Twenty five years and counting, a very impressive quality worth every penny, never any need for maintenance other than vacuum the dust and clean, no ice buildup, plenty shelf space, flexible shelves, excellent door arrangement.

Purchased KitchenAid undercounter KDTE204DSS at Best Buy 12/2014 - used 1-2 x weekly. Great machine: good drying, no spotting, relatively quiet & clean dishes! Bottom rack occasionally left track when pulling out by corner rather than center. Paid $700 at Best Buy [in package deal with other appliances] $20 kit & was told this model would last minimum 8-10 years so I didnt purchase $159.00 Geek Squad extended warranty.10/2018 [after 4 years light duty] started making grinding and whining noises. Called Best Buy and they referred me to KitchenAid, who then referred me to local authorized KitchenAid repair service. $125.00 just to come out and diagnose, but could be applied to repair if applicable. After tearing entire machine apart [literally removing from under counter, unscrewing panel & interior components, detaching control panel & parts all over my kitchen] service tech needed to make several calls to his company before finally announcing that it was the *computer* that was shot - which would cost $450.00 to replace. At this point, without any warranty on the rest of the machine - it didnt make sense to repair. KitchenAid helpline was polite but could do nothing to help me. Dilemma is Id prefer to move to Bosch, but most reviews say KitchenAid dries better and I do not want mildewy odor. Very disappointed with extremely poor US manufacturing in all appliances.

I have two pairs of the dishwasher drawers with custom wood panels and one pair started to make loud whirring noises and then would beep incessantly, resulting in us turning off the breaker switch to get it to stop. Then, the bottom drawer stopped draining and held water in the tub all the time. The repair man quoted me over $900.00 for the repair. He suggested that I not repair it, and I agreed with him. Now, my second pair is making loud noises and I am afraid it is on its way to death as well. I am so disappointed in these dishwashers. I am going to start a Facebook group to see how may others have defective dish drawers.

I bought a KitchenAid Appliance suite 3.5 years ago. The dishwasher does not drain completely after the cycle ends. In addition, after the problem began a week ago after the cycle ends everything in the dishwasher has a soap film. Waiting for a repair person to arrive as I write this review. My previous dishwasher was still working after 25 years!

Thought Id share my KitchenAid experience. I purchased a refrigerator (KFIS29P), dishwasher (HUDS35FX), range (KGRS206) and microwave (KHMC185) on August 30, 2012. The first time we used the oven, an F30 error code popped up and it shut off. It came back on and would do this intermittently thereafter. I then tried out the new dishwasher and found that it didnt clean any better than the cheap one I replaced. On to the refrigerator, I noticed the seal between the door and icemaker was constantly wet and dripping water next to the ice bucket, freezing it in place. So after my first week with my new appliance set, I had to call service, something I didnt have to do for 15 years prior with my old appliances. One tech couldnt handle the different appliances, so separate appointments were needed for each individual unit. The repairman told me the dishwasher was fine, but unfortunately, the new dishwasher just doesnt clean as well as the older ones. It would have been nice to know this before spending $1,000 for an inferior unit. My friends Bosch dishwasher doesnt seem to have this substandard cleaning issue. Then Im told the refrigerator seal appears okay and it is probably due to the weather? Thats a new one. Not happy with this explanation and the constant need to dry the inside of the refrigerator. Another serviceman came out. He advised the seal was bad and a new icemaker door was needed. At that time, it was also noticed that the ice bucket was starting to rust in the bottom. A replacement was also ordered. The refrigerator issue is still being dealt with, while I even saw the outside stainless near the water/ice dispenser was starting to get a little surface rust. The range is requiring a new sensor and complete electronic panel to get it running properly. The microwave has been the only thing that has worked without issues, though when I bought the set, I was told it was all made in the USA. However, the microwave says Made in China. Maybe thats a good thing. The way Im asked every time I call about getting an extended warranty, its obvious its very much needed with the lacking quality of these appliances. My wife was so happy getting her new stainless appliance set, and I was happy about buying what I thought was a quality name - KitchenAid. We were both let down. So many problems in the first month of ownership, Im definitely concerned for the future. Paying over $5,000 for the set and now being practically forced to purchase an extended warranty to try to get a full life from them is disappointing. Im sorry to say I cant recommend KitchenAid to anyone nor would I likely purchase this brand in the future.

We have been dedicated KitchenAid fans for two decades. Two years ago, we renovated our kitchen and purchased brand new KitchenAid Stainless Steel Appliances. Within ONE year, the side-by-side refrigerators ice maker motor died. Through the warranty, a new motor was installed. Recently, the Freezer component that generates Freon died. KitchenAid Extended warranty was incompetent and arguable. Finally, after THREE weeks, our freezer was repaired. However, our refrigerator stopped working. KA Extended Warranty offered a repair man in 9-12 days. I cancelled the KA Extended Warranty contract, hired my own appliance doctor, and within 5 hours it was fixed (the previous tech did not plug-in the valve to the refrigerator!). Poor product and even poorer service through the extended warranty.

I find it ridiculous that I paid a lot of money for this dishwasher & it keeps breaking. Had bought an extended warranty for it. If I hadnt I would have paid 2 times out of pocket to fix it to date. Control panel went out less than 2 years ago & it is broken again!? Of course my warranty is up now.

During the cleaning, my oven glass exploded! Also, we have just spent $200 to have the microwave door repaired and this is the second time in five years! This time, it almost fell off. My sister has a KitchenAid and her microwave door did the same thing. Our repairman said he sees this all the time with KitchenAid. The oven glass flew everywhere in the oven. This is unacceptable. I so wish I had gone with another oven. This is ridiculous.

I will never buy or recommend KitchenAid products again! We have a $10K built-in KitchenAid refrigerator that is only 4 years old. It has not been working for a month! Every time (9 so far) their certified techs come it goes over temperature again a day or two later. As a result I have had to throw out thousands of dollars of food, over a hundred ounces of breast milk for my 3 month old, wasted days now dealing with Kitchen-Aid and waiting for repairs, and had to endure this beyond frustrating experience just trying to get my fridge working. They should stand behind their products and their warranties and if their certified repair people cannot fix the problem, they should replace the product. Also, their customer service does not care, is not helpful, and is sarcastic. I am done!!

We used the Aqualift feature for the first time this weekend on our Kitchenaid oven. The oven really wasnt that dirty, but we wanted to get the glass door cleaner. The Aqualift process did nothing to clean the oven door. No matter how many times we ran the process. We ended up using a half of box of Brillo pads to get the oven door glass clean. This is not what we expected for the price of the range we paid from a kitchen specialty appliance dealer. This experience was unbelievable. The inside of the oven wasnt that much cleaner either. But the 2 cups of water were still sitting on the bottom of the oven like the manual stated. Note: We did not use the Brillo pads on the oven cavity as we did not want to scratch the finish. We have used the pads on other glass items without scratching the glass; therefore did the oven glass door only. It took about 2 hours of manual labor to get the glass cleaned. This will be the last Kitchenaid product we purchase as a result.

I had an upscale kitchen remodel done and spent probably $75,000 on appliances. I purchased two KitchenAid fridges and microwaves and an under counter ice maker. To date the microwave has almost no power. I have a $35 microwave from Walmart that heats food three times as fast as my KitchenAid. I had service out in the first month because the microwave sounded like a jet engine. They replaced a fan in there and then I had it out again because it just wasn’t powerful enough and they said there was nothing they could do. The cost of the microwave was $2500. One of the fridges randomly will just make this worrying waze. Who knows why. I don’t even want to call service man for that. And the ice maker has given us problems from the first six months. And now the ice maker has died. I would periodically have to unplug it and leave it for a day and plug it in and it would work but now nothing. I think that thing cost $2700. We did not buy these appliances at Lowe’s but at an upscale appliance store where they guaranteed me that it is a better quality than if you purchased a KitchenAid on the floor of a big box store. I would never purchase a KitchenAid appliances again. I also have Wolf Appliance as a double wall oven and a large commercial stove. The double oven timer you can’t hear it and less you have your ear up against it. I had a service man out and he said there’s nothing you can do about that. The commercial stove one of the front electrical ignition switches doesn’t work that up and cost 50,000. It is insanity that these companies are in business. So poor quality and they don’t seem to care. I don’t even know if it’s worth it to have a service man come out and check my ice maker.

I have a Kitchenaid Range KGSC308LSSO, purchased in 2003. Main control panel needs to be replaced again! The problem is that the range turns on by itself (500 degrees - time sets for 33+ hours!) This was witnessed by unbelieving repairman on 11/07/2011.This will be the third control panel in this expensive unit in 7 1/2 years. I contacted Kitchenaid and they were very sorry but would do nothing due to the age of the machine. This brand is just too costly and dangerous to own.

We bought all new appliances for our lake house from the same company we had bought appliances for our primary home (and NO it was not from a big box store but a legitimate appliance company). In 2013 we purchased KitchenAid refrigerator, dishwasher, double oven, range, microwave. The first season we had issues with the freezer draw icing shut and condensationing. Called the company. They came out and made some adjustments. Everything seemed ok. In 2014 we noticed the ice would work periodically, but then just started working. The range and microwave have never kept the correct clock time. Then late summer about a month prior to shutting the house down for the season. The freezer just stopped working. Then wishing 14 days the refrigerator stopped working. Being the end of the season, we emptied the appliance. I have called the company that we had purchased the appliances from (which had went bankrupt and was purchased by another vendor). I have yet to receive a call from the vendor. Know Im stuck on an island and trying to find an appliance company to hopefully repair my 3-year-old refrigerator. Unless the appliance can be repaired reasonably soon and at a fair cost I would never purchase or recommend KitchenAid appliances again.

Ordered a KitchenAid refrigerator KRM706ESS01 just over a month ago. The refrigerator stopped working on Sunday the 20th and did not see a technician until the 23rd. The technician came to the house and told us we needed a part to repair which will not be delivered until the 31st and who knows when the technician will conveniently show up. Now we are out $1000 of Thanksgiving food for 18 people at my house and KitchenAid/Whirlpool offered $100 for the inconvenience, right!! I spent over 2 hours on hold waiting to talk to someone who could actually do something and when I finally was able to speak to someone they were of no help (Tim #**). Looks as though we will be out of a refrigerator for the foreseeable future. I will never buy a KitchenAid product again and will do everything in my power to spread the word of a terrible product/customer service.

We purchased a stainless steel KitchenAid bottom freezer refrigerator in September 2013. It was fine for a year, but suddenly the PO sign showed up on display board and nothing has been right since then. Upon calling Whirlpool (30 minutes on phone) they suggested we call the repair companies listed on their website. First company we called was Diamond Repair and that guy fiddled around and since he could not figure out the problem, told us that the fault was with the outlet in our brand new built house! Ok, so we called the builder and they looked at it and declared it fine but changed it to a brand new one. Problem continued with the constant beeping and PO symbol on. Then I called Maytag company to look at it and that has been a nightmare. After the first tech left, our water dispenser that was working fine till then, stopped dispensing. They said that maybe it was a coincident that it failed and their tech was not at fault. What!!! They are simply unhelpful. Their techs come out and between the two visits they have changed each and every circuit board, to no avail. Much to our chagrin, whenever I call Whirlpool customer service center, and speak to a manager, they make me repeat the problem, promise me that they will call back and I never hear from them!! One time they supposedly ordered new door for this fridge, but the tech from May-tag came with new circuit boards and did know anything about any door being ordered. I wash my hands off Whirlpool company. The fridge was clearly a lemon. In all the years of owning several refrigerators, this has by far been the worst fridge we have owned but the Whirlpool customer service has been pathetic, to say the least. I will make sure none of my next appliance is even partly owned by Whirlpool!

WE bought a complete kitchen set but after one year the 4 lights in the top of the refrigerator stopped working. The place where we bought it, Heber Appliance, could not fix the problem because of the way its designed. It wasnt the bulbs but the wiring. So they gave us a deal on a new one. Now the exact same problem is occurring. The 4 lights in the top of the fridge started flickering a week ago and now are out completely after one year. We will never buy KitchenAid again ever!

I had a kitchen remodel done. I decided to replace my Samsung with a KitchenAid. I thought for once in my life I would like my appliances to match. The refrigerator works ok, BUT the noise is unbelievable! It rattles, pops and shakes. I am so sorry I purchased this! I have had service tech, told me that the vibration was from the motor and frame. Used a piece of tape to fix the problem. It didnt work. They sent another tech. He told me that it was the water reservoir. Order a new one and installed it. Noise is worse! When I called KitchenAid AGAIN, the service agent was rude and told me that if they sent another tech out there and the noise was not happening, I would be responsible for the charges. This noise is intermittent, happens maybe every hour or so. I am happy with the other appliances I purchased, but the overall experience with this refrigerator will end my relationship with KitchenAid for good.

I bought the French doors refrigerator just 6 months ago and right away the fan was very noisy. Now 6 months in the temperature reading shows 125 on the freezer but yet it is freezing everything not just in the freezer but the fridge compartment. Called customer service and they took a week to send someone who just kept saying it’s the computer board. Even a non-technical person like me knew it was a thermostat issue. Takes another 10 days to come back with the new board and installs it and leaves. Nothing changed so I called back and then took another week to come back to test. Admits it’s the thermostat and says will order the part. 3 weeks after still no part and just fake promises, they are working on getting a thermostat. 5 weeks no working fridge and no sign of it being fixed or compensated for it or even replacement fridge. I actually don’t even want their garbage fridge or their lousy customer service! Just want my 5000 back. Do not get any Kitchen Aid appliances. They will give you a runaround.

Like many other posts here, I purchased my model KUDK03CTSS3 in June 2009. And like the others, the top drawer does not get the dishes clean; there is a film and dried food that makes it more difficult to clean after the cycle.Additionally, there are rust spots all along the front panel of the unit. Customer service recommended a rust cleaner, though they admitted it wouldnt completely remove the rust(?) but would prevent further rusting. Ummm, What? How about replacing the front panel, because it shouldnt rust no matter what. They told me it was due to the steam coming from the top/front of the unit during the cycle. Was this something no one thought of when designing and manufacturing the thing? No one figured out a dishwasher would create steam, so the front panel should be steam-resistant?Also, they recommended affresh tablets to clean the unit inside. I already tried the vinegar wash; I dont expect these magical tablets to make any difference whatsoever. At the time of purchase, the money I spent was hard-earned, and I thought I had done appropriate research and due diligence. Almost three years later, in this economy, I cant even justify the cost of a service call, so Im handwashing my dishes.Do not purchase KitchenAid; you will be sorry.

We purchased a KUDE40FXWH dishwasher in March of 2011. The top rack glides kept popping open letting the rack fall off. This probably was linked to binding due to breakage of the plastic pins that connect the glide wheels on the glide bracket. Three months out of warranty, the wheels on one side fall into the bottom of the dishwasher. Both sides have now been replaced for $250. The service technician said this is not isolated and they encounter this on these models. We called Whirlpool/KitchenAid and they politely noted the problems. But once they had the information, they made it very clear that they are unwilling to supply anything at their cost to correct our problem with their equipment. They are glad to have the info for engineering future equipment but are calculatingly unmoved about the predicaments of people who have bought their products to date. We paid for a higher end dishwasher to get reliability and service. KitchenAid is not worth the premium. I could just as well have bought a bargain brand and the repairs wouldnt have been any more than the glitzy one.

I purchased a KitchenAid induction double oven range, model KSIB900ESS1 through my home builder, who installed it in July 2017. We moved into the home August 1. It worked correctly until October, although the induction burners make a lot of noise. In October the ovens quit working. We called KitchenAid, who sent an appliance repairman out in two days. A week later we hear nothing from the appliance guy. After several calls, I found out that the part that needed replaced did not exist. Confused, I called KitchenAid again and asked for another repairman. This one came out, found the problem, and located a replacement board within a week. I preheated the top oven two hours after he left and both of the ovens quit again. It is now a week later (tomorrow will be a month without an oven) and we are no further along in getting this fixed. Added to that: today I received a large box on my doorstep from KitchenAid (which I did not order) that I think might contain pots and pans that I dont need. Im afraid to open it because I dont want them saying I accepted pots and pans in lieu of a workable oven. What the heck is going on with this company?? Two days til Thanksgiving but we wont be able to cook anything in the oven this year. Thank goodness the range still works or wed be eating microwaved everything.

We purchased a KitchenAid Superba Architect Series double oven (model # KEBC208KSS02) in 2003 for our new-built home. After using the self-cleaning oven, the display of the oven went completely out and the oven doors were locked. We had the oven repaired (we had to replace the motherboard which was over $800 once the repairs were completed) and 3 months later we had the mother board go out again. We were then told the board was only under warranty for 90 days (we were just out of warranty on the board) and that we would have to purchase another board. I bought this KitchenAid dishwasher thinking maybe it would last more than 6 or 7 years like the other brands Ive had. This one actually needed a repair before it hit the 4 year mark! Needed a new computer - of course the part was under warranty (five year) but the service call and labor were not. Spent $155.00 to have the part replaced. I also had to replace the upper rack after approx. 1 1/2 years. 04/06/2018 - Purchased french door refrigerator (KRFF507E). 09/30/2019 - First repair. Refer making noise and not cooling. Evap fan hitting ice buildup Tech replaced evap fan and thermistor assembly (took over an hour to remove ice build up). Tech also reprogrammed defrost cycle from auto-detect to every 8 hours.02/19/2020 - Second repair. Same problem as first repair except evap fan not destroyed. Contacted KitchenAid service basic response was too bad, so sad. I explained that the problem was a design flaw, not a faulty part problem but that fell on deaf ears. After a bit of debate service stated that replacement parts (from 2/2019) were under warranty. Service tech ended up replacing same parts and a control board. Again, over an hour to remove ice buildup. 08/08/2020 - Third repair scheduled for 8/17/2020. Sour milk, refrigerator temperature running about 57 degrees F. Ice buildup again, waiting for Tech to diagnose. Again KA Service response was too bad, so sad. Service authorized a $50 reimbursement card, which covers about half of technician service charge (not parts). The refrigerator was purchased to replacing an ancient (15 yr+) kitchenaid side-by-side refrigerator/freezer that is still keeping my beer cool and my deer meat frozen! I will never purchase a kitchenaid refrigerator again (maybe anything from Whirlpool).

We bought this Convection Oven/Microwave at the same time as our oven, KEBS107SS, and cooktop, KFGS 206VSS. After buying it at Sears and coming home and reading the reviews here, I was ready to cancel the purchase. Decided instead to purchase the 5 year extended warranty. Buying warranties is something we dont do. However, we were spending so much on these 3 appliances and after reading the complaints on the oven and microwave, we did purchase the 5 year warranty on the oven and the microwave. Less than 18 months later, the microwave went out. The service guy has been out twice with a 3rd trip scheduled. I have been without my microwave for 13 days and it will be another 10 waiting for the parts. The worst part was being without it while needing to cook for 25 during Christmas, which is not something Id expect to do with a microwave weve had less than 18 months. Next time we buy appliances, I will read reviews before we purchase and I will not purchase from KitchenAid. KitchenAid doesnt care about their consumers who buy their products. (That is a story Ill need to write on our cooktop that we didnt purchase the warranty on.) There are other appliances out there with better reviews. The KitchenAid appliances look nice, but the quality is not there. Our last microwave that was over the oven was not even broken when we replaced it and it was 15 years old without ever having a service call. It was GE and was the microwave that came with the house. It wasnt even an upgraded appliance! I dont write reviews, but I learned so much from reading these, and now that we are having problems with a relatively new appliance, I decided to write this for others.

As I write this, my oven is being repaired for the fourth time, for the same problem. Since it is out of warranty, I will be paying for this. When you try to self-clean, it goes for an hour or two, then stops, giving an error code because the plastic, yes plastic, around the latch has melted, and the oven thinks the door is open. The repairman this time told me to never again try to self clean the oven. It will just keep happening! This oven is about 6 years old, but this has been happening since it was just over a year old. Also, even when it did clean in the beginning, the glass door does not actually get clean, particularly the space left between the two panes of glass, again yes, a space left open. I would suggest the designer of this oven be punished by having to use it. Clearly these should have been recalled or replaced by KitchenAid, as they are aware of the problem. But no such luck, at least not that I am aware of.

Replaced a FUNCTIONING yet older dishwasher that was 12 years old. Purchased KitchenAid thinking Id get many years of trouble-free operation! NOT!!!! Within a month we were seeing that dishes were not coming as clean as our old machine. 4 months later the entire pump assembly had to be replaced. NOW at 14 months (two months out of warranty), it wont even light up... DEAD... and Im told its going to cost me damn near HALF of what I paid for it to get it fixed... REALLY... It does not clean well as it should no matter which brand or type (gel vs power vs pack) I use. Noisy. Long long cycle. I have had two kitchen aids before this and was happy. Then this house came with Maytag which did not do halfway good job cleaning. Then when it broke I chose KitchenAid. But this one seems noisier and even the cycle seems long - it may be average just seems long. The dishes do not come clean. Especially forks.

In October 2016, I bought stainless dishwasher model KDTEESS1. The appliance itself works well but after one year I noticed rust spots appearing on the front door. It has gotten worse. KitchenAid is not standing behind its product. The door was not sealed or finished properly. I contacted KitchenAid and was told the one year warranty had passed and I had to buy a new door. Clearly this door was defective as I have an older dishwasher which does not have this problem.

I have purchased two KitchenAid gas ranges (yes, I should have learned my lesson the first time!). Both have been seriously problematic. Within a year of purchase, both locked up when I cleaned them for the first time, and I could not use them without a tech coming to my house to repair. One of those ranges had a faulty fan which did damage to another part due to overheating during the cleaning process, which resulted in damage to other parts! Most recently, the electronic range control on my Architect II went on my three-year-old gas range. So back to the repair techs. I will never purchase another KitchenAid stove. Based upon my experience and that of others, they are simply poorly manufactured and not reputable. Repair costs are ridiculous and I am thinking of replacing mine due to the high repair costs and lack of faith in this happening once again, at a time when I really need to use the stove!

Im on a mission to let everyone know how much KitchenAid sucks. They obviously have no quality control on their production. They have no ethics about making a quality product. About 8 years ago, we upgraded our kitchen and bought all new KitchenAid appliances. Since then, every appliance has had issues. Microwave (KHMS155LSS), weve had to replace the face plates (all of them) at least once because the cheap plastic latches broke. Dishwasher (KUDS01FLSS), the spring holding the door has broken twice so that the door flies open and bruises any body parts in the way. Hand mixer (Classic Plus 5), less than 1 year after purchasing, one of the beaters separated (has been fine since we replaced it though). Stand mixer (KSM9O), the cover over the motor doesnt stay close and easily pulls open if you touch it. Oven/Stove (Superba Range), the final straw, I was baking potatoes tonight and the oven shut off and locked shut with my potatoes inside. I cannot open the door. I tried all the things I saw on the internet and its still locked with my potatoes inside. Im going to replace it with a non-KitchenAid appliance ASAP!

I have a refrigerator/bottom freezer. 3 years old and the control board goes out. The authorized dealer has a very bad reputation of causing more issues than actually fixing anything so I went with a reputable repair company... since I didn’t go with the sub-standard company the company wouldn’t stand behind the product even though the company I went with is trained in repairing KitchenAid. From what I understand to be an authorized dealer is up for grabs. The highest bidder gets the authorization. Has nothing to do with their credentials. My entire kitchen is KitchenAid... not any more! This repair should have been covered.

I love KitchenAid products, but my dishwasher, I dont like at all. It is one year old and works Great! The problem is that the bottom rack tines so-to-speak are not constructed so the plates stand UP. When I put the round-rimmed plates (which most plates are made that way today on the market) in the slots of the bottom rack, they SLANT over??? Because of this, I CANNOT fill the bottom rack with many dirty dishes, etc. The top rack is NOT WIDE enough for the larger coffee cups that are made. This is a problem also for filling...I run my dishwasher a lot because it is just not made to hold a lot of dinnerware (because of this). My old dishwasher (KitchenAid) in another town was great... The tines on the bottom rack slanted at the tip and the and the dishes stood up... I could really fill it up. I guess I just bought a cheaper grade of KitchenAid? Can I get a replacement for the bottom rack with tines that are bent or slanted at the top so my dishes stand up? I would NOT like to run my dishwasher ALL of the time because I cant put a lot of dishes, etc. in it. Water bill is higher because of this... :-(

KSC23C8EYY Stainless Side by Side Fridge - I got sold this $2,000 plus (I am embarrassed I paid this much for junk) fridge for our brand new home. We were told KitchenAid is a great American-made brand and far easier to fix than any foreign product. Well, here is how I will sum up my opinion of our side-by-side KitchenAid fridge. It’s garbage. On the second day after delivery, here is what happened. It stopped cooling; we had to put everything in a cooler. The door alarm and lights are on even though both doors are closed. The doors are crooked. Water and ice will not dispense. It will not make any ice. A call is in to the place we purchased it from to see what we can do. We are hoping we can exchange it for the cheap foreign-made fridge we originally wanted. We will never buy KitchenAid again. Ill try to remember to do an update to advise on outcome.

Four years into use, it has stopped cooling, 2 technicians (including KitchenAid) employee confirms the Seal System is broken hence not cooling! He ordered the part, but said it’ll take 2 wks because it’s still under Warranty (10yrs). When you call the customer service department, hold time is 1hr, and you would get agents that are unable to provide any meaningful assistance or help to resolve your issue. Long story short, I checked today to see the status of the part, and was told it’s on backorder and not sure when it’ll be received or sent out!! I have been without a refrigerator this long!! We have a KitchenAid Double Wall Oven purchased at Sears in 2001. Just now, fully out of the ten year warranty. Its model no. YKEBSDB3 and serial no. YK210XXXX.This unit has been nothing but trouble since we got it and we are at the point of replacing it. In Canada, this unit sells for over $3500.00. I never even thought to check consumer reports before we bought because I knew (ha!) that KitchenAid appliances were the top of the line, had an excellent reputation, and felt so lucky that I could financially buy such an excellent set of ovens for the first time in my life. Boy was I ever wrong.I wont go through the litany of issues we have had but they are similar to the rest of the complaints and issues stated previously. We had a Warranty with Sears which has now run out. I have to say the serviceman who does the warranty work for Sears was wonderful and I have no issues with him but, he also disclosed problems with several similar ovens. One easy fix: we have had issues with the door hinges/springs deteriorating and the doors not fully closing, hence the oven not warming. A quick fix is to buy two approximately 1 diameter rare earth magnets and place them on the sides of the door about 3 down from the top so as not to affect the electronic panel. They will keep your door tightly closed.I too, would join in any class action suit against KitchenAid/Whirlpool and will continue to badmouth the company at every opportunity until they had the decency to admit publicly that there are problems with these ovens and offer to repair them free of charge. Thanks for the platform to speak up.

I just came in the house after spending about an hour and a half mowing the lawn. To my surprise, the KitchenAid Microwave (Model KHMS155LSS-3 Oct 2005) was running by itself. I tried to turn it off using the buttons, but none of them worked. I ended up opening the door and unplugging the unit to get it to stop running. The inside of the microwave was absolutely smoking hot! Before unplugging it, the digital display was indicating PAN. I plugged the microwave back into the outlet, and PAN again appeared. Seconds later, the microwave started to run by itself again so I unplugged it again. I called Whirlpool (800/331-7456) and they said it was most likely a control board problem, and that they would be mailing a new one to my house. They also scheduled a service call which is a week and a half from today. Thank God I was at home or we might not have a home (and pets) to come back to. This unit should have been recalled! Do I really want this unit in my house even if it has been repaired?

For the second time, I have replace the glass turntable, plastic arms, and centerpiece from my Microwave. I use it to defrost bagels, and warm up food, typically no more than 2-3 minutes. I JUST replaced the glass again and after reheating chicken for Easter, I noticed the fan was still blowing and the oven very hot inside. If I open the door it stopped, when I close it the fan starts back up. I left the door open thinking it was a cool down fan, but my boyfriend closed it when we went to bed. When I woke up this morning to defrost my bagel, the glass was crack and turntable parts melted. This has to be the WORST microwave on the market. It works great when it is on, but I have had it. It is expensive. The parts expensive. DONE!

I wrote a letter to the Jeffrey Fettig, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Whirlpool and Marc Bitzer, President of Whirlpool North America regarding a part they no longer made for my 5 yr. old KitchenAid refrigerator. Because of problems I was having with the refrigerator lights and the ice maker not working a repairman told me I needed to replace the electronic control board but that KitchenAid no longer made the part. I called KitchenAid customer service and was told I had to send the control board to Illinois for repair which meant my refrigerator would not be operating for a week or more. After spending hours online I found that Sears Parts Direct had a replacement control Board for my KitchenAid model which I ordered. By some miracle I was able to get the lights working by making an adjustment on the door hinges and the ice maker suddenly started to work. I returned the control board I received from Sears. What is interesting to me is the fact that I never received any response to my letter to Whirlpool senior management. In the letter I asked them 3 questions:When and why did they make the decision to stop producing an integral component for a KitchenAid product causing major inconvenience and problems for consumers? Why does KitchenAid Parts online show this component as available when it is no longer made? Why would a Whirlpool control board be defective in a 5 year old product? (As stated above my control board was not the problem after all.) I also told them I had noted the number of KitchenAid product complaints on Consumeraffairs.com. The fact that I never received any kind of follow up shows Whirlpools total lack of integrity and concern for their customers. The JOKE is Whirlpools Vision and Mission statements..... Pride, passion and performance.... Creating Loyal Customers for Life. We are a company of people captivated with creating loyal customers. Unfortunately the joke is on their customers.

I am deeply disappointed with KitchenAid, an appliance manufacturer whom I thought built high quality, reliable products and who stood behind their products. I have a model KSSSC48QMS03 refrigerator that constantly runs with 1 second pauses and pinging noise. Technician diagnosed as faulty Gemini board 2307028 (W10219463). I cannot believe that Kitchen Aid does not provide repair part 2307028 (W10219463)! My home is only 8 years old and a showcase of high-end KitchenAid built-in stainless steel appliances; 48 wide refrigerator, microwave, warming drawer, double drawer dishwasher and gas stove with steamer. This Gemini Electronic Control is for the refrigerator (and, according to the service technician, in the stove as well). There are all kinds of complaints on the internet about KA refrigerators running continuously with a sonar-like pinging noise diagnosed as this faulty board. It is unbelievable that I have a $9K refrigerator for which KA will not provide a replacement part. According to the KA recommended service company, the only solution is to send the board off to a refurbisher. I dont like to buy parts from someone that is not supported by the manufacturer. Not that they may not do a good job, but that its not a new part, factory tested with manufacturer warranty. If this is what I can expect from KA, then as these appliances need to be replaced, I will change to a manufacturer who supports their products. Unbelievable, KitchenAid (Whirlpool)! This is probably a $50 part to manufacture that they could sell easily for $300. How can they anger so many customers? One comment said that KA told them this was due to the Tsunami in Japan that wiped out the plant. We had a plant affected as well at my company and its not hard to take the design to another manufacturing location.

After researching many brands we decided to go with a friend’s recommendation for a KitchenAid gas range. After owning it for a few months now we’re very disappointed with the wear & tear. It was delivered with the side dented, which given our timely need, we decided to live with as it’s mostly hidden. We have found however that cleaning the stove top is very difficult (heavy pieces to remove and place back) and the stainless steel surface scratches and scuffs way too easily. If you’re a tidy person like me this will drive you nuts so proceed carefully with this one! After a few months it’s already starting to look worn in.

I have never been more unhappy with products I have bought, we upgraded all our kitchen appliances about 8 years ago and decided to go with KitchenAid products (Refrigerator, Stove top range). We have had numerous issues with both products starting within 2 years of purchase. The stove valves were the first to go, and then failed again several times in the past 6 years. The refrigerator ice maker solenoid was the second item to fail. Recently the refrigerator seal system went, just a few months after the warranty expired. Today the stove ignition switch failed and the stove wont stop clicking. The seal system repair on the refrigerator was estimated at $1700. A new GE sells for 1000. It has a stainless steel door to match the other appliances in out kitchen. Initially, everything worked fine. More recently, the ice was melting in the ice maker and it was jamming. The door also has become damaged and started rusting. We didnt buy the extended warranty, so we had a repair person come to service the refrigerator. He replaced a part and recharged with some freon. The repair cost $500. The ice was still melting (about a month later), so we asked the repair person to come again. He said the compressor is faulty and has to be replaced. It would have to be shipped from outside the country and would cost more than $1,000 (plus labor!). We have decided to replace the refrigerator.

New fridge delivered 1/30/19. 2/9/19 freezer completely covered in ice, day 15 freezer still not properly working. Called Kit Aid/Whirlpool & they said “we’re slammed”. They couldn’t tell me if it was in warranty. Told me to look at my manual. After many calls, a new fridge was delivered. They took fridge out of box to find one upper door was significantly damaged. Their answer was to take door off the one being returned & replace the damaged door. 8 months later freezer items are melting & refrigerator temp goes to 45 degrees. Thermostat is replaced. January 2020 freezer drawer & ice very loose. Won’t stay in place- another service call. February 2020 everything in freezer is melted again-another service call. Now, there is rust on the outside of the freezer door, and the top left door doesn’t seal well at all. The seals on both sides are torn. I was told that might be expected on a 15 year old appliance but certainly not on an 18 mos old fridge. I suspect when they swapped out the door from the broken fridge it didn’t fit correctly. Also, KA said I must have used abrasive cleaners & brushes for the rust to appear. That has never happened. We have been extremely careful to use only water and soft cloth to wipe. Their insinuation is insulting.I have been given names, emails, phone #s at Whirlpool, at All South Appliance etc. The customer service is lousy, non-exsistent in fact. After sending multiple pictures to different people, I have been told they cannot extend warranty coverage (I had been told twice that was probably how it would be handled). Well with the refrigerator be less than 6 weeks old we have had two services calls. It sounds like a small plane getting ready for take-off, and I have ice build around the freezer door as well as in the fridge on the ice maker. We have been told a part in the ice maker needs to be added so I believe KitchenAid is well aware of the problem but has refused to recall the fridge. Sorry we spent $3000 for a new fridge KitchenAid will not replace for a new working fridge. I love the look and the size of the fridge but at this point that the best part of it.

I purchased the flagship KitchenAid refrigerator. I am still under my factory warranty so my Masters agreement through Sears cannot be applied. Its taken 4 weeks now and my refrigerator has not been repaired. 2/17/2021 was my second repair date. Nobody showed up. Nobody called. No service and repair. I am living out of an igloo for a month. My over-the-counter ice maker I purchased last weekend just to have ice. Today Im sending this review to get someones attention at KitchenAid to back their product and contact me. **.

On DAY 1, the freezer temp was raising, we kept lowering it back to 0 F. On DAY 2, it doesnt go below 16. Now day 5 and its 32, and doesnt respond to pushing temp control down. Technician may come tomorrow. Meanwhile, food will start spoiling. Also, no instructions came with it, except how to install. Gee, thanks! NOT BUY THIS!

I ran the self cleaning cycle on my 6-year-old KitchenAid oven and afterwards, the oven wouldnt warm up anymore. After a web research, I learned this is a well-documented issue and I replaced the thermostat at the back of the oven (a $55 part). I tried collecting the money from KitchenAid but they said, your oven is out of warranty and theres nothing we can do. I will never buy another KitchenAid product again. This is a well-documented issue and if this was a safety issue on a car, there would be a massive recall.

At this point /050316 repairmen have come at least six (6) times- even replaced icemaker. Repairman said these door models have ALWAYS had problems & should be taken off market. Really makes me angry that I wasnt told about this since my built in is SO MUCH MORE than regular cost of refrigerator! Im about to call for repair AGAIN today! I should have been given a different refrigerator from the beginning and also been paid for new cabinet fronts for different style refrigerator! I try to warn everybody I know about this to prevent someone else being taken as I was! Would NEVER buy another KitchenAid!

I remodeled my kitchen in 2013. I thought KitchenAid was a higher end brand so I purchased all my appliances in the stainless steel finish. Within a year the dishwasher door was starting to delaminate and showing dulling spots. In addition the stove top was also starting to show signs of dulling spots and continued to grow in size. I would NOT recommend any KitchenAid appliances. The customer service with KitchenAid is not helpful at all and basically blamed me, the consumer for the problem. After spending over $5000.00 on KitchenAid appliances I expected better quality and customer service.

On 2/4/12, I purchased a Kitchen Aid double oven microwave unit nearly three years ago, when doing a kitchen remodel. All the appliances are Kitchen Aid, thinking we were purchasing a good, reliable brand name. Yesterday, I placed the oven in the self cleaning mode. After about 2 and a half hours, the inner glass panel on the oven door exploded, sending hot, shattered glass onto the floor. The intensity of the heat cracked the new cabinet along the top of the oven. I called the service center, and they indicated there have been no recalls on this problem. I am horrified to think that if my grandchildren were present, they could have been injured. After reading other complaints on this website, I think Kitchen Aid needs to do a recall on this unit. By the way, they did not offer to replace the glass. They said the glass was covered, but not the two service calls to replace it, and the glass can only be ordered by a service technician.

I purchased a KitchenAid 42 Built-In refrigerator through Western Appliances (located at 1976, W San Carlos Street, San Jose, CA 95128). Within 1 year the right door would pop open after closing. I called Western Appliance first and they said they can’t do anything and I should call KitchenAid directly. I called kitchen-aid and they sent service technician, but it didnt fix the problem. In last 1 year they have sent service technicians almost 6 times and the problem still persists. After paying $8389.31 I am using a duct tape to keep the door closed, otherwise the food will go bad.I would like to get either my money back or product exchanged for a good one. Customer service said that they have sent my compliant to Pex department, but they didn’t give me any assurance on when it would be replaced. For last 1 year I am tired of calling them, getting a service scheduled and then staying home from work for the service technician to come home. They have changed hinges, they have even changed the door, but the door still pops open within seconds after closing. Here are more details on the fridge. Regarding our 42 side by side built-in fridge. After some years it starting making some serious loud noises. Finally the fridge gave out. Repairman said he thought the motherboard had gone. OK, fair enough... just order another motherboard, right? My repairman could not find a motherboard in Canada or in the USA. It had to be order through Kitchenaid... but no problem, right?? The company is American, right??? Not so fast. The initial timeline was 4 weeks (which is bad enough) but in the end IT WAS 4 MONTHS!!! During this time I called Kitchenaid more than once to find out where my motherboard was. They could not, or would not give me a straight answer as to any timeline to expect it. My thinking was that it was somewhere in China being created. Thank God we had another fridge in the garage but I have learned my lesson. NEVER, NEVER never will I purchase another Whirlpool product ever again!!! You would think when you pay $10,000 for a fridge a better repair experience would follow. KitchenAid Refrigerator KSSC48QMS01 - Do not buy this refrigerator. We bought a home with a beautiful custom kitchen with this KitchenAid refrigerator and its just given us grief. Thank goodness we bought an insurance package to cover appliance repair. After three different repairmen and waiting weeks for parts to arrive, we found out most parts were not the right ones. Finally we got a Sr. tech guy to assess what was going on and we had to have the mother board sent out to be re-done. Well that seemed to do the trick, but 8 months later we are having issues again. Our insurance carrier would NOT insure the refrigerator. We ended up buying insurance from another carrier which should have told us something. We have rented a refrigerator while new parts are being ordered. We have lost several full freezer and refrigerator loads of food. No fun. I have no confidence with this unit ever being repaired. Its built into its own lacquer custom cabinet. Ugh. We now have another rental refrigerator sitting outside on our patio as we wait two weeks for parts. Would I buy a KitchenAid unit again. No Way.....there is no help out there to fix this mess.

Our compressor is broken on our refrigerator. The tech who came to repair it said the problem is that its a faulty compressor. This happens frequently, he said, and the company that made the faulty compressors that used to go into KitchenAid refrigerators went out of business a few years ago. One would think that if KitchenAid was using a part that it knew to be faulty it could at least give a discount on parts and/or labor when the part fails. Considering the cost of refrigerators today, its very disappointing that KitchenAid would allow customers to be charged an arm and a leg to replace a sub-par part.

I have had KitchenAid dishwasher for a few years. I have not been, and am not happy with this product. We have had trouble with it almost constantly. The control panel has been replaced more than once, we have had to replace several parts on it, and the general service I have had from it is not satisfactory. Now the heating element is not working. We paid a lot for this appliance thinking we would get excellent service because of the KitchenAid reputation. This unit has been pulled out and apart and repaired more than I think is acceptable. When this unit gets replaced, I am thinking I will be going to another brand. It is aggravating to open this unit and find it has not drained, the dishes are not dry, or some other problem has become obvious. Perhaps a lot of people like this dishwasher, but I for one do not.

I paid for high-end KitchenAid appliances because of the reputation of quality and service, and Ive experienced nothing but the opposite; in 2 years, my refrigerator needed a cooling element replaced, my oven glass exploded across my kitchen (thank goodness my children were not standing there!), a heating element in my convection microwave needed to be replaced, and most recently a door switch in the microwave needed replacing because it was causing it to not operate. This last repair, I was out of the 2-year warranty by one month, and they are refusing to cover the $142 cost of the repair. They dont stand by their products. In 2 years, for the thousands of dollars we paid, nothing should go wrong with any appliances, let alone these many occurrences. And to not cover a repair being 1 month past warranty, especially with all of the other problems Ive had, even just to save face, is ridiculous for such a large company.

Called Kitchen Aid to advise that my stainless steel Kitchen Aid refrigerator began developing rust marks 2 years after purchase despite using stainless steel cleaning product recommended. Advised that cosmetics such as rust or discoloration after 30 days from date of purchase are not something they will address. Advised that they do not sell warranty for rust or discoloration. My Kitchen Aid stainless steel range which was purchased at the same time also has a spot where it is discolored. I expect this is only the beginning. The stainless steel used is manufacturing Kitchen Aid is obviously VERY poor quality. When I asked both the customer rep and the manager if Kitchen Aid considered it okay that their products should begin rusting after 2 years, they stated that they were only saying that after 30 days cosmetic issues like rust and other discoloration is not something they can help with. Nor is it something that they will warrant. If you are looking for your appliances to look good in your kitchen for more than a couple of years, I do not recommend Kitchen Aid.

We recently installed our new KitchenAid combination microwave and oven to find several hundreds of fine fiberglass filaments protruding from the oven gasket. The owners manual contained nothing about this. I attempted to call KitchenAid about the filaments. Per page 22 of the owners manual, After checking Troubleshooting, you may find additional help by checking the Assistance or Service section or by calling KitchenAid. When I called, they cited numbers I encountered only a recording directing me to choose from ordering parts or scheduling a service call. I had to learn from non-KitchenAid online sites the filaments are fiberglass. The salesperson, from whom we purchased the oven, directed us to heat the oven to 350 degrees for 2 hours to burn those off and any other oils. We did not find anything in the owners manual identifying and addressing this. We do not want to suffer harmful health effects from eating fiberglass filaments in our food, there is a reason why people wear respirators while installing fiberglass installation. Why would KitchenAid think its okay to be eaten in food?Nor did the owners manual say anything about having to remove the entire appliance to change the microwave light; only that it is inaccessible. This was not disclosed to us when we previewed and later purchased the unit. We were further angered by what we have read today on this and other sites concerning exploding glass, locking doors and temp controls necessitating pulling the circuit breaker to shut it off, self-cleaning leading to exploding glass, inability to replace the microwave light without removing the entire appliance, and KitchenAids knowledge of all of this and more with an unbelievable lack of response reminiscent of Fords fatal exploding Pinto gas tanks and failing Explorer tires. We were already without a microwave and oven during several weeks of our kitchen remodeling, now my wife is afraid to use this appliance, wanting it removed from our home. Most likely, this will necessitate rebuilding the cabinet to accommodate another companys microwave and oven combination, and whatever additional expense and time that will require. Needless to say, after reading this and other complaints we do not hold our breath that KitchenAid will assist us in any way.We have contacted the appliance dealer from whom we purchased this oven to return it. We await his response. We strongly suggest filing complaints with the FTC and reference this and other sites in our complaint.

I had moved to a brand new house; upon appliance delivery we went back to Markham and finally after all furniture was here, with small kids, we planned to stay, so I saw the crack then. Kitchenaid dishwasher model kude201xwh6 - Oh how I wish that I had searched
Kitchenaid dishwasher model kude201xwh6 - Oh how I wish that I had searched your website for reviews prior to purchase! My situation sounds much the same as other reviews. The top rack rollers are simply defective. We have replaced ours through service calls and self repair no less than 5 times in the past 4 years. Finally on the last repair the technician completely replaced the roller and rack arms because the factory had recalled the parts. Yet, I wasnt notified of this by the company. My dishwasher had to break down first before the problem was addressed. To me this smacks of covert activity and doesnt promote my loyalty to the company. Additionally our motherboard has been replaced twice... The first replacement was defective. And today Im doing dishes by hand as the control panel is unresponsive again. We purchased the extended warranty - thank goodness, but again using a warranty on what will now be the 8th time a service tech comes to our home is ridiculous!! Worse yet when we talked to the service department, they have only documented three service calls! Whats that about?? In hindsight, I remember there was paperwork to sign on some calls and not on others. So, I cant prove or verify the number of visits through a paper trail. I would suggest always documenting whenever you call regarding your appliance or have a technician enter your home. Writing the dates, times, and contact person on the appliance manual would be an excellent place to store that information. With each service call the response time is getting shorter. Of that I am very thankful, but shame on any company that would have even three warranty service calls on a product! Buying an appliance shouldnt be a gamble; it should be a wise investment. We were thinking that perhaps the dishwasher was just a lemon. An oddity that the company would gladly replace. It does happen that for an unknown reason one will just be bad. Unfortunately, as I read these reviews, I dont see much hope of the situation being rectified to our satisfaction. I will pursue a request for replacement and hope the company will honor my consumer request. It appears their dishwasher line leaves much to be desired. Other review sites indicate that the KitchenAid dishwasher is better passed over for a more reliable brand. It is unfortunate as the dishwasher meets my expectations when it is operational. However, I will report any satisfactory outcomes I encounter through my attempts at recourse.

Also, the ice maker is freezing over. After 4 warranty service calls, the problems were never fully resolved. Now, we have water which flows into the freezer compartment and freezes on the bottom. Once its full, the water flows onto our wood floors. This was a fairly new model for KitchenAid at the time of purchase and I would recommend do not purchase this style. I purchased a Refrigerator/Freezer in 2012 for my cottage from a local dealer. Over the last year Ice has built up in the freezer floor and then there is water leakage. I would get rid of the ice build up and then no leakage for a short time and then it would start all over again. In the meantime the floor and side wall of the kitchen which housed the fridge became damaged. I called the dealer and they tried to give some things to do which did not work. Eventually we got the dealer out and they came with a new valve and installed a P trap drain tube. Apparently Whirlpool have known of this problem and never let any of their consumers know.As we are on an Island it cost us a lot of money to get a repairman out to replace this piece. I called Whirlpool and they did not want to discuss it and dissuade they could have sent me a replacement but would not pay for the cost of the work to replace the valve even though they knew for years that there was a problem with this part. This is the first time I am taking out the time to write a review in hopes
This is the first time I am taking out the time to write a review in hopes I can save people from making the bad choice of choosing KitchenAid/Whirlpool appliances. We have experienced several problems with several of their appliances but by far the worst is with our 42 side by side built in fridge (over $6,000.) Our first unit had so many problems within two years that Whirlpool finally replaced the unit. This was not easy but with good documentation, photos and me just not backing down, they finally did the right thing. We received the new unit on 12/3/08 (so only 4 years ago) and the icemaker which never really worked well is now broken and caused a lot of damage to our kitchen wood floor.Water dripped down through the bottom of the freezer door onto our hardwood floor. Unfortunately, water can do a lot of damage fast. After another frustrating experience with their customer service department, I finally got an appointment with a repair service. I wont even get into the details of that frustrating experience. Well, the ice making unit cannot be replaced because of insulation in the fridge door and we would have to purchase a brand new door. This would cost about $1,400 to replace and take 6 weeks to order the new door. Never mind the expense of replacing the hardwood floors. The Whirlpool Company could not care less. The door is rusted at the bottom, so this went on for a while but we did not notice it until it got really bad and the water started puddling in front of the fridge. Also just two weeks ago, we had work done on our 4 year old Whirlpool washing machine ($350 repair cost) and now it is starting to act up again. I assume that I will have to replace it soon since I am not willing to put any more money into it. These appliances are poorly built and dont represent the quality product they once were. I hope I was able to save someone out there from making the mistake of investing in any Whirlpool (or any of the other lines built by them) large appliance.

This cleaning technology is a complete joke. KitchenAid/Whirpool solution is to buy their cleaning kit a sponge and a plastic scraper. Food is caked on the inside and does not come off. You cant use any chemical cleaners either so youre looking at a 2-hour cleaning job to maybe get this oven clean. Im shocked that they are still selling ovens with this bogus technology. After running the cycle multiple times some of whats on the bottom comes off after some scrubbing but the sides are still filthy. KitchenAid and Whirlpool need to do a recall and buy all these garbage ovens back from consumers. I paid $2k for my oven and after calling to complain to KitchenAid they had the nerve to tell me a tech could come out but if they decided the oven was working as designed, I would be charged. We built a brand new house in 2011/12. New house means all new appliances. Our KUDS30IXSS6 from Sears seemed like a great product at first. So quiet you sometimes didnt even realize it was on. But then the wheels of the top rack broke off one by one. I realized my brand new Hickory floor boards were beginning to warp - the leak apparently inviting a colony of ANTS to live under my dishwasher!!! And the control panel would stop working from time to time, only to magically start working again after a week or two - just as I was about to call in a repairman. Well it has stopped working again and after reading countless stories of people with the same exact experiences as mine, Im not going to waste my money getting it fixed because according to the reports of others it will only happen again and again.
