After 4.5 years! We baby our dishwasher and always ensure the dishes are well rinsed before going in and we dont abuse our appliances! My former dishwasher which is a vibrant 15 year old + non-Samsung continues to run beautifully in our neighbors kitchen! Shame on Samsung for making such a poor quality product! Now we will have to further overload out landfills with another poorly constructed appliance! In addition, at the time of our kitchen reno we did also purchase an over the stove microwave which died after 3.5 years! Luckily we did have the extended warranty so it was replaced. But during the install one of the supporting screw brackets fell straight into the microwave. We had to get creative to ensure it was well support but my poor kitchen cabinetry has taken a beating! I will never purchase Samsung again! Buyer beware!!!!

I purchased model # NE595ROABSR. When the oven is on 425, the front lip of the stove is scalding hot. Service Company came out 3x. The temperature on the outside read 227 degrees. The technician said he has never had this issue before. After consulting with Samsung, they determined that there is Nothing Malfunctioning. Really! When the oven is on, you cant touch the front lip of the stove or you will burn your hand as I did. Remember that the technician is being paid by Samsung. They will hear from my attorney next.

My 3 year old over-the-range Samsung microwave displayed an -SE- error while beeping several weeks ago. I unplugged/replugged the oven and all was well. It started doing it again today but would not go away this time after I unplugged/replugged. I cleaned the sensor at the top inside center of the oven with a Q-Tip and 91% Isopropyl alcohol and it is working again. Dont know if its a semi-permanent fix or not since it just happened today. Ive enjoyed using this oven and have had no other issues.

This is an update to my previous post on my 3 and 1/2 year old fridge that quit working. I filled out a form from the Samsung site on the issue with the fridge and got a stock *received* form type letter back on the 18th. There was no mention of repairs, how to handle the problem, or if they were going to do anything. When I was on their website, it said the fridge was out of warranty and when I searched for appliance repair dealers, I got 0 results back. After reading pages of complaints all over the web with the same issues (bad ice makers, and the cooling issue), we decided we would not throw good money after bad in trying to fix it. We bought a new top rated GE (which will be delivered next month as we wanted a very specific model) and on 12-23, Lowes hauled the broken Samsung off (to the dump I guess). After the fridge was gone, later that evening, we get a UPS delivery of an envelope with a generic return address. We have no idea who sent it, instructions, nothing but a part; a temperature sensor that plugged into something. So I google the address and find its a Sears warehouse. I call them and they look up the order number and say its a Samsung part. So, I get a temp sensor, no idea it was even being sent from Samsung who when I look at my account online with my complaint, says the action was cancelled by **me** on 12-18. To say this whole thing has been frustrating is a big understatement. In fact, I am not sure a new sensor would have even fixed the problem from what I have been reading all over the internet.

My husband bought me a fridge for Christmas. I was so excited. We waited 6 weeks for it to get here, only to find out it didnt work! We did everything the manual told us to do and called the rep. The repair guy came out, looked at it, said it wasnt our fault, that we did nothing wrong and they would replace it no problem! After weeks of waiting, I called Samsung back only to be told they were doing nothing! The repair guy told them we laid it on its side (which is not true) and said that it was our fault the fridge didnt work! They blamed Canex, they blamed us, but held firm that it was not their fault and they are going to do nothing. So now I am left with a $1,700 paperweight! Dont waste your money. They treat people horribly and it will be a nightmare of an experience!

Love the convection oven, but the glass cook top is horrible. You can not regulate the heat. Its always very hot and the knobs turn on super easy. If you barely bump one then you end up melting something or getting burned because you dont realize it came on. Very hard to clean the top and cannot get stains or heat marks off of it.

In good faith we purchased a Samsung refrigerator in June 2013 from Home Depot. We purchased the extended warranty - we have had use this warranty for repairs over 10 times in under 5 years. On May 5 2018 the entire cooling system failed. I lost a ton of food and had to eat out every day. The repair guy fixed / replaced the cooling system on May 14 2018. Just for the cooling system to fail again on June 1 2018 less than 2 weeks after the fix / repair - this has left me with no freezer and no refrigerator - this unit is now deemed irreparable (it is a sitting duck not working) and I am now left with no way to keep anything cold or frozen while your process takes its sweet time. I have lost over $1000 worth of food and this is not even taking into account the food I need to buy each day for my family just to live, as I cannot keep anything cool or frozen!I was told I need to wait 10-12 days before an RMA is issued from June 5th 2018 - how long after that will it take to get an actual unit! This means I am now 2 months without any way to keep fresh food. I am beyond frustrated. I called today your company on 6/12/2018 just to be told I will receive a refurbished one. Well isnt my new one that was repaired on May 14 2018 considered refurbished? I do not want a refurbished unit. This is so unacceptable as we are suffering not the paper pushers and the approvers. Why does this process take so long? We are out $100 and $100 of dollars in food that we dont have the money to spend so that just means we are going into debt for this hassle. I feel I am being held hostage by your company and slowness to respond. This has been a horrible year with family deaths and now I have to deal with this situation. I have a medical dog who can only eat fresh food due to kidney failure as kibble is too drying for her. So the stress of keeping her alive without cooling is horrid.

Youve heard the phrase, Let the buyer beware? Well, if youre reading this post and all the others like it in anticipation of purchasing a refrigerator, I would STRONGLY advise you to take heed! This refrigerator is a poorly designed, sub-standard product (in fact, so sub-standard it would have to climb a mountain just to get to a minimum-acceptable-proficiency level...). Mine has only been in use for 2 1/2 years, and weve had multiple issues, including most of the ones discussed in previous reviews. Currently, it has power, but neither the refrigerator nor freezer is working at all. Dealing with Samsung is difficult, as other reviewers have stated, and Ive been without a functioning fridge/freezer for 12 days. Mine is the French door model with the additional drawer and the ice-maker. I thought I had done my homework before I purchased this refrigerator, but clearly I did not research enough.Perhaps the fact that the most reputable appliance dealers in our town dont carry Samsung should have been a clue! If you are planning to purchase a new refrigerator, I hope you learn from my mistake and avoid Samsung. If not, you will likely soon find yourself unhappily a member of the ripped-off Samsung-appliance-owner family!

I cant imagine anyone that actually uses a dishwasher designing this one! The racks are awful. The top one will not hold wine glasses or any with a stem without falling over. The bottom wont hold more than 2 bowls, without giving up space for plates. And no way can I put pans in the bottom. They just wont fit. All of those have to be on the top with all of the glasses and cups. No room for both! I have had a bunch of dishwashers, starting in the 60s. Never have I had one that is so poorly designed. From the complaints I have read I guess Im lucky it still works! I am so disappointed but I guess Im stuck with it. To be fair we did buy our second Samsung French door fridge and love it. Otherwise nothing major, just an annoyance, but it was pricey and it should work a little better.

No oven. No stove. Wires attached to the back of the oven, melted. Plastic on the terminal block melted. This is DANGEROUS and deserves immediate attention. Do NOT buy Samsung. Thats my advice. We have had a Samsung refrigerator with French doors and all the bells and whistles for 4 years. During that time we have had 3 major issues, first with a lead into the bottom of the refrigerator and now the ice compartment freezes up and has to be unfrozen with a hair dryers, AND, worse, the fan motor freezes up and the refrigerator makes a horrible unbearably sound until I thaw out the ice in the back of the refrigerator again with a hair dryer. Only then does it decide whether or not the refrigerator part will keep cooling--usually it takes a few hours. We have had it with Samsung. Each time we called Samsung and it took a week for them even to call back, and then to tell us they didnt have a service person in our area. We are getting rid of this refrigerator. We had it for four years at our second home, so that we only used it 6 months each year. We did not get the extended warranty because we were warned by locals that we would have to wait weeks for service by Samsung even with a warranty. Looks like they were right. If you look online, youll see many consumers have had the same problems.

The dishwasher failed the first time last year in April, 17. We were on vacation... Kids shut off machine and shut off breaker in electric panel as noise would not stop. I came home and tried machine and it worked fine. Used machine normally for a few washes and the LE error occurred. This has happened every week since. Local repair companies do not want to come and fix it... Same comment... Its a Samsung... No thanks! (Universal and Totem Appliance Repair). Went online and found weird solutions due to moisture issue around motor which causes the LE error and unit to fail. Need to leave machine off with Electric Breaker off as well. Needs to be off for several days and up to a week!!! Sometimes as is this week. Very frustrating as The Brick (now Leons owned) sold us this unit after our original purchase of a Brick House model failed after three months of use. No refund but had store credit to purchase another unit. We bought the Samsung as it seemed to have the best features... Top rack... water wall... ultra quiet etc. Pretty useless features when you cant use the machine for days and weeks at a time!!! After having A Maytag for 14 years with no issues till a recall issue had a service tech ruin the machine. We then purchased the new model Samsung DW80H993 SERIES. The 5 Year Warranty sold us... So much for that. Never again. With no support from Samsung locally and authorized dealers that will not come out fix the problem as it is a design flaw I will buy other models.

I purchased my Samsung Refrigerator RM255LASH from Lowes on Christmas Eve (the only place open with a refrigerator we could take that day). It was the last one and a floor model, but we had no choice. Also, the price was $2,100, which is quite high for a refrigerator but again we had no choice. After three years, the icemaker stopped making ice. We did not do anything about it. Then it started leaking water but again we did not do anything about. I thought it had something to do with the icemaker. Then the freezer stopped freezing. Again, I procrastinated and did not call Samsung. In January of this year, it started making a horrible noise and stopped getting cold. At this point, I contacted Samsung because there are no local appliance repairmen willing to come and look at a Samsung refrigerator. There are no parts available to them. I had someone Samsung recommended to come out and look at it. Its something that should be covered by the five-year warranty. I was assured by two people at Samsung that they would take care of it even though I could not produce a receipt (my Lowes receipt was completely faded). Now after three months of going back and forth between the appliance repair company and Samsung, they said they will not cover it unless I produce a receipt. After reading the many complaints about Samsung refrigerators, it seems to be the norm that they do not last for more than 3-4 years. They are overpriced and inferior products. I would warn people not to buy Samsung because of all of the above and also their poor customer service.

Our Samsung refrigerator completely stopped working 18 months after purchase. French doors with bottom freezer. No in-door ice or water. Trying to keep it simple to avoid issues. Main warranty is only one year, thanks, but other certain items covered longer. Good luck dealing with Samsung. They will set up service, but it will take two days for the service company to even contact you and then who knows how long to actually schedule appointment, and then both companies they have set up to come to our home - because the first one lied and said I cancelled appointment due to cost -- are the most poorly rated of any kind of company I have ever looked at online.I rely on online reviews, but have never felt so compelled to post until now. I am very disappointed with quality of Samsung and now see that many others are too. I have scheduled a separate service company to come out, after already paying out of pocket for another, and will probably just end up paying them to repair instead of fighting with Samsung about warranty; that is if they even can repair. I will be doing a complete remodel on another house soon and will not buy any Samsung appliance again.

We purchased dishwasher. Sent in warranty card. The left side wall of stainless steel welding came loose so the unit tray would not move in and out to put or remove dishes. This part has a lifetime warranty. I have Samsung paperwork to prove it from their website. After two factory damaged replacement parts were sent to our home which were unable to be used to replace lifetime warranties part Samsung would not send any additional parts to my home. The repair service A&E confirms this part was manufactured in 2011 and the part has a lifetime warranty. They cannot help me further until Samsung sends a good repair part to my home. Which Samsung has not done. I assume they do not have a good repair drum to sent as a replacement. After more than 10 calls to Samsung about replacement and repair part, I called to resolve this issue but consumer department would no long take my complaint or send me to executive customer service. This started in April 2016 and my last call was on June 8, 2016. They stated they cannot help me further or escalate my call to anyone that could help. I am a senior citizen and just want Samsung to send me refund $813.00 for the warrantied part they cannot or do not have to repair the unit so we can replace the unit. I will not replace the unit with a Samsung if this is how they treat their consumers.

If you are like me and really like Samsung televisions, dont be foolish and expect the same quality from their kitchen appliances. I purchased an electric range and it is so lacking in every respect. Foremost, the oven burns so hot, every dish burns on the bottom and ALL BAKING is ruined. Its hot temperatures do not correlate to those of the recipes forcing you to remove it ten minutes before the suggested recipe temperature. Even then, the result is a dry brownie or cake... In other words, it overlooks everything. After calling Samsung they threatened me with the fact that if a man comes here and finds it is not a technical problem of the stove, I will be charged. So much for their guarantee and quality. DONT BUY SAMSUNG KITCHEN APPLIANCES. BUY AMERICAN PRODUCTS... They at least know how to bake a brownie like my former stove by Frigidaire. We have had a recurring problem with water that turns to ice in our crisper
We have had a recurring problem with water that turns to ice in our crisper drawers. In the past month we have had 5 technicians come out all say the same thing, the drain line gets clogged and frozen causing water to overflow into and below the crisper drawers. The fix according to Samsung was replacing the back panel of the fridge, the evaporator panel I believe. We replaced that, in less than two weeks, we had water back in the drawers. Luckily we bought the extended warranty through Lowes but had spoken to a representative at the store that suggest we call Samsung directly. I tried that tonight, after two hours on the phone, I was asked what I expected them to do. Our unit was out of warranty (its three years old), and according to them this is not a known problem whatsoever. In fact, they even told me that there was NO record of this being reported to them at all. Even after explaining to them that I had found multiple reports of the same issue, and even on their own website have found consumers asking why they are having this exact problem was still told there was nothing they could do but CHARGE me for a service call to come and take a look at the unit. After this experience, I will no longer be purchasing any Samsung Appliances and will strongly influence any family and friends from doing so as well. Their customer service is not up to par and it’s apparent that they don’t really stand behind their product or the consumer that purchases their product! No working fridge for 4 months and counting. I purchased the Samsung 22.3 Cu Ft counter deep Side-by-side refrigerator with thru the door ice and water - stainless steel. Model RS22HDHPNSR on March 21st, 2015. This fridge was to be the center piece of my kitchen renovation. It was my one big shiny splurge, costing me $2100. My fridge worked fine from March 2015 until November 2016, when it stopped compressing cold air. Since the parts were still under warranty Samsung agreed to have technicians from A&E electrical come to my home in Northern California SIX times over a period of FOUR months to replace the compressor, a 4-way valve and a motherboard. They have also reduced the pressure on something and then the next time increased the pressure on that same part. According to my calculations Samsung has paid over $1400 to fix my fridge, which is inefficient for this company and extremely frustrating and time-consuming for me. Each time a technician comes to my home they try to fix it and they cant. When a technician does come to my home it is not trivial. I have to take time away from work and wait for them to arrive over a 4 hour period (9 am to 1 pm or 1 pm to 5 pm). There have been two occasions when the technician had to reschedule because he had overbooked his schedule and one occasion when the technician just didnt turn up and didnt even call to reschedule. When the technician does actually turn up and has attempted to fix my fridge and failed, I immediately call Samsung and then have to explain my situation all over again. I then have to wait for another 2-3 weeks before a technician can come out again. And then the same thing happens all over again! Im at the point now where I have had the fridge finally deemed as unrepairable by a technician and have sent in my proof of purchase and the technicians report to executive customer services by email. Ive also threatened to take legal action if I am not compensated immediately because 4 months without a fridge and two young boys is physically and mentally quite miserable. For me $2100 is just too much money to throw away so I have no choice but to keep fighting this corrupt company. I am very disappointed that Samsung customer service have threaded me along for so long.

This service request on a new fridge was a nightmare. Thier service company OMB/friends tek is so unprofessional. They called me to schedule time. Hung up on me the first time. They did not call back, but put in notes that I hung up on them. When I called back, waited on hold 45 mins. Then was disconnected. Called back. Waited 30 more minutes. They pressed que to leave a message. I got a message that voicemail was full and told me to try my call later. They tried again to call me 2 days later. I called right back and went through the same scenario. 3rd time they called, I answered and was able to s he duke a service call 1 week later. This whole time I have been calling Samsung customer service with no resolution. They in fact, said they also could not get through to the repair vendor and I should keep trying.Day of appointment- I get a text from Tech telling me he will be there in 4 hour window. I asked if he had a slide protector for the floor (which is standard issue for appliance delivery and repair, and what the installers used). He said no. He told me if to have the fridge moved out away from cabinet before he got here. I advised I could not do that as it was too heavy. He advised me to reach out to place I purchased as he would not move. He only replaces parts or repairs. I contacted Samsung, who again could not help and advised me to contact Home Depot.I contacted Home Depot and explained the situation. They sent out a manager with slide pads and he moved fridge out and placed slide pads under the fridge. Repair tech came out. He showed up in an unmarked personal vehicle with another man with no uniform. How unprofessional. All he wanted to talk about was how he was not going to be responsible for property damage. We determined what the issue was, which turned out to be an installation issue. We also purchased a dishwasher with this fridge. We spent over $4000 and this has been one of the worst experiences I have had with a purchase. Samsungs failure to respond appropriately and ongoing issues with this vendor(as referenced in online reviews) will cause me to never buy a Samsung product again (we also have 2 Samsung TV’s).

From the day it was installed about a year ago, it leaks badly under the door during the first cycle. It never cleans the dishes well and always leaves funk all over for me to scrape off after. I might as well hand wash! Now the unit will not complete cycle. I have taken it apart a zillion times to clean and inspect. What a piece of **. Locally we have a tire store called Discount Tire. In their TV ad they show a little old lady throwing a tire through their front window and the ad says if youre not satisfied.... bring it back. I wonder what it would sound like when I throw this dishwasher through Lowes front window?

The ice maker is a standard size and tends to produce ice adequately. HOWEVER, BE WARNED that Samsung ice makers are very poor quality. They tend to dispense crushed ice even when you dont want it. They definitely dispense broken bits of cubes constantly. I have contacted Samsung about this issue and their attitude is well, thats just the way it is, too bad. Its a shame that a $3,000 refrigerator comes with such an inferior ice maker and even a bigger shame that Samsung thinks its okay to sell you a fridge that spits ice in your floor every time you use it. Their customer service department said that if they send a technician out to look at it they will bill me because they dont consider this a defect. Huh?? Be informed before you buy a Samsung product.

Our Samsung Refrigerator was purchased from Lowes and was highly recommended by Lowes and another appliance center in the area. Our refrigerator has broken down 3 times in 4 years which is a horrible record. I have a cheap Kirkland 2nd refrigerator that I have had for almost 20 years and never had broken down one time. Expensive is not always better! Samsung sent us a repair company which then goes out of business and will not recommend and now gives us a 2nd repair company. That repair company tech only knew how to take out screws of a cover and had to be on phone being stepped through how to do diagnostics on refrigerator, only to tell me a 2nd time that power circuit board needs replaced and will be another week. The circuit board is obviously is defective and not covered under 5-year warranty by Samsung. I will not buy anymore Samsung products. A few years ago, my highly touted Samsung Flat Screen TV had defective parts and fortunately Costco stood behind the product. No more Samsung TVs either!

My experience mirrors one submitted by James. Same model dw7933LRASR. Difference is I had terrible customer service and they managed to dawdle until warranty ran out and will do nothing now. The washer will NOT clean even a plate that has been well rinsed with no dried on residue, nor a glass that contained milk but has been rinsed out. It also will not dry dishes even on sanitize cycle and expensive rinse aides. Their solution for that was crack the door a bit as soon as cycle is complete. But that is a fairly moot point since half of contents have to be rewashed by hand. MANY Samsung products in my house including the phone in my hand which I love... but never ever will I trust Samsung again.

I called an authorized repairman and they have replaced the ice maker, ice bin, auger for ice maker, some kind of filter on the back and it is still the same. They now say I need 2 defroster 1 for the top and 1 for the freezer. I have already spent a lot of money on this sorry refrigerator. Omg, how I wish I had read the Consumer Affairs reviews before I bought my Samsung range. Consumer Reports DID not give it a bad review. I purchased all new appliances for my retirement home and price didnt matter. Love my Sears Elite Refrigerator and my Bosch dishwasher. However, I cannot say anything good about the Samsung slide-in electric glass cooktop! The glass top has several scratches beginning the first time I used it. It was installed the second week of March 2018 but wasn’t used until April because I was in Florida. This is my fourth cooktop. First was a Corning, second and third were General Electric. After using it for only two and one-half months I cannot believe the condition of the cooktop. The booklet says not to slide pans. I try not to, but of course you will slide a pan occasionally. I use the same cookware that I used on the others. I never had one scratch on any of my other three cooktops. Every time I use it I’m a nervous wreck worrying about scratching it. There is no reason to get another top because I do not want another Samsung. This is a very expensive mistake! And, I will be replacing it. I feel sorry for those who are stuck with their Samsungs because they can’t afford to replace them. Samsung ought to stick with televisions. I sure hope there is or will be a class action lawsuit. Extremely dissatisfied with Samsung range and it will be a relief to get rid of it!

I bought the Samsung slide in range because of its sleek look. However, the knobs and buttons on the front are extremely sensitive and the oven and range turned on accidentally all the time. One night while sleeping, the smoke detector went off. A towel lying on the range had caught fire and flames were everywhere. Trying to get the towel into the sink so my house didnt burn, I knocked a bottle off the counter that shattered the glass on the oven door. A technician for Samsung came to assess damage. He suggested I contact Samsung customer service. After multiple calls, I contacted them through their chat line. I was assured the situation would be taken care of, the existing ticket was escalated, and I was to be sent transcript of call. No transcript, nothing taken care of because product was not defective. The design certainly is defective and this product is not safe. Samsung is irresponsible. I had this stove 3 weeks.

Read all of the negative reviews on Samsung refrigerators. They all say the same thing.... Ice maker freezing up, water pooling in and under the meat and vegetable bends, water overflow on the floor, filter light will not go off. Dont just read what is said on this site... Go anywhere on the web. You will see nothing but the same negative reports. Samsung will not recall nor fix the problem. Samsung sent out a service memo to the companies who sell their refrigerator in June of 2015 advising them of existing problems with the refrigerator. Lowes sold me a Samsung refrigerator without telling me about the existing problems or the service memo. Samsung will not stand behind their product. The only way we, as consumers, can fight back is to boycott the company and the stores that sell their products. Consumers are fighting back... There is a class action law suit against Samsung over these faulty refrigerators. The stores who continue to sell Samsung products without telling the customer about existing problems should be sued also.

Purchased the Samsung NX58F5300ss/AA Gas Range in December of 2013 from Best Buy. They told to reset the circuit breaker in the house panel box and that would fix the problem. Needless to say, that didnt fix the problem. I called Samsung again, told them their fix did nothing. Samsung offered to setup an appointment for a service call but would not tell me what the service call would cost nor would they give me any information as to the probable problem could be.Based on other reviews, this error code of SE is a known problem but Samsung has not been helpful at all in trying to help me resolve the problem. I purchased Samsung Microwave SMH9207ST which comes with a 1 year warranty. The microwave was manufactured in February 2011, very moderately used, and owned for approximately 2.5 years. At 15 months, an internal piece of the handle broke, not allowing the door to close. I contacted Samsung who referred me to a repairman. For a repairman to assess the problem, order the parts needed, and install would have cost over $125 plus having to take time off of work without pay. I was able to quickly assess the problem, order 2 plastic interior door pieces (one extra) for $12 with shipping and reassemble the microwave in about 3 minutes. After 2.5 years the microwave completely stopped while cooking. I am very extremely disappointed in the quality of this product. I also own a Samsung Jr, manufactured in 1999, which has been used far more, even brought tent-camping and trips, and it is still working fine. I am now very reluctant to purchase a Samsung product. I plan to take this microwave apart to attempt to diagnosis the problem myself. In the meantime, I will continue to use the Samsung Jr until I have the resources to purchase a new microwave.

I originally bought a Samsung French Door Model # RFG297HDRS on 3/29/11. The refrigeration was great. I loved the capacity, style, and looks. One small problem was it was missing a tiny screw that held the bar in the freezer on track. The drawer would wobble when I pulled it open and then would fall off the track! After 4-5 service technicians who could never get the tiny screw replaced, Samsung replaced that refrigerator with another on 10/25/11. Now this refrigerator is a total lemon! I woke up at 3 a.m. one morning and my kitchen, hallway, bathroom, and family room were flooded because the water valve malfunctioned! The replacement refrigerator was less than 1 year old! I had it repaired under the manufacturers warranty. Now, on 3/24/12, the water valve and icemaker have gone out! Today the technician came to install the water valve, but guess what?! To install that valve, the water filter housing needs to be ordered and replaced also. Thank god I bought the 5-year extended warranty! All totaled, if I have to pay for the second water valve, it would cost me $766.26! To date, there have been repairs done, either under manufacturers or extended warranty, in the amount of $1,265.64! The replacement refrigerator was valued at $2,186.28! I have been without ice for over 3 weeks, and by the time that it will be up and working, it will be over 1 month! I would never recommend or buy a Samsung refrigerator ever again! I cant even stand looking at the thing, and I want it out of my house!

I have spoken to customer service at least 20 times. I have spent many hours on hold, and been disconnected at least 4 times. I have also been told is it approved for a replacement, but no one can ever seem to figure out how to get that commitment into the computer, so nothing ever happens. The customer service people are only able to type the problem into their computer, never to do anything to fix it. If I hear I understand one more time, Im going to kill someone. We purchased our Samsung RFG297AAWP French door refrigerator in June of 2009. When it was delivered and hooked up the freezer did not work. Three days later a new box was delivered and hooked up. About 2 years later the ice maker quit working and we discovered ice build up under the large deli drawer. We gave up on the ice maker because we knew that was a problem with a lot of refrigerators and started making ice in. We had a plumber come out and put a cutoff in the line to stop the water. He used a piercing type of cut off which did not work so still had water. Last week the freezer quit and we lost all the food. We had a repairman come out (Samsung recommended). He was quite good and only charged $40.00 but the bad news is that there are several computer boards on the back and after some research he found that other repair people had gone through the board changing and the freezer still did not work. We would have been out that expense and still no freezer. He would have changed out the boards for us but we still would have had the water problem in the fridge. It was 6 years old, and it was his belief that we had a blockage in the refrigerant in the freezer evaporator. The compressor was working fine for the evaporator for the refrigerator. Our last refrigerator was 10 years old, 6 years ago, and it is still going strong in my sisters basement where they use it to freeze their garden produce. I ordered a new refrigerator yesterday, not a Samsung and truly would not recommend Samsung refrigerators to anyone. I really cant believe that they are a refrigerator that is pushed by Best Buy, Lowes, Home Depot, etc.

After several phone calls & a visit from repairman on a $2800 refrig., about 7/12 year old machine, it has to be replaced. This is really disgusting because most people cant afford this kind of money every 7 years. I also have a Samsung in my garage as a back up with the freezer pull out drawer and I hate it. It is now freezing the food in the refrigerator part. Why cant these companies get their act together. I guess they think you will just go out and buy another of their products, but what they need to realize is people go to another company. Disgusted with Samsung.

Firstly, I wish I had read these Samsung stove reviews prior to my purchase. :( This stove got 4.5 stars on PC Richards site which is one of the reasons that I bought it. I purchased the Samsung NX58M6650W Gas Range in November of 2017. I purchased this stove solely for the price and way it looked as I am not a person that cooks a lot and barely do I use an oven. I was upgrading my kitchen and looking for a stainless steel stove to replace my old one. Its a very nice looking stove but obviously looks can be deceiving. After my 4th time using the oven, which was all day on Thanksgiving Day 2018, I noticed that the control panel was warped almost looking like it had melted. I called Samsung for repair and they gave me a courtesy extension my warranty (2 weeks out of warranty) and offered a free repair. In my eyes a barely used stove should not have any issues in just over 12 mos, but thats just me. I had my rinky Hotpoint Stove for 17 years and not ONE need for repair. Anyway the repairman came and fixed the stove. He replaced the old control panel which means removing around 20 screws un-wiring/detaching and re-wiring a new control panel. Also needs to be mentioned, the control panel on the stove is made of plastic! Now that can be a problem if your stove gets hot. Repair seemed successful but two days later, the timer isnt working. For reference, the timer is in the same place on the panel that warped after using the oven for several hours. Needless to say I am furious. Samsung insists on sending out another repairman, but I want this stove replaced (not with a Samsung if thats possible). If you read the reviews, you have no doubt that this stove is problematic in its design. I watched the repair, and with all the fine wiring on a plastic panel, how will there not be problems? Samsung has been giving me somewhat of a runaround and does not seem to stand behind their product. Im sure problems will continue to occur based on all of the reviews and research Ive done. I have been on the phone with them 5 times. I have another appointment for repair since they say that this is the best that they can do since I am now out of warranty. Im with the other reviewer that says Class Action. I will try to update this review after my next repair visit, but in the interim, this stove is sorely disappointing. Stay away from this stove.

We purchased an investment property in December 2015. The house has only just turned 4 years old in December 2015. It had a new Samsung dishwasher then. Recently my tenant contacted me as it had leaked water. On investigation by our plumber and insurance assessor. The waste hose (the one that takes the hot water away to drain) has become completely brittle and breaks with one slight touch. I also noticed the colour is different from the inlet hose and is a completely different quality. We checked with the past owners and it is the original hose as it was new.Sadly it has caused an estimated 8,000 worth of damage to the timber floor. Because it is a floating timber floor. My insurance company deems it to be a content and has sub-limits of only 2,000 cover. The leak spread from the kitchen to the family room floor. We have to now maybe replace the whole floor throughout the house as we cannot find a timber match. Not sure whether to replace hose at about $80 plus labour or replace dishwasher. We do not have the dishwasher docket as the past owners discarded it. I think Samsung to change the hoses and have a recall on this machine. Very dissatisfied. I think they should just make computers and Samsung phones as they are excellent.

I am so upset with SAMSUNG appliances. We purchased a refrigerator Model #RF28HFEDBSR from them in 2014. It worked fine until months ago when we had Samsungs provider One Stop Appliance come and fix it. $330 and a 90 day warranty. At 120 days the same problem occurred so we called the Geek Squad because we purchased it at Best Buy. They came and fixed the exact same problem for another $330. Now we are again about 20 days out of the 90 day warranty and Samsung WONT DO ANYTHING!!Its ridiculous that we have to pay for the same issue to be fixed over and over again. They are supposed to have such good customer service but we are certainly not feeling it. They told me twice they would help but they would charge us AGAIN to fix the same problem for a THIRD time!! Why do they get high ratings??? I dont understand it. STAY AWAY FROM SAMSUNG APPLIANCES!! BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. Please share! Thanks.

Bought Samsung 28.5 cu. ft. French Door Fridge (spent $2500) in Aug, 2010 from Sears. After 4 1/2 years, it broke (no longer cool in fridge and cold in freezer). Asked Sears repairman to come (inspection costs $85) and said the compressor has to be replaced. Control board may also need to be replaced which costs another few hundreds. Samsung only covers the compressor parts but not labor. Estimated costs for labor is close to $500. It is totally rip-off and the worst experience for buying appliances. Never buy Samsung again for their unreliable products. I have a 26 years Admiral fridge in the garage which still works fine (except bit dripping water under and bit rust on some outside metal hinge).

We bought this Samsung oven NE58F9710WS/AA from Lowes. This is our second one. Our first one had the same problem where the oven will not heat back up after we open it to put food in. Samsung refunded our money for the first one after sending out a service tech 3 times. We should NOT have bought another one as this one has the exact same problem. We are now getting the runaround from Samsung. I love all the features of the oven; however, if the oven doesnt reheat or maintain its temperature, the features are pretty much worthless. My wife has spent hours and hours on the phone with Samsung trying to get this resolved and with still without a working oven after a month of phone calls.

We bought our first new refrigerator in May of 2015, a Samsung French door model with a Flex drawer. It was the most expensive fridge we have ever bought and it has been VERY unreliable. Just after the first year we had our first problem with it... and since then we have spent close to $1000 on repairs. When I phoned Samsung, they just went in circles and said how sorry they were that I was frustrated. Our technician who fixed it each time said that 9 out of 10 fridges that he fixes are Samsung. Buyers beware: dont buy a Samsung.

Brand new Samsung Electric Range NE59J7850 (March 2017) dual door bake/convection oven FAILS at baking. Console says preheat done and its off by 100 degrees. After another 20 minutes never reached temperature set for. Pizza turned out crusty on outside and raw on inside dough because the temperature was too LOW. Lasagna was ice cold in center after 2 hours because temperature was never attained. I did multiple tests on each oven and at different temp and none worked properly. Samsung has repair service come out and same problem... however when repair called Samsung there was NO fix for this problem. They apparently think its no big deal. Just wait forever for your oven to maybe get to set temperature and then guess how long it takes for a recipe to cook. Fail.Ordering new mother board and sensors but tech is convinced that wont fix the problem. Going back today to talk with sales department at JC Penney. They just started selling appliances and they need to know this is a poor design. Not their fault but if enough people want a replacement then they can put pressure on Samsung. Looking for replacement brand while there. I cant be bothered with an oven like this.

Last year, I bought an expensive top-of-the-line Samsung dishwasher. I thought this would be the best dishwasher I ever had. Boy, was I wrong. When my 15-year-old Sears Kenmore dishwasher died, it was doing a better job on dishes than this brand new $1000+ dishwasher. If I dont wash my dishes before I put them in, I have to wash them when I take them out. And they are never dry when they come out. I always have to dry them. My floor around my dishwasher is always wet because the dishes drip water when I take them out. And if I put 5 glasses in the top, 4 of the glasses have debris inside them when I take them out. I have to wash them again. Do not buy Samsung dishwashers. A used Kenmore will do a better job. I cant wait for this thing to break so I can get rid of it. What a piece of junk.

I spent nearly $6,000 on new refrigerator, range, dishwasher and microwave
I spent nearly $6,000 on new refrigerator, range, dishwasher and microwave less than one year ago and also bought the extended warranty. The first dishwasher they delivered did not work at all and they had to bring a new one. The stainless steel refrigerator was replaced twice after several service attempts to fix ice maker that makes only crushed ice. The unit still only makes crushed ice because it is a design flaw and with every glass of cubed ice you get about 30% of crushed ice. I bought the biggest and best unit on the market.. and we are very disappointed.. The wording ice and water rubbed off within the first couple months and was unreadable. Today, I had problems with the microwave. The numbers are beginning to wear off the front panel. When I called Samsung service they indicate that is a cosmetic issue and not covered by the warranty. I would never ever consider buying Samsung appliances for my kitchen.

Samsung Model RF28HMEDBSR. Worst ice maker I have ever had. The cubes come out like large crushed ice. The ice maker had to be replaced, about 6 months ago, now it is doing the same thing freezing up and has to be manually defrosted to work again (about every 2 weeks). The refrigerator is nosier than most - I can handle that - but I like my ice. I would not recommend this refrigerator to anyone that like their ice.Updated on 03/23/2018: Well I am back to the repair mode--ice maker worked for a while. I have had to defrost it twice this month and today when the tech came out, it was frozen up so bad that he had trouble removing the ice bin. Sigh! -They are going to replace the icemaker AGAIN. Thank God for the extended warranty.

I have had some of the same bad experiences with Samsung products, so I decided to share my experience to help those facing the same problems as me. I have owned the top of the line dmt800RHS dishwasher for less than two years. Initially the only issue was that the dishes would not get clean enough, so I spoke to the Lowes sales person who told me to make sure the water was hot at the sink before I start my washer. Even though there is a heating element in the machine, this did seem to help. Then, we started to smell what a lot of you are complaining about. Finally, the last straw was this latest issue with the machine filling with water but not starting the wash cycle. It also drains okay. I took the washer outside and removed everything inside it. Dont worry, its not rocket science, you can do it too. Just take your time. What I found was a piece of calcium stuck between the impeller and deflector. The calcium had hardened on the heating elements. I had to remove trapped food from inside the screen. I believe that is where the smell is coming from. I laid the machine on its back and removed the white plastic cover on the bottom that has two screws. Use a flat tip screw driver to release the tabs. Once inside, use a pair of pliers to pinch and slide the clamp back to remove the black hose at about the middle of the washer bottom. Stand it upright and blast the interior with your garden hose. If you live with hard water and your heating coil is covered with calcium put the hose back on and in the upright position submerge the coil in a CLR/water mixture. It might be a good idea to use a dishwasher cleaner monthly to keep the odor and calcium down. I hope I helped someone.

Since purchasing this Samsung-Bottom Freezer Refrigerator in 2009, Ive had at least 6 service calls, 2 replaced refrigerators and my problems are just as they are the day I purchased it. I have the extended service warranty (a joke). The ice maker sprays water over my frozen vegetables and has rarely made a whole ice cube! It crushes the ice when it does make ice or makes pieces of ice! You can set the freezer to 0 and within 24 hours, it changes to 7 below. This freezes everything in the top of the refrigerator including my fresh vegetables, tea, jello, and whatever is there. Ive lost at least 2 or 3 purchases approximately $100.00 each time to this problem. I called Samsung Executive Customer Service and spoke to Byron and he absolutely stated they will not stand behind this product as it was more than 1 year old. How about that for customer satisfaction? They dont care, theyre into the Apple thing and to heck with everything else they make. Im done with them. Im done with them! A&E Service people, who service for Lowes, cannot or will not or do not know how to fix my refrigerator. I will never, never purchase another Samsung refrigerator or anything else with Samsung on it!

Purchased a Samsung French door refrigerator ($2,300) in late 2016 from Home Depot. From the beginning the ice maker would become encased in ice and stop working every 6-8 weeks. Had to chip away at the ice around the ice maker for it to start working again. Searched the web for this problem and apparently this is a very common problem with this model. Contacted Samsung and was told service would cost me as it was out of warranty. Tried turning refrigerator off for a few hours to defrost ice and then it would work again for a few weeks. Now the ice maker and stopped working altogether. Called Samsung again and they refused service. This is a very poorly engineered and very expensive product to have customer service denied. I purchased a Samsung dishwasher serial # DW80F600UTW at Home Depot in October 2013. The machine worked well until May 2015 when it began flashing an Error Code- smart auto +heavy=overfill. I contacted an approved service provider who contacted Samsung Technical Support and was informed that: a) There was a bulletin on that model regarding overfill issues. b) Three parts were required to resolve the issue. c) These parts would cost over $400. The repair technician advised me that this was a manufacturing problem and that I, as a consumer, should not have to pay the bill to have the problem repaired. I contacted Samsung and spoke with a customer service representative who referred me to the Executive Customer Relations Department who informed me that Samsung is not willing to provide the necessary parts to resolve the error code.I am not satisfied with this response. I purchased a machine that requires the parts mentioned above to work properly. I am sure it is not Samsungs policy to create machines worth several hundred dollars to only work for one year. This is not a problem created through customer use, misuse, or abuse; it is a problem created through faulty manufacturing. I am willing to pay the labor to have the machine repaired but I believe it is Samsungs responsibility to provide the necessary parts.

I just got a brand new Samsung DW80K7050US dishwasher which retails for $950. To install it, the electricity must be connected (easy) and the output line has to be connected (easy) and the supply line has to be connected (easy). But.. when I turn the water on, I can hear a high pressure leak but see no water coming from anywhere. After a few minutes, a puddle of water comes from under the machine. There isnt a drop of water IN the machine. That means that when the machine was put together, there is a leaky seal or missing washer someplace... And I have to uninstall the machine, turn it upside down and play surgeon for a few hours trying to fix this damned leak. That is ridiculous.Even worse, I have done searches on this, and that problem is not uncommon. Typically it is fixed by the install, but in this case, I installed it. Why should I pay someone $150 to connect 3 wires and two hoses? Its no more complicated than attaching a garden hose. Obviously they dont test their products for leaks before shipping them out.
