Our ice machine tries to make ice, but then it drips into large icebergs and clogs everything up or does not work at all even after re-setting it. The company evidently does not back up their products because we can find no help from this company. So disappointed. Our oven is now causing problems, it is gas and it goes out and keeps lighting back up. These appliances are high end and not that old.

Called customer service and reported what I felt would be a manufacturing defect. When I went to steam clean the oven this week I noticed on the floor, of the oven, fan-like cracks in the enamel. The enamel was cracked and the metal below was showing in 3 areas. I asked if anyone else had reported this. After the CS rep investigated she returned and said no other complaints and it would not be anything they would address as the stove was 2 yrs old. That was all. I really feel it is a manufacture defect and should be replaced. Hopefully not a ongoing problem. I did see this issue on another review so why was the answer no, it has never happened before.

Bought a Samsung stove from Home Depot. Had it for a couple of weeks. Used the oven, and drips of liquid was rolling down the glass door. Called Home Depot, told me to call Samsung. I called Samsung and they told me I had to pay to get it fixed, because it was cosmetic. Also, I had scratches on the flat top just from moving a pan. I had a GE flat top for over thirteen years - never had problem, no scratches, no problems. Why is this company getting away with this. Samsung doesnt stand by their product.

Purchased a new Samsung dishwasher. After a short time, I noticed a horrible odor and our dishes never seem to be clean. We always rinse our dishes well and use a rinse aid. Called Sears for service, which I had to pay for. The technician cleaned between the door and said I need to keep it clean. No matter what I do, I cannot get the smell out of the dishwasher. I agree with the others who have posted--there needs to be a class action lawsuit against Samsung. How do we go about doing this?

I purchased 3 appliances on February 6, 2015. They totaled over $5000. Today, 6 days out of warranty, the water dispenser stopped working on the refrigerator. We have done everything that needs to be done - according to the manual - and it still is not working. I called customer support and 3 times was disconnected. I finally reached someone and felt I had to speak fast or there would be another disconnect. Each person had my phone number and no one called me back. I went through all of the same things I had done before the phone call. When they realized I was 6 days out of warranty, they tried to sell me an extended warranty for $400 +. I said that was absurd so they said since I was a good long term customer, they would send me to their executive support department (or some similar name). I am now sitting with a very expensive refrigerator that does NOT dispense water. I have spent the last 2 hours trying to fix this and am very fed up with Samsung. I will NEVER purchase another product from this company again and I have been a long term customer. Another thing, it is very difficult to understand most of your customer service people. There is a disconnect for sure. I was NEVER given a confirmation number, NOTHING.

Bought a top of the line Samsung french door refrigerator. It kept telling me it needed a new water filter, which I bought and replaced. (It cost forty three dollars at Lowes.) Samsung Refrigerator RF28HFEDBBC/AA- This refrigerator has problems with the ice maker. Ice builds up on the interior of the ice maker and has to be cleared at least once a month. The ice comes out wet and the dispenser in the door leaks water continuously. There is also a problem with water leaking into the bottom of the refrigerator and then freezing so you cannot easily pull out your meat drawer. Samsung claims no issues with the unit but from what I see on the internet that is not accurate.Attached is their response: Thank you for contacting Samsung. I see that the ice maker is not freezing, and ice builds up at the top of the unit and cubes come out wet. Also, the water is leaking and filling the reservoir in the door. I know how bothering this issue could be. Samsung does strive to produce quality products and provide best service. However, your experience doesnt reflect this. Samsung products are designed by dedicated and skilled engineers after extensive technical research. We dont have any reported issues with this refrigerator model. Its disheartening to know that you are experiencing these issues. We dont like to see our customers unhappy or inconvenienced; however, Samsung provides 12 months of warranty from the date of purchase. If your refrigerator is out of warranty, you have to pay for the service.A service request was filed for this issue and it was cancelled, as there was no service center available in your area. Since your refrigerator is out of warranty, you may get it repaired locally at your discretion. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. This is what I received from them. Interesting fact I already had the ice maker looked at during warranty and there is a service center in my area. So they dont support the product and dont know who they have in the area to repair the product. Do not buy Samsung refrigerators. No support.

Problems since first day... We purchased all our new appliances for our new
Problems since first day... We purchased all our new appliances for our new home to be delivered Feb. 28, 2014. We are very happy with the fridge, washer, dryer. Not so happy with the over the stove microwave as it does not seem to pull in the steam at all and it goes all over the front of the cupboards and underneath as well. And steam drips down the tiled backsplash. The dishwasher is a whole other story. The young fellow brings it in and installs it. While testing it water flooded out the bottom of it. He tried several things but could not figure it out. He called his office and told them the problem and they said they would send out another dishwasher the next day. He then leaves. I go downstairs to get something from the freezer and there is water all over the floor at the bottom of the stairs. I call the store and he comes back. I asked him why he would leave when he knew there was a problem. He had forgot to connect something so he fixed it and returned the next day with another dishwasher. This is number 2... So he does all the connections and lo and behold, water comes spewing out the bottom again! He did try to conquer the problem but to no avail. He called and told the girl at the office about it and they said they would send out another one. This is all in the first week of us supposedly trying to enjoy moving into our new home. So a few days go by and along comes dishwasher number three with two fellows to install it. One does all the work while the other one just lolls around on my new engineered hardwood floor. I wanted to scream!! I was afraid by the time this was figured out I would have a whole lot of marks on the floor. They were here for over two hours and yet again it leaked. Really?? I called the appliance store and complained non-stop like a lunatic because of frustration and to get right down to it, anger. They suggested that I try to pick out a different line of dishwasher. I said I wanted the one that matched all the other appliances. Would they be willing to trade them all out? Well, of course not. So yet again along comes dishwasher number 4 with yet another installer. He installed it and did a quick test and yay! It didnt leak. The next day, water on the floor. In the meantime, I am back at work and have to arrange these visits with repairmen for before I start work at 4 in the afternoon. So, I call the appliance store and rant again. They make an appointment for me with one of the salespeople at a different location. We purchased from a large retailer on 149 Street, Edmonton. They sent us to the 47 Avenue one which is a fair distance from where we live. We went in and it seemed like the salesperson felt we were being unreasonable. I asked him if this kind of product and service would make him happy and would he like it if his time was taken up with this. Long and short, he tried to get us to change to another line and we said no. So he said he would give us $200 off. Big deal. But it was better than nothing. They said they had never had this kind of problem before, so we said lucky us, being the one off. So again back to a number of visits from a serviceman. We were told that maybe our water temperature was too high and this was causing a problem. The temperature of our water was lower than what it gets to on the sanitize cycle by 35 degrees so that seems to be a load of you know what. Then he said it was this part at the front of the dishwasher so he replaced that. Still leaking. I give up and just keep putting a dishtowel under it to catch the leaks and save the hardwood floor. Three years go by (not quite) and now besides the leak it stops draining on occasion and the OE light comes on. I call another repair place that services Samsung products. The guy comes out and says that he needs to replace a part so we do that. He sets up a test and promptly leaves. It hits the rinse cycle and water comes spewing out the bottom again but it did drain. Call them back and have to wait a couple of weeks and he comes out and did something to it and said if there were any problems to call them after Christmas because they would now be closed until after the New Year. Yay!! The third visit he comes out to repair it and now the stupid thing will not do anything. It will not fill even at the beginning to start the leaking process or the OE light to come on, just sits there. I do feel for him as he seems to be a very nice man but now he is waiting to hear back from the Samsung technical help desk to get back to him with some things to try. He tried to replace the circuit panel, but the new one did the same thing as the old. He got out some manual and tried to do some troubleshooting and nothing happened. He checked the pump but that was ok. He checked the overflow sensors and they were fine. Before he came out for the third time I ran it through five cycles. On the normal cycle it did what it was supposed to do and no leaking. Same with the Heavy cycle and Delicate. Did the Quick cycle and it leaked but it did empty. On the Pots and Pans the OE light came on and it did not drain and it leaked. After he tried all he could think to try on the last (third) visit it wont do anything but the lights do come on, just no action. I thought I could just go back to putting the towel on the floor and maybe have to try draining it manually or with some luck maybe it would work when I held down the drain button (sometimes it did and sometimes, no). So here we are with the mother of all dishwashers that looks nice but is totally useless. And I get the distinct pleasure of washing dishes. I dont mind doing that when I feel like it but not all the time because I have to. We will wait now to see if Samsung tech came up with anything for our poor repairman. If not we will ask for our money back on the repair that was useless and go buy a dishwasher from a reputable appliance store from reputable salesperson after doing a lot of research to find out what one would be the most... reputable and reliable. Because we know now for sure that it is not Samsung and we did not care for the service from the place we purchased from originally.

This Samsung fridge has a SERIOUS design flaw and Samsung has been aware of
This Samsung fridge has a SERIOUS design flaw and Samsung has been aware of it for a long time, per all the blogs, articles and YouTube videos about this problem! Our fridge is 3 mos old and already its doing the symptoms (loud popping/cracking/gurgling noises and water dripping within sealed walls) that our fridge will have this serious problem one day. We do not have a door water/ice dispenser and dont have the bottom ice maker activated. On many Samsung refrigerators, ice builds up on the coils (in sealed section) with the dripping making the buildup a solid, large chunk of ice that eventually BLOCKS the cold air into the fridge and also stops the fan. Samsung tells us the noises are normal but they can send a technician - since this is a design flaw and we dont want the fridge taken apart only to be told to use a hair dryer to defrost that area... We declined the service call. The seller (Lowes) refuses to take the fridge back and substitute a comparable one (cu ft etc) no-cost. The fridge looks nice, has good room and cools (for now) but I dread the day when the fan stops and hope it does not cause a FIRE as a result of the fan blades stopped but the fan motor continuing! If there is a recall or class action measure taken, my email is: **.

Compressor is under warranty for 5 years, but after 15 days, Samsung has still not replaced the compressor or the fridge. Every time I call (and spend 1-2 hours waiting for case management), they pretend theyve never spoken to me - even though they ordered the dispatcher that diagnosed the issue! This is so fraudulent and unacceptable. I bought the fridge at Lowes and they should be ashamed to allow this type of dishonest activity to happen. I purchased a Samsung RF323TEDBSA three door refrigerator February 2013 and have had terrible issues with both ice makers and front door water dispenser and overall think the stainless finish is impossible to clean. The front door water dispenser always drips down the front of the refrigerator requiring constant cleaning and absolutely nothing cleans this poor quality of stainless. I have tried everything! The bottom freezer is not working at all and will not reset. The top freezer has to be defrosted monthly with a hairdryer and reset, to get any ice. Even after those bizarre behaviors, the ice is always wet, very slow to make and drop and always mixes at least 5 or so tablespoons of water in with the ice (and again drips down the front of the refrigerator). I actually bought two of the same refrigerators for two different homes and absolutely think both are just junk. What a joke... As I thought I was buying a higher end appliance! Just another comment, on the Samsung microwave I bought at the same time... Junk. I had to fixed the cracked plastic on the door hinge myself with a You Tube video and rubber band, just so the door would close so the appliance would work... After two years of use (mostly reheating food). I caution all appliance buyers to stay away from Samsung appliances, regardless of the model. Also, getting service without paying an arm and a leg is impossible.

We have a Samsung refrigerator Model# RF266AERS/xaa that stopped cooling at 3 1/2 years. A certified Samsung tech (only one in SE Wisconsin) was unable to repair. The problem was in the sealed system which has a five year warranty. He contacted Samsung and took all the necessary documentation as he was directed and sent it to Samsung. That was 4 weeks ago during which time I have called and been connected to executive customer service seven times, each phone call a minimum of 40 minutes on hold. I have sent my sales receipt twice. They always have problems locating some piece of information but always give a new transaction number and a very polite vague excuse. I have called the certified dealer twice. They resubmitted info and the second time even had the regional manager for Samsung send it in. That was one week ago. At my last call on Oct 2, 2014... This is ongoing and I am now waiting again for 2-3 days. Mind you these calls are all 40-60 minutes long and it has been 6 1/2 weeks without a working refrigerator! It also appears from other submissions, this is a big problem with Samsung and others.

Originally posted earlier this month. Followed Samsungs advice and defrosted refrigerator for 36 hours, with fan blowing on it. Checked to make sure all ice buildup had cleared. Turned on, ran fine, icemaker even working again. Now several days later, ice maker is stopping and probably means another complete defrost. Do not buy Samsung Refrigerators, ITS ALL OVER THE INTERNET ABOUT HOW PEOPLE ARE HAVING SAME PROBLEM WITH ICING UP AND NOISE. They dont seem to have a fix. Terrible, 5 years old $2000+ refrigerator and nothing but problems.Updated on 06/16/2018: I have contacted Samsung and searched the web. My 5 yr old refrigerator keeps freezing up and the fan starts making a loud noise. Only resolution Samsung has offered is to defrost the refrigerator. Really, its a self defrosting, yet now we have to unload and let it thaw out 2-3 times a year. This problem with their refrigerators is noted by numerous people on the internet, yet Samsung offers no remedy and it appears this problem occurs with many of their refrigerators going back several years. This company is selling numerous refrigerators and should fix the problem or offer real solution.

I, like everyone else, got the Samsung SE error out of nowhere, at around 18 months after purchase. I read all these reviews today and was about to go shopping to replace my SMH9187ST microwave. After power cycling it, the SE error would come back between two minutes and immediately. So far, after I did what I did, it hasnt happened in 8 hours. So here is what I did. Hopefully this will work for someone else. All you need is a Philips-head screwdriver and I didnt even have to remove the microwave from where it was mounted.Take out the top two screws. They fasten the top front vent grill to the microwave. To remove the vent grill, simply slide it to the left and pull out. Now when that is removed, you now have access to the one Phillips-head screw that holds on the dreaded keypad on the right of the microwave. Remove that screw. Then, slide the keypad assembly up and wiggle left and right to slide the fingers that hold it on to the microwave free from the slots they are in. Now once that is free, you can pull it out and see the few connectors that connect the keypad to the rest of the microwave. There is a white connector and a blue connector towards the bottom of the back of the keypad assembly. I simply reseated those connectors. Meaning, I unplugged them then plugged them back in making sure they were snug. The blue connector seemed to be a little loose when I went to reseat it. Im thinking maybe it had backed its way out somehow and was causing a bad connection, therefore giving me the SE error. But thats it. Line up the keypad assembly fingers back up with their proper slots and slide it down, therefore lining up the screw hole on the keypad assembly with the screw hole on the microwave and put that screw back in. Then slide the top front vent grill back on from left to right after lining up the little fingers with the slots they fit in. Then screw back in those two screws that hold the grill on. My beeping that was happening has now stopped and Ive microwaved a few things since. It took me no more than five minutes to figure out how to open it up, reseat the connectors, and put it back together. So far, problem seems solved!

My Samsung French door with bottom freezer is 2-1/2 years old and the ice maker stopped working. Water leaks inside the fridge under the vegetable drawer and freezes up. Cannot open the drawer because it freezes in ice from leaking water. Had the repair man out (&432.00) and problem still exists. Will not buy another Samsung item.

The ice dispenser has stopped working on my 2 and 1/2 year old refrigerator
The ice dispenser has stopped working on my 2 and 1/2 year old refrigerator model # RF4287HA. The ice maker is making ice but the dispenser switch will ONLY dispense water. We contacted Samsung several times (both technical and customer support) by phone and in writing to no avail. Upon reading various reviews by other Samsung refrigerator owners, I have found that many of us are experiencing problems with these appliances. It appears that the product is defective but Samsung is not responding to our requests for assistance. I sincerely request that Consumer Affairs help us get some satisfaction from Samsung.

Unit is a slide in model. Stove top heats quickly and two of the large burners have multi size heat areas. Oven temperature is accurate, easily holds two large dutch ovens simultaneously, has a large viewing window and a bread proofing function. I would prefer that the oven racks move more freely with heavy items. Glass top covers that edges and prevents food particles from dropping between. I would purchase again.

It seems that we are not the only ones to experience water/ice machine problems. Our fridge is under two years old. It has always leaked out of the water dispenser and down the side door after dispensing ice. The water coming out is never cold. Last night I used the water dispenser and it got stuck on dispense. I tried to stop it by pulling/pushing the lever, but it continued to spill all over the floor. We had to quickly shut off the water behind it. It continues to leak and Samsung says this is not covered. Ridiculous. $2600 fridge breaks in less than two years and it is not under warranty??? Worst fridge ever! I hope that there is a recall on these components. They should not be doing this within the 5 years.

I bought Samsung model RF30HBEDBSR 2 years ago. The French door, fridge on top, and freezer double drawer on the bottom with a bonus drawer between that can vary the temp/use. On the one yr anniversary the ice maker made mushy, crushed-only ice. Samsung customer service sent me the door part free and scheduled a repair guy of their choosing. NOOO. Over twice the going rate. I hired someone else. Six months later the ice maker itself (cleverly placed IN THE REFRIGERATOR) froze over. I defrosted it with my blow dryer occasionally for the next 6 months. I tried to hire someone to evaluate/fix it and was told by the first 6 that they either dont fix Samsung fridges or never the ice maker. Huh? Finally someone let me in on a poorly kept secret (except by Samsung who believe they walk on water), their ice makers are overly complicated pieces of junk, frequently unfixable. We replaced the entire ice maker body (part ordered through Sears) and after spending almost 2 hours melting enough ice to be able to remove the original part, put the new one in in 15 minutes. I was told that this is almost always a failure in the computer chip in this part, resulting in water continuing to flow after the tray is full... Ice build-up-hell. Cost me $154 plus the part Id bought and weeks of 7/11 ice. Supposedly these fail between 2 months and 2 years. And all the replacement parts are just the same as the original! Rinse, repeat. OMG! I spent $1,500 at Best Buy plus over $400 in the 1st 2 years already. I have never had to have any prior fridge need repair in 30 years! I replaced them every 10 or so years for newer better models. Until now... I will never ever buy a product from Samsung as long as I live. I even hated the one phone of theirs. I didnt mention the HOURS I spent trying to deal with customer service.

We have had our new Samsung microwave (Model ME21H706MQS) for less than 1 month. The turn table has stopped spinning because the glass plate no longer engages with the spinning wheel which appears to have dropped down. The motor still rotates but it no longer catches the plate. When I called Samsung customer support I got a guy that spoke with such poor diction that I had to have him repeat everything 3 times. Waiting now for a service appointment. Keep you posted.

I bought the RF263beasr/aa. Junk, junk and junk. Problem is plain and simple and should never occurred on a new Fridge. Icing problem on the back at the point that you can hear the fans hitting and scraping the ice. And the Ice maker also develops ICE. Read instructions and forums and I leveled the fridge. I made sure that the gaskets of the doors are fully closed and the gasket of the ice maker fully closes and seals the ice maker when door is closed. Fridge is 3 years old and it still has the same problems. I have to get the ice maker every month and use my hair dryer to deice the ice maker. I also once a week I force a defrost cycle plus turn the fridge off for 4 hours to let the coils defrost. My old previous fridge was a GE 15 years old. Nothing wrong with my old fridge (NOTHING, no ice maker problems nor icing problems). I made the big mistake of remodeled the kitchen and bought new appliances. I bought Frigidaire stove, Microwave and dishwasher. My wife insisted on the SAMSUNG Fridge because of the looks and I pampered her... BIG MISTAKE!!!!! NEVER AGAIN WILL BUY A SAMSUNG PRODUCT AGAIN!!!! SUPPORT SUCKS. Customer service SUCKS!!! One thing I love though: I am an IT Manager and I get to say and approve what Technology to buy in my office with 800 users and guess what!!!! I turn down everything Samsung!!! From printers, PCs, laptops, faxes, TVs, monitors, etc, etc ,etc!!! Nothing Samsung ever again... And any other agency that I do business with I spread the word!!!

I bought a brand new Samsung refrigerator from Sears. We noticed these loud clanking, whirring and groaning noises from the first day it was delivered. At first we thought maybe it was just making these terrible noises due to cooling down and it would stop eventually. It never did. I called Sears a couple days past the 30 days since we received it and they told me that I had to call Samsung and that it would be covered under my warranty. So, I called Samsung, who scheduled a service appointment with me. These two guys who barely spoke English advised me that the noise was caused by my ice maker, so they turned the ice maker off and left, saying the noise should be resolved now. Well...I SHOULD be able to use my ice maker....right??? Brand new fridge and the SOLUTION is not to USE my ice maker??? HUH???So, fast forward to the next scheduled visit by the Samsung repair guys. Same guys. They tell me that the ice maker is BACK ON. I advised that I didnt even know where it was to turn it on. They said they turned it off, and left. Assuring me that the noises are perfectly normal. Just dont use my Ice maker. WHATEVER. Brand new Fridge! I cant use my ice maker? Thats the solution?!Next Samsung visit. I asked for a different technician. They send out a new guy, who tells me that the issue is a bar like thing from the freezer. He says he will schedule the repair and parts. Admits that the noises are NOT normal. Next scheduled visit, the same two original guys show up again and they have a fan, and some other parts THAT are OBVIOUSLY NOT what was shown to me and needed replacement. So, I ask them to CALL the last technician and find out what they were to replace. SOOOO... they leave and say that a different technician needs to replace the part.Next scheduled visit, the manager shows up and says that he hears the sounds and its the MOTOR and the COMPRESSOR. The MAIN working operational parts for a fridge!!! So, they schedule another visit with THOSE parts. Next visit, they replace the motor and the compressor in my now 2 month old refrigerator. AND ITS STILL MAKING THE NOISES!I asked for a replacement, since now I have essentially a REFURBISHED BRAND NEW REFRIGERATOR... and SAMSUNG customer service tells me... get this...The sounds coming from my refrigerator are NORMAL! I can hear the thing making groaning noises like its dying from the opposite end of the house, at approximately 1,000 ft away! SAMSUNG and their outsourced technicians are a racket/scam and they are making a fortune by ignoring their responsibilities to honor the warranty. They wont fix the issue, and they also wont replace. Now, I will be faced with hiring an attorney... simply because of the principle of the matter. Im tired of consumers being taken advantage of. I have a shiny refurbished piece of crap in my kitchen. Likewise, I have a 20 year old perfectly running, quiet refrigerator in my garage that I paid a fraction for and have NEVER had a single issue with it. Lesson learned here folks, is NEVER, EVER, EVER buy a Samsung refrigerator. EVER.

I really do not need to write a review. Just look all the other reviews about the Samsung refrigerator because that is exactly what I am experiencing. Bought the fridge in 2012. Have had it repaired 3 times for the same problem (icing over of the compressor unit in the back of the refrigerator portion). The product is inferior and their customer service does not care. They serve up platitudes and fake sympathy for your problem and then tell you you will pay, again and again and again, for the same repair over and over. I am stuck with this fridge because I do not have the money for a new one. Recently saw a young couple purchasing a Samsung refrigerator and stopped them before they could get ripped off too. If this review keeps one person from buying the piece of junk I am now stuck with, then it has been successful.

I purchased this horrible Samsung refrigerator Model RF263BEABC from a local appliance company on 9/12/16. The sales person was really pushing the Samsung as being the greatest of all brands made. LOL. Then it started making a horrible loud gun-like popping/cracking noises at different times of the day. The popping is so loud it would wake me up at night and my sister said it sounded scary. I called the place I purchased and was told to call Samsung and it was not their problem. So I called and was told it was a normal sound from the temperature in the house adjusting with the refrigerator? It still has not gotten any better so called them back and was told it would get better after the unit gets older? Today I called back to Samsung and informed the of a so called recall notice was sent out secretly in 9/16 to appliance techs about the popping noises and that they need to call for the parts to repair it. Well the man told me that was not true and no such recall was issued. This POS refrigerator was made in MEXICO. Beware of Samsung products. They are of poor quality and they are bunch of LIARS.

I purchased a Samsung Dishwasher DW7933LRABB and have nothing but horrible experiences with its poor cleaning results. I have had no less than 8 service calls for this machine. Each time a service repair agent replaced a part or parts saying it will resolve the poor results. It is nothing but a piece of junk, and I am being nice as this review would be flagged. I might as well eat off the dirty dishes as they are cleaner than after running them through this dishwasher. Samsung has done nothing for me as they say it is a extended service contract issue, not theirs. The issue is they make horrible products. If you are thinking of buying any Samsung product DONT DO IT as you will be writing a review like mine. We have owned our $2000 refrigerator for just about 2 years when the motherboard and the inverter broke down. Everything in the refrigerator had to be thrown away, including the $150 of groceries we just purchased! We have been without a refrigerator for over 2 months because getting it serviced and fixed takes very long. Ordering the part alone is a feat in itself. The part would not be received by Samsung until November 6 making it even longer to be fixed. They would receive it then send it to the parts company here on Oahu. Well, being that we have a party on October 31st, my husband ordered the $111.00 inverter on his own and paid extra to have the part rushed over. We will receive the inverter on Tuesday, 10/21 and the maintenance person will come on Wednesday to fix our refrigerator. We owned a GE for 11 years with absolutely no problem prior to buying this one. Obviously we made the worst decision to buy what we thought was the top of the line! Jokes on us! We will never again buy Samsung again! Crossing my fingers that it gets fixed.

First 3 months after we bought the Samsung dmt300, it was down. Sears came out repaired it, 3 months later down again. After 4 repairs in the first year, I had had enough. This is the worst freaking product I have ever bought. For the price you pay, you would think it would work great but heck no we have had a repair person here to fix the stupid thing over and over again from it completely being rebuilt the first year new motor. Pump front panel board and so on to the last few repairs of the top water jet falling off and the rollers on the racks falling off.Now another problem with the stupid thing - flashing heavy light, which by the way means there is a leak somewhere, which there is going to be another service call. Thank the Lord we had sense enough to purchase the extended warranty. Never again will I purchase a Samsung dishwasher. They are the biggest **. I do have to agree with some over posts; it does not get dishes clean or dry.

We bought new home and furnished with new Samsung kitchen appliances. Within the first four weeks, my wife start to notice tiny rust spots inside sheet metal tub of dishwasher. We called Lowes where we had purchased the appliances. The Lowes sales associate called Samsung dealer support customer service and they scheduled an in-home technician visit. The technician cancelled the appointment 2 hours before showing up and re-scheduled again. I took time off from work during week day for the technician visit. When technician showed up, he assessed that it is in fact rusting. He has seen parts corroded before but never this fast on the sheet metal. He said he can fix/repair things but with rust he cannot do anything. The unit needs to be exchanged. I asked him to take pictures for his documentation which he was not thinking off so he did. I waited a week but did not hear anything. So, I called and put on hold for half hour because Samsung customer service said they cannot locate any information on technician visit and they are now tracking him down. After half hour gone, I asked the agent to sort this internal between Samsung departments and get back to me. Another week gone by, no one followed up so I called again. This time was exact repeat of week before, put on hold again for half hour and still no information available from technicians visit. Like the week before, the agent asked me of the name of technician who visited our house. At this point, I was extremely frustrated and told the agent that this is something Samsung should know why customer has to call each week to sort out Samsung internal process. As a customer, I expect resolution of my problem not to help Samsung of their back office issues. I expect someone to take ownership of the issue, follow-up with whomever and get back. I ended called after half hour when agent could not locate the technician or any details of his visit. Later in the evening, I called again to see if the agent was able to find technician or find any information, the result was same. However, agent promised that someone call me next business day without me calling them back.I received a call from Samsung executive customer service that they now have the findings of the technician and indeed there dishwasher is getting rust. However, the cannot offer any exchange because the rust is cosmetic issue and they cannot offer any exchange. They cannot offer any other option and suggested to consult with the retailer. When I asked who is going to reimburse for installation cost of the dishwasher, I was told that Samsung will not reimburse. When I asked, who will reimburse for my time including time off from work for in-home technician visit and subsequent calls over three week dealing with this lemon? The answer was sorry we dont offer anything. I asked to speak to senior leadership; I was told there is no one that the agent can forward the call to.At this point, I have decided to work with Lowes to see if I can return all Samsung appliances worth over $5000 including front loading washer and dryer, large French door fridge and off course this defective dishwasher. I cannot trust the quality and workmanship of Samsung products. Period! What a shame, a company continues to make defective products. This is not the first time I have this experience, back in 2009 when I bought 55 high-end LCD TV, its LCD panel went out after first year and when they replaced the new LCD panel, six months later, it malfunctioned again resulting in swapping to a LED TV in working with their executive customer service.

Bought a Samsung oven range at Lowes with a rating of 5 stars and had it delivered (I thought it was an extremely great deal at 100 or so dollars below cost). Do not know who is doing the rating? After delivery I followed the directions precisely as my old stove was extremely old and conventional. I turned on the oven as directed and immediately noticed the continual clicking. Like I stated, my old stove was way outdated and thought maybe this was some sort of break in issue. Then the smell was horrible (HORRIBLE). I then opened every window and door and turned on the central air (it was off due to the weather being about 70 or so degrees outside) and put my dogs outside. I did this for hours, about 5 approximately. I then did not feel comfortable cooking with it but went ahead anyways. I put in a pan of buffalo wings. After the cook time I pulled them out and had no intention of eating them due to the ongoing smell, but found them burnt on top and undercooked underneath. I then decided to make a rice dish and turned the left burner on. It got extremely hot and within a minute. I was impressed honestly until I then turned the burner down to 2 to simmer. It stayed extremely hot!!! Glowing red! I then shut the burner off but the surface heat light stayed on and heat was still radiating for at least a half hour after. At this point I was scared of the stove!!! It was no longer clicking but was very hot and lights were still on although all burners had been off for at least 30 minutes. I decided to open the oven door and brought in a box fan and pointed it towards the open door and turned my Air Conditioning down to 68 degrees. I did not even dare to pull the stove out and unplug it as it was still so hot!!! Oven and stove were radiating, and heat surface lights were on although all units were turned off. After an hour or two (left the room) I came back to find the lights off and it still very warm but off. I then called Samsung and never got through! Called Lowes but it was after hours and no results. Now, I then had a family emergency and death in the family. I then tried cooking on the range Friday (got the range on Sunday remember). Long story short I got the same results and saw the 17 pages of Consumer Affairs issues, so I decided to document my issues and take still photos and video. After all this Lowes (my local store) did not hesitate to offer me a replacement stove. I had no problem with that and it was very fair although they would not pull the range from the floor and I demanded they do so! I insisted it was an extreme fire hazard and they did not disagree but did not comply either, so I called corporate. They did not agree either so I told them I would be filing a grievance and possible suit as well as calling the local investigative reporter. It is now a day later and have not been to the store. Again, tired from all this and my family emergency and death. I can only hope these ranges are no longer being sold. I also took still photos and video of the range burning for at least 40 minutes and heat warning lights on without any stove or oven turned on. YES I REPEAT.... THE RANGE WAS BURNING FULLY HOT WITHOUT ANY FEATURE TURNED ON!!! THAT WAS FOR OVER 40 MINUTES! PHOTOS AND VIDEO OF MY RANGE FULLY BURNING WHILE TURNED OFF. DO NOT BUY A SAMSUNG RANGE!!!

I received a brand new Samsung refrigerator model: RF263AFRS, purchased from Sears in February 2011. Despite appropriate care it failed the summer 2013 (two years!). Neither Sears nor Samsung offered to stand for the quality and the consumers concern for the excessive noise (now clearly audible through the entire two storey house!). The cooling also seems to be an issue. I am in the process of confirming the latter with an internally placed thermometer. I called both the Sears and the Samsung representatives: it appears they are not willing to investigate their failure to provide a quality product expected to perform up to expectation for at least 10 to 15 or more years similar or better than the old fridges we still own. I remodeled my entire kitchen and wanted the best appliances. Samsung came highly recommended at the time. I purchased the stainless steel refrigerator, range, dishwasher and microwave. I purchased an additional warranty on everything except the microwave because I have had cheap microwaves in the past that last more than 15 years. Who would have known, 16 months later, the microwave would be the first to give me problems. I started receiving this error code SE and the manual states to unplug it and plug it back in. Well, I tried that several times and it did not resolve the issue. Finally, I called Samsung and was told that a service repair person would need to come out. Never once told I would have to pay for someone to come out and check it. When I received my call back, I was told there is a $90+ charge just for someone to come out and if parts are needed, I would have to pay for the parts and repair. I am so frustrated right now for a microwave, not just any microwave but a Samsung microwave to break down after just 16 months. Well, when I asked approximately how much would it cost to repair the microwave, I was told it depends on if they had to order a part and if so, what part. I am sure that this is not the first time anyone received this error code and surely someone from Samsung (the maker) can tell me what the problem is and approximate cost, right? I feel it is very unfair to pay and have someone come out to tell you that it will cost hundreds to repair, potentially paying more than I paid for the microwave. All I want to know is for other repairs related to this error code, what is the approximate cost and I will never refer anyone to purchase a Samsung appliance.

Unless someone chose to make it right, which they wont, I would never buy a refrigerator ever again from Samsung. Absolutely, hands down, the worse decision I made. Spent nearly $2,000 and I would have been better off keeping my 20 year old Kenmore that ran very well but was outdated. Ive always used Samsung products, from TVs to phone, however this item rusted within a year (no, no harsh chemicals were ever used and water was quickly dried off). Fan motor went in 2 years. Fan motor was under warranty so no problem, however rusted doors were never covered as they were cosmetic. Samsungs products are purchased precisely for that reason - theyre beautiful. But trust me, they are garbage. Samsung didnt want to make it right - so no more TVs... I am an iPhone guy now... never again until they make it right.

Samsung sent certified company to determine if under warranty, who confirmed under warranty. Though they were Samsung certified, they were not warranty work certified and they were supposed to report back to Samsung. Waited a long time on hold, Samsung said their recommended company did not report back. Waited on hold a long time, and Samsung cant schedule a warranty company to fix this for another five days. We have been without a refrigerator for over three weeks. This has not been a good experience for our family of five. We have been without a refrigerator for a long time and no confidence that this company that is supposed to fix the refrigerator will be competent.

When I bought my Samsung self-cleaning range with convection oven and glass
When I bought my Samsung self-cleaning range with convection oven and glass door it never occurred to me that dirt could get between the double glass on the oven door. I have had ranges from other manufacturers with see-thru doors before and have never experienced a problem. The Samsung, however, manages to collect dust so that after three years I cant even see the interior of the oven. I had a Samsung repair specialist look at it and he said theres no way to clean it.After three years the self-cleaning process no longer cleans and burners have hot spots. Ive stopped using the convection feature because theres no difference between that and the regular oven as far as performance is concerned. I am very unhappy with the Samsung range and am looking forward to replacing it soon. I would not recommend a Samsung product to my worse enemy if I had one. Suggest if you are thinking of buying Samsung you run as fast as you can in another direction.

I purchased a Samsung dishwasher for my new home and I purchased it 3 months before my house was finished. When the contractor was ready I bought the dishwasher in the box to the new house so they can install it. We moved in the house Oct. 1, 2019. Two weeks ago I called Samsung about the dishwasher wasnt working and explained to the customer service rep that I havent been in my home a year yet. I was advised that the dishwasher is out of warranty and that I can pay someone to come out and check it out. They said the warranty expired at the end of last month. Stupid me I purchased a Samsung microwave, Samsung dishwasher, and a Samsung refrigerator. Im disappointed one because I got less than a year of service out of the dishwasher and two the level of customer service you get when you spend the extra money to get a product that suppose to be good. I will purchase a new dishwasher but it wont be samsung.

I really want to share my bad experience with Samsung Microwave Model ME18H
I really want to share my bad experience with Samsung Microwave Model ME18H704SFS/AC. I wish I would google Samsung microwaves before buying one. I just read report from people who bought microwave in February 2016. I bought mine on May 2, 2016 from Best buy in Vancouver Canada. I also bought 5 years warranty on this microwave. On 28th day after purchasing we tried to warm up bowl of soup (in microwavable dish), and we felt a burning smell coming from microwave. When I opened the door I discovered a fire on the right wall of microwave. I was able to stop the fire with kitchen towel. I cannot operate this microwave any longer because it is a fire hazard in my house.Same day I called to SAMSUNG customer service. They gave a case number and told me that somebody will contact me. Next day I called them again and they transferred me to some kind escalation department. The manager from escalation department said that if he will get pictures and receipt from me now, he will speed up the process. I emailed him pics and have not heard anything after that. On Monday, I called again to customer service. The manager told me that she could not find me in her database, she also said that they were not able to open up my pictures. I told her to transfer me to the escalation department. After 30 min wait I was able to talk to a guy who confirmed receiving pictures. He also was able to open them up. He told me that he sent my case to the Head office. I asked him why nobody sent me a simple email with acknowledgement of receiving my email. He did not have any answer for me. I asked him what is the reasonable time to get an answer from Head office. At the beginning he said 48 hours and then he did not know. He also said that he has no idea what kind outcome I should expect. And just to add to this story... I called to the insurance provider for Best Buy. They told me that they cannot touch my microwave because it is a factory defect which appeared in first 30 days. I am not even upset anymore. This company is a joke. Samsung really needs to get a lesson for producing dangerous and unreliable appliances and treating consumers so poorly. I will wait for 48 hours (legally you have to give them some time to rectify the situation). If Samsung will not replace their lousy microwave I will take this matter to Small Claim Court and I really want to.

The control panel went bad, and the unit (two years old, gently used) flashed an error message. Its a common display, from what I learned online. Samsung makes a microwave with oven lights and fan to fit over an oven but cant tolerate the heat and vapor that rises from the stove. Many, many of such units have suffered control panel failure. I called Samsung and outlined the problem. That was almost two weeks ago. The Samsung representative said I would receive a call within two days with information about who would repair the unit at no cost to me. The company would extend the warranty for this repair because of design flaws. Then, she said, I would receive a call within no more than two additional days from the repair company to set a date and time for the replacement. Ive received no calls from anybody about this problem. Im trying now to retrace my earlier call, and its frustrating. I want my microwave repaired, and Samsung is not cooperating after promising my satisfaction.

My three-year old Samsung freezer is constantly frosting up and has built up ice so badly that the gasket around the freezer drawer is now completely out of whack and the draw doesnt close properly anymore which only makes matters worse. I had a Sears repairman come to the house and he tried. He said he had fixed the problem; well, he didnt. I paid $2,800 for this refrigerator and did not buy extended warranty thinking I would not need it and could not really afford anymore. It cost me $300 to have a serviceman come to the house and its still not fixed.

I have had an SE error code for 3 years and also lighting and fan would come on at random while we were sitting on the couch and got so bad we had to unplug it before we left the house. I called Samsung and they sent out a repairman who said it was under a recall and replaced the touch pad which didnt fix it and left with a new keypad installed and doing the same EXACT thing! They came out again to replace the touch pad and he said it was not the touch pad on mine causing the SE error and other problems, it was the circuit main board that they unscrew and reuse on the new keypad. The repairman wanted over $200 to order and come back out and replace to fix the SE error code and lighting and fan issue. I declined the repair because I wasnt sinking another $200 in a $400 Microwave and immediately called Samsung and informed them that the keypad was NOT the part going bad from stove top grease on ALL microwaves, that it is also the circuit board. And the Supervisor said that Samsung would not cover that part because only the keypad is covered. Look folks, I worked at a name brand new car dealership as a technician and I will tell you.... ANY part that is causing the problem with the recall is covered so that the check engine light, etc is resolved and the customer goes away happy. Samsung told me when I told them they were about to lose a customer over this that they are sorry to lose me but they wont fix the recall unless its the EXACT part that lets say 10,000 microwaves have over 100 microwaves have being this electronic main board! I am very very upset over this and do not understand why they will install a part in someones microwave that wont fix the recall. Now the microwave stays on when you open the door so I guess a lawsuit is going to be coming from someone over this.

I purchased this new refrig. when my old one gave out, so I was in a hurry to get one and did not do any homework as to the appliance. I went by the name alone. Big mistake. Right from the front door inside the house this thing was making noises like crazy. After 2 weeks of trying to get a repair man out, they finally replaced the fan and the ice maker. These loud banging noises, and cracking sounds, then sounds like hot water hitting cold, sizzling noises continue. All day and All night!! My dogs are barking all night thinking someone is coming into the house it is so loud, when company comes, I have to shut their door, in hopes they can sleep. I would never buy another Samsung ever!! I would like to get some sleep at night, I do have to work. I hope someone reads this and can do something about this problem, or replaces this haunted device. Thank you for reading.

We bought a Samsung dishwasher model DMR78 in October 2010. We selected a Samsung model that was fairly expensive thinking that it would be more reliable and would last longer than conventional models. That was a mistake. After about 2 years it started to make a grinding noise. Since Samsung had no local service center we had to call an independent repair company. The diagnostic was that all the plastic brackets supporting the dishes trays were broken and little loose parts blocked the drain pump. We had to replace the pump. The repair cost was 258$. A year after we had again a grinding noise and we had to call for service again. This time the problem could not be located as it just suddenly disappear after being checked by the service men.About 6 months after we started having error codes #9E. This indicate a clogged level switch that I was able to fix myself by using instructions found on Youtube. It still means that I have to pull out the dishwasher and open it to fix it. This repair takes about 2 hours. That code started showing up again after 6 months and we are seriously thinking to replace the dishwasher after less than 5 years of usage! I would definitely not recommend buying a Samsung dishwasher.

Purchased a Samsung French door refrigerator in Dec of 2011 from Best Buy for our winter home in Florida for $1670 plus tax. I did not purchase the extended warranty. Big mistake. The refrigerator worked great for 35 months. Loved the external water and ice maker and the wide refrigerator access. Upon our return to Florida for the 2014 winter season the refrigerator freezer was fine (We keep it running year round). The next day the ice maker stopped working and we realized neither the refrigerator nor the freezer were cooling. Called Samsung immediately. The phone contact gave me the name of their authorized service company in my area but told me that they had no service call appointments available for 7 days. She suggested I call the service company directly when I shared that I couldnt wait 7 days as I had just purchased a freezer full of food. I called the service company directly and was told I could not get an earlier appointment. Called Samsung again and asked for another authorized repair service in my area (Boca Raton, FL). She informed me they had no one else in my area. I told her I would have to call another repair service to get quicker service. (This was Friday morning). She said she understood and wished me luck. Another appliance serviceman in my area finally came Friday afternoon. He diagnosed the problem as a bad main board which he related was common for Samsung refrigerators. He said that we should have purchased an extended warranty from Best Buy because it was going to cost $650 for the replacement part and $150 for labor. He also suggested that it would probably break again in 2 years. He shared that he sees this problem in many Samsung refrigerators. We declined service and he graciously did not charge us for the service call. I called Samsung again. She informed me that they now could do nothing for me as I had an unauthorized (by Samsung) appliance repairman open the back of the refrigerator. When questioned, she explained that an authorized Samsung repair service (who wouldnt even come until the following Friday) could have SOLD me a new warranty which might have discounted the labor charges on the $850 repair. Now Samsung could not help me at all.I ran over to Lowes and purchased a brand new Whirlpool French refrigerator for $1499 plus a 5 year warranty for $150 that covers everything (including parts and spoiled food) from Lowes. They delivered it the next day. I have learned that you have to purchase an extended warranty from the store for all major appliances now.

On May 7, 2015 our Samsung refrigerator and freezer stopped cooling, and all our food was spoiled. The unit was under warranty so I contacted Samsung but they refused to honor their warranty. It took twenty days of emailing product support, service request, phone calls and live chats between Samsung and I, for them to finally send someone to look at the unit. It took another seven days for a repair man to show up with a replacement part to fix it. We went almost a month without a fridge. The working fridge only lasted a few days before it failed to cool again and I lost what I had stored in my fridge, again. A technician was able to mend the problem. But just a few days later it gave out again. Every time this unit failed I lost most of the food in the fridge. The Samsung authorized repairman doesnt even want to deal with my fridge and tells us to deal with Samsung. Samsung just sends us around in circles between their support pages. For 4 weeks, Samsung could not get a tech to come and service my refrigerator so they decided to provide me with a refund. I was never verbally informed by the manager to keep my fridge. I sent in my documentation and was told after my fridge was hauled away that I was supposed to keep the fridge. Customer support has been horrible, for months Ive tried resolving this issue. Dishwasher worked great for 6 months or so. Much quieter than previous dishwasher. Loved the extra space on the top rack. Samsung Dishwasher DW80F800UWS. Started intermittently displaying OE error code. We would try again, shake things, etc. Eventually it would run. Now, it consistently fails, having tried 10+ times in a row. I opened things up and clean parts and reassembled it. I tried what I thought was the most vigorous setting... pots and pans with storm wash. Failed within a minute. I took out all the dishes and racks. Now... it works. Bottom rack. Works fine. Top rack... fails.Experimenting a bit, it fails when the water first attempts to spray out the top rack. That nozzle at the back of the dishwasher hooks into the spinning bit on the bottom of the top rack. I cleaned and rinsed it with vinegar to remove any build up. Still fails. Of course I let it all dry and tried again. Now it fails and the top part is still dry. I smack the side of it a few times and now its sort of working again. No telling how long until it fails again. It is so aggravating.

The original fridge I had purchased had a defective water/ice dispenser. Initially the Hudsons Bay wanted to have it serviced rather than replaced, despite it being delivered in that condition. The Samsung service people didnt show up for the booked appointment. After fighting with the Hudsons Bay to replace the fridge 9 months later, after taking the complaint to The Star, through the Hudson Bay Executive Service Department arrangements were made for the fridge to be replaced. On the second Samsung fridge that was delivered, the right door on the fridge is in excess of 1/2 inch from the top of the fridge, right across the whole door and in excess of 1/2 lower, both on the top and bottom of the right door than the left door.Samsung claimed it was a leveling issue, sent me instructions on how to level it and told me to do it myself. Every individual I consulted with agreed it is impossible for it to be a leveling issue; it is a manufacturing defect. The fridge is under warranty and despite calling back and speaking with a supervisor, Samsung has not responded and will not deal with their defective product. On December 15, 2015 I purchased a Samsung French Door Refrigerator. Less than one month after delivery the ice maker quit working, was totally frozen up from leaking water. I purchased this item from Best Buys Pacific. The Geek Squad replaced part of the ice maker but did not remedy the program. Upon searching the internet the above was a known problem with this particular refrigerator. In fact Samsung had issued a technical bulletin on how to fix this problem. In the interim I purchased an extended warranty from Samsung. The same initial problem reoccurred in early December 2016. I took my complaint to the appliance manager at Pacific in Best Buy. He told me this was a Samsung problem. It has now been six weeks and several visits from repair companies the ice maker has not been fixed. It still freezes up, leads water and stops making ice cubes. I was directed to the regional representative for Samsung. Keeps sending out a different repair company without results. Needless to say I am totally frustrated with Samsung and their defective product. I have asked Samsung to replace the refrigerator but upon examining a more recent model the same problem was visible. Samsung continues to sell a defective product. I will be filing complaints with the Texas and Federal lemon laws to try and rectify the above problems. Needless to say I cannot recommend Samsung to anyone.

The worst fridge imaginable! Avoid purchasing a Samsung fridge with exterior ice & water dispenser. We have the French door version (not our first weve had LG in the past) and since Day 1 it has caused us grief and damaged our hardwood floors. The water dispenser nozzle is bent towards the fridge instead of straight down (default setting apparently according to Samsung), and dispenses water with such force that no matter what you do, you end up with water shooting back at you and ultimately onto the floor. Similar problems with the ice dispenser. Although it is always on CUBE setting, shards of ice always spill forth in all directions, ultimately ending up on the floor. We have had to place a tea towel beside the fridge to wipe up the floors EACH TIME we use either ice or water dispenser. Both water and ice dispensers have damaged our hardwood floors over time, and we have had this fridge for only 7 months! Calling Samsung warranty and repair is a nightmare too; disorganized group of customer service representatives who patch you through to another department, ultimately making you repeat the reason why you are calling in the first place. (Why Samsung doesnt have a customer complaint database accessible to all customer service reps is shocking to me.)Ultimately through Samsung we had a visit from a Samsung Certified Repair technician who fiddled around with a couple things and attempted to convince us all was good. We still have the same problems. I am going to work on returning this fridge. How anyone can purchase an appliance that damages your house AND requires you to do extra work is beyond comprehension. We purchased the fridge at Sears Canada and I will be fighting tooth and nail to exchange this for an LG.

I have a home appliance repair service that I pay a monthly fee for and they also acknowledge that people are having problems with the Samsung refrigerators all over the metro where I live. Im sorry, its not like me to even write something negative. However, my family has been poisoned because of Samsungs malfunctioning refrigerator. The digital readout is not accurate in displaying the actual temperature of the refrigerator. Bacteria starts to grow on perishables at any temperature above 40 degrees. Upon me serving food, it read 34. This was while it was under-warranty and all you did was pay for the Parts ha. Since then, this refrigerator has not worked by freezing up once a month at least for the long 6 years Ive owned it. I firmly intend on continuing to get word out regarding this as I am a very experienced enterprise digital marketer. Dont worry, Ill keep the audience within the United States. You poisoned my family, put a band-aid on a broken fridge and it never ever worked properly. Nice job Samsung. Maybe, fridges arent your thing. If you drop that product line, Samsung may even see a spike in revenue as many people and families have been poisoned in the same way and the unanimous audience of Samsung Refrigerator owners will all feel relieved.

My microwave, purchased in late 2010 finally started showing the dreaded SE error message about two weeks ago. The device appeared to be getting phantom button presses (fortunately not the start button) and beeping until I pulled the power plug. Tried a few times to clean the flex cable connecting the keypad to the controller card, but now that only makes it functional for a day or two. Was amazed to see that this fragile connection spans 8+ years of production. Seeing that this has happened to so many others, makes me feel lucky that I got this much use out of it.

I just logged in to see if anything had changed. I purchased the Samsung set electric stove, fridge, dishwasher, microwave and washer dryer. This was for our winter home and used only 6 months a year. So other than entertaining these appliances do not get used. After reading these reviews Im feeling very lucky. After two years we are on our second stovetop that has exploded (and not covered by warranty). The top is so bad you can slice your hand open just by cleaning. The stove light stays on hot permanently, the cleaning feature has never worked, the heat is never even and the funniest thing is that the first time I cleaned it with Windex all of the numbers came off the dials. When I called them they agreed to cover it, wasted my time by sending out a repairman who then called me a liar and said I had broken the stove. I have never heard of such unethical handling in my life. I own apartments and have never had this problem with good old American products. And I will never shop at the store I purchased this at because they carried and supported such a horrible product.

Then 1.5 yr later, it completely stopped working. I believe the design is flawed as the ice maker sits in the refrigerator section and not the freezer area. Having different temperatures, plastic gears, etc...are probably the root cause. Fortunately, Samsung did honor a one time warranty so that it wouldnt cost me the $610 to replace the case auger and ice maker via the authorized repair place.

Where to begin: the clear plastic fronts of all of the door shelves cracked
Where to begin: the clear plastic fronts of all of the door shelves cracked and fell off. Some door shelves simply fell out and broke as well. The center deli drawer sticks requiring serious pulling to get it open. The hinges for the cover for the deli drawer broke at the pivots which are built into the refrigerator. The cover also fell out and cracked. Our house is not air-conditioned. When the temperature gets into the 80s, the refrigerators control computer does not like that and the control panel blinks on and off, turning on and off all of the functions (upper ice maker, lower ice maker, crushed ice, water) and the temperature control randomly switches as well. The lower ice maker fell off after a few months. Samsung would not help. I engaged a private repair company who indicated that they had seen that happen before. A few weeks after he replaced the ice maker, it broke again. The repair company indicated that they would not/could not guarantee any repairs on the Samsung refrigerator. At this point, there is no lower ice maker at all. Upon several occasions, the upper ice maker flap jammed open. And as other reviewers have mentioned - Samsung customer service is about the worst one could imagine. In all, the terrible experiences that we have had with this refrigerator have given us one clear path forward: NEVER, EVER purchase any Samsung refrigerators!!!

Samsung SMH9187 Microwave with SE error - Pro tip: Take a picture of the SE
Samsung SMH9187 Microwave with SE error - Pro tip: Take a picture of the SE error displayed on your microwave if you plan to try to get Samsung to repair it. About two weeks ago, our microwave displayed the SE error code and began to beep every 15 minutes or so. I looked online for suggestions, and one of the first was to unplug the microwave and see if it resets. That made sense to me; most of us have encountered the occasional electronic gremlin. Unfortunately, I didnt think to take a picture of the SE error first. Ill explain later why that matters.Unplugging the microwave for a few minutes and plugging it in again, got rid of the SE error. Unfortunately, the microwave would then turn on by itself and attempt to cook an imaginary baked potato. It was like a ghost was pushing the baked potato button. I assume there is such a button, the display would read BAKED POTATO and the microwave would run. Not a good situation. We unplugged the microwave. I then researched further, and found that this is not an uncommon problem and a number of people were successfully getting this model of microwave with the SE error repaired free of charge.I called Samsung and related my story. I was given options for repair, each of which would cost me more money than I wanted to spend. When I countered that I had read Samsung was fixing the SE error, I was told that was true BUT I NO LONGER HAD THE SE ERROR. The customer service rep said I now had a different problem, the imaginary baked potato cooking problem. Frustrating. She then said perhaps I could plug my microwave in again and the SE error would return - worth a try. She gave me an issue ticket number for future use. I plugged the microwave in, and after stopping and clearing some baked potato cooking sessions, and a few hours of silence, the SE code reappeared. Success, in a manner of speaking, I took several pictures of the display showing the SE code.I called Samsung again. I gave them my ticket number, explained that I again had the SE code, and asked that they repair my microwave. They said okay immediately, but emphasized my consent that if the issue was something other than the SE error, it would cost me. I said fine, and explained I had pictures of the SE error to show the repair tech even if the microwave did not display the SE error when he arrived - which was the case. The tech came this morning and repaired the microwave this morning. Yes, I had to go through some hassle, but Samsung repaired my nearly four year old microwave at their expense. Thats pretty nice. (They repaired a more than four year old TV for me too, but thats another story.)

I bought this expensive Samsung 4 door refrigerator from Sears in 2012. The ice maker is the worse. Within 3 month it stopped making ice. Sears came to repair. This replaced the ice maker. It started working 2 month later stopped. Replaced all mechanism starts working again. 8 months later stopped again, replaced again 3rd time. 1 year later out of warranty. Called Samsung. They refused to do anything about it. Called local appliance dealer, had it replaced $595. Broke again within in 2 months. I looked up this refrigerator and not only this one, but other Samsung units have had many problems with the ice maker and Samsung is doing nothing about it. I would not buy this refrigerator or any Samsung if I was you. It was a $4,000 cost with no ice. They have terrible products.

DW80F600UTS/AA was 18 months old and lightly used (3x month), the smart auto and normal lights flashing. The Samsung repair guy replaced the PCB Main and the sensor ECS. He said the PCB main was an updated one (problems with the one in my dishwasher). Samsung will not pay for parts after 1 year even if lightly used. The repair guy said it is likely to fail again and is only under warranty for 90 days. Do not buy this product. When it fails again it will be used for a drying rack since I dont generate a lot of dishes.

We bought the Samsung double oven glass top electric range in January 2016
We bought the Samsung double oven glass top electric range in January 2016 for a bargain basement price of $1719, plus tax. Because they discontinued basic black we had to get the black stainless. In November, while wiping the upper oven door with a damp cloth some of the black stainless finish peeled off. I called Samsung Customer Service, if you want to call it that. They asked me to send a picture of the damage. They got back to me and called it consumer wear. I said, no its a defective finish. We went back and forth and finally, on December 5th they called me back and said its cosmetic and not covered. I said, the finish failed, and am I supposed to look at this for the next 8 years. They said I can get it fixed myself. In addition, the oven racks are so flimsy that when I had a 15 pound turkey in the oven the rack collapsed. Fortunately the other rack was right below and I was able to fix it. You have to remember to keep the pan in the center of the rack. Dealing with Samsung is worse than dealing with the VA. I will never buy another Samsung appliance. After reading the other reviews, Im really looking forward to some of the other problems I can have.

I bought my Samsung Dishwasher in 2011. When we had owned it only 13 months (only used 7 months as I stored it until kitchen renovation was complete) my Samsung dishwasher DMT800 broke down the first time. Had to wait a week before I could get anyone to work on it. The plastic tabs on the top rack had broken and fallen into the bottom and the washer arm would not spin. Technician ordered new brackets and installed them, cost $200. Same thing happened with new plastic part. I had my husband take the whole thing apart and clear out the brackets the next time. Now the top arm of the dishwasher will not work nor will the detergent dispenser dump the detergent. Loved my old KitchenAid dishwasher. It was still working perfectly when I gave it away to install matching Samsung appliances. Will never buy Samsung again. Hope you see this before you buy Samsung. Beware.

The LED lights on the Heavy and Quick buttons start flashing and the dishwasher stops working after a minute or so of starting the dishwasher. I bought the dishwasher in January 2011 and the problem first happened just after a year of purchase, so I was outside of the warranty. The bill to fix this was about $300 and all the repair person did was pull out the dishwasher and wash the sensor (he said that there was some kind of dirt on the sensor). It took him about 5 minutes to fix it. He advised me to run the dishwasher empty once a month on Sanitize mode. I have been doing this diligently. Now less than 2 years later, I am encountering the same issue all over again. It seems like there is a problem with the design of the dishwasher. Other than the initial investment, Samsung wants consumers to spend $300 every 2 years to keep the dishwasher running!!

Purchased my Samsung electric range in January of 2015. It has been a year and a half, and the Samsung silver letters located right under the panel that contains the clock, baking settings, and so forth have peeled completely off, the white circles on top of the range that denote where to place the pan/pot are fading. I also noticed that the small black circles that indicate if it is, for example, front right or front left on the range are fading and the black lines around the knobs are fading as well. I was very excited to get this new appliance, and have tried to keep the stovetop as clean as possible. I have only used recommended cleaners for this kind of range, Needless to say, I now have permanent burn spots and I cannot get rid of them. When I clean now, I have to be extremely careful. Im afraid that the fading will continue and my range that is less than two years old will look like its 10 years old. Highly disappointed and will probably not buy a Samsung range again.

Samsung is a joke. We have a refrig, under warranty. They sent a tech 3 times, 3rd time (after charging us a total of $220) declared nonrepairable and theyd send a check for the invoice total (we submitted all they asked for, including a photo that wed cut the cord!). Promised refund on 9/12/2018. 10/12/2018 the chat guy doesnt answer. Nothing sent. They have trained people to keep you in a crazy loop that makes you think theyre working on the problem. In the end, nothing has happened but empty promises. Do NOT purchase SAMSUNG. Theres a reason for the low rating.

Don’t be lured by the exterior look like I was. The engineered is designed for failure! After replacing icemaker 2 times, the seal system failed that cooled the refrigerator. $500 worth of food gone! 48 hours x 4 different service techs set up by them who were not CCF Licensed to work on the seal system. My Yeti Cooler works better than this Samsung product. Thankfully my cooler is working in the kitchen, now Samsung wants me to prove my purchase after buying in 2014 from Home Depot. Going to go buy more ice...
