Worst stove range, and worse part is that Samsung wont do anything, the grills are made out of cheap materials and Samsung knows but they try and make you believe that you dont know how to clean them, plus the grease bakes on the grill and wont clean.

I own numerous Samsung appliances - TVs, Washer, Dryer, and Stove. I also owned (and just removed) a malfunctioning Samsung Over the Range Microwave. I purchased it, knowing it had reliability issues, but it matched my stove and was the right price - so I gave it a shot. Let me first of all state that it made some funny buzzing noises that I didnt like. The keypad never worked great, either, but after about 5 years it may be, it certain buttons became harder to push, and eventually some buttons (and then almost all buttons) stopped working, entirely.Long story short, given another Samsung should have a similarly mounting system, I took a shot and attempted to order another Samsung (yes I know). Well, get this, I order it from Lowes and after multiple bad delivery dates from the Samsung distributor, I ended up having to cancel my order. Yes, even Samsungs own delivery of their microwaves turned out to be a nightmare. That said, I gave up and chose a Whirlpool that looks great, has great review, has a blue readout that match my Samsung stoves blue readout (that was a big deal, btw), and it has good reliability ratings according to Consumer Reports. All in all - Id say the moral of the story here, is to just avoid Samsung microwaves.

Water leak under drawers, water frozen, needed new part for that. Water freezing again - needed another new part. Needed longer part to help prevent leak. Needed temperature control. Now knocking when ice tries to dump. Sounds like the gears are frozen and/or teeth banging when it tries to dump. Thankfully I bought a warranty (which I never do as a rule). It runs out in a couple of months - fridge is about 4 years old now. Calling yet again for a repairman to come out. Bet when the new part is put on the compressor will go - after the warranty expires.

Also, Controls are Digital, to be honest they work great but I have never touched them. Hope it is the last fridge I ever buy. That was my criteria for choosing this one.

24.5 cu ft side by side refrigerator in black stainless steel purchased at Home Depot on 02/22/2017 at FULL PRICE 997.20 plus tax. Within 7 days it stopped working and I lost all of my food. I called Home Depot and they REFUSED to assist in any way. I called the contracted Samsung repair company and 12 days later they came to repair it. They did not have the necessary part and had to return another week later... only to not have the Freon to complete the repair. Here I am 8 months later with a broken refrigerator. It is not even a year since purchasing!

DONT BUY THIS PRODUCT. Spent almost $1200 in June 2014. Washer would pop open during sanitize cycle within 1 month after purchase. Has undergone two official Samsung repairs and continues to break. Last time repair was completed and product broke within 24 hours. I had purchased additional warranty and was repeatedly refused when I asked for the product to be replaced. I bought a different dishwasher tonight NOT A SAMSUNG less than 5 months after purchase.

I have had the steel fridge for 6 years and 5 years of problems. I went to get a repair to the fridge as a sound was coming out of the fridge. The fridge section was warming, so we threw the contents out etc. The repairman said that dont waste your money leave the appliance off for 24 hours and all will be good until the next time and do it again. The crisper also freezes the vegetables all the time. This has been going on for 5 years. I am looking for another appliance now as we have had enough, now the off on situation does not work like that. From other complaints it seems that they have not learnt their lesson.

We purchased a new Samsung French Door with ice maker less than 3 years ago. It was not cheap! The freezer doesn’t freeze anymore and the fridge is dying now too. We had a repairman in and he said it would cost at least 1000.00 to fix and then we still have a crappy fridge. Reviews were good at the time of purchase but now that everyone has had them for at least a year, the reviews are showing Samsung’s true colours! The ice was never really hard ice either. Good looking fridge and that’s about it!

I bought a brand new condo with brand new appliances in April 2013. My Samsung freezer broke down twice within the first six months. Samsung sent Totem Appliance to repair problem. A couple of weeks after the one year warranty expired, the same problem occurred. Now Samsung is refusing to fix the problem. I am shocked to know that Samsung is refusing to deal with this recurring breakdown in the freezer. The food thaws completely and then freezes again. I expect Samsung to stand behind their product. It is expensive to replace a refrigerator. It is only one year old. Model# RF197ACRS, Serial #y4d24adc500767b.

My 86 year old mother purchased her french door refrigerator freezer a couple years ago. About 3 months ago the ice maker and water dispenser quit working. Then in Christmas day her refrigerator freezer quit working. We called the extended warranty company. They had a man come out January 6th (12 days after the unit went out) to assess. He ordered the needed part that day. The part didnt come in until January 15th. Needless to say, it still hasnt been repaired... the repairman is scheduled to come on January 20th for repair. They did not offer to rent her a refrigerator freezer during this time. She is on medication that must stay refrigerated. This is unacceptable customer service. We will see what transpires on Wednesday.

I am very unhappy with this Samsung Oven No#:(0D1NFDAH900088B), that I purchased in November of 2016, at Best Buy. I do homemade cakes for family and friends, each one I try to bake in this oven falls flat. It has been tested by Best Buys technicians, and I still have the same problem. I have to go to my sisters house, because I cant bake a cake in my own oven. Not one cake that I tried to bake has risen properly in this oven. The oven is peeling and rusting on the inside and there is stains on the glass doors that will not come out. I WILL NEVER BUY A SAMSUNG APPLIANCE AGAIN!!! UNHAPPY CUSTOMER IN DALLAS.

I purchased the Samsung refrigerator from Sears 1/5/2012. It was a very costly purchase - $2500.00. Shortly after I had it, the ice maker didnt freeze/chill well. That issue was addressed. Then the ice maker didnt give an adequate supply of ice. Apparently, the computer screen/mechanics that controls that was replaced by Samsung. The repairman stated it would need replacing again because the set was all wrong. The ice is not making ice again. It was replaced April 27, 2013.The make-up of the dispensing controls appears to be set up for failure from the beginning. The ice and water are sort of piggybacked to each other and something within this or the computerized screen will not allow them both to work. I have contacted Samsung and they have not attempted to reach out to me to resolve this problem with their product.

I purchased a Samsung Refrigerator 2.5 years ago. I didnt have terrible problems with it until now. However, the freezer & ice making were never totally acceptable. Now, the fan is making a very loud noise every time the fan comes on. The repairmen Ive spoken to universally say that Im lucky that the refrigerator has lasted this long. One said, he wouldnt take a free Samsung if it were offered to him. In order for him to repair the fan, I have to empty and turn off my unit for at least 36 hours otherwise he would be unable to remove the shroud around the fan. He knew exactly what was wrong with my unit as soon as I told him about the whirring fan. Needless to say, I am telling everyone I know NOT to buy a Samsung refrigerator, or any other type of appliance.

Samsung side by side refrigerator - At about 18 months, we started getting a noise in the freezer side hitting something. It would stop when we opened the door. Then we discovered water on the floor. Water had built up under the crisper so much it had nowhere else to go. The freezer would de-thaw. The refrigerator side would not stay cold. At that point we decided to call a repairperson. Then it got to a point where we decided to bite the bullet and replace the piece of garbage that we paid $1500.00. Thank God for Sears. They offered us an extended warranty even though we did not purchase the fridge from them. Since purchasing the warranty, weve had a repairperson in our home 4 times. Sears will be sorry they offered the warranty to us. We thought we were finally all set. We finally had it fixed. Guess what? Our nightmare is not over. We discovered today we have to have a repairperson come again! So again we are considering getting rid of the darn thing. We are so disgusted. Why didnt we stick with Whirlpool?

I ordered the part... waited a week... and it didnt fix it (& of course this part isnt covered so Im out the $150). Then I called them back and was told it was a relay switch. Another $50 & another week waiting on parts... and guess what?!?! It comes and didnt fix it! It has to be the compressor and Im told I will have to wait ANOTHER week for someone to come out to fix it. This is accurate and fair. Here it goes. I purchased this refrigerator in 2014 from the Home Depot. I also purchased the 5 yr extended warranty (just in case). It all began with them delivering the wrong unit and it also had a hole in the back from a forklift. The delivery company left it in my driveway and drove off and in the process, ran into and wrecked my neighbors picket fence and would not share insurance information for replacement. Yes. HD sent two young men to pick up the fridge without a lift on the back so all of us had to heft this into a high bed truck to remove it. Ended up renting a truck and picking up and installing the new one ourselves. So I have had this refrigerator for 10 months and it stopped cooling in the fridge and the freezer. I want to add that the vegetable storage units do not keep the vegetables for long at all. They go bad after a couple of days. Back to the technicians, 3, yes 3 hours on the computer chat with a (3) tech(s) from Samsung to reset the OFF reading on the digital display. After 3 hours of attempting to reset and do all the bells and whistles to reset, the tech(s) then tell me that the panel is bad and needs a technician to go to the home location and repair it. They said to call Samsung to create a ticket. Ok, also called Asurion who has the warranty. They said they would create a ticket and send me a food loss form. Sent food loss form and then Im told that a reimbursement will not be issued until after the repair? I then call Samsung who tells me that there should be a repair person by Wednesday or Thursday (it is Saturday) and they would create a ticket. Then I called the Home Depot who tells me that if the issue was not solved by Wednesday or Thursday they would send me a check for the fridge or a new one? WTH? Its now Thursday (6 days after fridge quits) and no one knows about the problem or any ticket issued. I snapped. We then start all over. I am then told that it is a simple fix and I would have to pay for the repair? NO, NO, NO. I am then sent to the secondary customer person who then creates ANOTHER repair ticket and tell me that the repair person will call me in about 48 hours or so and cannot even conceivably come until next Tuesday or Wednesday. No we are into 11 days of this issue. So, this Samsung refrigerator has NO repair people in this area and yet they are continuously sold. Now what? I paid over $2,200 (on sale) for this absolute piece of mechanical scrap with the worst customer service ever. NEVER, and I mean NEVER purchase this refrigerator or any Samsung refrigerator, NEVER. Repeat that to yourself.

A small plastic bracket that supports the upper ice maker in my french door
A small plastic bracket that supports the upper ice maker in my french door refrigerator (RF 323TEDBSR) broke. I have spent more than two months with Samsungs official parts department, J & J International, Inc. trying to obtain the part. Initially they told me that the part I needed was the assembly case and auger motor. I couldnt believe it but they swore it was an integrated part. I ordered it to the tune of $175. When it arrived I took it out and it was immediately clear that it was the wrong part. So I called and received a Return Authorization number. I was told that I would receive a shipping label by email. After a week, I called again and was told that it hadnt come to me because they only make these labels up on Wednesdays! I was instructed to wait a few more days. I did, no label. I called again and was told that they had misspelled my email address and would send it again within the hour. I waited two days and contacted on-line customer service. They also told me that my email was misspelled (what, again?) that they had spelled office with two Is instead of two fs. Customer service told me that they had alerted the proper person to the problem. When I asked for that persons information, I was told that it doesnt speak to the public. Nice!Oh, the reason they authorized the return is that the bracket, which is held in place by three small screws is a non-serviceable part because it was installed before the case was foamed in for insulation. They might as well have told me that there was no such part in my refrigerator. They think that they can give you an stupid excuse. Actually, it is a piece of plastic, the size of my hand, that weighs about two ounces. Worth two dollars at most but Id gladly pay $20 because, without it, I have no upper ice maker. I have been in touch with Samsungs Executive Offices to no avail. A company that doesnt support its own products should be forced out of business. I bought this refrigerator from Lowes. I think they should consider the effect on their customers by continuing to advertise and sell this garbage. No more for me.

Our dishwasher didnt clean very well, we often had to redo dishes. At about 11 months after we bought it, it stopped working altogether. It was still under warranty, but we had also purchased an extended warranty. We called Samsung, they referred us to an authorized repair shop. We contacted them, a guy came out and said it was a broken drain motor. He said its a common problem in Samsung dishwashers. He said hed order the part and let us know when it comes in. He expected it to take 1-2 weeks. After 2 weeks without hearing from him, we contacted his shop. They said the parts had not arrived, well call you when they do. Another 2 weeks go by and we havent heard from them so we called them again and asked why its been a month already and we still have no dishwasher. We were told the technician would call us back. After another week, we had not heard from the technician so we contacted Samsung. Samsung said theyd check into it and call us back but after 2 more weeks, we hadnt heard from them. We then contacted Samsung via online complaint and were told there was never a ticket generated. We did a live chat, gave them the info we had, whom we had talked to about the parts etc. They had no record of it. I have a 3-page transcript of the conversation. We sent another copy of our purchase agreement (we had done this the first time) and heard from them 2 days later. They told us we were out of warranty and had to talk with the extended warranty people. This is after we had reported the problem while we were still under warranty (When we called the first time, they (Samsung) looked it up, told us we were still under warranty and thats when they gave us the info on the authorized technician shop to contact). They told us we have to contact the extended warranty company, which we did. They submitted for payment from Samsung so we could get the drain motor, and the drain hose. Samsung refused to pay for the drain hose part or labor. They said theyd pay for the motor but not the hose. They told us that we have to pay for and install the hose ourselves. They consider the hose a consumer installed part. This is a built in, under counter dishwasher. We tried to explain that it makes no sense since the drain hose is connected to the drain motor. If the hose does not drain properly, it could be the cause of the motor failure. Besides that, if we mess with putting the hose on and the motor fails again, they could come back at us to say we didnt install the hose correctly, therefore another fix of the motor wouldnt be covered under the warranty. We are quite frustrated at this point and dont know where to turn or what to do next.

We bought a Samsung SMH9187 in April 2011. It started to give intermittent (1/month) SE error and beeping around November 2011. We did not call for repair as the microwave still worked. The microwave completely stopped working in May 2012. We called Samsung to inquire about the error and learn whether there was any chance the warranty would cover it, since it began months before the warranty expired. They attempted to argue that the warranty was from date of manufacture (and thus ended in November 2011, thankful I had my receipt with date of purchase). We were informed that Samsung would pay for the replacement part but not the cost of installing it. Their authorized repair company would call us in 48 hours. We didnt hear anything from them for 5 days. We called Samsung and asked if we could have the part sent directly to us, no, this is against their policy. The authorized service company indicated a cost of $145 to replace the part. However, they cant do anything until Samsung Service includes more information in their service request to the authorized dealer.I contacted Samsung again and asked them to provide me with the part number that needs to be replaced. They gave me the phone number of their authorized parts dealer and told me that this dealer can provide me with the part number. The authorized parts dealer told me that they cant provide me with the part number over the phone. I need to go to their website (samsungparts.com) and look up my model # and use keyword control panel. Im told that the part I need costs $78.98 (she can tell me the price but not the part number?!)I still dont know the part number that Samsung was going to provide me for free, but the website has two parts called control panel for my model of microwave, one of which is $78.98. Luckily, the website does include the part numbers. I checked Sears Parts Direct and found the same part for $40.99. I ordered it, paid $11 shipping, and Im now hoping that the replacement process is relatively simple.I understand that things break, but, after my experience and seeing all the Samsung SE stories on the internet, Samsung products and service are terrible! Im beginning to think that Samsung is purposely making it difficult to learn about the meanings of the error codes and how to repair them, so that you use their service company or buy parts from their overpriced supplier.

My extended family has 3 Samsung fridges - 2x RL67 and one RL62. After approximately 16 months, two of them developed noise. The noise stopped each time the fridge door was opened. The problem was with the coil in the cooler - it had iced over. I called a technician for our fridge (RL62), and he repaired the problem. He offered me insurance for three years at a cost of $360. I refused, then he offered me insurance for one year for $200 (the cost of the repair). After Googling the type of fridge problem, I discovered that there is a serious problem with Samsung fridges. I will likely never purchase Samsung home appliances as they have been unreliable, service technicians do not recommend, and my dealings with the manufacturer have been severely delayed, unresponsive, and unhelpful. I purchased my home 3 years ago in which the investor renovated inclusive of purchasing new home appliances. In 2020 my fridge went out, within the warranty timeframe. For 4 weeks, Samsung could not get a tech to come and service my refrigerator so they decided to provide me with a refund. I was never verbally informed by the manager to keep my fridge. I sent in my documentation and was told after my fridge was hauled away that I was supposed to keep the fridge. Customer support has been horrible, for months Ive tried resolving this issue. Samsung is not honoring the refund and I am out a grand as I replaced the appliance out of my personal funds. Ill never buy Samsung and will definitely tell my networks and other real estate constituents to stay away from these home appliances.

We purchased a set of Samsung appliances at Best Buy as part of a kitchen suite. The dishwasher that came with it (400 series) was absolute garbage. It would not clean the dishes and was displaying error codes. The dishes were more dirty coming out than going in. After a LOT of arguing, and technicians coming out, Samsung agreed to refund us for the dishwasher. We went back to Best Buy and bought the supposedly new and improved version DW80F800UWS with storm wash. It seemed better, but now a few months later were having the same issues again. Now its saying theres a 5E error which is a kinked drain hose. Checked all the hoses and nothing kinked. Technician came out and said machine is fine...then whats the error code for?? I would also be interested in a class action lawsuit as this has been well over a year of going back and forth with Samsung to get a dishwasher that actually washes dishes! Better off washing dishes by hand. Particles stuck to dishes and dirty water sitting on the top of the mugs and bowls. Technician also informed us that the garbage disposal is made of plastic and frequently breaks. My 20 year old Kenmore worked 20 times better than this technologically advanced pile of garbage. Do not buy a samsung dishwasher unless you want a headache to deal with. Their customer service is horrible, theyre rude and claim theyve never heard of any of these issues.

I purchased your Samsung refrigerator model no: RSG257AARS/XAA, back in Dec
I purchased your Samsung refrigerator model no: RSG257AARS/XAA, back in Dec. 2013 when I bought my first home. While I am not customarily someone who uses ice in my drinks, there are certain beverages wherein I do use ice, such as with a soda or a cocktail. But for water and or juices, I do not require ice and as I rarely drink a soda or have a cocktail, I cant say the ice maker on my unit has had much use considering I am a one person household. This little to no use of the ice maker is potentially why this problem with the ice maker/dispenser did not appear until July 2014. I first noticed this problem when I discovered a large white shaving of plastic floating in a glass of Coca Cola. It was the size of a coconut shaving and so I removed this remnant and secured it into a plastic zip lock bag. Obviously, I disposed of the drink.I then examined the ice maker machine and mechanism, removed the ice bucket etc. and discovered there were dozens upon dozens of plastic shavings sitting in the cavity of freezer below the ice bucket. Upon further examination I discovered areas on the left and right sides of the plastic housing wherein it was obvious the rotary blades (auger couplers) had literally shredded into the plastic housing and it was quite clear from the magnitude of the scratches, shavings and debris that this was a serious problem.I first received service to repair this problem in July 2014. However, the repair took nearly 4 weeks to conclude, two home visits, shipment of parts, and I had no ice available to me in that time. Moreover, I greatly needed ice to medically treat an injury. Thus, the repair was more than an inconvenience. While the repair included some new parts and a new ice bucket, after the repair, I was hesitant and nervous to use the ice cubes for drinking and would look in each glass of ice. Then just a few days ago (20 Oct 2014), I found a SHARP solid chunk of white plastic floating in my Coca Cola. Again, I removed it and secure it in a zip lock bag for evidence. Upon examination of the unit, I now find that the plastic housing under the ice bucket is again being impacted and hit, only this time the scratches and scrapings are now at the front of the housing rather than on the sides. To make matters worse, on the evening of Oct 21st, I observed small white tiny powder like particles, sitting on the outside stainless steel dispenser tray, which indicates I have been ingesting and drinking micro particles of plastic. I have obtained a small sample of this particle by pressing my finger down onto it and then scraping this fine particle off my finger into a zip lock bag, but it is so small and fine that one could literally not pick it up any other way. It would be like trying to collect a single grain or flake of salt.As of late, I have been enjoying one soda a day, in place of eating a desert, and have been having more iced drinks than usual. Again, this draws me to the conclusion that if only this ice maker and dispenser had had normal American household use, this problem would have most likely occurred immediately. At this stage, my main concern is my HEALTH and how my body has been affected by ingesting micro fine particles of plastic used to make an appliance. To be honest, I am more than upset by the gravity of the situation and I find your customer service to be sub-par. In my opinion, this unit is DEFECTIVE IN DESIGN. Any refrigerator that starts dispensing plastic for a HUMAN TO EAT AND INGEST SHOULD BE DEALT WITH IN AN APPROPRIATE MANNER, and does not even fall within the scope of an ordinary repair.I can no longer trust this appliance to provide me ice! In addition, I will never again use it for drinking ice. NO WAY! NEVER! No matter how you repair it or pretend you did, it is obvious that the METAL BLADES are able to make contact with all edges of the plastic housing and therefore will ALWAYS HAVE THE POTENTIAL to feed me plastic.Next time I see my doctor I will consult with him on this matter. In the meantime, feel free to send me the chemical composition with which this plastic material is made of and I will give that to my doctor. Alternatively, we can send samples to a lab and then I will bill and or sue Samsung. I am outraged at this situation! Period! The fact that you are again going to send me a service repairperson who has NO experience with this SPECIFIC problem is ridiculous. Moreover, two Samsung service repair technicians told me they had never heard of this problem. So all you are doing is putting a Band-Aid on this situation, waiting for the manufacturer warranty to run out so that you will not have to contend with it. So yes, I am outraged. I will never again buy Samsung. In closing, I am attaching photos from last July showing evidence of the plastic shavings and impact to the housing. The current plastic particles are to small to photograph and while this is the same problem, the particles in fact are completely different now in shape and size. In fact the smaller particles and this current situation is way worse because I cannot VISIBLY see the micro-particles in a drink, making this a blatant health hazard. Please review the photos carefully! I would like this case to be escalated and dealt with by your upper management.

I bought the French Door Fridge 18 months ago. I love the look. I love the storage space. Hate the knocking although that has improved a great deal after six months, and after they suggested I switch the Ice button to off - since I dont use it. It still Pops, Snapples and Cracks a bit but that is probably normal for most refrigerators. My main beef is the crisper drawers. Rather than be just one piece, the front of the crisper comes off to enable cleaning in the crack where the pieces join. (If it was only one piece, there would be no cracks to accumulate food bits.) Why they decided to build a crisper that needs to be disassembled and reassembled I cant fathom. Anyway, one needs a screwdriver to pry open the thin plastic latches that keep it together. You guessed it! I broke one side of one of the latches and now I need to use bother hands when I pull it out to make sure I dont break the hinge on the other side. Normally, I would just buy a new drawer. Samsung uses independent companies to sell their parts. The price? $120 CDN!!! I thanked them and went out and bought plastic Glue. And as I write this, I think I will fill the crack with plastic glue too. I wished this had happened two weeks ago before I bought a Samsung Range and Dishwasher.

I have a Samsung oven Model ne9k3310ss with so called self cleaning steam option. It Sucks. I am 64 years old havent had to scrub an oven with SOS pads for years. Cooked a turkey. Will not come clean. Purchased this stove Sept 2016 from Lowes. It was 2 days before my daughters wedding and my previous ovens element burnt up. So no reviews were checked before we bought this one. Lowes sales rep told us good reviews it was in stock could be delivered the next day. Perfect. Used it for the wedding, except for the oven.Stove really wasnt used for the first 30 days so was past the customer satisfaction period. Oven would not hold temp, tech was here 3 times, replaced parts. Wanted so bad to just return it but no. I hate this stove and I have had many stoves over the years. The glass top is almost impossible to keep clean. Bought the daily cleaner, waste of money, need to use the heavy duty cleaner to clean it. Would not recommend this stove. I will be getting rid of it.

I highly recommend this tv! The picture Quality is out of this world! The sound is exceptional before even using a sound bar. We now prefer to watch everything on this tv then going to the cinemas as we feel we get a better experience at home with this tv and the Samsung Qn90B sound bar. Our only regret was not getting the 85”!! Though still satisfied with the 75”. After this, it will be hard to settle for anything less. You won’t regret purchasing this product. It brings old and new to life. You will feel like you are there in person. Detail and colour quality will blow you away! A good investment! Enjoy! P.s your friends and family, once they see the quality, they too will want one.

I explained the problem of streaks in between the glass on the door first he told me that is normal... I disagreed then he told me to put water in the door. I have a three-year-old Samsung side-by-side fridge that cost me $1000. Suddenly last month, it started to make a noise like a motorboat. I didnt think that a fridge less than 3 years old should be having issues, as I have had many refrigerators that lasted me 15 years or more with no repairs needed. None were Samsung. Well, I called Samsung and they were not willing to do anything for me. I had to call and ask for a supervisor who was not willing to make any concessions. Finally, after telling me multiple times that the fridge is out of warranty, she says she will pay for the parts but I had to pay for the installation myself.I am on a fixed budget and the repairman, theirs, wanted $250.00 to do the job. My son can do it for me for free - all we needed was the part. So I asked them to send me the parts then for free as they offered, but she said no, I HAD to use their service people or it would void the warranty. What warranty? Didnt you just tell me 5 times that I was out of warranty? She said it would void the warranty. This is a runaround and I am looking to find out if anyone else is having this problem with their fridge. The evaporation coil freezes up on the fridge side, and I was told I needed a Temperature Defrost sensor. I found one locally and am going to install it myself, but I had to make twenty phone calls in order to find one. The part costs $11!! Rip off company, lousy products and poor customer service. Dont ever buy a Samsung fridge!

We had it worked on so much that they extended my 1 year warranty by a few months just because I complained so much. We have also had trouble with the compressor fan. In Nov the wife and I bought a new fridge from Warners Stellian... The old one was getting a bit worn. So we settled on a Samsung bottom freezer model that has an internal ice maker and filtered water dispenser. We got it delivered, set up, and running no problem. It took about 3 days of running water through the system to get it tasting like decent water to start with. One week to the day after delivery, the water dispenser stopped working. We called Warner Stellian and they scheduled a tech to come out in just over a week. The tech looked at it, couldnt figure out why the part wasnt working the way it should be, and said hed order a new one. A week later we get a call from them and they told us that the part wasnt in and due to Samsung redesigning the part we would be getting a brand new fridge. I scheduled a tech from both Warner Stellian and Samsung to come look at it. The guy from Samsung was supposed to be here before the other guy so I was happy. The morning the tech was supposed to come out from Samsung, he was going to call me before 9 to tell me what time he would be here. At 9:30 I texted them and told them I hadnt gotten a call. SHe texted me back and said she would reach out to him. Three hours later I still hadnt heard anything, so I texted again. She texted me back and said Oh Im sorry. The tech called in sick today and we didnt find out about it till a short time ago. WTF???? Three weeks later we finally get the new one. Before they left after delivering it I made sure it worked the way it should. One week to the day after getting it delivered and set up, the water dispenser stopped working. Turns out the redesign wasnt actually a redesign. The work-around the company put out wasnt done on this particular model. The tech puts in a stopgap to at least allow the water to work until they can get the right part in. A week and a half later, they get the part and schedule the tech to come out. He replaces the part and its working again. The fridge worked great for about 3 weeks until last Sunday. We noticed the freezer wasnt working right, then realized the fridge wasnt cooling either. So the tech comes out yesterday, and says he cant figure out exactly what it is. EIther the compressor or the main board. So they have ordered both parts. The parts will arrive in 3-5 business days and then who knows how long it will take for the tech to come out and actually replace the part. Carissa and my grandson are here this week, they arrived last Thursday. So now what food I was able to save is down in the garage in boxes or our chest freezer. My warranty has a provision that allows us to claim $250 worth of groceries but that is a drop in the bucket. Its daily trips to the store because we dont want to keep anything for too long. The food we would have replaced isnt yet because I dont have a place to put it. Warners Stellian says the company has to ok a return of the item and they said since its a new fridge, they will fix it. Their customer support tells me Im sorry for your inconvenience, I hope it can be fixed very soon, or My apologies for this experience.

I purchased a 3 door Samsung refrigerator with ice maker 3 years ago. The refrigerator is junk. It freezes up making clucking jarring sounds because of the ice build up. It leaks under the crisper drawers and on to the floor outside of the fridge. I have contacted Samsung for the last 6 months. They asked me to allow them to pay a service tech to come fix it. The service tech broke the fridge and had me pay $400 to fix it. Still does the same thing. Samsung asked to pay for another repair but their techs could not make an appointment that was convenient for me then told me to use a tech in my area to state the fridge was unrepairable. I did so and paid $85. Now they are telling me that it is a seal problem and that I am either leaving my doors open or the doors are not on properly. I have since purchased a Maytag and threw the Samsung off my back porch. Samsung creates ticket numbers and closes them never returning phone calls or emails. Showing they are the guilty party in the problem with this fridge. I currently have had another ticket escalated to ask to pay for what I have put out because they asked me to do this in order to resolve the issue. $481. They just give you the runaround once again proving they are guilty of knowing that these are junk. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING SAMSUNG.

Samsung is giving me the royal run-around in trying to: * get a 3rd new replacement refrigerator. I bought a 5-year warranty from Home Depot, where I originally bought this refrigerator on 7/15/13; it arrived damaged out of the box; the 2nd refrigerator, which is sitting in my kitchen, wont make ice and the temp in the fridge doesnt get above 54.6 (so all food has spoiled!)* get my current fridge repaired -- TO NO AVAIL! I have called and spoken with 6 different Samsung reps -- one told me parts were on order from Via Appliance; another said well have to refund your money for the fridge but wont refund my $ for the 5-year warranty (I have to deal w/ Home Depot for that!), and yet another said they couldnt help me -- I have to contact their external affairs dept. but refused to give me a phone number. It seems the ONLY appliance repair company that Samsung has under contract in Northern Virginia is so backed up with Samsung refrigerator repairs from customers that theyre refusing to take new service requests from Samsung. There seem to be so many problems with these refrigerators that appliance repair shops are REFUSING to repair them -- even when NEW and even when THEYRE under contract with Samsung. Unbelievable!!! STAY AWAY FROM SAMSUNG REFRIGERATORS!!! Theyre not only a piece of junk, their customer service is non-existent!

We registered a complaint regarding our fridge which we bought just about one and half years ago... The complaint was done on the 4th of June and this is the 8th of June today, and still the problem is not solved. Today we called the service center for four times. Every time we are told that your problem is on priority and will be solved soon... In the evening, a senior executive told us that it is 7 oclock and this time no one can come... and we are told to wait till the coming Monday that is the 10th of June... So we are so disappointed with their services and we found ourselves helpless in this condition. We think that we should not buy any more products from Samsung.

My refrigerator stopped working on 11-19-11. There was a lot of water on the floor and the refrigerator and freezer were both warm. I contacted Sears and was advised that someone would be out on 11-21-11 to repair. That did not happen. I called Sears again and a repair technician came out on 11-22-11. Said he replaced a filter and recharged with coolant. Told me should be cold in a couple of hours. At 4pm, it was still warm. I called Sears again. Repair technician came out on 11-23-11, told me there was a major leak in the cabin part of the refrigerator. He said they would order the part and it would be shipped directly to my home but of course that will not be until next week repair said they would be back on 12-1-11 to repair. I only had this refrigerator for six months. Its the day before Thanksgiving and I have no refrigerator. This is depressing.

I wish I did more research and read reviews before getting into a Samsung refrigerator. 2 1/2 years ago, I bought a new refrigerator. Since I was spending more than a $1,000 on a fridge, I expected to last the usual 10 years and did not buy the guarantee. Well, I had problems with the refrigerator from day 1. A week after it was delivered I had to call service because of problems with the ice maker. After that service was called three more times with same problems. Motor is out now. Of course Samsung said you are out of luck since you did not pay $400 extra for the guarantee. I explained to them that is a persisting problem but they just say you are out of luck. Horrible customer service and worse product I ever spend money on. My washer and dryer are from another brand and I had them for more than 10 years. I will never buy a Samsung product again and will make sure my friends and family never buy a Samsung product either. Do yourself a favor and skip Samsung.

Although my Samsung Refrigerator (Model RF217ACRS) looks great and worked fine for a while, the fridge is a lemon. Do not buy a Samsung fridge. Even though I have had two visits from a professional and had one part replaced, the fridge suffers from major ice buildup problems. At first it was ice and water in the bottom of the fridge. Later it was ice buildup that cut off the flow of cold air. The machine needs to be unplugged and defrosted on a regular basis which is extremely annoying. The machine has power but is not dependable.

Purchased Samsung fridge 2013, 3 door. Great unit for the first year. Since then I have to remove the ice maker every 3 months to thaw out and chip the ice off the compartment walls. The ice builds up around the ice maker and eventually blocking the ice from dropping. Ice backs up, freezes together forming an ice rock. Dealer cant help because it is a design flaw and Samsung will not admit it. Slap me if I ever purchase anything made by Samsung.

Bought this Samsung model #DW80H9930US dishwasher 8 months ago. The piece of crap starting leaking on its third use and has never stopped. The dishwasher leaks from the doors and seems beneath the door. It has never latched properly so that when if and when it ever reaches a steam cycle without human intervention, the steam escapes from the top of the dishwasher and soaks the entire counter top which then drips to the floor too. Sometimes, I would excited because I only had to intervene with the door twice during a cycle to ensure washing completion. 8 months later, I have to re-latch the door six times to complete the cycle while the dishwasher pisses all over the floor. Ive had Samsung out two times already to fix this never ending problem to no avail and I am working on my third time now.Getting in touch with someone to speak with at Samsung who can get me to the right person to fix the damn thing is a nightmare. After speaking with at least two people who I have to repeatedly ask to repeat themselves because of thick middle eastern accents, I am then told to email all of my proof of purchase receipts to an unnamed department without any point of contact information, whom I am told will get back to me within 24 hours. It then goes from 24 hours to 48 hours (as told by the third person with an accent). When I clarify with her that in two days I should be receiving a call, she tells me that its 48 BUSINESS HOURS! So I now have to wait another week before I even get a call back to tell me they have verified I made the purchase legitimately.So... I email my proof of purchase to a totally different group of people (apart from the customer service reps with accents) and they get back with me about 17 hours later, with an e-mail telling me I need to upload the documents instead of emailing the documents; more time wasted. This is Samsung!!! And when they call me back about four days later, with a blessing stating they believe I made the purchase, they call a company in California who contracts with repairmen in my state who will eventually come to my house to look at the leaking monstrosity. And if they dont get it fixed on that visit, I have to start the process over again. I am disgusted with Samsung and will never. DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG APPLIANCES. There is a class action lawsuit with their washing machines right now. I am surprised there is not a class action for the dishwashers. Anyone know a good torte attorney???

We bought a higher end Samsung dishwasher at Best Buy on Black Friday, 2013
We bought a higher end Samsung dishwasher at Best Buy on Black Friday, 2013. It was delivered 12/9/2013. It ran once through all cycles and dishes were dirty. Ran it again and it stopped and started blinking (many complaints say the same). So, we called Best Buy right after the new year to ask for help. Their one month warranty was up and further repairs were to be covered under Samsungs warranty. Well, two service calls later, they have to order a whole new computer panel. This is insane that an out-of-the-box dishwasher is defective. Called Samsung to ask for a replacement, and they denied it and said they will wait and see what the next replacement part does and if the issue is resolved. I will NEVER buy any Samsung product again and will hire an attorney to get my $700 back. This is outrageous that I have had to miss work 2 days already and now a third time? I would avoid Samsung products at all costs. AND, local repair parts retailers do not stock Samsung parts--they have to be special ordered.

Four days ago, wife went for ice cream and all items in freezer were melted, ice cubes and all frozen items melted. There are only 2 adults in this house and we eat out all the time so this appliance is not abused, opened and closed 500 times a day by 5 kids. Wife calls Samsung and gets the run around from someone reading a card...do this, do that, and next day, thanks to the idiot, the temperature had gone up another 10 degrees. We called again and again, got another idiot reading off another card that could not give any usable information, and the best they could do is set us up with a generic all-brand appliance repair private contractor whom, after checking the c/os against him, sounded shady.I cancelled the call and took a bullet with Sears $275 plus tax $294 on top of the ton of money this hunk of Asian crap cost me (the contractor grade American fridge I got with the townhouse was working fine for 28 years until I unplugged it the day this crap came into my house). So much for Asian technology, and do not expect any red carpet treatment from Samsung CSRs!!!!! I am so sorry I bought this!!! And will never call Samsung again. As absurd as it may sound, a Honda service writer may have offered better information as what to do to check the appliance!

First, I must tell you this refrigerator was purchased for my 90-year old father who lived in the country by himself, 5 miles from any of his kids. It was purchased in 8/2011. Approximately one year later, it went into demo mode. Theres nothing in the book about it so I called Samsung. They said it had to be caused from a power surge and they told me to reset it, so I did. Approximately a month later, it did it again. This time, I did not call them. I reset it myself. On Oct. 31 of 2012, I had a knee replaced about three weeks after my dad called and said it went into demo mode again. My husband had to take me out there to reset it. It was on the weekend and we could not get a hold of Samsung, so I called my son-in-law who had had the same problems with his. He told me to unplug it and see if it would reset, which it did. It seems to work for a while. Again in Feb, it went into demo mode again. (When it does this, it is not working, no cold air.) Dad tried to reach us all day. Finally, he got a hold of us in the afternoon. The refrigerator had been off all day. My son-in-law went in the afternoon and turned the refrigerator back on. Samsung wont do anything because its been over a year. Lowes wont do anything because we did not buy the extended warranty. It has gone into demo once this month already. 1 1/2 years old and it is a pain in the butt for my whole family.

I purchased a NEW Samsung dishwasher DW8OJ 302045-AC from a clearance centre on July 4/15. I had it installed, July 12th. By July 25th, it would not operate. July 29th I reported it to the Samsung service centre. It was transferred to a local appliance centre who ordered parts, and Sept. 7th, two electronic panels were replaced. It created a new problem. Now Samsung wants me to disconnect it, and they will pick it up, and after 2-3 weeks refund my money. They acknowledge that their product is defective but refuse to replace it or compensate me for the installation or disconnection or inconvenience.By the time I receive my refund, I will have owned this inferior product for almost 4 months and used it only 5 times. Never buy a Samsung dishwasher - this is not an isolated incident. Read the other negative reviews. The Samsung service department is located in eastern Canada. You can e-mail but good luck reaching them in the afternoons. QUALITY CONTROL AND CUSTOMER SATISFACTION ARE NOT IMPORTANT TO SAMSUNG!

I purchased a Samsung fridge March 2013 from the brick with stove, and dishwasher for our new home. Within the first 6 months we started to notice water in the crisper - just one side... OK someone spilled something? That went on for a few more months and we started wondering what/why? Went online and was told to contact Samsung, there was a fix to our problem. I called, they sent repair person here Feb 13 2015. Within 3 months it started again called right away. They sent the same part for a new repair - which was the entire BACK of the fridge - this time will do it! That was June 30/15 and we have been calling Samsung now for a few weeks as it started again? When do they come clean and give me a new fridge? This is obviously unfixable and a malfunction of this fridge - what can I do? So far all my calls say sorry already fixed 2x, no more for you??? Not good!!! I have a basic 2 door model - no ice maker, no water, just a fridge with freezer on the bottom. I need help - willing to repair but will it really work this time? Do I spend the money or toss this fridge and refuse to EVER buy Samsung again?

I purchased our Samsung French Door Refrigerator from Lowe’s under 2 year
I purchased our Samsung French Door Refrigerator from Lowe’s under 2 years ago. Approximately 6 months ago I noticed what looked like possible spaghetti sauce splatter on the front of the fridge and when I went to wipe it off realized it was rust. At the time the refrigerator was approximately 1.4 years old, had been kept inside the entire time and we cleaned as instructed by the Lowe’s employee when it was purchased. We did not purchase the extended warranty but I called the Samsung Helpline thinking they might offer to replace the doors as rusting doors seems like a clear manufacturers defect in my opinion. I was told that this fell under cosmetic issues and therefore there was nothing they could do for us except offer to send a technician to look at it. So, I still have a rusting fridge in my kitchen. Then 3 weeks ago I came down to our kitchen to leave for work to find our kitchen floor absolutely flooded. The ice maker valve had apparently broken causing our water supply to kick water out of the fridge into the kitchen while we slept. The first technician (suggested by Samsung Helpline) could not identify the problem but said he would replace the inlet valve, ice maker and mother board for approximately $450.00. Not to mention we had to pay him $45 simply to come inspect the refrigerator. We chose not to have him touch the fridge since his shotgun approach to the problem did not make sense to us but were out the $45.00. The second technician identified the valve as the problem and between part/labor we paid about $240.00. So far no more floods and the ice maker is still working. We purchased this refrigerator because of its nice appearance and based on our understanding of Samsung’s reputation which I thought would translate to a reliable product - a decision I clearly regret. Im clearly disappointed in Samsung as I had faith their product would be more reliable and/or their service more professional. Im also disappointed in myself because the refrigerator I purchased 15 years from a different company and havent had to put a cent into is purring right along in my garage and regret not showing more loyalty to that company.

Big regrets, Samsung appliances are terrible. Purchased a 28 ft.³ Samsung French door refrigerator at Home Depot in 2015, within a year started having trouble with the icemaker. It freezes over, Samsung solution is to defrost it. I’ve done that for years. Now it’s getting worse, I used to be able to go a few months. Now can barely go a few weeks. It is an extreme inconvenience and definitely not something I expected out of a refrigerator that costs as much as this one. My only advice AVOID SAMSUNG unless you enjoy headaches & shady business ethics - oh and junk appliances!! This is a design defect and Samsung knows this yet will not recall these big hunks of junk. It is criminal what they’re getting away with!

The parts totaled $497.39, plus $165 labor along with $39.07 tax, total $686.46. The repairman gave me all the part replacement information and recommended that I contact Samsung Customer service since the problem I am having is common for this model, RF28HMEDBSR/AA. The customer service rep looked up the serial number and said that the ref is three years old and that the ice maker is only under warranty for one year. I said, You mean that Samsung believes that the ice maker should only last one year plus and the ref and freezer should last five years. Today I spoke with the main office of Lowes and apparently there is nothing that can be done for this except to replace the doors and drawer or pull them off and have someone sand them down and repaint. My concern is this... WHY is there RUST under the white paint??? I do not have any leaks, I do not use any cleaners except for a damp cloth and there has been nothing hit any of the edges to create cracks. I started with one small area 3-4 weeks ago and now it is across the bottom of the left door, all the way across the top edge of the freezer drawer and one small area that has just popped up on the bottom of the drawer. Last time this happened we had to unplug the fridge so it could thaw out so they could change a part. I sure hope we don’t have to do this again. Every two weeks I have to melt the ice with my wifes Blower and drain hot water to the draining system. I cant do this any longer Im sick of it. I didnt buy a New refrigerator to be a SLAVE of it. It was supposed to service me. Not the other way around. My question to Consumer Affairs is why hasnt the U.S. Government taken action against Samsung? Many other complaints as the same as mine.

The ice maker started jamming right away. When we called they gave us instructions on how to clear the jam ourself. I have never had a company tell me to fix anything myself. What they told me to do did not fix it. So we called and finally got them to send a service person out. He did not put a new ice maker. He just caulked around the ice bin. Within a day it was jamming again. We called to have a service person come back and fix it. When he came he put a whole new ice maker in. No help! It is still jamming and now it is gathering ice in the chute inside the door and then when the door opens ice flies everywhere.Putting in another ice maker is not going to solve the problems we are having because the blades have too much slack in them and they go behind another blade and they hang up. We called and told them we wanted them to come and get the refrigerator and of course they refused to. The company should not be allowed to sell this kind of junk and then make people keep it. I wish we had known how bad the product was and hope everyone will beware of buying anything Samsung!
