Samsung 197ACRS Refrigerator - In March 2012 I purchased this counter width
Samsung 197ACRS Refrigerator - In March 2012 I purchased this counter width fridge from Leons in London. The refrigerators cooling system on the inside freezes up constantly and when it goes into the defrost cycle the water pools in the bottom of the refrigerator. During the year warranty with Samsung they came and defrosted the unit at least three times. I requested the unit be replaced but was not accommodated by Samsung. Thank goodness I took out an extended warranty. To date I have called at least 5 times for the unit to be repaired. One tech suggested if I had another refrigerator I could transfer my food into it and unplug the Samsung frig and defrost it. I have always had concerns as to how effective the unit is really keeping the food, and just recently I have noticed spoilage of food that should not have occurred. They are going to come look at it. I do not have a lot of money and paying $1,800.00 for a refrigerator was a major expenditure. Samsung refuses to do anything to rectify this situation and I understand that they have corrected this problem in their new units. I feel that I have been taken advantage of and I do not know where to go to resolve this issue.

Samsung French Door Refrigerator - Model # RF263BEAESR/AA - BEWARE ----> BA
Samsung French Door Refrigerator - Model # RF263BEAESR/AA - BEWARE ----> BAD PRODUCT & BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE ----> SAMSUNG. $2,000 refrigerator with ice maker that has not worked properly since day one. Samsung warranty repaired twice in first year. Ice maker would work for a week or two then frost up and leak water on inside, collect then leak out doors making a mess all over floor. After several frustrating calls to Samsungs resolution department I received another service call outside of warranty (1 year) to replace several parts and defrost element. This did not fix the problem and ice maker frosted up a couple weeks later. Requested service AGAIN and waited 1 month without a response. Finally was told Samsung would not repair or service further and I should contact a service center to pay for another repair. Note: Service techs both told me the icemakers are a HUGE PROBLEM for Samsung. What a freaking joke! Samsung is making a piece of crap and is failing to support and/or correct this. HOPE AN ATTORNEY THAT BUYS ONE OF THEIR BAD REFRIGERATORS FILES A CLASS-ACTION SUIT. UNTIL THEN ------> DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG

Our 1900$ Samsung 26 cu ft refrigerator was delivered 9/10/2011. It quit working 8/30/2016. We never had problems with the ice maker, although it was slow even for two adults needs of ice. I decided no use to fix it, just go get another refrigerator. If you read reviews on any brand about four hundred people always say what they bought was the worst experience possible. Even the sales guy said refrigerators rarely last more than eight years nowadays. So my advice is spend what you are willing to replace in five years. Thats how long my Samsung lasted.

We purchased a Samsung refrigerator May, 2015. I want to keep others from making the same mistake. I would not buy any Samsung product, ever! This has been a piece of junk from the start and Samsung totally excludes themselves from any contact. The ice maker has not worked correctly from the beginning. They replaced it in the first year and it still hasnt worked properly. I would highly recommend people to buy anything other than Samsung.

Bought fridge in 2016. Had to replace the first one brought out cause the ice maker didnt work at all. The new one the ice maker has a mind of its own... Leaked water constantly. Got gaskets replaced. Now the fridge freezes my food and I had to throw away about $80 of groceries. The repairman was supposed to come yesterday but never showed up now I have to wait another week. To take a chance of losing more food... That I cant afford. Im elderly and on a fixed income.

Repair serviceman gave us estimate of $1100 + to repair and he said there was unknown underlying issue which he could not repair. My Samsung range is perfect. Easy to use & clean. If Samsung made vehicles we would probably have one of those too. I like that it has a convection for baking & roasting. I like the self cleaning oven. The only thing I would change is the oven light shutting off every time I open it to check on whats cooking. I could look through the door, but not only am I old, Im old fashioned and prefer opening the door to see if whats cooking is done. Plus sometimes a toothpick, or knife test must be done to check to see if the food is done.

Bought a dishwasher around Jan. of 2013. Within 5 months, the controls and keypad were dead and unresponsive. Took forever to find a guy who could service Samsung in my neck of the woods. He declared the motherboard dead and said I needed a new one (total of $120 for part and labor). Dishwasher worked fine for all of about 3 months and the exact same thing happened again. Piece of **. I refused to keep spending $120 to keep $600 dishwasher running. So I blew it up on my gun range and went out and bought a Bosch - which has worked beautifully for 3 years.

We purchased the Samsung SMH9187ST microwave OTR from Best Buy in early 2010. This unit was one of the top-rated OTR microwaves on Consumer Reports. The oven has been very lightly used as we have a second microwave in the kitchen (a Sharp which is over 7 years old). Anyhow, 29 months after purchasing the Samsung, the keypad is showing the SE code and is basically unusable. As others have experienced, this is a known defect that Samsung should take care of but wont. I will be sadly buying another brand to replace this nice looking junk, but I would eagerly participate in a class action lawsuit against Samsung!

The doors to my Samsung refrigerator are supposed to be stainless steel, but they are rusting. I have cleaned the stainless using mild soap, hot water to clear gunk, then wipe and apply a high quality stainless polish. I started seeing the rust a couple of months ago and have been cleaning them up. Although I am cleaning them, the rust is now starting to pit. This refrigerator is only 15 months old! I bought through Sears including the warranty, but they are saying rust is not covered as it is a cosmetic item. I called Samsung and they immediately said there was nothing they would do as this is a cosmetic item. If this were steel or if I had been scrubbing the front with steel wool, etc., I could understand their stance, but this has been well cared for. By the way, did I say this was our second refrigerator in one year?! The first one died within a month, three days before Thanksgiving! Sears says theyd send a tech in two weeks! The local Sears store sent a new fridge out the next day, but we lost $400 worth of food and although we bought the extra protection for spoiled food from Sears, they would not cover the food as a tech did not look at the refrigerator first! So, next with our new refrigerator, we have had two icemakers and still have lots of problems with it! I would not recommend this refrigerator to anyone! Neither Sears nor Samsung would do anything for me regarding this issue. So my $1200, 13-month-old investment from Sears is now rusting in my climate-controlled home! I do not recommend either Sears or Samsung as they have lied about the material this refrigerator is made from.

Next step is to unplug unit for 90 sec. then power up and hope that fixes it. Ice maker was junk from the start. Im on third ice maker assembly and possibly the 5th tray. The older the unit gets, the more defrost problems we have. I am replacing main board today. I hope its upgrade and not just a new set of problems.

The ice dispenser has stopped working on my 2 and 1/2 year old refrigerator model # RF4287HA. The ice maker is making ice but the dispenser switch will ONLY dispense water. We contacted Samsung several times (both technical and customer support) by phone and in writing to no avail. Upon reading various reviews by other Samsung refrigerator owners, I have found that many of us are experiencing problems with these appliances. It appears that the product is defective but Samsung is not responding to our requests for assistance. I sincerely request that Consumer Affairs help us get some satisfaction from Samsung.

RF18HFENBSR, less than 8 months old randomly stops cooling in both compartments. Temperature display indicates the SET temperature, not the ACTUAL temperature. No error codes (based on info from web searching the problem). If I unplug it, wait two minutes, then plug it back, the temperature displays will update to show ACTUAL temperature and unit MIGHT start cooling again. First tech determined it was the electrical outlet, so I moved it to another outlet. Since it started working, they decided the case was closed. When unit stop again, I called again. Samsung phone chat support says the unit needs support, but I cant get support to come out in less than a week. Meanwhile I have no refrigerator. According to my web research, this is a known problem with no known fix. Its been a total of three weeks.

I called Asurion which is the company who oversee the protection plan. They did send someone out to fix it but the same thing keep happening again and again, it’s eight times I have to call them for the same thing. Right now there are mold building up in there and when I tell them there are tell me it’s my responsibility. But if it’s wasnt for the water and the sweating inside there wouldn’t be any mold. Can somebody tell me what the next step I should take. I have pictures to show what am talking about.

I purchased a Samsung Conventional Oven from Best Buy in August 2011. The stove worked great until now. I was preheating the oven to bake lasagna and could smell burning plastic. I looked in the oven to make sure there was nothing burning inside and there was nothing. As I closed the door and stepped back, sparks started shooting out of the stove top and smoke was everywhere. I had my two month old son and my three dogs with me in the kitchen. Luckily none of them were injured. The ash from the blowout was all over my kitchen. The breaker blew (thank god) and I immediately unplugged the stove. I could not see an obvious signs of a problem until I really looked at the back of the stove. Where the plug is connected was covered in black ash. I removed the panel to find that the area where the plug connects was completely melted.I have had this stove for almost four years now. THIS SHOULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED!! Im still scared to death that this could have caused a house fire or an injury to my son, myself or my dogs. I will be contacting Samsung to see what can be done. I have read horror stories about their customer support but I have my receipt and pictures to back me. This is UNACCEPTABLE!

Machine has never cleaned dishes from day one and now it needs 600.00 worth of repairs. A fault code 7E keeps being logged and that will take a drive motor and circuit board replacement. Had service tech out twice while still under warranty for inability to wash dishes properly and they could never find a problem. Now the warranty is expired. It logs this water reflector problem and the parts are covered under warranty, but will cost me 250.00 labor to fix this piece of junk. I should have bought the Bosch instead. Very disappointed in performance of product purchased from what I thought was a reputable company. Ill never buy Samsung anything again.

Just like everybody here, I got this error for my Samsung microwave (model SMH9187W), which is just a bit over two years old. I arranged for service myself by a Samsung authorized service company. The repair cost $205.90. The company diagnosed the microwave as needing a new keypad. While waiting for the company to come back with the part and install it, I contacted Samsung about getting reimbursed for the problem. To my surprise, they did have a program in place to reimburse people, but only if you arranged for service through them and only if it was the control panel. If it turned out to be the keypad, they wouldnt pay. My service person came back, installed the keypad (which he said was the recommended fix in Samsungs own manual for repairmen) and my microwave now works. I contacted Samsung again because the invoice from the repair company says they actually replaced the electronic control board. I think the repair person is maybe using the terms interchangeably. At any rate, Samsungs new excuse for not paying me now has nothing to do with how my microwave was repaired, but because they have no way to reimburse me; despite the fact that I have a detailed invoice, that the repair fixed the problem and that it was performed by an authorized Samsung repair company. I just wrote a letter to the CEO and told him I would never, ever buy another Samsung product.

We purchased the Samsung from hhgregg in Appleton WI as we were remodeling
We purchased the Samsung from hhgregg in Appleton WI as we were remodeling our kitchen and the refrigerator # rf260beaesr has not worked from the start. For making ice, we have called hhgregg. We had the extended warranty and they told us its not their problem. We have to work through Samsung so we have called and on 5 different occasions received inaccurate information and the tech line of Samsung the repairman came out and thought we had a used refrigerator or malware refrigerator from the assembly factory as the cables were not connected and the coil for making ice was defective. He replaced it nicely. That piece of coil lasted one day and again we called the tech line and the repairman came replacement of something else and reset the refrigerator and when we came back from our 14 day vacation it stunk in the house and lo and below - all the food in the freezer spoiled. Over 250.00 of meat. We called them up and they said to call hhgreg and we did that and hhgreg said they have nothing to do with the Samsung as Samsung is the product and this is their problem. Now this is getting old. Since June we have been getting replacement parts and no wear as the freezer still is not working and either is the temperatures in the refrigerator and no one is taking responsibility in replacement. They said Samsung that is, that hhgregg will be calling you and replacing a refrigerator. No no not a call received. We have called and wrote everyone name down the phone and email and faxes that they told us to go through for Samsung and guess what? Nothing is done. Now all we want is our money back, plus the food lost, and we will not buy a Samsung product ever. Example - look at the Samsung phones are blowing up. We have done everything Samsung told us to do and as of 9/16/16 we are no further ahead. CIVIL suit - contact news and will expose both retailer hhgregg and Samsung for running false advertising and product reliability and the other thing is hhgregg in Appleton and Green Bay is going out of business. Everyone got our money but we end up being the loser. Where is the justice in customer service? Where is the responsibility for a product accountability? The refrigerator is not even a yr old rf260beaesr and I have a 5yr psp bf refrigerator warranty which I was charged 349.99. Plus the refrigerator of 1600.00. Where does this sit with me? FZ coils frozen up, defrost freezer. Heaters did not work. Def defrost control replaced, installed new main board and evaporator fa defrost sensor ordered. Need sensor, connected sensor e21 evap fan reconnect on 7-1 16. Next visit 7-18-16 reg def holder defrost thermostat no voltage to heater from board evap fan not running. 8/26 repairman another sensor ordered power freeze and another visit from technical difficulties. No one knows what the hell they are doing in Samsung and they dont care period. They think they can run a person ragged down so that the customer will quit & they dont have to deal with getting us our money back. They dont even know who their CEO. We asked - how much does this tell you they care or know about the Samsung equipment service? So, how do we get our money back so we can buy a refrigerator other than a Samsung? Maybe Electrolux or Maytag. Going locally I can at least get service and honesty and a replacement instead of the run about from retail stores like hhgregg who is going out of business 9/30/16 and Samsung who wont replace or give your moneys back from the purchase. Does anyone hear me out there? We faxed everything to 973 529 0543, tried 3 times would not accept faxes. Obtained a new fax # to 864 751 2882 on 9/17/16. We are calling hhgregg daily and Samsung daily to get a refrigerator. We are the customer and deserve better care than what we have gotten which was passing the buck blaming the other guy. Get some balls Samsung and take care of the customer - stand behind your name. As for hhgregg going bankrupt out of business says it all. They probably took the money and ran. Almost sounds like this with Samsung is trying to do as well. Just replace the ref or give the customer their money back. We were the trusting people in your name and now we have no trust in that name and you Samsung did not stand behind and take responsibility. Shame on you Samsung. Someday youll be a customer to someone else and lets see how that goes. You all will be exposed for what you are eventually.

We bought our Samsung refrigerator/freezer (model RF217ACRS) approximately 3 years ago. Worked just fine until shortly after purchase, one day noticed the bottom drawer freezer wouldnt close. Upon inspection noticed ice about a half inch thick in bottom under drawers. Chipped it out with an ice pick. Huge pieces of ice! Drawer closed fine once ice removed. Thought it was our fault, since maybe we hadnt shut door properly so didnt worry. This has now kept happening and I chip ice out of the bottom about once a week.Same for vegetable/fruit drawers in fridge. They fill with water (about 1/2 inch) and food was getting soaked/frozen. I ended up buying mats to elevate food in both drawers so they wouldnt get wet! Every week I take out drawers and pour water out. Also, ice/water build up underneath these two drawers too, that I chip/dry out once a week. Usually takes 2 to 3 dish towels to soak up excess water, then I chip away at ice!!! It is a huge pain, but after reading the other reviews here dont feel a service call will do any good. Guess we are stuck with a loser of a fridge/freezer for a few years and doing extra to keep it running and water/ice free. Will never buy Samsung again.Side note: We did not buy the ice maker, so that is not an issue or contributing factor to our problems.

Bought a Samsung dishwasher from Best Buy and had installed late Jan 2014. Once installed had service come out to the house FOUR (4) times to repair. Would just stop working. It never cleaned that well. Glasses always came out dirty. So here we are AGAIN, the dishwasher has stopped working but because we are now over a year they say our warranty is out and refuse to fix it. If you buy a brand new product and within the first year need service 4 times, dont you think there is an issue? And its convenient that the last time they came out they said if we needed service again they would just replace it... Its pathetic Samsung does not stand behind their products. But I guess they really dont want to because its crap. And in my opinion, my warranty shouldve started over every time they had to come out and repair it.

I purchased our Samsung French door refrigerator on 10/1/2011 through Lowes. At that time I also purchased their extended warranty; however, it expired on 10/1/2014, just 5 days short of the failure of our refrigerator. Lowes Service was very kind and immediately transferred me to Samsung, as they told me the sealed system would be covered by the manufacturer for 5 years. The representative at Samsung (after speaking and being transferred to a few different people) told me they would have a Samsung technician contact me within 24-48 hours. This was on 10/10/2014. I did not receive a phone call during this period; however, I did receive an email today, 10/14/2014. The email stated that they do not have a technician in my area, and wanted me to contact them via the supplied number to find a way to accommodate me. I was assigned a new reference number and transferred to multiple people until finally getting to speak to someone in the Executive Customer Relations Department. This person told me that Samsung couldnt repair my refrigerator due to my location, but that they could offer a pro rated buy back of it. I was told to email a copy of my original receipt to an email address they supplied me. I was told to write my name, phone number, and the most recently assigned transaction number on the receipt before emailing it to them. They told me that I would get a response within 2 business days of sending the receipt, but that I should call them if I do not get a response. The buy back is supposedly pro rated at 10% per year of ownership.

5 years ago we purchased a Samsung top-of-the-line dishwasher. Fortunately we purchased an extended Service Warranty from Samsung. This gave us a total of 5 years of warranty. Samsung was here for 12 different Service calls and probably spent over $2500.00 keeping this dishwasher running. Now that the warranty is off I tossed this Samsung dishwasher in the scrap metal pile. PLEASE, NEVER NEVER NEVER buy a Samsung appliance.

Even by todays standards - where risk for product reliability is forced onto consumers who must then buy extended warranties - this fridge is terrible. It makes god-awful noise twice a day that you can hear all over the house. I called BrandsMart three days in to complain and they said thats just how it sounds, too bad for me. I will not buy a Samsung anything ever again - and certainly not from BrandsMart. Service on this through extended warranty has been horrible. They use attractive designs to help them sell substandard product and poor Service. Then sales people abet by telling you they are great fridges. I cant count how many complaints I have now read. This was the Bottom Freezer refrigerator, Black.

This refrigerator broke down 2 days after the warranty expired. They wanted a hundred dollars just to look at it before any repairs even started. I ran into an unsolvable trying to fix it myself. The connector to the evaporator fan shorted out. Half of that connector is built into the back wall of the refrigerator section. I got a new fan as the wire was clearly burnt off. I plugged the fan in and nothing, the refrigerator still did not work. I took it apart again and this time noticed that the tiny pin in the connector mounted in the refrigerator back wall was also burned off. I couldnt find that part anywhere. So I had to call for a service tech and pay the $100.00 call fee. The tech came out, inspected it, and deemed it unrepairable. So I now have a $4000.00 piece of trash. This is clearly Samsungs fault. It is a very poor design. If you search the internet you will see hundreds of complaints about icing and water build up in this section of the refrigerator. Samsung refuses to do anything about it or compensate me in any way. DO NOT BUY A SAMSUNG REFRIGERATOR! They do not stand behind their products or care about their customers, or have a good designed product!

Purchased a Samsung RF25HMEDBSR/AA new a few years ago. Since it was new, the fridge has had an issue where it builds ice blocks up the coils until it freezes the fan in place. The frozen fan and coils results in the fridge failing and food spoiling. Approximately once every three months since this fridge was purchased I have had to take it apart and manually de-ice everything.I reported the issue to Samsung and was set up with a date a service provider was supposed to show up. They never came so I contacted Samsung again and was informed that due to where I live there are no authorized Samsung repair shops. They cancelled my open ticket and told me if I wanted it fixed Id have to contact someone on my own and front the bill. Lessons learned: Do not buy this fridge, it has serious issues with being able to defrost (I should note- I live in northern WI, not an hot and humid climate). Do not support Samsung, they will not stand by their product.

I am very unhappy with this Samsung Oven No#:(0D1NFDAH900088B), that I purchased in November of 2016, at Best Buy. I do homemade cakes for family and friends, each one I try to bake in this oven falls flat. It has been tested by Best Buys technicians, and I still have the same problem. I have to go to my sisters house, because I cant bake a cake in my own oven. Not one cake that I tried to bake has risen properly in this oven. The oven is peeling and rusting on the inside and there is stains on the glass doors that will not come out. I WILL NEVER BUY A SAMSUNG APPLIANCE AGAIN!!! UNHAPPY CUSTOMER IN DALLAS.

We bought a Samsung DMT300rfs/XAA dishwasher in May 2010. Had repairs in August 2012, September 2013, March 2014 and again, the SAME repair/part replaced in August 2014. Samsung will not consider this a lemon and our additional contract will expire in May 2015, after which WE will have to pay for that SAME part every few months. Samsung did offer us a diagnostic visit by THEIR recommended service tech (they no longer use Sears Repair) at an additional coast of $99.00 to us??All but the last repair left us with no dishwasher for about 2 weeks! Now, Sears is carrying that part on their truck. We only have to wait about a week! Its good that we purchased the extra warranty, but thats almost up. Side note: We also had to replace a Samsung microwave for the same reasons, bought at the same time! We did not purchase another Samsung.

Every summer the Samsung refrigerator model RF266abbp starts making a loud noise like an old fan. Every time we open the door it will stop and then it will start if we close it. The repair man came and said just unplug it and let it all the water from freezer flow out for at least 24 hours; then, let it dry and plug it again. Its been the third summer with the same stupid thing. I was cleaning the shelf with the thin glass, the vegetables and fruit compartment with 2 drawers, and the glass exploded! Yes, it exploded! I got glass in my arms and around my kitchen. There were very small cuts in my arms. It’s nothing threatening, but it scared me! I don’t know what to do or how to complain (if it’s useful)!

About 5 years ago I purchased a Samsung RF217ACRS wide french door refrigerator. This unit has been nothing but trouble since about 1 day after the warranty ended. In the past 2.5 years I have spent about as much money on repairs as on the original purchase. The control panel continues to freeze up, ice blocks the drain, the panel has been replaced twice, several other parts have been replaced yet nothing appears to solve the problem of water all over the bottom of the unit. The vegetable bins always have water in the bottom. Each repair person that has been to the house has reiterated that they intensely dislike working on Samsung however their appliances keep them in business. I will never purchase a Samsung appliance again.

I purchased a Samsung refrigerator 9 months ago from the Sears home appliance store. Just over 3 weeks ago, I noticed the freezer wasnt cooling. When I called Sears, they informed me that a technician would not be able to come out for 10 days. If I wanted someone sooner, I would have to call Samsung. Samsung sent out a tech within 3 days who said there was a leak and more than likely it would break down again until they can find the source of the leak. Just over a week ago, the freezer stopped cooling again. I called Samsung and they told me that I had to get in touch with someone to repair and I would be compensated, but they had to be certified to work on Samsung. I called the same company that came out before, who, as of 2 days ago, no longer deals with Samsung and 2 other companies who wont work on Samsung at all. Im stuck with a $3000 refrigerator that was purchased less than a year ago with an extended warranty that no one, including Sears or Samsung, is willing to fix!!

I can ditto everything in here, one code after another. Repairman (local) here 2x, replaced main board that didnt work. Did the cleanout cycle a few weeks back and was running well but now code 9E. Looked it upon net, tried the soap thing, NG. Tried banging on left side and running this time, but for how long? If I have to pull it out like another suggestion it WILL NOT GO BACK IN. BTW, the Samsung authorized dealer is 3 hours away! They sent one about 6 months after I got it for rust appearing on the outside of the door and he said rust was not under warranty. This is a stainless steel, inside and out, and theres rust? I agree, NO MORE SAMSUNG! I hope the microwave holds out longer.

Purchased electric range in 2018 and 2 months after the warranty expired things started going wrong. When I use a burner to cook no. 1 is way too hot and I have to remove the pan to a cold burner. When I set the timer on 5 min. after setting the oven temp. it reaches 400 degrees in 2 min. which means it does not heat properly. My husband advised me not to use the oven as it could be dangerous. When I used the oven all the cabinets on the side of the range, the top cabinets and the top of the stove were super hot. The microwave which is above the stove was just as hot. After reading the reviews I am amazed at how things go wrong after the warranty has expired. When we purchased the range we were told after 3 years if we did not call a maintenance man to the house because of a problem we would be reimbursed 1/3 of the price paid for the range. Good luck on that one. I am now fixing meals in the slow cooker or microwave. My husband called Samsung to complain and he was told the warranty expired and it would be $100.00 for a house call then we had to pay for parts. We are in our late 80s and should not have to deal with a lousy product and lousy service.

Lowes replaced it due to extended warranty but now 3 yrs later I tried again with warranty expired. Also had 2 Samsung LCD TVs die in 2 yrs, with both a Blu-ray player and separate DVD go belly up in that time too. Stupid name for ever buying anything from them after 2nd item. I bought a Samsung microwave (next to top of the line) and within a year it would not heat. The store I bought it at graciously replaced it. I added money to it and purchased the top of the line one - again a Samsung. In January the door bracket broke and my husband and I spent a day finding the right bracket on the internet. It was a $10 part and after finding schematics on the internet on how to replace it he was able to replace it. Otherwise it would have been at least a $125 repair call. It will be 2 years in July since we purchased this top of the line Samsung microwave and this one is not working. I detected a burning wire smell this morning in my kitchen and could not figure out where it was coming from till I opened my microwave to heat my tea and the light did not come on and the control panel was not lit. Thats when I realized that the burning wire smell was coming from the microwave. Really? Two Samsung microwaves within 3 years. I have sent Samsung an email asking for some kind of financial reimbursement to purchase another microwave because I will never purchase another Samsung microwave. I doubt that a reimbursement is going to happen. But I will keep all of you in the loop.

On March 15, 2013 we bought a Samsung French Door Smart Refrigerator (model # RF263BEAEWW/AA) from Home Depot, along with a 5-yr extended warranty. The ice maker was a little loud, but we could live with it. It was the perfect size, and had everything we needed. One yr and 10 months after we bought it, it stopped working on Dec. 23. There is only 2 people in our household, so it was not like someone was in and out of the refrigerator all day. On Dec. 29 the repairman came out and he said we needed a new compressor and he had to order the part. On Jan 12 the repairman returned with the compressor, but then said the freon had leaked out (which he could have found if he had brought the proper tools on the 1st visit) and as a result had spewed oil into all the coils and now everything had to be replaced, and he needed to order the parts! On Jan 16, we were told the parts would be in on Jan. 20..but by Jan. 30 they had not come in and we were told they were on back order. At this point, we had been without a refrigerator for ONE month! Home Depot finally reimbursed us for the cost of what we paid for the refrigerator, but it wasnt enough to cover a like model, in another brand. Once we knew the refrigerator could not be fixed, we wanted to return 2 Samsung water filters we had bought last year, to the cost of $154.00. The boxes have never been opened, but when I called Samsung parts representative, J & J International, they said they were unreturnable. Apparently, you only have 30 days to return parts, even if unopened! I will NEVER buy another Samsung product again. Buyer beware, their products get good reviews, but if anything happens, it is impossible to get parts or any customer satisfaction!!

Warning! Do not waste your money purchasing this colossal pile of garbage (5.8 cu. ft. Slide-In Induction Chef Collection Range NE58H9970WS). It rarely bakes/cooks evenly and it will frequently and rapidly overheat causing your food to burn and ultimately fry the electrical panel. Upon calling Samsung the only assistance they were able to provide was how to spend more of my money on their faulty product. Samsung takes zero responsibility for what is clearly a common issue with these oven ranges. As it stands my options are to spend $$ on a new electrical panel and the cost incurred on its installation and the additional fix-it repair to stop the oven from constantly overheating, or throw the darn thing away. I am really scared with the previous reviews. I bought from Sears a Samsung microwave model SMH187S. Then we got the SE message and the constant sequences of 5 annoying beeps. I took the power off even for days hoping the computer will reset... negative. I went to internet where some people claimed cleaning the terminals will do it… negative. This is absurd, a microwave less than 3 years. I have to bring back from my garage a Whirlpool microwave, a very basic and inexpensive model that I have used for more than 10 years and it works well. I am upset with myself letting the Sears salesman convince me that Samsung was the best choice. Where is the government? Where is the customer protection of other times? Where is the respect? It should be an official recall. I will start talking to Samsung and if they ignore me, I will start a movement for a class action against Samsung. The biggest class actions always have started with one person. I built a new house a little over two years ago. Between the kitchen and laundry appliances, I spent around $6500. Before the one-year warranty was up, the ice maker in the fridge crapped out. I had to get Best Buy to replace the unit as the Samsung repair people didnt want to travel out to where Im located (only about 35 miles). Then after the warranties expired, the washer has an issue - not too bad - a wire fell off the motor. Cost me $159. Now the dishwasher pump burn up - $440 to fix this. Repair guy told me that the pods I have been using, the plastic shell pieces apparently do not melt and pieces collect in a screen that the water goes through that cools the pump. The screen is apparently fine than most units. Sound like a design flaw. After buying all these appliances and having three issues already, one would think the manufacturer would stand behind their products. Nope, no help at all. No more Samsung products for me.

Samsung Dishwashers 5E Drain Code Error Flashing Delicate Light Applies to many models. After much research, this helped me. Dishwasher went through all cycles but stopped after trying to drain flashing delicate light. Check the drain line and sink drain for plugging and kinks. Make sure the drain pump is working and not noisy. If it is check the motor resistance with a meter replace if needed from underneath the unit Part # DD32-00005A.MY problem was the rubber check valve / check vane at the bottom of the unit was twisted Part # DD66-00045A and would allow water back into the dishwasher. Hence all the complaints about dirty dishes. A Philips screwdriver is all you need to disassemble the bottom portion of the pump assembly from INSIDE the dishwasher and replace it. It is located at the very bottom of the sump outlet and you pull it out with needle nose pliers. Check the pump assembly diagrams online.Remove the small cover panel + clean off the white ECS sensor Part # DD82-01118A. If you get an E1 error check the resistance with a meter and replace from underneath. Clean out all the washer nozzles they plug up with food particles and re-assemble. Run a sanitize cycle with vinegar as described on Samsung website. This worked for me but there are other problems that may cause this like a control board or relay. Good luck! Samsung Dishwasher dw7933lrasr/aa - We purchased this dishwasher in June 2013. It never worked properly from the time of purchase. There was always food on the dishes after washing and many of the items would have to be washed two or three times. We tried almost every detergent on the market all to no avail. Just recently October 2014 it stopped working all together. There is no water pumping up into unit, of course it is now out of warranty. I dont want to get this unit fixed since at its best it never worked very well. I would recommend that you avoid this companys dishwashers. This is in direct conflict with other products Ive purchased from them that work very well, most notably several large screen televisions.

Major repairs after one year. Then a year and a half later more major repairs. $90 diagnostic fee for a 5 minute visit. $100 case brake part plus another $60 for labor. Just purchased stove and microwave to match. Will return both and buy different brands! A new appliance should last more than 2 and a half years. Very disappointed. Will never purchase anything Samsung again!

We bought a Samsung French Door Stainless Fridge in Set of 2012, from Sears was delivered in October 2012, we did not bring into house till January 2013 due to construction. Since its been used the twin cool has froze food in fridge section, even set at 38. Display has gone dead and more. Multiple repairs with no results. Samsung does not do their own repairs and you wait weeks for repair. We have spent no less than 24 hours on the phone with no results! They say they will buy it back, we wont hold our breath! So be wise and do not buy that brand! Bad news!

My Samsung refrigerator is about 4 y/o and started leaking from the ice maker. It flooded part of my house. I contacted Samsung who said they would consider paying for damage and send someone out within 1-2 business days. On day 2 I received a call to set up an appointment. We set it for the next day in the morning. I took off work to do this and the next morning I received a call saying they would be here later in the afternoon. I explained they set up the appointment for am not pm and they didnt care. I explained I wouldnt be home and they didnt care. I would have to reschedule and go even longer without a refrigerator. This whole process has been a headache. The people have been less than nice at best and this just tops it off. I bought new Samsung refrigerator and washer/dryer set about the same time and the last 2 months have had issues with all of them. If I had known they wouldnt last past 4 years I wouldnt have bought them. It is very difficult to find a Samsung repairman in Houston. Nobody wants to work on them. I called several companies that wont touch them. They say they have too many issues fixing and getting parts for them. I will no longer purchase any Samsung product. Not worth the hassle or the money apparently.

I bought all new Samsung appliances for my kitchen remodel - 22cuft Family Flex Refrigerator w/ door computer, Samsung Washer/Dryer and a Samsung 5-Burner 5.8-cu ft Self-cleaning True Convection Freestanding Gas Range (Black Stainless Steel) Model # NX58M6630SG. Within two years the refrigerator computer has issues, the ice cube maker constantly froze solid and FINALLY Samsung replaced. Now the black stainless paint on my $1200 gas range is peeling off! Contacting Samsung and Im told thats cosmetic damage due to wear and tear.Samsung products are expensive but under the surface are inferior appliances that start top fail shortly after the 1 year warranty period. In the case of the peeling paint off the range, that isnt even covered during the warranty period. Stay away from Samsung. Do not spend good money on their inferior appliances. They are impossible to work with to resolve issues. I will not be letting this most recent defect go without lots of complaining with Lowes where they were purchased and with Samsung. I will be filing a lawsuit against Samsung for replacement cost of the gas range.

Purchased this dishwasher in Sept 2013 while building a house. It was installed in April 2014. In August I noticed that it was not draining and periodically the lights blinked when trying to run it and I couldnt make the choice I wanted. The Smart Auto or Delicate cycle. Also my dishes were not clean or dry. I finally called Samsung in October and was told it was out of warranty because of my purchase date but if I could prove when it was installed they would provide service. Instead I called Home Depot where I purchased it and they replaced it for me because Samsung is hard to deal with. Wonderful! In February problems started again only this time the machine would turn on by itself. And again I had dirty dishes and it wouldnt drain. Samsung arranged service this time. Service tech told me not to use a rinse agent because it makes the sensors sticky and that is why it wont drain properly. But, he didnt believe me when I said it would start by itself. It starts an hour after doing dishes and even in the middle of the night. I have it on video. Apparently we are crazy people. DO NOT EVER BUY A SAMSUNG PRODUCT!!! This one is being replaced as soon as I can make arrangements.

I will never buy another Samsung product again! The high-end dishwasher stopped working after three months! They gave us a run-around about the warranty. They tried to say it was an electrical issue and would not send a repair person out until we hired an electrician. The electrician we hired verified it was a bad control panel and not our fault. They finally sent out someone and they confirmed. They were supposed to come back in two weeks to install the new part. We have called over 20 times and Samsung does not return phone calls and claim they will help and then do not respond. They have horrible customer service. We were warned that they never stand behind their warranties, but we bought anyway. Big mistake on our part! We will never buy Samsung again! Please do not make the same mistake we did!

We purchased a Samsung dishwasher 2 years ago. Within 2 months it broke down and had to fight for a replacement. Last week the second one broke down and Samsung said it is out of warranty and they would not help in any way. We had to have it repaired at a cost of over $300.00. Bad customer service and terrible appliances. I have since heard this complaint from other people that unfortunately purchased a Samsung appliance. Never again.

Home Depot would not do a thing about it. They told us to call Samsung. I called their customer service and have had nothing but a run around on the unit. Weve been in this house since November 1998. Our previous Kenmore was working fine when we decided to remodel with all-stainless steel kitchen appliances. This evening (10/20/2013), as we were preparing dinner, we were melting butter. The first time, the time wasnt set long enough. When we attempted to continue melting the butter, the SE error code appeared. Nothing I did would return the unit to normal. This is ridiculous to pay a premium for a so-called top-of-the-line appliance and it lasts approximately two years.Just this past week, we had to have out Samsung dishwasher serviced because debris had jammed the impeller preventing the wash pump from operating. I was told by the repair tech that the GE Pot Scrubber (that was also working fine) would have ground discharged the debris but dishes have to be completely pre-rinsed of all food debris prior to being loaded into a Samsung dishwasher to prevent eventual clogging of the impeller. I wont get into the ridiculous cost of 400-gallon water filters for Samsung refrigerators.

Purchased a brand new Samsung dishwasher in November 2010. Immediately we had some type of electrical problems. Every time we went to use the washer we had to reset the breaker to get it to turn on. The electrical panel was eventually replaced after waiting months for the part. The same thing continued so the entire dishwasher was replaced in June, 2011. In October, we experienced our first error code message related to drainage. Found to be debris blocking the drain hose. In December had the upper rack bracket break loose. Weeks later had the same drainage error code appeared again. Technician found the plastic bracket pieces in the pump clogging the drain. Bracket was replaced but eventually broke again and became lodged in pump, requiring another service call. About six months ago a new error code appeared approx halfway through the cycle. Technician advised that it pertained to a water level issue. It was one of three things - the panel, the sensor or the level gauge. To repair could be costly as it would be hit or miss. We contacted Samsung and advised them of the problem. At first we were dealing with a woman who appeared very nice (by email). We eventually spoke by phone to a gentleman who just stated that they would only work on the dishwasher if it was still under the one year warranty. Although the warranty was technically up I questioned the fact that two units malfunctioned so obviously it was a manufacturers problems and the warranty should be voided... Well it is now July 2013 and Samsung has still not said, We stand by our products so we will replace the dishwasher..... Hey Samsung...... stick to phones. Leave the appliances to the experts.

Weve had our Samsung microwave for almost 3 years and we dont usually use it as wed rather use gas to cook or heat food than use the microwave. So far, its okay and its working for its function although the self-cleaning feature does not work well. The manual that comes along with it says the self-cleaning feature can help eliminate the odor but it doesnt seem to be working. We have to use conventional methods like using baking soda to eliminate odor trapped in the microwave... I wont really recommend Samsung microwaves if you have other and better choices.

The refrigerator worked okay for the first year after that it stopped working at least 6 times. I am so disgusted with Samsung. If I had the resources I would ship it back to their headquarters. Let me add my voice to the other dissatisfied owners of a Samsung refrigerator. The ** ice maker freezes up about once a week. I have to use a hair dryer to thaw out the ice which is frozen in the rear of the icemaker. From the reviews here, I can see that this is a common problem with Samsung icemakers. I was in a Home Depot store recently and Samsung is still using the same design of icemaker. I hope people read the reviews written here and look to other companies. DO NOT PURCHASE A SAMSUNG!! We bought a DD68-00143A_MES about 6 months ago. Since day one we noticed that it simply did not work as well as our old one (was not a Samsung) we had for over 10 years. At first I thought we were just not loading the dishes correctly because they were not clean. So for several weeks we tried to move dishes all over the place and nothing helped. Then we thought maybe it was the dishwasher detergent (even though we had used it for years with no problems, I thought maybe they changed the formula without us knowing it) so we tried all kinds of detergents and nothing helped! So as many of you that have complaints about the washer being the worst ever, I tend to agree. Other things we have noticed is there is this smell that comes from it. At first I thought it was our hard water (we are on rural water) but then I read some other peoples comments and see its not only us that noticed it. We have also noticed that many dishes are stained with something and we cannot remove the stain no matter how we try! Another thing is that I do not think the person that designed (its a laugh to even think someone would really use the word designed) the racks to hold the dishes has ever washed a dish in their life! NOTHING FITS! Its a chore to try and find places to put the dishes to wash them. One last thing. As like most of you we have come to the same conclusion that we will never buy Samsung again! I am however a little different than most of you. I own a lot of rental properties, and I bet you can guess the type of dishwasher that will NEVER BE PUT IN MY HOUSE OR MY RENTAL PROPERTIES! EVER!

The unit was manufactured (read, assembled, as the compressor is made in Korea) in Mexico on Jan 2010. We purchased in March 2010 - over the course of these 4 years, weve had several times when the unit stopped cooling. This last time it has stopped all together. Repairman came to look and told me the compressor isnt working. I asked how much to fix and he said good luck finding someone to do the work as the copper has to be cut, the refrigerant has to be captured, new compressor installed, new solder onto the coils and recharge the coolant. At a minimum he said wed be looking at $400 in labor alone and the new compressor costs $250. Oh and thats only a guess because the problem could be within the electrical system but he (the repairman) couldnt test the computers that control the unit. The thing that totally gets me, as others here have posted, is that older units (which ours is out in the garage and still working like a champ even though for the past five years its survived sub zero winters while still running) is that the new unit is already failing, the cost for repair we might as well buy a new unit and that the manufacturer only has a 12-month warranty - complete crap. I used the online tool to get a repair referral from off of Samsungs website - no call back, no email, nothing. I called and left voice mail to the same, referred to repair shop and still no call back.
