This is the first dishwasher I have ever had with stainless steel inside. Is this the reason Im having problem with mold growing on my dishes? All other dishwashers I have had, left dishes in longer not rinsed that good. Never had mold grow on them. It made me so sick to see this the first time, every dish had mold growing. Good thing there wasnt that many in there. Took them out soaked in bleach. I read my book it said run it once a week, I have been. Run the dishwasher with bleach, then run it again with dishwasher detergent, without dishes. I thought it wouldnt happen again but it did. So disappointed in this dishwasher. Has anyone else had this problem? After the first time I told my husband to be sure to rinse them good. Well it did happen. Bought this dishwasher Jan. 2016, only 8 months old.

I purchased a Samsung ceramic top range and cannot say enough great things about it. It works as advertised and has loads of fantastic features. The oven is by far the best convection oven out there. I have bought many Samsung products and have always been happy with the function and quality of them. I truly cant say anything bad about Samsung.

I have purchased a refrigerator of Samsung because that time I think its good but I am wrong that time. There is no any product reliability and worst customer service in every parameter. Very bad experience. They didnt help for their customers. I already sent a mail to CEOs, technical dept. But there is no solution about my concern. Only 1 month ago warranty expired & they are not doing any kind of goodwill. Actually I learnt from this concern they dont want that customer again purchase their product in future.

I purchased a Samsung dishwasher in 2013 from Lowes. Initially it worked fairly well, however, just like everyone else that has purchased this model, error codes such as E9 started in less than 6 months of use. I watched the videos online and can now take it apart like a professional. Now it is broken again, in a new and inventive way. The rubber parts inside have become soft and need to be replaced. I hope that is the only problem, but doubt it. I purchased this model because it was highly rated as quiet. Yes, it is quiet, especially when it doesnt work.

I bought the Samsung 32 Cubic French Door 2 years ago and I have to tell you it is without a doubt the worst decision I have ever made in my life! Less than 1 year, all the plastic pieces starts falling off. Samsung said its cosmetic and warranty does not cover. The electric panel broke apart. They replace 1 time. 2 days later the same happen. They said that is also cosmetic! Now 2 years later the fan is making a noise like a boat engine and they said it is not covered - I have to pay for it. I have everthing in the house Samsung, even the names are falling apart! NEVER BUY A SAMSUNG PRODUCT EVER. THEY ARE WORTHLESS!!! DO NOT EVEN TAKE FOR FREE!!! Go Kenmore, or any other brand!! Did I tell you their customer service is in the Dominican Republic and is also worthless!!!

Samsung refrigerator model RB217ACRS/XAA is simply a terrible appliance. Firstly, it is so loud! Every time the ice maker comes on, it sounds like an earthquake (I live in California). On several occasions, my guests have actually gasped. If its ice time, you have to turn up the TV. Its so loud, its ridiculous! Secondly, the handle on the freezer routinely snaps off.And then, at 16 months post purchase, the ice maker, the freezer and the control pad on the front of the door stopped working. The repairman told me, with a straight face, that I wasnt closing the door properly. Im 54, I have a masters degree and I raised two children; I know how to close the door. Thankfully I had an extended warranty. It’s the only one I have ever purchased. I should have known when the salesperson was so adamant that I really needed one for this refrigerator. I just thought they were being pushy, now I know. The repair was made, and I was reimbursed for lost food. But now, well, this 18 month old Samsung continues to frost-over on the top shelf (of the freezer) and not be cold enough on the bottom shelf. Yes, I have tried changing the settings; Ive tried everything. I can only use the very bottom shelf of the freezer, because the top shelf is frozen over. However, on the bottom shelf where the cardboard boxes (like the one where frozen entrées are in) are wet and disgusting. As for the ridiculously loud ice maker, I have to dump the ice every other day or it turns into one big rock. I thought I was being so smart and cool when I bought this Samsung refrigerator - it was rated so highly! Well, learn from me; dont do it. It’s the worst appliance I have ever encountered. They make good TVs, but leave it at that!

This has to be one of the worst refrigerators (Samsung 28.5 capacity, French door with freezer below) ever made. The ice maker would make ice sporadically. Sometimes there was enough ice to get through a day. Most of the time we had to rely on trays of ice that we purchased separately out of frustration. The shelves that hung on the doors were so poorly designed that they often broke off which caused many disasters with broken condiments and such. I know the shelving problem is not isolated to our refrigerator. A friend had the same model and every one of his shelves were also broken. Currently my shelving is patched together with tons of duct tape. Now to make things worse only 7 years old and the compressors has stopped working. I would caution anyone who is considering a Samsung refrigerator to reconsider.

I had a new Samsung refrigerator RF220NCTASR delivered July 2, 2014 and it hasnt worked properly from day one. I contacted Home Depot, where I bought it and they advised me I had to deal with Samsung directly. Despite two of Samsungs technician calls and numerous discussions with their Executive Customer Relations (ECR), there is still no resolution today! The refrigerator portion will not get any colder than about 45 deg. F despite the refrigerator being set as cold as it can be (seven blue lights). I have gone as high in their ECR as I can (according to them), with only apologies and broken promises to show. I faxed a letter to Samsung Canadas President on December 1, 2014 but have had no response. Samsung certainly doesnt appear to be capable or willing to resolve this basic warranty issue in a timely fashion.

Microwave model ME18H704SFS and Samsung Dishwasher purchased Dec 2015 and installed March 2016. Began use then. Dishwasher was a lemon immediately with an electronic board error E11. Samsung warranty sucks! Getting thru for help and not will to replace unit just to fix which wasnt possible. Terrible customer service. Dishwasher never worked from day 1. Microwave also lasted less than a year after installed. Feb 2016 went to use popcorn sensor feature and lo and behold received that E11 error! Not sure if we had ever used that feature before since it was at a cabin. That is used mostly in summer. However, tried all other sensor features and they all give same error now! Microwave still runs on regular time but I purchased this model specifically because I like the sensor feature. Called the number and was told they would fix same as the dishwasher thing. The repair company called and was scheduling to come fix as this is also a built-in unit and the charge was going to be 200 to come plus additional beyond that. I learned to ask because of dishwasher incident. They said no warranty coverage after Samsung told me yes. I decided to not waste any more time on this because I could buy a different microwave cheaper than wasting my time and energy trying to get it covered which is what Samsung hopes you do! Dont BUY Samsung appliance! I am waiting for my oven and fridge to have problems since I bought a suite of them for a new kitchen. I had originally liked a range and that is why I went with Samsung. Never had problems with that so when we remodeled a cabin I went with a Samsung suite of products purchased at Lowe’s. Got a great buy! I did not purchase the Lowes warranty. Next time I did because of all the issues with these appliances! Samsung warranty forget it!! Buy the store warranty. 1/2 of my Samsung appliances are garbage that I replaced with American made Maytag Dishwasher and Whirlpool microwave. Lowe’s made the dishwasher purchase right and took it back even though I did not buy their warranty - they were awesome! Thank you Lowe’s. I purchased a new suite of appliance this year Feb 2016 for my remodel of townhouse and will see if those appliances last longer than a week or year. Learned my lesson, I took back another Samsung microwave same model that had been purchased because the first one is crap and traded it also for Whirlpool. So now I have Whirlpool appliances from Lowe’s and I will report if I have any issues on them! I spent the extra for the warranty 3-year but I think it will be well worth it. I have little faith that appliances are made to last anymore! Good luck if you purchase Samsung! I will never buy Samsung again - not anything with that brand name on it.

I bought this Samsung RS277ACPN side by side fridge in 2009 at Lowes. A year after the purchase (just couple of months after the warranty expired), the ice maker didnt work, it cost me around $250 to fix the problem. Lately, 30 months after the purchase, the fridge fan motor does not work. The Carter service couldnt repair it due to the evap fan motor part Samsung listed for this model does not fit my fridge when the part arrives. The service man had dealt with Samsung two times for the reorder of the part, and the part still does not fit. So, evap fan motor part no. DA31-00146E is supposed to be the right part, but the actual thing does not match the original motor fan in my fridge. A month went by and my fridge is making a lawn mower noise off and on. The ice is piled up at the bottom of the vegetable drawer. My fridge is not repairable because Samsung does not have the correct part and no one bothers to correct it. No more Samsung appliance next time.

The Samsung French door refrigerator is about five years old. After about three years of service, the light in the freezer stopped working. The repair was postponed until now and after two visits, the service provider identified a broken wire in the center drawer that supplies power to the LED light for the freezer. To replace the wire, and entire drawer slide assembly had to be ordered and installed to correct an obvious design deficiency of a broken wire that is obviously not designed to survive the repetitive motion of the drawer being opened under normal usage. $339 for a non-warranty repair.

I purchased 3 appliances on February 6, 2015. They totaled over $5000. Today, 6 days out of warranty, the water dispenser stopped working on the refrigerator. We have done everything that needs to be done - according to the manual - and it still is not working. I called customer support and 3 times was disconnected. I finally reached someone and felt I had to speak fast or there would be another disconnect. Each person had my phone number and no one called me back. I went through all of the same things I had done before the phone call. When they realized I was 6 days out of warranty, they tried to sell me an extended warranty for $400 +. I said that was absurd so they said since I was a good long term customer, they would send me to their executive support department (or some similar name). I am now sitting with a very expensive refrigerator that does NOT dispense water. I have spent the last 2 hours trying to fix this and am very fed up with Samsung. I will NEVER purchase another product from this company again and I have been a long term customer. Another thing, it is very difficult to understand most of your customer service people. There is a disconnect for sure. I was NEVER given a confirmation number, NOTHING.

The customer service is horrific. The people are rude and do not honor the warranty. The temperature numbers on our stove started disappearing within the first year of owning the stove. They said it was cosmetic and not covered under the warranty but how could that be since you need the numbers to know what temperature to cook at. I purchased a microwave last year and all of a sudden it started turning on by itself. I located on Samsung website was a sensor seems straightforward and obvious, same exact issues happening. They send a tech out who looked and bent my hinges as an attempt to “fix” a brand new microwave. As soon as tech leaves I open the microwave and close it, it turns back on so it wasn’t fixed within 5 minutes of tech leavening. I call Samsung. They schedule me again for another tech. I took off work again now 2 days. They never show up. I call Samsung and they told me they never came because the first tech said there wasn’t an issue with the microwave. Which is mind blowing considering he bent my microwave and damaged it to fix a problem that didn’t exist? And they couldn’t of told me that before I took off another day of work. So end result was hours wasted 2 days off work. No fix and they proceeded to tell me the customer that my microwave functions properly even tho it turns on by itself and turns off without any input. I have never dealt with such a terrible company who said they can’t do anything for me because at this point it’s their tech company and Samsung isn’t responsible so I’m out 2 days a work and a over the range brand new microwave now needing to be replaced. Never buy Samsung. Total scam company. I will never purchase a single thing from them ever again. They couldn’t even accept that it’s their microwave. They blamed the fact the tech company lied and said they fixed or never had to fix my microwave and said, We’ll sorry. Can’t help you. Complete disgrace.

I have the same problems with the others. Right now I water in both my veggies/fruits bins and underneath the bins are water and frozen ice. Also, the ice maker keeps making ice even though it is full; therefore, all the overflow ice fell down under the freezer drawer. Every time I open the freezer drawer, ices will fall out onto my kitchen floor and I can also see there are a lot of ice stuck all the way in the back of the freezer. I either have to use a long stick to brush them out. It is a major headache with Samsung as they are the worst company I have to deal with. Samsung is very unreliable and irresponsible for their products, keep saying they wont fix my refrigerator because 1 year warranty is over. In order for them to fix, they will charge me a fee to come by to take a look at it and any repairs they will do. I see other Samsung models have the similar problems as mine but how come this model of mine isnt on the Class Action Suit Settlement. Please let me know if it is on the settlement as I want Samsung to pay for their bad products.

My Samsung 24-inch dishwasher model DMT300RFS is less than three years old.
My Samsung 24-inch dishwasher model DMT300RFS is less than three years old. We have had problems with the dishes coming out of the dishwasher with ground-up food on them since day one. Recently we have been getting an error code for clogged drain also. I pulled the dishwasher into the middle of the kitchen floor, checked all plumbing and drain hose and found them clear. I ran the machine and found it was only discharging a small amount of water during the drain cycle. I removed the filter in the tub - clear. I removed the drain pump - clear. I checked the rubber check-valve upstream of the pump and found it cocked and stuck sideways. I freed it with my finger (it is in the molded plastic comprising the bottom of the tub). I reassembled the unit and operated it and it pumped like a banshee during the drain cycle. After running the machine a couple of times it started pumping only a trickle again. The check valve had become cocked and stuck again. What is happening is the check valve sticks open and when it hits the drain cycle, the drain pump pumps dirty water back into the dishwasher and only a trickle gets pumped to the sink drain. Dirty water stays in the tub and debris gets deposited back on the dishes during the rinse cycle. Because it takes so long to drain the tub, the machine thinks the drain is plugged and shuts down with a clogged drain issue. The part with the check valve in it is very expensive and (for me) would require a service technician to replace it, adding to the cost. To me, I will be better off replacing the unit. There are review after review on the internet complaining of these same problems (dirty dishes and error codes). It is my opinion that this problem is a design error as it is not possible to provide maintenance to the check valve. It is deep in the large plastic piece comprising the bottom of the tub.I hope this post helps others understand what is wrong with their machine.

October 2016 I bought a 4 door Samsung stainless steel refrigerator (model #RF22K9381SR/AA) from Lowe’s. The panel on the door below the icemaker/water dispenser has terrible water stains that will not come off with any recommended product by Samsung. When I complained to Samsung they sent out a technician to see it. The technician said there was a possibility that it developed a leak behind the door panel and he took a picture and said Samsung will be reviewing it.I then got a call from Samsung saying its not their problem because they are not responsible for cosmetic damage. Stainless is not suppose to stain with obvious water marks. I believe there is some defect with the refrigerator ice maker/water dispenser and/or that the stainless steel product they used is of inferior quality. I am very dissatisfied with my $3,0000 purchase of this refrigerator and am wondering if I can take Samsung to small claims court. I do not recommend purchasing Samsung refrigerators.

I bought a Samsung Refrigerator about less than a year ago from HHGREGG. About a month ago, the refrigerator became faulty. There was no cooling in the fridge, however the freezer was working fine. The milk and other perishable items were getting spoiled in the fridge. Immediately I contacted Samsung technical support, they made me reduce the fridge temperature, but that did not help in any way. Finally a ticket was generated and it was given to Dependable Services (Samsung contracts with third party to provide repair and maintenance service) to fix the issue. This is where my nightmare started. After great difficulty I was able to get hold of some customer service person in Dependable Service. Finally they gave me a service technician visit date that was about a week away. On the said date, they called me and said the spare parts did not arrive, so the visit was pushed to next week. After a week of finally waiting, again I got a call from the customer service team saying one of the spare parts was there and other was in someone elses truck. Then they postponed the visit for another week. Now again they called me and left a voice mail (I was not reachable). Immediately I called back when I saw the voice mail in the evening. I was told the ticket was cancelled due to no response (they call a single call no reply from customer is a no response for them). I had to call Samsung and had to get another ticket. After all this hassle, finally the technician arrived at home after more than 3 weeks of complaints, back and forth calling. The technician comes home and says he did not have spare parts (the cooling fan had to be replaced) to fix the fridge. I was shocked. They had postponed the repair for more than 3 weeks giving one reason or another saying they were getting parts from Samsung to repair, and here comes the technician without the parts. The whole thing has been a nightmare. I had to call Samsung customer service many times, and they ask me to talk to dependable service. They are giving me a run around. I regret buying a refrigerator from SAMSUNG, THEY HAVE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I am without refrigerator for more than a month now... I would never ever buy any Samsung product ever in my life. I learnt my lesson, will stay away from the name SAMSUNG.

These refrigerator/appliances were advertised as black stainless steel and they are simply Black Shrink Wrapped. Have had my fridge for 3 years and am embarrassed when company comes over. Recently purchased a high end dishwasher and had to chose a different brand. I do love the black, but unless Samsung chooses to find a paint, replace the door or find another way to make this fridge look as advertised, I can no longer recommend Samsung black stainless products. Samsung has made no attempt at a resolve. Why advertise black stainless when it is a film that is applied and peels off in creases, near handles, folds and edges. I have several areas of peeling that began a year after purchase. Requested a paint from the company and was told there was none available nor would a paint be available. Probably because shrink wrap is not paint.

The hot water supply line requires a 90 degree fitting (which is NOT supplied). The water supply connection is 3 above the floor & 4 from the left side. The water connection fitting on the D/W is PLASTIC. You have to buy a 90 degree fitting (brass), then remove the BRASS connector nut & replace it with the PLASTIC nut provided with D/W. When you connect the water supply line to the 90 degree fitting, it has to bend at a 90 degree angle to fit in the cabinet opening. The Drain hose is also connected at the rear left hand corner. You are warned to not overtighten the 90 degree fitting (PLASTIC) or it can cause a leak. THEN, it tells you to slide the D/W into the cabinet opening & be careful not to kink the water & drain hoses. It is such an idiotic design that the instructions actually say, Get a SECOND or THIRD person to help you if this is necessary. Once installed you have no way of seeing if the water or drain hoses are leaking, until it is too late. Three days later water was dripping from my basement ceiling, due to water connection leaking and ruining my bamboo kitchen floor. For 46 years I have installed D/Ws with the connections right in front behind the base panel. An easy connection for one man/woman and you can readily observe if you have any leaks. Samsung should stick to TVs.

Its very suspicious that even the Samsung repairman didnt even want to try to repair it. Samsung should give up making appliances. Im VERY DISSATISFIED WITH THIS PRODUCT!

January 3, 2015 I purchased a scratch and dent Samsung french door refrigerator with ice maker in the freezer unit. It came with a 1yr. warranty from Samsung and I purchased a 5yr. warranty from Lowes. It was delivered and installed by Lowes on January 6, 2015. It started to produce ice and it produced half a gallon bag of ice and then quit. We went through the manual which gave us no direction. I turned off the ice maker so that it would not burn up. I called Samsung January 9, 2015. They walked me through the troubleshooting and told me that because the ice maker was turned off, I had to wait 48 hrs. for service. They called me back on January 12, 2015 and again a different associate walked me through the same trouble shooting process but added a twist, which was the rollers where touching the floor and therefore Lowes had to come back out and give the refrigerator a 2 inch tilt. That seems ridiculous however we jumped through the hoops. I went on live chat with Samsung January 15,2015 and again that associate was going through the same trouble shooting process. Really, does anyone do service anymore? I let him know that it is unacceptable to have a refrigerator only one week old. With full warranty and not be able to get it serviced. Very unhappy with Samsung and will never buy another appliance from them.

I bought a Samsung SMH9187 microwave in November 2010 and on 9/2/12, it spontaneously beeped and showed the dreaded SE code that so many have written about. I tried to cycle it per the instructions by unplugging the unit with no result. The keypad was dead. I called Samsung service who were less than helpful. They could not find an authorized repairman anywhere nearby and I live in a major metropolitan area. After spending about 4 hours trying to find a local repair person who works on Samsung with no luck, I called Samsung again and pressed very hard for a repairmans name in my area. They finally found only one. He, fortunately, was quite helpful over the phone, but so far away that he would not do the repair. He told me that the part number is DE94-02001C and is available for about $52 at Sears Parts Direct and mentioned that anyone handy with computers could make the repair. I was about to go that route when I found these posts and tried the quick fix of holding the Stop/Clear and Start buttons together - and so far, so good. Meanwhile, I would advise anyone considering a purchase of this unit to be sure there is a Samsung repairman nearby before purchasing. The microwave is clearly not reliable based on the number of keypad failures mentioned here within the first 15-36 months. Planned obsolescence and poor service to boot.

Samsung DMT300RFW/XAA Dishwasher - A little over two years old and I am getting ready to cart this piece of junk out to the street for the trash collector! The unit never performed at the levels promised. Dishes were left dirty and spotted if used in the normal mode. Per Samsung techs, we were told to use the high energy sanitize mode (so much for the low energy use sales pitch)! Last night, the dishwasher started making electrical sparking noises and producing an electrical smell. We contacted a half dozen reputable local repair companies and nobody is authorized to work on Samsung. The closest authorized place is a TV repair company 30 miles away! We have a million people in South Orange County and not one authorized repair company? Were never going to buy another Samsung product!

My Samsung 28 cu. ft. 4-Door French Door Refrigerator, MODEL NUMBER: RF28HM
My Samsung 28 cu. ft. 4-Door French Door Refrigerator, MODEL NUMBER: RF28HMEDBSR/AA, is used on a daily basis by my family of 5. I purchased this refrigerator in July of 2017 for roughly $3,000 from Home Depot. After 4 months of use the Ice Maker began to fail to produce ice. Failures consisted of total freeze up of system ice dispensing unit, water leaks out of ice holding tray down front of refrigerator. After making numerous calls and chats to Samsung and multiple defrost actions, Samsung sent out a repair person to replace ice maker. Today I contacted Samsung and communicated that service repair didnt resolve the issues of total freeze up and water leaks from ice machine. The Samsung Tech was helpful, but communicated that repair would be at my cost since warranty had just expired. Not cool since service didnt resolve the issue.

So start by saying Im huge Samsung person, TVs, note Phones, Sound bar, Etc.. So figure why not try appliance even though they are new to it. I got Appliance package and Ice machine gets stuck about once week on refrigerator which is annoying but works good otherwise. But stove after about year/year and Half started glitching out on display, which go online and see this is common problem other experience due to Poor motherboard/Motherboard issue.Which after never having issue thought it was huge telling factor that when I finally have issue Samsung says, We can connect you with service company. They will charge you $200 just to come out diagnose the issue, when I could by a new range for twice that, as that did not include parts depending on what is needed or labor. Not a FAN, would say Stay away from Their Appliances altogether. They are still figuring it out and not very helpful. Also from customer support over feeling taken care of or anything Useful was done would rate it 0. as I could have figured out same thing.

RF25HM FREEZER DOES NOT FREEZE! We purchased a Samsung in July 2015. In March of this year the drawer freezer stopped working, as did the ice maker. Set up an appointment for them to come out to diagnose the problem. The service tech was here yesterday and did an excellent job of troubleshooting the problem. He thought it would be a simple part replacement (circuit board). As it turned out, it was a sealed unit problem and it would be very expensive. The refrigerator still cools, just not the freezer. He explained that the freezer and refer share the same compressor, the part that operates the freezer was clogged or not functioning properly. I assume there is a valve of sorts that changes from refer to freezer when necessary. In essence, I am saying that Samsung is junk. DO NOT BUY! They should stick to cell phones and tablets. We have a Samsung Smart TV that we wish we hadnt purchased too! The frustrating part is that it was just over the warranty period. I am certain that I am not alone in this, when you pay over $2000 for a refrigerator it should last longer than just under 4 years!

I purchased two Samsung appliances (refrigerator and dishwasher) in Novembe
I purchased two Samsung appliances (refrigerator and dishwasher) in November of 2015 from Home Depot. I spent almost $5000 on appliances (fridge, dish washer and stove). Small rust spots started to appear several months after I bought the appliances in February (on the dishwasher and in March on the refrigerator). The rust spots kept growing and getting worse. I only used stainless steel cleaner on them. I spent 4 weeks trying to resolve this issue with Home Depot in March and then with Samsung warranty department in April with no luck. I am told that this is a cosmetic issue and is not covered under warranty. This rusting appears that at some point in the near future, it will rust entirely through the front panel. This is an issue with the materials used to produce this product. My two main concerns with their warranty clause regarding the rust issue are as follows:1- Stainless steel should not rust to this extent where the surface has actually become pitted and especially within 5 months of coming from the factory warehouse. This amount of rusting and pitting should never happen to a stainless steel item. I was asked does the appliance still work? Yes? Then it is cosmetic. 2- Stainless steel should not be magnetic. The steel used on these appliances are most likely a ferritic steel that has a high concentration of IRON which would also explain the RUST issue. A magnet can actually stick to the front of these appliances. They are a cheap grade steel. They do not disclose the type of steel used on their products nor do they disclose that the appliance could start rusting the day after you purchase it and it is not covered under warranty. Samsung should disclose this to their customers. If you are going to build appliances with ferritic steel then you need to call them stainless ferritic steel. At least tell your customers who are spending their hard earned money what they are actually buying. That would be the least that you could do. It is deceiving, and dishonest, and defrauding to the customers.I received no help whatsoever from Samsung after calling and trying to get help on the issue for almost 4 weeks. I was simply told that they do not warranty cosmetic issues. I am extremely disappointed with this product, with samsung as a company, with their response to my issues. I have spent hours to try to resolve the issues with little response other than rust is cosmetic and not covered under warranty. They take no responsibility for selling you a cheap rusty piece of junk.

We purchased this range NX58J770SS/AS on the first week of November 2018. That week I worked late all week and didnt use the oven. The next week went on vacation. So back Thanksgiving week, cooked the Turkey and after that may have used the oven 3 or 4 times. So on Dec 18 I decided to bake croutons, top part of oven 400 degree, with about 3 tablespoon of oil on a baking sheet. After 10 min. thought they were done, shut the oven off. Then decided to put them in again for more crunch, turned the oven on. Turned around and in seconds the smoke alarms go off, and look in the oven and blazing flames coming from oven. Turned oven off and thank God my husband had a fire extinguisher out in the garage! Smoke was bad and now white stuff everywhere. Of course called service in the morning, and told them the same story. They sent a repairman Dec 24, took pictures and video for the technician people. I didnt get an answer from them by the end of that week, so I called them to see what their answer was. Their answer was is cosmetically injured. Ask them what that meant, there was oil on the back part of the oven. I said first it was cooked off. And 3 tablespoon of oil would of not caused a blazing flames. So now I have an oven that was told not to use by the repairman, and the people we purchased the oven from. The person I talked to said that was their decision, and end of that story. First I cook for a living and never saw a brand new oven cause that type of flame!

I put rags around the bottom of the fridge so my family does not slip and fall as I have slipped already walking to the kitchen in the middle of the night. The water is coming out more and more, have to replace the rags every few hours to prevent accidents. I called Samsung for help and they emailed me a pdf file instructing me how to make sure the fridge is level. There was nothing wrong with it being level and its still leaking worse than ever. Called Samsung back and they said they can refer me to a company that can repair my fridge. Samsung only warranties the fridge for one year, after that I have to pay for labor and parts to repair this issue. I researched online and found that this is a common issue with other Samsung Refrigerators. Here is the link for the class action lawsuit filed against Samsung for selling their defective product. **. Repair company charges $100 for diagnostic. Then we wait for them to order the parts (Temp sensor, Assembly Cover Evap and Leakage Kit) which costs over $125 plus more labor charges for them to install it. And we are not sure this will even resolve the problem. Stay away from Samsung appliances. I also have a Samsung stove that all the knobs have broken off. Samsung will charge you over $50 per knob to replace them. Pieces of junk, faulty appliances, Samsung should not sell their defective products to consumers.

I bought a Samsung French door refrigerator in August 2011. Had them come out 3 times (April-May 2012) as it was frosting in the freezer. On third technician visit, the tech recommended (in writing) that the refrigerator be replaced. Samsung would not do it on the grounds that the retailer does not participate in our exchange program. Okay, but thats not my issue. They asked that I give them my cc number, cut the cord, send the cord and the serial number label to them, then I might get a check in 2-4 weeks. Samsungs internal refund policy states you must do the above to get a refund, but the warranty just says repair or replace at our option. Samsung would do neither. I took them to small claims court and just won a judgement for over the value of the fridge for removal, etc. Dont let them push you around. Take them to court! Their internal policy has nothing to do with the warranty agreement/contract between you and Samsung. I believe there is grounds for a class action lawsuit here.

Called Samsung every 7-10 days for over 2 months because they never called me back like they promised. As I waited the ice maker quit, then the refrigerator. I kept getting the runaround. I was so disappointed and one day when I called I cried, was told to email the office of the President at Samsung. I did - nothing - finally a representative from the office of the President named Linda called me back, gave me her personal phone extension #. Told me my order was approved & I had to wait another 10 days for a moving company to call me. When I checked my caller ID I realized she was calling from the same call center I had called from every week. They lie to their customers. 2 weeks later I finally got the call. On October 16th I received replacement. My first call was beginning of August! I will never ever buy another Samsung appliance. I hope this one holds up. Ive noticed other reviews explaining the same problem. We brought this fridge less than 2 years ago brand new. We did not expect any problems this early on as we have always purchased a french door fridge because of its large capacity. We have a large family and would have to frequent the grocery store all the time if we bought anything smaller. I am sorry I bought this brand and will not buy it again. We noticed pooling of water just outside the freezer and have been mopping it up every morning. We did not know what is causing this problem-where the water inside freezer is coming from and have defrosted the fridge twice now. -which is extremely inconvenient as we cannot use our fridge during that time. We have turned off the ice maker to see if this was the problem but it is not. This fridge is a lemon. Do not buy. So far it does not seem that anyone who has tried to solve this problem has been successful. I am really tired of cleaning up water everyday and will need to save for a new fridge. It appears that ice is forming on the freezer bottom and then melting and spilling out of the freezer overnight and during the day. We recently removed the bottom drawer which over time turned into a bucket of ice. We defrosted the fridge and cleaned it and are now trying to locate what is causing the ice to form on the freezer bottom (which then melts over time and forms water at the bottom of the fridge).

We bought a package deal at Best Buy in December 2016 - a Samsung dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave and slide in double oven. In one years time, 3 of the 4 appliances have broken and need expensive parts. However, the gas slide in range is by far the worst product (NX58K9850). After using the self cleaning feature for the first time, the oven over-heated and door locked. We have to pay $400 to replace the control board to get it to work again. Refrigerator is three year old and cost about $2000. Last week the evaporator fan (inside of the refrigerator) started getting noisy. After looking online and discovering that this is a common issue I contacted the support people at Samsung. I received a canned response that said it could be caused by lots of things. They recommended that I unplug the refrigerator for 24 hours to let the evaporator thaw and for the ice to melt. If it happens again Im supposed to call for a repair appointment. We had to move all of our contents out of the refrigerator to let the evaporator thaw before we could get the cover off to clean out the drain. I have a french door refrigerator, model RF197ACWP, that was purchased 6 years ago. In the past 2 years we have had it worked on for collecting water in the crisper drawers and water and ice on the bottom shelf. We have spent over $600 on repairs and the problem continues. I have read many reviews now with the same issue. Over the past 2 months, through numerous phone calls, I have spent around 4 hours on the phone with Samsung, trying to get some compensation. I have been giving inaccurate information, transferred to the wrong department, hung up on, put on hold and never returned to, been spoken to in a rude way and many other discouraging encounters. It felt as though they were purposefully trying to shake me from pursuing this issue! I have never felt so disrespected by a company. The last thing they told me is that I will be reimbursed part of the cost of the refrigerator, but they have not followed through on any of the steps yet, which they told me would be weeks ago! Our Samsung DMR77LHW model that we purchased as part of a kitchen renovation some 5 years ago has been a source of frustration for the last 4 years. We had it repaired twice under an extended warranty (thank God!!); the first time just a year after purchase (replaced circuit board) and then again this past winter (entire top rack, door gasket, top rotary washing arm). Between those 2 service calls (and continuing to this day), nothing but poor performance and failing parts: Brittle and broken rack clips, recurring SE error (and now a PE code yesterday!) during normal cycle, cleaned dishes and glasses with odd food particles caked on, very wet items after the drying cycle, etc. We will be replacing this piece of cr*p in the next month because we have endured it long enough. Shame on Samsung for STILL producing such low quality products 5 years after we bought our own. I thought that this manufacturer would improve its appliances based on all this consumer feedback, but apparently Samsung doesnt care about that. So, junk products + poor customer service experience = a company to boycott. Bye bye Samsung. You have lost another client. Not just for dishwashers, but your ENTIRE line of products, I.e., Mobile Devices, TV & Audio, Cameras & Camcorders, PC monitors & Printers, Home Appliances, and Memory/Storage (as per your products list at Samsung.com). Here is our experience: 2 days before X-Mas 2014 our 3 month old fridge model RS22HDHPNSR stopped cooling properly 2 days later it stopped all together but the temperature readout did not indicate a problem and remained at the normal settings. 12-24-14 called Samsung customer service gave all of our info: Name address, phone #, e-mail address. Was instructed to reset thermostat, called back after a few hours to inform Samsung that unit was still not cooling. Advised that a repair service would come in 1 to 2 days to take care of problem. 12-27-14 After several hours working on our fridge repairman told us that the unit suffered a major failure and parts would need to be ordered. We contacted Samsung same day again had to repeat all of our personal info and we now requested a replacement for our 3 month old unit. Thats when the nightmare really began. We did not hear from Samsung and had to call daily for updates. Each time we received a new ticket # and were told our request was in review. On 1-2-2015 we were informed that our request for replacement was denied because replacement parts were in. On 1-7-2015 After 2 repairmen hammered and soldered for 3 hours on our fridge in the kitchen they could not fix it needed more parts. Again we called Samsung requesting a replacement and again never received any updates. On 1-9-2015 finally got through to a supervisor who than told us after speaking with another supervisor that our request for replacement had been denied a second time, because the additional parts are in. On 1-13-2015 after 3 more hours working and banging our fridge it was working. After a 3 week long ordeal of no refrigerator/freezer, uncounted hours spent on use less phone calls speaking to a total of 36 Samsung employees we have a rebuilt Samsung refrigerator. Samsung Excellence Customer Service??? You decide.

I am so upset with SAMSUNG appliances. We purchased a refrigerator Model #RF28HFEDBSR from them in 2014. It worked fine until months ago when we had Samsungs provider One Stop Appliance come and fix it. $330 and a 90 day warranty. At 120 days the same problem occurred so we called the Geek Squad because we purchased it at Best Buy. They came and fixed the exact same problem for another $330. Now we are again about 20 days out of the 90 day warranty and Samsung WONT DO ANYTHING!!Its ridiculous that we have to pay for the same issue to be fixed over and over again. They are supposed to have such good customer service but we are certainly not feeling it. They told me twice they would help but they would charge us AGAIN to fix the same problem for a THIRD time!! Why do they get high ratings??? I dont understand it. STAY AWAY FROM SAMSUNG APPLIANCES!! BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. Please share! Thanks.

We bought our Samsung Refrigerator less than 2 years ago and we have had problem with the refrigerator since. Constantly having to defrost the unit manually because it freezes up and finally, 3 weeks ago we starting having a noxious burning smell come from fridge. Although Samsung did extend our warranty past the 12 months, since we have had multiple issues, they could not find the root of the smell after 2 service calls. The last service rep called Samsung and they said that their refrigerators do not emit smells. Well according to both of the service reps, it certainly did. The last one said it even left a bad taste in his mouth after working in the fridge for a little while. A $2000+ refrigerator that didnt even last 2 years. Trust me, dont risk your money on a Samsung.

My French door refrigerator started forming ice about 18 months after purchase. Warranty is only a year, which is ridiculous when you pay that much for a appliance. I checked online for anyone else experiencing the problem. Most problems were with water under the crisper drawers which I hadnt experienced. I called Samsung and the first words the service desk said were, We havent experienced that problem before, which I knew was bogus because every person that called them said they said the same thing. Anyway after over 2 years of emptying my freezer and getting the ice out, I finally bit the bullet and called a repairman. I wish Id done it right away.He took the bottom panel off the back, took out the two drain pipes for the automatic defrost, about 7each with a rubber, flat nipple on each one. He shows me the small slit across the end of the nipple that the water drains thru and explains that if that slit gets clogged the water backs up and freezes in the bottom. It also could cause water to be leaked under the drawers in the cooling part of fridge. All he did was cut about -1/8 off of the flat ends and put them back on the pipes and reinstall them. They must just slide on because he didnt have any tools but the screwdriver to remove the panel and a snipper to cut the rubber nipple. You can use scissors for that. I could have done this myself had I known what to do. Thats why Im writing this. Also he said to be sure to turn fridge off for 48 hours to make sure all the ice has defrosted. Thats a pain, but weve been removing the ice for 2 years every 3-4 weeks. If this works, its worth the 48 hours without a fridge. If this works, you wont hear from me, if not, Ill let you know. It was a $79 service call. Its a bad design and hopefully Samsung has changed it. My fridge is almost 4 years old. I love everything else about it.

I purchased 3 #Samsung appliances from a BIG Box Store #LOWES. DO NOT DO THAT, they do NOT service their appliances. ALL 3 pieces (which one has been in use LESS than 8 weeks) have a malfunction, from NOT working AT all, to the electronics board on the stove/oven working on & off. The manufacturer expects me to wait up to 2 weeks for repair service. OR I can PAY for the repair myself they said. These appliances have not been in use for 4 months yet & they do NOT WORK properly. LOWES only honors returns for 90 days, I am 20 some days too late, & #LOWES will not service them either, BUT I STILL HAVE to PAY LOWES for broken appliances. Their CS sucks! They could care less they sold me some lemons. The appliance repair company 15 minutes from me, will NOT service the appliances because they said #Samsung will NOT PAY THEM enough to cover their costs, UNACCEPTABLE! DO NOT BUY #Samsung appliances.

I purchased the Samsung dishwasher model DMR78AHS at Lowes in May 2010. Also, I reluctantly bought the extended warranty program, but in hindsight, Im glad I did. After about a year, we started hearing a slight grinding noise. I called service and they determined that all (12) of the plastic basket clips had broken off and lodged in the motor (impeller). The service tech had to disconnect the unit, pull it out, and turn it over to remove all of the plastic tabs. Luckily, the impeller was not damaged. The tech said that this is a very common problem with Samsung dishwashers. He installed new basket clips, supposedly made out of stronger plastic, but I seriously doubt it. I am very disappointed in Samsung kitchen appliances and will not purchase from them again.

I bought a 22.5 cu ft French door counter-depth (RF23HCEDBSR) in 2015 from Sears. It was first used in November 2015. $3,200 on sale for $2,778. After a little more than a year, the ice maker began freezing (an oxymoron?), requiring that I remove the ice bucket for a few to several days at a time to let the inner works thaw out. This began happening with increasing frequency. Eventually, after 2.4 years I was without ice more often than I was with ice. The Sears repair tech said that the ice maker has a number of design flaws and that Samsung requires that the ice maker be replaced. Replacement cost is $780. This is not a case of a mechanical part wearing out or going bad. This was Samsungs design flaw. A responsible company would take responsibility for the flawed product and replace it without charge. It was poor company decision making when the ice maker was designed and installed, and it is now equally poor company decision for not taking responsibility and replacing the defective product now that the defect has been discovered. Ill report the defect and Samsungs response to my State Attorney Generals consumer protection division since Samsung doesnt seem to respond to individual consumers.

My refrigerator is only 2 years old. Last December, a repair was done, but it was never finished because they never came back. So now the same repair people can now finish it because I had the same problem: ice forming in the freezer, but also the icemaker broke. The first repair was for a defective defrost part. So now I had to pay for an icemaker as the first time the guy broke the insulation. So now when they come back, I have to pay for a part he broke! That’s a good one! But never again will I buy any Samsung brand. I learned my lesson. This product was only one-year-old when I had problems with it. What junk!

While baking at 375 degrees and standing in front of the oven I heard a loud pop, and then seen a lot of smoke coming out of the top rear behind the clock and program panel. From the smell, it was obviously an electrical fire. The circuit board and connectors burned up. Luckily I was close by and able to unplug the stove. Stove is completely inoperative and is only 6 1/2 years old. I never had any problems until now. I was able to unplug the stove so I do not know if the fire would have continued. Dangerous fire hazard. I wonder what would have happened if I was not home and my granddaughter decided to cook a pizza. The refrigerator is a French door model sold for over 2000.00 dollars purchased at Lowes. Started out Lowes delivered the wrong model, no ice or water in door. They then told me the one I ordered was no longer available so I would have to pay 300.00 more as this one was not on sale. I paid it, was delivered and the doors were put on wrong. Parts were missing. They did send missing parts. Put them in myself. The refrigerator is noisy, there is no fix. Thats The Way They Are. The worst problem is that the tube in the back, behind the back cover, freezes solid, so the water from defrost cannot drain down. So the water fills up the bottom of the fridge and runs on the floor. If you have wood floors make sure you have a pan under it. Samsung has no service in Milwaukee area or nearby cities, then after 2 years offered to cover replacement parts. Problem is I cannot find an authorized service within 50 miles and to come out it would cost 200 plus dollars. Plus they will not tell me what the fix is even though they have this problem with all their refrigerators. Samsung is the worst product I have purchased. And Lowes should not sell appliances. They are no help.

Just reached the 6th year of owning our Samsung Side by Side Refrigerator RM257ABSH which we paid nearly $3000. A&E (Sears) is the only repair option... I called every repair place and also asked for referrals to repair people they knew. The A&E repairman that found the leak in our coil was very knowledgeable, but the coil I paid for never came in. The appointment date came and went with no phone call. I called A&E, three or four times before I found out that their parts source no longer carries the coil and they had move my appoint from the 6th to the 20th of February. I called Samsung, since my fridge at this point has been down for 4 weeks and was given Customer Relations... after four business days of going back and forth between A&E and Samsung, I was told that the coil is no longer available and they would have to buy back my fridge. The A&E repairman during the service call told me coils are the most common problem with refrigerators... which means that when you buy an expensive refrigerator from Samsung, you cant count on them keeping parts past the 5 year warranty. The Customer Relations person told me it was past its 5 year warranty point that they carry parts. They offered me a buy back that is reduced by 10% per year. I could have fixed the fridge for $495, instead I trash a $3000 unit for a few hundred dollars... What a deal!!!!!The total repair cost by A&E was $495.00. I paid $185.00 down for parts and the service call. Now I am out of $1500-2500 for a new fridge and Samsung may give me a small buy back amount! My advice... Never, Never, Never buy a Samsung refrigerator because they may not carry your parts after the warranty. Their fix is to give you a few hundred bucks and send you on your way to your next purchase... which in my case will never be a Samsung!!!

My 92 year old mother replaced her subzero refrigerator after 33 years with a Samsung French door counter depth on 12/26/17. On 4/1/18 the refrigerator totally quit cooling. I contact Samsung warranty 4/2 and went through all the motions to reset factory settings and was told they would contact me the next day to be sure that it was operating correctly. It was at 77 degrees. I was then told that a service tech would contact us within 24-48 hours. According to the first tech that arrived on 4/4 the compressor was locked down and that he did not have the parts to repair and they would need to be ordered. I was told someone would be back in touch in 24-48 hours. The 2nd service tech that was sent 4/9 stated that it should be replaced or refunded and gave me a new ticket # and copy of the recommendation that he sent to Samsung. I began calling Samsung on 4/10 and was told they had the information and that it would be 3-5 days before a resolution was determined. I have been calling Samsung every other business day and each time was told they had to follow POLICY and PROCEDURES!!! I continuously reminded them that my mother was 92 and living out of an ice chest. They would apologize and I would say dont apologize if you are not doing anything to correct the problem. It then went to a different department to be approved and it became 5-7 days. It continued to go to different departments and the days would increase with each change. It became 7-11 days then 11-14 days. On Friday MAY 4, 2018 I sent pictures of the refrigerator with the power cord cut and the serial sticker removed along with banking information for a refund. The e-mail I received back was that we should receive funds in 7-14 days. I will not purchase anything else from Samsung. They are not customer friendly, the refrigerator was a piece of junk and their policy and procedures are totally ridiculous!! NO COMPASSION for anyone not even a 92 year old woman.

Bought unit (Samsung over the range microwave model SMH1622B) in Dec. 2014. Lately when I put something into it, as soon as I close the door, the light inside it comes on and the turntable starts spinning. It does not stop if I press the stop/clear button. The only way to stop it is to open the door. If I press the stop/clear button while the door is open it does nothing, as the unit starts up again as soon as I close the door. The ONLY thing that stops this is if I open the door, press the 1 {1 second} button, close the door, and then press start. The unit then cooks for 1 second, and finally shuts off.

The story begins less than four years ago. We purchased an entire suite of Samsung kitchen appliances – range, refrigerator, dishwasher and over the range microwave. Since installation (less than 4 years ago) the range began turning on (by itself), a clearly dangerous situation. We found online that this has happened before with terrible consequences. We replaced this range with a Frigidaire range. So far, no issues. Now the dishwasher is not drying. I went through the manual and completed all recommended options to resolve this issue. I am now shopping for a new dishwasher, as nothing I have done seems to make the dishes dry. The refrigerators ice maker has always been an issue in that it does make ice but very inconsistently. The cubes are malformed and at times, it simply stops only to start again whenever it feels like it. I can say that the microwave has, so far, not given us any issues. I would like to warn anyone considering the purchase of any Samsung kitchen appliances to do your online research. I believe that if I had done so prior to investing thousands of dollars with Samsung appliance, I would have thought better.

I remodeled my kitchen and bought all new appliances for continuity. Samsung had a special going on with interest free purchase so bought their refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave. I am having difficulties with their dishwasher and refrigerator. Lets talk about the dishwasher first (model number DW80J3020US). This dishwasher does not work well at all. I pre-rinse before I load and yet it does not wash dishes clean unless on heavy wash with sanitize option. Even then, sometimes the dishes are not clean. I called Samsung customer service and we did some troubleshooting over the phone. That did not work, so she sent someone to look at the dishwasher. The repair man came. He was super rude and short, he turned it on then turned it off and said nothing is wrong with the dishwasher. I need to buy a different dish washing soap. I told him that the soap would not cause the dishes to have black particles on the dishes also that I pre-rinse. He stated that Samsung only recommends the use of one type of soap. Then he told me that if I call to waste his time again then there would be a charge. My refrigerator (model number RF23HCEDBSR/AA) is only one year old and the ice maker is not working. I called Samsung and the customer service rep. stated that I need adjust the leveling of the fridge and check that my water supply is enough to the fridge. She claimed that the front of the fridge must be higher than the back. I did as she told me yet. NO ICE and the water trickles out. I told her this and she insisted that it is my fault. I asked her to send someone out and she said I would be charged. I WOULD NEVER recommend any of Samsungs products to anyone.

I have a Samsung Model RFG297HDPN French door refrigerator. Six weeks ago the ice maker stopped working. I removed the ice maker and brought it to a repair shop. They checked the ice maker and it was working properly. I contacted Samsung and they gave me the name of an authorized Samsung repair center. The service man came out, checked the ice maker and said it was fine. He then checked the water valve going to the ice maker and said it was bad. He tried ordering just the valve, but Samsung stopped selling just the valve due to water leaking problems occurring by just changing the valve. He had to order an entire valve assembly. The service man stated Samsung had upgraded the valve assembly four times in the past 3 to 4 years, due to problems. The new valve assembly arrived yesterday after being delayed for over 4 weeks. Eighteen hours after the new valve assembly was installed the ice maker has not produced one cube of ice. Contacted the service man again this morning and he is coming out on Monday and will try installing a new ice maker. Like so many other articles I read, Samsung does not stand by their products. There are page, after page, after page of complaints regarding Samsung refrigerators. A $3,000.00 refrigerator and the company has the worse service in the industry. Im now contacting my State government consumer affairs agency, and filing a complaint. Im also contacting law firms and hopefully will find one that will file a class action suit against Samsung.
