I need a freezer department handles for RF263AFRS Fridge manufactured NOV 2
I need a freezer department handles for RF263AFRS Fridge manufactured NOV 2010, handles have grey plastic parts that go inside the fridge and hold handle by screws. Handle is not broken, it just cannot hold to the fridge anymore because of the broken parts on both ends. I spent 3 months looking for these parts. Called Samsung and the phone #s given by them, no one has these grey plastic parts. Wrote Samsung customer care email asking for help. They got back to me with template saying I should call their customer service (I know the phone # by heart already!). Its been a few months now the fridge is broken. I have difficulty accessing the freezer because of it. The part I am looking for the freezer handle is actually a part of the whole freezer door and to make things a little worse, that freezer door is no longer available. Same fridge broke on month 13th, after 12 month warranty. It was making ice on the back of the fridge. Part was $170 and $150 was the labor. I am very dissatisfied with the product. It was expensive fridge and I was hoping to be able to use it for a while. Now, people from Samsung, how to find these broken parts. Please help!

I would never purchase or recommend a Samsung appliance again after our experience with our Samsung refrigerator that we purchased in Fall 2013. After owning the refrigerator for ~9 months, I began to notice water accumulating under the deli drawer. I thought it might just be normal and cleaned it up every month or so. Around 15 months after purchase, I noticed the water accumulating more often and to a greater degree. Water would spill out of the fridge when we opened the doors (sometimes sheets of ice). I called Samsung and the refrigerator was not under warranty any longer.Over a period of the next 9 months, Samsung sent out 3 different repair companies. None of the companies could fix the problem. Water and ice continued to accumulate, spilling all over the floor whenever the fridge was opened. Large amounts of mildew grew due to the moisture. The fridge had to be shop-vacuumed monthly to clean out all of the water. After Samsung telling us that there was nothing else that they could do, we finally purchased a new refrigerator from a different manufacturer. We moved the fridge to our garage and it is now going to have to be hauled away due to the continual growth of mildew due to the water accumulation problem. We are so frustrated that we spent $2000+ on this refrigerator and it cannot even be used in our garage!

Ice maker is junk! After warranty, no one will work it. Tech came out, once he saw it was a Samsung, he refused to work on it and left! Their TVs seem to be good but would never recommend a Samsung refrigerator. Just waiting for the refrigerator to stop, then buy a Kitchenaid.

My new Samsung refrigerator has the worse smell ever. It is so bad that it permeates the eggs, the carton on my yogurt, throughout the house every time we open the fridge door. We have emptied the fridge twice, thrown out perfectly good food, unopened containers in order to prove to the Samsung reps that it isnt bad food in the fridge. We have washed with baking soda and kept a box in the fridge. Samsung has changed out my ice machine only to find that it was cracked unbeknownst to me. They changed the rubber around the fridge doors (the gaskets) because this new fridge stopped closing correctly. They are changing out the hinges because they told me they are broken. The only thing they havent done is figured out where the smell is coming from. There are a number of consumer reports on this issue yet I am being told its the food in my fridge. At this point it is a health issue. And even though they gave me an extended warranty for the door issue they tell me I will be charged in the future. I will NEVER buy SAMSUNG again. I bought my washer and dryer at the same time as my fridge to upgrade my appliances and I have never been unhappier with a company. I dont believe they will resolve this based on the attitude and the complaints I have read. I want a replacement for this defective fridge. It is just a year old.

We bought this refrigerator in April 2012. Since then we have had repairs 4 times. Had we not had a extra warranty the first two years, we would have been in trouble. Now the extra two years is up and we are still having trouble. Samsung sent a repairman that stated the fridge was fine but its still broke - the problem still exist. They told us we are not under warranty. Do not buy this product, bad, bad.....

Most of the time most of the dishes are clean, but coffee grounds and such are thrown up into the cups and glasses on the top rack. Stuff in the bottom is okay, as are things in that top drawer for silverware. The dishes are always rinsed off and loaded carefully. Its annoying to always have to check the inside of the cups and glasses. Pots usually get clean on the pots and pans cycle, unless there is stuck on food.

Samsung RB195ACBN - I hesitate to write a negative review. This Samsung refrigerator is a lemon. It started having the freezing and water-under-and-inside-the-crisper problem that others are talking about here, about one year after purchase. Out of warranty and its a known issue so we are out of luck? That is poor support of the product by Samsung.

Eight to ten months ago, I noticed the SE error on my Samsung over the stove microwave. I tried all the advice I found online but nothing worked. I called Samsung to find out what I could do about having it repaired but the microwave was about 18 months old and out of warranty. Blast! The microwave was only 18 months old and now I have to buy a new one. I gave it one more shot and called Samsung again. This time, I spoke to a very nice young gentleman and he came back with, Samsung does extend the warranty for one time repairs, and said he could help me. So he took care of scheduling a repair and after 3 tries of installing a new computer in the microwave, the last one finally worked. So here I am again, just 8 months later back in the same position with no microwave and no Ace in the Hole! Well Im going to give it a shot again and see if maybe my luck will hold out. Life without a microwave is no fun! I will keep you informed.

Samsung Microwave model no SMH9151STE - I received the SE Error for the first time a week ago or so and followed the instructions provided to clear the error so that the microwave can function again. Unplugging did reset and clear the SE error only for about 12 hours and then it came back again. I called Samsung and discovered that my warranty had expired. The microwave is under 2 years old. The angering part is that it took the very nice repairman about 15 to 20 minutes total to switch out the part and correct the issue. The total cost of the part was $33.61. I was charged $135 plus tax for about 20 minutes of labor. This seems like a common error and since this is the case, why doesnt Samsung provide some sort of discount since their product is defective? Samsung should stand behind their products and offer customers experiencing the SE error some sort of discount or no charge for 20 minutes of labor!

Never buy a Samsung fridge. They are awful. I have had nothing but issues with mine. $2,500 for a refrigerator that is constantly breaking, plus the cost of buying the extended warranties every year. The 25 year old fridge I have in my garage works better than my brand new one. I will never recommend to anyone to buy this brand of appliance. Wish I never had bought mine!

The vegetable drawer on the left side kept on freezing over. I had two visits from the repair technician. On his final visit after constantly calling the repair department and following all of their instructions, he came to the conclusion that the fridge was not repairable. Samsung said since it was out of the manufacturer’s warranty. They would give me a prorated refund. Sound like I should be satisfied right? The only thing is that before I can get any money I have to cut the cord and send it in. With a family of 8 what am I supposed to do until then?! I find their policies heartless and immoral.

We purchased the Samsung French Door Refrigerator Model: RF25HMEDB6SA back
We purchased the Samsung French Door Refrigerator Model: RF25HMEDB6SA back in August of 2014 and started experiencing issues 18 months ago. Water was leaking from ice maker into crisper. Ice maker was also freezing up and required defrosting. Also, the refrigerator began making a churning noise so we finally contacted Samsung to get the appliance serviced. They sent a technician from their authorized repair company (HSN) on 6/1. The representative from the company said that it was a bad sensor that needed to be replaced and should not have any more issues. Within 10 days, the churning sound was worse than ever. Called them back, same technician fixed the issue again. Wrong!Long story short, Ive had several interactions with Samsung and their service company with no positive results. Even though I had $200 invested in the repair with Samsung/HSN, I decided to contact a reputable company to diagnose the issue. They informed me that the service company did not follow the service bulletins that Samsung published. The cost to deploy the fixes that Samsung recommended would be over $1K for an appliance that I paid $2400 for not even four years ago! We are now buying a new refrigerator and will NEVER buy another Samsung product. Terrible product and dishonest company.

I purchased a Samsung 4-door refrigerator because I thought I was stepping up the quality for a refrigerator. The unit worked well for the first 13 months, then the ice maker would suddenly stop producing ice for no reason. I waited a day or two and the ice maker started working again. A few months later, I notice water on the floor of my kitchen. I thought my children spilled something. Then my son notice water dripping into the basement ceiling under the refrigerator. I looked more closely and the refrigerator was dripping water. My plumber guided me on shutting off the water to the refrigerator to limit the water damage. A technician came out a week later and took many pictures and troubleshoot the problem. Upon removing the drawers I noticed what was causing yet a second problem and that was a sheet of ice had formed underneath the fourth drawer, turning that drawer into a virtual freezer regardless of what temperature setting.Samsung initially said they would reimburse for the purchase of the refrigerator. I thought that was a relief, for obviously I had a lemon and they knew it. Everything was quiet for four days and when I checked back again the reimbursement had been cancelled. I received NO call, email or anything. Then I insisted if they were to fix the problem they should resolve the freezing of food in the fourth drawer as well as the leaking refrigerator. Then the reimbursement was pushed through again. Then 3 days later, after I received no email. Everything was cancelled, the reimbursement and the repair. So I am a consumer and I typically have refrigerators to just hang out for years. The Samsung refrigerators have gimmicks that work for a minute and then fail and they are very expensive. I would not recommend Samsung refrigerators. Their phones and tablets yes; refrigerators NO! Stick with a manufacturer thats been producing refrigerators for longer than 20 years.

We moved into a townhouse with Samsung Appliances - stove, refrigerator and microwave. The refrigerator periodically buzzes so loud it is obnoxious for a relatively new but out of warranty refrigerator at 6 years old. (Our 22 year old Kenmore at the family cabin is still as quiet as the morning dawn.) I was told by Samsung help to connect the ice maker and the buzzing noise should go away. I had to hire a plumber to run a water line to the refrigerator and connect it. $500 later, I still had a buzzing refrigerator. I called Samsung and was informed the only thing they could offer was their authorized repair service to come out to our seasonal Minnesota townhome and fix it as it is out of warranty. Unique Services Repair Tech came out and felt like the noise was fan-related and recommended replacing fan. Part needed to be ordered, Tech returned a week later, installed and another $500; today we still have a buzzing refrigerator. Called Samsung and a different Unique Services Tech visited over a week later and said the refrigerator is just noisy and the noise cannot be eliminated. We have spent $1000 and still have a buzzing refrigerator. We should have been told that the Samsung model we have runs loud and it cannot be fixed. We would have bought a new refrigerator. The first Unique Services Tech should have told me our refrigerator model runs loud and we cannot fix it. Instead, we spend $365 for a new fan plus the service call $’s charge for a part not needed. Both Samsung and Unique Services are yet to reply to my bad experience. I suspect both Samsung and Unique Service Repair are better than this. From a Customer Service standpoint, I am disappointed at being blown off by their non response to my communicated concerns.

Model RFGTHDRS - I bought this unit 3 years ago. Nearly every plastic bin on both side of the door broke for no reason and had to be replaced. About 2 years after the purchase, I noticed water collecting and then freezing underneath the large pantry drawer, to the point you cant open that drawer. I have to eventually take that whole drawer out and remove the ice buildup. Samsung wanted to charge me $450 for a service call, and they denied being aware of any problem like this. I see it is a very huge problem. I am completely dissatisfied with customer support and this product. I would advise anyone to stay away from Samsung refrigerators. I am also going to the U.S. gov recall website and post there. I hope everyone else does too. This will force a recall and cost them tons of money, which they should be responsible for.

We purchased the Samsung stainless steel bottom freeze refrigerator (Model RF4287HARS) from Lowes last November. The water from the dispenser is fine but the ice has a musty/plastic taste when it melts and is unusable. I contacted Lowes service and they scheduled a repairman to come out and check the refrigerator. The service guy ordered parts and in a few days, replaced the filter housing and hoses. The ice still tasted bad. I called back to Lowes service and they schedule the service guy to come back. He replaced the ice maker this time but that still did not correct the taste issue. I called service back and they suggested scheduling the service guy for a 3rd visit even though all the parts had been replaced. This was suppose to trigger an automatic Cannot be Repaired process and Lowes would request a Return Authorization from Samsung. First, Samsung refused to revisit the taste issue and also refused to issue a Return Authorization number. More or less, Samsung is saying were stuck with a refrigerator we cant use the ice from. Lowes Customer Support called and said they had done all they could do and that we could contact Samsung ourselves. We talked to a person in Executive Support thats suppose to be trying to get this resolved but, for now, were stuck with this refrigerator. We will never buy another Samsung product of any kind!!! If Lowes doesnt handle this to our satisfaction, we wont do business with them any longer and with our house remodeling business, we buy quite a lot from Lowes each year.

In September 2009, I purchased the whole 9 yards of Samsung. I purchased the microwave over the oven, the oven, the dishwasher and the refrigerator - costing me a total of $6000... Last year, I replaced the microwave, and I learned my lesson and purchased the extended warranty. The only OTHER issue I had which is MAJOR and a reason for me to probably bring my business elsewhere, as I will never say never buy Samsung again, is my refrigerator RF266ABRS, 26 cu ft stainless steel French door with the bottom freezer. The first problem I had with the freezer was within the first year I had purchased it - the ice maker was not making ice into cubes but into chunks. They had the technician fix it in no time. Then in March 2013, the freezer was giving us a negative reading of -2; however, when I unplugged the freezer and plugged it back in, it then said 34 degrees. No wonder all my food thawed out and ice was melted. So we called. Samsung said if it’s a sealed system issue, then it will be covered. They set up a transaction number with Va Electronics, who called me and said I had to pay $125 for diagnostics. After kicking my feet, I finally paid, as they could care less. I spoke with the technician as he stated, there is a slow leak causing only my fridge to be cool but not enough to cool the freezer. I asked if the leak should happen again. He said it shouldnt for another 3 years, so okay...I went about my business for 95 days until I opened the freezer to notice all the food had thawed out again!!! So I called Samsung. You name it. I’ve spoken with them, from Krishonda, Boris to Allison. You name it. I’ve spoken to them and every department. Yes, they gave me the roundabout... Hahaha... I was beyond frustrated; I was in tears and handed the phone off to my husband and told him to speak with them. As I was going back and forth with Samsung and Va Electronics, both saying two completely different things and saying, well, ask Samsung and ask Va Electronics... Eventually, someone needs to own up to this defective product that we, as consumers, are initially paying anywhere from $1900 to $3000 to begin with. It makes you think twice when it is time to purchase a new one. Overall, the experience I am dealing with Samsung and Va electronics is leaving a bad taste in my mouth, but it makes me grateful to know that, compared to their customer service, I am like a GOD at what I do. Thanks for doing a bad job. :)

The management company for my apartment purchased for me a Samsung Microwave model 18H704SFS in Sept 2015 from PC Richards. Since purchasing, it has stopped working three times and required service. The problem is with the sensors on the door which have been replaced only to fail again. My old cube microwave (thank God I saved it), which I had for over 15 years, never failed me... and I have had to bring it out of storage each time my new Samsung decided to stop functioning. Wonder of wonders, it still works perfectly unlike my nearly new Samsung.Even though I purchased a 5 yr warranty, all this costs me time in multiple appointments and return visits with parts ordered, not to mention all the phone calls. I just now turned to ConsumerAffairs to read Samsung microwave reviews, something I should have done before I bought Samsung as I see other persons with the very same complaint. I have a Samsung phone which I like. The microwave, however, seems to be a loser. Buyer beware!

If you are expecting this oven to have two separate single ovens, you are terribly wrong. When we bake something in upper single oven the left side of the tray baked perfectly while the right side had raw dough. Of course we contacted to customer service and they promptly responded and send in a tech. The tech stated upper single oven will not bake unless you take the separator out and use whole thing upper and lower single ovens as whole one, despite the product sold and stated that it could be used as 2 single ovens. We called customer service again and after 4 complain tickets and 3 tech visits we learned that we paid 350 additional dollars for the good looks of lame product. This product CANNOT BE USED AS TWO SINGLE OVENS. You cannot use only upper single oven to bake. Last tech even stated on the ticket that, as customer we refused the repair after we lost 3 days of work to meet with theses hopeless people of Samsung techs. Not to mention they seriously check if the electrical power supply is good with voltage and amps on gas oven. They question my wife if she has a clue about the convection oven. Yah! Two different counties certified her as restaurant manager for fun and she ain’t been in restaurant industry in last 20 years. Also to the credit of Samsung they have great 1 year manufacturer’s warranty but unfortunately it starts from the date product manufactured. So if you purchase an oven & stove in Dec 2018 and that unit is manufactured Feb 2018, your one year manufacturer’s warranty expires on Feb 2019 so enjoy your 2 months worth of one year warranty. We have Samsung TV, Home Theater System, Refrigerator, 3 Samsung smart phones and this oven. I can proudly say this is the LAST product I purchased from Samsung. I dont want to see the word Samsung in my house anymore. Now if you are planning to purchase this duo oven I would suggest you to buy yourself a dutch oven and a ton of firewood, at least you can enjoy great outdoors with real fire and may have some good smores cooked evenly. That will be a lot more satisfying than losing tremendous time and effort try to explain people that their product is not doing what it supposed to while they were trying to achieve a different result with sending 3 techs to same issue. I am done with Samsung brand. Good luck to you.

Thinking of a Samsung fridge? Stop, turn, and run away as fast as you can. Compressor on our 6 month old unit began failing nearly two months ago. Terribly loud noises coming from compressor. Over 2 dozen calls to customer service resulted in a list of stupid hoops to jump through. Level the appliance, reset temp, buy and replace water filter... Blah, blah, blah. After 4 weeks, they finally sent technician to look at it. I was told noise was coming from inside compressor (duh) and that there was nothing he could do with it. 3 more weeks passed with no followup from Samsung. So three days ago, fridge totally shot craps. $300 worth of food ruined. Now Im pissed. So now they opened up a 4th case number, and are going to send a repair technician. Problem is, the repair company listed on service confirmation is same company that visited us first time. The same company that is not equipped to work on internal elements of the unit. Meanwhile, were living out of coolers. These people are by far THE WORST I have EVER dealt with in my life. No class, crappy products. Clueless. I no longer want it fixed. I want the piece of crap out of my house. I will never again buy any Samsung branded product. Where can I sign on to a class action suit?

In July 2016, I purchased a Samsung bundle which consisted of a refrigerator Model #RF28HMEDBBC, stove #NX58K3310SB/AA, microwave #ME16K3000AB & dishwasher #DW80J3020UB from Best Buy. I am totally happy with the services that I have received from Best Buy & the Geek Squad, however, I am so dissatisfied with the Samsung appliances. In 7/2018, the ice maker went out (Samsung provides no services!!!). I was told that the ice maker was not properly sealed & the Geek Squad replaced the ice maker. Then 10/2018, brown rust started to form on the bottom corners of the water shoot. The Geek Squad had to replace the entire door. 12/2018, the trim at the base of the oven door (which was glued on) came apart & the Geek Squad had to come back out & reattach it. And now, 12/18/18, as I was cooking dinner & steam was coming from the pot with vegetables (which is a normal thing) in it on the back burn, the stove’s back (oven, timer, & clock is located) started to discolor (my appliances are black!!). So now I have this spot on my stove. I was going to purchase the black Samsung washer & dryer, but after what I’ve experience with the kitchen appliances, there’s no way under the sun I’m going to purchase their washer & dryer. So dissatisfied with my Samsung appliances!

I have had some of the same bad experiences with Samsung products, so I decided to share my experience to help those facing the same problems as me. I have owned the top of the line dmt800RHS dishwasher for less than two years. Initially the only issue was that the dishes would not get clean enough, so I spoke to the Lowes sales person who told me to make sure the water was hot at the sink before I start my washer. Even though there is a heating element in the machine, this did seem to help. Then, we started to smell what a lot of you are complaining about. Finally, the last straw was this latest issue with the machine filling with water but not starting the wash cycle. It also drains okay. I took the washer outside and removed everything inside it. Dont worry, its not rocket science, you can do it too. Just take your time. What I found was a piece of calcium stuck between the impeller and deflector. The calcium had hardened on the heating elements. I had to remove trapped food from inside the screen. I believe that is where the smell is coming from. I laid the machine on its back and removed the white plastic cover on the bottom that has two screws. Use a flat tip screw driver to release the tabs. Once inside, use a pair of pliers to pinch and slide the clamp back to remove the black hose at about the middle of the washer bottom. Stand it upright and blast the interior with your garden hose. If you live with hard water and your heating coil is covered with calcium put the hose back on and in the upright position submerge the coil in a CLR/water mixture. It might be a good idea to use a dishwasher cleaner monthly to keep the odor and calcium down. I hope I helped someone.

Six months later started noticing in both veg compartments moisture build up & totally ruining my fresh fruit & vegetables. I have contacted Samsung online tech services and most recently and followed chat instructions and still the problem is not fixed; only worse? I have currently removed both veg baskets & leave a heavy towel to absorb moisture. This moisture/water compensation causes mold build up along the side of the two doors & top realm of freezer. Im a very disappointed & unhappy customer; I also have asthma condition & this mold is most unhealthy even for someone not compromised. I had previous refrigerator bottom freezer type & NEVER experienced any moisture in upper refrigerator.

We purchased a Samsung dishwasher on 10/30/15. It began failing and showing error codes three weeks after its one year warranty expired. Samsung sent techs out three times, twice with no charge and never fixed the fundamental problem; the machine stopped cleaning dishes. Samsung made exceptions and we did not pay a cent for the service visits, but it was utterly impossible to get the company to simply replace the washer as it was just not functioning any longer. Short fused customer service at best and obviously a product line that is inferior. A class action lawsuit ought to be initiated against the company for anyone who bought a dishwasher that has failed in the past 5 years. An abhorrent experience with a dishwasher that was less than 14 months old.

Last Thursday, I set the oven to 375 degrees and when it was at temperature
Last Thursday, I set the oven to 375 degrees and when it was at temperature, put chicken in to cook for dinner. About 10 minutes later, we heard a loud pop and smoke began to pour out of the back of the control panel. Then flames appeared. We turned off the house circuit breaker and used a fire extinguisher to douse the flames. The oven door locked as though it was on self-cleaning mode. We waited until the appliance had completely cooled and removed the back of it to see where the fire had occurred. It was clearly a short in the wiring that caused the fire.If we had not been close by to hear and see the fire as it started, it could have easily spread. As it was, the house was filled with acrid smoke, and 3 days later, there is a lingering bad odour from the fire. All we lost was about $40 worth of chicken and the stove itself - we had to pry the oven door open to remove the uncooked meat, because we were afraid to plug the stove back in to see if the door would release on its own. We have three children, one of whom is a 7 month old baby, and my senior citizen parents were visiting - we are lucky that no one was injured, and that the kitchen and the rest of the house suffered no real damage. All of us have breathing problems due to asthma and allergies, and we all had headaches, sore throats, and irritated sinuses from the smoke. We are extremely upset at the dangerous situation that occurred. It was clearly the result of shoddy design and a cheaply constructed product. My husband paid $1400 for this stove five years ago when he was living alone. He barely used the appliance until September 2012 when I moved in with my two children. Since then, we have used it every day for typical cooking. We should be able to expect a stove to endure regular use for more than 3 years without any issue, especially given the initial price paid. We should be able to expect a certain standard of safety, where a household appliance should not light on fire without warning, putting life and property at risk.Since January this year, the two front elements on the stove top have malfunctioned. It is not possible to control the temperature setting on these elements - they are either off or on high. This is likely attributable to a short circuit in the wiring as well (one that did not result in a fire) since the problem occurred suddenly. In retrospect, the malfunctioning elements were clearly a sign that the appliance was dangerously flawed. We have emailed Samsung to request compensation for the loss of our appliance, and for the fact that it caused a fire that endangered our family and our home. We would like Samsung to take responsibility for funding a replacement appliance, since it is obviously the fault of the design and construction of this stove that it malfunctioned, in the amount of $1400. We will not accept a repair, since the appliance is now unusable, nor will we accept a replacement Samsung stove, since we could never trust it. We would like Samsung to be held accountable for the shoddy household range it produced.I have reported the incident to the Canadian Standards Association to complain about their alleged inspection and endorsement of this inferior and dangerous product, but according to the website, they will not publicly report on any findings if they investigate my claim because of confidentiality concerns. I interpret that to mean that they are protecting manufacturers rather than consumers. In the past, we have also owned a Samsung dryer, which we replaced in January 2015 due to a similar break-down. The dryer stopped heating up after only 3 years of regular use - we assumed it was due to the element burning out, but did not investigate further.

I have a Samsung Model RFG297HDPN French door refrigerator. Six weeks ago the ice maker stopped working. I removed the ice maker and brought it to a repair shop. They checked the ice maker and it was working properly. I contacted Samsung and they gave me the name of an authorized Samsung repair center. The service man came out, checked the ice maker and said it was fine. He then checked the water valve going to the ice maker and said it was bad. He tried ordering just the valve, but Samsung stopped selling just the valve due to water leaking problems occurring by just changing the valve. He had to order an entire valve assembly. The service man stated Samsung had upgraded the valve assembly four times in the past 3 to 4 years, due to problems. The new valve assembly arrived yesterday after being delayed for over 4 weeks. Eighteen hours after the new valve assembly was installed the ice maker has not produced one cube of ice. Contacted the service man again this morning and he is coming out on Monday and will try installing a new ice maker. Like so many other articles I read, Samsung does not stand by their products. There are page, after page, after page of complaints regarding Samsung refrigerators. A $3,000.00 refrigerator and the company has the worse service in the industry. Im now contacting my State government consumer affairs agency, and filing a complaint. Im also contacting law firms and hopefully will find one that will file a class action suit against Samsung.

He shows up & states I need a new ice maker and had to order it. No ** Sherlock! Fixed it on second service call. Now 12 months and Dishwasher makes a loud bang then stops, making only a loud electrical hum. You know that hum, the on that says the pump/motor just crapped its pants. Today Im looking for a new fridge and hoping they will take this p. o. s. in on trade because I know I wont get close to the price I paid if I sell it outright. It is not worth the stress to hang onto it. Never been so disappointed with a fridge. I cannot clean the outside water stains. The repairman said theres a product that will work but didnt know the name of it. The door seal is so thin that it had a worn spot. He didnt recommend replacing that. Its only 3 years old. I have had this dishwasher running now for a month. From the first load it has not washed my dishes properly. I always have food particles left on my dishes. I had a service tech come out and state, that is how Samsung dishwashers perform. You have to wash your dishes in order for it to wash the dishes. When I called Samsung to complain and verify what the tech stated, they initially told me that no pre-rinsing or pre-washing was required. But 5 minutes into the conversation, they tell me that the tech is correct, dishes must be pre-washed and pre-rinsed.The service tech had also told me that the Samsung dishwashers are notorious for leaking. He has to replace hoses and units all the time because the plastic tubing gets pin hole leaks from wear and tear off the hot water coming in and out of it. Buyer be aware! Now I go back to Home Depot and they will not return or exchange the product because it has been more than 48 hours since we have had it (but less than 90 days from purchase, and less than 30 from installation - and installation was paid for separately when we were ready to install as we were going through a kitchen renovation and needed more time for the cabinets to be completed). Reading on these Consumer Affair complaints, it looks like its time for a class action lawsuit.

First off it never dried the dishes then approx 6 month later it would stop in mid cycle blinking lights on panel. After a long hard researching & calling Samsung I was told the issue was the turbidity sensor, I replaced that & it worked for about 3 months. Then it started the same thing, now I am told its the main control panel.. (no I did not get extended warranty). Still waiting for the call (in all fairness it has only been 24 hours). Looked at reviews for this model, found that the general consensus is that it is a design flaw that cannot be fixed. Best Buy will allow me to exchange it within 15 days. I am on day 14, so am going to exchange it for a Whirlpool and hope I have better luck. At least Whirlpool parts should be easier to get if there is a problem, since it is an American product.

4 months ago my 14 month old Samsung electric stove went up in flames after setting the self cleaning oven on, went outside to let the dog out. I heard the fire alarm going off and smoke was coming out the windows. The fire started in the back of the computer it burned the microwave which was also a Samsung. I called Samsung and they sent a tech out a few days later. The tech said it was the computer. The Fire Marshall also agreed that the fire came from within the control panel. I called Samsung and they said they would take care of everything. We had estimates and sent pics, etc. They said they would pay for the cost of repairs to my home (est. $22,000.00). Samsung said we would have to send it to our insurance company, aka Samsung marine & fire. They were going to cut a check 2 months later. They continued to keep giving me the run around; stating oh we sent the stove Korea for inspection first. Guess what? Samsung said its my fault because we put something on the stove. But we are all liars but the folk in Korea, the fire marshall, the Samsung tech and the pics?? Im not done with Samsung yet. Im not a quitter!!!

I bought this refrigerator two years ago. Paid almost 4000 for it and its been trouble ever since. First they cant seem to get ice maker to work right so I had to manually defrost monthly. Now for the big issue, this is a dual zone model meaning it has two compressors one for each zone, well the top zone compressor went out. Service man came, ran diagnostics. Sure enough compressor quit. Samsung now says this is a non repairable item. So at this point the fridge is junk. Samsung says they will buy it back but have been dragging their feet on how much they will give me or when this will happen since November 16. They are still seller my the dual zones and not disclosing that if compressor goes out its a throw away. I will never buy Samsung anything again.

BEST ADVICE WE CAN GIVE IS DO NOT BUY A SAMSUNG REFRIGERATOR!! Bad design and poor to NO customer service. HERE IS OUR STORY: After 3 months refrigerator stopped cooling. Door said 36 degrees inside was 50 degrees. Called customer service and they said they could not get anyone out for 2 weeks. So milk products spoiled first and then other food stuffs if we did not eat it quickly.Tech made some sensor repairs which did not fix the problem. Called back in a week and it took a week to get a tech out this time. More repairs and he had to order another part. 2 weeks later tech made final repair and the refrig worked for 6 months and then started to not cool again. We called and said this was the 3rd time it failed and we wanted our money back. Take the refrig and give us our money back. That was Sept 2013. It is now Feb 2014 and have called almost weekly which is a minimum of 30 to 45 min on the phone ea time repeating the same information over and over, sent their required documentation in 2 times and ea time they say it will be reviewed and someone will call.NO ONE HAS EVER CALLED TO CLOSE THIS OUT!!! Oh, they did a very sneaky trick of not closing the ticket out after each repair, even though they DID DO 3 DIFFERENT REPAIRS. Customer service said that this was in effect only one repair for the same problem, but I watch and I know they did 3 different repairs to try and fix the same problem, not cooling in the freezer and in the refrig part. We have even tried getting the company we bought it from to help but they cannot get SAMSUNG to address it. So we had to buy another refrig in middle of December 2013 and push the junk Samsung one over to the side.

Buyer beware. Samsung will not reimburse you for out of pocket expenses for repair of their refrigerator. I purchased a French door Samsung fridge in June 2017. I tried to remove the ice bucket. It was frozen, I called customer service, the fridge was only 3 months old. Samsung sent their appliance tech over to install a new ice bucket. The tech said to unplug the fridge so the ice would melt and he could replace the defective ice bucket. I said, Then the meat & dairy products would spoil. I was told to put it all in the bottom freezer, with dry ice on top. I said, Who will pay for the dry ice. Samsung will reimburse me for the cost of the dry ice. Well that never happened. After numerous phone calls I decided to contact BBB in New Jersey to file a complaint. A rep from Samsung did call after BBB sent them my complaint. Well I got a different story from the Samsung rep. Samsung does not reimburse customers for their out of pocket expenses, even if their fridge is only 3 months old. This is a Billion Dollar Corp. I told the rep and Samsung wont refund me $51.00. I have bought 3 major appliances from Samsung and I must say Im sorry I did so. My refrigerator had 3 problems the 1st year and 30 days after the fix, it died again only to hear Samsung say, Too bad, so sad. My washing machine just after warranty died. Too bad, so sad. And now my $2,000 60 Plasma after 2 years went bad. Too bad, so sad. I have literally wasted hours and hours on the phone with the support groups and the customer satisfaction groups. The best that they offered was a one-time visit for parts only by the tech to repair the problem. So, if I get a new tech or one that doesnt care and a 2nd visit is necessary, I pay for the labor and parts on the visit. Again, I pay labor and diagnosis the 1st visit they pay for parts, but when asked if the tech needs to come back, will they pay for parts? Their reply is, You can call us and we will see. Translation: Screw you. I have spent over $5,000 in the last 3 years with them and I wont ever buy another SAMSUNG PRODUCT again. EVER! General Motors did the same thing to me at 42K miles when the head gasket let loose and blew the motor on my car. I now own Toyotas & Hondas. Koreans build crap as do the Chinese. If you want quality, stick to Sony, Hitachi, or Toshiba. I am now on a campaign to spread the word about Samsungs quality issues. $5,000 gone for 3 products that were crap within the warranty period or just after. Beware America. I bought a French Door, 2 drawer blue stainless Samsung refrigerator Model # RF25HMEDBSG 19 months ago. The icemaker started freezing up immediately after the 12 month warranty expired. I have deiced the icemaker 4 times in the last seven months. This week the fan in the back started making noise because it was rubbing on an ice buildup in the coils. This isnt what I expected when I laid out $ 2,088 for what I thought was a quality product. I didnt think I would need an extended warranty to cover the first three years. Wrong!! I looked at a YouTube video which saved me a service call which would have cost about $300 from Dish. What I learned was that there is a way to do a manual defrost for the coils that is not in the Users Manual. Empty your refrigerator. On my model, press the top item on the left side of the display which is Freezer and the middle item on the right side which is Lighting and hold for 12 seconds. It will go through a series of displays and stop on the last which is FD for Fast Defrost. This activates the heating elements to defrost the coils. It beeps for 30 or 40 minutes then stops which I assume means that the defrost is complete. I carefully defrosted the icemaker with a heat gun on low from a distance. That was 3 days ago and I have icemaker ice and no fan noise. We shall see how long it holds up. The YouTube showed an older model but by pressing the SAME LOCATIONS on the display twelve seconds, FF came up and he had to press a function three or four times until the Fast Defrost FD started. Use at your own discretion. I hope this saves you some repair $$.

We purchased a Samsung SMH9187ST microwave from Lowe’s on 5/04/2010. Fifteen months later, we started getting the SE code and beeping as others have mentioned. We unplugged the unit and re-plugged and it worked for another 24 hours then started beeping again and showing the code again. My husband is attempting to go a little further and take off the control panel. Well see what happens. We are just so disappointed that you cannot expect an appliance with a cost of almost $300.00 to last at least 5 years!

I too bought the French Doors Samsung refrigerator. Five ice maker repairs, water in floor, 80 degrees in fridge side and the clicking of the fan as it starts hitting ice buildup and then dies a painful death. This refrigerator is truly junk and is not inexpensive. I have had it four years and as I type this it is not working. Tech suppose to come Tuesday the 14th of August. Repair if able to be repaired will only last short while. To say the least I am give up fooling with this expensive piece of junk and will never buy another Samsung fridge.

Pros: Im still not a fan of the look of the four door, but it is practical. The fourth door temp can be adjusted as opposed to leaving it as a freezer. We dont much frozen food so, this is fairly convenient. Cons: Cabinet depth is 24. We paid a lot of extra money for a cabinet depth refrigerator that stick out an extra 4 inches. The ice maker doesnt work well either.

I bought the whole package of Samsung products and over a few years little things start to break and letters have fallen off of the microwave, igniter is bad in the oven, ice maker freezes up, washer lining went bad and started leaking. Their product is crap and the customer service is trained not to help you, they tell you there’s no one in your area to fix it, that you need to find your own repair man. My question is why does Lowes and Home Depot and other retailers sell and support them and you don’t have a service center for them. I will not buy another Samsung product, and I suggest you research before spend 8000.00 dollars on junk.

I purchased an over the stove microwave Sept 17, 2014 from Lowes Monroe, Michigan. Thanksgiving Day Nov 27, 2014 (yesterday) while warming up cheese dip I was smelling electrical burning. I looked and my Microwave, it was blowing black smoke out of the vents. I opened it up and my house filled with BLACK smoke. I turned it off. Needless to say its only about 2 1/2 months old. I called Lowes and they said I was out of the store warranty BUT they would sent out a service company. REALLY???!!!??? NEVER AGAIN SAMSUNG!!! Model # SMH2115. If I hadnt been standing in my kitchen, my house would have caught fire WITH 30 people inside of it for the holiday. Extremely dangerous.

It was purchased to replace a worn out GE microwave. It works fine but the rotary plate in the middle is smaller than the GE so that is taking some adjustment. It has three less auto buttons (no baked potato button, etc.) but we are adjusting to that as well. Overall, we’re happy with it. The Samsung microwave SMH8165ST was purchased approximately 2 years ago from Lowes. First the light kept coming on and off by itself for a day or two. We unplugged overnight, same thing. Then the SE code came on. We looked online and there were many, many complaints about the SE code and at the same age of microwave as ours. Some people suggested taking off the touch board, replugging everything and putting it back. For some it worked. We simply plugged and unplugged the wires inside, replaced. Now the microwave is completely dead. Customer service just gave me a number to buy a new keypad. No more Samsung for us.

March of 2015, we purchased a Samsung Refrigerator from Nebraska Furniture Mart. A month after purchase, the ice maker stop producing ice. Called NFM and was given Samsungs number. Technician came out at least 4 times, only supplying temporary relief. Technician said, this is a manufacture problem. He said, Theres a sleeve in the back of the refrigerator that allows air to come in and with sub-below temperatures over freezes the ice maker, not allowing the ice make to function properly. After calling Samsung, they continue with the troubleshooting techniques. If you are experiencing this problem, dont allow the operators to troubleshoot your issue. Demand for a service tech. Tech from NFM set the temperature control way too cold. Fresh produce, butter, cheeses in the midsection of the refrigerator was freezing. Found out the correct temperature should be set on 0 and 37. To set you must hold the numbers one at a time for at least three to five seconds. Heading back to NFM to complain. If purchasing this refrigerator, spend the extra money and buy the warranty. A home warranty plan may also help defer the cost. NOT HAPPY WITH SAMSUNG RIGHT NOW!

I should have done my homework before installed this almost 60 LB waste of space over our stove. Shortly a year after owning it, it began beeping in the night. What we then found was the dreaded SE code had begun -- one only needs to Google it to learn all they need. Thankfully, there are actually YouTube videos showing how other consumers had to save their microwaves from this product failure...so we did it as well, and it worked...for about two months. And then the microwave stopped working entirely. What a waste of several hundred dollars! Shameful they just didnt stand by their products and recall and correct the issue.DO NOT BUY THIS MICROWAVE!!

I purchased a Samsung refrigerator in 2013 RS265TDRS. Immediately the ice maker had issues, and I have to continue to defrost the ice maker monthly and the dispenser gets clogged. It was embedded in the door, now I see they have abandoned that approach. My bigger issue is that this year the refrigerator stopped working and wouldnt cool. The temperature gauge showed 38 degrees but it was warm and all food spoiled. Had to pay a repairman to come out and tell us this is a common problem with Samsung refrigerators and they need to be defrosted constantly, especially in humid areas and not to use the energy saving setting. He basically indicated the auto defrost is no longer working and it would be cheaper to buy a new fridge than to fix this one. Even though Samsung shows 10 year warranty on the compressor, what good is that if you cant use the fridge after only 6 years and after talking to Samsung they only cover their product for 1 year. Lowes had a 3 year extended warranty. Repairman said he has better experiences with other brands.

Oh, my gosh. 28cf French Door, luckily with a five-year extended warranty. After less than 2 years, plastic crisper drawers cracked. Since we just moved in, there was minimal items in drawers. They said it was normal wear and tear. Original owner was 85 years old, for goodness sakes. Last year, ice maker froze, was replaced, and froze again. Christmas 2018, whole back wall was all ice. Tech had to stream it to melt. Had to come back with part. Oops. Had to come back again with more parts because back wall was cracked. Samsung claimed it was cosmetic damage. I would not settle for that. Customer service is horrible! The extended warranty company did not want to cover cosmetic damage. I sent a full backup package, with a timeline, to our AG Consumer office and filed a complaint. Shortly after that, I received a check for the purchase price as a warranty buy out. DO NOT BUY A SAMSUNG!

I have a 3 year old Samsung refrigerator that went out Labor Day weekend. We had a total loss of food due to this. I contacted Samsung they set us up with one of their contractors on a priority call. With that said it took them 7 days to come over, the repair person said his leak detector for Freon did not work so he came back the next day. No leak was found so they would next step order a new dryer for the unite. That took 8 more days to come in. When the 2ND repair person came with the dry he first re checked for a leak and out it in the sealed system. So the dryer was not even needed. He sent the information via his phone to Samsung that day and told me I would be contacted with in 48 hours. Well I tried to contact Samsung and let them know the 48 hours was up and after 1 and on half hours on hold I finally was able to speak to a person. That gave me a new case number and ask for receipt information to be sent via eFax once again the 48 hour rule goes in. No call back so I take the one hour and forty five minutes to call back. Finally have the correct person on phone that tell me what the first person said was not correct and I needed to email the information to her. I told her we have gone 25 days waiting on them and not having any way to have cold food in out home aside from an ice chest and really was beyond frustrated at the lack of help I was getting, her response was it will take 48 hours to the buy back department to contact me. I ask if I could speak to the them or have a extension number to not have to spend that long on hold and constantly get a wrong area to pick up and was firmly told no! I informed the lady that if this was to be a buy back I would like to just know if it is okay to purchase a new refrigerator and would Samsung send me a check at some point to reimburse me. I was told in not a nice way I could buy anything I want but Samsung would set the terms as to how I would be paid that we must keep the dead unit until further information was sent to us. So here we are with nothing still - there is no excuse for this to happen. We have lost all food, cannot have or store food and really need a company that give a ___p.

After two years, my Samsung SRS594HNSS two-door fridge started to freeze over on the left inside vent. It stopped working shortly after. I had the fridge for 2 1/2 years. When I contacted Samsung, who put me on to their agent, he installed a kit which cost me with labor $AU250. It took five weeks for the kit to come and it was over two months before the job was done. The fridge is now freezing over again. Samsung said it was out of warranty. I told Samsung that no one would buy an expensive fridge that would only last 2 1/2 years. It has been four months now since I contacted Samsung and their agent and the fridge is now 2 years and ten months old. I rang Samsung and they said the kit was under warranty and to call their agent again. The agent wants to charge me all over again for the labor. The agent for Samsung said that he had installed lots of these kits and never had any trouble, which makes me think it is a fault in the fridge. Samsung said it wasnt. Why the kit then? The complaints department staff were courteous and helpful. I realize it is not their fault, but a company policy. I had to buy another fridge during the hot Australian summer while waiting for the repair to be done. I am disappointed with Samsung as I have bought their products before including an expensive washing machine. I wont be buying any Samsung products from now on if they dont do the right thing by me.

Well I know why they call it a wall of water, as that is what you will find on your floor! Weve had two service calls at a cost of $160 on the dishwasher and now, based on the horrendous number of reviews and stories have decided that putting more money in it is foolish. We bought a higher end Samsung dishwasher at Best Buy on Black Friday, 2013. It was delivered 12/9/2013. It ran once through all cycles and dishes were dirty. Ran it again and it stopped and started blinking (many complaints say the same). So, we called Best Buy right after the new year to ask for help. Their one month warranty was up and further repairs were to be covered under Samsungs warranty. Well, two service calls later, they have to order a whole new computer panel. This is insane that an out-of-the-box dishwasher is defective. Called Samsung to ask for a replacement, and they denied it and said they will wait and see what the next replacement part does and if the issue is resolved. I will NEVER buy any Samsung product again and will hire an attorney to get my $700 back. This is outrageous that I have had to miss work 2 days already and now a third time? I bought a new Samsung 33 in. W 17.5 cu. ft. French Door Refrigerator at Home Depot and within the first year it started leaking. As it was still under warranty I called to have someone look at it. Unbeknownst to me, Samsung does not service my area, despite living only a few miles from the Home Depot where I bought it. Surprisingly, Samsung offered me a refund in lieu of service. While I would have preferred service on the fridge, I saw that this a common problem and there is a class action lawsuit against Samsung for this fridge. As well, I didn’t want a fridge with a defunct warranty. So, I accepted their offer for a refund and had them come pick up my fridge, buying a new one out of pocket to replace it.Six weeks and 50 phone calls later I am yet to see any refund, only a trail of multiple ticket numbers and crossed wires. This process has truly been the most inefficient, contradicting, and burdensome experience I have had with a company in my thirty plus years. Each person has told me something different and no comprehensive steps have been given. At one point recently, I was told that I was going to get an exchange. Well, I already bought a new fridge to replace the one they took and who would want a fridge with all these issues, that can’t be warrantied, plus that’s not what I had been told the entire time. So now I am out $1000 buying a replacement fridge and have no signs of being reimbursed. Many people are struggling with bills and for one of the largest corporations in the world to take advantage of their consumers in this way is truly sickening to me. I can’t imagine what a struggling family would do in this situation, having to spend hours on the phone, and hundreds of dollars out of pocket, not knowing if this corporation just completely screwed them over. While I wait to see if I get a refund or if it’s theft, I can only advise other consumers to stay far away from any Samsung appliance purchase. I advise any retailers to reconsider selling their products, or at the least, warn your consumers that Samsung doesn’t service many major metropolitan areas – even if it’s right by the store it came from. Lastly, I would like to tell Samsung that you can do a lot better. I am sure you try to break a lot people through this process, hoping they will just give up, as most of us don’t have time during our day to call up a 1-800 number and explain to a new person what the situation is, every couple of days, for weeks on end. I am beyond disappointed with this process and I will never purchase nor recommend any of your products or services.

It would be sent to the dealer nearest to our town where I could pick it up at that price, or mailed to me for $12.99 (I chose the pick up). The parts person also helped by directing me to a website as to how to take the door apart to get at the broken latch. I discovered many other sites where people had had problems with Samsung door latches failing, SE problems, etc.Anyway, when I took the door apart and got the latch out, there were a couple of other broken plastic pieces also. I picked up the new piece yesterday, brought it home, and discovered from looking at some other websites that some people had to glue broken plastic bits back on the door in order to get everything to work (they apparently hadnt ordered a new part). My new part didnt include the other plastic pieces, as they had been part of the inside of the door! They were very small, and very thin, and were part of the guides for the latch, and one of them appeared to be the piece that would anchor the spring that would attach to the latch. Crazy glue or epoxy wasnt going to fix that piece well enough to allow a spring to re-anchor for the stress on the latch. My wife and I do not slam the microwave door, and at our age (mid-60s), we realize were now living in a throw-away society, but this is ridiculous! It looks like well need a new door, as the whole internal part of the current door contains these tiny plastic anchors. Samsung knew or ought to have known that these pieces would not stand up to repeated use over more than a few years before the stress on them would cause them to fail. Why would they not have used reasonably strong metal anchors? While Im not a lawyer, one would think that those of us that have had this problem would have a decent case in small claims court or in a class action suit, even though the warranty is over. Does anyone agree? Anyway, after reading the other horror stories and our experience, its the first/last Samsung for us! P.S. So far, we havent had the SE problem, but from the looks of it, we probably will. However, we bought ours at Costco, as mentioned, and they are very good at taking things back from dissatisfied customers.
