They sell the LG product where my wife works and we purchased a refrigerator from there. But when it was delivered, it was damaged by the people that delivered it. I was trying to get it repaired and it was a complete nightmare dealing with LG. They w were absolutely horrible and pathetic. I’ve been dealing with an issue since March and it just got completed last week. That’s how long I’ve been dealing with this. Also, those people don’t even know what the part numbers are for their own product. They tell you they’re gonna call you back, but they never do. If I don’t initiate a phone call, I never hear from them. Then they tell you they’re gonna follow up, but they never follow up. Aside from that, I paid for a part to come to me and when it came, it was the wrong part. They’re liars over there and they tell you what you wanna hear. But once you hang up with them, they’re done with you. The only good thing about LG was the service tech that they sent out here last Thursday and everything’s working fine since he’s been out. Still, I’m never buying another LG product and Id never recommend it.

I thought I had the worst refrigerator experience ever until I read the other reviews of my LG French-door refrigerator. The following is a list of problems most of which occurred within the first year we owned it. There were so many that we didnt call for replacements under the warranty, which we should have done, but we really needed a whole new fridge and we never would have gotten one from them. The door seals dont work properly, so we have to check to see that the doors are shut. You cant open one door without the other opening! The produce bin, which is made of flimsy plastic, cracked and broke so that it wont slide on the track. The ice-maker takes forever to make ice. The water dispenser on door never worked properly. The plastic rim of shelves became loose and was about to fall off. The fridge light overheated and burned and melted the top of the fridge and the light bulb sockets (Im told a lot of LG refrigerators have this problem). The plastic cover over the light never snapped properly into place and we had to use duct tape to hold it on. It eventually warped from too much heat from the bulbs.I did extensive research online to find a French-door fridge that would fit into the space we have. We didnt have many choices and I paid $2200 for the LG fridge. I should have read the reviews first. I will never buy an LG product again and I have told all my friends not to.

The LG website doesnt work and you are unable to register a complaint there. To pre-treat a large cat urine stain on my daughters duvet and cover I poured apple cider vinegar on the spot. Then I put the washing machine on the bulky/bedding cycle, added some more apple cider vinegar, HE detergent and an hour later I put it in the dryer on bulky/bedding setting and chose very dry....twice! Thats an hour for the washer and 2 hours and 10 mins for the dryer. Not only is the duvet and cover still damp but the stain is still there. So tomorrow I am off to the Laundromat where I should have gone in the first place. There is no point in having a bulky/bedding cycle if the machine is unable to handle the load. I will never buy one of these top loaders again. The clothes are NEVER clean and I always have to choose a longer drying time. I feel that LG has misrepresented their product as energy saving!

Dishwasher consistently had been flushing and would not work. Weve had the repair guy out a couple of times but he acts like hed rather be somewhere else. We asked for a different guy since he hasnt been able to resolve our problem 3 times. There is no other guy. Now it is flashing. The dishwasher has worked on and off for about a year. Bought online Costco store. Paid over $2000.00. Both fridge and freezer sections died suddenly in less than 3 years. LG sent repaired person first visit Nothing wrong (But frozen meat are become soft.) Second visit he did something. It works but not as cold as you expect. In next few months again stopped working. I am so tired of cleaning out rotten food, dairy, meat and seafood. I never had such problem with GE or Kenmore. I will never buy LG anymore. So happy to have big fridge with bottom freezer, door in door latest style. I have not even call this time yet. Just finish clean up all inside this Fridge. I hope my warranty is still good or I will complain to Costco and LG to do something. I am tired of this again and again. I won’t expect after I spent this much money to get such useless material and service takes 9 days first time to come. How unhelpful. I tracked down my receipts and have everything but I have to search where I kept. No problem, Costco online always can get it again.

Have this refrigerator for about 2 years and it has quit cooling twice in fridge and freezer. Getting repairs seems to be a big problem as LG says cant find technician in my area. One service provider says we will not work on LG due to complicated process and has gotten only 1 out 7 to work after replacing compressor. LG says to wait several days for them to find technician.

Okay as I was cleaning out the drawers, shelves and inside of my refrigerator for the third time. I purchased it from HHGregg on 11/30/2015. I decided I needed to let others know about this refrigerator so they wouldnt have to go through the same thing. Thankfully I purchased the extended service plan. We replaced the main board on July of 2018 and then the compressor went out on 1/14/2019. I am currently cleaning out the refrigerator again a year later because it quit cooling once again. Luckily, we have another refrigerator in our basement we can transfer all the food to. We have had that refrigerator for over 18 years and have never had a problem. It is a Whirlpool. We have a company coming out on Monday, two weeks from when I put in the order to fix it again. I do not recommend this refrigerator to anyone.

The LG refrigerator was on a sale brand new and nothing was wrong with it. It was the first fridge I bought using my own credit card in my name. It has no issues what so ever mechanically. Stainless steel and I loved the organization options it has with it being huge. It had freezer drawers and fridge was sorted in a way even buying $1000 worth of food anyone could find anything without looking very hard. Best one bought yet. Love it! But it got dirty really fast, you can see the dirt without even looking very hard. The only thing is I can use water or simple cleaners to clean it. My parents and grandparents were looking for a fridge too and I recommended this fridge to both. 1 and 2 bought it and have said they love it. No issues at all and it matches with other appliances they have in their kitchen.

My LG french door refrigerator is six years old. Six months after I purchased it the little spring on the French doors broke I had to buy a new on eBay. A little after the warranty went out the ice maker broke. I paid for a whole new one it wasnt long after that the ice maker broke again so I just left it and started making ice with trays. Now it has stopped cooling and freezing. Now what LG? Youre taking peoples hard earned money thinking they are getting something trustworthy! I have an old Maytag in my garage. Its 30 years old never stopped not once.

Have a LG refrigerator one year old and the shelves are already broken - it will be a year old this May. There is a bad smell coming from the back of the refrigerator like a dead animal. Called LG and they did send the shelf but they would not take off the smell - they are telling us its the filter inside of the refrigerator and it is not covered. If this is something I can not get to myself it should be covered. I am telling you do not buy a LG. I had a dishwasher a few years ago and it only lasted two years. I should have learned my lesson. Please do not make a mistake. Do not Buy.

I just used my A/C for a week. I heard a loud noise coming from outside and smelled electrical burning. I turned it off and tried it again - loud noise from outside the unit and burning smell. I turned the unit off. I was scared the unit was going to catch my house on fire. I called LG to have them service it. I already had the date and time and company they were sending. Then the customer service guy informed me the warranty had already expired 6 days ago. Really! This company could not honor it - after buying a refrigerator and stove from them. I am really disappointed with them. Let’s see if I buy another product from LG or even recommend them to my family are friends.

Came recommended by family member to begin with. We liked the fridge size the most. A lot of room for veggies and other daily things we eat. The brand itself received a lot of good marks when my wife research it online before making the purchase. Customer service has been outstanding with this fridge. We made a great choice. Has ice maker with cubes or crushed ice. Everything fresh and cold, space for eggs and produce. Able to hold milk in the door. Doors fit salad dressing and the smaller bottle that need to be refrigerated. Freezer a little small seems like hard to put larger items in the freezer one or maybe 2 larger meat items. Small drawer can hold vegetables and popsicle ice cream bars but its a little small.

Purchased a new $2K+ LG refrigerator 4 years ago as part of an entire kitchen suite. The compressor (sealed system) failed, and while the labor wasnt covered under warranty, the parts to repair the refrigerator was covered. I had a LG certified technician make 5 separate visits trying to repair my refrigerator and it was never fixed. It simply will not cool anything in both the refrigerator and freezer. Thus, Ive had to go out and purchase a new refrigerator at my expense. Ive tried to go through the LG process whereby they would consider replacing or reimbursing my refrigerator. They have continued to deny my request, thus the reason Ive been forced to purchase a new refrigerator to replace my LG unit that was barely 4 years old. I will never purchase another LG appliance as they do not stand by their products.

I have had this washing machine for over a year and am very dissatisfied with it. I would NOT recommend anyone purchase this machine. You can only dream of getting a hot wash unless you turn off the cold water faucet. Then you have to turn it on to get enough water for a rinse. The sheets are twisted in knots and other articles of clothing wrapped in them. You must stop the machine and unravel the sheets. During the wash one of the sheets balloons up covering the whole load and this requires another manual adjustment. I had a Samsung top loader which was recalled because the drum came loose. Wish this would happen to this washer so I could get rid of it. If I were able to give it - 0 stars, that would be my rating. I cannot stress enough, you will not be happy with this washer. Not all of the negative reviews. They are all true.

***DONT BUY THIS FRIDGE*** We bought our LG french door refrigerator in March 2014. Model number LF33975st. Woke up this morning to ice on the floor, and the dispenser running nonstop. Even after turning off the ice maker, and making sure the dispenser paddle wasnt stuck, it continued to run. I called LG customer service. They cant send anyone until tomorrow. The motor on the door should be completely fried by then!!! Fortunately, I bought the extended warranty from Best Buy, because after reading this site, I am very worried about this $3700 dollar product. For this amount of money, I shouldnt be having any trouble. Especially after 2 months..

A little over three years and the washer WM2455H, a front loader broke making a grinding sound and the drum wouldnt turn. I got hold of service on a Sunday evening and a service technician came out on Tuesday evening. Its $89 to walk in the door and 10 mins. to figure out the rotor splines stripped, but he didnt have part. He fitted me in on a Friday evening and was charged a total of $150 labor for a 10 min. job. Part is covered under warranty but I could have bought the part for $80 and saved $70 and days without washer. Technician was very nice and helpful. He spent more time having to do his electronic paperwork than fixing machine (I blame the company). Also, the digital minute readout has some of it pixels out. Im just complaining of the reliability of a machine just 3 yrs old.

It worked great for approximately 3 years & then the heating would not work properly, I have to set the heating at 425 to reach 350 temperature. Of course at this point it is out of warranty. I’ve had a LG service repair man out to fix & he could not figure out what it could be. I paid for his service & it actually worked properly for about 2 weeks then back to low heat. I’ve never had any problems with ovens. We bought all new LG appliances in the black stainless & no problems with them but the electric range is a fail. Will never buy anything LG ever again.

I purchased a LG refrigerator from Abt Electronics in 12/15. Less than 8 months, the ice maker was not working. The manufacturer came out, ordered the part and had it delivered to my house the next day. He returned to install it. Then less than 18 months after purchasing the new refrigerator, it started making a strange noise. The next morning, there was water in it.Called LG and was told the warranty was up since it was over a year old to call Abt and use my extended warranty service. Called Abt, they diagnosed the problem as it needing a new condenser! Had to wait on the part. Returned a week later installed the condenser. Later the same day, the panel on the doorways showing an error code and the ice maker or water dispenser wouldnt work nor was it cooling in the refrigerator but the freezer was working. Used my extended service warranty again, had to wait a week to get the part and reschedule another service call. They came out to install the fan.I have now had all three major parts on this less than 1.5 year old LG refrigerator. What else can go wrong now? Thank goodness I had an old 30 year old refrigerator in my garage to use as a backup! Wouldnt ever buy an LG refrigerators again. Hoping this last five years! My earlier refrigerator lasted 22 years with no repairs. I just bought a new one since I had my kitchen remodeled!

Purchased in 2015 to replace a 10+ year old GE. Worst mistake we ever made was to spend $2700 on an LG 3 French Door model number: LFXS30766S /02. I am going to spare you the long version. After 18 mos the water dispenser stopped working and we were told it was not repairable. We kept using the ice maker but it began to lock up due to ice build up with every filling. We battled that for six months and decided to just turn the water off to the unit. Purchased an expensive french door refrigerator in 2015. In 2016 the motherboard went out and we were out of a refrigerator for 2 weeks. Was advised to purchase the extended warranty to lower the repair cost (to $300). Now, in 2017, the compressor is out and we are again without a fridge for a week and lost all our food. The kicker? The compressor is under a 10 year warranty but only for the $160 part. LG is still charging me $400 for labor. Its their flat fee for warranty work, regardless of how long it takes. They overcharge for the labor to cover the cost of all the parts they have to replace. This fridge has cost me ~$1,000 is service and lost food and its only 3 years old. Spoke with supervisor Donald and he was rude, interrupted me constantly, and flatly refused to provide any customer to lower the labor charge since Ive had so many problems with this fridge. He told me to call other techs and see what they would charge--I have. No one else will work on LG fridge compressors because they fail too often. Im filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and sending a letter to the corporate office. I encourage everyone here who is a victim of LG to do the same. Bought this top-of-the-line LG April 2013, 10 year linear compressor. Compressor died after a year and 4 months, they cover the part only which requires almost $500 in labor. Talking to LG, I believe takes you to a foreign country phone bank. They are no help at all. They kept asking when I bought it and I said, You have the information. I filled out the warranty card. They said, That doesnt go to us, and admitted that the warranty cards go to a third-party. In other words they sell the information obtained on the so-called warranty card. I finally found the receipt in my tax file, otherwise wouldve had no warranty at all. They covered about $380 in parts. $600 of food spoiled and all that labor on a new $3000 refrigerator.

Buyer beware!!! LG Appliances are horrible!!! I recently remodeled my whole kitchen and liked the way the black stainless steel appliances looked. I’m usually a Maytag fan but they didn’t carry the black stainless steel so I went with LG. HUGE mistake!!! The dishwasher is junk in less than 3 months. The dishwasher needed a whole new power board. After dealing with customer service and getting the runaround I finally had my dishwasher fixed after 3 weeks of non use. Now here it is 6 months later I’m having the same problem. This time customer service is worse. They sent the work order to 3 different places that don’t come to my area, spent hours on the phone and I’m already 2 weeks without a dishwasher and still dealing with this problem. This is a thousand dollar hunk of junk! That’s not the only problem the 3rd rack is useless, it doesn’t dry your dishes, it takes 2 hours to complete a load and everything is still wet, the tines are flimsy and always fall over causing you to break dishes at times, it’s always humid inside the dishwasher that creates an odor all the time and I pre rinse my dishes and clean the trap regularly. I have nothing nice to say about it except that it’s nice to look at and it’s quiet. Especially now because it doesn’t work! If you value the opinion of others and the reviews you read do not buy LG! I’m already Experiencing problems with my stove and my fridge has dents in it from just regular use. It’s like it’s made out of putty you look at it and it dents. LG should stick to making TVs. I’m highly disappointed and can’t wait to replace all of my appliances with Maytag!

Purchased an LG front load wash machine July 2013. Unless the wash machine is running the door is left open. We are having terrible mold issues. I can clean the mold off of the rubber seal where it is visible but there is a lot of mold where the seal meets the drum and the rubber does not fold back. I have tried cleaning it with a toothbrush and bleach since my finger barely fits in the space but the smell is still horrible and there is no way to wipe the mold out of the small space. On March 28, 2015 our LG front load machine was run on the tub clean cycle. It overfilled with water and the door seal failed. Water poured out of the machine and it just kept on filling. Water damaged several rooms in our home. We handled the emergency by shutting off the water supply. Hooking up shop vacs to the drain hose to empty the water in the machine. Shop vacs were filled many times over to clean up the floors and empty the machine. Commercial Dehumidifiers, floor dryers and fans were brought in to try and save the wood and tile floors, cabinetry and personal things. Water bubbled out of the wood floors in our new home.We contacted our retailer, Grand Appliance in Madison Wisconsin and they said they will file a claim with LG, but that LG doesnt typically cover both replacing the defective machine and repairing the damages caused. I will report back when we have something in writing from LG, but we are not happy that they havent responded yet and even more unhappy that the retailer cannot assure us the manufacturer will make this right.

Unit started icing inside and water inside as well, after several (self do it yourself) defrosting, problem continued. Called LG again and they said they could not take care of it, that I needed to make appointment with them to have it fixed. I told them I would take the frig/unit and drop it in front of the store explaining to everyone what was wrong with it and worthless it was. They got connected online and reset it and it worked fine for a while. Now its doing it again. All of their units are worthless even their cell V10 & V20, their dishwasher its also another piece of crap. NEVER AGAIN will I ever buy LG. So far stove/oven and microwave works... but give it time. BTW, units are less than three years old and Im hardly ever home to use them, so it should only be about 6 months worth of use. Thank God I didnt buy the washer and dryer from them.

BUT I will NEVER EVER NEVER buy a Lq Product!...The refrigerator NEVER worked correctly! I would give them ZERO stars and raise them a class action suit. I did see at one time their was a class action suit that look like it got dismissed.

LG Tromm Washing Machine (Model WM2455H) - I constantly get some sort of sludge from this machine on my clothes even though I regularly clean the filter out at the bottom of the machine. The machine always smells like sewer water and/ or moldy. It has been this way for the entire 6 years I have owned the machine. I have never experienced this with any other machine. I hate it!

We bought an LG washer because it looked like it had new features that others did not. Boy does it ever. Every complaint Ive read I have experienced with this top loader. When washing sheets, at the end of the cycle one sheet is tight over the rest of clothes like a balloon and clothes underneath are so wrinkled I have to rewash to get them out. Areas of clothes are dry, HOW DOES THIS HAPPEN??? The clothes then dont get clean or even smell clean. 48 hours after buying this washer, I used it for the first time. Was so disgusted I called Home Depot about getting a refund. I was told I only had 24 hours to return it, to call LG. I was then told they had the same rules, 24 hours. This is **! Here are my photos.

We bought a washer dryer combo from Appliances Connection the end of November 2017. It worked until around Feb 1 2018. It displayed a error code OE. We pull out the owners manual and found out it was a full filter. We cleaned it and it worked for about 3 weeks. Again OE code. We cleaned filter again, not too dirty but the washer worked for week. OE again. Nothing in filter this time. We called LG. They try to walk us through the problem and could not get it to work. They called a repair person. It took 3 weeks for service. The repairman came out. My husband took the day off work to meet him. He was 4 hours late. He look at the machine for about 10 mins said it was fixed. 13 mins into cycle it displayed OE. He was still in our driveway. He went to work on it again. He never took the top off to look inside. 10 mins later he said, Ok its fixed. Went to do his paperwork. 13 mins into cycle OE. He had left. We called and said same thing was happening. Repairman came back 2 hours later. Never took the top off. Said its fixed. Left 13 mins later. OE. Call shop closed. Next day repair shop said it will be 10 days for new repair person. Same guy came out. Hes mad now. Pulled plug on the drain and flooded my floor hardwood. Never ever came to tell us. Took his shop vac and dump the dirt on my front lawn. I have pictures. All area rug soaked. 20 min no top off its fixed. He left. I called LG to tell them of our problem. After 23 calls and at least an hour on hold a piece they agreed they would send a new repair person. New repair person was to come on Saturday. No showed. I called him all day. At 5:30 he returned my call and said he never set an appt. with LG to come. He said he could come in an hour 6:30 at 7:30. John came was at our house for 2 mins. Said he new the problem and would order the part. 1 week later no news. Call LG. They cant help me. I need to call John repair guy. No answer from him. Days pass calling LG and John. Nothing. Weeks later John calls to say he never got the part. I call LG. They say he never requested it. LG said they need a part number to check on it and I would have to get it from John. Called John. No answer. Called LG. Nothing they can do. 2 weeks of daily calls to LG on hold about any hour on avg. John calls me finally the day after LG told me they were going to refund me for the washer and told me he had the part and was coming on Mothers Day to put it in 7 am. I told him we had church and brunch at 9 am. He assured me he would be there. He showed up at 9 am. We did not make church or brunch. 30 mins spent to not taken off. He cleaned the filter and said LG sent him the wrong part but the washer was working. It did work for 4 loads then OE code again. Called LG. Still no refund or replacement or a washer that works. I dont know what to do. We have lost 5 days of work. Over 200 hour on the phone with LG. 45 min one way to nearest laundry at $60 a week. And hundreds of hour of our lives.

LG Front Loader Washer Model: WM3170CW. Purchased this washer from Lowes. After the first wash, the inside seal was giving off a smell. So paranoid about this, I made sure to wipe the inside door glass, seal after every wash. This unit leaves water in the soap tray after every wash, so I take out the tray and drain it and allow that to dry. I also have to get down and open the door with the drain tube. I drain out all the water that is - I guess - still inside the washer?! A lot of water comes out. This washer is a major pain. After continuing to do ALL of this after every use - my washer smells horribly musty and moldy. Totally unacceptable. I have put cleaning tablets in it - and even run bleach through it on the clean cycle. Still smells. This washer is a lemon. Do not purchase it. I deserve a new washer - but a different model! I expected this to be a good washer - being an LG. They used to have a good reputation. I paid $750.00 for this washer.

In January of 2016 I took delivery of a set of LG Black Stainless Kitchen appliances from Lowes. I purchased stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave. They were very expensive and what I consider to be high end in terms of models. Within a short time, I began to notice the refrigerator scratched at the drop of a hat. This was not my experience with prior stainless appliances. I learned the black stainless just has a black film on it and it is not the true color of the stainless.Just 2 years later, I am seeing the black coating or film peel away from the handles on my dishwasher. Just having a ring on and opening the door to the fridge is leaving scratches. Plus spots of where the film is wearing off are on the front of the fridge and at the edges of the door. The film near the handles on the dishwasher is peeling away. I called LG and they could care less. Since it is more than one year old, too bad for the consumer. There is no product on the market to try and at least cover the appearance of this faulty coating. So, just 2 years and over $7000 later I am stuck with products that are obviously defective in terms of the finish. I will NEVER do business with LG again since they gave me a defective product and will not stand behind what they sell the consumer. I have seen other negative reviews about this same issue. There should be a class action against this company for this product.

I spent $250 in repairs, the screen showing the temperature does not show correct numbers anymore, and the technician told me that we cannot repair that unless we pay big money for it which doesnt make sense on top of the $250 we already paid.

I have been reasonably satisfied with the refrigerator itself. The icemaker is not all that great but that seems to be a common characteristic in most residential refrigerator/freezers with an icemaker. I had the refrigerator approximately two years and the compressor started going out intermittently. It took a week or so for a technician to come and look at it but they did come and look at it and seemed to fix it, although they did not replace the compressor at that time (which is a problem that LG knows about ).Six months later (May of this year) it completely went out on us. And this happened two days before our vacation. It took them ultimately three weeks to come and fix the refrigerator and my children were at home with no refrigerator. We lost approximately $500 in food, with a inadequate food reimbursement of $150. That felt a little bit like a slap in the face after all the problems we had gone through to get the refrigerator repaired. We went through three different technician appointments and the local repair company was both unresponsive and incompetent. When LG was contacted directly, they promised to help but offered no real help in getting our refrigerator repaired sooner. I own several different LG products and I certainly will do more research and be more careful about buying LG products in the future, no longer just taking for granted That their products are of the quality that I would normally expect from LG.

It should be bigger, more light and maybe try a see thru version of a it to attract more people and make kids say mommy get the clear fridge the is me personally but you know Im nobody. The look and quality it seemed like enough space which it was for a time but I like to eat. Its not too heavy and it doesnt make a loud noise. I used to have a loud ** fridge. Hated it. I go on and with all the problems I have had with this fridge from one month after I got it and all the food that I have lost and LG wont do nothing about it. Especially now that it is off of warranty. It first started with the ice maker and then the fans that keep going out in the freezer and you would have to turn the numbers and it would end up freezing the food on top and then it get so warm you end up throwing all of your food out. Just like the other day, I had to throw over half of my food and food is not cheap. I have had repairman and repairman after repairman out and it maybe fixed for a couple of weeks or a month and it would be back at it again. I have tried to get LG to replace it or give my money back and they couldnt care less. I have asked them about the lemon policy they mention in the paper and they couldnt care less. Just like would tell me there is no such thing and I would tell them I have it here in black and white and now that my extended warranty is out, Home Depot wont have anything to do with you. They just want to go away. I cant afford to buy another one but do they care? Heck, no. They think youll just go out and replace it. I paid close to $2,000 for it and they dont. Now the top half is keeping things so warm I cant trust putting food in it because in a couple of days, it would be sour and would just have to throw it out. Now dont expect them or anyone to help you. Now, my ice maker is at it again and my electric bill is really showing it because I have to turn it up. All I am asking them to do is replace it and not with the same model and you think they would even bother consider that, no!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What the consequences is that you dont get a replacement or get any money back and lime. I said I could go on for days of all the problems but what good would it do? So guess who does without a fridge, not them, me. Someone needs to do something with them not even wanting to replace it and when you are willing to even downgrade yourself. I have all the same complaints if not more as everyone else but you only can place so much on this. And no one cares anyways and NO HELP ANYWAY, but I thought I at least could write this and try and WARN OTHER PEOPLE, DONT EXPECT ANY HELP.

The sales person highly recommended it and I quickly found out why. I like the ice maker. It kept temperature well, and had an amazing seal. The inside door shelf designs were amazing. The air circulation inside the refrigerator was optimal, and the freezer froze things solid in more than adequate time. The color options were limited in my area, so I opted for the white one. I have owned an LG refrigerator for five years, and have now had 3 times where it stopped sufficiently cooling due to a well known issue with the compressor and other internal components. There is even a class action lawsuit that covers numerous models. Part of the class-action lawsuit requires them to extend the warranty up to 5 years. Since I am now about 7 months past that 5 years warranty, LG will cover the parts to repair, but not the labor. Since the repair is quite involved, it is expensive and therefore not worth it, especially since this would have been the THIRD time to replace the compressor and other parts, and there is no guarantee it would be a durable repair. If the third failure of the compressor had happened just 7 months earlier, I would have been entitled, per the terms of the settlement, to compensation. I realize at this point LG is not obligated to do anything beyond the terms of the class action settlement, but it is infuriating to me that a company would produce a product like this, need to have a class action lawsuit to do right by its customers, and seems content to leave me with a product they know is faulty and refuse to take responsibility based essentially on a technicality. Its disgraceful. Avoid LG products. This is a nightmare.

First LG purchase was in Nov. 2009 with a convection oven/stove and dishwasher. Bought them at hhgregg and purchased the extended warranty. Moved out of that home in May 2010 and left the appliances there as I had planned on renting out that home. The end of May (for my new place) I purchased an LG front loader washer and dryer (Home Depot with extended 5 yr warranty) because it seemed like LG was a good brand from all the reviews I had read. Got renters in the next month for my old house and they were in there about a year. We left the house empty with someone checking on it every couple days for a year and a half. We moved back in Dec. 2012. We moved out again in March of 2014 to a larger home but took the stove with us. The dishwasher started having issues in July of 2014 for our new tenants. Our extended warranty covered it and the repairs ended up costing more than it was to buy a new one so it was completely replaced by the warranty. All in all, the dishwasher was used for about 3 of those 5 years before needing replacement. In December 2014 my dryer wont power on at all and I have to call Home Depot for the repair. They tell me its the motherboard and it gets replaced. This ends up being about a $200+ repair covered by the warranty. That same month, my LG oven wont heat up. The display says its 350 but I can easily touch the racks, and food is not cooking. My stove is no longer under warranty so the expense is on me. I call a repair guy out who tells me its one of the heating elements. $125 later everything seemed fine until 8 months later when now my washing machine wont drain and my stove has another issue. Neither are under warranty. The washing machine needs a new pump at about $200. My stoves motherboard gets replaced at about $200. Fast forward to April 2016. Stove not heating up again. Had appliance guy out who tried telling me we dont have enough electricity coming into our house after charging me $200 for some electrical part he said was bad and it didnt solve the problem. I called electric company who checked everything and house had plenty of juice. Got part of my money back from the appliance guy since he misdiagnosed the stove and cost me more money. Husband replaced the second heating element (theres two in this particular model) and everything seemed fine until August of this year. Washing machine is giving pump failure message again, dryers display is not working right (cant see how many minutes left -- digital display unreadable), and the stove went out again. Stove was approx 5 years old before we started replacing part after part. Washer and dryer were 5 years old before we started having issues. I have an LG fridge and dishwasher (purchased Dec. 2014), but I think these will be my last appliance purchases from LG. 3 appliances getting replaced is ridiculous in one month. Quality is just not important anymore to these companies. I dont expect them to last forever, but 7-8 years would have been nice. Will not purchase another LG appliance.

We recently went through 4 months of renovations. What a nightmare and the contractor is not coming back to do the final touchups. We had our kitchen completely gutted and when it came to appliances we purchased and LG range and fridge. Both are working just fine. It takes a bit of getting used to when going from appliances from the 70s and 80s to new. We have had no problems with the fridge but then we have only been using it for a couple of months. The stove works fine. I thought getting a new stove would mean that I would wait a shorter time for a pot of water to boil but no. We are having a problem with the smell of gas every time we use the range. Whether it be the oven or burners, we smell gas. There is conflicting information on the internet as to whether this is normal. We shouldnt be able to smell gas in other rooms other than the kitchen but we do when we use the range. The other issue which is major is the knobs for turning on the burners. This is a complete safety hazard and how this design passed any safety inspections before selling to the public is beyond me. I have singed my long hair twice, once reaching into a cupboard near the stove and another cleaning by the stove just because I barely leaned against the range. The knobs turn by barely brushing up against them and instantly the burner is on before you can get out of the way. If my children were still small I would not keep this stove. It is a accident just waiting to happen. I find this design terribly irresponsible for a company to have and this range should be recalled. I also find the venting of the oven across the cook top not the best design also. When I use the oven and the burners at the same time too much heat is being created and at one time our range hood fan went off on its own and didnt shut off until the heat had dissipated. At the same time the oven vent causes the pots on the stove to heat up even more than from being on the burners and the handles can not be handled unless using a pot holder. It bakes well. We find we use the convection more because on bake food isnt crisping up as much as we would like. I guess thats the difference between electric heat and gas. Companies need to stand by their products better. Our old fridge of 25 years is still going on strong and has been relegated to the car port as an overflow fridge. I am certain that these new appliances of today would never last that long. If the new LG fridge goes we might have to bring the old one back inside. Oh and our 2 year old Samsung T.V. just completely died. What quality!!!

Back in November 2006, my husband and I remodeled our kitchen. We purchased all LG products, refrigerator, dishwasher, electric range, and microwave oven. I have had issues with each appliance. The refrigerator, the ice machine broke and leaked ice water in the entire freezer section and kitchen floor. The microwave oven handle has cracked. The dishwasher does not clean the dishes, and the soap dispenser always has caked on soap residue. As of this date, I have not had an oven for over a month. The keypad panel stopped working, the wrong part arrived. I did contact LG and placed a formal complaint to the customer service representative, I have had no response. My LG refrigerator stopped cooling on June 26, 2021, so I called LG customer service to schedule a service appt. The young lady told me that my fridge was still under the warranty. I only purchased it in 2017. The warranty says 10 years for the compressor. They said someone would contact me to schedule an appt. No one called me so I called the number customer service provided. The service agent told me he would be at my house on July 6, 2021, but no one showed. I immediately called customer service back to let them know their people were a no-show, and they did not even call to say they were not going to make it. So the customer service rep. told me that someone would be out to fix the problem in 2 days July 8, 2021. I also lost food trying to preserve it thinking someone would come out in a reasonable time to fix it. In two days another no-show. I emailed a letter to the companys liaison to the president of the company, she called and I told her what happened. I also filed a claim for reimbursement for my lost food. I asked could I get a replacement refrigerator since no one has come out to fix it. The response was I will put in another order for service. They said they cannot replace it, and made a prorated offer for the fridge and an offer for compensation for the food after some negotiating on my part. As it stands it has been a month with no word back from them. I have reached out numerous times, kept all my correspondence with the company. I had to go into debt to purchase another refrigerator because the freezer also went out on it. I have not received a check for the food neither have I heard anything back from the company about a counteroffer for this broken fridge. I only asked for less than $100 dollars more to help toward my other fridge since they said they could not replace it. I will never buy another LG product again. I am still waiting to hear from them and I have been calling 1-888-412-8357 for the RA department to speak with someone, but no one answers the phone. I have waited several times for at least an hour listening to a recording. They dont care about their customers.

I recently purchased over 10k in appliances from Home Depot and the Studio
I recently purchased over 10k in appliances from Home Depot and the Studio line of LG ranges is an engineering nightmare. As others have expressed on their reviews, this range (LG Studio 6.3) presents a very risky and dangerous fire hazard. We did a complete remodel on a new beach house and used all studio LG products, we do not even as yet occupy the house and have never cooked on the stove, nonetheless, mere bumping of the knobs will cause them to turn on unbeknownst to the passerby... Our new 150k custom kitchen would have been set alight if my husband had not smelled the smoke from another room. This has already happened 3 times in the month the range has been installed with no one actually occupying the residence! In disbelieve I did a google search and lo and behold this seems to be a common denominator for all LG range owners. I have contacted Home Depot and LG (Blah blah... We will send a tech. Lol.) however my brother who is a NASA engineer had a look and determined it is an engineering design flaw. It appears LG is closing this model out however if they had any credibility they will recall this immediately before there is serious injury or death... If there has not been already. I am speaking with a law firm next week about a possible class action suit and will post on this site with any information. If you are considering this product, you should do this with the utmost caution, it is a dangerous design.

I have had this washing machine 3 years now. We have two kids so we do a load a day. The machine washes satisfactorily. But then again, most washing machines do. What I would like to caution you against are the high cost of spare parts you WILL NEED as well as the complexity of repairing this machine. When I finally bought this machine, I had read a few reviews about how the rubber gasket inside the door started to smell badly after 6 months or so. I was so enticed by the steam part of the deal that I overlooked this point. Sure enough this Tromm washer has a huge rubber gasket inside the door. This part is very hard to clean as it has a concealed ledge inside. IT WILL START SMELLING after a few months of use no matter how much you clean the tub with bleach or how many times you clean the gasket. Your clothes will smell rotten after a wash. And when they dry they smell musty. This part which costs $130 can be changed by an appliance repair service. It is very hard to do it yourself because the machine has to be opened. Total cost for replacing the gasket is $253. Next... the drain pump will break also. Give it a couple of years or so. The drain pump costs $60 to replace and with the service call that comes to another $210 total. I was amazed the work that was needed to change this pump. First of all, the pump is located in the worst possible place, and the Tromm needs to be opened in multiple places to access this pump. The job took 45 minutes to replace the pump.I am now looking into a Whirlpool clothes washer and after investigating the same parts it seems they are much cheaper and much easier to change if the machine needs to be repaired. I for one will not be buying another LG steam washer.

It was competitively priced versus the competition and I liked the look better. It had most of all the features I was looking for. I had also heard very good reviews regarding LG refrigerators and decide to try it. I like the stainless steel look it had and also the amount of storage it had and also customizable shelving. The freezer also had a ton of storage and temperature controls were included as well. I dont have a whole lot of complaints. It has been and continues to fulfill its purpose. However, if I had one complaint it would be it has no ice maker.

The compressor on our fridge went out 2 weeks ago. We told customer service it was the compressor. A repair man came 3 days later. He let us know the compressor was bad. We already knew this! Did he have the part with him? No. He ordered the part. It’s on backorder. No one can tell us when the fridge will be repaired. Meanwhile, I’m using a cooler for food for our family of four and shopping daily to get ice and meat. This is nuts and the whole thing feels like a scam. I’m going to have to buy a new fridge soon and it will definitely not be an LG.

LG French Door Refrigerator was moved to new address and wouldn’t come on
LG French Door Refrigerator was moved to new address and wouldn’t come on at all. I figured it was the cord, got pulled or something of that matter. I called to inquire on warranty and set appointment for repair. The place it was purchased gave me the number of the repairmen and the repairman showed and said he was not certified to work on LG, call Sears. So, I called Sears and they offered a warranty that would cover all repairs and services for $274, actually $300.00 after tax. They set a 2nd appointment, they show and tell me that $900+ in repairs and I only have $500.00 worth of coverage. I questioned the repairman that warranty was to cover all repairs/pans underneath and the ice maker, which is funny because it is not hooked up to water for ice. I guess he has some spirit that will tell him and guess what, it needs a new cord. I had Sears email the so called extended warranty. It only covers $500.00 toward repairs, or $500 credit at Sears, or I can have my $300.00 back. Wow, this is service that says to the consumer, I will sell a warranty that sounds great but the actual warranty covers LG for selling a $2,000.00+ fridge that is only worth $500.00 maybe and that is only when it is under 2 years old.

Bought a nice looking LG fridge 3 years ago. Worked for about 2 years. On the 3rd year, the freezer does not cool. Called LG and was able to get a technician to come out. Fridge was fixed after $280 in labor. Was told the compressor was bad and there was a leak in the system sealed system. Thank God the parts were under warranty. 11 months later, freezer is not cooling again now. Call LG and they wanted $125 trip charge plus $250 for labor before they will come out to take a look at it. Give me a runaround. For a $3000 refrigerator I would of expect it to last more than 3 year. My old $700 whirlpool fridge lasted me 10+ year.

I have an LG dishwasher (model LDF692ST) slightly over 2 years old. It has had 2 motors and a pump replaced and now the service guy said the motor is gone again. It doesnt dry the dishes at all and the door falls down when opened without support. The only thing I did right at Best Buy was purchase a warranty but will be out in 2 weeks. I have a kitchen full of LG but that is changing. I wanted a replacement but looks like another repair is all I will receive. Buyer, beware: these are junk and my only recourse is to warn others.

Very spacious with lots of labeled compartments make it easy to find things. Very contemporary design so it matches my kitchen decor. The freezer is located on the bottom which leaves more refrigerator room to store cold food and beverages. The water is filtered and ice can be cubes or crushed for drinks. Shelves are easy to remove and clean. The stainless steel is modern look and easy to keep clean. Overall I love the product. It matches my microwave perfectly. Designed very well. I dislike the temperature. Sometimes it gets too cold and freezes my refrigerator items and also there is an annoying sensor that beeps to let you know the door is open. It is a good and bad thing because it makes sure you remember to close the door so that food wont spoil but also its a bad thing when you are loading groceries and need the door open for a long time. I chose LG because it is a brand I trust and I know is high quality and durable to last me and get my moneys worth. I have other LG products so the purchase was inevitable and yes it has met my initial expectations.

I dont ever review and this is very uncharacteristic of me but I feel I have to share LGs terrible customer service. We spent over $7k on a whole new set of appliances that were all LG. We cant use our cooktop or the fridge and we bought the top of their line. We are currently over 5 hours on the phone, over a month and half without the use of our appliances, one LG service tech that never showed, never called, and no explanation, and STILL waiting to get our brand new appliances fixed so we can use them. They wont replace them and say they cant find a service tech (other than the no show Froggys from Arnold Mo) in our area to fix them even though they are brand new. So, DO NOT BUY LG AND DONT USE FROGGYS FROM ARNOLD MO.

I have top load LG smart drum - worst washer ever. UE ERROR CODE unbalanced load. Takes all day to do 2 loads because machine has to be babysat - it continually fills with water to balance load. Also it does not clean clothes well. The technician said it does not clean clothes well because I have well water (it is filtered and very clean water) and said that this washer would not work unless I did very large loads. He said 5 towels at one time not enough. Also LG will not do anything about it unless it is deemed un-repairable. Their technicians are trained with a list of excuses not to deem un-repairable as you can see above. I offer LG the machine back for free if they put it in a LG executives home - to see if they could use it properly. They said no.

We were able to restart it and it would complete its cycle. That worked for a short time and then it started to error out all of the time. We contacted LG and they told us to contact a repair service. We purchased a new part and that did not work, so LG sent us a new control panel. That did not work. We have taken the machine out and put back in, made sure it was level and it still did not work. We now have an immaculate dishwasher that does not work. I purchased the LG LFX31925SW/04 in May of 2013. Within a very short period of time the compressor went and it stopped cooling. The part was replaced and covered by warranty. The ice maker had problems freezing up from the very get-go. I just learned to take a spoon and open the compartment in the door to break it up. The door must not keep it cool enough to remain frozen. There are only two of us who live in this house so its not being opened and closed frequently. At about year 2 1/2 the area under directly the ice make maker started rusting and became very unsightly. My husband tried to fix it and of course you can not get a professional finish at home. I called the warranty dept. of LG and they informed me it was not covered under warranty because its considered cosmetic! I would not agree, given that the poor design it what is causing this issue. The metal obviously on the front of the fridge is not rust resistant. It now looks like it came from the local thrift shop. We live in an air-conditioned home with low humidity. UGH! The refrigerator door on the right side is now not closing and it must be another design flaw because it is mentioned repeatedly online as an issue. The cost of the French door refrigerator was $2400. And that was 5 years ago. I bought the microwave and the dishwasher at the same time. They have functioned ok, but I would never buy LG again given my experience with the product and the customer service!

We purchased our LG machine from Home Depot online, September 2013. Although I do not like how the machine operates (cannot fill) (never enough water) (takes forever to wash a load), it stopped emptying April 26, 2015. We called for service which was to take place on April 29. It was determined the machine needed a new pump. It was ordered that day and was to be in in 3-5 business days. After waiting 10 days, we called Diamond Warranty service. We were told the part was ordered and there was nothing else they could do about it. We then called Home Depot and when they checked, they found the part had been backordered and then reordered and again should be in in 3-5 business days. It finally came in May 15. We set up the repair for May 19. I took off work because my husband was in court all day. At 7:30 on the 19th, they called and said the repairman was ill and rescheduled to Thursday, May 21. On May 21, they called and said the person would be out the rest of the week and could reschedule next week after Monday. I have now been without a washer for 25 days. Home Depot said they can do nothing but file a report against Diamond warranty and it will take one to two business days for a supervisor to respond. When I called LG they said they were very sorry and could only do the same. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, they asked me to stay on the line. I held for 13 minutes and then hung up. Obviously neither LG nor Home Depot care. I want out of the extended warranty and they can take the washer and shove it because neither are any good. I have been to the laundromat 4-5 times and spent 11 to 15 dollars each time and still have no washer. I will never buy anything from LG or Home Depot again. Even if they do come out next Wednesday, it will have been 31 days without a washing machine. This is ridiculous!

Most of my family has LG refrigerators. We also enjoy the style that LG has that was why we went with them. We like the whole line, so we got the stove, microwave, fridge, and dishwasher. I like the fridges French doors and the way they open up to allow us to access the extra-wide fridge without swinging the door all the way open. Also, it doesn’t take up so much room in the kitchen. LG did a phenomenal job, but I had some issues with the black stainless flaking off. A rep came out to replace the doors, and that was phenomenal. But when they replaced the doors, one side doesn’t shut on its own anymore unless I slam it. I’ve tried calling them back a number of times, but there was no response. That part was disappointing, but the product overall, when it’s set and adjusted right, is phenomenal.

I am very disappointed with LG product. I have had a broken refrigerator since December 25, 2018. The first time a technician from LG had come to fix it was December 30th. The technician has been coming back every week since then and it is still not fixed. Its only been 17 months since Ive purchased this refrigerator and it has not been working properly for more than two months. I bought it on July 4, 2017. The first repair was on 10/30/17, the second on 03/23/18, and the third on 05/15/18. Now I dont have working refrigerator again. I need someone to take action or I am going to take legal measures. This seems like an issue not just I but many other customers have had and the issue is still not being resolved. Not only is this a time consuming process but also a financial loss. Since not having a fridge for over a month, we havent been able to buy store food and only take out. This not only takes even more money out of my pocket but requires me to take time off work because of all the appointments. Not only is the fridge not working but the last time a technician came on January 25, 2019 he scratched the fridge and left a black burn mark. I am so frustrated and disappointed with not only a product but the services. I would really just like my money back so that I can buy a new, scratch free, and working fridge. Lack of an agitator may or may not be the cause, but this device twists items deposited into a ball and finishes with a big question as to what, if any, items were thoroughly cleaned. The initial jiggling of items in such small water appears to be a designers mental excursion with little reality involved. The standard setting muddles items in a VERY LOW LEVEL of highly-concentrated dirty water due to the water-saver nature of the device. Whatever happened to good cleaning? OR is water so expensive that we should settle for less-clean clothing. Weve owned washers and dryers for 54 years and have never experienced any worth these words. Enough said?

We had a terrible experience with LG Refrigerators. A couple of years ago, we bought an LG fridge. At the time, we liked the style. Then it went out when it was only two years old and wouldnt cool the food. The issue was the compressor, which had a 10-year warranty on it. They put a new one in, but the new one wouldnt work. It took a long time for them to get back in touch with me. They told us that they would send someone over to the property and they would try and fix the fridge, three different times. After the third time, they said they wanted the tech to try some other things and made the tech come back at least two more times. All of it was dragged out. Each time, it took a whole week before they even got over to the property. We had tenants in the property and it took LG a month and a half to finally tell us they couldnt fix it. They gave us a new fridge but by that time, the renters had moved out because they had no fridge. It was a disaster. Plus, they wouldnt give us money for the tenants food loss. They said I either get a fridge or get the loss of food. They wont do both.

We purchased our $3,000 fridge at Sears in 2016 before they went out of business. While it is a Kenmore sold by Sears, it is actually a fridge built by LG for Sears. So the fridge is basically 4 years old and the freezer has stopped working. With Sears bankruptcy, I have no warranty. I understand that, but LG is unable to provide a qualified service agent that is still in business. All service agents I have called have indicated that LG is proprietary and I need a LG technician. Totally unacceptable. Besides the service issue, breakdown so quickly is a problem. If you are buying new, I would recommend sticking with manufacturers that specialize in kitchen appliances, not TVs and computers. I wont make that mistake again.

Bought an LG refrigerator for 4 years ago. 2 months ago our refrigerator and freezer stopped working. We lost everything in the fridge and freezer. As we no longer had a warranty on it we used our American Home Shield warranty. They sent a technician out to diagnose that it was the compressor. The repairman stated there was 10 year warranty on the compressors because of problems that LG has had. Because of that he couldnt fix our refrigerator LG did not contract with them for warranty work after waiting a week for him to get there. American Home Shield then sent out Sears not to fix the problem but to diagnose it again. That was the end of week two. We then had to wait another week for the compressor to come in and for Sears to come and fix it.3 weeks without a refrigerator or freezer. Living out of A cooler. The 1st technician told us, Dont be surprised if something else goes out because your compressor has made your refrigerator work too hard as it was dying. Sears tech however denied this statement and said no. Once we fix the compressor no problem. Well its now 2 months later my fridge and freezer do not work again. Lost everything again. Took a week for American Home Shield to have Sears come out again for a recall on their original work and he is determined it is the motherboard that is bad and he cant tell if the compressor is bad because the motherboard is not working so well have to wait until the motherboard comes and he fixes it and then we might have to wait again for a new compressor. Once we fix it no problem. BS.Not happy with this LG product. I got it because of all the problems I had with my Frigidaire. Is there not a refrigerator company out there that is selling quality products. So now that Ive lost two freezer full of food two refrigerators fulls of food and living out of a ice chest for now for weeks and more to go Im not a happy camper with LG. Not to mention we go thru bags of ice at $4 a bag and have to put new bag in every other day. So at 4 weeks so far with both repairs LG has cost me $56.00 in ice and we dont even have it fixed yet.

LFX25991ST/05 LG French door counter depth refrigerator - I actually love/hate this refrigerator. It has worked well. I love the ice and water dispenser, however, it appears to be caving in. There is a long crack at the top running into the inside of the dispenser. When the water dispenser is pressed it moves the entire wall inside the dispenser. The frame of the entire dispenser is actually crumbling piece by piece. We have no recollection of ever dropping anything or anything falling on the door dispenser. We have no warranty left on it as it is now almost 3 years old. So we are faced with the repair. Frankly neither of would have the strength to push so hard the plastic would crack. I own an LG stove, microwave, washer and dryer. I am not unhappy with any of these - performance wise.

We own an LG refrigerator and have been pretty satisfied with it until the last couple of months. The ice maker will no longer function on this model number LRFD122850ST, and after viewing the comments on LG i think maybe it will remain so until the appliance is replaced. There seems to be a problem with getting this repaired.

I bought an LG Refrigerator #LFC25770 in November 2008. I paid over $1,500.00 for the French door style with bottom drawer freezer. The compressor keeps coming on and then clicks right off. The freezer thawed and the refrigerator no longer cooled. After doing research online, find that the cause might be the starter relay. I tried to order the part and it is no longer available. You now have to replace the relay, thermostat and compressor; should have been a warning that LG has had this issue before. I called LG customer service since the sealed system was still under warranty for parts. They gave me several contacts that did the warranty service for them. However, no one comes out to my location. I called LG back and they gave me several more names. I called all and once again either they dont service LG or they dont come to my area. Again, I called LG who gave me more names and numbers. Did I mention the time I was wasting and the cost of long distance calls? I was told it was my problem since nobody would come out. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was hung up on. I called back and asked for a supervisor and was transferred and explained the issues with LG and he said he would make the calls and try to find someone. To say I am not happy with LG would be putting it mildly. The products and the service suck.

We had an LG refrigerator installed in our home in late 2018. It quit working this past Sunday. I have spent at least 5 hours on the phone so far with no help at all. At the time of this writing I am on the phone for an hour and still on hold. I have called all of the companies on the LG service and they refuse to handle any calls with LG-Lousy Garbage, as LG has not been paying them. LG told me to call any appliance service and see if they would come and fix it???? I am ready to eat the $2300.00 and get this garbage out of my house. If I could give a minus in their rating, it would be negative 100. Whatever you do, read all of the bad reviews and buy a dependable appliance. I know I will get an automated response from Lousy Garbage. Lowes is trying to get me a return from LG. I am not holding my breath. I would be dead before this attempt to resolve this issue is dealt with. BUYERS BEWARE- Joe **

We purchased the front load washer and dryer in December 2010. The pretty red ones! What a mistake! Actually, no problems with the dryer, except it doesnt seem to dry as well as it did in the beginning. I always have to add a click or two to the automatic dry time. The washer broke this June 2011. We had Geek Squad come out, it took four weeks for them to get back to replace the drum and three other pieces that attach to the drum. Four weeks! Then it broke again six weeks later. Same thing, we tried to get Geek Squad out again and they are so hard to work with to schedule a time. They should realize people have jobs! I called Best Buy to get help and they gave me LGs direct line. She was very helpful and friendly. But then the service tech called and his first words were, Do you agree to pay for this service call? and told us it was not the drum, it was a shock absorber. He hadnt even been to the house! He just told us this by the description. He wasnt coming out until we agreed on the phone to pay for the service call. Forget it. We are going to buy a new washer tonight. It will not be an LG. Such a hassle and disappointment, $1000.00 wasted. Pretty red machine...too bad it is a piece of crap!

Lg is a big brand that they have quality products. I love LG appliances better than I like the phones. I have the lg stainless steel fridge that has double doors. I feel as though the company gave us a great item! The item was thought out and delivered in the best condition available. We love the fridge, it holds so much stuff and blows pretty cold! We have plenty of storage for produce and frozen. If I would update anything it would be the size of the fridge. We love big spacious fridges. Again, you get what you pay for.
