I purchased The Stainless Samsung French Door with 2 drawers - Bottom Drawe
I purchased The Stainless Samsung French Door with 2 drawers - Bottom Drawer Freezer - (Model #RF24FSEDBSR/AA) March 2016. I had issues from the first day. Ice maker was putting out approx 10 cubes per day. The cubes looked frostbitten. Water leaking from ice maker down the front of the refrigerator. Ice maker wasnt sealed properly causing moisture inside fridge. I have had many issues with the ice maker and it was replaced three times. I had another issue where my freezer stopped freezing and I lost the entire contents. Tech told me to turn it into my insurance, which I didnt. All within the first year. Since I was having so many issues Samsung gave me a free ONE TIME service call to replace another ice maker. I continued to have issues with the ice maker and it finally stopped working altogether. I thought mine was the only one. Come to find out there are so many others with the same issues. I contacted Samsung again once I knew there were ongoing issues and mine was not the only one. I explained that I had a failed back surgery with restrictions on lifting and these 20 lb bags of ice are not easily handled. I told them that I wanted what I paid for - A working fridge, freezer and ice maker. They ignored my request. This fridge was over $3000. SO FAR they have completely ignored me.

In April, we purchased a brand new Samsung dishwasher from City Furniture. This was a very special treat, as we had used free and 50.00 dishwasher all our married lives. We got a top of the line one, thinking this way, we would not have any repairs for year. How wrong we were. Within a week of having it, the dishwasher flashed a code, and quit. After calling Samsung for three weeks, City Furniture kindly replaced the unit. It ran fine..for a month. Then it quit. Multiple phone calls to Samsung, a month later... its fixed. Ran fine for 2 months. Since then, we have made many, many phone calls to Samsung. They have: Twice sent our repair request to the wrong servicemen. Escalated our call three times... No response... Who does not service this area. When they did finally get hold of the right serviceman he was beyond rude. But I guess if you are the only Samsung serviceman in the ares (he is), you can afford to piss off customers, because what else are they going to do? Then Samsung sent the wrong error code to the repairman. After a month, the part came in. Oh but wrong part, because he had the wrong code. Gave him right code. Still waiting. Months later. We have a $1000 dollar Samsung 8 month old dishwasher that has now been NOT working more often that it has worked. Another call to Samsung yesterday. Their response was well, we have to wait for the technician to file a report before we can do anything. You mean the technician who STILL HASNT COME??? Time for BBB. Do yourselves a favour. Dont buy Samsung.

On October 1, 2014 my daughter and I purchased a Samsung Dishwasher from Home Depot (Nanuet, NY) along with a 5 year extended warranty and installation. The installers took almost 3 hours to install, and just before leaving, told us that there is a slight leak under the sink - the leak was the dishwasher. This was a housewarming gift for my son. The dishwasher shuts off before completing cycle, continues to leak. He has gone personally on 3 occasions into Home Depot who absolutely refuse to help, says it is Samsungs problem. He has spoken with Samsung who refuse to replace and is surprised that Home Depot has brushed him off as they have. Samsung says they have to come to service a NEW dishwasher 3 times before replacing. They were supposed to arrive today between 9-11, and at 8:55 called to say they would be there 1-3, which meant he had to lose a day at work. When the technician came, he wasnt sure what the problem and spoke very little English, so had difficulty explaining himself - both Samsung and Home Depot continue to ignore the situation.

My beautiful Samsung French-Door Refrigerator has caused us nothing but problems. Freezing up at the back of the unit, the ice maker worked well for about 12 months and then would jam and ice over, to the point where I cant open the ice cabinet any more. Have had 2 repairs done, and $800 later its no better. It will be going out on the front lawn in about 2 weeks, as I think thats all the life that is left in her. Many of our friends have has the same issue... not sure why there hasnt been a recall on any of the parts that we had repaired. Try Googling issues with Samsung fridges - and the first thing that comes up is fridge icing over... hmm... I detect a theme here. DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG FRIDGES!!! They blow...

Drives me crazy, repaired once at less than 2 years old, considering the price we paid Im disgusted. The doors have to be forced shut, as they dont close automatically. Butter holder doesnt hold a pound of butter! Shelves barely adjust and certainly not efficient. Water seems to pool in vegetable bins. To make matters worse the fridge and in particular the freezer is always covered in weird patterns as if the moisture is escaping somehow to just under the stainless steel. Will never ever purchase a Samsung anything again and I think Ill stick to low end because it seems like everything breaks down after 2 years regardless of the price.

Two delivered within 30 days, and both had a computer issue: I purchased the 25.6 cubic foot French door Samsung refrigerator in November 2012. I had been told by salesmen at two different stores that Samsung was the best refrigerator you could buy. I took their word for it and stopped looking at any other brands. When my fridge was delivered and set up, the delivery man said he was pushing the power freeze button to cool it off quickly so I could put my food back in. He mentioned that it would go off on its own once it had cooled down. I noticed that it stayed on -8 degrees for day. I kept thinking there was a problem with the freezer temperature setting. Finally, I called Samsung and was told that if I unplugged it and plugged it back it, that would take care of the problem. Instead, it plummeted to -8 again, although the freezer was set on 0. I finally figured out that the power freeze button was not turning itself off like it should. Samsung says it should stay on approximately 1 1/2 hour then shut off. Feeling like I had purchased a lemon, I requested a different one. The store very graciously brought out another new refrigerator. After the delivery men left, the first thing I did was push power freeze to see what happened. Would you believe that it also never went off? Wondering if other people had experienced the same thing, I searched on the internet and found this forum. I am so grateful to have found out the problems that exist with Samsung refrigerators before my 30 days are up. I now have 5 days left to request it to be picked up and my money returned. I have also talked with a few servicemen who have told me that they would never own a Samsung. I will say that the look and feel of the Samsung is wonderful. I dont think it will be possible to find any other brand that I like better as far as the inside set up, durable feeling of the shelves and bins; but looking pretty isnt worth anything if it isnt reliable.

We a little over a year ago purchased a house full of Samsung appliances starting with washer and dryer, liking both the look and the way they worked. When we were ready to redo the kitchen we decided to purchase fridge, stove, dishwasher and microwave all Samsung. The fridge shortly after installed developed water stain in the screen of water dispenser, however since we were 1 day past the original purchase date the warranty was up and Samsung would not help us, and also said a water stain would be considered cosmetic, however now we smelled something burning and now you can see burn area around water spot in water dispenser screen. Not please with Samsung service after spending so much with a house full of Samsung appliances.

Don’t buy the 4 door flex. Purchased 2 years ago. Paid more than we have ever paid for a Refrigerator. I was so excited because I wanted an all Refrigerator but wanted a door ice and water dispenser. This was perfect. All was great the first year, then the ice maker quit working. It was extremely difficult to open and when we did it was jammed with ice cubes and ice on the side and frozen ice on the bottom. Had to use a ice pick and hot water to clear it out. When we looked online we found many complaints regarding the same issue. Now EVERY 2 weeks it freezes up. It takes 18 hours to get ice again after I spend 30 minutes clearing and cleaning it out. The amount of ice it produces is very small. I regret this purchase. Don’t buy it unless you don’t need ice.

I purchased this refrigerator in December 2011. It worked like a charm until earlier this year, when the warranty ran out. We had ice build up in back of fridge. Called for service and the first person did not look at the issue; he just ordered the part and we had to pay before it was delivered to us. Second repair person was terrific. He fixed the problem and found the original issue which was a part the first guy never ordered. We thought we were all set for another five years. Now the freezer has ice buildup under the drawer and the door binds when closing. I hate to spend another 500 dollars and not know what will happen next. We will definitely not be buying Samsung appliances in the future.

The ice maker started freezing up in the first year. We are into our second year and it still has to be defrosted every week. What a waste of money. You would think that Samsung would make this right for all the customers that have had this problem. I have family members that have the same issues same brand. I purchased a new Samsung side by side refrigerator freezer with ice maker in 2016. I have had a service technician come out to fix it 3 times. The first time the freezer wouldnt work. Come to find out it was frozen up. A temp control issue. After that got fixed a few months later the ice maker stopped working, now last but most definitely not least I found out today that the compressor is bad and I paid extra money for it good product and boy was I mistaken. DONT THROW AWAY YOUR MONEY! If you want to throw money away buy one of these terrible pieces of junk. I am sorely dissatisfied with the product and their willingness to fix the problems. Read some reviews from others and youll see. Buy about any other brand and youd be better off than me.

The oven temperature climbs and lowers all during the baking process. Totally inconsistent. Horrible for baking cakes! I bought a portable oven thermometer to monitor it. I can set the oven for 350 and the actual temp in the oven will be 375 one minute and 325 a few minutes later. There is also a 25 degree temperature variance from front to back and side to side in the oven. Forget cooking more than one item at the same temperature. When you buy such a big oven you plan on being able to utilize the space by cooking more than one item, but beware, they will be cooking at different temperatures. The top low burner is not low at all. It boils everything. The long middle high burner is okay on one end and way too crazy hot on the other end with flames so tall they lap over my skillet. The Samsung name on the top front/center of the stove is stickers. Each letter gradually slides off from the heat of the stove.

The refrigerator works well, but I clean it weekly to keep in good condition. Its heavy so moving to clean vents behind is a chore, but I do it at least every 6 months to keep it going. Some of the plastic parts just snap and break apart. All of my plastic drawers for vegetables/fruits and frozen foods broke and are held together with rubber bands. Water dispenser works fine but filters expensive and the area where the water comes out has rusted onto the door. But hasnt broken in 5 years. Ice dispenser works best on cubes, but not crushed ice.

This is ongoing problem since more than one month. I called Trail Appliances technician. First visit the technician said “problem with your filter” – totally wrong diagnosis. Second time the technician came he tried for 1 hr – no clue and he said will come again. Third time he came and he thinks it might be control panel (but he is not sure). When I talk to manager he said max the part cost will be $250 and they ordered the part even without my concern. Now parts came to their branch and was waiting for their call. When no call came I called them and they said we called on May 20/2016. No one has replied. Was just wrong. Now the part value is $500. Almost doubles. The customer service is very unprofessional from Trail Appliances. I feel like they are looting. With this problem there was a flooding on my floor and the wooden floor get damaged. Ceiling in basement also get damaged and estimated expense of $15000 for this faulty Samsung French door refrigerator and the technician they dont have a clue whats wrong. Talk to Samsung but they are also not cooperative and the worst service I have received from Samsung and Trail Appliances. Not sure what to do next. Any comments from these affairs guys?

It would never dry the dishes. Now, our refrigerator is broken. I am fairly handy, so I was able to fix it myself. However, I needed to know the correct part number to order for my french door. So I called customer service only to be told that they were not allowed to give part numbers out over the telephone. They would ship it to me at a cost that was double what I could get it for on Amazon. They then directed me to their website, where I could look the part number up myself. In November 2015 we purchased a Samsung Electric Range with Black Stainless finish. The model number is NE59J7630SG, recently we have noticed that the paint is flaking off around the oven door. Your hands do not come in contact with this area. We contacted Samsung and they told us it was too bad but they call it a cosmetic issue, so it is not covered under any warranty. The Best Buy protection policy does not cover it as well. After viewing many complaints about Samsungs Black stainless issues on the internet, both ranges and refrigerators we decided to push the issue. Samsung said they would send a repair person out but if the issue was deemed cosmetic we would have to pay the $200.00 service call. We have sent pictures and done everything they wanted and they will not back the product. It is my (and many others) opinion that appliances should not have paint peeling off of them after 2 1/2 years.

In July 2013, we bought a Samsung 3 door refrigerator with drawer for about $2,000.00. There was a manufacturers defect in one of the electrical cords attached to the drawer, which was repaired here. In January 2013, the refrigerator and freezer stopped cooling and freezing, so we called HH Gregg and were automatically connected to Samsung. Samsung did not dispatch a repairman, but instead said someone would get back to us. We waited all day as our food began to spoil, and called HH Gregg local number and asked for a store manager. He told us he would send an email to HH Greggs corporate office, and they would replace the refrigerator, which might take a week, and that another store employee, Beth, would call us back and set us up with a loaner refrigerator. When Beth did not call, we called her, and she said she had no such authority. I asked to speak to the manager again, and she connected me to Jeff, another person, who informed me that the store does not issue loaners and that there would not be a replacement refrigerator from HH Gregg. We called Samsung several times also, and they continued to say that someone would get back to us in 24 to 48 hours. At this point, we regret dealing with HH Gregg, and we regret buying a Samsung. I definitely do not recommend HH Gregg for any reason, and think people should avoid them entirely. As to Samsung, I am stuck with a lemon and will have to deal with their impossibly frustrating and slow customer service for the remainder of the time the refrigerator is under warranty. I have read several horror stories about Samsung, including 7 repairs in 4 years, at **. In summation, HH Gregg sells shoddy merchandise. No refrigerator should break twice in the first 7 months of ownership. Furthermore, HH Gregg does not stand behind its merchandise. Even thought we did not buy an extended warranty, they should take the refrigerator back and give us our money back, so we can buy a working refrigerator.

I bought this refrigerator/freezer, Model # RF26XAEPN43FE4BZ100091T, in latter part of March or early April 2010. The refrigerator stopped cooling on Thanksgiving evening. I had to rent a refrigerator to store all of my leftover food. Plus the other items I had in the refrigerator. It was under warranty. The repairman didnt come until the next week. It was frozen in the back. It was repaired and two other times the same thing happened. When the warranty ran out, I gave up on having it fixed. It began to freeze all of vegetables and fruits. Also, anything liquid. I called Samsung Tuesday 5/02/2017. I was told that I would have to have a technician come out and assess the problem. I called again on 5/03/2017. Silly me I thought that they were going to cover the $125.00 for the tech. I proceeded to question the person that I was talking to. He kept putting me on hold, because he could not answer my questions.I finally asked if I could send a letter or speak to someone who could authorize payment for the tech and the repairs. I was told that my appliance was out of warranty. I already knew that. The phone person told me someone higher up will contact me. The odds of that happening are less than one out of a trillion. My icemaker does not work. The door freezes; I stopped messing with it. I just wanted to vent my frustration, so now I have. I will never buy another Samsung product. I have been unable to locate my receipt; I bought the product at Lowes in Newport News, VA.

I called a Samsung-authorized repair company to fix the ice maker in my 4-door refrigerator/freezer. The ice maker kept icing over and stopping. The technician was familiar with the problem because Samsung had sent out a service notice to the effect that this ice maker was defective in many of this model refrigerator. Although this is a known defect, Samsung does not support its product if the problem becomes evident after the 1-year warranty has expired. My refrigerator is 2 years old. I have the same problems with the others. Right now I water in both my veggies/fruits bins and underneath the bins are water and frozen ice. Also, the ice maker keeps making ice even though it is full; therefore, all the overflow ice fell down under the freezer drawer. Every time I open the freezer drawer, ices will fall out onto my kitchen floor and I can also see there are a lot of ice stuck all the way in the back of the freezer. I either have to use a long stick to brush them out. It is a major headache with Samsung as they are the worst company I have to deal with. Samsung is very unreliable and irresponsible for their products, keep saying they wont fix my refrigerator because 1 year warranty is over. In order for them to fix, they will charge me a fee to come by to take a look at it and any repairs they will do. I see other Samsung models have the similar problems as mine but how come this model of mine isnt on the Class Action Suit Settlement. Samsung RF263 French Door with bottom freezer - We bought this less than 3
Samsung RF263 French Door with bottom freezer - We bought this less than 3 years ago. The first BRAND NEW fridge we have ever purchased. We got it because it was supposed to be excellent and we were told that Samsung is reliable. Im a teacher who spends extremely long hours at work and my husband travels for his job. We NEED reliable. The first few months, I noticed mold in the door seals. Weird, I thought. It seems like the seals on the doors are not very good, then -- and then the freezer would build up all kinds of horrible frost on the outside AND inside of things. It would do this off and on for no rhyme or reason.... Then, a few weeks ago, everything in the back of the fridge started to freeze. Not a lot, just a little. I checked temps, etc, moved stuff around. My summer vacation just began (this is when teachers actually begin to have semi-normal lives, go on Dr. appts, fix appliances, etc), and we went out of town for the weekend. When we returned early today in order to go to a funeral, I heard the fridge making an odd sound. Opened it up, and the entire back is iced over, just dripping in mini-ice bergs. We empty the whole thing, try to remove the back -- no dice. It wont budge. We use a hairdryer to remove the ice and let it sit while we attend the funeral (freezer is working alright, or at least as okay as it ever was, which isnt so great). We come home and it is not working. At all. I looked online and saw literally DOZENS of complaints, all the same.We are thinking we will just go out and purchase a new fridge -- costs of repair will probably be as much as a new one eventually. Based on reviews, it looks like it would do no good to keep repairing it over and over. This LEMON that we paid a HUGE price for is wasting our time. Im thinking of going back to Craigs list and purchasing a second hand fridge -- they run for years!!!!! Im SO angry!

I purchased a Samsung DMT300 dishwasher last year. Shortly after I bought it, it started to smell horrible. No matter how I tried to clean it or adjust the drain hose, it still stinks. It smells like sour milk and rotten food. It hardly cleans the dishes even on the longest cycle with the Sanitize button pressed. All our glasses are covered with food particles. It is absolutely disgusting! We pre-rinse and run it almost everyday. I HATE this dishwasher!!! My cheap builders grade Whirlpool was 1000 times better. This is my worst purchase ever!

This ice in the refrigerator has not been usable since we got it because of the odor. Changing the filter every six months doesnt help. The ice build-up under the meat drawer has also been a non-stop problem. We just went out and purchased a new one and will never buy another Samsung product because their customer service just doesnt care after multiple calls over the years. We just saw another couple in Lowes buying a new one also who had the same problems and the same model. I would suggest Samsung stick with TVs.

We bought the Samsung french door with lower pull out door freezer. We had trouble from the beginning getting it to maintain the correct temperature in the freezer portion of the refrigerator. We purchased the appliance through Home Depot and they sent the approved tech who replaced the digital sensors and panels. Still, the refrigerator did not get down to nor maintain the required temp.We had the repairman out again; they replace more items. We removed the ice maker altogether and no difference ensued. My husband went back to Home Depot yesterday asking that they replace this fairly expensive appliance and we were told that since the warranty had run out that they would not be replacing it. What does this mean? If we had not bought the warranty and just had them out over and over would it have forced a replacement? These digital display and sensor units are just not engineered well! We will not ever buy another and are thinking of looking for older refrigerators at vintage repair places. Apparently the idea is to get us used to expecting **, buying warranties and subsidizing the industry! !

The refrigerator was delivered in Dec. 2012. We have had parts replaced and a new door on the freezer side put on (side by side refrigerator) for the same issue. The ice maker freezes and jambs up and will not make cubes or while on cube setting you get crushed ice or no ice at all. Samsung states they only have one service call on record which was Jan. 2013 - I think they make up stories. They must have a record of the service companies who replaced parts at no charge to us. The company does not stand by its products. There is a recall I am told on this ice maker issue, but the representatives do not know about that I assume since it was not mentioned to me. The service man that came today told me about it. Oh another service man is coming Monday with a part. I feel Samsung thinks we all just fell off a turnip truck.

Very unhappy with Samsung dishwasher that lasted 18 months and 3 repair persons. All said it needed a new circuit board, which we ordered and the dishwasher still did not work. Like most of the respondents here, I will never consider the purchase of another Samsung product. Unfortunately in our current age, we are all well aware that companies simply dont have our best interests in mind. Samsung, however, rises to new levels of bureaucratic road blocks to service. More importantly is the fact they not only obscure what has transpired and been discussed previously, but just bold faced lie about they have or have not said.We purchased a large black side-by-side refrigerator in April of 2011. We have had more or less constant problems ever since (as mentioned elsewhere, the ice maker is a nightmare). We finally gave up on ever getting any service from Samsung. They have 2 certified repairmen in Hawaii (many repair services are qualified, but not certified, which means they cant perform warranty service). The demise of the refrigerator and our relationship with Samsung began its culmination last year when we had to pay out of pocket to replace the Motherboard, $400.00. Them 3 weeks ago the freezer stopped working. I got my previous non-certified repairman to check it out. He said the compressor had died. The good news is that its covered under warranty and most manufacturers will just refund some portion of the purchase price. After getting a hold of Samsung, I was told they would get a repair person out in 2 weeks (**). 3 days later, the refrigerator component also ceased working. I called Samsung back and demanded to be connected with the next level of service. This time I was told that they agree the wait was unacceptable and I would be refunded a portion of the purchase price. Oh, and by the way, despite the fact that I had previously been assured that the repair company (an 800 service) would have the necessary parts when they arrived, they had not in fact ordered any parts! In case youre wondering about the refund, they now contend that that option had never been discussed (**).So not only was I told that it would be 2 weeks to get a repair person out, but they would then have to order parts. I live in Hawaii, so its a foregone conclusion that the wait for those parts will be inordinate. After stewing about this for several days, I again contacted Samsung and this time I was informed that I had been informed that the repairs would not be covered by Samsung because it was out of warranty. I emphatically stated that no such thing had ever been discussed! The compressor is covered for 5 years. They eventually agreed that the compressor was still covered, then they hemmed and hawed, but in the end I was left without a working refrigerator and a many month repair process, if at all. Bottom line folks, avoid all Samsung products like the plague. I wish I had read these comments before I considered my purchase!

4 years ago we bought a Samsung French door fridge from the local Best Buy store. This summer the fridge started making loud noises like a fan rubbing at speed. Turns out it was due to ice build up on the back wall of the fridge compartment. We moved the contents to the 20 year old Amana fridge in the garage and defrosted the Samsung for the weekend. less than a week later it was all iced up again. Since Best Buy requires all our personal information just to talk to someone about how much it will cost to have a tech come out and service the fridge, we contacted a local repair shop and they said its a known problem and that the Samsung repair doesnt work so they were reluctant to even schedule a tech.A week later the water dispenser button broke and while trying to fix that we noticed the 800 number for Samsung. I called them and a very pleasant fellow after reviewing the photos I sent issued a one time free repair service. #**. 24 hours later they call to say there are no available service providers within a hundred miles. They suggest I call Samsung appliance service who tell me since its not the ice maker they wont repair it and I should just call a repair service on my own dime.So I have a Samsung fridge that ices up and is causing food to spoil. Up to a quart of water collects under the Cool Select Pantry tray, that is also cracked. A broken water dispenser and an all-round piece of junk for a fridge backed up buy a we dont give a darn manufacturer. Wish we had read the reviews before we bought this because like so many others I will NEVER recommend a Samsung appliance. Bad design and worse service. The Samsung experience.

Samsung refrigerator model #RF263BEAEWW. It has now been 3 1/2 years since I have owned this refrigerator and the door continues to rust. I placed a call to Samsung one year ago and was told that it is merely cosmetic and therefore isnt covered. I believe it is some sort of manufacturing defect! Its a shame to spend $1,800 on a refrigerator that is rusting. I have had to baby the machine and make sure it never gets wet around the ice maker and etc. to keep it from really getting bad. By the way, my refrigerator is white and not stainless like some of the others that are rusting. I also own a Samsung front load washer and within the first year of owning it, I had to have it serviced twice. They finally had to replace a pretty expensive part. Never again Samsung!! Samsung sent certified company to determine if under warranty, who confirmed under warranty. Though they were Samsung certified, they were not warranty work certified and they were supposed to report back to Samsung. Waited a long time on hold, Samsung said their recommended company did not report back. Waited on hold a long time, and Samsung cant schedule a warranty company to fix this for another five days. We have been without a refrigerator for over three weeks. This has not been a good experience for our family of five. We have been without a refrigerator for a long time and no confidence that this company that is supposed to fix the refrigerator will be competent.

I have had this dishwasher running now for a month. From the first load it has not washed my dishes properly. I always have food particles left on my dishes. I had a service tech come out and state, that is how Samsung dishwashers perform. You have to wash your dishes in order for it to wash the dishes. When I called Samsung to complain and verify what the tech stated, they initially told me that no pre-rinsing or pre-washing was required. But 5 minutes into the conversation, they tell me that the tech is correct, dishes must be pre-washed and pre-rinsed.The service tech had also told me that the Samsung dishwashers are notorious for leaking. He has to replace hoses and units all the time because the plastic tubing gets pin hole leaks from wear and tear off the hot water coming in and out of it. Buyer be aware! Now I go back to Home Depot and they will not return or exchange the product because it has been more than 48 hours since we have had it (but less than 90 days from purchase, and less than 30 from installation - and installation was paid for separately when we were ready to install as we were going through a kitchen renovation and needed more time for the cabinets to be completed). Reading on these Consumer Affair complaints, it looks like its time for a class action lawsuit.

We purchased a Samsung microwave, range and refrigerator and have nothing but problems with all of them. The microwave literally didnt work when it was installed and needed to be replaced. The refrigerator needed 3 service calls and finally had the ice maker replaced. A shelf in the door of the refrigerator cracked and broke after 14 months (with yogurts in it) and now I need to buy another because it is past 12 months from purchase. The range has had 5 service calls and still not right. The stovetop cooks very hot. When the burners are on the lowest setting the fluid in the pan boils. The convection oven does nothing that a convection oven is supposed to do. It does not cook evenly nor faster at all. The left side of the oven cooks hotter than the right even after services calls with Samsung finally saying they cannot guarantee even cooking in the oven. For example if I have 2 bread loaves in the oven one will be done and the other is still raw inside. Everything that is cooked needs to be monitored because every time I cook it requires a different time to cook properly. Will never again purchase a Samsung appliance. Poor product with worse customer service.

Samsung French Door Refrigerator - Model # RF263BEAESR/AA - BEWARE ----> BAD PRODUCT & BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE ----> SAMSUNG. $2,000 refrigerator with ice maker that has not worked properly since day one. Samsung warranty repaired twice in first year. Ice maker would work for a week or two then frost up and leak water on inside, collect then leak out doors making a mess all over floor. After several frustrating calls to Samsungs resolution department I received another service call outside of warranty (1 year) to replace several parts and defrost element. This did not fix the problem and ice maker frosted up a couple weeks later. Requested service AGAIN and waited 1 month without a response. Finally was told Samsung would not repair or service further and I should contact a service center to pay for another repair. Note: Service techs both told me the icemakers are a HUGE PROBLEM for Samsung. What a freaking joke! Samsung is making a piece of crap and is failing to support and/or correct this. I purchased a Samsung slide in electric range almost 3 weeks ago. Within 10 days, the oven warming burner and clock all stopped working. We had a Samsung tech come out three days later. After testing the unit, he determined that both boards in the unit were bad and needed to be replaced. He left us telling us the parts would be ordered and he would be back about midweek to make the repairs. That evening we decided to use the cooktop on the stove since it was the only thing working. We were making hamburgers in an All clad pan. When we finished cooking I went to wipe the cooktop and that is when I noticed the crack. It ran from front to back on the cooktop. We contacted the tech again and he asked for pictures of the cooktop. We waited a few days and were surprised to hear that Samsung was not going to cover the cooktop. I was quite upset and contacted the company only to be given the runaround. I was told that they could would not authorize the repair even though I explained that we did not dry boil a pan on the cooktop as Samsung alleges we did. To top it all off, now Samsung wont authorize replacements of the boards for the oven. So now we have an 1800.00 range in our kitchen that displays the time set by the technician last Saturday. I am totally happy with the services that I have received from Best Buy & the Geek Squad, however, I am so dissatisfied with the Samsung appliances. In 7/2018, the ice maker went out (Samsung provides no services!!!). I was told that the ice maker was not properly sealed & the Geek Squad replaced the ice maker. Then 10/2018, brown rust started to form on the bottom corners of the water shoot. The Geek Squad had to replace the entire door. 12/2018, the trim at the base of the oven door (which was glued on) came apart & the Geek Squad had to come back out & reattach it. And now, 12/18/18, as I was cooking dinner & steam was coming from the pot with vegetables (which is a normal thing) in it on the back burn, the stove’s back (oven, timer, & clock is located) started to discolor (my appliances are black!!). So now I have this spot on my stove. I was going to purchase the black Samsung washer & dryer, but after what I’ve experience with the kitchen appliances, there’s no way under the sun I’m going to purchase their washer & dryer. Bought a Samsung electric range (NE595R0ABSR) a little over 3 yrs ago and last week the circuit board caught on fire. Called Samsung about it and they told me that they would take care of the parts required, and all I had to do was pay for the installation from the contracted service repair. Now the third party service repair company told me that I had to pay for the parts and not the repair. The cost of parts a little over $430.00. Might as well buy a new stove and it will certainly not be a Samsung. Hopefully a class action lawsuit will come out against Samsung for their highly dangerous stove. I seen on a Canadian website that a few of them had the exact same problem. I will ensure that all Airmen under my command know what horrible customer service Samsung has and how dangerous their products are. I do not want any of them to have to worry about problems from their appliances when they are deployed.

We were renovating our kitchen so we were not able to install it until about a month and a half after receiving it from the store. It did not work. Lights just flashed on the display and that’s all it did. No one informed us when we bought the set that there was a 30 day replacement clause, Samsung insisted on fixing it and would not exchange it. 4 visits from a tech and a month and a half later the dishwasher is finally fixed. They replaced all boards inside as well as the door switch and wiring harness. Still not working. We paid for a proper working dishwasher and are left with a refurbished unit if they ever get it working. Samsung was not helpful at all. Not willing to stand behind their products even when it arrived with a factory flaw. I purchased my Samsung electric range Model NE597R0ABSR in September of 2014 from Nebraska Furniture Mart in Kansas City, Kansas. Last week on 08/10/2017 the oven suddenly caught on fire when I turned the oven on. Nothing in the oven. The control panel read that the temperature of the oven was only 275 degrees. I just heard a clicking noise and then a small boom and I could see my oven was on fire through the glass. Smoke alarm went off, and I got the fire out without getting hurt. The heating element in the oven had caught fire on its left side and was melted. The lens around the light was also scorched and then there was all the damage to the walls of the oven being scorched, the oven door glass was also scorched and damaged. I was very lucky that I was still in my kitchen when it caught fire or else I imagine more damage would have occurred to my kitchen and home. Of course being 3 years old it was no longer under warranty, but from the number of complaints on this same issue with Samsung ranges which not only includes my model number but other Samsung models it appears to be a manufacturing defect. I called Samsung customer service 1-800-726-7864 and told them what happened and they said it was no longer under warranty. I said to them that it looked like a manufacturing defect and was told well manufacturing defects were only covered for 1 year (ridiculous). The stove is a fire hazard. I unplugged the stove after I got the fire out. Then the Samsung customer service rep I talked to the 3rd time finally said that they would sent an authorized repair service to my home to evaluate the damage. Samsung would pay for the service evaluation and the labor to replace the parts, BUT NOT THE PARTS. Turned out that when the tech took the back off of the stove, it was the wiring harness that had been on fire also, plus the circuit board was damaged and that was just what he could see without taking it apart any further. Turned out the circuit board, the wiring harness and oven heating element parts would be a whopping $420.00. That was just the beginning, then there would be another $60 charge for the tech to come back. I told the repair service I was not paying for any parts and would not be having the stove repaired and it was ridiculous for me to have to pay anything at all for Samsungs negligence in manufacturing a stove with so many defects. An electric stove should never just catch on fire because the oven was turned on, and the wiring harness shouldnt have caught fire ever. That $1000.00 stove should have lasted more than 3 years. Samsung obviously does not care about their customers, or their well being, and I will never buy another Samsung product. So many of their appliances have exploded, caught on fire that it is ridiculous that these same products continue to be sold to the unsuspecting US public.

I agree with all other complaints. I have had this dishwasher (Samsung dishwasher DMT800) since October 2010. I have always had problems since the beginning. I had to replace plastic raisers on top rack at least 3 times and another is breaking. It does not clean dishes. I have to use heavy load just to get a little cleaner. Plastic detergent door doesnt always open. I cannot put any dishes close at all. My other dishwasher (in the old home rental) still works great. I wish I still had it. I have tried several different ways to get better cleaning from the dishwasher. I should not have to baby this machine to clean my dishes. I have an OE error now. I purchased it at Lowes and extended warranty. I called on 02/03/13 and cannot look for service until 02/13/2013. Very inconvenient. I actually have shopped for a new one. Does not have rinse, only cycle. I was told by the salesman it did. All I want is a dishwasher you can use rinse only and put dishes in and have clean dishes. Not too much to ask!

I have multiple Samsung products and thought I could trust them. I purchased a French Door bottom freezer about 3 years ago (model # RF267ACRS/XAA) from Sears and luckily bought the rather expensive Master Service Agreement with a 3-year extension (a rip-off because the 1st year is supposed to be manufacturer covered). Fridge worked fine for 2 years. Then we noticed ice freezing up on the back panel of the fridge compartment. The fan started making a loud noise, and we called Sears (who owns their A&E service dept they send out, a major conflict of interest) and the tech melted the ice and said he cleaned out a drain. Fridge seemed to work for about another 4 months, then ice was building up again on the panel that stores the twin cooling system. Another tech call takes 2 weeks to get problem resolved. A new panel is installed and tech tells us he sees this problem frequently. I also have noticed the problem posted by many people on the internet. I expect that the back panel will once again freeze up. My next step is to contact Samsung to see if they have recommendations or can replace our faulty fridge, but do not expect results as it has been 3 years since we bought the $2600 fridge. With warranties, it has cost us more than $3500. Maybe someone will start up a class action lawsuit against Samsung as this appears to be a systemic quality issue. Does anyone know if one has been started?

Purchased this dishwasher 2 years ago, nothing but trouble. Doesnt dry properly, the LED control started to fail, now it starts then drains and shuts down. These units do not run past 2 years. Samsung wont help you with anything once out of the 1 year warranty. Nothing but a piece of junk. Just like the other comments these electronics do not stand up. These units should be priced out at $100 rather than $1000. There should be a class action suit placed on this manufacturer for selling poor quality products.

Weve called customer service for Samsung several times. They were not helpful and they did not support the customer need. Samsung knows of a faulty design on the icemakers of their refrigerators yet refuses to acknowledge and make it right for their customers. There is currently an open class action lawsuit for this problem, yet Samsung customer service wants to charge its customers to send technicians out to repair knowing that the icemaker will become faulty again. I am very dissatisfied with Samsung products and will not be purchasing or referring their product again.

I ended up buying the $35 keypad/touchpad part # DE34-00330C (keypad with ribbon cable that plugs into the circuit board behind it). My microwave is now working and happy. Im glad it worked because the parts store said the circuit board is no longer available.

I’ve had it serviced just this year four times already. The last time the service man said I’m giving you back all your money except the first service call, go buy yourself a new refrigerator. I am having too many issues with the Samsung Model RS261MDRS-XAA side by side which was built in July 2013. In 2015, it started freezing things such as milk, fruits etc. So end up putting new damper and main board through Samsung repair center website recommendation. It did cost quite a bit that time. Now water dispenser gets stuck when ever I use it and water keeps coming. I called Sears service this time and was told to change the main board. I dont think I am ready to spend more money on this faulty piece. Probably will not buy another Samsung product.

Five ice maker repairs, water in floor, 80 degrees in fridge side and the clicking of the fan as it starts hitting ice buildup and then dies a painful death. This refrigerator is truly junk and is not inexpensive. I have had it four years and as I type this it is not working. Tech suppose to come Tuesday the 14th of August. RF266ABPN - Wrote a complaint on here in August 2013 about our Samsung 2-door fridge which kept pooling water and the back inside kept freezing with frost. We spent so much time always removing items, defrosting, scooping out water, etc. etc. UPDATE!! Finally hubby was able to fix problem himself. We have had no problems for 2+ years. He turned off energy saver mode and put paper clips in the drain tubes located at the bottom back of fridge to keep them open. They are used as spacers so probably any similar item would work. We are still not sure if the energy saver turnoff or paper clips did the trick but... after countless repairman and useless Samsung, just wanted to report what worked for us! No problems for 2+ years! I weirdly got a reminder about this review so came here and saw still horrific reviews... Hope this helps at least one person!Updated on 08/11/2018: We officially gave up on this refrigerator and brand in 2016. Our original problem (freezing/icing over) came back in full force, freezing, motoring, water pooling, even after my husband was able to temporarily fix it. Bottomline: We took it to the dump, This model is severely flawed.

We purchased our refrigerator in 2012. It has been a problem since we purchased it! The ice maker on top stopped working first. Then the bottom one had so much ice in it that when I tried to open the freezer door the plastic thing inside the ice bin snapped off. Now we have water accumulating in the drawer of the refrigerator. I have read many reviews and posts from here and the Samsung website that are all the same. No help. The lady answered the phone gave me the number to Samsung. They offered no help except to say I have to wait 24 hours. I wished they would have told me that before my old fridge was towed out! Meanwhile Ive bought cheaper refrigerators and they were cold in less than an hour. $1400.00 fridge, 24 hours. Go figure. I purchased a Samsung RF323TEDBSA three door refrigerator February 2013 and have had terrible issues with both ice makers and front door water dispenser and overall think the stainless finish is impossible to clean. The front door water dispenser always drips down the front of the refrigerator requiring constant cleaning and absolutely nothing cleans this poor quality of stainless. I have tried everything! The bottom freezer is not working at all and will not reset. The top freezer has to be defrosted monthly with a hairdryer and reset, to get any ice. Even after those bizarre behaviors, the ice is always wet, very slow to make and drop and always mixes at least 5 or so tablespoons of water in with the ice (and again drips down the front of the refrigerator). I actually bought two of the same refrigerators for two different homes and absolutely think both are just junk. What a joke... As I thought I was buying a higher end appliance! Just another comment, on the Samsung microwave I bought at the same time... Junk. I had to fixed the cracked plastic on the door hinge myself with a You Tube video and rubber band, just so the door would close so the appliance would work... After two years of use (mostly reheating food). I caution all appliance buyers to stay away from Samsung appliances, regardless of the model. Also, getting service without paying an arm and a leg is impossible.

BEST ADVICE WE CAN GIVE IS DO NOT BUY A SAMSUNG REFRIGERATOR!! Bad design and poor to NO customer service. HERE IS OUR STORY: After 3 months refrigerator stopped cooling. Door said 36 degrees inside was 50 degrees. Called customer service and they said they could not get anyone out for 2 weeks. So milk products spoiled first and then other food stuffs if we did not eat it quickly.Tech made some sensor repairs which did not fix the problem. Called back in a week and it took a week to get a tech out this time. More repairs and he had to order another part. 2 weeks later tech made final repair and the refrig worked for 6 months and then started to not cool again. We called and said this was the 3rd time it failed and we wanted our money back. Take the refrig and give us our money back. That was Sept 2013. It is now Feb 2014 and have called almost weekly which is a minimum of 30 to 45 min on the phone ea time repeating the same information over and over, sent their required documentation in 2 times and ea time they say it will be reviewed and someone will call.NO ONE HAS EVER CALLED TO CLOSE THIS OUT!!! Oh, they did a very sneaky trick of not closing the ticket out after each repair, even though they DID DO 3 DIFFERENT REPAIRS. Customer service said that this was in effect only one repair for the same problem, but I watch and I know they did 3 different repairs to try and fix the same problem, not cooling in the freezer and in the refrig part. We have even tried getting the company we bought it from to help but they cannot get SAMSUNG to address it. So we had to buy another refrig in middle of December 2013 and push the junk Samsung one over to the side.

We have had the Samsung dishwasher about 4 years and this is the 4th time we have had the same trouble. The machine comes on and then you can hear the water going to the washer and then you hear it pumping out. Then the lights come on indicating low water level. According to the owner manual the first it happen it was still in warranty. The repairman came out and replaces a sensor box on the side of the washer. The second time it happen about a year later my husband took the sensor box off and replaced it. It wasnt under warranty. We cant afford to call the repairman. The last time I took everything from the washer and ran a couple cups of vinegar through a cycle and it has worked fine until this time I tried to run the washer again with vinegar but it didnt work. I will never get another Samsung appliance again. We also have a refrigerator that has some problems but thank the Good Lord it still works. The model # for the dishwasher is DMT 400RHSAAX. SN is A3JAG9MZ A03217D. We bought the dishwasher at Sears in Shelby NC.

I am responding to a 12/28/2013 customers input and what he did to service his Samsung Dishwasher. I found his input very useful info as it gave me the confidence to pursue tackling the problem myself. I found the rubber check valve that he mentioned. I did not notice that it was stuck open, but I am assuming it might have been. On my model, DMT800RHS, the valve looks to be removable and replaceable. I did not try to remove it, but I did try to clean the surface with my finger. I also took the opportunity to clean my dishwasher parts thoroughly. There are several areas that trap food particles and eventually the food rots and smells. I will make that regular task from now on as eating food cleaned from an unclean device is as bad as taking a shower in a moldy shower stall... maybe worse. I hope this helps other people out there dealing with this problem.

Finally got the sealed system replaced and it failed 30 days later. I spent countless hours on the phone with Samsung trying to get a refund. After four months with a too warm fridge, and 4-5 hours a week on the phone with Samsung, sending documentation over and over as they continually “lost” documents emailed and faxes, I finally got my refund. Model RF266AEPN, french door model. Purchased spring 2011. At four years old had to be serviced for the ice dam at the back of the refrigerator causing the fan attached to the evaporator to be compromised and sound as if the refrigerator was about to blow up. The repairman warned me that this was a common problem with Samsung and tried to sell me an extended warranty. I declined. Unfortunately I should have listened because six months later its the same old problem. Today after viewing loads of YouTube videos and reading the commentary I have no doubt this is a widespread problem with every type of Samsung refrigerator including side by side and bottom mount. The suspected causes for the malfunction range from the temperature sensor, to the heating tube around the evaporator coil, to clogged drain, to bad relay switches in the computer module, to poor software. Knowledgeable people seem to fix the problem only to have it occur again. Also made the mistake of buying a Samsung above the stove microwave that makes enough noise that I wonder if it too will blow up on me.

I purchased my Samsung refrigerator in 2015 from Home Depot. I will never buy Samsung again nor an appliance from Home Depot. Approximately 6 months ago I noticed bubbling of the finish on the front with peeling. This includes the left door where the ice maker is located, the drawer and the freezer drawer. The surfaces are raised from the inside out which to me indicates rust. As I began my process to complain I began with Home Depot who informed me my extended warranty didnt cover cosmetic problems. From there directly to Samsung who has consistently refused to stand behind their product. Almost telling me it is my fault. Well what about quality of the product and consumer satisfaction? In the business we own, quality is our most important aspect. Without good quality and willingness to stand behind your products you are nothing. No more Samsung for this family. We purchased our Samsung stainless steel french door fridge 1 yr 4 months ago. (FModel # RF261B EAESR). Yesterday I noticed the right door was slightly lower than left door by looking at the top. The same day I went to open the door and it came crashing down on the floor!! Thankfully my 3 year old son and my little dog were not around and no one was hurt. Upon inspection the upper right door hinge broke that anchors the door. I think its a horrible design flaw in the part. Although the door hinge plate is metal the male end of the hinge is plastic! That part is what failed. The fall did cause one of the removable door shelves to crack. Im writing this complaint because Im big on safety and hope Samsung reads this so no one gets hurt in the future.

Well, here are my 2 cents worth - we also had our almost 2-year-old Samsung microwave SMH9187B start turning on by itself (baked potato feature). This has got to be a safety issue! Then, more and more, we got the SE showing up on the display. My husband managed to fix it a few times by taking the control panel apart and trying to protect it from what he figured was happening - oxidization of contacts whenever steam from the oven/ stove below got into it or maybe even if it got quite steamy inside the microwave. Now its definitely dead, though, and when he spent an hour on the phone to Samsung, they acted as if it was a problem theyd never heard of before and refused to do anything about it. I cant believe theyd ignore so many people with the same defective microwave.

Darn thing runs for over 2 hours and the dishes dont come out very clean. We have to prewash them which is a real bummer. UNCLEAN stuff collects under the door frame at the bottom of the washer which needs to be wiped off. It was black like mold. This is a box that is supposed to clean and stay clean and it isnt. Purchased fridge new in 2015. Beginning in October of 2018 we came home to find the freezer was not staying cool and all the items in the freezer had thawed. Contacted a local company to come out and look which was very hard since no company wants to work on Samsung appliances. They found it was a seal system failure and quoted me $1093.00 to fix the issue I paid the man $100 for the service call. The repairman looked in the manual and found it was under warranty. I contacted Samsung and scheduled service. I waited a week and never got a phone call back to schedule a repairman to come out and look. I called back and was told the request ticket had been dropped and I would have to start over.So I again had to wait 24-48 hours for a call back and email receipt showing proof of purchase and invoice from company stating it was the sealed system failure. I waited yet again for a return phone call and had to call them 72 hours later. They requested one of their warranty technicians needs to come out and diagnose the issue before they took liability and could schedule warranty repairs and I would be responsible to pay the $99 diagnosing fee. I told them I would not pay that again. I had already paid a company to diagnose. Finally after having to be hateful and argumentative they found a company to come out and do repairs. They called me and requested someone to be at the house a week later between the hours of 8am-5pm. I paid someone to be at my house since I had to work. The repairman called me that morning and said he would be at my home between 1-3pm. The person waited at my house and the repairman never showed. When I got home and found out no one had came I called Samsung and they contacted the company. The company said they had sent a repairman out but no one answered the door. Which was a lie. I requested them to send someone out again and was told in order to do that I had to start the entire process over and get a new ticket number. At 6:30 pm an appliance repairman showed up at my house and said he was there to look at my fridge I asked him if he had came earlier and he said no. He was ran behind. So that company lied. The man was very curious when my warranty was up and kept saying I only had 4 months left. He connected the freezer to a system and added Freon to it. He started packing up his equipment and said he was finished. I said, You didn’t fix the problem. It has to have a leak if the Freon leaked out previously. He had no answers and left. I contacted Samsung again and told them the issue, how their repair company only put a band-aid on an issue and never replaced the parts or fixed the problem. Again I had to go through all the hoops only to not get a phone call back. I called them today and was told the reason I was not getting a phone call back is because they do not have a repair company who works under their warranty that can replace a seal system in this fridge. That I would have to find a company willing to fix it, pay them myself and they would issue a refund for my expenses to get it repaired. I asked for that in writing and they refused. I also was told I would be getting a refund for all the food lost but have yet to hear about that either. Do not buy from Samsung. Horrible company. Horrible product.
