I bought this refrigerator in 2009, and 1 month ago it quit cooling in the refrigerator and the freezer all at once. Got a repairman out to fix it, he said the computer went out. So had to wait almost a month for a new computer board. Finally it came in, he installed it and it still doesn't cool!!!!! So I'm told it can't be fixed, have to buy a new refrigerator. A lot of money to pay for something that's only going to last for 4 and a half years. My daughter has a GE that's about 30 years old that runs like a top! Not happy at all.

The water stops coming out every once in awhile. One time a part broke, but other than that it's done what we've needed from it. The space inside is good and we like the adjustable shelving. When we make a trip back from Costco, it can a little cramped in the freezer, but each month we manage to squeeze everything in there. I like the modern stainless steel look in any refrigerator. So did my wife. The controls were easy to understand. It is good modern-looking refrigerator. We bought it at Best Buy and for the money we spent for it, it did what we wanted it to do. There were better model with more doodads but this one had everything we needed.

Working very well. No problems at all. Keep things cool and frozen. Had for a very long time. Will buy another Kenmore when this refrigerator stops working. My size is small due to the size of my kitchen but would love to have a larger model to hold more food and have a bigger freezer for meats and vegetables. Appearance is a black fridge but would love a stainless steel fridge. Stainless steel looks so sleek and modern. Love the french doors. Value of fridge was a very good sale. Value holds up great on Kenmore products. Would recommend all their products. Never have any problems. Always stays cold in fridge and keeps food in freezer frozen.

We too were having a water leak from the French door freezer and a sheet of ice under the freezer drawer. The repairman came and told us that it was a common problem with the French Door fridge and an easy fix. Maytag has a new P type defrost hose that doesn't freeze up. He changed the part, $149.75 bill, and no more problem. Should Maytag have let consumers know this was a part that was failing? Yes, definitely. But at least the fix was reasonably cheap.

I bought Samsung refrigerator last June 20, 2009 (RF267ABBP/XAA). The ice dispenser started spitting out bits of hard white plastic (some nickel and dime size) with the ice. When I called for repair (still under warranty), the repairman could find no source for the plastic and did nothing. The problem has reemerged now with 1.5 " x 2" piece of hard white plastic and dime size piece of styrofoam.

My refrigerator stopped working 10 back. The incompetent engineers could not replace compressor which is under warranty past 10 days. They recorded computer systems with lies to fool the system to avoid create alert on incomplete service request. In my case they falsely written that the refrigerator is repaired as the information is not accessible to customer and however repeated inquiry revealed the secret of their mischief. I am still struggling to get the refrigerator repaired or replaced. You know without refrigerator you can't keep vegetables milk out for 10 days. Beware of Samsung refrigerator and avoid future disappointment. Hopefully it would help at least one more customer that could be you. God bless customer from Samsung.

Has anyone else been annoyed by what I call a design flaw regarding ice falling behind the drawer? The ice maker drops ice on top of the trigger arm and when the tray is pulled out, ice gets dragged back onto the freezer floor and sometimes bounces out onto kitchen floor. I'm dealing with a local business (who sold the fridge to me) regarding the issue. "I've sold hundreds of these and not gotten a complaint". Well, you are now. I have been asked to bring the bin in to see if it is "warped or something". Yeesh.

I bought this appliance less than 2 years ago. The compressor stop working right after the warranty ended. Lost all food due to LG delay in solving this. The fix from the 1st technician worked for 2 days only. 2nd technician came and fixed the mistakes from the 1st one and the issues with the refrigerator which was the compressor. LG refused to honor the 10 year warranty neither reimburse for the lost food. Never, EVER, buy any LG appliance or you will regret for sure!
