Smelly hot water 
Certain water conditions cause a reaction between the anode rod and supply water, which results in hydrogen sulfide gas being dissolved in the tank water. The hydrogen sulfide gas emerges in the hot tap water causing a rotten-egg smell. Installing a less-reactive aluminum alloy anode rod and chlorinating the water supply system eliminates the rotten-egg smell in hot water. 

Water temperature too hot 
First, adjust the thermostat setting to lower the water temperature if the thermostat is set above 130 degrees. The 120-degree setting is standard. If 120-degree water is too hot for you to use, try setting the thermostat at 110 degrees. Next, check the thermostats. The upper and lower thermostats in an electric water heater must fit snug against the tank to properly transfer heat in order for thermostats to detect the water temperature correctly. To check the thermostats, turn off the power to the water heater and remove the thermostat access covers. Check the thermostats' positions and adjust the thermostat brackets if necessary to press the thermostats against the side of the tank. 

Water not hot enough 
Carefully adjust the thermostat setting if it's set below 120 degrees Fahrenheit. Adjust the temperature setting in small increments to avoid producing scalding hot water. You shouldn't need to adjust the temperature above 130 degrees. Setting the thermostat above 130 degrees can produce water that's too hot. Sometimes, you'll use up the hot water in the tank and you'll need to wait for the tank to recover before the water is fully heated. Consider replacing your water heater with a larger capacity model if your current model doesn't supply enough hot water to meet your needs. A 40-gallon water heater typically supplies enough hot water for a family of four with normal water use. 

No hot water 
For electric water heaters, check both house circuit breakers for the water heater. Reset the circuit breakers by shutting them off and then flipping them back on. A gas water heater will have a single circuit breaker. Reset that circuit breaker the same way-shut it off and flip it back on. If the electric water heater doesn't begin to heat after resetting the circuit breakers, shut the breakers off and press the reset button for the high-temperature limit switch on the upper thermostat of the water heater. If the water heater works for a while and then trips the high-temperature limit switch again, you'll likely need to replace a failed thermostat that's causing the element to heat constantly. 

Not enough hot water 
A failed heating element or defective thermostat could result in not having enough hot water. Examine your thermostats and elements and replace any defective components. A buildup of sediment in the bottom of the tank can also result in not having enough hot water. Shut off the electricity and water supply to the water heater and then drain the tank to flush out tank sediment. Refill the tank before restoring electrical power to an electric water heater to avoid damaging the heating elements. 

Pressure relief valve is dripping water 
Replace the pressure relief valve if it leaks and the water heater isn't overheating. If the water is overheating, the dripping could be because the overheating tripped the valve. Shut off the circuit breakers and check the thermostats and heating elements. A failed thermostat can cause the element to heat constantly, resulting in overheating. A heating element shorted to the metal tank or cabinet will also heat constantly and cause overheating. 

Water in the drain pan 
When you see water in the water heater drain pan, check for leaks at the water pipe fittings. Tighten the water pipe connections if necessary. Check the drain valve and temperature-pressure relief valve for leaks. Replace the drain valve or relief valve if they leak. For an electric water heater, check the heating elements for leaks when you see the water heater drain pan full of water. Tighten an element if it's loose. Replace a heating element if damaged.

My Kenmore Oven is Not Heating 
Igniter. The igniter is the most commonly defective part for an oven not heating. The igniter has two main functions. First, the igniter draws electrical current through the oven safety valve to open it. Second, the igniter gets hot enough to glow and ignite the gas in the oven burner. If the igniter gets weak, it will fail to open the safety valve correctly. If the valve does not open, the oven will not heat. To determine if the igniter is defective, observe the igniter when the oven is on. If the igniter glows for more than 90 seconds without igniting the gas flame, this indicates that the igniter is too weak to open the valve. If the igniter is weak, replace it. If the igniter does not glow at all, use a multimeter to test the igniter for continuity. If the igniter does not have continuity, replace it. 

Kenmore Oven doesn't bake evenly 
Bake Element. If the bake element is burned out, the oven will only be heated by the broil element. This will cause the oven to heat unevenly. When the bake element is heating properly, it glows red hot. If the element does not glow red, this indicates that the element is not heating. Often, if the element has burned out, it will be visibly damaged. Inspect the bake element for holes or blisters. To determine if the bake element has burned out, use a multimeter to test the element for continuity. If the bake element does not have continuity, replace it.. 

Kenmore Oven broiler not working 
Broil Element. The broiler element may have burned out. When the broil element is heating properly, it glows red hot. If the element does not glow red, this indicates that the element is not heating. Often, if the element has burned out, it will be visibly damaged. Inspect the broil element for holes or blisters. To determine if the broil element has burned out, use a multimeter to test the element for continuity. If the broil element does not have continuity, replace it. 

Kenmore Stove heating element not working 
Surface Element Board. The surface element board has relays that regulate the power supply to the burners. If one or more of the relays fails, the surface element won’t work. If two or more burners fail at the same time, this indicates that the surface element board is likely at fault. If only one surface element won’t work, use a multimeter to test the element for continuity. If the surface element has continuity, the surface element board might be defective. 

Kenmore Stove burner won't light 
Spark Module. The spark modules provides power to each surface burner spark electrode. If the burner is produces a weak spark, or if the burner sparks intermittently, the spark module might be defective. Before replacing the spark module, first check the spark electrode and the spark wire. If the spark electrode and spark wire are not at fault, the spark module is likely defective. If the spark module is defective, replace it. 

Kenmore Oven temperature not accurate 
Bake Element. When the bake element is heating properly, it glows red hot. If the element does not glow red, this indicates that the element is not heating. Often, if the heating element has burned out, it will be visibly damaged. Inspect the heating element for holes or blisters. To determine if the bake element has burned out, use a multimeter to test the element for continuity. If the bake element does not have continuity, replace it. 

Kenmore Oven light is out 
Light Assembly. If the oven light is out, the entire light assembly may need to be replaced. Often the light assembly components are not sold separately.

On most ovens, you can open the oven door by removing certain screws or panels. Check your owner's manual for further instructions.

Kenmore Washer won't spin 
Lid Switch Assembly. The lid switch assembly prevents the washer from spinning when the lid is open. If the lid switch assembly fails, the washer will not spin. To determine if the lid switch assembly is defective, use a multimeter to test the lid switch for continuity. If the lid switch does not have continuity, replace it. 

Kenmore Washer is making loud noise 
Bearing. The tub bearing is mounted in the middle of the outer tub. The tub bearing helps to keep the inner tub spinning smoothly. Replacing the tub bearing is a very involved repair and will require disassembling most of the washer. If the tub bearing is defective, we recommend replacing both the outer tub and bearing. 

Kenmore Washer won't agitate 
Agitator Repair Kit. If the washer won't agitate, replacing the agitator repair kit may solve the problem. The kit contains the agitator components that are most likely to wear out and/or fail. If any of the parts are worn out, stripped, or damaged, replace the kit. 

Kenmore Washer won't drain 
Drain Pump. Sometimes, small objects or articles of clothing can get caught in the drain pump. To determine if anything is blocking the drain pump, remove the drain pump and check the pump for obstructions. If the drain pump is clear of obstructions, but is still noisy during the drain cycle, replace the drain pump. 

Kenmore Washer vibrating or shaking 
Shock Absorber. One or more of the shock absorbers might be broken or worn out. The shock absorbers dampen the vibration of the washer tub. If one or more of the shock absorbers are worn out, the washer will vibrate or shake. Sometimes, when a washer is moved to another location, the shock absorbers can separate. Check the shock absorbers to ensure that they are positioned correctly, and inspect them for damage and wear. If one or more of the shock absorbers are broken or worn out, we recommend replacing all of the shock absorbers as a preventative measure. 

Kenmore Washer fills slowly or will not fill at all 
Water Inlet Valve. The water inlet valve opens to allow water to enter the washing machine. If the water inlet valve is defective, the wash may fill slowly or not fill at all. The water inlet valve requires sufficient water pressure to function properly. First, check the water pressure to determine that it is adequate. If the water pressure is adequate, try cleaning the screens inside the water inlet valve hose connection ports. If the washer still fills slowly, replace the water inlet valve. 

Kenmore Washer leaking water 
Drain Pump. The drain pump pumps water out the drain hose. If the drain pump is cracked or damaged, or if the bearings are worn out, the drain pump may leak water. The drain pump is not repairable—if the pump is leaking water, replace it. 

Kenmore Washer won't start 
Timer. The timer is frequently misdiagnosed—before replacing the timer, first check all of the more commonly defective parts. To determine if the timer is defective, consult your washer’s wiring diagram and use a multimeter to test the timer for continuity. 

Kenmore Washer won't spin or agitate 
Drive Belt. Inspect the drive belt to determine if it is broken or if it is loose on the pulleys. If the drive belt is broken or loose, replace it.

Kenmore Dishwasher not cleaning 
Water Inlet Valve. The water inlet valve opens to allow water to enter the dishwasher. If the valve is clogged or defective, the dishwasher won’t get enough water to clean dishes properly. If the water inlet valve is clogged, replace it. Do not attempt to clean the water inlet valve—cleaning the valve could make it more likely to fail. 

Why Won't my Kenmore Dishwasher Drain? 
Drain Impeller. The drain impeller pushes water through the drain hose and into the garbage disposer or drain line. If the impeller is broken, replace it. 

Kenmore Dishwasher buttons not working 
Touchpad. First, confirm that the dishwasher display is working. If the display is still working, try pressing some of the touchpad buttons. If some of the buttons respond correctly but others don’t, it is likely that the touchpad is at fault. (Some manufacturers sell the touchpad separately from the control panel. Other manufacturers require that you purchase the touchpad and control panel together. If you cannot replace the touchpad individually, replace the touchpad and control panel.) 

Kenmore Dishwasher lights flashing or blinking 
Heating Element. The heating element heats up the water to operating temperature. If the water doesn’t reach the proper temperature after a set amount of time, a light on the control panel might start flashing. To determine if the heating element has burned out, use a multimeter to test it for continuity. If the heating element does not have continuity, replace it. 

Kenmore Dishwasher leaking 
Water Inlet Valve. The water inlet valve opens to allow water to enter the dishwasher. If the water inlet valve is stuck open, the dishwasher will continue to fill with water until the dishwasher leaks or overflows. If the water inlet valve is at fault, replace it. Water inlet valves are not repairable—if the valve is defective, you must replace it. 

Kenmore Dishwasher leaking from motor area 
Impeller and Seal Kit. First, try to determine the source of the leak. If the water is leaking from the motor shaft area, the motor shaft seal is likely defective. If the seal is defective, replace it. (Some manufacturers sell the seal independently of the impeller. Other manufacturers require that you purchase the impeller and seal together. Still other manufacturers require that you purchase the entire pump and motor assembly instead of the impeller and seal. It is usually more cost effective to replace the impeller and seal kit rather than the pump and motor assembly.) 

Kenmore Dishwasher won't start 
Door Switch. The door switch prevents the dishwasher from running while the door is open. If the door switch is defective, the switch will prevent the dishwasher from running even when the door is closed. To determine if the door switch is at fault, use a multimeter to test the switch for continuity. If the switch does not have continuity, replace it. 

Kenmore Dishwasher won't latch 
Door Hinge. If the door hinges are damaged, the door won’t be able to latch properly. Inspect the door hinges for damage. If a hinge is bent or broken, replace it. 

Kenmore Dishwasher dispenser not dispensing soap 
Bi-Metal. The bi-metal actuator is a metal loop which acts as a latch for the dispenser door. As electricity is applied to the bi-metal, it deforms and bends away from the latch, releasing it. If the bi-metal is burned out, it won’t release the dispenser door. To determine if the bi-metal has burned out, use a multimeter to test it for continuity. If the bi-metal does not have continuity, replace it. In addition, make sure that the dishwasher is getting enough water. If the water level is too low, the wash motor may not draw enough current through the bimetal, causing the bimetal not to bend enough to work properly.

My Kenmore Microwave is Not Heating 
Diode. The diode converts the A/C power output of the transformer to D/C, doubling the voltage to nearly 5,000 volts. This high voltage powers the magnetron to heat the food. If the diode burns out, the magnetron won’t receive enough voltage to operate, preventing the microwave from heating. When the diode fails, it is often visibly burned out. Inspect the diode and if the diode is burned out, replace it. If inspecting the diode proves inconclusive, test it with a multimeter that uses a 9-volt battery or put a 9-volt battery in series with the diode. When the leads are reversed, the diode should only have continuity in one direction. (Warning: The microwave oven can store a lethal amount of electricity in its high voltage capacitor, even after the microwave oven has been unplugged. Due to the high running voltage and the potential for electric shock, it is extremely dangerous to replace the electronic components in a microwave. Only a licensed technician should replace the diode.) 

Kenmore Microwave not working 
Line Fuse. If too much current passes through the microwave circuitry, the line fuse will blow. If the line fuse blows, the microwave won’t start. To determine if the line fuse is at fault, use a multimeter to test it for continuity. If the fuse does not have continuity, replace it. In addition, you should investigate and resolve the problem that caused the fuse to blow. If you don’t resolve the underlying issue, the new fuse will blow too. (Caution: The microwave oven can store thousands of volts of electricity in its high voltage capacitor, even after the microwave oven has been unplugged. Due to the potential for electric shock, it is extremely dangerous to replace the electronic components in a microwave. Only a licensed technician should replace the line fuse.) 

Kenmore Microwave light bulb not working 
Light Bulb. The light bulb itself might be burned out. Replace the light bulb before replacing any of the parts associated with the light bulb 

Kenmore Microwave shuts off after a few seconds 
Door Switch. A door switch might be failing intermittently. Check each of the door switches for signs of overheating, arcing, or burning. If you don’t see any obvious signs of failure, use a multimeter to test each switch for continuity. If any of the switches is visibly damaged or only has intermittent continuity, replace it. 

Kenmore Microwave turntable not turning 
Turntable Motor. Use a multimeter to test the motor for continuity. If the turntable motor does not have continuity, replace it. 

Kenmore Microwave buttons not working 
Touchpad. To determine if the touchpad is defective, try pressing each of the buttons on the control panel. If some of the buttons respond correctly while others don’t, replace the touchpad. 

Kenmore Microwave display not working 
Main Control Board. If the display goes out partially, the display board is more commonly at fault. If the display isn’t working at all, either the main control board or the display board could be at fault. 

Kenmore Microwave turns on by itself 
Main Control Board. First, make sure that the touchpad is working properly. If the touchpad is working properly, the main control board is likely at fault. If the control board is defective, replace it. 

Kenmore Microwave is sparking or arcing 
Waveguide Cover. The waveguide cover might be damaged and shorting out. Try removing the waveguide cover and see if the problem resolves. If the waveguide cover is burnt or will not stay in place, replace it.

Kenmore Refrigerator not cooling 
Condenser Coils are Dirty. The condenser coils are usually located under the refrigerator. They dissipate heat as refrigerant passes through them. If the condenser coils are dirty, they won’t dissipate the heat effectively. As debris builds up on the coils, the refrigerator becomes less efficient, causing the refrigerator to work harder to cool down. If the coils are significantly dirty, the refrigerator will not be able to maintain the proper temperature. Check the condenser coils to determine if they are dirty—if the condenser coils are dirty, clean them. 

My Kenmore refrigerator water dispenser's Not Working 
Water Tube in Door is Frozen. To determine if the water supply tube is frozen, disconnect the tube at the bottom of the door and blow air through it. If air does not pass through, this indicates that the water supply tube is frozen. If the water supply tube is frozen, thaw it out. In addition, ensure that the freezer is kept at the proper temperature. The freezer temperature should be kept from 0-10 degrees Fahrenheit. If the freezer is too cold, the water line may freeze. 

My Kenmore Refrigerator is not making ice 
Freezer Temperature is Above 10 Degrees F (-12C). If the freezer temperature is above 10 degrees Fahrenheit (-12C), the ice maker will not produce ice cubes efficiently. The freezer temperature should be set between 0 and 5 degrees Fahrenheit (-18 to -15C) for the ice maker to work properly. If the freezer temperature is too high, ensure that the condenser coils are clear of debris and the condenser fan is working properly. In addition, check to see if frost has accumulated on the evaporator coils. If the evaporator coils are frosted over, part of the defrost system has likely failed. 

Kenmore Refrigerator ice dispenser not working 
Dispenser Control Board. The dispenser control board governs most of the functions of the dispenser system. If the control board is faulty, it may stop supplying power to the entire dispenser system. If only one dispenser part is not working, test each of the dispenser components before testing the control board. It is more likely that a single part has failed. If the entire dispenser system is not working, the control board is more likely to be at fault. 

Kenmore Refrigerator not defrosting 
Defrost Control Board. The defrost control board determines how often to run the defrost cycle. If the board fails, the refrigerator will not go into the defrost cycle. Before replacing the defrost control board, first test the defrost heater and defrost thermostat. If the defrost heater and defrost thermostat are working properly, the defrost control board is likely defective. 

Kenmore Refrigerator is noisy or loud 
Fan Blade. If the refrigerator is noisy or loud, especially when one of the doors are opened, either the evaporator or condenser fan blade may be at fault. First, check out the evaporator fan blade in the freezer behind the back panel. Try turning it by hand. If the fan blade does not turn freely, check to see if the blade is rubbing against something or if something is caught in the blade. Additionally, check the condenser fan blade in the back underside of the refrigerator to determine if it has any obstructions. 

Kenmore Refrigerator defrost drain clogged 
Clogged or Freezing Defrost Drain. The defrost drain might be clogged or frozen. If the defrost drain is frozen, the water will overflow the drain trough and drip down to the bottom of the compartment. If the defrost drain is frozen, thaw it out and ensure that the drain is clear of debris. 

Kenmore Refrigerator freezer is cold but refrigerator is warm 
The Evaporator Coils are Frosted Over. The defrost heater assembly turns on a few times throughout the day to melt away any frost that may have accumulated on the evaporator coils. If the defrost heater assembly is defective, frost will continue to accumulate on the evaporator coils, and the coils will become plugged with frost. If the evaporator coils are frosted over, the airflow through the coils will be restricted, causing the refrigerator not to cool. Check the evaporator coils to determine if they are frosted over. If the evaporator coils are frosted over, test each component of the defrost system. 

Kenmore Refrigerator leaking water 
Clogged or Freezing Defrost Drain. If the defrost drain is frozen, the water will overflow the drain trough and drip down to the bottom of the compartment. This water can eventually leak onto the floor. Check the defrost drain to determine if it is clogged or frozen. If the defrost drain is frozen, thaw the ice. In addition, flush the drain with hot water to ensure that it is clear of debris.

Thermal Fuse. The thermal fuse is a safety device designed to protect the dryer from overheating. The fuse is located on the blower housing or at the dryer’s heat source such as the heating element on electric dryers or at the burner on gas models. The fuse should be closed for continuity meaning it has a continuous electrical path through it when good. If overheated the fuse will have no continuity meaning the electrical path is broken and the fuse has blown. A multimeter can be used to test it for continuity. Be aware that a blown thermal fuse is an indication of a restricted exhaust vent from the dryer to the outside. Always check the dryer venting when replacing a blown thermal fuse.  

Kenmore Dryer stopped spinning 
Drive Belt. The drive belt is a very long, slender belt that wraps all the way around the dryer drum, around a tension pulley, and then around the drive motor pulley. Over time, the belt can break from normal use. If the belt is broken, the dryer won’t turn. To quickly determine if the belt is broken, reach into the dryer and turn the drum by hand. If the drum spins very easily, the belt is likely broken. Next, inspect the belt to confirm that it is broken. If the belt is broken, replace it. 

My Kenmore Dryer is Not Spinning 
Drive Belt. The drive belt is a very long, slender belt that wraps all the way around the dryer drum, around a tension pulley, and then around the drive motor pulley. Over time, the belt can break from normal use. If the belt is broken, the dryer won’t turn. To quickly determine if the belt is broken, reach into the dryer and turn the drum by hand. If the drum spins very easily, the belt is likely broken. Next, inspect the belt to confirm that it is broken. If the belt is broken, replace it. 

Kenmore Dryer takes too long 
Air Flow Problem. If the vent is clogged or partially clogged, it will restrict the airflow through the dryer, substantially increasing the drying time. To ensure proper dryer performance, you should clean your dryer’s venting system at least once per year. 

Kenmore Dryer overheating 
Heating Element. The heating element warms the air before the air enters the dryer drum. If the element is partially shorted out, it may produce heat continuously, even if the dryer has reached the proper temperature. When this happens, the dryer gets too hot. To determine if the heating element is at fault, use a multimeter to test each terminal for continuity to the case. If the heating element has continuity to the case, it is shorted out. If the heating element is shorted out, replace it. 

Kenmore Dryer won't stop 
Air Flow Problem. If the vent is clogged or partially clogged, it will restrict the airflow through the dryer, substantially increasing the drying time. To ensure proper dryer performance, you should clean your dryer’s venting system at least once per year.

The Circuit Breaker is Weak. Over time, circuit breakers can weaken. If the circuit breaker is weak, it may trip too often, even if the amperage draw is below the limit. If you have already checked all of the potentially defective dryer components, consider having an electrician replace the circuit breaker.

Drive Belt. The drive belt is a very long, slender belt that wraps all the way around the dryer drum, around a tension pulley, and then around the drive motor. Over time, the drive belt can become frayed or otherwise damaged. If the drive belt is frayed or damaged, the dryer will be noisy as it turns. Inspect the drive belt for signs of wear. If the drive belt is worn, replace it.

Kenmore Elite oven model#: 790.4107 - We broke the glass top and a serviceman just finished replacing the glass top and we noticed the glass door handle was loose. So he then begin tightening the oven door handle at the screws when the entire outside glass door cover exploded throwing glass on both of us and all across the room. It was obvious from looking at how the door was constructed that a design flaw was the cause BUT neither the manufacturer or Sears would accept responsibility And both said the other designed the oven and passed the blame on the other. Because we had no warranty or a Sears serviceman doing the job at $175.00 more, Sears refused accepting any fault but our own.

It seems to me, a company should stand behind their product & want to maintain a great customer satisfaction. I think they have an obligation to sell products that work, and to replace those that dont work. Repeatedly, it doesnt keep food cold. If I call customer service for repair or to extend the warranty, it involves several hours, several calls, not understanding their English because they are in Indonesia, and then to try to get someone to come... First a guy came, but by the next day, his fix clearly didnt work. I had to go through that all over again. Now I throw in the sponge & call a local repairman who is very reputable, and pay his price. I would never, ever buy a Sears Kenmore Refrigerator/freezer again as long as I live!!! They are unreliable & problematic, and service on them is also aggravating. If someone doesnt help me soon, I will lose a lot of my food. I cant keep going through this. My fridge gets gentle, average use. This should not be happening, AGAIN. I am very angry with Sears for being impossible to work with & for not standing behind their product. I know now that they really dont care. My fridge is a 20.6 cubic foot unit, model # 106.62159110.

Además el congelador funciona muy bien. Mi única queja es que el congelador es demasiado pequeño de una porción del refrigerador. Deberían haber tomado más del refrigerador para hacer el congelador más grande. Tengo que limitar la cantidad de cosas del congelador. Las cosas congeladas que se pueden descongelar antes de usarlas. Lo pongo en el estante superior del frigorífico si es necesario, ya que ese estante congela las cosas en un día y los artículos colocados en el estante superior del frigorífico suelen permanecer congelados o tener mucho hielo como un granizado. La única vez que he tenido problemas con el Kenmore fue hace unos 10-15 años. Seguí ajustando la temperatura del frigorífico para que las cosas no se congelaran, pero entonces empezó a mantener las cosas demasiado calientes y empezó a actuar. Hoy en día no tengo el frigorífico en el ajuste más alto. Tiene números del 1 al 7 y el 7 es el más frío y yo lo mantengo en el 6. Desde que dejé de cambiar el dial de la temperatura entonces no hay más problemas. El frigorífico sólo me costó 399 dólares y merece la pena el dinero que he pagado por él.

It took me five loads to do all the laundry.The washer was white. It was very sleek and stylish. It was very easy to keep clean the buttons and dials on the washer were well displayed and marked with very legible labels. The washer ran great. We never had any problems with it until it finally broke down but that happened after we had the washer for over 10 years. It was worth every penny we paid for it.

Turns the tubing for the icemaker was incorrectly installed. In 2016 the ice maker worked but didnt dispense the ice. Had to have a technician fix that. Now in February 2017 I discovered the back of the refrigerator is rusted through and there is a hunk of ice on the back of the refrigerator. I purchased an extended warranty after the ice maker incident but Im now told that the fine print in the contract states that issues caused by rust are not covered. This refrigerator is only 4 years old. Ive had other refrigerators that have lasted me 20 yrs. Will NOT be buying another Kenmore!

My clothes always end up wonderfully clean as well as amazingly fresh before I put it into the dryer or hang my clothes out to clothes dry. I find that this type of washer that I own is really reliable because I can wash whatever I want whenever I need to without worrying if it will break down on me just like my last washer. I all around love using it. I will admit that the appearance brings me to be satisfied with the product however I would like the appliance to have more color. White and black are such dull colors these days. Its drab. When I first got this washer I though the price was too good to be true. Fortunately when the manager to the store confirmed that the price that was posted was certainly true, I decided to buy it right away.

Although this refrigerator is roomy, its hard to configure the shelving to hold tall items. Drawers have plenty of room for fruits and veggies. The freezer side has more than enough storage. Its sleek stainless steel. I am replacing my other appliances to match. Really good looking for an appliance. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to modernize their kitchen. Este horno lo compré sin verlo, ya que no había modelos de suelo disponibles. Instalado y con todos los cargos extras el costo fue de $1600. El horno en sí era 1499,00. Yo vivo en otra área, así que al visitar a mi madre y ver el nuevo horno que no tiene absolutamente NINGUNA CAMPANA O SILBA. Este es un horno básico de encendido y apagado y la parrilla. OH tiene un reloj ... ¡¡¡Que pedazo de basura!!! El diseño es estúpido con la parrilla en un cajón inferior, apenas se calienta lo suficiente en HI para asar nada, las esquinas de la puerta estaban astilladas, el vidrio del horno se empaña cuando se utiliza la parrilla, el indicador de temperatura está muy lejos en el horno, la instalación parece barata e incompleta. Si hubiera visto todo esto dentro del período de devolución de 30 días, este horno sería devuelto... Pero mi único recurso ahora es informar a cualquiera que pueda estar considerando este horno para que considere que el único pro... ¡es que es barato en todos los sentidos!

Hace un buen trabajo. No hace más de un año que lo tengo, pero tiene un aspecto muy limpio y hace un gran trabajo limpiando la vajilla. Los compartimentos del interior son agradables y fáciles de usar y contienen una gran cantidad de platos muy bien. Es de muy buen tamaño, se adapta muy bien al espacio que tengo para él, no es voluminoso y no ocupa demasiado espacio en la cocina. Funciona muy bien con la dimensión que queríamos. Me encanta su aspecto. Es realmente lo primero que me convenció, ya que quería algo sencillo y no demasiado desordenado con muchos botones en el exterior. Lo compré en una pequeña venta, pero al hablar con otros propietarios me pareció que había hecho un gran negocio, y definitivamente no me voy a quejar de eso.

Pero sería genial tener una característica como un altavoz wifi para que pueda escuchar música mientras se limpia sin tener que llevar el teléfono con usted, un marco de fotos digital, un control remoto para el control de la temperatura y el volumen de la música, descongelación automática en el congelador y una amplia gama de colores. También sería genial que tuviera un organizador con fotos en la tableta para que sólo tengas que hacer una selección de lo que quieres cocinar para la cena. Entonces sólo lo deposita en la ranura de la puerta y no deja salir el aire frío. Además, necesita una máquina de hielo, un congelador más grande y cajones. Y tal vez añadir una medida de seguridad mediante la adición de una cerradura de seguridad para niños en el mango y la alarma si las puertas se dejan abiertas. Incluso me gustaría que hubiera una forma de mantener los olores fuera del frigorífico para que nadie necesite más bicarbonato de sodio o una opción de autolimpieza para que el frigorífico tenga un olor más fresco. Tal vez puedan hacer un paquete con artículos de cocina como el frigorífico con el escurreplatos o con otro electrodoméstico. Pero, ¿por qué son tan caros los frigoríficos? Con estas ideas estoy seguro de que será muy caro, así que recomendaría un descuento de algún tipo y bajar el precio. Pero en general me gusta mucho esta nevera. Me encanta que es un poco espacioso. Se puede meter mucha comida sin ocupar todo el espacio. Ha cumplido mis expectativas y ha superado todas las demás. Definitivamente recomendaría este frigorífico a amigos y familiares.

Ive been using this brand for 30+ years. You cant beat it!! In 30 years Ive owned 4 of your washers and they were great and had little to no trouble with them!! I wouldnt change a thing except find a stronger more durable fiber to use for the belts!! They have a great look but the look is not as important as performance!!! But they look great and I wouldnt change a thing!! Keep up the great work. It is really a great value for the money. They last forever so it is totally worth it in the long run!! It kept my food cold. It never broke. It didnt smell too bad. It was reliable and simple. I could put magnets on it. It was a basic no nonsense fridge. It fit all the items I needed. It was an extra fridge we kept in the basement so it didnt need to hold too much. The freezer had a good amount of room. Space wasnt an issue. I wish it had been sleeker than the white appearance. Stainless steel is always nicer, but the appearance didnt really matter because it was in the basement. It was pretty valuable, did its job and did it well. It was functional and helpful as a product. I valued owning it. It was a good fridge.

Un técnico de terceros llegó hoy para la cita de servicio. Abrió la puerta y confirmó que el cristal estaba destrozado (buen trabajo genio) y me informó que las piezas tardarían dos semanas más en llegar. En mi opinión, si algo tan violento le ocurre a un producto, entonces diría que es defectuoso. He hablado con exactamente 10 representantes de Sears y Kenmore hoy y no he recibido ninguna ayuda para el reemplazo de mi estufa defectuosa. Incluso fui a la tienda donde la compré para pedir ayuda... Fue una pérdida de tiempo inútil. Incluso dos representantes me han dicho que por lo general se necesitan siete u ocho incidencias o llamadas de servicio antes de que consideren que un producto no se puede reparar y consideren su sustitución. This dishwasher is much better than my previous one. It uses less detergent and is more energy efficient. It is also much quieter than my last model. The interior racks also provide better loading arrangements. This model fit perfectly into my previous dishwashers slot. It seems to have more interior space and better design of the racks permitting better organization of dishes. I really like the streamlined appearance of this dishwasher. It has that fingerprint resistant stainless steel finish and is easy to keep clean. I am very satisfied with this unit. I felt that the price on this unit was a little high at first but after deciding on it and having used it I found it was totally worth it. Its efficiency and ease of use was totally worth the price.

Sears and Kenmore, once a reputable and reliable company selling quality products such as Kenmore, are now in my opinion in cahoots with each other and have degraded to scam artists out to rip off consumers. I am now completely skeptical with their business practices. I purchased a Kenmore 50 gallon 12 year water heater from Sears last year in June 2013 for $730. My second water heater purchase from them because my last water heater lasted for 9 years and never gave me any problems so I figured why not buy from them again. The 1 year warranty expired so I called my plumber to come out and fix the issue of the thermostat shutting down due to high temperatures for some reason. (The heat dial was never changed or adjusted.) My plumber came out and said he couldnt fix it because it was an electronic thermostat that he wasnt familiar with so I called Sears to ask about the product I purchased and that my plumber couldnt fix the problem. The Sear representative said that if I were to use another outside technician that the parts would not be warranted by Kenmore. (Okay why?) So I called Kenmore to ask about their warranty on the parts and was given the runaround with the automated system which always led me back to a Sears customer service representative. It was frustrating that I couldnt speak with someone from the Kenmore manufacturer.Since time was going by, I had no other choice but to get a Sears service technician out there to fix the problem because my tenants had no hot water. Sears said that any of the parts would be warranted and replaced without charge but there would be labor costs. When the Sears technician arrived, he notified me that the thermostat needed to get replaced with a new thermostat. I asked him what kind/brand was the old thermostat and what kind/brand is the new one because I wouldnt want the same one if the last one was defective or unreliable. He then went on to tell me that he wasnt actually going to be replacing the thermostat, but resetting it and needed to flush out the system due to build up of sediment. He also suggested that this sort of maintenance should be done every year. This ended up costing me around $280 for the reset and flush.I have never had to do this in the past with my water heater appliance. Not only am I pissed that this wastes a ton of water, but I’m also upset that a product like this was even designed and made. When did I buy an oversized Brita Filter for my house that needed flushing? The technician suggested that I purchase the Sears warranty so it wouldnt cost so much in the future. I ended up succumbed to buying a warranty because I supposedly have 9.5 years left on this product.I will never purchase a Kenmore product without reading the Consumer Affairs report on it. I did some investigation and further found out that my situation wasnt a special case. There were a number of complaints from other consumers who experienced the same exact thing. I filed a complaint (#**) with Sears and I will also report this to the Federal Trade Commission as suggested from another consumer post. I feel that this was worth sharing with others in case anyone is in the market of buying a new water heater. DO NOT BUY KENMORE or SHOP AT SEARS.

I am able to fit a lot of dishes in it, but I also dont want to overfill it because then Im afraid some of the dishes wont come out clean. Fits nicely in my kitchen and matches the rest of my stuff in the kitchen. Its really nice. It has stainless steel, makes some music noise when the wash is done with the dishes. It definitely was not a cheap dishwasher, it ended up being at the max of our budget that we saved for a dishwasher but it was all worth it.

Also, we arent sure if it was how the Sears installer installed it initially, but the water house fell off and flooded the kitchen and under the cabinet only 1 year after it was installed. The very expensive repairman says he sees the clamps fail frequently. It came with lots of useless thing-a-ma-jigs, that fall off and are not needed anyway. Touchscreen, stainless interior, streamline placement of controls, easy clean stainless exterior, quiet, sleek look shows smudges. Could be better design of dish placement. Its always nice to have more room. Modern, no knobs to have to clean around. Sears no longer has a team or repair services like the old days. Calls for help were not helpful. Try to upsell you instead of fixing flaws of dishwasher.

Ningún problema de mantenimiento ni nada. La unidad fue comprada en 1992 cuando compré la casa nueva y la tuve durante 13 años. La unidad tenía una máquina de hielo incorporada y tenía el dispensador de agua incorporado. El frigorífico parecía tener la altura adecuada tanto para mi mujer como para mí y nunca tuvimos problemas para entrar en el aparato ni para subir a él, ya que estaba cerrado por tres lados. Sin embargo, el frigorífico tenía una textura mate. Esta textura era difícil de mantener limpio debido a los hoyos en ella. Yo lo habría hecho con un acabado liso o que no tendría que preocuparse de usar un estropajo para llegar a la superficie y obtener las huellas dactilares y cosas supongo que para los niños fuera de, pero nunca hemos tenido ningún problema mecánico de la misma. Siempre parece funcionar de la manera que era. Nunca se sobrecalentó. Nunca tuve que llamar al técnico, así que estaba muy satisfecho con ella.

In 15 years, we have had the unit serviced twice. The first time was to replace/fix something in the ice maker which is a wonderful luxury feature, easy fix. The second time, the only issue was dust underneath the unit causing coils to malfunction. Tech cleaned it out, super easy fix, completely my fault. Please clean out underneath your fridge at least yearly. The quick and short of it is, my Kenmore unit has been rock solid for 15 years and is still running steady. Kenmore, good stuff.

Has 60 different options and combos to get your clothes clean. My favorite is the express wash. I always find something I need to wear but it dirty, 20 min later Im ready to go. They look nothing like the wash/dryer I grew up with. These machine are intuitive and really make laundry easy. I am saving money on detergent and water!!! Kenmore washers are reliable and last a very long time. The clothes always come out clean and fresh and dont seem to wear out as they are washed. Perhaps the best feature of the Kenmore washer is reliability. It is very rare for anything to break down and the clothes consistently come out nice and clean. The washer is a top-loading model which I prefer. I like the simple features and its easy to keep clean, as opposed to stainless steel which would be a nightmare to keep up. Kenmore washers are affordable and are a great value. Considering how long they last, and how little they need to be repaired... I highly recommend one.

Sears afirma no estar al tanto de este defecto aunque hay muchas quejas sobre este mismo problema en internet. El problema se debe a que las paredes del horno se arquean debido al uso y la limpieza regular del horno. Sears se niega a retirar el horno del mercado y se ha ofrecido a realizar una llamada de servicio a nuestro cargo, lo que ni siquiera garantiza que se pueda arreglar correctamente. Si esto fuera un coche, estoy seguro de que tendría que ser retirado del mercado, pero no creo que haya leyes de consumo adecuadas que cubran los electrodomésticos. Sears no respalda sus productos.

I have to say that it isnt too big or too small! It allows me to put the right amount of groceries I need and maybe a little extra. The color of the refrigerator is this amazing silver but it isnt a silver that is too bright almost like a fake looking silver. It is more like a grayish color. Its very attractive and easy to clean. We have called for a appliance tech, to come and see what was happening. The most times this would happen if I used any other setting except normal wash in the beginning. The tech couldnt see anything wrong. He didnt try putting it on wash while he was here. He didnt seem to have any idea about this product. After a couple of months going through the same thing we requested for a new washer while the warranty was still on it. Sears was months looking into the problem for us and every time we go and see them, they said finally we will be getting a new one. We never did get a new one and now the washer is worst than what it ever was. As of this weekend I am draining the water in a bucket so I can get my clothes out of the washer. Very dissatisfied customer...

The sheets arent ripped but these marks keep appearing - not sure if its the washer or dryer that causes this. I have Kenmore Elite machines purchased in 1999. These marks dont appear on my clothes. El lavavajillas es bonito, elegante y de aspecto limpio, encaja muy bien con los demás electrodomésticos y da un toque de elegancia a toda la cocina. Una muy buena relación calidad-precio, son de larga duración e incluso después de años de uso son problemas menores que se arreglan de forma barata, rápida, sencilla y fácil, por lo que nunca pierden realmente su valor.

La primera vez arreglamos los chorros que giraban y obtuvimos un tablero de control completamente nuevo ante la insistencia de la reparación de Sears. Dijeron que había que arreglar y no reemplazar. Luego tuvimos que arreglar las cestas ya que son baratas y se caen a pedazos. El siguiente problema es que no se bloquea en su sitio, por lo que no se puede utilizar. No volveré a comprar un electrodoméstico Kenmore. Una decepción total. ¡Gracias por hacer un producto terrible Kenmore!

Both worked very well for the first few years but the washer had problems toward the end in getting drained all the way. Had to replace some parts. Units worked good til the end and then they became so unreliable and slow that we ended up replacing them both and are happier now. Dont know why or how but they went bad. Appearance was fine. Dont expect that there is a whole lot of room there to change color and style is changing every day so stay informed and Im so sure you got it. Never got my moneys worth out of any washer. Dryers usually last but these seemed to run faster, harder and wear out quickly. I dont think I will buy again.

En segundo lugar, me encantó este refrigerador tanto que compré uno para nuestra casa de FL. Fue construido en 2018 y comprado en febrero de 2019. Sigue habiendo problemas con el compresor en los modelos más nuevos? El segundo, una parte de la rejilla se pudrió en seco y compré la pieza en eBay por 25 dólares y la arreglé. El tercer año, el termopar se fue y otra vez lo reemplacé yo mismo. $50. Este es el cuarto año que hemos tenido esto y el panel de control no se enciende y parece que es una de las dos piezas de $ 130. Me rindo y buscaré un nuevo lavavajillas. No lloraré cuando Sears cierre. Aumenten sus estándares de calidad de fabricación y respalden sus productos. Es tan obvio que no se para que les pagan a los CEOs.

Refrigerator had enough room for all the items you would find in a refrigerator. Large drawers and adjustable shelves to fit large 2 liter bottles. The refrigerator was pretty plain in appearance so it didnt especially stand out but I enjoyed the subtle look to my Kenmore refrigerator. The Kenmore refrigerator will cost you more in the pocketbook but the increased cost assures you that you have purchased a quality refrigerator.

Lo primero que sucedió varias veces fue que en el horno inferior más grande las rejillas del horno se salían de las ranuras dentro de la estufa y en mi ocasión me quemé el brazo. Me puse en contacto con Sears varias veces con esa preocupación. Sin embargo, no recibí respuesta alguna. La estufa ya no estaba en garantía. Preguntaba si alguien más se había quemado a causa de este defecto en el horno. He seguido teniendo problemas con la convección que sólo funciona la mitad del tiempo, así como el horno superior que quema la parte inferior de todo. Sé que es hora de invertir en un nuevo horno. Sólo que no pensé que tendría que hacerlo después de sólo 5 años y a un costo de $1600.00.

Paso más tiempo limpiando la máquina y sobre lavando la ropa que nunca. He utilizado todos los detergentes para la ropa. Desde el primer día las toallas apestan. He probado el bicarbonato de sodio, los limpiadores de la lavadora, usar menos limpiador y añadir perlas perfumadas. Llamar al servicio de atención al cliente fue una broma. Cada vez que me decían que probara algo o que limpiara el desagüe. Les dije que ya lo había hecho. No les importaba. Maldigo esta máquina cada vez que la uso. Tan pronto como el agua golpea una toalla limpia huele como si acabara de salir del cesto. Si vas a la tienda Sears y abres la máquina huele dentro del cargador frontal. Así es como olerán tus toallas.

This is the exact same circumstances that occurred during the recall as report in recall #13-073. Washer purchased new in Jan 2013. I will never buy another appliance from Sears, not to buy and will tell friends and family and social media. Sears do not stand behind the product that they are selling... I will never buy another Kenmore not because of the problem but because of the lack of support behind the product. With all the complaints they received, neither Sears nor Kenmore stepped up to resolve this issue.

The freezer has enough room to take advantage of any sale you come across. The frigerated part has enough room to do the same. Coming in either black or white it goes with any decor that you may have. It as well has a number of shelves inside. It as well has a couple crispers. I find good value in the fact that I have had it a number of years problem free. I as well find extreme value in the fact it does have enough room to allow me to take advantage of a good sale.

Es y siempre ha sido una marca fiable que ha demostrado durar más que otras marcas llamadas fiables y siempre se ha vendido a un precio razonable. Tenerlo es conveniente. Puedo usarlo para almacenar y no utiliza una cantidad excesiva de agua y no es excesivamente ruidoso cuando funciona, así que puedo disfrutar de la televisión mientras trabaja para mí y puedo estar relajado al final del día. No tengo ningún problema con ella, pero me gustaría que utilizara menos agua y electricidad porque ambas son un elemento caro donde vivo.

El aspecto del lavavajillas era muy bonito y elegante, con un brillo profesional. Personalmente me encantó su aspecto, al igual que cualquier otro lavavajillas de esta marca. La relación calidad-precio del lavavajillas era realmente buena porque el precio estaba dentro de mi rango de precios y no tuve ningún problema con el coste porque era un precio muy justo que me encantó.

To add insult to injury one of their affiliates by name Intelfix paid $100 deductible to them and still they have not fixed my appliance nor replace and whenever we call they will give us a run around. I cant believe we have all of our appliances from the scam of a company called Sears/Kenmore.

We never had a major problem with either appliance. We replaced them with a different brand, and we wish we had keep the old appliances. Our clothes do not get as clean, even with using special detergent pods with cleaning boosters. The new dryer goes crazy and either doesnt dry the clothes thoroughly or runs too long. I cannot say it enough -- WE SHOULD HAVE STUCK WITH KENMORE!

Old machine but is reliable and gets the job done well. Ive been using Kenmore appliances for a few years now and have never been disappointed with its performance. I know that every time I use it my clothes will come out clean with almost no lint left on them. It also isnt as loud as other machines out there. Standard look, not an eyesore in any way but not fancy either, it has the simple yet efficient look of dependability. It is all white and easy to clean or wipe down if detergent is spilled on it, good size so doesnt take up too much space in the garage. I bought this maybe 4-5 years ago and it still is working as good as the first year of owning it. The newer models look nice and have more features, but if this one gives me 5+ more years, Im satisfied with the model I currently have.

Likely, the big problem is too many bells and whistles. Give me a big machine with simple electronics, or better yet how about the old agitators which may not have held as much, but cleaned the clothes and had hardly any problems.
