So sad. Built a beautiful home almost 2 years ago (June 2015). Was so excited to have a nice kitchen. We decided on a Samsung suite for the kitchen. The problems started with our dishwasher. Didnt clean the dishes and smelled of garbage every time you opened it. Had numerous tech calls to fix never was. My last straw was when they didnt show up for another appointment after taking an afternoon off from work. We replaced it with a Bosch after only 8 months. My microwave doesnt turn. It used to but we discovered (after warranty was up) that the plate feet were too big for the part on bottom of microwave to turn it. So the refrigerator. Small issue but the bottom deli tray cover comes off every single time you open the drawer. It is too small for the drawer.Called Samsung and they sent us another one. Same issue. Go into Best Buy and look at the floor model and it works and fits perfectly. Not sure why ours does that. Last month noticed that the same drawer was stuck. Pulled it out and there is a buildup of ice on bottom. Cleaned it all up and has happened again. I am sitting here with two coolers, a dorm refrigerator and my RV refrigerator filled and my Samsung unplugged and empty. I have read that this is an issue. Almost to point of just wanting a new refrigerator. I wish I had the money to replace right now. Dont want to deal with Samsung products again. (Also have a 55 Samsung flat screen and the picture turns off randomly and you have to shut it all down and restart).

Have a Samsung side by side frig model RF23J9011SR. Had work under the manufacture warranty done and also several times under the extended warranty and still the ice maker leaks water and freezes up all the time. Contacted Samsung service and was told I need to go to the place which sold me the appliance to resolve the issue, which was Lowes. I was told by Lowes I need to contact Samsung. So now I am going back to Lowes.

Do not be fooled into buying any Samsung appliance. We bought a French door refrigerator and have had problem after problem. Ice maker doesnt work and thats after spending $600+ in repairs after owning less than 18 months. It makes LOUD noises - continuously! The water runs from the ice maker into the drawer and interior of the refrigerator causing everything you put in it to be wet. Samsung customer service DOES NOT EXIST. If you spend your money on this product you are throwing it away!

Bought a brand new Samsung refrigerator 3 months ago. This past Friday it died. Lost a fridge full of food and ruined my hardwood floor from all ice melting. Called and they couldnt get out til Monday. They said I would receive a call later that day with an appointment time. Never got a call. They showed up without notice on Monday morning. Tech said it needed major repairs and they wouldnt have the parts til Friday. Thats 8 days without a fridge. Called Samsung call center to complain and they didnt offer anything to help us. Asked to speak with a manager. The response received was you are unable to talk to a manager. Asked for an email address for a manager. Nope not an email address either. What type of call center or any business doesnt have a manager on duty. That is an absolute lie. They just dont want to be bothered. We planned on remodeling our kitchen with all Samsung appliances. Not any longer. DO NOT BUY ANY SAMSUNG APPLIANCES!

Microwave model ME18H704SFS and Samsung Dishwasher purchased Dec 2015 and installed March 2016. Began use then. Dishwasher was a lemon immediately with an electronic board error E11. Samsung warranty sucks! Getting thru for help and not will to replace unit just to fix which wasnt possible. Terrible customer service. Dishwasher never worked from day 1. Microwave also lasted less than a year after installed. Feb 2016 went to use popcorn sensor feature and lo and behold received that E11 error! Not sure if we had ever used that feature before since it was at a cabin. That is used mostly in summer. However, tried all other sensor features and they all give same error now! Microwave still runs on regular time but I purchased this model specifically because I like the sensor feature. Called the number and was told they would fix same as the dishwasher thing. The repair company called and was scheduling to come fix as this is also a built-in unit and the charge was going to be 200 to come plus additional beyond that. I learned to ask because of dishwasher incident. They said no warranty coverage after Samsung told me yes. I decided to not waste any more time on this because I could buy a different microwave cheaper than wasting my time and energy trying to get it covered which is what Samsung hopes you do! Dont BUY Samsung appliance! I am waiting for my oven and fridge to have problems since I bought a suite of them for a new kitchen. I had originally liked a range and that is why I went with Samsung. Never had problems with that so when we remodeled a cabin I went with a Samsung suite of products purchased at Lowe’s. Got a great buy! I did not purchase the Lowes warranty. Next time I did because of all the issues with these appliances! Samsung warranty forget it!! Buy the store warranty. 1/2 of my Samsung appliances are garbage that I replaced with American made Maytag Dishwasher and Whirlpool microwave. Lowe’s made the dishwasher purchase right and took it back even though I did not buy their warranty - they were awesome! Thank you Lowe’s. I purchased a new suite of appliance this year Feb 2016 for my remodel of townhouse and will see if those appliances last longer than a week or year. Learned my lesson, I took back another Samsung microwave same model that had been purchased because the first one is crap and traded it also for Whirlpool. So now I have Whirlpool appliances from Lowe’s and I will report if I have any issues on them! I spent the extra for the warranty 3-year but I think it will be well worth it. I have little faith that appliances are made to last anymore! Good luck if you purchase Samsung! I will never buy Samsung again - not anything with that brand name on it.

First Samsung doesnt deserve 1 star, and Pacific sales where I bought this isnt much better. I bought the top end Samsung appliances because I was told these were great and the service would be much better than the service reputation they have on other appliances. Well I guess better than bad is still bad. Had the micro/oven installed in Feb of 2018 and its been a nightmare ever since. More than a dozen e-mails and same # of phone calls, three times they tried to replace the door, first time repairman brought the wrong item, the second time the store called me to pick up the new door and it was the wrong door, this last time two service men came out and again the wrong door was delivered. Dont bother calling the service center. They are totally useless. My contractor cracked my Samsung cooktop and we tried working with the service department for over 5 months to get a replacement part of new unit to be covered by my contractor (not under the warranty), again it was a total joke, dont have the parts so My contractor replaced it with another brand. I would die and go to hell before I bought another Samsung appliance. Please learn from my mistake and buy any brand but Samsung.

We purchased a Samsung French Door Refrigerator from Lowes with an extended warranty for five years. After two months, we had to call repair service because there was no ice. Once the item is sold, Lowes refers all responsibility to their (I quote) We have contacted Service Advantage with this issue. A&E Factory Service is the service provider and will be contacting you for a resolution within 5-7 days. Today is the 7th day and no response. We have had 7-8 service calls on this refrigerator 7 for the same problem. When we called for service the second time, Lowes informed us that the Service technician would determine whether or not the service call is covered under the warranty, this made us hesitant to keep calling on the same problem. We still have no ice and only promises from Lowes that Service Advantage would contact us. (Isnt that similar to asking the fox to check the hen house to see if any chickens are missing?) We contacted Service Advantage 8 times, repairs made 8 times, nothing worked. We were told by Lowes store manager that after 7 calls on the same problem the item would be declared a lemon. Samsung Refrigerators are beautiful to look at, but are totally unreliable and everyone that you talk to that owns one says they have problems with the ice maker.

DMT800RHS - Dont purchase this item if you have Granite countertops. They only make top mounting brackets. They do not make side mounting brackets. This leaves the dishwasher unstable which continues to cause other issues.. This seems to me to be a design flaw! We purchased our Samsung Dishwasher from Best Buy in February of 2014 as part of a 4 appliance suite for our kitchen remodel. BIG MISTAKE! We did not buy the extended warranty through Best Buy. The dishwasher started to fail (would not complete the cycle) in February of 2015. It was still barely under warranty so Samsung sent VA Electronics out to repair this problem. Worked until Sept 2015 when the same issue came back and the front door started to leak. Had to pay VA Electronics $99 to come back out to repair the problem, but it just started leaking again! Never buy a Samsung Dishwasher.

$2900 Samsung french door refrigerator. Ice maker failed a little over a year after we bought it. I would have to remove the ice bin and use a blow dryer to melt ice buildup internally in the back of the freezer for about an hour each month to get the ice maker to make ice. Customer service was no help. Technician said it would cost $500 to fix. Refrigerator stopped cooling after two and one-half years. It would cost nearly $1000 to repair. Replaced it and will never buy another Samsung product.

Will never buy a product made by Samsung ever again. Purchased a fridge 4 years ago and had problems 2 months outside the warranty period. Called Samsung customer service. Was told that we would have to bear the cost ourselves. They will notify the technician and he will call us the same day. 3 days later no contact. Spoke with Samsung again... useless. Fan iced up and fridge stopped being cooled so all food went bad. The technician (we found ourselves) that serviced it said it was a design flaw and he had seen a lot of these problems in Samsung fridges. Samsung have no idea of customer service. Today our fridge finally died - both fridge and freezer too warm. Went out today and had to buy another fridge/freezer..... WILL NEVER RECOMMEND OR EVER BUY SAMSUNG PRODUCTS AGAIN.

I bought this fridge as part of a whole kitchen package when I remodeled 2 years ago. Im not sure it ever cooled as cold as previous fridges, but this one is different. The controls are different, very different. Gone is the dial that goes from off to high cool. A panel of buttons and lights, hold this button down for three seconds for this, 5 seconds for that, hold down both at the same time for 5 seconds for that, this is on when that light is off. If it stops cooling it might have gone back to show room mode etc.The fridge might run fine but I am unable to find the right variation of buttons and lights to push for how long at the right time. The manual and online is no help at all. There doesnt seem to be a Samsung rep to call, Ive decided to have it hauled off and buy something with an on and off switch. The fins might be clogged up but they are inaccessible for home owners. Repair people want $200 just to show up and that does not apply to repair. Extra to diagnose. It would be very easy to pay more for repair than I paid for the fridge. They seem to deny there is a warranty or it would apply to my issue.

On August 2, 2018 a complaint was filed with New Jerseys Better Business Bureau against Samsung. The same day the BBB forwarded my complaint to Samsung and to my surprise the same day we received a phone call from Jamie ** from the Office of The President. Mrs. ** set up an appointment with Service Quick to repair the product for August 6, 2018.On August 6, 2018 I received a phone call from the technician assigned to my repair. Before even showing up at my house he told me he didnt have the parts to repair the refrigerator. He also stated that he was unaware of the refrigerator not working. He stated that the compressor issue is outside of his expertise and would need to be rescheduled. We had to wait another week without a refrigerator and I also needed to request another day off of work to accommodate the repair.I reached out to Mrs. ** to receive guidance because of the above miscommunication. Several phone calls and e-mails were sent to Mrs. ** and were never answered. Why reach out to someone to help solve a problem if you are only going to ignore them. It makes the situation much worse than better. Our refrigerator was repaired on Monday August 13, 2018. On Wednesday August 15, 2018 we purchased groceries. We woke up this morning to the freezer failing two days after the repair and losing all groceries that were in the freezer for a second time. Service Quick is wanting us to wait additional time to schedule the repair.During the conversation with Mrs. ** it was expressed that this was a one time accommodation to repair the unit. This ended up being a sealed system repair per the ticket. This is covered under the five year manufactured warranty per the technician and also our paperwork. So I am not sure what the one time accommodation is and why this is being treated as if Samsung is doing us a favor by fixing the product which is still under their manufactured warranty.I have already taken two days off of work between two technicians and now am being asked to take an additional day off of work. I need your assistance in getting someone out here to finalize this repair and/or replacement. Paperwork was given to the repairmen showing the ice-maker had been replaced (4) times previously. Now it has been replaced five times. This certainly falls up under Californias lemon law. As a consumer I have presented the product to the manufacturer or its representative so they could diagnose the defect and repair it. Along with the duty, as a consumer I have the right to expect the product will be repaired honestly and expeditiously. I have left prior to today a total of three telephone messages and three e-mails for Mrs.**. All have remained unanswered.

We have had two awful experiences with Samsung. We bought our first Samsung
We have had two awful experiences with Samsung. We bought our first Samsung French door fridge in 2016 and sometime while it was still under warranty I noticed the bottom of the left door was not sealing when it shut. Samsung didnt have any authorized service technicians in our area so they couldnt fix it. They told us we had to literally cut the cord and send them a picture of it so that we wouldnt be able to sell it or give it to someone else to keep using it. I told them I couldnt cut the cord as its the only fridge we have and we gotta store food somewhere. They finally gave in and paid us the value of the fridge. Which we then took and per the agreement with Samsung, we had to buy another Samsung fridge, went to an authorized Samsung dealer that said he serves our area and bought a different model: RF28JBEDBSG/AA/08. It worked great for a year or so until the warranty ran out and thats when we started having issues with the ice maker. It completely froze over, started leaking water out the hole when we tried getting ice and just completely stopped making ice. We called the dealer we had bought it from, they sent out their technicians to repair it and they like just some kids off the street who didnt have any training on such repairs. They took apart the ice maker and used a hair dryer to melt the iced over ice auger motor and ice maker assembly. While they were in the process of melting the ice inside the ice maker cabinet they heated it up too much, buckling the inside of the cabinet and melting a plastic tab up top at the back end of where the ice maker sits when its installed. So now the ice maker doesnt fit correctly. The technicians said they caulked the inside of the cabinet all the way around to seal it, but I could still see light coming through all along the left side. Couldnt really feel or see any caulk along the edge anywhere. They charged around $100 for this #repair! This only lasted for about 3-4 weeks and then started freezing up again. I called them again and they said theyd order us a replacement auger motor and ice maker for around $211. I brought it home and took apart my ice maker to replace it with the new parts they had just sold me. After all that hassle of taking it apart I find that they gave me the wrong ice maker! It was completely wrong. Way too short. I took it back and they gave me the right model ice maker. I then took apart my ice maker a second time and was able to replace it. This again only worked for a few weeks and then also started freezing over and doing what the original ice maker had done. Ever since Ive had to shut off the fridge, take the ice maker apart and thaw the whole ice maker and auger about every month and a half or two months. Ive contacted Samsung multiple times and they only tell me that its out of warranty, try to send out the same Samsung authorized shops technicians to #repair it (which I refuse to let this shop ever touch my appliances again since they screwed me over every time Ive dealt with them) or they give me a phone number to call Samsung to order parts to fix the ice maker. I am not spending any more of my own money on this piece of garbage and will never buy another Samsung refrigerator.

We bought the 345 Ltr RT 35 refrigerator in May 2010 in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, India. It was working well till May 2015. After which the lower door was not getting closed properly and defrost was not functional. After noting the problem, it was reported to the concerned authority and customer care number provided by Samsung in month of June. We were told to change the position, restart the refrigerator, which did not help. After persistent problem, it was again reported to customer care on 19th Sept. Again the executive told us to lift the lower door, but nobody visited our place. After repeated complaints, one of the technical person came to our place, changed the IC and told us that Your defrosting problem is solved, but door problem cannot be solved as the refrigerator purchase date is more than 5 years old. After pursuing the problem with customer care, we were told that the parts are not available and nothing can be done as company has stopped the production of said model. We have made several calls to customer care but the only answer we could get was, Sorry, we dont have the parts. Had it been before 5 years of date of purchase, we would have got the parts and not now after 5 years and 1 month; and now another version has come up from local dealer saying, It was the last piece of the lot. It was not told to us during purchase and now we are facing problems with the refrigerator, which are still unsolved and may not get solved considering the answers we are getting from customer care. Pathetic way of solving problems for a common man, who may have to put large part of his fortune into buying another refrigerator, which wont be Samsung anymore.

Company guys came several times to solve the problem but could not help. We repeatedly call Samsung. Like company does not care. We called outside company, P.C. Richard repair guy & again problem was lingering around. Last week, we called Samsung & ask for final help before we get rid of the dishwasher. Again, manager does not care for it. I guess Samsung does not care for their customers. We bought brand new dishwasher from P.C. Richard & they will haul this Samsung dishwasher & install the new Whirlpool one. Now onward, we are not buying Samsung or neither our friends.

We have a three-year-old Samsung RFG298AABP/XAA French Door Refrigerator. Had the repairman out twice because the refrigerator wasnt getting cold enough and there was virtually no ice production. It was deemed unrepairable by the repairman because it was leaking freon in a place where he could not fix it. He said Samsung should replace it with a new refrigerator.Samsung contacted me and said they estimated the original cost to be $1,874, but they would only reimburse me $1,300. Then I called the second time and they said no, I would get the entire $1,874. I went to the store to look at new refrigerators and got sticker shock. I could not come close to the same model for that price. I was appalled that after three years, and their unit being defective, I would only get $1,874 to replace the refrigerator.I emailed the company to complain and was told they would send it to a supervisor to see if they could accommodate me after I told them I checked prices and the model like the one I have ran $2,799 now. I have spoken two more times to their Executive Customer Service, and they are telling me I can only get $1,874. I feel they should compensate people the replacement value when their refrigerators are defective. In conclusion, I will NEVER purchase another item from Samsung.

I have an overhead fan and microwave by Samsung. (I also have Samsung fridge and stove. All three have given me problems.) The paint on the interior of the microwave is peeling off, especially under the glass turntable. The handle snapped off (cheap plastic part). Samsung wants 85$ for replacement handle which keeps breaking off! (Nice little money-maker you got going on Samsung)! Why dont you actually fix the problem?! I truly was shocked a thief not fixing his saving me so called money. Should have known when I asked for a receipt and he said they would mail it to me. For 220. Vann snapped the computer ice maker and did not wait even long enough to see if ice maker worked. It did not.Plus Vann said he would fix my ice maker on my Whirlpool. Supposedly wrote down info. He has never returned to put in the new ice maker I bought on the Samsung and never came on Whirlpool. Even told him to order parts. He vanished and I did not turn him in. I waited for receipt of my payment. Never came. Wake up Louies. That Vann guy is ruining your good recommendation I was given by one of your customers. There was always food on the dishes after washing and many of the items would have to be washed two or three times. We tried almost every detergent on the market all to no avail. Just recently October 2014 it stopped working all together. There is no water pumping up into unit, of course it is now out of warranty. I dont want to get this unit fixed since at its best it never worked very well. I would recommend that you avoid this companys dishwashers. This is in direct conflict with other products Ive purchased from them that work very well, most notably several large screen televisions.

I bought a Samsung fridge in October 2015. The freezer is on the bottom and the refrigerator is on the top. I get home today and everything in the freezer is melting. I called Lowes. They give me an 888 number and then I call it and they give me a repair center number that closes at 6. After 1 year for the price I paid I dont think I should have to be going through this. Not recommended to buy Samsung fridge. I will be reporting it to the Better Business Bureau. I have had results with them before.

Samsung is absolutely the worst company I have ever dealt with. The runaround is not unusual but outright lies which they refer to as misinformation. They offered me a store credit and went so far as to give me a number to fax my sales receipt to in order to facilitate said credit and later told me they dont even do store credits!!! Bought the dishwasher in 7/2017. Have had 3 repairs in 10 months and even when its working it does a terrible job and I want it removed and a refund. They absolutely refused despite repeated phone calls even up to someone at the office of the president who gave me the same line. NO REFUNDS, exchange only. No thank you. Absolutely disgusted with this company.

Purchased all new Samsung appliances for our kitchen. The Refrigerator failed within a less than a year. The dishwasher failed within a year and now has failed again. The response and service is very poor - that is saying kindly. I will not purchase another Samsung product ever again in my lifetime and will be telling as many other people to do the same. Canada should not allow any company to sell products to consumers in Canada who are not willing to have an office within Canada to assist those consumers. Shame on Samsung and all who work for this company. Should have bought from Sears, not Future shop. They are just as bad, or worse than Samsung because they are absolutely no help to anyone, unless you purchase insurance through them and then they pass it off on the insurance claims. The government is also not doing a very good job of protecting consumers from this sort of thing. I have read so many other stories from people who are facing the same troubles with Samsung products. Never again.

Got French Door fridge from Home Depot and just after warranty expired it started making noise... Below and behind. Called and was told compressor (which was still under warranty). Had service tech come out (cost $60) and he said valve noise was normal... All fridge compressors make it... Nothing can be done. Still annoyingly noisy when compressor comes on. Seems am stuck with it. Next time will buy some brand OTHER than Samsung and check consumer reviews first.

I bought this refrigerator because of the high tech features. For weeks I tried to sync my calendar from my phone to the refrigerator screen with no success. I admit I am not that savvy on tech, but I had two people who are and they gave up. I had the box for less than a year. The lock on the water/ice control comes on and you have to go through the screen to find the lock and unlock it. For the second time, the dispenser will not toggle from ice to water. The entire part was replace less than a month ago and I am having the same problem. I love the idea of high tech and the integration but clearly, if you cant get a Samsung phone to sync with the Samsung refrigerator there is a problem. This was NOT a cheap unit so I am frustrated to pay so much and have nothing but problems. The customer service is terrible. They always tell you to reboot the computer or turn off the refrigerator and refresh it by plugging it back in after a minute. Easier said than done. The refrigerator is in a cabinet and I have to roll it out and squeeze in to unplug it and plug it in again. I had a Kenmore for 15 years and never had to unplug it and plug it back in to get it to work. I am very dissatisfied with this appliance.

We replaced all our kitchen appliances two years ago with high end Samsung
We replaced all our kitchen appliances two years ago with high end Samsung stainless appliances. We researched various brands and based our decision on JD Powers, but also considered LG since both were rated highly. We also purchased with Lowes as they had high ratings. Unfortunately, we have had so many problems with the Samsung appliances, and the salesperson incorrectly sold us a 2-unit extended warranty instead of a 4-unit warranty. We have seen many more issues than what we experienced with our basic 10-year old white Whirlpool appliances that we replaced that were original to the house but otherwise functioned correctly. We purchased extended warranties and have contacted Samsung many times, and the issues do not get resolved. Often, the local repair company will argue that there is nothing they can do. Convection microwave: dead panel/completely inoperable. Dishwasher: multiple errors on control panel during cycles, does not clean, adjustable drawer holders have broken 8 times due to cracking with heat and we have to replace at our expense. Gas oven/range: will not cook foods correctly. Be sure you buy gas range with electric oven. Gas oven does not regulate correctly and always takes much longer than recipe calls for. Refrigerator: dual icemaker takes up nearly all the storage of going with larger unit; but otherwise, this has been the only Samsung appliance that has performed without failing during the first 2 years of ownership. We will avoid purchasing the so-called high end Korean appliances next time, and we will not purchase from Lowes again.

When I called the company to complain about the rust on the door of the dishwasher, I was told that it was cosmetic and not covered by the warranty, which I knew had expired. I was further told that it [the rust] was due to environmental elements. None of my other appliances, which, by the way are not Samsung, did not rust! 4 years ago we bought a Samsung French door fridge from the local Best Buy store. This summer the fridge started making loud noises like a fan rubbing at speed. Turns out it was due to ice build up on the back wall of the fridge compartment. We moved the contents to the 20 year old Amana fridge in the garage and defrosted the Samsung for the weekend. less than a week later it was all iced up again. Since Best Buy requires all our personal information just to talk to someone about how much it will cost to have a tech come out and service the fridge, we contacted a local repair shop and they said its a known problem and that the Samsung repair doesnt work so they were reluctant to even schedule a tech.A week later the water dispenser button broke and while trying to fix that we noticed the 800 number for Samsung. I called them and a very pleasant fellow after reviewing the photos I sent issued a one time free repair service. #**. 24 hours later they call to say there are no available service providers within a hundred miles. They suggest I call Samsung appliance service who tell me since its not the ice maker they wont repair it and I should just call a repair service on my own dime.So I have a Samsung fridge that ices up and is causing food to spoil. Up to a quart of water collects under the Cool Select Pantry tray, that is also cracked. A broken water dispenser and an all-round piece of junk for a fridge backed up buy a we dont give a darn manufacturer. Wish we had read the reviews before we bought this because like so many others I will NEVER recommend a Samsung appliance. Bad design and worse service. The Samsung experience.

I bought the Samsung electric range NE59J7630 1-1/2 years ago. It has the worst range top I have ever used. It is impossible to get a low simmer on the front burners. It can not be turned down low enough. I had the temperature modular replaced once, but it still can not be regulated low enough. This is either a very bad design flaw or the glass is not thick enough. The suggestion was heavy clad bottom pans, which I was already using. We purchased our Samsung RFG297AAWP French door refrigerator in June of 200
We purchased our Samsung RFG297AAWP French door refrigerator in June of 2009. When it was delivered and hooked up the freezer did not work. Three days later a new box was delivered and hooked up. About 2 years later the ice maker quit working and we discovered ice build up under the large deli drawer. We gave up on the ice maker because we knew that was a problem with a lot of refrigerators and started making ice in. We had a plumber come out and put a cutoff in the line to stop the water. He used a piercing type of cut off which did not work so still had water. Last week the freezer quit and we lost all the food. We had a repairman come out (Samsung recommended). He was quite good and only charged $40.00 but the bad news is that there are several computer boards on the back and after some research he found that other repair people had gone through the board changing and the freezer still did not work. We would have been out that expense and still no freezer. He would have changed out the boards for us but we still would have had the water problem in the fridge. It was 6 years old, and it was his belief that we had a blockage in the refrigerant in the freezer evaporator. The compressor was working fine for the evaporator for the refrigerator. Our last refrigerator was 10 years old, 6 years ago, and it is still going strong in my sisters basement where they use it to freeze their garden produce. I ordered a new refrigerator yesterday, not a Samsung and truly would not recommend Samsung refrigerators to anyone. I really cant believe that they are a refrigerator that is pushed by Best Buy, Lowes, Home Depot, etc.

Samsung mislead clients when they put label says 10 years warranty. When I called Samsung seeking for the help to fix the issue, here what I got! You as customer go bring a technician if you want! We can give you a technician number but all this is on your own cost. And if the technician give a report that the issue is in the compressor send us the tech report and we will send the part for you and you can install it in your own cost. Seriously what an after sell service! How this is called a service, you simply could make this clear as a label on the fridge and show it under the 10 years warranty label, dont keep fooling the clients. This is nothing but trash.

Our Samsung 26 cu ft french door refrigerator (RF267AERS) is only 4 years old and were shopping for a new one. The coils in the back of the fridge behind the plastic panel freeze up and block the fan. The fan gets louder and louder until we unload the whole thing and take an entire day to defrost it. Sometimes the ice on the coils does melt and then it flows down under the deli drawer and inside the deli drawer because of the frozen up drain hole (also behind the plastic panel). I often have to break up sheets of ice under the deli drawer as well. The seals on the fridge doors are already breaking too! I called Samsung and gave them my model number and told them the problem and they told me to call a certified repair company. From the research Ive done online that will cost me $300 and they will just do what we have done which is to defrost the coils, then it will just happen all over again. Ill never buy another Samsung.

I bought my a Samsung RS-261MDWP model # refrigerator about 3 years ago from Best Buy. It has been a nightmare. Within the first 6 months I had 5-7 service calls. Thank God I purchased the extended warranty. The ice maker went out, the display board stopped working, they had to replace the motherboard, and a couple other things. Finally, after about 3 months of nonsense and not getting all the repairs done in a timely fashion, I was so fed up that I just walked in to Best Buy and demanded they give me another refrigerator. Of course I got the story that it has nothing to do with them and I would have to call Samsung or their Geek Squad department at their toll free number. I demanded to speak with the store manager or someone in corporate. I told them I have had several different men in my house for the past 5-6 months because the 3rd party company they are using for repairs doesnt know what they are doing and keep sending different people which all say its something else every time. I finally got a higher up manager that agreed that this was ridiculous and gave me whole new refrigerator. It wasnt even 6 months before we had to have a service call on that one. I have even ignored some of the other problems just because I dont want to have to keep calling them because they put you through so much. Today I had no choice because it has begun to make so much noise, it gets louder than the television. I will never buy a Samsung again. It also has started to freeze up, meaning it locks us out from getting water or ice so we have to unplug it for about 1 min so it will reboot. I say its possessed.

After checking, the compressor is found busted and they would charge me USD150 for labor and for fixing the gas, which are not under warranty. When I queried Samsung about why their fridge died only after 2 years, instead of apologizing, the Samsung person retorted, we dont know the lifetime of our fridges. They should know. Its their product. They should have some sort of indication that this is a faulty fridge and they are doing what they can to rectify it. Saying they dont know simply takes them away from being accountable to make good products. Samsung is a horrible horrible brand, with absolutely, incredibly lousy customer service. I have spent over 4 hours in the past several days trying to get some resolve and get this... Samsung agrees the part was made different than the previous part (the one that, ahem, FIT YOUR REFRIGERATOR!), and now we are to PAY someone to come out and change our refrigerator filtration system to fit their defective parts. Unit continued to short cycle. Came out again said outdoor motherboard AND compressor overload were both bad...then outdoor blower motor was bad. They replaced all of those items. I have years of AC experience and told the KID that is not the problem. He leaves unit still short cycling so I finally called Manila again and told them MY diagnosis. After further discussion between themselves they agreed to send same KID out to replace the indoor thermistor. The KID damaged my casings on inside unit. Now unit is acting up again with about 3 weeks remaining on warranty. I told them they need to send someone else out as I had banned Mystic from coming inside the property again since he has really no idea what he is doing and no respect for someone elses property....I.e. We bought a Samsung Stove Top/Oven last September. On July 31st, a regulator malfunctioned which prevents the gas from turning off. We immediately called Samsung, which (after several phone calls) said that they would give a full refund (instead of paying for the repair). That was their choice, not ours. After two days with no response from Samsung customer service, I called back and (after 40 minutes of hold time... which has been a pretty standard amount of time to wait) I was told my picture of the receipt didnt capture the whole receipt and was asked if I could take it again. I did, sent it into the same email I sent the first and heard nothing for 2 days. I called and (after 40 minutes of hold time) they told me they didnt get it. I resent it and then it was verbally confirmed that they received it and it was adequate. We heard nothing for a day or two and I called back and (after 40 minutes of hold time) they told me it was in process. I explained that we were without an oven and they assured me they understood. Ive called back every 2 or 3 days for a month... always given the same promise that today, someone will call me/email me/contact me which hasnt happened. In one month of dealing with their customer service I have only received one phone call or email from Samsung. Every contact was initiated by me and every email has gone unanswered--even when I request and demand an answer. on August 17th I was told that my refund request was rejected because my receipt was not a valid bill of sale because it didnt have all of the required information (that is, the model number and name of the stove). This was the only receipt I was given, so I called the local store. They sent me some screen shots of all the information they had, which I forwarded to the emails provided to me by Samsung. In the 12 days since, I still have not heard anything from Samsung. They have not called back (as they said they would), they have not answered an email (which they said they will). If I call, I cannot speak to the same person I spoke to the day before, but must listen as this new person assures me they are on my side and want me to get my refund and assure me they will call me back (which NEVER HAPPENS). When I ask to speak to a supervisor (or executive customer service) I wait for 40 minutes and still get zero help. What a COMPLETE DISAPPOINTMENT the oven has been and what a complete and total mess their customer service has been.

The refrigerator we currently have is a replacement for the one we originally bought from Samsung. The original refrigerator had a problem with the freezer frosting up thus making it difficult to get the freezer drawer to open completely. After multiple attempts by the Samsung service technicians to resolve the problem Samsung decided to refund our money so we could purchase another refrigerator. Even though the service quality we received on the original refrigerator was terrible we decided to purchase another Samsung refrigerator because of their reputation for producing quality products. I am sorry to say that the replacement Samsung refrigerator is doing exactly the same thing and it is also very noisy. I doubt we will get more than a couple of years out of this refrigerator. I do not think Samsung knows what it is doing when it comes to making quality refrigerators and it definitely needs a tremendous amount of improvement in servicing what they sell. The process for a service repair is the most inefficient process ever! We have a 1.5 yr old refrigerator where the freezer went out. We knew we were out of the warranty period, but still went through the correct channels for getting a service request. The service company came out to our home and believed they found the issue, a sealed component issue which IS covered by the 5-yr warranty. This was within a weeks period. They then order some parts for the fix, then came back out to apply the fix, but no luck. They then had to release all the gas that is in the sealed lines, inject a dye into it and come back at a later date to see where the gas leak was in the lines. At this point, we are already 2 wks in, and they came out figure where the leak was. The leak was found and they had to then schedule a return appointment since they had to order some more parts to fix the leak. 3wks go by and now the part that came in will not work, even though, it is the correct part according to Samsungs technical support and the refrigerator blueprints. Now Samsung is making the repair company jump through hoops to make sure that indeed, the part will not work, including a live video conference to show the part not being able to fit on the actual piece. Its now been almost 4 weeks, without a refrigerator. We have a 16-month old toddler, we had to purchase a used fridge just so all our current food in the fridge wouldnt go bad, and there is still NO END IN SIGHT with Samsung deeming this refrigerator IRREPARABLE and giving us a new one! I will never recommend, not buy another Samsung product again.

Wish I could go back in time and choose a fridge other than Samsung RS263TDRS. Weve owned fridge 4 years and has been a disappointment from day one. Slow water dispenser. Ice dispenser shoots across room. Biggest issue is defroster on fridge side. Several times a year we go through the headache of fridge making loud grinding sound, popping and then inside heating up and spoiling food. Samsung support centre acts like my issue is an isolated problem.First time I paid for a technician. He reported this to me as common issue, a manufacturing default and inserted a spacer between fan to add more air flow. He acknowledged this was only a bandaid solution and that I should be proactive and when I hear ice starting to build up on fan, to defrost fridge for two days. This has become a burdensome issue now and we defrost our fridge three to four times a year. After doing this our fridge resumes cooling efficiently but then a few months go by and ice and water build up below crisper. I will never buy another Samsung product and discourage other consumers from buying their product. Samsung is robbing consumers and their callous approach to Customer Service is unacceptable.

POTENTIAL SAFETY HAZARD: Samsung dw80f600uts Dishwasher - This has been the worst appliance experience ever. Dishwasher worked fine for about the first 18 months. Then, on occasion, it would give an error code (Smart Auto and Heavy would flash). If we stopped and restarted it, it would usually run through the cycle. We are a family of only 2 adults, so we are not hard on it, nor do we run it more than 1 to 2 times per week due to handwashing some dishes (as the dishwasher cycle is VERY LONG... like 3 hours)! This morning the dishwasher stopped and gave error message, I tried to stop and restart. No luck. Then, while I had the door open, it started on its own!! (ID CALL THIS A SAFETY HAZARD). With all the complaints about this unit, I would think that Samsung would do a recall, or an optional recall, so at least those with issues can get unit corrected on Samsungs dime. We are choosing not to pay to have it fixed, as the reviews show that most have had to have fixed multiple times. Would rather buy a different brand than invest more in this faulty model.

Ceramic cook top model# NES595ROABWW/AA - Cooking eggs on stove then all of a sudden pop and crack!! I had no idea where it came from... lifted up the pan (light in weight) and there were cracks. I called and got an appointment. A service tech came out, called Samsung... the person said it was not covered because the customer broke it. Drop damage. I never dropped anything on it. We have had the stove 4 months!! Service tech sent pics. Samsung refused to cover it under warranty. There is no indications that anything was dropped on it. They just want money and dont want to deal with customers. We have a Samsung Fridge, Washer and cell phones. Wish I never would have purchased any of their products! They are the worst company I have ever felt with!! I will never buy another Samsung product. Neither should anyone else!!

I bought a brand new Samsung convection range NE59J7651WS, and it is only 23 months old. I have only used the self clean function twice before, and before this cycle completed the control panel fried and stopped working. Now I have to find a repair company to fix this. I noticed there are hundreds of customers that have the same issue and I think it would be appropriate for Samsung be accountable for this issue. A recall should happen and if not a class-action lawsuit may be started. Im all for that!! I will definitely never buy another Samsung appliance again!

We purchased a Samsung (Mod RF267AB) French door refrigerator, and within 18 months, we had issues with water pooling in the pan under the deli pullout drawer. Since we had an extended warranty through Lowes, we had it fixed. Since that time, the same problem has been fixed two more times with no success. (Each visit has been a different repair guy, so no commonality there.) The last time, the technician also adjusted the level and tilted the fridge back saying that may help it drain! Starting yesterday, the upper cooling fan has begun growling. I need to call Lowes service to get them out again, and of course, it’s also not draining again. When we originally researched the unit, we consulted the leading consumer products reporting magazines article on refrigerators at the time where it was a top rated model along with the GE model we looked at, which apparently was the same one manufactured by Samsung for GE. Im very disappointed by this experience and also by the ratings assigned by the consumer magazine.

Since August were been waiting for Samsung refrigerator. Now is October and it’s been 4th time they delivered damaged refrigerator. We went through Hell and no one could help... All they can say is sorry and here is the number to call. You call the number they give and it’s all over again, call this number or that number and NOTHING was solved. Looks like this company only cares how to put thousands and thousands $$$$$ in their pockets only. They don’t care about customers and how to treat them right! Something needs to be done with this company ** people. Please guys do not waste your time, nerves and your money! This refrigerator was installed by the RV Company in our RV. After one trip, the refrigerator stopped cooling. I called Samsung and got nothing but a run around. It seems that there is not a repairman anywhere in our area. We now have a Refrigerator that wont cool and was only used two weeks. We dont have a receipt for this refrigerator because it was installed in the RV by the manufacturer. Samsung has a problem understanding that when you buy an RV, you dont get receipts for every item installed in them. Buyer be aware that Samsung supposedly does there on repair work but there may not be a service center in your area!!

I moved into a new house about five years ago and it was stocked with Samsung appliances. First my stove caught fire within the first two years. My microwave has never officially worked correctly and now my refrigerator. My icemaker broke down within two years of purchase. The door shelves Have been tracking since the first year and breaking. One by one after five years I now have a zero shelves on my door. They are made of plastic only. When I price to get replacements they run almost $100 per shelf. And my icemaker has not worked in three years. So if you want a refrigerator that only last two years buy a Samsung. After that it’s all downhill and very very expensive to replace parts.

The problem with water in the drawers and on floor of refrigerator section
The problem with water in the drawers and on floor of refrigerator section is quite common. The drain tube gets iced up. You need to replace the evaporator cover in the refrigerator section. You also need to add a drain probe to carry heat from the defrost heater into the drain tube. Before you can remove the cover, you must defrost ref for 24 hours with doors open, unplugged. To remove rear cover in ref section remove 2 screws along bottom edge and then remove plug in center near top and remove screw under it. Start prying from each side from the bottom. Release 2 plugs at top left. Make sure drain hole in tray under evaporator is clear of ice by pouring hot water down it. Install new probe and install new cover. I think that if you go to searsparts.com and enter your model number you should be able find the correct parts.

Spoke to a representative who said Samsung couldn’t do anything for me since my warranty has expired. Since it is the same part that Samsung suffered a lawsuit in 2010, I strongly believe this issue has not been resolved in newer models either. My model was not part of the lawsuit. I have complained since day one, when this piece of junk was delivered to my house! To begin with, they delivered the wrong fridge from Conns in Baton Rouge LA (named appropriately). I tried to explain to the delivery men that I had ordered a white fridge that matches my kitchen, with nothing black in it! The fridge has never worked! It finally got so hot last week, I had to turn it off and put outside. As everyone online said, I can forget Samsung or Conns help or sympathy in this matter! I will not go out of my way on Facebook and any place anyone will listen to me and expose this factory and Appliance store. They have the worst name is their refrigerators than anyone I have ever of! Now, I can truly understand why! I wish everyone would get together and sign a class action lawsuit against these phonies. They should be closed permanently! I am a widow and Ive on coc sec. income and now I have no refrigerator, Samsung and Conns could care less. When I first bought the fridge 3 yrs ago, I tried to make them replace it and save 6 service trips because it was a lemon, but now I hear that all they have are lemons and they could care less.

Purchased the Samsung NX58F5300ss/AA Gas Range in December of 2013 from Best Buy. About two days ago my wife was going to cook breakfast but noticed the display panel was blinking and displaying the letters SE. I called Samsung Customer Service, explained the problem to them. They told to reset the circuit breaker in the house panel box and that would fix the problem. Needless to say, that didnt fix the problem. I called Samsung again, told them their fix did nothing. Samsung offered to setup an appointment for a service call but would not tell me what the service call would cost nor would they give me any information as to the probable problem could be.Based on other reviews, this error code of SE is a known problem but Samsung has not been helpful at all in trying to help me resolve the problem. Also based on other reviews I agree that it would be cheaper to buy a new range rather than calling a Samsung repairman.

My Samsung Refrigerator was a gift from my husband. I was so excited and looking forward to having a new refrigerator. Unfortunately, it has turned out to be a nightmare. The refrigerator was purchased in 2014 along with an extended warranty. Within 6 months the ice maker went out. It took 3 trips to repair it. Within 2 weeks it was out again. It took 4 visits to get it fixed this time and we learned it was a design flaw that Samsung knew about, but refused to correct the problem. Instead Samsung sent out a list of things the technicians could do to try and make the ice makers work longer. Again, it failed and a New Ice Maker was put in. That lasted about 6 months, however it leaked the whole time. Once again the ice maker went out. Same issues as before. Here I sit with the ice maker out yet again with Technicians coming out this week. All the while I am having to purchase Ice, make arrangements to be here for the technicians and listen to the excuses of which NONE are satisfactory. Home Depot and Samsung will not replace the refrigerator, because of an ice maker issue. What is worse now is the water leaking from the ice maker is dripping on the electrical components on the drawer below, which could cause a short or electrical issue. This is a VERY POOR appliance and I do not recommend it to anyone.

This is the worst appliance and service I have ever experienced. Called HD and they said theres nothing we can do. Went to HD store and played them a video I took of my new Samsung range. Every HD employee said thats NOT normal BUT youre stuck with it, theres nothing HD can do! I hate my brand new Samsung range. We renovated our entire kitchen in Samsung appliances. Our $3,300.00 4-door flex refrigerator lasted 2.5 years and my wife and I have been fighting with customer service (CS), since November 2017, to get them to honor their warranty. CS initially sent an authorized service person who tried to fix it and recharged the refrigerant. He stated that if this didnt fix the issue, since it was a sealed system, it is un-repairable. It worked for approximately 2 months and the issue returned. This points to a slow leak in the sealed system which has a 5 yr part/labor warranty. Next time we called they claimed they couldnt issue another ticket because our serial number had a refund already issued against it, though the refund wasnt in our name or sent to us. We feel their error is not our problem and shouldnt delay our warranty service request. They wouldnt budge.Since then weve heard nothing but excuses and well call you in a week. Another CS rep claimed the vendor (Home Depot) must have shipped a unit that had been previously returned (laughable), Home Depot doesnt stock the appliances theyre shipped straight from Samsung. We both actually heard these claims on our phone. Every time you call you have to re-explain the issue to them and Im sure they keep a file on your case. Now theyre asking me to remove the label from the appliance and send a picture to them (doesnt that invalidate the warranty?). This has been the most frustrating experience weve ever had. Youd think such a big company would want their name to stand out in a positive light. WE ARE NEVER BUYING ANOTHER SAMSUNG APPLIANCE AGAIN. Im contacting my states Attorney Generals office and the FTC about our issue. We may not be able to get financial relief but, if it is determined that what theyre doing is illegal, they will spend money in legal fees and fines. There are state and federal consumer laws regarding warranties. I hope this word gets out so maybe theyll change their ways. Best to document all contacts with them to show how they treat you. Their service techs dont give paperwork so you gotta keep all emails, texts msg, phone records to present your case.

I purchased a Samsung Refrigerator in 2013. 2-Door Side By Side with Model # RS263TD1BP. This refrigerator was manufactured in 2012 which has a design problem. Ice builds around the cooling coils which allows the refrigerator to completely shutdown. The refrigerator only maintains temperatures at the bottom, and is hot throughout all levels of the unit. Apparently the sensor that is attached to the cooling system which does not regulate the system to adjust after it reaches a certain temperature. A service repairman removed the back panel and had to take a steamer to defrost the ice. It took over 55 minutes to defrost the ice and replace the back panel. This is a design and manufacturing problem. Samsung knew that this problem exist, but continues to put this product on the market for customers to purchase. The warranty states that this should be covered, but Samsung refuses to acknowledge that this issue is not covered, and is left up to the customer to pay for their mistake. I have contacted Samsung over 25 times, and cant get to the Executive Level. I am sharing my level of frustration because the average lifetime of any household appliance should be longer than 3 years. Refrigerators are suppose to last. This is a design problem and all of these refrigerators should be RECALLED! Customers that purchased the SAMSUNG REFRIGERATOR THAT HAS THE BOTTOM PULL OUT FREEZER EXPERIENCE THIS PROBLEM several years ago and their units were replaced. Apparently, the problem is now existing in the 2-door side by side units as well.THERE IS A MALFUNCTION WITH THE COOLING SYSTEM. ICE BUILDS UP AROUND THE COPPER COILS WHICH CAUSES THE REFRIGERATOR TO stop regulating temperatures evenly throughout the refrigerator. The top and middle of the refrigerator is extremely hot and the bottom is extremely cold. Samsung should issue a recall of these appliances because they knew it was defected before putting these refrigerators on the market.Samsung Refrigerators are not constructed very well and apparently, this product does not have longevity. Too many consumers are complaining about this particular product. If complaints are being made, Samsung is aware of this malfunction and should take total responsibility and implement a recall. Samsung knew that this product was defective. A refrigerator is a household appliance that should last about on the average of 15-20 years. I sought out to buy a new refrigerator, a Samsung not because of need but desire. I was remodeling my kitchen, and I owned an Amana for 17 years. AND - this refrigerator never had one problem.

Samsung has a two year class action lawsuit against it and has known about its faulty icemakers for YEARS, but it continues to sell refrigerators that cannot be repaired. If you are lucky, your icemaker will work for the year it is under warranty. However, expect within six months after that first year, your icemaker will freeze and require constant thawing by a blowdryer. You can pay $250-$500 for a service fee for the technician to inform you that there is NO repair and NO replacement. Your only option is to continue to thaw the icemaker area with a blowdryer EVERY DAY! RUN, do not walk, RUN as fast as you can from Samsung refrigerators!

This refrigerator broke down 2 days after the warranty expired. They wanted a hundred dollars just to look at it before any repairs even started. I ran into an unsolvable trying to fix it myself. The connector to the evaporator fan shorted out. Half of that connector is built into the back wall of the refrigerator section. I got a new fan as the wire was clearly burnt off. I plugged the fan in and nothing, the refrigerator still did not work. I took it apart again and this time noticed that the tiny pin in the connector mounted in the refrigerator back wall was also burned off. I couldnt find that part anywhere. So I had to call for a service tech and pay the $100.00 call fee. The tech came out, inspected it, and deemed it unrepairable. So I now have a $4000.00 piece of trash. This is clearly Samsungs fault. It is a very poor design. If you search the internet you will see hundreds of complaints about icing and water build up in this section of the refrigerator. Samsung refuses to do anything about it or compensate me in any way. DO NOT BUY A SAMSUNG REFRIGERATOR! They do not stand behind their products or care about their customers, or have a good designed product!

I bought a Samsung Rs2530 Bbp refrigerator from Best Buy in October 2008. It made a lot of ice at first, and we never ran out. In less than a year, it stopped cooling and decreased ice output. I set up a service call, and they replaced something inside behind the icemaker. They told me I needed to have less stuff in the freezer for it to work right. They extended my warranty to three months, and said the icemaker would work. On Christmas Eve, it quit cooling completely; they couldn’t get anyone out until after New Year’s Day. That ruined all my food and our holiday. They then said I cancelled the service call the day I took off to meet with them, and that I had to reschedule. That meant two vacation days off work. They got it running, but it still didnt make much ice. Then the warranty was over. Back in June, the power went out and it quit cooling again. I had one light flashing on the front. I found Jonathan ** of ARC who said he could work on Samsung appliances, and could come the same day--unlike the people Samsung wanted me to use. However, a few hours later the refrigerator just started working, so I told Jonathan I would get him to fix the icemaker in a few weeks. The power went out again last Wednesday; it stopped cooling, and I got the same flashing light. I tried to research the problem online. I found out that either the unit could be reset (didnt work), or it could resolve itself (didnt happen the first day like last time). Also, it could either need a control board (found for $60-$70 dollars), or depending on which light was flashing it could indicate a faulty sensor. Since I didnt know which, I had to call Jonathan. I told him I needed to know what part to replace. He came in asking questions like he hadnt spoken to me like, “So what is this flashing light for?”, “It just isnt freezing?”, “Looks like its working...the lights come on when I opened it.” and “Let me check the compressor.” After digging in it for a little longer, he asked me about the flashing light AGAIN, and said it was the control board. He could fix it for $450.20! He said the spare part was $260 and that he could get it in about three days. He would apply the $89 he was charging for the service call to the bill, or that he could get me the same refrigerator new for about $2000 or used for $1000. Really? I paid less than $900 when I bought it new. I decided to take a loss on the $89, and get the control board since he gave me the part number. Guess what? It wasnt the control board. I replaced it; I tried all the resetting and still had the same problem. I left it in a few hours to see if it would start working. Nope. I took it back out hoping the parts store would take it back. They wouldnt. I stopped payment on Jonathans $89 check, since I was now out of $72 more because of his wrong information, and the food decaying in my refrigerator and freezer. He not only tried to overcharge me for 5 minutes of work, he also misdiagnosed the problem and knew less about it than I did. I decided to just get a used refrigerator over the weekend, but late Friday it just randomly started working again. Okay. I bought new food and cleaned it out. We had a thunderstorm today and lost power. You know the rest; flashing light, not cooling and no one can fix it unless it fixes itself. Samsung shouldnt make refrigerators as I see this or similar problems all over. Jonathan ** of ARC is not qualified to diagnose or make repairs, and will rip you off.

We purchased the Samsung 24 Stormwash dishwasher in August 2020. After the first time I ran a full cycle, I got an error code OC. I looked it up and the manual said to contact the manufacturer. I tried using another cycle to see if that would work, it didnt. So I tried several other cycles and it finally completed a cycle. But I immediately noticed it didnt wash the dishes at all. Dishes that didnt even have grease on them before, were greasy with debris on it. Mind you, I rinse the majority of the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. So I called Home Depot to tell them it wasnt working and they informed me at that moment that it was purchased from the manufacturer so I would have to contact them. Soooo, I called them and I have had the run around from the very beginning. They arranged with a local company to send a tech out to look at it. That is whole story in itself (and not a good one). He FINALLY came out, said it needed a part, ordered it and came back to install it a week later. After he left, I tried a cycle and it worked. And then I ran another cycle and it barely got about 2 to 5 minutes into the cycle and it stopped. I called Samsung again, and after speaking to the lady (a rather rude lady at that), she finally escalated it for me to get a refund or replacement because they couldnt get in contact with the company that supposedly fixed my unit. They were supposed to call me back within 24 to 48 hours. A WEEK later, I called them because I never got a phone call back and they had the nerve to tell me I didnt qualify for a replacement or refund. They sent a defective unit that cost $1052.85 and now I have to jump through hoops just to get the unit fixed. The rep has been rude and dismissive. The unit is horrible! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. We have everything else Samsung, but we will NEVER buy from them again!

Has anyone been able to contact and resolve issues with their Samsung refrigerators? Has anyone taken legal action? I bought my refrigerator four years ago from Sears. As I sit here typing this comment, my fabulous product is sitting over there broken! This makes the third time that the temperature sensor has failed and have lost all of my food. The second time the sensor went out, no one keeps these parts on hand and it had to be ordered from the manufacturer overseas. This ONLY took seven weeks to get here. Thankfully, I have a home warranty policy and they have repaired it. Well, my luck has run out. The repairman who came out yesterday told the warranty company that the sensor failed causing other parts failures. Now the warranty company is telling me that my policy wont cover this because if a warrantied part causes other equipment failures, the company wont cover them. This means $338, plus the $60 service call, out of MY pocket. The first two repairmen told me that Samsung appliances are ABSOLUTE JUNK!!!! Has anyone been able to get any action from Samsung or has anyone taken any legal action? Im in!!!

Ever since we bought the fridge it does not COOL properly, especially during the summer. We purchased the fridge in 2013. We’ve replaced several parts since then. Its hard to get a hold of someone from customer service. We are extremely upset because we spent $2,000 for a fridge that doesnt work & for that price we expect it to work properly. We also bought a used fridge for $175 & it works better than the darn Samsung. (>﹏

My previous refrigerators lasted 15 years without one problem. This Samsung lasted less than 2 years before we had to pay for a new defrost timer. Now, less than another 2 years has past and it is broken again. We do not even live in a hot area! We live high in the mountains... what a piece of crap. Never buy Samsung refrigerators. They are junk. They should stick to TVs. My TV has been flawless for 10 years.

Terrible, terrible. We purchased this but we didnt install or use it for 12 months. From the initial washing it didnt drain - left nasty water in the bottom of the tub. (Called Lowes/Samsung but we missed the grace period by 2 days.) Had a repairman out twice but he cant fix it. Now Im finding that based on this terrible specimen, do not buy any Samsung dishwasher.

This company is a joke. My refrigerator went out 3 months after we purchased it. It took them 2 wks to get a tech out only to tell us that he could not fix it. I have to call just about every day to ask what going on. Every time their response is I am going to escalate your ticket, you should hear back from us within 48 hrs or 7 - 10 business days and here I am two months and a half after and Samsung cannot provide me with a replaced refrigerator nor a refund. I will never purchase anything from Samsung again!!!

I purchased a Samsung refrigerator model RF32FMQDBSR/AA in June of 2014, and have since had to have the ice maker replaced 3 times for a total of $1000. It originally failed just a year after the frig was purchased, so was no longer under warranty, and that bill was slightly over $500. In August of this year it failed again, and that experience cost $400. At that time the repair company said they were no longer doing warranty work for Samsung due to the issues with the ice maker. Here it is 2 months later and the icemaker has failed again. This morning the tech came out and we were charged $100 for a service call, and it is still not making ice. Samsung wont do anything about the problem. We are probably going to have to purchase a different brand of refrigerator as we have already spent 25% of what the original purchase price was for repairs. No more Samsung for me.

Our Samsung fridge, purchased with our townhome in 2012 has an obnoxious odor coming from it. We have removed everything, turned off, cleaned thoroughly, restarted and still the odor persists. Smell does not come from anywhere specific (that we can locate) but is strong enough to permeate throughout our house. We called Samsung and were told to check our fridge for rotten food - daaah! We are not that stupid and frankly feel insulted. Looking at comments on Google, we believe that Samsung has a problem with this unit but does not want to admit it. Any suggestions or advice?

We have a Samsung dishwasher. Model # DMT300RFW/XAA. No matter how we arrange the dishwasher they still come out with food chunks on them or stuck in the bottom of a cup. Rinse aid, different detergent, less dishes, rinse dishes etc, etc.

I bought both a Samsung refrigerator and dishwasher in stainless steel at local Big Box store. Both have proven to be the worst quality appliance I have ever owned. The 4 door refrigerator was quite expensive and has a great look, but it continually drips water from the ice-maker opening. It also smudges with prints and are almost possible to remove the mottling. The dishwasher also looks good but does not dry the dishes. I am very disappointed with this several thousand dollar purchase. Buyer beware on both!

RF266AEPN/XAA - Purchased 8-2012. Pbm began July 2014. The fan made a loud racket. Sears was great. Repairman said it was due to fan hitting against ice built up on drain tubes caused by putting hot food in refrig (steam turned to ice). Food safety requires hot foods must be refrigerated! I now have to defrost my refrig & freezer for 2 days to install a $200 kit to prevent this from happening again... It should have never happened in the first place. What an inconvenience. While Samsung denies having a problem, they conveniently have a repair kit specifically designed for the Non Problem. It is a beautiful and functional refrigerator but I am disgusted with Samsung. If make a mistake, admit it, fix it and people will respect you. Samsung responsibility is to reimburse everyone for the kit and the cost of installation.
