Lets starts with the nice sturdy looking knobs. The inside is a piece of plastic that breaks within a month. The NX58H5600SS convection oven is worse than a normal oven and takes longer to cook food. 4 short months after the warranty was up, it starts randomly beeping and giving me a -SE- on the screen. Wont even show the time. None of the buttons work even after all the troubleshooting. Troubleshooting for this code is just push off button. Ok well the buttons dont work. So unplug for 30 seconds. Now that thats done it is still displaying the -SE-. Thanks Samsung as a service call will cost at least 300 to come fix it according to other reviews. What a piece of crap this oven is. Will never buy Samsung anything again. Not like they even care! My tv, all my phones, washers, dryers, nothing ever again! And the service call person sounded like she couldnt give 2 craps seeing as how she told me it was her Friday. Wasnt even concerned that I just spent $900 on a stove that ** the bed 16 months later!!! Bad Samsung! BAD!

In November of this year I bought a Samsung fridge side-by-side with the bottom drawer and noticed three months later that the fridge drawer was discolouring, you’re not the same colour of the stainless steel as the rest of the fridge. I called them to complain and get this fixed and they said this was a cosmetic issue and it’s not covered. All this is dealing with them is a way of them playing with words and not fulfilling their responsibilities with warranty, anything but helping a customer as what I got this is definitely not cosmetic, it is a manufactures defect but they don’t use those words. Buyer beware. I will never buy Samsung products again and neither will my family members.

Have had the dishwasher approximately 1 year. Has just recently stopped cleaning the dishes despite the extremely long wash cycle (1 1/2 hours). Horrible smell inside the dishwasher no matter if empty or filled with dishes. Has never dried my dishes. Will be purchasing a new dishwasher this week and definitely not another Samsung product. I guess I am lucky that it hasnt leaked, yet.

Dont buy a Samsung Refrigerator!!! Our Samsung has been the worst of worst. Two months after we bought a $3000.00 one the whole electric panel went out. Everything thawed out. They kept playing games about paying for the lost food. They never did reimburse us. Ours broke down 4 times in 2 years. We also had to replace both of the ice makers. One of them 3 times because the water leaks underneath it and freezes the mechanism that turns the ice out. Then when you try to get ice from the dispenser it cracks the ice maker and it has to be replaced. The water also leaks down in the inside of the refrigerator and runs under the storage bins and then on the floor when you open up the fridge. After replacing it 3 times we just dont use it.Samsung does not stand behind their products. Even though our fridge was without doubt a lemon they never replaced it. They play constant games of lost paperwork and unbelievable stalls until you just give up and pay to have it fixed yourself. The problem is they can stall forever but you cant go without a fridge. My daughter bought the same model as ours and she has had a lot of the same problems. They never fixed hers either. Never will I buy a Samsung product again!!!

Called the Samsung company on many occasions regarding the problem. The Samsung company offered me a $150.00 gift card for our troubles. Today called to follow up on the gift card NOTHING!!! They will not honor their promise of the gift card for our troubles. Worse customer service I have ever experienced. The ABSOLUTE WORSE!!! Buyer Beware after purchase they forget about you and anything to do with their product.

The first thing to go was the defrosting fan made from plastic too small to handle the big refrig French doors, that cost me $254.00. The next was the ice maker, another piece of plastic broke, another $254 to get that fixed. Now the refrig is building up ice again which means I will be defrosting my refrig with my hair dryer. I will not purchase a product made by Samsung again. One of the components went in the microwave, I only use it for defrosting and heating water, another wonderful product by Samsung. I understand from the repairman that many parts are being used in many refrigerators. I also own a stove made by Samsung. Im waiting for it to break. When that goes, Ill be buying a product American made.

October 1st XPO came to drop off long awaited refrigerator (XPO is fantastic). The refrigerator was refused due to size (too large for doorway). XPO handled it refusal wonderfully. I called Samsung immediately to make sure I received refund. To sum it up: After 22 phone calls, countless claim #s, XPO confirming they have the fridge still at warehouse. Samsung has NOT fulfilled the paperwork to recognize proper return/refusal to XPO thus 18 days later I have yet to receive my refund. This morning I was told by a Samsung supervisor we have millions of orders, it is your job to keep checking on your refund status, there is nothing I can do and hung up. Now my cc bill is up and I gotta pay for a fridge I dont have.

My husband and I purchased a Samsung French door refrigerator with the bottom freezer. This refrigerator contains two ice makers one in the refrigerator and one in the freezer. The Ice maker in the refrigerator has stopped working and I found out today that Samsung does not make the parts to repair my ice maker in the refrigerator part. I have spent almost $3000 for this refrigerator and it’s only about three years old and I am quite upset at the fact that I can’t get the parts to fix it! The model number is RF263TEAESG/AA. The part number for the ice maker is DA-97-08117B.I have spoken to Samsung directly on May 24, 2019 and spoke to Ryan and she directed me to J and J international for Samsung parts, I spoke to a woman named Dawn who looked up my part number and told me they discontinued it and I cannot get it. What am I supposed to do with my refrigerator when my ice maker doesn’t work and I’ve spent all this money on it and Samsung discontinued the part. I still had to pay the appliance guy $150 just for showing up and letting me know that he can’t get the parts. I personally feel that Samsung is putting out poor quality appliances and I will never purchase one again. I am stuck with a Samsung refrigerator that does not work properly and I would like you to contact Samsung about this problem! Sincerely, Debra **.

I had a repairman out and he said it was normal. The top oven isnt made to bake. Are you kidding??? I also purchased a Samsung refrigerator. I like the design but the Ice Maker is crap. Problems from the start and are with both ovens either separate or together
Problems from the start and are with both ovens either separate or together in convection. After 4 visits and some part changes, there is no change. I did a few extensive digital and analog temperature tests to document that: 1) The initial at temperature beep is usually close but then over time, the temp drifts down to over 100 degrees F below where it should be. 2) When I restart the oven because its too cool, the oven display confirms the low temperature I measured. 3) As the oven restart, the convection fan or fans blow such hot air the food in the middle of the oven that the food is burnt to black while food not in the center or on different racks is not burnt. 4) The restart temperature once the beep sounds is accurate. 5) The convection fans are always blowing the hottest air straight out the middle. Not circulating the air around or reversing fan direction once and a while. So a blowtorch on food in the middle of the oven. From reading web forums, cnet in particular, seems like all of these Samsung ovens do pretty much the same thing. Seems like a programming problem in the firmware. Resolution is under review by Samsung. But do I even want another fix or a replacement? No. I want a refund and Ill buy a different brand.

My microwave that I purchased in April 2011 has been giving me issues month
My microwave that I purchased in April 2011 has been giving me issues months after I purchased. The panel has been replaced about 4 or 5 times and continued to have issues like beeping for no reason, lights on and off without being touched and going out for weeks and returning back to life after weeks of not working. I have made plenty of phone calls about 40 between Samsung and their technicians with little luck. At times they closed my file just because and i would have to start the process all over again. Since my microwave has completely stopped working in August 2014 they said they would fix and came out 3 times to diagnose the same issue but never fixed it. I was told by tech he was going to order parts and be back to fix, and never did. It was a lie. They called me 3 other times after that because they wanted to diagnose it again. That makes no sense, but they claim that is the process. I complained with BBB, and Samsung now wants the original purchase receipt that I had already showed the technician in 2012. Since I dont have it they want to partially reimburse me for owning it all this time. Whos fault is that? Not mine. If Samsung would have accepted my product was defective from the beginning I would not have owned it for so long. How can the people put an end to this defective product. They should get sued or make them recall their product. I am tired of Samsung and they should be held accountable for selling faulty products.

Samsung RF-28hdedbsr - WOW! Thought I had done my due diligence before buying this refrigerator but unfortunately I never saw this site. Purchased this appliance for several thousands of dollars in May 2016 and worked fine until July 2017 when ice maker quit functioning properly. The problem is that when ice bucket was full the sensor quit telling the ice maker to stop filling the trays. It just kept filling and dumping ice until unit was so full that it froze up everything. Then like everyone else I had to use hairdryer to unthaw the ice maker compartment. This worked a couple of times but now ice maker has totally quit working. What a POS!Of course out of factory warranty and did not buy extended warranty as every GE, Kenmore, Frigidaire refrigerator I have ever purchased over the last 40 years havent had any problems. Big mistake. NEVER PURCHASE ANY SAMSUNG APPLIANCE again tv, fridge microwave etc. With so many complaints why hasnt some govt agency gotten involved or a class action lawsuit been filed to make Samsung recall or fix this problem as they are obviously selling a defective product.

I bought a 22.5 cu ft French door counter-depth (RF23HCEDBSR) in 2015 from Sears. It was first used in November 2015. $3,200 on sale for $2,778. After a little more than a year, the ice maker began freezing (an oxymoron?), requiring that I remove the ice bucket for a few to several days at a time to let the inner works thaw out. This began happening with increasing frequency. Eventually, after 2.4 years I was without ice more often than I was with ice. The Sears repair tech said that the ice maker has a number of design flaws and that Samsung requires that the ice maker be replaced. Replacement cost is $780. This is not a case of a mechanical part wearing out or going bad. This was Samsungs design flaw. A responsible company would take responsibility for the flawed product and replace it without charge. It was poor company decision making when the ice maker was designed and installed, and it is now equally poor company decision for not taking responsibility and replacing the defective product now that the defect has been discovered. Ill report the defect and Samsungs response to my State Attorney Generals consumer protection division since Samsung doesnt seem to respond to individual consumers.

Our Samsung French Door refrigerator keeps icing up under the back panel. It started happening after the four-year warranty was out. We have had it fixed repeatedly during the last year at $100 minimum each time only for the problem to return within a month. Now it is every two weeks. I bought a package deal of Samsung appliances when I moved into a new home. Fridge, Microwave, Stove and dishwasher. After 3 months the dishwasher started to leak. We had numerous service calls to fix it. It would be fixed for a short time and then leak again. At one point it quit completely. We had to shut the breaker off because it just kept flashing and beeping. Eventually they deemed it unfixable and was to issue us a check for the cost of the dishwasher in March 2017. As I was getting ready to leave my house, I heard a weird noise. So I walked over to the dishwasher, the door was slightly open, and the dishwasher had turned on all by itself. I hit the power button and it turned off for a second and turned back on. I could not get it to power off. I had to flip the breaker to this equipment. I have had to miss 3 days of work, they tell me AFTER at least a total of 5-6 hours of being on hold, or calling, that this is an extended warranty issue. They have the worst customer experience. This machine is less than 18 months old and has been serviced 3 time and still NOT working. I completely outfitted my kitchen with new, stainless (I thought!) top of the line Samsung appliances. The convection microwave oven board stopped working day one. I returned to store for completely new replacement. Within a week - the same issue. Board replaced four times. Last time just after one year. Problem continued during that time, but I couldnt miss work for repairman to come. Repair tech had said board problem caused from heat of stove. This is an above stove unit meeting all necessary height specs. As a courtesy Samsung offered $430 if I cut the cord and removed serial plate (13 months after purchase of a $700 product with $150 installation!!). I cant replace it for that amount. I also have gas convection range ($1500), the broiler doesnt work. The flames on one burner are HUGE (they licked around pan and caught dinner on fire!) And oven got so hot it MELTED the knobs - apparently they are not metal as they appear but a metal look skin that melts with heat and is also chipping off. Replacement of knobs = $150 only to have it happen again... Additionally my french door Refrigerator ($2800) with two drawers makes a super loud squealing noise. After discussing with a friend, found out she had the same problem with her Samsung appliances. DO NOT BUY!!! NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT or concern for satisfaction. My products are only 16 months old.

Samsung customer service is polite, contrite, and totally inept. I have now called 6 times to try to get burner caps (the little metal discs that go on top of the gas burner that make it work). The stove was delivered without them. The first time I called, the representative was so sorry and would send the missing parts in 2-3 weeks (!?). Meanwhile, I dont have a stove that works. I received the package after a couple of weeks and it contained 2 microwave or oven vent grates. So I called again. Representative was so sorry and would send the correct parts out in overnight express. I got the package, and it was 2 of the actual gas burners (which I already had) and the 2 larger burner caps.So now I have 2 burners that work, and 2 vent grates I dont need, and 2 gas burners that I dont need. So. I called again. Same thing. So sorry, send those right out. Never got anything. I called again. And again. And again. Seriously. Everytime I get an apology and a promise and then nothing arrives. ARGGG. How hard can it be???? And I still only have 2 working burners on a brand new range, over 4 months after installing it.

Im sorry, its not like me to even write something negative. However, my family has been poisoned because of Samsungs malfunctioning refrigerator. The digital readout is not accurate in displaying the actual temperature of the refrigerator. Bacteria starts to grow on perishables at any temperature above 40 degrees. Upon me serving food, it read 34. This was while it was under-warranty and all you did was pay for the Parts ha. Since then, this refrigerator has not worked by freezing up once a month at least for the long 6 years Ive owned it. I firmly intend on continuing to get word out regarding this as I am a very experienced enterprise digital marketer. Dont worry, Ill keep the audience within the United States. You poisoned my family, put a band-aid on a broken fridge and it never ever worked properly. Nice job Samsung. Maybe, fridges arent your thing. If you drop that product line, Samsung may even see a spike in revenue as many people and families have been poisoned in the same way and the unanimous audience of Samsung Refrigerator owners will all feel relieved.

Samsung model RF28HMEDBWW-0000. I had this fridge for 5 years 3 months. After 3 years the ice maker froze up and had to be defrosted every 2 weeks. Now the defrost fan is striking a buildup of ice in the fan area and the fridge has to be disassembled ever.

Do not buy Samsung Range/Oven. After a little over a year the top glass exploded. It damaged one of the burners. It never did heat properly from the beginning. Not only will Samsung not to do anything because it’s out of warranty but they can’t because they don’t make the parts for it anymore. The burners are no longer available and the glass top is on at least 25 day backorder. We bought a four appliance package from RC Willey’s. Microwave, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher. Microwave turns on when you when you shut the door. You have to push the stop button where it will just run all day long no matter what. Dishwasher smells foul no matter what we do. Samsung will not answer emails and their live chat stops working as soon as you describe your problem and they ignore you. Don’t buy Samsung appliances.

I LIVE in Costa Rica, & bought my first Samsung product 15 years ago---a side-by-side refrigerator came with a 3-year warranty. In slightly less than 3 years, the electronic display on the door went nuts. I had crews taking my fridge apart every week. After replacing the panel/circuit board/wiring harnesses/entire door, they gave up & gave me a new one which lasted 7 years. When my fridge died, so did my washer & I bought another Samsung side-by-side which came with a free washer. I LOVE BOTH MACHINES, which perform perfectly & am shocked to see such complaints about the company & its products.

After the first year, the fan motor started squeaking very loudly. I read online about how everyone had the same problem, so I oiled the spindle and it helped for about 3-4 months. I finally had to replace the original fan, which was a cheap, plastic model. This year, the refrigerator would not keep the food cold. I had a repairman look and he said it was either the defrost sensor, the heater or the cpu board. I started with the defrost sensor and the appliance part guy said, Samsung! Oh God, how old? Three years, well, thats about the life of that. Its done. The sensor did not fix the problem, so instead of wasting more time and money gambling on either the heater or the cpu board, I am replacing this piece of junk. Every online board says the same thing, that this is an inferior product. I spent over $1,000 on this thing and it lasted me 3 lousy years. Now, I have to spend another $1,000 on a new refrigerator. Do you think I will ever recommend any Samsung products or purchase another one again in my lifetime? I will tell everyone I know to not buy Samsung. Every piece we looked at was plastic and low cost.

Since purchasing in 2012 this refrigerator has been a constant problem. We have had to defrost the freezer 6 times due to ice buildup. And now for the second time the refrigerator is not working. The back panel freezes. The fan then breaks due to the ice buildup which causes the motor to stop. This has happened twice at a $500 cost to fix. Now in addition to the refrigerator not working there is ice building the size of a large melon in the lower right hand interior panel. We have been told this is due to bad insulation and is a product defect. We contacted customer service and they told us the repair company is not Samsung authorized. The Samsung authorized service did not return our calls for service. We have tried them again and they ask we wait 5 days before a serviceman can conduct a home visit. So we have non-working refrigerator. It has been classified as a product defect. We cannot get service. Samsung help desk is not giving us support. A Lemon!!!

The fan began making loud noises and I called a repair man assuming that it was an interior problem and would be covered by the 5 year warranty. The Samsung refrigerator model RF263BEASR is slightly over two years old. It turns out that the fan must be replaced plus the fan cover. The Samsung person said that it wasnt under warranty so I am stuck with a $390 bill. I have had Sub Zeros that have lasted years without a problem. This is a huge disappointment and I would definitely not buy another Samsung appliance.

We bought a Samsung refrigerator few years ago and since bought it the ice maker constantly freezes over and we are always having to thaw it out and we always have to do that. We werent aware when we bought it that Samsung has a lawsuit against them for the same thing about the faulty ice maker. They sent a repairman out to fix it but we are told it wont last. We want our money back. All of our appliances are Samsung because we love the brand but their refrigerator arent good. We spent a few thousand on this fridge just for us to have issues with ice maker. We want our money back. We did talk to an attorney who told us about lawsuit. We want our money back for what we paid or were getting an attorney.

We bought our dishwasher in Nov of 2013. It worked fine until June of 2016, then it would not run. I called Samsung and told them of the problem, after about one hour on the phone they said they would send a repairman from an authorized repair shop according to them. Two weeks later he came and did a evaluation of the machine and determined that the touch panel circuit board was not working and would order the part. I told him that the dishwasher was out of warranty but Samsung warranty covers the circuit boards for 5 years and we have over 2 years left. The part came to my home and I called dependable services to make arrangements to have it installed. They came out a couple of days later and replaced the new part then tried to charge me 291.65 for the part and the service call after almost a day of figuring out who was going to pay for it.Samsung agreed that it was covered. Because if I had to pay for it I was having the serviceman take it out and forget about it. For that price I could add another couple of hundred dollars and get a new one. Well the machine worked about 3 weeks doing about 15 washes and broke again. Same symptoms. I called dependable services. They came out a couple of days later. Repairman looked somewhere else on machine and decided that it was two relay switches on another circuit board that needed to be replaced. He also tried to get Samsung to replace it and their comment was, We repaired once at our cost we are not doing it twice. The price for this repair was 338.00.Needless to say it was not repaired. I will replace with another brand of dishwasher. This dishwasher replaced a ge brand that came with the new home and never had a problem with except it was noisy. Did a great job of cleaning. I just want everyone to know my problems with Samsung and let buyer beware. I will NOT be buying another Samsung appliance in the future and will tell all my family and friends my story and beg them not to purchase a Samsung appliance product.

Purchased a samsung dishwasher model dw80f600wtb. This is supposedly an $800.00 dishwasher. It worked well for about 13 months. Then I start getting error lights for no reason. Lowes wont stand behind what they sold me ($2500.00 worth of appliances) and neither will Samsung. I should have known after my Samsung clothes washer drain kept getting clogged with things and had to be cleaned out every month to the point I gave that $800 wash machine away for free. But no I didnt learn, I bought an $800.00 dishwasher that is now useless unless I want to pay upwards of $200.00 to have it fixed. I will NEVER EVER BUY ANOTHER SAMSUNG PRODUCT!

I had the same problem with my Samsung fridge. Only had it for 2 years and it kept making these loud buzzer noises like the kind you hear on a game show when you answer incorrectly. And clunking sounds - and finally the defroster iced up and we had to unplug to thaw. Then it did the same thing again 2 weeks later! Had a hard time finding a service guy to come look at it - no one wants to deal with Samsung - said they get no support. Anyway had to order a new defrost unit - it took 6 weeks - I am not kidding! They replaced it when it came in and 5 weeks later - here I am again the exact same problem! Im done with it - taking a $1,500.00 loss because cant afford to keep replacing the part. Buying an American made fridge this weekend. They make good TVs and cameras but have no clue about appliances.

Most of the time most of the dishes are clean, but coffee grounds and such are thrown up into the cups and glasses on the top rack. Stuff in the bottom is okay, as are things in that top drawer for silverware. The dishes are always rinsed off and loaded carefully. I purchased a Samsung dishwasher serial # DW80F600UTW at Home Depot in October 2013. The machine worked well until May 2015 when it began flashing an Error Code- smart auto +heavy=overfill. I contacted an approved service provider who contacted Samsung Technical Support and was informed that: a) There was a bulletin on that model regarding overfill issues. b) Three parts were required to resolve the issue. c) These parts would cost over $400. The repair technician advised me that this was a manufacturing problem and that I, as a consumer, should not have to pay the bill to have the problem repaired. I contacted Samsung and spoke with a customer service representative who referred me to the Executive Customer Relations Department who informed me that Samsung is not willing to provide the necessary parts to resolve the error code.I am not satisfied with this response. I purchased a machine that requires the parts mentioned above to work properly. I am sure it is not Samsungs policy to create machines worth several hundred dollars to only work for one year. This is not a problem created through customer use, misuse, or abuse; it is a problem created through faulty manufacturing. I am willing to pay the labor to have the machine repaired but I believe it is Samsungs responsibility to provide the necessary parts.

Samsung DW80H9930US Dishwasher. When I bought my dishwasher from Lowes two years ago, this was the Most Expensive one at that moment. After I used it for a while, it stopped working. So, I contacted Samsung and asked for the fix. I paid for it and it fixed. In my second year, one day, when I had the small kid walking around, I suddenly noticed that inside the my dishwasher got the mold so badly. I thought it might be because we used it for a while. After I tried to clean everything including the shelf itself. I thought the clean is done and everything will be good again. However, it seems that the mold is NEVER gone away. We cleaned and cleaned. After we really tired of cleaning the dishwasher, I called the customer service and the Samsung Dishwasher manager, Jack **, told me that that is the Maintenance issue. Then I asked, after I PAY for the maintenance, if the mold will go away. He said he cannot guarantee it because it is always maintenance issues. So basically saying, when we buy a dishwasher from Samsung, we have to ensure that we need to pay Maintenance fee for it or they recommended to open the dishwasher Door after the cycle is done for a hour. I did not know when I bought the dishwasher, I need to wake up at 3 in the morning to open the door for my little doggy in order to let the moisture out. Of course, they never committed that is the design defect of their machine. I am wondering if any of family members who has the dishwasher and has the mold issue should work together to sue the company as the mold is the one of most recognized factors causing Cancer. I bought so many Samsung applications when I bought my very first house but I guess it is the goodbye information to you.

The dishwasher began to have trouble one day after the warranty and Samsung would not send a technician. It would run for about 5 minutes and then stop. It wasnt draining. In the two years we have had the dishwasher it has been fixed four times. A month ago it stopped working completely. The motor is toast. We decided after putting $400 into repairs that we werent willing to put any more money into it. Today we purchased a new dishwasher and its safe to say its not a Samsung. Im completely disappointed.

My refrigerator is unsafe to rely on due to temperature irregularities caused by a defect in design that is well documented and well known by Samsung. There is already a class action lawsuit ongoing for this defect. I paid good money for a Energy Star, high quality refrigerator which I did not get. I did receive a refrigerator which causes food spoilage, does not do what it is supposed to and requires me to break ice away on a continuous basis. I require refrigerated medication to keep me alive. My disability makes breaking the ice away difficult and laborious. I bought the refrigerator from HHGregg which closed its doors. They came out twice to repair this same defect. I was not aware that the issue was a known defect until recently and I would like Samsung to be held accountable in cost for repairing this defect in their product. Samsung claims to be a company that cares. The Third party of Alorica is creating an atmosphere of deceit. I have asked for a Supervisor regarding this defect and all they send are anonymous emails with no one to contact.

The ice maker freezes and jambs up and will not make cubes or while on cube setting you get crushed ice or no ice at all. Samsung states they only have one service call on record which was Jan. 2013 - I think they make up stories. They must have a record of the service companies who replaced parts at no charge to us. Despite the bad reviews for the Samsung slide in stove, I was smitten by the good design. Moreover, online specifications (since changed by Samsung, but I still have the original) offered a broad range of heights to fit a higher counter top than average. For the last 10 months since its purchase, I kept the stove top like-new, wiping carefully with baking soda if necessary, after every use. With no apparent reason, the stove cracked in the middle and NOT EVEN when in use. It happened literally overnight. A straight crack, it was deemed a heat crack (isnt this a stove?) and the warranty covered its replacement. Still, there should be NO excuse for any product to be so shoddy. I have read about multiple cases of other cracks, some considered the consumers fault, but I doubt it. This and other appliances with absurdly short planned obsolecence should be regulated and the consumers should be better protected.

$800 Samsung dishwasher leaked within the first few months. Tech never could fully resolve the issue. We purchased the nearly $200 extended warranty because we knew it was junk. 14 months in LE code and leaking again. Call Samsung warranty dept. and they send it out for repairs. Repair company calls to verify that we know its out of warranty. We so know, its extended. They say that they dont do extended warranty work. Call Samsung back and they so, Oh, you have to call this number for extended warranty claims. I say, That is the very number I called and go you. They transfer me and I give them all of the data again (model number, warranty number, etc.) This person says, Oh, you need extended warranty and proceeds to give me the number I first called.I called the number that apparently sends you to a bunch of sadists claiming to be Samsung and give them the whole spiel again. They ask for all of the data again and then to my horror tell me to call the same number I used to call them again. Finally after much pleading they say they made an appointment with a service company. One day later service company calls to verify that this is a non-warranty service call. Very nice lady at service company says that this literally happens all day with Samsung and that shes very sorry, but doubts they will ever send over the proper reference number for it to be covered under its extended warranty.I call Samsung again and explain the situation and I swear on the entire universe they tell me once again that I must call the very number I just called to be currently speaking to them. They then give me the standard warranty number that they had given me previously and was then told by them to call the number I had just used once again. I finally get a supervisor and beg them just to admit that they are going to scam me until Ive gone crazy and to please, as another human being just admit it so I can move on and just write off the $1000 as a lesson learned.Nope, this physical manifestation of evil known as the Samsung CSR Supervisor then proceeds to tell me that they are giving me the Top Secret number that will literally get people jumping on my warranty needs. I believe this is the number Obama would call should his dishwasher quit working. I kid you not, he reads off the exact same 800 number I used to call them all of the times in the past. I had no response as I believe I had a small aneurysm and fell to the floor.I keep the evil little stainless steel monster in the garage for the day that I see Samsung have an event at Lowes or Best Buy with reps in attendance in their bright blue Samsung Polos. I bought Samsung dishwasher, Model# DWF600UTW/AA. While still it is under warranty service, there was a problem with run ending in the middle and light started flashing. I called for service. The service person pulled out the dishwasher, and pushed it back very hard. When he left, I started the run, and dishwasher leaked all over and water puddled in the basement. There was not just the damage in the basement, but I had to re-install the dishwasher again with my own money. I never had leak before, the service person caused it, and Samsung doesnt want to pay the damages. The standard answer is, warranty is on the equipment parts and not the installation. Although their service person caused it! Another thing, if there is a damage-claim, Samsung transfers you to corporate affairs. They make you wait on the phone for hours! I strongly will advice anyone, not to buy their equipment, because if something goes wrong, this company doesnt take the responsibility. Neither they have a good warranty service.

Ive owned the Samsung Fridge for 28 months and noticed that items in the freezer were thawing out. Called Samsung was given their authorized repair shop. 3 business day wait (Do they have a lot of work?). The coolant chemical Freon was leaking. I tell Samsung this is not normal and they say Well its past warranty so you are on your own. Over $1,000 to repair to the fridge is basically worthless. No sense repairing the existing piece of garbage so I will buy a new one. NEVER NEVER NEVER buy a Samsung. Quality is poor and they will NOT back you up when this problem occurs.

Second time I have had a problem with the microwave. Fan runs non-stop and will not heat anything. Samsung will not do anything. They only offered a protection plan that costs more than the microwave did new. I purchased an entire suite of Samsung appliances when I moved into my new home. Have had problems with all four of them. I will never buy another Samsung product again. I work in a Day Spa that has over 300 clients through it in a week and I will make sure everyone knows about the issues I have had with Samsung products. I have a daughter that is an Interior Designer and she will never recommend the products again. My other daughter is a Realtor and she will be informing all her clients of my problems. My new mission in life is to make sure everyone know what poor quality Samsung has in service and products. If you read this PLEASE do not make my mistake. I took the extended warranty on the big four door fridge. The ice maker freezes up every two months even with biweekly cleaning. Takes the company at least three (3) weeks to get here to repair it. The only answer is to not buy this product. Friends dont let friends buy Samsung. Dont buy Samsung!!!

Alluded to this in my earlier rating of the refrigerator product. More specifically, the induction stove is also a hit and miss item. We have purchased VERY high end cookware and find that some cookware works on some of the burners, but it is very hit and miss. We waited until our one year Samsung warranty expired so we dont have to work with their ponderous/painful/frustrating warranty department, and now will work with the extended warranty we purchased from a reputable retailer to see how that works. Again... if its a Samsung my advice is to run. Pick a different deal. These are poor products with extremely bad service.

Just reached the 6th year of owning our Samsung Side by Side Refrigerator RM257ABSH which we paid nearly $3000. A&E (Sears) is the only repair option... I called every repair place and also asked for referrals to repair people they knew. The A&E repairman that found the leak in our coil was very knowledgeable, but the coil I paid for never came in. The appointment date came and went with no phone call. I called A&E, three or four times before I found out that their parts source no longer carries the coil and they had move my appoint from the 6th to the 20th of February. I called Samsung, since my fridge at this point has been down for 4 weeks and was given Customer Relations... after four business days of going back and forth between A&E and Samsung, I was told that the coil is no longer available and they would have to buy back my fridge. The A&E repairman during the service call told me coils are the most common problem with refrigerators... which means that when you buy an expensive refrigerator from Samsung, you cant count on them keeping parts past the 5 year warranty. The Customer Relations person told me it was past its 5 year warranty point that they carry parts. They offered me a buy back that is reduced by 10% per year. I could have fixed the fridge for $495, instead I trash a $3000 unit for a few hundred dollars... What a deal!!!!!The total repair cost by A&E was $495.00. I paid $185.00 down for parts and the service call. Now I am out of $1500-2500 for a new fridge and Samsung may give me a small buy back amount! My advice... Never, Never, Never buy a Samsung refrigerator because they may not carry your parts after the warranty. Their fix is to give you a few hundred bucks and send you on your way to your next purchase... which in my case will never be a Samsung!!!

We purchased our Samsung Induction Range Model NE599N in August 2013. Two days ago we were sitting at the kitchen table when we heard a loud sap from the direction of the range. Later that evening while cleaning the range we discovered the glass top had cracked from the back left corner all the way to the middle of the front edge. I found Samsungs service number and spoke with a service guy who had me e-mail pictures of the crack. A day and a half later we received a call from Samsung that there was no warranty on our cooktop due to improper usage. I have ordered a replacement top which I will replace myself, but I will not buy another Samsung product.

Purchased 01-2016, 1st repair 03-2017 for ice maker and not cooling. Had to manually defrost every 3 to 4 months until 01-2018 when ice machine stopped totally. Called HH Gregg extended warranty who did not respond for 6 months. By then due to sickness I just gave up until this year when it started leaking water and would not cool. Called warranty company about repair on refrigerator and range. Tech responded and ordered parts. After a week the cooling problem was corrected but had to wait a week to replace ice maker and circuit board. Worked for 1 week and now there is no cooling ice or freezer. After repair last week the company that took over HH Gregg refused to repair the range and canceled the contract saying that it cost too much and sent a check for 279.00 refund. My advice is to never buy a Samsung Appliance and dont buy a warranty without having an attorney read it first.

Refrigerator was leaking sheets of ice under freezer for months. Samsung kept having us try different things to resolve the problem. I was trying to cooperate but Samsung should have replaced the refrigerator. I was repeatedly pulling out sheets of ice. 2 months after the one-yr warranty expired, we woke up to a flood thru our kitchen wall behind the refrigerator to our dining room. $1200.00 in damages we had to pay. Samsung promised they would honor the warranty because it was a continuing problem. After poor customer service, disorganization, and six months of grief, they then said no they would not even cover $400.00 of the damage. We will never buy another Samsung appliance. Very sad. The refrigerators are faulty and too risky to have in the home.

We bundled our kitchen with Samsung appliances just about a year and a half ago and the microwave has broken twice and now the dishwasher just went. Dealing with Samsung Repair process is a nightmare. Best Buy is useless so we called a repairman for the dishwasher and they dont even work on Samsung appliances due to the quality is so poor. Dont make the same mistake. The only reason they got one star is because I had to pick to leave this review. Watching the clock for our refrigerator and stove to go. This deal was a bust!

DW80F600UTS - Do not buy this dishwasher! I ignored the bad reviews thinking it would be okay... its not! Since day one it has been pathetic at washing dishes. Now barely one year into it, just past warranty, the leak sensor breaks (there is no leak). The dishwasher shuts itself down after a few minutes and the lights blink. I called Samsung several times to troubleshoot and they were no help. Sears repair came out and diagnosed a broken sensor that costs $120 and $145 to install. That is $270 for a practically new dishwasher. Please save your time and money and do not buy a Samsung dishwasher!

The cost to repair we were told could be around 500.00 DOLLARS which is too much for a new fridge. Now we have to buy ice because there is no way to put ice in the maker. My husband & I renovated 2 apartments in 2012 and purchased new appliances from Best Buy -- 2 French door refrigerators, microwave/cook oven -- to the tune of a $3,500 to $4,000. We thought this manufacturer had a trustworthy reputation, thus we bought their brand name. Unfortunately, problems abound with our refrigerator & microwave. The microwave required servicing as did the refrigerator. The freezer is cold but refrigerator is warm. Calls to the service department have been frustrating. Someone was to get back to us -- but didnt. In a total bureaucratic manner one blames the other for incompetency and POOR SAMSUNG SERVICE. Tell your family, friends, neighbors and even people you dont know well -- DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG PRODUCTS.

The customer service is horrific. The people are rude and do not honor the warranty. The temperature numbers on our stove started disappearing within the first year of owning the stove. They said it was cosmetic and not covered under the warranty but how could that be since you need the numbers to know what temperature to cook at. Not only is this not cosmetic, it is dangerous as it can cause a fire. A claim has been filed with the Better Business Bureau.

Just under 3 years ago I purchased an electric range for my elderly parents. The broiler heating element literally exploded in my 79 year old mothers face when she had the oven door open. After much research we discovered Samsung no longer manufactures the part needed to repair the unit. Before Samsung customer service would even discuss how to make this right they required us to have their preferred repair technician come out for a service call - at a $90 fee. We are still waiting to see how Samsung will compensate us but regardless we had to go purchase a new range so my parents can cook. Another bad thing is my entire kitchen has Samsung appliances and almost the identical range that uses the same broiler element. My kitchen is a ticking time bomb. I will never purchase another Samsung appliance. Discontinuing parts is terrible customer service.

We have a Samsung 3 door fridge with a bottom freezer (Model RF217ACPN) which has been leaking water into the crisper ever since we bought it. The first year we had it, it started to leak water and Samsung sent a service man out to fix it. He fixed it but months later it started to leak again. After he fixed it, 3 weeks later it leaked again. Samsung has paid for all of these repairmen at a cost of $200.00 a visit. When we call Customer Service about a refund or replacement we get stonewalled. They will not even let us talk to anyone higher than a customer service rep. We are very frustrated as they say their tech dept. has to deem this unit as having a factory defect. I dont know, and they cant tell me, how this is determined. They have already spent almost the original price of the fridge in repair bills but refuse to make this whole thing right. We are done with Samsung and will not buy anything from them unless they resolve this matter to our satisfaction!

SAMSUNG RS22HDHPNSR Counter-Depth Side by Side Refrigerator - Do yourself a favor, when researching what brand of refrigerator to buy, EXCLUDE Samsung from your list. After a year of purchasing this fridge from Best Buy, the unit stopped working. Fortunately my husband registered the fridge on Samsungs website and got an extended warranty of 3 addl months. After dealing with the terrible customer service and finally got the right repairman in, the repairman couldnt exactly tell us what was wrong with it. He said I think there is a leak so Ill repair that, but it could break down again today, tomorrow, next week, next month. That did not leave us with much comfort. So, here we are a few weeks later, and the fridge stopped cooling, AGAIN. Yet again, we are wasting our time explaining the situation to Samsung, then to have another service guy come out again which is scheduled a week from now because theyre all booked probably because they are trying to fix other lemons from Samsung. I dont know whats going to happen with this fridge, but my advice for those looking to buy a fridge or any appliances is DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG! Youll waste your precious time and money. Not worth it.
