Product Reviews:

I had to replace a washer & dryer which was destroyed in a fire. We lost everything. I was hoping a new set would last me many years. Boy, I was wrong. Maytag Bravo washer is the worst by far. I haven't even had it 4 years. I had a plumber in 4 times already. The pump keeps breaking; it doesn't drain properly. It appears that dirt is entering the clean laundry and the laundry has to be washed again. It looks like I have to research for a new washer. It won't be a Maytag. They are thieves!

I am actually posting this because of a complaint already posted. I also purchased our Fisher Paykel washer dryer units in 2005. We also had to replace the barring in our dryer (top loading dryer), and our pump and control board died almost at the same time.

Terrible! I bought the washer in December of 2010. We began finding holes in clothes in March of 2011. We found that we had a small crack in our dryer. After trying to fix it ourselves, the crack came back. So, we replaced the dryer. After we replaced the dryer, we began to find more holes in our clothes. It was not the dryer causing the holes, but our duet Whirlpool washer. We had several drain error instances as well. We have had the service repair man out several times for the drain error problem. Ranging from a Mardi Gras bead in the drain pump, to several baby socks to a large adult tube sock. I'd say it's been at least 7 times. We had finally had enough of our clothes, which I would estimate to be at least $500 worth of clothing, the service repair man said he had never seen anything like it. That was in November of 2011. They said they would replace the tub and drum system but it would take several weeks to get the part in, which took us past our warranty. After numerous complaints, Whirlpool offered the best they could do, that was to extend our warranty (6 additional months). The first drum was broken upon delivery, so another would have to be ordered. There goes another week. Finally it came in. We were all but assured the problem would be fixed. Two days later, same drain error code! 3 more socks caught in the drain pump! Took the socks out myself after watching them do it so I didn't have to call them out again and pay the fee. Next day, there were more holes in clothes! Called and and they said they can't get a service guy out for at least a week! That was all during the Christmas and New Year's holidays! January 9th, the service repair man came and said, "Yep, it's the same problem. We need to replace the tub and drum again". The part would be guaranteed to be in by Friday, January 13th!Guess what? Today I got a call, the parts were on back-order and it won't be until January 24th until they can become available. Seriously? Seriously?! I have a family of 6. Me, my wife, a 8 year old girl, a 7 year old girl, a 5 year old boy and an 18 month old girl. The piles upon piles of laundry are limitless waiting for empty promises. In the meantime, we have had to wash essential clothes (school clothes, socks, underwear, etc.) at laundromats, and friends and other family members' houses. Whirlpool doesn't give a care about any of our problems. I come from a huge family, as does my wife. Together, we probably have 100 family members. I will crusade against Whirlpool for any and all appliances if this matter is not fixed and their customer service is not better!

Honestly very reliable. Always ran well. Never had a problem with any of my Kenmore products. I had both a washer and dryer and also a fridge. I would recommend to anyone looking for a new appliance. Even used Kenmore brand stands strong. I think everyone in my family has or has had a Kenmore appliance at some point.

I needed to replace my old Kenmore washer and dryer after many successful years of use---did research but not enough, apparently. I have never been so disappointed with a Sears product as with this washer. Unable to soak heavy hobby dirt overnight, I hate the auto lock feature, and the lack of enough water in tub. I have to use the double rinse and extra fill of water every time plus the heavy duty cycle. Powders like soap and oxy need to be dissolved in a tub before you use them or your clothing will come out with white powder patches. Clothes are often not clean because of the lack of water fill. I complained to the clerk at Sears who sold me the washer after just a couple weeks and he was rude and discounted all of my concerns. By the time I went back again after a few weeks, he said the time lapsed and the machine could not be returned. I really wish I had kept my old machine until the motor totally quit. I hate the electronic controls that turn on if you even wash the top or sometimes walk by the machine. I have never been so disappointed in a product as this before. The Sears official site kept telling me there was an error in my submission and booting me off, and I strongly suspect it is because the review was negative. I purchased the matching dryer and it is fine except for dirt that collects on the inside rims of the door with each load... I empty the lint screen but dirt still collects on the door. The washer also takes twice as long as any washer I have ever had, and I am 73 with a history of at least 5 washers in my life. I hope buyers will not make my mistake with the 600 series of Kenmore top loader washer machines. Thank you for reading.

Looked nice, thought it would be good being it was a Kenmore. Bought it about one year ago. This is the very worst washer and dryer I have ever had. I will not buy another one. Kenmores in the past were the best. I am buying another one, it will not be a Kenmore. Tried to give it back and a refund, Sears told me I was too late. Not a happy person with this washer and dryer at all... I will be looking for a old fashion washer and dryer, not a sincer kind. One that I can control the level of water, control my options of heat on my dryer. Washer and dryer that is easy to understand instructions. A washer that I don't have to buy a washer cleaner so my clothes don't stink, and so many more not good things... Deal breaker would be a washer and dryer like I have now. One that doesn't twist everything into a knot. One that gets clothes clean. One that I can control whenever I want to repeat a function and more...

We purchased the LG EcoHybrid dryer a few years ago. The heat pump feature stopped working a few months after we bought it and no one around will fix it. The dryer now constantly has a flow sense warning. We cleaned the dryer exhaust and still the warning. I see a lot of lint in the dryer itself but have no way to clean it except taking the entire thing apart.

I am very happy with my Kenmore appliances. They are energy efficient and work very well. They aren't over priced making them a definite value. The dryer was very good. Their dryer was large enough and had various settings and temperatures to dry a large load in an appropriate amount of time. It also helped keep the clothes from wrinkling. Also, the dryer was very modern looking. Nice dials. Wasn't overly bulky or large. They definitely keep up with the changing times and designs. Never had any issues with it while I owned it. It was definitely a worry free purchase.

Ice Maker has malfunctioned since the refrigerator was purchased. Apparently a common problem with Samsung refrigerators that Samsung refuses to correct. Ice maker freezes up and will not produce ice and eventually quits working altogether. I have called Samsung on numerous occasions and their only solution is to take a hair dryer and melt the built-up ice. Now nothing works!

In 2016 we purchased a Samsung refrigerator and other Samsung kitchen appliances. The refrigerator Model RF25HMEDBSG is a piece of junk with the ice maker freezing over ALL the time. At first we called and had a tech come out to fix it. He mentioned that this is a very common problem. So after reading all the same issues others are having why is there not a recall on such a piece of junk. DO NOT waste your money. It happens so often, we keep a hair dryer near the fridge to defrost the darn thing so we can get ice. I will never buy another Samsung appliance.
