I have had the worst experience with my FIRST and LAST Samsung purchase. My fridge like many others has the issue of the drain tube freezing causing water to drain into your vegetable drawers and under the drawers. It took me a few months to determine this was actually the fridge causing this and not my kids with water bottles. The first agent I spoke to said well why did you wait so long to call, it’s not like this started yesterday. After explaining that I initially thought my kids were placing open water bottles and they were spilling, I was told that I was not covered under warranty as my unit was made in 2014 even though I didnt purchase it till 2015. The agent asked me for proof of purchase and even after I explained it was purchased from a lease to own I was assured that if I had not had the unit for 2 years I would be covered. I sent in my proof of purchase then was told it was not valid and they needed my lease agreement. I again was assured that once that was sent in that Executive Relations has given the go ahead to cover this issue at no cost. I sent in the lease agreement as requested to then be told that I was OOO since the unit was manufactured in 2014 even after I was told they would cover it. I have spoken to several advisors and not one has been able to locate the previous notes on what has been told to me. This has now been an ongoing back and forth for the last 3 weeks. This is a well-known issue on this model and it’s beyond disappointing that a company like Samsung does not rectify the issue when a customer calls in concerning this WELL KNOWN ISSUE. After 3 weeks of back and forth calling I now have to wait another 24-48 hours for the service company to call me and then I still dont know if I will be covered for this issue. I will not ever purchase a Samsung product just in the fact that they are not willing to make things right with a first time customer with a known issue. Customer service goes a long long way and unfortunately Samsung has proven Im replaceable and dont need me as a customer.

I bought my Samsung refrigerator in Aug 2013. The soda stream compartment failed in the first 6 months and was replaced under warranty. A year later, the fan in the back of the fridge made loud noises. It was covered with ice so the repairman replaced the entire panel. A year after that, it froze again and the repairman pulled it out and thawed it with a hairdryer. This continued every year. Now that I am in year 5, the main display is now inoperable and beeps continuously. The freezer is 48 degrees and the fridge is at 43. It is not cooling at all. Repairman out today said the main panel needs to be replaced. He got it running, but now the compressor sounds like a helicopter. I would never expect this amount of aggravation from a quality brand. DO NOT BUY A SAMSUNG REFRIGERATOR!!! We have decided to buy another brand after 5 years. You would think it would have lasted at least 15.Updated on 08/16/2018: I called Samsung on Aug 3 and was told since my fridge was just under 5 years old, the warranty on the electronics (power board) and compressor would be covered. I submitted all the requested information on their website on Aug 6. After almost 2 weeks (freezer at 62 degrees), a Samsung repair tech came out. He said its not covered under warranty. This is ridiculous to spend $3k on a refrigerator only to have it completely die in under 5 years. I will NEVER buy another Samsung. Im so disappointed.

I guess I will see how serious Samsung is about customer service tomorrow. My about 2 year old dishwasher has some plastic supports for the upper rack that are breaking down. In looking over customer complaints about the same model I guess it’s a real common problem. Some of the customers are saying that the brackets need to be replaced 2 OR 3 TIMES A YEAR, REALLY. How could this be, cant SAMSUNG come up with a QUALITY part that will last? HOPING I HEAR FROM SAMSUNG TOMORROW. I DONT understand why this model number cannot be flagged and the part just shipped without another 15 to 20 min on the phone. Sure hope they dont try to charge me for their poor choice in material and design. And I hope the part they do have to replace it with is not the same as the one that is breaking down. VERY UNHAPPY.

Samsung OTR microwave Model SMH9207st - Wow, where to begin! I believe I bought this microwave in August of 2013. I will explain later why I dont know the exact date. In December of last year I got the dreaded SE code. I called Samsung (after reading all the horrible reviews about my microwave) and told them I was getting the dreaded code. They said since my microwave was over a year old, the warranty had expired and there was nothing they could do. I asked to speak to superiors and went through four of them and they all told me there was nothing they could do. Sooo I threw away the receipt, the owners manual and the mounting screws. He took down the microwave and I told him to take the stupid thing to the dump. Luckily he hadnt done it yet because a couple days later I received an email from Samsung saying that they were going to pay for a one time parts and labor fix.A company called me and set up date and time to come out. The tech came out and noticed that my microwave had scratches in the bottom and said it was a fire hazard and he didnt know if they would fix or not. I have heard online about the glass plate wobbling so maybe that is how it got scratched. They called back and said they ordered a new door and I would have to pay for the coating paint to cover the scratches and also the mounting screws. Tech came out and the door had the wrong connections and wouldnt work. Had to reorder. Came out today, replaced the door in a couple minutes and told me he was through...everything was working...clock, light, etc. As he walked out the door I opened the door and closed it and it DIED! I called him back in and he made a phone call and said he would have to reorder another door! Going on almost three months so far and still no working microwave. Luckily a friend had an OLD $50 microwave that she let me use and it has worked wonderfully! I need to know how to join class action lawsuit. I just want a different microwave! FRUSTRATED!

We have also been given the run around from Samsung about what seems to be a faulty product - their waterfall dishwasher. What a horrible company, I cannot believe they can stay in business. Our dishwasher is just two years old and quit working. After talking to several customer service agents on the phone, through email, and online, it is still not fixed. We had a local repairman come to look at it, he said it costs more to fix it than what it is worth at this point. There are only two certified Samsung repair businesses in Indiana. The one in Fort Wayne told us they would not come and look at it due to the constant issues with Samsung. We have another one finally coming Monday - we hope (after 7 days of dealing with them to the point my husband was screaming at the customer service rep that was in India because they were asking completely irrelevant questions). If you are looking for new appliances, please do not purchase this brand. We had issues with our refrigerator also. They are poorly made, and Samsung has to have the worst customer service of any company on earth.

Two years into our ownership of this microwave (SMH9187WXAA), we are working on the third control panel. It is a known issue, common to this model microwave. Tens of thousands of these control panels all over the country (I dare say world) are being replaced every year. The tech who replaced the first panel was on his eighth that day; yesterdays tech who replaced the second panel was on his third. Samsung refuses to either replace my microwave or extend my warranty. How does one deal with an issue such as this? The microwave has a known and very widespread defect. That means it does not serve the purpose for which it was designed, and I purchased it. If I did that in my business, the Feds would be on my case. Who is pursuing Samsung in this case? Not Consumer Reports, who rated this microwave a Best Buy. I will be buying no more Samsung or General Electric appliances (Samsung makes many of GEs appliances, esp. their refrigerators).

He said it would cost $1200.00 to fix it. So after four years we had to purchase another refrigerator. OMG how disappointed. We will never buy Samsung anything again.

I purchased a Samsung electric convection range. The 2 front burners do not regulate the heat properly thereby burning/over cooking my food! Very dissatisfied with the performance as I cook daily! Low is High! If you want to simmer your soup, forget it! How can a manufacturer expect you to deal with inconsistent heat elements? Must be a systemic problem. After reading other reviews needs to be recalled! How do we get a recall done?

Samsung NE59K3310 Electric Range - Just bought it brand new from Lowes and the oven never gets up to the set temperature. When the beeps ring out that it is at set temp we only get 200 degrees and wait for over 15 minutes to get to 335 degrees. We bought an oven temperature gauge to test it. I followed the factory adjustment procedure and increased it by 15 degrees. Now the oven takes 30min to get to 350 degrees but drops to under 300 degrees within five minutes and doesnt come back up. Before I called to get it fixed I googled Samsung ovens and find so many defective units. Its mind boggling. I have decided to return it to Lowes and buy a GE, Whirlpool, Maytag or ANYTHING else. The other problem is the amount of pressure it takes to activate the controls. Being male with no fingernails makes it easier, but my darling has to use her knuckle to press to get enough pressure to activate the controls.

Samsung Fridge RF28HFEDBSR. Yes another bad review. We bought the fridge 6/9/2014 when it was new and not more than a month old. The ice maker goes out. They replace the ice maker and 2 months later it freezes on us. This time they sent out a repairman with a hair dryer, yes, a HAIR DRYER and defrosted the problem. Fixed for 2 days. I have had the dance of the repair and replace for 3 years now. We keep buying the warranty and they keep fixing and replacing. You would think they would have a fix for this by now. Why havent they offered to replace the fridge? I no longer own any Samsung products.

New Microwave Caught Fire - Purchased Samsung Microwave Model Number ME18H7
New Microwave Caught Fire - Purchased Samsung Microwave Model Number ME18H704SFG on 07-03-2016 from HHgregg. They delivered the microwave on Saturday 07-09-2016. Used the microwave Saturday and Sunday. Monday morning 07-11-2016 my wife screamed FIRE so I ran to the kitchen where the microwave door was open and a flame about 4-5 inches long was jetting out from the side of the interior of the microwave. When I say jetting it was like a torch so I got the Fire Extinguisher and put it out then unplugged it. The inside wall was still hot to the touch for some time so I removed it from above the Gas Range and Sat it outside for the day. Now there is a big hole in the side wall of the microwave.I called HHgregg and they told me to call Samsung. I called 800 726-7864, spoke to a lady there who gave me a transaction number and said a Product Specialist would call me back within 4 hours. Said I needed to call back with the serial number or I would be charged a service call fee. That return call did not happen within 4 hours so I called again and spoke to another lady who gave me a claim ticket and a service ticket and said the claim folks would call me within 24 hours and the service folks would call back the same day. I did receive a text from service saying The repair facility has accepted your repair. ASC Phone 201-672-9502 ASC will contact you within 2 business days. Then received a call from service around 5:34 who left a message which I returned the call. The lady also needed the serial number which I provided the next day and they have scheduled a service person to come out... today is the 12 the service person will come on the 19 between 10-2. I told her I did not want them to attempt to repair this unit and give it back to me. She said the service person would not take the unit but would take photos and send to Samsung where they would determine if it could be repaired. I told her I would not let that unit back into my home. She said if you refuse the service then you will be left with a broken microwave. This is where I have left this issue. We will see what happens when the service person comes out.

3 year old refrigerator - junked - $1000 to repair leak. We purchased the Samsung French Door Refrigerator in January 2015 and the first refrigerator delivered had to be replaced because the freezer wasnt cooling after it was delivered. A second refrigerator was delivered and installed. Paid $2100. Now, three years old, there was water pooling under the pantry drawer regularly. Called Samsung for recommendations and replaced the water filter (over $50) and reset the ice -maker with no favorable results. We removed the ice-maker and checked it. Requested repair estimates, which totaled over $900 to replace the parts for the leak. After reading so many negative reviews and issues with repairs on this leak (many were unsuccessful and the leaks continued) we decided to cut our losses and replace this piece of junk. I would never buy a Samsung refrigerator again and would highly recommend anyone considering it. Research reviews from other owners.

We purchased the Samsung Dishwasher to match our other Samsung appliances, both of which we have never had an issue with. The washer has broken once on month for the year we have had it. We have had innumerable service calls. They have replaced the main board twice. Everything from the pump to the latch have been replaced. Multiple error codes, the machine never works. We are always hand washing dishes, either because we are waiting in service, or if the machine is working you have to wash them before you put them in the dishwasher, per our service man, our dishes were too dirty. Or you have to wash them when they come out of the dishwasher because they are dirtier than they were when you put them in. The dishwasher recirculates the nasty water, evenly distributes it around to all your dishes and then bakes the dirt on in the heated dry cycle. Our friends have a 1990 broke down dishwasher. The door wont shut on. It sound like street sweeper, but it gets the dishes cleaner than our Samsung. What a shame! Our factory warranty is a service warranty, they will just keep fixing it till the service tech deems in unrepairable. You would think someone would have the sense to replace the machine and cut costs. Sounds like even if they did I would still have issues.

The first Samsung was bought in Nov 14, 2014. The motherboard went out April 19, 2015. A repairman was sent out 5 days later by Lowes and he says Its the motherboard and it would have to be ordered. 2 weeks later we are still without a refrigerator. Numerous calls back and forth between Samsung and Lowes customer support where I was told by ** at Samsung that she could send a repairman out but this would be at my expense. She also tells me my one year manufacturers warranty was non existent because the date that the refrigerator was made is the date the warranty starts. So my 5 month old fridge was out of warranty. Again 2 weeks without a refrigerator and numerous calls later Lowes comes through for me and exchanges my dead Samsung for another Samsung. This one had a much shorter life expectancy and expired 51 days after delivery. Lowes again came through for me with another exchange... a Whirlpool. I have sent a letter to Samsung and described in great detail the problems that I encountered with the first refrigerator and have yet to hear from them. Had I known the 2nd one was also going to lay down so quick, I would have saved myself a stamp.

I bought a Samsung Refrigerator with cold water dispenser, ice maker & deli tray drawer (Model # RF 267ABRS) in June 2009. It is 7 years old and, to its credit, it keeps food cold enough (set at 36 degrees) and has never needed a repair - but I wouldnt buy another one.My chief complaint is the darn replacement filters because: (1) they a pain to install (I am not strong enough to apply the necessary torque that is needed to remove & install the filters so my husband has to do that part) and you have to remove one of the shelves which means taking all of the food off and putting it all back, (2) it takes 2 people to change a filter because the new filters must have water run through them for 5 long minutes, so one person stands there holding a hose and funnel up to the water dispenser while the other person holds the other end of the hose over the sink for the water to drain, and (3) the filters are sealed units so you cant clean them yourself and they have to be replaced twice per year at about $50 a pop (although I just found that Amazon has them for about $37). So far we have spent $670 on replacement filters - on top of the $2500 we paid for the fridge. This is nuts. Also, the white plastic trim on the shelves is beginning to get marked up and there doesnt seem to be any way to remove the marks. The stainless steel exterior, the only kind they had in stock when my old fridge died, holds fingerprints and requires continual cleaning. And the ice maker does leak although we found if we remove the ice holding bucket and push the ice toward the rear (away from the door dispenser) before putting it back in, it stops the leaking - until the next time you use ice dispenser. Poor design. In all, this refrigerator requires too much maintenance, too much hassle and considerable ongoing expenses. Ill buy something else next time.

We purchased this dishwasher (DMT800 series) from Lowes and thought we were getting a good product. It did not take long to see we were wrong. This appliance has been nothing but trouble since it was installed (by professional, I might add, to keep warranty in effect). Besides not cleaning well, the heating element seems to never fully turn off - no explanation for that. I will say it is quiet when running, but that is about the only good thing I can say. Now, after approximately 17 months of use (one load daily on the most part), it now will come on and not proceed to go through the cycle to wash. Customer service people ask all kinds of questions that are better answered by service personnel and the extended warranty picks a company to provide service who will contact you in two to four business days! What kind of service is that? Pathetic product and undependable repair service - I will never buy another Samsung appliance again.

Two months later the problem returned. We began a process of turning off power, emptying the drawers, placing hot water in pan within and melting down the build up. We do this 6 to 8 times a year since purchasing it. So here it is -- 2017.00 Samsung French door Refrigerator, 80.00 Delivery, 15.00 new water line (required), 370.00 Extended warranty, 148.00 Sales tax -- Approx. 2622.00 Total spent 1 1/2 year ago. They are willing to buy it back for 756.00. Should I be happy??? I can assure you I am not. If they admit there is a problem and their warranty ran out last August, why would they be willing to buy it back??? And I am suppose to accept this GREAT LOSS? Not without a fight. I have made many calls to them and emails to get paperwork to them, faxes to them on the same paperwork. And was asked again today to email the original contract again, 4 emails-efaxes they didnt get, 2 phone faxes that didnt show the total price. But this final email today showed it all to the young man I sent to while I kept him on the line. So tell me should I just let it go? And top of it all, their policy is before that refund can come, you have to cut the cord from the fridge, wrap it with labels from inside fridge with S/N and model around the cord and take a picture and wait on your refund. Now common sense tells me that if I do that I will lose all my stuff in the fridge and freezer and wait till their refund arrives and then purchase a new fridge plus fork out about 850.00 to replace it with what I bought 17 months after I bought it originally. I wish I could make some sort of sense out that policy??? Would love some feedback on this and would love for anyone with this sort of issue to also SHARE this so others may avoid what we are going through. Thank you Samsung USA.

Water Level Release Arm - When using the water dispenser it has many scratches. Only had this fridge 4 months. Manual states to press and thats what we have done with a normal glass. When I call Samsung they say its approved but then nothing happens and the electronic repair shop says they keep seeing rejected. This is absolutely been a nightmare and I keep finding myself at square one. It is a plastic part of poor quality and does not withstand normal use. The scratches appear and make the frig look old and worn. Im getting no place with Samsung.

Purchased a brand new Samsung counter depth fridge. Ice maker continued to freeze up and eventually was unable to make ice. After two repair visits ($180) from the local company I purchased it from (someone I had dealt with for years and was an authorized dealer) I decided to call Samsung. After a few hours of problem determination (including defrosting the unit again and chipping away the ice) the issue was considered corrected. Of course a month later same issue - contacted service again and they scheduled a service call. The service tech was there 30 seconds and knew exactly what the problem was. There is a significant gap between the inside wall and ice maker allowing air into the unit. Very obviously a manufacturer defect and one they had seen many times before.I contacted Samsung service again - explaining the issue and requesting to be reimbursed for my third service call (Im now up to $270 on a 2 1/2 year old unit that I paid $3500 for) and was not very politely told the unit was out of service, it was not a known defect, and they would not reimburse my service call. Sad but true, worst part is they would not own up to the defect, although the tech told me they are required to report their repair fixes which they have done many on these units. They even carry a special tube of caulking with them just for these units. Good luck buying one - last Samsung product I will ever purchase!

I have had the tubing changes in Oct and 20 days later still same problem. The fridge gets warm and I have to take everything out to defrost it. Ice maker is always froze up, stove doesnt heat up oven, washer and dryer has a recall. Ive spent 7000. on these appliances and they are all bad appliances. My stove was just 2 yr old washer and dryer 2 and my fridge 4. They say its not under warranty but it cant be fix. It has defects.

I purchased a new Samsung refrig 267 that has had a few service issues. The ice maker is very noisy and does not work smoothly, but the largest issue is the cooling system that leaks water and freezes under the cool pantry drawer. I had an authorized service agent come to fix the problem, but after an hour and a service charge, he said it was not repairable. Samsung will not stand behind the product and would not help in any way. Due the fact that they have thousands of unhappy product owners, I would hope that they would take responsibility and own up, even if it takes replacing the product at no charge. I understand the later models have new technology that eliminates the problem that thousands of current owners are stuck with.

Today I contacted Samsung support via live chat, describing the common SE error, to inquire about service for my SMH9207 microwave purchased in Dec. 2010. Many postings, including several on consumeraffairs.com indicate Samsung is aware of this common issue with their microwaves and in some cases has repaired out of warranty microwaves. The representative I chatted with, George **, indicated Certain models had a known issue which we have addressed. These are the only ones that are being covered outside of the warranty term. I was give the web form to fill out a service request. Its obvious Samsung makes good phones, not microwaves, and they dont always stand behind a product. I was very disappointed as I had purchased many Samsung products over the years (phones, TVs, etc.) finding them reliable but, I never had to put the company to the test until $335 microwave stopped working. At this point, I will never buy a Samsung product again because I know if their is a fluke, or defect in their usually decent products, the company will not stand behind the product, and will cite the warranty which is in line with industry and isnt good (1 yr.). I am so upset, Im spending for a microwave of another brand rather than buying the Samsung control board and servicing. Do not buy a Samsung appliance if you want reliability and company that stands behind the product.

First, when using the center burner/griddle (that was provided with the stove) I am not able to place pans on the other burners. Secondly the Air Fryer is a great feature, perfect for making Buffalo wings without oil, however since the oven is so large it takes longer than a stand alone air fryer. I do love the size of the oven. I can bake a huge Turkey with plenty of room to slide in some large baking potatoes. This stove is a replacement for an electric stove. So happy with our choice. I can regulate cooking temperature on each burner with ease. No burning or over cooking with gas. Baked goods turn out fantastic. Love the ability to use either Bake or Convection Bake.

My advice - DONT buy Samsung products. The condo block my friend lives in has Samsung dishwashers installed. Three of them that I know of have quit. It is impossible to get good service with any kind of results. The technician at the other end keeps you on the phone for hours and wont consent to new parts or agree that there is a problem covered under warranty. It took one gal seven months to get any results. Two are still working on it. They are not cooperative at all. We had a Samsung TV. What a disaster. The picture was always blurry and with movement, it was followed by a delayed shadow. Weve switched to LG products and love them.

But while I was snacking, And the handles were cracking,I was no more the wise. The warranty just out – of –date Handles and doors misalign. The quintessence? Planned obsolescence.Deterioration by design. And so I called the Samsung folks With nary a reply. The store was gruff Said it’s my toughYou’re warranty’s gone by. Repairs cost three hundred bucks. Thinking of a Samsung fridge? Stop, turn, and run away as fast as you can. Compressor on our 6 month old unit began failing nearly two months ago. Terribly loud noises coming from compressor. Over 2 dozen calls to customer service resulted in a list of stupid hoops to jump through. Level the appliance, reset temp, buy and replace water filter... Blah, blah, blah. After 4 weeks, they finally sent technician to look at it. I was told noise was coming from inside compressor (duh) and that there was nothing he could do with it. 3 more weeks passed with no followup from Samsung. So three days ago, fridge totally shot craps. $300 worth of food ruined. Now Im pissed. So now they opened up a 4th case number, and are going to send a repair technician. Problem is, the repair company listed on service confirmation is same company that visited us first time. The same company that is not equipped to work on internal elements of the unit. Meanwhile, were living out of coolers. These people are by far THE WORST I have EVER dealt with in my life. No class, crappy products. Clueless. I no longer want it fixed. I want the piece of crap out of my house. I will never again buy any Samsung branded product. Where can I sign on to a class action suit?

However, expect within six months after that first year, your icemaker will freeze and require constant thawing by a blowdryer. You can pay $250-$500 for a service fee for the technician to inform you that there is NO repair and NO replacement. We bought this nice new French door refrigerator in 2009 from Lowes. Fast forward to 2011, we were moving and out of town. We came home to a refrigerator that had quit cooling. It was running but not cooling and there were loads of flies. Aside from being very ticked off, we cleaned it out, lost several hundreds of dollars in food. We have contacted Lowes several times and they cannot find the sale which doesnt matter; it has a sticker on it showing the mfg date. We live in a very rural area. Twice now, Lowes has been contacted about finding a service person and they would get back to us and never do. We were told by an appliance company here locally that this is the normal life of Samsung refrigerators, and Im finding this to be true. Anybody looking at more class action suits against them? There have been at least one due to them knowingly selling appliances with bad compressors from what I have read.

The technician removed the old ice maker and ordered a new one. When the new one came in, the technician shoved, pushed, and tried to force the replacement in place and after 30 minutes, decided it was not the right one so he was to order yet another one. The compressor died the next day and the technician stated that it was an issue that we had to deal with Lowe’s for. Of course, we really had to deal with Samsung. We jumped though all the hurdles and did not get full replacement value so we ordered an LG instead.

Samsung repairman told me it would cost $280 on top of the $109.00 I paid for him to come out. It cost me $455.64 to have this microwave installed last year. Now this. I will NEVER EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM SAMSUNG.I am so angry as to how a company can be allowed to sell such cheaply made appliances and cheat consumers out of their hard earned money. This just seems unfair. Samsung has to be aware of this problem and yet they continue to sell the units with the same problem. Of course, they are of no help when you call. This magnetron is clearly a problem based on the reviews I have now read. Wish I had read them before purchasing my unit. I would not have bought the WORTHLESS microwave. I had an old GE microwave that I used for 10 years before it gave up and I replaced it. Never had any problems with that microwave. Now you purchase what appears to be a good microwave and this appliance is a TOTALLY WORTHLESS PIECE OF JUNK.

Our 2 year old Samsung refrigerator went out a week ago. After spending several hours on chat with Samsung and 1-1/2 hours on hold I was given a service company in our Des Moines market of 500K people (they have only one). I called Lowes where I bought the unit and they were able to have someone out in two days. The evaporator had gone bad so it is under the 5 year warranty but we are now waiting 10 more days to get someone out to install it. Then in Christmas day her refrigerator freezer quit working. We called the extended warranty company. They had a man come out January 6th (12 days after the unit went out) to assess. He ordered the needed part that day. The part didnt come in until January 15th. Needless to say, it still hasnt been repaired... the repairman is scheduled to come on January 20th for repair. I am tired and fed up! I bought a side by side refrigerator and have no success getting resolution for the ice buildup which is constantly reoccurring in the back of my unit. They have sent the technicians countless times without success. I received a call from Samsung last week to ask me how things were. I told them that it was still doing the same thing after the many visits. Each time a technician showed up, they stated that they were not going to be able to fix the issue but had to initiate the specific instructions for repair before Samsung would provide a voucher or some other method of enabling me to go and get a replacement. When I talk to them the other night they created another case number with instructions. The tech came today, called Samsung and let them know that the refrigerator was not repairable as provided in the instructions. The rep on the phone said, It doesnt work like that. Well you know what else doesnt work like that? Willingly offering a product to the consumer which you know has repetitive like kind issues and failing to prevent a product with well-known and documented faulty design or function to be sold with intent of telling your customer; Im not going to make good on my promise, I really dont care that youre having issues, Im not interested in knowing whether you are happy or not and It doesnt work like that.I have been cooperative and have done everything I have been asked to do by your representatives and this has gone on for 2-1/2 months straight now. It seems clear that you have no intent on standing by your product. I believe your warranty policy is deceptive to say the least. I dont think Im asking too much. I got a problem, and I just want it fixed without further delay. It looks like there are plenty of others who share the same sentiment. I dont want to have to take legal action, please dont make me.

We bought a Samsung RS275 side by side refrigerator in March 2010. From the start, the ice maker was completely inadequate and could not keep up with a family of four. In July 2011 water started accumulating in the bottom of the refrigerator and freezing the lower vegetable bin. We found that the defroster drain hole was freezing closed with ice, thereby not allowing the defroster to drain properly, hence it ended up on the floor of the refrigerator. I managed to extend a piece of copper wire into the hole (it was heated from the defroster heating coil) and that solved the problem for a couple of years. Keeping the hole open. The problem reappeared in the Spring of 2014 and weve been trying to fix it ever since. Also, the water dispenser line continues to freeze. I will never buy another Samsung refrigerator.

Just over a week ago, the freezer stopped cooling again. I called Samsung and they told me that I had to get in touch with someone to repair and I would be compensated, but they had to be certified to work on Samsung. We purchased a Samsung RF263 in 2011 side by side doors with bottom freezer. Within a few months various parts of the interior began to crack, annoying for such an expensive refrigerator but not fatal. The real problems began when the ice maker began to malfunction. It got so bad that we had it repaired outside of the main warranty this past May and it worked fine for about 8 or 9 weeks and started to malfunction again. After speaking with Samsung today the contracted repair company said that I would have to pay for a new repair to the unit because it was 93 days since the original (outside the 90 day window). Samsung, when I called back were no help at all and of course hid behind their policies. I explained to them and to the repair company that I didnt feel it was fair to have to pay for a repair twice, when the original repair was obviously inadequate. I would recommend never buying a Samsung refrigerator as they are not well made for the price and their customer service is designed to give as little to the consumer as possible. Also, I would advise purchasing an extended warranty on a refrigerator that you pay over $1500 for as one repair costs more than the warranty itself.

I purchased a Samsung Dishwasher (Model #DW80H9930US) from Tasco, on the advice of Tascos salesman. It was installed in November 2014. I had also purchased a 5 year warranty. By June 2015 my dishwasher was no longer working. I went into Tasco who told me I had to contact my warranty provider, who in turn advised that Samsung held the initial warranty for the first year. I contacted Samsung at the beginning of July and was told a technician would call. I never received a call. Two weeks later I contacted them again and as everyone has previously mentioned, the wait times are approximately 30 minutes to speak with someone at the first level customer service. A woman finally booked a date to have a technician come out. I waited all day and got a call from someone to then set up another date that was approximately 3 weeks later. The technician came to my home and I advised him that the soap dispenser was not opening. He attached his computer to my dishwasher and told me the waterfall technology was not working and my motor was defective, which in turn was why the soap was not opening. He advised they would be ordering a new motor and I would get a call within 2 weeks to set up another appt. He also told me off the record this dishwasher consistently breaks down and is not a good buy. I had to remove my baseboard for that visit noting the dishwasher is built in. He never left the name of his company or anything with me. 3 weeks later I still had not heard from anyone. I contacted Samsung again to speak with someone and they told me they would be in touch. I called again 3 days later and after 30 min and going through the story each time -- got disconnected. In August I finally called and was put through to the Executive department because I was told I could not speak to management. I spoke with a Brian representative ** who was extremely rude and just flat out told me that they would not even consider replacing the unit, even noting the issues wrong with it so early on and the reviews I had read. He gave me an email address sdr.seca@samsung.com to send through a complaint as there never seems to be a manager consumers can speak with. I sent an email with my issues on August 12 and then a follow up on August 18th, 2015, and have never received a response from Samsung. I called 2 more times and was still unable to get a technician or call back. In October I went back to Tasco for help and was told I should have contacted them for service. I contacted Tasco who then in turn left me hanging until the end of November. On Thursday, November 26, I received a call from a Peter ** at Samsung and was told the delay of 6 months was because I did not call the technician back to let him know the baseboard had been removed. That the dishwasher was not properly diagnosed and they dont even know what is wrong with it. He was reading very different information than anyone else I had spoken to and basically told me I was lying that it was the motor. He was so rude, condescending, and when I asked for his managers phone number, he gave me a wrong number. At this point I have a dishwasher that has not worked for 5 months and cannot get Samsung to help me at all. At this time, I would like the dishwasher replaced and it is now out of warranty. At this time I do plan to take Samsung and Tasco to small claims court if I have to, noting I have a dishwasher that does not work and now its out of the manufacturers warranty. I will never purchase or recommend a Samsung appliance to anyone and will deter anyone from them. I would not want anyone to have to endure the stress and frustration I have had to deal with and still have not had the problem rectified. So disappointing.

I have owned my refrigerator for less than a month. When it was delivered I noticed a small dent in it which the store compensated me $70 for. A week or so later I saw a small chip on the same door. This is a black stainless steel refrigerator that retails for about $1800 (RF261BDAESG). I went to the store and they told me to contact Samsung. I spoke with Samsung and they said they would send a technician out and gave me the company name. I was contacted by that company and told that if they came out and decided it was physical damage I would have to pay for the service call, $200. Also said that if I wanted it fixed it would cost up to $400. I have no intention of paying for any repair for an appliance thats less than a month old.First whats physical damage? If they mean that it was done by me how can that be determined? Whos to say it wasnt caused at the same time as the dent was made? Why would they sell a product that can seemingly be damaged so easily? I spent about 30 minutes on the phone after speaking with their service center trying to resolve this, as long as I dont pay. Im pretty sure they would say its my fault just to save Samsung money. My main concern is the lack of customer service from Samsung because I bought an entire kitchen suite. I purchased Samsung because I had always heard positive things about them but I can guarantee that I will do my best to dissuade anyone from purchasing any Samsung product.

I bought Samsung refrigerator, just one year, and then it started making loud sound and now it stopped cooling. Warranty is expired and now the customer service said I have to pay myself for the repair and they can send a technician. I have known and read some reviews that they are a problem which never goes away. There is no thing as user manual to fix this. I am doomed. Do not buy Samsung refrigerator. They have manufacturing and design defects and they have not recalled. So think before you buy. Please do research. And learn from my experience.

We have had the Samsung Refrigerator Model RF263BEAEWW/AA for about 1 1/2 years now which we purchased from Conns... a.k.a. Cons. This will be the 3rd time that we will have to call the repair service for repair. Because our refrigerator is out of warranty, we are, so to speak, been screwed by the pooch. Conns will not step up to the plate and offer any kind of service or help... Will never go there again, nor recommend that store. (NFM here I come). Nor will Samsung say that there is any problem with this defective product though they have Class Action Lawsuits against them for similar products. Needless to say, we will never step foot into a Conns (Cons) store again, nor buy Samsung if they will not stand behind their product. If anyone has any suggestions or help, it would be appreciated.

My fridge looks great, is relatively easy to clean, has lots of space and only a few less-than-perfect attributes: you must NOT pack stuff around the air-flow at the back of the fridge; the gasket is NOT tough enough (already cracked after 3 yrs); the plastic cover for the deli-drawer cracked! Overall, I would buy the unit again despite the 3 deficiencies detailed above. It cools well, looks great, and has lots of room.

My Samsung Fridge Model #RS265TDRS started acting up after about a one year. I noticed our milk spoiled prematurely along with other items in the fridge. I remember hearing the fan in the fridge sound louder than usual just a couple of days prior to this. It appears the coils have froze up with ice causing the fan to ice up also stopping it from spinning causing a domino affect. I will have to locate the receipt and upload at a later time. I see this is a very very common problem with Samsung. This was not a cheap fridge and to be having this issue this early is ludicrous. I have the unit turned off and am allowing it to fully thaw before restarting it and seeing how long it lasts this time. Very Very angry & disappointed with Samsung.

SE display on control panel - Model SMH9207ST - 2 years and 8 months after installation, the SE display started to appear. Turning power off-on, sometimes would start it going again for only a few days. Unfortunately, this action is not working any longer. Have contacted Samsung and according to them, there are no complaints on this model (I found numerous) and since its over one year old, well have to pay for any repair. Since this is an over the range model, built in my remodeled kitchen, Im stuck with this piece of crap! To make matters worse, we are also experiencing problems with their refrigerator (purchased at the same time as the microwave) and their Smart TV, purchased in July 2012. DEFINITELY NO MORE SAMSUNG PRODUCTS IN MY HOME!

We purchased a Samsung side-by-side refrigerator from Home Depot in Feb. 20
We purchased a Samsung side-by-side refrigerator from Home Depot in Feb. 2014. First problem - within weeks of purchase was that the vegetable drawer had no control for air/temp, fresh veggies died quickly, even carrots and root veggies. We bought $100 of special containers to be able to keep food as fresh as the old fridge. Then within the first two months, we began hearing the often-reported fan noise from ice buildup. This got worse over time and I finally called for service, also complaining about the veggie drawer. Prior to that scheduled service being performed, the next issue was the ice maker failing to shut off, even with the door open and jiggling the paddle switch. Another call to Samsung to add the new problem to the fan noise.Service arrived a week later, with a wrong ticket number, no warranty information, and no parts even for the known issue. The tech corrected the paperwork, inspected and ordered parts. Samsungs Andy then called me after the service to see if repairs were completed, and I told them of the problems with the unit, as well as Samsung not providing proper information for the tech so the service was a failure. I was told we could qualify for a buyback, which I said would be taken into consideration, and was there a time limit. I was told no time limit since the service issues were reported within the 1yr warranty period. When the parts arrived, I called Samsung to explain we were seriously considering the buyback, but were in process with the previous service issues, and should I allow the service to take place. I was told to allow the service and did so. The service was performed, both issues I reported separately were handled together on one ticket. The entire back panel housing the fan was iced up, which the tech confirmed is not normal. The ice maker continued to repeatedly dump ice without stopping, jam, freeze up and require removal, thawing and drying, even after the service.By this time we have opted for the buyback, and phoned Samsung to request it. This time I was told by executive customer service member John, that what Andy told me was not how the buyback worked. Buyback could only happen if the unit is deemed non-repairable with three repair attempts. I explained I already made three service calls, had two repairs, as well as complaints on the drawer issue, and other aspects of the design and quality that were proving very annoying. Another service call was scheduled. This time the tech arrived and was briefed on the history and issues, along with our desire to take the buyback. He ordered a new control panel, which arrived and was installed on yet another service call. The new control did not display properly and was defective. It was removed and the old one installed in its place. I immediately called Samsung to complain about their total failure, and was told they did not yet have the service information from the tech, it should be there in a day.I called a week later to inquire on status, and this time was told by exec c.s. rep, Sherry that not only were there not enough service calls and parts replaced to qualify for a buyback, she had no info from the service company on the service. When she said she had to check to see if we were within some 30 day time limit on the buyback, after having specifically asked two exec c.s. people about any time limitation, I was angry to say the least. There were more communications with Samsung on status of the buyback, process, requirements, schedule, and was given different stories and reasons every single time. I called on 11-10-14 to inquire the latest status of the most recent ticket regarding the buyback process, and the exec c.s. rep told me they had only one ticket on their records; I have at least seven ticket numbers for these issues, four of them being the 510-number range generated only at the executive level. When the tech arrived today, 11-12-14 I made it clear that the only resolution is deeming the unit unrepairable. Because one of our reported issued included cracks in the interior refrigerator walls, the tech was able to get a status of nonrepairable from Samsung. In doing so, the tech had to communicate with both his company and Samsung. The first Samsung rep he spoke to was extremely rude, and actually hung up on the tech. The tech called back, reached a supervisor, and with a few more calls finally got the nonrepairable status. Now I am waiting for Samsung to respond. Under California law, we have endured more than enough repair attempts to qualify for the Lemon Law requirement to buyback or replace the unit. Needless to say, for the combination of poor design, poor quality, and downright insulting customer service, there will never be another Samsung product in our home.Other problems with the unit included poor freezer door fit, hung crooked and uneven, gaps between the inner and outer shell where the door seal must fit, may allow warm air in. The tech showed me how the ice dispenser door does not seal properly and is not well insulated, also letting warm air into the freezer compartment.Another little surprise we got, partially because of the imperfect door hanging, is that we didnt get the freezer door shut all the way one night, and I found it in the early morning hours. Cleared out the ice maker so it wouldnt freeze solid, closed the door and left it alone. Checking in the morning, the display showed the set temp standard of -2F and 38F, so I thought all was well. But when I came in for some ice at 2pm and opened the door, the freezer was 58F with ice cream running on the floor. The unit did not reset without unplugging and replugging, a surprise because we had a power outage of several hours some time ago and the unit was fine.So if you are considering Samsung, I suggest not. As a coincidence, as the tech was here today, a friend called and I told him what was going on, beginning to describe the Samsung issues....before I could even get started, he chimed in with the same litany of problems I have experienced with his Samsung refrigerator. The independent service techs were all professional, and were sympathetic to our problems with Samsung. They did what they could to make it possible to allow us to get some resolution. Both techs who visited us multiple times have a very low opinion of Samsung and their products.

Purchased 3 samsung appliances in 2013 and within 1 year the refrigerator has needed to be defrosted every 2 weeks as it freezes up and the water pools under the crispers. Was 2 days past warranty so therefore I needed to find a repairman to fix and absorb the expenses. Tried calling several appliance repair companies and none were willing to work on samsung products. Still am defrosting every 2 weeks. Have ordered parts online for it and replaced but nothing seems to solve the problems. Just recently the washer that I purchased has been put on a recall and samsung has not responded to me since registering on the site. Went to the samsung site and tried the chat and again nothing, referred to the customer service line. I called this customer service number a couple of days before doing the chat thing and the representative I spoke with told me that if I registered on the site he couldnt help me. I would have to be patient. Running laundry on the delicate cycle makes the drying time 4 times as long and why should I have to put up with kitchen & laundry appliances that say they are energy efficient and carry the samsung name.

I moved into a new house on Jan 7 2015. The house came with stainless steel appliances (Brand new). I peeled the stickers from the Samsung stove myself... So I know I was the first user. Used it 4 times, smelled a funny smell but the documents said that its OK to have this smell in the first few times, so I didnt pay much attention.Then... short and I had to reset the breaker. Since then the oven wont pre-heat. Call Samsung and they sent out a nice guy that didnt know what to do. He then called Samsung and had been transferred 2 times to speak to 2 different Samsung reps. The 3rd guy asked him to check behind the stove and look for burned wires. My cool tech told him its a brand new stove. Samsung guy asked him to check... Well... bad wiring almost cost me my sons life, my life, my house and everything I have. My tech got an authorization number from Samsung and said that Samsung will call me within 24-48 hours to schedule a pickup and replacement. So... I waited.4 days later I called Samsung, gave them that number and they transferred me to a different department. The lady told me that she cannot help me without a receipt. I told her that I got the stove with the house and its not about a piece of paper. Its about Samsung selling a faulty equipment, a fire hazard in a shape of an oven.No go... Tried to leave a message on their FB page... the guy told me that he is sorry for my inconvenience (its a gas stove, that burned itself and can kill me... they know about it but still selling it... its not an inconvenience, its simply dangerous to let this company sell products!) - but... I need to get him a receipt for him to ask Samsung to take responsibility for its faulty product. Is there any federal commission that can take my oven and investigate it? Maybe cross it with houses that burned? Its like that GM recall... They KNOW about it but wont do a thing until someone will die, even then they maybe try to cover up before taking real action. My advice to you - Stay away from Samsung products! (Cell Phones, Computers, TVs.. anything). Also, Ive seen some other complaints here. Im going to buy a new stove next week. But if theres a class action going on I would like to be a part of it. If theres none, Im interested in filing one and would like to contact other people who had a similar experience. So, please contact me if you can.

Only 2 years ago I bought the French Door refrigerator. Had problems with the ice maker but I figured I would put up with using a hair dryer every few months to get the frost/ice out. Then about 2 months ago, major fan noise. Then temperature goes to 54. Called Samsung. Gee sorry its not under warranty. Well I need it fixed. You have to use one of our certified repair companies. When can they come out? I ask. They couldnt get anyone out for 5 days. I needed a refrigerator fixed sooner. Had a serviceman come out. Main control board and heater both had to be replaced. $700. Then this week, same thing is happening. Called Samsung and they said someone would get back to me to schedule a repair. They contacted me 48 hours later, and tell me a repair person will be here in over a week. I see so many bad reviews reports... Why doesnt something happen with making Samsung do something about these similar issues???

Tech said it needed major repairs and they wouldnt have the parts til Friday. Thats 8 days without a fridge. Called Samsung call center to complain and they didnt offer anything to help us. Asked to speak with a manager. The response received was you are unable to talk to a manager. Asked for an email address for a manager. Nope not an email address either. We bought the Samsung double oven glass top electric range in January 2016 for a bargain basement price of $1719, plus tax. Because they discontinued basic black we had to get the black stainless. In November, while wiping the upper oven door with a damp cloth some of the black stainless finish peeled off. I called Samsung Customer Service, if you want to call it that. They asked me to send a picture of the damage. They got back to me and called it consumer wear. I said, no its a defective finish. We went back and forth and finally, on December 5th they called me back and said its cosmetic and not covered. I said, the finish failed, and am I supposed to look at this for the next 8 years. They said I can get it fixed myself. In addition, the oven racks are so flimsy that when I had a 15 pound turkey in the oven the rack collapsed. Fortunately the other rack was right below and I was able to fix it. You have to remember to keep the pan in the center of the rack. Dealing with Samsung is worse than dealing with the VA. I will never buy another Samsung appliance. After reading the other reviews, Im really looking forward to some of the other problems I can have.

We purchased a Samsung dishwasher on 10/30/15. It began failing and showing error codes three weeks after its one year warranty expired. Samsung sent techs out three times, twice with no charge and never fixed the fundamental problem; the machine stopped cleaning dishes. Samsung made exceptions and we did not pay a cent for the service visits, but it was utterly impossible to get the company to simply replace the washer as it was just not functioning any longer. Short fused customer service at best and obviously a product line that is inferior. A class action lawsuit ought to be initiated against the company for anyone who bought a dishwasher that has failed in the past 5 years. I bought the 4-door RF4287HABP. Initially thrilled with it. After about 3 days, my wife noticed her wine (kept indoor) wasnt as cold as in our old dead LG. I tried about 4-5 different thermometers all with nearly identical readings of approx. 40 degrees in lower door. I contacted Samsung and was told as long as temp fits in their 34 - 46 degree range there is no problem? I said that means I should be able to set it between 34 and 40 degrees. No, I was told. I stated milk needs to be at a max 40 degrees and this is what the gallon door storage is alluded to in their advertising. Then I asked for a sup thinking she was new. I was told the same thing and that my 4 thermometers were most likely off (not considering the whole issue started w/ luke warm wine). They said I needed to use a Samsung thermometer to be sure of results. I asked where I could get a Samsung thermometer. She said Samsung doesnt make thermometers? Triple wow! I paid for the top of the line Samsung refrigerator mostly cause I like the style of it and I tend to pay more for products based on what type of insurance the product is well built. I spent $5,000 for my Samsung refrigerator. May it be a cultural difference I really dont care. Were in America and we have high standards with our products. Our refrigerator ice maker gave us problems almost day one. After 3 attempts to repair the ice maker I contacted Samsung and over a course of several months it was unbelievable to have to call the number that only answers the phone for 2 hours a day and if youre not first in line you will not have an answer to your ring. If you try to call back it goes to busy. Based on my persistence and anger I made sure I was first in line. Then they make me jump through hoops knowing they sent repair guys who have designated my refrigerator ice maker unrepairable. So getting the information they wanted not that I would have to actually call back. They had an email address I could send the information but would not reply to my email which forced me to have to call back to this line that is only open for a couple hours per day! All I got was, Sorry sir thats just our policy!Again through my persistence I did get the check minus the shipping minus the time it took for all 3 repairs for me to take off of work minus the continued frustration and time aggravation to contact them over and over! On top of this it even gets worse. They wanted a picture of the power cord cut. This is to assure them I wont throw it in the garage and use it there! I am not writing for failed ice maker. I am writing for the arrogance of a company to have policies set against the consumer and America needs to know it!

Third party repair personnel after inspecting said it is common occurrence and to use razor as suggested to peel of the layer by scrubbing it in a certain way. Before 12 months end I saw the crack on the cook top and a bulge on the glass top. After complaining to customer service it took 30 days with 3 guys from different company and taking pictures of the stove to tell me that it is wear and tear. I need to pay 250$ for cook top and 250$ for the labor to repair it. I cant afford to repair it or replace it as it is the brand new stove which I paid 1200$. Bad customer service. Was told by the electrical company that the engineers at Samsung will see pictures and determine if it was wear and tear. My old cooking range was from whirlpool survived 10 years. Add me to the list of very unhappy Samsung microwave customers. I had the same problem as everyone else in the same time frame. After just 2 years, the Samsung Microwave SMH9187b started beeping and flashing the SE error code. Samsung was no help, telling us to turn off the breaker. It never reset itself. Then they said they would cover the repair if it was the display but not if it was the box (brain) of the microwave. When I asked how we would know which it was, they said you wont until the repair people came out. Calling repair, they said it would be a minimum of $70 visit fee and $90 for the part. So that would be at least $160. Repair also said it is not the display, that the SE code means more than that. Im very disappointed with Samsung and am now looking for a new microwave. Anyone has any recommendations?

First Samsung doesnt deserve 1 star, and Pacific sales where I bought this isnt much better. I bought the top end Samsung appliances because I was told these were great and the service would be much better than the service reputation they have on other appliances. Well I guess better than bad is still bad. Had the micro/oven installed in Feb of 2018 and its been a nightmare ever since. More than a dozen e-mails and same # of phone calls, three times they tried to replace the door, first time repairman brought the wrong item, the second time the store called me to pick up the new door and it was the wrong door, this last time two service men came out and again the wrong door was delivered. Dont bother calling the service center. They are totally useless. My contractor cracked my Samsung cooktop and we tried working with the service department for over 5 months to get a replacement part of new unit to be covered by my contractor (not under the warranty), again it was a total joke, dont have the parts so My contractor replaced it with another brand. I would die and go to hell before I bought another Samsung appliance. Please learn from my mistake and buy any brand but Samsung.

I really feel like its going to be a lemon of a refrigerator. Apparently all the new Samsung models the ice maker is now down in the freezer compartment. Anybody know how many repairs it takes before theres just a full one recall?

I have been sitting here on hold for about 40 minutes waiting to speak to a manager to find where my refrigerator is. Samsung has delivered two - and both were damaged. They tried to delivered a third which was supposed to be here two days ago. At this point, no one at Samsung knows where that delivery is; when it will be here; or even acts like they know whats going on. This has been going on for three weeks and I still do not have a fridge. This customer service is the worst - second only to Vivint Security. I am going to get my money back and I will never buy another Samsung product again for the rest of my life.

Called Samsung technician to repair leaking refrigerator. Every time it went into defrost mode it would leak water, a little when I first purchased it, then much worse. Refrigerator is nearly two yrs old, so is out of warranty. I am a retired Engineer, so did some reading and found the problem to be a smaller than required heat sink (Samsung calls it a drain clip). This heat sink is suppose to keep the defrost drain from frosting up. Took technician 30 minutes to replace this part with the correct size. Per tech, he gets a lot of this work. Here is my problem, should a company like Samsung be charging the consumer for their design flaw? The cost was $173, part cost was $10 dollars.Called Samsung ECR (Executive Customer Rep), explained that this was not a repair or a fix, but a correction to a design flaw. I thought Samsung would want to stand behind their product, but all she would say was that it was out of warranty. The model # RF263BEAESP/AA. There must be thousands of these out there with this known design flaw. I hope this review helps someone if they are looking for a new refrigerator. Needless to say, I wont be buying any Samsung products in near future.

We have had this refrigerator for 5 years. Actually, the freezer and refrigerator work fine, but after 1st year the ice maker would build up ice crystals and then quit making ice. Have tried numerous times to fix it and nothing lasts. A few months ago water started leaking from underneath the refrigerator too. Samsung definitely needs to fix this issue!

Samsung fridge display went out. The repair tech said I would have to pay $650 to fix this fridge -- I am appalled! The fridge cost us $2500 and I see that going down the drain. Lowes where I bought the fridge was not helpful and neither was Samsung. I think these fridges should be recalled -- how many dissatisfied customers is it going to take to get this fridge removed from the market? As customers we should be compensated.

We purchased our Samsung mini split air conditioner not even 3 years ago. The first summer it was in they had to replace the communication wire so the inside unit would work. The second summer it had a leaky valve so they had to recharge it and we havent even started our third summer and the fan motor inside the head needed to be replaced. They ordered the new motor and installed it, now both circuit boards are fried. Samsung is not willing to stand behind the product and said it isnt their product, was made by someone else, even though their name is on it and passed the buck onto a third party. Said we need to schedule an onsite visit for the unit to be looked at. Samsung informed us this would take 2-3 weeks to be arranged. Considering all the issues we have had since day 1, this is not very acceptable customer service. I would not recommend this or any other Samsung items to people based on this interaction with them!

Within 6 months of purchase, on the first self clean, the error message C31 came up. Turns out this means it overheated. Waited a month and a half before Samsung finally got their ** together and replaced the stove. Now one year later, same problem. Waiting to hear if Lowe’s extended warranty will follow through. Hoping to get a different brand. Samsung stoves are complete garbage.

My dishwasher would not use the dishwasher packets I was using to wash the dishes. The soap dish flap would open, but the packet would not be used. I call Samsung and their support is the WORST! I got a guy that spoke poor English and probably never saw a dishwasher before. I told him the problem and he told me to clean the dispenser and turn off the circuit breaker. It was a TOTAL waste of time. He asked for the serial number and I gave it to him 3, (YES THREE TIMES), then he told me he was not paying attention when I gave him the number. Then he wanted to know the service provider of my cell phone. What has that got to do with the dishwasher, but he said he needed it. At that point, I knew that Samsung support people were brain dead and I just hung up. I already spend too MUCH time trying to explain the problem and another 4 hours with their support would not have made a difference. I do plan to get rid of my Samsung dishwasher and go back to my Whirlpool. I had a Whirlpool for over 10 years and NEVER had a problem with it. I replaced it because we decided to redo our Kitchen with Stainless appliances and we went with a few Samsung appliances. Now I will never buy Samsung appliances again. My recommendation is if you buy Samsung and need any support you are hosed! You will spend a lot of time on the phone with a moron that does not even know his products and wont know nor care what your problem is. He will read from a list of trouble shooting guides, which may be totally irrelevant to your specific problem. (i.e. your car wont start and the guy tells you to change the tire). One more thing, I asked the support guy for an order number and he told me he got an error code on his computer and could not give it to me. STAY, make that RUN, AWAY from this company!

I have had my Samsung French door Twin cooling Refrigerator for a little more than a month. When cleaning and polishing it I noticed pin size rust spots that are barely visible to the eye. However when I spoke with Samsung they said I should of noticed them when the fridge was deliver. We did look over the appliance for scratches, dents, and marks but these spots are the size of the point of a pin and can not be seen until you are up very close which I was today when I was polishing the doors. Since it is a Cosmetic problem Samsung will do nothing.Goemans Appliances where I purchase my Appliances for my new home said to try Stainless Steel Cleaner. I will do that, I sure hope it works. When I hung up the phone from Samsung I went to the internet to see what I could do. It is frightening what can happen with these tiny spots if you do not get them under control. My advice do not buy Samsung. They do not stand behind their products. Goemans Appliances do not service their products and most of all DO NOT BUY SS APPLIANCES. The companies are getting away with fraud.

My Samsung dishwasher model DMT300RFW failed six months out of warranty, but used less than 20 times (it was at a second home). Repair cost was just over 1/2 the purchase price.Failed part was the drain pump, DD31-00005A. Failure mode was that the impeller shaft O ring had expanded from the drain water, preventing the shaft from turning freely. (The housing O ring had also expanded.) The O rings were not made with an appropriate material. In summary, the failure of a 10-cent part killed the dishwasher.Next, an attempt was made to report these findings to Samsung through their 800 number. Though my message was taken, there appeared to be a stone wall in terms of getting anyone to do anything. If this happens again, and it likely will, I may buy space in the Wall Street Journal and see if they care. What did I expect, at least that someone would make sure that my findings got to the right people. I guess it would be naive to expect anything else.

I have had this refrigerator (Samsung RF217ACBP) for a little over two years. We have had to fix the ice maker twice because it keeps making ice even when the ice bin is full, then it malfunctions. We figured this out; now we just shut it off every night. A few months ago, we noticed that the veggie crisper has water in it. Now it is so bad that I cannot use the crisper. After research, I realized that it is a known issue. Samsung admitted to me that it is a known problem, but since my warranty is out, I would have to pay to have it fixed. Hows that for great service. I am chalking it up to dont ever buy a Samsung!

We replaced all our kitchen appliances two years ago with high end Samsung
We replaced all our kitchen appliances two years ago with high end Samsung stainless appliances. We researched various brands and based our decision on JD Powers, but also considered LG since both were rated highly. We also purchased with Lowes as they had high ratings. Unfortunately, we have had so many problems with the Samsung appliances, and the salesperson incorrectly sold us a 2-unit extended warranty instead of a 4-unit warranty. We have seen many more issues than what we experienced with our basic 10-year old white Whirlpool appliances that we replaced that were original to the house but otherwise functioned correctly. We purchased extended warranties and have contacted Samsung many times, and the issues do not get resolved. Often, the local repair company will argue that there is nothing they can do. Convection microwave: dead panel/completely inoperable. Dishwasher: multiple errors on control panel during cycles, does not clean, adjustable drawer holders have broken 8 times due to cracking with heat and we have to replace at our expense. Gas oven/range: will not cook foods correctly. Be sure you buy gas range with electric oven. Gas oven does not regulate correctly and always takes much longer than recipe calls for. Refrigerator: dual icemaker takes up nearly all the storage of going with larger unit; but otherwise, this has been the only Samsung appliance that has performed without failing during the first 2 years of ownership. We will avoid purchasing the so-called high end Korean appliances next time, and we will not purchase from Lowes again.
