Bought Samsung refrigerator, RF18FENBSR in July 2017. Freezer door broke on one aside, called Samsung (warrantied till Aug 2017). They sent out Williston Repair Group rep who wanted to charge me $110.00. I declined, told him to leave. Called Samsung, they verified it was still covered and redid work order. After a few days, I called Williston back and was told they would not send anyone out because I had slammed door on their rep and was rude. Besides, door handles were exterior damage. Called Samsung back, was told that they would call them and straighten this out. They called me back and said that since the handle was EXTERIOR and subject to damage, it is not covered. If I could give them NO STARS, I would. Naturally, I will NEVER buy any Samsung product again, as I feel they cannot be trusted to stand behind their products. You have to be crazy to buy ANYTHING Samsung.

The 2 stars are given because they are beautiful BUT we did a complete kitchen remodel in 2018 and nothing is holding up. We spent over $5000 on a SmartHub fridge that wont make ice properly and freezes up every month or so, $400 on a microwave that broke 5 months ago, over $5000 on a double oven that wont hold its temp properly and now we have to pay fo fix the washing machine that we spent almost $2000 on. We spent well over 15,000 to have matching smart appliances that well end up having to replace within the next few years. Nothing has connected properly to the smart hub. SAVE YOUR MONEY.

Im sorry, its not like me to even write something negative. However, my family has been poisoned because of Samsungs malfunctioning refrigerator. The digital readout is not accurate in displaying the actual temperature of the refrigerator. Bacteria starts to grow on perishables at any temperature above 40 degrees. Upon me serving food, it read 34. This was while it was under-warranty and all you did was pay for the Parts ha. Since then, this refrigerator has not worked by freezing up once a month at least for the long 6 years Ive owned it. I firmly intend on continuing to get word out regarding this as I am a very experienced enterprise digital marketer. Dont worry, Ill keep the audience within the United States. You poisoned my family, put a band-aid on a broken fridge and it never ever worked properly. Nice job Samsung. Maybe, fridges arent your thing. If you drop that product line, Samsung may even see a spike in revenue as many people and families have been poisoned in the same way and the unanimous audience of Samsung Refrigerator owners will all feel relieved.

Two years ago, we bought a Samsung refrigerator and it has been nothing but a money pit. We bought this from Lowes and it is no secret that this product is a piece of junk. Why would they keep selling them? The thermostat went out 31/2 months ago for a price of $300 and another service call a month before that for a price of $100. Well, the thermostat is out again and Samsung said that the thermostat has only a three-month warranty. The only positive thing I can say is that the set up manual tells you what to do so you can throw it away. I am going to cut my losses and buy a new one. Does Samsung made it or has anything to do with it? I have had my last Samsung product in my house.

This is by far the worst waste of $849 I have ever spent. Does not clean. Spot weld broke on inner seal which interferes with removing lower dish rack. Constant error codes have to keep unplugging to clear. Dont buy this piece of crap. I would rather flush my 849 down the toilet than buy a Samsung dishwasher. Purchased a new GE today. I am going to use the Samsung for target practice.

Water leak inside. 9 years old same old problem. I have to unplug let the ice inside melt. Unload everything. I have no idea how many times I have had to do this. Call Samsung - was told it could not be level (give me a break). Why does it not do it all the time if it is not level, Samsung should come out with a fix for this. Also they told me to call a local Samsung repair, what a joke. I do not think they know how to fix the problem. Why do I want to pay for a service call. UNHAPPY IN TENN.

Purchased a Samsung from Home Depot April 14. I call Samsung about every four months for two issues. 1- the refrigerator is growling and making monster noises and 2 - another piece of the inside broke to pieces. Another shelf, drawer etc. cracked, broke or crumbled and has to be secured with flex tape or thrown in the garbage because it is unusable. See pictures. Its completely unbelievable!Hours on the phone with Home Depot (where we bought the additional warranty) and they send us to Samsung & Samsung sends us to National Factory Service for diagnostic and at a cost to us: $85. They heard. They came. They saw. They did nothing. Just head scratches and the words: PARTS OUT OF WARRANTY. When I call Samsung these days, they try to sell me an extended warranty for $129, which doesnt cover the parts. I mean have you ever? Its such a joke! There is a class action lawsuit against Samsung ~ apparently for the icemaker + and, yes, our icemaker gives us non stop issues.

I also have purchased a Samsung fridge. NEVER again. I have had nothing but trouble with it. Even with the extended warranty it is a piece of JUNK. After service call, too many to count, it still dont cool and has to be unplugged and set for at least 48 hours on almost a regular basis. If you call this a good product I beg to differ. I had saved for a LONG time to be able to purchase this fridge and it not only was a waste of my time, but my money. I would NEVER recommend this product nor purchase another. Samsung need to step up and make things right for those of us that have had nothing but problems with this product!!! Shame... SHAME on Samsung!!!

January 3, 2015 I purchased a scratch and dent Samsung french door refrigerator with ice maker in the freezer unit. It came with a 1yr. warranty from Samsung and I purchased a 5yr. warranty from Lowes. It was delivered and installed by Lowes on January 6, 2015. It started to produce ice and it produced half a gallon bag of ice and then quit. We went through the manual which gave us no direction. I turned off the ice maker so that it would not burn up. I called Samsung January 9, 2015. They walked me through the troubleshooting and told me that because the ice maker was turned off, I had to wait 48 hrs. for service. They called me back on January 12, 2015 and again a different associate walked me through the same trouble shooting process but added a twist, which was the rollers where touching the floor and therefore Lowes had to come back out and give the refrigerator a 2 inch tilt. That seems ridiculous however we jumped through the hoops. I went on live chat with Samsung January 15,2015 and again that associate was going through the same trouble shooting process. Really, does anyone do service anymore? I let him know that it is unacceptable to have a refrigerator only one week old. With full warranty and not be able to get it serviced. Very unhappy with Samsung and will never buy another appliance from them.

Purchased this microwave from Lowes about 2 years ago. Dont have receipt anymore so dont know exact date... It now gets the -SE- error code and researching online after the fact have learned it to be quite a common problem and a design flaw in Samsung microwaves. Called Samsung to fix this issue and they said they will only replace parts for this error code in older models and not the SMH9027ST models... I ordered the display part and tried to replace myself but cant seem to open the bottom silver piece where this part goes. Will never again purchase Samsung products of any kind... Terrible customer service and products with known issues.

Will never purchase another Samsung anything. Purchased 28 cu ft refrigerator year and half ago. Problems w/ the ice maker from the day I purchased. Same as other customers - ice maker noisy and would freeze up. You call Samsung and they walk you through everything you have already done and then refer you to another number that will get back to you. When they do they leave a message to call back to the original number. Called again and was told Id be referred to an authorized repair dealer. Then notified 3 days later that there was none in my area. I did some searching and found one who stated they were. They came out the next day and found the problem (definitely Warranty) but fridge was over year old. I had been dealing with this problem since I purchased it and was told noise was normal. Took about 39 min for technician to discover the ice maker was assembled incorrectly from the factory. He reassembled it and put it back in and the ice maker has been working well (its terribly slow) for 4 days now. No knocking and loud noises. Interesting that he figured it out and Samsung didnt have a clue. Apparently they have been installed in the factory incorrectly. Ill gladly join a class action suit against them! Samsung doesnt seem to care about the consumer at all. Samsung Blue Ray DVD player just quit after approximately a year. Had been a gift from our daughter. I love the fridge when it works but am very worried reading other complaints. Ice maker was terrible until technician from Back Canyon City (small town north Phoenix) came to the rescue. I bought a Samsung refrigerator only 6 months back from the army canteen. It is sad that it is not cooling and on complaining 3 times. Every time I complained I was told to follow certain steps... I did it... but with no respite... Finally I had the technician who checked the fridge and gave me the good news that a part needs to be replaced since its under warranty. But my complaint is that the company checks the fridge before dispatching the product... How can this happen? I pay my hard earned money to get a refrigerator that gives problems in 6 months and does not cool... Every day I have to throw things from the fridge.

Ice maker never worked properly (leaked, jammed, made inadequate ice when it did work). Since I had another refrigerator, I decided to take out the ice maker to make more room in the freezer. Did so (after great effort--badly designed drawers for removal). Refrigerator wouldnt work. Went on chat line. First time worked with someone for 25 minutes who obviously didnt have a clue about my particular model (kept referring to buttons that didnt exist) even though I had given her the correct model (french door unit)--then cut off. Tried again; passed to another tech. In both cases, I asked if the removal of the ice maker might have caused the problem. Was assured not. Went through every possible trouble-shooting efforts (most of which I had already done). Asked again: could it be that the removal of the icemaker was causing the problems? No, I was told, I would have to call a service rep. Before I did so, however, I reinstalled the icemaker. Refrigerator worked perfectly. Apart from the fact that English is clearly a second language, these folks dont have a clue about their own equipment.

BUYER BEWARE! Heres what Im dealing with right now: We purchased an entire kitchen set from Samsung.com in December as a black Friday special. In March, the dishwasher stopped working. We contacted Samsung via their website and set up a ticket. The day of the appt, the technician didnt show, we contacted them and were told that Samsung cancelled their contract that day due to Covid. No one bothered to call us to let us know. They said we would have to wait until the lockdown had passed. We did. For 3 months. As the state has now reopened, we contacted them to see when we could get the repair. They advised us they no longer had a repair service in the area. We then asked for a replacement, they never actually responded to that despite our insistence of a repair or replace, instead they offered to refund us the amount we paid for the dishwasher. Because of the discount we received for purchasing this is as a set, the amount they are willing to refund is only half the cost of a replacement dishwasher. This would force us to have to pay out an additional $400 after going 3 months without a working product, this is unacceptable. For the first 3 months I was cordial and patient, but this past week has brought out a whole different side. I am beyond frustrated with their customer service, and I do not think it is right that I would have to pay them any more money to get what should have been included in my initial kitchen package. We got their Tuscan Stainless Steel set and it is an exclusive color only to Samsung, we would have no choice but to give them more money or risk losing home resell value for having a mismatched set.

First 3 months after we bought the Samsung dmt300, it was down. Sears came out repaired it, 3 months later down again. After 4 repairs in the first year, I had had enough. This is the worst freaking product I have ever bought. For the price you pay, you would think it would work great but heck no we have had a repair person here to fix the stupid thing over and over again from it completely being rebuilt the first year new motor. Pump front panel board and so on to the last few repairs of the top water jet falling off and the rollers on the racks falling off.Now another problem with the stupid thing - flashing heavy light, which by the way means there is a leak somewhere, which there is going to be another service call. We constructed a new home and purchased a full set of appliances made by Samsung and have had major regret with the decision. We purchased extended warranty and have had to use the services on most of them. We have now had to change to a different manufacturer of dishwasher that the warranty has just ended. Now the fridge door needs to be replaced as the lower shelf mount has broken and the mount is part of the entire door which has all the electronics integrated. The shelf above that one is broken as well. We just called Samsung support to ask for support prior to filing a complaint and they offer none, only a toll free number for parts. As a result of our experience we will never purchase another Samsung product. Completely dissatisfied.

We bought a Samsung refrigerator from Lowes when we moved in March this year. Three weeks ago, the freezer compartment broke down. Samsung’s customer service said that they would send someone to repair it. Two days later, the maintenance staff came to check and said the parts were defective. It took another week or so to fix it. However, the whole refrigerator stopped working the next day, which was last Friday. Everything we bought went bad! The worst thing was to call Samsungs customer service. I waited online for three hours and finally got connected. They told me that they will call me back within 24 hours. Yesterday was Tuesday, there was still no calling back. Finally, I called them again, and was told the calling back time was 72 hours now! It is Wednesday today, and the person in charge has not been contacted yet. There are elderly and children in my house, and our daily meal becomes a difficult, especially in this COVID-19 pandemic. We cant eat out a lot. We have to go to groceries every single day to buy the food for that day! We are taking a great risk! In general, Samsungs refrigerator had a quality issue- it stopped working in only four months, and the after-sales service was even worse! Its really disappointing! I will try my best to aware more people!

We had numerous service calls to fix it. It would be fixed for a short time and then leak again. At one point it quit completely. Purchased this microwave from Lowe’s in 2013. Broke this weekend after catching on fire internally. White plastic / electrical smoke filled our house. Luckily no other damage. If we were not in the kitchen however, the story could have been different. Contacted Samsung directly to see if they could help with repairs, or a discount towards a new Samsung microwave. The answer: No, we only warrant our appliances for 1 year. Anything past 1 year is the consumer’s responsibility. So my warning to anyone looking to purchase a Samsung appliance. Get the extended warranty, which is very expensive. Because after year 1, and your appliance breaks or causes damage to your home, Samsung will not help. Wonderful company.

After several missed phones call I finally received a notification via email that Samsung would extend a one time repair accommodation. The repair man was a tad testy with me for not having my refrigerator plugged in so that he could get the code off of the computer. Excuse me it hasnt been working for almost a month now. Im not going to leave it plugged in. Eventually, he managed to troubleshoot the problem. He wanted to change the evaporator fans but I wouldnt agree to that since my husband had already tested those and they were working properly. Im knocking on wood and hoping for the best the fridge is working now with no problems. I can only hope I get a very least another 3 years out of it. Im and saving my money now for its replacement. Thank you to Samsung for doing the right thing

Bought Feb 2015. Worked, but never dried 1 dish. In June heavy light started flashing, repair came out, said he raised hose. Worked for 2 weeks. Can out again - replaced 2 hoses, then decided tub leaked. Accused us of attempting to repair, two elderly women me and my mom. Samsung said that they would refund, not replace as rhe model has been discontinued. Nothing on my receipt indicated that I purchased discontinued item. Now I can get the upgraded model for an additional $200. Bait & switch? So here I am with a dishwasher that does nothing but flash heavy light. Dishes being washed by hand. They now drain in my dishwasher. This horrifying appliance replaced a $25 whirlpool about 30 years old purchased at Habitat for Humanity, which worked perfectly for 4 years. Service America would not repair because it was too old... So much for new. All I asked is for a replacement with stainless front and interior and was quiet. My new Samsung is very quiet, just a lovely blue flashing light.

Based on the Consumer Reports review (microwave has since been dropped from their recommended list), I purchased the SMH9187ST. It worked great for 13 months then died with the dreaded SE error. I tried resetting the control module and worked for another week. I contacted Samsung and they acted like I was crazy. But thanks to kind folks in this forum, I went to repairclinic.com and purchased the replacement model item #2024600 and part #DE94-01999C for $70. I got it in a week and took all of 5 minutes to replace. I will restate the procedure: 1. Unscrew the 2 top vent screws and slide to the left. 2. Take out the top control module screw and gently remove, watching out for the tabs on the bottom. 3. There are 6 wiring connections that pull away very easily. Mark them if you need to.4. Put everything back and youre done. Working great! So far. This was way easier than I thought. Also, I contacted Consumer Reports and they provided info for filing formal complaints with various agencies. But they must be listening because Samsung is no longer in their OTR recommended list.

Refrigerator started icing up in the back just after the first year was up. Got Samsung to pay for the parts but we had to pay for the service call. Now another year and a half later the same thing is happening and the service rep told us they have a fix for the first fix. We have to wait an entire week to get our refrigerator back to working order. The parts need to be ordered and it has to thaw out to get the back panel off. Called Samsung again and this time the manager of the woman I talked to said they will not cover the parts because the warranty had run out. I have a Maytag refrigerator that we use for beverages that has run for 24 years with no problems and dont know what I would do without it. No more Samsung for us. The Samsung replaced a GE refrigerator we had for 24 years with no problems.

We purchased the Samsung induction range 4 years ago. Thankfully we bought the extended warranty as weve used it no less than 5 times so far. Weve basically had the entire stove rebuilt as the oven temperature doesnt hold well owing to issues with (1) the fans; (2) the sensors; (3) the motherboard/control panel. Most recently the top of our range cracked as well. This is an incredibly low quality company both in terms of their products and their service. I would NEVER buy another samsung appliance and would caution anyone about buying one if youre seeking to have it last more than 1-2 years. If youre intent on buying one, buy any and all extended warranties available as you will absolutely need them.

When I tried to register the product at the Samsung site, it kept kicking me out to correct non-existent errors, giving me the suspicion they didnt want to accept my information or to honor the warranty. I got them on the phone and they cheerfully set-up an appt. with the only Samsung service available in a 75 mile radius, and I live just outside Chicago! Not sure what had happened to my brand new dishwasher, I decided to call the service outlet 12 miles from my home to inquire about the possibility of it being due to bad electric service. They informed me that the visit alone would be $138! I since realized it was Samsungs fault because I have 4 other electronic appliances that have been around for 5 years, trouble-free.But I also decided to Google trouble with this dishwasher and immediately found a website called: Consumer Complaints & Reviews. Apparently, I wasnt the only one who discovered too late, that the most important part of selling me a Samsung dishwasher is getting me to purchase it... Of the top 125 complaints, there are about 20-30 Best Buy customers. The typical breakdown concerns the Chinese electronic control panel which is what my problem is, according to the trouble code. The dishwasher will recover after about 4-8 hours, begins a new wash cycle and then a few minutes later, stops and blinks the LEDs.Ive had it for 6 months and used it 10 times. I have the original box of Powerball tablets recommended by Samsung. I live alone and usually wash a lot by hand instead of wasting energy, soap, etc. Im presently at home with a back injury and no dishwasher! I can only stand for about 2 to 4 minutes and Im still paying for the broken Samsung. So far, the cost is $50.00 per wash load!I called Best Buy for help. I wanted to trade this for a new dishwasher of a different brand and they offered to take the unit away for me, while there, delivering my new purchase! I got angry and said, I couldnt find out it was defective before your time limit. I dont have that many dishes. They asked me if Id bought the extended service plan and I got more angry. I said: Once you get it out the door, it’s next customer? What happened to standing by your product? Youre in this business, obviously, you know this is junk, why is it on your floor to sell to me?According to these bad reviews at Consumer Complaints & Reviews, Samsung had denied, blamed and dragged their feet at the customers expense for months at a time in many cases. So my worst fears about trying to clean my dishes with my injury are coming true! WHY Samsung? WHY Best Buy? I hope you have the decency to allow this review to be posted here, for the sake of your remaining customers, because Ive taken myself off your mailing list and cutting up your so-called: Elite membership! Just in case you censor this review, Ill be posting it all over the internet, everywhere I can, until my undeserved punishment is repealed by you or Samsung.

I had a problem to open the buttom drawer of the freezer section of my new refrigerator from the beginning and went back to Sears and was told to lift the drawer up more, that did not help. After month and months of trying to open that drawer I finally ripped it out and actually injured my hand. I then called the SAMSUNG company and they told me they will send somebody they work with in Valrico, Florida. I asked them if they do not have somebody familiar with this type of fridge problem closer to my home in Bradenton, Florida and I was told NO. A repairman came, unscrewed and screwed back again the FREEZER COVER DART SEAL and also told methat the digital display should be replaced. (The digital display is fine, except on the zero degree 0 there is a small piece not lit up). I removed a big amount of ice under the buttom drawer and the repair man a small part. BUT, my problem is NOT taken care of, I still cannot open the buttom drawer and ice on the back is still accumulating and for that service which did not accomplish anything I had to pay $90.I sent an e-mail to Samsung but I am still waiting to hear from them again...I will today try to call them again but I seem to get somebody overseas on the phone and they are just telling me that my warranty has run out although when I bought the refrigerator I was told I have a 5 year warranty on the appliance.

Worst (and most expensive) refrigerator Ive ever had. Ordered the perfect fridge but kept getting offers for replacement (different) models that didnt have same features. Finally settled on completely different model and have nothing good to say about it. Drawers are not smooth and are noisy. It makes random noises all day/night. When getting crushed ice for a normal sized glass, it goes all over the place. The doors neither open nor close easily. You have to completely shut off the water supply to replace the filter. It doesnt even have a section for butter. Literally hoping this thing dies by some random act of God so I can justify replacing it.

Bought 3-Door Refrigerator/Freezer (RFG299AARS). The plastic part behind the freezer handle broke. Samsung sent wrong part to replace it and said they had discontinued the item. Couldnt find anything that wasnt generic and had to be modified to fit the unit. The glass crisper cover broke immediately and the weight of the full drawers broke the humidity selections out as well. Cannot place any weight on top of the cover. Now the vegetables arent climate controlled and the vegetables will freeze. Climate control throughout the refrigerator is not even and anything pushed to back of refrigerator freezes. The same for anything at the very front. An expensive, $3,000, piece of junk. What can stop this fraud perpetrated on the public, especially when consumer advocate groups rate this product so highly? Had to fight to get the extended warranty protection directly from Samsung to be honored. Then the repairman refused to return because he hadnt been paid by the company.

Since we purchased a Samsung refrigerator in 2002 we have had two different issues with the unit, the first related to a $450.00 electronics card that controlled the temperature. Lost everything in the refrigerator and was compensated by manufacturer for half the loss. The card was covered under warranty. Before the repairman left we were advised to purchase an extended warranty for $500.00 which covered parts and labor for the next 3 years. I declined. About a month ago the ice maker stopped working. After assessment by Samsungs repair service he said the only repair was replacement of the ice maker, of which they had many on the truck. Hmmm? Cost of parts and repair....$450.00. I said no and paid $50.00 for the house call and ordered the $120.00 ice maker from RepairClinic.com and replaced it myself in 10 minutes with the help of a Youtube video. My point... $3,000.00 Samsung refrigerators are designed to fail in two to three years so they can charge you $400.00 for the replacement of a $50.00 part. This is part of their business plan. You will be surprised how much money you can save by purchasing the part from an online parts supplier and getting installation instructions off Youtube.

We purchased a Samsung RF323TE French Door Refrigerator with a Bottom Freezer and Ice Maker in approximately November 2012. Things were working fine until we started noticing a foul smell (like urine) coming from the water out of the dispenser. The water and ice then tasting bad as well. I thought it was the filter, so I bought a new filter, replaced it, and flushed it with several gallons of water through the dispenser as instructed. This worked for about a week, and then the problem returned. I thought I just got a bad filter, so I put a new one in and repeated the process. Shortly after, the problem is now back. I went to the Samsung website to try and troubleshoot it, but I could not find nor enter the model number. I got an error message saying the model number was not found! I purchased a set of 4 Samsung kitchen appliance in August. Shortly we found out that the food in the refrigerator freezes and the freezer’s ice maker stopped dispensing ice. Since it was 2 weeks since we bought it, I went to the Home Depot where we bought them to exchange it, but they stated that they will only return or exchange on the first three days and that we have to contact Samsung to repair it which it didn’t make me happy to hear that knowing that they don’t stand behind the products they sell. The manager said if Samsung attempts to fix it three times and the issue still not fixed then they will change it. So, I called Samsung and they started a ticket. Since then, it has been 2 months and several trips by the Samsung’s repairman, they were able to fix the ice maker, but the fridge still freezes the food and now when opening and closing the door the whole fridge makes a loud squeaking sound. On the last trip, the repairman contacted Samsung and stated that they have changed all parts they could, and the issue is still there. Samsung viewed the temperature difference and frozen food through a video conference with the repairman. They stated that it is the way that fridge is designed and do not put food in the back of refrigerator. I could not believe what I heard, and the repairman stated that he has done what he could. He wrote the report and left. In disbelief, I called Samsung customer service. The person helping me could not even access the ticket number to see the history and kept on trying to schedule a repair. When I asked to speak to a manager, somehow, she found a way to view the repair history and stated that she is noting the issue and a manager from the refund and exchange will contact me on Monday. So far no one has contacted me. We have been a Samsung family so far from our phones to TV, appliance etc. but starting to look into other manufacturers as the product quality and service is not there anymore. I hope they resolve this issue soon as possible as I cannot use my brand-new refrigerator. I try not to put food in it, because I have to through them away after a day.

I called Samsung support, if you want to call it that. They had me go through steps to defrost it and reset the ice maker. It worked for a few weeks, then did the same thing again. I tried to get them to send out a service tech to see if there was an actual problem, while the fridge was under warranty. They would not do it. They said it just needed to be maintained by us. I got tired of the run around from Samsung, so I left it at that. We can live without an ice maker, because by the time Samsung actually wanted to do something about it, our warranty had expired. Imagine that!!!Now, our new problem. A few weeks ago, we noticed milk and food spoiling in the fridge. We thought it had just expired or something, but it had not. The fridge was not cooling past 60 degrees. The front panel said it was 35 degrees, but when I reset the panel it showed the actual temp of 63. No wonder food is spoiling. I called a service tech myself, because I thought our warranty was out. They listened to the symptoms and didnt even send someone out. They told me to contact Samsung, as it was a problem with the sealed system, and it is still under the 5 year warranty. So, I called Samsung. After 3 different phone calls and 3 different ticket numbers, they sent out their contracted service techs. The tech concluded, after a couple of hours of work, that the problem was in the sealed system. I asked him if it can be fixed, and he said he didnt know of anybody that can fix it, due to the flammable refrigerant they used in these systems. Now, Im waiting on Samsung to get their head out of their collective **, and do something about this, as weve been without a fridge for going on 4 weeks now. I will never buy another Samsung product as long as I live.

I purchased a Samsung dishwasher in 9/2012 model # DMT400RHW/XAA from Sears. From day 1 the dishwasher would not wash my dishes very good. It would leave spots on glasses, utensils, & a white substance on plates, bowls, etc. I contacted Sears after the tub in the dishwasher was holding water & the dishwasher would shut off with the delicate blue light flashing. Sears advised me to contact Samsung Repair. This is when the dissatisfied consumer turned into Angry Consumer. I contacted Samsung Repair & they told me that I was assigned to a repair company to come out & fix the dishwasher (under warranty) at No Charge, but when I contacted repair appliance company, she advised me that I would have to pay for it to be repair. Then I contacted Samsung repair & told them what the repair company said so she then assigned me to another repair appliance company, but they wanted me to pay for the mileage for them to come out & fix the dishwasher. Again, I had to contact Samsung Repair about the mileage problem. After several calls to Samsung Repair, she put me on hold & came back & said her manager said they would pay for the mileage. The repair appliance coming assigned would never answer my phone calls or messages I left more than 4 times. They would call me at inconvenient times when I was driving & could not pick up the phone, but I would pull over & call back & the repair company again would not pickup my calls or return my messages I had left & the next day Samsung Repair department closed the repair order, without contacting me to let me know they were going to close out the repair order or to find out why from me that I could not get in touch with the repair company. I called the Executive Customer Relations department spoke to Keya & she advised me that the dishwasher would be repaired at No Charge. I sent several Emails to corporate office & Samsung repair several times & several days ago & I have not received any correspondence from Samsung either by Email or Phone Call. Please help me in getting my money back from Samsung. I have never owned a Samsung dishwasher before or do not ever want to own a Samsung dishwasher again. This is the First & Last time I will purchase a Samsung appliance, electronic, or Any other product ever again from Samsung. I have never ever had a problem with any dishwasher I have purchased before, Only This Samsung Dishwasher. Please, Please, Please Help Me!!! I dont have the money for an Attorney.

Samsung makes a beautiful refrigerator. It is well-built with shelves and compartments. Please dont have a problem, because you can wait months for the replacement parts. Also, the phone support and their customer concern is deplorable. They give you constant run around and you can never speak to the same person. You must repeat what your problem is over and over again. They need a program to teach their employees better product knowledge and people skills. Samsung makes a beautiful product and then drops the ball with everything pertaining to the consumer. This has to be bad for repeat business. They make a sale but not a repeat customer!

Add my 2-year old Samsung french door model #RF23HCEDBWW to the countless refrigerators whose ice makers freeze up and become inoperable. Customer service at Samsung was useless as my refrigerator is out of warranty AND their customer service rep had no knowledge of any freezer ice-up issues. I referred her to Samsungs own website and its 17 pages of complaints. ONLY recourse scheduling repair service and having to pay out of pocket for a chronic, well documented, flaw in this product. $2900 Samsung french door refrigerator. Ice maker failed a little over a year after we bought it. I would have to remove the ice bin and use a blow dryer to melt ice buildup internally in the back of the freezer for about an hour each month to get the ice maker to make ice. Customer service was no help. Technician said it would cost $500 to fix. Refrigerator stopped cooling after two and one-half years. It would cost nearly $1000 to repair. Replaced it and will never buy another Samsung product.

6 months ago, we started having problems with the freezer side freezing up and then the fan was hitting the ice and making loud noises. We turned down the freezer control, which helped for a while. We have had this refrigerator for 22 months and yesterday it quit working. We called a repair person and he said that the motherboard and the fan were burned up. He called to get prices on the new parts and said it would cost around $300.00 to fix and replace parts. However, he told us that the motherboard was DISCONTINUED and that the replacement motherboard might not fix the problem with it icing up. We paid $1000.00 for this refrigerator and it was a lemon. Will never buy one from them again. Also, Sears is where we bought this refrigerator and we will never buy one there again for selling us a piece of junk. It started having problems right after the 1 year warranty expired!. $1000.00 refrigerators should last more than 22 months! Also, when we called the first repair company, they said they do not work on Samsung refrigerators. Seems to me they knew about the problems from me and other customers.

I purchased a microwave last year and all of a sudden it started turning on by itself. I located on Samsung website was a sensor seems straightforward and obvious, same exact issues happening. They send a tech out who looked and bent my hinges as an attempt to “fix” a brand new microwave. As soon as tech leaves I open the microwave and close it, it turns back on so it wasn’t fixed within 5 minutes of tech leavening. I call Samsung. They schedule me again for another tech. I took off work again now 2 days. They never show up. I call Samsung and they told me they never came because the first tech said there wasn’t an issue with the microwave. Which is mind blowing considering he bent my microwave and damaged it to fix a problem that didn’t exist? And they couldn’t of told me that before I took off another day of work. So end result was hours wasted 2 days off work. No fix and they proceeded to tell me the customer that my microwave functions properly even tho it turns on by itself and turns off without any input. I have never dealt with such a terrible company who said they can’t do anything for me because at this point it’s their tech company and Samsung isn’t responsible so I’m out 2 days a work and a over the range brand new microwave now needing to be replaced. Never buy Samsung. Total scam company. I will never purchase a single thing from them ever again. They couldn’t even accept that it’s their microwave. They blamed the fact the tech company lied and said they fixed or never had to fix my microwave and said, We’ll sorry. Can’t help you. Complete disgrace.

Over the last 2 years I have purchased 3 Samsung appliances, a microwave, an electric range, and a dishwasher. Each had had quality issues. The microwave runs fine but the door handle completely pulled out of the door. We dont even use it very often. Its 2 years old so I know from my experience with the dishwasher that I wont get any help from Samsung for poor quality. The dishwasher is high end model. The pieces holding the upper rack are plastic and dried out and broke within months following the purchase. The company replaced them once but when it happened a second time - because the plastic once again did not hold up - no replacement because it was outside the warranty date. Really? This is a quality issue and should be fixed completely. For now tie wraps hold up my top dish rack. So much for a $900 dishwasher. Finally the range. It is hit or miss whether it holds the set temperature and doesnt necessarily get to temperature if using one or more burner. Ive had it with Samsung appliances. Never again. The only samsung product I can honestly say Im happy with is my phone. Samsung appliances look nice on the outside but are made of poor quality materials. Samsung appliance department should meet up with the electronics department for a lesson in quality.

Samsung RS265LABP - terrible, terrible experience. We had an extended warranty for up to 4 years. Called a few months before it ran out for frozen food in bottom drawers. Drawers were bulging outward because back of refrigerator was frozen and bulging. The outward thrust of the drawers kept the refrigerator door from closing and the food on top warmed up and was ruined. The celery, lettuce, tomatoes, etc. became frozen. Over the last 4 years we have had 3 different servicemen come for a total of 5-6 service calls which translates to no small expense as the warranty expired. Basically all that is accomplished is a defrosting. One repairman refused to come back; he said Samsung refrigerators had ruined his reputation. We keep a tea towel at the bottom of the refrigerator to keep the leaks from going out the door and on the floor. Never will we ever purchase anything from Samsung. They have ruined their own reputation.

Unfortunately, I fell in love with its center drawer and purchased a 4-door
Unfortunately, I fell in love with its center drawer and purchased a 4-door Samsung Refrigerator Freezer 3 and a half years ago, for $3200.00, without doing proper research. The model is RF24FSEDBSR and was manufactured in Sept of 2014. I still love the center drawer, but it is not enough to make up for the rest of the appliance. This is a prime example of a company that thinks highly of itself but doesnt care that it sells absolute junk. The number of problems and repairs for the ice maker, add up to this being the worst purchase I have ever made and that is saying something. I have put up with months and months of temporary fixes, thawing with hairdryers, mopping up pooling water on the floor of the refrigerator section and just doing without ice.Recently, I have had 3 service calls for the ice maker. The ice maker freezes solid and wont dispense ice. Then, I need to move all my refrigerated food to a cooler and my frozen food to the outside freezer; turn off the entire unit for 2 days, with both doors propped open; and put an air circulator/warmer inside, just so the repairman can pry the completely frozen icemaker out without cracking the wall of the refrigerator. On the last service call, he replaced the entire ice maker for about $550.00. My total out of pocket for repairs and service is about $850.00. I fully expect that amount to grow. Now, it sort of works, but makes very little ice, (which will not be enough with summer coming).I cannot get cubed ice, just crushed ice; there is water dripping down the front of the refrigerator and it is a constant source of aggravation. Samsung wasnt sympathetic or helpful when I talked with them, and they suggested that I should have purchased their 5-year Samsung Service Agreement for $1750.00 when I had a chance. Really? They were supposed to call me back (within 24 hours) 10 months ago, and Im still waiting. Complete waste of time, money, effort, energy and resources. Do not ever buy a Samsung refrigerator because they are expensive junk, was the advice of my repair person, who has owned an appliance repair business for many years. I could have saved myself lots of frustration, and money, if I had done my research.

I have a three-year-old Samsung side-by-side fridge that cost me $1000. Suddenly last month, it started to make a noise like a motorboat. I didnt think that a fridge less than 3 years old should be having issues, as I have had many refrigerators that lasted me 15 years or more with no repairs needed. None were Samsung. Well, I called Samsung and they were not willing to do anything for me. I had to call and ask for a supervisor who was not willing to make any concessions. Finally, after telling me multiple times that the fridge is out of warranty, she says she will pay for the parts but I had to pay for the installation myself.I am on a fixed budget and the repairman, theirs, wanted $250.00 to do the job. My son can do it for me for free - all we needed was the part. So I asked them to send me the parts then for free as they offered, but she said no, I HAD to use their service people or it would void the warranty. What warranty? Didnt you just tell me 5 times that I was out of warranty? She said it would void the warranty. This is a runaround and I am looking to find out if anyone else is having this problem with their fridge. The evaporation coil freezes up on the fridge side, and I was told I needed a Temperature Defrost sensor. I found one locally and am going to install it myself, but I had to make twenty phone calls in order to find one. The part costs $11!! Rip off company, lousy products and poor customer service. Dont ever buy a Samsung fridge!

I purchased my dishwasher and had it installed. After two washes the washer started leaking. We called customer service and after many attempts of scheduling and cancelling because theyre too stupid to confirm an appoint or called the correct number, they came. The technician told us that the panel was not sealed properly and that he would come back and get it fixed or would replace with a new one. The following appointment attempt, they called on me at the very last min and asked to come another. They told me 10:30-11:30 but instead came at 5pm. Another technician came this time but instead of fixing it, he blamed on the height adjustment screw removal and thats why the washer was leaking. What kind of ridiculous excuse is that because its not even related!? They refuse to fix my washer but what kind of crap machine breaks after two washes? Reassure that I will never buy a Samsung product again. I would make sure to make everyone knows about this. Two years ago I purchased a Samsung refrigerator (model #RS267TDRS). About a year after we bought it, we started to have problems with it NOT COOLING. Well needless to say, today it officially BROKE and all of our food has SPOILED. I immediately contacted Samsung and I spoke with Tiffany ** (operator #**) and Shonda ** (operator #**) of their customer service department. She told me that there is nothing that she can do to replace the refrigerator because it is out of warranty. After pleading with her that I have three small children under the age of five who need to have access to milk, juice and medication that requires refrigeration, she told me that she would schedule a service call (ticket #**). The problem is that I live in a rural part of Virginia. They wont be able to come to look at the refrigerator for a few weeks, let alone fix it on the spot or that it would be covered since it probably would be something that is not under their warranties. I need help! I cannot wait this long to get it looked at! I have already lost $500 worth of groceries and if I replace it with new food, we dont have a way to store that food. Please if someone at Samsung is reading this, take action to HELP ME. I am writing this post in hopes that someone at Samsung will see this and be able to get me a real resolution to this problem because I dont know what to do (maybe exchange for another used model or even a new one?). I currently work for the Marine Corps and we cant afford to buy another $1,500 refrigerator, especially since this one was purchased brand new 24 months ago from Lowes. I dont like dropping the we are a military family moniker, but the fact is I am a veteran who needs help. Again Samsung, please help! I am desperate since as a veteran, we dont make the type of money that most other families do. Not that any American family makes enough money to keep replacing refrigerators every two years. To be fair, I will update everyone if there is an amicable resolution to this issue.

To Tim Baxter or anyone else that cares about Samsungs reputation and how their terrible customer service and falsely advertised products, dont settle well with the consumer. I am at my wits end with your company and its appalling customer service! For 4 months now Ive tried to get your company to take ownership for a refrigerator it sold us, that claimed to offer a Flex Zone with 4 temp settings, all the way down to -1 Celsius. Tim, we both went to High-school at took basic science classes, but the techs and people in your Office of the President all seem to have either not taken the class or failed it. My wife and I have had food spoiling in that drawer for months, because it will NOT freeze as it should given that 0 degrees Celsius is freezing, therefore anything colder that zero is at least capable of freezing. Well nothing freezes in that drawer. Ive had 3 service people come out, who all are being told the same thing from Samsung that I am being told, which is that the refrigerator works as it should. Tim, please explain to me how its working as it should when food does not freeze in a drawer that offers a -1 degree Celsius setting. Your office of the president, at 888-480-5675 and Loshanda at extension **, has ignored 7 messages I have left for her with the receptionist, and two voicemails. She literally has decided to blow me off. The last time she called me, before Thanksgiving, she told me that Mr. ** its not supposed to freeze, since -1 degrees Celsius is also 29 degrees Fahrenheit, therefore its 29 degrees above freezing... I was without a reply for a few minutes. How do you politely tell a person that they dont know that Celsius and Fahrenheit both measure temperatures, and that -1 Celsius and 29 Fahrenheit are the same below freezing temperature. After Loshandas obvious failure to care to call me back anymore, because she believes its working fine, I called and asked for a supervisor in your Office of the President. Ive been told twice there is no such thing, that I just have to leave a message for Loshanda to call me back. I’ve done that once a week for 7 weeks. I’m exhausted and utterly disgusted with the horrible service from your company. I dont know which is worse, that your techs believe -1 degrees Celsius is not supposed to freeze the food, or that your Office of the Preside could care less at this point, after my wife and I have lost hundreds of dollars in food that has gone bad, Ive wasted hours with techs coming out telling me the same thing, and more hours on the phone talking to your general Samsung support line that offers no help but to suggest I have yet another tech come out, who will waste all our time again. Tim, my wife and I own thousands of dollars in merchandise from you all, from phones, to BluRay players, to TVs etc. Is this how I should be treated? I want Loshanda at least reprimanded or at best fired, and I want and deeply hope for your help in resolving this matter. Your refrigerator does not do as it was sold to do, its that simple. And I need this fixed. Please Tim. Ive left voicemails for others in your Office of the President, they too have ignored me.

Stove circuit fire on the new stove. I wrote the post below last year before Thanksgiving. Samsung repaired the unit. Then gave us a partial refund as well. We kept the stove since it was working. Now it is having an electrical problem. We smell wire burning. At this point, Samsung has made good on this stove. But it is disappointing that even after repair there are more issues with the range/oven. We now are looking to buy a new stove and will not by Samsung again.Post from 2017: Dear Samsung support. Tonight my stove went on fire. I have a NE59J7630SS, which we purchased in July of 2015. My wife was cooking and heard a loud pop from behind the instrument panel and then fire and smoke. I turned off the breaker off and opened the back panel. I have a picture attached. Is this something you can fix for us? This should not happen to a new stove like this! It is not longer under warranty. I see this is not just an isolated incident judging from the forums online. Please let me know if you can assist.
