Dishwasher Disaster SR# TD729818B M# CDT765SSF1SS - Please, Please, Please, help me to come up with a solution with the issues that have plagued me and my family since we purchased the dishwasher referenced below in the numerous e-mails and electronic correspondence! As I write this E-mail, the GE Assigned warranty repairman has the dishwasher in question torn apart and disassembled for the 3rd time in the last month and half (Please see included photos). A repair I was told was only going to be minutes to conduct has now lasted over 3 hours and caused me to miss a very important appointment. That time frame will go at least another hour if the repair is even possible? Not to mention that a dishwasher that has been used less than 25 times has once again been torn apart and reassembled. I don't care how well built they are, this in my mind affects their performance! The repairman from JK Appliance has spent at least 12 man hours of repair time on the dishwasher, made a half dozen calls to your tech support (check your records), and has never spent less than 4hrs here on a visit. Once again, I have to be here for those visits (time out of my day) plus the stress of watching a brand new $1600.00 dishwasher dismantled time after time! At what point does G.E. make a decision that the amount of money being spent to repair a defective machine is not worth it?? I have to believe that 12hrs of repair time plus an hour of travel time for three separate visits each way, has already added up to the price of a new/replacement dishwasher? The other two G.E. appliances (microwave/Gas Stove) purchased with our remodel last year have performed flawlessly and we are happy with them. However, the trouble with the dishwasher has soured us on ever considering G.E. again! I plan on sending this E-mail and attachments to every consumer/watchdog group (Consumer Affairs) that I'm aware of and to the store (Lowes- Farmington N.M) that the appliance was purchased at. This is not meant to be a threat, I'm just at my wit's end as to how to get to the end of this long tortuous journey that a simple appliance has caused for me and my family. Yes, there are certainly more pressing problems in the world, but right now this is the one that is currently affecting my family and the happiness in our home! Please advise if there is another route that I need to go with this problem including any alternate points of contact (GE's Escalated Issues department). My phone number is ** and maybe a simple personal call of apology from someone at G.E. explaining what my alternatives are would be considered? Thanks for your time and consideration.

I wanted a dishwasher that was concealed and matched my kitchen cabinets, so this dishwasher worked out perfectly! I was able to put my beautiful custom panel on the front of it and now it looks like any other cupboard in my kitchen....i LOVE it!

I purchased new Electrolux dishwasher from Goedekers.com, was delivered to me in intact box, so nothing to show delivery problem, I open the box and could not see any problem, scheduled installation and the installer discover that under the cover blanket the unit was really beaten up. So I called Electrolux and Goedeker's to report the problem. The dishwasher is under 12 mos warranty. They send different appliance repair people to fix it. And the conclusion was the same: Replacement because can't be fix.But after two mos Electrolux/Goedeker's game come with the statement: the warranty does not cover the repair (actually Electrolux spent $600 on diagnostics and screwing-unscrewing) + I spend long hrs talking/asking/emailing/listening CS reps, managers, supervisors, corporate executives telling different statements, basically lying and not taking responsibilities. The worst experience in my lifetime and I'm 64 years. All this Electrolux/Goedeker's reps were advising me to do illegal actions to repair the damage for unit under warranty and all is my mistake that I did not uncover the manufactured blanket when I checked the delivery shipped in intact package box. Also accusing me that I damaged my new dishwasher - insane! I ready to expose the damage that Electrolux and Goedeker's are doing.

We purchased a dishwasher from Sears and it was installed in October of 2014. This dishwasher cost almost $900 dollars and now for the last several months does not clean and the drying section is horrible. It is a Kenmore and was presented as a top of the line product. In calling Sears 800 number is evident that the customer service at Sears does not care. I will never do business with Sears again as their customer service is terrible.

My new Samsung dishwasher model# DW80M2020US looks nice but the heating element is defective. Doesn't heat the wash or rinse water and doesn't dry the dishes. Doesn't clean the dishes as well as my 10-year-old dishwasher did, even in its 10th year. How can a brand new dishwasher be so inferior!?!

Purchased my KitchenAid dishwasher 12/2013. Replaced the door latch/strike plate after owning it for 4 months. 12 months later, I replaced the door latch/strike plate again. Door continues to latch incorrectly. Manufacturer defect.

Dishwasher is the right size and it meets my needs/my requirements. It cleans the dishes well. However, scraps of food from dishes is left in drain in bottom of dishwasher. This causes a bad odors, if not cleaned.

Very Poor Quality from Maytag Although (Dishwasher, model MDB8959AWS) - I knew Maytag always had a reputation of selling quality products I have never purchased a Maytag appliance because they usually cost more than other brands, so this is my 1st Maytag product. After ~25 months (after all warranties have expired), the unit stops working. The lights seem to have a mind of their own. I removed power from the unit for 1/2 hour attempting to "re-boot" the computer but the condition did not change. After researching the issue online, I found that Maytag has a two big problems: 1) Defective dishwashers, 2) Bad or no customer service.I am an engineer and this type of a problem (it happens from time to time) MUST be acknowledged and the customer made whole or the reputation of the company is destroyed and future sales will (and should) diminish to the point that the company may(?) go away for ever. I know products are not designed to last a lifetime like they were in the 60s & 70s but 3.3 years for a $650.00 appliance is way out of line. The dishwasher we replaced was ~18 years old, and we only replaced it because my wife wanted a more modern look.

We bought a Samsung dishwasher in Sept 2014 and it broke in Jan 2015 only after a use of five months. The customer service took so long to come. Finally they came and replaced a part. The only thing happened was the change of error. It didn't fix the machine. Then after a long effort they came and took the dishwasher and never came back. It's already more than three weeks and people around me are telling me it's never coming back. It was a complete waste of money. It's still under warranty.

We purchased an LG French door with freezer drawer in bottom. Have had problems with mold developing along the door gaskets as doors do not closed properly. Yesterday, there was an odor that smelled like burning plastic. It smelled like some electrical insulation was burning. The smell diminished, but this morning we discovered that the electrical cord was burning at the outlet. I called the service contract people and was told that the electric cord was not covered, that if they sent someone out it would cost $100.00+. Drove to the local HHGregg store where we purchased it originally and spoke with the manager, which was as helpful as talking to the service provider. In my opinion, both Gregg and the service provider are dishonest about their policy coverage. It appears that I am not alone with this problem.
