I had the same problem with my Samsung fridge. Only had it for 2 years and it kept making these loud buzzer noises like the kind you hear on a game show when you answer incorrectly. And clunking sounds - and finally the defroster iced up and we had to unplug to thaw. Then it did the same thing again 2 weeks later! Had a hard time finding a service guy to come look at it - no one wants to deal with Samsung - said they get no support. Anyway had to order a new defrost unit - it took 6 weeks - I am not kidding! They replaced it when it came in and 5 weeks later - here I am again the exact same problem! Im done with it - taking a $1,500.00 loss because cant afford to keep replacing the part. Buying an American made fridge this weekend. They make good TVs and cameras but have no clue about appliances.

My Samsung microwave is 3 months past its warranty period and is no longer working due to the SE error. The unplug/reconnect fix worked for 12 hours the first time and 10 minutes the second time. I should have done more research before shopping for a microwave. I hope that anyone looking to buy a Samsung appliance reads these reviews before buying.

BUYER BEWARE!!! “Stainless steel” is a hoax!!! RUST bleeding through on doors and drawer after 1 year-- not covered in HD’s Protection Plan!!! I purchased an attractive Samsung fridge on December 29, 2016 at the Conshohocken Home Depot -- HD ref # ** 33- Wide, 18 cu. ft. Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator. It fit perfectly for my kitchen design. Home Depot delivered months later, and I started using the fridge in May of 2017. However, after one year I noticed spots of rust bleeding through on the sides and front of the top two doors, and on the top of the drawer, as well. As recommended, I clean the fridge with mild soap and water. I called HD Customer Service. The “finish” is not covered in the HD Protection Plan. They called Samsung. Samsung won’t do anything because the one-year warranty expired. So, there’s nothing to do except grin and bear it. Well, there’s no grin on my face -- pretty outrageous!

I bought a Samsung refrigerator 18 months ago and it consistently has the same problem. The freezer and the fridge stopping cooling frequently and the food goes bad. Tried my best to have my fridge replaced after numerous service tickets. Until now, still the same problem and still no replacement or repaired fridge. I just bought a new fridge of a different brand. Never in my life experienced a fridge refuse to cool. Sad...

What a waste of nearly $900. Samsung has absolutely no customer service when theres a problem(s). Was no help on phone, had an online chat (India, of course) who was flipping through his instructions for code PE and I was told it was a half-load error, whatever and whoever does a half load? I can ditto everything in here, one code after another. Repairman (local) here 2x, replaced main board that didnt work. Did the cleanout cycle a few weeks back and was running well but now code 9E. Looked it upon net, tried the soap thing, NG. Tried banging on left side and running this time, but for how long? If I have to pull it out like another suggestion it WILL NOT GO BACK IN. BTW, the Samsung authorized dealer is 3 hours away! They sent one about 6 months after I got it for rust appearing on the outside of the door and he said rust was not under warranty. This is a stainless steel, inside and out, and theres rust? I agree, NO MORE SAMSUNG! I hope the microwave holds out longer.

I love my fridge and the screen on the front where I can leave notes to the family. Only thing I cant figure is why make such a big refrigerator with a tiny ice container. We fill 3 or 4 glasses and ice is gone. Not big enough for a family. And its a big fridge but not a lot of space. All I can say is make a bigger ice maker and tray.

My dad, my brother, my father-in-law, and my brother-in-law told me not to go with Samsung, but I didnt listen. Now, Im paying the price. In less than 8mo Ive had 5 technician visits to attempt to fix my dishwasher. After 5 visits I finally got frustrated, and decided to call samsung to see if they would replace my dishwasher since its obviously defective. In short, their answer was no! First time the dishwasher broke was about 4mo after I purchased it. It would stop mid cycle with an error code which meant that it got too hot. That took 2 visits and as many weeks to repair. At the 7mo mark (July 1st), it stopped washing the dishes in the bottom rack properly. I contacted Samsung July 3rd. It’s July 24th and the dishwasher is still not repaired. Technician came out and said that he had to replace two parts, the bottom spray rail and the control panel. He had to order them. That was visit #3. Visit #4 was when he came to replace the parts. After a couple of hours of work the dishwasher was still not repaired. He said that there was another part broken, the motor that moves the rail. He’s suppose to come back Wednesday, July 29th. In the past 8mo, according to my count, 4 different parts have broken on Samsung’s “top of the line” dishwasher. I hope my review keeps someone from making the same mistake I made. moral of the story: listen to advice...do not buy samsung appliances. Theyre inferior quality. They look nice on the outside, but theyre garbage on the inside.

Two year old French door Samsung. Purchased warranty. Ice has always been frosty, half crushed, never a normal ice cube. One repairman said it is because the ice is too cold! He said turn it off every night, back on in the morning! One repairman said the year mine was made, they all make terrible ice. Changed filter and it completely flooded the kitchen and down into the freezer. Why should we have to pay over a hundred dollars a year for filters? I never changed a filter in a fridge before. We do not drink the water from the door. Samsung should recall these machines and replace them!!

In 2013 purchased a Samsung Side-by-side SS Refrigerator Model RS26TDR from Lowes. Worked good for about 8-9 months; came home & found the temperature in refrigerator was 60+ degrees; lost all food - called repairman to fix it & filed a loss on homeowners insurance [I had a rider to cover refrigerator loss]; worked great for about 7 more months; came home & found the same thing. This time in addition to losing food we lost at least $1,000 in **. Called repairman & filed a loss on insurance--has a $500 limit less $100 deductible so I didnt really get anything for the drug loss. Went & purchased a new Whirlpool French Door to replace it & moved it into laundry room to use for drugs which take up at least 1/4 of the space. Was working ok as far as I knew & last week came home & found the same problem 60+ degrees in refrigerator & around 0 in freezer.Cleaned everything out & called a repairman--will not work on Samsung appliances; called every repairman in our area - no one would come. Was told I would have to call a Nationwide Repair Company & gave me a phone number. When I called the minimum trip & diagnosis would be around $200 - then there would be labor & parts charged for repair. Also could not come for at least a week. I had to have a refrigerator to store ** & other drugs requiring refrigeration. Called insurance & cannot file a 3rd claim on same appliance so Im out another refrigerator of food & hoping it was caught early enough not to damage the **. I went out & spent $250 on a used refrigerator for the drugs. Have been researching online & found out that Samsung knew they had this problem, did not do a recall & ended up getting the class action suit against them cancelled. I purchased a top-of-the-line Samsung dishwasher in August 2013. By September 2014 it started giving me an IE error (heat) code. I had purchased the extended warranty from Leons and they directed me to call their provider Transglobal Service to have a technician come and check out the unit. We had to make an appointment to have someone come and look at the unit... AND take a day off work as they dont make service calls on the weekend. When the technician came a week later, he was at our home for all of 5 minutes and said he had to order a part. (We had told him what the issue was... Why doesnt he have parts to fix this in his vehicle??) It took another 10 days for him to come back and we had to take another day off work to wait all day for someone to show up. From start to finish it took 4 weeks to have the unit fixed... This was right around Thanksgiving. The unit worked for about a month, and we started to see the IE code yet again, just in time for Christmas! We have now been without a dishwasher for 4 weeks again, and the technician is coming today to fix the same problem. I am thankful that there are only two of us at home, and we arent a family of 4 or 5 and this isnt a fridge or stove that has the issue. The level of prompt customer service received is totally unacceptable. It simply doesnt exist. If the unit breaks down again, Im going to start haunting Leons stores and speak with people who want to purchase appliances there and tell them of my experience. So disappointed in this product, but more in the lack of care the service company seems to have for the appliances they supposedly fix. Not happy...

I purchased this range/oven about 4 months ago. I’ve had several smooth top ranges before and I could always get marks and food off with ceramic stovetop cleaner….But not with this one! I purchased new cookware to start with a clean slate and I’m so careful with the stovetop. I’m really frustrated with trying to keep it “new” like all my previous ones. There are marks all over it and dull places where I cleaned with a scratch proof pad and ceramic stove top cleaner. The mirrored black shows every smear and smudge. I literally have to buff it with a clean towel every time. That being said, one reason I purchased this stove is for the low temp presets on the oven. I make bread and it’s hard to find an oven that will go below 170°. I’ve enjoyed this feature very much. The air fry feature, not so much. It has to be set above 450° to get good results and it takes way too long vs a countertop air fryer. Overall, the range/oven operates fine. I just wish the smooth top was a little better quality and more resistant to marks, residue and smears. None of my previous smooth tops had this issue.

Our Samsung refrigerator completely stopped working 18 months after purchase. French doors with bottom freezer. No in-door ice or water. Trying to keep it simple to avoid issues. Main warranty is only one year, thanks, but other certain items covered longer. Good luck dealing with Samsung. They will set up service, but it will take two days for the service company to even contact you and then who knows how long to actually schedule appointment, and then both companies they have set up to come to our home - because the first one lied and said I cancelled appointment due to cost -- are the most poorly rated of any kind of company I have ever looked at online.I rely on online reviews, but have never felt so compelled to post until now. I am very disappointed with quality of Samsung and now see that many others are too. I have scheduled a separate service company to come out, after already paying out of pocket for another, and will probably just end up paying them to repair instead of fighting with Samsung about warranty; that is if they even can repair. I will be doing a complete remodel on another house soon and will not buy any Samsung appliance again.

We received delivery of our gas range on August 20, 2015, over a week ago. I have only cooked on it three times. Each time I was unable to clean the stainless steel front and stove top. Samsung offered one time accommodation service to cover labor and parts with ticket# **. 5. Technicians from TWO different service centers stopped by and claimed the fix can’t be done. The reason from the first technician was that the kitchen floor needs to be re-modeled in order to pull the dishwasher out. He also stated that it would take him 2 hours to fix the leaking problem and he had no sufficient time to do the work (which makes no sense?). When I mentioned that there was no issue with the kitchen floor during the instillation process and during the first time Samsung came over to fix the leaking issue on 10/4/2020, the technician had no response and left.6. Another technician from a different service center stopped by about one week later and claimed that the damage is not under Samsung’s manufacturer warranty. In addition, he couldn’t explain what the root cause of leaking was. The cost estimate to fix the leaking problem by the second technician was also outrageous. As a customer, we purchased a Samsung dishwasher, used it for about 6 – 7 months, then started having leaking problems. We tried to get this fixed, but the leaking problem occurred again after about 14 months. Samsung then told the customer to contact the technician directly to get problem fixed, all at the customer’s own cost. I have dishwashers made by other manufacturers at my other properties and they still work great. It is worth noting that some of these non-Samsung dishwashers have been working for 15 years.

My Samsung refrigerator (Stainless Steel Bottom Freezer) is less than a year old and the freezer stopped working this evening (12 Jun 2018). I am thoroughly convinced, after having read similar reviews published within the last few days and weeks, that the Samsung refrigerators were either immediately defective upon being manufactured or became defective while in transit. Though the product is currently under warranty, I do not look forward to having to deal with the retailer (Home Depot) and/or the manufacturer in order to repair it. Our family purchased a Samsung French Door refrigerator (RFF266-AEPN) in fall 2016. It was about $1,600 and looks nice. In February 2018 (after 12 months - when the warranty expired), we heard random beeping noises in the afternoon and evenings with the freezer temperature panel fluctuating wildly from -8F to 2F. I had a bad feeling when two high-quality appliance repair companies both refused to diagnose or fix ANY Samsung refrigerators. The Sears Appliance Service Company said the freezer fan was broken and that the replacement part was $650 in addition to a service installation fee ($150). So, now Im stuck with purchasing a brand new refrigerator in less than 2 years! Beware if you purchase a Samsung refrigerator. Im never going to buy a Samsung-brand refrigerator again.

We purchased a Samsung Side by Side Refrigerator from Home Depot in May 201
We purchased a Samsung Side by Side Refrigerator from Home Depot in May 2014 for $3,100.00 and paid an additional fee for a (4) four-year extended warranty from Home Depot. Samsung only offers a (1) one-year manufacturers warranty. Our first repair service call was with SAMSUNG on June 2014 for a defective ice maker that needed replacement and was subsequently replaced. Our next service call was December 2014, due to a failed ice maker AGAIN. Our third repair service call was in December 2015, the ice maker wasnt making ice consistently and it was also making CRUSHED ICE in the CUBE MODE, and water DRIPS was constantly falling from the ice bin down into the cup dispenser and rolling down the front of the stainless steel refrigerator constantly staining it. The ice maker also began a HUMMING NOISE. The repair service rep said the ice blades in the ice bin were weak and causing the CRUSHED ICE. He said this was a Samsung DESIGN FLAW that cant be fixed. WE paid good money for this SAMSUNG product and all we got was repeated problems and customer service delays. Now Home Depot refuses to honor their (4) four-year EXTENDED WARRANTY. We are demanding replacement of this SAMSUNG refrigerator for another MORE RELIABLE UNIT. If this is the so-called quality of a Top-of-the-Line SAMSUNG refrigerator, WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT NO ONE BUY A SAMSUNG REFRIGERATOR.

Samsung makes a beautiful refrigerator. It is well-built with shelves and compartments. Please dont have a problem, because you can wait months for the replacement parts. Also, the phone support and their customer concern is deplorable. They give you constant run around and you can never speak to the same person. You must repeat what your problem is over and over again. They need a program to teach their employees better product knowledge and people skills. Samsung makes a beautiful product and then drops the ball with everything pertaining to the consumer. This has to be bad for repeat business. They make a sale but not a repeat customer!

Thanks Again Samsung USA. Well here I am again folks. I talked with a Supervisor from the Executive Desk about my problems with customer support and about the Fridge (Samsung French Door Refrigerator RF323TEDBSR/AA). Wow can you believe they are truly a company that will buy back your product for less than you paid and they stick together on all levels of Customer service? And after talking with him he also tells me I have 14 days from the date of the email of the offer from them and thats the end. Another WOW. So here it is -- 2017.00 Samsung French door Refrigerator, 80.00 Delivery, 15.00 new water line (required), 370.00 Extended warranty, 148.00 Sales tax -- Approx. 2622.00 Total spent 1 1/2 year ago. They are willing to buy it back for 756.00. Should I be happy??? I can assure you I am not. If they admit there is a problem and their warranty ran out last August, why would they be willing to buy it back??? And I am suppose to accept this GREAT LOSS? Not without a fight. I have made many calls to them and emails to get paperwork to them, faxes to them on the same paperwork. And was asked again today to email the original contract again, 4 emails-efaxes they didnt get, 2 phone faxes that didnt show the total price. But this final email today showed it all to the young man I sent to while I kept him on the line. So tell me should I just let it go? And top of it all, their policy is before that refund can come, you have to cut the cord from the fridge, wrap it with labels from inside fridge with S/N and model around the cord and take a picture and wait on your refund. Now common sense tells me that if I do that I will lose all my stuff in the fridge and freezer and wait till their refund arrives and then purchase a new fridge plus fork out about 850.00 to replace it with what I bought 17 months after I bought it originally. I wish I could make some sort of sense out that policy??? Would love some feedback on this and would love for anyone with this sort of issue to also SHARE this so others may avoid what we are going through. Thank you Samsung USA.

Dishwasher cleans great, but after it was hooked up for a couple months one day the dishes did not come out clean. (I must say right off the bat that the dishwasher was in place for a year before it was hooked up so, although it had not been unwrapped, the warranty was up before the problem started.) Thought there might be dirt or something caught in the bottom under the screen. Took the screen and spin wheel thing off to clean it and found the problem was a small bit of plastic from the top rack had broken off and was stopping the little wheel from spinning the arms the water comes out of. Thought it may have broken because I had moved the top rack up to accommodate a tall item. Did not move the top rack again after that, but a month later, had the exact same problem caused by another bit of plastic broken off the rack. It is very annoying since there are 13 or 14 long screws that have to be removed to fix it. Would hate to be paying a repair person every time this happened! Seems awfully cheap production to have the racks falling apart and causing the dishwasher to stop working!

We purchased a complete set of the black stainless appliances. After 14 months the black finish on the stove began flaking off. I contacted Samsung only to learn my appliances were out of warranty. I was informed that even if they werent, it is a cosmetic issue and thus would not be covered. They offered to send a rep at my expense for an estimate of cost which I would have to pay. They admitted it is not what they feel is acceptable quality, but refused to take ownership for the repair. Since, there is additional flaking on the range, the microwave and the fridge. Bad Samsung!

What hasnt gone wrong. The latest problem is the handle on the freezer drawer. It keeps coming off. There are two bolts that screw into the freezer drawer that the handle attaches to. The problem is, the refrigerator has a latent known defect in which the threaded piece inside the drawer the bolt screws into breaks off inside the drawer. This is clearly a latent defect with the manufacturing of the product. Samsung considers this a cosmetic issue. Huhhhh, they would not honor the repair and wanted me to purchase another warranty. We have had many other issues like the ice machine, water filter and so on. I am so done with Samsung – a crappy product, bad service. Dont buy.

I am very upset with them because I own 4 more appliances from Samsung (cross my fingers that they wont die because its been 16 months old). I like the fact that that you can have two separate oven space with two different temperature settings or one large one. On top of the range are 5 burners & each one is a different size. The middle long burner is nice for a griddle. It would be nice if one of the smaller burners was up front. The large burner is a real power house & I seldom use it. When I do use it, the low setting is plenty & sometimes still too much. The oven door window is large enough to see in either top or bottom oven. The black top is hard to keep clean & with any stove the front knobs get splattered with grease but they come off for easier cleaning.

We bought a Samsung stove - Model #NX58H5600SS and a microwave model #ME18H704SFS in May 2015. The stove overnight started beeping and now showing an error code SE. The Microwave has been making a weird buzzing sound for over a year (seems like something is broken inside). After the stove issue we decided to call Samsung and they basically told us our warranty for the stove is for one year and microwave if it’s magnetic issue then the warranty is for 10 years but you have to pay for labor in order to fix the issue. However, we have no idea what the issue is. I can’t believe that after having these items for less than 3 years we already have issues. I’m very disappointed that we purchased these products and would tell anyone not to buy it since they are crap products! After two years, my Samsung SRS594HNSS two-door fridge started to freeze over on the left inside vent. It stopped working shortly after. I had the fridge for 2 1/2 years. When I contacted Samsung, who put me on to their agent, he installed a kit which cost me with labor $AU250. It took five weeks for the kit to come and it was over two months before the job was done. The fridge is now freezing over again. Samsung said it was out of warranty. I told Samsung that no one would buy an expensive fridge that would only last 2 1/2 years. It has been four months now since I contacted Samsung and their agent and the fridge is now 2 years and ten months old. I rang Samsung and they said the kit was under warranty and to call their agent again. The agent wants to charge me all over again for the labor. The agent for Samsung said that he had installed lots of these kits and never had any trouble, which makes me think it is a fault in the fridge. Samsung said it wasnt. Why the kit then? The complaints department staff were courteous and helpful. I realize it is not their fault, but a company policy. I had to buy another fridge during the hot Australian summer while waiting for the repair to be done. I am disappointed with Samsung as I have bought their products before including an expensive washing machine. I wont be buying any Samsung products from now on if they dont do the right thing by me.

I am a contractor who has installed over 100 dishwashers. This is the worst installation design I have ever seen. The hot water & drain connections are at the left rear corner of the D/W. The hot water supply line requires a 90 degree fitting (which is NOT supplied). The water supply connection is 3 above the floor & 4 from the left side. The water connection fitting on the D/W is PLASTIC. You have to buy a 90 degree fitting (brass), then remove the BRASS connector nut & replace it with the PLASTIC nut provided with D/W. When you connect the water supply line to the 90 degree fitting, it has to bend at a 90 degree angle to fit in the cabinet opening. The Drain hose is also connected at the rear left hand corner. You are warned to not overtighten the 90 degree fitting (PLASTIC) or it can cause a leak. THEN, it tells you to slide the D/W into the cabinet opening & be careful not to kink the water & drain hoses. It is such an idiotic design that the instructions actually say, Get a SECOND or THIRD person to help you if this is necessary. Once installed you have no way of seeing if the water or drain hoses are leaking, until it is too late. Three days later water was dripping from my basement ceiling, due to water connection leaking and ruining my bamboo kitchen floor. For 46 years I have installed D/Ws with the connections right in front behind the base panel. An easy connection for one man/woman and you can readily observe if you have any leaks. Samsung should stick to TVs.

The manual says to turn off the circuit breaker and call for service. Ill call on Monday and see what they say. I read on this site that others are having the same issue.

I have had this Samsung refrigerator (model RF266AERS) for at least 10 years. It has a one touch pure water dispenser (I chose the inside dispenser) and it’s easy to change the water filter which doesn’t take up much space in the back of the fridge. It also lets you know when to change the filter. The bins are removable and the shelves are adjustable. The freezer bin holds a ton of food and I chose to have the ice machine inside the freezer which makes ice on a regular basis. It is easy to clean both inside and out. Its design is a very pretty. I have never had to get it repaired, so I never had to use the warranty. It runs very quiet. All in all, I would give it a 10!

I made a terrible mistake buying Samsung appliances after my house burn down. They look cool. But there is something wrong with them all the time, the refrigerator icemaker leak water all over my new tile and wood floor one night. Been dealing with Samsung customer service and EXECUTIVE CUSTOMER SERVICE, what a joke, since May. How can those people sleep at night. They stop making the part for my two year old ref. (DA62-03148A). I was one of Samsung biggest supporters. WHAT A TERRIBLE MISTAKE I MADE BUYING SAMSUNG APPLIANCES.

I purchased a side by side Samsung Refrigerator (RS263TD) in 2014. It began freezing at the bottom in 2017 and I had it serviced for $200 replaced the cooling panel. Now in early 2018, the problem is back. The service company guarantees their service for 1 year if there are problems with the unit; it was not charge. I have now reviewed the consumer complaints related to Samsung refrigerators -- they are all the same. What about a recall on the products. This product was a replacement for my GE (21 years of use). I will never purchase another Samsung product. GE only.

We bought a Samsung side-by-side refrigerator three years ago. Last year, the vegetable drawers started getting water in them. We called a SEARS repairman who fixed the problem temporarily ($200), but told us the problem would return, as these refrigerators are low quality. He was right. We now have to buy a new refrigerator. Last week the handle broke off the Samsung microwave which is not quite two years old.

I bought this for my 2yr old Rottweiler, Tika. She loves watching Animal Planet, but I don't feel comfortable sharing the one located in our grand cinema room anymore since she growled at me aggressively when I tried to change the channel last time. They say compromise is the secret to any relationship ( including your pets), so the solution was actually really really simple: purchase the same TV again for her room. As a satisfied customer, I can now safely watch my football and my dog can continue to discover her true roots, and how humankind has bread her species over generations into a docile commodity you can put a leash on and assign a name to. Overall, it's a great TV. I was seriously considering a Christie projector at first, but the cost of ownership was a little too high for me (e.g. bulbs and maintenance).

We purchased our Samsung Refrigerator less than two years ago and have gone through 4 ice makers. The last one was replaced only 1 month ago and we already are having problems. Have spent hours on the phone with Samsung and they are willing to do nothing. I have been in tears over this. I would never recommend Samsung to anyone. They have HORRIBLE Customer Service. We spent thousands of dollars on this refrigerator that will now end up in the trash. Can you believe this? Please pass the word around that this is a company you do not want to do business with.

Warning! Do not waste your money purchasing this colossal pile of garbage (5.8 cu. ft. Slide-In Induction Chef Collection Range NE58H9970WS). It rarely bakes/cooks evenly and it will frequently and rapidly overheat causing your food to burn and ultimately fry the electrical panel. Upon calling Samsung the only assistance they were able to provide was how to spend more of my money on their faulty product. Samsung takes zero responsibility for what is clearly a common issue with these oven ranges. As it stands my options are to spend $$ on a new electrical panel and the cost incurred on its installation and the additional fix-it repair to stop the oven from constantly overheating, or throw the darn thing away. Im going with the latter of the two. I will never purchase anything from Samsung again. If I could give is NEGATIVE STARS I would.

Our Samsung FE-R300SX is 3 years old and we heard a loud pop and saw flames and smoke shooting out the back of the range. The circuit board caught fire. Samsung will not cover any of the expenses. Thankfully we saw it right away and our kitchen did not catch fire. This range should be recalled for safety. My husband and I were headed out the door when we heard the loud pop and saw the flames. We were baking Tater Tots and had the oven timer on. Our son was in his room playing video games and was going to turn off the oven when the timer went off. Our kitchen would have been on fire before he would have noticed a problem. We paid almost $700 for this range on sale and it is only 3 years old. We are very unhappy customers and will never buy anything Samsung again. They didnt even call me back about the problem. They sent an email to say they were sorry it caught fire, but they set me up for an out of warranty repair that I will have to pay for. I called them back and was told that I had no recourse and they would not cover the repair. Even thought there is a 5-year parts warranty, it does not cover the circuit board which caught fire.

DW80F600UTS/AA - We have owned this dishwasher for 18 months. We purchased a new home, and the dishwasher was brand new. After six months the delicate light came on. We did our research and called Samsung. They recommended checking the drain hose and house drain as the error is a drain error. There was no issue, so we disassembled the sump where the screen was to inspect. There was very little amount of debris in the sump. We reassembled and the problem went away. Three months later the same problem occurred, and we went through the same scenario. I finally had enough after the fourth time assembling and disassembling the dishwasher and contacted Samsung. All they would offer was to set up a service ticket now and that it was out of warranty. This issue should not be occurring with a dishwasher that is 18 months old. Stay away from Samsung Dishwashers. They are nothing but a headache.

I purchased a Samsung dishwasher from Home Depot in April. I had to wait about a month and a half to even receive it. When it finally did arrive, it arrived with a broken piece in one of the main water dispensers, so its impossible to use it. The very next day I called to make a replacement. I was told someone was going to call me within 48-72 hours while they processed the issue. I never got a call. So I kept calling back once or twice a week, and each time I voiced my problem, and that I had already called, and that I was waiting for a replacement. Every time it was a different representative, so I had to explain myself every single time. I let them know that I just want it replaced. They tell me I understand your frustration, Im trying to help you resolve this issue but its a lie, nothing gets done. Im now on week six of trying to STILL replace my brand new broken dishwasher.

Purchased 05/06/11, model RF217ACPN. Water started pooling in the vegetable drawers and bottom of fridge. I called Samsung and Best Buy and they said sorry you should have purchased the extended warranty as it was over a year that I had the problem. I finally called a repairman on 9/3/13 and he said he knew exactly what was wrong as he worked on that problem with Samsung refrigerators all the time. He came out and readjusted the drip tab and said the lines freeze up all the time. Now the same thing is happening again. I feel there should be a recall on these. Tried to email Samsung and it just wont fill in the required blanks. Dont buy Samsung!!!

Add me to the 2,180 list of dissatisfied customers who own a French door Samsung refrigerator with twin cooling. We have the same problem with ice building up in the refrigerator section causing water and ice to form under the crisper trays. The compressor was replaced after 1 year but the problem keeps occurring. I question the Executive team from Samsung how they could still be selling a product for the last 5 or more years that has the same issue. If you read through the reviews and see the years it has been the same problem. Their response was, We will send a technical out to fix it and you will pay the bill. The problem should be fixed and there should be a recall. Why would anyone invest more money in a piece of JUNK? Next step is a report to the Better Business and to make dealers aware that they are selling faulty products.

In November of this year I bought a Samsung fridge side-by-side with the bottom drawer and noticed three months later that the fridge drawer was discolouring, you’re not the same colour of the stainless steel as the rest of the fridge. I called them to complain and get this fixed and they said this was a cosmetic issue and it’s not covered. All this is dealing with them is a way of them playing with words and not fulfilling their responsibilities with warranty, anything but helping a customer as what I got this is definitely not cosmetic, it is a manufactures defect but they don’t use those words. Buyer beware. I will never buy Samsung products again and neither will my family members.

Since I bought this refrigerator the ice-maker jams and stop making ice. I have to manually pull the ice tray and wait for the ice to melt, put the ice tray back and hope that it will work. This happens every to 3 weeks. While it was under guarantee they will fix it. Currently I have no guarantee and it will be too expensive to have it repair by some else.

We bought a Samsung 2 door refrigerator in May of 2013. The guarantee was up in May of 2015. Nine months later, the flap control which seals the left side door broke and no longer stays open while the door is open. As a result, one must open the right hand door in order to close the left door. I called the number on the inside of the fridge to speak to a Samsung rep. Of course, despite the relatively short time we were over the warranty, there was nothing he could do. He was not even able to provide a line on a replacement part! Fortunately, we had purchased an extended warranty through Lowes, the store we bought the fridge from, and the matter should be resolved without cost. While speaking to the rep. at Lowes, I was informed that this was unfortunately a very common fault with these fridges. I have never had a major appliance break down like this before after such a short period of time. I should think Samsung would wish to protect their good name with a total recall on this issue and replace the flaps with a more durable part if, indeed it is a common occurrence. The rep. at Samsung seemed to know exactly what my problem was as I was trying to describe it. I would strongly suggest to anyone looking to buy a new fridge to steer clear of Samsung. They should stick to making TVs!

Bought 5 new Samsung appliances in February and now the compressor in fridge has failed. Samsung will not replace fridge and I have to pay to have fridge removed from home to shop for repairs and back again. Now realizing that buying Samsung appliances was a huge mistake, never had luck with their DVD players and should have known better. Will stay away from Samsung in future for sure.

I like the technology and the layout of the refrigerator but I am a little concerned with the reliability of certain aspects of my model, like the icemaker. I have owned the refrigerator for about five years and for the last 3 years the icemaker has not operated properly. It tends to freeze up after about a week or two and it gets jammed up with ice cube being dumped over the sides.

We bought the over-the-range oven, Samsung model# SMH9187ST in May 2010. In June 2011, the error code - SE - appeared on the display. Tried to unplug/restart. That worked for a couple of times. Called to Samsung customer service, that told me that nothing can be done, since the 1 year of warranty has expired, but we can pay out of pocket to get it serviced. Naturally, we refused, since it would make more financial sense to buy a new oven, than to service an old one that would get broken in another year or so. Samsung doesnt stand for its products. Its a fairly simple kitchen appliance to be broken after 1 year of use. Would be very reluctant to buy another Samsung product, again. For the past 2 years, its been used as the over-the-range night light.

What a huge disappointment with my less than 3 year old Samsung Fridge!!! And their aftercare service! As soon as I bought this refrigerator, Model # RF24FSEDBSR/AA which costed me $3,400 started having a problem within a week from the installation. Samsung sent me 2 different the 3rd party vendors to fix the problem since the 1st one couldnt. These two 3rd party vendors moved around my refrigerator in order to take a look at the back at that time. For last 5-6 months my fridge stopped cooling and it was accumulating ice in the back panel along with lots water dripping on the wall panel. Foods were easily molding and spoiled. When I called Samsung, they stated its because the refrigerator is not leveled and eventually its ruined fan functions. My refrigerator stayed exactly how the Samsung repairman left little less than 3 years ago with the wheels touch ground which was causing unleveling and eventual ruining the fridge completely. Samsung was showing no apology nor remedy whatsoever since the warranty time is over. They were asking me to talk to the vendor who left the refrigerator unleveled even though Samsung is the one who hired those vendors 3 years ago. Extremely disappointed with Samsung product and their service. Never buying Samsung products again. Definitely I will let other people to hear my voice every chance I get.

Ice Maker has malfunctioned since the refrigerator was purchased. Apparently a common problem with Samsung refrigerators that Samsung refuses to correct. Ice maker freezes up and will not produce ice and eventually quits working altogether. I have called Samsung on numerous occasions and their only solution is to take a hair dryer and melt the built-up ice. Now nothing works!
