Product Reviews:

I am expressing my concern and frustration with Fisher Paykel. I lodged call on the 6/3/2017 as my Fisher Paykel washing machine MW513 was leaking. I did a number of tests to see where the water was coming from and it all directed back to the washing machine. When the washing machine was on high (with clothes in it), it would start leaking from the washing to rinse cycle onwards. (this was clarified to Fisher Paykel on my phone call). When they had initially sent someone out here there was a lot of mucking around and the technician was meant to come on Friday 10/3/2017, he ended going to the wrong place and cancelling my job, which then led to a series of mistakes on FP end. This led to a number of phone calls and a lot of time out from work to rectify their mistake. They then had to send a new technician the following week (16/03/2017), whereby my mum was here and explained and showed the technician the photos and his response to her was when we "wash the clothes on high place the same amount of clothes to the equivalent amount of water and do the cycle." When he conducted his tests there was no water leaking, as he never tried it with the clothes inside. He then cut the pipe shorter as he advised my mum it was too long. He then left for the next job. I came home and did exactly what he said (also advised in his job summary report to me) and again, the leakage started. I then called FP and advised what occurred and what the tech said to my mum.Over the phone they were going to take over 1.5 weeks to come and service my machine when I also advised that a small tile was starting to lift and causing water damage. The after-hours lady told me to call back the next business day as she couldn't do anything about it but could only book the appointment in. I called back the next day and advised the same thing, to which the gentlemen said he will make this a high priority (again to no avail and to a number of mistakes where they had a dryer to service instead of washing machine). A number of calls later and a different tech guy came out on the 22/3/2017. When he came I was here and advised him all of the above and advised for him to see the photos which he never wanted to and stated he "believed me". He ran two water tests on high and no leakage happened (these were fast tracked from filling up the washing machine to the spin cycle, missing the washing rinse part).I did state to him that the leak ONLY happens when the water and clothes are in the machine and set on high. He still never put any clothes in. His advice to me was to "wash my clothes on medium or low and the splash backs will not occur." If that was the case what is the relevance of buying a washing machine to only put the machine on medium and low? After he had left I called the customer service line 22/3/2017 (as clearly I was disappointed, stressed and upset), to which the customer service boy was very rude and basically stated that I am lying. The reason being is I advised him what happened and that I had photos of this and his response was "anyone can take a photo and pretend their washing machine is leaking." I do not believe this is the way to address someone who is already stressed out that her apartment is going to flood and cause damage to below / surrounding apartments, as well as my own.I was then told by the same person to wash my clothes again and video it. I said "I am a woman and I cannot lift the washing machine as it is heavy and you are now asking me to have the same leak occur and for me to clean up the mess yet again?" His response was like "yeah." What kind of people are they employing and how can they even think of treating their customers like this and getting away with it? I have already taken numerous time of out of work and constantly have to watch the machine when I wash.I didn't buy this washing machine so I can only place it on a certain level. It is under one years old and only until this year March, the problem occurred. There was no other history and when I made these complaints, it was indirectly stated back to me that nothing is wrong and I felt they thought I did know what I was talking about (deeming as I am woman). But, as my mum and my friend had witnessed, the water was coming from the machine. I will not be breaking my back lifting and cleaning again.I also asked a few times if I can get a cash settlement back and to speak to a team leader (none of which was done or considered at the time of the calls). The reason being is so I can buy a more reliable machine and can wash my clothes on high. I have uploaded photos and receipt of when I purchased the washing machine. I would like to be able to either get a reimbursement for the machine or a better quality machine, as I am wasting heaps of money on water bills. This by far, is the worst customer service I have ever received and do not advise anyone to purchase their products.

It is brand new so it works perfect. Loving it. This machine has all the bells, and this new technology is really awesome. I love the way I can dry using steam setting, or I can just dry towels. And sweaters are so easy to do with the rack, truly great machine. I also love the way it plays a tune when it is done with the load. Cute.

I purchased a new home in the summer of 2013. I bought a new Amana washer and dryer set for my home. So to my surprise after about six months, the washing machine sounded like it was going to shoot through my roof. I unplugged the washing machine several times to rest the computer, nothing changed. Now when I press the play button on the washer, it only fills up to wash a load and that's it - no agitation or nothing. I spent well over $800.00 of my hard-earned money on something that is suppose to last for years, not a year and a half and it takes a dump. I didn't buy a extended warranty because I bought Amana products in the past, I thought this washer and dryer set was going to be reliable. So now I have go buy a new washer and it won't be Amana and that's for sure. I'm thinking I'll take my chances with LG or Samsung.

One feature is that I can choose a fast wash or a full water wash and that I can choose a soak or not to soak. I can wash and rinse in all hot or warm or cold. Also, the was is in an open drum with no center agitator. It's less hard on clothes.

I bought a washer and dryer, that was bought second hand from a reputable Asko dealer. It was still within its warranty period. After 5 days of usage, the washer quit working. I called Asko, and for two days, they asked for sales receipts, had the installer go out and check and make sure it was all hooked up, and verify it was not a user or install problem. It took 2-3 days to re-register the product. Then when it came time to actually do the work, they said it was not under warranty, because the original purchaser had not registered it within 90 days of purchase. I talked with a supervisor as well, and all they did was say it was policy, policy, policy, like they were robots. If this was the problem, why did they waste 2-3 days of our time, and have people go out and check things out? Would I ever buy Asko again? Absolutely not. They treat their customers like dirt, and talked down to me, because the original purchaser did not register on time, and I should have checked this out before purchase. For as expensive as their product is, you think you would get better customer service. For them, it was all about being registered, the numbers, nothing about the human on the other end. The story does have a happy ending though. The appliance dealer took back the Asko appliances, apologized, and brought out a new pair of Electrolux, and did not charge for the delivery. Hamilton's Appliance in Gladstone Oregon rocks! They have awesome service. Asko customer service needs to have more humanity, and not waste people's time, and then in the end, deny them service. It’s not a good way of keeping your customers.

Great price-for-product ratio. Very simple to operate dryer. Simple, fast, SAFE, delivery and set up. Installation was no more than a few minutes and they wore masks. Two guys carried it in then only 1 of them stayed to install; he was out of here in 10 minutes. Both were polite/friendly and great advice was given for remaining space availability of future washer installation. They called me :30 mins out from delivery and were on time. No fuss, no worries, great service! Thank you

This washer and dryer combo is the ABSOLUTE WORST PURCHASE I HAVE EVER MADE IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. For over $1200, you get a brand new machine that considers a full load of laundry to be one sock and one tee shirt. And then it takes 6 hours to dry your one sock and one tee shirt. And then after taking 6 hours to dry, it keeps the door locked for 45 minutes to let the one sock and one tee shirt cool down before it's safe to open. Our machine has broken down twice with the error code FC, locking a load of laundry in there with water in it. The first time it broke down, GE ordered the parts and the parts were on backorder for over 3 months because apparently EVERYONE else with this machine is having the same problem. I put a big enough stink up, and after 6 weeks, was able to get the machine replaced with a new one (although I lost my entire load of laundry with the broken one because they couldn't unlock it.)One month after getting the new machine, it breaks down with the same error code, FC. GE has sent out their guy on two separate occasions to fix it, and they can't fix it, telling us themselves to get another brand and that this one sucks. They represent GE and they are telling me this. They won't replace this machine. They won't stick by their brand. They order their parts from China. Their own technicians cannot understand how to fix this model. They won't give us a refund and don't offer us any means as far as being out of a washer a dryer for the last 6 weeks. We've owned this stupid model for 6 months and it has been BROKEN on and off FOR 3 MONTHS, half the time. The worst purchase I have ever made. You would be better off throwing your money in the trash.

I purchased a new apartment sized washer dryer combo approximately 2 and a half years ago. It was always noisy when it was on the spin cycle but then the noise became unbearable so I called an authorized repair service. I was told the shaft was broken and it would cost $700 or more to repair and there was no guarantee it wouldn’t happen again, that cost me $100. I called and complained to Electrolux and they said all they would do was cover 20% of the cost of new parts which to me is next to nothing. So the lesson is if you buy from Electrolux get the extended warranty and good to you.
