Dishwasher: purchased based on Most Quiet, all the racks busted, the storm wash bar busted. Junk! Microwave: (over the oven/stove model) Thermostat (after much research online) not working = no power at all. Nothing! Fridge: Freezer on bottom, Side by Side fridge on top Ice maker piles up tons of random sized cubes that fall over the back of cube holder into the open bottom of fridge. One of the front foot glider covers completely broke off, and any little thing will dent the doors permanently in nothing flat. DO NOT EVER PURCHASE SAMSUNG KITCHEN APPLIANCES EVER!

Samsung RF267 series- Never another Samsung. I purchased a Samsung dishwasher and Refrigerator at the same time 6 years ago. The dishwasher quit after about 1 1/2 years and the refrigerator has had issues from the beginning. Freezer not draining properly causing water build up under crisper drawers and leaking onto the floor. This is a known problem on Samsungs but Samsung has done nothing to address the issue. Then about a year ago ice maker would freeze up and not work until it was defrosted. Now the water build up is continuing and the ice maker has stopped working completely. This refrigerator is not recommended.

Were an older couple, no children household. The front of our refrigerator started to peel away 12 months after we purchased it. Samsung considers it cosmetic damage and not a production problem. If you want a refrigerator that is only partially black stainless (with the one side flapping off) then this is the fridge for you!

I am having too many issues with the Samsung Model RS261MDRS-XAA side by side which was built in July 2013. In 2015, it started freezing things such as milk, fruits etc. So end up putting new damper and main board through Samsung repair center website recommendation. It did cost quite a bit that time. Now water dispenser gets stuck when ever I use it and water keeps coming. I called Sears service this time and was told to change the main board. I dont think I am ready to spend more money on this faulty piece. Probably will not buy another Samsung product.

I was cooking supper one night when I heard a loud bang and then loud arching sound. I ran to the kitchen to see a flame in the oven and my house filled with smoke - set the smoke detector off. Luckily it blew the breaker so the house did not catch on fire. When it cooled down we looked in the oven and found a hole had been blown right through in the bottom. Looked like it blew upward from the warming drawer. Samsung reaction - we will fix it but nothing else. It cannot be fixed. They do not stand behind their products at all.

Side by Side Refrigerator RS265TDRS is approx. 3 yrs old. Problems with ice maker freezing up and not making ice since I have owned it. Ice maker replaced one time during warranty, but I continue to have the same problem. Now the refrigerator will not cool, found that the back of the fridge was frozen and the evaporator fan motor will not work. Had to defrost refrigerator with hair dryer. Just read all the reviews with the same complaints. Wish I had read the reviews before buying, but I will not make the same mistake of buying from Samsung twice. I am ready for the class action lawsuit.

After 5 years my refrigerator just quit working. Extended warranty repairs failed twice. Motherboard went out, it was replaced which didnt communicate with the temperature control panel, which was then replaced. The defrost control went out three times. It is on order again to give me time to study my next new one. Samsung wouldnt even give me the time of day, said they would send for review which took thirty minutes for them to tell me to go to he double toothpicks.

Purchased model 4 years ago. Had all sorts of problems. The control pad froze up continually. Lights & fan came on randomly by itself. We had service to fix it on numerous occasions. The repairs were in vain. Could not be fixed. Samsung finally within the warranty period exchanged the unit for a new one. Well, we had the same problems. Several repairs and 3 years later, the unit died No power. Since the warranty expired, Samsung refused to replace or repair. A service call was $165 plus parts. We purchase a new GE microwave. Do not purchase a Samsung Microwave.

On 21 January 2014 I purchased a Samsung 924L 4dr ref steel fridge for a lot of money. Approx some time in September 2015 had to ring Samsung to inform them that I had no ice. I was taken to the Philippines and spoke to a representative who explained to me that they would send someone out from Nerang to look at the fridge. (By the way I did purchase product care which meant that the fridge was under 6 years warranty.) A person after 3 days came out and was late for their appointment (didnt apologise) and said that the fridge had ice and that I should not touch the button on the rhs as this would cause problems and that ice would not produce if the temperatures were wrong. (I was dumbfounded that Samsung would put a button on their fridge and that the consumer should not touch it.) I was also informed that if I had created the mistake I would have to pay for it (do you believe this). I agree that I touched the button after reading their manual for troubleshooting ideas but I dont believe that I had anything to do with breaking this fridge (disgusting customer service representation on their part). I then, after about a week and a half was stuck with the same problem and therefore contacted product care. I was quite taken aback when I was spoken to by a representative from Australia and not overseas. I then realised that I had contacted Samsung direct the first time. The lady I spoke to was very nice and informed me that even though I still had my original warranty with Samsung Product Care was the necessary component I should have spoken to at first. Well, anyway they then informed me that they needed to send out a repairman to see the damage to the fridge. I was very happy about this but asked them if they would not use the company in Nerang and she then told me that this company was not on their records and I could choose a company from Tweed Heads or Southport. I chose the Company from Southport and a gentleman came out within a couple of days and informed me that my ice maker was broken. He suggested that since I had a replacement option it was probably better to do that. I was then informed by him to ring Product Care to let them know that he would be sending his report through asap. I did that the same afternoon and heard nothing for about a week. I was very frustrated and was told by Product Care that they never received the report from the repairman. I then contacted the repair service and was told that I was not able to have the report sent to me direct as it was inconceivable that they could do this. I requested to speak to a supervisor or someone in charge to explain why. This person, Camillia responded by saying that the report stated that the icemaker was broken and also the motherboard and because it was a big problem they had been contacted by Samsung direct and had been informed to deal with them direct and not product care. I find this ridiculous. Firstly I am the client, customer service should dictate that I should be fully aware of what is going on. Of course not, we are dealing with Samsung. Product Care rang me to inform me that this was nonsense and that I had been issued a full refund less product care and that I would get a new fridge asap. Firstly I needed to contact Domayne where I originally bought the fridge from and purchase another fridge which I did. I had to purchase another fridge and pay a second time for product care. I find this unbelievable. I must mention that I got a call from Camillia in regards to the above on my answering service to inform me that the matter had been escalated to a review centre at Samsung and that I should contact them. I find this incredible. Why are companies like this allowed to get away with treating their consumers so shabbily.

My light went out and could not get the bulb out. So I unclipped it and it was melted so I took down other light and same thing - just not as bad. Apparently Samsung has a lot of product fire safety issues. Check your refrigerator light sockets and let me know. I think this is is a huge issue and you cant tell unless you drop the lights down. Bought a dishwasher around Jan. of 2013. Within 5 months, the controls and keypad were dead and unresponsive. Took forever to find a guy who could service Samsung in my neck of the woods. He declared the motherboard dead and said I needed a new one (total of $120 for part and labor). Dishwasher worked fine for all of about 3 months and the exact same thing happened again. Piece of **. I refused to keep spending $120 to keep $600 dishwasher running. So I blew it up on my gun range and went out and bought a Bosch - which has worked beautifully for 3 years.

When redoing my kitchen, I wanted a counter depth refrigerator but only have a 30+ opening. What I found is that Samsung is the only manufacturer offering this under $2000.00. Yes you can buy a Sub-Zero for $7k or a Liebherr for $4k but you also need over 70 in height which I do not have. I am not the only one in this situation. My sister recently faced the same problem, along with 3 other shoppers in the showroom... Right from the start there were problems; food and beverages freezing in the refrigerator, ice buildup and water in and under the crisper bins, water dripping on the floor, crushed ice chips rather than cubes. Repaired once with a new control they said was a design defect, but out of warranty so you are on your own. Now the ice maker has stopped working entirely, the freezing water is back in the fridge and on the floor and the ice cream is melting in the freezer. My friend also has this unit in white. She has the paint peeling off the handles, the same freezing/dripping water problems and ice maker problems. Not everyone has a huge kitchen where they have many choices for counter depth machines. Why are manufacturers ignoring this market? I understand the small kitchen accounts for 30% of homes and apartments in the USA. I am waiting for the repairman once again today... This Samsung is a piece of garbage! Dont buy it. Wish I had the $ for the subzero... but then again Subzero would be a better investment if I have to buy this Samsung crap every few years...

Consumers should be aware of purchasing Samsung refrigerators as they do not last without extensive repair. Exactly at 2 yrs and 2 mos., freezer issues and ice maker issues developed some of which are still not functioning. Now our repair person has not been able to get a freezer part for weeks as it is out of stock and on back order. This is a $2200 purchase made 12/18/12, that is the worst appliance that I have ever purchased. I am now going to have to spend another $2000 plus to replace this *** in order to have a working appliance. Buyer aware notice from me to perspective purchasers.

Based on the Consumer Reports review (microwave has since been dropped from their recommended list), I purchased the SMH9187ST. It worked great for 13 months then died with the dreaded SE error. I tried resetting the control module and worked for another week. I contacted Samsung and they acted like I was crazy. But thanks to kind folks in this forum, I went to repairclinic.com and purchased the replacement model item #2024600 and part #DE94-01999C for $70. I got it in a week and took all of 5 minutes to replace. I will restate the procedure: 1. Unscrew the 2 top vent screws and slide to the left. 2. Take out the top control module screw and gently remove, watching out for the tabs on the bottom. 3. There are 6 wiring connections that pull away very easily. Mark them if you need to.4. Put everything back and youre done. Working great! So far. This was way easier than I thought. Also, I contacted Consumer Reports and they provided info for filing formal complaints with various agencies. But they must be listening because Samsung is no longer in their OTR recommended list.

Unfortunately made a poor decision in purchasing this refrigerator. Samsung is very good at making excuses for the problems occurring. Too bad so sad. Noise in the back, rattles. Its your water pressure causing that! Ice maker shoots ice all over. Love having to wipe the floor every time I get ice. The settings are for cubed and crushed but good luck getting cubes as the crushed continue to fly. Expensive lesson learned.

More of the same. I brought the refrigerator RS261MDWP on 11-21-2011 at Best Buy. The freezer froze up and did not drain as designed. I took out the fan that cools the refrigerator side. I called for a repair. The repair company is CE in CT, rated F with the Better Business. I am now playing games with CE to come out to repair it. Now the freezers side is not working and the controller on the front of the unit is dead. It is plainly a piece of crap. I am now playing games with both Samsung and CE. If you find beating ice off the inside of your ice maker enjoyable, this is the fridge for you. At least once every two weeks youll find yourself with a butter knife chipping the ice away. And, dont quit until youve bloodied at least 2 knuckles. I mean who doesnt like a little blood in their ice? But wait, theres more! The water dispenser leaks constantly so you get a nice build up of water mineral in the catch basin. It really adds color to your fridge. I would go ice my knuckles now, but we dont have any ice... :(

My side-by-side Samsung refrigerator, model RS265TDRS, was purchased in Dec
My side-by-side Samsung refrigerator, model RS265TDRS, was purchased in December 2010, so its about 3.5 years old. Very expensive unit. It started making noise sounding like a generator - so loud, I was afraid something was breaking in there. When I opened the refrigerator door it would stop, then start again when the door was closed. We moved the food into another refrigerator and freezer, unplugged this unit, and made arrangements with Samsung for a service call. (That itself was an adventure: Samsung rep never responded to email; the phone number in the refrigerator manual was for mobile phone service; the online form for a service request didnt work under several browsers. Finally used live chat and had the chat rep fill out the service request for me.)Two weeks later, I plugged in the unit in preparation for the service techs visit. No noise. The service tech called me to confirm the appointment, then suggested we cancel the service call, because (a) with no noise, he cant really diagnose a problem; (b) chances are it was just ice build-up and may never happen again; (c) removing the panel to get at the fan means removing all tech, because everything is attached to the panel, and that means replacing the panel because you cant just put it back on after its been taken off; and (d) something like his labor and the panel wouldnt be covered by warranty anyway after 3.5 years. These are expensive refrigerators. I like lots of things about it, but I think its ridiculous that I should have to unplug my refrigerator every now and then to make sure ice doesnt build up, and its ridiculous that this problem wouldnt be covered under a warranty. For anyone who has the same fan-sounds-like-a-generator problem, unplug it for a while and save yourself the hassle of getting in touch with Samsung. Im really hoping this solves the problem.

We purchased our refrigerator in August of 2010. The refrigerator side has failed cooling 4 times in three years. Each time, the technician comes out and repairs it by replacing the same control board and coil heater unit. Each time, it cools fine for 8 to 10 months. Then it fails again. Same failure. They are not addressing the real issue, just replacing the failed components. The cause of these failures is not being addressed. The last technician even said there was a defect in the design. The worst customer service experience I have ever been apart of. I purchased a new Samsung dishwasher MODEL NUMBER DW80J3020UB/AA, from Conns on October 13th, 2015. It was delivered a few day later, the box from the outside looked fine, no damage to report, all is good. Two weeks later when my contractor had the dishwasher installed it leaked water from the front of the unit. After further examination damage was located inside the dishwasher that was creating the leaking issue. I called Conns to report the damage and was notified by the manager that it was a Samsung issue due to it being after 30 days from purchase and they gave me an 800 number to call. So called Samsung to report the damage, they listened to what I had to say and told me that a service technician would need to come and look at and/or possibly repair the dishwasher. Fine, a tech came to the house, looked, took pictures, called and reported back to Samsung while I was listening and this is what he reported. There is damage to the inside of the dishwasher that cant be repaired, the customer could not have seen this damage from the shipping container and that the dishwasher needed to be replaced. All was good until a few days later I hadnt heard back from Samsung so I called to ask for an update and possibly get the ra number required to replace my dishwasher. I was notified that the service technician reported back to them the damage was cosmetic and therefore the damage would not be covered under the manufactures warranty. I replied to the lady that the technician had reported something completely different to myself and to them while I was listening. She said that another service company would have to be sent out to resolve the issue. Thats what happened, another company came out and looked at the dishwasher and reported to them that the dishwasher was damaged, could not be repaired and needed to be replaced. The customer could not have seen the damage from the shipping container so therefore needed to be replaced. Waiting, waiting, nothing from Samsung, so I called them again for an update and this is what I was told! The damage to your dishwasher IS NOT covered and will not be replaced due to the technicians report that visited our home. I paid $500.00 plus for a brand new dishwasher that was delivered, unusable and will NOT be replaced. I am not rich, $500.00 dollars is a lot of money that normal people cant just throw away but I guess that is what Conns and Samsung expect. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!

We purchased Samsung appliances at HHGregg in Dec 2013 and installed them in Jan 2014. The stove was delivered damaged and had to be reordered. It came a little while later and I installed it. They all worked good until about 2 weeks ago and the oven quit working. My wife called Samsung only to be told the warranty had expired Nov 2013, and the stove was not registered to our phone number or address. That was not possible because we received it in Jan 2014. She took our information and a person from Samsung called back in a few days and said they were going to replace the stove. They just needed a copy of the receipt. The person would not give a full name or phone number. Just the first name. My wife emailed the receipt and we waited for 5-6 days and no one contacted us. My wife called Samsung again and this time she was talking to a woman who was very rude and said they did not get a receipt. She asked to send the info again to a different place and she waited on the line and said she got it and a repair man would be out Friday. When asked about replacing the range, she said something like why should we. When asked for a written copy of what our warranty is and when it is good to, she refused and refused to give an address to write a letter to, and refused to let my wife talk to a manager. We dont trust them now and think it could be possible we didnt get a new stove. What can we do to make this right?

I have a RFG29 Samsung French Door Refrigerator that is about 7-8 years old and no longer within warranty. We started having ice build up under the large slide-out crisper drawer that hindered getting the drawer to slide out. Called the Samsung US for help and the customer service person said it needed to be level - they explained when the screw down levels in front touched the floor, it was level. Of course that didnt work, so called back on a Thursday and another representative told me how to identify the error code on the control panel - that indicated a freezer evaporator defrost system failure. The rep then set me up with an afternoon service appointment for following Monday, and the service company would contact me to confirm the appointment. Was also told that a flat $120 fee would need to be prepaid. The repair service company called the next day and said their first available appointment time was the following Thursday between 1:00 and 5:00 - said the Samsung Customer service could only give me a preferred time, and not an actual appointment time since the local service company controlled their schedule. Also paid them the $120 fee via credit card. When Thursday afternoon came, I heard nothing and called Samsung Customer Service to find out what was going on. The Customer Service Rep checked and found that the first repair service had transferred the repair ticket to another repair service who quit doing business with Samsung the day before my scheduled service, and my ticket was transferred to a third repair service. The Rep gave me their name and number, and said they should contact me to schedule service. (I did check and found that my credit card had not been charged by the first repair service.) I checked reviews for the third repair service, and saw they were generally bad.I called a non-factory authorized repair service the next day (Friday) who came out that afternoon and immediately told me the problem had a factory service repair kit which they would install for a flat fee (suspect it was cheaper than Samsung) and warranty it for a year (think Samsung authorized service was either 30 or maybe 90 days). They ordered the part, came back the following Monday and installed the factory repair kit, and things seem to work fine. I never heard from the third Samsung authorized repair service. To top it off, I got a call from Samsung US Customer Service who wanted to know where I bought my refrigerator. Further, since Samsung could not provide a service tech, they would give us full credit toward a new replacement refrigerator. However, as my wife said, how are we supposed to shop for a refrigerator under COVID-19 lockdown? I told the Rep that I had the refrigerator repaired, and Samsung could pay the repair bill ($300) - the Rep then informed me since I didnt use an authorized Samsung repair service, Samsung would not pay for the repairs and also that I was no longer eligible for a replacement refrigerator! I politely (not) told her it would be a cold day in hell before I ever had another Samsung product. Subsequently, I received an email from Samsung canceling my repair ticket. At least I found what I consider a very good appliance repair shop locally.

My Samsung refrigerator is just 1 year old and the technicians have visited almost every month due to one or the other problem. It started just over a month when I realized that any fruit or vegetable I kept outside the vegetable compartment had ice in it. Even the cooked vegetables if kept in the back of the shelf had ice in it. I kept on complaining this issue to Samsung Customer Service. Every time they will send a technician who will change the part and go. It was more of a pain as I couldnt use the fridge to full capacity. As instructed by technicians there were so many things which I shouldnt put in certain shelves or the size of boxes. I kept away leftovers or anything cooked/half cooked. I dont remember till date if I ever had to be so careful in using the refrigerator. I couldnt use half of the space in refrigerator fearing it will get spoiled. Not only that, my refrigerator stopped working completely 3 times in just a span of 1 year. Again they had to change the parts. I kept on calling them and asking them to change the refrigerator as it was giving me so many problems (not to forget just in 1 year- full warranty period) but they just turned deaf ear to my requests, even when I contacted their supervisor. Ill never ever recommend Samsung refrigerator to anyone after this experience. It looks like every time the warranty expires, Ill have to keep purchasing extended warranty and bear with the refrigerator. This Samsung product has been a big pain in the ass.

I had purchased Samsung Fridge Double Door RT36JSRZESP on May 15.05.2015. On 05.08.2016 the fridge stopped cooling. When registered complain service engineer who visited communicated that Compressor Pipe has leaked and thus eventually the Compressor Gas has leaked. This is not covered in Warranty. The root cause he communicated is that locality air causes this and all the fridges in this area have same issue and the pipes needs to be replaced every year. When inquired in DWARKA area it was found that this was total bluff.

We had our Samsung French Door refrigerator for about six months when the ice maker would not stop making ice when the bucket was full and then get jammed up with ice up at the top of the maker. After clearing the ice and resetting the maker multiple times, I called Samsung. The phone tech was very hard to understand, since he was from India (although he was always polite). He walked me through several resets and then, instead of sending a service tech as I requested, he had me turn the ice maker off for several days and then turn it back on and reset it with the intent of clearing the machine. It did not work. More jamming of ice. Today I called service again and they are sending a service tech with a new ice maker. I will update my experience after the install and a reasonable time to see if it functions correctly. However, I do not feel it was appropriate for them to postpone service when the problem had persisted for almost a month prior to my call and I am not pleased that the ice maker failed when the refrigerator is only six months old.

We have had our refrigerator (bottom-freezer) less than a year. Weve had Samsung out 3 times to check out the random very loud noise that it makes. The resulting opinion is that the noise is normal. I am having to endure it as I type this and would encourage anyone to NOT BUY a Samsung appliance. Another thing is the space inside. The shelves are not spaced to hold American-sized food/drink containers, so we have to store them on their sides. From what Ive read, they make fine electronics - TVs, etc. Just dont buy their appliances.

Buyer beware!!! After owning this French door refrigerator for a little over a year, there started to be water buildup under pantry drawer. The water would then freeze and would prevent the drawer from opening. I began the weekly game of trying to thaw the ice in order to use the pantry drawer. The ice would come out in big sheets. Big enough that while pulling a chunk out of the fridge, a piece broke off and dented my appliance. And because there was nowhere for the water to go, it started seeping out onto my hardwood floors which caused them to hoover up. After about 3 months of this NONSENSE I had it serviced. The repairman had fixed NUMEROUS Samsung French door refrigerators with this same issue. SHAME ON YOU Samsung for allowing a fridge to be engineered this way... Thought you were smarter than that. Since that service call I have had to get my ice maker serviced 2 times, dishwasher serviced 2 times and washing machine 2 times. All Samsung appliances. Buyer beware!

After many hours on the phone with Samsung with no response or help hired a repair service of our choice, since the Samsung approved repair company was not able to fix for 2 1/2 weeks and also was rated very poorly. Like everyone else, I have a Samsung microwave that is less than 2 years old and having a keypad problem. It starts up on its own, runs the Baked Potato program and eventually stops with the code -SE- displayed. I need to unplug the unit, let it sit for awhile, and then plug it back in to get it working again. I agree that Samsung needs to do something about this. The problem is too widespread. I wont be buying any Samsung items until they convince me that they can make good on fixing their problems.

I'll probably buy the boxcar next week, or maybe a new train entirely, but I digress. The tv is truly breathtaking and after my hired help had it working, my monocle fell right off my face and would have shattered had I not been able to catch it in my top hat before it fell to the ground. I have had this Samsung refrigerator (model RF266AERS) for at least 10 years. It has a one touch pure water dispenser (I chose the inside dispenser) and it’s easy to change the water filter which doesn’t take up much space in the back of the fridge. It also lets you know when to change the filter. The bins are removable and the shelves are adjustable. The freezer bin holds a ton of food and I chose to have the ice machine inside the freezer which makes ice on a regular basis. It is easy to clean both inside and out. Its design is a very pretty. I have never had to get it repaired, so I never had to use the warranty. It runs very quiet. All in all, I would give it a 10!

On May 12, 2016 my Samsung side-by-side refrigerator (model RSG257AAWP) that I purchased on April 14, 2012 stopped cooling. It has been an absolute nightmare trying to work with Samsung to have someone come out to diagnose the problem. It is now May 23, 2016 and I am still calling Samsung trying to find resolution. I was assigned to a repair service (Home Service Network) on May 14th. On May 16th they informed me that they dont have any technicians that could work on my refrigerator. I called Samsung back and my ticket was reassigned to another repair service (Priceless Appliance Services). I was told that companies are to respond in 1-2 business days. I waited. Nothing! I called Samsung again. My ticket was reassigned again (Mr. Appliance of Central Maryland) and again I did not receive a call from this service repair company. When I called Samsung once more, today May 23rd, my ticket is showing that its assigned to Priceless and not even the last company that I was given so it appears that my ticket was not even reassigned. Now Im starting to think that the Samsung warranty policy is a sham. If they refer a customers ticket to enough non-responsive repair companies, at some point, especially with such an essential appliance as a refrigerator, the customer will become totally frustrated and seek to resolve the issue with a non Samsung repair service. This deems your appliance out of warranty even if you only have someone diagnose but not fix the product that you have so desperately tried to seek help for from Samsung. BE AWARE! BE CAUTIOUS! Its probably best to NEVER, EVER purchase Samsung appliances. In the future, I will only purchase appliances made in the USA.

We purchased a Samsung glass cooktop stove. Three months after our purchase the glass top cracked. The crack occurred the second time I used the burner. I noticed the crack the next morning when I went to dust the cooktop. A KitchenAid repair person told us, that this happens occasionally with glass cooktops. Glass can have bubbles, etc... This repair is covered under their warranty. Samsung however considers this physical damage and their warranty does not cover physical damage. Nothing bumped the stove or fell on top of the cooktop. We have had a glass cooktop for twenty years, so it took me a while to understand what this meant.Regardless of what is wrong or if there is a defect in the product that results in physical damage, then it is not warranted. I am amazed that they can get away with this. I will NEVER buy another Samsung product and plan to report this to every consumer protection agency I can reach. This is definitely a buyer beware organization. As another reviewer said, their warranty is useless.

Our 3 year old Samsung side-by-side with all the bells and whistles stopped cooling, both freezer and refrig side. After dealing with the noise created by freezing up inside freezing and fan hitting the ice, we learned to defrost it for a while then it worked. But now, after turning back on after defrosting a FROST FREE unit, the whole thing stopped working. Called Samsung and was told no warranty left on this appliance. Their repair company would take several days to come out, so I had my own repair person come look at it. They replaced several things, then came to the conclusion it was the compressor. This person even went online and discovered that there was supposed to be a 5 year warranty on the compressor that no one at Samsung told me about. I called back to Samsung to complain that I was technically deceived by not being told about the warranty. They said Too bad my technician had voided that warranty by trying to fix the thing and they would not honor any part of warranty. I am furious! I spoke with the highest department I could get to in Samsung with no success. I even asked for a CEO or someone like that who would listen to my complaint: Nothing. Now In stuck with a 300 pound paperweight~ wonder if it worth putting a new compressor in it since nearly everything else has been replaced? Dont Buy Samsung Appliances!!

Samsung Model RF32FMQDBSR/AA. I purchased the Samsung 4 door refrigerator around 8 months ago. I follow all the instructions regarding the ice maker when I went on vacation. When I got back home again I check my owners manual and follow the instructions with the ice maker. After 24 hours there was no ice make yet. I check the manual again to make sure I did everything I was supposed to do. Once again I waiting and no Ice. After giving it a week and having the Ice maker not making any Ice, I contact Samsung. The lady at the phone ask me for the model number, my phone, and located the account then she proceed to asked me what was the issue. I explained it to her that the Ice maker was not working that I try everything in the manual but it did not work. I also explain that I follow the instructions to removed the Ice bucket, however the bucket wasnt coming out, at all. She ask me some questions about if the Ice light was lit up on the door and if said off the Ice maker wasnt going to make ice. No kidding Sherlock. Im not a moron. I calmly explain to her that after a week of not having Ice I turn it off. No sense on having the feature on if is not working. She then advised me that if it was something they cant fix by phone but they needed to send a repair person then I was going to get charge for the visit. But if the repair person was needed then the visit was free of charge. I was told that a service representative was going to called me within 2 business days. She proceed to gave me the service number reference that I needed to gave the tech (**). As she told me I received a call from the service tech to schedule the appointment. However the service tech was from Oklahoma and Im in Pennsylvania. The tech was sorry for the misunderstanding, it wasnt his fault. I contacted Samsung again and I explain to the male representative the issue with the address and I gave him my reference number. The gentlemen proceed to tell me that my refrigerator didnt have warranty. Wait what happens in 3 days? I explained that it when I spoke with the lady that gave me the reference number my refrigerator had warranty. Well Im not one to argue with customer service representative since they are provided a script on what to said. I told him Just give me the tech number please. He did gave me a service representative from Reading PA. I called them to schedule an appointment and when I gave the lady who answer the phone the reference number. She proceed to tell me I needed to provide for them the receipt of purchased, that the visit was going to be $70 plus labor and parts. I again, didnt want to argue another customer service representative. I make the schedule, however after thinking about it I cancel it. Who knows what they are going to charge me. What happen to the warranty? This refrigerator is Top Samsung Product with a cost of almost 4,000 dollars. If Im going to paid Im choosing who I let in my house. I have Samsung products all over my house since I believed to stick with one company, washer, dryer, phone, microwave on and on and on. I have never contacted Samsung for service. The first time that I need service They give me a hard time, thats not good customer service. Since Im selling my house and moving out of state soon, instead of paying a repair person I will sell ALL my Samsung electronic and start new with another company. Before you spend that much money on a Samsung product make sure they are not going to give you the runaround.

I bought this for my 2yr old Rottweiler, Tika. She loves watching Animal Planet, but I don't feel comfortable sharing the one located in our grand cinema room anymore since she growled at me aggressively when I tried to change the channel last time. They say compromise is the secret to any relationship ( including your pets), so the solution was actually really really simple: purchase the same TV again for her room. As a satisfied customer, I can now safely watch my football and my dog can continue to discover her true roots, and how humankind has bread her species over generations into a docile commodity you can put a leash on and assign a name to. Overall, it's a great TV. I was seriously considering a Christie projector at first, but the cost of ownership was a little too high for me (e.g. bulbs and maintenance).

I purchased a 4 year warranty (what a waste of money). So the last time I complained about the scratches on the part where you fill your glass with water and ice and Samsung said that is cosmetic and nothing can be done. I suppose you should be using paper cups to fill your water instead of glass. The refrigerator already looks like it is about 20 years old. The first month the front plastic on the tray under the freezer compartment split down the middle while it was being wiped off. It was as if it had dry rotted. In the first three months the door started to bubble and this is the one that has the stainless steel look. It also runs very hot and for an inverter type, the electric bill has not gone down at all. Have been trying to find the year of manufacture and cant seem to get any answers. Of course this is where the bulk of the expense will be. The woman I spoke with (Michelle) acknowledged issues with other models but said that they have no evidence of flaws with the SMH9207ST. This wasnt a cheap microwave. Rather I spent the extra money hoping that I was getting a superior product. Samsung RF32FMQDBSR fridge wont cool, freezer fine - Paid over 3K for good looking fridge. We had a $300 fridge for 16 years that kept our food and beverages cold without a single problem, so I did not think it possible for a refrigerator to not do the very things it exists to do. But Samsung cracked that nut. Ice maker immediately made ice dam at back of drawer and froze the ice bucket in place. 5+ service calls on a brand-new fridge, never got it working. Tech said we could keep trying but it was a design flaw. Used cardboard and duct tape to seal it off. After almost 2 years fridge stopped cooling. Warm beer and spoiling milk and food. Temp on the door reads 34 degrees. Bought thermometer, steady 50 degrees. Tried all the fixes I could find online, no effect. Service call, cleaned compressor area. No effect. Read reviews: sounds like its a problem with coolant leak of the R600 coolant (2 different kinds of coolant for the 2 fridge compressors) which isnt sold in the US and is highly flammable, and will leak out again even if I replace it with the other coolant called R134A. Finding and fixing the leak means tearing out the guts.Fridge is so new and so expensive Im tempted to try to fix it. But I reviewed many posts -- it would be good money after bad. Looking for a free fridge on Craigslist. Consumer Reports highly recommended this fridge when I bought it. But it is a complete POS. Dont buy a Samsung anything. Their fridges dont refrigerate and their phones explode.

It just turned 5 years and of course warranty expired. Just one month after the warranty expired the fridge part stopped working. Called Samsung - they sent a technician who said it is the compressor and due to the special gas in it we cannot fix it. It simply cannot be fixed due to that special gas since no one is licensed/certified to handle that gas.

This Samsung refrigerator is absolutely the worst on the market! We have spent more in repairs than the Refrigerator cost new. Starting with freezing up four times, to broken plastic parts, broken glass, and now a broken bottom freezer drawer. I would avoid at all cost. A pile of GARBAGE. If you could rate zero stars, that is what I would rate it.

We put the oven, not even a year old on self clean mode and went to bed. There was a huge explosion and the outer glass shattered and blew 20 feet in all directions. Two weeks later we are still getting up glass and also have had small slivers in our feet and hands. There is a company tag inside the oven draw that states it was sold in Feb. 2013. The Model number is: JOVO7DDD201222A and the SN NE595ROABSR. The report transaction number is: **. The last one was: **. They first said it was out of warranty and then the last call they said it was from exterior blows. No service person has inspected the door or the thermostat.

I purchased our Samsung French Door Refrigerator from Lowe’s under 2 years ago. Approximately 6 months ago I noticed what looked like possible spaghetti sauce splatter on the front of the fridge and when I went to wipe it off realized it was rust. At the time the refrigerator was approximately 1.4 years old, had been kept inside the entire time and we cleaned as instructed by the Lowe’s employee when it was purchased. We did not purchase the extended warranty but I called the Samsung Helpline thinking they might offer to replace the doors as rusting doors seems like a clear manufacturers defect in my opinion. I was told that this fell under cosmetic issues and therefore there was nothing they could do for us except offer to send a technician to look at it. So, I still have a rusting fridge in my kitchen. Then 3 weeks ago I came down to our kitchen to leave for work to find our kitchen floor absolutely flooded. The ice maker valve had apparently broken causing our water supply to kick water out of the fridge into the kitchen while we slept. The first technician (suggested by Samsung Helpline) could not identify the problem but said he would replace the inlet valve, ice maker and mother board for approximately $450.00. Not to mention we had to pay him $45 simply to come inspect the refrigerator. We chose not to have him touch the fridge since his shotgun approach to the problem did not make sense to us but were out the $45.00. The second technician identified the valve as the problem and between part/labor we paid about $240.00. So far no more floods and the ice maker is still working. We purchased this refrigerator because of its nice appearance and based on our understanding of Samsung’s reputation which I thought would translate to a reliable product - a decision I clearly regret. Im clearly disappointed in Samsung as I had faith their product would be more reliable and/or their service more professional. Im also disappointed in myself because the refrigerator I purchased 15 years from a different company and havent had to put a cent into is purring right along in my garage and regret not showing more loyalty to that company.

My 4 year old Samsung French Door Refrigerator stopped cooling. As it was a Saturday night, I called a local repair company who came out and replaced the electronic control boards. That didnt fix the issue, so I called Samsung and found out that the unit has a 5 year warranty on the closed system. They gave me a repair ticket and said that the service provider would call in 24 to 48 hours later. The service center rejected the ticket because it doesnt do that repair. I have so far called the service center 4 times and have been escalated to the Executive Customer Relations department. Each time they have sent the ticket to the same service center and it has been cancelled. I have tried to escalate further but the Executive Customer Relations department is apparently a series of call centers with no centralized structure, no consistency and no accountability. I am giving up on Samsung at this point and I will never buy another one of their products. It appears to me that the warranty is a sham because they do not have anyone to actually do the repair they warranty.

Full disclosure, this is all on me. Now that Ive seen how poor their service is, Im looking at all these reviews, and thinking I should have done this prior to purchasing. But I digress, I bought $10k worth of their top of the line appliances in the new black stainless finish. Almost immediately, the ice maker is dripping water and quits making ice. Samsung sends a tech and first thing he says is that these units are garbage and that the $300 part that is broken after only a month will break every year, as long as I own it. Not exactly what I wanted to hear!So after months of back and forth with the worst customer service dept I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with, Samsung says they will replace the fridge. They send it via freight with delivery guys who have no idea how to install. So they tear the ** out of the old one, beat up my house, and ultimately cant get the new one in. So they leave me with the old one that is now beat up scratched all to hell, and not working. Samsung says no problem, well send another! What!?! What about the brand new one you already sent on the truck? And the brand new one you just trashed?? They couldnt care less.So I finally get Home Depot to replace the fridge, and then, while wiping the appliances down with a microfiber towel, a chunk of the finish comes off the range. So I call Samsung back and they tell me, No prob, well send a tech to fix. They set an appointment for the next week and I wait. Appointment time comes and goes and no tech. I call back, they say, We cancelled because youre out of warranty. Wait, these are only a few months old! Oh, yeah, I guess youre right... Ok, well send a tech. Cancelled.I get a supervisor on the line, and she says, It keeps getting cancelled because its cosmetic, and thats not covered under your warranty. So the paint can just fall off and thats not covered!?! So I get really pissed and she says, OK, well send a tech, but if there is any sign that you caused the paint to chip, then youre paying for it. Fine, agreed. Get an email the next day, Your service appointment has been cancelled. I am literally speechless...these appliances look great, but they are total garbage. But the company is worse. Save yourself a LOT of aggravation...avoid Samsung.

Fridge - weve had problems from the start. Samsung has sent local technicians to fix it 5-6 times now, including the main computer board and the compressor (twice). The last time the tech came, he said he doesnt know what else to do, and recommends it be replaced. Samsung has denied this and says it is repairable. So we are stuck between Samsung saying its fixable and the tech saying he doesnt know what to do. THIS IS HOW WARRANTIES WORK???I have been patient for six months trying to deal with this, but Im done. I am telling everyone I know to never buy a Samsung appliance ever again. Oh, and last week our dishwasher broke. We bought it just under a year ago, but they dont even read emails. I clearly explained that 06-10-2014 meant OCTOBER 6th, and NOT June 10. But they didnt even read the email I sent with the receipt and simply denied the claim, so now Im having to deal with that. Every single miscommunication costs a week in terms of getting repairs done in a timely fashion. Oh, and if Samsung EVER tells you they will call you back in 24 hours, DO NOT believe it. They have told us that 5-7 times during these processes and never once did they do so.

We have a very bad experience with the service of Samsung Refrigerator. It took nearly a week for them to visit our place to check on the complaint made. We had to follow with the service centre every day and request for a call back from the supervisor. The reason for the delay was lockdown. We were already on phase 4 of lockdown and most of the technicians had started moving around. They checked on our refrigerator and was told the problem could be either with the compressor or the inverter board and that they have to place an order for it and it will take 3 days...They finally came after 4 days and they said both and the board had to be replaced. It worked and the technician hardly stepped out and the same problem came up. We tried contacting the technician ..who said he cant come back immediately and he came the following day and said there was a problem with the compressor again... Mind you.. it was a new compressor ...and again they have to place another order and it will take another 3 days. The problem is they will not answer your calls nor will they update you on whats happening. The call center is pathetic. I have been calling them for the last 2 days requesting that we need to speak the supervisor. They say they will arrange for a callback but no one calls. Till now I have not received any call from them. Product may be good but if the service is bad.... We will never want to recommend this brand to anyone... Very poor response and poor service. Higher authorities need to check on this and address this issue immediately especially when there is so much competition. We have been without a refrigerator in this peak summer for nearly 2 weeks now. Dont know how long more we have to wait..??

Purchased my Samsung electric range in January of 2015. It has been a year and a half, and the Samsung silver letters located right under the panel that contains the clock, baking settings, and so forth have peeled completely off, the white circles on top of the range that denote where to place the pan/pot are fading. I also noticed that the small black circles that indicate if it is, for example, front right or front left on the range are fading and the black lines around the knobs are fading as well. I was very excited to get this new appliance, and have tried to keep the stovetop as clean as possible. I have only used recommended cleaners for this kind of range, Needless to say, I now have permanent burn spots and I cannot get rid of them. When I clean now, I have to be extremely careful. Im afraid that the fading will continue and my range that is less than two years old will look like its 10 years old. Highly disappointed and will probably not buy a Samsung range again.

Four days ago, wife went for ice cream and all items in freezer were melted, ice cubes and all frozen items melted. There are only 2 adults in this house and we eat out all the time so this appliance is not abused, opened and closed 500 times a day by 5 kids. Wife calls Samsung and gets the run around from someone reading a card...do this, do that, and next day, thanks to the idiot, the temperature had gone up another 10 degrees. We called again and again, got another idiot reading off another card that could not give any usable information, and the best they could do is set us up with a generic all-brand appliance repair private contractor whom, after checking the c/os against him, sounded shady.I cancelled the call and took a bullet with Sears $275 plus tax $294 on top of the ton of money this hunk of Asian crap cost me (the contractor grade American fridge I got with the townhouse was working fine for 28 years until I unplugged it the day this crap came into my house). So much for Asian technology, and do not expect any red carpet treatment from Samsung CSRs!!!!! I am so sorry I bought this!!! And will never call Samsung again. As absurd as it may sound, a Honda service writer may have offered better information as what to do to check the appliance!

Had ice maker completely replaced, then 8 months after replacement it stopped working again! This time only the auger motor had to be replaced as no ice would come thru the chute...repairman replaced and till no ice. He had to return this week and had to replace the auger motor again as the one installed last week was broken! This is a total of 4 auger motors on this refrigerator in less than 2 years. For the cost of this appliance we feel this is totally unacceptable. Will never purchase a Samsung refrigerator again!

I was told someone was going to call me within 48-72 hours while they processed the issue. I never got a call. So I kept calling back once or twice a week, and each time I voiced my problem, and that I had already called, and that I was waiting for a replacement. Every time it was a different representative, so I had to explain myself every single time. I let them know that I just want it replaced. They tell me I understand your frustration, Im trying to help you resolve this issue but its a lie, nothing gets done. Im now on week six of trying to STILL replace my brand new broken dishwasher.

I would never recommend Samsung products and the customer service is completely lame. I have a Samsung washing machine that had a recall because the drum wobbled so much. It wobbled so much that it loosened a hose and poured water all over my house…. My laundry is on my second level and I have a cat walk that water poured down into my living room and hallway on my first level and ran through my ceiling on my first level and through my walls down to my basement…leaving water spots on my first level ceiling and damaging several ceiling tiles in my finished basement. I didn’t notice all of the damage and the damaged tiles in the basement until months later when I had another issue with the washing machine and Samsung sent a third-party service company out here to repair it. They repaired the machine and left. Unfortunately, the service company called, Unique Repair (who I would never recommend, as they do not stand behind their work) managed to forget to connect the hose, which led to another incident of water pouring from my second level down my first level and through my walls to the basement. Fortunately, I was able to get the service techs back quickly to stop the machine and drain it, although the damage had already been done. We went into the basement; the service tech also taking his own photos. This second time around the water even damaged more basement ceiling tiles and left stains on my first level ceiling. Both companies, the service company and Samsung are trying to put the blame on each other. How lame of Samsung, since it is Samsung’s faulty washing machine, under warranty and Samsung sent the third party out here to represent them. The first time it happened it was solely on Samsung. The second time on the repair company. Either way, somebody should be responsible for the damage caused in my house. I have suggested to both companies that they split it, but they do not respond and or communicate with each other. Samsung does not stand behind their products. I am an innocent consumer that has been extremely inconvenienced twice by this Samsung washing machine and damage caused to my home, and Samsung support has been completely lame. Nonresponsive and not willing to provide any resolution. I would never recommend purchasing from Samsung. The last I spoke to Samsung customer support she was closing my case, I had no previous knowledge that my case was being closed, because it had been two weeks and she wanted me to provide quotes for the repair. During the world crisis going on it was difficult to get someone out here to quote me on the repair. Actually, It was against the law at the time, as nonessential workers would be fined if working during that time. I finally provided her with one quote and waiting to get another, so she would reopen the case, and she has not responded to me. I’ve reached out multiple times with no response. Seriously, what kind of company operates like this? I am a business owner myself and I would never treat my clients/customers this way. I stand behind my work. I’ve had to spend numerous hours dealing with both companies and getting nowhere. When I did nothing to cause this situation. I’m sure they are hoping to wear me down.

Glass top extremely difficult to clean. After 2 weeks I returned to Lowes where I purchased it to ask if the glass top was made differently. They recommended a certain cleaner. I had a GE glass top for 15 years before this Samsung and it was never this difficult to clean. Then three months later I noticed a very small crack on the glass top. I called Lowes and they only cover for 30 days because I didnt buy the extended warranty. I called Samsung and sent photos but no response. I cant believe the money I paid for this Samsung stove. The top seems to be made differently. The burner areas look like they have rust on them and burn marks. It looks like I never clean the stove but truthfully that seems to be the only thing I do is clean the stove top. I have tried all glass top cleaners and none seem to work. I hate this stove and recommend anyone that wants to buy a samsung NOT to. It looks awful in my kitchen. Samsung and Lowes dont seem to care about it. They think cause there is a small crack that it was my fault. I swear I did not drop or bang on my new stove to make this crack. My Samsung fridge quit cooling at 8 months old. I called Samsung for a repair and they fixed it after 3 repair companies coming out. The first two weren’t qualified to repair sealed system units. Finally got the sealed system replaced and it failed 30 days later. I spent countless hours on the phone with Samsung trying to get a refund. After four months with a too warm fridge, and 4-5 hours a week on the phone with Samsung, sending documentation over and over as they continually “lost” documents emailed and faxes, I finally got my refund. After all my haggling, I discovered that tens of thousands have had the same experience with Samsung.

Purchased Samsung refrigerator April of 2015 and with 16 months unit is not cooling. On July 11th, 3 days past, when Samsung authorized repair came out and instantly diagnosed unit unrepairable. He issued me a ticket number and told me to contact Samsung electronics and they are aware of the issue and they will inform me on procedure of getting a reimbursement. 4 business days later and no response. 6 days since initial default of unit and no light at the end of the tunnel. Extremely disappointed with Samsung.
