I have Model WT1101CW LG washing machine and can say with total honesty that this is the worse machine I have ever owned. It goes out of balance so many times during the wash cycle that it takes hours to wash a load. It keeps filling with water to try to rebalance itself so it wastes water and ultimately we end up stopping it with the clothes still wet to dry them because it will not spin them out. We spent over $400 dollars on repairs already and it still doesnt work. UE, UE, UE I am so sick of that code. Dont buy this machine!!!

I have a lovely 3 door refrigerator that was purchased in 2007. At the 13 month mark, I started having trouble with an irritating beeping sound that let me know the door was not closed completely. After checking to make certain the doors were not blocked and completely closed, I continued to hear the alarm. Service engineer called, replaced the sensor. Sound gone. This has repeatedly occurred time and time again over the past 7 years. Its actually beeping right now. I have even purchased a home warranty primarily for this issue. 2 different service engineers complained about the LG refrigerator. I will never purchase another LG refrigerator.

Had issues with knobs - almost got burned. Very expensive stove. Cannot bake in oven. LG company is joke. Called over a two year period - get the runaround. Terrible to deal with. Now we have a stove I cannot use. Paid almost two thousand dollars for it. When we call it’s at least one hour on phone!!! No results. Wish someone could help us. We cannot afford to buy another stove. Don’t buy from LG.

I WONT BUY A LG ELECTRIC RANGE AGAIN. The LG Range Oven model # LRE383ST01 we purchased in 2015 has been nothing but trouble. In the first year the burner and main board went out. Luckily we were still under the warranty so LG sent their technician to replace them. A few weeks after the warranty expired, the glass top made a pop noise and cracked like a spider web on the lower right burner and spread. We called LG, explained the situation and told them this seems a factory part defect. They politely blamed us of dropping something on the glass which was 100% false and they used we are sorry to gently fade their fault with this. We let it go - not to waste our time. Price of a new glass top is near $400. Couple month after the new range top was installed the new glass top cracked again. It couldnt happen at a better time but Christmas Eve 2016, with having family over, around 4 pm while food cooking, the glass top made a loud pop noise and broke again on the lower right burner. Here was my experience with LG Range and dealing with the company who took the easy road to blame the customer for their defective part. Now I have an expensive LG range-oven with another broken glass top. My recommendation: Stay away from LG Range with glass top.

The owners manual says the cycle for Bulky/Large/Heavy duty can wash and spin 8LBS. A call to the LG service department said it could do 12-14LBS. We have washed a 6LB mattress cover with no problems. We rewashed it 3 months later and it could not spin, tried to reposition item, the drum went back and forth forever to extract water but still couldnt spin. Months later was the 3 bathroom cotton rugs, 17X24, 21X24 and 22X34 total weight 6LBS it couldnt spin. Before the 5 year extended warranty expired called for service 3 separate times.1st repairman said he had no idea what was wrong and said he would have someone else come out, that didnt happen. 2nd repairman saw the rugs put in the machine, partial wash and then try to spin, took 1 out till wouldnt spin took out another still wouldnt spin. They said they would call LG and get answers, they called back a few days later and said LG said it was one loaded and to remove two, that did not work. We were then told that LG doesnt like to repair their equipment. The 3rd repairman couldnt long enough to see if it would spin. The warranty company gave us $50.00 and said to use a commercial laundry. Very unhappy with LG products. I will not buy again. Im also not happy with extended warranties wont be purchasing those again. Just a word to the wish look at the reviews LG has a problem.

Ever since we purchased the machine (a birthday present that was supposed to make life easier) we have suffered from clothes that stink, even right out of the washer. We tried changing detergents. No good. We purchased cleaning solvents from the store and ran cleaning cycles, good for one wash. Then the stink is back. The company says to leave the door open and wipe the inside rubber gasket dry after each use. Leaving the door open is not really an option and it blocks the hallway. I read that there are multiple complaints concerning the rubber gasket and stink from LG, and their overall response is the same as what they told me. I am more than willing to group together and go after the company for these machines. What a hunk of junk.

I received delivery from Home Depot of my LSG4513ST range on December 16, 2020. I immediately began smelling gas when the range was on, but was told that this was normal and that the oven had to run for a while and it would dissipate. The gas smell did not dissipate and was and is detectable by my gas meter. Home Depot was not able to get anyone out to my home to check on the range until 12/31. On 12/31, the plumber/gas fitter came to my home, inspected the range, and said that it was defective and would need to be replaced. I was told that I had to contact LG myself which I did. It took LG until 1/4 to send their representative who is ASAP solutions. ASAP solutions inspected the range and said that it needed a new igniter and manifold. Evidently, there was what they call a “bulletin” on this new $2200 range. In other words, it had defective parts that were known to be defective when I purchased the range which I waited multiple weeks for as it was on back order. In fact, the range wasn’t even manufactured until October of 2020 and was shipped from Korea. Instead of replacing the range, the LG representative from ASAP solutions said they were going to replace the igniter and manifold. I was told that it would be at most a week to order the parts and repair the range. That week has now come and gone and The LG subcontractor is not even answering my emails as to when this will be resolved. I would just like to add that I understand that we are in the middle of a pandemic and that it is not business as usual. I have had to have numerous people come to my home at the expense of my own family’s health to go through this process to still not have a working range. I have not had a working range since December 16, 2020 prior to the delivery of this very expensive range that has never worked, and by the way, I purchased an extended warranty. If I may, I would also like to add that my family has had to go without a range during the holidays and there seems to be no resolution in sight.

I bought a washer and dryer, one on top of the other one, with stacking kit
I bought a washer and dryer, one on top of the other one, with stacking kit offered by LG. It is even in the manual as an option for the customer from Home Depot. The washer is leaking from the bottom when it was two months old... I cant believe a brand new machine is not working right in only two months. How can I be sure when they delivered this washer at my house that it was brand new? I am very suspicious with how Home Depot and LG do business. I have this one year warranty offer by LG. Well, it is not like that. I called for service and first of all, they dont have their own technicians. They hire subcontractors who really dont know what they are doing, thats why so many stupid people, instead of fixing, were messing the machines up.On top of it all, this subcontractor wanted to charge me $145 to put the dryer on the floor in order for them to inspect the washer, which is at the bottom. I called Home Depot and I DID not get any help from them, either. When I bought these machines, they told me it was covered and I didnt have to pay anything if it breaks under the 1-year warranty. They even offered me an extension warranty that I DID not take... It is only two months old, and in order for the technician to come before they inspected the washer and fixed it, I had to come up with $145.What a rip-off. I asked for a manager, and he said the same thing, blaming me for choosing to stack the machines one on top of the other one. They talked nonsense. I wanted to return it to Home Depot...They didnt take it. And they cant even exchange it. I paid for the installation, as well, but it is for nothing that I spent almost $2,000 for these ** LG machines...I will never ever buy LG products. They really suck and it is all a **.

We purchased this refrigerator (LG Top Freezer Refrigerator Model # LTC22350 SS100) less than 2 years ago and have been extremely disappointed with its quality from the beginning. We also have an LG cook-top stove and my wife is ready to toss both of them. The refrigerator has plastic drawer runner tracks that are paper-thin and not very durable at all. The stove had to have the touch control panel replaced in the first year. Also, the oven temperature cannot be maintained and must be regularly changed or regulated. We will not buy any more LG products. We just recently bought a new TV and guess what brand it was not?

Its been 6 weeks since my fridge has worked. How long is a person supposed to live out of a cooler after spending 2600 dollars on a fridge and it didnt last 8 months before going out. To people they sent out to repair it are screwing me around like Im not a big enough money making job to worry about. I call LG and they are totally useless. ***DONT BUY THIS FRIDGE*** We bought our LG french door refrigerator in March 2014. Model number LF33975st. Woke up this morning to ice on the floor, and the dispenser running nonstop. Even after turning off the ice maker, and making sure the dispenser paddle wasnt stuck, it continued to run. I called LG customer service. They cant send anyone until tomorrow. The motor on the door should be completely fried by then!!! Fortunately, I bought the extended warranty from Best Buy, because after reading this site, I am very worried about this $3700 dollar product. For this amount of money, I shouldnt be having any trouble. Especially after 2 months..

We purchased this refrigerator Dec. 15, 2014 its not a year old and still under the factory warranty. This is the second time that we have had this problem with the refrigerator not getting cold. May 2015 was the first time someone came out and adjusted the temperature, the same problem happen again around September 11, 2015 where it wasnt cooling or making ice. The day I got out of the hospital, I come home and everything in my freezer had thawed out and spoil. I began calling immediately but no one seems to put themselves in our shoes. We have been without a refrigerator since September 18th, 2015. Someone from Jebco in Saraland, AL. came out on September 23, 2015 said that he had to order a part and for us to unplug our refrigerator until he return on Monday September 28, 2015. Well Monday came, his clerk called to say that he would not be able to come on that day. I was so upset that I hung up on her, but later called back to apologize, later that day she called LG to inform them that she did not think I was satisfied with them QUOTE: Im not satisfied with anyone because everyone has a refrigerator and we dont. We are having to keep water in a cooler and having to go out to food because we cant put anything in the fridge. All we are asking is for them to give us another refrigerator, nobody seems to be able to accommodate for our loss. We are still paying for a broke down refrigerator, its notfair. I thought customers were always right and came first, well it seems that is not a true statement, because if it were true they should make sure that the customers are happy and satisfied to every extent.I am so dissatisfied with HHGregg and LG, I am letting everyone know not to deal with either one of them because they dont stand by their word of satisfying their customers. Is there anyone that can help me please come forward to give me some advices? We have spoken to so many peoples and nobody doing anything.

LG Tromm. Well reviewed. No experience with the brand, so it was the first time. It was very expensive 11 years ago, but seems to have come down in price. Extremely satisfied with all the options, for e.g., delay wash, hand wash. The only problem was the mould around the rubber seals. I cant seem to get rid of it, even though Ive tried everything suggested, both by professionals and on the internet. The capacity was large enough to wash a King duvet and clothing for a family of 5. It needed to be energy efficient because we do 3 full loads a week. It had excellent reviews. Repairs are our main concern. Although we bought extended warranties for the pair (washing machine and dryer), it doesnt cover all parts or repairs, but for most. I wish the sales associate gave us the pros and cons of these machines. We have more pros when reviewing the LG Tromm, but more information about the mould problem would have helped.

Don’t bug LG. I purchased a LG French door fridge from Home Depot. After only a few months, the power did not come on. I thought it was a fuse or something. I contacted LG and they told me that I would have to have a technician come out and look at it. I decided to do that myself. I opened the back of the fridge and look around and noticed a fuse looked a little burnt. I got a better light and was sure the fuse had burned out. I didn’t see how to replace the fuse without removing the entire motherboard. I contacted LG and told them what I seen. They stated that they don’t replace the fuse but only replace the entire motherboard and it cost a few hundred dollars. I took it apart, replaced the fuse and now it happened again a few months later. I live alone and don’t really even use the fridge as a large family would. This is a piece of crap I will never buy LG again.

We have had the washer and dryer several years. Both units give the worse performance of any washer - dryer combo we have ever owned. The washer has three issues; one, it does not get the clothes clean; two, if you run a load with bleach you have to run an empty load to clean all of the bleach out; three, after every wash you must wipe the door ring out to prevent any odor. The dryer has two issues; one, it does not dry clothes well; two, More lint goes outside than the lint screen catches (we had representative over to look at it and he stated that this is just the way it is with the new dryers). The Customer support responses treat us like children when we get a response. Bottom line, we despise the units and do not recommend to any of our friends.

LG stainless steel 33 cubic feet model #LFX 33975ST/01 SN 211KRRE1Y726 double doors with freezer at the bottom. We purchased this lovely fridge for our new home.and purchased a warranty with it just in case we has some issues. We are in Texas it is still hot here or it was while waiting for repairs. Our fridge began making noises and finally just stopped. We requested service on it after waiting a couple of days and troubleshooting for solutions. In the midst of hoping it would start to work again, we lost EVERYTHING in it-steaks, chicken, dressings, everything!! We finally got a service company (Premiere) to come out-2 weeks later. Mind you its hot here in Texas so we have been living out of ice chest now for 3 weeks. They finally come out for repairs after 3 weeks and the compressor is out and the blower. Parts need to be ordered. More weeks of waiting and purchasing ice. They finally came out last week and installed the compressor and the blower. It took 4 hours!! Repairman left after being frustrated that it took so long for him to repair! We were told it would take up to 36 hours to be back to normal and temperature. 3 days passed and our refrigerator never made ice and was still warm!! We called back the repair company and we were told they closed out the claim and we were back in the line again for repairs!!This is horrible, horrible customer service! My family and I have been without a fridge for a month and still dont know now when it will be looked at again. We are starting from scratch. This is a 3000.00 refrigerator! Who in management is reading the customer complaints and who can help us?? We need a new refrigerator!! Everyone has been rude even Home Depot where it was purchased!Over a month without food and groceries and nowhere to put them. We lost over 450.00 of food if not more in our fridge and so many bags of ice. This is unacceptable and I plan to go as high as I can until someone calls to help us with this refrigerator issue. It is still under warranty!! This lovely on the outside not working on the inside fridge is horrible!I am adding these notes to Twitter, Facebook and all social media I can until someone helps us or at least contacts us. This has been a horrible experience!! If you are reading or concerned LG, please contact me. We have been told now it will be a while before someone will be out. We just replaced another new LG back in August 13 2016 with this new LG FRENCH DOOR REFRIGERATOR (LMXS30776). LG gave us credit on the other new one that went dead in the water and couldnt be fixed. Now tonight we find ourselves going thru this all over again. Everything defrosting. Had to pull out and put food in the reserve side by side in Garage which has been around much longer than LG. Thank goodness for that. Now to call Home Depot all over again and get the process started again. Will have to pay for Tech again to come out to find out what is wrong. New LG washing machine default wash setting of NORMAL only fills tub with about 1/4 of water. I watched a complete wash cycle and some of the towels were never submerged in the water. They did not get sloshed or agitated in any water. They just stayed in a pile above the water line. This is terrible. I called LG and they told me that was normal for the NORMAL setting to save water. If I put a lot of clothes in the tub I have to choose the bedding setting so the tub will fill with water and the clothes then get washed properly. I am so sorry I did not check and observe this as my 30 day free return period has passed by just 10 days. I would definitely have returned this washing machine if I had known it doesnt have a means to sense how much water to put into the tub. Also trying to get service on their website is not easy. I will never buy any LG product in the future. LG = Living Good, well not for me.

Our French door model LG refrigerator failed just 10 days prior to the 5-year warranty period. The first indication was it would not make ice. This is caused by the freezer unit unable to maintain a freezing temperature. Service support wasnt available for 8 days. The service rep was not prepared to address a leak in the freon system. A second call was scheduled for a week later. The same rep came with another repair rep who said the sealed unit needed to be replaced. After replacement and adding freon, the unit worked for three weeks before failing again. The leak was obviously not repaired. I wont allow another LG repair rep into my home. I will instead go out to purchase another (non-LG) unit now. Do not purchase any LG products. No qualified repair service exists and the products have poor quality control and even worse design.

Weve had the UE issue since we bought the LG top load washer and it has gotten progressively worse. LG customer service is willing to send out a tech for $300, are you kidding me?? Make a product that works! Weve only had the washer for a few years and its had the issue since the beginning. This issue seems to be pretty wide spread and is causing consumers to waste water and endless hours trying to get a load to wash properly. This needs to be a recall or it will soon be a class action lawsuit.

We purchased our LG front loading washing machine in November of 2006. Within a few months, we also started having the clothes smelling badly, especially dark colored clothing. One week ago, the washer stopped spinning. We replaced the part. This week, the washer wont even turn on. I called the company for the second time. They chose to offer me a phone number of the closest repairperson (like I cant find that myself). I asked to file a complaint. As of today, I have had no one email or call me back. I emailed the company. Still, I heard nothing. These appliances are very expensive and should be lasting a lot longer than 5 years. The last washing machine we had was an inexpensive top loader that we purchased in 1983, and lasted until 2006. This is ridiculous! We also purchased an LG flat screen TV a couple of years ago. I had to replace a part in it already. Its definitely not a good life for anyone, but Lifes Good for the company!

The washing machine has broken down. Either the rotor or the bearings have gone out at the 3-year mark like all the other people that I keep reading about. The 10-year warranty is about the most worthless thing that I have ever heard of. I can’t afford the $75-plus per hour just to get the free part. Count on this: you get one shot at me, but Ill never own another LG product.

We had a terrible experience with LG Refrigerators. A couple of years ago, we bought an LG fridge. At the time, we liked the style. Then it went out when it was only two years old and wouldnt cool the food. The issue was the compressor, which had a 10-year warranty on it. They put a new one in, but the new one wouldnt work. It took a long time for them to get back in touch with me. They told us that they would send someone over to the property and they would try and fix the fridge, three different times. After the third time, they said they wanted the tech to try some other things and made the tech come back at least two more times. All of it was dragged out. Each time, it took a whole week before they even got over to the property. We had tenants in the property and it took LG a month and a half to finally tell us they couldnt fix it. They gave us a new fridge but by that time, the renters had moved out because they had no fridge. It was a disaster. Plus, they wouldnt give us money for the tenants food loss. They said I either get a fridge or get the loss of food. They wont do both.

LG WM3670HWA - Bought a new washer ($650) and installed in May 2017. Recently experienced squeaking noises during the spin cycle. Called LG. They sent out a technician to look at the machine. LG charged me $125 for the service call. The tech said that the rear bearing was defective. The cost to fix was estimated to be $500. However, the technician told me that LG discontinued the parts needed to fix the washer, so he couldnt fix it even if he wanted to. So I spent $650 on a washer and another $125 on a service call, to find out that a 14 month old washer is junk and cannot be repaired.I called LG to try and resolve the issue. They refused to do anything AT ALL. I wasnt asking for a new washer or anything like that. I requested that they at least waive the $125 service call, since the washer couldnt be fixed. They refused to waive the service fee and gave me no concession on anything. It was really great at the end of the call to hear, Have a wonderful day! Seriously!!?? I never write reviews, but had to vent on this one. My bad for not buying an extended warranty, but theyre bad for not even stocking parts to fix their lousy products. I will never buy an LG product again. I feel completely ripped off.

I have owned an LG refrigerator for five years, and have now had 3 times where it stopped sufficiently cooling due to a well known issue with the compressor and other internal components. There is even a class action lawsuit that covers numerous models. Part of the class-action lawsuit requires them to extend the warranty up to 5 years. Since I am now about 7 months past that 5 years warranty, LG will cover the parts to repair, but not the labor. Since the repair is quite involved, it is expensive and therefore not worth it, especially since this would have been the THIRD time to replace the compressor and other parts, and there is no guarantee it would be a durable repair. If the third failure of the compressor had happened just 7 months earlier, I would have been entitled, per the terms of the settlement, to compensation. I realize at this point LG is not obligated to do anything beyond the terms of the class action settlement, but it is infuriating to me that a company would produce a product like this, need to have a class action lawsuit to do right by its customers, and seems content to leave me with a product they know is faulty and refuse to take responsibility based essentially on a technicality. Its disgraceful. Avoid LG products. This is a nightmare.

We purchased refrigerator, microwave, range on August of 2011. Each of the above appliance has had more than two repairs done in the course of 4 years. I contacted LG and also the BBB. LG will only offer an extended warranty, but refuses to say for how long. I have had the same washer and dryer for over ten years and never had a repair done to them. My Kenmore refrigerator was over 20 years old and worked, but I decided to remodel and get new appliance. Will never ever buy LG again. They do not stand behind their products and they only give you the run around. An appliance should not have to be repaired this many time. I believe all three items are cheaply made and will continue to give me problems even after the warranty runs out.

My 2.5 year old LG refrigerator Model LFX 25978ST/00 stopped working--first ice machine failed, then freezer and then finally entire fridge--lost all my food. Called an appliance repair and they tried replacing a $150 motherboard they tested and determined had failed. That did not fix the problem. Conclusion was the compressor was also failed. LG guarantees its compressor for 10 years, BUT, only deals with certain repair centers, so I was already out $200 and needed to call one of only two LG-affiliated centers in my area. One quoted me 2300 for labor and said the repairs rarely last and I should just buy a new fridge. Another quoted me 300 for labor, but demanded an advance before scheduling the repair and said that ordering the part and scheduling could take up to 2-3 weeks. What is obvious, having read MANY similar accounts, is there needs to be a class action lawsuit against LG. Furthermore, there needs to be much more attention to quality control, parts have to be made to last longer and all of us are going to have to pay more for our appliances and/or those profiting at the upper echelons of these companies are going to have to share the spoils with their workers to fabricate better products. My GE fridge bought in 1980, lasted 30 years. Should have had it repaired and paid the price for higher electricity vs tossing three refrigerators in a landfill that are energy efficient but, doing nothing other than cluttering the earth.

Contacted LGs customer service after major issues with the refrigerator one year and three weeks old. We were transferred to multiple customer service agents. Placed on hold at one point 2 1/2 hours. Funny thing is the message that plays when youre on hold how our time is so valuable to them. Each time you get a customer service representative you have to start from the beginning, Even though supposedly every phone call is documented.Of course, any reasonable person would escalate in their frustration with each one of these phone calls that were made. Not to mention the multiple times we were being transferred and hung up on and had to call back. Absolutely nothing is done until I had to raise my voice and demand to speak to someone that can get something done. When I finally got a corporate supervisor on the phone it took him less than 20 minutes to schedule an appointment and extend the warranty to have the refrigerator serviced. Any reasonable company that stand by their product would have done this from the beginning. I will never purchase another LG product and I will tell everyone I know to think twice before they make a purchase.

I purchased a brand new LG washing machine and dryer approximately 3 years ago. I have a family of three - we never do large loads. I have never placed anything other than clothing in it. I do not wash rugs or large blankets or comforters. I have those professionally cleaned. Recently the washing machine began making really loud noises so I called a service technician. He tells the stainless steel basket has somehow become bent. I was told that there is a lifetime warranty on it as it should never bend with normal use. He suggested that it may have been defective to begin with. I called LG service center and was told it was in fact covered but of course they have no LG technicians in my area to install this basket and referred me to their authorized technicians. It will cost over $600 to replace this basket. When I explained to the rep that that cost was near what it would cost to purchase a new washing machine, she said there was nothing they could do. I have owned several homes and several rental properties and I never had a washing machine stop working after 3 years even with the worst tenants using them. I take care of my appliances and I am appalled that after only 3 years of less than average use, their product will cost $600 to repair. I will purchase a new washing machine and will never purchase an LG product again.

Please believe me, never again LG products. It’s said that I work in retail and have shown them much love, that definitely ends today. I will definitely never recommend, sell or talk highly of. Our kitchen remodel was delayed so the microwave wasn’t opened until just recently. It was opened and installed professionally. During its first use I could hear what sounded like a fan, come to a grinding halt. We called LG and were told that because it’s out of warranty we would have to take it to an authorized repair shop (but would most likely have to pay for the repair ourselves). Cheapest plan available. Authorized service dealer that was sent showed up two hours late to a four hour service window (waited 3/4 of day for technician to show). Technician never got a tool out, didnt measure a temperature, didnt remove a panel, never looked behind refrigerator. Unable to diagnose a problem. Worst service experience I have ever had! I bought an LG gas range model LRG30355ST at Home Depot sometime in 2009, and all the five knobs are all cracked and can no longer be adjusted to low or high. The cost of these knobs are exorbitant and almost costs around 1/3 of the total cost of the gas range. These companies should not be allowed to manufacture substandard parts for their products at the expense of the consumers. Whether they do this on purpose to generate additional revenues, we dont know. But something should be done and shift the responsibility back to companies like LG and make them pay or correct them at no cost to the consumers. Range I purchased from Warner Stellian is a 5 burner gas range model number LRG3091SW/03. I would not recommend purchasing this particular unit. While I am satisfied with the oven, the stove top is a problem. The unit is less than 2 years old. There are 3 issues. The burners on the stove present a safety issue. If you set a smaller pan on the front burners the pan easily tips and hot liquid spills onto you, the floor or any person (thinking children here!) that happens to be standing at the stove. See image. The 5 knobs for the stove top have all cracked. See image. The oven control panel is electronic. The covering has cracked and is now cracked almost all the way up. See image. The range is normally used once or twice a day for a family of 2 which I consider less than normal range. I contacted the LG company and their reply was basically, Thats too bad since the 1 year warranty is over but you can pay to have it fixed (paraphrased but you get the idea). No mention of the safety issue I reported. I should have contacted the company within the 1 year since these issues started within the first year but I didnt however, I have owned multiple ranges over the years (with much more usage when our family was 5 people) and those have easily lasted 5-10 years without issues. I purchased my 4-door LG Refrigerator for nearly $3000 in June 2016. Within one week, the lovely in-door icemaker jammed. I had to remove the icemaker and stick my fingers into the hopper to clear a frozen chunk of several ice cubes all melted together. I called LG in July when it continued jamming several times a week - sometimes numerous times a day!!! I was told to be sure the temp was set correctly and the fridge was level. I did all these things, but it continued jamming all summer long.Since August 2016, I have spent hundreds of hours on the phone - one service company (A & E Factory Repair) came out and their solution was to put Vaseline around the sealer surrounding the icemaker and door. I am now calling every few days, put on hold or disconnected, and am getting ZERO help from the Executive Support team in Alabama. First, the product is clearly DEFECTIVE and no one seems to care enough to make this their personal mission to get repaired.Heres who has taken my call and promised to call back with a Service Appointment: July-August 2016 Called LG Service numerous times in July and August: 1-800-243-0000 and complained about icemaker jamming and dripping. 9/22 - called Customer service who would schedule service and call me back. Never heard back. 11/11 - called again to inquire about service and was told Id hear back. 11/26 - Noel in Manila assigned me Case **, which was given to Cape Fear. 12/5 - I called Cape Fear to inquire the service date and was told they cant come until 12/16 - but I am out of town that whole week. So Tamika in Huntsville ALA got a service company to come 12/14. 12/8 - Pauline in Manila said she could not help as there are only two repair shops and the second one (AppTech - 910-358-8456) said they dont come to my town. They are four hours away.12/14 - Vaseline applied by A&E Appliance Repair - two days later the icemaker jammed and remained jammed until 12/23 when I returned home. 12/30 - Spoke with Russ in Manila - cant get me a repair auth until he reaches Cape Fear Appliance Service although Russ kept trying to call them for over an hour while I was on hold. I finally called Cape Fear and listened to the recording (they were closed for the holiday) and told Russ they were closed. Called again and asked to speak to US - got Brenda in ALA. Executive Supervisor Dept. She promised to personally deal with the problem but never called me back.1/17/2017 - Tori in ALA said Brendas manager on 1/6 found an appt for 1/20 with Cape Fear Appliance, but that manager never called me and gave me the choice - he just figured it was too long to wait so he did nothing - was trying to find quicker service. Tori was checking on progress and while on hold I was disconnected. Tori never called back.1/23 - Willy in ALA said the Locator Dept is trying to get speedier service (I explained the 1/20 service call would now be great) - Willi promised to call me back by Tues 1/24 - as Locator Team might take a few days to locate repair service. 1/25 Willi never called me back and I spoke with Mark - ext. ** in ALA. She insisted she was not Willi nor Tori and would INDEED call me back the SAME DAY. She never called back either. 1/30 (TODAY) Tish spoke with Mary who is in the same department. She spent over 20 minutes reading back to me all the notes of my customer service contact and she apologized profusely but assures me SOMEONE from LOCATOR will call me back.LIARS and CHEATS - and the ABSOLUTELY THE WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE I HAVE EXPERIENCED IN DECADES! You decide!! Is a really great refrigerator worth this type of headache! Well, Ive finally had it with this machine. We bought it & the matching electric dryer from former homeowners when we bought their house. Guess we should have done more research into the plethora of problems these sorry excuse for an appliance really have. These junkers wouldve been out on the road the second we moved in. First, within a month the dryer died. One morning I turned it on & it started smoking, so that was that. Out to the curb! Next, we had been using the LG steam washer for about 4 months & continually noticed water on the floor around it. Never really found where it was coming from other than a drip streak down the side around the detergent drawer where you add the soap/bleach. Another issue was the door lock kept malfunctioning & wouldnt let the load run unless you either slammed the door shut or put pressure on it with your knee when it was trying to lock. Then the thing would sound like a 747 taking off when it was in spin mode. It would shake violently & eventually wake up the baby with its deafening whir. Finally, it showed an error message saying the pump wasnt able to drain the tub because of a clog or something. So I got on my hands & knees to screw open the drain trap & 5 gallons of water came gushing out all over the floor. There is a small rubber hose down there also, but when I took out the plug on the end of it no water drained out. What gives LG? Do you need a wet/dry vac at the ready to do this procedure or a stack of towels so you dont trash the floor? Very poor design! And doing this did absolutely nothing. Same error code came up & the pump just sickly rumbled. So it is now out on the curb also awaiting a trip to the dump where it belongs. Please, everyone, do not buy these piece of refuse appliances from LG. You will only bring upon yourself great pain & grief. Time to break out the old GE top loader that I know works fine. Glad I held onto it for back up. DONT BUY LG!!!

We remodeled our house a little over two years ago, and my wife bought new LG appliances for the kitchen including a dishwasher, electric cook top range, microwave and refrigerator. I like the fact that when you get water out of the refrigerator door, it comes out fast. When it went out, it took almost two weeks to get done, and that’s the only complaint I have. We’re retired and we can’t afford to go out every meal, so we lived out of coolers and one small hundred-dollar refrigerator for a month. When the repairman brought the compressor in, he informed us that he puts a lot of compressors into LGs. In fact, he finished up with us at 8:00 in the evening he was here, and he went on to do another one before he went home.

I have a LG LSXS26326 side by side, not even 3 years old, purchased 3/2015 from Lowes for $1600, 3 weeks ago is not cooling on either side. I called LG direct many times, always getting the runaround. I was given 2 numbers of repair services in my area. I called these numbers 2 days in a row and left messages, with no response. Every service repair company I called in my area said they are not authorized to work on LG sealed system or compressor, since they are under warranty. HomeAdvisor sent a service repair out from SC, Im in NC, 30 minutes and $75 dollars later, I was told it would cost a minimum of $500.00 in labor to fix the problem and maybe parts, since LG customer service is so hard to deal with, like I didnt already know. Repair would need to replace compressor and sealed system and blowing out lines with very expensive gas. I was told parts are still under warranty by LG Direct, but could take 7-10 days to ship out, who knows how long it would take to get them??? Ive lost hundreds in food. My repairman basically told me to go bUy a new refrigerator, he said 85% of the refrigerators they work on are LG, and recommended Whirlpool, Kitchen Aid and/or Maytag as replacements. Very upset that they do not stand behind their products and their customer service has A LOT to desire. Do not buy LG unless you have money to throw away. Im a single mom and this has cut way into our budget. $1600.00 down the drain!!! We had hopes to go on vacation this year, but thanks to LG that wont be happening, having to buy another fridge in such a short period of time, has taken that out of the budget.

We remodeled our kitchen in 2007 and purchased all new LG appliances; refrigerator, dishwasher, and electric stove all from Home Depot. The fridge and dishwasher have been trouble free, but the model LG LRE3045/SB stove has been trouble since day one. The touch control panel has intermittently worked. On some days, this group of controls works and these others dont, sometimes nothing at all. Calling LG customer service, we were told to unplug the stove and plug it in after a 10 or more second delay. Sometimes that has restored some functions but never all the functions. Tonight, I have plugged and re-plugged several times, all to try and get the start button to engage. It was no success. I called customer service and was told there was nothing they could do. The unit is out of warranty, even though we have documented this issue with them years before.

We moved into our new home this past year and purchased all new LG applianc
We moved into our new home this past year and purchased all new LG appliances. Within about a month after we purchased our stove, we had problems with the main board, and it was replaced without a problem. At the end of May, we started having problems with our refrigerator. It began making loud noises and then shutting itself off. We contacted the company to arrange the repair, and the repairman scheduled a call for the end of the week. When the repairman didnt show, we called the service. We were told, at first, that someone would be there, and then we were told that we were never put on the schedule. A service man ended up stopping by and told us that the problem is also the main board. It is a common problem that he works on all the time. He continued to tell us that LG was a very poor product, and we shouldnt have purchased it because of all the problems he addresses with them. He said he would order the part and let us know when it came in. The following week, he told us mid-week that he ordered the part and was waiting for it. By the following Monday, my daughter became ill with the symptoms of food poisoning. I contacted LG again to complain and was told they would replace the unit with a new or upgraded model. The representative named Isla took my information and informed me it would be processed within business days as soon as they received a copy of our receipt. I uploaded the receipt and called them back. I was informed that they had received the receipt, and it would be sent to the replacement division who would call me back. Yesterday (5 days later), I called LG and the representative didnt seem to know what was going on so I requested to speak with a supervisor. I then talked to Sherry, who was actually nice and tried to be understanding. She told me that the person I talked to on Monday didnt do anything with the case and was not authorized to promise us anything. She said she would do what she could, but it was up to the Replacement Division to determine what would happen. After being on the phone with her for another hour and breaking down in tears over the frustration of dealing with them on this, she researched our case and assured me that she had sent it to the Replacement Division. A representative named Kim would contact me that afternoon. She also told me that if I didnt hear anything by 4:30 Central time, I should call them back as their day ended at 5:00 Central time. That would give Kim time to talk to me on the status. When I called back, I talked to a person named Courtney and asked to speak with a supervisor. She informed me that the supervisor was away from his desk. I asked her to either find him or allow me to stay on the phone until he returned. She refused and said the only options I had were to either leave a voice message or she would email him. I informed her that after my experience, I didnt trust them to get back to me. I wanted to speak to him immediately, which I was refused. Eventually, I agreed to have her email him with a copy sent to me, and she put me on hold. I was then connected with Kim, who was completely rude, and told me that they were not going to replace the unit. They were going to issue us a refund of the appliance, and that the paper work would be sent to us on Monday because the end of the day was in 12 minutes. She wouldnt bother to do anything that close to closing. She then told me it would take another week to process the paper work, send it to accounting and then eventually, they would issue us a check. If we are lucky, maybe in two more weeks. As far as the refrigerator is concerned, they dont want it back so we have to also figure out how to dispose of it. So now, we have a bad refrigerator that we cant use. The customer service department has been unprofessional AND irresponsible in handling our case, and we have no immediate resolution in sight. It is unacceptable that customers are being treated this way.

LG Waveforce True Balance Washer large capacity - You CAN fit huge amounts of clothes in the washer. This is the only good thing. The BAD - no matter whether you wash one thing or a giant load, it will wash and wash and wash because the load becomes uneven and it is trying to even out the load. Eventually, almost every load, you will have to stand over the load to keep re-positioning the load manually until it finishes washing. If you have time to spend at least 20 minutes watching and monitoring almost every load so you can make it even, then this washer is for you.

I purchased an LG dryer in March 2015 due to the great ratings and owning a lot of LG products. Within a year I started having trouble with my dryer: no heat. I called several times and customer service said it wasnt their unit. They said it was my venting system or electrical. Had someone come out. Nothing wrong with electrical. Tore dryer apart. No lint nothing plugged from lint basket to outside vent. Finally after 5 months they honored their warranty. Took repair company 3 weeks to fix the dryer. Heater and sensor replaced. Not even 6 loads later same issue. So I called corporate office where I was told they were not going to fix my dryer nor were they replacing it. I am not a happy customer. Save your money and purchase a kenmore. I WILL NEVER own another LG product again. They cant stand behind their products. I gave them a 1 star rating because you cannot give them a -5 star rating.

Im thankful that the salesman suggested the extended warranty on the washer as I couldnt afford both. Ive had 7 calls on cups not emptying a new main board a new drawer and clothes needing extra spins because they are still too wet for the dryer (the repair man said I needed to do full loads in order for the machine to spin out right? Yesterday it completely stopped during a wash so now I have to haul a load of wet towels to the laundromat. I now have to wait a week for a part to come in. I was so excited to get this set but I hate it and will never buy any more LG products and I make sure everyone I know that is in the market hears about these machines.

Purchased an LG Dishwasher Model LDF7551ST in July 2012 (serial number 205KWMK0D259). Purchased at Home Depot, that also installed it. After about 2 years the machine stopped working, with a OE error, e.g. it would not drain. The technician came and found a pumpkin seed in the drainage pump. Fixed it. After few months it did it again. LG repair service came again and replaced the drainage pump.A month later we noticed that the hardwood floor got swollen and higher. We checked the dishwasher and we noticed that water was leaking from the pump below the dishwasher. He found that a rubber hose was split where it goes in front of sump pump. He was unable to fix the dishwasher since the hardwood floor was swollen and was blocking the dishwasher. Eventually they replaced the sump pump assembly. They paid the damage to the hardwood floor. Now it does it again. It is an infinite loop. They would not do anything else. Bad product, bad company. Beware!

We bought an LG French door refrigerator in late 2017 and it worked without too many major issues, until October of 2020. In October, it suddenly stopped cooling. We called LG to have repairs made under the 3 year warranty. After many delays, they found a repair company in our area to come out to do the repair. They said it was the compressor, ordered a new one and replaced it. The refrigerator still doesnt work. We have been without a refrigerator now for over two months (for a four person household). I have called LG nearly every day, for the past 6 weeks. I have been elevated to the Executive Service response team. What a joke. I receive a different answer every time I call. After about a month of trying to find an authorized repair person to look at the refrigerator again, LG finally agreed to simply submit a claim for Alternate resolution; i.e. replacing the refrigerator. The claim has been submitted now at least 4 times; there is still no decision on whether or not they will honor our warranty. Every time I call (nearly every day now) I am provided with another excuse as to why there is no decision. This has been the worst consumer experience of my life.

Im writing this letter in regards to my refrigerator. Ive been having problems with my refrigerator since last October after several repairs done to the refrigerator. I had contacted the LG company regarding the fault that I have with my refrigerator. A technician came to check the refrigerator and placed the monitor, and because that they had already replaced the part in the refrigerator previously, they said there was no fault found. So, I asked for a copy of the report, and they refused to send me a copy. They sent me another technician to install another monitor, and the technician was so ore gent man. He said to me I must have bad luck to have the same problem with the refrigerator. I said, Do not say that. Dont mix my luck with a faulty LG product.I called LG and Jackson company. I told them about what the technician said to me and told them I dont appreciate any one, no matter who you are, to come to my house and accuse me of having a bad luck. So, they told me that the manager is away to make the final decision. I kept calling LG, and they said the manager was on holiday that went for a couple of months. Then finally, when I called back in May, they said the manager was back and there were no faults found and that your warranty has expired; you have to get your own technician. When I was going back and forward with LG, I was dealing with Rod. I had mentioned to him if there were no fault found, if I could get a second opinion and compare the results with their report. He refused, and he said, If you get any one to check the refrigerator, it will be no longer covered by warranty. Finally, I called last 14/8/2012 and complained how its not fair that I have been treated like it. It is not my fault for having a faulty LG refrigerator. Im still waiting for Jackson to call me again, going through what we have been through for the past almost 10 months. Thank you for your time.

My husband and I bought this dishwasher last May 2015 NEW with the fridge and stove. This dishwasher is probably the worst dishwasher ever!! Its the model with the 3rd rack, sounds convenient right? Wrong!!! It sucks, yes I can put knives and silverware on the top row but it leaves very little space for your glasses. So any glass taller than 6 inches does not fit!! Which means they have to take up space on the bottom rack or Im forced to hand wash! Now the bottom row... The lines that are suppose to hold the dishes do not stay standing up. The silverware basket is in three sections that is suppose to lock to together, it falls apart if you just put a fork in it. The large bottom rolling basket is constantly coming off the tracks! It takes 2 1/2 hours to run a normal load and an hour to run a quick load. The quick load does do a good job and usually have to rewash items. I hate this dishwasher and the only place it belongs is in the trash dump! WARNING DO NOT BUY IT!!!

I bought LG fridge in Nov. 2014. It was dead by the end of June. Im not sure because the reading temp. at the door is still at 37/-2 degrees. I found out it was not working when all my food are rotten in the bottom freezer and smelly in the fridge. I called customer service on 7/10 who gave 2 repair service phone numbers. I contacted them and both didnt have any opening til next month. I called LG again, they gave me another 2 names. I asked if I can call any service that will offer earliest service. She said no because the service need to be LG authorized. I then called 1 of them. The tech came on 7/12 and found the compressor is ineffective. He charged $100 for trip/diagnose. If I have him repaired the fridge he will deduct this charge into the total labor which is $485.I called the customer service again to see if they can reimburse me for the cost of the compressor so I can buy a new fridge instead of paying that much for repair. They said no and at this time they offer me the flat rate repair of $362 for one-time service 60-day warranty or $485/1 year. I asked them if I can use the tech who diagnosed the problem before, they said no because he is not authorized by LG. Thats such a lie (They give me the referral). I asked why not offer me this at first. He said he didnt know. Anyway, I ordered the $362 repair and they charged up front. A confirmed email was sent and schedule for repair on7/17 between 8-12 pm. I took a day off to wait for them. Nobody showed up nor called. I called customer service. After being on hold for awhile, she said the service tech was behind so he couldnt make it.Being asked what will they do to correct it, she said she will send email to higher department to find another service for me. She didnt offer refund nor feel sorry about the situation. I asked to talk to the manager (direct number was requested). I called only to talk to a rep. again, go through all issues again. He put me on hold for over 20 still no response. After reading all complaints about LG. I found out that all issues lead to one result that LG just tried to drive customer around and postponing the solution. I have tried several times to call the supervisor just to wait for 20+. I tried to live chat, after being transferred to repair service dept., I waited there for 30 nobody responded. I emailed them only to get sorry for your inconvenience, we will take your input to improve our service. No problem was solved. Now I dont know what they plan to do on my repair order. No phone call nor email. I think Im going to call the federal trade and general state attorney to report this issue. My first tech told me that dont be tricked by the long term warranty. LG and Samsung parts are very hard to find and easy to break. This is the worst appliance brand and customer service I have ever seen. Im so upset that I spent that much money to buy this crap for over 2 years. I wonder why they still exist on the market. If I can give 0 star, I would.

I have three LG appliances and I have major problem with all.My microwave shelf makes contact with the oven wall because of too much play with shelf brackets and because the shelf should be smaller that what it is. It burned a line through to the metal and arced sparks. I wrote to the company service on the LG website but they did not reply. Today I called LG. The company representative said that it was no longer covered with warranty. I stressed that it was a safety issue and a design flaw. I switched to a supervisor who did not budge from that stand. I explained that it has been that way since day one but I had been very careful, that I always pull the shelf to the most forward position. Of course, as it should be safe for everyone. She said that she could have someone repair it at my expense. I said this was not acceptable. She then said I should buy microwave paint at the hardware store to fix the oven before using it again and not to operate it in the future with the shelf in, some solution! She also said the manual explains when to remove the shelf. I asked if it says never to use the shelf since that would be the only way to avoid the problem. She acknowledged that it did not. I reminded her of the light relay fire issue that they had with their refrigerators and that LG avoided the responsibility for that for about 4 years. Online reports made it clear that they only started to cover the repair recently on the 2005 models. I also made note of the problem with the leaking of the water through the seam between the two panels on the front of the dishwasher. She noted my problem but again, she said that it was off the warranty, but that she would send someone to my home to repair it at my expense. Again, this problem exists since day one. Someone needs to make these people responsible for their products. The refrigerator incident could have burnt my house down. Heaven knows what damage the toxic fumes from the microwave could cause.

If I could give this washer 0 stars out of 5 I would. I bought the washer in January of 2018. I used it for about 2 weeks when it started banging and sounded like it was going to come through the floor. I called LG and they sent out a service tech to come look at it. The balance bar was broken and numerous other parts had to be replaced, and of course one was on back order. We finally got it fixed after almost 3 weeks of it being broken. Now we are in April of 2018. The washer starts to shake again & make the same noises as before, only this time I have leaking all over my floor. I call LG again to see what can be done. I talked to 3 different people, was on hold for almost 2 hours, the last person being a manager who was rude, and very unhelpful. I ended up scheduling another person to come out to diagnose the washer, of course a week and a half out. The technician comes to diagnose the washer on a Monday, I dont hear anything back from them and on Wednesday I get a text from LG saying I have a repair order for yet ANOTHER appliance repair company. I call to see what is going on and LG states that the first appliance company said the job was too big for them and their company is not able to do it (this was a company that LG hired). They hired another appliance company and again, they are more than a week out with scheduling. After talking again to LG they are not scheduled to come FIX it, but to diagnose it. This is after I talked to the first appliance repair company and having them tell me that the washer needs to be completely rebuilt and that the LG engineering department told them that there is over $500 worth of just parts. At the end of my phone call I asked to speak with someone higher up, and they stated someone would call me in 24 to 48 hours, and of course 24-48 hours later, no phone call. I am BEYOND frustrated with LG. I have been without a washer for longer than I have actually used mine. I would NEVER buy this washer again, let alone another appliance from LG. Their customer service is terrible and it has been a highly disappointing experience dealing with LG.

Our LG microwave is a low performer compared to our last. It took much long
Our LG microwave is a low performer compared to our last. It took much longer to heat foods through. The buzzer letting us know it was done was very quiet, but the microwave itself was very loud and annoying (rumbling, rattling and humming). The biggest set back is the touch panel, it is impossible to see the settings since there is no backlight. Unit seems to get very hot as well.

I have had this washing machine about a year and noticed that the blanket
I have had this washing machine about a year and noticed that the blanket’s come out as dirty as they go in. The clothes don’t get clean. I haven’t had it break at all but the quality of the washing is so bad I am going to try and sell this one and buy a front load. I have to take my clothes to the laundromat to make sure they get clean!!!! Why did I bother with this piece of junk? I would leave no stars if that was allowed. They should recall all of these and give us our money back. I will NEVER buy a top load again. They just don’t clean like my old front load that lasted about 10 years before I had to replace it and I had to pick a piece of junk. Anyone want a used washer? Sell it to you cheap!

Bought a TV in August 2020. After 3 repair attempts over 6 months, LG final
Bought a TV in August 2020. After 3 repair attempts over 6 months, LG finally agreed to refund my money. With much effort, I packed up the TV and sent it back months ago and still havent seen my refund. Had three repair attempts on my refrigerator and its finally fixed (I guess). But were still out $750 for lost food. Now, my 27 month old dishwasher has a control problem and rusted out rack. Both controls and rack have a 5 year warranty but I have to call some appliance-fix-it place to get them to look at it. I bet I get no repair, no parts no-nothing and a lot of wasted time for this. I have $15,000 worth of LG equipment in this house and they arent the least bit interested in helping me. I wont buy another piece of equipment from them again.

I purchased an LG Refrigerator 3 to 4 years ago with Model Number LFC21760S
I purchased an LG Refrigerator 3 to 4 years ago with Model Number LFC21760ST and Serial Number **. Within 6 months time, the plastic shelves in the top refrigerator broke. The company replaced them with the same shelves after I called to complain. Within 6 more months or so, the same shelves broke again, then the long tray shelf cracked completely in two pieces. I did not call to complain as there was no point in asking for more junk replacement parts. This morning, when I opened the refrigerator, the light box had fallen and the contents of my refrigerator were hot from the two hanging light bulbs. I called the company service number above and was told this is a common problem and theyll come out to fix the light bulb box only, not all the broken flimsy plastic shelves. How can I warn consumers not to buy this product? It is just my husband and I who use this refrigerator, and it has not been abused. This was not an inexpensive product, yet it was constructed with junk materials. Please advise buyers to beware of this LG product line. Thank You,Jeanne
