I purchased the Samsung SMH9187ST microwave in May 2011 and installed it in July 2011. The unit failed on September 1, 2012! I barely used it, too. There was no SE error code as I've been hearing or beeping, just a blank display and no response. I unplugged the unit for about an hour and replugged it - no luck. I left it unplugged for 2 days and then it worked again for about a week and today the unit is again completely unresponsive, even after trying to plug it back in after 2 days of being unplugged. I'm in for a class action suit. The company has ripped a lot of people off and should have a complete recall on these units. My biggest beef is that this unit was a pain to install and now I'm looking at dismantling and reinstalling another unit. I'm not so upset about the loss of $245 I paid for it but rather all of my time and frustration. I'm done with Samsung.

I have bought on 3/03/2012 with HHGREGG the Refrigerator, Stove and Microwave since was advice were the best, sure the best piece of trash. The refrigerator the ice maker gets jam. When called the technician said wait till it breaks completely. The Microwave the glass in the door came loose and the microwave extractor came on on its own. Been calling for 2 weeks. HHGregg and the warranty dept said won’t fix since it’s not mechanical and LG knowing it’s an ongoing problem said I am out of their warranty. FOR ALL THIS APPLIANCES BOUGHT A 5 YEAR WARRANTY!

Our experience with Bosch appliances has been mixed but disappointing. First, the first cooktop delivered during a remodel would not function as soon as installed. This resulted in a multi-week delay in the remodel. Next, the microwave failed within a year of installation and then again within another year. We have paid more than $300 in repairs so far. Finally, with regard to business, we were promised a substantial rebate if we installed 3 or more appliances. We installed 4 but have not yet received the rebate. We have been pestering the dealer repeatedly for about 2 years now with no satisfaction. I will never again purchase a Bosch product.

My OTR microwave is just shy of 4 years and I guess a little luckier than most that I just got the error message. Sharp Microwave Drawer model KB6524PS - We had this microwave installed August 20, 2014, cost $824. In December, the bottom of the drawer which is just glass, started to crack and a piece fell out onto the floor. Called Sharp and they said this was our fault and will not cover the repair. I have the appliance store where I purchased it looking into this since I purchased all new appliances there in August. With glass on the bottom of the drawer, it would be very easy to drop something into the drawer and the glass would have shattered. What a poor construction job!

It does what a microwave is supposed to do. Door closes a bit loud, beeps at you when the timer goes off, makes food hot. Some dishes take a bit longer to heat than others, but overall it warms up my leftovers, exactly what a microwave is meant for.

Do not purchase the Kenmore countertop microwave or any Kenmore product. I have lost all faith in Sears and the Kenmore brand. The Microwave tray inside bangs around now and all the paint on inside door when you open the door on the bottom is now all peeling off. This was a total rip off. There is no way this microwave should not have lasted longer. I have my receipt online at Sears.com, was purchased on 4/1/18. Guess the April fool’s joke is on me and they get another consumer’s hard earned money. So disappointed to say the least. Just awful!
