RF4287HA Refrigerator cannot be repaired - 2 1/2 years old. Loved this refrigerator until I got error code on display one day. Called for Service. Technical came and said unit could not be repaired. He called Samsung and after they spoke, he told me Samsung would call to make arrangements to exchange unit. Told they would even take the old unit back at the same time. Received call today from Samsung requesting receipt. I was then told that Samsung will only be refunding me for the purchase price prorated from the time of purchase. I feel like I was misled and that Samsung does not stand behind their products. I will now be going out tonight to purchase a new refrigerator. It will NOT be a Samsung.

I want to alert people to the poor quality and service performance associated with Samsung appliances. We purchased our Samsung French door refrigerator 3 years ago as part of a kitchen remodel. In 3 years we have already had +$700 of repairs and service calls. Within 2 years the defrosting system failed, leaking on our new floor and the door closing mechanism has failed. Service was poor and costly. Overall a horrible experience with Samsung appliances and service. I do not want others to not benefit from this costly and miserable experience. Save yourself the time, money and aggravation - do not buy Samsung.

Samsung has great TVs... That is all!!!! My refrigerator is a Samsung counter depth freezer drawer on the bottom and meat cheese drawer in the middle. 1. In order to change the water filter you need to turn off the water to the fridge; that means pulling it out of the wall pocket every six months minimum.. Joke.. 2. The veggie storage drawers trap food and mold. 3. It is the cheapest refrigerator by far; drawers in freezer come off track all the time.. 4. Freezer is a bottomless pit. 5. It doesnt fit anything.. Be very aware. The dishwasher rinse aid piece broke and the technician said I have to be more gentle.. How about Ive never broken one in my 50 years of buying dishwashers; they usually have a slide door instead of a cheap piece of plastic..The stove, you lean up against it to put something away and the gas goes on and you dont even realize it.. The clothes washing machine traps hair in the drain of the door; constantly removing debris.. Lastly, the dryer worst lint drawer every, you have to pull it out and pry it apart every time to clean it. Stick with TVs SAMSUNG.. Go for GE Profiles or Whirlpool... Stay away from SAMSUNG!!!

I purchased this model in May of 2016. For the past 6 months it randomly works. The screen flashes 777s sometimes, sometimes nothing at all and currently has completely stopped working altogether and the screen shows C-FO. It was an expensive microwave purchased with 2 other black stainless Samsung products, one being a $2500 refrigerator that has quit producing ice. Ive contacted Samsung and they will not stand behind their products. Very dissatisfied and will never recommend any of their products.

In 2010 our old dishwasher refused its duty after nearly 10 years of work. It was an AEG/Whirlpool and it made his work properly. So my wife and I decided to buy a new one. At last we gave the Samsung DW-SG720T a try and expected the same performance. First both of us discovered that nearly every dish was not clean at all. We changed the program to the hottest possible cleaning, but the machine did not meet the minimum requirements for cleaning knifes that are simply covered with peanut butter. This night (!) the machines front door stood open, after cleaning and after nearly 5 (five) hours ending the cleaning program without errors, the machine started to turn on the pump and made a signal while showing OE. My wife and I woke up, got downstairs in the kitchen and I had to turn off the fuse to stop it - it has been 1:20 am in the morning. Thanks a lot, Samsung! OE means overflow error but in fact there is no water in the machine after draining. I am angry about this piece of **. My recommendation is: Samsung? Hands off! I am interested in what the support is trying to tell me. Next time: AEG/Whirlpool, which is the same here in Germany.

Purchasing Fridge in winter season and building a supply of 2 full bins of ice. We had a warm spring weekend Sat & Sun. Sunday night I went to get some Ice, both bins completely empty. I thought wife turned it off. Nope still on, so I kept an eye on it and the dang thing dont make much Ice. Called Samsung, they said “Push power freeze button.” I asked, “How much more Ice will it produce?” They had no idea so I did not much improvement. Bought a used fridge with Ice maker for garage, makes 2 to 3x more. Now my drain for fridge freezes, water runs under bottom drawer ¼”, ice drawer wont open eventually water on floor now. I have to take apart, unfreeze drain, put back together. I have replaced defrost thermostat, had a repairman fix it 1x and Ive done it 3x and tired of it. Dont buy a Samsung.

My husband & I renovated 2 apartments in 2012 and purchased new appliances from Best Buy -- 2 French door refrigerators, microwave/cook oven -- to the tune of a $3,500 to $4,000. We thought this manufacturer had a trustworthy reputation, thus we bought their brand name. Unfortunately, problems abound with our refrigerator & microwave. The microwave required servicing as did the refrigerator. The freezer is cold but refrigerator is warm. Calls to the service department have been frustrating. Someone was to get back to us -- but didnt. In a total bureaucratic manner one blames the other for incompetency and POOR SAMSUNG SERVICE. Tell your family, friends, neighbors and even people you dont know well -- DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG PRODUCTS.

Same continuous issue with our Samsung refrigerator model RF28HMEDBWW. At least 3 service calls (maybe more) and now we have been waiting for 3 weeks to get the ice maker part replaced. Ice maker continuously freezes up and wont dispense ice... frustrating! Customer service is terrible. No one calls back from the service company or the warranty company to let us know the status. Waiting now to see if the part can even be ordered... maybe not available any longer, not sure. Luckily I purchased the extended warranty. Well see what happens. I do not recommend this refrigerator.

Have had problems with the bottom freezer frosting since the first year of purchase. We had techs service it several times. We were told nothing is wrong but still frosting. We also had a problem with our Samsung dishwasher as well. Brand new appliances with issues.

We purchased an expensive Samsung refrigerator a few years ago. The ice maker had a mind of its own... sometimes it worked, most of the time it did not. Then the temps in freezer and fridge started fluctuating between -2F to 61F. I contacted Samsung and they advised there isnt any service in rural southern Mississippi where we live. I spoke with two different appliance repair independents and neither wanted to work on a Samsung. Basically the problem is too many sensors throughout the fridge. They were willing to work on it but would not guarantee the work. One in fact told me to buy a new fridge other than Samsung. The other guy told me Samsungs were basically a computer with a freezer and fridge attached. There are codes to reset which are not available to the buyer.

In August 16, we bought a Samsung French Door, Bottom Freezer Refrigerator Model RF260BEAESR/AA from Sears. After only 6 weeks, the refrigerator broke down. We contact Samsung for a warranty repair, but it took them 2 trips and 10 days before the unit was working again. During that time, we lost a great deal of food (and it would have been more if not for my wifes planning and ingenuity). For the 10 days that we had no refrigerator, we lived out of coolers filled with ice. When Samsung contacted us to send our expenses that they would cover under the warranty, they initially said that they would pay only $200. Then they said they could cover the full $227.10, or up to $250 due to our inconvenience. Then, they called up and said that they would only cover $160. They said that they wouldnt cover the $60 in ice that kept our food safe for 10 days, because ice is just water and we dont cover water. Unbelievable!

I purchased a Samsung slide in electric range almost 3 weeks ago. Within 10 days, the oven warming burner and clock all stopped working. We had a Samsung tech come out three days later. After testing the unit, he determined that both boards in the unit were bad and needed to be replaced. He left us telling us the parts would be ordered and he would be back about midweek to make the repairs. That evening we decided to use the cooktop on the stove since it was the only thing working. We were making hamburgers in an All clad pan. When we finished cooking I went to wipe the cooktop and that is when I noticed the crack. It ran from front to back on the cooktop. We contacted the tech again and he asked for pictures of the cooktop. We waited a few days and were surprised to hear that Samsung was not going to cover the cooktop. I was quite upset and contacted the company only to be given the runaround. I was told that they could would not authorize the repair even though I explained that we did not dry boil a pan on the cooktop as Samsung alleges we did. To top it all off, now Samsung wont authorize replacements of the boards for the oven. So now we have an 1800.00 range in our kitchen that displays the time set by the technician last Saturday. It hasnt moved since then!

The freezer on my refrigerator went out 2 months ago. I purchased a warranty and the company Avauxco still can not get the part. If Samsung really appreciated and cared about their customers, they would do something to make this horrible situation right. I was a loyal customer since I purchased a washer/dryer, dishwasher, and phone. NEVER will I purchase another Samsung product. And I plan to tell everyone at the store how Samsung treats their customers. They do not back their products at all.

We purchased a new Samsung refrigerator in July, 2015 and immediately noticed loud popping and cracking noises. I contacted Samsung and was told this was normal due to our purchase of a model with automatic defrost. (Is there a manufacturer that still makes a manual defrost refrigerator?) No help here, so later I began a Live Chat on Samsungs website to again register my complaint. I was eventually given a link to request a service technician to come and examine the refrigerator. The link failed and I lost all contact with the rep. I then called the service request department and had a long conversation with a nice lady that again confirmed that the noise was normal. I donated a 20 year old Whirlpool that I wish I could get back and dump this Samsung. Never will I ever consider buying any other Samsung product.

We bought all new Samsung appliances one year ago. From the beginning the oven(s) would not maintain a consistent temperature. We took out the divider to make it a single oven as someone suggested, but that did not help. Two different service companies came and changed the thermostat and everything else they could to no avail. The last tech said he was sure the company would replace the stove because of the wild fluctuation in oven temperature, but he was wrong. The company said that a 30 degree variation in temperature was within acceptable parameters. I would like to see them bake something edible within their acceptable parameters. We are now stuck with a $3000 lemon.

I purchased the Samsung refrigerator from Sears 1/5/2012. It was a very costly purchase - $2500.00. Shortly after I had it, the ice maker didnt freeze/chill well. That issue was addressed. Then the ice maker didnt give an adequate supply of ice. Apparently, the computer screen/mechanics that controls that was replaced by Samsung. The repairman stated it would need replacing again because the set was all wrong. The ice is not making ice again. It was replaced April 27, 2013.The make-up of the dispensing controls appears to be set up for failure from the beginning. The ice and water are sort of piggybacked to each other and something within this or the computerized screen will not allow them both to work. I have contacted Samsung and they have not attempted to reach out to me to resolve this problem with their product.

I bought the Samsung electric range NE59J7630 1-1/2 years ago. It has the worst range top I have ever used. It is impossible to get a low simmer on the front burners. It can not be turned down low enough. I had the temperature modular replaced once, but it still can not be regulated low enough. This is either a very bad design flaw or the glass is not thick enough. The suggestion was heavy clad bottom pans, which I was already using. This model should be recalled as I feel it could at some point cause a fire.

I bought a package deal of Samsung appliances when I moved into a new home. Fridge, Microwave, Stove and dishwasher. After 3 months the dishwasher started to leak. We had numerous service calls to fix it. It would be fixed for a short time and then leak again. At one point it quit completely. We had to shut the breaker off because it just kept flashing and beeping. Eventually they deemed it unfixable and was to issue us a check for the cost of the dishwasher in March 2017. We have yet to see a check 6/24/2017 and the dishwasher is completely unusable as it has flooded our kitchen and warped my wood floors prior to that... We were given a number to contact for Samsung claims for the floors and after many call, and told we would have someone call back they have NEVER CONTACTED US.The Samsung fridge started making noises about 6 weeks ago... (How convenient after the year warranty). Anyway I had the repair man come out last week and he informed me that there are 5, yes 5 recalls on the parts. It is Currently in my kitchen completely unusable. These appliances are less than a year and a half old. This is not ok... It is unacceptable to sell crap like this at the price it is and get away with it. I AM NOT MADE OF MONEY. NOR HAVE I EVER BOUGHT A KITCHEN FULL OF APPLIANCES. SO IT WAS EXCITING... It continues to freeze up inside interior cabinet and has to be taken apart to melt the ice from mechanical parts to be able to keep it working. It also freezes in Ice maker and has to be defrosted with a hairdryer. The ice maker has replaced 2 times and the freezer door broke and that cost me over 500$ to replace. All they will discuss tell me to call service to repair at my cost. This was a 3000$ refrigerator and a French door model. I have reported it BBB but that didnt gain anything. I had bought Samsung fridge freezer side by side and bought quite early as it was on special offer and our home had just started the renovation. So when the delivery came did not open as we put trust on the consumer products and because it was dusty in the house. I just kept it in the box. Once the renovation was done opened the box so excitedly and what do I see? Big dent on the door and small dent on the side of the fridge. We rang Samsung straight away and explained to them what we found and why we delayed on opening the box. But they did not want to know as it was over 28 days. I ask them to just replace the door and that has big dent but No. We have families and friends come to visit us and they see the dent on the door and they laugh. Not on us but on Samsung, and they say See SAMSUNG ARE NOT GOOD.There is no reliability that Samsung offers to their customers after the product is sold. Reading all the other reviews, looks like these problems are just a beginning. I have Samsung products that we have are phones, TV, DVD recorder. We have had issue only with our Samsung fridge freezer, but with this experience we promised ourselves not to purchase any Samsung merchandise in the future. Very very poor service from Samsung home appliance and customer relations. We purchased the Samsung RF28HDEDBSR/AA. One of the reasons we purchased this refrigerator is because of the great rating on Consumer Guide. The ice maker has a problem with water leaking into the maker and then freezing so it completely stops the making process, I had to pull out the maker & chip away at the frozen ice (think before self defrosting freezers), not a fun time. The ice maker when working dispensed the ice horribly. I had a tech here & he said they see this problem all the time and would never recommend a Samsung fridge because of the huge design flaw in the ice maker, there is no way to repair/fix the problem. He recommended LG or GE, We purchased an LG, and no problems, I have the Samsung in the garage as a 2nd fridge (no water to it). I have a friend I visited a month ago, she has the same problem! Updated on 08/02/2018: It has continually built up of ice, under the ice maker every 5/6 weeks. Have notice partially melted ice in the storage bucket, in which it jams the ice dispenser. Either I use a hair dryer to defrost or chip the sheet of ice off the ice maker. To free the ice out of the ice maker bucket I run warm water through it. Have updated the motherboard, and replaced the ice maker twice. With one new revision, that has a physical square rectangle water intake housing. None of these parts fixed my problems!Original review: I have a Samsung Refrigerator model RF263BEAESRAA purchased on 6/13. Ice seems to build up on bottom of ice maker & also around ice dispenser rod to the point in which itll freeze solid & will no longer dispense ice. Every week Im having to dump out semi-melted ice out of the ice jammed dispenser & ice thats build up thats located under the ice maker. Having replaced ice maker, motherboard, auger motor & fan assembly. Its still doing the same thing as far as ice building up.

Read my title and that should give you an idea of how great my Samsung product isn’t. I sadly own a Samsung French door refrigerator. Ive had it for a year and no less than seven problems with it. Giant buzzing noises, Ice forming under drawers so you can’t open them, trays in the doors falling out and smashing to the ground together with all my salad dressings etc ... The writing on the Inside of the fridge wiping off the day I got it... The dividers held in place with sticky tape! The shelves not fitting properly ... It’s the worst made and designed fridge ever. But worst of all you can’t clean under some of the glass ... You just can’t. With much difficulty (Takes two people) you can take the section out but you still can’t clean under the glass. So the only thing you can do is soak your fridge In the bath. It’s seriously appalling. Appalling - and the way Samsung says there’s nothing they can do ... is the stuff of nightmares- It’s insane making. I have green slime under the glass of my fridge- that you can’t clean - It’s a health hazard and Samsung don’t care. They called the problem cosmetic. My health and cleanliness of where I store my food is not cosmetic. As soon as I can get rid of this poorly / cheaply made badly designed fridge I will. Do not buy this product. In fact judging how it’s taken me a Year to get anything done anything- I would never ever buy Samsung again either.

We bought this Samsung dishwasher DMT300RFB from Best Buy 1-1/2 years ago. The water sensor keeps going out. We have fought with Samsung and their contracted service repair (Sears) and they want to charge us as much to fix it this time to replace this part for the third time as what we paid for this thing. I will never buy another Samsung product. I hope other people will heed this warning and not buy their products.

Sure wish we had done some research before buying a Samsung fridge. After 3 years ours was getting so much water in the veggie drawers and in the freezer we had to defrost it. Had so much ice built up that the freezer drawer would not shut tight. I called Samsung and they had never heard of this problem. This is B.S. They dont listen. I will never buy another Samsung product. Should have stayed with Kenmore. Have never had a problem with their fridges. Our Samsung is a double door with the freezer on the bottom. We purchased it in Oct. 2014. I will let family & friends know DO NOT BUY A SAMSUNG.

Purchased this dishwasher 2 years ago, nothing but trouble. Doesnt dry properly, the LED control started to fail, now it starts then drains and shuts down. These units do not run past 2 years. Samsung wont help you with anything once out of the 1 year warranty. Nothing but a piece of junk. Just like the other comments these electronics do not stand up. These units should be priced out at $100 rather than $1000. There should be a class action suit placed on this manufacturer for selling poor quality products.

Dryer has been repaired three times, ice maker in fridge replaced and still has to be defrosted every month to work. The stove in the start of the second year of ownership has had all circuit boards replaced. In 2018 the convection fan was replaced and yesterday, April 17/2020 the two right side elements have stopped working. Never never never again! They look great and have all the bells and whistles - wait until you have to deal with them!!!

The microwaves fan has come on by itself, and 7 seconds appears on the microwave as well. This is a top of the line microwave (Model # ME21K701DS). After reading some of the reviews, I spoke with Samsung. Samsung will not fix the issue since it was no longer under warranty. No recalls on this microwave issue. The microwave was purchased, November 2016 - this should not be happening. Yet this appears to be happening to many other Samsung customers. This appears to be a malfunction - is there anything that Samsung will do?

I am having the same freezer issue with my 2 1/2 year old Samsung refrigerator! This is ridiculous! I replaced my 14 year old GE Profile refrigerator with this one! I never had an issue with my GE and Ive had nothing but issues with my Samsung appliances. A couple of months ago, the dryer had an electrical (NOT lint) fire so I had to buy another dryer and chose to replace my Samsung washer same time...and they were only 4 years old. I called customer service and she asked Anyone hurt or was there property damage? When I said no, thankfully I was at home and unplugged it before the fire trucks got there... she said... sorry. Your 4 year old dryer is out of warranty! She wanted to document any damage in case there would be a lawsuit. I dont care if its out of warranty or not... NO appliance should catch on fire. I dont care how old it is! Now... my freezer is not working and I lost all my frozen food. I called Samsung last night when I discovered it and she tried a couple of things with me then referred me to a dealer that is 2 hours away! They need to own it and take responsibility by providing recalls/repairs. I will never buy another Samsung appliance again! Samsung does NOT stand by their products. Period.

I bought a suite a Samsung appliances 13 months ago. These were middle-of-the-road appliances costing around $4000 for a suite of 4 appliances. During the first 12 months of ownership, the refrigerator broke 4 times and the dishwasher broke 4 times. The appliances were warrantied for 1 year. Dealing with Samsung on the phone was outlandishly bad. I spent over 12 overs on the phone over the course of 3 days getting the last repair order for both refrigerator and dishwasher straight! 12 hours!!! I asked to be compensated for my time as that was completely unreasonable. 2 managers assured me Id be emailed a form to submit, neither sent the form. At this moment, my dishwasher is again broken. The tub has cracked and is leaking. Again, my appliances are now 13 months old! Ive never dealt with a company like this, and find the quality of their products absolutely abysmal. SAMSUNG PRODUCTS SUCK AS DOES THEIR SERVICE. TRUST ME; DONT BUY SAMSUNG. Samsung products are junk and their customer service ranks as horrible.

We paid almost $700.00 for this dw80f600uts dishwasher, first trouble within 6 months of installation. We contacted Samsung. We basically got the run-around until the dishwasher was out of warranty. They told us they would send a technician but we were never contacted back. We have an extremely busy schedule and I cannot afford to take a day off work so someone can look at my dishwasher. This dishwasher was one of the more expensive dishwashers when we purchased it. We were told it was extremely high quality, better than BOSCH which was in the same price range. We had a Bosch at our old home. It lasted 6 years (may still be running today?) without a problem.

However, the freezer never seemed to cool cold enough to freeze ice cream as well as pools of water under my cheese drawer in the fridge section. We love our Samsung Smart French Door refrigerator! It is counter-depth, with the black fingerprint resistant finish. Beautiful appliance that really looks fantastic in our kitchen. This refrigerator has a surprisingly large food capacity. It has the 4-zone drawer, adjustable shelves, ice maker and water in the door. One of my absolutely favorite feature of this refrigerator though is the built-in pitcher inside of the door. It can be used as a fruit infusion pitcher and it automatically refills itself! The bottom freezer has two drawers with separations and makes organization easy.

We bought this fridge in 10/2008 when we remodeled our kitchen. The valve has been leaking a while according to the insurance adjuster who denied our claim because of the length of time it leaked and because the valve is defective we are now looking at having to replace valve, floor 2 cabinets and some subfloor. We bought this appliance knowing it would be great. We have many Samsung items and like the quality. But we are disappointed that this happened. We are struggling with life as it is my husband was diagnosed with Arachnoiditis in 2014 and had to go on disability. In June 2016 he had a brain stem stroke and I had to quit work to care for him 24/7. So coming up with the money to repair this while leaving off of disability will be rough. But I dont want my fridge to fall thru the floor. Help is needed, requested and prayed for.

We purchased a Samsung side by side refrigerator in 2013. In the summer of 2016, the fridge/freezer broke for the first time. Samsung sent out their qualified repair experts who attempted to fix the problem but in the process, caused further harm. They ended up attempting to fix the fridge 7 more times without success. They then determined that it was an entirely new issue requiring us to buy yet another part and pay for labor yet again. Contact with Samsung was unhelpful. Because we were out of the 1 year warranty time period, there was nothing they were willing to do. We were without a reliable refrigerator/freezer for more than 6 months. Many times we had to throw away all the food in the refrigerator and freezer. We interrupted our work and home-life schedule 8 times to be there for the repair service 4 hour window. We expected Samsung to recognize a faulty refrigerator and offer immediate compensation. This was a bad purchase-- we do not recommend Samsung to anyone. Their customer service is below any standard.

Initially it worked fairly well, however, just like everyone else that has purchased this model, error codes such as E9 started in less than 6 months of use. Two year ago I purchased a Samsung $2100 refrigerator and a Samsung $599, 2.1 cu ft microwave and a Samsung $699 dishwasher from Lowes, top of the line on all but the refrigerator. To date the dishwasher never heated the water - my dishes are always dirty and I have to hand wash most right after I take them out. The only heat is when I push the sanitize button; otherwise the water is cold (yes, I checked to see if there is a line from the hot water side of my system). For the refrigerator, the water filter required replacement 2 months after I purchased it and the ice button gets stuck and continues to dispense ice, even after I remove the glass. THE MICROWAVE IS MY LATEST CASUALTY. Last night, it went to an E5 error code, basically indicating that steam from the stove had destroyed the membrane keypad. THEN WHY IS IT MADE TO BE INSTALLED OVER A STOVE? I would not buy Samsung again unless it was the only appliance in the world. I got no support from Lowe’s, since they were out of warranty. Now I will go and buy new appliances and they will be basic, simple ones. My Kenmore stuff lasted over 10 years. I just replaced them because I want top-of-the-line - well $3400 divided by 24 months means I paid $142 per month simply for the privilege of owning a Samsung. Never again.

We have had nothing but problems since December 2014 when we purchased it, with 3 service orders to date. The last one is a repeat for the issue that we had less than a month ago. On top of that, Samsung uses servicing dealers that do not have parts in stock. Thus, they are allowed to order the parts based on the repair order making the customer wait the additional time for the repair. This is accurate and fair. Here it goes. I purchased this refrigerator in 2014 from the Home Depot. I also purchased the 5 yr extended warranty (just in case). It all began with them delivering the wrong unit and it also had a hole in the back from a forklift. The delivery company left it in my driveway and drove off and in the process, ran into and wrecked my neighbors picket fence and would not share insurance information for replacement. Yes. HD sent two young men to pick up the fridge without a lift on the back so all of us had to heft this into a high bed truck to remove it. Ended up renting a truck and picking up and installing the new one ourselves. So I have had this refrigerator for 10 months and it stopped cooling in the fridge and the freezer. I want to add that the vegetable storage units do not keep the vegetables for long at all. They go bad after a couple of days. Back to the technicians, 3, yes 3 hours on the computer chat with a (3) tech(s) from Samsung to reset the OFF reading on the digital display. After 3 hours of attempting to reset and do all the bells and whistles to reset, the tech(s) then tell me that the panel is bad and needs a technician to go to the home location and repair it. They said to call Samsung to create a ticket. Ok, also called Asurion who has the warranty. They said they would create a ticket and send me a food loss form. Sent food loss form and then Im told that a reimbursement will not be issued until after the repair? I then call Samsung who tells me that there should be a repair person by Wednesday or Thursday (it is Saturday) and they would create a ticket. Then I called the Home Depot who tells me that if the issue was not solved by Wednesday or Thursday they would send me a check for the fridge or a new one? WTH? Its now Thursday (6 days after fridge quits) and no one knows about the problem or any ticket issued. I snapped. We then start all over. I am then told that it is a simple fix and I would have to pay for the repair? NO, NO, NO. I am then sent to the secondary customer person who then creates ANOTHER repair ticket and tell me that the repair person will call me in about 48 hours or so and cannot even conceivably come until next Tuesday or Wednesday. No we are into 11 days of this issue. So, this Samsung refrigerator has NO repair people in this area and yet they are continuously sold. Now what? I paid over $2,200 (on sale) for this absolute piece of mechanical scrap with the worst customer service ever. NEVER, and I mean NEVER purchase this refrigerator or any Samsung refrigerator, NEVER. Repeat that to yourself.

We had pump changed and no different (It is really bad). You can add bleach and it comes right back. You can put vinegar in it and it comes right back. Very poor setup. Of all our dishwashers we have had over the past 45 years this is the worst by far. We never had this problem with other mfg dishwashers. We keep 2 homes and have had a lot of dishwashers also.

Dishwasher Model# DW80F600UTS/A. S/N B00AG9MD914188D. 4th repair ticket # **. We purchased a complete kitchen suite from Home Depot In Canton Ohio on 11/20/2013. They were delivered on black Friday and in the 13 months of owning this pile of appliance chunk I have lost 6 days of work, almost 8. Those lost wages could have gone to the purchase of a new dishwasher, not to mention dealing with the inabilities of Samsung Customer Service that couldnt seem to remember me and the same error 4 times (flashing delicate light). Of course they replace the parts, chasing an error that isnt in their manual because its an error that proves this unit is a lemon and they know it but they string you along telling you to unplug the unit for a couple of minutes and then plugging it in. Now I used to be a tech manager for a computer chain and that is the trick to reset the computer board inside the computer. Yes this dishwasher has some sort of motherboard if you will that needed replace on day 1 with all the other parts that were changed on this pile after this was built. In other words some people may have all the upgraded parts to the same model and are not having any issues, for the rest of us, were stuck paying for the recall. I have a complete Kitchen full of this Samsung junk, hell the phone Im using to type this review is a Samsung, which I thought was quality and comparable to an I phone. I will no longer support Samsung in anything they do. I will replace each and every piece of Samsung garbage I own and I will devote my energy into providing consumers with the reality of what Samsung is. They are a corporation that spit shines items to provide the illusion of quality, something that YUGO never did. People bought the car because it was cheap, same as Chrysler did with the K car. Consumers bought knowing that they werent paying for the name but for the car. Samsung has decided to have you pay for name because people recognize the name from cell phones and tvs. Trust me when I say this. They should not be in the appliance business, people should stick with the products their ancestors bought. Maytag, Amana, Frigidaire, and even Kenmore. I apologize to my late grandparents for purchasing this junk in the first place.Oh, and to you Samsung! You have lost another customer for life with your poor customer service and inability to relate to the consumer. By the way, your call centers need some help. Just another smoke screen for everyone to navigate. Good bye.

I purchased Samsung French Door Refrigerator Model RFG297AARS for $2000 on 3/2011. However, I didnt buy the extended protection plan (should have) because I had protection plan with local electric company. I started to have problems in Jun 2013. Water in the bottom of the crisper and the refrigerator/ freezer was not cooling properly. I called to have maintenance done on the unit, and the repairmen told me that all of the defrost circuits and the sealed compressor were working properly and the drain lines were clear. They stated that all of the older and same model of mine had issues on lack of insulation in the box and during summer/high humid months, the unit would not keep up. I contacted Samsung and they never heard of this and would be happy to come out to look at the unit. If it wasnt a compressor issue, I would be charged for the visit. So we just unplugged the refrigerator and let it thaw out, and after that it worked okay, but not great. Then in Feb 2014, my freezer and refrigerator stopped cooling, so I called up for maintenance and they determined the sealed cooling system was not working and to call Samsung for repair under the 5-yr warranty. I called Samsung and they sent out a repair rep and he came out and said that the compressor/sealed system was not working properly and he would be in 2 weeks. When he came back, he tried everything but he could find the leak and he stated that it was not repairable!! 3 months later, no working refrigerator, just a broken one sitting in the way in my kitchen. Samsung finally decided to buy the unit back, but it would take 15-20 days and would get back to me concerning the removal of the broken one. No check, no email - nothing at all. Please do not buy this model or from this company. They say they understand what I am going through, but I dont think they do because they would have sent me my check and removed this broken box out of my kitchen so I can buy a new one for my family without a refrigerator.

We liked the middle drawer and the fact that you can open a little door to get drinks out without opening a regular door. Will NEVER buy Samsung ANYTHING again. The right side door started on day 1 making a horrid noise when shutting. This took three service calls so far. Seems to be okay after third fix! Then ice maker froze solid, couldn’t even pull out the tray/bucket. So to fix it, we had to unplug the fridge for several days before they came to repair it. Because of a problem with a different fridge that we put our stuff in for those three days, we lost all food from the fridge. So they came and put in a new ice maker with updates from Samsung. Uh, well, now 3 months later, we have an ice maker completely frozen solid again. Unbelievable! And now out of warranty. We had moved from a GE Profile kitchen in which nothing had a problem for 15 years, and mistakenly chose Samsung! What happened to this country wherein these companies can sell subpar crap for outrageous amounts. This goes for TVs as well, that only last a couple years if you are lucky!

DO NOT BUY A SAMSUNG REFRIGERATOR!! The water dispenser on my Samsung refrigerator makes a stuttering, jack-hammer noise. Removing and replacing the filter and bleeding the water line takes care of the problem - for about a week. Then its back again. 4 calls to Samsung, hours on hold, only resulted in them suggesting that their authorized service contractor, Service Quick, come out to look at the problem - AT MY EXPENSE. I was even told by one Samsung customer service rep that they had never had this complaint before. Really?? Google Samsung Water Dispenser Problems and you will see DOZENS of complaints!

I have this fridge for 1.5 years. Love the size, but milk is always going sour before the expiry date; cheese molding; and leftovers didnt last. Rationalized all these things - must be leaving the milk out too long, must have dirty kids hands touching the cheese, etc. Because the digital temperature reading said it was 34 deg in the fridge, it must be accurate right? Wrong! Verification by 3 separate mercury and digital thermometers show that the fridge compartment temp runs 40-50 deg and thats in winter (wonder how warm it had been running last summer!). This is everywhere in the fridge compartment, top shelf, bottom shelf, door, right next to the ice maker, etc. I cannot find any place in the fridge that runs less than 40 degrees. In hindsight, no wonder food was spoiling! The fridge programming will not allow the temperature to be set any lower than 34F. Service technician has replaced the main control board and the digital touch screen assembly. Have not resolved the problem. I phoned Samsung customer support and was only told that since the factory warranty is expired, they can and will do nothing. Suspecting a design flaw that they are aware of. I will update if ever fixed. Freezer and flex-drawer hold reasonable to programmed temperature (generally 2-6 degrees above programmed temp, sometimes 10 degrees higher), but those compartments have larger programming range. Can program the freezer to -8 and the flex-drawer to 29, so even if they run higher than programmed, it is OK for food storage. But even with fridge set as low as it will go (34), it still is too warm for safe food storage.

My glass cooktop on my 5 year old oven range cracked... Theyve since discontinued the part and wont give me any information whatsoever on what other parts are compatible from other models. I contacted them through their live chat, they told me to contact the parts company, after 45min on hold I gave up and emailed them, 12 days of emails back and forth later (takes them a good 2 days to reply to any email) I found out NOTHING, they told me to contact Samsung directly...which is what I did in the first place, complete RUN AROUND. After I bought my Samsung fridge in 2014. I found out that my ice maker stopped working in 2015. I called the warranty and they sent a Tech to replace the whole part and I had to throw away lot of foods as we have 2 kids and lot of baby food & fresh foods were stocked as we have to defrost the fridge. Now its 2018 and again the ice maker has gone bad and now they are claiming it will be on me as the warranty is over. I cant believe they make this cheap parts and then they play the warranty game. I am afraid I will have to again throw away lot of the foods and on-top pay the technician to get the Ice maker fixed and I am sure they will charge you expensive labor and part rate for it so they can make profit of this maintenance scheme. Samsung should be punished for such action and banned from selling such items in the US.

I bought a Samsung refrigerator, model @ RF263BEAESR in Aug 2012. First off, the handle broke off within a year and a half or so. I find the parts list online & email Samsung to ask how to locate them and buy them, as a couple of them didnt have part #s on the schematic. They proceed to tell me that they cannot sell me these parts, that I would need to contact a Samsung authorized repair person. Fast forward to 6-2016. The ice maker has continually frozen up for the past couple of months. Then all of a sudden, the fan starts making a loud noise. Then I realize that the unit is not as cool as it is supposed to be after purchasing a thermometer and setting it inside.Luckily, I purchased the extended warranty through the company I bought it from, however, the warranty contract will only allow $125 reimbursement in spoiled food. When I went through all of the food, I tallied it all up and it totaled over $208!! I am angry that Samsung has made such a shoddy product and no recall has been issued for this fridge. IMO, a fridge should last longer than 3 years before having cooling issues. I have owned others for many, many more years and never had a cooling problem with those.Apparently, this is a well known issue that the unit freezes up in the coil/ fan area, yet Samsung has not issued a recall, just a service bulletin! I threw away $2300 on this fridge and it looks like I will be forced to search for another one. I also own a Samsung dishwasher (has been worked on twice since purchased in 2013) and washer (has been worked on once since purchased in 2013) and dryer (crossing my fingers on that one!) Had I have known that they do not care about their customers and making things right, I would have never purchased any of their products! I know I wont be a repeat customer!!!

We bought a Samsung fridge with freezer drawer, two door and ice maker in 2014. The ice maker quit in 2015 around during December. We called service. They were very nice and helpful. The cost to repair we were told could be around 500.00 DOLLARS which is too much for a new fridge. Now we have to buy ice because there is no way to put ice in the maker. We had a Frigidaire for twenty years with ice maker still working. We will never a Samsung refrigerator!

We purchased this refrigerator from Lowes in April 2013. In December 2013, we noticed that the ice cubes were smaller, and the water dispenser flow was much slower. I contacted the Samsung Help Center and was told to turn up the water pressure in my home, even though it was (properly) set at 60 pounds per square inch! I did turn it up to 90 pounds per square inch, and it seemed to be OK --not back to normal-- for a short while!Several months ago the ice cubes began to be much smaller, and the water flow reduced again. Ive tested the water supply to the unit, and it is just fine. I believe Samsung refrigerators have a basic engineering design flaw, one that Samsung will not admit nor own up to... Thus, my recommendation to NOT BUY a Samsung refrigerator! Coincidentally, we have a GE refrigerator purchased around the same time for our Florida house, and we have NEVER had a problem with it at all. Come on Samsung, own up to the problems with your design, and either FIX THEM, OR GIVE US OUR MONEY BACK!

Weve owned a number of Samsung products from washer/dryer units to dishwashers and microwaves. Our family has been pleased with the quality of those products. The refrigerators are another story altogether. About 6 months after getting our stainless Samsung fridge, the front of both doors began rusting. This seemed absurd and I called Samsung expecting some kind of answer and/or assistance in dealing with this. Wrong! Not only did their customer service team insist that this was purely a cosmetic problem so not covered under any kind of product warranty, but when I escalated this to a specialty department, I was told that nothing would/could be done, the problem was mine, and basically too bad. A fridge should not rust after a few years let alone a few months. This was shocking. Im now totally turned off the Samsung brand and will no longer be purchasing their products. When I said this to the service team, their response was oh well. Nice.

Like many, didnt read reviews... bought $2000+ fridge in 2014. The ice maker stops working within first year! Repair person said it was the drawer. Fixed for a month or so and then back to ice buildup on the tray which jams the ice maker! We are constantly chipping ice out of the ice maker and de-thawing it with a hair dryer! One thing I am going to check is the 2% back level that the fridge is supposed to be leveled to. A previous post brought this up. From the sounds of the reviews, I am in for many more problems! My icemaker dispenser stopped dispensing cubed ice. It still dispensed crushed ice and water. I called Samsung for factory authorized service. They arranged for one of their authorized repair serviceman to perform repair. I watched as he called Samsung to talk to a tech. Im an electrician and it became apparent to me he did not know what he was doing. He listened to the tech and using his meter, he checked several connections on the printed circuit board. Several times, he was checking the wrong terminals and had to ask the tech to repeat where to check. He said he needed to order parts and would be back in a few weeks. When he returned, he installed the parts and said everything was working. I paid $433.77. Later, I noticed there was no ice being made. When I tried the dispenser, it no longer tried to dispense any ice cubed or crushed. I called Samsung to complain. I was given a phone number to call. The person there listened to the trouble I was having and said the parts replaced would not have fixed my problem. He said he would send out parts and arrange for a different repair company to install. When the new repair person arrived, he listened to my problem and said the parts sent would not fix the trouble. He checked out a few things. When he put the parts back together, the water dispenser no longer worked. He said he would need to call Samsung for parts and left. After two weeks, I called to find out the status. I was told that Samsung would not authorize any farther repair but nobody bothered to call me.I called Samsung again and was told they were sorry about the misunderstanding and issued a new work order number. A few days later, I received an email stating the work order number was cancelled. Another call, another order number and again another cancel email. Again, I called, got a new number and again a few days later, a cancel e-mail. I called again, this time, I was asked to hold. Before the operator put me on hold, I heard him say to someone else, Its that (my name) again. What do you want to do? Then he hit the hold button. When he came back on line, he said Samsung was no longer going to attempt any repair. When I stated that I was out $433 and my unit was worse than when their repair people started working on it, he stated, Sorry but youre on your own. This story has been abbreviated for space allowed. This exchange went on for almost three months and involved many, many phone calls and e-mails. It involved nine different service order numbers, most of which were cancelled within days of being issued. Do not buy any Samsung product. They will not stand behind it with quality service and will just try to drag out the problem until you go away.

I spent big money on new kitchen upgrades - all Samsung (Fridge, dishwasher, Microwave, high-end range). A few months after using the range, the first knob broke. It LOOKED like stainless, same as the range itself, its plastic. Long story short, I had to replace ALL of the knobs in a short time. They MELT or crack, and when you need new ones, Samsung wants FIFTY BUCKS EACH for a piece of garbage plastic. Their customer service department couldnt give a darn (Im pretty sure I was speaking to someone in the Philippines with no power to help me.) I found copies online for $7.50 each, which I am waiting to arrive. Hopefully, they will fit at a fraction of the Samsung price. While I like the BYUs of the stove, the knobs are crap and the customer service is non-existent! Ill never buy Samsung again.

My husband and I purchased a Samsung 4 door model refrigerator Model RF2339
My husband and I purchased a Samsung 4 door model refrigerator Model RF2339011SR/AA from our local store in November 2016 at a cost of well over $2,000. We paid a premium price because of the unique styling and because we have several other Samsung appliances in our home and because we’ve had no issues with them. This has certainly not been the case with this refrigerator.I. Several months after our purchase we called Samsung regarding a leveling leg for the front of the refrigerator that had broken and some additional plastic door adjustment snap rings so that we could level one door that was slightly lower than its mate. This simple request took multiple calls with us being passed from person after person and department to department and being told, ridiculously, that a technician would have to come to our home install the leveling foot and snap rings. This was finally resolved however, and we were sent the parts. II. About 2 ½ years after our purchase, We contacted Samsung because of an ongoing problem we were experiencing with the ice maker – ice freezing up in and around the tray and blocking the entire ice maker unit up with ice. After 2 weeks of multiple calls and disconnected phone calls, Samsung agreed to a one time “warranty extension” as long as we could find a local repair person and pay him in advance after which Samsung would reimburse us. We did this and we still have an ice maker that freezes up. We have to keep it turned off and only turn it on when we need to refill a bag of ice. This is the number of people we had to speak to in that instance, and the names they gave: Samantha Julisa Juan Roy Andelo Shamia Stacy Christina Kimberly Maria Natasha Alexis Louise TayahanaThat’s 14 different people and again, the icemaker still freezes up.III. Now we have a new problem. On December 22, 2020, we called Samsung regarding the clear finish, or fingerprint coating, separating from the stainless material on the bottom left freezer door. It is very noticeable and looks like a stain on the door. We spoke with someone named Garrett, who, after a 45 minute conversation finally said that he would escalate the issue and asked that we send photographs to efax@sea.samsung.com with the ticket number of ** noted in the subject line, which we did. We were told that we would hear back from Samsung in 3 to 5 days. Not hearing from Samsung, we called on December 31, 6 business days later, and spoke with Hassie who again “could do nothing” but would transfer us to a supervisor, but the wait time was 1 ½ hours. We opted for a callback which happened about an hour later. We spoke with Delson this time, a “case manager” he said. Despite my insistence that this was an obvious manufacturing defect that caused the finish to separate from the substrate, the only point he could relay was that it was “Cosmetic Damage” which was not covered by warranty and that he “could do nothing to help us”. We asked to speak to a supervisor and were told that one would call us within 48 hours. Of course by this time we didn’t really expect that to happen, but we waited until January 8, 2021 to call Samsung yet again and this time spoke with someone named Damascus who again said he would try to get our claim escalated to manager level. After he tried to contact one for 8 to 10 minutes, he informed us that the wait time would be 2 hours and 10 minutes and we would get a call back, which we did, this time from Pamala who was insistent that nothing could be done.Taking a break in the narrative here, please understand that all along we have only been requesting that Samsung replace the defective door which I was more than willing to install. You only had to send a door, which I expect would have been less than $100.00 your cost, to alleviate the defect and make the customer happy. At every phone call we had to go over the entire situation again wasting anywhere from 10 to 45 minutes per call, not including wait times, to actually speak to a person. It continues, on January 15, 2021 we called again and spoke to someone named Wisvert, same thing all over again, a case manager would call us next week with answer. Nothing. On January 22 not hearing from Samsung, we called again, this time speaking with Kendra who forwarded us to Selanda. We thought we were getting somewhere now. She told us we would have to pay a technician to come to the home to determine that it was a manufacturing defect and then Samsung would replace the part only, not the labor. When I reminded her that we had sent pictures that Samsung technicians could look at to determine that it was a manufacturing defect, she said there were no pictures. That was upsetting to us after the time and effort we went through to provide them as requested. When I asked her to put in writing via email that Samsung would replace the part if a repair technician found that it was a manufacturing defect we were strangely and abruptly disconnected! No call back either, On January 24, a Sunday morning, we were surprised to receive a call from Samsung Electronics Exchange and Refund Department, a Marcos, who called to inform us that there were no options and that they could not take care of this defect. Please note that this defect of the finish separating from the substrate is not due to any harsh treatment from us and that we offered to install the door only asking Samsung to provide the replacement part. The terrible service that we have received from Samsung’s “customer service” is beyond belief. The repeated passing from person to another person, the long wait times, the limited language skills making it hard to communicate, and the continuous offers to call back that don’t happen, all appear to be a tactic on Samsung’s part to discourage customers from pursuing remedies to problems with its products. It turns out that our experience is not unusual for Samsung. According to the Better Business Bureau as of this date, it has fielded 20,375 complaints in 3 years and over 1000 reviewers have rated Samsung a 1.02 out of a 5 stat rating. What a shameful record for a company. You have lost us, a valuable repeat customer, over this lack of customer service, we will advise friends and family not to expect any customer service from Samsung if they purchase a Samsung product and we will be placing our comments and this narrative regarding these issues everywhere applicable online. Please, in the spirit of truthfulness, delete all claims of the importance of customer service from your advertising and phone messages as we have never experienced any caring customer service from your representatives. We’ve never been so disappointed in a company.

Whenever we were in the market to replace our appliances, I always looked to Samsung first. We have 4 Samsung TVs, a refrigerator, 4 smartphones, Blu-Ray player and a washing machine and we love them all. That was until I had the misfortune of purchasing an over the range microwave. Here youve read all the stories about these microwaves and their failure on sensor errors just after the warranty expires. Its a poorly designed product that fails due to the humidity created when cooking on the stove. The only thing worse than the design of the product is Samsungs support for this inferior product.I havent replaced the unit yet because Im afraid the next unit I purchase (Hint: not a Samsung product) will encounter the same problems. I have a countertop microwave someone gave me so I dont really need an over the range model. But when I do the kitchen remodel, Im not sure what to put in its place. Obviously I need some sort of vent so thats where my research now takes me.

In July 2016, I purchased a Samsung bundle which consisted of a refrigerator Model #RF28HMEDBBC, stove #NX58K3310SB/AA, microwave #ME16K3000AB & dishwasher #DW80J3020UB from Best Buy. I am totally happy with the services that I have received from Best Buy & the Geek Squad, however, I am so dissatisfied with the Samsung appliances. In 7/2018, the ice maker went out (Samsung provides no services!!!). I was told that the ice maker was not properly sealed & the Geek Squad replaced the ice maker. Then 10/2018, brown rust started to form on the bottom corners of the water shoot. The Geek Squad had to replace the entire door. 12/2018, the trim at the base of the oven door (which was glued on) came apart & the Geek Squad had to come back out & reattach it. And now, 12/18/18, as I was cooking dinner & steam was coming from the pot with vegetables (which is a normal thing) in it on the back burn, the stove’s back (oven, timer, & clock is located) started to discolor (my appliances are black!!). So now I have this spot on my stove. I was going to purchase the black Samsung washer & dryer, but after what I’ve experience with the kitchen appliances, there’s no way under the sun I’m going to purchase their washer & dryer. So dissatisfied with my Samsung appliances!

I purchased a Samsung Model # RF28HDEDBSER (with French doors and freezer on the bottom) from Lowes about two years ago for about $3,000. After a year the iced maker broke down and we no longer have ice, it also makes a grinding noise. Now about 6 months later the refrigerator is barely cold enough to keep our food cold and the digital feature is malfunctioning and shows that it does not maintain a proper temperature; it keeps shutting off. We are very disappointed in this product, so we were not surprised now to discover many complaints with the same issues.Just filed a complaint on the Samsung website but do not expect them to respond, they said they would respond but kept me waiting in the chat for more than 10 minutes. Please do not buy their refrigerators they are not worth it and the honorable thing would be for them to replace a refrigerator that we expected to function for at least 5 years. It also makes me wonder about the quality of their other products. We dont have $3,000 just to buy refrigerators.
