I purchased a Samsung microwave SMH1611B at the Lowes in Douglasville, Georgia in Sept. 2012, paid $167 (sale) for the beautiful merchandise. I brought it home and in Oct. 2012, the microwave began to make a loud noise. As the timer decreased, the noise became louder. I contacted Lowes. They sent out service people to make the repairs, had to replace the transformer. All worked well until Dec. 2012. The microwave started doing the same thing except the noise wasnt as loud so again, I called Lowes. Appointment was set up and the repair man came again but, this time, after explaining to them that it was doing the same thing, they came without the transformer and had to reschedule and they came back on this past Monday in Jan. 2013 to replace the transformer. Today is Wednesday, January15. Now there is no noise today. Its not heating. Must I say how disappointed I am with this microwave? You have to have 3 service calls and the technicians have to tell you that the microwave is no good for them to give you another microwave. This doesnt make any sense. I should have taken the microwave back and got my money back. I will never purchase another Samsung microwave as long as I live. It is, however, still under warranty being that I just purchased it in Sept. 2012 and its now Jan. 2012.

Purchased a Samsung microwave 2 years ago. After six months of use, panel board would not work. Under warranty - motherboard was replaced. Six months later, now out of warranty, same problem. Motherboard needs replacing. Contacted Samsung and tried to direct me to schedule service repair at my cost. I asked both service support people what they would do, if they would purchase another Samsung product. Neither of them would answer as far as what they would purchase. Leads me to believe they would not purchase a Samsung product. I would strongly advise people to purchase anything but a Samsung product.

Numerous efforts have been made to stop the refrigerator from leaking all over the floor. Parts replaced several time$$$. Samsung has no interest in correcting this. Now, the leaking appears to have been corrected (time will tell). The new problem is failure of temperatures to set/hold for both the freezer and the refrigerator! Refrigerator is at 61 degrees! Should be at 38 degrees! Freezer was at 28 and should be at -2. Perform power reset...no change. Samsung has refused to do anything even though it a clearly known issue - just look at the complaints all over the internet! Nothing has happened (power outages, relocation, ...nothing) to cause these problems.

We purchased our Samsung dishwasher just over a year ago from Home Depot. It has proven to be our worst purchase ever. It does not only NOT clean our dishes, it actually leaves our glasses dirtier than when they went in... Appears that food particles spray around the dishwasher but arent actually cleaned from the dishes & glasses. Saw a W5 program that highlighted how bad these machines really are. Hopefully, Home Depot will do something about this.

I spent over $2500 for a new Samsung counter depth refrigerator in mid 2015
I spent over $2500 for a new Samsung counter depth refrigerator in mid 2015 after I remodel my kitchen. It works fine for about 1 1/2 year. After 1 1/2 year, I started to have problems. A year ago the freezer will not go down to the temperature I set. Even I set it to minor 8 degree F, it only went down 15 degree F. I was advised by some website to reset the refrigerator by turning off the power overnight. I did and it worked again. Six months ago, no ice came out from the ice maker. I open the ice maker and found it completely frozen. I turned the power off and blow some warm air to melt the ice. After I removed the ice, it worked again.A couple weeks ago, the freezer warmed up again. This time, I know resetting the refrigerator can only solve the problem for a few months so I called Samsung service center. A technical came, open the freezer and spent half an hours checking. He told me that defrost sensor went bad and the ice built up blocking the cold air from entering the freezer. Also the cover needed to be replaced. I ask him if the repair will take care of the ice maker frozen problem. He told me that it is a different problem and many people have the same problem due to design issue and Samsung offered to repair it free even warranty expired. I called Samsung but with no luck, Samsung refused to have it fixed. Repairing the ice maker will cost another $400.The technician left and 2 days later, another technician came with the parts. He did some more checking and told me that the cover did not need to be replaced but the control board did not send power to the heater. Unfortunately, the previous technician did not check the control board so he need to order the control board and will come back later. He told me that I should purchase extended warranty. I went to online chat with Samsungs Chat site and was told that I can purchase extend warranty even the refrigerator warranty expired. The gentlemen even told me that the I should get some discount for the current repair if I elected to purchase extended warranty. He gave me the number to call.I called Samsung extended warranty department and found out that extend warranty cost $550 a year and will be effective 30 days after all repairs were done and I needed to show them receipts of all repairs. There will be no discount to current repair either. I was surprised that extended warranty cost $550/year for a refrigerator. The conclusion was the refrigerator will experience problems very often, maybe an average of once a year because average repair cost will be 4 to 5 hundred dollar each time. This policy tells us to expect Samsung refrigerator to be repaired once a year. This morning, I found out that the water dispenser at the refrigerator started leaking. Oh boy, another problem I have to deal with. I did a quick estimate. It will cost me about $1450 to have everything repaired and spend $550 for a one year extended warranty. That is $2000. Should I buy a new one instead. My last refrigerator was a 20 years old GE. It is still in the garage working fine. The other one was a 35 years old Whirlpool. I gave it away when I purchased the Samsung. My GE and Whirlpool gave me a combined 55 years of trouble free service while the Samsung gave me 3 problems in 2 1/2 years.

I am so upset with SAMSUNG appliances. We purchased a refrigerator Model #RF28HFEDBSR from them in 2014. It worked fine until months ago when we had Samsungs provider One Stop Appliance come and fix it. $330 and a 90 day warranty. At 120 days the same problem occurred so we called the Geek Squad because we purchased it at Best Buy. They came and fixed the exact same problem for another $330. Now we are again about 20 days out of the 90 day warranty and Samsung WONT DO ANYTHING!!Its ridiculous that we have to pay for the same issue to be fixed over and over again. They are supposed to have such good customer service but we are certainly not feeling it. They told me twice they would help but they would charge us AGAIN to fix the same problem for a THIRD time!! Why do they get high ratings??? I dont understand it. STAY AWAY FROM SAMSUNG APPLIANCES!! BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. Please share! Thanks.

Defective refrigerator model RF267AEBP - Before I bought my Samsung 3 years ago, I researched the product and could not find any negative comments. Now my Twin Cooling system (that they advertise as something great) freezes the air vents in the refrigerator, causing the fan to stop working. Samsung customer service is a crappy as their refrigerators. I will never never ever buy anything made by this company again.

The refrigerator is not cooling and is reading 55 degrees. We have ice forming on the back wall of the fridge plus it looks like it is swelling. Now there looks to be mold on the rubber seal. We have called them and they came out & said it would cost 300.00 to fix... This fridge is only 2 yrs old & @ 1800.00, they should cover it. There are only the 2 of us using this thing. If a family of 4 would have bought it - would have only lasted a yr. Very, very bad product!!!

Over the last couple of weeks, I noticed tiny amounts of water at the bottom corner edge of my refrigerator (RF28HFEDTSR), right underneath the pull out drawer for the freezer. Thought it was just an ice cube that had found its way under the refrigerator and melted. This morning, I noticed the edges of my hardwood floors buckling up. Discovered water leaking from the top of the refrigerator that must have been seeping into the floor. Turned off ice maker and turned off water to refrigerator. Water still leaking from the top. Ive had to replace the towel twice within a two hour period. From what Ive read online, this is a very common problem with no real fix. Samsung, step up and do the right thing. Your product is defective. This refrigerator is less than 2 years old!

Purchase a Samsung dishwasher in January 2014. I was very excited. It was very nice looking - all stainless steel. It just finished off the appliances that I had in the kitchen and it was a Samsung and they make good everything else so the dishwasher had to be good. Made the mistake of not buying the extended warranty as Ive had issues with those with other companies in the past. What a mistake from the start. The dishwasher gave his problems. At first it didnt want to drain properly then four months in, the lights were flashing on and we had to call Samsung who sent somebody out 4 days later to tell me that it needed a new control board. Shouldve realized that there was a big issue when the repairman himself told us that Samsung was having problems with this machine.Next came the noise that it made but it was draining and then after that came the awful smell and two weeks ago the light started blinking again and guess what out of warranty and Samsung wont help which is just fine because in my opinion it is the biggest piece of garbage I have ever wasted my money on. Samsung should be ashamed of themselves selling this to the public. Do they not realize that theyre hurting any reputation that they had.

This refrigerator was installed by the RV Company in our RV. After one trip, the refrigerator stopped cooling. I called Samsung and got nothing but a run around. It seems that there is not a repairman anywhere in our area. We now have a Refrigerator that wont cool and was only used two weeks. We dont have a receipt for this refrigerator because it was installed in the RV by the manufacturer. Samsung has a problem understanding that when you buy an RV, you dont get receipts for every item installed in them. Buyer be aware that Samsung supposedly does there on repair work but there may not be a service center in your area!!

Our $3300 Samsung refrigerator was bought new. After 13 months it stopped cooling. They sent a Samsung technician out twice (three week process). They decided after another two week review they didnt know what was wrong with it so they would send us a refund. We immediately uploaded all the requested documentation to the refunds dept. We were told it takes three to five days to process it. So we were now into January. We have a family of 6 without a refrigerator throughout the holidays. I followed up after three days, of course I was reminded its three to FIVE days. So at day five I call. Im told they input the model number in wrong which caused the refund to reject. They would be happy to re-input the refund with the correct model #. It would take ANOTHER 3-5 days. That was January 11. Here it is January 18. We are still getting the run around from countless supervisors telling us we should have it by the end of the day (weve been told that the past three days). The lack of concern, urgency, and follow up by Samsung has certainly cemented the fact that our family will never purchase Samsung again. I hope this can help someone else avoiding getting caught in this as well.

My fridge was only just 6 years old purchased in December 2013. It was stored in my shed, switched off, not used from Jan 2018 to Oct 2019 while we renovated. It just stopped working by not getting cold in January 2020 after being back in service for 4 months. I could not get a Samsung service agent to look at it. Finally a fridge mechanic that I found, advised me the fridge has failed to hold the refrigerant gas and even though the compressor was still working fine it cannot be repaired. I called Samsung Australia several l times and also used chat, had to follow up 5 times and despite my case being looked into as it was outside warranty any help or warranty replacement was denied. Reading the ACA website I would class this as a major fault that could not be repaired. Had I have known that there was a chance that a major fault would occur in only 5 years an expensive $2000,00 fridge would be thrown in the rubbish then I would have never purchased this brand. Its possible the pipework with the gas was poor quality material and can breakdown, something that never used to happen. A good quality fridge should last 10-15 years.. It has leaked all the poisonous R5 gas into the ozone layer and my kitchen and Samsung did not care. Samsung only offer a 2 year standard warranty on the new fridge products..So dont expect it to last much longer than that. Good looking fridge to attract you in, but I will never recommend you buy a Samsung fridge. Once bitten twice shy.

This is the third time in less than 2 years that we have had to order replacement parts for what we thought was a fantastic product. First in 13 months after purchase the left vegetable drawer had to be replaced because a piece broke off, then 6 months later one of the door bins on the right refrigerator door cracked and broke. Today I have ordered hinges for both the left and right vegetable drawers which have cracked pieces. Ive had this Samsung (Model RS277ACPN) for 4 yrs now. Its a replacement for the first one I purchased in 2007, in which the motherboard became inoperable. Ive been finding plastic bits/shavings in my drinks. I have discovered its a result of plastic parts that have broken or fallen apart. At first discovery, I choked on the tiny piece. I cleaned out the ice compartment and discovered the broken plastic mechanism. I would recommend they replace these parts with a metal alloy to prevent someone from choking and filing a lawsuit. Despite this problem, I still like my Samsung products. I also own a Samsung washer, dryer, and television which have served me well.

Refrigerator is three year old and cost about $2000. Last week the evaporator fan (inside of the refrigerator) started getting noisy. After looking online and discovering that this is a common issue I contacted the support people at Samsung. I received a canned response that said it could be caused by lots of things. They recommended that I unplug the refrigerator for 24 hours to let the evaporator thaw and for the ice to melt. If it happens again Im supposed to call for a repair appointment. We had to move all of our contents out of the refrigerator to let the evaporator thaw before we could get the cover off to clean out the drain. This is a really poor product backed up by offshore support auto responders. For your next refrigerator purchase choose any product other than Samsung.

DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG APPLIANCES! Consumer Alert - Do Not Buy Samsung Kitchen Appliances. In 2017, we purchased a Samsung Refrigerator, Range, Microwave and Dishwasher. 3 years later, all but the range have required repair two or more times! Our dishwasher has been out service for nearly 8 weeks now. JCPenneys is gone, Asurion Warranty won’t replace it because it’s a service warranty only. A&E Factory Service kept us waiting all day, showed up at 6pm to tell us that the technician that was here two weeks ago was wrong; we need a different part and they can’t come back for 17 more days! Calling A&E’s “Customer Service” connects you to some foreign country and a rep that reads to you off a scripted cue card and suggests you should use the website for ‘better service’! May I repeat.... DON’T BUY SAMSUNG KITCHEN APPLIANCES!

Our refrigerator model number RF260BEAEWW and freezer stopped cooling on February 24. We called Samsung and a diagnostic repairman came to our home on February 27. It was determined that the compressor went out and someone else would need to come and replace the compressor. After a few follow up calls and being told they were waiting on the part the repairman came on March 14th. He replaced the compressor and the final test determined the unit was not holding pressure. The repairman called Samsung while at our home. The repairman told Samsung that the unit was not repairable. After the 30 minute call we were informed by the repairman that we would receive a replacement refrigerator. We were given an exchange number ** and to expect a call from Samsung in the next day or so. We did not hear anything from Samsung so we called on March 18. At that time we were told the exchange process takes 12 business days and we would just have to wait. We explained to the representative on March 18th how difficult it is to go without a refrigerator for 3 weeks especially with 3 children. It is very expensive to buy meals (dinner and breakfast) daily. Plus, we had already had to throw away the contents of the freezer and refrigerator. The week prior we spent over 300.00 on groceries (including meat and seafood). Which if we could find the receipt we would submit to Samsung for reimbursement. But the receipt was nowhere to be found. March 23rd we called to follow up with the exchange process. We were told that we needed to supply a bill of sale for the exchange process. This was the first time we were told this. April 11th we followed up on the bill of sale. We were told that since we purchased the unit at an appliance outlet store the unit was damaged and Samsung would not do anything for us. STAY AWAY FROM SAMSUNG REFRIGERATORS.

I bought a Samsung refrigerator from Lowes in 2010. In late 2012 I noticed a little rust at the bottom of the water/ice dispenser. I thought at first It was externally caused. When it became obvious that it the pan itself was rusting, I called Samsung Customer Service and explained the situation. After explaining the situation, the CSR left the line for a few minutes. When she returned she suggested I buy Bartenders Friend to clean up the mess. When I asked how I could prevent the rust from returning, she seemed confused, said she had solved my problem and hung up.I emailed Samsung CS with the complaint stating that a 30-month enamel job shouldnt fail and how could I prevent the rust from occurring again. I received a reply that read like the authors masters thesis that thoroughly explained the chemical action that occurs between water and iron. I went to Lowes in Palmdale, CA with my problem. The salesman was no help; the department manager told me that Samsung didnt make that model anymore and maybe that was why. And that he couldnt help me. Ask me if Ill buy anything from Samsung again. Purchased RF217ACPN Samsung French Door Refrigerator from Best Buy on July 2011. Nice looking model and would have been great if it lived up to its advertising and promises. Little over a year, then after warranty of course, the refrigerator was not working right. Water accumulated in and under crisper bins. Then eventually loud rotating noise which found out later was the cooling fan. For an energy efficient appliance, I now spend 24 hrs defrosting, packing food in coolers, (still lose some foods) every two months. The WORSE refrigerator ever. I tell anyone I see looking at them in a store and hopefully stop them from wasting money. A class action law suit was filed back in 2011, yet they continue to sell these faulty designed refrigerators ripping off American citizens... Why is this still happening? Samsung has the worse customer service so dont waste your time or phone minutes contacting them. I need a new refrigerator but cant afford it..Thank you Samsung for legally ripping me off. Never again!

RF267ABRS - Problems from the get-go. Ice in fridge under slide-out drawer, ice maker with loud periodic click, water on floor (and we have hardwood floors!), fridge and freezer not keeping safe temperatures. We replaced the seals with supposed Samsung seals at a cost of nearly $400. Did not fix the issue. Now causing marital issue coz I dont want a fride that doesnt keep foods at a safe temperature! If there is a class action suit, Ive not been notified. We bought this 7 or 8 years ago, has never worked right and still people with more recent purchases are having the same problems!!! Wow. Shame on Samsung.

This dishwasher has been extremely disappointing. We bought all Better Samsung appliances when we bought our home and the Waterwall stopped cycling a few months after we bought it. It took about a month to get someone there to fix it (under warranty). 18 months later its not under warranty and it has failed again. I think we paid around $1,100.00 new so the cost of ownership has been over $350.00 a year. We read horror stories but thought that it was more likely that people upset with their purchase were more likely to leave reviews and that they were probably skewed. They werent. Ill start reading reviews to make our replacement purchase. Lesson learned.

I had nothing but troubles since we bought the refrigerator Samsung side by side with outside doors to get to the door shelves. First two weeks it was beeping constantly and nobody at Samsung Help could not tell me JUST to disconnect and reboot. It took two month for to get a repair man and by then I had it fixed. Then the door shelves are made of such a LOW quality that they do NOT have any quality at all. Within the first six months 3 shelves were broken in pieces and when I complained they ONLY send me 1 shelf. You keep complaining to somebody from the other side of the world and they just keep opening new ticket complains without solving the problem. They send me one more shelf and as of today I only have two door shelves working because each one costs about $60 and I do not want waste any more money. The water and ice dispenser is also a big problem, it seems to have an attitude. It dispenses ice or water whenever it pleases him not the person getting it. It would not dispense and you HAVE to figure out if the temperature its at normal or you have to open and close the doors or you have to turn the knob at the ice dispenser to get anything dispensed to you. Do not BUY it is a piece of JUNK compare to my last refrigerator that lasted 15 years without any problems. If you Do be prepared to pay them at least $240 a year in Door Shelves replacements.

We purchased the microwave on 5/2016 from Best Buy. 7/2016 microwave filter began to pop out randomly once hitting me on my chest, then buttons were pressed on their own as if we had a ghost. Fan turns its self on, the light goes on by itself, a code came on (Samsung comp said disconnect and connect again - WHAT!!!). Geek Squad came and changed the board panel, filter panel, door. Called Samsung company, they sent a tech who changed the SAME thing. The company refused to replace the microwave. Once all was replaced the microwave worked for 1 mo and began to malfunction once more. Now the microwave freezes, we can not press any button on the door, the microwave turns off as if it was unplugged plus all the other things that were wrong with the microwave.I have asked to speak with the manager and all I ever get told is the microwave will be replaced if the SAMSUNG tech recommends it. Hello they work for Samsung it will not get recommended. Well the tech came today. Recommendations replace the door again. Really. That will be the 3rd time. The stove it takes a long time igniting. I was told not to cook with flour (I do not cook with flour). The fridge the ice dispenser it is very small you are lucky if you get 4 cups with ice. Icemaker sweats and drips water inside the fridge. This was the first time we purchased Samsung appliances, and it will be the last one. I should of bought Viking/Frigidaire appliances. DO NOT PURCHASE SAMSUNG APPLIANCE. They are the worst.

NewSamsung Dishwasher Model DW80F600UTS lots of different issues. From Day 1 hasnt worked properly. Steam vent under front of door wasnt shutting off, so water would leak out the front. HEAVY light started blinking, and pump wouldnt turn off, power wouldnt turn off, either. Had to turn off at breaker. Dried out the flood pan and sensor, and saw moisture on the water intake hose coupling, so tightened that. That helped for a week, then it went off again. Seems to be leaking out of tub, not hose. Luckily, still under warranty so service is coming in a few days.SERVICE: Parts take 10 days!! So the repair guy comes, figures out what is wrong, then has to order the part and come again. It can be 2 weeks before you can use your new dishwasher again! When I talk to the service company (that is not Samsung, but certified to do their repairs), they make it sound like they know exactly what the problem is before they come out - leading me to believe they had a lot of this problem!! Never will buy a Samsung appliance again! Wish I had come here first to read the complaints.

Samsung French Door Refrigerator RF263BEAESR/AA - Due to an older house I needed to get a smaller refrigerator. It was hard to find due to all the constraints, size, height, and how far the doors could open. I was excited to find the Samsung French Door Refrigerator, because it fit with all the space constraints my home required. It was a new model so there wasnt any reviews available. Unlike my previous Samsung French Door, a larger version, that I had 7 years ago, this one makes cloudy ice. I just found out from a Samsung repair tech that this model will not make clear ice due to the way it makes ice. Also, because of some restrictions lifted on companies making refrigerators most newer models make loud noises, according to the research I found on the internet. My model sounds like someone in there is trying to get out by throwing a large rock around. It happens every 6 to 8 hours. It can wake me up from a sound sleep. I thought it was the ice maker, but I have turned it off and it still makes it. Samsung basically has made all kinds of excuses, but they havent done anything about it. Other Pros: Ive only had it since Nov 2014, going on 8 months. It so far, keeps my food cold and my freezer seems to be working fine. It has plenty of space for me. Had I known about the cloudy ice issue I may have looked into buying another brand.

I had a terrible experience with Samsung. I ordered a Samsung Fridge and within a year and a half the compressor went out. Samsung at first wanted to fix the compressor, but since there were no techs near where I live, they decided to refund our money. It took an agonizing 2 months of trying to get them to give us our money. One customer service rep laughed at me when I asked what would happen if it took longer to get our refund before our new fridge and she laughed and said, “Mam, it’s not going to take that long.” That was only 1 week into the process. One representative gave me a fake # when I asked to talk to someone higher up. They even made me cut the cord of the fridge and take a picture of it and send it to them. I was without a fridge for 2 months and still no refund. They would tell me someone would be calling and no one would ever call. I called at least twice a week if not more and they would just give me the runaround. But would always say not to get rid of the fridge until we get the refund. We no longer could go any longer without a fridge so we went ahead and ordered a new one - Whirlpool this time. I got my delivery date, so I called Samsung to let them know that our new fridge was coming and they would be taking away our Samsung fridge so I needed to make sure that they had everything they needed before it went. Samsung told me NOT to get rid of it until I got the refund. I asked when will I get my refund? Every week, they would say, within 2-3 days and every week would pass and NO REFUND. Our new fridge came and I immediately called Samsung to see if I could send it with the delivery guy because he would take it away for free. They said no. So now we are stuck with our old fridge with nowhere to take it unless we pay $200 to dump it. Samsung did not care, they said it was not their responsibility. I will NEVER buy anything Samsung again! They have the worst customer service and products.

We bought new home and furnished with new Samsung kitchen appliances. Within the first four weeks, my wife start to notice tiny rust spots inside sheet metal tub of dishwasher. We called Lowes where we had purchased the appliances. The Lowes sales associate called Samsung dealer support customer service and they scheduled an in-home technician visit. The technician cancelled the appointment 2 hours before showing up and re-scheduled again. I took time off from work during week day for the technician visit. When technician showed up, he assessed that it is in fact rusting. He has seen parts corroded before but never this fast on the sheet metal. He said he can fix/repair things but with rust he cannot do anything. The unit needs to be exchanged. I asked him to take pictures for his documentation which he was not thinking off so he did. I waited a week but did not hear anything. So, I called and put on hold for half hour because Samsung customer service said they cannot locate any information on technician visit and they are now tracking him down. After half hour gone, I asked the agent to sort this internal between Samsung departments and get back to me. Another week gone by, no one followed up so I called again. This time was exact repeat of week before, put on hold again for half hour and still no information available from technicians visit. Like the week before, the agent asked me of the name of technician who visited our house. At this point, I was extremely frustrated and told the agent that this is something Samsung should know why customer has to call each week to sort out Samsung internal process. As a customer, I expect resolution of my problem not to help Samsung of their back office issues. I expect someone to take ownership of the issue, follow-up with whomever and get back. I ended called after half hour when agent could not locate the technician or any details of his visit. Later in the evening, I called again to see if the agent was able to find technician or find any information, the result was same. However, agent promised that someone call me next business day without me calling them back.I received a call from Samsung executive customer service that they now have the findings of the technician and indeed there dishwasher is getting rust. However, the cannot offer any exchange because the rust is cosmetic issue and they cannot offer any exchange. They cannot offer any other option and suggested to consult with the retailer. When I asked who is going to reimburse for installation cost of the dishwasher, I was told that Samsung will not reimburse. When I asked, who will reimburse for my time including time off from work for in-home technician visit and subsequent calls over three week dealing with this lemon? The answer was sorry we dont offer anything. I asked to speak to senior leadership; I was told there is no one that the agent can forward the call to.At this point, I have decided to work with Lowes to see if I can return all Samsung appliances worth over $5000 including front loading washer and dryer, large French door fridge and off course this defective dishwasher. I cannot trust the quality and workmanship of Samsung products. Period! What a shame, a company continues to make defective products. This is not the first time I have this experience, back in 2009 when I bought 55 high-end LCD TV, its LCD panel went out after first year and when they replaced the new LCD panel, six months later, it malfunctioned again resulting in swapping to a LED TV in working with their executive customer service.

This refrigerator has been nothing but a problem. After 3 years, we had to entirely replace the ice maker for over $200 in repairs (not covered by warranty). After 5 years, we had to repair the water dispenser. At exactly, 5 years and 4 months, the freezer died, 1 week later, the refrigerator died. It is out of warranty and Samsung does not provide any support. In our county, there is no longer a Samsung certified repair shop. No one will even touch it. Samsung finally referred us to A&E factory service, more than 40 miles away. They came out to do the diagnostic today (2 weeks after the freezer failed). The repairs for the broken evaporator are over $700. This was a $1,500 fridge purchased at Best Buy. Samsung has been very disappointing. They are not willing to cover anything or provide product support. Will not buy from them again.

Please do your own research before buying a new refrigerator. I thought I did. I purchase a Samsung French door fridge in November of 2016. Little did I know that all Samsung French door fridges have a design defect, - ice maker freezes over, stops making ice, leaks, and, sometimes, as in my case, freezes shut so the tray cannot be gotten out. Takes an hour with a hand held steamer to thaw it. Thousands upon thousand of unlucky people have been dealing with this for the last fifteen years. My experience with Samsung customer service has been terrible. This is not what one would expect from a consumer appliance manufacturer.

We recently purchased Samsung Dishwasher Model #DW80K5050 that seemed visually fine on delivery. When we attempted to install it a week later, there was internal damage not visible from the outside. Samsung sent a rep to confirm the DW had likely been dropped to cause multiple internal issues. When we shared this with Build.com, they said they had no responsibility since damage was not reported in their 24-48 hr window EVEN THOUGH DAMAGE WAS INTERNAL and COULD NOT BE DETECTED FROM THE OUTSIDE. And when we reached out to Samsung they said their warranty doesnt cover new appliances that had never operated (i.e. delivered broken). So we are stuck with a yet to be installed dishwasher for which we just ordered replacement parts at our expense. I would avoid buying from Build.com that was unwilling to correct this situation despite nearly $20,000 of appliance purchases from them the past year alone. And I would also avoid purchasing Samsung appliances based on their customer service, or lack thereof.

Two technicians told me not to have the glass replaced that it would only happen again as the seal was broken. Samsung will do nothing as it is cosmetic and now Home Depot Extended warranty will also do nothing because of same reason. If this is an ongoing problem, we should have been made aware of this before purchasing. Also should have been told this problem would not be covered under the extended warranty. Where do I start? We purchased this refrigerator (4 Door Model RF23J9011SR)
Where do I start? We purchased this refrigerator (4 Door Model RF23J9011SR) at the end of Dec. 2016. Within 7 months we had problems with the ice maker inside the refrigerator. No ice would dispense, all frozen up inside. Samsung replaced all of the ice maker parts except the cube box. Well it worked long enough to get past its warranty, then it failed again. The second time I could not even pull the ice maker drawer out. As it turns out the parts they replace were the old style original ones that were defective. He replaced all of the parts with the new Samsung updated parts, at a cost of 328 dollars to me. I paid then called Samsung. After almost an hour on the phone they agreed to give me a one time warranty extension. While the second tech was here I told him that the refrigerator seemed warm, and the thermometer I had in it said 48 degrees... Clearly not 34 like stated on the door display. He tried to tell me that my new refrigerator thermometer was not accurate (brand new, only days old) and that I had a tear in the door seal. I would call it a small slice. He said it wasn’t cooling because the tear (less than 3/8 of an inch) was letting warm air in. It needed a new door seal, Ok. I said, Replace it. Then he said he had to order it and come out in a couple days. Came out, put the new seal on the refrigerator, still was at 48-50 degrees. It wasn’t the problem. Called again for service. Tech came out, spent almost two hours here trying to figure out why the top refrigerator wasnt getting cold. Turned out the compressor and all of the Freon lines are bad, they all needed replacing. He informed me it was a 3 hour job and that another tech would be out in 2 days.I still have no upper refrigerator. The whole process has reached week three. I called Samsung and demanded a new refrigerator replacement...they said no (no surprise) and that I had to have the tech do the compressor and Freon line repairs. Because the parts had been ordered, the guy just left 10 mins. ago. Keep in mind that my refrigerator isn’t even two years old... Wow I sure am excited about its future and what I can expect. In closing...DONT EVER BUY ANY SAMSUNG REFRIGERATOR!! It’s like an Edsel. It looked good but wasn’t all that great of a car. What you read online is true, they are JUNK!!! Samsung customer service is a joke all yes and good and feel real sorry for you. They have heard it all before and could really care less once the great one warranty has expired. The same problem with the 1st unit happened again. So they replace it again, the 3rd unit delivered (July 2014). After 6 months of using the 3rd unit the same problem occurred again. Same procedure with the 1st, 2nd and 3rd unit was made. Then 4th unit with the same model delivered (February 2015). Last October 2015, there it goes again. The technician came, fixed it, after 3 days it broke again. They fixed it again. After 3 weeks it broke again. I really had enough with this unit. So disappointed...

After 11 months after buying a DW80F600 Series Dishwashers we had a leak under the door. Luckily we still had warranty. Two months after that we had flashing lights and it wouldnt finish washing. Of course the warranty ran out and got it fixed. Two days after that the same thing happened again. We had it fixed again and it was good for six months and different lights are flashing. We will never buy anything Samsung ever again. Its junk! Having problems with my Samsung Phone also. GARBAGE!

We bought this Samsung 4-door French refrigerator ($2200) in July of 2010, so weve had it only about 36 months. Today we noticed everything in the freezer was thawed, but thought maybe we somehow left the freezer drawer ajar. By 4 hours later there was water everywhere and the ice maker leaked into the fridge section. Now weve emptied it completely, trying to salvage some of the frozen meat but lost all other frozen stuff which had gone to melt stage. We now realize it hasnt been coming on at all, so something obviously happened. Hubby pulled it out and didnt notice anything, but after reading all these posts, I think were facing the same thing - which is that new appliances are unreliable poor Quality. My parents had their fridges for 37 years. No exaggerating. What is wrong with this picture?

Shipping company couldnt deliver, rescheduled 4 times. In the end they said.. they lost a fridge and dont know where it is and when is going to be delivered. Called Samsung - basically Samsung said: We dont care if you cancel order. I cancel my order and I will never buy Samsung again... not a fridge... not a tv... and wont recommend Samsung to any of my friend/Family. Buy something else, NOT SAMSUNG. Order # **

I bought a Samsung Refrigerator about less than a year ago from HHGREGG. About a month ago, the refrigerator became faulty. There was no cooling in the fridge, however the freezer was working fine. The milk and other perishable items were getting spoiled in the fridge. Immediately I contacted Samsung technical support, they made me reduce the fridge temperature, but that did not help in any way. Finally a ticket was generated and it was given to Dependable Services (Samsung contracts with third party to provide repair and maintenance service) to fix the issue. This is where my nightmare started. After great difficulty I was able to get hold of some customer service person in Dependable Service. Finally they gave me a service technician visit date that was about a week away. On the said date, they called me and said the spare parts did not arrive, so the visit was pushed to next week. After a week of finally waiting, again I got a call from the customer service team saying one of the spare parts was there and other was in someone elses truck. Then they postponed the visit for another week. Now again they called me and left a voice mail (I was not reachable). Immediately I called back when I saw the voice mail in the evening. I was told the ticket was cancelled due to no response (they call a single call no reply from customer is a no response for them). I had to call Samsung and had to get another ticket. After all this hassle, finally the technician arrived at home after more than 3 weeks of complaints, back and forth calling. The technician comes home and says he did not have spare parts (the cooling fan had to be replaced) to fix the fridge. I was shocked. They had postponed the repair for more than 3 weeks giving one reason or another saying they were getting parts from Samsung to repair, and here comes the technician without the parts. The whole thing has been a nightmare. I had to call Samsung customer service many times, and they ask me to talk to dependable service. They are giving me a run around. I regret buying a refrigerator from SAMSUNG, THEY HAVE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I am without refrigerator for more than a month now... I would never ever buy any Samsung product ever in my life. I learnt my lesson, will stay away from the name SAMSUNG.

I bought a Samsung refrigerator from Best Buy approximately 6 MONTHS AGO, which I paid a higher price than other brands. I was willing to pay a higher price for a better quality refrigerator. To my surprise and disgust, the Samsung refrigerator broke down. According to their tech, the compressor, which runs the whole thing, is KAPUT!!!! I had other brands before and not one gave me a problem for at least 10 years or more. I have the GREATEST REGRET OF BUYING SAMSUNG! I will never buy any of their products again!!!!!I have spoken to their repair staff and all they can say is Im sorry. I ask for the refrigerator to be replaced and they refused. I sent an email to the US subsidiary president, Andrew Choi, and her secretary answered to have it fixed. I sent an email to their Korean Headquarters to no avail. My experiences tell me that once the product breaks down, others will follow. Especially, it happens when the warranty is over! What are the rights a consumer has on this particular problem? Please advise.

Firstly, I wish I had read these Samsung stove reviews prior to my purchase. :( This stove got 4.5 stars on PC Richards site which is one of the reasons that I bought it. I purchased the Samsung NX58M6650W Gas Range in November of 2017. I purchased this stove solely for the price and way it looked as I am not a person that cooks a lot and barely do I use an oven. I was upgrading my kitchen and looking for a stainless steel stove to replace my old one. Its a very nice looking stove but obviously looks can be deceiving. After my 4th time using the oven, which was all day on Thanksgiving Day 2018, I noticed that the control panel was warped almost looking like it had melted. I called Samsung for repair and they gave me a courtesy extension my warranty (2 weeks out of warranty) and offered a free repair. In my eyes a barely used stove should not have any issues in just over 12 mos, but thats just me. I had my rinky Hotpoint Stove for 17 years and not ONE need for repair. Anyway the repairman came and fixed the stove. He replaced the old control panel which means removing around 20 screws un-wiring/detaching and re-wiring a new control panel. Also needs to be mentioned, the control panel on the stove is made of plastic! Now that can be a problem if your stove gets hot. Repair seemed successful but two days later, the timer isnt working. For reference, the timer is in the same place on the panel that warped after using the oven for several hours. Needless to say I am furious. Samsung insists on sending out another repairman, but I want this stove replaced (not with a Samsung if thats possible). If you read the reviews, you have no doubt that this stove is problematic in its design. I watched the repair, and with all the fine wiring on a plastic panel, how will there not be problems? Samsung has been giving me somewhat of a runaround and does not seem to stand behind their product. Im sure problems will continue to occur based on all of the reviews and research Ive done. I have been on the phone with them 5 times. I have another appointment for repair since they say that this is the best that they can do since I am now out of warranty. Im with the other reviewer that says Class Action. I will try to update this review after my next repair visit, but in the interim, this stove is sorely disappointing. Stay away from this stove.

My Samsung dishwasher model DMT300RFW failed six months out of warranty, but used less than 20 times (it was at a second home). Repair cost was just over 1/2 the purchase price.Failed part was the drain pump, DD31-00005A. Failure mode was that the impeller shaft O ring had expanded from the drain water, preventing the shaft from turning freely. (The housing O ring had also expanded.) The O rings were not made with an appropriate material. In summary, the failure of a 10-cent part killed the dishwasher.Next, an attempt was made to report these findings to Samsung through their 800 number. Though my message was taken, there appeared to be a stone wall in terms of getting anyone to do anything. If this happens again, and it likely will, I may buy space in the Wall Street Journal and see if they care. What did I expect, at least that someone would make sure that my findings got to the right people. I guess it would be naive to expect anything else.

Approx. 4 yrs ago purchased a Samsung French door fridge. Recently the mullion bar became inoperable. After reviewing possible remedies IT became obvious that a new mullion bar had to be purchased. After purchase was made at a cost of $117.74 I tore the replaced bar apart and discovered the culprit to be a spring in the lower part of the bar. This spring could be made for no more than 50 cents at any reasonably priced manufacturer. I assume that the bar is also made by the Samsung corporation so it would be to their financial benefit to develop this spring as cheaply made as it is, so that additional financial gain could be made by their sale of this bar. My advice to any, who are considering purchasing this refrigerator is BUYER BEWARE.

We purchased a Samsung side by side fridge/freezer with ice maker in 7/2011. It has been nothing but headaches! If the freezer is a little over 1/2 half, the air doesnt circular properly and then freezes up the back panel and eventually the fan. We have had a tech out here 3 times in 3 years. They have replaced the motherboard, air fan, and 3 ice makers!!! Now, normal companies would call this a LEMON but Samsung told me that its just a design flaw. Is that their way of job security for the tech department? If there are this many issues and complaints, something should be done. Oh and now, guess what is happening AGAIN? Yep, you guessed it, the back panel is freezing up once again and we have had it now for 3 1/2 years. NEVER NEVER will we buy a Samsung appliance of ANY kind again!!

I’m so unhappy with Samsung as I have looked them up on Youtube and blogs where there are so many complaints about the ice maker not just my model but numerous models. On February 21, 2012, I purchased a Samsung DMT300 Series from Sears. The machine never operated well. Dishes, especially glasses, were always dirty after the machine ran. The dishwasher broke down and would not operate. I called Samsung to have it repaired under warranty on Monday, October 29, 2012. According to their records, my dishwasher was over a year old. I told them I had the receipts and then faxed and emailed them the receipts as requested. Samsung outsources their repairs to local vendors. I was given the name and phone number of a local vendor along with a ticket number (**). The earliest appointment the repair shop could give me was for Monday, November 5th. I was told I would get a call in the morning to let me know what time the service person would be coming. No call came at all. I did call three times and was told someone will get back to me. It is now Tuesday morning and still no call has come. Bottom line, do not buy Samsung products. Their warranties are useless and their dishwashers are pieces of garbage.

I bought a Samsung french door refrigerator two months ago on 5-22-2015. I noticed yesterday that the SAMSUNG letters on the front of the refrigerator were beginning to peel off. I emailed a complaint and got a call from customer service today. They claim this is physical damage and not covered by the warranty. I explained to the representative that I have been using a 3M stainless steel appliance cleaner with a microfiber cloth and there had not been any abuse to cause this to happen. She transferred me to a more senior representative who made the same claim. This is ridiculous!!! Follow up; my frustrating experience with all of our Samsung appliances. Stove Model NE58F97. Fridge Model RF267. Washer WF 328 and Dryer DV 328. Stove has a previous review in Feb. The amount of issues with this stove warrants action by consumers. Doesnt cook! Burns, dries out, undercooks food and anything with fat under high heat will be sucked through the convection fan and turn into a smoking mess. Will not broil anything, try and broil a steak, youll be sorry. The only way you are going to bake a potato is to place it directly on the lower stove element and turn it once. Thats how bad the cooking is. This stove is all flash with zero engineering or consumer testing. The glass top ($); well seems everyone is having problems with the top. Too fragile period! I will be replacing my top after a 1 ounce salt shaker nicked the edge. Looked like an innocent looking edge chip but the first time the large burner was turned on it shattered the top. Design flaw or purpose built? You be the judge, looks suspect to me. Wonder how many glass tops were made? The shelving is horrible, we had an incident in previous review where the locking sliding shelf would lock into place randomly. Looked locked in but wasnt. Rest of shelving just falls to bottom with any weight. Really bad on lower half of stove. Dangerous! Burns! Damaged ovenware! Really! Burners are all over the place with heat regulation. Zero simmering capabilities, goes from no heat to blast furnace. Ruined many high quality stainless pans and Revere Ware to the point they are unusable (warped). Way too hot on high settings. Multi burner has multiple control issues. I do not bake cake goods but I can just imagine the problems with that because it can barely cook a pizza. Warming drawer is worthless (low setting too hot) and makes loud banging noises from heat expansion. Do not open this stove without turning your head away, the steam that shoots out of the front of this stove is dangerous. Cooling fan was dead quiet now has annoying high pitch. So it will not cook, its dangerous, will destroy your property and you will need a new top ($500) around every two years if you are lucky. This is my personal experience. Please if anyone has had a good one let us know! Fridge, well the fridge has performed fair but heres the list. Ice maker way under powered. Has been replaced once under warranty ($). Struggles to dispense or crush ice. Interior shelving horrible. Folding and sliding shelves have a mind of their own and continually cause items to fall out of fridge. Folding shelf was stiff so we tried to stay away from using it. Broke ($) at hinges 3rd time we used it. Front lowest edge of shelf is rounded without lip. Stuff slides off shelf onto floor. Fresh drawer broke the 2nd time ($) we cleaned it. Just hangs loose now. Freezer will occasionally go into steroid defrost mode and you will have an inch of frost on everything (normally a 16th of an inch). Washer does good job washing but screams horribly on any fill cycle. Sign they used cheap plastic on their water fill valves ($) and calcium buildup is slowly clogging it. Washer has the load leveling feature ($) which has gotten sloppier. Dryer does well but occasionally acts like the sensor ($) is going and will leave a damp load. I wont buy any of their products again. They got too big too fast and have turned into company that needs profits and have designed their appliances to be cash cows (that is what the dollar sign represents in this review) for their parts and repair business and affiliates. I purchased my stove through the internet from Goedekers in St. Louis, MO in 2014 and paid $1800. I will not bother with their customer service, they have to be overwhelmed and under corporate pressure to not honor their product from what I have read. Stay far away from their products and good luck finding anything of quality out there today. Our own fault we let this go on.

After 2 years, this stove broke during the self clean cycle (only 2nd time I ran self clean). I tried calling Samsung and they were no assistance. They gave me the name of several repair facilities none of which were still in business or willing to come to my town which by the way is not large but still has 60,000 people living in it. Samsung does not provide any service whatsoever once a product is out of warranty. I was put on hold for 40 minutes - tried talking to a supervisor who promised to call me back with a list of repair facilities and they never did. I spent almost $4000 on this range and after two years it has broken and I cannot get it serviced. I am building a new home and will never ever again by Samsung appliances. I could have lived with a quality issue but not with the absolute zero service and willing to help issue. I have heard that Samsung tries to make getting service so horrendous that people will just buy another unit rather than fixing it. To spend $4000 on a stove that only lasts 2 years is unacceptable!

My kitchen was in desperate need of a makeover so I decided to purchase all new products from Sears and selected Samsung. I so wish that I would have checked with Consumer Affairs first before purchasing (3) Samsung products in 2013 - all of which have had issues. I purchased a double door black refrigerator, a black microwave as well as a black gas range. My refrigerator from day one has had issues with the ice maker not making ice and the refrigerator temperature not working properly. The worst product of all was the microwave oven that caught fire while I granddaughter was cooking a hotdog on a paper plate. The plate caught on fire. There were sparks and flames literally shooting from the microwave. I didnt purchase the extended warranty on the microwave because my experience with good microwaves is that they simply stop working after about 6-7 years. They dont catch on fire! I paid $329 for the microwave and Samsung wanted to charge me $325 for the repairs and continue to give me the run around. The matter is still not resolved. So if you are reading this review... save yourself the trouble. Please do not purchase any Samsung product!

Weve owned a number of Samsung products from washer/dryer units to dishwashers and microwaves. Our family has been pleased with the quality of those products. The refrigerators are another story altogether. About 6 months after getting our stainless Samsung fridge, the front of both doors began rusting. This seemed absurd and I called Samsung expecting some kind of answer and/or assistance in dealing with this. Wrong! Not only did their customer service team insist that this was purely a cosmetic problem so not covered under any kind of product warranty, but when I escalated this to a specialty department, I was told that nothing would/could be done, the problem was mine, and basically too bad. A fridge should not rust after a few years let alone a few months. This was shocking. Im now totally turned off the Samsung brand and will no longer be purchasing their products. When I said this to the service team, their response was oh well. Nice.

From owning a Samsung TV we felt we could trust the brand by buying a dishwasher from the company. How wrong can one be. It seems they have no idea how a simple dishwasher works. Darn thing runs for over 2 hours and the dishes dont come out very clean. We have to prewash them which is a real bummer. UNCLEAN stuff collects under the door frame at the bottom of the washer which needs to be wiped off. It was black like mold. This is a box that is supposed to clean and stay clean and it isnt. Id expect the company recall these units as they are not healthy. We paid a lot of money for this poorly designed machine and I am thinking about taking it back to Best buy whom I bought it from. I will likely never purchase Samsung home appliances as they have been unreliable, service technicians do not recommend, and my dealings with the manufacturer have been severely delayed, unresponsive, and unhelpful. I purchased my home 3 years ago in which the investor renovated inclusive of purchasing new home appliances. In 2020 my fridge went out, within the warranty timeframe. For 4 weeks, Samsung could not get a tech to come and service my refrigerator so they decided to provide me with a refund. I was never verbally informed by the manager to keep my fridge. I sent in my documentation and was told after my fridge was hauled away that I was supposed to keep the fridge. Customer support has been horrible, for months Ive tried resolving this issue. Samsung is not honoring the refund and I am out a grand as I replaced the appliance out of my personal funds. Ill never buy Samsung and will definitely tell my networks and other real estate constituents to stay away from these home appliances.

Since purchasing my refrigerator, weve had to replace the shelving on both doors a total of 10 times at a cost of $41.00 per shelf. The plastic around the interior shelf and drawer systems has also broken. I researched the product and found the shelving was determined to be defective. I contacted Samsung to see if they provided alternative replacement shelving to replace the defective shelving. First off I attempted to chat with a Samsung representative, they could not understand English and I was asked to to simplify my words. I then called Samsung and was told they did not have an alternative replacement, they would not provide replacement shelving, they would not discount the cost of the replacement shelving, and basically notify me there was nothing they could or would do. I am a long time Samsung customer, and I will never purchase another Samsung phone, computer, television, or appliance from this corporation. The original cost of this refrigerator was $1,300 and I was told it had it should last an estimated 10 years, which is a joke. The problems started when 3 months after it was purchased. I work with manufacturers of appliances on a daily basis as a regional manager in the multi-family housing industry and have never had a company care less than the Samsung customer service agent I spoke with. To not even offer the known defective replacements parts at a discount is unheard of.

Come to find out it was frozen up. A temp control issue. After that got fixed a few months later the ice maker stopped working, now last but most definitely not least I found out today that the compressor is bad and I paid extra money for it good product and boy was I mistaken. DONT THROW AWAY YOUR MONEY! If you want to throw money away buy one of these terrible pieces of junk. I am sorely dissatisfied with the product and their willingness to fix the problems. Read some reviews from others and youll see. Buy about any other brand and youd be better off than me.

My dad, my brother, my father-in-law, and my brother-in-law told me not to
My dad, my brother, my father-in-law, and my brother-in-law told me not to go with Samsung, but I didnt listen. Now, Im paying the price. In less than 8mo Ive had 5 technician visits to attempt to fix my dishwasher. After 5 visits I finally got frustrated, and decided to call samsung to see if they would replace my dishwasher since its obviously defective. In short, their answer was no! First time the dishwasher broke was about 4mo after I purchased it. It would stop mid cycle with an error code which meant that it got too hot. That took 2 visits and as many weeks to repair. At the 7mo mark (July 1st), it stopped washing the dishes in the bottom rack properly. I contacted Samsung July 3rd. It’s July 24th and the dishwasher is still not repaired. Technician came out and said that he had to replace two parts, the bottom spray rail and the control panel. He had to order them. That was visit #3. Visit #4 was when he came to replace the parts. After a couple of hours of work the dishwasher was still not repaired. He said that there was another part broken, the motor that moves the rail. He’s suppose to come back Wednesday, July 29th. In the past 8mo, according to my count, 4 different parts have broken on Samsung’s “top of the line” dishwasher. I hope my review keeps someone from making the same mistake I made. moral of the story: listen to advice...do not buy samsung appliances. Theyre inferior quality. They look nice on the outside, but theyre garbage on the inside.

Samsung microwave SMH9187 - As others describe, the microwave started to beep and the -SE- error code appears. This signifies a display panel issue. Some have had success disconnecting power source for ~15 seconds. Others had success by simultaneously holding the stop/clear and enter/start buttons for 20 seconds. Someone else recommended disconnecting the display panel. This is easy. It is easy to remove the plugs and on my model, only the two white and blue plugs at the bottom could be incorrectly swapped but the blue plug connection has the word blue clearly shown. I had disassembled and am trying to use fans to remove moisture. This malfunction occurred after a nearly two inch rainstorm, so there might be some moisture causing the failure. Samsung said they would extend the parts warranty even though I am outside the 1 year warranty, so I would need to pay for a serviceman. If it is just the display panel and if I can get the part for no cost, this is an easy install.

I purchased a Samsung RF323TEDBSA three door refrigerator February 2013 and have had terrible issues with both ice makers and front door water dispenser and overall think the stainless finish is impossible to clean. The front door water dispenser always drips down the front of the refrigerator requiring constant cleaning and absolutely nothing cleans this poor quality of stainless. I have tried everything! The bottom freezer is not working at all and will not reset. The top freezer has to be defrosted monthly with a hairdryer and reset, to get any ice. Even after those bizarre behaviors, the ice is always wet, very slow to make and drop and always mixes at least 5 or so tablespoons of water in with the ice (and again drips down the front of the refrigerator). I actually bought two of the same refrigerators for two different homes and absolutely think both are just junk. What a joke... As I thought I was buying a higher end appliance! Just another comment, on the Samsung microwave I bought at the same time... Junk. I had to fixed the cracked plastic on the door hinge myself with a You Tube video and rubber band, just so the door would close so the appliance would work... After two years of use (mostly reheating food). I caution all appliance buyers to stay away from Samsung appliances, regardless of the model. Also, getting service without paying an arm and a leg is impossible.

We purchased a Samsung RF G298HD in 2011, which has run quite well. We have not had an issue with either ice maker. The large drawer needed to be replaced under warranty due to not opening easily. Our issue with this unit is all the plastic trim work is either cracking or just falling off. With a purchase price of over $2300, I would expect better quality. The end caps to the handles are plastic and fall off regularly. One on the shelves in the side door is cracking. I would expect more out of a company for the price that we paid for this inferior product.

Purchased Samsung Oven (flex), Washer, Dryer, and Dishwasher. 11/24/2017. Washer completely died last March - unable to fix, wiring harness issue. This week Oven has taken on a life of its own - no matter what you push (including warming drawer) the broiler comes on. You’ll get a C21 overheat warning and door locks. Customer Service gave me the number of a phone repair company to call for repairs. I can promise you I will never purchase anything in future with Samsung on it - absolutely no quality.
