The performance of the refrigerator is outstanding. It is very durable and helps keep things fresh longer. I really enjoy using this product. It helps make my life easier and run smoothly. The size helps me fit all of my food in the fridge. I am very satisfied with the size. When I got the fridge, it was clean and neat. It looked huge when I got it. I love how it looks. It is a valuable asset to have in the house. The value of it now will outlive the fridge itself. I paid a good price for it and think it will last me many good, long years.

I am a mother of 5 and grandmother so our washer and dryer has gone thru a lot. We have had them for over 35 years and other than a few minor repairs, have had no problems with them. Our daughters come over to visit and at times the little ones have an accident and bingo--they are needed again. If we have to get another set, it would definitely be a Kenmore.

I really love the washer and dryer. They are truly high-capacity, which is a great feature for families, and they are very energy-efficient. The control panels are fairly straightforward, so selecting the cycle/features I need is pretty easy for such high-end modern machines. The washer could be easier to clean, however-- the sealing gasket is always dirty and holds little bits of stagnant water unless I am diligent about wiping it clean after every cycle, which is more maintenance that I think a washing machine should really require. The dryer I have no complaints about.

En 2016 compré un lavavajillas Kenmore Elite 14793 basándome en años de experiencia con Kenmore (he comprado lavadoras y secadoras, y frigoríficos de ellos) y nunca he tenido un problema. Esta empresa ya no produce lavavajillas de calidad y no respalda las piezas obviamente defectuosas.

Es un buen frigorífico. La máquina de hielo me hace hielo continuamente y nunca ha estado vacía cuando he ido a por hielo. Siempre ha sido un frigorífico fiable. Siempre ha mantenido mis alimentos frescos y nunca nos ha fallado a mí y a mi familia. Me gusta el lado de la gente que vive en mi casa. My top load Kenmore Elite Washing machine is 4 years old and has been rusting for the last 2 years. I finally decided to check into replacing the top and I found out it will cost over $350. This is absolutely ridiculous!! In 40 years I have NEVER had a washing machine rust! I will never buy a Kenmore product again!

It seemed like it lasted forever. We left it in the house we moved from and it was still working fine. The settings inside were great and it kept everything just as we wanted it cold wise. It could have been a little larger. We had a hard time grocery shopping for the month because we could not fit everything into our freezer. The shelves inside the fridge door were somewhat small as well. It looked great and was the perfect match to all of our other appliances. We liked the way it looked inside and out. I would highly recommend this to anyone who doesnt need a huge fridge or needs a fridge for a small place in their home. It didnt cost a ton and it was easy to get repaired as well. The fridge lasted for years and I have no complaints about the way it worked either so the value was great for the size and functionality of the fridge.

My refrigerator performed consistently well. It was very reliable and incredibly easy to clean. The size was good. It fit well into my kitchen and didnt take up too much room, but it was large enough to hold enough food and beverages for my family. It was well laid out and easy to organize and keep tidy. It was a very good value and I was very happy with the purchase. I definitely got my moneys worth. Overall, this refrigerator was simple, unobtrusive and didnt stand out. I didnt mind this at all, but if someone were looking for something stylish they might want to consider another model.

I love them both. They work very well. They do a great job on the clothes. There are so many options on the cycles and temperature and spin. The machine works great when it runs. Im more than satisfied. The sensor touch panel though is very sensitive and sometimes will not let me select options. They look great, very stylish. Love the color. The display panel (when working) is very easy to navigate which makes it a quick easy trip to the laundry room. I personally believe you get what you pay for. They were more than I wanted to spend but they work great and I know Ill have them for a while so they were worth it to me.

This refrigerator keeps all my food nice and cold. Have not had any maintenance or replacements done on it. This is an excellent size refrigerator. Im able to comfortable go grocery shopping and not worry about if there is enough room in my refrigerator. It fits everything I need for all the meals and snacks for the week. My washer has a larger capacity and can handle a small load all the way through a large load of towels. It does not have a lot of unnecessary dials, but is simple to set without having to adjust several dials. I find this washer is perfect for me and my family. Having used this wash a couple of years, it has performed very well. No problems, no repairman needed. Everything works as well as it should. Just be sure to have the washer leveled upon installation, and it will work like a charm. I like appliances that are sleek, modern looking, and easy to keep clean. I purchase this washer about 3-4 years ago and the problem of rust is getting worst. The rust started after 1 year on the lid then it accelerated to inside and now the rust stays on most of the clothes I wash. When we look inside with a flashlight, we see that inside is all rusted and peeling off. I have a baby coming. When I tried to wash the babys clothes the rust stays on the clothes and its hard to take out. I had to rewash them by hand. Im really frustrated since we follow the manual very well to take care of this machine. I cant believe this will happen to a 3-4 years old washer since my mom is currently using a Maytag for over 10 years and it still works fine without rust. I hope to have it repair by Sears as soon as possible.

We bought the Kenmore 600 series washing machine to go with our Kenmore dryer less than 6 months ago. I have resorted to washing things twice with two rinses each and it still does not clean worth a damn. On top of that we are using clear HD detergent and yet our clothes are coming out with white spots on them. Never buy Kenmore again.

I have kids and pets, and I washed so many loads of very heavily soiled clothes and linens. They came clean almost every time. The washer has lasted for years and years without ever needing to be replaced. I would recommend this washer to anyone. This is the most reliable washer I have ever owned. My husband and I, with two little children, two dogs, and three cats, generate a ton of dirty laundry. We bought this washer 10 years ago and its still going strong! This washer is perfectly simple and clean looking, with very few places where dirt and grime can get stuck. It is very easy to clean, just wipe it down and youre done! This washer is the best value purchase I have made on any major appliance ever! We purchased it over 10 years ago and its still going strong!

It came with the house. Ive had several Kenmores before this one and they always have the same problem. The ice maker freezes up at least once a week and needs to be taken apart, fixed and put back. If we can put people into space I now understand why Kenmore cant make an ice maker that works properly. I had an LG that had a wonderful ice maker but it wont fit into the fridge space in this home.

It is really nice. Works great. Keeps your food fresh and cold. You should try and buy one. You will love it. Im going to keep buying that brands. It is big. You can put a lot of stuff in it. Its not like my other fridge. I love it so much. I will buy another one if I had to. Its really nice stainless steel and black. I would tell good things about it. I purchased a Kenmore Power Miser 12 Model #153.331414HA water heater six years ago. The heater was rated as a 15 year heater. In the last six years, I have replaced the pilot light assembly three times and cleaned it countless others and for the last year I have had to manually light the pilot everyday in order to get hot water. I order a replacement pilot assembly and installed it. The replacement unit failed after two days. It was obvious to even me who is not a mechanical whiz that the thermocoupler on the pilot unit was not shielded from the open burner flames thus causing it to overheat and shut off. At the same time I purchased a gas range. The ignitors for the stove top have not worked properly since about one year after purchase. Only one burner will ignite and you have to manually light the others to cook. Also for the last two years, the oven will not heat to the proper temperature (i.e., about 200 degrees lower than the setting on the control unit). I too have experienced poor customer service from SEARS including having to pay $75 dollars for warranty repairs, customer support staff obviously located in Mumbai, India not being able to answer questions about parts or service, delays in scheduling repair times, and my wife was put on hold off and on for over four hours trying to get her questions answered and to get a repair time scheduled even though she asked repeatedly to be transferred to a supervisor. The supervisor was no greater help than the customer service representative. I have since bought a competitors brand of hot water heater because it is made in American and their customer support staff are located in the United States. I also filed a complaint with the Chicago Office of the Better Business Bureau about these appliances. SEARS has responded that their records only show one service call to them and I informed them that their records are inaccurate because there were two repair calls for the same issue. SEARS has informed the BBB that they will not reimburse me for the cost of the hot water heater or even for the cost of the replacement pilot light unit I recently purchased which failed nor have they addressed the issue with the gas range. I have asked the BBB to inquire as to how many service calls SEARS has received nationally regarding replacement of the pilot light unit on this model of hot water heater and the number or percentage of these calls which were repeat service calls to replace the pilot light unit. I also asked why I cannot be reimbursed for replacement pilot light unit I just recently purchased that failed since there should be some limited warranty of 30 or 60 days on even parts. We will see how they respond. If anyone else out there has had similar issues with either this model hot water heater or with their gas range I would like to know.

New Kenmore Elite Ice Maker Problems - Yesterday was the 4th service call for our new Kenmore refrigerator, which stopped making ice 90 days after installation. Each service technician said the problem was related to a frozen water supply line to the ice maker. Water supply would overflow onto the floor behind the fridge. One technician replaced 2 defective water supply lines to our water dispenser and ice maker. Yesterday, the technician replaced the water supply assembly to the icemaker. At this point, we have heard three defective parts in our new refrigerator. Needless to say, we regret buying a Kenmore. The service technicians are encouraging us to buy a service contract. At the end of each visit, they produce receipts itemizing the cost of each service call, currently covered under the new sale warranty. Service calls total almost $1,000. We feel like the service contract will be required to protect against future similar experiences. Today, the icemaker is producing ice again. I am not confident that it will continue operating.

Kenmore washer never with hot water - It does not wash with hot water! Cold only! I turn the dial to hot and its never even warm! That may be why it locks. I want my old washer back!

We purchased the washer in July 2013. We did not put the washer in the new home until Oct. of 2013. It has had approximately 20 loads of laundry done in it. It senses, takes on water, agitates, drains and then it tries to spin but does not, just runs. I have to move the selector to drain and spin to get it to spin. I contacted Sears and Kenmore. They said we are responsible for repair even though the washer has had very little use.

I really liked the ice and water dispense feature. The fridge always stayed at the proper temperature. The fridge was never loud. I liked the stainless steel finish that was pretty smudge resistant and fit very well into my kitchen decor. The fridge was pretty spacious. The shelves could be removed and replaced to my needs and specifications. The fridge fits perfectly into the nook it was intended for under my shelves. I liked the look of the water and ice dispenser. It was big enough for most glasses, but the over feature was more recessed and discreet. Not too gaudy and shiny. After careful research, the Kenmore fridge seemed to be the best value for the money I wanted to spend. It had the size and features I wanted without breaking the bank.

A few years ago we purchased a washer and dryer (front -load) for condo living from Sears. Fortunately, before the warranty had expired (1 year) the dryer stopped working and it was replaced. Not pleased with the situation but it happens. At the time of purchase we opted for warranty on both the items but as time passed the cost of the warranty kept increasing and it was decided that we should discontinue the warranty as it was becoming very costly. Not long after the decision was made the washer stopped working. It was not within our budget to replace these costly items and thus I had no other choice but to use public laundry (not hygienic) - therefore we never purchase Kenmore products again! Given the inconvenience that I and my family have had to go through I feel that I should be compensated for this?!

Cleans dishes thoroughly. Easy to use. With the right dishwashing soap it can remove baked on and stubborn spots. It is very low in the noise department. Not silent but very low. The size of this particular dishwasher is very suitable for my needs. I have to do dishes maybe 3 times a week. I can get all my pans and silverware to fit and even my big plates. I like the stainless steel look. It gives it a more professional feel in my opinion and helps my kitchen look better and makes me feel better about the appearance of it. While this is not the cheapest dishwasher out there it is very good. And remember that old saying you get what you pay for, well thats true in this case.

No sólo es viejo, sino que es ruidoso y tiene un problema de apagado después del ciclo de lavado. Es un problema constante. La mayoría de las veces, después de que termina el ciclo de lavado, se queda encendido y tenemos que activar el disyuntor para que se apague. Its lasted a long time and has never broken down. I love the copious amounts of storage as well as the built-in ice and water dispenser. This space demands I write more about it although I really only have so much to say about a fridge.

I enjoy our Kenmore fridge. It has plenty of space for a lot of groceries. If I had to say on anything negative it would be how hard it is to clean out ice drawer. It has made the ice have a funny taste and theres even been debris - maybe rust.

Ive had my Kenmore for more than 15 years and it still works great! Ive never had any issues with it and I would have highly recommend this washer to my friends and family. I can always count on my Kenmore washer to work for me. It has never let me down. My Kenmore washer has a nice and basic appearance. Its value is top notch!

This was a great machine. It was simple to use, effective, and had fairly quick cycles. It is still in use with a family member, and still going strong. It did not require any repairs, and was still in great condition to give to someone else when I got a new one. It ran smoothly and efficiently. Theres nothing fancy about the appearance of this machine, but its simple and clean and serves its purpose. It certainly wasnt an eyesore. Kenmore tends to be more expensive than other brands. I have had a washers and dryers that were comparable quality and function but far less expensive. That being said, it is an established brand with a strong reputation.

Efficient Dishwasher--cleans well. Rack is appropriate for a variety of sizes. Could be quieter. Exterior is easy to maintain. Nice, sleek appearance. Can easily manage a variety of sizes and is ample enough to hold a couple of days worth for a family of three. Utensils Basket is adequate. Some larger mugs are difficult to place. Style is appropriate for variety of kitchen styles. Works perfectly in our small country kitchen but would also fit beautifully in a more modern decor. Average, affordable price. Easily comparable to higher end machines. I find this dishwasher to be a good value for the money based on the overall style and function. Weve had no problem with the machine.

I bought a Kenmore refrigerator at the navy base, I put an insurance plan. Same month they delivered I called Navy Exchange, notified the refrigerator wasnt working properly, the ice maker and freeze the food. They send a tech and never showed up and then he arrived the third appointment and he ordered a part for the ice maker. Took 2 months to arrive. Again he couldnt make it for second time. The tech was from Kenmore. Then a year later same problem with the ice maker and freeze the food. I called the plan insurance and they told me cannot handle the issue because was cosmetic issue!!!! I called the store manager and he send a tech. The tech told me its fine now. 2010 I called again, same problem with the ice maker and temperature. They send a tech and fix for third time. Present time I have the same problem but worse. Keep frozen my vegetables everything at top. The ice maker I have to keep open the doors to get ice from inside box. Every time we have visits, I have to tell them in order to get ice they cannot use the ice front display, they have to open the door to get ice. This is the worst refrigerator I ever had. I paid $2555.00 for this appliance. I contacted the insurance and now they told me that my insurance expired, after they didnt do nothing when my insurance was good now very convenience cannot do nothing. I called the store manager to inform this problem. Dont buy Kenmore Elite refrigerator.

The washer is very easy to use and is extremely efficient. Compared to my previous washer which I had to wash the load twice, this washer gets it clean the first time. The washer is extremely reliable. It is big enough for large loads and it gets the clothes extremely clean in a reasonable amount of time. The washer has a very clean and modern look. Its not the standard white that most washers are. It has some silver and a black tinted lid. The value for this washer was very competitive compared to similar washers. And the store where I bought it had a rebate which made it even a better value.

It has been working great for over 10 years! It has enough room for all the food and can move shelves when needed! I drink a lot of water and the ice machine has no problem keeping up with me and my family! My past machine couldnt and the water would freeze!

We have had it for about a year now and normally our other freezers would start having issues, but this one has not and keeps everything super cold. It has a lot of space and it is easy to store things. With all the drawers it makes organizing so easy. And I like that its wire, it makes it easy to clean. It is very clean in appearance. I like the white color, it keeps it classic. The inside is also white as is the wire shelves and the shelves on the door. It was a great price. Normally we have our freezers break after about three years and half to buy a new one so it was great that this one wasnt very expensive.

I bought a new Kenmore washer 7/2011. It will not rinse in the normal and heavy duty cycles but rinses normally in the casual cycle. The repairman was prompt and knowledgeable �€� no complaints there but he told me that was what the washing machine was programmed to do. So, I am only able to wash laundry on the casual cycle in this new machine. Someone, please explain that to me! I will never buy another one from Sears!

It was the better of the dishwashers I have owned. It was not needful to even rinse the dishes well, only scrape them good. I wish I had bought the same model again when it wore out and needed replaced. I was married with four children. We almost always could get all the dishes and pans into the dishwasher and then some. I was always very happy about this as I hate washing any dishes by hand. Im not one to really care about the way an appliance looks most of the time, but I did like this one especially as it matched my stove and refrigerator. They were Kenmore also :) It was a very good value as it did the job very well and lasted many years even through such a large family and much mistreatment by so many children trying to do their chores.

I purchased the Kenmore Automatic Washer model 796.3162#31# in 2016, and I had to have it replaced within 3 weeks of delivery. The water would not drain out of the machine. The machine I now have rips my husbands t-shirts. I have pictures to prove their destruction. I have had 2 different servicemen come out and it still occurs. What I have just discovered is there is a tiny barely noticeable metal wire that sets up and the clothes are getting caught on that wire. All of that money was spent on a washer that destroys my husbands shirts. I hope they are able to fix this issue.

Kenmore elite 796.4157 - washer. After one week of having the machine I went into the laundry room and almost slipped because of all the water on the floor. Had a repairman come and he said nothing was wrong, just too much suds. I use tide HE - he said that was fine. I used less detergent and the machine still leaked. Another repairman came and replaced the hose. He said use less detergent. I use so little detergent its ridiculous it still leaks and another repairman is coming next week. There is an opening in the back of the machine with a white circle and the machine is made that way to release suds and water. Sometimes I see just water pouring from it. Why would anyone make a machine that comes out of the machine onto the floor. Someone is going to slip and get hurt and then I will sue Sears and my floor is constantly getting water. AGAIN WHY WOULD A MACHINE BE MADE TO GET RID OF SUDS AND WATER ON YOUR FLOOR. I WANT A DIFFERENT MACHINE. I Purchased it in 2013. WHY WHY WHY????? Who makes a machine that makes water come out on a customers machines?

My Kenmore fridge freezes up because of a part on the drain hose that needs to be cut to let the water go to the drain pan. On My Sears Community sears says to replace with a revised part. The part is a duckbill & they have a new & improved one to correct the problem Part # W10309238. Sears or Kenmore should repair no charge.

It works great. It is not noisy as other refrigerators. It has a lot of space. It keeps everything in there fresh and cool. I love how well it works and how everything fits in there. This refrigerator is big enough to keep my needed items. I have 3 young children who love to drink milk, so there are at least 4 gallons of milk at once, plus all the yogurt, string cheese, juice and cold water. The refrigerator is black, it has a shelve on the freezer that divides the top and bottom and is wide and deep enough to fit meat/poultry. The inside of the fridge has a couple of shelves, and at the bottom are the fresh veggies/fruit containers. When I was looking for a fridge I wasnt planning on spending a fortune, I just wanted something simple yet durable, so when I arrived in the store I was surprised to find it on sale, right under $500. I opened it to take a look and just loved all the space it had.

Kept things frozen, must wrap food well otherwise it gets freezer burn like with any freezer. Works well, performs as expected to. Especially spacious for a lot of holding and storage. Is especially important to be spacious and this freezer has a great deal of room for food storage. Great shelving and space for staying and storing all different kinds of foods such as frozen pizza, frozen meals, frozen meats. Good value for the amount of money I had spent on this freezer.

The performance is good. It work seamlessly. I like the service it is providing. Keep the fruits and vegetable fresh for long time. It is better than other refrigerators available in the market. JUNK!! Bought my Kenmore side by side 3 1/2 years ago and compressor just went out. Kenmore and Whirlpool used to be top rated but I will never again buy appliance from them. My new LG has 10 year compressor warranty-Kenmore was only 1 year. Too much money was spent on this fridge to go bad so soon. BEWARE!!!

This is a very reliable machine. I have had no problems with it. It had never been a problem. It has codes that will flash to let you know if there is a problem. It has a clean color that is easy to keep clean. It has a very streamlined look that fits well in any place you need to have it in your home. This machine is a great value for the money. It performs well and can be repaired if necessary with no problem. The next time I have to purchase a washer and dryer, I will purchase this brand.

I bought brand new appliances from Sears.com in May 2017. The refrigerator broke down already. I called Sears. They sent a repair guy. Ice had formed in the freezer and caused the motor to shut down. He melted the ice with hot water and left... Fridge started making noise. I called back and was advised to wait a few days. The noise stopped came back and the ice formed again. Guy came back. Has to place parts on a 5 mo old refrigerator... Customer service is terrible. I spoke to 5 people. No resolution... They just want to replace parts and not the refrigerator.

My dryers performance is very good. I must say its very energetic and runs good. I love my high performance dryer. It also was on sale and I got it at a good price. My dryers reliability is very high standard. ITS A VERY GOOD PRODUCT. I LOVE IT VERY MUCH. I would always buy a high efficient dryer or washer especially if they have a good deal. My washer and dryer appearance I think is lovely. Have a set of black stainless steel dryer and washer. They can handle any size load of clothes that you have. The prices and location is good. I purchased a Kenmore Elite, Gentle wash-Canyon Capacity-Quiet Pak Oasis HE Energy Star! The first year, it started knocking. Repair came and replaced parts. Repair man said this was a defective model! The same problem occurred the second time, and today the third time! I was suppose to get a replacement washer, but it never happened! Third time repairman came out, he replaced the computer board, said everything was okay! Ten minutes after he left I placed a small load of colored clothes in - during the spin cycle, it started knocking again! Called expressing my dissatisfaction. This will be the fourth time for the same problem! Sears initially was to bring another washer - never did! Sears sold me a defective washer knowingly! Have purchased service protection agreements, same problem still persists!

Its a wonderful dishwasher that gets my dishes spotless. Id recommend it to anyone. Its very shiny and nice. If you want clean dishes then its what you should get. I can fit all of my pots and pans and bowls in this washer. My family and friends are always amazed by the amount of dishes Im able to do in one load. Its enormous! The steel finish is so beautiful. Not only is the finish impeccable, but its easy to clean and doesnt keep fingerprints like my other steel appliances. This dishwasher was a great deal. I enjoyed my Kenmore for a little over 10 years before I traded in for a newer model. I wanted to upgrade and have an ice maker. I never had any serious issues with it and it kept food exactly at the temperature I set. Even when I lost electric last summer for 10 hours, I knew I wouldnt have to worry about the food in my fridge spoiling.

I was happy with them but I dont think they lasted as long as they should have. Bought new from Sears but bought Maytag. Brand had better reviews and were bigger inside. When you have a family you need the biggest. Also bought front loaders, much better.

I googled the largest refrigerator made and pulled up this Kenmore Elite, it is big up top and the bottom freezer has mammoth room! The ice and water in the door are simply perfect and take up a very small amount of room in the door. The drawers in the fridge are spacious, I�€�m very happy! To clean the entire top and bottom is easy.

My refrigerator has been amazing. I love how it keeps working for year and years to come. Never had a problem with it besides a glass but they replaced it!! Its great for a smaller family but with a growing family we need something larger. The structure is great and I would only add a ice maker. The appearance is also great and fits simple decor. It doesnt look cheap and something worth the money. Its simple and modern and wont cost you a ton of money if you arent looking to spend. You get more than what you pay for which is always good.

Lavadora Kenmore HE sin agitador. He llamado varias veces para quejarme del lavado que hace. A veces tengo que hacer otro aclarado y centrifugado. Sometimes the water line will freeze where the ice comes out. Also sometimes it gets too cold and freeze cold and water but other than that its been really great and does what it needs to do. The size of the freezer is too small. Needs to be bigger than other size. Has great shelves and plenty of room for all the stuff I need to keep cold like water soda and foods. I have a black one and the appearance of it is fine. It goes well with everything that I have in my kitchen. I have all matching stuff in there because I am ocd. I am pretty happy with the perceived value of the refrigerator that I have in my house. I am on a budget so price was a big factor but also I have a nice size family so I needed one that was at least middle size.

Long lasting dryer that completed dried load in one cycle. Easy to use and minimal upkeep. Would recommend to anyone as a starter dryer. Also owned the corresponding top load washer. Large enough capacity for towels, clothes, etc. Basic white dryer. Nothing too fancy or out of the ordinary. Simplistic. All in all a great value. Low cost and low maintenance, reasonable energy usage.

Se ajustaba a mi rango de precios basado en otras marcas y el gran congelador era un buen punto de venta. Me gusta la máquina de hielo y la facilidad para filtrar el agua. Los estantes de la puerta tenían grandes opciones de almacenamiento para tarros pequeños que no cabían en ningún otro sitio y el tamaño de los cajones y la altura de los estantes también eran buenos. Sin embargo, el ancho de la nevera era incómodo, pero estoy seguro de que hay muchos espacios de tamaño extraño en diferentes hogares. Y no me gustó el diseño del exterior del frigorífico. Era feo y no tenía buenas opciones de color. No obstante, volvería a comprarlo.

Purchased $779 Kenmore Elite Washer model #29272000 in April 2011. In April 2013 sent a letter directly to Sears to complain about the rust all around the bleach dispenser. Did not receive any response. Now, a year later, the rust is far worse. I know from reading online comments, this has been a problem for years and Sears didnt figure out how to stop it and continued to sell this faulty product. The problems with this machine do not end with the rust. We suffer daily with the brutal wash cycle that ruins clothes, does not wash jeans and blankets without the UE error requiring constant adjustment to get the loads done, and bleach residue dispensing when you dont want it to so darks are spotted with white spots.It is bothersome that this expensive appliance is such a sad example of Kenmore and the fact that even though they knew it was a mess, it still was sold for years without correcting any of the problems. I was a faithful Sears consumer and yet now have no interest in a future dealing with them. I want a washer that doesnt harm my clothes AND isnt rusting after only a few years.

I am irate with Sears. I purchased a Kenmore dishwasher from them in December 2010, and I had my own technician install it. The dishwasher was a total lemon, and started malfunctioning the first week we owned it. After four repairs for the same problem, and eight months of begging, Sears finally agreed to replace it. What is the only catch? Since I chose to use my own installation technician instead of Sears service, Sears now expects me to pay $150 to install a new dishwasher! So, they sell me a piece of junk, and then expect me to shell out $150 to remedy the situation! This is unreal.Below is a list of everything disappointing about our Sears experience:1. Sears didnt agree to replace their product right away. It took four breakdowns, and eight months to get them to get any sort of customer service.2. Sears never informed me when I bought the dishwasher that by not using the Sears installation service, I would be responsible for the replacement costs, if the product malfunctioned.3. Their multitude of DISRESPECTFUL sales representatives ranged from sarcastic to condescending and arrogant to blatantly rude.4. I was informed that I could not speak to anyone higher on the chain of command than a sales representative. I could write to the CEO if I wish.5. Their sales representatives on many occasions reminded me that, they were doing me a favor by not charging me a $50 restocking fee for the replacement dishwasher, since my product replacement was outside of the 90-day window. Ummm, Sears refused to replace the dishwasher within the 90-day window despite the fact that it had broken twice!6. One sales representative sarcastically offered me a $10 gift card for my year of trouble.I am incredibly disappointed in Sears. They used to be my �€�go to store�€� for any appliance, automotive, and outdoor need. Unfortunately, they will NEVER see another dime from me.

I purchased this in 2007 and in the last couple of months, the freezer has stopped working properly. I called Sears. Repairman came out and said I need compressor. While he was here, he checked it and claimed to find a bent fan or something that should have been blowing on compressor. He said he corrected that and that freezer should be cooling better within 24 hours. $72 wasted. You guessed it. Freezer went downhill, followed by refrigerator which was working properly. About a year ago I went through lighting problem and had outside vendor replace digital display unit. I did not know it was a major consumer issue. I am now looking at refrigerators and dont know which way to go. I went out and bought a big cooler.

My Kenmore dryer is reliable and dries everything from towels to delicates. It has an alarm that alerts me when a load is done. The alarm can be turned off when I dont want to bother others in the house. It also has a wrinkle reducer option for times when I cant interrupt what Im doing to take clothes out of the dryer. My Kenmore dryer works well. It has settings for drying everything from my delicate nightie to my husbands denim jeans. It a very reliable machine that I expect to last well over 15 years. The dryer has a sleek appearance with clearly marked settings for operating it. There are three knobs, one on the left and two on the right. We shopped at several stores and researched online before choosing this dryer. It had the features we wanted at a reasonable price. We were able to buy it during an appliance sale, so we were able to get even more value for our money.

There is a class action lawsuit for LG and Kenmore refrigerators sold on or before January 29, 2014. There is a specific list of models and serial numbers. The lawsuit claims that certain LG Signature Model and Sears Kenmore Model Refrigerators contain a defect with the ice fan that is evidenced with: an IF error; low or no ice production; clogged ice systems, water leaking; the refrigerator shutting off on its own; loud motor sounds; or ticking and grinding that goes away when the refrigerator is shut off. The settlement provides: 1. Repairs, 2. Reimbursement for damages (food loss or property damage), 3. Box 230 Media, PA 19063.In addition to having the issues described in the lawsuit, I also have stainless (is it really stainless) finish slowing eroding to brown spots on the lower freezer bin in my french door Kenmore Elite refrigerator purchased in Jan 2013. I am looking for other reviews/claims regarding the stainless finish coming off. Perhaps another class action lawsuit is in order. While the company can claim this is only cosmetic, I paid $2666.44 for this refrigerator and the brown spots are increasing weekly. I deserve a product that will last.We have purchased Kenmore products in the past with great results. I will NEVER EVER purchase another Kenmore product or buy from Sears again. This refrigerator is junk and shame on Sears for thinking the consumer should have to settle for the problems we are having. I am adding a copy of my receipt so I will be a Verified Buyer.
