RF 217 /ACRS - We bought the refrigerator Dec. of 2012. In Nov. of 2013 we had to have replaced a evaporator assembly cover, a defrost temperature sensor and a evaporator drain clip because of water in our crispers. In Jan of 2015 we start having ice in the bottom of our right crisper, also the part under the crispers were a solid piece of ice. I called and spoke to a Samsung rep, he gave me some tips that might help solve the problem. Did not work. We called Sears they had a technician that fixes Samsung come, again the evaporator assembly cover was replaced the FF section drain was plugged, frozen repaired per SB water kit.

I would give a zero but that’s not an option. This is the worst fridge Ive ever had. Every 2-4 weeks we have to unplug it and let the ice that freezes up, defrost. The first time it happened we didn’t know and the block of ice that built up in the back, broke the fan and we had to buy another fan. These should not be allowed to be sold to the public. We bought brand new from Home Depot. I’m going to sale it and it’s only a year old, and take my losses and buy a basic fridge that actually works normal. So my advice is, if you want to buy this fridge come get my piece of trash and don’t waste your money.

I bought a $400+ microwave last year from Lowes and now it doesnt work. Im positive that the magnetron has become defective. I called Samsung, who passed me off to a repair center, that now tells me I have to have the bill of sale in order to get it fixed. Are you kidding me? Its installed in my house and they want a receipt. I paid cash for it. I dont have the receipt. They said I that didnt register it so they cant help. Thats the way to get out of a warranty.

We registered a complaint regarding our fridge which we bought just about one and half years ago... The complaint was done on the 4th of June and this is the 8th of June today, and still the problem is not solved. Today we called the service center for four times. Every time we are told that your problem is on priority and will be solved soon... In the evening, a senior executive told us that it is 7 oclock and this time no one can come... and we are told to wait till the coming Monday that is the 10th of June... So we are so disappointed with their services and we found ourselves helpless in this condition. We think that we should not buy any more products from Samsung.

As a great salesman once told me, It just works! This is what one wants when you purchase a microwave oven. We take it for granted, but its awesome that we get so much value from a product that doesnt cost much. It has given us trouble-free performance every day of the year for several years now. Wish I could say that about everything else weve bought.

The washer is appealing looks-wise. It has the extra door in front to add clothing to a load. Its rare youre able to use it b/c washer makes it IMPOSSIBLE so its worthless. Loads take an enormous amount of time to wash. /For example: 1 normal load using hot water takes up to 2.5 hours depending on your settings. Steam setting takes 3-4 hours per load. Theres a quick wash setting that takes 25-35 minutes but it literally washes them for about 2 minutes and it just splashes it with water and tosses it from side to side so it rarely gets clean or smells clean. Laundry takes a ridiculous amount of time. This is no joke. Towels setting can not be set to hot. Theres no ability to customize loads how you want. If you want super hot water you cant use the towel setting. No ability to wash on normal hot for less than 1hr. & 44 minutes. You cannot customize your loads how you want. You have to go with what the machine thinks it knows. Its pre-programmed and customization is not possible. Worst part of this machine is that the laundry does NOT GET CLEAN. The fabric is never submerged in water so it is not appropriate for items like a urine soaked blanket. The urine will not be washed out completely. I would say its less effective than hand washing is. Capacity (load size). Dont let that big drum size fool you. You put lots of laundry in it some will come out not having even gotten wet. Youre working with a 3 deep puddle at the bottom of the drum that is sloshed around splashing the clothes. It breaks down frequently. Ive had my machine less than a year and it has broke down 3 times so far. It does not use sufficient amounts of water. It does not submerge laundry in water. Instead, it sloshes laundry back and forth in a small puddle of a few gallon water. This is equivalent to spot cleaning. The fabric is never submerged in water. It only gets splashed. You cant use hardly any fabric softener. Unless you want to wait for the rinse cycle and put it in then. If you try to add at beginning of cycle you can only put a few tablespoons in if that. If you use more, it will dump into the wash cycle instead. How I deal with it: My boyfriend hacked it so it fills with more water. BUT...it still is not enough to clean so he set up a hose right at the washer site. So in every single load I turn the hose on for around 10 minutes until the clothes are submerged. If you do this prior to turning it on the washer will drain it on you so you have to start the load then add water into the soap dispenser. You cant even use the extra door, its useless. So the hose gets placed in the door of the soap dispenser. So far no issues but its still a pain in the ** but its better than using buckets of water like I did at first. All these complaints for a $1400 machine. Youre better off with a top loader. I think Samsung ought to stick with making their plastic phones or revert back to making clock radios. Leave laundry to the experts like Maytag. I dont want to hear Im using too much soap or too much water, that is untrue. Ive tried their recommendations and got the same poor results.

Purchased our first Samsung fridge Feb 2012. 20 minutes after delivery, we noticed a cracked shelf. It took numerous calls and 3 months to get the correct shelf. In the meantime, they had sent 2 wrong shelves and a freezer door handle as a replacement part. In the spring of 2014, our fridge started to freeze up. It took almost 3 months to get it repaired. Again in November of 2014, the same issue arose about freeze up and the temperature settings were no longer readable. They (our retailer, Future Shop) finally replaced the unit. Two weeks in, yes you guessed it, water under the crisper drawers and freezing again. The unit was replaced (by Future Shop?) and a new one shipped to us. Two weeks later with the new one, the same issue has come again! Can this company not get it right?Through all of this, Future Shop has been a stand up company. They have looked after us wonderfully! We contacted Samsung and they said via email: we are not aware of any issues with our refrigerators. Perhaps they should read their online reviews??? We went back to our retailer today and they are replacing it yet again. This time however, we selected a Frigidaire! Enough with the Samsung product.

I bought this piece of junk Oct. 2017 at Home Depot for over $1200.00 with the no customer service protection plan through Asurion. This was what we thought was a beautiful sleek side by side that would last at least 10 years. We arent rich people so this was our first side by side. The thing started making a terrible racket a few days ago and just gets worse. It apparently has a design flaw that causes ice to build up around the fan which leads to an expensive failure. After 2 days of around 12 calls to Asurion I have to wait 3 weeks for a repair. They initially set me up with a rude fly by night jerk, but hes not coming so I have to wait three weeks now for a different repair place. Nobody wants to work on Samsung appliances. You call someone in whos not factory authorized there goes the warranty. Since weve been put in this position, were forced to spend money we dont have on another refrigerator. Try finding a refrigerator during a Pandemic while riots are taking place. It seems impossible but we must have a refrigerator. The cheapest we can find is an apartment size for almost $400.00. We cant afford this & Im sure Asurion wont reimburse us for the money we have to spend for a back up fridge.

We purchased a stainless steel Samsung Refrigerator Model No. RF217** in December of 2010. Today was the fourth time weve had to have it repaired for the same problem: standing water in the produce drawers with water and ice below them. The repair in 2013 required replacing a part which took several days to come in and, including labor, cost us a couple of hundred dollars to have done. The other three repairs cost about $100 each. This was an expensive refrigerator and it just galls me that Samsung wont stand behind their product! The first failure happened exactly two days after the one-year warranty expired so Samsung would do nothing. We didnt buy an extended warranty because we generally dont believe in them - big mistake - with Samsung believe in them! Not only is this all very expensive, but having to completely empty the contents of the fridge and freezer 24 hours before the service call so it can defrost is a royal pain in the petoot! What does it take to get a class action suit against Samsung? We bought a Samsung stainless steel dishwasher the same day we bought the refrigerator. I dont like it either. It never completely dries the dishes. We will NEVER buy another Samsung appliance!

We bought a Samsung RS275 side by side refrigerator in March 2010. From the start, the ice maker was completely inadequate and could not keep up with a family of four. In July 2011 water started accumulating in the bottom of the refrigerator and freezing the lower vegetable bin. We found that the defroster drain hole was freezing closed with ice, thereby not allowing the defroster to drain properly, hence it ended up on the floor of the refrigerator. I managed to extend a piece of copper wire into the hole (it was heated from the defroster heating coil) and that solved the problem for a couple of years. Keeping the hole open. The problem reappeared in the Spring of 2014 and weve been trying to fix it ever since. Also, the water dispenser line continues to freeze. I will never buy another Samsung refrigerator.

The glass top on our stove cracked while boiling water. Contacted Samsung and was given a service ticket and authorized service was dispatched for repair. A few days later receive a text saying the service ticket had been canceled. Contacted and was told they did not know why the service was canceled. They, after contacting them repeatedly for days, issued a new service ticket. Today, two weeks after first contacting, the service finally comes. He has to send pictures of the top to Samsung and they refuse to fix it. The service tech doesn’t understand why and tells us to contact Samsung. I do and they tell me that the pictures show prior damage and they won’t warrant it. I ask what damage they are talking about as it had no damage other the crack that happened while the water was boiling. I was told that there were scratches on the top and a hole. First, we use our every day and there are small scratches where pots and pans sit on the burners and get moved. That’s called normal use. Second I informed them that there is no hole in the the top now, the past or ever. I was told the pictures showed a hole caused by the crack. They actually said I had a hole in my glass top caused by the defective top cracking. Wow. But since there are a few scratches and a made up hole in the top it voids the warranty.

I purchased a Samsung refrigerator (Model # RF4287HARS, French Door, with the Flex Zone drawer) early Sept 2013. This refrigerator costs me over $2000. After about 2 months, the refrigerator section wouldnt get cold anymore. The digital display read 34 degrees, but I knew it wasnt. After reading up on trouble shooting tips, I unplugged the fridge, waited a few minutes, plugged it back in, then it read 58 degrees. I called for service (a 4 hour window, of course). The technician said it was faulty temperature sensors. He didnt have the parts and said he would have to call it in. It may be up to 3 to 4 weeks to get the parts. I thought this was ridiculous (and it was just the beginning). I called Samsung headquarters, asked them if they would kindly replace my refrigerator with a new one, since its only about 2 months old. They said its NOT THEIR POLICY. They said if its fixable, they will get a service technician to fix it. I FLIPPED!!! I told them, I do not have the luxury to wait 3 to 4 weeks for parts to come in...... I DONT HAVE A PROPERLY WORKING REFRIGERATOR!!! Their answer..... its NOT OUR POLICY. So I ask that they transfer me to upper management. I spoke to their Executive Customer Service Relations, told them my situation and my request. Their response was, ITS NOT OUR POLICY. These are the most useless customer service department heads Ive dealt with. So I bit the bullet, waited about 2 weeks, parts came in, called for service technician again. They replaced the temperature sensors. Im thinking, Whew, Im glad thats over with. About 2 weeks later, I notice the fridge is not getting cold again. Temperature is reading 48 to 52 degrees. Called for service again, they are going to replace ice maker and heating element. I asked the service repair man, What is the root of this problem? He says he doesnt know, just that the fault indicator is telling him to replace these parts. This is where Im at right now, dont even know if this second service will solve the problem. Im infuriated at Samsung. How dare they put out a product on the market without conducting extensive tests. Do they realize what a burden they are putting on their customers? Im never buying Samsung again, EVER!!! If you work for Samsung (refrigerator designer or customer service), shame on you for all the trouble you put me through. Shame on your POLICY. If you make a faulty product and you know about it, OWN UP TO IT! The customer is always right! MAKE IT RIGHT FOR YOUR CUSTOMERS! Or pretty soon, you will have no more customers.

I recently purchased a Samsung gas stove. When I received it the bottom interior panel was defective. There were lines in the finish. I used the oven three times and the finish started to peel off of the stove. I put in a warranty claim and the claim was found to be physical damage and not covered. I paid $3600 for this stove. The defect is not physical damage. Even if it was the finish should not be peeling and flaking off after three uses or not at all! Samsung refuses to send another technician out to document the damage properly. The first technician could not take a decent picture to show the defect or the peeling. I could have taken a better picture myself. I would like Samsung to come back out and properly document and resubmit the claim. Three oven uses and the finish is peeling off! I thought Samsung was a good name. Apparently its not. The smell of the finish burning off the bottom panel cannot be good to be breathing in.

We bought a side by side Samsung Fridge and Freezer. Within the first year the motherboard broke and Samsung came to fix it with no charge. 3 years later out of warranty the fridge broke again. It took one of their technicians 3 weeks to come out due to them giving bad service. They more worried about the R570.00 call out fee rather than providing excellent service. After 3 weeks technician came and said there was a leakage, rusted pipe and it needed gas. Come on Samsung. After 3 years a fridge cannot need gas. I had a Fridge side by side Fridgemaster for 15 years and it never needed gas. Its abnormal and I know it is a faulty fridge.I told one of Samsung people yesterday I am a very unhappy customer and is only paying because I have to get it fixed. It costed me buying a bar fridge as Samsungs waiting period is pathetic. I was quoted R450.00. I have a call recording and emails sent to them. I intended buying a Samsung washing machine but NO SAMSUNG PRODUCTS ever. I am telling the world out there dont ever opt for a Samsung Fridge. They sell faulty products and would not replace it. My fridge still looks brand new as we working and only uses it at night and over weekends but I made a big mistake as the product is not cheap over 10,000.00. I am still waiting on them now to call me to say when the pipes will be fixed and the gas. Suppose to come Saturday but I will wait and see if I receive a phone call today.

Didnt even get 3 years out of my Samsung model DW80J3020 dishwasher that I purchased in 2016 as part of a 4 piece Samsung appliances pkg from Lowes. Ive had Samsung TVs before and really hadnt had any issues. However their supposed convection stove takes 30% longer to cook than a traditional oven, the refrigerator makes popping noises at night loud enough to wake us up, the microwave makes a thumping noise while the interior dish is rotating, and now the dishwasher has no function whatsoever--no lights, nada. I went online to research and couldnt believe the number of posts relating to the same thing. This is it for me and Samsung appliances. This is accurate and fair. Here it goes. I purchased this refrigerator in 2014 from the Home Depot. I also purchased the 5 yr extended warranty (just in case). It all began with them delivering the wrong unit and it also had a hole in the back from a forklift. The delivery company left it in my driveway and drove off and in the process, ran into and wrecked my neighbors picket fence and would not share insurance information for replacement. Yes. HD sent two young men to pick up the fridge without a lift on the back so all of us had to heft this into a high bed truck to remove it. Ended up renting a truck and picking up and installing the new one ourselves. So I have had this refrigerator for 10 months and it stopped cooling in the fridge and the freezer. I want to add that the vegetable storage units do not keep the vegetables for long at all. They go bad after a couple of days. Back to the technicians, 3, yes 3 hours on the computer chat with a (3) tech(s) from Samsung to reset the OFF reading on the digital display. After 3 hours of attempting to reset and do all the bells and whistles to reset, the tech(s) then tell me that the panel is bad and needs a technician to go to the home location and repair it. They said to call Samsung to create a ticket. Ok, also called Asurion who has the warranty. They said they would create a ticket and send me a food loss form. Sent food loss form and then Im told that a reimbursement will not be issued until after the repair? I then call Samsung who tells me that there should be a repair person by Wednesday or Thursday (it is Saturday) and they would create a ticket. Then I called the Home Depot who tells me that if the issue was not solved by Wednesday or Thursday they would send me a check for the fridge or a new one? WTH? Its now Thursday (6 days after fridge quits) and no one knows about the problem or any ticket issued. I snapped. We then start all over. I am then told that it is a simple fix and I would have to pay for the repair? NO, NO, NO. I am then sent to the secondary customer person who then creates ANOTHER repair ticket and tell me that the repair person will call me in about 48 hours or so and cannot even conceivably come until next Tuesday or Wednesday. No we are into 11 days of this issue. So, this Samsung refrigerator has NO repair people in this area and yet they are continuously sold. Now what? I paid over $2,200 (on sale) for this absolute piece of mechanical scrap with the worst customer service ever. NEVER, and I mean NEVER purchase this refrigerator or any Samsung refrigerator, NEVER. Repeat that to yourself.

I bought the Samsung Refrigerator in 5/14 from Best Buy (I will not go to Best Buy for anything). I started having problems with the ice maker not making ice in a few months and continue for over 3 years. My neighbor was nice enough to explain to me that the frig wont make ice if the frig is not level. Call someone out to level it. The installer and the repairmen should know that. The last 2 weeks, I am not able to get the frig to make ice.Back in April, the frig sounded like it was in the 500 road race. I called a repairman out and said it needed a evaporator cool kit. It 2 months for him to get it. He installed it and 2 weeks the terrible noise again was back. Called the same guy and he said he could install another kit, but it would continue to have problems. He said that Samsung does not allow the repairmen to know much more about the frig. He said that the refrigerator will eventually quit running. I needed to contact Samsung. I did that and he couldn’t find any repairman in my area. What a bunch of crap. The service is terrible. The frig is awful. I did write the CEO and President Tim Baxter and I didnt get an answer. I hate to pay over another $2000.00 to get another frig in less 4 years time.

We bought the dishwasher January 2011 and problems began in October 2011. We have had 4 different service visits with the 4th being today, March 20th 2011. It is still not fixed and now we are without a dishwasher since January 16th. Repairs have all been different, but the problem has been the same. The dishwasher stops mid-cycle and 2 lights blink. Their first repair over the phone was to turn off the breaker and try again. This did not help. Here is the timeline of repairs: 2011 - October 3, I called for appointment. October 24, repaired detergent latch. 2012 - January 16, I called for appointment. January 25, repaired drain pump. February 17, I called for appointment. March 15, replaced sump pump assembly. March 15, I called for appointment. March 20, I ordered something for the heater. This is getting absolutely absurd.

SAMSUNG REFRIGERATOR MODEL# RF23J9011SR/AA - We purchased 3 years ago. Has similar freezer problems as stated in other reviews. The counter depth style of this unit is what we required. The icemaker freezes up. The technician came out and proceeded to use steam to fix the problem. It froze up again within a few days. We are very disappointed with the poor quality of this expensive unit in our kitchen. Fortunately we kept our KitchenAid side by side which continues to surpass the quality of the Samsung product. We get perfect ice cubes dispensed from our KitchenAid. We will be looking forward to our next KitchenAid refrigerator with a properly operating ice dispenser.

I bought a brand new Samsung refrigerator from Sears. We noticed these loud clanking, whirring and groaning noises from the first day it was delivered. At first we thought maybe it was just making these terrible noises due to cooling down and it would stop eventually. It never did. I called Sears a couple days past the 30 days since we received it and they told me that I had to call Samsung and that it would be covered under my warranty. So, I called Samsung, who scheduled a service appointment with me. These two guys who barely spoke English advised me that the noise was caused by my ice maker, so they turned the ice maker off and left, saying the noise should be resolved now. Well...I SHOULD be able to use my ice maker....right??? Brand new fridge and the SOLUTION is not to USE my ice maker??? HUH???So, fast forward to the next scheduled visit by the Samsung repair guys. Same guys. They tell me that the ice maker is BACK ON. I advised that I didnt even know where it was to turn it on. They said they turned it off, and left. Assuring me that the noises are perfectly normal. Just dont use my Ice maker. WHATEVER. Brand new Fridge! I cant use my ice maker? Thats the solution?!Next Samsung visit. I asked for a different technician. They send out a new guy, who tells me that the issue is a bar like thing from the freezer. He says he will schedule the repair and parts. Admits that the noises are NOT normal. Next scheduled visit, the same two original guys show up again and they have a fan, and some other parts THAT are OBVIOUSLY NOT what was shown to me and needed replacement. So, I ask them to CALL the last technician and find out what they were to replace. SOOOO... they leave and say that a different technician needs to replace the part.Next scheduled visit, the manager shows up and says that he hears the sounds and its the MOTOR and the COMPRESSOR. The MAIN working operational parts for a fridge!!! So, they schedule another visit with THOSE parts. Next visit, they replace the motor and the compressor in my now 2 month old refrigerator. AND ITS STILL MAKING THE NOISES!I asked for a replacement, since now I have essentially a REFURBISHED BRAND NEW REFRIGERATOR... and SAMSUNG customer service tells me... get this...The sounds coming from my refrigerator are NORMAL! I can hear the thing making groaning noises like its dying from the opposite end of the house, at approximately 1,000 ft away! SAMSUNG and their outsourced technicians are a racket/scam and they are making a fortune by ignoring their responsibilities to honor the warranty. They wont fix the issue, and they also wont replace. Now, I will be faced with hiring an attorney... simply because of the principle of the matter. Im tired of consumers being taken advantage of. I have a shiny refurbished piece of crap in my kitchen. Likewise, I have a 20 year old perfectly running, quiet refrigerator in my garage that I paid a fraction for and have NEVER had a single issue with it. Lesson learned here folks, is NEVER, EVER, EVER buy a Samsung refrigerator. EVER.

We purchased a $2,172.96 Samsung French Door Refrigerator, model number RF4287HARS in January 2014 from Best Buy. From the beginning, when the cooling motor came on it was noisy and irritating. The ice maker was very noisy. The clincher was after 16 months, the molding on the door split and tore. We have owned multiple lesser expensive Refrigerators but never had the molding rip. We contacted Best Buy who referred us to Pacific Sales who sells in the Best Buy store. They wanted $200 to replace the molding stating that there was a 1 year warranty on parts. Contacted Samsung who was cold and clinical verifying that we only had a one year warranty. Would never buy another Samsung refrigerator. This one was a top of the line unit and we want to warn others.

From my complaint sent to Samsung: I bought this Samsung side-by-side RS254
From my complaint sent to Samsung: I bought this Samsung side-by-side RS2545SH/XAA refrigerator for my office in 2008. Within the first year, I had to have the service techs in to repair and replace the board because it was causing the fridge to over-cool, either freeze the refrigerator section or leave it uncooled. That was repaired under warranty. In the past year, I have encountered the same issue. Now the board is causing the cold water reservoir to freeze. I have had both our local repairman and yours out to attempt repair. The local reported that it is a common problem with refrigerators and recommended higher temp settings to keep the problem at bay, but wouldnt recommend refrigerators with chips for our next purchase.Your repairman, while polite, wasnt prepared with the parts in the truck for the probable repair. It took him 3 hours to diagnose and defrost the water reservoir. It would have likely been cheaper for him to just replace the plastic unit. He identified that the problem is likely the board or the heater, but could be the wire that connects the two that is not repairable. It would be an additional $350.00 for the repair and another visit on top of the $302.10 already paid to your tech and $110.00 for our local repair tech. The tech warned that with the replacement parts (which he didnt have with him), he couldnt guarantee that it would be fixed because of a wire built into the fridge could be the culprit and isnt repairable. I would be stuck with the costs and a broken fridge.I and my assistant Paul ** (ticket **) have made numerous calls to your call center for updates and requests to review this issue and have been met with what I would call polite stonewalling. I feel that purchasing a premium product should come with support. I also expect a refrigerator to last at least 20 years before needing service. I have not experienced either with this purchase and could not recommend your product to others. I will be exploring additional avenues to file complaints against your company including the store where we bought it and our state attorney general. It would appear, in hindsight, that I would have been better off purchasing a basic model that would have cost me considerably less and would have been repairable.

This series DW80F600 dishwasher showed signs of high temperature heating errors when it was only 10 months old. We called support and were told that it would cost a certain amount ($273.43 to be exact) to have someone come and look at the machine. Just look at it, not fix it! WE went ahead and had them look at the problem and of course, the part needed wasnt under any sort of warranty. Now just over a year old and we are are stuck with a $498.75 bill for a machine that still doesnt work. The error lights came back on the very next day! We could have purchased a brand new dishwasher for much less and gotten much better results. I am warning all who think purchasing this machine, to rethink that plan!! Samsung SMH2117S microwave - Samsung refused after various escalations to repair the SE- error code that made the OTR microwave go crazy. The fan initially kept turning itself on and off constantly, then would show the error code and die. Unplugging it and plugging it back in would briefly fix the issue, but then it just croaked for good. Just a few months out of warranty (of course), and now, for purely the principle, would join a CA lawsuit against Samsung despite the unlikely odds of that happening. No working fridge for 4 months and counting. I purchased the Samsung 22.3 Cu Ft counter deep Side-by-side refrigerator with thru the door ice and water - stainless steel. Model RS22HDHPNSR on March 21st, 2015. This fridge was to be the center piece of my kitchen renovation. It was my one big shiny splurge, costing me $2100. My fridge worked fine from March 2015 until November 2016, when it stopped compressing cold air. Since the parts were still under warranty Samsung agreed to have technicians from A&E electrical come to my home in Northern California SIX times over a period of FOUR months to replace the compressor, a 4-way valve and a motherboard. They have also reduced the pressure on something and then the next time increased the pressure on that same part. According to my calculations Samsung has paid over $1400 to fix my fridge, which is inefficient for this company and extremely frustrating and time-consuming for me. Each time a technician comes to my home they try to fix it and they cant. When a technician does come to my home it is not trivial. I have to take time away from work and wait for them to arrive over a 4 hour period (9 am to 1 pm or 1 pm to 5 pm). There have been two occasions when the technician had to reschedule because he had overbooked his schedule and one occasion when the technician just didnt turn up and didnt even call to reschedule. When the technician does actually turn up and has attempted to fix my fridge and failed, I immediately call Samsung and then have to explain my situation all over again. I then have to wait for another 2-3 weeks before a technician can come out again. And then the same thing happens all over again! Im at the point now where I have had the fridge finally deemed as unrepairable by a technician and have sent in my proof of purchase and the technicians report to executive customer services by email. Ive also threatened to take legal action if I am not compensated immediately because 4 months without a fridge and two young boys is physically and mentally quite miserable. For me $2100 is just too much money to throw away so I have no choice but to keep fighting this corrupt company. I am very disappointed that Samsung customer service have threaded me along for so long.

They could not help me resolve that problem. August 2014, dishwasher would shut off after 2 mins. Had to have the EC Sensor replaced. I did research and found that this is a faulty design that Samsung should address and fix! Samsung has POOR customer service. They do not respond to messages left, by phone. When you do reach an actual person you can figure on spending at least an hour per call and still you will not have had any resolution to your problem. They do not follow up in a timely manner in getting a local repair company dispatched to your home. They do not let you know who they have dispatched and when they are coming to your home. That was very embarrassing for me.Now my machine is leaking water with every wash, and my refrigerator also not working specially its freezer. This will be the second summer Im facing this problem. This has to be one of the worst refrigerators (Samsung 28.5 capacity, French door with freezer below) ever made. The ice maker would make ice sporadically. Sometimes there was enough ice to get through a day. Most of the time we had to rely on trays of ice that we purchased separately out of frustration. The shelves that hung on the doors were so poorly designed that they often broke off which caused many disasters with broken condiments and such. I know the shelving problem is not isolated to our refrigerator. A friend had the same model and every one of his shelves were also broken. Currently my shelving is patched together with tons of duct tape. Now to make things worse only 7 years old and the compressors has stopped working. We bought a new set of Samsung for the house (wash/dryer, refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher). No issues with them except for the dishwasher. The DMT800 is the most expensive Samsung dishwasher, and seems to have a lot of issues in my research. After only three days old, we got Error Code 5E (or SE): blocked line. Then we reset the breakers, unplugged it...made sure no vent line was pinched... Then it worked for three days, before we got Error Code PE.We called Pacific Sales (the retail store), and they will NOT return a dishwasher... NO return policy (after only a week since purchase). They scheduled a repairman in two weeks, and told us to call Samsung to try to get an earlier appointment.Spent a total of 2.5 hours going back and forth with Samsung and Pacific Sales, as you are required by Samsung to perform various steps to resolve the issue (like resetting circuit breaker, unplugging it for 20 minutes, running it empty, running it in sanitize mode...).We were told by the retailer, Pacific Sales, that Samsung repairs are behind schedule (maybe because of their bad dishwashers) and that the earliest appointment is in two weeks! They said to call Samsung directly to try to get them to come out earlier. After over three hours of calls...we are to wait another two days to see when the Earlier Possible appointment may be. The dishwasher went down five days ago, and now we may go two weeks (washing by hand like we did as kids... oh fun!).TIP: Not sure what the cost is for the Extended Warranty, but saw many websites with reviews that it may be worth getting, as you will have guaranteed issues over the first 1.5 years.TIP: Also, does installing yourself void the warranty? They charge $95 for installs... After the first repairman comes, we will only let the repair guys touch it to maintain the warranty.TIP: A common problem is with the racks breaking (top one specifically), so call Samsung immediately if it happens, as you may need to do it a few times before warranty is up.

Same thing, different person. Fridge Model RF217ACRS, manufactured in 2011. Problem started in 2014. Samsung refuses to pay for repair even though original chat transcript with Samsung Support inferred they will stand behind their product, after creating a ticket for me even though the fridge was out of warranty. Problem Description: Fridge coils freezing up, causing fan to rub on ice making a loud noise. Defrosted it multiple times, problem comes back within a week or 2. A&E Services wanting to charge $361 for the repair of what they claim is a $12 sensor. A&E Factory Services tech also told me that this is the cause of 90% of the problems reported regarding Samsung refrigerators. My guess... A&E and any other Samsung Authorized Service Center is being paid off by Samsung to cover-up the actual fault, which may lie with the evaporator, as if the water is drained/evaporated correctly, should not build up as ice on the coils, in my unprofessional opinion. Keep in mind, the evaporator is covered under the Samsung 5-year warranty, but the $12 sensor is not, and their repair techs will charge you out the *you know what* ($360) to replace it. I will never buy another Samsung device as long as I live, and I will steer all my friends and family away from them.

I have a Samsung refrigerator that I purchased about 3 years ago. Last Christmas we lost power for about 10 seconds and the refrigerator stopped working. I unplugged it and waited about 10 minutes and plugged it in again, and it started up again. Whoever heard of such a thing? I noticed one of the doors to the refrigerator was lower than the other, and scraping on the freezer door below... Ice maker is available, but I dont use it, and the cover kept falling off. Eventually the small box fell down into the freezer and I had to keep adjusting it until a friend finally unhooked it. Last night, (Sat. night) I opened the refrigerator door and noticed the temp. was 48 degrees. I unplugged again and waited 1/2 an hour then plugged it in again. It didnt work. I went to bed and this morning the refrigerator was working. I had a Samsung smart tv that lasted about 14 months and stopped working. My repairman said it could not be fixed and he had never seen such a cheaply made tv... I will never, ever, buy another Samsung product...

We bought a Samsung refrigerator from Home Depot to replace an old refrigerator that had developed a Freon leak. When the new refrigerator was delivered and plugged it, it immediately tripped the GFI breaker. The Home Depot delivery crew said there must be a problem with the electrical circuit. Lamps and other test units plugged in to the outlet worked, but plugging in the refrigerator immediately tripped the circuit. We paid for an electrician to come out. He said that the circuit tested OK but recommended that we replace the GFI breaker. He installed a new GFI breaker and outlet for the refrigerator. The circuit tripped immediately when the refrigerator was plugged in. The electrician tested and diagnosed the problem as an internal short in the refrigerator. Electrician cost $296. We contacted Home Depot about the problem, and our call was routed to Samsung. After about 15 minutes answering questions with the Samsung representative, we were told that a local Samsung service contractor would contact us within 48 to 72 business hours. We received a call from Central Electronics Services saying that the soonest the could have a technician come out to diagnose the problem would be two weeks later - nothing could be done to advance the service schedule. We went in to Home Depot who expressed concern about the problem and said that it is not uncommon to experience problems in getting manufacturer warranty service from Samsung. We are still awaiting the Central Electronics/Samsung service technician to arrive. Hopefully the defective refrigerator will be replaced with a properly functioning unit without undue. In the interim, we warn others considering purchase of a Samsung major appliance about the poor service from Samsung. Buyer beware!

We purchased our fridge Jan 2014 and at first happy with it. Year and a half later the noise started. I could see through the small holes on the inside back, it was frozen over. Ice was coming through the small holes. The noise was awful. Then it quit cooling and the top ice maker quit. Repairman said it had frozen up and the fan that blows the cold air out into the fridge had gone out. The ice maker had quit because it also was frozen over. He took the ice maker drawer out and it was a solid sheet of ice. He thawed it out and it began working again. Not sure for how long. He told me this was a bad problem and it wasnt worth replacing if it didnt start back working after being thawed. Fortunately it did begin making ice again. I guess in the future I will just thaw the ice maker out when it quits again. He ordered another fan, and as a note it was on back order and it took them from Oct to Jan for the part to come in. Now a month later the noise has started again. So I will be calling a repairman again. Not sure what he will say this time. I would not recommend anyone buying a Samsung refrigerator. My brother had bought this same fridge around the same time I did, and it has done the same thing with them. Terrible noise and replacing the fan. His ice maker has gone out 3 times and they have replaced it each time. Why would they continue making this piece of junk? I cant believe I paid 2000 for such this crap. Stay away from Samsung refrigerators model RF28HFEDTSR/AA.

We purchased our dishwasher in April 2016. It has never worked properly. It started out ok but then went down hill. Now its loud and doesnt wash at all. When I open the door the dishes are dirty and the soap is still on the door. I called Lowes and was told they would contact Samsung and I would get a call in two days. NEVER HAPPENED. I called back and Lowes gave me the Samsung direct number. I call Samsung for a repair, was told per my SN and model number that I purchased it in 2015. Wrong. Wasted 10 more days waiting for my receipt from Lowes. I email it to Samsung and call back, they tell me someone will be out the following Tuesday after 3. I leave work early, nobody shows up at 3:30. I call Samsung back, I am told sometimes they run late. I wait til 5:30 and am not happy. Call Samsung back and am given the number for the repair shop. I am pissed. I call the repair shop. I am told that nobody set anything up with them and this is common. Apologies, then I am told that its not covered because I bought it in 2015. NO I DID NOT. Repair shop calls Samsung to verify. Repair shop calls me back and sets up another appt. for the following Monday. I take the day off because they call and ask if I can do it earlier. Thursday, 2 days later, I get a call to set up an appt. and that it wont be covered because I bought in 2015. What? No! Apologies. Two hours later a message on my phone from repair shop, trying to set up an appt. and its not covered... WTF is going on? Monday comes, guy shows up with a big box of parts. Looks confused. Halfway through, two hours have gone by, tells me he needs to go to the store for a hose? Two hours later he has replaced almost every part in my dishwasher. I can hear it filling with water. He seems pleased and after a four hour repair job leaves after telling me to let it run. I do. After a hour I open it up and I see the same soap that was on the door. I gave up. Husband called, they are coming back Friday... OMG! We spend thousands on all new Samsung kitchen appliances and I am scared to death. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Cannot understand what they are saying, dont know what they are doing, cant understand what I am saying and thats Samsung. Repair shop is just as bad! I have told everyone I know do not buy Samsung... Just got a new work phone... Samsung. Great.

We replaced all of our appliances with Samsung at the same time, this Fridge is the biggest pile of trash, ice maker never works, the cooling coils in the back freeze up, the compressor rattles, and it make Whooing sounds like an owl. When it had a “warranty” even that was a joke, there was always an excuse as to why it was “normal” or a “fix wasn’t available”. Needless to say, and it’s not like they care about one customer anyway, I would never buy this brand again or any brand associated with it.

Samsung ref is the pits, I have replaced the control panel and the replacement has stopped working correctly. I have replaced the water inlet valves and now one of them is no longer working properly. The ice maker overfills and freezes the cubes in a giant lump. And all of this happens just after the warranty expired, of course. I owned a Samsung ref, stove, micro, dishwasher, washer and dryer - all are less than 7 years old. I have had to replace the dishwasher and washer and dryer. I will never purchase another Samsung appliance.

I purchased this dual oven convection range in July 2015. I have read the manual for tips on how to bake properly, no help. I attempted repositioning racks for regular baking, convection baking. Nothing mattered. Biscuits are burned on the bottom and white on top. Angel food cake was overdone on one side and not done on the other. Cakes are a flop. I love to bake and have baked successfully for fifty years. Called service; they are not knowledgeable of the product and outright lie. They rescheduled a visit by repair and they never showed up. I called back; same with complaints, no return visit. The only thing the repairman did was flash a beam to read the temperature at entry point. Said everything is ok; but Ill replace a board. This did absolutely nothing. Im back to a range top with no way to bake bread, cakes or pies. This range cost $1299.00. All I want is to be able to use the appliance without ruining everything I try to cook. I bought an oven thermometer to gauge temperature. Set on 350 degrees, the lower rack read 200 degrees. I would gladly return this range to purchase one that gets the job done. Is there any recourse other than suing Samsung? Im at my wits end, this purchase was no doubt the worst choice Ive made in my life.

In 2011 we purchased a Samsung model # DMT800RHS dishwasher. It required 2 service calls within the 1st year: once because we had to keep flipping the breaker to get it to turn on and once for a problem with the control panel. The racks are held together with plastic clips. The top rack has two positions. After only 2 years, many of the plastic clips are broken, and now the rack will not stay in the up position. One of the rungs (which is also held together with plastic clips) will not stay in the upright position because of the broken clips. We also purchased an electric range and French door refrigerator. We have had one service call on the range. So far the only appliance that has not needed service is the refrigerator. I would not recommend Samsung appliances at all. And I will absolutely never purchase a Samsung again.

We immediately went to the electrical box and shut off the breaker as we didnt know what had caused the glass to break when there wasnt any heat in the oven. I purchased a Samsung Model #RF30HBEDBSR/AA on 9/12/2015, it was delivered to my home 9/13/2015. The first issue I encountered was the second week of April (4/10/2016). I returned home from a 3-day family vacation and realized that my refrigerator and freezer were both not functioning. I called 1-800-726-7864 and spoke with Zakiya (Ticket #**). I informed her that my refrigerator & freezer both werent functioning and that Id discovered this when I returned home after a few days. On 4/11/16 at 2:45 CST I spoke to Cori & her supervisor, Hannah. I documented & reported to her that the food in my freezer was spoiled and I had a significant amount of food lost due to the refrigerator/freezer not working properly. Hannah told me to send my receipt for the food purchased that I was reporting as spoiled.Fast forward a few days to 4/14/2016 I spoke to representative Chin (Ticket #**). I asked how and where to send receipt for spoiled food. The address I was given Samsung Electronics of America, Inc. 85 Challenger Road Ridgefield Park, NJ 07660. On 6/29/16 I spoke to Madylin (Employee # **). I was kept on hold for 45 minutes when Madylin returned I asked for a supervisor. I spoke to Supervisor Torie (Employee #**... this conversation was said to be recorded on their end). Torie told me that I was misinformed when I spoke to Hannah back on 4/11/16... My spoiled food WOULD NOT be covered. Tories tone was very condescending and not what I would expect from someone from a supervisory position. This has been an ongoing nightmare with terrible customer service from the supervisor(s) down to the customer service agents.

The ice maker started jamming right away. When we called they gave us instructions on how to clear the jam ourself. I have never had a company tell me to fix anything myself. What they told me to do did not fix it. So we called and finally got them to send a service person out. He did not put a new ice maker. He just caulked around the ice bin. Within a day it was jamming again. We called to have a service person come back and fix it. When he came he put a whole new ice maker in. No help! It is still jamming and now it is gathering ice in the chute inside the door and then when the door opens ice flies everywhere.Putting in another ice maker is not going to solve the problems we are having because the blades have too much slack in them and they go behind another blade and they hang up. We called and told them we wanted them to come and get the refrigerator and of course they refused to. The company should not be allowed to sell this kind of junk and then make people keep it. I wish we had known how bad the product was and hope everyone will beware of buying anything Samsung!

Like many others who have reviewed Samsung refrigerators, ours too leaves water and ice at the bottom of the unit. You have to get a rubber hammer sometimes to dislodge it. We have had the compressor fail, and the unit stills gets hot. We had to pay for all repairs as the warranty is worthless. The ice maker freezes up. I could go on and on. In 2012, I purchased a Samsung microwave, electric stove/range, and refrigerator. During the first year, the control panel on the refrigerator stopped working three times. Fortunately, the refrigerator was under the one-year warranty, and Samsung paid to have the panel replaced each time. So far, I have had no further problems with the refrigerator. Within five years, the handle on the microwave pulled off. Within two years of purchasing the stove, the oven completely stopped working. The cost to repair was nearly as much as a new stove plus the repairman could not guarantee when the parts would arrive from overseas. I decided to purchase another stove and stuck with the same Samsung model as it matched the other appliances in my kitchen. Who could imagine (not me!) that within two years, the ceramic stove-top, for absolutely no reason, would crack and shatter. I can understand occasional problems with manufactured products, but to have all four appliances perform so poorly within five years is indicative of gross incompetence and poor workmanship on the part of Samsung.

There are a couple main problems with the refrigerator (Samsung Refrigerato
There are a couple main problems with the refrigerator (Samsung Refrigerator Model RF323TEDBSR/AA):1. There is a design flaw in the upper ice dispenser. When you select cubed ice, the dispenser crushes about 1/3 to 1/2 of the ice cubes. The problem lies in the design of the module. The opening to the ice chute is just too small and/or too close to the crusher mechanism which is just above the ice chute. The auger feeds more ice per given amount of time (seconds) than can fall through the hole to the chute before building up a pile at the hole. As this pile of ice builds up, it eventually begins to feed into the crusher mechanism. This results in about one third to one half of the cubes being crushed. Samsung technical support asked us to empty and reset the ice module but it made no difference. Finally my wife called them and had to escalate to the upper tier of support and they sent a second module but we found no difference in performance.2. The second problem is with the overall quality of the refrigerator. The hinge/pins for the drawer lids broke within the first couple months of ownership. These are little plastic pins, which are about 1/2 the diameter of a pencil, that allow the clear plastic lid to swing open upward when you pull the crisper or meat/cheese drawers out. I fixed them by drilling them out and inserting a wooden dowel rod and securing them with some industrial strength glue. Theyve held for almost a year now like that.3. Finally, the silver finish is flaking off the control/menu panel. This is a cosmetic flaw I understand but for a 1 year old product this is absolutely unacceptable. Samsung refused to do anything for us on this and my wife was adamant that there should be some replacement part shipped but they refused.Overall we are finding out that the refrigerator is just poor quality. We purchased the refrigerator because it had all the features we wanted. The second ice maker in the lower freezer drawer was a big reason we bought it. Now we have to open that drawer and dig out the ice cubes for our drinks if we dont want crushed ice which is all we can get from the front dispenser.I also wanted to make a comment about the water filter. The Aqua Fresh filters that are rated to be a match for the Samsung model HAF-CIN are of poor quality. I had a 3-pack of filters and the first filter worked without any issues for many months. Then the indicator light came on telling me it was time to replace the filter. The second and 3 filters from that pack leaked water into the drawer just below the filter. I ultimately had to replace them with the Samsung filter. This is not a Samsung complaint, but rather for information so others know my experience with the off-brand filters.

We bought this nice new French door refrigerator in 2009 from Lowes. Fast forward to 2011, we were moving and out of town. We came home to a refrigerator that had quit cooling. It was running but not cooling and there were loads of flies. Aside from being very ticked off, we cleaned it out, lost several hundreds of dollars in food. We have contacted Lowes several times and they cannot find the sale which doesnt matter; it has a sticker on it showing the mfg date. We live in a very rural area. Twice now, Lowes has been contacted about finding a service person and they would get back to us and never do. We were told by an appliance company here locally that this is the normal life of Samsung refrigerators, and Im finding this to be true. Anybody looking at more class action suits against them? There have been at least one due to them knowingly selling appliances with bad compressors from what I have read.

Samsung Refrigerator RF28HFEDBBC/AA- This refrigerator has problems with the ice maker. Ice builds up on the interior of the ice maker and has to be cleared at least once a month. The ice comes out wet and the dispenser in the door leaks water continuously. There is also a problem with water leaking into the bottom of the refrigerator and then freezing so you cannot easily pull out your meat drawer. Samsung claims no issues with the unit but from what I see on the internet that is not accurate.Attached is their response: Thank you for contacting Samsung. I see that the ice maker is not freezing, and ice builds up at the top of the unit and cubes come out wet. Also, the water is leaking and filling the reservoir in the door. I know how bothering this issue could be. Samsung does strive to produce quality products and provide best service. However, your experience doesnt reflect this. Samsung products are designed by dedicated and skilled engineers after extensive technical research. We dont have any reported issues with this refrigerator model. Its disheartening to know that you are experiencing these issues. We dont like to see our customers unhappy or inconvenienced; however, Samsung provides 12 months of warranty from the date of purchase. If your refrigerator is out of warranty, you have to pay for the service.A service request was filed for this issue and it was cancelled, as there was no service center available in your area. Since your refrigerator is out of warranty, you may get it repaired locally at your discretion. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused. This is what I received from them. Interesting fact I already had the ice maker looked at during warranty and there is a service center in my area. So they dont support the product and dont know who they have in the area to repair the product. Do not buy Samsung refrigerators. No support.

I have decided not to ever buy anything from Samsung or Lowes. I hope you can learn from my mistake in dealing with well known companies. I can provide receipts if I feel this is going somewhere. I have spent too many hours waiting for people to show and diagnose and on hold, making phone call and talking with managers.

Terrible customer service!!! Spent almost 4k on this refrigerator specifically for the Pandora app to listen to music in the kitchen. It stopped working once Samsung issued an update. Its been 4 months now with nothing working. Some people are going on a year with this same issue. We are past the 30-90 day warranty with the department store where these were purchased so now we are stuck.
