DW80F600UTS/AA was 18 months old and lightly used (3x month), the smart auto and normal lights flashing. The Samsung repair guy replaced the PCB Main and the sensor ECS. He said the PCB main was an updated one (problems with the one in my dishwasher). Samsung will not pay for parts after 1 year even if lightly used. The repair guy said it is likely to fail again and is only under warranty for 90 days. Do not buy this product. When it fails again it will be used for a drying rack since I dont generate a lot of dishes.

Add me to the list of very unhappy Samsung microwave customers. I had the same problem as everyone else in the same time frame. After just 2 years, the Samsung Microwave SMH9187b started beeping and flashing the SE error code. Samsung was no help, telling us to turn off the breaker. It never reset itself. Then they said they would cover the repair if it was the display but not if it was the box (brain) of the microwave. When I asked how we would know which it was, they said you wont until the repair people came out. Calling repair, they said it would be a minimum of $70 visit fee and $90 for the part. So that would be at least $160. Repair also said it is not the display, that the SE code means more than that. Im very disappointed with Samsung and am now looking for a new microwave. Anyone has any recommendations?

We purchased a Samsung convection oven range and matching refrigerator 13 months ago. Today as I was wiping down the stove I noticed a film/vinyl paint wiped right off around the handle. Obviously I was mortified as it sticks out like a sore thumb and our oven is just one year old!! I feel like we have been duped we thought we are purging black stainless steel products. This is not stainless steel. This is literally some kind of cheap vinyl painted over... Further, we don’t have children, and we did not use it all summer long... It is very gently used and well cared for! We paid a lot and this is beyond crazy that this is happening!!! We reached out to Samsung and they were absolutely worthless because we are past the one year warranty by one month. Further they can’t even help us in getting a replacement piece. And they were very rude! Since we we realize how terrible the products and service are with Samsung.. And because they did NOTHING to help us resolve this issue, we will NEVER buy Samsung products ever again!

I bought this refrigerator because of the high tech features. For weeks I tried to sync my calendar from my phone to the refrigerator screen with no success. I admit I am not that savvy on tech, but I had two people who are and they gave up. I had the box for less than a year. The lock on the water/ice control comes on and you have to go through the screen to find the lock and unlock it. For the second time, the dispenser will not toggle from ice to water. The entire part was replace less than a month ago and I am having the same problem. I love the idea of high tech and the integration but clearly, if you cant get a Samsung phone to sync with the Samsung refrigerator there is a problem. This was NOT a cheap unit so I am frustrated to pay so much and have nothing but problems. The customer service is terrible. They always tell you to reboot the computer or turn off the refrigerator and refresh it by plugging it back in after a minute. Easier said than done. The refrigerator is in a cabinet and I have to roll it out and squeeze in to unplug it and plug it in again. I had a Kenmore for 15 years and never had to unplug it and plug it back in to get it to work. I am very dissatisfied with this appliance.

Two months later, the ice maker quit working again and they came back out and replaced that one. Ten months later, they had to replace it again and now its not working again. How long are these supposed to last? The model number is RF26VABBP; the BOM number RF26VABBP/XXA. I purchased a Samsung refrigerator 400 LTR from Vaishali, **. From the start, the problem was that the upper portion of the fridge is ice-deposited and the lower portion is warm and the vegetable, etc. gets spoiled. When I complained, the person guided me on phone, around six months back, and said that if I switch off the refrigerator for one night, it will be okay, and this worked. But time and again this problem arises. It is the defect of the Samsung technology and why should I suffer> When I complained, they say that the engineer will come and charge 400 Rs for visit, in my view the basic defect should be removed by Samsung free of charges, or they place my fridge with a new one . I purchased it around 20 months back.

After reading Consumers Report Magazine and choosing the top rated products, we went to Best Buy and purchased all three appliances at once. The Oven started smoking (first time used), filled the house with toxic smoke, burnt my ladys face. The microwave exhaust fan never turned on. All this happened within the first time we used the oven. The side by side refrigerator started leaking water and wont stop leaking (water dispenser). Samsung sent out repairman for the range-oven, ordered parts then came back out to finish repairs, tried to use oven again, oven went up in smoke again. SoCalGas Co. came out and RED-tagged the Range-Oven. So far Samsung has blamed us for all the problems. We had to hire an attorney to handle this mess. Samsung has problems with their phones, washing machines, ranges, microwaves, and refrigerators. I wonder whats next?

Stay away from Samsung refrigerators, they suck. Talk to appliance sales re
Stay away from Samsung refrigerators, they suck. Talk to appliance sales representatives and appliance repairmen, they will tell you same thing: Samsung is difficult to deal with.My 5 year old fridge, model #RSG257AARS, freezer section stopped working. This problem started 4.5 years after I purchased this unit. I first sign of problems was when the ice maker stopped making ice. I thought it was a ice maker gone bad problem - INCORRECT, this was the first sign that the freezer section was losing freon. I tried to find a repairman that serviced Samsung products, almost impossible. My appliance repairman (I own several rental units, I have used the same appliance repair guy for 10+ years) told me that Samsungs are hard to work on but not as hard as dealing with the Samsung company. Boy was he right! 6 months later, I finally got a Samsung approved repairman out to diagnosis the problem. The unit needed a $600.00 recharge of the freon system and, due to the delays in finding a qualified repairman, I found myself just outside the actual purchase-receipt-date on the 5 year warranty of the compressor system. Since my unit was technically no longer in warranty, there was nothing Samsung could do for me. I fought the good fight with Samsung and you can read the blow-by-blow description below (My Sad Samsung Story) but the bottom line is that Samsung is way, way too difficult to deal with from a consumer point of view. I think their customer service executives were trained in North Korea. I would avoid these machines and any other Samsung products. They have lost me as a customer. If you do own a Samsung and have any sort of minor problem, call Samsung immediately. Remember to keep your sales receipt. Samsung will not even start a conversation with you unless you have this. The following is an email I sent to the office of the president for Samsung:My Sad Samsung StoryFirst off, I own several Samsung phones and televisions. This is a story about the refrigerator I own and how unsupportive Samsung is when you have a problem. This past December/January, my wife and I noticed the ice maker of our Samsung refrigerator was NOT making ice. We then noticed that ice cream was NOT staying frozen. At first, I thought that with the Holidays and the large amount of use the freezer was getting; it might have a problem keeping up. We continued to monitor the performance of our freezer section and it continued to get worse. At this point I pulled out the unit, removed the access panel at the bottom and thoroughly cleaned the fan and coils. Since we have cats and dogs, I have always cleaned behind our refrigerator every 6 months. The refrigerator worked fine for a week but then went back to NOT keeping items frozen or making ice. With the problem not getting better, we finally started calling appliance service technicians in April. We own several rental properties and every time I have had an appliance problem, I have called a very reliable and trustworthy appliance repairman. He has been working for me for over 10 years. When I called him about my Samsung refrigerator problem, he said he did not work on Samsungs and told me I would have a hard time finding anyone who did. He was right. It took us until May to find someone who agreed to come out and look at the problem but he didn’t make it to our house until June. This guy was from Encore Appliance Repair. While at our home, he spent most of his time on the phone with a Samsung representative trying different diagnostic procedures. They finally agreed that the main circuit board was bad. The board was swapped out a week later and the fridge still didn’t work. Finally got the Encore service man back out and he again spent most of his time on the phone with a Samsung representative. The diagnosis this time was that the Freon needed to be recharged. During the phone conversation, the Samsung representative assured my service man that since my fridge was still under warranty; Samsung would pay to have the unit repaired. I was then instructed to call 1-800-SAMSUNG.My initial conversation with the Samsung representative, Peter, was that I would need to verify the purchase of this unit. I then proceeded to fax, email and text a copy of my receipt to Samsung. The next day I called Samsung and talked to Franklin, he told me that they had not received anything from me but that if my unit was bought in 2009, it would be covered. He then gave me the number of the certified repairman that Samsung uses in my area. This was the service agency that Samsung was going to use for my warranty repair. Franklin told me it would be quicker for me to make an appointment with this appliance repair service than for him to call and set up an appointment. Golden-in home Service came out to my house on Tuesday, June 23rd and told me that a gasket on a fill valve on my fridge’s compressor had failed and I had lost the Freon charge. Cost for repair was $600.00.I called Samsung again and relayed this information to Keisha. She told me that Samsung still did not have any verification of my sales receipt and then she transferred me to Bonnie, an executive service representative. Bonnie listened to my tale and asked me to immediately email her my receipt, which I did. Upon examining it, she said that since my receipt was dated 5/7/2009, the 5 year warranty on my fridge’s compressor expired on 5/7/2014 and there was nothing she could do for me.Needless to say, I was and remain extremely upset. My unit had been failing since December 2013, I finally get in contact with Samsung in June 2014 and they tell me that there is ‘nothing they can do for me’? I may have contacted Samsung shortly after my 5 year warranty expired but I have been actively trying to have this unit fixed since January of this year. It is very upsetting to me that a company, any company, would not stand by a defective product. I remain very upset with Samsung. The Story Continues…After I sent the above email to ‘The Office of the President’ for Samsung, I got a phone call from Shawna, a Samsung executive service representative. She listened to my sad tale and asked me some questions concerning what exactly the service technician had told me. It just so happens that the Appliance repair Company, the one I used to diagnose my fridge; called and that morning, about 45 minutes prior to Shawna, and told me that in their opinion, our fridge ‘was not worth fixing’. Keep in mind that this is the company Samsung recommended and told me to use. Ms. Shawna then said she needed to talk this service company, Golden-In-House appliance repair, and verify their findings. She told me that Samsung would either pay for my repairs or credit me a prorated portion of my initial purchase cost. She also promised to call back that same day.About 6+ hours later, Ms. Shawna called back and told me that since my refrigerator was fixable, Samsung would be willing to pay for the parts to fix it but NOT the labor. The repair quote by Golden-in-Home was for $600.00, mostly labor. I pointed out to Shawna that the repair service had recommended I NOT repair this unit, their direct quote was that it was that ‘it was not worth it’ to repair this fridge. Shawna argued that the unit could be repaired, if we were willing to pay for the repair. I told her that my household had been turned upside down long enough with this problem and we wanted to get a new fridge. I told her I wanted to have Samsung prorate the purchase price of my fridge. She said Samsung would not ‘buy back’ this defective fridge until I had tried to repair it. Shawna said she could submit a request for a buy back to her boss but it would be turned down. I then realized that Shawna had no power to resolve my situation. I told her that I was very upset with Samsung and that they would be losing a customer. She acknowledged that this was an unfortunate situation for me and then she asked, “Is there anything else I could help me with today”? I didn’t bother to point out the fact that she hadn’t helped in the first place. Conclusion: Stay away from Samsung. They don’t know the first thing about making the customer happy or honoring their warranties.

My husband and I purchase a Samsung (NE59J630SG/AA) electric range on 3/19/2016. My complaint is the the front left burner had formed an air bubble. I called Samsung customer service and was told they will send someone out to look and take pictures and get back with me with their solution to my situation. I received a phone call telling me that our electric range is not covered under the 1 year warranty because it is a cosmetic problem even though we only had it less than three months. Needless to say if I had to do over again I WILL NOT be buying any major appliances from Samsung.

I purchased the Samsung dual convection steam wall oven in March of 2018, after about a week I noticed that it started to reset itself, just turn off and on. After I noticed this several times I scheduled service to have it repaired. Sad to say that after 8 visits to my house and just about every part replaced they still didn't fix it. March of 2019 my 1 year warranty expired and the problem continued. I finally contacted Samsung directly using the chat feature on Saturday August 3rd. I received a phone call the following Monday asking a questions about the oven and she told me I would be receiving a refund.. She emailed me a claim form, I followed the instructions and sent in the required photos and 2 weeks later they sent me a check for $3236.00... They said if I would have contacted them prior to the warranty expiring they would have given me a full refund of $3699.00. Either way I'm happy and I think this is great customer service.

Purchased a Samsung refrigerator, Model # RF217ACBP in July 2012. Within 6 months, the ice maker broke and there would be huge amounts of water sitting in the produce bins. Had the ice maker replaced by the Sears tech and just emptied water from bins. Then, 1 month after warranty expired, the fridge started making a loud noise and would not ever stop. The 6 cooling vents in the refrigerator ice up and the temp is about 50 degrees causing all the food to spoil. I have unplugged it and defrosted it numerous times but within a week or two, it ices up again and all food is lost. I contacted Sears, where we purchased it and asked why they carry and sell a product that is obviously defective. They gave me a number to call for Samsung. Called them and they said that it was covered by them for 5 years but I would have to pay for the first service call but everything after that was covered. In reading ALL of the complaints online, I learned that to fix the problem was approx $500 and that only lasts for a short time until the problem returns. This Samsung product should be recalled since there are thousands of complaints regarding the same issue. We dont have a lot of money and a refrigerator that is less than 2 years old should not have a problem that is obviously a design flaw that does not have a permanent fix or repair. I have called local repairmen and none of them want to work on it because they know it cant be fixed and do not want to pit their reputation on the line. How can something like this with the magnitude of complaints not be addressed?

Our out of warranty fridge is corroding on the lower corners of our ice/water dispenser door. The corrosion is getting worse and becoming an eyesore. It is an obvious craftsmanship or material problem. The Samsung Company does not stand behind their products. Their customer service people are terrible, trying to blame it on the way we clean, the environment or rough use. I saved for over a year to be able to purchase what I thought was a top of the line refrigerator. When Lowes had this 4 door refrigerator on sale, I jumped at the chance to purchase. The first day the refrigerator was plugged in, the digital board on the ice maker would not work. My son finally got it to work after we unplugged the unit and plugged it back in. About a month later, the same thing happened. I called technical support and they helped me to get the unit going again. Tonight when I got home from work, the ice machine would not work. I call support again and spoke to a gentleman that could not be understood. When I figured out that he could not help, I asked to speak to someone else. I got to speak to the woman from hell. Even though I told her that my refrigerator was new and that I had taken the extended service agreement, she informed me that I would have to pay someone to repair my refrigerator because I needed to be educated on how to use it. Well, I do know that I should not have to unplug my new refrigerator 3 times in 3 months to keep the digital panel from freezing up. Lowes told me not to call the technical support number again but to call them directly because I could not count on Samsung to help me with my problem. I wish I had read the negative reviews before spending over $2000 on a unit that does not work.

Samsung Model RF263AEPN/XAA - Seven (7) weeks ago my refrigerator began not keeping as cold as it should. When I tried to turn down the temperature it would turn down but then immediately return to the same not really cold state it had been working at. Sounded like it should be an easy problem to fix. However, I called several repair places who told me they would not, or could not, work on Samsung refrigerators as they were not made like other refrigerators, were hard to work on, and parts were hard to come by as only one place in the United States carries the parts. I finally found a repair place that came out and replaced some items and charged us hundreds of dollars, however the refrigerator was still not cold. I called again and the repair person returned. The next time two workers were sent out to look at the refrigerator. On one of the visits I was told me it needed a new green computer board. The repair person ordered the part and came back, only to find that the part sent was not the part that had been requested. This same scenario played out two more times, with today being the last day. I called Samsung and was given the run-around. During todays visit the repair person showed me what had been ordered and the order matched the part number on what he said the refrigerator needed. However, when he showed me the part that had been sent to him, it was the wrong part number. Are Samsung workers so inept at their jobs that the correct part number cannot be sent on three occasions? I will never again buy any Samsung products. I had to laugh as while I was on hold with Samsungs customer relations today, I was put on hold and what did I hear expect that Samsung products are the best. This is a false advertisement to the general consumer. I would urge anyone reading this to NOT BUY SAMSUNG PRODUCTS for several reasons, e.g. parts are hard to come by due to Samsung not making sure their parts pullers have adequate education to do the job they are hired to do, there is only one provider of Samsung parts in the United States, and the normal repair person cannot repair a Samsung. Tonight, my husband and I will go out and find a new refrigerator and I am sure it will not cost the $2,300 that this Samsung did, and the new refrigerator will be able to be worked on by pretty much any refrigerator repair person. I have an appointment to meet with a Lawyer this afternoon about this whole situation and hopefully that will help to alleviate some of the frustration that I am feeling now.

Purchased Samsung FTQ307 in 2012, extended warranty. After 3 years of wonderful use it burns out the inverter and power control board. Contacted Lowes for warranty and they stipulate its out of warranty. I make the purchase to replace burned out cards. It worked for 4 days and burns out in the same fashion. Contacted Lowes again to verify warranty information and then it was under warranty when it originally broke but is not anymore. Contacted Samsung. The glass-top and internals under the glass-top are cover under a 5 year parts warranty. They honored said warranty and added in the labor too since it originally failed under the extended warranty. Technician came out to repair but did not have all the parts. They were on back order. Samsung placed paperwork in to reimburse cost of parts that I installed and began the process of doing a buy back. A few days later Samsung said they never said they were going to reimburse parts cost and that they were would never offer a buy back. Repair guy came out and repaired the stove. 2 hours later it burned out again. Samsung and the repair company have a 30 day labor and 60 day parts warranty. Samsung has now voided all warranty to everything. All my major appliances are Samsung. I will be selling them all with a different company and will not ever own a Samsung device again. In the whole process of dealing with Samsung, they would say and/or offer one thing and the next day take it back or say it never happened. And with the actual repair company Samsung stated that the technician said it was because it was repaired by my hand that I caused the issue, when in fact they did not say that.

So now in the fall and winter every several months I have to take out the top tray of the freezer and crack the ice behind it, wait till it falls on the floor and then clean it up, then the drawer will close. I have done everything they have told me to try and resolve this problem. Now I guess the next step is to call a repair facility to correct a design flaw of Samsung. I wonder if there is a class action lawsuit out there against Samsung. I would like to get in on it! I have already told many people not to purchase Samsung.

I preferred to select 0 stars but that is not an option. I purchased a bottom freezer fridge on 7/26/2007, Model RB195BSSW. For several days, the freezer isnt working properly and the fridge isnt cooling sufficiently. This morning, a Best Buy technician came out to troubleshoot and determined the circuit board needs replacing. I called Samsung since the fridge is less than 5 years old. No help, the person on the phone just kept telling me I could go through Best Buy to fix the issue or have Samsung come out at my additional expense. This is unacceptable for a product that is less than 5 years old. Ive purchased many Samsung products in the past - TV, cellphones and never (knock on wood) have had an issue. I am very disappointed in their product and lack of service.

I purchased a Samsung Model # RF28HDEDBSER (with French doors and freezer on the bottom) from Lowes about two years ago for about $3,000. After a year the iced maker broke down and we no longer have ice, it also makes a grinding noise. Now about 6 months later the refrigerator is barely cold enough to keep our food cold and the digital feature is malfunctioning and shows that it does not maintain a proper temperature; it keeps shutting off. We are very disappointed in this product, so we were not surprised now to discover many complaints with the same issues.Just filed a complaint on the Samsung website but do not expect them to respond, they said they would respond but kept me waiting in the chat for more than 10 minutes. Please do not buy their refrigerators they are not worth it and the honorable thing would be for them to replace a refrigerator that we expected to function for at least 5 years. It also makes me wonder about the quality of their other products. We dont have $3,000 just to buy refrigerators.

We purchased a Samsung glass top slide-in stove a year and a half ago. It suddenly developed a thermal crack on the glass top. After many calls to Samsung, often times they would hang up on me, they denied any responsibility even though the owners manual states that there is a 5 year guarantee on the glass cooktop. They claim they are only responsible for the heating element. I will NEVER purchase another Samsung product. The stove does not get that much use and has not been abused.

Terrible quality. Why? Poor construction, handle breaks easily, uneven, low powered heating, turntable malfunction. Bought it to match a Samsung stove. First mistake. As usual, Samsung has all the technologies but refuses to manufacture quality products that perform as good as they look i.e. all Samsung cell phones, the Ceran-top convection oven. Stay away from this brand. LG is much better in most instances.

It only takes one bad experience. With that said I will never ever buy another Samsung product again after this last experience. For the last two weeks Ive been dealing with Samsung and the most awful, horrible, unprofessional customer service in 2015. They refuse to just take care of a customer as a priority. My $3600 refrigerator that is less than two years old and all I get is Maam we will get back to you. Maam you will have to wait 24 to 48 hours. Maam you will have to wait 24 to 72 hours. We dont know when that will be. Most disgusted by the Samsung Company.

I have had the Samsung SMH9187ST microwave for just over 3 years now. Yesterday I got the SE error code. Tried unplugging and recycling which did not work to clear the code. This sounds like it is a very common problem with these microwaves due to moisture. An over the stove microwave should be designed to handle being over the stove. What a load of crap. I will try fixing this myself and then calling Samsung to try to get them to repair this at no expense to me. I have a Samsung fridge as well and have had no issues with it.

We purchased a Samsung Convection oven from The Home Depot in Jasper Georgia for a new home. The range main control board has failed after 18 months. I contacted Samsung and they set up a Samsung authorized service company to contact me. When contacted I asked the service company for a copy of their general liability insurance only to find out they were uninsured.I then contacted a reputable technician who confirmed that the control board was bad. I contacted Samsung and they would not consider replacing it. I also informed them that they were trying to send out authorized Samsung service companies that are uninsured and that did not seem to phase them. Therefore, I would not recommend purchasing their products.

DW80F600UTS - Do not buy this dishwasher! I ignored the bad reviews thinking it would be okay... its not! Since day one it has been pathetic at washing dishes. Now barely one year into it, just past warranty, the leak sensor breaks (there is no leak). The dishwasher shuts itself down after a few minutes and the lights blink. I called Samsung several times to troubleshoot and they were no help. Sears repair came out and diagnosed a broken sensor that costs $120 and $145 to install. That is $270 for a practically new dishwasher. Please save your time and money and do not buy a Samsung dishwasher!

I purchased a stainless steel Samsung dishwasher from PC Richard. I used it for almost 13 months until It started having problems with the blinking lights on the control panel. I contacted the store which then gave me the customer service number for Samsung. When I finally reached the help desk, I was told the warranty had expired and if I wanted a service tech to come fix the problem, it would cost $125 just to come and check what was causing the problem and then I would have to pay for new parts. This is a disgrace, since it was not even a month that the warranty had expired. I looked for recalls on this model#DW80F600 series. Customer service was rude and completely disacknowledged my complaint.

We purchased a Samsung french door refrigerator in 2012. It has an external ice and water, along with the bottom freezer and a drawer that has various options. Since 2014, we have had significant problems with the ice maker. The repair person has been here 5-6 times attempting to fix what he calls a manufacturing and engineering defect. Apparently he has seen this problem multiple times. It doesnt make ice, then it makes ice but it all melts and refreezes in a solid block. It continued this cycle over and over until it burned out its fan. Multiple calls to Samsung have gotten me nowhere except that I have now spent nearly $1000 trying to fix a $2500 appliance that is still brand new.

Bought this Samsung model #DW80H9930US dishwasher 8 months ago. The piece of crap starting leaking on its third use and has never stopped. The dishwasher leaks from the doors and seems beneath the door. It has never latched properly so that when if and when it ever reaches a steam cycle without human intervention, the steam escapes from the top of the dishwasher and soaks the entire counter top which then drips to the floor too. Sometimes, I would excited because I only had to intervene with the door twice during a cycle to ensure washing completion. 8 months later, I have to re-latch the door six times to complete the cycle while the dishwasher pisses all over the floor. Ive had Samsung out two times already to fix this never ending problem to no avail and I am working on my third time now.Getting in touch with someone to speak with at Samsung who can get me to the right person to fix the damn thing is a nightmare. After speaking with at least two people who I have to repeatedly ask to repeat themselves because of thick middle eastern accents, I am then told to email all of my proof of purchase receipts to an unnamed department without any point of contact information, whom I am told will get back to me within 24 hours. It then goes from 24 hours to 48 hours (as told by the third person with an accent). When I clarify with her that in two days I should be receiving a call, she tells me that its 48 BUSINESS HOURS! So I now have to wait another week before I even get a call back to tell me they have verified I made the purchase legitimately.So... I email my proof of purchase to a totally different group of people (apart from the customer service reps with accents) and they get back with me about 17 hours later, with an e-mail telling me I need to upload the documents instead of emailing the documents; more time wasted. This is Samsung!!! And when they call me back about four days later, with a blessing stating they believe I made the purchase, they call a company in California who contracts with repairmen in my state who will eventually come to my house to look at the leaking monstrosity. And if they dont get it fixed on that visit, I have to start the process over again. I am disgusted with Samsung and will never. DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG APPLIANCES. There is a class action lawsuit with their washing machines right now. I am surprised there is not a class action for the dishwashers. Anyone know a good torte attorney???

Someone comes and fixes the gasket... I have got loads of food wasted because this fridge just stops cooling after every few days. Multiple complaints with Samsung. As many of us do I bought my Samsung four door refrigerator on sale at Lowes. I paid $1,800 for a nearly $3,500 unit. I thought I was getting an awesome deal. Then the ice maker started acting up and I had to have it repaired about every 3 months until they deemed the unit defective but the repairman had told me several occasions that he come that he had prepared multitude of the exact same problem the ice maker in that exact same unit. So I tell Samsung that I really dont want to get the same unit and they you know I had been originally told that repair place it was something better. Better means more valuable and or a newer model or the exact same thing one. Now Im being told that I have to take the $1,800 that I paid for it which I cant replace it for because its not on sale right now and pretty much eat it even though I just bought two other matching Samsung appliances. I am pretty furious and I hope that this gets resolved.

My dad, my brother, my father-in-law, and my brother-in-law told me not to go with Samsung, but I didnt listen. Now, Im paying the price. In less than 8mo Ive had 5 technician visits to attempt to fix my dishwasher. After 5 visits I finally got frustrated, and decided to call samsung to see if they would replace my dishwasher since its obviously defective. In short, their answer was no! First time the dishwasher broke was about 4mo after I purchased it. It would stop mid cycle with an error code which meant that it got too hot. That took 2 visits and as many weeks to repair. At the 7mo mark (July 1st), it stopped washing the dishes in the bottom rack properly. I contacted Samsung July 3rd. It’s July 24th and the dishwasher is still not repaired. Technician came out and said that he had to replace two parts, the bottom spray rail and the control panel. He had to order them. That was visit #3. Visit #4 was when he came to replace the parts. After a couple of hours of work the dishwasher was still not repaired. He said that there was another part broken, the motor that moves the rail. He’s suppose to come back Wednesday, July 29th. In the past 8mo, according to my count, 4 different parts have broken on Samsung’s “top of the line” dishwasher. I hope my review keeps someone from making the same mistake I made. moral of the story: listen to advice...do not buy samsung appliances. Theyre inferior quality. They look nice on the outside, but theyre garbage on the inside.

I'll probably buy the boxcar next week, or maybe a new train entirely, but I digress. I just purchased all new Samsung kitchen appliances. The dishwasher was broken. It ran, but would not turn off even when I opened the door. I had to turn off circuit breaker. Called Lowes, and they replaced with a new one. They were great about it as I said I did not intend on having to pay my contractor a second time to install it, they completed the installation. Now it runs, but does not dry dishes. I purchased the rinse agent as I was advised, used it, still does not dry dishes. Today I used the sanitize option which was suggested in manual to get dishes dry...still not dry. I also have a very bad smell coming from dishwasher when there are no dirty dishes in it. It smells like garbage. So today I called Lowes and spoke to my salesman. I am NOT going to re-purchase a Samsung. He is going to have his department manager call me tomorrow. Again, I dont want to pay installation, but either way I am so disappointed. So far I am happy with refrigerator, stove, and microwave, but have only had them two weeks.

Samsung Refrigerator Model RF268ABPN delivered from Best Buy on 14 May 2010. Display malfunctioned on 22 Feb 2012. Display for ice maker on/off, dispenser display lights are erroneous and show locked for water, nothing for crushed ice, and the Fahrenheit symbol constantly displays. Ice maker control displays are constantly showing off. On 29 Feb 2012, the freezer ice maker is noted as not working.1 Mar 2012, Samsung support contacted. The support tech doesnt comprehend the spoken word as spoken. Multiple attempts were made before tech could comprehend the word malfunctioning and erroneous display. I was advised to make sure the water valve in the wall was on, despite not having one. I was advised to reset the ice maker, which was done, and then was told to make sure the control shows ice maker not locked, which cant be done with piece of crap Chinese display that is malfunctioning. I was advised that the water filter might be clogged, despite good flow from the dispenser. The tech was obviously reading off a check list, and has no clue.I was informed that the warranty is only 1 year, but they would contact a repair tech if I would have to pay for myself. One year? Seriously? We handed out $1,800.00 for a fridge with a one year warranty, that is essentially useless after less than two years. If the repair bill is over $300, its going in the dump. I am done with Samsung and their Chinese made trash period. I get better service, support and warranty out of a pair of $100 boots.

Houseful of Samsung Appliances and now I am stuck. Microwave takes forever to boil a cup of water for tea. Cheap handle broke off after 2 years. Dishwasher doesnt clean dishes, you must basically wash by hand before you put them in. French door refrigerator crapped under 3 yrs. Paid over $900 to fix. Icemaker was part of that fix, now a little over a year it stopped working again. Stove knobs all broke off gas stove... under 3 yrs old. Also dont bother using the cleaning mode on your gas stove. Its known to get so hot it fries the circuit board. Costly repair I had on that one.Washer tears clothes and cant use bleach anymore because it goes through the compartment prematurely and blotches my load. TVs lasted no more than 3 years and my phone sucks. I have wasted so much money let alone time waiting for service people to show... or not to show. Customer service... a total joke. Never willing to resolve issues. I have over $8000 in home appliances and electronics that, unfortunately dont know when they will see their day. But when its time, Samsung will never again be my choice. Cant afford to buy junk anymore. But they dont care. They got my money. Dont let them get yours!

A Samsung stove was delivered to me on 11/15/14. I had no need to use the interior of the stove for several days, when I did - on approx. 11/22/14 - I found that the oven would not heat. I reported to Samsung who sent out reps to look at it. They found that due to faulty wiring in the unit that a fire had started and burned out the inside. This could have done major damage to our home. In a quick summary, it has now been 2 months and I still do not have a replacement stove. I have had to order in and eat many meals out, including Christmas dinner which I was expected to host for 13 people. I have 3 young children and have not been able to prepare them proper meals. Samsung could care less. Their customer service is awful. They are lucky my house is still standing! The receipt attached is from Home Depot, but I have been dealing with Samsung for a replacement. I bought a Samsung dishwasher about 2 years ago. I paid over $450 for it and did not buy the warranty. Buyer beware... The smart auto light came on and the unit wont complete a cycle. Im a single father of 3 and need all the help I can get. I called Samsung and they were happy to send a service guy out for me to pay to fix it. Id rather catch my ** in the ringer than pay them money for a product that lasted two years. I will save my pennies and put them towards a company that has a better track record.

My range stopped working on January 12th. I called Samsung. I was told there isnt a warranty and that they dont support their products for more than a year. If I spend a few thousand dollars on an appliance, I expect better. The person I spoke to was rude and short and basically said tough. I know getting those calls from unhappy customers isnt always fun, but usually manufacturers of product take pride in their work and stand behind it. It is what it is. Turns out a wire, for some reason shorted out on 12th of January. My range is 2.5 years old. When that happened, the techs ordered some parts thinking it was the terminal that blew (guess it happens a lot). They had to order parts. They came out on January 18th and guess what? It wasnt the terminal. It was a short in a wire. But also the motherboard blew out. They ordered a new one and came back on January 20th, but the new board fresh out of the box, was cracked and didnt work. So they ordered another one. They came today, January 25th and that board, fresh out of the box was cracked also. I have been without a working range for 2 weeks now! I contacted Samsung about their less than stellar quality of parts and they informed me it was the service techs were not Samsung Authorized. Ha! They sure are. I am not opposed to paying for service. Its like a new car, you have to have service it. For me its about the quality of the product.I have never in my life been so disappointed in a product I purchased. I am so deeply discouraged in this company right now. How can Samsung, in good faith promote a product that only last a couple years? Then all of the parts that have been ordered are broken also? Thats wrong. The less than acceptable quality portrayed by Samsung is completely unacceptable. The moral of the story is this. I will never again purchase a Samsung Product. I will not recommend it to a friend and I will not give a 5 star rating to this kind of support, service or quality. I am telling everyone I know to never invest in Samsung. You do not stand behind your products. The quality of the product is less than stellar and consumers deserve better. I deserve better!

I purchased a Samsung refrigerator in 2013 RS265TDRS. Immediately the ice maker had issues, and I have to continue to defrost the ice maker monthly and the dispenser gets clogged. It was embedded in the door, now I see they have abandoned that approach. My bigger issue is that this year the refrigerator stopped working and wouldnt cool. The temperature gauge showed 38 degrees but it was warm and all food spoiled. Had to pay a repairman to come out and tell us this is a common problem with Samsung refrigerators and they need to be defrosted constantly, especially in humid areas and not to use the energy saving setting. He basically indicated the auto defrost is no longer working and it would be cheaper to buy a new fridge than to fix this one. Even though Samsung shows 10 year warranty on the compressor, what good is that if you cant use the fridge after only 6 years and after talking to Samsung they only cover their product for 1 year. Lowes had a 3 year extended warranty. Repairman said he has better experiences with other brands.

The ice maker leaks water on the outside of fridge and freezes on the inside. When going online for a possible fix there are tons of the same complaint. There is even a class action lawsuit on this product. When I contacted Samsung they wouldnt do anything to fix issue. I purchased a complete Samsung kitchen set. We have had the Samsung dishwasher about 4 years and this is the 4th time we have had the same trouble. The machine comes on and then you can hear the water going to the washer and then you hear it pumping out. Then the lights come on indicating low water level. According to the owner manual the first it happen it was still in warranty. The repairman came out and replaces a sensor box on the side of the washer. The second time it happen about a year later my husband took the sensor box off and replaced it. It wasnt under warranty. We cant afford to call the repairman. The last time I took everything from the washer and ran a couple cups of vinegar through a cycle and it has worked fine until this time I tried to run the washer again with vinegar but it didnt work. I will never get another Samsung appliance again. We also have a refrigerator that has some problems but thank the Good Lord it still works. The model # for the dishwasher is DMT 400RHSAAX. SN is A3JAG9MZ A03217D. We bought the dishwasher at Sears in Shelby NC.

Cost about $2800. Pros: great energy savings, LED light, very well lighted inside and good use of space. Cons: The drawers are not seamless so food, spilled juices, spilled sauces flows into the seams and will NEVER come clean. The glass shelves are not seamless and the same issue with cleaning is the result. The Ice maker worked great for the 1st year after which it continuously leaks water down the front of the door and makes a high pitch whining noise 24/7. Samsung will not warranty the ice maker. The French doors do not open all the way so it is a real struggle pulling out the drawers and shelves. Recommendation: NEVER purchase a Samsung fridge... EVER AGAIN.

About 5 years ago I purchased a Samsung RF217ACRS wide french door refrigerator. This unit has been nothing but trouble since about 1 day after the warranty ended. In the past 2.5 years I have spent about as much money on repairs as on the original purchase. The control panel continues to freeze up, ice blocks the drain, the panel has been replaced twice, several other parts have been replaced yet nothing appears to solve the problem of water all over the bottom of the unit. The vegetable bins always have water in the bottom. Each repair person that has been to the house has reiterated that they intensely dislike working on Samsung however their appliances keep them in business. I will never purchase a Samsung appliance again.

The Dishwasher requires a special water valve that ONLY Samsung sells separately. ie: You need a Samsung installer to deal with the issue since Home Depot, Lowes and local hardware stores have never seen this type of valve. The stove top blister after the first time. After a visit from their tech people they stated.... Thats the way it works and its normal. Worst (and most expensive) refrigerator Ive ever had. Ordered the perfect fridge but kept getting offers for replacement (different) models that didnt have same features. Finally settled on completely different model and have nothing good to say about it. Drawers are not smooth and are noisy. It makes random noises all day/night. When getting crushed ice for a normal sized glass, it goes all over the place. The doors neither open nor close easily. You have to completely shut off the water supply to replace the filter. It doesnt even have a section for butter. Literally hoping this thing dies by some random act of God so I can justify replacing it.

I have a 5 year old Samsung French door refrigerator. The refrigerator compartment is cooled by what they call a cooling tower. This is a very poor design. It frosts up behind the panel and the fan stops working and the fridge wont cool. I defrosted mine but it didnt help. Service replaced the cooling tower and within 45 days I was having same problem. After some very poor local service they are going to replace the cooling tower again. The replacement part is noisy and fridge temp bounces between 42 and 50 while set at 34. I wont buy another Samsung fridge. A fridge should last at least 10 years. I had to replace a $200 board for the freezer after 2 years. After paying 3 $90 service fees, $116 for tower and $32 for drain kit I have spent over $600 total in repairs for this fridge in 5 years.

It is hard to get anyone to work on this piece of trash and the parts are very hard to find. Once I found the parts on the internet, I was told the main part was on back order (the main circuit board) because of high demand. That is a shame. No part to a refrigerator should be in high demand. That means it is a manufacturer problem and it should have been recalled. This is frustrating and costly. Everyone who purchased this piece of junk should receive some type of reimbursement.

So I called Samsung... and was told that indeed they are NOT doing that... that I needed to contact the local repair person. So I did... and he told me to call Samsung again and lie to them that I was worried my microwave was going to burn down my house... thus forcing them to provide the free part (and service to install). In the meantime, the ice maker stopped working. The icing has become a problem again, and the tech says he needs a main control, which he has been unable to order. I contacted Customer Service at Samsung to inquire about purchasing the part, but have received no answer. Big regrets, Samsung appliances are terrible. Purchased a 28 ft.³ Samsung French door refrigerator at Home Depot in 2015, within a year started having trouble with the icemaker. It freezes over, Samsung solution is to defrost it. I’ve done that for years. Now it’s getting worse, I used to be able to go a few months. Now can barely go a few weeks. It is an extreme inconvenience and definitely not something I expected out of a refrigerator that costs as much as this one. My only advice AVOID SAMSUNG unless you enjoy headaches & shady business ethics - oh and junk appliances!! This is a design defect and Samsung knows this yet will not recall these big hunks of junk. It is criminal what they’re getting away with!

We had a technician come out and fix these problems. This was only a few months ago. Recently, I had noticed our milk didnt seem that cold even though the temp read 38 degrees. The problem started getting worse so we reset the fridge by unplugging it. This made the temp gauge work again and the true temperature was 66 degrees! My husband and I purchased a Samsung refrigerator in August of 2015; it was not the most expensive refrigerator but it was far from the cheapest. About a month after the refrigerator was installed, we started hearing this really loud noise while the refrigerator was running, as if the refrigerator was a jet about to take off. The noise gradually got louder over time, so every time the refrigerator started running, we would hear this loud noise. The noise was so loud that we could not hear our television in the other room. I contacted Samsung about the concern and they sent out a technician who claimed the noise was normal for all Samsung refrigerators. After the technician left, I called Samsung to speak with a manager and the manager advised me to record the noise and call back; I did just this the same week. The representative at Samsung that listened to the recording of my refrigerator stated that the noise is not normal and that the compressor is going out and needs to be replaced along with a hose. I was told that day that these items were being ordered (this was approximately 2 months ago now). I have called several times to find out what is going on with the parts because no one has come by to install them. Samsung transfers me from person to person and department to department; the only answer I get is there is a ticket for the parts. No one can tell me what is going on and no one offers any assistance. Samsung appliances are by far the worst! Do not purchase Samsung appliances!!! We have a refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, microwave, washer and dryer all from Samsung and the only appliance that works properly is the oven!!! I will never again purchase anything from Samsung and I advise all others to run the other way! Their appliances are horrible and their customer service is even worse! They do not stand behind their warranty and will transfer you around until you either give up or they can claim its out of warranty so they no longer have to help.

I bought this French door Samsung refrigerator cause the one that came with the house I bought had died. After looking at both Home Depot, H. H. Gregg, Lowe’s and Best Buy - I settled on this model RF268ABWP at Lowe’s in white. A little background - I went to culinary institute of America at Greystone and have been a professional chef for over 30 years - I know my way around a kitchen and appliances. This Samsung is the worst - there’s just not hardly any storage room in freezer and it continually ices up to the point the drawer/door is open and water/ ice melts on to the kitchen floor. The door at several places has started to rust, underneath the coolselect crisper drawer in the main body of fridge also continually ices up and the drawer starts to be pushed out. Have to thaw ice jam and remove ice sheet and then dry out fridge bottom and freezer drawer bottom. Complete pain in the **. Called Lowe’s customer service and nothing, also called Samsung and nothing no help. After reading and digging around on internet found that it’s a design flaw and company knew about it but refuses to fix. If I could fit on my boat it would be at the bottom of some lake. Complete junk and a waste of over 1400 bucks - my advice to anyone buying a new or used fridge - stay away from Samsung.

I bought a package deal of Samsung appliances when I moved into a new home. Fridge, Microwave, Stove and dishwasher. After 3 months the dishwasher started to leak. We had numerous service calls to fix it. It would be fixed for a short time and then leak again. At one point it quit completely. We had to shut the breaker off because it just kept flashing and beeping. Eventually they deemed it unfixable and was to issue us a check for the cost of the dishwasher in March 2017. We purchased the Samsung Dishwasher to match our other Samsung appliances, both of which we have never had an issue with. The washer has broken once on month for the year we have had it. We have had innumerable service calls. They have replaced the main board twice. Everything from the pump to the latch have been replaced. Multiple error codes, the machine never works. We are always hand washing dishes, either because we are waiting in service, or if the machine is working you have to wash them before you put them in the dishwasher, per our service man, our dishes were too dirty. Or you have to wash them when they come out of the dishwasher because they are dirtier than they were when you put them in. The dishwasher recirculates the nasty water, evenly distributes it around to all your dishes and then bakes the dirt on in the heated dry cycle. Our friends have a 1990 broke down dishwasher. The door wont shut on. It sound like street sweeper, but it gets the dishes cleaner than our Samsung. What a shame! Our factory warranty is a service warranty, they will just keep fixing it till the service tech deems in unrepairable. You would think someone would have the sense to replace the machine and cut costs. Sounds like even if they did I would still have issues.

I have a Samsung Side By Side Refrigerator that broke but was under warranty for the sealed system. It broke in 4 years but this Samsung warranty is useless. They will not stand by and honor this warranty. They sent a repairman to my house who misdiagnosed the problem and replaced a part that didnt need replacing which I had to pay for out of pocket. He then told me since the fridge is not working that there is a problem with the sealed system which is under warranty and I wont have to pay anything for parts or labor. He then said that his company is not certified to repair sealed systems so Ill have to find a sealed system company.I notified Samsung and they sent the same repairman to my house which shows you how much of a joke this company is. I called Samsung again to tell them that their technician is not qualified for sealed systems. They then sent a different company to my house. The repairman from the second company told me that they are not qualified to do sealed system work. Finally they send a third guy to my house from a company that does fix sealed systems but he claims that my warranty does not cover labor only parts. It is clear from my paperwork and owners manual that the warranty covers both parts and labor for 5 years on the sealed system so Im not sure how he can claim that.I called Samsung and they tell me they will create a new work order which will cover parts and labor. However, when it comes time for my appointment they of course schedule it with the original company who claims not to be qualified for sealed system repairs. This is by far the worst customer service Ive ever experienced with any product or company in my life. Avoid this company if you care at all about the value of customer service. Last year at the Black Friday sale I purchase the French door Samsung fridge and a Samsung dishwasher. Terrible experience. Fridge and dishwasher came defective. I paid warranty on both. After so much trouble they finally fixed my fridge, which would make this terrible noise, like an old car. Now, with the dishwasher for which I paid 700 dollars, came with a defective rail on one of the trays, and also the door is defective. Neither Lowes or Samsung have been able to help me. They said is nothing they can do. Even with the warranty. I havent been able to use my dishwasher and I still making payments on it. Never in my life I will buy or recommend Samsung products again. And not at Lowes either. They are the worst.

Samsung is horrible! I purchased a Samsung Bottom Mount Freezer in April of 2010 from Sears. I was told that it was rated five stars by Consumer Reports. Best fridge out there for my price range, according to the sales guy. In August of 2011, my freezer section was heating up. To make a long story short, Samsung told me to deal with it since it has a one year warranty and they dont know how long their appliances last. I called every repair man in my area but no one will work on Samsung because they are so hard to deal with and get parts for.I ended up with Sears Home Appliance Repair. They are the only ones willing to work on this product. Three weeks later and $500.00 worth of meat spoiled, I get the guy to my house only to find out that my condenser and compressor are broken and heating up. Did I mention that I was also getting water in the fridge part under the cold cut drawer, which apparently was caused by a clogged drain line? Really. How does all this happen to a brand new fridge? It takes two weeks to get my parts only to find out that they were already broken when I received them.Another two weeks later, my fridge parts come in. Get this. The freezer section caught on fire as soon as the parts were put in by their certified technician. He soldered through my firewall and burnt out the whole bottom of my freezer. I am told that Samsung and/or Sears will replace the unit for free and that the fridge section is okay to use since the repairman took out all the bad parts. Two days later, the fridge caught on fire again. Luckily, I was home to throw it out my front door at 8 oclock on a Sunday night. My house smells like smoke, all my food is destroyed, and the service woman on the phone had the ** to tell me that I should be grateful that I was offered $500.00 in a voucher to Sears towards a new appliance since their service man did not want to do the job anyway. It took me six days of nonstop phone calls to customer service to get my money back--a full refund. If I did not take three hours a day out of my life to hound every person, I would still be waiting for those people to review my case. All I expect is a product that works longer than one year, is that so bad? And if, for some reason, beyond my control, that appliance stops working, is it wrong to ask for a fair treatment and a full refund to replace it? I had to work hard to get these Customer Service people to treat me like I was a customer. My advice is do not give up. Make them see that they cant keep doing this and get away with it.I am done with any Samsung appliance and I am done with shopping at Sears. They are unfair, rude and thieves. I am happy to get my money back so I can go buy a Frigidaire. They cost a little more but they work. I was fooled by the fancy lights and options. Now, I am going back to simple clean and reliable. Dont buy Samsung. If I wasnt home, what would have happened to my house when the fridge caught on fire? Buyers, beware! They dont care about you; they care about your money!

After only four years, the evaporator went out with this horrendous noise. Had tough time finding a Samsung repairman in my area. When I called their support line I was told to trouble shoot. In no way was this a trouble shooting matter. I was finally put in touch with a repairman who would actually work on the thing. The evaporator was changed out. The next week, the fan in the new evaporator went out. A whole new evaporator was ordered and put in. This took approximately three weeks. After another two weeks, the refrigerator was not cooling. The repairman came back and said that the unit was working, but the water line froze up. It was defrosted and the unit worked for about 2 weeks and the thing started heating up again. The temperature read 57 degrees. So, I was out a refrigerator for a total of 2 months, not counting the amount of food lost. I am joining a class action suit and getting rid of this piece of crap. Will NEVER recommend anything Samsung to anyone.

We purchased the Samsung Dishwasher Model DW80K505US last fall. We had the service techs here to check on it as the dishes were coming out with food stuck on them no matter what we did. We did everything the tech said to avoid this problem and it didnt change a thing. Two weeks ago we received the replacement machine that Samsung sent but it has exactly the same problem. As far as we are concerned this is a design flaw. The rinse cycle is not working properly as the dishes come out dirtier than when they were put in.According to the last service tech who was here 2 DAYS AGO, it is caused by the companies trying to go greener with the machines. What use are they if they do not do what they are supposed to. I am currently using both the detergent and rinse agent they recommended and now I also am supposed to buy another product - Finish dishwasher booster. I have an issue with the chemicals as they cause me health problems so I am assuming that we bought an expensive floor ornament and will have to go back to washing dishes by hand.

We find this refrigerator answers all our needs especially with the snack drawer. It is very attractive also. This Samsung refrigerator has lots of room with variable adjustable shelving, deep bins, and a deep freezer drawer on the bottom. The water/ice dispenser is invaluable and has the option of cubes or crushed ice. The only maintenance needed is replacing the water filter every six months. Great size and value for a family.

Please stay away from SAMSUNG appliances. We spent 15k for all new in our new house and they’ve all had multiple repairs. We bought at SPENCERS TV and Appliance and the entire two years have done absolutely nada to help us out. The range we bought burns the food almost every time. I asked for a trade in and purchase a new top of the line brand and they immediately laughed and said no It’s sad how horrible businesses are these days keeping their clients happy. It’s the easiest part with my company. We will go buy new ones from Lowe’s or Home Depot. If they would have been somewhat respectful and gave me a 100-200 discount I would have went in today and purchased a new range and I also need another 85” tv. Good luck Samsung and Spencer’s. The customers are what pay your mortgage. I was so surprised they would do absolutely nothing. Who does business like that. My customers are my livelihood and love to see a happy face when I work with them and showing them I’m willing to do 100% to make them happy. Have a great day. Wanted 0 STARS... It’s not possible.
