Product Reviews:

Bought the entire line of these products - double oven, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher. From the start the ice maker never made ice. We've had 4 techs out to fix it. Last issue was the entire control board needed to be replaced. The dishwasher pump has been replaced. Currently the microwave doesn't heat and the top of the double oven won't heat. Called Frigidaire and the offered to sell us a 2-year warranty for $498. Wow, way to back your products. 4 appliances and every one of them is total garbage and NOBODY at Frigidaire cares. I will never buy a Frigidaire product again. And to think, this is their PROFESSIONAL line!

We bought an entire kitchen of Viking appliances (fridge, range, oven, microwave, etc.). By far the worst is the refrigerator. Every time the machine has broken down, we call Viking for their recommendation which always is to pay more than $1000 for replacement parts. We've done this now at least 4-5 times, but on today's visit the certified repairman told us it would be more than $1000 and he could not guarantee it would work (the immediately prior visit was 3 months ago and $1500 - on Viking's advice, naturally). Viking offered us 10% off on a new refrigerator - that would be less than we spent on the last repair. Today's Viking rep didn't seem to understand why I didn't think that was a good deal....hmmm..

We purchase Electrolux appliances for our new home 5 years ago. We have had nothing but problems with all of them. We even purchased the warranty and the company could never even fix the water dispenser the entire time we've owned it. Well today the refrigerator finally broke. The dishwasher broke, the stove, the microwave and now this!!! I will never buy this brand again.

Maytag washer, dryer, oven, microwave over-the-range - all crapped out in four years. I will never buy or recommend Maytag. I believed them to be one of the best brands but apparently they've learned a few too many shortcuts.

Viking has always been one of the top brands to buy in status, quality and functionality. I’m 63-years-old and I’ve had Viking for 40 years. I just purchased a range for a second home, and I’m satisfied with the quality of the product. The whole package is good. The quality of the stainless steel and the knobs too. They also moved up to LED light, which is nice. I am a builder in Manhattan and I do some high-end residential and commercial work. I am not a cook but I recognize quality when I see and work with it. Viking is one of the brands that I would always recommend.

After cleaning the stove, a streak appeared which was not reachable from the inside or outside. Samsung customer service claims that the damage is cosmetic therefore I should pay for the repair. I spoke to the folks at Home Depot, he told me that this a defect of the product since the seal was broken. Amanda at Samsung is rude and not at all accommodating.

I have had this product now for 1.5 years and am very dissatisfied with it. Whirlpool calls their oven an "Aqua Lift Self Clean", which is terribly misleading. There is nothing self-cleaning about it, except that the person who needs to clean it is me (myself)! I cannot use oven cleaners on it, because that will void my warranty, so the only way to clean it is to scrub, scrub, scrub, down on my hands and knees, which I haven't had to do for many a year. My second issue is with the glass stovetop. I have had many glass tops before and have never, never had such trouble cleaning it. Every time I use the stovetop I need to scrub and polish vehemently to clean it. And thirdly, the dials fail very quickly, and to replace them costs me $50.00 a pop! In just 1.5 years two dials have failed. This is just unacceptable, and I say shame on Whirlpool, and shame on the company that sold it to me. I will never, ever purchase another Whirlpool appliance again.

I don't know where to begin. There are SO MANY design flaws on this stove. The stove top burners look fine but you cannot fit more than two pots on it at a time (unless you are using very small pots). The back two burners are so small and inefficient they can really just be used for warming. The broiler consists of a single tube that runs front to back so the middle of whatever is cooking burns while the sides aren't browned. The bottom rack of the top oven is so close to the bottom that food scorches on the bottom as well as your hand.I bought this stove 2 yrs ago and had continual problems with fluctuating oven temps (Used a conventional thermometer to check). The thermostat was replaced. A couple of weeks later, the computer board was replaced. Still didn't work. Quoted the "lemon law" policy and the stove was replaced. The oven then worked although I am stuck with the design flaws. Now the oven temp is becoming erratic again. I did buy the extended warranty but am anticipating an ordeal. P.S. I have never used the cleaning feature because I read consumers' reviews.

We purchased an F&P oven in October 2011. It did not work after installation. Our brand new expensive self-cleaning oven has had constant problems. We have had at least 4 repairs. The oven even failed on Christmas day and ruined our turkey as the oven wouldn't heat up. The techs don't seem to know what was wrong with it but F&P refuses to replace this faulty product. We are now waiting for a new door and F&P review to come out. So we are supposed to lose more work time and use our holiday to wait in for half a day. Customer service is rude and unhelpful. I will never buy F&P again.

I originally purchased a KitchenAid refrigerator (model# KRFC604FSS) May 313 2017, along with 4 other KitchenAid appliances (this is a new build). All but the stove arrived 6/21/17. When we plugged the fridge in, it was making a very loud noise and many of our contractors said it was abnormally loud and I should call Pacific Kitchen & Home/Best Buy. When I did, I was told to talk to the Geek Squad and then call KitchenAid directly. That was the beginning of long wait times on the phone, automated voice messages, getting disconnected after providing endless details (they cannot call you back) and waiting to speak with a human that could take action. When I finally did speak with someone they argued with me about the date of purchase (which I have the receipt for) and "how loud" the noise was. They refused to replace the fridge and sent someone out. The first time I sat home for 8 hours and no one showed up. They rescheduled. The second time, they said they would be there between 8 and 12. They didn't show up and said they would come at 2. I was not able to wait, so I asked to cancel, and they said they couldn't cancel the appointment after the driver was already en route. They showed up and no one was here. When I called to reschedule they said that I wasn't there for my appointment which I explained was not the case. Then they fixed the fridge but not the dent or the rust on the front door. So I started the process all over. Finally after many calls and arguments, asking them to just replace the door, they refused and sent me free stainless steel cleaner. Pacific Kitchen & Home agreed to replace the fridge since they thought KitchenAid should have done this. The new fridge came the end of September. The ice maker stopped working early December (who needs ice during the peak holiday season?) So I made another appointment and they then canceled it, a few days before. Today the repairman came (12/29) and said that he didn't have the parts. He will be back next Friday. So this is the general gist of my experience so far. When the repair person arrives he is polite and does his best. Pacific Kitchen & Home have also tried their best (by replacing the fridge in September). The bottom line is that KitchenAid produced a poor-quality product, would prefer to fight with the consumer than provide service, and sends their repair people out without the required parts. It is important to note that this fridge was over $2600 and I have now had to take time off from work, on four occasions, and it is still not working. I have had THE SECOND fridge in my house for three months. It is still not working properly and failed during the month that I have the most people at my home. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND going elsewhere with your business.
