We bought new home in September 2014, had Home Warranty. We have had someone out to look at our dishwasher 5 times. They keep fixing things on it and just today they brought a new part and now says it needs another. We had a cooktop stove also that needed fixed. The appliances are only a couple years old if that. I will never recommend Samsung to anyone. We also have the fridge, nothing wrong with it yet! We will out buying a new dishwasher, NOT SAMSUNG!

I have had issues with my products after the first year! How does this happen after spending so much on the products. I have called several times for repairs to be made, they are fixed, but before the month is out, I am calling for something totally different. I would like my refrigerator replaced as I have had the most problems with that. What can I do, as I have a warranty until November 2019 but the company where I purchased the products are out of business, HHGREGG?

I purchased side-by-side model #RS263TDWP/XAA01 in July of 2013 for $1379 from Sears. We have been quite happy with it until recently when the upper shelves were not getting cold (70 degree temp reading; the bottom at 46-55 degrees). There was some recent unusual noises in the fridge prior but subsided; phone tech suggested leveling but it is level. The doors close and are aligned properly. That was not the problem.Tech was sent to service the refrigerator and after electronically testing the unit announced it was the defrost sensor that was out (DA32-00006W). Obviously we had to replace- BUT NOT COVERED!!! The 5 year warranty is on the sealed refrigeration unit only not including the electronics needed to operate. REALLY!!?? Samsung is an electronic based company and this happens? After 1.5 years, an electronic part goes out and I have to pay for this $28 part and $220 labor!!? And to make matters worse, the tech advised this part will last longer than the original one that was installed planned obsolescence?! How long is this part going to last? I have a 20 year old Kenmore that has never had a service call!I have purchased smaller Samsung electronics with no issues but really am concerned about this appliance and any other major appliance that I will be in the market for in the future. After 3 emails explaining this situation, I recd a Thank You and Hope we helped...no help only offers of future advertisements. After 40 minutes holding on the phone, did talk to a nice agent who noted my frustrations...only to recv another email the next day - that it is not covered. No Samsung appliances for me!

Bought a Samsung range oven and the display has gone. Its only been 13 months. I phoned them and they said they cant do anything because it is out of warranty for 1 month. Never buy this lousy piece of junk, I dont know how to use my stove without a display. Its beyond crazy. I will never, never buy anything from them again and will tell all the people I can what a piece of crap this is.

Bought this Samsung refrigerator (Rf263beaesr) because we thought Samsung was always high quality. So wrong, had this for 3 years, it was trouble free for one year, after that, problems with the icemaker, ice building up inside, water leaking into the fridge, ice building up around the fan, needing to empty refrigerator, turn off, and totally defrost, dont waste your money. Theyre pieces of junk. Im so mad, retailers should not sell Samsung refrigerators. I have a GE fridge in my garage, bought it 25 years ago, for $400.00. Still works perfect. Thats where we put our food when we have to thaw out the Samsung every couple of weeks. RETAILERS... Stop selling Samsung refrigerators, and ripping off customers. It makes you look bad!

If I could give zero stars, I would. Avoid this company and their dishwashers at all costs. The way they treat their customers is criminal. Here is my experience: On June 20, 2015 we purchased a dishwasher model DW80F600UTS/AA at Best Buy. On November 10, 2015 the dishwasher stopped working and we contacted Samsung and they advised a service technician had to be dispatched to repair. On November 20, 2015 a technician came out to our residence and informed us that the board had to be replaced. On February 25, 2016 the dishwasher stopped working again. We contacted Samsung and they were not able to find a service technician to replace the board. Samsung arranged to have the dishwasher exchanged for a new dishwasher at Best Buy. We received the new dishwasher (same model) on March 11, 2016.On February 1, 2017 the new dishwasher stopped working giving the same error as the first model. We generated a warranty service request. In this work ticket I requested that since we are repeatedly getting the same error with two separate dishwashers that we be refunded full purchase price of original dishwasher due to the problems with this dishwasher model. To keep replacing the boards or dishwasher every 3-11 months and the time it takes to get any resolution to our service issue is inconvenient. When the customer service representative called on February 2, 2017 I reiterated our position and requested to speak with a supervisor. On February 13, 2017 a supervisor called and assured us they could have the dishwasher repaired on February 17, 2017.On February 16, 2017 a call was received from an appliance repair company. I discussed the issue with the dishwasher and they said they would speak to a Samsung representative. I never back from this company. On February 27, 2017 I wrote a letter to the BBB regarding my customer service issue. The next day I was contacted by Samsung who promised I would have service on my dishwasher immediately. On March 9, 2017 Samsung contacted me regarding my satisfaction on the repair to my dishwasher. I informed them that it didnt happen as whoever they contacted to perform the repair never contacted me. I advised this person that I wanted to speak to a supervisor immediately.I havent been contacted yet, and based on my experience with this company, I doubt I ever will. Do yourself a favor and buy another brand. Just look at the length of time it takes them to respond to my service requests. Its been over a month now and still have a broken dishwasher. What company thinks that is acceptable? Samsung does.

Our new Samsung appliances were installed in mid February. I immediately noticed that my WaterWall dishwasher was hard to load. Prongs are short and awkward. Glasses fall over. It didnt wash dishes as well as my $500 old Whirlpool. I paid almost a grand for this one in hopes of some kind of dish washing miracle. Now it has a leak one month later. Glad I have tile flooring instead of wood. I have called Lowe’s to see what to do. Havent heard back yet. From reading other reviews, it looks like I am not fooling with this, yet I am going to return all my Samsung appliances. My mother told me to buy Whirlpool. I should have listened.

DMT300RFW - This appliance was purchased in 2010 from Future Shop in Saskatoon. Problems were experienced very quickly and our efforts for assistance from Future Shop or Samsung were a waste of time. In 2012 the dishwasher would only run on Heavy Duty and most often it has to restarted in order to start the cycle. At the present time, often it takes restarting four to five times before it will go into the cycle. We will replace it for certain with a different brand.

I bought a beautiful Samsung refrigerator in July. It has water/ice on the door and a second climate drawer. Laid out perfectly - plenty of storage. In August, we noticed it was leaking water under the filter so we replaced the filter and it didnt improve. We turned off the water to the fridge and the leak continued. We called a repairman, through Samsung, and waited a couple of days for him to come. He diagnosed a broken valve and had to order a replacement part that he thought would take 8-10 days. When I hadnt heard back in 3 weeks, I called the repair company and they said the part was back ordered. They suggested I contact Samsung to get an estimated delivery time. Thus began 6 weeks of me contacting Samsung, spending hours on the phone, asking the same question, repeating the same story to every person I spoke with. Finally, I could stand it no longer and begged to be escalated. I finally found out there was no estimated time - no one knew if this part would ever be available. In the meantime, I have to daily mop up the water that comes out and floods under the produce bins; the second drawer is not usable because the water fills it and freezes. It ruins any food packaging. The water also spills out the drawers onto the floors and my hardwood floors are now damaged. I was escalated to Jaz. What a disappointment. She ignored my calls for days and only finally tried to speak with me when I hit 0 from her voice mail and begged another rep to help me. This lady definitely needs additional training in handling angry customers. She ultimately offered to swap the fridge, a frustrating process because we have a small opening and in your newer model of this fridge, youve added side vents that arent included in the specs and wont fit the opening. We finally came to a solution on October 31 and she 100% guaranteed that the new fridge would arrive on November 14 at the latest. On November 17th, I called at the end of the day to say I still hadnt received the fridge, not that I was surprised at this point. She committed to getting back to me once she found out where it was. She left me a message at noon the following day to say that the fridge was with a local delivery company and she would call back when she had a time estimate. I called again today, November 19, and left another message. Its been almost 3 months since I could use my fridge properly. I still have to mop up the leaking water and theres a whole section of the fridge I cant even put food in, not to mention no ice or water. She did offer me $150 as repayment for food spoilage, but I have not seen hide nor hair of that either. This is the WORST experience Ive ever had with an electronics manufacturer and I still have no idea when it will be resolved.

I purchased this microwave (M/W) Microwave Model SMH9187ST/XAA a little over three years ago. First, after a few months of use the turntable stopped working. I could fix it myself with not much expense. Thanks to Youtube. Then after a few months the handle broke. By this time the M/W was over one year old. So, I called the customer service. Since it was already a few weeks over one year, they refused to take care of it. I then fixed it myself. The next was the Touch Panel which stopped working. I called Samsung Tech support who again refused to take care of the problem. So, I purchased the Touch Panel and fixed it again. Now the inside light stays on 24/7 and fan comes on the moment door is closed. Only way to stop it from running is unplug every time I am done using the M/W. Again, I called Samsung. As at least some of you have experienced, it takes minimum 30 minutes for someone to pick up your phone. Again, they refused to take care of the problem and said a service tech would call me to set up an appointment at my cost. Since then I called over 7 times in the past two weeks (I kept a log), nobody called back. Finally after a testy conversation, I asked them to give me their service techs number and I called them myself to set up an appointment. Now waiting for the service tech to show up and give me the dreaded figure for repair or pay the service charge. Will NEVER buy Samsung appliance again. BTW: My Stainless Steel Fridge which I bought at the same time also started giving problems after a year, no solutions from Samsung on that too.

1st problem: The refrigerator froze in the back and stopped cooling altogether. WE do not have a water attachment to it, thank goodness, because that would probably be even more of a nightmare. 2nd problem: Water leaks right below the vegetable tray. Where the water comes from is unknown. Getting it fixed has been impossible. Samsung does not stand by its products. WE bought this at Home Depot, which offers no support whatsoever. Ive filed a complaint with Home Depot, but no satisfaction. I am sure I will no longer buy anything other than nails and electrical tape at Home Depot from this point forward. Do NOT BUY Samsung. Do not buy major appliances at Home Depot. You will regret it. I have a freezer and an old fridge downstairs that are over 10 years old, not a problem. The Samsung is only 3-4 years old.

RFG237AARS purchases 2/2013. I have a Samsung Range and Dishwasher and havent had any issues with those appliances, but this refrigerator is definitely a lemon. There are quite a few Youtubers out there showing the icing problem. They are chiseling ice blocks off the fridge. The fridge starts making an annoying sound which happens to be the twin cooling fan system hitting the ice. Thats not right. Its disappointing that Samsung is not addressing the issue. I have been able to care for mine periodically and unthaw it from time to time, but its definitely a feature Samsung isnt being upfront about. I’m sure at some point the fan will break because of the issue. I can only imagine what expenses they would try to push onto the consumer(me), and given the age of the refrigerator it isnt worth a $500 repair bill. It doesnt sound like people are having much luck with repair(s) either. Some report multiple repairs yet they still have a dud afterwards.

My Samsung refrigerator had the same icemaker issues the first year & then the refrigerator would only cool to 54 degrees right at the end of year 1. I called an approved service technician who got on the phone with Samsung after examining the unit. It was determined that the refrigerator could not be repaired & would have to be replaced. Apparently Samsung used butane as an alternative to freon in my unit & it is not being successful. Okay -- that was 6 weeks ago! I have been through many phone calls, submitted the required paperwork, & no one has cared that I have not had a fridge for 6 wks! I have been unable to get help from the store where I bought the fridge either. Samsung is mailed me a reimbursement check for the cost of the fridge, minus delivery & tax. I had to throw away $300 worth of food.So because of Samsungs defective refrigerator, I have had to pay for 3 service visits, $300 worth of lost food, & will have to pay tax & delivery fees plus more for a newer model of refrigerator. SERIOUSLY?! Its not my fault & it has cost me about $1,000.00! By the time I get the reimbursement check & buy a new fridge, I will have gone 8 weeks without a fridge! Im a single mom & currently unemployed, so this is especially painful right now. Unfortunately, I also have a Samsung TV, washer & dryer, all of which I have enjoyed, but now sure hope I dont have a problem with! I have NEVER had a company treat me so poorly.

We purchased a Samsung convection oven in 2013. Weve had numerous issues with it, including easily scratched cooktop surface, uneven heating both in the oven and the burner elements, the convection motor not working consistently, touch pad controls that were difficult to adjust. This year whilst roasting our Thanksgiving turkey, the convection fan was working, however, half way through roasting the turkey, the oven lit up with a blue light and sparks were flying everywhere. We purchased our very expensive Samsung fridge, French doors, freezer on the bottom. March of 2017. After 6 months we had issues with the drawers and shelves cracking and breaking. Not only are the parts cheaply made but almost a $1000 in warranty calls with Lowes has been spent on trying to fix the ice maker. It is a vicious cycle. The entire thing freezes over, we have to defrost it then wait for the entire unit to reset. When we DO have ice, the ice doesnt Staub cold, water leaks all over the inside and outside of the fridge and into the floor. We are so sick of this issue. Samsung RF28HFEDTBC/AA Refrigerator - Samsung refused to post my comments citing it violated comment guidelines. This a dual ice maker refrigerator, one in the upper compartment with external dispensing and one in the lower freezer compartment with a tray. I called Samsung Service with one complaint: the upper ice maker dispenses ground up white ice and snow when cubed is selected (However, a second issue was discovered by technician - see below).Service told me several times that white ice is considered normal because upper dispenser freezes so fast and traps air and that during dispensing occasionally two cubes may be smashed together and broken. I requested warranty service because this was not occasional crushed ice but nearly half was crushed and a lot of snow came with the ice. Service technician repeated the mantra on the white ice and occasional crushing but also applied sealer on the ice maker to reduce air infiltration from refrigerator compartment. It has been more than a week since and nothing has changed. The upper ice maker still dispenses crushed white ice and snow. I can only assume this is normal for Samsung...this has never been the case with other front ice dispensing refrigerators I have owned.Second issue discovered by technician. The lower drawer was not extending fully making unloading and loading the lower freezer very difficult. Installers did not catch it and I thought it was normal. The technician jerked the drawer to the side and pulled it out very hard and now it opens about twice as far as it did. Much better. He said this was a common problem due to drawer alignment. Aside from the upper ice maker white ice and snow now the refrigerator works fine. I tried to be honest and forthright and gave it an average rating due to what I consider to be a fundamental design shortcoming and Samsung refused to post on their comment site.

I purchased a New Samsung RS261 refrigerator and just out of warranty, the ice maker broke. I am pretty good at repairs and research so after two days with online Samsung support, they recommended to call for service. I could not find anything online to help myself take care of the problem, so I called a local company that I have used in the past. I could not use this company because you have to be a special Samsung repair service, which Samsung only gave me two companies to choose from. They sent out the email service request, which after days, I had no response so I called. I called on a Thursday to that company and received a message that they were closed for the next 5 days for Labor Day. I have never heard of a company that is service-orientated close that many days. I then called the second company, which came out the following Thursday. I had given the information for what was wrong and they brought out the wrong part and needed to order the new one. Two weeks later, they came out and fixed the problem with a total work time of 20 minutes combined for both stops and $230.00 later, which was a good portion for what I paid for the fridge. After I called Samsung and complained about the first company, they referred me to the second. I still received a call three weeks after the incident that a tech from the first company was at my door to look at the refrigerator. What? Needless to say, I will not purchase another Samsung knowing that I dont have a choice to go with a service center of my choosing. My opinion: choose a product that can be serviced by any appliance center of your choosing.

The repair guy worked on it for about 1 hour and advises he would come back to see if the refrigerator temp would go down as it had been at 48, spoiling all things in the refrigerator. The repair came back around 3 and advises that he will have to call warranty because the refrigerator had to be replaced because it cant be repaired in USA and to allow 48 hours for the report to show since it was on a Friday, and was given a 700 which was to be a Urgent code #. We called to just make sure every had our information on 3/6/15.We received several calls, there we faxed and emailed receipts of purchase and was told to check back on Monday the 9th. My husband spoke to 7 different people and received 4 different ticket #s from 3/9 to 3/11. When 3 of the persons stated we would receive a refund and that someone would call back with details after verify proof of purchase 3 times. My husband called around 6 pm central time and spoke to another rep from Samsung who stated she didnt see a refund, she need to do another verification and that after reviewing the account, because we didnt buy it from a authorized dealer, they cant honor anything very RUDELY. We are without a Refrigerator and now you tell us this over a year or more, they have known who and where to purchase the refrigerator. Everything appliance in our home is Samsung, never again. I will be looking to inquire about starting a CLASS ACTION suit.

I bought a microwave, dishwasher, and range in December 2011 and have had many problems with all three appliances. The range elements do not heat evenly. The dishwasher after 9 months of calls to Samsung, they finally refunded my money (pump issues). The microwave (model number SMH9187B) started flashing 5E code 1 month before the warranty was up. It took 6 months for them to replace the micro board and now the same problem. I called and was told they have had no complaints about the micro board being affected by moisture. After reading all the complaints here, I am calling again tomorrow. I will document every call and add it to the 6 pages of notes I have already accumulated. Dealing with Samsung customer service is a joke. I will update!

Refrigerator works fine. Water filter cartridge needs to be changed every 6 months. Thats okay too. But SAMSUNG refuses to provide information on what to do to recycle the used filter cartridge. I dont want to reuse it; I just dont want to add more plastic to landfills. Some other refrigerator manufacturers tell you how to empty used cartridges and recycle the plastic. SAMSUNG wont. I tried online search: no usable results. I tried online chat: they connected me to a Printer Expert for crying out loud! I called: they told me the cartridge cannot be recycled and they cannot reveal what plastic it is made of. If you care about the environment, do not buy SAMSUNG until they change this policy.

This little used microwave stopped functioning. The display reads SE. I called Samsung and was told it was covered as a known issue; an appliance repair company was assigned to fix it. The repair company called, they had received an email from Samsung regarding my washing machine! I told them it was a microwave. They said call Samsung back and get the correct info sent to them. I called Samsung. In our conversation I was unable to give them the serial no. It is placed on the inside of the microwave where you clean and subsequently had been scrubbed off. Samsung said that voids the warranty. They will not cover the microwave. Incompetent to place a sticker on an inside wall. I emailed the sales receipt to no avail. I do not recommend buying Samsung microwaves. I will never buy Samsung again.

I purchased a gas range on 1/1/2019 and paid $721 for it and that does not include the delivery, install and 3 year extended warranty. I have had a problem obtaining proper temperature since beginning. A service person came out and said there was nothing he could do and I could just change the temperature on my own. I believe the oven bake temp is correct after using the instructions in manual, but the convection oven temp is still about 25-50 degrees off. There is no way to adjust that. I filed another complaint after serviceman and just got a call from Samsung that it is my fault and there is nothing they can do. I got this stove mainly because it was a Samsung and it has a convection bake feature. Now I will not be able to use convection unless I want burnt or undercooked food. I am so angry. I have a Samsung phone, Samsung washer and dryer and a Samsung microwave. Never again. I will never buy Samsung nor will I ever recommend anyone else I know to make the same mistake.

We have had problems w/ the Samsung DW80F60OUTS dishwasher from its installation from Home Depot to its operation. Previous problems involved Samsung not installing the proper electronics in the door - it had 2 different types of the electronic programs; the door seals leaked; it did not clean the dishes. The current problem is that the water entry or draining does not perform. The Smart Auto light is flashing. The soap dispenser does not open. Dishes from the last operation are dirty. Called the local SS authorized repair company which will come out and properly repair this poor excuse for a dishwasher. If it had not cost so much I would give it to the monthly large item pick up for the dump. Purchased in July 2015; we do not like it at all. Glad we bought the extra repair service contract which takes effect after the SS warranty. Should have bought a Whirlpool or GE dishwasher.

I contacted Samsung Customer Service about an issue with staining on the inside of the glass on our two month old slide in range. I was told that the issue was not covered by the warranty. That it was normal for air, steam and possible grease particles to flow through the vent above the glass. I was told that it should accumulate on the inside of the glass. I was told that it could be cleaned by a service technician at my expense. I told Samsung if this was a continual problem that it was a design defect. I did not have this problem with either a GE or Frigidaire Range. I was assigned a ticket number. They called a service center in Myrtle Beach. The Service Center refused to come and service the stove even though I would be paying for a service call and the repair. Samsung reassigned this repair to another Service Center. They too refused to make the service call. Samsung has assigned this to a third Service Center. I have not heard from them as of today. If they also refuse to make the repair I have advised Samsung they need to find another approach to solving this problem.Updated on 06/26/2015This is an update on our Samsung range. First the good points: It is nice looking. It functions as intended, that is you can cook on the stove top, you can bake, roast or broil. The bad points: While the self cleaning feature works, it discolored and stained the glass in the oven door. Samsungs position is that is a cosmetic issue and not covered by the warranty. If I want to get rid of the stains I would need to get one of their service contractors to come out, take the door apart and clean the glass. Another option would be to replace the door. The door is poorly designed. It draws air through the grill on the front and exhausts the air through the back. I dont know of any other slide range that does that. We have own two others - a Frigidaire and a GE. Neither had this problem during cleaning.I contacted the service department at Samsung. They were pleasant and helpful in setting up an appointment to clean the glass at my expense. The problem was that the service contractors did not want to clean the glass. Their concern was possible breakage of the glass, which they would have to replace. They also claimed that they could not assure me that the glass would fit tightly once removed. Samsung went through four (4) service contractors. Not one of them wanted to clean the glass. Two of them were willing to replace the door at my expense. The cost of which made it more appealing to buy a new stove. It would not be a Samsung, believe me.

We have had to have our dishwasher serviced 3 times. Each time they did the same exact thing. This last time, they told me it was fixed. As I was getting ready to leave my house, I heard a weird noise. So I walked over to the dishwasher, the door was slightly open, and the dishwasher had turned on all by itself. I hit the power button and it turned off for a second and turned back on. I could not get it to power off. I had to flip the breaker to this equipment. I have had to miss 3 days of work, they tell me AFTER at least a total of 5-6 hours of being on hold, or calling, that this is an extended warranty issue. They have the worst customer experience. This machine is less than 18 months old and has been serviced 3 time and still NOT working. I would highly recommend to anyone in the market for an appliance to stay clear of Samsung, unless you are wanting to spend many days frustrated. This is a still ongoing issue and I have zero confidence that they will actually fix it for me.

Our family purchased a Samsung French Door refrigerator (RFF266-AEPN) in fall 2016. It was about $1,600 and looks nice. In February 2018 (after 12 months - when the warranty expired), we heard random beeping noises in the afternoon and evenings with the freezer temperature panel fluctuating wildly from -8F to 2F. I had a bad feeling when two high-quality appliance repair companies both refused to diagnose or fix ANY Samsung refrigerators. The Sears Appliance Service Company said the freezer fan was broken and that the replacement part was $650 in addition to a service installation fee ($150). So, now Im stuck with purchasing a brand new refrigerator in less than 2 years! Beware if you purchase a Samsung refrigerator. Im never going to buy a Samsung-brand refrigerator again.

We purchased Samsung Model RS277AC April 2010 for $1500.00. July 2014 the bottom freezer drawer was hard to pull out and we realized it was stuck by a build up of ice under it. Kept getting more and more ice so we called Samsung they recommended we call Consolidated Electronics on September 24, 2014. Service man told us he knew what the problem was when we told him about the bottom drawer frozen to bottom. Charged $149.00 for a 5 minute visit. He would have to order the heater element and it would cost $30. He said that the heater element touches the inside of the back panel and this will happen again because of a design flaw with the back panel and Samsung has corrected it on the new models! Came back with the heater and said did not need it and defrosted the freezer, put it back together and charged us another $45.00 and within three hours there was a build up of ice in the bottom of the freezer so we cannot use the drawer for storage. NEVER purchase a Samsung appliance!

I spent $2200 on a Samsung Refrigerator (model RF4287HAPB). As Im reading, I see the model number doesnt matter - they are all junk. Id like to submit my experience. Today is 9/6/12. I bought my refrigerator on 9/20/11. On 8/20/12, the screen started reading an error code. I called Samsung, who sent out a repair person. The repair person stated it was from the freezer. Its irreparable because the wires where the malfunction occurred are in a non-removable part of the unit, and therefore, the code is permanently affixed. I cannot operate what temperature setting, or whether I want cubed or crushed ice.In other words, once a part goes, it affects the whole unit. My part was a freezer sensor affixed with small plastic clips (which a consumer would not know since its not easily seen). Somehow, it became dislodged and the wires were cut, thus, making the unit irreparable. My spouse is an engineer who has designed some items that most people are aware of and rely on a daily basis. I explained the design to him and his comments were that this was a highly flawed design and structure. The refrigerator is under warranty, still. I am replacing it with a better model (i.e., not Samsung). I purchased the unit at Sears and they are replacing it with the cost of a new refrigerator, as to what I paid for the original unit. Im glad I purchased there since it appears that Lowes and Home Depot do not honor their customers. I can purchase another brand and not Samsung. I wish I had done my homework before I made this purchase. Additionally, Id like to add, there is no way to effectively clean the shelves and side doors since it has a multitude of parts and they do not come apart. So, it allows bacterial growth from water and spills. I have kept this refrigerator clean and I dont have that problem. But I can see how it would occur since there are cracks and crevices that water and spills can seep and there is no way to effectively dry them since its impossible to get any apparatus down there, or you risk breaking it all together.

Samsung is giving me the royal run-around in trying to: * get a 3rd new replacement refrigerator. I bought a 5-year warranty from Home Depot, where I originally bought this refrigerator on 7/15/13; it arrived damaged out of the box; the 2nd refrigerator, which is sitting in my kitchen, wont make ice and the temp in the fridge doesnt get above 54.6 (so all food has spoiled!)* get my current fridge repaired -- TO NO AVAIL! I have called and spoken with 6 different Samsung reps -- one told me parts were on order from Via Appliance; another said well have to refund your money for the fridge but wont refund my $ for the 5-year warranty (I have to deal w/ Home Depot for that!), and yet another said they couldnt help me -- I have to contact their external affairs dept. but refused to give me a phone number. It seems the ONLY appliance repair company that Samsung has under contract in Northern Virginia is so backed up with Samsung refrigerator repairs from customers that theyre refusing to take new service requests from Samsung. There seem to be so many problems with these refrigerators that appliance repair shops are REFUSING to repair them -- even when NEW and even when THEYRE under contract with Samsung. Unbelievable!!! We called Samsung the next day and they told us that we needed a receipt to get reimbursed. Brand new home, just built, so we had to ask builder for info. Turns out he purchased it at Home Depot who does not participate in the Samsung replacement program. They will reimburse the cost of the unit and no more; no removal or installation fee unless we have proof we paid to get it installed. So now my builder needs to invoice himself for the installation so I can get someone to remove it and install an over the range hood in its place. Even GE microwaves have reported fires and failures. We called again and again, got another idiot reading off another card that could not give any usable information, and the best they could do is set us up with a generic all-brand appliance repair private contractor whom, after checking the c/os against him, sounded shady.I cancelled the call and took a bullet with Sears $275 plus tax $294 on top of the ton of money this hunk of Asian crap cost me (the contractor grade American fridge I got with the townhouse was working fine for 28 years until I unplugged it the day this crap came into my house). So much for Asian technology, and do not expect any red carpet treatment from Samsung CSRs!!!!! I am so sorry I bought this!!! And will never call Samsung again. We purchased a Samsung refrigerator model RF28HFEDTSR/AA - what a mistake!
We purchased a Samsung refrigerator model RF28HFEDTSR/AA - what a mistake! Like other consumers, we have had terrible problems with it - problems that are typical and that Samsung does not stand behind. This particular model has an ice maker in the freezer (bottom drawer) and an ice maker in the top (refrigerator door location) where the ice and water are dispensed. The top ice maker freezes up and has to be thawed out constantly and water drips out of the dispenser, itself. This is a common problem and a class action lawsuit has been filed - as Samsung has refused to take responsibility and address the well-known issues! In addition, the plastic shelves crack - for no reason - obviously a defect in the type of plastic that is used in manufacturing the shelves. This is another problem that has been frequently noted by consumers - yet, Samsung refuses to take responsibility. I have many Samsung products in my house - cell phones, televisions, sound bars, etc. I am very disappointed in this refrigerator, and especially in the lack of customer service by Samsung. I will think long and hard before I purchase any other Samsung products. When we first began having the freezing problem, I read on the internet how many others were having the same issue. I contacted Samsung and got nowhere at all. After being tired of constantly having to take a hair dryer and chip away the ice - I called a service to fix it - and they said there really was no fix. I had someone look at it today - and all they could do was what I had been doing - and charged me $80. They did find out that Samsung had managed to develop a fix for the problem and it would cost me between 400 and 600 dollars to do it. The service man and I both agreed that I might as well purchase a new refrigerator. This one is only 3 years old! It began having issues - of course - after the warranty period had ended. Please tell everyone not to buy Samsung appliances!

I bought our 4-door refrigerator in 12/11. About a month later, the right door bins started falling out. I called Samsung directly and ordered replacements. No problem. I was told that the order hadnt been placed so I ordered them again. I still hadnt received them after another 3-4 weeks, so I called them again. I was told that they were ordered but they didnt know where they were? She placed the order again. Another month passed and I hadnt received them yet, so I called and asked to speak to their customer service department. The gentleman assured me that they were backordered (never heard that before) and that they were now in stock and he would ship them immediately. I called the following week to make sure that they had been sent. Some lady assured me that they were shipped on the 15th of September. That was September 15, 2011, today is 9/29/11. I havent received them yet so I called and asked for customer service again. This time, I got their executive customer service rep. I was told that their records showed I had received some bins in early July of 2011. No record of my corrected order. I explained to her that those were the wrong bins and that I had made several calls after that, reordering the correct bins. She just didnt know what happened but assured me that she was looking in to it. I had explained everything to her and then she asked me for my email address and said she would send me one regarding the circumstances. I asked her for a direct call instead and she said she could not make out going calls? That was this morning. Still no email. I called Sears, explained to them what had been going on. They said they had my warranty info and would send them out immediately. He repeated the description to me 3 times so there are no mistakes. He gave me his full name and direct number too. We always buy Sears products and I dont know why we bought the Samsung. Ill never do it again. They dont support their product in anyway. The only reason I gave it one star is because of the size. We have had a leak in the water everytime you use the crushed ice--cannot get it to stop, now the water works and no ice---I notice this is an ongoing problem with this Samsung RF23HCEDBS/AA Bottom Freezer. I have them coming out to fix this and it is 2 years old so it is out of warranty. I have seen that it may cost up to $600.00 to repair this, well we paid over $2,000 for this fridge and if it costs me that much I will dump it and buy a new one but never again a Samsung! This is very frustrating and when I tell them that this is an ongoing issue based on the reviews all they say from whatever country they are answering from thank you sir. Must be the first thing they teach them in India answering the phone!

The refrigerator crispers have water in them after a defrost cycle. I was told by the factory that it is just out of warranty. I researched the same problem other people had so I could try to fix the problem. I removed the back cover and installed a short wire into the drain and wrapped it around the defrost heater because the drain line is icing up but a month or so later the same problem is happening again. Samsung refrigerators are junk and there should be a recall because this is a factory defect.

I gave it two stars because it usually works, just not the quality I expected for $1200, and its very difficult to get information from Samsung, even then, its inaccurate. Our front Burner lights poorly, if at all, Rubber bumpers on the bottom of the grates disintegrate, oven takes forever to heat, and now, the clock resets at random and no ones been able to fix it.

Samsung refrigerator model #RS275ACWP purchased in December 2008: By 2012 it developed a leak at the freezers backplane. The leak caused the bottom drawer to seize up. Samsung recommended solution was to replace the backplane at a cost of hundreds of dollars. A handyman resealed the original backplane at a considerably lower cost. By 2013 the ice maker failed by producing too much ice. The ice box became locked up and water spilled into the interior, causing still more ice on the freezer shelves. The water even dribbles out of the ice shoot. The Samsung authorized technician stated that three parts need to be replaced at a cost of $450.

My problem is like everyone else!!! My RF217 is less than 2 years old when drain froze up wrecking the fan!!! Having been in the appliance business for over 30 years, I have never saw such a poorly designed system!!! After defrosting and installing a new fan, it worked for a couple of months when it started leaking into the crisper drawers telling me the drain was already frozen!!! I made a heater out of a copper wire and thought I had it fixed. But three months later, same old crap!!! Samsung knows of this problem but is not recalling the problem, even though they make a kit to fix it with!!! I suggest everyone that has or had this problem call the commerce commission and report their experience. In the meantime, you can buy the kit online such as eBay for around $125.00... Let refrigerator thaw for several hours so you dont break cover or insulation foam behind it!!!

I purchased all new appliances for my kitchen about 5 years ago and chose Samsung. That was a huge mistake. I had to replace the microwave after about 3 years. The refrigerator is now the thorn in my side. About every 60 to 90 days I am having to turn it off and completely defrost it due to freezing around the fan. This has been a horrible experience and I will never buy another Samsung appliance. Reading all the reviews online it appears this is a huge problem nationwide. There should be a recall on all of these refrigerators. I am very unhappy customer.

I am having a week of nightmare with my Samsung refrigerator. My NEW refrigerator stopped cooling so I call this horrible company Samsung to help me and all they did was give me the number of a technician that could only come to my house and check the problem in 1 week. Finally when the technician came he told me that my NEW refrigerators compressor does not work and needs to be replaced, and the process takes from 3-5 business day. So I called Samsung to ask for help since all my good has spoiled and I need to keep ordering food for the entire family, including our 3 years old child and Samsung said just to keep the receipt. REALLY?! If you even consider to get a Samsung refrigerator just stop it... They will sell you a broken one and will not help with anything you need... REALLY DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS TERRIBLE COMPANY.

After 1.5 years from purchasing my Samsung refrigerator the coils started frosting over which caused both icemakers to stop producing ice. I defrosted it several times by removing the freezer interior panel and using a blow dryer to melt the ice. I did some research and all I found were hopeless complaints online. I started thinking the fridge was no good. I did some troubleshooting and replaced the thermistor and defrost thermostat located in the freezer behind the panel. Thank God it worked! Hope this can help someone.

We reached out to Samsung after my built-in Microwave oven suddenly stopped working. Prior to contacting them, we contacted my warranty provider but after coughing up a service fee to a no-good electrician, we discovered the appliance is still covered by the manufacturer. Samsung of course promptly connected me to a company they use for repairs. Unfortunately both Samsung and the company are highly inefficient as the repair company gave me a 4-hour window for their home service visit but we never received a call from the company as stated in the confirmation email they sent us. We reached out to Samsung and they in turn told us to deal with it or get a life. We contacted OMB LLC for an update since the clock was ticking with no sign of a technician; this was just within 2 hours to the close of the scheduled window. We were told there is still time and asked to contact the electrician directly.Half an hour to the close of appointment, we contacted the fella who dismissively and without any apology said he is still outside. As if this is not an appointment. When asked what that meant, he responded; I may not make it to you until after an hour. This meant we would be home all day just for some random individual to show up late at our doorstep as he wills. We contacted Samsung again and were told it is our bone to pick with the repair company and they may choose to reschedule. Is this service? My take is if your company is overwhelmed with repair work, dont take any more than you can chew. I know of under promising and over-delivering, not the other way round. It only takes ten more of negative review before youre off the market OMB LLC. Samsung is already losing its market shares so its no news theyd throw caution to the wind when they ought to go above and beyond to redeem their already tainted image.

I bought my 3 door Samsung Refrigerator in 2015 and it worked fine for 2 years. After that, Ive had nothing but problems. First, it wasnt cooling my food and I lost all of my food and had to pay a $200 repair bill. Then, 2 months later, that same thing happened! Luckily, they honored the initial repair warranty and the tech came out and fixed it again. Fast forward to 5 months later and now the refrigerator is freezing all of my food. Because the fridge is out of warranty, I will have to pay for a tech to come out and will be charged parts and labor to fix the problem. I have now lost 3 full refrigerator loads of food and am left to resolve the issue on my own. I have a 20 year-old Kenmore fridge in my garage that works perfectly and my $2000 Kenmore fridge is a POS. NEVER BUY SAMSUNG APPLIANCES!

On March 10, 2012, we purchased a French door black counter depth refrigerator 17.8 cu ft model rf197acbp. About a month ago, we noticed water in the bottom of the fridge - I thought maybe someone spilled something. I cleaned it out with 4 bath towels, and now it’s filling up again. I called Samsung and was treated with “what do you want me to do about it” attitude - you’re two or 3 months past warranty - it’s your problem. I asked him if he heard anything about this problem before and he said, never, I was the first. But I was horrified when looking at this site. Come on. Are there not laws protecting us from 1-year appliances? The last refrigerator was 22 years old, cheap and an Amana. The government should be forcing a class action lawsuit for a product they know is bad and still selling them every day. The worst thing is, they dont seem to have a fix - to me, that is lemon law. The government should step in and force a recall or stop the import!!

I was cooking dinner on the cooktop. I looked down and saw that the front glass of the oven door was completely shattered. One front element on the top was on medium heat as I made dinner. I had not used the oven in several days. I had not banged or even touched the oven door. Is it still safe to use the cooktop? We immediately went to the electrical box and shut off the breaker as we didnt know what had caused the glass to break when there wasnt any heat in the oven. This is accurate and fair. Here it goes. I purchased this refrigerator in 2014 from the Home Depot. I also purchased the 5 yr extended warranty (just in case). It all began with them delivering the wrong unit and it also had a hole in the back from a forklift. The delivery company left it in my driveway and drove off and in the process, ran into and wrecked my neighbors picket fence and would not share insurance information for replacement. Yes. HD sent two young men to pick up the fridge without a lift on the back so all of us had to heft this into a high bed truck to remove it. Ended up renting a truck and picking up and installing the new one ourselves. So I have had this refrigerator for 10 months and it stopped cooling in the fridge and the freezer. I want to add that the vegetable storage units do not keep the vegetables for long at all. They go bad after a couple of days. Back to the technicians, 3, yes 3 hours on the computer chat with a (3) tech(s) from Samsung to reset the OFF reading on the digital display. After 3 hours of attempting to reset and do all the bells and whistles to reset, the tech(s) then tell me that the panel is bad and needs a technician to go to the home location and repair it. They said to call Samsung to create a ticket. Ok, also called Asurion who has the warranty. They said they would create a ticket and send me a food loss form. Sent food loss form and then Im told that a reimbursement will not be issued until after the repair? I then call Samsung who tells me that there should be a repair person by Wednesday or Thursday (it is Saturday) and they would create a ticket. Then I called the Home Depot who tells me that if the issue was not solved by Wednesday or Thursday they would send me a check for the fridge or a new one? WTH? Its now Thursday (6 days after fridge quits) and no one knows about the problem or any ticket issued. I snapped. We then start all over. I am then told that it is a simple fix and I would have to pay for the repair? NO, NO, NO. I am then sent to the secondary customer person who then creates ANOTHER repair ticket and tell me that the repair person will call me in about 48 hours or so and cannot even conceivably come until next Tuesday or Wednesday. No we are into 11 days of this issue. So, this Samsung refrigerator has NO repair people in this area and yet they are continuously sold. Now what? I paid over $2,200 (on sale) for this absolute piece of mechanical scrap with the worst customer service ever. NEVER, and I mean NEVER purchase this refrigerator or any Samsung refrigerator, NEVER. Repeat that to yourself.

I had the vent fan working on my microwave (which is an above range microwave) because I had a stew pot cooking on the range. Supposedly this will help keep condensation down. When I went to check my pot on the range the fan on the microwave had quit and I was getting a code 5 E on the display. I have since learned code 5 E means the keyboard on the microwave has quit due to condensation in the wiring of the microwave. My question to Samsung is...why didnt you take care of this problem before selling me an above range microwave? Did you think through the problem of condensation? Very disappointed in SAMSUNG.

This has to be one of the worst refrigerators (Samsung 28.5 capacity, French door with freezer below) ever made. The ice maker would make ice sporadically. Sometimes there was enough ice to get through a day. Most of the time we had to rely on trays of ice that we purchased separately out of frustration. The shelves that hung on the doors were so poorly designed that they often broke off which caused many disasters with broken condiments and such. I know the shelving problem is not isolated to our refrigerator. A friend had the same model and every one of his shelves were also broken. Currently my shelving is patched together with tons of duct tape. Now to make things worse only 7 years old and the compressors has stopped working. I would caution anyone who is considering a Samsung refrigerator to reconsider.

I never write reviews but I came on this site to see if I was the only one who had a problem with this stove. ALAS, I was NOT. We had the same problem with the temperature controls as many other reviewers did. Luckily my husband was able to change a part and fixed the issue. After several ruined meals since I couldnt figure out what was wrong initially. However, my glass top has broken twice in the last year. I had an old GE range prior to this and it lasted forever! It was easily 15-20 years old. I bought this Samsung smooth glass top range when we remodeled our KItchen. (MAybe 3-4 years ago) Loved it! Im not hard at all on appliances. I turned my teapot on to boil water for tea the first time and I heard a loud crack. TUrned around and the entire top had shattered. We had the glass top replaced, which was a costly repair but we liked the stove. The other morning, I had a small skillet on the stovetop making eggs, I turned around and heard another loud CRACK! This time it cracked underneath the skillet and into about four large pieces. SO, I am guessing from what I see here, no reason to call Samsung. We can replace the glass top again but honestly, the money we spent to fix these issues were as much, if not more than, the stove itself. I would recommend another brand glass top stove/oven if youre looking for one.

Three visits later, the machine finally worked after replacing all master boards, pumps, drains, etc... Samsung was horrible to deal with. The machine again does not work and is showing the same codes; we had to wash all dishes and use the CLR cleaner the repair people gave us to no avail. Samsung will not back their product. The repair company refuses to repair a Samsung product (this is Samsungs registered repair company) and we have an $800 machine that does not work and has not work for more than a couple of months. For over 3 weeks, I have reached out to Samsung Customer Service to get a resolution on a new stove that never worked. No one has helped me yet. Below is a summary of the contacts I have made. My last two attempts to contact customer service have left me at a dead end. I was told there was no number for me to contact and that I must wait to receive a call from Samsungs Office of the President. After over 3 weeks without a stove and not a single follow-up call from Samsung, you can only imagine how frustrating this is. I have not cooked on a stove for over 3 weeks now.On 9-15-2012, I bought a new stove from Lowes in Fort Collins, Colorado. On 9-17-2012, I contacted Samsung Customer Service to report that the stove top did not work and caused large electrical surges in my house. On 9-19-2012, I called Customer Service again because no one had called me back. They apologized for the slow follow-up and got me in touch with Elite Services, a repair company in Greeley, CO.On 9-21-2012, the service company looked at the stove and determined that the entire mechanical components of the stove top needed to be replaced. According to the service company, an order was placed through Samsung. On 10-3-2012, after no follow-ups from Samsung or the repair company, I called again, only to determine that Samsung dropped the ball and that nothing was happening. From what I gathered, the part for my brand-new stove was no longer made and they would see if there was some sort of alternative part. My confidence continued to dissipate. On 10-3-2012, I emailed the Office of the CEO through the Samsung Customer Service website and received an automated reply that I would be contacted in 1-2 business days. On 10-8-2012 at 8:30, I contacted customer service again since I have not received any calls from Samsung. They basically told me my issue was being reviewed by a manager and that someone would be in touch with me by the end of the day.On 10-8-2012 at 4:00 PM, after not hearing back from Samsung, I called again. They said the issue was being handled by the Office of the President. It was not possible for me to speak to anyone, but someone would call me possibly that night. I could not call anyone in the Office of the President. I was told they would have to call me. There was a refusal to put me in touch with a person that had the authority to handle my issue. Again, I was told to be patient and wait.On 10-9-2012 9:45 AM after not hearing back from Samsung, I called again and of course, got the same answer. Customer service could not help me nor provide any answers. I must only wait for someone from the Office of the President to call me. A timeline was not provided and I was told that there was nothing else that customer service or I could do but to just wait for a call back.I researched a phone number for Samsung corporate, 201-229-4000. I was put on hold and waited to speak with customer service from the Office of the President. After a couple of minutes, a message came on and said the call volume was too high and to leave a message and theyll call me back. Through research, I think the President of this Samsung department is David Choi.Certainly, I am very disappointed with the complete lack of care, concern, follow-through, etc., from Samsung on a brand new product. I am very concerned that there is no confidence on the proper repair for a part that is no longer made. I wont settle for anything but a repair that makes the stove operate like new, or a new stove. I have not had a stove to cook on for over 3 weeks now and I have given Samsung ample time to correct this. Here is an excerpt from Samsung’s Code of Conduct: 12 - Principle 3. We respect customers, shareholders and employees. The Company will endeavor to reach just resolutions of customer-related disputes and will respond to the complaints of customers in a transparent, timely and effective manner. This has not been transparent, timely or effective.

I have multiple Samsung products and thought I could trust them. I purchased a French Door bottom freezer about 3 years ago (model # RF267ACRS/XAA) from Sears and luckily bought the rather expensive Master Service Agreement with a 3-year extension (a rip-off because the 1st year is supposed to be manufacturer covered). Fridge worked fine for 2 years. Then we noticed ice freezing up on the back panel of the fridge compartment. The fan started making a loud noise, and we called Sears (who owns their A&E service dept they send out, a major conflict of interest) and the tech melted the ice and said he cleaned out a drain. Fridge seemed to work for about another 4 months, then ice was building up again on the panel that stores the twin cooling system. Another tech call takes 2 weeks to get problem resolved. A new panel is installed and tech tells us he sees this problem frequently. I also have noticed the problem posted by many people on the internet. I expect that the back panel will once again freeze up. My next step is to contact Samsung to see if they have recommendations or can replace our faulty fridge, but do not expect results as it has been 3 years since we bought the $2600 fridge. With warranties, it has cost us more than $3500. Maybe someone will start up a class action lawsuit against Samsung as this appears to be a systemic quality issue. Does anyone know if one has been started?

Our brand new refrigerator broke so we called, it took them a week to come, another week to get the part, another 2 weeks to get another part. Its now been 4 1/2 weeks. I said after the first 2 1/2 weeks they should replace the fridge. Samsung... said no. I am disabled and I dont drive. My husband travels and we live in the country so we buy a lot of food and then he flies out. We had just stocked the fridge. I lost over 1000K in food the first time. I called and spoke with a guy about getting reimbursed on the food loss and he said List everything and they would jump on it. A rude lady called me back after the fridge was fixed and said Samsung only gives out 200$ as a courtesy. Why did I go through all the hassle of listing everything if they only give 200$. I forgot to mention that my medicine has to be refrigerated so we had to go get ice every day and again I dont drive. It was horrible. My poor son had to go get us food every day and that was a terrible expense because eating out is so expensive. So now for the worst part. Three weeks later the refrigerator broke again. I called this time and said I just want the money to replace. Please hurry because we cant go buy a new one until we get the money from the old one. That was 6-21-17... Its now 7- 12-15. I was told it should only take 2-3. Its been three weeks and when you load my ticket number in the website it does not give any information. When the refrigerator broke the second time... (YES IT BROKE AGAIN). I even told the ride lady that it was not running well when she called about the first 200$. She said she would have someone call me to set up repairs etc. I never got that phone call. I lost another fridge full of food. So I get one more 200$. Thats all! I just now got an update on the first 200$.That took 2 months. If it takes that long to get the money for the refrigerator it will be terrible for my family. Im not sure what to do? Every time I call everyone says that they will try and get whomever to speed up the process but so far it has been a nightmare. It has caused so much more than just a loss from a fridge. Its been a terrible domino effect. But so far I have lived with no refrigerator for 2 1/2 months... Could you do that? I have had company during this time twice. My son graduated high school and the whole family came. Something should be done and Samsung owes me something more than just replacement cost of my refrigerator. Im very upset. If you can help me please let me know.

We purchased all our appliances for our new home. Everything still works but our icemaker on our Samsung Refrigerator. We paid 2,000 plus for this item and icemaker maybe worked 6 months. All froze up and leaks down from of our refrigerator. It is such an inconvenience, to have to fill ice trays and break our own ice. Having the drawer for a freezer is hard to place ice trays and it takes up space to store the ice we made. I called Samsung and they are denying any issues with their icemakers. Lady acted like she had never heard of this issue. I feel like we are living in the dinosaur age with this, but I cant justify buying a new refrigerator and we shouldnt have to, Samsung needs to repair this defective product that they sold to hundreds of people like me.

We purchased a $1200 dishwasher from Samsung in August 2014. After 1 month it began breaking down and coming up with error messages which stopped it from running. Every time we called it took them 2 weeks to come out. By November they had been out 5 times and I was demanding a replacement. Id spent 4 months hand washing all my dishes. They came out and replaced it and things seemed fine before I saw water and suds streaming out of the bottom of the dishwasher on to my hardwood floors. As it was less than 1 year, I had to call Samsung. They insisted it was out of Warranty I needed to talk to the provider of the extended service even though the receipt was dated August 16. I called them and they sent me back to Samsung, who didnt seem to have any paperwork with our dates despite the fact that they had been to our house. They didnt care that there is most likely water under the dishwasher on the wood flooring. We havent heard yet from a repair person 24 hours later. I will never buy another piece of equipment from Samsung. Their quality and service is the worst Ive ever experienced.

In August 16, we bought a Samsung French Door, Bottom Freezer Refrigerator Model RF260BEAESR/AA from Sears. After only 6 weeks, the refrigerator broke down. We contact Samsung for a warranty repair, but it took them 2 trips and 10 days before the unit was working again. During that time, we lost a great deal of food (and it would have been more if not for my wifes planning and ingenuity). For the 10 days that we had no refrigerator, we lived out of coolers filled with ice. When Samsung contacted us to send our expenses that they would cover under the warranty, they initially said that they would pay only $200. Then they said they could cover the full $227.10, or up to $250 due to our inconvenience. Then, they called up and said that they would only cover $160. They said that they wouldnt cover the $60 in ice that kept our food safe for 10 days, because ice is just water and we dont cover water. Unbelievable!

Samsung otr microwave smh9207st is very dangerous and should be recalled. It had the door replaced twice and almost every holiday while I was cooking on the stove the steam rose and if the microwave was turned on it died like it isnt sealed properly. I think it was the third time it actually caught on fire and the magnetron and numerous parts were replaced free of charge with the promise if it failed again it would be replaced with no problems. When it died again they did not replace it - they repaired it again. When it died again they admitted they had it on record it was supposed to be replaced but refused to. They would pay for the magnetron but that was it. I would be responsible for the labor and any other parts. The repair service visit for the fire the repairman had just left a place not 20 miles from me for the same microwave catching on fire. I wanted to share my experience because I believe someone might truly get hurt by this product. I will not repair this again for the fear of burning my house down. I will never buy one of their products again because I have found they do not care if it is dangerous. They should recall and discontinue making it.

I feel in love with Samsung products but I am now done. My dishwasher started filling with water after only 3 months. While under warranty had it fixed. It started having the same problems. We fixed over the phone the second time but just when the warranty expired it started it again. I am beyond upset. No more Samsung for me. They dont stand by their products.

We bought our dishwasher over a year ago and have had nothing but problems. It smells all the time! We never had this problem before with our old one. The detergent latch opens about half the time but it leaves soapy residue every time. Do not buy a Samsung dishwasher. I will be replacing this one very soon.

Got the 5E error code after a month of purchase. Technician came out and fixed it. I should of researched this product before buying. Technician had to come out 3 more times for the exact same error code, half the time not finding anything wrong (of course). Its now 1 month past warranty and does the same thing. I took it apart, checked hoses, cleaned all filters, cleaned the pump and still no dice. It is obviously a common problem with these units and has nothing to do with a kinked drain hose or whatever else they try to say.Easy way to check this: put a few cups of water into the dishwasher prior to starting it. The first thing it does on any wash cycle is drain whatever water is in there. Open it up when it pauses to change to the wash cycle (2 mins or so) and if the water is gone then obviously nothing is wrong with the pump or check valve or hose. It doesnt crap out until after the 1st wash cycle and does this immediately. Circuit board maybe?? I dont know but I do know that Im not taking this B.S. after shelling out $700.Customer service is joke, and after 9 calls and 2 emails, I finally talked with a floor manager. He understands my frustrations and is very sorry and he can set up an appointment to get it serviced which I will have to pay for. I asked him if he knows basic math and if you multiply the average service calls per year to maintain this one of kind Samsung beauty, if it would be worth it to him. He didnt seem to understand this so I walked him through it: 4 x $150 = $600.Ding Ding Ding. Thats right smart guy, I might as well buy a new dishwasher. So he transferred me to customer relations. They agreed to make a one time exception and pay for the repairs. I told him to prepare for one hell of an exceptional bill because Im going to make sure they replace every possible part on this P.O.S.

Just before a year of having the Samsung Glass top stove, the enamel in the bottom of the stove started to crack. I didnt notice at first but the cracks were getting larger and showing in different areas of the bottom of the stove. I attempted to address the issue with Samsung, but days after sending pictures and receipts, they said that they would not cover it. They said its a esthetic issue. They wont cover it! ENAMEL CRACKED in less than one year of use with all the rust that come out its a esthetic Thing! What a JOKE. Samsung company is a big joke. Theyre the worst you can imagine with the worst service you can get. They treat people as bad as they can. We arent the kind of people who even have time to lose on writing reviews. But this time I find it necessary to warn everybody from the worst service they will get if for any reason they need them to repair their garbage products.

Purchased this microwave in 10/16. It broke by Christmas, they repaired it in June. Broke again and they repaired it in March 2018. It’s broke again, they refuse to repair it. Last Samsung product in my home ever. Do not buy Samsung. I called and had to call back because they are celebrating Christmas in the call center with yelling and partying so loud I can’t hear, and they can’t hear me. Unprofessional and inept.
