On 21 August 2011, we returned home from after a weekend away and noticed that our Sears Kenmore refrigerator (Model: 71309) was not working at all. We have purchased this appliance in June of 2009 with a three year extended warranty. We assumed that since the manufacturer warranties the appliance for the first year, our protection would begin once that ended. Clearly, we were misinformed at the time of our purchase. The entire contents of the freezer/refrigerator were lost. We placed a call to 1-800-4MY-HOME and were informed that our protection agreement expired on 30 June 2011 (not quite two months prior). We were told at that time that a technician could not even come to look at the refrigerator until 09 September 2011. When asked if there was any way someone could come and, at least, look at it before then to determine what was wrong, we were told no. On 22 August 2011, I called 1-800-4MY-HOME again to try to discuss any possible options since we buy all of our appliances from Sears. Meanwhile, I had to have another company come out to look at the unit for $89.00 to, at least, find out what was wrong. They came on on 24 August 2011 and determined that the mother board fuse was blown and a whole new mother board must be installed.On 22 August 2011, I spoke with Ella after calling the 1-800 number. Ella was helpful. She informed me that we could purchase a one year extension for our appliance for $163.98. I asked if we could possibly have a courtesy extension to help move the service request along and perhaps avoid the $89.00 fee for someone else to come and look at the refrigerator, she advised no. Once we paid the one year extension of $163.98, we could schedule an emergency service call where someone would come out within five days. I asked why we were not notified that our warranty was going to expire, and was told that no notification was being sent out. Only as a courtesy, we were given the option of extending for the $163.98. I then asked if we could schedule the emergency service first and then my fiance would just call back to give our credit card information. She said no and that we must call back and pay the extension first before we could schedule. My fiance called back that same day and was given an extremely hard time. At first, they told him that the amount to pay was $251.00. He said that I had just called an hour or so ago and was told $163.98. He was told again that it was $251.00. He called me to ask who I spoke with and I advised him that it was Ella. Finally, after being transferred three times, the amount of $163.98 was found to be the amount to pay. Then, when tried to activate the Emergency Service call, they told him that no one could come out until 07 September. He said that there should be a note saying that we are requesting an emergency service because we had been without the refrigerator since 21 August 11. Reluctantly, a call was scheduled for 29 August 2011 between 1 - 4. We asked that a note be put on the account stating that this could not be cancelled. On 29 August 2011, after taking the afternoon off from work, we received a call at 3:30 saying that the technician had called out sick and they had to cancel the appointment. (Why wait until 3:30?) Then, we asked, Does it say that this appointment cannot be cancelled? The reply was, Yes, but there was no technician available to come. They could reschedule for 30 August 2011 between 1 - 4 again. We were not happy but we agreed. I also called to inquire about the food we lost and was told to give the list to the technician. He would have to call the food loss department and verify a few things.On 30 August 2011, at about 3:45, we received the call that the technician was running much too late to get there, asking if could they reschedule. My fiance had been home since 1:00 p.m. After he informed me of this, I called the escalated customer solutions phone number and was treated with no respect stating that we were given the option of cancelling. This was done if your customers had to go back to work or had other plans. I said that the technician wanted to cancel the appointment again. It was already too late to return to work and we had taken two half days already. This was unacceptable. I advised that I didnt care how late they were going to be. I would be there and I wanted a technician to arrive, prepared to fix my refrigerator. The lady on the phone reluctantly checked with scheduling and I was told that someone would be there that day. She could not give me a time, though.I left work and headed home. Half way home, my fiance called to say that the technician arrived at 4:20 and was there for 9 minutes. The technician determined that the mother board was blown, had to order a part, and no one could come back until 14 September to install it (This was Karl from the Blue team). Karl then proceeded to tell my fiance that if he was handy with a screwdriver (since the part was being mailed to our home), my fiance could open up the back of the refrigerator and install the part himself. Wouldnt this void my warranty that I just purchased? He then said that the part would arrive Thursday to our home. My fiance stated that he was not going to install it himself and when he said that he had the food list to give to the technician to call the food loss department, Karl said that he couldnt take that list. It wouldnt be covered anyway, and there was nothing he could do. We would have to wait until the unit was repaired to even attempt to call it in. My fiance was at a loss of words. Karl left after being there for a total of 9 minutes. My fiance called me as I was still on my way home so I attempted to call Sears again and tried to explain that I was extremely dissatisfied with the events that took place. I was told to hold and the line got disconnected. (It was 4:45 when I called). When I called back, I was told that the offices were closed until 8:00 a.m. the next morning. Needless to say, I was not very happy. When I arrived home, I was shocked to find in the mail a renew your warranty letter. The worst part? It said that I had until 03 October 2011 to renew. The cost? $130.00, which was $35.00 cheaper than what we had paid. I am finding all of this to be a huge game being played by Sears. The notice led me to believe that I was covered until 03 October, and to renew, all I had to do was reply and pay $130.00. But I had been disconnected earlier.At 8:00 a.m. on 31 August 2011, I was calling the escalated number once again. The person who answered, after asking for my phone number, did not even let me talk. She said, I see here that there is an emergency part ordered for you and it will be delivered tomorrow. I asked about the 14 September 2011 installation and why was I disconnected last night. She said, Hold on. No, we can have someone there Saturday. I dont know what 14 September you are talking about. I tried to explain what had happened but she said, I can read it all right here, no need. Is Saturday okay for you? Between 9 - 11? I said yes, but... She interrupted me and promptly said, Have a nice day, thank you for calling Sears, and hung up. I have never been so insulted by this entire process. At this point, if the technician does not arrive on Saturday, I would like my refrigerator replaced with a three year warranty.As a bright note, I called the food loss department myself on 1 September 2011. I spoke with Ashley, who was, I must say, amazing. I told her the whole story and asked if the department would be open on Saturday so the technician could call-in the food loss as I was instructed. She said, No, but I can see what a problem you have been having. She proceeded to process the food loss claim without any problems. She was absolutely amazing, nice and helpful. If my whole experience was like this, I would not have been so angry.On Friday, 02 September 2011, we received a call confirming our appointment for Saturday 03 September between 8 - 12. So, by 12:05, when no one had arrived, called or anything, I called the escalated number that I had been calling all week. They informed me that my account was locked and it had been referred to corporate with a case manager. They could not help me other than to pass my number along and have someone call me back within two hours. I expressed my extreme displeasure and the representative informed me that she understood and would have the corporate case manager call me.I decided to call the number that had confirmed our appointment just to ask why no one had appeared at our house. After holding for 17 minutes, the representative informed me that my appointment was cancelled. I said, What? Who cancelled it? You confirmed it yesterday. She said, Well that is an automated call. I said that I didnt care if it was automated or not. It was confirmed, and this is an emergency call that has been an emergency for a long time. I asked to speak to the person who decided to cancel this without letting us know and after holding for a considerable amount of time, my call was disconnected.I called the escalated number and after holding for 15 minutes, I was informed again that my account was locked and referred to corporate. The representative assured me that she would take my number to her manager (who would get in touch with the case manager) and someone would call me back shortly. I had been at home waiting since 8:00 a.m. and it was now 2 p.m.Then, I received a call from case manager Edwins assistant**. She stated that she reviewed my case and that she understood my frustration. Edwin would contact me today. I explained that I would have never known the appointment had been cancelled had I not called them several times. I informed her that I was completely aggravated and that I could no longer afford to take any time from work. It has been 17 days without a refrigerator, I have been hung up on, given more excuses that I can count and lost time from work. I wanted either someone to come on my time to install the part or I wanted the refrigerator picked up and have my money refunded. At this point, I dont want anything from Sears in my home since its nearly impossible to get it fixed or get any help on an emergency situation. Ive had to eat out for three weeks, which I cannot afford. I cant go another day without a refrigerator.As I am typing this email, I received a call from a technician that he was at our home to install a part. I am flabbergasted. I informed him that someone was supposed to be there on Saturday but no one showed up. There was no one home today. He said, So, you are telling me that I cant install this? I said, That is what I am telling you. No one showed up on Saturday and we found out that it was cancelled after six hours of waiting. He said, I just install parts. I dont know anything else. I said, Well, there is no one home. No one knew you were coming. I know that its not your fault but this has been escalated to corporate. No one can get there because we had no idea you were coming.At 9:45, Rowland in routing just called me apologizing. He informed me that someone cancelled the appointment for Saturday, set it up for today without letting anyone know and that should not have happened. He doesnt understand why but he realizes that this was the wrong thing to do. He said that he can have someone come first appointment on Wednesday, 07 September 2011. Meanwhile, I still have no phone call from the case manager or corporate offices. This is completely unacceptable!Today, 07 September 2011, I just got off the phone with 1-800-469-4663 since Rowland informed me that we would be first on the appointment. But now, they informed me that I am on the schedule for tomorrow between 8 - 12. How much longer is this going to go on? I still have not received satisfaction/ resolution from the case manager. I still do not have a working refrigerator (this is Day 19) and again, we are being pushed off until another day. I feel like this is being treated as a joke. This is still completely unacceptable. I am tired of hearing we are sorry, this is beyond being sorry.

This washer was bought because Kenmore is a trusted brand and it was affordable. It�€�s a top loader. Simple stains don�€�t come out, the agitator is very slow and doesn�€�t grasp all the clothes and the water doesn�€�t fill beyond your clothing. Wouldn�€�t recommend.

I have had a Kenmore washer and dryer for over 13 yrs, they are still working and I like them. I have a Kenmore front loader, HE washer and it is still going strong after 13 years. I have a large Kenmore dryer that works well.

This washer has had a much larger workload than I intended when I bought it 2 1/2 years ago (7 adults), and it is still as quiet and reliable as the day I hooked it up. And with all the setting levels available, it has always done an outstanding job of actually getting our construction-worker clothes clean as new. Has done an average of eleven loads a week for 2 1/2 years and still runs and cleans like new: even for the three of us construction workers, two car mechanics, and two ladies in the house. Its appearance is modern, but without looking like an airliner cockpit with all those confusing lights and controls that youll never use. After 2 1/2 years of washing for seven adults without a single breakdown, it still performs like new. I think weve already got our moneys worth out of it.

Works well, refrigerator side keeps cool with adjustable temperature. Freezer side cools fast. Ice machine works very well. No reliability issues. Freezer side has four or five compartments. Refrigerator side has lots of bin space and storage on the back of the door. Easy to move along the floor. Refrigerator has a nice stainless steel front with two long stainless steel handles for the freezer and refrigerator section. Ice maker dispenser is all black. Overall is a good value since it has good reliability, a nice modern stainless steel appearance, good storage space in both sections, and a functional ice dispenser.

The washer wasnt the most high-tech washer Ive ever seen, but it does its job. Ive found a lot of newer washers dont last as long but this one has lasted and cleans clothes thoroughly. Traditional white washer. Nothing extra special. It looks like a washer, but it goes with my dryer. It was expensive, but not unreasonable for a washer. It runs well and lasts, so for me it is worth the money. I would buy this washer again but maybe a newer version.

The fridge is 5 years old and all the plastic parts of broken by this point, they are very cheaply made. And then they want $70 for a new crisper drawer? Really? But you are stuck. Someone should look into a class action suit.

These are quality built machine that last for years and clean very well. Even the simplest of the machines do a very good job of getting your clothes clean. These machines are very reliable and in the rare occasion that something does break, the parts are easy to find. They have been around for years and are very reliable. Its good for the simplest loads up to the dirtiest ones. Machines are quiet and work very well. Durable. I would recommend.

It is efficient. Cooling is very good. Keeps vegetables and perishable fresh for reasonable long period. Sufficient place to store things. Freezer chest is spacious and maintains excellent temperature. It is 18 cu ft. space is sufficient for a family of four. Can store vegetables, meat, chicken, turkey, beer, soda, and many other items. Plenty of shelf space. It is an attractive looking unit. Has gray color and has freezer compartment and larger regular cooling compartment. It is not too tall so we can store light things on top of it. It has excellent value. After a careful use of even five to ten years it commands a very good resale value. I never had any part go bad even after prolonged use.

I do not have a Kenmore at this time but have had Kenmores in the past. The washing machines are very reliable. One of the Kenmores I had was a suds saver. I dont believe they make that particular model anymore but the suds saver feature was great because you could recycle the water which always helps save money especially in urban areas where water can cost a lot of money. I did not purchase a Kenmore the last time I bought a washing machine... after my machine of 15 years started to eat my clothes but not because it wasnt a great machine. I just found a much better deal as a friend was moving and had a machine she wanted to sell. Please note: My fridge is a Kenmore!

I loved my old kenmore fridge, it worked great for many years! It had easy to use temp controls and plenty of space. The only reason I didnt buy kenmore when it was time to buy new was because they were out at the outlet.

Excellent performance. The refrigerator perform very well, it doesnt make any noisy sound and runs smoothly. Consumes less energy and keeps food well. The size of refrigerator is Very well designed and meets my size requirements. The refrigerator fitted well in my kitchen in allocated space. I bought white refrigerator to match with my kitchen wall color and I am happy with its color and appearance. The color looks good in my kitchen and it has provided quite authentic look to my kitchen. Depending upon features and overall performance of the refrigerator, I am satisfied with the price I paid for the refrigerator. Its an energy saver and saves quite on my monthly energy bills.

Clothes come out very clean, never backs up or becomes uneven. Doesnt use an abundance of electricity or water. Large enough to wash comforters and bedspreads in easily. Can do a couple sets of sheets, whole load of towels. I wash a lot of clothes and usually have an overloaded clothes basket but never have a problem with fitting anything in it. White machines can get dusty very easily, especially with the dryer right next to it but it is very easy to clean inside and out. No rust whatsoever. Didnt have to pay an arm and a leg for a good washing machine. Have had it for quite a while and have never had any issues with it, which is amazing considering how much it gets used (which is daily, if not twice a day).

Big enough to fit where I need it without getting in the way. Top fits enough freezer items and bottom is big enough for all cold food to be stored. Drawers and shelves are plentiful. Outside is white and easy to wipe down. Inside is white with many plastic drawers and shelving units that can be adjusted to needs. Shelves on sides are big enough to hold multiple items. Very good value for what is needed. Can be used for primary or secondary food storage. Performance is great and reliable. Would highly recommend for kitchen or garage.

It works well for us. It is a spare refrigerator for our garage. No performance concerns. Temp stays cold and havent experienced any problems so far. We use this mainly for beverages. So for our use, the size is sufficient. May be a bit small if a family is using as their only refrigerator. So obviously it isnt anything too fancy. However, it has a nice clean look. Matches other white appliances nicely. No complaints from me. Very good value for a midrange refrigerator. Again, this is what we use in our garage for beverages and some additional storage on holidays and such. Pleased with this refrigerator.

I washed large loads of laundry at least three times a week. This washers endurance was incredible. Load after load it kept up for quite a few years and never tore any clothes or ruined them. This washer is very reliable. My husband works in a warehouse so we needed a washer that could handle all his grimy clothes but gentle enough for our daughters clothes and this washer was amazing at handling all aspects. Top load white washer with easy control settings for small, medium, large and heavy, light, or gentle load. Crisp white clean design and easy to fit into any regular sized laundry room. I got mine on sale which it practically was a steal. Very affordable for the everyday working adult. It looks like it would cost way more than it does. Amazing quality for a great price.

Freezer performs well, icemaker makes lots of ice, I never run out. The fridge is evenly cold and roomy, drawers slide well. I have 2 kids, and they are in and out of the fridge and it maintains an even temperature. This is the perfect size for a family of four although I would say that side by side do limit you somewhat in what you can freeze in the freezer. I ended up buying a secondary freezer, a Kenmore!! But for everyday life this is perfect. This fridge has a sleek and modern look that looks nice in most any kitchen today. It does smudge, so you will have to buy stainless steel cleaner. Value is really in the eye of the beholder but when you factor in the looks, size, and performance for the price you pay you cant go wrong.

The Sears Kenmore washers and dryers Ive owned have been reasonably priced, of heavy duty construction, and lasted many years of hard service. Sears service dept has always been very responsive to my needs and have responded quickly with any service my appliances have required.

The refrigerator has been a great investment for me in my house. It works well and has a nice ice maker to go with it. It fits all my groceries and I always have plenty of extra space to put things freezer for around the holidays and for extra meals and it has an extra large freezer. It is a beautiful, steel colored fridge that has a great look to it, too. It goes well with my kitchen colors as well as my appliances. The value of the fridge was worth the amount I paid for it. I would recommend this brand to someone that needed a refrigerator. If I ever decide I need a new fridge I would probably buy the same make and model.

Model 10673206300 - mom and I purchased this in 2005. Was told by salesman that this should last without problems for 15 to 20 yrs. Explained to clerk that week - really needed something to suit our needs. We are both disabled and live on a fixed income. We purchased the warranty and early on in 2005, the drawers had to be replaced. For the past month the fridge has leaked off and on. We attempted to repair but was unable. Called sears today - they want $75.00 to diagnose and was also told it would probably be $200.00. Or I could sent Sears $39.99 monthly and pay only $60.00 for the diagnosis. I was struck by the fact that the first question asked by automated system is ...is fridge leaking? Lets me know that sears is aware of this defective product. NEVER AGAIN Will I BUY FROM SEARS.

I purchased a Kenmore Refrigerator September 2011. It is Jan 2015 and repairman is telling me compressor has failed on this product for which I spent $1838.66 cash. Who would think after only 3 yrs this would occur, my 15 y.o refrigerator was still working when Sears delivered this piece of big metal box!!! and took the old one away. I am seeing online that this is happening to quite a number of consumers, some compressors are even failing at 2 yrs and less. Why is Consumer Affairs and/or the Consumer Protection Agency letting Sears/Kenmore get away with this? Shouldnt there be a class action lawsuit against a manufacturer who is selling a product knowing it is failing like this? I have spoken to several people and supervisors at Sears repair today and each has tried to show me with the Well we offered you a resolution, the resolution is to spend 1/3rd ($600) the cost of the refrigerator to let Sears repair it!!! (what a joke/gimmick) ...and being told I should have bought the protection warranty. If I would have thought for a moment a Sears refrigerator would fail the major part of its works in 3 years, most manufacturers give 5 yrs, I would have gone elsewhere to purchase. My thought was by the time I would need repairs I would be ready for a newer model anyway. My mothers Kenmore is now over 30 yrs old, my sisters is over 10. I will never buy another Sears product and will be sure to inform and warn everyone in my social media circle that Sears is no longer the company we grew up with and not to purchase their products because they do not stand behind them and will rip you off for more money on any appliance you buy from them..

It worked really well except the shelves kept breaking on the door. It kept veggies and fruits, and lunch meat cold in the bottom drawers but be careful not to turn too cold because if you put anything on the top shelf too cold it will freeze. It was good for when I needed it. Freezer is small but fridge part is big enough to put gallon milk on bottom shelf. A little too small for my family of 5. It would get overstuffed with groceries and leftovers. It was white with freezer and fridge. It had glass shelves and two drawers in the bottom of the fridge for meats and veggies. The bottom above the drawers was plastic and breaks easy. The door of the fridge, the guards break off easy. It was a good value for a small family or starting out with a basic fridge. It held a good amount of food but the freezer... it was very small basically for ice and a few meats.

I have had this washer (Kenmore 50.0 washer top loader) for one year. They have been back to fix it for the fourth time for the same thing! I dont get it, you pay to have the warranty, they come to your house, and are back for the exact same thing. They arent fixing the problem. I tried to talk to the repairman and in his words, Lady, anything you buy nowadays is junk. He even told me that whoever I called and complained about my problem, they dont want to hear it, so they tell you to talk to the repairman about it to get the monkey off their back. Real nice Sears! I wont be buying another thing from you. You dont show up when you�€�re supposed to and just feed you a line. Im done and wont recommend you to anyone.

Kenmore Elite Washing Machine - We received the recall notice, and even though we have experienced no issues with our washing machine since we purchased it several years ago, my husband called to schedule the service because it was a safety recall. The technician came out on February 8th and slowed the speed of the spin cycle on the bulky items selection. The first time I washed clothes after that, I had multiple UE (unbalanced error) and it actually took one cycle 2 hours and 45 minutes before I could finally get the clothes clean and rinsed somewhat, and then spun out and into the dryer. I tried several other cycles, selecting different spin speeds, and never could wash a load without standing around redistributing the clothes in the tub. My husband called again and they sent a different technician on February 18th, who ran diagnostics and said the tests showed nothing was wrong. He advised me on how to wash clothes - two of each item, large loads, etc. - and said there appeared to be nothing wrong after he ran a partial cycle with no clothes in the washer. He instructed me to let it finish and then he closed the ticket. Today, once again, all my weekly loads had UE multiple times during the cycles. My husband called Sears again and it will be two more weeks - now it will be March - before they can send another technician. The lady offered him a discount on a new washing machine if he wanted to replace this one! Needless to say, my advice is dont call and have the reprogramming done if you havent experienced the issues described in the recall notice.

The Kenmore Dishwasher is easy to use and works well. Weve had it for a few years now and it still works great. It cleans the dishes with no problem. Very seldom do we have to re-wash the dishes when we pull them out. It is big enough that we can do a whole load from one regular size family meal, although we do have to wait a while in between if we have more dishes than room. It has a classic and smooth look. It can go in anyone�€�s kitchen in the end no matter what. It doesnt stand out but at the same time it gets noticed. The value wasnt so much that it broke the bank but we did have to save up for it and I do hope we dont have to buy a new one anytime soon as we couldnt afford that.

The machine is easy to use, dishes are spotless. Long lasting use and hardly ever malfunctions. Can clean delicate glass, China, ceramic, plastic and woods. I am satisfied with the product and would buy another if mine broke down. It fits really well under the counters and installs very well against the wall. Its a good size to move around to install and the inside fits a good amount of dishes all shapes and sizes. The color fits well with other appliances I own and looks nice against my counter tops. Its also easy to keep clean and wipe down. Out of the many colors they sold, black fit best with what I already had. The washing machine was a reasonable value for shipping and installing. Its easy to maintain and keep running and lasts longer. The washing machine was definitely worth the market value.

Its a wonderful dishwasher that gets my dishes spotless. Id recommend it to anyone. Its very shiny and nice. If you want clean dishes then its what you should get. I can fit all of my pots and pans and bowls in this washer. My family and friends are always amazed by the amount of dishes Im able to do in one load. Its enormous! The steel finish is so beautiful. Not only is the finish impeccable, but its easy to clean and doesnt keep fingerprints like my other steel appliances. This dishwasher was a great deal. And it has stayed economical because it saves on water. Im able to do more dishes quickly. Woo! A nice washer all around.

I cant complaint. I have had these machines for more than 5 years now. They still work perfectly fine. My washing machine and dryer were both used from another person so they are older than 5 years. I loved them.

My wife and I purchased this 2700.00 Elite refrigerator 79574043.411 from Sears in July 2016. In August 2018 it stopped working. I called Sears on August 4 and I was told they could not come to my home to diagnose the problem until August 17. Meanwhile all my food had spoiled. I had a home warranty. They were able to come out to my home on August 8 (5 days later). They said the unit had a leak and all the Freon had escaped. The appliance repair said Sears would cover the parts but they couldn�€�t repair/touch as it would void the Sears warranty. So I called Sears. They said yes that it�€�s covered under warranty but I would have to pay the labor and wait until August 17, 2018. After multiple phone call to overseas customer service, they finally agreed to come to my house that day.The friendly technician arrived today. They said that my compressor went out - not Freon issue. Said the parts are covered but labor will cost me 345 dollars. They said they can�€�t come back for 2.5 - 3 weeks. I scheduled and paid the costs but who knows. So basically this 3,000 refrigerator is costing me a ton of money and time without refrigerator. I think they need. Way to go Sears - now you know why you�€�re still in financial ruin.

I bought this fridge brand new and have had it for 9 years with no problems. Then out of nowhere my son and I came in the house in the middle of the day and my son smelled something burning. He looked towards the fridge and smoke was coming out of the ice maker. We got up and opened the freezer door of the fridge, and there was a full blown fire coming from around the ice maker mechanism. We put the fire out and unplugged the fridge. What kept running through our minds was, what if we werent home or what if this had happened at night while we were all sleeping. After I took the ice maker mechanism off I could see that there were bare wires that might have caused the fire. Very scary.

Water get off grease and everything thats stuck on pot after cooking to make it better. I do not have to do the work of getting the dishes clean. Fit perfect in my small kitchen and its very discrete. No one notice that its there and blends very well with my other appliances. Love the look and the size. Cant put a price on love, cant put a price on what makes your life easy. One less chore is worthy of my $600. Just having to pack the dishes and walk away I would pay an extra 200.

We have had a Kenmore washing machine and a Kenmore dryer for ten to eleven years and our Kenmore washing machine is still working exceptionally well. And the Kenmore dryer we have, had it ten to eleven years and it still works good.

I have a top load Kenmore elite washer. I bought it a couple of years ago replacing a 12 year old Whirlpool. It has been a real pain due to constant UE error (out of balance) about 50 to 70% of the time and usually when its with towels and jeans. I am very close to replacing (not Kenmore). I never had such a problem before.

The refrigerator was pretty big, with lot of space and room for every product I buy. It was a good fridge too... With different level of coldness. The price was good and for a good value.

Horno Kenmore Modelo 790.9745 - Compramos nuestra casa en julio de 2014 y no nos dimos cuenta en ese momento de que faltaba el cristal frontal del horno. We bought our brand new Kenmore Elite just 2 years ago and it suddenly stopped working. After waiting 2 weeks for the repairman to show up, he tells us it is the compressor that went. He tells us it is under warranty, however the cost to install will be $380. He says that the actual manufacturer is LG. We thought it was Whirlpool. We would NEVER had gone with LG as our choice. Our refrigerator still looks BRAND NEW, however the repairman says he can�€�t guarantee the new compressor won�€�t break again because they are junk products from LG. Don�€�t buy Kenmore products.

Aterrorizó a mi esposa, y tuvimos vidrio sobre todo en la cocina incluso muy por encima del nivel de la puerta... mostradores, cuadros en la pared, etc. El personal de Sears-Kenmore fue muy poco servicial en lo que respecta al servicio de la garantía y a las medidas correctivas. Always cleans my dishes consistently good, quiet performance. I never have had an issue with my dishwasher breaking down. Even if my dishwasher is overfilled, my dishes are always clean and my glasses are always spot free. My dishwasher is built in at my apartment although from the outside you would think it was small but I have never had an issue with all of my dishes not fitting. It fits well in my kitchen. My dishwasher is very appealing to the eye, its sleek and fits well in my kitchen. Its white in color which goes with the theme in my kitchen. My dishwasher to me is invaluable. I hate manually washing dishes so to me having a reliable, strong dishwasher is huge. I would highly recommend this dishwasher to anyone.

Do NOT buy this refrigerator! I purchased the Kenmore Elite Bottom Freezer Refrigerator (Model 79574043410) in April 2015 from Sears. In the first month the fan quit working. Had that repaired. It is now 27 months later and the compressor has quit. Dead. This happened on a Thursday and a repair person could not be scheduled to come out until Tuesday. They do NOT work weekends! Fortunately I kept calling until they agreed to come on Monday. As I suspected and reported to them it was indeed the compressor. As stated by the service technician they have been having quite a few compressors on these go out. The compressor would have to be ordered and supposedly would be in by Wednesday but they cannot schedule a repair appointment in advance until they actually have the part. It is now Thursday, a week from my initial request for repair and there is no compressor in sight. Hence no repair in sight as yet either. Luckily I purchased the extended warranty but in hindsight I am now stuck with this worthless appliance until 2020. I had to pay extra for counter depth when purchasing it and to now have a 2 yr old refrigerator with a dead compressor is despicable. By the way the max food loss allowance is $250.00 for a claim. I will never again buy another Kenmore product nor from a company that cannot reasonably get the parts and fix it in a timely manner!

Cleans great. Washes and extracts perfectly. I have used the dryer for less time and clothes come out very clean. I would recommend. Great value/great price. The large load fits a lot of clothes. It keeps up with my household of two men, one teen and one female. And football uniform items. Few washes a day and never lets me down. It is not a fancy front loader but I prefer the top loads. It has everything I need and is a very nice washer. It is simple but what I need. The price was excellent. Great value for a great washer. It is one of the cheaper styles but like I said it has everything I need for a great price.

Dont overload and use powdered detergent to keep the smells down. A good basic washer that got me through the births of both of my kids. Now my baby is about to graduate from college so that washer is long gone but I have fond memories. It was reliable. Put the clothes in and the detergent and about an hour later, clean clothes came out and I liked the fact that the water would start filling the tub with the lid open so pre-treating was easier. Rather simple and to the point. No flash or extra cycles that never get used, just the basic wash options like what people use on a daily basis. Since its rather basic, the price reflected that and it was very affordable. And since it was a Kenmore, it was a good purchase.

I like how it washing my clothes. I like how the product is made. I like how I can use the product. I can use it all the time cause it cleans my clothes. I will never change the product name. I will use it all the time. It product is very reliability. I know that if I told my friends they would use the product too. I know I can make sure it would clean my clothes the way I like it. I like how they help you out the service that needs to be done on the products and I know it will last for a long time and I know it will work like new if I had it a for a long time. Its very easy to use, affordable, great quality and gets the job done right. The best washer Ive owned. The Kenmore washer is very reliable. At the rate its going I wouldnt be surprised if it lasts forever. The best brand out there in my opinion. My Kenmore washer isnt one of the newer fancy models but I still love it. Its not hideous. Just not fancy either. The Kenmore washer I have was definitely worth every penny. Id recommend it to any and everyone whos looking to buy a washer. And they last a long time.

This washer had a strong agitation cycle and I never needed a repair. Easy to use knobs. Never had to explain how to turn it on. My clothes always came out smelling good and looking fresh. I could wash a decent sized load of dirty clothes in this washer. I never needed a repair and the agitation was strong and reliable. The water flowed freely and the knobs were easy to understand. This washer was a simple washer in looks. Even though I could have gone for something more spacey and futuristic in looks I was very happy with its performance and easy to understand knobs. Looks arent everything. I think in this day and age we spend too much money on things that break down over time. This washer was sturdy and reliable and I never needed a repair so I am satisfied with the amount of money I paid for it.

This is a great appliance by a trusted brand. It is the best one I have ever had and never quit at all. It kept all my food at the right temperature and everything tasted great. It was the perfect size. The shelves were just right and I could get everything into it just right. Good looking appliance too. Easy to keep clean and wipes clean very easy with a wet rag. Spills are easy to clean up and anyone would be happy to have this. It was a little expensive but worth it. You have to pay a little more for quality and you get what you pay for. This is a trusted brand and has been for the past 15 years.

Top-loading High efficiency low-water washer, model #110.2713*410, series 600S. This washer has a deep fill option which you can only use on a few cycles. Machine does not cover clothes enough to clean them even on deep fill. There is no agitator but rather a wash plate which does not move the load well. The manual states it is normal for some items to be above the water line. The truth is most of the items are above the water line and remain that way for the duration of the cycle. For heavier items it is necessary to stop the washer during a cycle and rotate them manually. I would not recommend it.

I like Kenmore because it seems to be the best long-term appliance. Service on them I have been able to do myself cause simply to disassemble and online how-to sites. I have had my clothes get cleaner than any laundromat big washers have done with my Kenmore. I would not buy any other brand.

We have been a Kenmore family for generations. The last house we were in we got ripped off by the Sears home repair service and had many breakdowns. We decided to go away from Kenmore and Sears for several years. We moved into a new house and decided to give Sears a try again. This new fridge is junk. Just a few months after purchase the door handles keep falling off (screws will not stay tight), the ice maker fan keeps freezing up which makes all the ice melt and water all over the floor. Tried to get things repaired under warranty but after 2 hours on the phone, being transferred all over the place and being hung up on, the repair person cant come for 3 weeks. People on the phone dont speak English very well, the whole process is still a nightmare. Last time that we will ever buy Kenmore or Sears.

Kept everything fresh. No problems with leaking or breaking. Lots of room in freezer! Convenient size and held up to weather conditions in a garage. Perfect size to fit lots of stuff without being bulky. Top freezer gives a lot of freezer space. Much more than a pullout drawer freezer. Clean-looking outside. Neutral white color, clean-looking glass and drawers inside fridge. Sleek-looking. No complaints! Great fridge for reasonable cost. Not much change in electric bill adding this as a secondary garage fridge. I got it with a coupon too so it was a great value.

Gets my stuff very clean. I cant say how well it works. I never got to worry about stains, they are gone. Washer has been a life saver to me and my family. It has never broke or had any issues with my washer. If I had to choose I would get them again. Thanks Kenmore for great service. I could not ask for a better washer for my family. Hace 2 años compramos un horno Kenmore. Después de varios meses de tenerlo, decidí utilizar la opción de autolimpieza. Nuestro horno no tenía grasa acumulada, y realmente no estaba sucio porque cuido muy bien mis cosas. Leí las instrucciones y procedí. La parte superior de la puerta se volvió de color marrón amarillento y el sello alrededor del vidrio de la puerta interior del horno se derritió. Me horroriza pensar lo que habría pasado si hubiera mantenido la estufa encendida el tiempo que decía el manual. No he vuelto a utilizar la opción de autolimpieza. Sears se negó a hacer nada al respecto. Queríamos que nos cambiaran la puerta y nos sugirieron una tarjeta de regalo de 50 dólares. Ahora tenemos que reemplazar esta estufa porque tengo miedo de usarla. Varias veces después de eso, cuando la encendía, había un olor inexplicable, como a quemado. I purchased a Kenmore Refrigerator Model # 795.78412.800 in the Fall of 2008. The unit had to be unplugged and plugged back in to reset in order for it to work (had to do that at least 5 times since purchase). After a year, the bottom shelf hardware broke and the crisper drawer cracked and had to be repaired (see pictures). In June 2012, an error code came on the freezer door and the icemaker was no longer working! I had a repairman come to look at the problem for a $500.00 fix (we choose not to fix it at this time)! After reading the reviews, it seems if you fix the fan for $500.00, there is still a good chance of it breaking again. This is ridiculous since this unit is less than 5 years old! I think a credit on a new fridge is warranted! I have been a loyal Kenmore buyer over the years but have been severely disappointed with the poor quality of this refrigerator.

I called about my Kenmore Elite HE5t Steam Washer. It keeps going into a SUD, then within a few minutes it goes into an F35 error. I talked with Sears and they told me the only thing they could do is send a repairman to my house to look at it. The cost is $129 plus the part. The part is a water level switch, it costs $85 dollars. It was on back order at the time I looked it up and I will have to wait one week for the part. When it came in, they then told me to call Whirpool. I did, they reconnected me to Sears. It was no surprise since it is an ongoing problem with this model and I have seen it on a few websites already, including this one. They need to recall this product.

Sometimes the water line will freeze where the ice comes out. Also sometimes it gets too cold and freeze cold and water but other than that its been really great and does what it needs to do. The size of the freezer is too small. Needs to be bigger than other size. Has great shelves and plenty of room for all the stuff I need to keep cold like water soda and foods. I have a black one and the appearance of it is fine. It goes well with everything that I have in my kitchen. I have all matching stuff in there because I am ocd. I am pretty happy with the perceived value of the refrigerator that I have in my house. I am on a budget so price was a big factor but also I have a nice size family so I needed one that was at least middle size.

This is the worst washer (700 washer) I�€�ve ever owned. Unless I use deep fill and second rinse for every load half the load comes out dry and unwashed. Also (maybe my mistake) I cannot reach the bottom of the machine without a step stool. For such a deep basin it appears that it fills about 2�€�. So by using the extended options I see no efficiency or economy needless to say an hour and a half per load!

The refrigerator is attractive. Mine was black and fits in well with other Kenmore appliances in the kitchen. It was not too shiny and cleaned up by just using a normal kitchen cleaning solution. Plenty of room and lasted for 10+ years for a family of four. It has drawers for vegetables and meats and there is a place in the door for milk and juices. The shelves can be adjusted for different heights and the ice maker works well. The ice maker and ability to access the water without opening the door is a money saving benefit. Also easy for children to use without constantly opening the door. The cost was very reasonable for the quality of the appliance. Kenmore is a name you can trust and rely on.

This is a very efficient and energy effective dishwasher. My dishes come out very clean and spotless. I am very satisfied with this appliance. The size is very large but that is understandable for the amount of power it has and it holds a lot of dishes which is convenient with a family of 6 in our household. So size is not too much of an issues. This dishwasher is so sleek and modern looking. Its beautiful design goes well with our other stainless steel appliances. I like that there are no buttons on the front which adds to the streamline look for this dishwasher. We received a wonderful deal on our dishwasher from the appliance store. Its value is tenfold with the amount of money we are saving from energy and water. Very efficient and very very satisfied with the value of this item.
