I bought new Samsung appliances one and a half years ago. They are now out of their one year warranty. My refrigerator started making a loud noise about three weeks ago. I could not get a repair until three weeks later. $239.00 dollar repair because the unit froze up. Samsung would not do anything about it. I expect to service my car after it is that old but not my refrigerator. And there is no guarantee that it wont do it again. Also our new Samsung washer already has a broken piece on it. Poor design. I stand behind my work when I build someone a kitchen and I think Samsung should do the same. I would not recommend their products to any of my clients or anyone for that matter. Why is it you always have these problems with larger corporations?

SAMSUNG DOUBLE OVEN CONVECTION RANGE NE59J7850WS - After a kitchen remodel
SAMSUNG DOUBLE OVEN CONVECTION RANGE NE59J7850WS - After a kitchen remodel last year I updated my appliances and since we have such fantastic folks at our local Lowes store, that is where I went to buy them. First time in 20 years. I am sick that I had to do so now that I have had to experience complete failure in my new products. I went through 5 new stoves and returned them for one reason or another. Lowes was amazing in their desire to be sure I was satisfied. I eventually settled for the Samsung because I thought the small oven and the convection feature would be good.I am 62 years old and started cooking when I was 8. I have never in my entire life burned as many things as I have burned with this cook top in the past 4 months of ownership. I cannot control the temperature so I have to cook absolutely everything on the lowest setting and stand over the stove while it is cooking. The ovens just completely stopped working today and I have no idea why. Before the ovens quit working, the fans blew in my oven and overcooked half of the food I would bake and under cook the other side of it. I NEVER EVER get the stove top clean, EVER. I use the products made just for the smooth top and all it does is smudge. I am way too frustrated after 5 stoves and then spending what I consider a fortune on this stove to even consider calling service people if I will not be able to understand them. Unplugging and plugging back in did not work for me. Waiting for that class action suit for sure.

RFG237AARS purchases 2/2013. I have a Samsung Range and Dishwasher and havent had any issues with those appliances, but this refrigerator is definitely a lemon. There are quite a few Youtubers out there showing the icing problem. They are chiseling ice blocks off the fridge. The fridge starts making an annoying sound which happens to be the twin cooling fan system hitting the ice. Thats not right. Its disappointing that Samsung is not addressing the issue. I have been able to care for mine periodically and unthaw it from time to time, but its definitely a feature Samsung isnt being upfront about. I’m sure at some point the fan will break because of the issue. I can only imagine what expenses they would try to push onto the consumer(me), and given the age of the refrigerator it isnt worth a $500 repair bill. It doesnt sound like people are having much luck with repair(s) either. Some report multiple repairs yet they still have a dud afterwards.

Our new apartment has a half-wall between the kitchen and living room. We wanted a quiet dishwasher. The salesperson at Best Buy said the Samsung was the quietest on the market, so we bought one. It stunk when we opened it, but thought that it simply had to be used and the stink would disappear. Boy were we wrong. It is now 8 months later, after trying different detergents such as Finish gel and tablets (which we have had good success with in our old dishwasher), vinegar, etc. and the rotten fish stink is still just as strong as day 1. I dont know if the dishwasher is quiet because of built-in soundproofing or just that we cant get close enough to it due to stink to hear it. NOT happy.

I have had the Samsung SMH9187ST microwave for just over 3 years now. Yesterday I got the SE error code. Tried unplugging and recycling which did not work to clear the code. This sounds like it is a very common problem with these microwaves due to moisture. An over the stove microwave should be designed to handle being over the stove. What a load of crap. I will try fixing this myself and then calling Samsung to try to get them to repair this at no expense to me. I have a Samsung fridge as well and have had no issues with it.

We redid our kitchen at the beginning of last year and installed a Samsung microwave, model ME18H704SFS. After 8 months, the overhead light started coming on by itself. Not the high, but the low. I am not the first homeowner to complain about this very problem. It would seem this microwave has well-known issues and Samsung has not recalled the product. I guess Samsung can stand to have poor public relations. I will never purchase another Samsung product. Glenn **Belmont MA

Refrigerator was purchased on 2/20/12 at Best Buy. 22 months later it was not freezing or cooling. I contacted Best Buy and they informed me that I only had a 1-year warranty. I went home, pulled out my product information booklet and found that I also had a 5-year warranty on the sealed system (refrigeration system).I called Samsung on 12/20/2013. It is now 32 days later and my refrigerator is still not working. I have had 6 repair tickets, the first was cancelled by Samsung as they said my refrigerator was no longer under warranty. I reminded them of the 5-year warranty and stated that that seems to be the problem, the refrigeration system. The CSR said Well, it could be the computer! A repairman finally showed up on January 9, 2014, he walked in with parts in hand, Im not sure how he knew what to bring as no one had been to my house to look at the refrigerator. I think they assumed it was electronic as he replaced the mother board and I asked, So thats what was wrong? He responded Well, I cant tell by just looking at it but the compressor began working when I plugged the new one in. Then he said These sealed systems are so well made, they almost never go bad! Thus the assumption that its not the sealed system.Well 15 hours later (January 10, 2014 at 9 a.m.) refrigerator still not cooling and I called Samsung back. That was ticket #3, I am now on ticket #6 as #4 was cancelled on January 16th, something about after 7 days it has to be cancelled if nothing has happened with the ticket. Ticket #5, well the repairman they assigned this ticket to couldnt come for two weeks. At this point the CSR said, Let me see if I can request a replacement. I thought, now we are getting somewhere....only to find out 2 days later that this request could be denied and I would have to start all over with a new repair ticket. Also, if you request a replacement you get a pro-rated refund, not replacement value, the refrigerator is still under warranty if its the sealed system but they only offer you a pro-rated refund!Im not sure how Samsung can do this but they are apparently getting away with the absolute worst customer service I have ever encountered. 32 days and no refrigerator and medication that requires refrigeration. We have been living out of ice chests for 32 days and counting...

I purchased a Samsung 2 door with freezer drawer from Best Buy a little over a year ago. First problem was a build up of frozen ice under the cool select tray. I chipped the ice out figuring it might be some water that leaked under the tray by accident. Two weeks pass and the same thing happens again. I call Samsung and of course they say the warranty is out and they cant do anything to resolve my issue. A week later the ice maker goes out. How can a year old refrigerator have these issues? Samsung offers no remedy for the problems and the customer service is horrible. That was a complete waste of $1500.I will never purchase a Samsung product again. When I see people looking at Samsung refrigerators, I immediately tell them the issues I have and for them to look at the reviews before making the same mistake I did buying a Samsung refrigerator. If Samsung refuses to help me Im going to help others by persuading them to stay away from the Samsung product. I even took pictures of my issues to share with potential Samsung buyers.

I purchased two Samsung ranges in 2012 for my small cafe. I just wanted them for baking. I know any commercial use would void the warranty, but I believed I would get several good years out of the ovens for a 1200 dollar range. One night that winter 2012/2013 I was sitting at the counter late at night doing bookkeeping. I was baking at about 400-425 degrees, when I heard a loud pop and saw one of the ranges on fire in the rear. I grabbed the fire extinguisher and started putting out the flames when I realized these being electric just pulling the plug would probably solve the problem… I did, and the fire went out (I did have an awful mess of chemicals to clean up). I researched the problem on the internet and found this to be a common problem with Samsung ranges. I was and still am mad. For a large corporation to put such junk for sale, I am incredulous. Ive let the thing sit for almost a year, and am going to finally call someone to give me an estimate to fix, so I can fix or junk. I tell everyone I come in contact with not to buy Samsung anything. The other range is still used never over 350 degrees.

I have complaint to Samsung customer care regarding my refrigerator problem. She gave me the complaint number. When we call him after two days he told us that part is not available. Then after four five days later we call him again but he started ignoring our calls and he did not pick up the call then we once again started complaining to Samsung customer care but till date there is no solution. Now I think that taking very high expensive product of Samsung which is in lakh is no use for not availability of small part for such a big branded company. Thanks & regards Nimish ** Cell no: **.

I built my new home in September of 2020. I purchased new appliances the Samsung hub refrigerator as well as the black stainless steel gas duo smart oven. After having and using the stove for about 11 months I notice that there were areas where the appliance was peeling. I was confused as to why stainless steel was peeling only to find out that the black stainless steel is a layer of paint. I reached out to Samsung as well as Best Buy because I did purchase the extended warranties only to be told that this was a cosmetic issue and there was nothing that they could do about it. After being told this from both parties I was devastated. I have spent 7k on these appliances and theyre starting to look like crap. It has come to my knowledge that this is a common problem and there are a ton of consumers in the same boat as me. Samsung should be ashamed of its business practices. It is obvious that the craftsmanship of their black stainless steel is not up to par. As a consumer that works hard for my money what makes you think that I would pay so much for a product that starts to peel within a year of having it. As a consumer there was no disclosure of any indication that that could/would be the case. Otherwise I would have just opted for the regular stainless steel and not the black stainless steel. It is mind-boggling that Samsung treats their consumers this way after we send our hard-earned money to only end up with defective products that they are not willing to replace.

I have owned this microwave since 2010. Today it displayed the SE error. After reading online, I determined that it was due to the fact that the microwave is installed over the stove and steam from cooking affects the sensor on the control panel (its kind of hard to cook and not have steam!!!). I watched the YouTube video and repaired the panel accordingly. So far it is working - but who knows for how long! I also noticed that some people were calling Samsung and getting it repaired; however, when I called, I was told that my particular model was not covered by the epidemic warranty. Since other people with the same model got theirs repaired, it appears that the story from Samsung is different from different representatives!!! Most people seem to be having the same problem with Samsungs customer service and have additional problems even IF they actually get it repaired. I bought Samsung in good faith thinking that it was a quality product. I will replace it with another brand and will never buy a Samsung again.

We have had two different repair companies out to work on it, one of which is authorized repair shop. Within a few weeks it is back freezing the veggies again. But as usual, these companies get away with doing nothing. I am writing a letter to Sears where I purchased the unit. Thank goodness, I purchased the warranty. We bought our 1st Samsung side-by-side fridge in late-2006. Just after the 1-yr warranty expired, the twin cooling system froze in the refrigerator side. Recommended appliance repairman literally took a knife to chip ice off of the equipment. Had to call a 2nd repairman who completed it but discovered the touch screen didnt work properly (again not covered by warranty). In 2014, bought a 2nd Samsung (4-door model). Had problem with touch screen but when repairman came, couldnt duplicate problem. Of course, after warranty expired, housing for water filter started leaving debris (white substance) in the filter & ice & water stopped. Repairman said housing was a faulty design & Samsung was working to correct the design. Then he said the touch screen wasnt working either. After repeated calls to Samsung by me, the repairman & even my husband, the final conclusion from the manager was that they didnt have a record of the touch screen malfunctioning prior to warranty ending! So, like our 1st fridge (which we moved downstairs), we opted not to repair the touchscreen but did pay to replace the housing. This week I had repairman out for both fridges with identical problems as before. When filter housing was changed out in Sept-2015, it had not been redesigned. So... now $325 cost to repair housing & at least have confirmation it will be with redesigned part. Still leaving compromised touchscreen untouched. Cost to replace damaged parts on downstairs fridge = $505!Now if I wasnt smart enough to learn my lesson, when our washer went out we read consumer reports that highly recommended the Samsung appliances. Purchased them, immediately had problems - fought with Samsung for weeks and finally went to Lowes to let them know that their reputation was at stake because they sell Samsung products. Lowes went above and beyond and graciously took care of my problems with my dryer. Since that time I have received a recall about the problem with the washer. Sorry for this long. Review but Ive had more experience than I would like with Samsung and I do not believe in the quality nor their integrity. My advice to you - dont buy Samsung!

We have a Samsung Induction Range purchase in 2013. There have been consistent issues, but nothing as serious as last night. I was washing dishes when I heard a clicking sound. When I looked over at the range, the panel and burner lights were flashing. Within seconds there was an extremely loud pop and then major arcs and flames. Since our breaker box was in the next room, I was able to turn power off to the unit right away. The range is out of warranty, however, because an electrical fire should be considered a major safety issue, I contacted Samsung and explained what happened. So, Samsung is sending a appliance repairman out to assess the damage and because my oven was on fire, they wont charge me a diagnostic fee! Really Samsung? Shame on you! You should be taking this oven fire issue a little more seriously than you seem to be, especially in light of so many complaints that have been lodged against you just this year alone.

I purchased a Samsung french door refrigerator model #RF23HCEDBSR/AA at Home Depot on July 4, 2016 to replace my still working 23 year old Kenmore refrigerator/freezer. I also purchased a 2 year extended warranty on it. Two weeks ago I noticed anything liquid being refrigerated was freezing solid. Internet research says most likely the main control board has failed and will need to be replaced. The part runs about $130. I contacted Home Depot and they gave me the purchase order number but claim that I didnt purchase an extended warranty. Unfortunately, I cant locate my receipt. I did register the fridge with Samsung. I contacted Samsung and they advised me the fridge was out of warranty. To have it serviced would cost $160 just to come to my home and diagnose it. Parts and labor would be extra. So Im looking at a minimal of $300 to fix something that shouldnt have crapped out after fifteen months. After reading that thousands of other US consumers are dealing with similar issues with their Samsung appliance purchases, Im convinced this will be my last Samsung purchase until they make good on customer complaints and take action concerning quality control.

Whenever we were in the market to replace our appliances, I always looked to Samsung first. Here youve read all the stories about these microwaves and their failure on sensor errors just after the warranty expires. Its a poorly designed product that fails due to the humidity created when cooking on the stove. The only thing worse than the design of the product is Samsungs support for this inferior product.I havent replaced the unit yet because Im afraid the next unit I purchase (Hint: not a Samsung product) will encounter the same problems. We bought a Samsung refrigerator - French doors with freezer drawer on bottom model #RF217ACWP-XAA - in July 2012. What a MISTAKE! It was not even one year old, and the fridge wasnt cooling, the freezer was defrosting, over one inch of water was accumulating in both crisper drawers, and the ice maker stopped working. The fan built up with ice and would make a loud noise until it would freeze up solid. This is happening again for the FOURTH time since 2013! Three different repairmen have been here to fix the problems, and each one found low freon due to leakage. The last repairman who was here said the leaks are due to manufacturer defects, as there were faulty welds in the solder joints in the back of the sealed systems unit. Samsung has not been willing to replace the fridge or refund our purchase price. They refuse to acknowledge that they are selling defective merchandise to consumers. I will NEVER buy another Samsung product, and I advise others to do the same. If there is not a class action suit pending against Samsung, then there should be. Im fed up with their companys poor customer service and blatant disregard for consumers complaints!

Purchased a 4 door Samsung refrigerator (#RF25HMEDBSR/AA) in 9/03/14. It took almost 6 weeks to receive it. About 6 months after we purchased, two problems occurred. One with the flex temperature control drawer and the other was the ice maker. The ice maker started leaking every time ice was dispensed and would freeze up. We called customer service and a service man came out only to tell us that the ice maker was leaking water due to the humidity, which was totally ridiculous! A part was replaced, but in a month or so, same thing happened. A couple of months same thing. Again it was looked at (nothing was replaced), then on the fourth time, same issue.By this time warranty is out and again same issues and we were told that we would be paying for parts and labor since it was. This made absolutely no sense since it was an ongoing issue. They finally told us that we would have to pay the diagnosis fee and the labor and this time Samsung would pay for the parts. That was in March of this year, when several parts were replaced, and this afternoon the ice maker had to be warmed up with the hair dryer again for the second time, since repairs, to melt the ice AGAIN! This is not an inexpensive refrigerator, so you would expect better service and a much better product! I am not happy that we had to pay for a service charge and labor since we had been having same issue almost from the beginning of purchase! Very, very disappointed in this product!

We bought a Samsung DW7933 series dishwasher in July 2013, at Lowes, and the control panel is malfunctioning now. (5 year warranty on panel) We contacted Lowes first and they said they had about 50% of them come back with same issue which caused Samsung to stop manufacturing until issue was solved, but that we would have to call Samsung to service it since we hadnt purchased extended warranty. Samsung said they have no one in our area to service us, to contact Lowes and they will find someone. Lowes did, and an appt scheduled. Two days later we get a call from service people stating, they dont work on Samsung. Now, Lowes is contacting Samsung and we should receive a call back from Samsung in the next couple of days.

My hardwood floor is damaged - second time in two months! We found water puddling up on the right side facing the fridge. In searching for the source, we found a small puddle inside the fridge on the right side just under the large cold-cut drawer. On further inspection and upon taking the drawer out, we found a solid thick block of ice! In fact, it was very difficult to remove the drawer. We thought we were breaking something! That was two months ago. The Samsung authorized repairman told us that the back panel was frozen, we would have to turn the fridge off for 2 days and then he would come back, take the panel off and maybe find what was causing our problem. How do you store all your cold food for two days? Well, he said our fridge was too cold and that we caused the problem! Well, two months later the fridge was at recommended temp and the same problem happened again. Now, we find its a design problem and Samsung is sending out a bulletin to their authorized repair people in two weeks!

I would rate this refrigerator higher but ice forms behind the cover in back of the inside of the fridge which then stops the fan and then ice builds up and its all downhill from there. I have lost a lot of food. Samsung, as far as I know, has not addressed this problem. The problem seems simple to fix as the heating element in the back where the water freezes is not adequate. About every 4-5 months I have to remove the inside cover and use a blow dryer to melt the ice.

Bought a Samsung electric range (NE595R0ABSR) a little over 3 yrs ago and last week the circuit board caught on fire. Called Samsung about it and they told me that they would take care of the parts required, and all I had to do was pay for the installation from the contracted service repair. Now the third party service repair company told me that I had to pay for the parts and not the repair. The cost of parts a little over $430.00. Might as well buy a new stove and it will certainly not be a Samsung. Hopefully a class action lawsuit will come out against Samsung for their highly dangerous stove. I seen on a Canadian website that a few of them had the exact same problem. I will ensure that all Airmen under my command know what horrible customer service Samsung has and how dangerous their products are. I do not want any of them to have to worry about problems from their appliances when they are deployed.

They also are saying I bought the microwave in 2010, but that isnt true. The executive slipped up and told me that they actually go by date of manufacture and add two months to it. Next they just keep saying that they are not going to fix this problem even though you can go look anywhere online and see that they are having problems with all the keypads on their microwaves. Next, the tech support people really dont want to transfer you to anyone higher than them. They are smart ** over that. They are not going to do anything for you. One year after purchase, just after the warranty period finished, we found water freezing under and in the vegetable drawers. A month later we realized the paint was peeling off the handles. Searches online indicated other customers with the water problem had multiple service calls with no solution. Thinking that perhaps Samsung had found the solution since those calls happened, I tried contacting them. Since I had read of the same problem and the cause, I defrosted my fridge and was able to describe to Samsung exactly what was happening... but they wanted to send a service tech and charge me for the visit. I did not want to go through the useless repairs that other customers have gone through with no guarantee on their repairs, so we have not had a repairman. Every two or three months we defrost the fridge. Now the handles are looking awful and I dont know if they can do anything other than replace them with handles that have the same defect. Oh, my gosh. 28cf French Door, luckily with a five-year extended warranty. After less than 2 years, plastic crisper drawers cracked. Since we just moved in, there was minimal items in drawers. They said it was normal wear and tear. Original owner was 85 years old, for goodness sakes. Last year, ice maker froze, was replaced, and froze again. Christmas 2018, whole back wall was all ice. Tech had to stream it to melt. Had to come back with part. Oops. Had to come back again with more parts because back wall was cracked. Samsung claimed it was cosmetic damage. I would not settle for that. Customer service is horrible! The extended warranty company did not want to cover cosmetic damage. I sent a full backup package, with a timeline, to our AG Consumer office and filed a complaint. Shortly after that, I received a check for the purchase price as a warranty buy out. WE HATE THIS FRIDGE! Samsung should be ashamed! This is the side by side model # rs25h5111sr. Its 2015 & with the tech we have now, there shouldnt be these issues. I have over 5 major complaints about this fridge! 1st the noise! When we open the freezer door & then shut it, it sounds like the haunted mansion over @ Diz! It expands & creaks like the walls in the haunted mansion. It was so comical, I invited neighbors over to witness it! They think its hysterical, we do not! When we also open the freezer door & shut it, theres a knocking sound like someone with a hammer is banging for about 3 or 4 times! The thing pops & cracks but not just little pops or cracks. Its so loud it awakens us in the middle of the night! Sounds like someone breaking into our home. The motor is also noisy... why? Did Samsung forget to put needed insulation in this fridge or did they just make it cheaply? After realizing the drawers were cheap slide in & out, we have decided Samsung made everything CHEAPLY! The ice machine sounds like a fire hose when it fills the ice tray. Weve adjusted the water pressure & still sounds the same! We were going to return it the 1st wk. We called Samsung & were told that the fridge needs to adjust & the plastic is new... yada, yada, yada. We also didnt return it due to it works its just SUPER NOISY & getting it in & out of the house is a total fiasco! Samsungs engineers need to go back to school & learn what fridges In the US are supposed to sound like, which is quiet! The other issues we do not care for are: The drawer placement, along with no wheels on the drawers & the unusual light they decided to put in the back of the fridge. The light isnt a good kind of light. Its eerie which goes along w/ the haunted like noise that comes from it! Dont buy this fridge if you want peace & quiet!

My Samsung refrigerator is less than two years old and the ice maker doesnt work. We have done all the recommended fixes several times. Both Best Buy and Samsung will not do anything to help. Reliable appliance repairmen wont work on Samsung appliances and say they cant even get parts. Also the interior design isnt very good. The door shelves have an extra metal trim and there is space between it and the plastic wall. If something spills and gets between the metal and the plastic wall it is a nightmare to clean. My Samsung refrigerator is five or six years old. Since the beginning, I have had problems with it. (Water accumulated underneath the vegetable and fruit drawers.) While under warranty, the refrigerator was repaired by Samsung without a problem. When the same problem recurred, the refrigerator was out of warranty. Since it was the same problem, I sought help from Samsung. The tirade I was exposed to from the manager of the support/repair department at Samsung was shameful and insulting. He was indignant that I should ask for a repair from Samsung and scolded me like I was a 5-year old. He said that a five or six year old refrigerator was already very old and then asked how long did I expect a refrigerator to work anyhow? He went on and on until I finally said Thank you and Good bye.Today I replaced that defective part myself and found that when it was repaired the first time, a used or refurbished part had been installed. This was obvious by the amount of duct tape and silver tape (used by heating duct installers) that held the part together on the side on the back, hidden from view. I was surprised the used part lasted as long as it did. I will NEVER recommend Samsung products to anyone. I am thoroughly disappointed in the refrigerator and the so-called manager without any managerial qualifications. I prefer to remain anonymous but if Consumer Affairs needs more verification, I will be happy to supply copies of whatever I have.

My fridge did the same thing as been reported about these type refrigerators, the back panel freezes in fridge side and stops cooling fridge. After multiple times pulling back panel off and defrosting with a hair dryer, I did all my research online in forums and here was what I did to solve problem. I found out it was a fairly inexpensive defroster type electrical thing that clipped onto the defrost line behind the panel where the fridge side cooled, so I replaced it. When the fridge goes into defrost mode is when the pooling water problem happens, because the drain hole is frozen but if you take a piece of clothes hangar and wrap one end around the defrost line and allow the other end to drop into drain hole, it will heat up and keep drain hole from freezing. It has been working for about 4 years now without any problem, except only produces crushed ice.

Our over the range stainless steel MWO was installed professionally on 12/28/12. On March 2, 2015 the little plastic piece inside the stainless steel handle (now theres construction for you) to which the handle is attached to the door cracked and fell out. The small 50 cent piece cannot be purchased of course, a full handle assembly to the tune of $56 is required for this fix. No sooner does the handle arrive in the mail, that the hook-clasp spring inside the door stops functioning and now the door wont even stay shut. This model has the electronics in the door, so replacement is about half the cost of the microwave.A phone call to Samsung this morning (3/18/2015) yielded nothing but frustration. I feel like I am a pretty good Samsung customer with the Samsung Range, Samsung Refrigerator, Samsung 10 tablet, 2 Samsung smart phones and 2 Samsung Smart TVs (40 & 50) and 2 Samsung DVD Players. I would think that level of customer would command a certain amount of loyalty from the company. After climbing up to the 1st level of supervisor, my frustration wouldnt allow me chase it further, since they both did the same search for recalls or problems and essentially used the same word tracks. So now I walk the walk of how much to spend on repairs: The MWO is available at Lowes for $449. Installation/delivery is $125. Repairs: $56 for the new handle; $75 Repairman Trip; a new door costs $200. Refrigerator: The door shelf has had to be replaced to the tune of $80. Samsung looks pretty but seems to lack good construction and durability. I never had any issues with any of my GE appliances; nor those that we sold when I was in remodel construction. Guess Ill go back to GE.

7, yes, 7 Samsung fridges since May 2011 and not one has lasted. Tried side by sides and moved all the way up to 4 high-end French door models on sale for half price due to holidays. I can see why they can sell these lemons for so cheap, because they are junk. Nothing but major issue after major issue. Samsung could care less. My retailer was good, but even they kept saying “no way you could get so many defective fridges.” Oh, yes, I can and did. I have the service records to prove it; not that that means much considering every technician was clueless with no idea how to fix it. So they just try one or two things and when it doesn’t fix anything, they just say: “Defective, can’t be fixed.” And of course that’s only if they actually show up for the scheduled service call. Personally, I think Samsung should pull every model fridge they sell off of store shelves and should not be allowed to sell these obvious lemons to the public unless they learn how to make a fridge that works and one that can be fixed if something goes wrong. Why won’t the govt step in and stop Samsung immediately? Makes no sense that our governing bodies will not or have not yet, stepped in to the picture and make Samsung recall all fridges until they prove they can make a reliable fridge. Samsung’s are lemons, plain and simple, and should not be allowed to be sold to consumers in the U.S. If other countries want Samsung lemons, then that is their choice; but here in the USA, no way should they be allowed to sell these inferior lemons! Never will I ever go near any Samsung product ever again. Was actually looking at a new Samsung HD TV, but no way will I support Samsung or give them another penny of my money ever!

I have made the mistake of purchasing Samsung appliances in the last 2 years. Within the first year, the washing machine broke. After several calls to Samsung, a service technician came to our house to repair the machine. At this time, the technician reported back to Samsung that the washer needed to be replaced. I realized at that point that our situation was looking like the beginning of a nightmare. After several conversations between the service technician and Samsung, our machine was finally replaced. We also purchased a Samsung dishwasher. Within 13 months I had to hire a service technician to replace the thermostat (error 1E, 3E) for 282.50. Now, almost another later, another error OE. I will NEVER buy anything Samsung EVER again!

Bought a Samsung dishwasher from Best Buy and had installed late Jan 2014. Once installed had service come out to the house FOUR (4) times to repair. Would just stop working. It never cleaned that well. Glasses always came out dirty. So here we are AGAIN, the dishwasher has stopped working but because we are now over a year they say our warranty is out and refuse to fix it. If you buy a brand new product and within the first year need service 4 times, dont you think there is an issue? And its convenient that the last time they came out they said if we needed service again they would just replace it... Its pathetic Samsung does not stand behind their products. But I guess they really dont want to because its crap. And in my opinion, my warranty shouldve started over every time they had to come out and repair it.

Own a French door Samsung Fridge and water accumulates and freezes at bottom of fridge. Have to empty the fridge, take back panel out and thaw out drain line which will probably freeze again shortly. Sears, where the fridge was bought, claim to have never heard of problem however internet is full of complaints and there are several Youtube videos in how to fix problem. Had issues with brand new unlocked Samsung phone and after spending hours writing Emails and calling service center went out and bought Motorola phone. Samsung service is pathetic and will NEVER buy another Samsung product as long as I live. I have since bought a TV, a tablet, two phones, a dishwasher, washer and dryer all brands other than Samsung. How a company can be so arrogant and probably successful is beyond me. I asked clerk to speak to a superior and she said that she did not report to anyone and was given email for headquarters. Receive same form email back, total waste of time. Spent two hours to repair fridge, threw out food and if it freezes again I will cut my losses and buy a new one (this one was $2K).

I have purchased this product (AR24HV5NBWKNNA) from Samsung Dealer in May 2014 and from the date of purchase Im not satisfied with the product. Installation of A/C was not proper as it took 12 hours by your engineer. Then in next year 2015 the A/C was not performing and called Samsung and executive visited and directly filled gas in warranty without inspecting the reason of leakage, and gradually after 3 months again cooling decreased. Also water leakage from indoor unit started immediately after refilling and now in current season when unit was started there was no cooling and when engineer visited on 1st call he immediately order a gas refilling without inspecting the reason for leakage. And so the second complaint was lodged and then that engineer inspected the actual reason for regular gas leakage i.e. leakage found in cooling coil which was the only reason for 1st time non cooling, which should have been searched and rectified in 2015 when the gas was refilled the first time. We were given an only option to replace to new cooling coil at our cost whereas I feel problem shouldnt have arised in the 1st year of purchase which I feel was not expected from the world leader brand like Samsung. Right now I and my Family uses Samsung brand TV, AC, refrigerator, phones, washing machine, microwave. Also further we have to install new units at my Factory and 2 Houses but now after experiencing such problem within a year I feel I should rethink over that. Also during water leakage from indoor unit my Indoor Wooden cabinet along with printer and mobiles were damaged. If you wish to see the leakage I have shot a video of it. Also, a suggestion. This kind of malfunction directly hits your Brand Reputation that how Samsung deals with its product Malfunctioning. I strongly request you to please look into this matter on priority as the season has started and there is a need to run the Air Conditioner. So replace the defective part or replace the whole unit.

My stove top had a crack on the top, due to the heating element getting too hot. After dealing with Samsung for 4 weeks on the phone (could not hear us -- they keep hanging up and they keep saying the wrong email address, and no one spoke English) they claim that our 1 1/2 old stove is not covered for labor only parts. This is clearly a manufacturer defect and no one will help us. I have all Samsung in our home, everything from phones to the washer and dryer. I will never, ever buy Samsung again. This company is a mess and the customer service is so BAD. They are rude and scripted.

I purchased a Samsung refrigerator (model RS265TD) from Lowes on 8-1-2012. This purchase has been the most horrible experience of our life. We have had 4 repairs, with a 5th one scheduled, for this horrible noise that sounds like a B52 bomber taking off (just 2 months after purchasing) followed by a defective solenoid supposedly because the repairman could not figure what else it could be because the computer showed no problem even though it would take days for the ice maker to make ice. Then again in November and in January 2013, when the noise continued and the ice maker would shoot ice out 30 feet all on its own followed by not working at all and noise still continuing, another repair. Then again, another horrid noise. We called the company again. They scheduled the service call and when the repairman showed, Samsung said that there were no previous repairs and that it did not warrant any replacement or refund. This past March 2013, they kept their repairman on the phone for 2 hours and we also were on the phone. They kept passing the buck. Lowes isnt any better. They washed their hands of anything after 30 days. I am checking with my lawyer now. No one, and I mean no one, should buy from Samsung. They are horrible and do not stand by their warranty. Run from this and all of their products as fast as you can.

This refrigerator was not worth the money. No space to put much of anything. The electronics were hacked and I had people talking to me from another country in my kitchen. Not happy with this at all. It keeps wanting you to replace the 50 dollar water filter when you barely used it. Also door shelf already got brittle and pieces broke off where it connects to the door. Do yourself a favor and save your money. This was definitely not worth the money. I hate it.

I have a $3000.00 5 yr old fridge. Every month, it starts getting extremely loud & we have to unplug it overnight to defrost then plug it back in again. When we called for support, they were no help so we live with the fact that we have to do this monthly to a really expensive refrigerator thats not that old. A few days ago, I was washing the largest shelf (plastic casing & tempered glass shelf) & when I rested the shelf on the counter to dry it, the glass just exploded into countless small shards of glass. I was in bare feet & cut myself trying to get out of the kitchen to get the broom. I called for the glass shelf & after getting told to call the parts dept. I was told that the glass shelf was never available on its own, the whole shelf was $155 part and discontinued so I was referred back to the original number to find out if there is a comparable part from a more current fridge that will work.I was routed to the U.S by the automated bot (I am in Canada) & after a 16min. phone call, I was told to call the same number again & make sure I was routed within Canada this time (how I was to do that, I have no idea). I called again & this time had to wait 30min. for a callback only to find out that they cant do anything except of course sell me another $3000 fridge if I wanted. I am now going to try & get someone to cut me a piece of glass to fit the shelf on my own.... Stay as far away from Samsung as possible-they need to stick to TVs-DO NOT buy an appliance from them, you will regret it!

Bought 2 of these Samsung RF263BEAESR refrigerators for my sons. A few months later we realized they were both running practically all the time. On investigation we found that when the right door is closed last, it blows the left door open about 1/4 inch which exposes the interior of the refrigerator to outside air, rendering the insulation ineffective. However, its not enough to set off the door alarm so you wont know it. Samsungs warranty servicer for my area says its normal for this model and Samsung will not warranty this problem. My advice: stay away from this refrigerator unless you love to pay high electric bills. I wasted $3500 on these. I know I will never buy another Samsung product.

It worked fine for two days then the SE code reappeared. Were seniors so this thing is not abused. Looking online, it seems this unit has many other unhappy owners. It seems to me this may be related to the prior recall.

We purchased our French door refrigerator in 2009. Since the warranty lapsed after the first year, we have had to have it repaired 2 times each time costing close to $300 and are now in need of repairs again! Same problem, the back freezes up and the evaporator fan breaks. It is almost impossible to find a repairman who wants to work on them for two reasons: you cannot get the parts (each time they have to be ordered from Korea) and they take days to thaw out before you can even open them to do the repair! I have been in contact with the company only to be told there wasnt anything they could do. Samsung has a no refund no return policy and after the year they will do nothing unless you purchase their extended warranty. Every repairman has told me they should not even be sold! And to never buy kitchen appliances from Samsung or LG! I called Samsung today, spent over an hour on hold and was told they will not back their product... I am so disappointed in this purchase!

In general our machine is absolutely perfect. There are a few little idiosyncrasies, like the center cap on top of the lower drum axle, that's made out of plastic. It looks like chrome, but it's plastic. And it breaks at least once a year, and you have to buy one off of eBay or Amazon. The only other complaint is the whole mess around Samsung switching out the labels on the dial because of the betting balance issue. Kind of a pain in the ** really but it was a one-time deal. All in all love this machine.

My husband and I purchased a new home July 2016. Kitchen had brand new appliances. We already had a repair done in Samsung dishwasher in which took over a week to get repaired. That was only after 5 uses. December 23, 2016 my refrigerator failed. Lost everything. Called the customer service at Samsung because they are brand new appliances. They should not be failing. The few people that I spoke to were not able to help get someone out. Spoke to supervisor. Got a local repair to come out that Friday to tell us what we known it was the compressor. Its a holiday weekend, company was coming and a baby in house. Samsung certainly did not see our frustrations. The guy at repair center said it will take 3 to five days for part to come in. That brings us to the middle of the week. Called repair center said it may be in Friday. I called Samsung again today 12/27/16 and told them the issue. Basically there is nothing they could do other than wait for the part even though it will be almost 2 weeks without a refrigerator that should not have failed (in warranty repair). I asked the supervisor at Samsung if they can expedite the part. She said no theres nothing they can do other than wait. Again I tried pleading my case. I have a baby in the house and other young children not to mention it is 60 out in RI today and losing everything in coolers. They did not resolve this pressing issue or the fact that I lost too and bottom of the food in refrigerator that is worth about 300 and the food I had to replace that I lost. Their customer service is just trained to patch the problem. They sound more like counselors than trying to make their product right.

We have to pull the refrigerator back out unplugged it, leave it unplugged for 2 hours plug it back in level it again before it will work. Ill never buy another Samsung. We also have their range which I have had to have a replacement part for as well. We have only owned these appliances for three years. But its long enough to know that Samsung does not build a reliable appliance. I only used a 1-star rating because I couldnt leave it blank.

We purchased a Samsung Fridge that was delivered 10-22-18. The ice maker never worked. Auger would get stuck pushing the ice drawer out and causing it to bang on the inside of the refrigerator door. No ice would come out. Then we would have to open the door, shake the ice drawer at which time we would get chips of ice even though it was on cubed. Called Lowes and they sent out a repair company that replaced the ice maker. Within 3 days the ice maker is doing the same thing again. It is a flawed design and Lowes said even though we just bought it it was two weeks out of guarantee to replace! We purchased the extended warranty but the problem cant be fixed. Lowes is selling a defective product that is now part of a class action lawsuit. This Samsung Model RF23J9011 is part of the lawsuit. Why would Samsung continue to make defective ice makers AND why would Lowes keep selling them when they have to know, based on the numerous calls they are getting with the same complaint, that these refrigerators are garbage. Just get your $2,400 and throw it out the window. UGH.

We bought the over-the-range oven, Samsung model# SMH9187ST in May 2010. In June 2011, the error code - SE - appeared on the display. Tried to unplug/restart. That worked for a couple of times. Called to Samsung customer service, that told me that nothing can be done, since the 1 year of warranty has expired, but we can pay out of pocket to get it serviced. Naturally, we refused, since it would make more financial sense to buy a new oven, than to service an old one that would get broken in another year or so. Samsung doesnt stand for its products. Its a fairly simple kitchen appliance to be broken after 1 year of use. Would be very reluctant to buy another Samsung product, again. For the past 2 years, its been used as the over-the-range night light.

I spent over $2500 for a new Samsung counter depth refrigerator in mid 2015
I spent over $2500 for a new Samsung counter depth refrigerator in mid 2015 after I remodel my kitchen. It works fine for about 1 1/2 year. After 1 1/2 year, I started to have problems. A year ago the freezer will not go down to the temperature I set. Even I set it to minor 8 degree F, it only went down 15 degree F. I was advised by some website to reset the refrigerator by turning off the power overnight. I did and it worked again. Six months ago, no ice came out from the ice maker. I open the ice maker and found it completely frozen. I turned the power off and blow some warm air to melt the ice. After I removed the ice, it worked again.A couple weeks ago, the freezer warmed up again. This time, I know resetting the refrigerator can only solve the problem for a few months so I called Samsung service center. A technical came, open the freezer and spent half an hours checking. He told me that defrost sensor went bad and the ice built up blocking the cold air from entering the freezer. Also the cover needed to be replaced. I ask him if the repair will take care of the ice maker frozen problem. He told me that it is a different problem and many people have the same problem due to design issue and Samsung offered to repair it free even warranty expired. I called Samsung but with no luck, Samsung refused to have it fixed. Repairing the ice maker will cost another $400.The technician left and 2 days later, another technician came with the parts. He did some more checking and told me that the cover did not need to be replaced but the control board did not send power to the heater. Unfortunately, the previous technician did not check the control board so he need to order the control board and will come back later. He told me that I should purchase extended warranty. I went to online chat with Samsungs Chat site and was told that I can purchase extend warranty even the refrigerator warranty expired. The gentlemen even told me that the I should get some discount for the current repair if I elected to purchase extended warranty. He gave me the number to call.I called Samsung extended warranty department and found out that extend warranty cost $550 a year and will be effective 30 days after all repairs were done and I needed to show them receipts of all repairs. There will be no discount to current repair either. I was surprised that extended warranty cost $550/year for a refrigerator. The conclusion was the refrigerator will experience problems very often, maybe an average of once a year because average repair cost will be 4 to 5 hundred dollar each time. This policy tells us to expect Samsung refrigerator to be repaired once a year. This morning, I found out that the water dispenser at the refrigerator started leaking. Oh boy, another problem I have to deal with. I did a quick estimate. It will cost me about $1450 to have everything repaired and spend $550 for a one year extended warranty. That is $2000. Should I buy a new one instead. My last refrigerator was a 20 years old GE. It is still in the garage working fine. The other one was a 35 years old Whirlpool. I gave it away when I purchased the Samsung. My GE and Whirlpool gave me a combined 55 years of trouble free service while the Samsung gave me 3 problems in 2 1/2 years.

About 6 months after purchasing and installing our OTR Samsung microwave, the popcorn setting began to burn up the bags of popcorn so we quit using that setting. Then roughly 8 months later (and after the warranty ran out) our microwave started to turn itself off and give an SE error message. After doing this for three or four times, the front panel just went out and never came back on regardless of our attempts to revive it.I went online and began to research the problem and it is very obvious that this is an inherent problem with Samsung OTR microwaves despite their previous top rating. And most of the reports state that the replacement costs are prohibitive and the replacement parts also malfunction. Now we are stuck with a $350.00 piece of junk and it is not even 1 1/2 years since the purchase! Planned obsolescence? I bought this microwave because it was highly rated and because it matched my other Samsung kitchen appliances. Oh well, I cant get my money back and it doesnt make any sense to repair it - so it goes to the landfill. Ridiculous! I wont buy another one, but I do wish that everyone knew about the issues with these microwaves prior to even considering this brand of microwave oven, especially because this is an ongoing problem and Samsung is well aware of it.

I really want to share my bad experience with Samsung Microwave Model ME18H
I really want to share my bad experience with Samsung Microwave Model ME18H704SFS/AC. I wish I would google Samsung microwaves before buying one. I just read report from people who bought microwave in February 2016. I bought mine on May 2, 2016 from Best buy in Vancouver Canada. I also bought 5 years warranty on this microwave. On 28th day after purchasing we tried to warm up bowl of soup (in microwavable dish), and we felt a burning smell coming from microwave. When I opened the door I discovered a fire on the right wall of microwave. I was able to stop the fire with kitchen towel. I cannot operate this microwave any longer because it is a fire hazard in my house.Same day I called to SAMSUNG customer service. They gave a case number and told me that somebody will contact me. Next day I called them again and they transferred me to some kind escalation department. The manager from escalation department said that if he will get pictures and receipt from me now, he will speed up the process. I emailed him pics and have not heard anything after that. On Monday, I called again to customer service. The manager told me that she could not find me in her database, she also said that they were not able to open up my pictures. I told her to transfer me to the escalation department. After 30 min wait I was able to talk to a guy who confirmed receiving pictures. He also was able to open them up. He told me that he sent my case to the Head office. I asked him why nobody sent me a simple email with acknowledgement of receiving my email. He did not have any answer for me. I asked him what is the reasonable time to get an answer from Head office. At the beginning he said 48 hours and then he did not know. He also said that he has no idea what kind outcome I should expect. And just to add to this story... I called to the insurance provider for Best Buy. They told me that they cannot touch my microwave because it is a factory defect which appeared in first 30 days. I am not even upset anymore. This company is a joke. Samsung really needs to get a lesson for producing dangerous and unreliable appliances and treating consumers so poorly. I will wait for 48 hours (legally you have to give them some time to rectify the situation). If Samsung will not replace their lousy microwave I will take this matter to Small Claim Court and I really want to.
