This is accurate and fair. Here it goes. I purchased this refrigerator in 2014 from the Home Depot. I also purchased the 5 yr extended warranty (just in case). It all began with them delivering the wrong unit and it also had a hole in the back from a forklift. The delivery company left it in my driveway and drove off and in the process, ran into and wrecked my neighbors picket fence and would not share insurance information for replacement. Yes. HD sent two young men to pick up the fridge without a lift on the back so all of us had to heft this into a high bed truck to remove it. Ended up renting a truck and picking up and installing the new one ourselves. So I have had this refrigerator for 10 months and it stopped cooling in the fridge and the freezer. I want to add that the vegetable storage units do not keep the vegetables for long at all. They go bad after a couple of days. Back to the technicians, 3, yes 3 hours on the computer chat with a (3) tech(s) from Samsung to reset the OFF reading on the digital display. After 3 hours of attempting to reset and do all the bells and whistles to reset, the tech(s) then tell me that the panel is bad and needs a technician to go to the home location and repair it. They said to call Samsung to create a ticket. Ok, also called Asurion who has the warranty. They said they would create a ticket and send me a food loss form. Sent food loss form and then Im told that a reimbursement will not be issued until after the repair? I then call Samsung who tells me that there should be a repair person by Wednesday or Thursday (it is Saturday) and they would create a ticket. Then I called the Home Depot who tells me that if the issue was not solved by Wednesday or Thursday they would send me a check for the fridge or a new one? WTH? Its now Thursday (6 days after fridge quits) and no one knows about the problem or any ticket issued. I snapped. We then start all over. I am then told that it is a simple fix and I would have to pay for the repair? NO, NO, NO. I am then sent to the secondary customer person who then creates ANOTHER repair ticket and tell me that the repair person will call me in about 48 hours or so and cannot even conceivably come until next Tuesday or Wednesday. No we are into 11 days of this issue. So, this Samsung refrigerator has NO repair people in this area and yet they are continuously sold. Now what? I paid over $2,200 (on sale) for this absolute piece of mechanical scrap with the worst customer service ever. NEVER, and I mean NEVER purchase this refrigerator or any Samsung refrigerator, NEVER. Repeat that to yourself.

I purchase a double door refrigerator model digital inverter with 10 years warranty on 16-09-2013 but before 3 months (after purchasing approx 6 month) I noticed the fruit tray was cracked. I complaint to customer care but customer care representative said our company has not covered plastic part under warranty. He demanded rs. 2000/- to replace the tray. After some time I like a hairline crack in the plastic at the front of the tray above the vegetable and fruit drawers. Sir, I dont understand what is the problem in this fridge. I think this fault is from the company... Pls check your product. Before one year your plastic part was cracked automatically... but your staff said this is not covered by us... Pls tell me what I do... what is my fault? (purchasing your great company Refrigerator) Pls solve my matter.

Samsung has a known problem with their twin cooling French door refrigerator, but refuses to help to make it right. Drain tubes on these units are undersized causing the ice maker to not work and water to leak out from under their freshness trap. Weve now had two floods in our kitchen and no ice. Our appliance repair service was well aware of these problems. Our unit is 4 years old and no longer in warranty. The repair cost will be $800 to fix.

I have had issues with my four-door refrigerator the last 6 weeks. We had noticed the frozen foods werent quite as frozen as they should be and then the ice maker stopped dumping ice. I had noticed previously that the ice in the holder always froze against the right-hand side of the bucket and would stop dispensing ice. I then noticed the ice maker would fill with water and would produce ice but never dumped it. I hit the reset button and it worked perfectly. It never would begin normal ice production on its own, and I had to continually hit the reset button for ice to be dumped ever two hours. Now, the freezer has become the fridge! No ice now and all of the food in that portion are thawed, just water in the ice tray that never freezes. I called the helpdesk (almost said it with a straight face) and they could do nothing except send a serviceman to repair the unit at my cost. I asked if they would guarantee their work and she said that they could only try and fix it. I told her to me try was not a guarantee of it being fixed. I asked if they would stand behind the work of their suggested contractors and she said again, they would try and fix it.I am anxiously awaiting a call from the repairman to see the cost of him driving to my house and the estimated charges he thinks he will have. I will ask him if HE stands behind his work since Samsung won’t. If it goes as it has with all of the other customers on this site, I will NOT be buying a new refrigerator from Samsung, and I will contact Lowe’s and tell them of my displeasure with one of their distributors.

I purchased a Samsung OTR microwave in August 2015. The microwave has stopped working. The front control panel is totally dead. It doesnt even display the time. I have spoken to 4 different people from Samsung Support and a Samsung authorized repair shop representative. All of these folks have asked me if there is a problem with the electrical outlet or the breaker. I have tried to explain that the breaker is fine and the unit is getting power. We plugged in other items into the outlet to confirm. Now I am being told that I have to uninstall the microwave in order for a technician to look at it. I am 65 year old woman and I do not have the ability to uninstall this appliance nor do I have anyone that can do this for me. Samsung says it is their policy not to uninstall the appliances. REALLY? Well it is not my policy to have an appliance break in 6 months! I also purchased a Samsung oven, dishwasher and refrigerator at the same time. Cant wait for all of them to break within the next year so I can try to figure out how to uninstall all of them?? This is ridiculous. Dont buy Samsung.

I recently purchased a whole kitchen appliance package from Samsung and in the six months that I have had it, I have had numerous problems. The microwave out and out just died on me, the handle on my freezer door keeps falling off and the worst is the finish on the oven door is peeling off. Samsung refuses to fix it, saying it is cosmetic, which is what all the other people on the reviews were told too. How can you make a crappy product that doesn’t stand up to everyday use and then say youre not going to fix it? I am going to talk to a lawyer about a class action settlement! Shame on you Samsung for not caring about the people that are paying their hard earned money for your faulty product!

I purchased a new Samsung refrig 267 that has had a few service issues. The ice maker is very noisy and does not work smoothly, but the largest issue is the cooling system that leaks water and freezes under the cool pantry drawer. I had an authorized service agent come to fix the problem, but after an hour and a service charge, he said it was not repairable. Samsung will not stand behind the product and would not help in any way. Due the fact that they have thousands of unhappy product owners, I would hope that they would take responsibility and own up, even if it takes replacing the product at no charge. I understand the later models have new technology that eliminates the problem that thousands of current owners are stuck with.

My Samsung is probably 15 years old by now. It has been one of my best investments. I think I have had one repair in all that time that may have been $150 which at the time I thought was outrageous. But looking back now was cheap considering the longevity of my refrigerator. It looks great, it is still in style and is easily maintained. It is silver which is very much still in vogue and everything works! I have always taken good care of my appliances so they will last a long time. Now that I have bragged on it, well well see.

We recently purchased Samsung Dishwasher Model #DW80K5050 that seemed visually fine on delivery. When we attempted to install it a week later, there was internal damage not visible from the outside. Samsung sent a rep to confirm the DW had likely been dropped to cause multiple internal issues. When we shared this with Build.com, they said they had no responsibility since damage was not reported in their 24-48 hr window EVEN THOUGH DAMAGE WAS INTERNAL and COULD NOT BE DETECTED FROM THE OUTSIDE. And when we reached out to Samsung they said their warranty doesnt cover new appliances that had never operated (i.e. delivered broken). So we are stuck with a yet to be installed dishwasher for which we just ordered replacement parts at our expense. I would avoid buying from Build.com that was unwilling to correct this situation despite nearly $20,000 of appliance purchases from them the past year alone. And I would also avoid purchasing Samsung appliances based on their customer service, or lack thereof.

Samsung side by side refrigerator/freezer Model#RS265TDRS - Wish I had read reviews before buying this absolute piece of crap!!! Nothing but problems since I bought on 9-09-2013. Constant Ice Build Up Freezing coils in Frig. I believe when I pay my Hard Earned $$$ for A New Appliance it should work properly. Not that They try to sell you an extended warranty plan thats useless anyway. The repair people dont even know what to do. Had 2 different Ones tell me they would not work on them due to poor quality parts & replacement is only guaranteed for 90 days. Right now I have estimate for 544.22 to replace Thermostat cover/evaporator & sensor. I want to contact Samsung directly but all you get is recording. My next move is go to my Local Lowes. Thats where I purchased. & beg for help. This time fridge has been out for 2 weeks while I am deciding what my next move is. Probably Local TV Station for HELP!!!

I moved into a new house on Jan 7 2015. The house came with stainless steel appliances (Brand new). I peeled the stickers from the Samsung stove myself... So I know I was the first user. Used it 4 times, smelled a funny smell but the documents said that its OK to have this smell in the first few times, so I didnt pay much attention.Then... short and I had to reset the breaker. Since then the oven wont pre-heat. Call Samsung and they sent out a nice guy that didnt know what to do. He then called Samsung and had been transferred 2 times to speak to 2 different Samsung reps. The 3rd guy asked him to check behind the stove and look for burned wires. My cool tech told him its a brand new stove. Samsung guy asked him to check... Well... bad wiring almost cost me my sons life, my life, my house and everything I have. My tech got an authorization number from Samsung and said that Samsung will call me within 24-48 hours to schedule a pickup and replacement. So... I waited.4 days later I called Samsung, gave them that number and they transferred me to a different department. The lady told me that she cannot help me without a receipt. I told her that I got the stove with the house and its not about a piece of paper. Its about Samsung selling a faulty equipment, a fire hazard in a shape of an oven.No go... Tried to leave a message on their FB page... the guy told me that he is sorry for my inconvenience (its a gas stove, that burned itself and can kill me... they know about it but still selling it... its not an inconvenience, its simply dangerous to let this company sell products!) - but... I need to get him a receipt for him to ask Samsung to take responsibility for its faulty product. Is there any federal commission that can take my oven and investigate it? Maybe cross it with houses that burned? Its like that GM recall... They KNOW about it but wont do a thing until someone will die, even then they maybe try to cover up before taking real action. My advice to you - Stay away from Samsung products! (Cell Phones, Computers, TVs.. anything). Also, Ive seen some other complaints here. Im going to buy a new stove next week. But if theres a class action going on I would like to be a part of it. If theres none, Im interested in filing one and would like to contact other people who had a similar experience. So, please contact me if you can.

Samsung warranty repair technicians have come to service my ice maker 4 times, once the ice maker was replaced, but didnt make a difference. The techs simply said there isnt a problem, even when I showed them the ice maker doesnt work! They are like robots and they would not document that they could not fix the refrigerator. I gave up calling them out. I hired two independent repair people and they came out and said it is unrepairable and a design flaw.

I am not sure if I got a lemon or if this is a widespread problem, but we bought the Samsung Fridge (model RF4287HARS/XAA) in November 2011. The middle shelf on the left door, as you face the open fridge, which is adjacent to the ice maker, cracked after a few months. The crack was minor but spread over time. We barely used the shelf and could not figure out how it happened. We ordered a replacement shelf (under warranty) in Sept. 2012. It had been a problem for months, but that is when we got around to it. The problem recurred very soon after getting the replacement shelf.Again, it was small to start, and we did not notice it for a while. As we were busy with kids and the holidays, we did not contact Samsung until 2013. The warranty was up, but Samsung agreed that the shelf should not have formed a crack and sent us a second replacement in early June 2013. We put in the replacement shelf, and this time, we did not even put anything on the shelf, and it cracked again... the third time, within a few days. Each time, the crack has started where the shelf touches the door at the ice maker. At this point, it is clear that the crack is being created by the ice maker. Samsung is sending a third replacement shelf but will not acknowledge that there is actually a problem with the fridge that is causing the shelf to crack. I am not certain if it is a unique defect with our fridge or more widespread. I started typing this as I approached one hour of time on hold for their customer service supervisor. I had asked to escalate things to the Executive Customer Relations team but was told that no one could take the call, or a message due to high demand. I finally abandoned my call after this long hold time.

I bought all new Samsung appliances for my kitchen remodel - 22cuft Family Flex Refrigerator w/ door computer, Samsung Washer/Dryer and a Samsung 5-Burner 5.8-cu ft Self-cleaning True Convection Freestanding Gas Range (Black Stainless Steel) Model # NX58M6630SG. Within two years the refrigerator computer has issues, the ice cube maker constantly froze solid and FINALLY Samsung replaced. Now the black stainless paint on my $1200 gas range is peeling off! Contacting Samsung and Im told thats cosmetic damage due to wear and tear.Samsung products are expensive but under the surface are inferior appliances that start top fail shortly after the 1 year warranty period. In the case of the peeling paint off the range, that isnt even covered during the warranty period. Stay away from Samsung. Do not spend good money on their inferior appliances. They are impossible to work with to resolve issues. I will not be letting this most recent defect go without lots of complaining with Lowes where they were purchased and with Samsung. I will be filing a lawsuit against Samsung for replacement cost of the gas range.

I bought this refrigerator two years ago. Paid almost 4000 for it and its been trouble ever since. First they cant seem to get ice maker to work right so I had to manually defrost monthly. Now for the big issue, this is a dual zone model meaning it has two compressors one for each zone, well the top zone compressor went out. Service man came, ran diagnostics. Sure enough compressor quit. Samsung now says this is a non repairable item. So at this point the fridge is junk. Samsung says they will buy it back but have been dragging their feet on how much they will give me or when this will happen since November 16. They are still seller my the dual zones and not disclosing that if compressor goes out its a throw away. I will never buy Samsung anything again.

What a huge disappointment with my 3 year old Samsung Fridge. Last summer my fridge stopped cooling. When we noticed it was accumulating ice in the back panel. After many reviews we defrosted it. This happened at least 3 times last summer. This summer we have had the same issue again. When I contacted Samsung about this they state there is no problem with this model. I purchased a Samsung refrigerator from Sears 15 months ago. It was the French Door Model # RF31FMESBSR/AA, thinking it was top of the line since it cost $3,000. It is the worst refrigerator ever. The ice maker stopped working after 1 year. The plastic bins are all cracking from holding 1/2 gallon of milk & a few condiments. Samsung does NOTHING to help since the refrigerator starts falling apart just after 1 year. Ive had a GE Profile last 19 years and a Frigidaire last 10 years & still going strong. Samsung charges $160 plus $66 to ship plastic bins that should last more than 15 months. Overpaid to repair the ice maker $200 & now am paying $226 for the bins. In Nov 2016 I purchased a Samsung Dishwasher. I was having some remodelling done and did not have the dishwasher installed until shortly before Christmas. Model # DW80j7550US/AA. The dishwasher never completed a cycle, and never washed appropriately. With Christmas business I called Samsung shortly after the holidays to schedule repair. This is a brand new dishwasher! Scheduling service was complicated because when I called in (Dominican Republic) the washer was not under warranty - brand new. After emailing the bill of sale and many other hoops the dishwasher was scheduled for service. On 1/16/2017 NISI sent out a service technician who diagnosed it needs a new part. This part should take about 3 weeks. I called NISI on 2/27, left a message and also sent a text (his requested method of contact).Today 3/9 after not getting a reply with 3 calls and 2 texts I finally get a text from him stating call the technician with a cell number. I stalled the cell and sent a text. No reply. I have since contacted Samsung and received a new 41 number and hopefully will hear back. The upside of this situation is that I had a Samsung refrigerator scheduled for delivery. I quickly cancelled. Buyer please beware. I wish I would have googled these reviews first. I will never ever purchase a Samsung product and will tell anyone that I come into contact with. Unbelievably awful!!!

Purchased refrigerator during October 2015 and appliance began giving problems about 8 months later. After much bureaucracy to get a repair through warranty, the problem still remains. The Ice Maker freezes in the back of the refrigerator and stops the Ice Making mechanism from making Ice until the ice built up in the back is chilled away or melted with a blow dryer. This process needs to be performed every three weeks. Water also leaks from the ice dispenser and the crisper tray seems to accumulate water under it and ultimately it leaks to the floor under the fridge.

We bought the model # DMT400RHW about 4 years ago. It has no buttons on the front. Just touch sensitive ones on top. Anyways we were so excited to have this dishwasher, I have two little kids (4 & 2) and they wouldnt be able to get into it, etc... However, my family and kids started getting sick a lot more than normal. I took my kids to a homeopathic doctor and discovered my son has an extreme issue with mold and allergies. He was allergic to penicillin, etc... Well, we also noticed the dishwasher didnt smell quite right after using it and couldnt figure out what the deal was. It looked clean inside. I bought dishwasher cleaners and ran those through it. It still smelled. Everyone kept asking us if we had mold in our house that might be making us sick. I scoured the house and could find nothing. Then, I was emptying the dishwasher a couple weeks ago and noticed that there was a bit of black stuff at the bottom of the front door coming out from under the seal. I got a paper towel and when I ran it under the seal and it came away black with mold and smelled like vomit. All this time Ive been washing dishes with that junk! No wonder my family has been so sick! I called the company customer service and they said theyve never had this problem with any of their models ever. I find that hard to believe! My husband says its a faulty design. I agree. If the seal was flush to the door no food and water could get trapped under it. Samsung said I just need to keep cleaning it with vinegar or bleach. Im sorry, but Ive never had to wipe out a dishwasher after every time I use it and I think thats ridiculous! I also dont like the fact that I cannot just do a rinse and dry cycle on this. You have to run it through fully every time. Needless to say we will not ever buy another Samsung again. Their customer service was terrible, even when I talked to a manager. Im over it already and now Im stuck with this faulty dishwasher.:(

We bought a house without a fridge and went looking. I loved the French doors and the basic layout of the fridge. Looked up the reviews on it and saw all the complaints about the ice maker. Thought that maybe the issue had been fixed. It hadn’t. Barely had it a year and had to get the ice maker replaced. Could only find 1 company that would even work on them. Took him a month trying to get the thing working again. Now here I am again 8 months later and it’s broke again. It has all the updates on it, less than a year old ice maker on it and when talking to the repairman he said that it’s a Samsung. It’s what they do. Tried contacting Samsung when it first went out and they told me that they were aware of the problem but it was past their warranty. They got their money so don’t care much if it works after they aren’t responsible for it. Do yourself a favor and keep looking.

We bought a Samsung range NE595R1ABSR in July 2012 when we were renovating our kitchen. We also bought a Samsung refrigerator and above stove microwave. We arent happy with any of these appliances, but the range is a safety hazard. The first incident happened when we had several guests for dinner. My husband and I were cooking and suddenly I felt an electrical shock and heard a loud noise and the electricity for the whole house went out. The Samsung tech didnt find anything wrong. I was scared to use the stove after that, but started using it again. A few months later I was just warming up something on low heat and when I touched the control knob it gave me a jolt, made a popping noise and the stove shut down completely. My husband had to reset the breaker, but I wont use that burner again or touch that knob. Samsung now says it isnt covered under its manufacturing warranty, but I have an extended warranty with the store of purchase. Although, I think Samsung should be responsible because they knew about it within a few months after I purchased it and they did nothing except tell me it was perfectly safe and nothing was wrong with it. I really dont feel safe with this stove and want my husband to put it in the garage. It also has a problem regulating the heat. I can never adjust it properly to cook food evenly. The burners just ignore the temp control and heat will go up and down erratically. The oven is the worst one Ive ever used. I used to love to cook, but now I really hate it.

Weve had a Samsung French Door fridge RF323TEDBSR/AA for almost 3 years (still relatively new). And on replacing the water filter, the filter port began to drip leak with or without the filter. Because it was out of the 1 year warranty, we had to pay $158 parts and $130 labor to replace the entire filter port. The repair guy said that it was because we used an aftermarket (HomeDepot) filter. But comparing the replacement and original, the parts were identical. I think this is just poor quality construction in the water filter port. I would definitely think twice before purchasing another Samsung fridge.

We purchased our range/oven in October 2018. Not even 3 months later had to have it repaired: the entire control unit was replaced as the controls locked up with food burning in the oven, with oven door locked. Now the oven turns on at random times, and also locking the oven door, and freezing the control unit again. So called Samsung again, and explained that this range/oven is dangerous, as it could burn down the house with my family in it. Their response? Cant exchange it because we have to wait for the second round of repairs. Last time it took at least 3 weeks for the spare parts to arrive, so when asked the Specialty Claim Rep at Samsung, her answer was that if I am afraid of the unit, I should unplug it until fixed. My question is, why would I want a unit replaced when this is systematic issue, and not a unit-specific problem? When asked if Samsung will take full liability for possibly causing property damage or bodily harm, their answer was I can not talk to a supervisor as my case has been already escalated. Which agency is responsible of forcing a manufacturer to recall a dangerous product? And why they are not acting after all those reviews on this site? Indeed, I failed to read these comments, otherwise I would avoided this product line and Samsung altogether... Now I am stuck with a product for a very long time...

So sad. Built a beautiful home almost 2 years ago (June 2015). Was so excited to have a nice kitchen. We decided on a Samsung suite for the kitchen. The problems started with our dishwasher. Didnt clean the dishes and smelled of garbage every time you opened it. Had numerous tech calls to fix never was. My last straw was when they didnt show up for another appointment after taking an afternoon off from work. We replaced it with a Bosch after only 8 months. My microwave doesnt turn. It used to but we discovered (after warranty was up) that the plate feet were too big for the part on bottom of microwave to turn it. So the refrigerator. Small issue but the bottom deli tray cover comes off every single time you open the drawer. It is too small for the drawer.Called Samsung and they sent us another one. Same issue. Go into Best Buy and look at the floor model and it works and fits perfectly. Not sure why ours does that. Last month noticed that the same drawer was stuck. Pulled it out and there is a buildup of ice on bottom. Cleaned it all up and has happened again. I am sitting here with two coolers, a dorm refrigerator and my RV refrigerator filled and my Samsung unplugged and empty. I have read that this is an issue. Almost to point of just wanting a new refrigerator. I wish I had the money to replace right now. Dont want to deal with Samsung products again. (Also have a 55 Samsung flat screen and the picture turns off randomly and you have to shut it all down and restart).

I bought a Samsung microwave about a year and half ago. At the time it was a fancy microwave with all the bells and whistles. Great right?! Yea...I thought so too. So after shelling out quite a bit for a microwave, the door actually failed within 1 year. It just randomly came up with an error code and stopped working. Apparently, this was a well known issue with this model and Samsung replaced the door. However, the replacement door is also now under a year of use and the back side of the door is plastic. Well it literally crumbled into pieces. I called Samsung and they told me conveniently the manufacturer warranty is 1 year total and the replacement door is not warranted for an additional year. So since I am 4 months outside of the original warranty (not when the new door was replaced) it would cost $250 at least to fix. Its a practically new microwave and it needs $250 to fix. Samsung does not care about customer service at all. I will no longer support their products. This is not right.

In September 2017, we purchased the top of the line Samsung dishwasher at Home Depot thinking it would be the last dishwasher we retirees would buy. Unfortunately I can’t tell you the model because my husband threw the manual and paperwork away in disgust three weeks ago when, after two years and four months we sent the dishwasher to the dump. It needed a new pump and the repair would be so expensive we might as well buy a new one. Our model had the storm surge feature, if that helps identify it. Also, the racks were starting to rust. The clean was not as good as the Whirlpool we replaced it with for half the price. We also bought a refrigerator at the same time. We’re attempting to join a class action suit because the ice maker leaks and the ice compartment freezes into a solid block and Samsung refuses to acknowledge the problem. I’ve learned that Samsung, LG, and even some GE appliances use the same inferior parts. I bought Whirlpool because that’s what the repairman owns. But I bought a Lowe’s 5 year warranty on my $326 dishwasher (sale price) so that I’m covered. I distrust the company warranties and their planned obsolescence. Start talking to your friends and associates, I’ve found three others disgruntled with their Samsung appliances. Personally, I would pay a small fortune for an appliance with parts and manufacture in the USA. I’m old enough to know major appliances that lasted 30 years and more. Remember when Made in the USA was a guarantee of quality? Not assembled in the USA with parts made in Mexico or China. Thank you for allowing me to vent, and please don’t buy Samsung.

Firstly, I wish I had read these Samsung stove reviews prior to my purchase. :( This stove got 4.5 stars on PC Richards site which is one of the reasons that I bought it. I purchased the Samsung NX58M6650W Gas Range in November of 2017. I purchased this stove solely for the price and way it looked as I am not a person that cooks a lot and barely do I use an oven. I was upgrading my kitchen and looking for a stainless steel stove to replace my old one. Its a very nice looking stove but obviously looks can be deceiving. After my 4th time using the oven, which was all day on Thanksgiving Day 2018, I noticed that the control panel was warped almost looking like it had melted. I called Samsung for repair and they gave me a courtesy extension my warranty (2 weeks out of warranty) and offered a free repair. In my eyes a barely used stove should not have any issues in just over 12 mos, but thats just me. I had my rinky Hotpoint Stove for 17 years and not ONE need for repair. Anyway the repairman came and fixed the stove. He replaced the old control panel which means removing around 20 screws un-wiring/detaching and re-wiring a new control panel. Also needs to be mentioned, the control panel on the stove is made of plastic! Now that can be a problem if your stove gets hot. Repair seemed successful but two days later, the timer isnt working. For reference, the timer is in the same place on the panel that warped after using the oven for several hours. Needless to say I am furious. Samsung insists on sending out another repairman, but I want this stove replaced (not with a Samsung if thats possible). If you read the reviews, you have no doubt that this stove is problematic in its design. I watched the repair, and with all the fine wiring on a plastic panel, how will there not be problems? Samsung has been giving me somewhat of a runaround and does not seem to stand behind their product. Im sure problems will continue to occur based on all of the reviews and research Ive done. I have been on the phone with them 5 times. I have another appointment for repair since they say that this is the best that they can do since I am now out of warranty. Im with the other reviewer that says Class Action. I will try to update this review after my next repair visit, but in the interim, this stove is sorely disappointing. Stay away from this stove.

I will never buy another Samsung product again. This dishwasher is our second one; the first one was replaced right away after purchase for not cleaning our dishes. This current one is just as bad, if not worse. Our dishes are never dry. They all need to be dried with a towel since theyre so wet. And the recommended jet dry does not help. The worst part about this product is our dishes are never clean. Samsung has not been the least bit helpful and claims it works just fine. I dont consider dirty dishes acceptable and neither should they. Its unfortunate that so many consumers are unhappy with the product but we are stuck with it. Please do research before you buy appliances!! And a class action lawsuit sounds perfect to me.

We bought Samsung DW80H9930 series on 6/28/14. Paid $1000 at Home Depot plus $300 for installations. As soon as we started, in 15 minutes, water started coming out. We called Samsung. Company guys came several times to solve the problem but could not help. We repeatedly call Samsung. Like company does not care. We called outside company, P.C. Richard repair guy & again problem was lingering around. Last week, we called Samsung & ask for final help before we get rid of the dishwasher. Again, manager does not care for it. I guess Samsung does not care for their customers. We bought brand new dishwasher from P.C. Richard & they will haul this Samsung dishwasher & install the new Whirlpool one. Now onward, we are not buying Samsung or neither our friends.

4 months ago my 14 month old Samsung electric stove went up in flames after setting the self cleaning oven on, went outside to let the dog out. I heard the fire alarm going off and smoke was coming out the windows. The fire started in the back of the computer it burned the microwave which was also a Samsung. I called Samsung and they sent a tech out a few days later. The tech said it was the computer. The Fire Marshall also agreed that the fire came from within the control panel. I called Samsung and they said they would take care of everything. We had estimates and sent pics, etc. They said they would pay for the cost of repairs to my home (est. $22,000.00). Samsung said we would have to send it to our insurance company, aka Samsung marine & fire. They were going to cut a check 2 months later. They continued to keep giving me the run around; stating oh we sent the stove Korea for inspection first. Guess what? Samsung said its my fault because we put something on the stove. But we are all liars but the folk in Korea, the fire marshall, the Samsung tech and the pics?? Im not done with Samsung yet. Im not a quitter!!!

I used to swear by all Samsung products and always stocked everything in my home with it. However, it seems that for the last 5 years their product quality has been on a downhill spiral. Ive read numerous reviews on the same problem that I was having and noticed that I wasnt the only one with the issue. I purchased the Samsung 24.5 cu. ft. Side by Side (RS25H5111SR). Retail is average of around $1600-$1800. I had to return it to the store after 30 days. Although it was functional as far as space, it not only hissed and popped at intervals, it also had a very loud and annoying gurgling sound that was very audible. It was making sounds about 90% of the time so this one had to go! Cant imagine why Samsung would even allow their name on this type of product. At least the store was cordial about returning the refrigerator and allowing a new purchase (with a different brand).

Our Samsung Dishwasher DW80F600UTS would not drain. I have had such bad experiences with service people, we almost just went and bought a new dishwasher figuring it would cost us that much anyway with the service call. Turns out we had 3 weeks left on the warranty so we gave it a go. Called Samsung service directly (the 800 number) and the tech just left. Just a sensor problem, and he installed an upgraded control panel. All covered under warranty. All it cost me was the tip! Great service. Nice guy. Clean cut, polite. VERY, VERY pleased.

We purchased a Samsung side-by-side refrigerator from Home Depot in Feb. 20
We purchased a Samsung side-by-side refrigerator from Home Depot in Feb. 2014. First problem - within weeks of purchase was that the vegetable drawer had no control for air/temp, fresh veggies died quickly, even carrots and root veggies. We bought $100 of special containers to be able to keep food as fresh as the old fridge. Then within the first two months, we began hearing the often-reported fan noise from ice buildup. This got worse over time and I finally called for service, also complaining about the veggie drawer. Prior to that scheduled service being performed, the next issue was the ice maker failing to shut off, even with the door open and jiggling the paddle switch. Another call to Samsung to add the new problem to the fan noise.Service arrived a week later, with a wrong ticket number, no warranty information, and no parts even for the known issue. The tech corrected the paperwork, inspected and ordered parts. Samsungs Andy then called me after the service to see if repairs were completed, and I told them of the problems with the unit, as well as Samsung not providing proper information for the tech so the service was a failure. I was told we could qualify for a buyback, which I said would be taken into consideration, and was there a time limit. I was told no time limit since the service issues were reported within the 1yr warranty period. When the parts arrived, I called Samsung to explain we were seriously considering the buyback, but were in process with the previous service issues, and should I allow the service to take place. I was told to allow the service and did so. The service was performed, both issues I reported separately were handled together on one ticket. The entire back panel housing the fan was iced up, which the tech confirmed is not normal. The ice maker continued to repeatedly dump ice without stopping, jam, freeze up and require removal, thawing and drying, even after the service.By this time we have opted for the buyback, and phoned Samsung to request it. This time I was told by executive customer service member John, that what Andy told me was not how the buyback worked. Buyback could only happen if the unit is deemed non-repairable with three repair attempts. I explained I already made three service calls, had two repairs, as well as complaints on the drawer issue, and other aspects of the design and quality that were proving very annoying. Another service call was scheduled. This time the tech arrived and was briefed on the history and issues, along with our desire to take the buyback. He ordered a new control panel, which arrived and was installed on yet another service call. The new control did not display properly and was defective. It was removed and the old one installed in its place. I immediately called Samsung to complain about their total failure, and was told they did not yet have the service information from the tech, it should be there in a day.I called a week later to inquire on status, and this time was told by exec c.s. rep, Sherry that not only were there not enough service calls and parts replaced to qualify for a buyback, she had no info from the service company on the service. When she said she had to check to see if we were within some 30 day time limit on the buyback, after having specifically asked two exec c.s. people about any time limitation, I was angry to say the least. There were more communications with Samsung on status of the buyback, process, requirements, schedule, and was given different stories and reasons every single time. I called on 11-10-14 to inquire the latest status of the most recent ticket regarding the buyback process, and the exec c.s. rep told me they had only one ticket on their records; I have at least seven ticket numbers for these issues, four of them being the 510-number range generated only at the executive level. When the tech arrived today, 11-12-14 I made it clear that the only resolution is deeming the unit unrepairable. Because one of our reported issued included cracks in the interior refrigerator walls, the tech was able to get a status of nonrepairable from Samsung. In doing so, the tech had to communicate with both his company and Samsung. The first Samsung rep he spoke to was extremely rude, and actually hung up on the tech. The tech called back, reached a supervisor, and with a few more calls finally got the nonrepairable status. Now I am waiting for Samsung to respond. Under California law, we have endured more than enough repair attempts to qualify for the Lemon Law requirement to buyback or replace the unit. Needless to say, for the combination of poor design, poor quality, and downright insulting customer service, there will never be another Samsung product in our home.Other problems with the unit included poor freezer door fit, hung crooked and uneven, gaps between the inner and outer shell where the door seal must fit, may allow warm air in. The tech showed me how the ice dispenser door does not seal properly and is not well insulated, also letting warm air into the freezer compartment.Another little surprise we got, partially because of the imperfect door hanging, is that we didnt get the freezer door shut all the way one night, and I found it in the early morning hours. Cleared out the ice maker so it wouldnt freeze solid, closed the door and left it alone. Checking in the morning, the display showed the set temp standard of -2F and 38F, so I thought all was well. But when I came in for some ice at 2pm and opened the door, the freezer was 58F with ice cream running on the floor. The unit did not reset without unplugging and replugging, a surprise because we had a power outage of several hours some time ago and the unit was fine.So if you are considering Samsung, I suggest not. As a coincidence, as the tech was here today, a friend called and I told him what was going on, beginning to describe the Samsung issues....before I could even get started, he chimed in with the same litany of problems I have experienced with his Samsung refrigerator. The independent service techs were all professional, and were sympathetic to our problems with Samsung. They did what they could to make it possible to allow us to get some resolution. Both techs who visited us multiple times have a very low opinion of Samsung and their products.

Samsung customer service is polite, contrite, and totally inept. I have now called 6 times to try to get burner caps (the little metal discs that go on top of the gas burner that make it work). The stove was delivered without them. The first time I called, the representative was so sorry and would send the missing parts in 2-3 weeks (!?). Meanwhile, I dont have a stove that works. I received the package after a couple of weeks and it contained 2 microwave or oven vent grates. So I called again. Representative was so sorry and would send the correct parts out in overnight express. I got the package, and it was 2 of the actual gas burners (which I already had) and the 2 larger burner caps.So now I have 2 burners that work, and 2 vent grates I dont need, and 2 gas burners that I dont need. So. I called again. Same thing. So sorry, send those right out. Never got anything. I called again. And again. And again. Seriously. Everytime I get an apology and a promise and then nothing arrives. ARGGG. How hard can it be???? And I still only have 2 working burners on a brand new range, over 4 months after installing it.

Purchased this model 2.5 years ago - have had issues with ice maker ever since. Do your research, issues with Samsung and ice makers (especially this unit) are all over the internet. The ice making function is pretty much so useless. On mine, like so many others (thousands) freezes up, literally turns into a block of ice. Overall, great design and functionality, however, for $2k I expect the ice maker to work.Samsung refuses to take any accountability, as a result, major class action lawsuit is underway by law firms and thousands of consumers to get them to do the right thing for their customers. Its all online, do your research. While I have owed and been quite happy with a number of Samsung Plasma TVs and LCDs, their responsiveness to this serious product issue with ice makers is nothing short of shameful. I had hoped to get it repaired, but a reputable (and Samsung certified warranty service) indicated that even after spending $500 on parts and labor, the problem will most likely continue. So, after spending $2k on this thing, and 2 1/2 years later, I will be buying a new refrigerator/freezer. And, as a result, I will never purchase another Samsung product again. Never. Do your own research, and look elsewhere.

I purchased the Samsung OTC Microwave SMH9087ST from Sears in 11-2010. The microwave started having problems. About 6 months later, it was showing SE error on the display and nothing would work. I got the troubleshooting info offline and it told how to flip the circuit breaker and reset it. I did that and once in a while, it worked but would always go back to SE error. In 12-2011, it began to randomly turn itself off and on in the middle of the night, and throughout the day. The light would kick on. The fan would turn on and off. It starts beeping. It has gotten so frightening we keep it unplugged now and it wont reset at all now. Sears says it is beyond the warranty when I called in Dec. 2011. I have seen tons of complaints posted on them but no one will do anything. Samsung is in denial and Sears is worthless. I have a $3000.00 5 yr old fridge. Every month, it starts getting extremely loud & we have to unplug it overnight to defrost then plug it back in again. When we called for support, they were no help so we live with the fact that we have to do this monthly to a really expensive refrigerator thats not that old. A few days ago, I was washing the largest shelf (plastic casing & tempered glass shelf) & when I rested the shelf on the counter to dry it, the glass just exploded into countless small shards of glass. I was in bare feet & cut myself trying to get out of the kitchen to get the broom. I called for the glass shelf & after getting told to call the parts dept. I was told that the glass shelf was never available on its own, the whole shelf was $155 part and discontinued so I was referred back to the original number to find out if there is a comparable part from a more current fridge that will work.I was routed to the U.S by the automated bot (I am in Canada) & after a 16min. phone call, I was told to call the same number again & make sure I was routed within Canada this time (how I was to do that, I have no idea). I called again & this time had to wait 30min. for a callback only to find out that they cant do anything except of course sell me another $3000 fridge if I wanted. This unit Model # NE595NOPBSR/AA Ser# JOW87DDC501585M was bought on 05/27/13. First breakdown occurred 08/21/13 front left burner defective. Second occurred 07/15/14 Bad inverter. Third was a bad display code E-84 06/29/15! The Samsung company stated they had extended the warranty after the second repair, and could not do any more. As others have reported Samsung warranty is worthless. They define paint defects as cosmetic and therefore NO coverage. They wouldnt even send me the Control panel cover which I would reinstall. The heating elements work fine as does oven... so far. But I will never buy Samsung ANYTHING ever again.

Dishwasher never cleaned that well. After one year, error message flashing blue lights. Samsung paid for the service. Their service tech company replaced epoxy-filled circuit board. It worked for two months and then an error message flashing blue lights. Service tech said it is a design flaw, so keep replacing parts will not make it right. Samsung would not give me a contact name to resolve the issue. I bought from Sears and they no longer carry many Samsung dishwashers, and would not answer my questions about the quality of this product.

We purchased a Samsung black stainless steel French door refrigerator 6 months ago. We love the fridge but it was time to change the water filter (water and ice in the door). I just found out I have to SHUT OFF THE WATER SUPPLY TO CHANGE THE FILTER--- MAJOR DESIGN FLAW. I either have to pull the fridge out from the wall (big fridge -- hard to do) or shut the main water valve off at the street. Thats just wrong... What a pain just to change the water filter every 6 months.

We bought Samsung, French Door Refrigerator (Model No. 220NCTASE/AA) in January, 2014 from local Leons. Its working fine, but two days we noticed the fridge is not cool as usual and I adjusted the temperature to make cooler, same as for the freezer. And it seemed nothing happens after 24 hours. Then I tried unplugged and re-plugged the power, and waited another 24 hours, I still cant feel any cold air from the fridge and freezer. I am for sure its stopped work just after two years.I then called Samsung support 1-800 phone number and got answered with 10 minutes, unexpected really short wait time. The girl said that she needs to transfer to technical support number. Well after 30 minutes of waiting I got hung up. I re-called the 1-800 phone number again, it happens the same. I tried to re-called the 1-800 from my cell phone and got the same hung up. This is really frustrated getting technical support from Samsung. How could be a big company like Samsung with BAD customer services? The bad thing is that we recently bought a Samsung washer. Well, from now on we will stay away from Samsung brand.

From the time we purchase the refrigerator, there were problems with non-functioning icemaker, leaking water that froze at the bottom of the inside compartment, and worst of all, a refrigerator that when set on 44 degrees would freeze down below 32 degrees! This is an update to my previous post on my 3 and 1/2 year old fridge that quit working. I filled out a form from the Samsung site on the issue with the fridge and got a stock *received* form type letter back on the 18th. There was no mention of repairs, how to handle the problem, or if they were going to do anything. When I was on their website, it said the fridge was out of warranty and when I searched for appliance repair dealers, I got 0 results back. After reading pages of complaints all over the web with the same issues (bad ice makers, and the cooling issue), we decided we would not throw good money after bad in trying to fix it. We bought a new top rated GE (which will be delivered next month as we wanted a very specific model) and on 12-23, Lowes hauled the broken Samsung off (to the dump I guess). After the fridge was gone, later that evening, we get a UPS delivery of an envelope with a generic return address. We have no idea who sent it, instructions, nothing but a part; a temperature sensor that plugged into something. So I google the address and find its a Sears warehouse. I call them and they look up the order number and say its a Samsung part. So, I get a temp sensor, no idea it was even being sent from Samsung who when I look at my account online with my complaint, says the action was cancelled by **me** on 12-18. To say this whole thing has been frustrating is a big understatement. In fact, I am not sure a new sensor would have even fixed the problem from what I have been reading all over the internet.

I purchased a 3 door Samsung refrigerator with ice maker 3 years ago. The refrigerator is junk. It freezes up making clucking jarring sounds because of the ice build up. It leaks under the crisper drawers and on to the floor outside of the fridge. I have contacted Samsung for the last 6 months. They asked me to allow them to pay a service tech to come fix it. The service tech broke the fridge and had me pay $400 to fix it. Still does the same thing. Samsung asked to pay for another repair but their techs could not make an appointment that was convenient for me then told me to use a tech in my area to state the fridge was unrepairable. I did so and paid $85. Now they are telling me that it is a seal problem and that I am either leaving my doors open or the doors are not on properly. I have since purchased a Maytag and threw the Samsung off my back porch. Samsung creates ticket numbers and closes them never returning phone calls or emails. Showing they are the guilty party in the problem with this fridge. I currently have had another ticket escalated to ask to pay for what I have put out because they asked me to do this in order to resolve the issue. $481. They just give you the runaround once again proving they are guilty of knowing that these are junk. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING SAMSUNG.

Purchase a Samsung Dishwasher DMT300RFS about 2 years ago. It worked fine for 1 year. We started having issues with it cleaning the dishes and glassware. We tried different detergents and cleaning products with no success. Then it stopped working altogether. The instrument panel codes said that it was a drain pump problem so I replaced the drain pump. It would not start and displayed a new code leak sensor. I took the dishwasher apart again, but did not see any water. I made sure that the sensor was dry and put the machine back together. Still will not work. My last dishwasher was a GE and it lasted about 10 years with no problems. Samsung makes junk, do not buy.

My Samsung RSG257AARS (purchased 2013) counter depth refrigerator completely turns off (front display, interior lights - both sides, and compressors) when outside temps start to warm up. This happened 1 time approx. after a year of ownership, already out of warranty by that point by the way. During the cool months it never shuts off. Again a little more frequently the following year. Now the first warm day in April its already started again.I have tried contacting their Samsung customer service line, which they told me it was out of warranty of course, I would be responsible for all charges. The Authorized Service center would have to Diagnose the problem, I will have to miss a day of work $$. Then order part, reschedule repair, miss another day of work $$. Pay for all of this and pray it fixes problem. The ice maker has never been sufficient during the months when you need ice the most, this has been a constant complaint on many forums. Totally dissatisfied with this product and will never purchase a Samsung product.

We just bought (September 2019 ) a 23 cu ft Samsung Model RF23R6201. The freezer operates at 15 degrees Fahrenheit higher temperature than it should! It is supposed to be at minus 5 degrees Fahrenheit but it is actually at plus 10 degrees Fahrenheit (I have verified this with two Refrigerator Thermometers). A Samsung repairman came by a couple of days ago (after a one week delay!) and supposedly fixed the problem with a software update which did not improve the performance of the Refrigerator at all! Needless to say, the ice maker does not work either! Furthermore the Refrigerator (deceptively?) indicates an inaccurate value for the freezer temperature. STAY AWAY FROM SAMSUNG REFRIGERATORS! I have had issues with my icemaker since the day the warranty expired. Note that we are only talking a 1 year warranty! The on-line blogs all indicate that Samsung knows they made a poor quality product. I have a home appliance repair service that I pay a monthly fee for and they also acknowledge that people are having problems with the Samsung refrigerators all over the metro where I live. When I call into Samsung to have them do the right thing and replace a $110 part they simply indicate that the product is out of warranty. We have purchased a Samsung slide-in range double oven ($1842.29), model (NE58F9710WS/AA) (1 year warranty plus 1 year extended warranty), on 8/22/2015. First time, I did use the self cleaning function. First issue: The TCO (=partition part MELTED in the back of the stove). Technician came: diagnosis 4/4/16, fixed 4/11/16 and 4/26/16. I have been told to use steam cleaning function instead of self cleaning option!!! But one of my criteria purchase always has been to buy an oven with self cleaning function which is so opened to work properly and safely. Second time I did use the self cleaning function (5/31/2016), halfway (1 hour 10 min) thru (3 hours in manual) the control panel died, the oven door locked, the range, the stone countertop, the kitchen cabinets, the glass backsplash way too, too hot!!Calling right away 18007267864. The customer service told me to wait at least 8 hours to let the oven cool down. I couldnt believe my ears. Next day, oven door still locked, calling again customer service explaining I didnt trust anymore this product, asking for an exchange or refund, refusing a repair service. Samsung product Review denied my request over a long week fight with agents, supervisors, executive from customer service, I had no other choice than accepting a service repair or keeping an useless range-oven. Technician came (6/9/2016), diagnosis temperature sensor BROKE, got it fixed. Technician witnessed our closest kitchen cabinet from oven have been damaged by the excessive heat!! 2 hazard issues in less in 2 months!! I think it is a huge safety hazard. Now, I am questioning about the safety of my home because of the Samsung cheaply constructed range oven.

Ice dispenser went crazy and was dispensing ice inadvertently into the kitchen floor. 542 dollars later, new front panel with control board, now will not make ice. A&E/Sears made an effort to repair and 3 days later, still no ice. Repair tech said there is a service bulletin if my unit was made 2 months earlier, but parts are still over 500 dollars. First Samsung doesnt deserve 1 star, and Pacific sales where I bought this isnt much better. I bought the top end Samsung appliances because I was told these were great and the service would be much better than the service reputation they have on other appliances. Well I guess better than bad is still bad. Had the micro/oven installed in Feb of 2018 and its been a nightmare ever since. More than a dozen e-mails and same # of phone calls, three times they tried to replace the door, first time repairman brought the wrong item, the second time the store called me to pick up the new door and it was the wrong door, this last time two service men came out and again the wrong door was delivered. Dont bother calling the service center. They are totally useless. My contractor cracked my Samsung cooktop and we tried working with the service department for over 5 months to get a replacement part of new unit to be covered by my contractor (not under the warranty), again it was a total joke, dont have the parts so My contractor replaced it with another brand. I would die and go to hell before I bought another Samsung appliance. Please learn from my mistake and buy any brand but Samsung.

I purchased this Samsung convection microwave (MC11K70355) about 4 weeks ago at Best Buy. It was considerably more money than I wanted to spend but offered lots of useful features. I found it easy to use, powerful and a very good addition to my kitchen. Baking and roasting are a breeze with this thing. The slim fry function is very nice for cooking and frying vegetables in very light oil. The unit failed a week ago when the grill stop working. Samsung had a technician out the next day who diagnosed a poor connection to the grill which ended up shorting out. It took a week to get parts, they replaced the grill the wiring harness and the front panel computer. Despite the problems I am very happy with this microwave. I just left it alone as I had a deep freezer. Just hoped the fridge part would continue to work. Well as of today February 2, 2016 it has quit as well. I again called Samsung and no kidding was on phone for over an hour only to be told Too bad. Sorry for the inconvenience but we are not fixing it. What a crock! I purchased a whole suite of Samsung products less than 2 years ago. The washing machine has a slow leak, the oven works ok, however the fridge is a nightmare. Ours broke after a year and a half and we were told that it is way out of warranty. I kind of expected a handle to last more than 19 months. On top of that there is no easy fix. It isnt just replacing the handle. Its all of the mechanics in the door, they actually told me via chat that this is not something you can fix. Same thing, different person. Fridge Model RF217ACRS, manufactured in 2011. Problem started in 2014. Samsung refuses to pay for repair even though original chat transcript with Samsung Support inferred they will stand behind their product, after creating a ticket for me even though the fridge was out of warranty. Problem Description: Fridge coils freezing up, causing fan to rub on ice making a loud noise. Defrosted it multiple times, problem comes back within a week or 2. A&E Services wanting to charge $361 for the repair of what they claim is a $12 sensor. A&E Factory Services tech also told me that this is the cause of 90% of the problems reported regarding Samsung refrigerators. My guess... A&E and any other Samsung Authorized Service Center is being paid off by Samsung to cover-up the actual fault, which may lie with the evaporator, as if the water is drained/evaporated correctly, should not build up as ice on the coils, in my unprofessional opinion. Keep in mind, the evaporator is covered under the Samsung 5-year warranty, but the $12 sensor is not, and their repair techs will charge you out the *you know what* ($360) to replace it. I will never buy another Samsung device as long as I live, and I will steer all my friends and family away from them.

Oh I didnt mention all the loud rumbling noises every time you used the water dispenser.Today, June 7, 2018, after a week of no ice, and scheduling a repairman to come out (diagnostic fee of $100 non-refundable, nor applied to cost of repairs), the repairman cancelled after finding out it was a Samsung with Ice Maker problems. He informed us of the lawsuits. We called Samsung to no avail. We have to use their contracted repairman who does not work for Samsung. Very dissatisfied at this time.

I have a seven-month old Samsung dishwasher and it would not clean dishes well. I had to run it two to three times. I also had to repair it twice. I am now waiting for the third repair. Samsung says that they do not return products.

Purchased a Samsung dishwasher just 2 days over a year ago. Have had good service until this morning. Started the unit and went to bed. This morning the unit was filled with water, the dishes were dirty, and the front panel light with Quick was flashing. After doing some internet research, I cleared the water from the tub and inspected the filter. No help. Next, I checked the exhaust hose for any blockage. No help. Then I found this site...... Apparently, Ive purchased a pile of junk for a washing machine. Does anyone on this site have a dishwasher they can recommend? (Must have a good 10 years of service --- My old Kenmore lasted 30 years.)

I would never recommend Samsung products and the customer service is completely lame. I have a Samsung washing machine that had a recall because the drum wobbled so much. It wobbled so much that it loosened a hose and poured water all over my house…. My laundry is on my second level and I have a cat walk that water poured down into my living room and hallway on my first level and ran through my ceiling on my first level and through my walls down to my basement…leaving water spots on my first level ceiling and damaging several ceiling tiles in my finished basement. I didn’t notice all of the damage and the damaged tiles in the basement until months later when I had another issue with the washing machine and Samsung sent a third-party service company out here to repair it. They repaired the machine and left. Unfortunately, the service company called, Unique Repair (who I would never recommend, as they do not stand behind their work) managed to forget to connect the hose, which led to another incident of water pouring from my second level down my first level and through my walls to the basement. Fortunately, I was able to get the service techs back quickly to stop the machine and drain it, although the damage had already been done. We went into the basement; the service tech also taking his own photos. This second time around the water even damaged more basement ceiling tiles and left stains on my first level ceiling. Both companies, the service company and Samsung are trying to put the blame on each other. How lame of Samsung, since it is Samsung’s faulty washing machine, under warranty and Samsung sent the third party out here to represent them. The first time it happened it was solely on Samsung. The second time on the repair company. Either way, somebody should be responsible for the damage caused in my house. I have suggested to both companies that they split it, but they do not respond and or communicate with each other. Samsung does not stand behind their products. I am an innocent consumer that has been extremely inconvenienced twice by this Samsung washing machine and damage caused to my home, and Samsung support has been completely lame. Nonresponsive and not willing to provide any resolution. I would never recommend purchasing from Samsung. The last I spoke to Samsung customer support she was closing my case, I had no previous knowledge that my case was being closed, because it had been two weeks and she wanted me to provide quotes for the repair. During the world crisis going on it was difficult to get someone out here to quote me on the repair. Actually, It was against the law at the time, as nonessential workers would be fined if working during that time. I finally provided her with one quote and waiting to get another, so she would reopen the case, and she has not responded to me. I’ve reached out multiple times with no response. Seriously, what kind of company operates like this? I am a business owner myself and I would never treat my clients/customers this way. I stand behind my work. I’ve had to spend numerous hours dealing with both companies and getting nowhere. When I did nothing to cause this situation. I’m sure they are hoping to wear me down.

On March 15, 2013 we bought a Samsung French Door Smart Refrigerator (model # RF263BEAEWW/AA) from Home Depot, along with a 5-yr extended warranty. The ice maker was a little loud, but we could live with it. It was the perfect size, and had everything we needed. One yr and 10 months after we bought it, it stopped working on Dec. 23. There is only 2 people in our household, so it was not like someone was in and out of the refrigerator all day. On Dec. 29 the repairman came out and he said we needed a new compressor and he had to order the part. On Jan 12 the repairman returned with the compressor, but then said the freon had leaked out (which he could have found if he had brought the proper tools on the 1st visit) and as a result had spewed oil into all the coils and now everything had to be replaced, and he needed to order the parts! On Jan 16, we were told the parts would be in on Jan. 20..but by Jan. 30 they had not come in and we were told they were on back order. At this point, we had been without a refrigerator for ONE month! Home Depot finally reimbursed us for the cost of what we paid for the refrigerator, but it wasnt enough to cover a like model, in another brand. Once we knew the refrigerator could not be fixed, we wanted to return 2 Samsung water filters we had bought last year, to the cost of $154.00. The boxes have never been opened, but when I called Samsung parts representative, J & J International, they said they were unreturnable. Apparently, you only have 30 days to return parts, even if unopened! I will NEVER buy another Samsung product again. Buyer beware, their products get good reviews, but if anything happens, it is impossible to get parts or any customer satisfaction!!
