RF267ABRS - My experience leads me to believe that Samsung refrigerators are junk. They look nice but after a few years, you will have problems. It started with the lower part of the refrigerator filling with water that iced up and leaked onto the hardwoods. I kept having to get ice and water out of the fridge, then it stopped (for now). Next, my ice maker chamber stopped cooling. Theres nothing online about how to fix this (that I could find). I called Samsung but if the fridge is not under 1 year old then they tell me they can set me up with maintenance but I have to pay for it. I had to buy a new washer and dryer and decided it was time to stop giving loyalty to a company that in my opinion, makes things to break. Stick with Samsung TVs, skip the appliance.

In November of this year I bought a Samsung fridge side-by-side with the bottom drawer and noticed three months later that the fridge drawer was discolouring, you’re not the same colour of the stainless steel as the rest of the fridge. I called them to complain and get this fixed and they said this was a cosmetic issue and it’s not covered. All this is dealing with them is a way of them playing with words and not fulfilling their responsibilities with warranty, anything but helping a customer as what I got this is definitely not cosmetic, it is a manufactures defect but they don’t use those words. Buyer beware. I will never buy Samsung products again and neither will my family members.

Terrible product, defective ice maker that can never be fixed. It gets replaced by Samsung multiple times and it still causes problems. Defective products sold over and over by Samsung. Ice maker leaks constantly then stops working and freezes shut. Impossible to use. Product was defective since week one.

We purchased a Samsung French Door refrigerator six months ago. Since then, we have had a service call on the ice maker (which was not screwed into the mounting and fell so you couldnt open/close the freezer door). Today, the food was melted and the refrigerator warm. Lights and temp gauges showed it was working properly. Spent 45 minutes on the phone with Samsung to get authorization of warranty to call a local appliance man. Now they will not even give me a date when it might be fixed. They will call me when they are available to come to my home. Best guess is four days away as the soonest!!!The appliance is not worth the money, and the service and warranty are definitely not customer oriented! I would definitely not recommend a Samsung, and will NEVER purchase again!

I am a 73 yo Veteran and have had a dishwasher all my life. This Samsung dishwasher (Model #AA3JAG9MC&05835Y) is the worst I have ever owned starting with the dumb design of the dish racks that make your glasses fall over and dished roll when the rack is pulled out or pushed in. The worst problem is that it does not clean the dishes, I have been embarrassed several times when guests poured a drink and then dumped it when they saw the glass was not clean. I wash the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher and still have to put a lot back in the dishwasher when they come out dirty. Ran the dishwasher twice yesterday and the dishes and glasses still come out dirty. Samsung wants me to spend my money to have their reps come out to fix the problem. Not going to happen, will throw out the Samsung and buy another brand that does what it is supposed to do.Also having problems with my Samsung Grand Prime cell phone. Friends are cursing me for not answering my phone only to find out that the ringer has changed from sound to vibrate or do not disturb WITHOUT my knowledge. Samsung can correct by a simple LOCK function on settings but after numerous calls and requests Samsung did nothing to correct the problem. Solution to my problems: TRASH MY SAMSUNG PRODUCTS AND GET ANOTHER BRAND THAT WORKS.

Samsung Dishwasher Model DW80J3020OUS. OMG Do Not Buy this Dishwasher!!! I
Samsung Dishwasher Model DW80J3020OUS. OMG Do Not Buy this Dishwasher!!! I thought Id update my kitchen with all Samsung appliances. Let me tell you besides the refrigerator a HUGE MISTAKE!!! I will do other write-ups on the Microwave and stove issues, but this one will focus on the dishwasher. I had it for about a week when I started realizing dishes were not getting clean, only the very first run did but none after that. Then I saw that the soap dispenser was only dispensing the soap after I opened the door when all cycles were completed, so soap was not dispensing. So after about three resets of dishwasher and 6 times of no soap dispensing I called Samsung service line only to be belittled by the customer service rep who insisted the dishwasher must be installed incorrectly. Im like no it has power check, it also has a water supply check, water goes into and comes out of dishwasher but soap dispenser is not working. She then said are you sure the dishwasher is level, and I was like yes, and did you reset it, yes. Well, she said, we can gladly send out a technician but if they determine you did something wrong with install we will bill you for their time. I am like forget it I bought it from Best Buy and its not even 2 months old so I called Best Buy and they are swapping it out for a real dishwasher a Whirlpool. Samsung service person told me that maybe the water going into the unit wasnt hot enough and that my unit didnt have a heating element, which I found out is untrue, but it is a very small heating element and is used more to maintain water temp rather than actually heat the water. So she tells me maybe I should just run hot water in the kitchen sink until it feels hot, then run the dishwasher, REALLY!!! No, I did not pay $400 to run my hot water first. Also this unit does not actually dry the dishes. It blows a little fan for about 20 minutes then says its done. Well actually it has no indicator its done other than no lights are on. But that leads to another issue of my kids not knowing if dishes are clean or dirty so tech suggested I get a magnet for that purpose, AGAIN NO!! I had a Maytag for 22 year and it never had an issue. The unit was only replaced because it was white... I should have kept it.So in short this dishwasher though looks nice and is quiet, does not heat water efficiently, does not dispense soap consistently, does not dry your dishes completely, and when it is working does not do a great job getting griming dishes clean. ALSO this unit somehow has broken 2 glasses that were on the top shelf, not sure how, but very crazy, and Samsung support, from my perspective, REALLY SUCKS!! If you call them expect to be blamed for using your product wrong or having it installed incorrectly and generally talked down to. So much for friendly customer service. Come on Samsung I have all your phone, tablets, and laptops about to go away if you cannot handle my appliance needs!!! Stay away from this Dishwasher!!!

We love the fridge, just not the ice maker. We have had the fridge for over 2 yrs now but in the past 6 months we have had to defrost it about 3 times. Getting a bit ridiculous! We also have water that runs down to the freezer and is freezing under the bottom tray. We paid way too much to deal with a problem like this. We would love a solution!

Im envious of the other reviewer who had to wait for major problems after 4 years. Weve owned our French Door model costing approx. $2,600 for 2 years. Repaired ice maker 3 times and now it just gave up, spewing metal parts into the ice tray. The attached photo shows what you can expect to find in your ice. Samsungs Indian Service Dept. just says were so sorry, please upload photos and we will contact you. 4 weeks in, no response despite many phone calls. Do not waste your time calling Samsung service. Buy an appliance from a company that at least pretends to care e.g GE or Kitchen Aid. Too bad, it looks beautiful and has all the features we wanted, but its garbage.

We bought a beautiful looking RF30HBEDBSSR/AA and had nothing but trouble with the ice maker. Samsung will not come up with a solution or stand behind their product. We thought about replacing the ice maker but Samsung has not corrected the problem, so buying a new one will not solve the problem! We have to defrost the freezer the old fashion way, with hot water. We are tired of doing this process because we have to keep the refrigerator doors cracked open so it wont start freezing again. By doing this we have lost perishable goods. We have replaced our Washer and Dryer with a different brand because Samsung wont fix the problem and now we are replacing our refrigerator even though its not that old! Next well replace our range. We started replacing our TVs also. NO MORE SAMSUNG!!!!

I was complainant # 100 and this is a follow-up of the situation. I called a 4th time to Samsung Customer Service to inform them of my success at repairing the microwave SMH9187ST and requested only the cost of the control panel assembly ($71.02). After some deliberation, the answer was no because I was not an authorized repair technician. Had I waited on Samsung to handle this situation with their service, I would have had no expense. Samsung now recognizes a problem with these microwaves and will assist consumers. I feel like Im being punished for being a capable do-it-yourself-er. Even by todays standards - where risk for product reliability is forced onto consumers who must then buy extended warranties - this fridge is terrible. It makes god-awful noise twice a day that you can hear all over the house. I called BrandsMart three days in to complain and they said thats just how it sounds, too bad for me. I will not buy a Samsung anything ever again - and certainly not from BrandsMart. Service on this through extended warranty has been horrible. They use attractive designs to help them sell substandard product and poor Service. Then sales people abet by telling you they are great fridges. I cant count how many complaints I have now read. This was the Bottom Freezer refrigerator, Black.

The refrigerator is just over 2 years old and its falling apart. 3 panels are broken off and now the bottom ice maker is broken as well. This appliance was $2500 and is junk. It should last at least 10 years. My last GE profile lasted 16 years and not one thing broke on it during that time. They sure dont make things like they used to. I tried calling Samsung and was told there is nothing they can do for me because its past the 1 year warranty. A 1 year warranty for an appliance that should last at least 10 years is a joke and shows they really dont stand behind their quality nor do they value keeping customers. I will not buy Samsung appliances anymore. Ill stick with Kenmore or LG or GE or KitchenAid. Stay away from this Manufacturer.

We bought the Samsung french door with lower pull out door freezer. We had trouble from the beginning getting it to maintain the correct temperature in the freezer portion of the refrigerator. We purchased the appliance through Home Depot and they sent the approved tech who replaced the digital sensors and panels. Still, the refrigerator did not get down to nor maintain the required temp.We had the repairman out again; they replace more items. We removed the ice maker altogether and no difference ensued. My husband went back to Home Depot yesterday asking that they replace this fairly expensive appliance and we were told that since the warranty had run out that they would not be replacing it. What does this mean? If we had not bought the warranty and just had them out over and over would it have forced a replacement? These digital display and sensor units are just not engineered well! We will not ever buy another and are thinking of looking for older refrigerators at vintage repair places. Apparently the idea is to get us used to expecting **, buying warranties and subsidizing the industry! !

Price was over $300.00 and this appears to be a very common issue at around the 18th month of usage mark per the complaints online I have read. Of course, I called the company and they state, Too bad, it is out of warranty (12 months). The company needs to look at the business they are losing over what could be a small fix. I will no longer purchase any Samsung products. I was a dedicated Samsung customer because the quality was there in the past. In this economy, you would think that a company would value the customers they have and when they see a defect like this, they should address it, not just brush it off. Samsung needs to look at Tylenol for an example of going above and beyond for its customers. So with that said, I have a $350 microwave that lasted less than 2.5 years so maybe I will just purchase a cheap microwave every year. At least, I will get a new one each year and may be more cost effective,

I bought a new dishwasher model DW80R2031 in Dec 2020. I HATE this dishwasher. The prongs on the racks are angled and so close together that I cannot fit my dishes in. On the top rack my glasses do not fit in the shall rows and need to sit over one or two of the prongs. Because of that they knock against each other during the wash cycle. I am surprised that none of them have broken yet. On the bottom rack the prongs are so close together that the platters and lids to my pans do not fit unless I bend the prongs. Because all of the prongs are angled juice pitchers and pans have to just balance on top and hope they dont move during the cycle. I have to wash lots of dishes by hand because I cant fit get them to fit in the dishwasher. If I could take it back I would. I will never buy another Samsung appliance again.

February 24, 2016 - Purchased Samsung Microwave OTR Oven ME18H704SF. March 9, 2016 (Approx) Hung on wall and attached Microwave to newly install Kitchen Cabinet. March 15, 2016 - We were using the microwave for the 3rd time when it malfunctioned. The Internal electrical magnetron mechanism behind display overheated and cut a hole on the right side of the cooking box and started a fire. At the time this happened my wife was cooking a package of microwaveable veggies on the turntable. Cooking instructions were to microwave for 5 minutes on High. When there was about 1 minute left in the cycle my wife noticed a small fire on the inside of the unit. She opened the door and put out the fire. I opened the cabinet above the microwave and unplugged the unit from the wall.March 15, 2016 - Sent email to Samsung through their website with my info, Microwave info and the information above and below: We can no longer trust this unit in our home. Please send appropriate individual to pick up unit. Please send check for purchase price of unit in the amount of $263.74 to the following address. (Home). The Unit can also be picked up at the same address.March 18, 2016 4:50 PM. We received voicemail from Samsung-Canada notifying me that a serviceman will be out to fix Microwave on March 23, 2016. March 18, 2016 6:30 PM. I called Samsung-Canada and told them again that we do not want a service call. They should pick up unit and refund the purchase price to us. [Transferred to 2nd Customer Service individual, Carlton] I told him again that we do not want a service call. Samsung should pick up unit and refund the purchase price to us. He said he noted that in my report and someone will call me on the weekend or Monday 3/21/2016. March 20, 2016 12:00 PM. Received call from Samsung-Canada [Andre] from Executive Customer Relations Department I told him again that this unit is a Out-of-Box failure. We do not want it repaired. We will no longer have a microwave in our house. Pick up unit and refund purchased price. Andre said a serviceman needs to evaluate unit and determine that if it is repairable or defective. I told him, It started a fire, its defective. March 22, 2016 - Samsung sent a Technician from Local Appliance Service to evaluated. He said it was the magnetron and the unit should be junked. Unit was taken to shop for complete review & evaluation. April 4, 2016 - Called Local Appliance Service to request status on Microwave. Lady said she believed it was finished and that she would call me back. Received call back and set up delivery for Wednesday April 6, 2016. (Samsung decided to repair unit).April 4, 2016 - Received call from Samsung-Los Angeles 310-669-4261, she asked about a schedule change to Saturday. I told her that Local Appliance Service called me with a delivery date and I changed it from Tuesday to Wednesday. Then I told her we would not be using the Microwave Oven and I would search out other avenues for getting rid of this defective product. (She did not like what I was telling her and quickly ended the call.) April 6, 2016 - Local Appliance Service delivered Samsung Microwave with new Magnetron, Controller & Capacitor. Magnetron overheated and turned into an out-of-control Laser Gun packing 3,000-5,000 VDC with each Punch. CONCLUSION OF MY ESSAY: My wife and I never want this unit to be installed into any home. Reason being I know that the replacement parts were the same part numbers as the parts in the original unit and have an excellent chance of repeating history.

I just purchased all new Samsung kitchen appliances. The dishwasher was broken. It ran, but would not turn off even when I opened the door. I had to turn off circuit breaker. Called Lowes, and they replaced with a new one. They were great about it as I said I did not intend on having to pay my contractor a second time to install it, they completed the installation. Now it runs, but does not dry dishes. I purchased the rinse agent as I was advised, used it, still does not dry dishes. Today I used the sanitize option which was suggested in manual to get dishes dry...still not dry. I also have a very bad smell coming from dishwasher when there are no dirty dishes in it. It smells like garbage. So today I called Lowes and spoke to my salesman. I am NOT going to re-purchase a Samsung. He is going to have his department manager call me tomorrow. Again, I dont want to pay installation, but either way I am so disappointed. So far I am happy with refrigerator, stove, and microwave, but have only had them two weeks.

After two years, my Samsung SRS594HNSS two-door fridge started to freeze over on the left inside vent. It stopped working shortly after. I had the fridge for 2 1/2 years. When I contacted Samsung, who put me on to their agent, he installed a kit which cost me with labor $AU250. It took five weeks for the kit to come and it was over two months before the job was done. The fridge is now freezing over again. Samsung said it was out of warranty. I told Samsung that no one would buy an expensive fridge that would only last 2 1/2 years. It has been four months now since I contacted Samsung and their agent and the fridge is now 2 years and ten months old. I rang Samsung and they said the kit was under warranty and to call their agent again. The agent wants to charge me all over again for the labor. The agent for Samsung said that he had installed lots of these kits and never had any trouble, which makes me think it is a fault in the fridge. Samsung said it wasnt. Why the kit then? The complaints department staff were courteous and helpful. I realize it is not their fault, but a company policy. I had to buy another fridge during the hot Australian summer while waiting for the repair to be done. I am disappointed with Samsung as I have bought their products before including an expensive washing machine. I wont be buying any Samsung products from now on if they dont do the right thing by me.

I will also add that there is a crack in the plastic in the area where the two top doors meet. Can find no cause for this other than poor quality. The issues were the vent blocked so cant breathe. This happened till the entire inside back panel was replaced- build up of frost in freezer told door didnt close properly the- that the ref wasnt balanced enough somewhere. There is a list of excuses. Bottom line Samsung knew of the issue. Just read the booklet that comes with the product and the number of times they mention water build up. Its cheaper for them to rewrite the book than correct the problem.UPDATE ON 05/28/2018: Its near the end of the 5 year service contract - the same problems have never been removed - tipping back replacing fan - wires - back panel etc. The service was here twice this month. Called today. Went through all the repairs for same issue. Sabrina said she would put me on hold then came back. Said she couldnt hear me and hung up -- I called back. Went over everything again with a man this time. He informed me that the tech had to come to repair and if the tech felt it couldnt be fixed then they would replace. Was told I could file a replacement for lost food. I have had it with stalling the ice and water in the veg containers has gone on from the time I bought the thing to present and its still not fixed. Still filling with water ice and rotting the food and now I am told that the tech must attempt to fix the problem before they will replace it. Am fed up with Sears Samsung and the quality of home appliances - doesnt even rate one star. Would rate it a minus if I could so its one star and thats even too much.

It looks very nice and all features are wonderful. But every month the tube that goes to the ice maker would freeze and everything around and the inside top of the refrigerator had ice. They kept telling me I don’t push in the ice bucket all the way but I had never taken it out. Finally I had to take it out because every week it would do it I had to take a blow dryer and fix it myself. Thank goodness I don’t have that fridge anymore and got an LG.

I have had my refrigerator for just over four years and luckily only serviced once. I only purchased a four year warranty (Lowes) unfortunately and now my ice button does not work. I also do not have all the door shelves having the first one break within 6 months of purchase. It looks as if this product is a piece of crap and my money would be better spent in saving for a replacement.

We purchased a Samsung elec. range (FTQ353IWUX) in 2009/2010 from Best Buy with an extended warranty. Within the first year, the oven would initially come up to temp. but not hold that temp. and actually begin to fall off. Best Buy had a Geek Squad rep come out. He changed $400 in parts without fixing the problem. When, at my recommendation, he finally began to do some troubleshooting, we found that one of the wires to the baking element had burned off. He cut back the wire and installed a new terminal lug. As of this week, the same old problem surfaced. Being that the unit is now out of warranty, and me being a retired industrial electrician, I shut off the supply power and opened up the back of the range. I found that not only had the same wire burned off its terminal lug but additionally, the two power wires that feed the broiler element had burned up as well.I called Samsung today. I was told that since it is out of warranty, it is basically my problem even though this very same issue occurred while it was under warranty. They offered to have a service co. come out and look at the unit, at my cost. Right. Thank you so much Samsung, for nothing. I explained to the Samsung rep that with these wires being burned up, there were only a limited number of possibilities as to the cause including undersized wiring, undersized terminal lugs, and/or poor crimp connections. Her response was only that it was out of warranty. I expressed my concern that this was a safety issue but that too seemed to fall on deaf ears. Wow. This company really sucks!!

Samsung is giving me the royal run-around in trying to: * get a 3rd new replacement refrigerator. I bought a 5-year warranty from Home Depot, where I originally bought this refrigerator on 7/15/13; it arrived damaged out of the box; the 2nd refrigerator, which is sitting in my kitchen, wont make ice and the temp in the fridge doesnt get above 54.6 (so all food has spoiled!)* get my current fridge repaired -- TO NO AVAIL! I have called and spoken with 6 different Samsung reps -- one told me parts were on order from Via Appliance; another said well have to refund your money for the fridge but wont refund my $ for the 5-year warranty (I have to deal w/ Home Depot for that!), and yet another said they couldnt help me -- I have to contact their external affairs dept. but refused to give me a phone number. It seems the ONLY appliance repair company that Samsung has under contract in Northern Virginia is so backed up with Samsung refrigerator repairs from customers that theyre refusing to take new service requests from Samsung. There seem to be so many problems with these refrigerators that appliance repair shops are REFUSING to repair them -- even when NEW and even when THEYRE under contract with Samsung. Unbelievable!!! STAY AWAY FROM SAMSUNG REFRIGERATORS!!! Theyre not only a piece of junk, their customer service is non-existent!

My elderly parents bought this refrigerator and after thirteen months began having issues. They would send someone out but it would be 2 weeks. I told them of their health issues, my dad is a heart patient and diabetic and we really needed something pretty quick. I was also told from customer service you should always have a back up refrigerator. I asked, Who could afford two refrigerators, and where would you put two? The tone got worse and then I was just pretty much angered with his non-caring attitude. Not to mention that only very few technicians are certified to do a service call. I called Sears and they generously offered 3 days sooner. Very honest and tried to offer other options to try such as unplugging the unit for 2 days in case it had froze up, before spending money my parents did not have on their fixed income. We were never told to try anything from Samsung, to maybe save the expense to a sick, elderly couple. I was told that the minimum amount would be around $685.00 for the visit. Needless to say, we took his advice to unplug the unit for 2 days then restart. At least Sears tried to offer an alternative for us. Have lost food/beverages twice, still no refrigerator/ice maker, etc. Enough air flowing to not be eligible for warranty for a big part such as compressor, etc. Will probably be replaced ASAP b/c that is more than half the price it cost to begin with. After two weeks, they are living from a dorm size refrigerator and a Yeti cooler for ice. With their customer service, me along with my parents are done with Samsung. Sad to say on reviews on this particular type, they are messing up at about the 13-month mark. There is no excuse for a nice, new refrigerator to tear up with barely over a year of use. Never again! Very frustrated, not to mention the anguish my parents are going through. When you buy something that expensive, you expect it to last a while. I have had my Kenmore side-by-side for almost 20 years so we have learned a lesson. But the main lesson is all about the attitude you give the person on the other end of that phone. Try to be a little sympathetic to an elderly persons situation Samsung! Going to try to find another one after their check comes the first of the month. Another several days.

We chose this particular stove because of the large cook top surface with clean edges. We have also enjoyed using the built in air fryer on numerous occasions now and LOVE it!!! We are able to cook and entire meal on it with left overs! The controls are easy to understand for the cooktop and oven. If you are in the market for a new stove, you cant go wrong with this one.... At the moment, our house is fully stocked with Samsung stainless steel appliances from top to bottom. Dishwasher, microwave, freerange oven, refrigerator, TVs, etc. You name it, we bought into the Samsung brand due to the tech features and the sleek designs, but we regret every single decision we made when buying the Samsung brand. Never have we ever had such an awful experience with EVERY single product from a single brand than with Samsung. Ill keep this review narrowed in focus to just the Samsung freerange oven, but I do want to provide some details around the numerous and frequent issues weve had with every other Samsung appliance we own.First off, some background, we usually buy our appliances from Lowes due to the proximity to our home and the frequent sales they offer. We started to renovate our house a few years ago and began purchasing new appliances at that time. From the start we had problems. First, we purchased a new Samsung waterwall dishwasher and within the first year, we had to repair a plastic motor part that drained water after the wash cycle. We decided to not purchase the Lowes warranty at the time (regrettably) and I was forced to watch a YouTube video of a guy taking the motor apart and using epoxy to repair a cheapo plastic part that was seemingly critical to the machines functionality. Next up was the Samsung microwave, which after 6 months had the motherboard supporting the dials blow out. It literally just stopped working, without warning or without an obvious cause. Luckily, this was within warranty and a new board was mailed to us, which solved the problem. Fast forward 3 years (which seems to be the magic timeframe for ALL Samsung appliances to crap out), were now having the exact same issue. So, outside of warranty, we need to figure out whether to fix or replace this crappy Samsung microwave. Next up we have the Samsung smart 55 LED TV. We bought this at Best Buy on a Black Friday deal 3 years ago and it was great...until it wasnt. No warning, it worked one day and then it didnt. Looked up all the DIY fixes and replaced the power board, no luck. It was JUST outside warranty and we know face the decision to pay more to fix it or just change to a new, different brand, TV. UGH!Now, to the Samsung freerange oven. To start, we are very, VERY, fortunate to not have had our house burn to the ground due to this incredibly dangerous and absolutely awful appliance from catching fire....TWICE! Some details, again, we bought our Samsung freerange range oven, Model NE597R0ABSR/AA, Serial Number J0V27DCC501158V, from Lowes back in 2019. We had a very old oven that just wasnt cutting it and we did quite a bit of research before purchasing this oven. We felt at the time that Samsung had very good reviews, despite some of their newer lines of appliances being out for a short period of time. We take the plunge and the experience of having it delivered and installed was great. Not more than 2 years of having the oven we had our first of two awful experiences with the oven. I cook for a family of 6 about 5-6 times a week, using 3 of the 4 range top burners and the oven at the same time. Thats a lot of cooking on a regular basis, so when we were simply cooking on 2 burners without using the oven and we saw FLAMES coming from the back of the oven, we were blown away. And terrified! We immediately turned the burner, got the fire extinguisher ready and shut off the main breaker to the kitchen. The flames subsided but the smoke was still billowing out of the back of the oven and the fire detectors went crazy. As we pulled the oven out from the wall (and took off the food, which eventually spoiled) we could see where the smoke was coming from. We unplugged the oven and took off the panel and the entire motherboard was melted....it was like someone doused it with gasoline and set it on fire. Our oven was ruined and the wall behind the oven was charred. Long story short, we filed a claim with Samsung and despite our oven being out of warranty for just a few months, they sent out techs (who didnt speak English) to replace the motherboard and it worked once again. We were pretty shaken from the experience and were hesitant using the oven or range with any level of intensity, but over time we began to use it normally. Not 10 months later, we were making dinner just like we always did (the night before Thanksgiving, nonetheless) and THE SAME THING HAPPENED, but on a different place on the the oven. We heard a POP, and the back of the oven started smoking and there were flames. Then the oven shut off. Once again, we turned off the oven, we pulled it out, we unplugged it, we removed the back panels and IT MELTED THE GODDAMN WIRES!This was the last straw. Samsung appliances have been nothing but an absolute disaster and even with warranties, they seem to stop working/break/catch fire/etc just days or weeks or months past the warranty timeframes. Samsung makes appliances and products that look great, but my god they are absolute trash. We are now in the process of replacing every Samsung product in our house to prevent a disaster in our home. Do your research, buy what you can afford, but please, do not buy Samsung. Its garbage.

Our Samsung microwave died on Thanksgiving day. Christmas has come and gone
Our Samsung microwave died on Thanksgiving day. Christmas has come and gone and we still do not have a working microwave. We have talked to Samsung at 800-726-7864 multiple times to get it fixed. We had their service vendor come to our house multiple times. We were told that the magnetron was under the 10 year warranty by Samsung and should be provided by Samsung to the repair vendor. Then we would be responsible for the labor only for $89. Each time the vendor came they said we were responsible for the part and all repair costs. We are now done. We will never buy a Samsung appliance again and suggest that Lowes should not sell this product either. Incidentally, our microwave was 3 years old.

We installed a Samsung SMH9187 over cook top microwave in August 2009. I liked the 5 speed fan. The low speed was quieter than others at low speed. Controls stopped working August 2012 so I replaced membrane touch pad - a 3 year life. Now May 2013 (0.75 years later) and no response from touch pad. I just solved the problem. The problem of lack of response to control pad (a membrane switch) was to separate two sections of the control pad cable. The membrane switch type control panel was a film cable that connects to the circuit board. A 7-wire piece folds back on the cable, causing confusion for the control system on the PC board. The solution was to insert a small rolled up paper tube to separate the two cable sections. To test this I removed the paper tube and clipped the cable pieces tightly together. The controls became unresponsive. Separating the cable sections again restored function. This is a quirk in the Samsung design. It may have been unnecessary to replace the first membrane switch ($19). When the new switch was installed, by chance the two cable pieces were separated just enough to work. Then over time they moved together, initially causing some problems, then later total non-function. This problem may cause one to push hard on the buttons to make it work, possibly damaging the switch.Step by Step Instructions: 1. Unplug microwave for safety; 2. Remove 2 vent cover retaining screws from top front of microwave; 3. Push vent cover left to unhook and remove; 4. Remove screw on top of control panel box; 5. Push control panel box up to unhook and remove. No need to disconnect anything; 6. Insert a rolled up tube of paper 2 to 3 between folded back 7-connector piece and the main cable; 7. Re-install control box and test. Then re-install vent cover.Im amazed at all these problems people are having. One would think Samsung would help, but it seems they hide behind warranty is up so call a repairperson. Our last phone purchase was Nokia, not a Samsung, as I have lost faith in the brand.

I purchased a Samsung dishwasher in Jan 2014 model #DW80F600UTB/Aa - Do not buy this!!! First off it never dried the dishes then approx 6 month later it would stop in mid cycle blinking lights on panel. After a long hard researching & calling Samsung I was told the issue was the turbidity sensor, I replaced that & it worked for about 3 months. Then it started the same thing, now I am told its the main control panel.. (no I did not get extended warranty). I just got that part but unfortunately the part was bad so I have to send it back for a new one. The bottom line - do not buy this dishwasher. Its horrible. You should stick with G.E. - at least they stand behind their products.

I bought a brand new Samsung refrigerator 4 years ago and have had nothing but trouble with the icemaker. After doing a search on the Internet I found hundreds of complaints on the same issue. So I called Samsung and they sent out a technician. That technician told me it would be $1250 to fix because I was out of my one-year warranty. I would rather smash it with a hammer than pay that much for a icemaker. And I had to pay the technician $98 just to drive out here and tell me how much it would be to fix it.

I built my new home in September of 2020. I purchased new appliances the Samsung hub refrigerator as well as the black stainless steel gas duo smart oven. After having and using the stove for about 11 months I notice that there were areas where the appliance was peeling. I was confused as to why stainless steel was peeling only to find out that the black stainless steel is a layer of paint. I reached out to Samsung as well as Best Buy because I did purchase the extended warranties only to be told that this was a cosmetic issue and there was nothing that they could do about it. After being told this from both parties I was devastated. I have spent 7k on these appliances and theyre starting to look like crap. It has come to my knowledge that this is a common problem and there are a ton of consumers in the same boat as me. Samsung should be ashamed of its business practices. It is obvious that the craftsmanship of their black stainless steel is not up to par. As a consumer that works hard for my money what makes you think that I would pay so much for a product that starts to peel within a year of having it. As a consumer there was no disclosure of any indication that that could/would be the case. Otherwise I would have just opted for the regular stainless steel and not the black stainless steel. It is mind-boggling that Samsung treats their consumers this way after we send our hard-earned money to only end up with defective products that they are not willing to replace.

We bought Samsung microwave, to go along with all other Samsung appliances. We paid several hundred dollars for unit, and have been highly disappointed. Without warning, microwave stopped working entirely. We had all breakers tested to ensure the issue was in fact the microwave. Then, called Samsung Support. When we were told this wouldnt be covered by warranty *though they werent sure what the problem was, and advised we would need to schedule service. An appliance that you pay good money for, should continue working - and if it doesnt, it should be considered faulty by the manufacturer. Forgive me for not wanting to pay Samsung any more money for selling a bad product, being less than helpful, and no guarantee that even if they fix the unit, that we wont continue to have problems.Additional side notes: We used this microwave minimally, always kept it clean, and even advised Samsung Support that we just needed them to provide us a website - in order for us to refer to make the repair ourselves. Avoid the hours of wasted time if youve had your microwave over a year. And, in hopes you havent already bought a Samsung unit, read reviews of other manufacturers and the way they handle complaints, before making an investment. Had we done that, we wouldnt be shelling out hundreds of dollars for a replacement - our savings for Christmas gifts will now be covering malfunctions of something that is less than 2.5 years old. Thank you for your time.

On August 2, 2015, I opened the broiler to place a tray inside and flames shot out of it and singed face and hair. The fire department, EMT and PSEG responded to the incident. The oven was tagged defective and the gas line was shut off. I have been in constant communication with Samsung regarding the oven. I inquired about being compensated for food due to the loss of use and was told that they do not provide compensation. Last week, I was advised that they would swap out the oven. I advised them that before I would commit to this resolution, I would like to know the cause of the fire. I was informed that this information could not be released to me. As a consumer who purchased this item, was injured by it and could have received extensive damage to my house, I believe that I should be informed of the cause and/defect of the unit. My family has been greatly impacted and scarred by this incident and I believe that Samsung Executive Customer Relations representatives have not been able to rectify the situation to my satisfaction. I am currently waiting for Samsung to determine if we can have a full refund so that I can purchase an oven that is not Samsung. Will never purchase another Samsung anything. Purchased 28 cu ft refrigerator year and half ago. Problems w/ the ice maker from the day I purchased. Same as other customers - ice maker noisy and would freeze up. You call Samsung and they walk you through everything you have already done and then refer you to another number that will get back to you. When they do they leave a message to call back to the original number. Called again and was told Id be referred to an authorized repair dealer. Then notified 3 days later that there was none in my area. I did some searching and found one who stated they were. They came out the next day and found the problem (definitely Warranty) but fridge was over year old. I had been dealing with this problem since I purchased it and was told noise was normal. Took about 39 min for technician to discover the ice maker was assembled incorrectly from the factory. He reassembled it and put it back in and the ice maker has been working well (its terribly slow) for 4 days now. No knocking and loud noises. Interesting that he figured it out and Samsung didnt have a clue. Apparently they have been installed in the factory incorrectly. Ill gladly join a class action suit against them! Samsung doesnt seem to care about the consumer at all. Samsung Blue Ray DVD player just quit after approximately a year. Had been a gift from our daughter. I love the fridge when it works but am very worried reading other complaints. Ice maker was terrible until technician from Back Canyon City (small town north Phoenix) came to the rescue. We bought a Samsung dishwasher (Model # DW80K705045) in March 2017 from Lowes, after 15 years with a Bosch. Looking back now we should have done our research. We would have seen all the bad reviews. Christmas Eve the dishwasher went into failure mode. “Leak in System”. Within a few days the dishwasher worked again but 3 days later the same thing happened. It took 12 days for a repairman to come and determine the problem. We were told it would be a huge job that required a full day, the dishwasher motor would have to be rebuilt on my kitchen floor, and no guarantees that the repair would work. This repair will require my husband to take a day off from work. Fast forward to 3/20 and we still do not have the part. According to Lowe’s the part has been in for 2 weeks now and we have not been able to schedule a repair. We are unable to use a different repair company because this is the one Lowe’s contracts out to. The dishwasher can only be run with few dishes and on short cycle. We don’t know when it will go out again. Numerous calls to Lowe’s and Samsung have gone nowhere. Neither company will back up the product. Samsung will not replace the dishwasher until 2 attempts to fix it have been made. Lowes won’t offer a refund because we have to go through Warranty service for the first year of owning the product. The Warranty is through Samsung. Totally disgusted and frustrated.

We bought the model # DMT400RHW about 4 years ago. It has no buttons on the front. Just touch sensitive ones on top. Anyways we were so excited to have this dishwasher, I have two little kids (4 & 2) and they wouldnt be able to get into it, etc... However, my family and kids started getting sick a lot more than normal. I took my kids to a homeopathic doctor and discovered my son has an extreme issue with mold and allergies. He was allergic to penicillin, etc... Well, we also noticed the dishwasher didnt smell quite right after using it and couldnt figure out what the deal was. It looked clean inside. I bought dishwasher cleaners and ran those through it. It still smelled. Everyone kept asking us if we had mold in our house that might be making us sick. I scoured the house and could find nothing. Then, I was emptying the dishwasher a couple weeks ago and noticed that there was a bit of black stuff at the bottom of the front door coming out from under the seal. I got a paper towel and when I ran it under the seal and it came away black with mold and smelled like vomit. All this time Ive been washing dishes with that junk! No wonder my family has been so sick! I called the company customer service and they said theyve never had this problem with any of their models ever. I find that hard to believe! My husband says its a faulty design. I agree. If the seal was flush to the door no food and water could get trapped under it. Samsung said I just need to keep cleaning it with vinegar or bleach. Im sorry, but Ive never had to wipe out a dishwasher after every time I use it and I think thats ridiculous! I also dont like the fact that I cannot just do a rinse and dry cycle on this. You have to run it through fully every time. Needless to say we will not ever buy another Samsung again. Their customer service was terrible, even when I talked to a manager. Im over it already and now Im stuck with this faulty dishwasher.:(

I bought a brand new side by side Samsung refrigerator from Home Depot 6 years ago and I have had 8 repairmen out here. This is the worst refrigerator I have ever had and I tell all my friends, relatives and neighbors do not buy this brand. I have a home warranty and they cant even figure it out. Right now I cannot get water to work so now wont make ice. Never ever ever buy a Samsung refrigerator, please.

Purchased a Samsung refrigerator RF220NCTASR/AA September 2016 In January. I experienced food poisoning and food spoilage. I bought a thermometer to check temperature and it was hovering at 42 degrees even when turned up all the way! There is no way to know how long this was going on!! Service response was terrible and I was forced to wait almost two weeks for a tech to come out and slap in a new assembly cover on Feb 1st. The next day the problem was worse. The temperature would go from 32-42 degrees in as little as 30 minutes. I still have not been able to use the refrigerator as it is unsafe and they will not come back out to service until Feb 6th. Meanwhile, I have called corporate demanding a new fridge from Samsung, hhgregg and have file complaints with the BBB, local TV stations, and newspaper.

Approximately 14 months after purchasing a Samsung french door refrigerator
Approximately 14 months after purchasing a Samsung french door refrigerator (Model #RF28HMEDBSR) the ice maker froze up and stopped working. It had to be manually defrosted (frost and ice removed). This issue occurred every 2 to 3 weeks. We trusted Samsung and did not purchase an extended warranty. A call to the service center revealed that any cost for service provided would have to be paid for by myself. A research of this equipment failure revealed hundreds, if not thousands, of similar complaints and unresolved issues. I continued to manually defrost the ice maker but the issue remained. We are now making ice cubes in ice cube trays.

It seems Samsung only makes JUNK now. My new oven will no longer heat. Error code E27. Replaced the Temp sensor and still the same error. One of the burners stays on high all the time. My new 50 Samsung TV lasted 14 months and the panel blew. Phones and washers exploding. Why would anyone buy a Samsung product? Was told Whirlpool was the best bet or LG.

Late April 2018, we were forced to replace all our appliances. We decided that we wanted the best, so we chose Samsung. We already had several Samsung cellphones so now our home was going to be all Samsung. Boy do we regret that decision. A week before Christmas 2019, both the dishwasher and washing machine stopped working. The washing machine was fixed under an extended warranty. Our dishwasher is another story. It has been 6 weeks of washing dishes by hand and lots of paper plates. The latch mechanism on the door is of such a poor design. After replacing the mechanism, the door still does not latch. Another mechanism has been ordered. We have to wait another month before we will receive the part and be put on the repair roster. Even then he cannot assure us that the same misalignment will not occur. Today has been the 3rd visit and the repairman thinks that it may not ever be possible to repair it. So now we wait for the home warranty company to decide on replacing the dishwasher.

I have had this dishwasher running now for a month. From the first load it has not washed my dishes properly. I always have food particles left on my dishes. I had a service tech come out and state, that is how Samsung dishwashers perform. You have to wash your dishes in order for it to wash the dishes. When I called Samsung to complain and verify what the tech stated, they initially told me that no pre-rinsing or pre-washing was required. But 5 minutes into the conversation, they tell me that the tech is correct, dishes must be pre-washed and pre-rinsed.The service tech had also told me that the Samsung dishwashers are notorious for leaking. He has to replace hoses and units all the time because the plastic tubing gets pin hole leaks from wear and tear off the hot water coming in and out of it. Buyer be aware! Now I go back to Home Depot and they will not return or exchange the product because it has been more than 48 hours since we have had it (but less than 90 days from purchase, and less than 30 from installation - and installation was paid for separately when we were ready to install as we were going through a kitchen renovation and needed more time for the cabinets to be completed). Reading on these Consumer Affair complaints, it looks like its time for a class action lawsuit.

Every repair lasts a month or two. I have 2 Samsungs at work - both of them have ice maker problems too. I purchased of course the expensive model DMR Samsung dishwasher. Within months, this thing was not working properly so of course my husband tried to fix it himself by cleaning it out really good, thinking the kids had just got food stuck at the bottom or something. No, not at all. This dishwasher just didnt work. Well, I call Lowes well to my surprise since I had purchased the item 07/2008 but the item was not picked up from the store until 11/2008. Since my purchase date was July, my one year warranty was already up by the time I called. I refused to call Samsung and have them come out because when I did inquire I was told it would be 65 bucks just to come out and tell me whats wrong with it. So now 3 years late, still no new dishwasher. I just have a piece of stationary sitting in my house being decoration to go with the rest of my kitchen. Thanks Samsung for such a good product and taking my 900 dollars.

I bought my Samsung oven in June 2019. I self cleaned it a year later and everything seems to be working fine. I tried to self clean this year in September and all of a sudden it stopped in just about 20 minutes, then I tried to do it again and it stopped again. I tried it the next day but the same thing happen again. I got an error code that the fans are not cooling enough. I had to wait and still waiting this day for ABT to fix the problem. The biggest problem is not that, after I self cleaned this time I got a spot inside the oven that looks like a stain but its not. I tried to clean it but its getting bigger and bigger every time I touch it. By the way this happened after the self clean because I never had it before and it looks like as of the paint is starting to peel. The second problem that I have encountered with this range is that ever since I started using the middle burner, the paint started to peel around it as well. Just a reminder this is only 2 years old range.I called Samsung twice and they promised me that someone will come out to help me with the problem. They gave me one time complimentary warranty since the manufacturer warranty is only for 1 year. I also had to tell the customer service people that if there is nothing that they can do about it, dont waste my time and send someone here, and the guy told me, NO. They will be able to help you. A tech came out and looked at it and then he had to call his boss and show him what was happing to our oven and top of the stove, then guess what he tells me? I am sorry, but this is cosmetic and its not covered, and thats what I didnt want to hear. I was so frustrated, and pissed off. What a waste of my time.I called the customer service and the lady told me that she is sorry that this had happen to me and there is nothing anybody can do for me at this time. I have never in my life had such an experience, and had to write a bad review about any company. I used to think Samsung was good, not anymore. I dont recommend it for anyone to buy it. I wish I had done some research before buying.

I bought Samsung model SFR528DSIS in Sep 2010. It started giving problems after two years. Water and ice started collecting in and under the crisper trays. It was repaired by Samsung as the fridge was under the manufacturer warranty and their own technician told that this issue is common with this model. The next year the same problem came again but luckily I had bought an extended warranty and so it was repaired. But unfortunately, it did not last long and the problem occurred again. I contacted Samsung but I was told off so ruthlessly that I will never dare to contact them and feel insulted. I spent $2,000 with the expectation to keep this fridge for long but now I expect to spend big money on repairs if I wanted to keep it.

I have the same thing that happened to other Samsung owners in the reviews. We bought a Samsung dishwasher a year ago at Home Depot. As soon as it was hooked up, it wouldnt work. Samsung called in a repairman and he said it was fixed. But dishwasher comes on automatically on the heavy cycle and does a dry run but doesnt shut off. Called in another repair man for the same problem and he said this is happening a lot. He put on three new parts. Washer worked for five days. Woke up one night and heavy load running on a dry cycle again with no load of dishes inside, always have to turn off breaker. Have to call repair man in again. Called Samsung number and always put in hold. This time for over 45 minutes until a guy told me that not many workers there on Friday afternoon. If they have that many complaints coming in, then must be something wrong with the company. I would suggest before you buy, call any appliance call the companys 800 number. If put on hold for a long time, dont buy that appliance. What do I want... A new dishwasher and cost to install and a staff available to customers to listen To all of us with complaints. If I bought a new car and it broke it would be fixed. If I buy a new appliance and it doesnt work as soon as I buy it... Well what would be a reasonable answer? Please need help!

It seems that most consumers are having issues with the ice makers, as well as myself. Within a few months after purchasing the Samsung refrigerator, the ice maker was not working properly and it is now not working at all. I paid $2,400 for this refrigerator. Beware > The drawers only pull out halfway making it inconvenient to put items in them and even more difficult to get items out. For example: a head of cabbage will not fit in a drawer. Beware of scraping your hand when removing items from the half open drawers. Ice maker malfunctions regularly: after dropping ice out of the ice dispenser and releasing the control, the dispenser door does not close fully, allowing warm air to infiltrate the ice storage compartment, thereby allowing ice to melt. The ice mechanism re-freezes the melting ice cubes remaining in the opening and in the storage compartment into a clump, preventing the further operation of the system. All frozen shut. Solution is: 1) empty the entire freezer and defrost for a few hours so the ice compartment can be removed, cleared of remaining water and restarted. 2) A service professional has to take apart the frozen mechanism and repair the defective parts. $$. Never again. P.S. Our Samsung printer/copier was also the worst. After the warranty expired it also malfunctioned requiring professional service. Also poor quality.

Major problems with Samsung range model NE59J7750WS/AC Duo-Flex - If this r
Major problems with Samsung range model NE59J7750WS/AC Duo-Flex - If this range is working up to the specifications of the manufacturers design then that design is flawed. One flaw is that there are no vent openings in the bottom of the oven to allow for heat transfer. Vents that would mean the oven could come up to temperature in 10 minutes rather than the 30 to 45 minutes this lemon takes. Other brands that we have since been looking at have these vent slits. It may be more convenient for Ms Consumer to clean a range with a hidden bottom element but if by hiding it you restrict the heat flow, what good is it?Another flaw is that the sensor tells the temperature display 365 and beeps to say it is ready to bake when the oven is only at 225, 365 is still 30 to 45 minutes away. Why was this range designed to do this? To impress the EnerGuide inspector with how quickly it reaches temperature? Can you say Volkswagen?? A third flaw is that there is no consistency in the final temperature reached. Set it for 365 and it may only go up to 345, next time it might go to 385 (as it did when Sears repairman Ken was here. He said he could fix that problem, I said why bother, last time it only went to 345, if you drop it by 20 it could just go to 325.)A fourth flaw is the variation of oven temperature within one baking session. The last time we baked (was the LAST time as we wont try again) it took 38 minutes to get up to 365. We put in a sheet of cookies and 12 minutes later they were done to perfection (the two on the right). The second sheet of the same cookie batch went in just as the first was taken out, when checked 8 minutes later they were already burnt. Usually, when you open the oven door to take something out and then put something in the temperature drops, in this case it must have risen substantially to burn the cookies in 8 minutes. There is no rhyme nor reason for the temperature variations with this thing. You say There is no repair solution that can be attempted by our technicians as after multiple visits we have not detected any fault with the unit. That is not true. Your guy Ken can attest to the fact that it took 45 minutes to get up to temperature and that the final temperature was 20 degrees higher than the setting. He wasnt here when it only went to 345, he hasnt been here when the wild fluctuations have occurred. Have him spend a day here checking it out, hell tell you whats what. Better yet have him take it home and make HIS wife try to use it! We arent going to anymore! For more than 45 years we have put our faith in Sears and Sears products. Now, at the first instance of a problem Sears has failed us. Well see if a media investigative reporter will be interested in this matter as we have had no luck getting Samsung or Sears to see reason. CBC, CTV & Global for a start.

Aside from plastic being left under all seals when delivered and being very noisy, the bottom of the freezer has to be defrosted every few weeks when a sheet of ice builds up under the drawers. After a few weeks water slides down the ice floe and leaks onto the floor. We have tile and when its wet it becomes very slippery. Weve complained but finally gave up but this morning my husband slipped on the wet tile. This is a design flaw or defect but it is out of warranty. We purchased a Samsung refrigerator Model 3 RF217ACWP/XAA in November 2013 from Best Buy. 7 months after purchase the crisper drawers began filling up with several inches of water. We called for service and were told not to put food close to the back wall of the refrigerator. We complied (although that certainly reduced the interior space to less than what we thought we were purchasing). Within a few more months, the problem occurred again with water pooling underneath the crisper drawers and inside the left crisper. A second call went out. We expressed concern that this was a recurring problem and our one-year manufacturers warranty was up in November 2014. A Samsung representative suggested we purchase the extended warranty to cover future repairs on the defective refrigerator that Samsung sold us! Today we emptied 10 cups of water from underneath the crisper drawers. I have had it. I will never, ever, ever purchase ANYTHING manufactured by Samsung. The only thing worse than the quality of this refrigerator is the lack of any effective service. My next stop is small claims court unless they take this piece of junk back and return my money!!!!

My husband and I purchased a Samsung 4 door model refrigerator Model RF2339
My husband and I purchased a Samsung 4 door model refrigerator Model RF2339011SR/AA from our local store in November 2016 at a cost of well over $2,000. We paid a premium price because of the unique styling and because we have several other Samsung appliances in our home and because we’ve had no issues with them. This has certainly not been the case with this refrigerator.I. Several months after our purchase we called Samsung regarding a leveling leg for the front of the refrigerator that had broken and some additional plastic door adjustment snap rings so that we could level one door that was slightly lower than its mate. This simple request took multiple calls with us being passed from person after person and department to department and being told, ridiculously, that a technician would have to come to our home install the leveling foot and snap rings. This was finally resolved however, and we were sent the parts. II. About 2 ½ years after our purchase, We contacted Samsung because of an ongoing problem we were experiencing with the ice maker – ice freezing up in and around the tray and blocking the entire ice maker unit up with ice. After 2 weeks of multiple calls and disconnected phone calls, Samsung agreed to a one time “warranty extension” as long as we could find a local repair person and pay him in advance after which Samsung would reimburse us. We did this and we still have an ice maker that freezes up. We have to keep it turned off and only turn it on when we need to refill a bag of ice. This is the number of people we had to speak to in that instance, and the names they gave: Samantha Julisa Juan Roy Andelo Shamia Stacy Christina Kimberly Maria Natasha Alexis Louise TayahanaThat’s 14 different people and again, the icemaker still freezes up.III. Now we have a new problem. On December 22, 2020, we called Samsung regarding the clear finish, or fingerprint coating, separating from the stainless material on the bottom left freezer door. It is very noticeable and looks like a stain on the door. We spoke with someone named Garrett, who, after a 45 minute conversation finally said that he would escalate the issue and asked that we send photographs to efax@sea.samsung.com with the ticket number of ** noted in the subject line, which we did. We were told that we would hear back from Samsung in 3 to 5 days. Not hearing from Samsung, we called on December 31, 6 business days later, and spoke with Hassie who again “could do nothing” but would transfer us to a supervisor, but the wait time was 1 ½ hours. We opted for a callback which happened about an hour later. We spoke with Delson this time, a “case manager” he said. Despite my insistence that this was an obvious manufacturing defect that caused the finish to separate from the substrate, the only point he could relay was that it was “Cosmetic Damage” which was not covered by warranty and that he “could do nothing to help us”. We asked to speak to a supervisor and were told that one would call us within 48 hours. Of course by this time we didn’t really expect that to happen, but we waited until January 8, 2021 to call Samsung yet again and this time spoke with someone named Damascus who again said he would try to get our claim escalated to manager level. After he tried to contact one for 8 to 10 minutes, he informed us that the wait time would be 2 hours and 10 minutes and we would get a call back, which we did, this time from Pamala who was insistent that nothing could be done.Taking a break in the narrative here, please understand that all along we have only been requesting that Samsung replace the defective door which I was more than willing to install. You only had to send a door, which I expect would have been less than $100.00 your cost, to alleviate the defect and make the customer happy. At every phone call we had to go over the entire situation again wasting anywhere from 10 to 45 minutes per call, not including wait times, to actually speak to a person. It continues, on January 15, 2021 we called again and spoke to someone named Wisvert, same thing all over again, a case manager would call us next week with answer. Nothing. On January 22 not hearing from Samsung, we called again, this time speaking with Kendra who forwarded us to Selanda. We thought we were getting somewhere now. She told us we would have to pay a technician to come to the home to determine that it was a manufacturing defect and then Samsung would replace the part only, not the labor. When I reminded her that we had sent pictures that Samsung technicians could look at to determine that it was a manufacturing defect, she said there were no pictures. That was upsetting to us after the time and effort we went through to provide them as requested. When I asked her to put in writing via email that Samsung would replace the part if a repair technician found that it was a manufacturing defect we were strangely and abruptly disconnected! No call back either, On January 24, a Sunday morning, we were surprised to receive a call from Samsung Electronics Exchange and Refund Department, a Marcos, who called to inform us that there were no options and that they could not take care of this defect. Please note that this defect of the finish separating from the substrate is not due to any harsh treatment from us and that we offered to install the door only asking Samsung to provide the replacement part. The terrible service that we have received from Samsung’s “customer service” is beyond belief. The repeated passing from person to another person, the long wait times, the limited language skills making it hard to communicate, and the continuous offers to call back that don’t happen, all appear to be a tactic on Samsung’s part to discourage customers from pursuing remedies to problems with its products. It turns out that our experience is not unusual for Samsung. According to the Better Business Bureau as of this date, it has fielded 20,375 complaints in 3 years and over 1000 reviewers have rated Samsung a 1.02 out of a 5 stat rating. What a shameful record for a company. You have lost us, a valuable repeat customer, over this lack of customer service, we will advise friends and family not to expect any customer service from Samsung if they purchase a Samsung product and we will be placing our comments and this narrative regarding these issues everywhere applicable online. Please, in the spirit of truthfulness, delete all claims of the importance of customer service from your advertising and phone messages as we have never experienced any caring customer service from your representatives. We’ve never been so disappointed in a company.

The worst stove/oven we ever owned. Purchased new fridge and stove, both Samsung and stainless steel. The range is NE595R0AB series. When water boils over, it stains. The oven has never worked well (convection or not), same batch of cookies but one tray might be done but 8 min later next is burnt or rare, hotter one side of even to other. Now the oven isnt working at all. In the short time since we bought these we are so unhappy, we cant believe how poor the quality is. Even the fridge, with the stainless steel. Just try to keep the stains from the fridge! It has stains from the cleaner. We hate them both and feel so ripped off. Wished we had read some of these prior.

Had it only 2 years and its already broken. It stopped cooling the refrigerator side. Stays at about 60 degrees. The error code stated the fan had an issue. Sure enough it was iced up. Called a tech to take a look. He said at first the issue was with the drain. Since the water wasnt draining then everything would ice up. He said he fixed that, and later it iced up again. Then the issue was with Freon leaking.

To All Folks out there! DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG APPLIANCES!!!! They SUCK and the worse customer services! These people do not give a big **... (Pardon my French.) Since August were been waiting for Samsung refrigerator. Now is October and it’s been 4th time they delivered damaged refrigerator. We went through Hell and no one could help... All they can say is sorry and here is the number to call. You call the number they give and it’s all over again, call this number or that number and NOTHING was solved. Looks like this company only cares how to put thousands and thousands $$$$$ in their pockets only. They don’t care about customers and how to treat them right! Something needs to be done with this company ** people. Please guys do not waste your time, nerves and your money! Samsung will go out of business at one point if they continue screwing their customers.

The microwave works adequately though Im not thrilled that I have to press 1 0 0 rather than 1 for one minute, etc. Sometimes the reheat works great and other times the food is just lukewarm. This microwave was on sale so I cant complain.

Our new Samsung appliances were installed in mid February. I immediately noticed that my WaterWall dishwasher was hard to load. Prongs are short and awkward. Glasses fall over. It didnt wash dishes as well as my $500 old Whirlpool. I paid almost a grand for this one in hopes of some kind of dish washing miracle. Now it has a leak one month later. Glad I have tile flooring instead of wood. I have called Lowe’s to see what to do. Havent heard back yet. From reading other reviews, it looks like I am not fooling with this, yet I am going to return all my Samsung appliances. My mother told me to buy Whirlpool. I should have listened.

This the worst refrigerator I have ever owned and the customer service is no better. The ice maker keeps freezing up and customer service says thats unusual. Not so... read all these reviews. There needs to be a class action suit against them to either fix or replace. There doesnt seem to be a fix for it either just really poor design. What a piece of JUNK!

After 6 months of use, the finish on the stove grates is flaking off. Never seen this happen before, even on gas ranges several years old. Wish we had read others reviews on this site before purchasing.

Problems since first day... We purchased all our new appliances for our new home to be delivered Feb. 28, 2014. We are very happy with the fridge, washer, dryer. Not so happy with the over the stove microwave as it does not seem to pull in the steam at all and it goes all over the front of the cupboards and underneath as well. And steam drips down the tiled backsplash. The dishwasher is a whole other story. The young fellow brings it in and installs it. While testing it water flooded out the bottom of it. He tried several things but could not figure it out. He called his office and told them the problem and they said they would send out another dishwasher the next day. He then leaves. I go downstairs to get something from the freezer and there is water all over the floor at the bottom of the stairs. I call the store and he comes back. I asked him why he would leave when he knew there was a problem. He had forgot to connect something so he fixed it and returned the next day with another dishwasher. This is number 2... So he does all the connections and lo and behold, water comes spewing out the bottom again! He did try to conquer the problem but to no avail. He called and told the girl at the office about it and they said they would send out another one. This is all in the first week of us supposedly trying to enjoy moving into our new home. So a few days go by and along comes dishwasher number three with two fellows to install it. One does all the work while the other one just lolls around on my new engineered hardwood floor. I wanted to scream!! I was afraid by the time this was figured out I would have a whole lot of marks on the floor. They were here for over two hours and yet again it leaked. Really?? I called the appliance store and complained non-stop like a lunatic because of frustration and to get right down to it, anger. They suggested that I try to pick out a different line of dishwasher. I said I wanted the one that matched all the other appliances. Would they be willing to trade them all out? Well, of course not. So yet again along comes dishwasher number 4 with yet another installer. He installed it and did a quick test and yay! It didnt leak. The next day, water on the floor. In the meantime, I am back at work and have to arrange these visits with repairmen for before I start work at 4 in the afternoon. So, I call the appliance store and rant again. They make an appointment for me with one of the salespeople at a different location. We purchased from a large retailer on 149 Street, Edmonton. They sent us to the 47 Avenue one which is a fair distance from where we live. We went in and it seemed like the salesperson felt we were being unreasonable. I asked him if this kind of product and service would make him happy and would he like it if his time was taken up with this. Long and short, he tried to get us to change to another line and we said no. So he said he would give us $200 off. Big deal. But it was better than nothing. They said they had never had this kind of problem before, so we said lucky us, being the one off. So again back to a number of visits from a serviceman. We were told that maybe our water temperature was too high and this was causing a problem. The temperature of our water was lower than what it gets to on the sanitize cycle by 35 degrees so that seems to be a load of you know what. Then he said it was this part at the front of the dishwasher so he replaced that. Still leaking. I give up and just keep putting a dishtowel under it to catch the leaks and save the hardwood floor. Three years go by (not quite) and now besides the leak it stops draining on occasion and the OE light comes on. I call another repair place that services Samsung products. The guy comes out and says that he needs to replace a part so we do that. He sets up a test and promptly leaves. It hits the rinse cycle and water comes spewing out the bottom again but it did drain. Call them back and have to wait a couple of weeks and he comes out and did something to it and said if there were any problems to call them after Christmas because they would now be closed until after the New Year. Yay!! The third visit he comes out to repair it and now the stupid thing will not do anything. It will not fill even at the beginning to start the leaking process or the OE light to come on, just sits there. I do feel for him as he seems to be a very nice man but now he is waiting to hear back from the Samsung technical help desk to get back to him with some things to try. He tried to replace the circuit panel, but the new one did the same thing as the old. He got out some manual and tried to do some troubleshooting and nothing happened. He checked the pump but that was ok. He checked the overflow sensors and they were fine. Before he came out for the third time I ran it through five cycles. On the normal cycle it did what it was supposed to do and no leaking. Same with the Heavy cycle and Delicate. Did the Quick cycle and it leaked but it did empty. On the Pots and Pans the OE light came on and it did not drain and it leaked. After he tried all he could think to try on the last (third) visit it wont do anything but the lights do come on, just no action. I thought I could just go back to putting the towel on the floor and maybe have to try draining it manually or with some luck maybe it would work when I held down the drain button (sometimes it did and sometimes, no). So here we are with the mother of all dishwashers that looks nice but is totally useless. And I get the distinct pleasure of washing dishes. I dont mind doing that when I feel like it but not all the time because I have to. We will wait now to see if Samsung tech came up with anything for our poor repairman. If not we will ask for our money back on the repair that was useless and go buy a dishwasher from a reputable appliance store from reputable salesperson after doing a lot of research to find out what one would be the most... reputable and reliable. Because we know now for sure that it is not Samsung and we did not care for the service from the place we purchased from originally.
