Samsung dishwasher model DMT400 stainless steel inside and out. Had for 2 yrs & 3 months. Kept stopping. Code stated it was a water problem. Nace came 4 times, replaced 3 parts. Later stated they could not fix my dishwasher. The dishwasher looks good but it is worthless. I called Lowes, they say sorry you didnt buy the extended warranty. I called Samsung, they said sorry, it is your problem. My book states there is a Samsung 5 yr warranty on the circuit board. How disappointing. I just bought a new refrigerator 3 months ago. It is a Samsung. I hope it doesnt let me down. I will never buy a Samsung product again. There is not one local to fix these appliances. I just had to buy another dishwasher and it is not a Samsung.

We purchased a Samsung French Door Refrigerator from Lowes with an extended warranty for five years. After two months, we had to call repair service because there was no ice. Once the item is sold, Lowes refers all responsibility to their (I quote) We have contacted Service Advantage with this issue. A&E Factory Service is the service provider and will be contacting you for a resolution within 5-7 days. Today is the 7th day and no response. We have had 7-8 service calls on this refrigerator 7 for the same problem. When we called for service the second time, Lowes informed us that the Service technician would determine whether or not the service call is covered under the warranty, this made us hesitant to keep calling on the same problem. We still have no ice and only promises from Lowes that Service Advantage would contact us. (Isnt that similar to asking the fox to check the hen house to see if any chickens are missing?) We contacted Service Advantage 8 times, repairs made 8 times, nothing worked. We were told by Lowes store manager that after 7 calls on the same problem the item would be declared a lemon. Samsung Refrigerators are beautiful to look at, but are totally unreliable and everyone that you talk to that owns one says they have problems with the ice maker.

We bought a Samsung Side-by-Side Refrigerator on 24 Jan 2008 from Best Buy
We bought a Samsung Side-by-Side Refrigerator on 24 Jan 2008 from Best Buy with a 5-year warranty service plan. We have had problems with cooling that resulted in spoiled food several times. We had one situation wherein the fan had to be replaced because of the noise it made while the fridge was not cooling at that time as well. We had had constant problems with ice-maker not working. The motor or vent behind the ice-maker freezes up and has to be thawed about four times a year. The ice has to be removed from the unit and the ice-maker begins working about 24 to 48 hours later. We have had problems with cooling and spoiled milk resulting in another fan motor replacement in 2010. This month, the refrigerator stopped cooling resulting in untimely milk and produce spoiling. When we turned the refrigerator up to 3 notches, all produce, eggs and pickles froze and had to be thrown out. We turned the unit down to 2 notches and now we have had two packages of meat spoil that was just purchased last week with expiration date of 27 Sept 11 (meat to sausage in casing and ground sausage). We have a Best Buy serviceman coming today. Our service warranty expires in 19 Jan 2013 and we plan to buy another refrigerator (not Samsung)!

I bought a Samsung microwave that sits on the counter top in 2017 from Walmart. The first few times I used it I never had trouble. Then about a month into having it I was heating up something for about 5 minutes and it cut off completely and wouldnt come back on for a few minutes. Then when it comes back on it resets the clock. Now 3 years later its only gotten worse. You cant cook anything in it for longer than 3 minutes or it cuts completely off and then resets the clock. We have unplugged it to reset but it still wont cook anything over 3 minutes. Ill be buying a different brand next time for sure.

Our new puppy likes to counter surf and has turned on the knobs several times but even before that we have done it ourselves by bumping into them. The most recent time caused a small fire. I am very upset. There are Zero safety devices that will fit this design knob. My only option is to remove the knobs when not cooking and its hard to get the whole family to comply with that. This product (Slide in electric range model NE58F9500SS) should be recalled. I cant believe there have been so many reports of this and there is no fix and Samsung has done nothing.

My 3 year old over-the-range Samsung microwave displayed an -SE- error while beeping several weeks ago. I unplugged/replugged the oven and all was well. It started doing it again today but would not go away this time after I unplugged/replugged. I cleaned the sensor at the top inside center of the oven with a Q-Tip and 91% Isopropyl alcohol and it is working again. Dont know if its a semi-permanent fix or not since it just happened today. Ive enjoyed using this oven and have had no other issues.

I purchased this product (Side by Side Show Case Refrigerator) in December
I purchased this product (Side by Side Show Case Refrigerator) in December thinking I was getting a good reliable product. Needless to say I had a problem with frost building up in the freezer in a so call frost free refrigerator. Samsung would continue to state that it was normal that seems to be their line they use so they do not have to replace. I had the problem right away. If they send someone out three times for the same thing policy is that they need to replace if cant repair. So if they cant replace it they will tell you its normal so they wont have to replace. I had another problem with the ice maker crushing the ice in cube mode. Of course I was told that this is normal too. I was able to get it replaced by Home Depot after having numerous contacts and pictures and technicians coming out. I was hoping that was going to be the last of my nightmare but that is not the case. The new replacement 2/23/2016 does the same thing. They replaced the hinges cause the door make a grinding noise. I was told to give it 3 weeks to settle. So far it still is making the same noise. Now with the frost in the freezer and the ice crunching ice in cube setting and now there is moisture building inside the containers in the fridge. Now from the reviews and my experience its going to be a unpleasant battle with Samsung not standing by their product. I would think twice about purchasing this product because if you have any problems you more then likely would have to deal with it. If Samsung know that these are known issues they should make it known to the consumers and if not then stand by their products.

Bought this unit 3 years ago and now in the middle of the night it starts beeping showing error code SE and will not work. I made soup on the burner. This is an over range unit. Under the control pad and apparently the stream damaged the keypad controls and rendered the unit inoperable. What a sham. What did the engineers, if there were any, think that the operating environment of this model oven would be, arid? I will not buy anything with Samsung on it for the rest of my life and will take my business to other than Lowes. What a scam. Please notify me of any group suit against Samsung for this unit.

Purchased a Samsung dishwasher just 2 days over a year ago. Have had good service until this morning. Started the unit and went to bed. This morning the unit was filled with water, the dishes were dirty, and the front panel light with Quick was flashing. After doing some internet research, I cleared the water from the tub and inspected the filter. No help. Next, I checked the exhaust hose for any blockage. No help. Then I found this site...... Apparently, Ive purchased a pile of junk for a washing machine. Does anyone on this site have a dishwasher they can recommend? We purchased this dishwasher ( DMR 77) 4.5 years ago from Leons when we renovated out kitchen. After 6 months the heater went but it was still under warranty. Last week the circuit board died! Our appliance technician informed us it was kaput! Really!! After 4.5 years! We baby our dishwasher and always ensure the dishes are well rinsed before going in and we dont abuse our appliances! My former dishwasher which is a vibrant 15 year old + non-Samsung continues to run beautifully in our neighbors kitchen! Shame on Samsung for making such a poor quality product! Now we will have to further overload out landfills with another poorly constructed appliance! In addition, at the time of our kitchen reno we did also purchase an over the stove microwave which died after 3.5 years! Luckily we did have the extended warranty so it was replaced. But during the install one of the supporting screw brackets fell straight into the microwave. We had to get creative to ensure it was well support but my poor kitchen cabinetry has taken a beating! I will never purchase Samsung again! Buyer beware!!!!

DMT300RFW - This appliance was purchased in 2010 from Future Shop in Saskatoon. Problems were experienced very quickly and our efforts for assistance from Future Shop or Samsung were a waste of time. In 2012 the dishwasher would only run on Heavy Duty and most often it has to restarted in order to start the cycle. At the present time, often it takes restarting four to five times before it will go into the cycle. We will replace it for certain with a different brand.

I purchased a Samsung OTR microwave in August 2015. The microwave has stopped working. The front control panel is totally dead. It doesnt even display the time. I have spoken to 4 different people from Samsung Support and a Samsung authorized repair shop representative. All of these folks have asked me if there is a problem with the electrical outlet or the breaker. I have tried to explain that the breaker is fine and the unit is getting power. We plugged in other items into the outlet to confirm. Now I am being told that I have to uninstall the microwave in order for a technician to look at it. I am 65 year old woman and I do not have the ability to uninstall this appliance nor do I have anyone that can do this for me. Samsung says it is their policy not to uninstall the appliances. REALLY? Well it is not my policy to have an appliance break in 6 months! I also purchased a Samsung oven, dishwasher and refrigerator at the same time. Cant wait for all of them to break within the next year so I can try to figure out how to uninstall all of them?? This is ridiculous. Dont buy Samsung.

We recently purchased a group of samsung appliances at lowes. In new lenox illinois. Within one week the dishwasher flooded our kitchen with water. The lowes corporate claims office approved a company paul davis to tear out the damaged kitchen. They did that and dried out the kitchen after waiting three weeks. The lowes corporate claims handler jill ** approved this work. Then after all was torn out and dried she called us and told us lowes is not covering our damage. This is truly a scam. She said they found a piece of glass in the drain hose. Remember this machine only ran a few times in a week. Well needless to say they will not fix my kitchen. They offered to pay for the litigation and the deductible but I need to use my own insurance! Can anyone help me on how to proceed? Very upset and will never tell anyone to use lowes or Samsung again! If anyone can help please let me know. Thanks.

I had nothing but troubles since we bought the refrigerator Samsung side by side with outside doors to get to the door shelves. First two weeks it was beeping constantly and nobody at Samsung Help could not tell me JUST to disconnect and reboot. It took two month for to get a repair man and by then I had it fixed. Then the door shelves are made of such a LOW quality that they do NOT have any quality at all. Within the first six months 3 shelves were broken in pieces and when I complained they ONLY send me 1 shelf. You keep complaining to somebody from the other side of the world and they just keep opening new ticket complains without solving the problem. They send me one more shelf and as of today I only have two door shelves working because each one costs about $60 and I do not want waste any more money. The water and ice dispenser is also a big problem, it seems to have an attitude. It dispenses ice or water whenever it pleases him not the person getting it. It would not dispense and you HAVE to figure out if the temperature its at normal or you have to open and close the doors or you have to turn the knob at the ice dispenser to get anything dispensed to you. Do not BUY it is a piece of JUNK compare to my last refrigerator that lasted 15 years without any problems. If you Do be prepared to pay them at least $240 a year in Door Shelves replacements.

FTQ353IWUX - There is a major defect in these appliances due to a combination of factors. First: all the wiring near the oven upper element is exposed to extreme heat that has damaged all the wiring plastic insulation by drying it, severely causing cracks that have exposed the bare wires. This may be contributing to the frequent cases of fire since arcs may be happening. Also, at the main board, the plug that controls the broiler temp. settings is prone to sticking and overheating, causing it to catch fire. Amazing some appliance like this has not been recalled by the government. Everyone should unplug these units and remove the back cover to visually inspect the wiring insulation near the fans. All these wires are going to show damage, cracks and longitudinal fissures exposing the wires.

Samsung RF217ACPN leaking issue - Purchased the French door refrigerator in August 2010. It started to leak water inside and bottom of the drawers after about 18 months. We just put a sponge down those areas, and clean the water when it very wet. Then we took all food out and leave all doors opened for a couple days in the summer. Less than 2 weeks, the water drop again and even worse. We then repeat the above procedure and left it dry for 3 days this time in the summer. Nothing was changed. We decided to open the cover locate above the drawers. Then we find out that it seems has been opened and repaired before we purchased it! There is big hole at side of bottom of the foam that have tape to cover it. The metal panel has separated with the foam that used duct tape to connect them. The soft stick tape was broken and covered only 3/4 of the bottom...

Whoever designed the rack adjuster did not do a very good job it. The plastic tabs that hold it in place keep breaking off. If were using it to move the rack up and down I could understand that over time it might break but we never use it to move the rack up or down. The rack has been in the same position from the time the dishwasher was installed over a year ago and about every six months I have to replace the adjusters because the tab breaks off and lets the rack drop. This is one of the main reasons we will never buy another one and replacing this one even though we have had it less than two years.

I bought the Samsung slide in range because of its sleek look. However, the knobs and buttons on the front are extremely sensitive and the oven and range turned on accidentally all the time. One night while sleeping, the smoke detector went off. A towel lying on the range had caught fire and flames were everywhere. Trying to get the towel into the sink so my house didnt burn, I knocked a bottle off the counter that shattered the glass on the oven door. A technician for Samsung came to assess damage. He suggested I contact Samsung customer service. After multiple calls, I contacted them through their chat line. I was assured the situation would be taken care of, the existing ticket was escalated, and I was to be sent transcript of call. No transcript, nothing taken care of because product was not defective. The design certainly is defective and this product is not safe. Samsung is irresponsible. I had this stove 3 weeks.

RF4287HA Refrigerator cannot be repaired - 2 1/2 years old. Loved this refrigerator until I got error code on display one day. Called for Service. Technical came and said unit could not be repaired. He called Samsung and after they spoke, he told me Samsung would call to make arrangements to exchange unit. Told they would even take the old unit back at the same time. Received call today from Samsung requesting receipt. I was then told that Samsung will only be refunding me for the purchase price prorated from the time of purchase. I have an STH9207 Over the Range Microwave. About 4 months ago, it (like many/most other similar models) went completely dead. After a huge amount of bureaucracy, I finally got Samsung to send someone out to look at it. The repairman was very familiar with the problem as he had already replaced MANY transformers in these microwaves previously. A quick look on the internet and it became apparent to me that I was the proud owner of a lemon. Nevertheless, the repair agency replaced the transformer in my microwave. Today, the microwave went dead again. I called Samsung and told them that. Obviously, their fix isnt fixing the units and that I would appreciate a replacement or a refund. The lady told me that they cant do that. Instead, they can only pay to have the unit fixed. Then, she looked at my purchase date and discovered that I was/am ONE week out of warranty. Likewise, she informed me that even though the unit was just repaired for the same problem a few months ago, they have no responsibility to make sure that the repair lasts. Honestly, Im temped to take Samsung to Small Claims Court. Its doubtful that they will send an attorney to represent them, but, even if they do, Ill present a ton of data supporting the fact that their microwaves are defective and that I am not the first one with such a problem. We can only hope that people look at this website before they invest in any Samsung appliance or product.

I bought a Samsung refrigerator RS263TDR from my local Lowes store. About 18 moths later ice would collect on the back wall & water at the bottom of the fridge department. I called Samsung customer service and they advised me to go to a local certified Samsung repair shop. After the first year, Samsung customer service told me that these parts are not under warranty, repair cost $275.00. Just a few months later the ice maker was defective and water level was out of adjustment and too much water would overflow over the existing ice cubes. The ice cubes would become just one big block of ice and a sensor was dangling in the ice maker area. So we shut the ice maker off. A few months later the entire refrigerator shut down and we could not restart it again. Samsung technician told us that the main electronic motherboard is burnt and this is a major part and shall be covered for at least 5 years. In my disbelieve Samsung does not cover it after just one year. It is not worth it to repair this unit again! Parts and labor over $850. I had to replace my Samsung side by side refrigerator RS263TDR just after 3 1/2 years!!!

We were in immediate need of a new refrigerator when we moved into our new home back in 2015. I regret not reading reviews, but I assumed that Samsung was a reputable company, and weve been pleased with our Samsung televisions (we have 6) so I purchased this $3000 refrigerator based on how it looked. The icemaker was problematic from the beginning. At first it just took a long time for ice to dispense and cubed ice never really came out cubed. Then I started noticing ice build-up underneath the crisper drawers. Then the icemaker stopped working because it froze up.I called Samsung and they asked if I had an extended warranty. Basically, they did not offer any remedies although they acknowledged that this is a known problem. So repair would be at my cost although this is a manufacturer defect. We planned to replace all our appliances with Samsung units, but I will never purchase another Samsung appliance because they obviously do not stand behind their products. Im very disappointed.

So we purchased this refrigerator on May 29, 2017. We were so excited about this since we had done a lot of homework and research and this seemed like it would fit our needs. After delivering the refrigerator we noticed that the ice maker was noisy but what the heck, this wasnt a deal breaker. Then the fun really began. On October 12, less than 4-1/2 months later the ice maker went out. They came out promptly and replaced the ice maker with a new one and everything was fine UNTIL February 22, 2018 (again around 4 months later) the ice maker quit working again... So another technician came out and told us that the refrigerator needed to be exchanged. He gave us an exchange number and told us someone would call us within 24-48 hours. (I have learned to HATE that comment). We waited and no one called so I called the company service department and they asked me for some numbers off of the purchase ticket. They told me that they were waiting on this information in order to expedite the exchange. My response was why didnt you call. Anyway, I gave them the information they were looking for (we had purchased the refrigerator at Sears). Samsung informed me that they would call me back within 24-48 hours. Guess what. They didnt. So, I called them again and asked what the problem was now. They informed me that they were waiting on more information and that as soon as they had it they would start processing the claim. This has been going on for almost a month now. Thursday 3/8/18 I turned it over to my husband and he contacted the NJ office and was told that we COULDNT get a exchange but we could get a refund, minus the sales tax and that they would respond in (wait for it) 24-48 hours. We never received a call so I called them back today on 3/13 and was informed that they had it in the file and I explained to the first person that I didnt want a refund, less the sales tax because I couldnt replace the refrigerator with that. She informed me that she was sorry, seriously, who cares. But I told her that we needed an exchange and I wanted to speak to her supervisor. She came back on the line and told me that she could give me the refund PLUS the sales tax and I informed her that I could not replace the refrigerator for that. I asked to speak to HER supervisor. Let me say that it is almost impossible to speak to a supervisor of any kind. These people have a script and they do not deviate from it. I was finally able to speak to supposedly a manager who simply stated the same thing she was sorry but they couldnt do an exchange but she could get me back my sales tax plus the purchase price.I told her that I didnt want my money back because I could not replace the refrigerator and it wasnt my fault that it was a LEMON. She again went through the Samsung Party Line and I told her that I wanted to talk to her supervisor. She told me that she was it and I explained that I then wanted to speak to the person that SHE has to answer to. Guess what... She told me that no one could do anything better than this BUT if I wanted she would have someone return my call wait for it in the next 24 to 48 hours. Hmmm. What are the chances. Just some food for thought here. I have never experienced such horrible Customer Service in my life. Very few of the people speak English and it is almost virtually impossible to understand them. They absolutely refuse to let you speak to anyone else and just continue on with Im sorry and I can help you with that, but they can not help me so why do they continue to do so. It is the most frustrating experience and it will literally make you crazy. I totally refuse to give up and if necessary I will contact the media outlets AND social media to get this resolved... This is absolute BS.

We purchased a package deal at hhgregg in November 2015 including a Microwave Oven, Refrigerator, Dishwasher, and Gas Range. We are not at all satisfied with the range. We had the range service twice in August 2016 due to inaccurate temperature control. Each time they replaced the thermostat, and the also the control board on the second visit.Believing this was an anomaly and no need purchase an extended warranty, we let the warranty expire in November. In February 2017, we began to experience the same issues. The temperature would not stay within the prescribed/published range, the oven would not light when following the proper use methods, and despite following the directions in the manual, the problem persisted. We contact the service department and they sent a tech on March 2, 2017. He had never seen the problem we were experiencing before, contacted tech support and they told him to replace the control board. So now I must wait another week for the board to arrive and be installed. The warranty is expired and despite my protest that they replace the board in August, and it correct failure should be covered, they refuse to do so. Now it cost me $90 for the assessment and another $90 for the next installation service call plus the $150-$200 for the board. When I contacted Samsung they said sorry, nothing they could do. So my message to Samsung, Go to hell. I will bad mouth your product line until I take my last breath. Planned obsolescence is no way to build a future in the U.S. market. We are not fools.

If it were possible to give zero stars I would do so. We paid nearly $2000 for this refrigerator less than 4 years ago. We got only 1 year of trouble-free use out of it. Right after the 1-year warranty expired the ice-maker started completely freezing over, making it unusable unless we manually defrosted it. Even though the unit was out of warranty Samsung agreed to repair it for free. Repairman came out, made the repair but said we WOULD have trouble with the unit again. Indeed, and sadly, his prediction was highly accurate as a year later we started having the exact same problem. Now Samsung wants to charge us $525 to fix it AND they only offer a 90-day warranty. Samsung, they make cellphones that catch on fire and refrigerators that only work properly for a year. AVOID this companys products at all costs. They are not to be relied on. The government should do something about them but Im not holding my breath waiting for that to happen.

We are having the repairman in on Monday because for the second time in 2 year our Samsung fridge is freezing lettuce and cheese. Yogurt is turning moldy even though there is still 3 weeks left till expiry. When the fridge works it’s great. When this happens it makes me nervous. We do not have an ice maker and I often wonder if it thinks there is one because it makes this strange clunky noises. Last time this happened we had to unplug the fridge so it could thaw out so they could change a part. I sure hope we don’t have to do this again. We only have 1 fridge so it does cause a bit of an inconvenience. My main problem is that we are losing food. This should not happen.

Samsung RF-28hdedbsr - WOW! Thought I had done my due diligence before buying this refrigerator but unfortunately I never saw this site. Purchased this appliance for several thousands of dollars in May 2016 and worked fine until July 2017 when ice maker quit functioning properly. The problem is that when ice bucket was full the sensor quit telling the ice maker to stop filling the trays. It just kept filling and dumping ice until unit was so full that it froze up everything. Then like everyone else I had to use hairdryer to unthaw the ice maker compartment. This worked a couple of times but now ice maker has totally quit working. What a POS!Of course out of factory warranty and did not buy extended warranty as every GE, Kenmore, Frigidaire refrigerator I have ever purchased over the last 40 years havent had any problems. Big mistake. NEVER PURCHASE ANY SAMSUNG APPLIANCE again tv, fridge microwave etc. With so many complaints why hasnt some govt agency gotten involved or a class action lawsuit been filed to make Samsung recall or fix this problem as they are obviously selling a defective product.

I purchased a Samsung bottom freezer model... twin cooling. I have had it for a little over two years. I first noticed it after my daughter and grand baby moved in he was extremely sick and I kept thinking that he had eaten something that made him have a extremely bad stomach. After he went to the doctor we was still trying to make sense of it. My daughter was cleaning out the fridge and noticed that there was ice on the back panel... go figure what I think made him sick. I contacted Samsung. Their response was talk to a different department. I will never purchase another Samsung fridge.

Bought Feb 2015. Worked, but never dried 1 dish. In June heavy light started flashing, repair came out, said he raised hose. Worked for 2 weeks. Can out again - replaced 2 hoses, then decided tub leaked. Accused us of attempting to repair, two elderly women me and my mom. Samsung said that they would refund, not replace as rhe model has been discontinued. Nothing on my receipt indicated that I purchased discontinued item. Now I can get the upgraded model for an additional $200. Bait & switch? So here I am with a dishwasher that does nothing but flash heavy light. Dishes being washed by hand. They now drain in my dishwasher. This horrifying appliance replaced a $25 whirlpool about 30 years old purchased at Habitat for Humanity, which worked perfectly for 4 years. Service America would not repair because it was too old... So much for new. All I asked is for a replacement with stainless front and interior and was quiet. My new Samsung is very quiet, just a lovely blue flashing light.

We purchased the Samsung Dishwasher to match our other Samsung appliances, both of which we have never had an issue with. The washer has broken once on month for the year we have had it. We have had innumerable service calls. They have replaced the main board twice. Everything from the pump to the latch have been replaced. Multiple error codes, the machine never works. We are always hand washing dishes, either because we are waiting in service, or if the machine is working you have to wash them before you put them in the dishwasher, per our service man, our dishes were too dirty. Or you have to wash them when they come out of the dishwasher because they are dirtier than they were when you put them in. The dishwasher recirculates the nasty water, evenly distributes it around to all your dishes and then bakes the dirt on in the heated dry cycle. Our friends have a 1990 broke down dishwasher. The door wont shut on. It sound like street sweeper, but it gets the dishes cleaner than our Samsung. What a shame! Our factory warranty is a service warranty, they will just keep fixing it till the service tech deems in unrepairable. You would think someone would have the sense to replace the machine and cut costs. Sounds like even if they did I would still have issues.

Purchased a Samsung refrigerator RF220NCTASR/AA September 2016 In January. I experienced food poisoning and food spoilage. I bought a thermometer to check temperature and it was hovering at 42 degrees even when turned up all the way! There is no way to know how long this was going on!! Service response was terrible and I was forced to wait almost two weeks for a tech to come out and slap in a new assembly cover on Feb 1st. The next day the problem was worse. The temperature would go from 32-42 degrees in as little as 30 minutes. I still have not been able to use the refrigerator as it is unsafe and they will not come back out to service until Feb 6th. Meanwhile, I have called corporate demanding a new fridge from Samsung, hhgregg and have file complaints with the BBB, local TV stations, and newspaper.

Samsung does NOTHING to help since the refrigerator starts falling apart just after 1 year. Ive had a GE Profile last 19 years and a Frigidaire last 10 years & still going strong. Samsung charges $160 plus $66 to ship plastic bins that should last more than 15 months. Overpaid to repair the ice maker $200 & now am paying $226 for the bins. Mystic Electronics Service Center Davao was contacted by customer service to be assumed warranty repair provider. Person came out said Lindsey too short so had to pay P6000 To have that fixed. Unit continued to short cycle. Came out again said outdoor motherboard AND compressor overload were both bad...then outdoor blower motor was bad. They replaced all of those items. I have years of AC experience and told the KID that is not the problem. He leaves unit still short cycling so I finally called Manila again and told them MY diagnosis. After further discussion between themselves they agreed to send same KID out to replace the indoor thermistor. The KID damaged my casings on inside unit. Now unit is acting up again with about 3 weeks remaining on warranty. I told them they need to send someone else out as I had banned Mystic from coming inside the property again since he has really no idea what he is doing and no respect for someone elses property....I.e. Samsung RF28HMEDBSR French Door Refrigerator - Bought ours Nov. 2014 and bought the exact same one for my mother-in-law about a month later. Our ice-maker started acting up and freezing almost a year to the day after purchasing. Then lo and behold, my mother-in-laws did the exact same thing about a month after ours started (about one year to the day for her too). I did the hairdryer defrosting trick about 5 times in a two month span and had had enough... Too much work for ice, seriously! So then I got the bright idea to shut the ice-making ability off and buy bagged ice from the store and put it in the dispenser bucket. Works fantastic, except when you pay $2300 for a fridge with an ice-maker, one shouldnt have to purchase ice!My mother-in-law has appliance guard from Black Hills and they came out and fixed it a couple months ago, and it froze over again (just received an email from her this morning). I feel terrible because we purchased this for her as a gift and bragged how much we loved it; that was before the problems. If anyone has a fix, please post the link here. Theres been lots of theories, but I dont want to call out a repairman to temporarily fix what I can do with a blow dryer... ugghhh. Why no class-action lawsuit yet? The complaints are endless on their ice-makers, etc.

Dishwasher worked great for 6 months or so. Much quieter than previous dishwasher. Loved the extra space on the top rack. Samsung Dishwasher DW80F800UWS. Started intermittently displaying OE error code. We would try again, shake things, etc. Eventually it would run. Now, it consistently fails, having tried 10+ times in a row. I opened things up and clean parts and reassembled it. I tried what I thought was the most vigorous setting... pots and pans with storm wash. Failed within a minute. I took out all the dishes and racks. Now... it works. Bottom rack. Works fine. Top rack... fails.Experimenting a bit, it fails when the water first attempts to spray out the top rack. That nozzle at the back of the dishwasher hooks into the spinning bit on the bottom of the top rack. I cleaned and rinsed it with vinegar to remove any build up. Still fails. Of course I let it all dry and tried again. Now it fails and the top part is still dry. I smack the side of it a few times and now its sort of working again. No telling how long until it fails again. It is so aggravating.

I purchased a Samsung 24.73 ft 4 door French door refrigerator Model #RF25HMEDBSR in August of 2017. Not sure how long I had it when the ice maker started freezing up and had to be defrosted with a BAIRD dryer. Called for repair the first time in February of 2018. They replaced the entire ice maker, however it started freezing up again. Repair sent out again on May 14, 2018. The technician tells me the entire refrigerator need to be replaced and someone will call me within 24-48 hours. No call, I call Samsung and I am told, WE DONT CALL you, I am told to submit receipts and someone will contact me. I submit my receipts and receive a phone call on the 22 of May to send a better picture of the receipt.May 23rd I received an email stating the exchange has been approved and someone from the Lowes where I purchased it should give me a call within 5 business days. 5 days later no call. May 31st. I call Samsung, they tell me the exchange is finished on their end and I need to contact the local Lowes. Call Lowes, they have not received the RMA (return merchandise authorization). I provide the number and they contact Samsung to request it be sent again. June 1st - Lowes calls, RMA received. They are required to come and pick up the refrigerator, refund it then they can order the new one... I call Samsung, and explain how I am not ok with this, The bottom line is, they don’t care. The angel in this scenario is Jessica (and Dianne) assistant manager at Lowes in Santa Clarita California. She is willing to order the replacement without having the old unit back. Because its a special order will take 10 days to get to the store. That puts me at the 14th of June, almost exactly 1 month from the date of my 2nd repair and the day I get on a plane to go to Europe for 2 weeks. Here’s the Bottom line, Samsung did nothing to make this an easy process and they don’t care. I just stumbled on this site and can see this is a known issue and they have done nothing to fix the problem. During manufacturing or after the units were purchased.

Our beautiful and expensive Samsung fridge has locked up several times, requiring a hard defrost. This time it actually burnt up the fan, requiring an emergency overnight purchase of a new fan. And were not sure the new fan will work - the serial numbers on our fan show that its no longer available, and Samsung doesnt have replacements. We had to go with a third party and hope their best guess is right. In the meantime our food is in coolers for two days, and the ** of it is that Im pretty sure that the best case scenario is that this fan will fit, and in a few months it will all freeze solid and lock up and burn the fan out again.Im ready to throw in the towel, but we spent a couple of grand on this (considerable for a not-wealthy family) and my husband wants to keep trying. We are totally dissatisfied with Samsungs French door refrigerator (RF26VAB
We are totally dissatisfied with Samsungs French door refrigerator (RF26VABWF) and totally frustrated with dealing with their appointed service representative - Lakes Electronics. We purchased a French door refrigerator December 2008. By March 2012, the refrigerator stopped cooling. Between Lowes service company and then Samsungs factory service unit (Lakes Electronics) it took three trips and $570 dollars to get serviceable.Three years later, the refrigerator started leaking water from the unit that was replaced in 2012. We called Lakes Electronics directly for service, who responded appropriately the next day. The repair person defrosted the leaking unit, charged the standard fee, and gave us his directed contact number. Within a few days the refrigerator started leaking water again, we waited a few days in hopes that it would corrected itself and called for another service trip. On the second trip, the service rep took the unit apart, supposedly unfroze the drain line and told us that he would check with Samsung to try to diagnose the problem. He said that he should have an answer in a day and a half.Needless to say, the leak resumed within two days. The rep failed call with the status of the claim. We called him twice after a week, but he failed to answer and failed to return the call. We infer that he had no idea what was wrong. We dont know if he neglected to contact Samsung or Samsung didnt know how to fix the problem. Now we contacted Lakes again. We get the answer that they will send the same representative out and that they will charges us again. In effect, they promised fix our flat tire by filling it with air but not find the nail that causes the flat. When we question whether they guarantee that the problem is fixed, we get a run-around. When we ask to discuss the issue with supervisory staff, we are put on permanent hold.In addition to the above tale of woe, the ice maker stopped working a couple years ago. Plus the cold water runs so slowly, it is totally worthless. These problems were true with a brand new filter. The filters cost $40 every six months. With the rest of our frustrations with our purchase of the refrigerator we havent even considered bringing service in for ice and water line problems. For sure, we will never buy another Samsung appliance.

I purchased a Samsung 2 door fridge with lower freezer drawer and upper ice
I purchased a Samsung 2 door fridge with lower freezer drawer and upper ice and water dispenser. It was delivered and installed in May 2016. Right away the ice cubes where either very small and dry or regular size and wet. The cubes regularly melted and froze into a block of ice, where we had trouble removing the ice tray. Once opened we found that the whole ice compartment was frozen including the ice making machine. We had to regularly turn it off and defrost it. Sometimes the ice would melt and drip from the ice/water dispenser. In the summer 2016 we noticed that our food was spoiling. Soon after the fridge was making a loud noise. After some investigation we found out that the fan area of the fridge was filling with ice which froze the fan in a block of ice, which caused the fridge to warm without any indication on the fridge thermostat. Every few months we have to take everything out, thaw out the fridge for 2 days and then restart the fridge. Weve had two repairs done by a certified appliance repair company. The first time we were told that the problem was a well known flaw in manufacturing. Samsung has recommended a kit to fix the problem, but the repair company said that it doesnt work. We paid them to put the kit in, which was some tin foil and cardboard to redirect the air flow and replacement tubs to help with the backflow of water (which both cause the water to back up and freeze into the fan area). One month later the fan was frozen again and our food was spoiling again. We paid for the repair company to return. They checked everything and told us that there was no way to make the fridge run the way it should. They told us that its a well known manufacturing flaw that samsung will not fix and will not recall. We paid over $2000 for this fridge and Samsung has told us that they will not refund or replace it even though it hasnt worked right from the start.

I purchased a Samsung rf267aers refrigerator 12/01/09. The issue with this unit is the following. We the owners of this unit all (have) the same problem. Lousy design of defrost system allows the defrosted water to freeze in the discharge tube so it overflows into the lower platform under the pull out shelf. When it freezes, it freezes the roller wheel on the bottom of the shelf in the layer of ice and it wont move until you defrost the fridge to the point it releases. There are YouTube videos of how to defrost the coils but Samsung has known about this forever and wont fix it.So every month I remove the bottom tray and remove the built up ice slab. Now I have called samsung several times. Samsungs directions defrost the refrigerator. But even that process DO NOT solve the problem. ONCE unit was turned on again the SAME problem returned. I once inquired to samsung tech people how much it would cost me to fix the problem $700-$800 with NO GUARANTEE. BUT THEY WOULD put the old parts back. Of course I would have to pay for the labor for the install and removal that was about $165-320. Samsung bad NEWS.

My kitchen was in desperate need of a makeover so I decided to purchase all new products from Sears and selected Samsung. I so wish that I would have checked with Consumer Affairs first before purchasing (3) Samsung products in 2013 - all of which have had issues. I purchased a double door black refrigerator, a black microwave as well as a black gas range. My refrigerator from day one has had issues with the ice maker not making ice and the refrigerator temperature not working properly. The worst product of all was the microwave oven that caught fire while I granddaughter was cooking a hotdog on a paper plate. The plate caught on fire. There were sparks and flames literally shooting from the microwave. I didnt purchase the extended warranty on the microwave because my experience with good microwaves is that they simply stop working after about 6-7 years. They dont catch on fire! I paid $329 for the microwave and Samsung wanted to charge me $325 for the repairs and continue to give me the run around. The matter is still not resolved. So if you are reading this review... save yourself the trouble. Please do not purchase any Samsung product!

Four days of fighting with customer service FINALLY earned me a service call when I was told that the ice maker was not broken, but defective in all refrigerators. I will NEVER buy a Samsung again!

Never buy a Samsung fridge. They are awful. I have had nothing but issues with mine. $2,500 for a refrigerator that is constantly breaking, plus the cost of buying the extended warranties every year. The 25 year old fridge I have in my garage works better than my brand new one. I will never recommend to anyone to buy this brand of appliance. Wish I never had bought mine!

We bought this dishwasher in Nov. 2011 for our new kitchen. The dishwasher had at least two or three minor problems over the course of one year. They range from not starting to electronic display problems. Finally, last week in early Dec., it died right after the warranty had expired. We had a tech come and he confirmed that the motor had burnt out which would cost over $500 to repair!

I purchased a series of Samsung appliance just less than 2 years ago. They have all, every single one, had problems. The ice maker on the fridge has to be manually defrosted about every 3rd week. When it is working it drips water down the door making the door shelves unusable. The heat sensor on the oven was replaced once already and is now giving problems again, which requires me to pull out and unplug the unit after each time I use the oven. The dishwasher door no longer closes properly, so I have to pull it out and attach a clamp on each side to use it. In each case the problems started just as warranty expired. I have had multiple service calls (at my own cost) and in no case was the problem addressed. The fixes that I have for I learned from the internet. In summary, they are clearly poorly made, the service is non existent, and generally, I plan to make it my goal in life to spread the word about how crappy these appliances are.

We bought the dishwasher January 2011 and problems began in October 2011. We have had 4 different service visits with the 4th being today, March 20th 2011. It is still not fixed and now we are without a dishwasher since January 16th. Repairs have all been different, but the problem has been the same. The dishwasher stops mid-cycle and 2 lights blink. Their first repair over the phone was to turn off the breaker and try again. This did not help. Here is the timeline of repairs: 2011 - October 3, I called for appointment. October 24, repaired detergent latch. 2012 - January 16, I called for appointment. January 25, repaired drain pump. February 17, I called for appointment. March 15, replaced sump pump assembly. March 15, I called for appointment. March 20, I ordered something for the heater. This is getting absolutely absurd.

On our third repair the unit doesnt defrost properly which causes ice build up and the fan motor freezes. This in turn causes the unit to run at 50 degrees F. So not only are we several hundred into repairs were out several hundred in spoiled food. Appropriate that its Halloween cause the nightmare just wont stop.

I purchased the Samsung OTC Microwave SMH9087ST from Sears in 11-2010. The microwave started having problems. About 6 months later, it was showing SE error on the display and nothing would work. I got the troubleshooting info offline and it told how to flip the circuit breaker and reset it. I did that and once in a while, it worked but would always go back to SE error. In 12-2011, it began to randomly turn itself off and on in the middle of the night, and throughout the day. The light would kick on. The fan would turn on and off. It starts beeping. It has gotten so frightening we keep it unplugged now and it wont reset at all now. Sears says it is beyond the warranty when I called in Dec. 2011. I have seen tons of complaints posted on them but no one will do anything. Samsung is in denial and Sears is worthless. I have a Samsung oven that I purchased at the same time and we love it, but I wont be buying any Samsung appliances anymore after the way they have mishandled this.

But now the SE error came on, I contact Samsung CS and they said they can set up a technician to call me in 2 days but is not free. I told him that so many people has these problem and it should be free of charges. He said he cant do anything about it. I am very upset with them because I own 4 more appliances from Samsung (cross my fingers that they wont die because its been 16 months old). Purchased this RF267AERS fridge in 2012 and the nightmare began almost right away. The fridge was making a loud noise that would stop once the doors were opened. Called for support but since the fridge was out of warranty by 6 months, they would do nothing! This was an expensive model and is a piece of crap. Apparently plenty of people have the same problem with this model. The back wall freezes up and the fan blade hits the ice so if you do not unplug and melt the ice, you risk ruining the cooling fans. What a pain in the neck trying to store food and spending all that time to have the fridge freeze right back up every six months. This month, I have already defrosted it twice and it looks like I am going to have to do it again. All they say is there is no recall. THERE SHOULD BE!!!!!!!!! No other help or advice is given. I was a loyal Samsung consumer but will never purchase another Samsung product, EVER!

After 3 week of use on the stove my wife made corn on the cob, she did her normal way of making the corn of a large pot to boil the corn in. Well some of the water boiled over which is a normal thing that happens when cooking. We didnt think too much of it since we have been cooking on a glass top stove for over ten years with our old Ignis Stove. My wife went to clean the top the next morn and she found where the water boiled over the glass pitted or pop little holes in the top.Samsung is denying our claim say it is do to Wear and Tear. Are you kidding me!!! Wear and Tear. When the appliances came in we found that the freezer pull out door has a small crease in it and had to have this order from the company we purchased the appliances from. Samsung dishwasher is broken down again. DMR78AHS 3 years old. Immediately the plastic tabs for the upper rack adjuster broke off. This is a common problem and has happened 3 times. Warranty covered too. Once the tab jamming the pump causing error code LE. No warranty this time, $179 to fix. Next the door tension spring is attached with a nylon cord and runs over a plastic pulley. Cord broke, door came crashing down, another $179 labor and $20 parts for 2 cords. Today it will not turn on at all, no response from control pad. I guess another $179 down the drain. It washes so poorly that we only load it half full, plates in every other space and dont even think about putting dishes in without pre-rinsing. We are very disappointed in this appliance. We have spent the price of the washer in service calls. We filed a request with Samsung when the tab jammed the pump for reimbursement of the service call but were denied. We feel a class action suit is appropriate.

I bought model RF28JBEDBSG less than 2 and a half years ago. For paying over $2000, you would think its going to be an excellent appliance. Since day one, we hated the ice maker. Barely makes any ice. But little by little the ice maker freezes up and the ice blocked up. So we started buying bagged ice. So to fix it, we unload the refrigerator and let the ice melt so we can get into the ice machine to remove the ice. This has happened multiple times even Christmas eve dinner. So I researched the problem and realized there are thousands of people with the same problem along with a class action lawsuit for the same issue Im having. Then someone mentioned the temperature not regulating properly. So I got a thermometer and seen that I have it set for 34 degrees and the temp inside was 20 to 44 degrees that I have seen with my own eyes. Over 40 degrees is unsafe for food. They are giving some people a horrible time getting a fix or even a refund. DONT BUY!!!!

Once I started fixing it recently, I found many posts on all the possible fixes. I replaced the case break and it still does not work. I see others say to replace the ECS and main boards. Fridge purchased less than 2 years ago is not cooling. We have the problem for two weeks already. The food gets bad. The upper part of the fridge does not cool. We call Samsung several times. First, a representative was trying to repair it while on the phone. One of those, Mr. **, with very bad attitude. So, we turn off the circuit breaker for 30 seconds, then again for a minute but nothing. After another call, Samsung gave me a repair case number and said someone will call me. Waiting a few days, no one called but Cristina ** sent an email 3 days later to tell me I have to call to schedule the repair. Her office was closed at the time I read it, so I called the next day and left 4 messages. It seems she called in the afternoon and talked to my son who has a disability. My son didnt know much about what was going on, so Cristina decided to cancelled the ticket. I called her the next day to ask her why it was cancelled after I left so many messages but she didnt care, and told me to call Samsung to get another repair case number. This means to wait again a few more days. Now Cristina refuses to do the repair saying that I was rude, yes I was very upset, and Samsung does not have any other company to do the repair. So, Samsung wont do anything even though this fridge is still under warranty.

I would like to report a flaw in the design of the French Door refrigerator
I would like to report a flaw in the design of the French Door refrigerator with bottom freezer drawer-model number RF260BEAESP/AA. The ice maker allows ice to exit the rear of the unit when the freezer drawer is pulled open for removal of frozen food or for ice removal. The ice then is deposited on the freezer floor. This not only wastes ice, it creates a collection of ice cubes which eventually inhibit the secure closing of the freezer drawer. Eventually, the incomplete seal of the closure allows frost to build up on the contents of the freezer. I would hope that Samsung redesigns the ice maker and its location within the freezer drawer.

I was charged a $95 diagnostic fee, even though the tech did nothing except open the fridge and tell me it wasnt worth fixing.I called Samsung on 9/1 (more than 3 weeks ago) and have called back every business day since then to get some sort of customer service. Each Samsung rep tells me something different. I ask names and employee numbers, take notes on each conversation, and all calls are supposedly recorded. Yet the Samsung rep who takes my call NEVER knows anything, always tells me that my claim is being escalated, and I will receive a call back from supervisor within 24-48 hours. How many calls have I received during this 3-week period? Zero, zilch, nada... NOT ONE!!! I am done with shoddy Samsung products. I am done with appallingly bad Samsung customer service. I bought a house with Samsung appliances and and wish I had asked for new ones from a different brand. Pure junk. The stove burners didnt work properly, the oven heat varied all over the oven when baking. The fridge door drawers all cracked and cost too much to bother replacing. The door flap was broke and fridge didnt cool properly. Food spoiled. Now for the junk of a washer that would take half a day to do a load of wash because when it would go to the spin mode, it would unbalance and kick out only to take another twenty mins to finish or do it again and back to twenty mins again. I would recommend to not buy these from this company. They need to stick to cellphones. By the way, the house was seven years old and the dryer was a different make, assuming it died already. Costly replacing all of this because they make crap.
