We bought a Samsung French Door Bottom Freezer Refrigerator and it started freezing up behind panel in refrigerator part. It leaks water that overflows onto kitchen floor and makes your cold grocery items freeze up in back of fridge. You will have to pay hundreds in repairs and if you need questions answered about problems be prepared to be put on hold on phone and then talk to someone from India or Pakistan that you cant understand. Samsung refrigerators are nothing but CRAP and they need to be Sued.

I must let you all know that I contacted Samsung Corp. via email and complaint to them about the issue with my less than 2 years old Microwave and luckily, I got a response and apology within two days. They sent a company to pick up the microwave to get the control panel replaced at no cost to me. I am now waiting on my microwave to come back. Its only been a couple of days. They said it would take at least 7 days for them to get the part and bring it back. I am very happy with the way Samsung responded. They even called me back to make sure they picked up the microwave, not to mention all the follow-up emails. I really hope they fix it and it lasts. I suggest you all do the same! Good luck!

Purchased a Samsung French Door refrigerator from Lowes in 2012. The ice maker stopped working and since we had an extended warranty for two additional years, they sent out a technician. The technician removed the old ice maker and ordered a new one. When the new one came in, the technician shoved, pushed, and tried to force the replacement in place and after 30 minutes, decided it was not the right one so he was to order yet another one. The compressor died the next day and the technician stated that it was an issue that we had to deal with Lowe’s for. Of course, we really had to deal with Samsung. We jumped though all the hurdles and did not get full replacement value so we ordered an LG instead.

Horrible. Spent thousands on the refrigerator and now I see filter light on and learn I need to spend $45 every 6 months to replace water filter. Also, microwave filter needs to be replaced every 6 months as well- only $11 for that. Why didnt the Lowes salesman tell me I would need to spend additional money every 6 months and replace these filters? Also, when I called customer service I needed to ask him to spell out what he was saying because I could not understand a word. Not sure which country I reached but it sure wasnt the US. I will not even go into the fact that I also bought a Samsung electric oven/cooktop and needed to replace the cooktop after 3 months because it cracked. Samsung products are horrible. I will never purchase another Samsung appliance again.

Samsung Microwave model no SMH9151STE - I received the SE Error for the first time a week ago or so and followed the instructions provided to clear the error so that the microwave can function again. Unplugging did reset and clear the SE error only for about 12 hours and then it came back again. I called Samsung and discovered that my warranty had expired. The microwave is under 2 years old. The angering part is that it took the very nice repairman about 15 to 20 minutes total to switch out the part and correct the issue. The total cost of the part was $33.61. I was charged $135 plus tax for about 20 minutes of labor. This seems like a common error and since this is the case, why doesnt Samsung provide some sort of discount since their product is defective? Samsung should stand behind their products and offer customers experiencing the SE error some sort of discount or no charge for 20 minutes of labor!

The Grates on my Samsung stove have rubber mounts that hold them in place. Once the grates heat up the rubber mounts fall off, Now it’s dangerous because the grates slide all around. The grates were replaced by Samsung but in a short time the rubber mounts fell out again. Now it’s over year old... it’s a manufacture defect. Rubber and metal don’t work with heat. We can’t use our stove the way it is, Now what??? I would not recommend this stove to anyone.

Even by todays standards - where risk for product reliability is forced onto consumers who must then buy extended warranties - this fridge is terrible. It makes god-awful noise twice a day that you can hear all over the house. I called BrandsMart three days in to complain and they said thats just how it sounds, too bad for me. I will not buy a Samsung anything ever again - and certainly not from BrandsMart. Service on this through extended warranty has been horrible. They use attractive designs to help them sell substandard product and poor Service. Then sales people abet by telling you they are great fridges. I cant count how many complaints I have now read. This was the Bottom Freezer refrigerator, Black.

I bought this range in November 2013. From the first day the temperatures of the oven were inconsistent and the convection setting was even worse than the regular oven. I had a Samsung service technician come for service twice and showed him pictures of the uneven results of my baking attempts. He said there was nothing wrong with the oven and finally replaced the thermostat to appease me. I really wish I returned this range at that time but decided to make do. Over the years its gotten progressively worse. The upper convection fan doesnt work so I cant even use the upper oven because it wont let you use the regular setting in the upper oven. When I use it as a full oven with the regular oven setting I have to rotate the food to try to get it to cook evenly. The oven makes terrible noise.

I too am experiencing the same problems with my refrigerator as other consumers. I purchased this model in 2012 for $2000 and have had 3 problems so far. First, the water dispenser cracked when I tried getting a glass of water - took Sears 2 months to get the correct part from Samsung. Next, one of the shelves on the door cracked (I live alone so there are no reckless kids in the house). Now I am having my third issue with this 2-year-old refrigerator. Water leaks into the drawers and collects on the floor if I dont get to it right away. It starting making a noise like a train was coming through my kitchen - the dreaded fan problem others have complained about. Had to defrost mine twice already and was told by a representative that this is caused by a poor seal within the doors, and I should remove the seals and reinstall them. I was also told they would supply parts if a service call was made but I have to pay the labor! Isnt that the most expensive part of a repair? What a ripoff - these refrigerators should all be recalled. I think the next step calls for a class action suit against Samsung!

The knobs on the slide in electric range with the knobs on the front turn too easily. At least twice we have had dishes explode due to the knobs turning from just leaning against them. My 2 year old can easily turn the knobs on and off. Numerous times I have come into the kitchen to see one of the burners red from accidentally being turned on. The most recent dish explosion was today. I had set a bowl of squash on top of the over and about 10 minutes later I could smell something burning, I came out and the cooktop was set too high (I must have leaned up against it at some point), I immediately shut it off and the dish exploded, there was glass all over me, the counter, floor, I stepped on a piece that was in back of me and cut my foot. I was also holding my toddler at the time and I’m thankful none of the glass got in her eyes. There were shards of glass all over the place, we have a dog and two small children. This is very unsafe and Samsung really needs to address the unsafe design of these knobs. You barely have to push on them to turn them, this is a huge safety concern, especially as a fire hazard.

Bought a side by side refrigerator RS25J500DSR 17 days ago. After waiting the 24 hours for the ice to make, it was evident that there was a problem. The refrigerator only serves two people and one of them is gone most of the day. Its bin has only gotten filled more than a quarter of the way one time when we were out of town for 4 days. We only fill our glasses 1/4 way with ice in an effort not to be without ice entirely. Reported problem to Samsung and a tech called back. Had me to do the tests described in the video then he told me the ice maker was working fine and he was closing my file but would call me the next day to see if resetting it had helped. The next day, no call. Refrigerator was not bothered for 4 hrs. and the bin had approximately 30 pieces of ice. So the next day called Samsung again. Was again told they would send out a repairman. Today, was called by Tech. He stated that he was trained by the engineer and the ice maker in this refrigerator only makes 6 pieces of ice every 90 minutes - 2 hours. A total of 70 pieces of ice in a 24 hr. period. It is not designed to provide very much ice. I cant imagine that anyone would buy a refrigerator and not rely on it for daily ice. He also stated that the bin is not suppose to fill up more than 1/4 way full. Again they have refused to send anyone out because they know their ice maker is practically worthless. I wish I had seen these complaints before I bought it. I did look at the rating for this product and since it had a high rating I thought I would be pleased. However, this is the worst purchase I have made in 60 years. I dont ever plan to buy anything that is Samsung again.

Dont buy Samsung dishwashers! I bought DMR78AHS stainless steel dishwasher and it is absolutely horrible. Weve had nothing but problems. The brackets constantly break off, clogging the unit. I have to constantly rewash the dishes because they dont come clean. I have to towel dry the dishes because the machine doesnt dry like it should. I have had the water pump replaced. I have had numerous service calls to my house and thank God I had extended warranty. I didnt have to pay for it, but Im still pissed with the warranty because they took me through hell and back before they finally ruled it unfixable - and agreed to give my money back. Never again will I buy their appliances. When I talked to the rep at Lowes Home Improvement, she stated that they get a lot of complaints about the Samsung dishwashers! Buy at your own risk!

I purchased a new Samsung refrigerator, RS265TDWP, on 8/20/2012 from my local Best Buy and I did not purchase the extended warranty on it. It stopped cooling the refrigerator section on 3/10/2016, 3 years and 6 months old and in less than 24 hours box went from 34* to 54* causing me to scramble to save contents and make plans for service/repairs heading into the weekend. I called the phone number inside the refrigerator which stated it was for factory guaranteed repairs or accessories and did receive prompt response from whoever they were on the East Coast. However the local repair service they told me would be contacting me in 24-72 hours on the West Coast to perform repairs had a number of not so favorable reviews when I researched them online locally. Being out of warranty and with no extended warranty I knew I would be responsible for all repair cost. After thinking about the reviews for about 5-6 hours on a Friday afternoon I went another direction. I had another repair service person working on my refrigerator by 5:30 that evening and he told me the story of the notoriously lousy Samsung Refrigerator saga regarding this problem. His comment prior to starting, frozen evaporation fan, frozen coils, etc., etc. Findings once began work, evaporation fan motor frozen stuck, evaporation coils frozen over, insulation saturated (ruined), unit needs manual defrosting, back panel unit needs replacing. Because he sees this all the time, he stocked Samsung back panel in his service vehicle, good for me I guess, at least I did not have to wait another week for parts to come. He had job completed in about an hour and repairs totaled $411.09. Buyer Beware the internet is full of similar stories regarding Samsung refrigerators and this freezing over problem. Many have been a class action lawsuit filed against Samsung for this. My suggestion, do not buy Samsung Refrigerators without doing your homework and really investigating this issue.

I spent big money on new kitchen upgrades - all Samsung (Fridge, dishwasher, Microwave, high-end range). A few months after using the range, the first knob broke. It LOOKED like stainless, same as the range itself, its plastic. Long story short, I had to replace ALL of the knobs in a short time. They MELT or crack, and when you need new ones, Samsung wants FIFTY BUCKS EACH for a piece of garbage plastic. Their customer service department couldnt give a darn (Im pretty sure I was speaking to someone in the Philippines with no power to help me.) I found copies online for $7.50 each, which I am waiting to arrive. Hopefully, they will fit at a fraction of the Samsung price. While I like the BYUs of the stove, the knobs are crap and the customer service is non-existent! Ill never buy Samsung again.

The fridge never really worked well to begin with. It kept freezing the eggs and just about everything else. The ice maker stopped working within months. Microwave and dishwasher stopped working next. Every time we called Samsung maintenance to come and fix everything, it would get fixed temporarily and we would have to call again. When we called again, they would have an excuse as to why it won’t work. We did this about 4-5 times. They wouldn’t even get us a new appliance because at this point we have gone over a year without a microwave and dishwasher. Maintenance is terrible, appliances are terrible. We do not recommend this at all.

I bought a new Samsung 33 in. W 17.5 cu. ft. French Door Refrigerator at Home Depot and within the first year it started leaking. As it was still under warranty I called to have someone look at it. Unbeknownst to me, Samsung does not service my area, despite living only a few miles from the Home Depot where I bought it. Surprisingly, Samsung offered me a refund in lieu of service. While I would have preferred service on the fridge, I saw that this a common problem and there is a class action lawsuit against Samsung for this fridge. As well, I didn’t want a fridge with a defunct warranty. So, I accepted their offer for a refund and had them come pick up my fridge, buying a new one out of pocket to replace it.Six weeks and 50 phone calls later I am yet to see any refund, only a trail of multiple ticket numbers and crossed wires. This process has truly been the most inefficient, contradicting, and burdensome experience I have had with a company in my thirty plus years. Each person has told me something different and no comprehensive steps have been given. At one point recently, I was told that I was going to get an exchange. Well, I already bought a new fridge to replace the one they took and who would want a fridge with all these issues, that can’t be warrantied, plus that’s not what I had been told the entire time. So now I am out $1000 buying a replacement fridge and have no signs of being reimbursed. Many people are struggling with bills and for one of the largest corporations in the world to take advantage of their consumers in this way is truly sickening to me. I can’t imagine what a struggling family would do in this situation, having to spend hours on the phone, and hundreds of dollars out of pocket, not knowing if this corporation just completely screwed them over. While I wait to see if I get a refund or if it’s theft, I can only advise other consumers to stay far away from any Samsung appliance purchase. I advise any retailers to reconsider selling their products, or at the least, warn your consumers that Samsung doesn’t service many major metropolitan areas – even if it’s right by the store it came from. Lastly, I would like to tell Samsung that you can do a lot better. I am sure you try to break a lot people through this process, hoping they will just give up, as most of us don’t have time during our day to call up a 1-800 number and explain to a new person what the situation is, every couple of days, for weeks on end. I am beyond disappointed with this process and I will never purchase nor recommend any of your products or services.

We bought a bottom-freezer fridge in June. It worked fine at first (although we were on vacation for 3 weeks in July and August). In August, water appeared on our floor, and was traced to a slow drip from the water dispenser. Samsung sent the problem to a local service shop, who told us to run 2-3 gallons through the dispenser to purge air from the lines. This had been done by installer; we did it and the drip persisted. The tech came to our house and reduced the water pressure. Drip persisted. NOW Samsung tells us that future service calls are our responsibility, for a new unit still on warranty!!

The home I bought came with a french door Samsung fridge model number RF263AEBP. About 3 days after moving in the fridge stopped cooling. Luckily our home came with a home warranty so we filed a claim. There is a known defect with this model Samsung fridge and Samsung is doing nothing to resolve the issue. A family in NJ had to file a class action lawsuit to try getting help from Samsung. The fridge stops cooling and water forms under the fridge. Ice covers the coils therefore the fan stops working. The fridge then goes into defrost mode. This has been an absolute headache for us.We have forked out money on short term repairs and have lost money spent on food that has gone bad. This fridge is easily worth $3000.00. Samsung should be ashamed! I feel there should be a recall on their faulty product. I WILL NEVER buy another Samsung product after seeing how Samsung treats their customers. Im now trying to decide if we should put more money into this fridge or go out and buy a new one. We bought a Samsung side by side 25.6 CU FT refrigerator on 5-6-10 (serial # JJ5Z4GBZ400545J; model # RS261MDBP). We didnt have it a full year when he had to call for a repair service man to come out because the unit wasnt cooling and all the lights on the panel were all lit up. Something in the panel went out and had to be ordered. Then the last week in December we were having a birthday party and we had a house full of guests and had to buy 6 coolers for the party food as well as all the food we already had and I was never so embarrassed in my life as all my guest had to keep going out in the cold to the coolers for their drinks because the unit wasnt cooling and the freezer wasnt freezing. So I called service department again on January 3rd. After two service appointments, it was determined the mother board had to be replaced. So on 1-17-12 it was replaced and as of 1-21-12 the unit is still not working. I have another service appointment for 1-23-12. I have lost $300.00 in groceries because of this and have to buy ice and use a cooler in January in the winter no less and I have to go to the store daily to buy dinner, which is very costly not to mention very time consuming. I have two elderly and 5 babies under the age of 5 and that is so inconveniencing them as well as the rest of the family members and very costly. This is the absolute worse experience we have ever had. I will never again purchase any Samsung products and will tell everyone about this horrible, embarrassing, very costly experience.

Warning! Do not waste your money purchasing this colossal pile of garbage (5.8 cu. ft. Slide-In Induction Chef Collection Range NE58H9970WS). It rarely bakes/cooks evenly and it will frequently and rapidly overheat causing your food to burn and ultimately fry the electrical panel. Upon calling Samsung the only assistance they were able to provide was how to spend more of my money on their faulty product. Samsung takes zero responsibility for what is clearly a common issue with these oven ranges. As it stands my options are to spend $$ on a new electrical panel and the cost incurred on its installation and the additional fix-it repair to stop the oven from constantly overheating, or throw the darn thing away. Im going with the latter of the two. I will never purchase anything from Samsung again. If I could give is NEGATIVE STARS I would.

Not even 4 years old and I had to have it fixed in April of 2019 and now in September I have been told that the evaporator cover needs to be replaced. Ice builds up behind the cover and eventually will affect the fan and the fridge will not cool anymore. Go online and you will see that this is a very common problem and I guess Samsung does not care. Thank you Samsung for taking my hard earned money and thank you for keeping local repair shops busy!

First, I must tell you this refrigerator was purchased for my 90-year old father who lived in the country by himself, 5 miles from any of his kids. It was purchased in 8/2011. Approximately one year later, it went into demo mode. Theres nothing in the book about it so I called Samsung. They said it had to be caused from a power surge and they told me to reset it, so I did. Approximately a month later, it did it again. This time, I did not call them. I reset it myself. On Oct. 31 of 2012, I had a knee replaced about three weeks after my dad called and said it went into demo mode again. My husband had to take me out there to reset it. It was on the weekend and we could not get a hold of Samsung, so I called my son-in-law who had had the same problems with his. He told me to unplug it and see if it would reset, which it did. It seems to work for a while. Again in Feb, it went into demo mode again. (When it does this, it is not working, no cold air.) Dad tried to reach us all day. Finally, he got a hold of us in the afternoon. The refrigerator had been off all day. My son-in-law went in the afternoon and turned the refrigerator back on. Samsung wont do anything because its been over a year. Lowes wont do anything because we did not buy the extended warranty. It has gone into demo once this month already. 1 1/2 years old and it is a pain in the butt for my whole family.

They called back and said it would be 3 weeks before someone could look at it and they would refund our cost. Fast forward until today, still waiting on money, no calls returned as promised, on hold for 30 minutes at a time, multiple apologies, and they are only pay the cast of the refrigerator, taxes and fees are my problem. The worst company I have ever dealt with, incompetent employees that read off cards and overbearing. Unit bought new in 2008 - in 2011 water in refrigerator unit - approx. $300 to replace evaporator cover and thaw out. Apparently drain has problem with freezing over, told by repair company that it would not happen again. May 2015 - same problem, this time 450.00 to repair. Wrote to Samsung and they denied any responsibility. Apparently this is a common problem and the fix is not adequate - would not recommend Samsung refrigerators to anyone. Feel Samsung should at least find a suitable fix for this so that consumers only have to fix once.

Purchase a Samsung electric range May 2014, used the steam clean option on the stove - the blue surface in the bottom of the stove started chipping. When I called Samsung about the problem I was told if was cosmetic damage and its not covered by Samsung warranty. I asked to speak to a supervisor - was told someone would call me back within 24 hours. I have not received that call as of March 16 2015. I also purchased the entire kitchen package - started hearing a lot noise coming from the back of my French door refrigerator. I was told that they could not set up an appointment for a repair man to come out to check the refrigerator. The noise started 4 months after I purchased the refrigerator. Samsung does not want to fix or take back their defected products. Im going to get my attorney involved with this situation to see if he can put a fire under Samsung.

No repair, no warranty. It have a sulfur damaged. How that can be? I have a city water and a purified water system in the whole house. I have a 15 year old refrigerator, from the time the house was build, and still work in the garage. This is BS. I been read a lot other reviews in the internet, and people had the same problem. We purchased a complete Samsung kitchen from HHGregg 4 years ago when we upgraded our kitchen. Weve had issues with the ice maker freezing up almost since day one, but have continued to manually defrost. Now, heres the horror story. We returned home from Thanksgiving holiday to find our house flooded! Yep, you guessed it. The refrigerator was the culprit. It malfunctioned, and the inside of the fridge was literally filled with water! We had all hardwood floors, and every one of them has to be replaced, in addition to other repairs.Well, Samsung was quick to set up repair service through a third party contractor. The authorized repair person doesnt have a clue what hes doing. And, like Samsung, their customer service is the worst. I spoke to a Samsung rep again today, and expressed I did not want this refrigerator, that I wanted a new one. I got what I perceive to be the standard answer, and thats your appliance is no longer warranted, and all we can do is to repair it for you. What kind of crap is that when you have thousands of complaints about your defective product? After reading the complaints here, I noticed a few persons recommending a class action lawsuit. Were in for sure. Im done with Samsung appliances and after $50,000 in damages and repairs I certainly feel Im justified!

We purchased a Samsung RF263 in 2011 side by side doors with bottom freezer
We purchased a Samsung RF263 in 2011 side by side doors with bottom freezer. Within a few months various parts of the interior began to crack, annoying for such an expensive refrigerator but not fatal. The real problems began when the ice maker began to malfunction. It got so bad that we had it repaired outside of the main warranty this past May and it worked fine for about 8 or 9 weeks and started to malfunction again. After speaking with Samsung today the contracted repair company said that I would have to pay for a new repair to the unit because it was 93 days since the original (outside the 90 day window). Samsung, when I called back were no help at all and of course hid behind their policies. I explained to them and to the repair company that I didnt feel it was fair to have to pay for a repair twice, when the original repair was obviously inadequate. I would recommend never buying a Samsung refrigerator as they are not well made for the price and their customer service is designed to give as little to the consumer as possible. Also, I would advise purchasing an extended warranty on a refrigerator that you pay over $1500 for as one repair costs more than the warranty itself.

I started having odor issues with this dishwasher (Model DW80F600) not even a month after purchasing it on 5/25/14. Ive had 6 techs out to look at it and they recommend things like changing the detergent, running the hot water, using Jet Dry, etc. to re-plumbing through the garbage disposal. Ive complied with all of their suggestions. No parts were ever replaced on the unit and the one part that the 6th tech is saying should be replaced Samsung is stating that its a customer maintenance issue and claiming that Ive never cleaned the dishwasher and damaged it. To make a really long story short - its now 5/6/15 and Im being denied service on it because its in Samsungs system that Ive damaged it and its a customer maintenance issue. Never mind the fact that its been an ongoing issue for nearly a year.Ive provided Samsung with the bill of sale, all the receipts of service with tech notes on them, etc. The service notes that I received from Lowes were different than the physical receipts that I have. The techs are claiming to have replaced two parts on the unit & also making statements that are untrue - like Ive never cleaned it. I bought Dishwasher Magic on 12/24/14, which is in both my receipts & the notes I received from Lowes (who handled my first 5 service calls). Every time I talked to a Samsung rep its another story all with the same ending - they cant/wont help me.I received the technician notes (from Lowes) from the service requests that I starting in July 2014. I have attached those notes, along with the service receipts as well as a scanned image of the seal sump part & packing that it came in. This SHOULD be proof that either the technicians or someone at Samsung is LYING about what they have done to service our dishwasher. This is all due to a foul odor that has been going on beginning less than two months after purchase. I would like for Samsung to replace the bottom door gasket under warranty, replace the dishwasher (if its not fixable), OR at the very least authorize another service technician to come out, preferably a manager, to assess the dishwasher AGAIN under warranty. Samsung is claiming that Ive damaged my dishwasher & never cleaned it and therefore are unwilling to replace the bottom door gasket or allow for another service tech to come inspect our dishwasher. Here are the things that Id like to point out. The service appointment from Brand Source states that they put in parts. Id like to know what part they are claiming to have ordered and installed and ask how, since this is our first service, did they know to order that part and have it ready for installation? This is a complete lie - no part(s) were purchased or replaced on the dishwasher. I was told that we should re-plumb through the garbage disposal, try Jet Dry, and run it every couple days. Both of those suggestions were taken. We also ran the dishwasher empty with a cup of vinegar. Those suggestions and CLEANING from July (not 2 months into owning it) didnt work so we placed another service call. The initial tech from A&E came and decided that the tub/sump gasket needed to be replaced so he ordered the part. I have attached (Seal Sump) which is an actual scan of the packaging which was shipped 12/18/14 as well as the scanned image of the seal sump (product #DD62-00050A) still in the bag which I STILL have because it was never replaced as the tech notes are claiming to have replaced on 12/24/14 when in all actuality that tech (who was a different one than the one that ordered the part) said the gasket wasnt bad and that I should try Dishwasher Magic. I bought Dishwasher Magic and the tech put it in and ran started the dishwasher - therefore this was the second cleaning. It was recommended to us to try pod style detergent vs. liquid and to run the hot water in the sink, make sure its good-n-hot, then start the dishwasher. Both of those suggestions were taken and it still hasnt solved the issue. The last service on 4/8/14 performed by One Stop Appliance is completely off base. The tech notes (attached) stated that we need the bottom door gasket replaced and that he would get in touch with Samsung to order the part. I received a phone call from ** on 4/9/14 letting me know that Samsung wont authorize replacement of the part claiming its a customer maintenance issue. The tech notes indicate that I called Samsung and use the words food build up. How can the tech notes reflect something that hasnt even happened yet - my calling didnt occur until 4/9 - service was performed on 4/8. They also state that this is an issue due to never cleaning. Given that Ive provided at least 2 examples, one with a receipt, of times that Ive cleaned the dishwasher - this is just a false statement. In calling Samsung to try to get this issue resolved this has escalated from we have food particles in the dishwasher to we have damaged the dishwasher. The Samsung user manual states: CLEANING THE INTERIOR. Clean the interior of your dishwasher periodically to remove any dirt or food particles. Wipe the inside of the dishwasher and the inner part of the door with a wet dishcloth. We recommend filling the detergent dispenser with dish detergent, and then running the dishwasher empty periodically using either the Normal or Quick cycle with the sanitize option. This will keep your dishwasher clean. If white spots and odor are still present in your dishwasher, run the Normal cycle with the dishwasher empty and without detergent until it ushes. Then, interrupt the cycle and put an 8 ounce cup of white vinegar into the lower basket. Close the dishwasher and let the cycle finish. Do not remove the tub front seal (the long rubber seal enclosing the opening of the dishwasher).I HAVE performed periodic cleanings of the dishwasher and it still has a foul odor. I also rinse ALL my dishes before putting them in the dishwasher, and I wipe down excess water that gets on the door before closing it. This odor can begin within 24 hours of running a cleaning cycle. How is that a customer maintenance issue? Also, some of the phone reps have told me that notes indicate that there are food particles left in the dishwasher. If this is true then why? Shouldnt the dishwasher be rinsing, cleaning, and drying the dishes and therefore the tub? A particle is: From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia: A particle is a minute fragment or quantity of matter. [1] In the physical sciences, the word is used to describe a small localized object to which can be ascribed several physical or chemical properties such as volume or mass; subatomic particles such as protons or neutrons; and other elementary particles. [2] The word is rather general in meaning, and is refined as needed by various scientific fields. Something that is composed of particles may be referred to as being particulate. [3] However, the term particulate is most frequently used to refer to pollutants in the Earths atmosphere, which are a suspension of unconnected particles, rather than a connected particle aggregation.IF I have food particles in the dishwasher how is a minute fragment causing such an odor that I have been calling for service on the dishwasher since 7/18/14? In addition if this were a customer maintenance issue then why has it been an issue since a month after the purchase date? And in performing all the technician suggestions it still hasnt resolved the issue? I have filed with the BBB and here is their second response after I contested their first response. Still clearly not paying attention to the facts and still not willing to help. Heres Samsungs official response: Ms. **, Thank you for providing the additional information regarding your claim. Samsungs product team has evaluated all new and existing documentation available on your claim. The warranty coverage remains unchanged. Although Samsung cannot pinpoint the cause, a few examples for the odor are: infrequent cleanings, excessive food residue, the drain hose is connect to the garbage disposer, from which food can get backup into the drain hose. What would not be contributing to the odor is mechanical or part failure and the Limited Warranty only covers product malfunction or defect. There is no such evidence.I understand there were was added concerns about the part that was order but not installed. This was noted but this part nor changing it would address the symptom. With our apologizes, warranty will not be covering the cost of any further repair requests to address the odor symptom. Thank you.

My extended family has 3 Samsung fridges - 2x RL67 and one RL62. After approximately 16 months, two of them developed noise. The noise stopped each time the fridge door was opened. The problem was with the coil in the cooler - it had iced over. I called a technician for our fridge (RL62), and he repaired the problem. He offered me insurance for three years at a cost of $360. I refused, then he offered me insurance for one year for $200 (the cost of the repair). After Googling the type of fridge problem, I discovered that there is a serious problem with Samsung fridges. We bought a Samsung model RF28HFEDBSR refrigerator through Home Depot for the princely sum of $ 2400.00, in May 2014. From day one the unit has made a super annoying, loud buzzing noise when the refrigerator part cools. We contacted Samsung repair and the operator had us hold the phone near the refrigerator so she could hear the noise. Wow, that doesnt sound right!, she said. Samsung sent a repairman from Willowset TV who arrived 3 hours late. He said the RPMs of the fan were normal but was not competent enough to diagnose the problem. Did I mention he reeked of body odor? Now we lie awake at night listening to a sound like a weed whacker coming from our new refrigerator. We are disgusted, to say the least. Called Samsung again yesterday and they said they would send another repairman. I asked where he was coming from and the operator said, Monterey, you live in California, right? No, I answered. In November 2011, our family purchased a counter depth Samsung Refrigerator, Model #RSG257AARS. Shortly after purchasing the refrigerator, the exterior door above the ice maker had a small divot. Originally, it appeared like someone in our family dinged it with a hard object. However, over the next year, the problem continued, and both doors are covered in small divots from the door handles to the top of the refrigerator. This is definitely a manufacturing defect. We were told our warranty no longer existed. Even worse, they told us our Model number and Serial number didnt even come up! They consistently told me they could give me the number of their service center, but that we would have to pay for the repairs. I argued for 45 minutes with ** explaining to her that we would in NO way pay for the repair of a defective product… something that Samsung is FULLY aware, yet continues to deny. She then said she would have the Tech. Dept. call me the next day. No one got back with me so I called back on 4/2/15 and spoke with ** which got me nowhere, so demanded to speak with a Supervisor. I then spoke with ** of Executive Customer Relations. He, again, tried to deny that Samsung has a serious problem with their microwaves. I cited the over 300 complaints on Consumer Affairs. After 45 minutes of arguing, he finally relented and said they would send a repair tech out at no cost but that the only part they would cover would be the control panel as this is the part that seemed to be the cause of our complaint based upon our error code. Today, 4/10/15, the repairman came out and replaced the control panel. And, not surprisingly, the microwave is still dead! He claimed it must be the main board that needs replacing as the new control panel did not solve the problem. As he only brought a new control panel, he said he would send in our repair results and that someone would contact me. I asked him what a new main board would run and he said he had no idea what the cost of parts ran as only the Joplin, MO. office would know.At this point, I am totally disgusted with Samsung. Seems to me that if it is not the control panel, then it is something else. Bottom line is these microwaves are crap and whats more frustrating is that Samsung is fully aware of it, yet will not take appropriate action… such as recall them. All I know is that when I am contacted, I am ready to fight once again for this worthless item to be fixed BY Samsung at no cost to us. We have not even used this microwave for 1 year and for it to die on us, is absurd! Would love to hear about anyone elses similar experience with failure of the main board. I can only reiterate what everyone else seems to feel… why has a Class Action Lawsuit not been put in action? I know this is a long standing complaint and is extremely common. Is there not an attorney in the house who has experienced this problem with Samsung Microwaves? I will be the first to sign the petition if the challenge is created. I will write more about our travails once Samsung calls me. And if they fail to do so, I will be calling them! NO ONE SHOULD PUT UP WITH SAMSUNGS DENIAL FOR REPAIR! If you dont get what you want, fight for what is right! It has worked for me thus far. They simply cannot keep denying these claims.Updated on May 5, 2015: This is a continuation of a previous review published 4/10/15. It is vital that every Samsung consumer read this tip. We went through the same agony as everyone in dealing with Samsung and their refusal to acknowledge or assist in the repair of these defective microwaves. We spent hours on the phone with several Samsung employees.. most in the management dept. Each phone call got us the usual response... we can provide you with the number of a service repair company but the cost is up to you. Just so you understand, I do not put up with lies nor do I put up with injustices. I do not let them go. It was not until after I finally demanded to speak with someone in their LEGAL DEPARTMENT that I got any satisfactory response. I was told that the only thing they could give me was the email address for their legal dept. So, I wrote the Legal Dept.. ** on 4/16/15. I expressed my disgust with Samsung and urged them to read the reviews on ConsumerAffairs.com. I pointed out to them that they were completely unethical in their handling of the hundreds (actually probably thousands if you take into account those who just did not write a review on ConsumerAffairs) of complaints as to the dreaded defective microwaves. I warned them that a Class Action Lawsuit seemed to be encouraged by most. On 4/17/15, I received an email from the Legal Dept. (I will not give the name as it seems the names are bleeped out). The email approved the cost of repair for our microwave. We, too, had the common 5E/SE error code. The technician came out on 4/21/15 to make the repair. Turns out we had to have the motherboard replaced (having already replaced the control panel) before the oven worked properly. We do not feel the headaches are over. It seems as if many of these issues arise again after a few months of use. We will not be surprised when/if this happens again. Bottom line, these microwaves need to be recalled or a Class Action Lawsuit should prevail. Samsung is only putting a temporary fix on these defects. Since the Legal Dept. acted as if my complaint was new to them, I can only encourage everyone to write the Legal Dept. of Samsung to voice their complaint and to get appropriate action. Hopefully this helps all of you who are getting nowhere with Samsung.

I have spoken to your representative on numerous occasions regarding the quoted fridge (Samsung Fridge RS2530BWP) purchased Dec. 2/07. Again this unit has stopped working. Now my food is all spoiled. I was told by the repair company that it is the motherboard once again. This fridge has been a problem since just after the first year of purchase and you may check the log of my calls. My fridge was purchased in 2007. I purchased an extended warranty and this service co has now serviced my fridge 4 times. This warranty is now off also and now the fridge has quit completely leaving me to deal with an outside service company who say that it’s the motherboard again. The part has to be ordered and it takes 8-10 days or I can have it expressed at an extra $40 and it will be delivered 4-5 days.Awesome service for an essential appliance, wouldnt you agree? The fan has stopped working 2 times, a motherboard replaced one all just after the Samsung warranty was off, of course. Plus there are several large cracks in the plastic of the interior which Im told are merely cosmetic and there is no coverage for that. It was a very noisy fridge, banging and waking me up at night. To say Im not a satisfied Samsung customer is an understatement.Plus Ive again lost 3 fridges full of food which have to be replaced. I hope all of you will read these reviews and refuse to purchase a Samsung appliance ever. Im now forced to look for a new fridge and believe me, I will not ever purchase Samsung again.

I bought a Samsung Rs2530 Bbp refrigerator from Best Buy in October 2008. It made a lot of ice at first, and we never ran out. In less than a year, it stopped cooling and decreased ice output. I set up a service call, and they replaced something inside behind the icemaker. They told me I needed to have less stuff in the freezer for it to work right. They extended my warranty to three months, and said the icemaker would work. On Christmas Eve, it quit cooling completely; they couldn’t get anyone out until after New Year’s Day. That ruined all my food and our holiday. They then said I cancelled the service call the day I took off to meet with them, and that I had to reschedule. That meant two vacation days off work. They got it running, but it still didnt make much ice. Then the warranty was over. Back in June, the power went out and it quit cooling again. I had one light flashing on the front. I found Jonathan ** of ARC who said he could work on Samsung appliances, and could come the same day--unlike the people Samsung wanted me to use. However, a few hours later the refrigerator just started working, so I told Jonathan I would get him to fix the icemaker in a few weeks. The power went out again last Wednesday; it stopped cooling, and I got the same flashing light. I tried to research the problem online. I found out that either the unit could be reset (didnt work), or it could resolve itself (didnt happen the first day like last time). Also, it could either need a control board (found for $60-$70 dollars), or depending on which light was flashing it could indicate a faulty sensor. Since I didnt know which, I had to call Jonathan. I told him I needed to know what part to replace. He came in asking questions like he hadnt spoken to me like, “So what is this flashing light for?”, “It just isnt freezing?”, “Looks like its working...the lights come on when I opened it.” and “Let me check the compressor.” After digging in it for a little longer, he asked me about the flashing light AGAIN, and said it was the control board. He could fix it for $450.20! He said the spare part was $260 and that he could get it in about three days. He would apply the $89 he was charging for the service call to the bill, or that he could get me the same refrigerator new for about $2000 or used for $1000. Really? I paid less than $900 when I bought it new. I decided to take a loss on the $89, and get the control board since he gave me the part number. Guess what? It wasnt the control board. I replaced it; I tried all the resetting and still had the same problem. I left it in a few hours to see if it would start working. Nope. I took it back out hoping the parts store would take it back. They wouldnt. I stopped payment on Jonathans $89 check, since I was now out of $72 more because of his wrong information, and the food decaying in my refrigerator and freezer. He not only tried to overcharge me for 5 minutes of work, he also misdiagnosed the problem and knew less about it than I did. I decided to just get a used refrigerator over the weekend, but late Friday it just randomly started working again. Okay. I bought new food and cleaned it out. We had a thunderstorm today and lost power. You know the rest; flashing light, not cooling and no one can fix it unless it fixes itself. Samsung shouldnt make refrigerators as I see this or similar problems all over. Jonathan ** of ARC is not qualified to diagnose or make repairs, and will rip you off.

I havent had my Samsung model RF195 refrigerator two years and water and ice are forming under the vegetable drawers. I was told the drain is plug and it could cost up to $150 to fix. I will have to unplug my refrigerator for 2 days and they will have to put in a new improved part in the drain that is deeper and replace another part along with it. The company I purchased it from who is also my repairman stated he just repaired another one the previous week. It sounds to me like this is a huge issue with Samsung refrigerators. I am not happy about putting $150 in a less than 2-year old fridge. Samsung needs to step up, take credit for the mistake, and offer some type of resolution to the solution!

We purchased a Samsung Gas range in 2014. The stove cooks perfectly and we are overall very pleased with it. However whenever we do a self clean following the manual instructions to a ‘T’, the bottom ignitor fails afterwards and I can no longer bake or roast. This has happened three times and we have had to replace the bottom igniter 3 times. Fortunately we have a gas technician friend who can replace the igniter for us. It’s costs us $80 a pop but would have cost $300 each time if we’d paid for a Samsung technician. I have sent an email with product serial number, etc. and photo of burnt out igniter and had an instant reply from customer service asking for more information. The strange thing is, when I try and reply to the email or try to send another email to Samsung, the emails are immediately blocked. I ended up doing an online chat with a service technician who informed me I had to pay a $5 refundable charge with all my credit card information in order to receive a reply (answering questions they had asked me for!!!). Total run around and obviously a deliberate action by Samsung in order to avoid dealing with a known fault with this particular gas range. One disgusted Customer.

The first error code (LC) happened about 4 weeks after install. A week wait for a tech, claimed no problem. Happened again about 5 weeks later. Again, no issue found. Happened again - replaced a part. Happened again. You get the picture. Sent a complaint directly to Samsung in May 2018 requesting replacement of faulty machine (Dishwasher 80M9 series). Was told they had only received ONE repair notice from us (we had logged in SEVEN at that point - since WE hadnt paid for any of the service calls, I have to assume Samsung did!). They sent someone out to repair AGAIN. Happened again in June. JUST had repair here to replace two parts - he was 5 minutes away from the house and it happened yet again. HORRIBLE company to deal with. This should truly be a no star review.

Purchased refrigerator in BLACK finish (RF28HMEDBBC) to coordinate with other appliances in my kitchen. Upon setup by delivery personnel I find surface scratches on the face of the doors that are in even patterns, they agree must be from rubbing during shipping. The salesperson from Lowes agreed to order new doors. Before doing any cleaning of the surface I referred to manual and used only recommended method of cleaning which is damp cloth followed by dry soft cloth. This method leaves swirls on finish plus near the handles I see new scratches apparently from fingernails that have swiped the door while reaching for the handle to open it (nothing else has been near that area except my hands). Also manual suggests polishing the surface once or twice a year but does not say with what product. I called Samsung and they could give me no answer to what product they recommend. The new doors arrive with another series of scratched patterns so obviously the finish is not durable at all! None of my other black appliances (other brands) have any marks and are several years old. Lowes is willing to again order new doors or swap out for another brand. I am writing this as a buyer beware notice and curious if others have had similar issues.

I have a Samsung RF25HMEDBSR/AA side by side refrigerator that is nearly 2 years old, The ice maker has been a pain since 6 months after it was purchased, the thing drips water constantly, is moldy, does not produce enough ice, etc. It is mounted in the refrigerator portion of the unit in the upper left corner. It seems like it does not stay cool enough to keep the ice fully frozen and functioning. I had the ice maker and auger replace under an extended warranty package (I have been forced to purchase the warranty to the tune of 300 plus dollars a year), because Samsung customer support will not address the issue. The ice maker failed again this weekend after functioning properly for about 4 months. Thank goodness the warranty is still in place so it will be covered. Come on Samsung there are a ton of bad reviews on this unit, step up to the plate and make this right for your loyal customers!

Our dishwasher didnt clean very well, we often had to redo dishes. At about 11 months after we bought it, it stopped working altogether. It was still under warranty, but we had also purchased an extended warranty. We called Samsung, they referred us to an authorized repair shop. We contacted them, a guy came out and said it was a broken drain motor. He said its a common problem in Samsung dishwashers. He said hed order the part and let us know when it comes in. He expected it to take 1-2 weeks. After 2 weeks without hearing from him, we contacted his shop. They said the parts had not arrived, well call you when they do. Another 2 weeks go by and we havent heard from them so we called them again and asked why its been a month already and we still have no dishwasher. We were told the technician would call us back. After another week, we had not heard from the technician so we contacted Samsung. Samsung said theyd check into it and call us back but after 2 more weeks, we hadnt heard from them. We then contacted Samsung via online complaint and were told there was never a ticket generated. We did a live chat, gave them the info we had, whom we had talked to about the parts etc. They had no record of it. I have a 3-page transcript of the conversation. We sent another copy of our purchase agreement (we had done this the first time) and heard from them 2 days later. They told us we were out of warranty and had to talk with the extended warranty people. This is after we had reported the problem while we were still under warranty (When we called the first time, they (Samsung) looked it up, told us we were still under warranty and thats when they gave us the info on the authorized technician shop to contact). They told us we have to contact the extended warranty company, which we did. They submitted for payment from Samsung so we could get the drain motor, and the drain hose. Samsung refused to pay for the drain hose part or labor. They said theyd pay for the motor but not the hose. They told us that we have to pay for and install the hose ourselves. They consider the hose a consumer installed part. This is a built in, under counter dishwasher. We tried to explain that it makes no sense since the drain hose is connected to the drain motor. If the hose does not drain properly, it could be the cause of the motor failure. Besides that, if we mess with putting the hose on and the motor fails again, they could come back at us to say we didnt install the hose correctly, therefore another fix of the motor wouldnt be covered under the warranty. We are quite frustrated at this point and dont know where to turn or what to do next.

You cant walk away for any length of time as pans burn on high!! I am buying a coil burner to cook on as All stoves are built this way. Dont buy Samsung Ranges. I brought the chef collection 30 last year and within two months had to exchange it for another. After four technicians later and new computer boards, they finally replaced it with a new one. The range would go on by itself and the only way to shut it off was the main switch in the basement. So far so good until one day I was making a sandwich for lunch and heard this loud cracking. I didnt know where it was coming from so that night when I started dinner I realized it was the cooktop that cracked. I wasnt using it, the range was off. This is most bizarre. How can this happen? Well I looked up on this consumer site and apparently Im not the first person. So theres got to be a defect right? Maybe a recall is in order. When I called Samsung they said they would extend my warranty but I needed a tech to come out to make sure it wasnt caused by physical damage. Okay a tech came out and clearly wrote that it was not caused by physical damage and reported that to Samsung. I called them to see what happens next and they claim I need a second opinion and more pictures. They forwarded more pics and Samsung said it was caused by physical damage and I wasnt covered by the warranty. I asked a customer relations person who can I talk to that can help me. She said an executive customer service person, but they only have outgoing calls, you will have to wait until they call you. That person called me today and left a message and told me according to the pictures it was physical damage. So I guess they are calling me a liar. Im not done with them yet, but they are the lowest of the low companies that screw people right and left. Their customer service is full of abrasive people that will not help me. They only have outgoing calls. What in the hell is that? Ive had two of their ranges in 15 months and Im sorry I ever bought one. Terrible company. I bought this item at Best Buy 8/17/2015.

Samsung 2.0 cu ft Over-the-Range Microwave Model SMH9207ST - On August 21, 2013, we purchased this Microwave. On Sunday, December 14, 2014, it simply stopped working. After checking to see that the outlet was hot, I attempted to reset the microwave by leaving it unplugged. Plugged it back in with no results, unless you count nothing happening as a result. This microwave replaced an earlier one from Samsung with the dreaded SE error code that wed had for about 2 years. We got another Samsung because our experiences with 4 Samsung televisions, refrigerator and washing machine had all been good. Bad decision. Ill be replacing this one with a Whirlpool. Im fairly certain that quality has probably been compromised over the past 20+ years, but there was a 3 year old Whirlpool microwave in the house when we bought the house and it didnt get replaced for another 18-19 years. I cant remember, but it may have been replaced because of its outdated styling, not because of any problems. Well see how a 2014 generation Whirlpool microwave holds up.

I purchased a Samsung range a little over a year ago and also purchased an extended warranty for this appliance. It has a drip going down the front of the glass. I contacted Samsung and they suggested doing a steam clean. Obviously that would not work. Two technicians told me not to have the glass replaced that it would only happen again as the seal was broken. Samsung will do nothing as it is cosmetic and now Home Depot Extended warranty will also do nothing because of same reason. If this is an ongoing problem, we should have been made aware of this before purchasing. Also should have been told this problem would not be covered under the extended warranty. This is not a happy customer although I do like the stove. But for the amount of money I paid for this, it should not look like it does after a year. And how many times is this going to have to be done? Probably would not buy another - ever.

I have a Samsung refrigerator that I purchased about 3 years ago. Last Christmas we lost power for about 10 seconds and the refrigerator stopped working. I unplugged it and waited about 10 minutes and plugged it in again, and it started up again. Whoever heard of such a thing? I noticed one of the doors to the refrigerator was lower than the other, and scraping on the freezer door below... Ice maker is available, but I dont use it, and the cover kept falling off. Eventually the small box fell down into the freezer and I had to keep adjusting it until a friend finally unhooked it. Last night, (Sat. night) I opened the refrigerator door and noticed the temp. was 48 degrees. I unplugged again and waited 1/2 an hour then plugged it in again. It didnt work. I went to bed and this morning the refrigerator was working. I had a Samsung smart tv that lasted about 14 months and stopped working. My repairman said it could not be fixed and he had never seen such a cheaply made tv... I will never, ever, buy another Samsung product...

David in Ohio, I had the same exact situation occur with my microwave. It was made in Feb of 2010. But I did not take possession of it until Sept of 2010. I was storing a freshly made chocolate cake in the microwave when I came home from work to smell a horrible odor of something burnt in my home. I freaked out and began searching for the cause. It wasnt until later that I noticed the code for a short on my microwave. I unplugged it and cleaned the horrible mess out of it. Then I re-plugged it in and reset the clock and tried to warm up a cup of water. Everything worked fine. So I thought, ok, that was weird, how did it turn on by itself? Then as I was going about other business, I heard the microwave turn on.... When I got to it the message screen said it was cooking in Baked Potato mode. Now that was crazy! So I have been without use of my microwave for a few days. I began looking online for any recalls. I did find a similar issue recalled back in early part of the 2000 decade. But nothing recently. Then I saw Davids post. My situation almost EXACTLY!!!! I did also post a complaint on Samsung Supports Facebook page. They replied with a link for me to go to and complete with info for them to get back in contact with me. We will see. I hope this company will stand up and make good on some type of faulty problem with their product. I would hate to have to buy another brand. I already have a Samsung range and was looking at replacing my current Kenmore dishwasher with a Samsung. All depends on how they handle this situation. Obviously it is a mfgs defect. Not caused by anything I did.

Samsung fridge SR320MLS purchased 3 years ago at Noel Leeming Manukau, NZ. But after a year and a half I found out its left and right both inner shell hook for vege bin is broken at small coin size and Samsung has replaced it to new one, it was smooth and good. But a year and a half now from replacement, exactly same place of left and right inner shell is broken at small coin size but this time Samsung service NZ, they wants to stick some patch on both side of broken inner shell. Imagine about it Ive paid $1,134 for good look stainless fridge for good fresh stuff for my kitchen but do I have to use broken shell fridge with ugly patch because of Ive choose weak and wrong product, that seems like a manufacturing fault? Are you happy at all? Of course not! Therefore I asked them for replace it to another right stronger model with extra payment but they didnt allow it for 2, 3 times so Ive required for talk with NZ general service manager for and she called me for 2 times but unfortunately my battery was flat and I was at outside so again Ive let them know good time to contact with me but neither G.S didnt contact me nor Im able to speak with her through call center. It was 3 months ago until now they did resolve my claim and G.S never contact to me. How many times do I have to contact to service center??? Because of they are wrong product totally it was more than 5 times. Now Im very sick for Samsungs after service. Please tell me something, what shall I do?

My advice - DONT buy Samsung products. The condo block my friend lives in has Samsung dishwashers installed. Three of them that I know of have quit. It is impossible to get good service with any kind of results. The technician at the other end keeps you on the phone for hours and wont consent to new parts or agree that there is a problem covered under warranty. It took one gal seven months to get any results. Two are still working on it. They are not cooperative at all. We had a Samsung TV. What a disaster. The picture was always blurry and with movement, it was followed by a delayed shadow. Weve switched to LG products and love them.

Bought a Samsung French door bottom freezer from Sears a couple years ago and the crisper drawers have flooded/froze from day one. I cant even use either of the crisper drawers at all. This is the worst refrigerator Ive ever owned. I see the same complaint all over the web. Where is the class action lawsuit for this problem? Sign me up. I will never own another Samsung and I make sure I tell anyone I hear shopping for a new refrigerator to steer clear of any Samsung. I cant describe how much hate I have for this piece of junk I paid good money for. Buyer beware.

We remodeled our kitchen in 2011, bought all new appliances, all Samsung, stove, refrigerator, microwave, and dishwasher, on 12/18/2010. There are only the two of us, however I only use it when we have a full load. We rinse our dishes, therefore no smells and I keep it clean. However, it started not finishing the complete normal cycle giving me a s3 code. I had my repairman to look at it ($75). He also had a discussion with online help. We ordered the part ($50). He installed it ($100), still got the same thing and my repairman was told this may not fix it. Then we would have to order a pump, not knowing how much a pump is and $225.00 later and being told this could happen in another 2-4 years. We have bought a new dishwasher, and sure isnt a SAMSUNG. I do expect my appliances to last longer than 4 years.

Bought a Samsung refrigerator less than two years ago at Sears and it just started leaking water into the bottom drawers. Called service and were told nothing could be done, that this is a common problem with the SAMSUNG refrigerators. The ice maker will not stop making ice. In order to make it stop we have to do it manually. DONT BUY A SAMSUNG REFRIGERATOR. We will make an effort to communicate to as many thousands people as possible (how about making a viral video to show on social media?) that SAMSUNG does not care about customers problems...

Microwave Mod # SMH9187st has an enormous amount of people on line with the same problem; in the middle of the night the microwave starts beeping and SE is displayed. Only way to fix it is replace with parts that cost over a hundred $ but afraid to discover new parts may have same defect. Microwave (of course) did not stop working until after the warranty. I have had many microwaves in my life. Never ever has any of them stopped working, only just wanted a better one. Now I am forced to buy a built-in type over 600.00 at home depot because Samsung is JUNK!!!! My wife wanted a Samsung phone until I reminded her of the dead-weight junk in our kitchen. So we went with Iphones. NEVER Samsung!!! !

We made the mistake of purchasing a Samsung French door refrigerator. The compressor died and that was verified by the one repair shop within two hours that Samsung would allow to look at it. After three weeks we are filing a consumer action lawsuit in WI. When we call customer service, they have either lost what they said they had the day before or today, they need a 7000 number, a request that has not been made in the previous three weeks. Every day they say they will have an answer in 24 to 48 hours. That answer never comes. We have a B&B so have lost business. Avoid Samsung at all costs. There is no reasonable response to consumers.

We purchased this Samsung Stainless Steel Model DW80F800UWS from Best Buy as a package deal along with a fridge, oven and washer/dryer. This dishwasher has been the only problem and has been defective in the first two months after our purchase. We had a drainage error code problem which a local company contracted with Samsung came out and replaced the part. After 6 months, they had to come out again and replace test another part. These both were under warranty. A third time the same sensor had gone out and they said it wasnt under warranty and that we would have to pay $350 to fix. This was almost half the price of the product. We could not afford to fix the problem and after leaving it sit for 6 months and hand washing dishes I decided to test it to see if it would work and it has ran 5 full cycles. My only guess is that the sensor has to dry out. So after every time I wash I leave the door open to air dry the unit and wait almost 24 hours before loading it up and running it. This is a pain and I know that my working unit will soon give me that dreaded error code again and Im back to hand washing dishes. Samsung definitely should have a class action lawsuit against them for knowingly having installed faulty sensors that give out immediately and making owners annoyed but happy at a free immediate repair on them until warranty expires and then we have to spend hundreds on a part that probably cost them a few bucks to make. Id also like to include that his unit has never successfully cleaned dishes. There have always been food residue along with wet dishes after the cycle has completed. I actually had a repairmen tell me that with this unit I needed to wash the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. Also, they told me to not use tabs but to use powder so I could add twice the amount of dishwasher cleaner needed to break down food particles. I also need to run the kitchen faucet awhile before starting to get the water hot it would wash better. I, like an idiot did all of these things. Maybe if I stand on one leg and twirl around it might make it work also.

Model NE59M4310SS. Purchased my stove on May 16, 2019. Stove was delivered June 1, 2019. Only used oven once and the cook top a couple of times. One week later today, the oven and cooktop are not working!!!! The clock is okay so I know that the power is not the issue. I tried several times to troubleshoot to no effect. They cant send a tech out because its the weekend of course. Shame on Samsung for selling me a factory reject. I will never purchase anything Samsung ever again. Buyers note that model number and stay away from it.

Purchased a Samsung Dishwasher around November, just installed 2 weeks ago
Purchased a Samsung Dishwasher around November, just installed 2 weeks ago in my remodeled kitchen. It has quit. Samsung has been of no help whatsoever except tell me that I need to call the repair people they have coming out to fix it. I called the repair people since I had not heard from them about when it would be repaired after 2 days of waiting. They inform me that they will be out on 4/29 to fix it. Mind you it was the 17th of April. They dont have anything sooner. This is ridiculous since the thing shouldnt be broke to begin with! My husband and I purchased a whole kitchen full of new Samsung appliances and one already broke. WOW! Next, I called Samsung back to see if there was a different repair company that could come out. They informed me that that is the best we can do. I became even more angry since a 2 week old dishwasher shouldnt be broke to begin with. Lowes has tried to be more helpful than Samsung by checking in to see if they could do anything. When the repair person comes out I am sure that it will be another week at least having to wait on parts. Samsung should take this piece of crap back and allow me to pick another brand. I WILL NOT purchase another Samsung product after this! They dont care. I purchased their product and am now stuck. Buyer Beware!!!
