Have to rinse dishes clean before I put them in. Otherwise they will not get clean. Does as well as most other dishwashers- until you get into the very upper end ones. The racks are good size. The outside is nice looking.

I purchased this dishwasher on April 2018 and from the beginning was not working well. I called a technician about 2 months ago, came with the computer and told me it is working fine, but my dishes are never well cleaned. Anyway on Nov 27, 2018 the water started coming out from my tiles and I didnt understand why? I kept drying and it kept dripping. I was so worried and called a handyman. He told me it is the dishwasher dripping water. All my cabinets, my tiles are wet inside. I have called and report it and today a technician was coming to repair it (which I will not accept.) I want a peace of mind. I need a new working dishwasher. Today, the technician was supposed to call me before arriving and I was 5 minutes away and left. Now, your customer service reps are telling me to wait till Tuesday. I am having guests and my house is a mess, I have the dishwasher in the middle of my kitchen, everything is stinking to humidity and all happens because of this BAD PRODUCT. I want this trash to be exchange as soon as possible.

Month Long Dish Washer Installation from Hell (Try #3 the best).Install Try 1 (I took off work for): Oops, I ordered the wrong hose. I am going to have to come back next week to install. Next week Friday: Hello is this GE Installation services Umm its Friday and the guy never called or showed up this week to install my dishwasher I just purchased??!? (me). We then set up a time for the following week. How unprofessional.Install Try 2 (I took off work for): Umm still didnt bring the right hose. Can you go to Home Depot for me and buy the right one and bring it back? (installer). Ahh No!?! This is your problem not mine. (me). Well I will have to come back then. (installer). You have to be kidding me. I have to take another day off work?!? (me). Finally he gets a guy to come with the correct hose. Umm, can I borrow a screw driver and some tools from you?(installer). You have to be kidding me, sure? (me). Installer proceeds to drop the sides and fumble around banging the pieces on my NEW floor. Finally getting it installed. It doesnt look right. Dont the feet raise up and shouldnt the dishwasher be flush to the cabinets????!? and it looks crooked?? (me). Nope. (installer). I file a complaint and the guy removes my $60 install fee and sends another team out to fix it.Install Try 3 (I took off work for): 3 guys come and re-install dishwasher worse than the guy before them. From the other room you hear banging around and Oops, I broke a screw etc... This is what happens afterwards. Umm the plastic backing and sides are showing. Its pushed out farther than it was from the first guy. It definitely is NOT supposed to look like that. Plus its loose??? (me). Best we can do. Bye. (install team). This doesnt seem right....(me). Oh no, its leaking!!!!!!!!!!!! (me). So I called a plumber to come ASAP as I said before its NEW wood floor. New Plumber NOT associated with GE or Home Depot (who I probably will be getting a nice bill for calling last minute) proceeds to fix my dishwasher for the next 4 hours...Here is a small list of problems: 1) its leaking; 2) the foot vibrated off; 3) screws broke off; 4) damage to hose; 5) bottom plate installed at angle not even remotely level; 6) scratched up floor and cabinets; 7) installed too far forward and too low. This is the list. So far we still are trying to figure out where it is leaking from and if the dishwasher even will work. Thank god I actually got a Professional this time unlike GE/Home Depots teams. I then called GE Install services 1-800-432-7167 again and this is what they had to say: We already refunded you the 60 dollars. There is nothing we can do but we will file your complaint. I called again to speak with a manager and after a long conversation, he gave me $62 off my order. -- And let me tell you that is not going to cover the cost of the plumber I just hired to fix your mess. Not to mention the 3 days off work I took. Irritated I hung up. I bought a fridge, cook top, and double oven with GE along with this dishwasher. I wish I hadnt given them my business. Apparently, I am supposed to call back if the dishwasher doesnt work when my plumber is done working on it. Oh I WILL be calling back, you can bet on it. As for now I just hope he finds the leak... Moral of the story is NEVER use the install services they offer. You are better off getting your own plumber from the start.

I purchased a GE dishwasher on March 15th 2018... The first dishwasher I received on March 23rd was obviously broken. The dishwasher setting piece was completely broken off and the sides were dented and looked like it had been dropped. Ok. The delivery guys immediately called it in and reordered another one for me. A week later the second dishwasher came, it looked fine from the outside so I signed for it. Once I opened it I saw that the top rack was missing wheels and the second shelf wasnt even connected to the dishwasher. I called and a week later they came and got it and left a new one. I asked the delivery guys to unpackage it and look inside. Immediately the top arm cycle fell off and the HE symbol at the bottom popped out. They assured me that was normal... When the install guy arrived a week later he said he thought everything looked ok. He ran a cycle, then left. Before he was out of my driveway the cycle arm/water sprayer fell off and water sprayed everywhere... I brought the piece into Home Depot and they told me it was broken (duh) and they would order a new one. NO. This was going to be the fourth time I will be taking off work to deal with this dishwasher! GE is absolutely gone down. The products being produced are either being sabotaged by the employees from the Ohio plant, who are all losing their jobs because the plant is about to get shut down and is going to be moved to Mexico or GE is absolutely horrible at business, design and producing quality appliances.Regardless, I will NEVER purchase a GE product again and would never recommend to anyone to purchase a GE appliance! I am going to get a refund and insist compensation and inconvenience fees! I had to take off work 4 Times, had to cancel plumbers 3 times (still was charged). I lost money from my work, time from life and a month without a dishwasher. Also, a month with a broken one sitting in my living room because they wouldnt come get the 2nd and 3rd broken dishwashers until a I ordered another one and had that one delivered before they got the broke one(s) out of my house. I had broken dishwashers sitting in my living room for a month. Easter was quite embarrassing with an appliance next to the table to say the least. DO NOT PURCHASE GE APPLIANCES!!!

I have had 2 Profile dishwashers in the past 3 months. I have not been able to use either one. First one had a cracked tub and the replacement would not run. I tried for hours to contact GE customer service and was placed on hold for almost an hour before they closed for the day. Not only is this washer a piece of garbage, GE customer service is terrible. Do not and I will say this again do not but this product.

Our microwave was manufactured in September 2010 and we purchased it in October 2010. It has been used a few times a week for reheating leftovers. I have owned secondhand microwaves and unknown brand microwaves, and they have been more reliable than the GE Profile. My husband and I invested in the Profile series when we remodeled our kitchen. After a lifetime of moving and living in homes with much to be desired kitchens, we decided to spend money to provide ourselves with a functional kitchen. If I had to do it all over again, I would have saved myself the trouble and purchased my appliances from another company.After having to call GE to send out a repair person 5 different times to work in our microwave oven, we are left with a nonworking microwave oven. It seems that a company that has made record profits from their faithful American fans could do the right thing and replace the microwave oven with something that works. Perhaps they do not have such a product. They have offered to let us buy a new one at a big discount, but they have not clarified what the percentage will be. The problem I have with this is that spending one more dollar on a product with no backing from the company it came from would be asking for more let down. I believe Ill have this lemon removed and quit before I take on any more consumer letdowns.

GLD6560L00SS. My dishwasher (Model number:GLD6560L00SS) was producing large amounts of smoke through the face panel. It filled my kitchen with smoke and produced a strong smell. I contacted GE and they sent a service repairman out and he took a look. He said this problem is very uncommon with this specific unit and he has never seen something like this. After he removed the front panel, we were welcomed by a burnt/charcoal black face-plate. There was an internal fire in the machine. To fast forward I have been working with GE the last 3 weeks and they have offered to cover 50% off a new unit. I cannot afford this even with a discount and they will not cover the cost of a replacement. This problem could have been much worse if I was not home. The house very well could have started on fire. We normally set the unit at night and go to bed... Thank god this was a different day. This kind of thing is unexceptionable and the fact that they will not cover.

I called the toll free number because of the concern I am having with your microwave, the paint is coming off the inside. So my concern is first why would it be coming off, is it a defect in the product or does it just happen? The person was helpful and seemed as if it was to be concerning. WELL IT IS to me. Could it make us sick, do I need to put it in the trash or what? I recently purchased an Adora dishwasher from Home Depot. The price was enough to suggest that it should be a good dishwasher, but its the worst dishwasher Ive ever owned. It does not clean dishes and it takes two hours to do it.

I purchase GE Profile appliances for my new home. I thought I had done my research but until I actually owned I found I feel differently. The microwave pad scratches very easy and after only a few months you can see which buttons I use the most. I’ve only used a microfibers cloth to clean and it scratched the surface. Appliance repairman said to use terry towel. Wish I’d known that. Secondly, after owning all Samsung appliances previously I now appreciate what I had. So many of the features of my past microwave are not on this GE. For example the vegetable good, built in sensory knew when vegetables were cooked. Also, soften butter and chocolate was another feature. Thaw meat knew when it was thawed. So my advise go for the Samsung microwave

We have the dishwasher, fridge and stove from the GE Cafe series. In the 2 years that we have had them, we have become pretty acquainted with the local repair people because there hasnt been one month when all three were working at the same time. The fridge had to be replaced (we lost over $1000 in just food) - the replacement fridge had to be repaired. The customer service is awful. They are just trained NOT to be helpful. GE takes no responsibility for putting out such low quality, high priced appliances. I will never buy GE again and hopefully these reviews can save you the same grief and hopefully money (we have to pay for service repairs). Buy anything but GE, one star - is one too many!

Our GE Spacemaker XL microwave stopped working on 7/11/12. We purchased our house in January 2000 with the microwave included and have not had any problems with our microwave, until yesterday, when we woke up and tried to pop the kids breakfast in for a quick heat and it made a strange humming noise and you could smell plastic melting. All power was quickly turned off to the unit. Now to find a replacement for this built-in microwave is going to be a problem. The local technician stated the blower motor we need is no longer available. Thanks, GE, for at least 12 years of excellence. We are now looking for a similar replacement.

A recall on a dishwasher: The heating element was replaced due to the fact they said it could catch fire. The bottom of the dishwasher is plastic. They replaced the heating element with the same kind of element that was there. How could that be any safer if the bottom is still plastic? I have children in the house; I feel this is a dangerous situation. I am dissatisfied with GE. This is the third dishwasher with the same problem in a matter of 5 years.

It popped and acted as if something that should not be microwave several times, although the contents were fine. Finally it caught on fire. I had it for a year and used it mainly to warm up my coffee. Never popped popcorn or used in meal. I will not buy GE again. I work too hard for my money.

Microwave Model JVM1750DP2bb defective construction- Plastic is protruding inside the Oven. Took possession of a new home in January 2014, but only occupied part time. I estimate we had the equivalent of 6 months being occupied. In January 2017 the magnetron broke down, at which time I noticed a piece of plastics protruding inside the microwave through a vent hole on the Magnetron side. I did not take the extended warranty and GE only offered to send a repair man. Since this is an over the stove model venting outside, it had to be repaired or replaced. Checked with the supplier and they estimated a minimum of $ 300 repair cost. Home Depot had model JVM6175DKBB on sale for 249.00, and with delivery, and installation, were talking $ 350.00 to $400.00 to replace. I got in touch with GE Consumer Affairs, and they did eventually agree to provide the JVM6175DKBB for $ 270.00 including installation. They will take possession of the old model, so there wont be any way for me to confirm or deny a manufacturing defect.

Microwave oven, model # WES1450DN1BB, manufacture date, April 2011 - Your customer service sucks! I called there 5 times today and was told my microwave oven has been recalled, yet no one knows! You dont have it listed on the recall or anything. Your Customer Advocate doesnt know its recalled but your Service Department knows and I was told by them that it says, Do not repair, return to the place of purchase. Yet, I called my place of purchase and they know nothing of it either, but are going to work with me the best they can! It was manufactured in April of 2011 and we bought it around July 2011 (we think it was around then). There are many complaints online about the same issues as we are having - paint all bubbled and peeled off the inside top, and smell of burning wires coming from under it! If something would have happened to someone in my family or to my home, you bet your ** I would have sued the pants off of your company! Someone needs to get their ** straight with what is going on in your company or you are going to have a lot of issues! I may bring it to a higher level just because I am so pissed off that no one was informed about this issue, and something very bad could have or still can happen to someone because they are not getting the information they need! Stop and think about it. Because of your companys lack of communication, someone could die! I am very pissed off!

Had it over 12 yrs. Never a problem. It’s a wall mount microwave. Easy to clean stainless steel. A bit of a pain to clean the stainless steel inside of microwave. Would recommend the microwave to people looking for one.

I bought GE Profile appliances 5 years ago. The dishwasher motor needs a new one. It cost me $300.00 to fix and I ended up buying a new dishwasher, of course, no more GE. Six months ago, my GE profile fridge is not making ice. It cost me $300.00 to fix. Now, the freezer is not working right. I was told another $300+ to fix. I went out and bought a new fridge. Back to basic, Kenmore brand. GE profile is not inexpensive and only last 5 years, starting to break down. Please stay away from this company.

My old (Panasonic) microwave lasted over 15 years. This brand is really poor quality and they dont stand behind it. Electrical burning smell. Less than 9 months old. Called customer service, they refused to repair and will send a goodwill rebate cert saying I can buy a new one (any model) and I will be refunded. I ended up paying $100 more because all local stores did not have anything close to my model. They will not cover shipping, tax or any of the extra cost of the new microwave. Stay away from all GE products.

I also bought a counter top GE microwave oven model jes1451dn1bb that turned itself on and then stated a vegetable sensor error. I did not trust it after this and when I plugged it back in, it stated a keyboard short had occurred and that I may need service. What I need is a non-GE microwave oven that works longer than 18 months. Prior to this machine, I had bought the same model back in 2003 and the same thing happened; The machine turned itself on and stated a popcorn sensor failed. This was back years ago and I complained to GE but never heard from them. This problem has been going on for years and they do not give a ** about the consumer who lives with this machine. I complained tonight about my second microwave and unless a miracle happens, I will never buy another GE product again in my life!

GE cafe dishwasher, model CDT725SSFOSS - Bought new home December 16, 2014. Dishwasher worked well for a short period of time. Six months into ownership the unit began to leak and was quickly and efficiently repaired while under warranty. 10 months into warranty, the dishwasher began to rumble very loudly during every drain cycle, to the point where it sounded like it was going to walk out of the kitchen. Warranty tech showed up and had to order parts. Not sure which pump to replace he ordered both. Tech returns 10 days later and replaces both pumps. He turns power back on and the entire unit is dead electrically. Nothing works, pumps, motors, keypad, nada! Repair keypad was ordered along with a new wiring harness, just in case it was the source of the problem.2 weeks later, and one week before warranty expires, the repairman shows up and replaces the keypad and wiring harness. Yippie skippie, everything works but the tech is still confused, telling me the keypad lights should turn off at the end of the cleaning cycle, he could never make that happen. He completes his repairs on December 23. The unit performs flawlessly for 3 complete cycles, except the lights on the keypad never turn off at the end of the cleaning cycles.Sometime during the week of January 11-17 (while I was traveling) the unit dies again. Completely inoperable electrically. Follow up call with GE warranty service and the entire focus is on the fact that the warranty has expired. I keep pressing and the warranty person finally admits that service parts should carry a 30 day warranty. Service tech arrives and tells me he has to order parts. Keypad has been back ordered and I have no idea when it will show up.Totally unreliable expensive piece of junk. I can only imagine what the future holds. This experience seems to mimic Jack Welchs business philosophy to a tee - maximize profit and return to the shareholders while minimizing production costs and ignoring the customer needs completely. Highly recommend that you run any direction except towards purchasing any GE appliance, especially the Cafe series. Dishwasher. Nonexistent quality controls, no parts available, disappointing performance, extremely high price, P.O.S! DO NOT PURCHASE GE APPLIANCES. Negative Stars rating is what I would give this product. It will for good recycle materials at the scrap yard, sooner than later I am afraid!

My microwave on the inside paint start peeling off. I have this appliance 2 years, it has slowly been peeling since that time and now it has completely peeled and rusted on the inside. This WAS a gift. The outside looks great, the inside is so bad. The serial # is LT914637B model JES1451DN1BB manufactured in 2010, Made in Malaysia. Be Louisville ky 40225. Does the united States make anything except make us pay taxes. This is a piece of mess. The last 2 years my husband he suffered with LLC. Now I got to deal with this. Poor workmanship. Two years ago, I replaced my 25-year-old GE bottom-of-the-line dishwasher because it made a noise like a freight train. I was ecstatically happy to have a brand new top-of-the-line stainless steel GE Profile dishwasher that hardly made a sound while working. Well, that is the best part of the new machine because it also hardly cleans. We have tried different detergents, additives, etc. We have checked our water temp, pressure, etc. Not only does the machine not clean all the silverware/dishes, it doesnt dissolve and remove all of the liquid detergent, so I have to run the machine through another rinse cycle. We are so frustrated in my house that we have finally given up and now hand wash our dishes. I hate this dishwasher and would never buy another GE product again! I also had an issue with a GE bottom freezer fridge. But thats another story. By the way, the old 25-year-old machine? It always got my dishes clean.

The jvm3160 series has a known defect in the door interlock electrical system that blows the unit fuse if the door is opened while the mw oven is operating. This usually occurs after the warranty expires. Cost to repair can exceed the original cost of the unit. Mine failed in warranty but it took them 10 weeks to fix it. The reason it took so long is that GEs repair protocol calls replacing the whole door (which has NO electrical parts in it) instead of replacing just the latch assembly because the labor cost to replace the latch itself exceeds the cost of a complete door assembly. Door assemblies were on back-order because of the high failure rate.

We have a GE Profile Microwave/Oven combo unit. The paint is flaking off inside the microwave. Most of the ceiling paint is gone, and the floor of the microwave is flaking. Because we have a combo microwave and oven, the entire unit must be replaced. Thats around $2400. We cannot match the color, because they dont make bisque appliances any more. GE customer service suggests we replace the microwave with a countertop model, leaving the dead microwave on the wall. This is unacceptable.

Microwave is a 2001 and works just fine. There are a couple of things that could be better and that’s the exhaust and the lighting outside of microwave. Possibly could be more energy efficient but are bigger models built that way?

Two years less three weeks after we started using the dishwasher in our new home the plastic at the top of the door where all the buttons are cracked. So far it hasnt interfered with the way its working, but were on alert that it might not be too long. Ive owned dishwashers before, one for 32 years, one for 9 years. Our GE microwave stopped working after about 7 months of use. Ive never had a microwave break down on me before. Ive owned other brands which Ive used for years, actually lasted over 10 years. The only reason we purchased the GE microwave was because our old microwave was too big in size. I called GE for warranty service and it was very much of a hassle just to make the appointment. I had to call several times because a customer service representative misinformed me. It took a couple days just to set up a service appointment.Ive told the representative that the microwave stopped working and will not power back on again. The representative told me that the fuse probably went out. Something must have blown out. Finally, the appointment was made for about a week later, which was the earliest time available. It is so inconvenient not to have a working microwave even just for a day. Anyhow, the service tech came about two hours late. The scheduled time was for 8am-12 pm. He showed up close to 2pm. A family member was waiting at home all day because of this. Then the service tech told us that he needs to order a part for the microwave and that he will return a week later to repair the microwave.A week later, he didnt show up. No one even called. So I called back GE and found out that the appointment has been postponed! So now, we have been without a microwave for about three weeks. I think this is ridiculous. Im pretty sure that this is a common problem with GE microwaves and they already had an idea why the microwave wasnt working. It doesnt power-up! Now they are telling me that they dont have the part/s in stock? If I had known that we had to invest so much time and go through so much hassle from the get-go, I would have just purchased a new microwave three weeks ago. GE should pay me for all the time Ive wasted!

I guess my GE Profile dishwasher is a lemon. Sounds like it from all the other reviews. Same deal - purchased it in July of 2016 and by October 2016 it went out. Technician that was sent told me it was the electric and I needed to have an electrician fix the fuse. Electrician came out and said it had electric, that it was the dishwasher that failed. Next technician fixed it and said the electronic panels get confused. Three days off of work. December, 2016 the dishwasher failed again. Had no dishwasher throughout the holidays. They scheduled service technician and then cancelled because the one technician they had was out sick.Today, January 9th, they called to let us know they were on the way, but never called the number they were supposed to, so now we are totally taken off the schedule. Ive been on hold and disconnected three times and now have been on hold for one hour and 6 minutes. DONT BUY GE APPLIANCES - Terrible service and crappy appliances that dont work. This is really sickening since I have ALWAYS used GE appliances.

I bought a JVM3670SK05 a little under two years ago. It is an above the cooktop vent-a-hood microwave. I believed I was buying a quality unit. Now everything is working, but there’s no heat! Even the cheap units from Walmart work longer than this expensive piece of crap! Now I either have to spend enough to buy a new hood for cooktop and new microwave or pay the same price and buy parts in hope that they will not go out again. Not really feeling lucky with the GE product.

I was sitting on my couch and I heard something running. I walked into the kitchen and saw my GE Profile microwave was running. At first I doubted myself and thought maybe I did something and then I cleared it out and went and sat back down. It did it again and again several more time. This is very scary. It was running like someone had set it and it was getting hot inside. Im not sure what else to do. The last time I had the same type of problem and just bought a replacement microwave and now this one is doing the same.

I owned a previous GE dishwasher 4 years ago and would give it excellent ratings. I bought a newer top of the line version when I purchased a new home. It simply fails to clean dishes. Wet food that any dishwasher would remove, remained on the dishes. The drying cycle never dried the dishes. We have to hand wash the dishes now and have stopped using the dishwasher after 3 days of ownership because of health hazard. I called Lowes about this within days of the install. Lowes sent out the installer who claimed the machine was installed properly. Then Lowes scheduled a GE repairman to come to the home. We waited all day for him to arrive for a morning appointment. He never came. Lowes stepped up and is replacing the dishwasher with a non-GE product. I would not touch a GE product again given the lack of service and commitment to their product. I feel confident with Lowes, but not with GE - their ethics from engineering, manufacturing and servicing are very suspect with us.

This is the second GE microwave. In 2 years I have had that, the paint peeled off inside the microwave in sheets! I contacted GE the first time and was offered no help or explanation. I was told it was an older model, even though I bought it new. This time, I just chose to throw it away and never purchase another GE appliance again!

We had some oil spill in the oven, which proceeded to catch fire. It was a huge fire that burned for a while. But all it took was a little oven cleaner, and it looks like nothing ever happened! The coating and materials inside of the oven are completely fine. It also still works perfectly! I'm amazed. 10/10 stars.

Getting great service out of it. GE Dishwasher is a good unit for the money. Its does a really good job when loaded properly. I did just extend the warranty for another year. I am very happy with it.

I purchased 9k total for all GE appliances, their dishwashers are flat junk, the bright side is I made a friend with their repairman ha aha ah true story!!! Dont buy, lot of other better choices and lots more reliable. P.S. Customer support terrible.

The microwave overall is good. It looks very good. I think that the price was good as well. I would certainly recommend this item as an item to buy. So far it appears to be well built, I have not had any problems with it.

Have owned, installed, and repaired many dishwashers throughout the years at various houses. This GE unit is by far worst dishwasher that I have ever had the displeasure to install and operate, and it replaces a Kitchen Aid unit that started a fire, see **. Specifically the GE unit had the control panel break off due to misalignment, requiring repair, the drain bulkhead fitting was poorly designed and caused a leak, requiring repair, the water solenoid valve failed in the 2nd year, and finally the door does not lock closed without significant care and attention to alignment and requires many attempts to lock closed for the start of cycle. This is the worst and I cant wait to pull it out and replace it.

My 5 years old over the range GE Microwave Oven in my old house had a keypad malfunction. I replaced that oven with a different brand. This time, my 2 years old GE profile microwave in my new house has the same keypad shorted like other users posted. I was hesitating to buy this brand at the time. But the look and match with other appliances, plus the good deal from vendor, I gave it another try. I made a terrible mistake. No more GE appliances for me.

GE Quiet Power 3. I overall like the dishwasher. It does a good job of washing the dishes, but not a great job. They need prewashed if very dirty. The soap dispenser often cakes if using powder. It is quiet. Cannot tell how much time is left on cycle.

We have had our GE Advantium for 4+ years and the paint has started to peel off the inside of the door. We have an extended warranty with Home Depot but they deem this a cosmetic issue which is not covered. The cost to replace the door (part only) is about $260. Not sure self-painting is safe. I read here that we are not alone in GE microwave paint peeling off inside their microwaves, in general. Has there been any recall or calls action against them for this shoddy product? We love having this microwave/oven but feel like we got hosed by GE and Home Depot.

It has never cleaned good. It does not load easily. We have tried numerous dishwashing liquids etc. But none clean well even though we rinse the dishes first. This is their top model. Very disappointed.

Microwave (GE 2.2 PROFILE) was manufactured in Oct 2015, I ordered in November 2015 and it was delivered January 2016. Installed in March 2016. Was making rattling sound like the case was loose or something. The other night I placed cup of water in microwave, turned on for 1minute and FLAMES shot out (on the inside) from the “squares” on the inside. Does it every time so unplugged. Contacted GE. Was told Out of warranty. Repair person can’t come for 2 weeks. Waiting for return call from customer support. I don’t think flames can be fixed!!

First impression was good but then went use it and found the basket was shallow. This was not a cheap one and was very quiet when running but multi loads have to be run. Overall the looks are good and the mechanics all are holding up fine. The smaller inside is the killer for me.

I wasted my whole day waiting for GE Technician to come. Nobody called me to let me know that they are not coming. I have to call them only for a Mr. ** to tell me that they had rescheduled the appointment for another one week without notifying me. Good job that GE APPLIANCES are doing. You remember the so called TOO BIG TO FAIL? It means, they can do whatever they want at whatever time or day they want. I dont have a vent in my house and that means I cant use the stove. Is this ridiculous or I am missing something here? Is it TOO BIG TO FAIL? Yes, I forgot that. I will be staying in a house with a new GE APPLIANCE that has not been working for the last one week and have to wait for another week. Mind you, this Appliance has been used only for barely a month. Is there anybody out there who is facing the same problem or its just me. If there is nobody going through the same experience, an excuse like there are no Technicians available to come to your place and do the job. If there is anybody out there who has trust in GE appliances like I did or even thinking of getting one. Be aware that you will be through what I am going through and there will be no technician available for another two weeks. Be ready to wait for they will reschedule your appointment without letting you know, why? Because theyre TOO BIG TO FAIL. What will you do? Wait until they decide to come, if theres a technician available. I just realized that GE means GO ELSEWHERE. Thanks GE for the good job.

We wrote to GE regarding the issue with the dishwasher and, after some phone tag, a certified GE engineer came to the house, diagnosed the problem and ordered all the replacement parts. This morning, they came by to install and essentially rebuild the entire system with the exception of the stainless steel. Overall, we are very happy with the outcome. With all the negative issues GE experiences online with regard to the Cafe Series, I give them a solid 8 for responsiveness and taking care of the situation. Perhaps ours is a rarity, but if you approach them logically and with facts, they seem willing to work with the consumer. Heres hoping the system cleans better now too!

The microwave (JVM1860WF001) came with the new home. It quit working. It still turns on, but does not heat. After reading all the complaints, I will not go to the expense of fixing this microwave. I will buy another brand. Goodbye GE. It appears by the other complaints, that GE does not care.

It doesn’t do the best job of cleaning without rinsing first. Start button is difficult to operate and plastic membrane worn through. Both shelves began rusting within a few years. But no mechanical/electronic issues ever.

GE model #pem31sm3ss microwave has paint peeling on the interior. GE says it is not safe to use, yet will not replace it. Purchased 08.2010. There are other consumers online with the same problem. There should be a health safety recall on these units. GE offers a $50.00 rebate on a new unit, a far cry from replacement cost.

GE Model WES1130DM2BB MFG APRIL 2011, bought Oct 2011 @ SAMs Club. Microwave continues to run after cook time and will not stop until unplugged! Service Dept offers a $25 discount on a new GE Microwave after cutting cord & sending info plate in. I am concerned this microwave will cause a fire! Luckily I was near and unplugged it!

First, as a new homeowner blessed with select builder-provided appliances, I never imagined I would be authoring this letter 4 months after closing on the new home. Your friggin’ microwave oven light mechanism truly sucks! I lost the two bulbs a week or so ago and purchased two more at the cost of approximately $10, even though a one-year warranty was stated. That was okay, as I was more interested in fixing the problem versus starting some long-range purchase interest. So, and this is the most aggravating aspect, I have the correct pins and life is ** good, and as I attempt to insert the first, the ** pin breaks off. Okay, so I reflect on the horrific engineering of the mechanism, and I softly” align the second of the two bulbs, and the ** pin breaks off again. ** is my predominant theme tonight. As well, believe me, I am going to inform Taylor-Morrison that their respective selection of your friggin’ lousy pieces of crap is corrupt and misguided. You suck, G.E.! I’m moving forward.

Ive had this stainless steel GE Dishwasher model GDF645SMONES with the controls in the front for nearly a year. The dishwasher constantly comes on with the slightest accidental touch. However the buttons that control the cycle settings are extremely difficult to operate to cancel the lock or delay hours features. I have to literally bang on the buttons to get a response. My thumbs are now sore from the constant pushing to cancel that lock and delay features that came on accidentally. Once locked, good luck in canceling anything. Im so disgusted with this $600 dishwasher. Complaints to GE and the so-called warranty company that turned out to be one and the same, have fallen on deaf ears from the day I got it. Do yourself a huge favor, do NOT buy this dishwasher. Customer service is awful.

Touchpad for CVM2072SM2SS stopped working. This touchpad has been creating issues for the last couple of years. Few reconnection of wires got it working for the last few times and now it is completely broke. GE is not ready to help with fixing the issue. It wants to sell me another microwave CVM1750SHSS which seems to have similar issues (also the plastic handle for those microwaves seems to fall apart due to heat). In fact, the reviews for the whole range of GE Cafe series seems to be pretty bad. GE is not owning up the design issues. Too bad!

GE has agreed to replace and install my microwave. I am very satisfied that they understood my concern in this situation and agreed to my request.

GE Profile Microwave wall oven combo model PT970SOM1SS - We have a few years old unit very gently used. However, we now have the paint peeling and flaking from the top and back interior wall of the microwave. Some spots have bare metal exposed. Contacted GE and they told me there was no fix for it other than replacing the device. Now they cannot replace the Microwave alone. The whole unit has to be replaced at a cost of ~ $2800.00. This is ridiculous. There should be a recall as there are several other complaints about similar issues.

The first GE microwave never worked right out of the box. I took it to school and let my Physics students (I am a science teacher) tear it apart and find the trouble. The magnetron was broken. Since it could possibly have happened bringing it home, I decided to let it go and went and bought a new one. This one is less than a year old and has the very scary habit of coming on by itself. When I go in there, it says it is defrosting, or beverage, or any number of reasons. Tonight, I will unplug it, chunk it, and go buy another microwave. One can bet that I will never buy another GE product.

We purchased a complete kitchen of Profile appliances. Everything is fine except dishwasher! The first one didnt clean food and left scum on everything... The company sent service several times replacing many parts.... finally gave us a new one... It still doesnt clean. It will not remove peanut butter, avocado, and my teacups are perpetually stained dark brown. My old dishwasher, Kenmore, left my dishes sparkling... no matter what was on them, plus I didnt have to run my kitchen sink to get hot water first! I will not use GE in my next house which will be built in about 3-4 years.

I wish I had found this complaint section before I purchased my microwave. Bought model HVM1750DP1CC in May of 2010. Now, 3 years later, all of a sudden theres no power to the unit. The wall outlet is fine. There were no storms around here when it went out. It just seemed to fry itself! The repair/troubleshooting instructions tell you to get a licensed technician to check this and check that because of the voltage. They give you a flowchart to troubleshoot it yourself, but no pictures to go with the diagram. Sure I can check the fuses, if I knew where they are!GE - NEVER AGAIN FOR ME. Wish we still had good-valued products Made in the USA. This one is made in Malaysia. NOT WORTH IT. Time to sell the GE stock too. Their products suck and class action suits will probably follow. I bough a GE microwave oven, model JVM1740SM1SS, less than 2 years ago. The keypad says that it is shorted out and needs service. It turns on randomly. I unplugged it and plugged it back in, and it will either say, service needed, keypad shorted out or press clock.GE has so many complaints about there microwaves, some that are very serious. They still claim that there are no problems with them. They have to know there are problems, but do not want to issue a recall and take a financial lose. Its only a matter of time, before something so serious happens that it will be a bigger financial lose than a recall.

My GE microwave (Model: JVM1540SN1SS) that I bought new two years ago for $250.00 broke already. The table doesnt turn and nothing heats up even though the timer works. There are only two adults in the household using it, and we dont even use it very often. I find this pitiful service. My last microwave lasted about 15 years.

After 22 months of use, the microwave stopped heating. Youll see the same problem all over the internet. Lights turn on, plate spins but no change at all in temperature. The repair call was estimated to cost more than the price of the microwave. Its almost like it was planned. Never buying a GE product again.

My 4-month old dishwasher started to leak so I called GE to repair since it is still under warranty. Technician said there was a superfluous piece on the gasket which he removed. Dishwasher was fine for about 2 cycles when it started to leak again. As GE do not have a weekend service I had to take a second half day off work. Different technician said the gasket was not pushed in correctly and I should check it each time before running it. Shouldnt this be part of the design - a gasket that stays put?! Ran the dishwasher. Water all over the floor. The new floor that is getting ruined by this clearly faulty appliance.

I purchased a Ge profile top of the line microwave installed over an electric oven. After 3 months the plastic handle came off and Ge replaced the entire door. This handle has now come off 3 times. The service tech said it has a plastic connector that weakens over a stove. It supposed to be mounted over a stove. This is just poor design and totally unacceptable for their top of the line microwave.

Installed 07/06/2015 While I was asleep on 12/09/18 the oven appeared to start microwaving an empty oven on its own. When I came down 5 hours later the microwave had no power. I opened door and turntable had melted and glass had exploded. The ring under it was burnt and melted in one location. Top of cabinet on right side was hot. Then the internal circuit breaker restored itself and started some recovery process making odd noises sounded like the magnetron was trying to run since the top was getting hotter, after a minute the internal circuit breaker shut it down again. I then unplugged it. It appeared the magnetron started heating on its own and turntable did not rotate. All of the heat was concentrated at 12:00 edge of glass turntable. It also burnt the metal floor under that spot.

Today I heated some spaghetti sauce in my microwave and it splashed, so I wiped it out. My microwave is built in and was pretty new and in the house when we bought it 4 years ago. It is in the base counter so I have to reach down to clean it. l havent had a problem with it but when I wiped the inside top I felt bumps and when I looked at the cloth to see what was on it, there was paint on it. That has never happened before so I of course looked and there is a fair amount of peeling paint in one spot. I have had microwave ovens for many years. Never had this problem with any other brand. What is that?? Can it be fixed? Is it dangerous???

Touch panel gets too hot from the stove and fails. Have to unplug it all the time to reset. Door handle unscrewed and inside coating is peeling. Had repaired three times. When least expected, I have to empty the cabinet above to reach the plug.

Our microwave, model number JVM1750DP1BB, was manufactured May 2011. On Monday, Dec. 30, I was heating a bagel when the small plastic hook holding the rack caught fire. The interior of the microwave burned, but I was able to put it out before it spread too far. I shudder to think what might have happened it I had been in another room. Im irritated because I keep reading that this is a common problem. Im irritated because MY HOUSE COULD HAVE BURNED DOWN. Im irritated because it seems like GE isnt doing a great job at making it right. Ive attached a photo below, showing where the plastic pin burned. I can say that Im shopping for a new over-the-range micro, and it wont come from GE.

We remodeled our kitchen and bought full line of GE café appliances which we have not been happy. Microwave screen cracked in the first three months; refrigerator is at max cooling but still does not cool or freeze enough; dishwasher has never cleaned well and marks my dishes with gray streaks and its control panel quit working and had to be replaced. They said that it was my soap, water etc., even though it never happened with previous dishwasher. All this in the first ten months of ownership of a couple with no family at home. Servicemen were nice and polite but their products are crummy. Dont buy them.

I had nothing but problems since day 1. The dishwasher has never cleaned dishes properly. We have to pre-scrub. The soap dispenser does not operate properly. The keypad stopped working after only 2 years.

I've always enjoyed GE products for a number of reasons. They are dependable and with care will last many, many years. My refrigerator lasted just over 20 years! My microwave is easy to clean and has never let me down over the years I've had it. GE products just last longer than other brands.

Nothing happened...never has. It just wont wash dishes. I have to prewash every item that is put into this piece of garbage. I bought it new and have used it for 3 years. It remained in the box the first 5 years I owned it and it honestly did me as much good in the box as it has since we installed it. It makes a good rinser but wont even wash off a lemon seed left in the bottom of a glass. This is such a joke. I would never buy another GE product. The refrigerator I bought at the same time, a side-by-side, the entire front door froze solid within 2 years and we had to buy a new one. Your company stinks. This is a rip off of my money. Refrigerators and dishwashers are not cheap. Model GSDL122F02BB is the dishwasher.

Our microwave is spacious, simple to use and dependable. This is about the fifth microwave I have had. The others only lasted about 6 months. My current microwave is about 5 years old, despite the fact that some of my previous ones were also GE.

I bought a GE profile dishwasher and 5 months later its leaking water. It was never very good at washing dishes and now its leaking. It is covered under the manufacturer warranty, however GE customer service is awful. We are approaching one month into not having a functional dishwasher and they still have not replaced it. Their communication is terrible. Stay away from GE.

I have a new GE profile model PDWT380VSS - Two in fact. The first one kept breaking glasses in the top rack. GE technicians could not find an answer so they replaced the Dishwasher. Now six months later its doing it again. This replaced a perfectly good, older model as part of a remodel. Theyll be sending another tech who I suspect will not have an answer. Any thoughts on what could be causing this or a way around it or is it to be expected? The first GE profile I had for several years with no such issues.

I have had this GE microwave for over a year now and have not had a problem with it. It has a variety of settings and it doesnt quit if something causes a spark/feedback, like a tiny piece of foil. It has a spacious interior and a large turntable. Also, the light stays on while cooking and comes on when the door is opened allowing one to watch and check on the cooking process even in a dim night light environment. Mid-morning munchies without having to turn a bright light on. I have tried other GE products and was disappointed with their performance. This GE microwave has worked well and I have not had any problems with it.

I purchased a dishwasher and it doesnt dry the dishes. It leaves the dishwasher and the dishes wet. I was told they have a fix. However, nothing has been done. If you want wet dishes, dont buy. They told me to raise my water temperature on my hot water tank and to run my sink water until it goes hot. They told me to buy Rinse Aid. Well, I did it all and it still doesnt dry. This is an energy saver appliance. Ha, ha, its because they are saving energy at our expense.

Its an older Hotpoint, and the layout is fairly roomy for a dishwasher of its size. The last apartment I was in had a comparably sized dishwasher that had too many shelving elements that got in the way of being able to just shove some dishes in there. Ive discovered with this dishwasher I need to stick to powdered detergent because the Hotpoint doesnt fully dissolve tablets. It does a fine job overall, though.

Purchased my GE microwave roughly 2 years ago. Recently it started running with the door OPENED. I cannot get it to stop even when pressing the cancel button. This happened whether or not there was time remaining on the clock. I was very concerned about the microwave rays being harmful to my children. We unplugged it overnight, it worked for literally 2 minutes and then it would not even turn on. Model number HVM1540SN2SS. Pretty upset that I have to buy a new microwave already!! I was going to replace it with another GE microwave to match my other appliances, but after reading so many posts of other GE microwaves running with the door open I think I will slowly work GE appliances out of my kitchen.

GE continually shows us why they are failing as a company. In just this last year I have replaced a less than 5 year old GE microwave, three separates parts to my GE monogram refrigerator, and now this one and a half year old dishwasher. The only appliance that GE makes that hasnt broken is the stove/oven that is over 10 years old and shows no signs of weakening.I purchased the upgraded stainless steel model that contained all the bells and whistles. It lasted 1 year and 3 months before the entire control panel stopped working. We utilized the dishwasher about once a week or once every two weeks in a two person household. Hardly a rough environment for a 700$ appliance. The repair costs was quoted for 99$ just to have GE look at it. The control panel was 140$, plus additional labor. This amounts to over 280$ to repair a year old product. I advise buying LG or Bosch.

Microwave (over the stove model) is also supposed to be conventional oven, but does not do that well. Just use as microwave. As microwave, easy to use. Now 14 years old and still going strong, although a little dated in appearance. Grill cover looks like chrome, but made of plastic, and when I tried to remove it recently to change the filter, it broke and now has to be replaced. $180, but still cheaper than a new appliance. Wish we could get away from using plastic parts.

Our GE Dishwasher is about 22 months old and is now not starting. GEs customer care is a joke. All they want to do is send a repair person with a $110 fee just to come and the person making the appointment refused to tell what the labor rate would apply once they got there. They offered zero help as far as troubleshooting. I called a local repairman and was told he has had many similar issues with newer GE Dishwashers. We are throwing parts at the problem now trying to get it running. He also said repair assistance or troubleshooting from GE is very poor. Really not pleased having a less than 2 yr old major appliance not working. GE means JUNK to me.

Ive had an overall good experience with the dishwasher although sometimes I feel that you have to do too much prewashing and the dish wash cycle takes a really long time.

Have used GE dishwashers before - were good. However GE no longer makes them, its just a name - now made by MABE (part of HAIER), Mexican with Chinese ownership, and this new one arrived with a factory fault - cracked tub which leaked immediately. Cracked tub seam and leak found immediately by service tech GEs site referred. Good news is the leak detector worked! Bad news - is we didnt install it right away (old one still worked and pandemic...) so it was a year before we got to it (was partly a gift). So - now MFR Mabe is giving us the run around and so far not doing anything about the faulty dishwasher they mfd and shipped through Home Depot. Dont be fooled as we were - GE is not actually GE anymore and the mfr HAIER/MABE are doing nothing to correct a factory mfg fault.

I purchased the unit just over a year ago and it started beeping one night with error scroll speed and then key pad shorted. In the end to repair costs more than to replace, even though it is above stove mounted unit. Do not buy a GE Microwave. Especially model # JVM6172DF1WW.

Bought the new dishwasher in Dec. 2013. In November 2014 a month shy of warranty expire, the detergent dispenser did not release or partially released the detergent. GE sent out A&E Factory service to fix. First visit initiated the parts order which was a new computer board and a Cascade Series detergent dispenser. A month later the second visit to install parts, the A&E tech was at our home for 3 hours and it took that long to remove and replace detergent dispenser. The tech did not replace computer board stating it was not needed? A week later the detergent dispenser still did not release the detergent! Called back to set up another appointment which was at the earliest Jan 19th 2015. Meanwhile last Friday Jan. 9th 2015 the dishwasher started to smoke heavily causing smoke detector to go off at 9 p.m. at night. Thank goodness!! We were home so that I could disconnect the power. Third visit was 1/12/15 and was informed by Lead A&E tech that the board should have been replaced and that the tech that was sent out was a trainee and inexperienced to work on my dishwasher. He should of never worked on my dishwasher(!!) according to the Lead A&E tech. The Lead A&E tech also stated that my model has had a problem with the computer boards which is essentially the brain of the dishwasher. I am currently taking my fight back to GE since A&E Factory is a subcontractor to GE and is not authorized to replace appliances. I told GE that I want a new dishwasher that is not using the problem computer boards even if it is an upgrade. It is not our fault that they have work with A&E who send out inexperienced techs to work on complicated GE appliances. We want a dishwasher that we both feel safe to run while we are not home. Is that too much to ask for?

I bought GE Profile dishwasher (PDT750SSFSS) from Home Depot on Sept 2014. First week it had some drying issue and GE service technician told no issue with dishwasher. After 4 months, electronic control board stopped working and GE service technician replaced the board. It worked for about a month and again same control electronic board failed and need to be replaced by GE technician. Again within a week again board failed for 3rd time. This time I asked for a replacement from GE since same board failed 3 times but GE refused to replace and told they can only repair and cannot give a replacement of dishwasher. Again for 4th time same control board failed now and I have contacted Home Depot for help. I dont know what to do this time and I dont want to repair this dishwasher anymore. It is only June 2015 and it had been repaired for more than 4 times. Ill try through Home Depot to get a replacement, if not Im planning to go through consumer court and file case against GE Profile. GE Model JVM1540LM5CS - Fire inside microwave while making popcorn. Top center piece, inside microwave, caught on fire. Was able to quickly contain the fire to the circular plastic cover which I removed. Called GE customer relations for service. The service technician that came to repair our microwave said he had just come from a customer with the same problem. Sounds like GE should take a close look at the plastic piece that catches fire and see about replacing it with one that wont burn.

We bought our first new dish washer 2.5 months ago. It has never worked since we got it. Figured out it was the door. We have called SIX times to GE to have someone come fix it They told us that their systems were changed and that they would take care of this! No phone call back or anything. I finally had to called the service people my self. Whats the point on a warranty if your not going to help. I will never buy another product from GE again!! I am VERY disappointed in the service. If you say your going to take care of it and call me back, then take care of it.

A week ago I placed a microwave dish in the microwave oven. The second rack was in place with the small microwave dish on it. When it started I noted flames from the rack bracket. The plastic on the rack had melted. I removed the rack and have not replaced it. This morning I place a microwavable cup in to reheat the coffee, and once again flame erupted.I am calling GE but wanted to let people know of this problem. I have had this appliance for a month. GE sent out a repairman. I overheard him tell someone that when there was cavity they considered it not repairable. Whomever he spoke with asked for pictures and from that deemed it repairable. I would not let them repair it as a fire with flames hot enough to melt the bracket and burning an opening in the inside shell is not something I want in my home. I received no satisfaction from GE as they just follow the Party line, I doubt any of them would want to take my repaired oven in their homes. I will dispose of it and purchase a new one from a different company.

We purchased this new 8 years ago however the problems started after about two and a half years of use. I called GE when the paint started peeling off of the door of the microwave. They asked me if I cooked salty foods. I cook bacon in the microwave. They told me my only option was to buy a new door and have it installed. It was $250 at the time. I did not have the money or desire to fool with it. I continued to use the microwave and it has continued to degrade. Now eight years later there is so much metal showing that we decided we must do something. It is unsightly and very difficult to clean because its rusting. Ive been expecting electrical arcs to occur and the microwave to catch on fire. It hasnt done that. It has continued to cook the food. The entire metal area on the door is without paint. There are other large areas of metal and rust inside on the bottom of the microwave. The entire vent panel is without paint and rusted. We also had to have the control panel replaced twice. It was covered once under the warranty and once it was not. We also had to replace the element in the oven which is used rarely. To replace the microwave and oven combination now would be $3,500. When I do replace it I will replace it with a different brand.

In late March, we placed a service call under GEs one year warranty. The outcome - a gasket repair. Within a week or two, the door began to drip from both the right/left bottom. With having three teens, I figured someone opened the door and released some water. Well, that just wasnt the cause. Shortly over the next few days, the leak was consistent and I placed a service call to GE on 4/19. The customer representative offered, instead of a service call, to order some panels that fit it the bottom of the dishwasher. I stated clearly that our one year warranty was up on 4/25 and if this does not work, would GE address the issue with a service call? Answer was yes. Within a few weeks, I began to worry when I did not receive the panels. A call to GE was made; however, no documentation was noted of the call made on 4/19. However, GE stated the information might be in parts department, but regardless now, that call was made after one year warranty, extended warranty would fix the issue. Long story short, the extended warranty states problem initiated under GE and GE states the extended warranty is responsible because the call was made outside the one year warranty. I expressed that GE never fulfilled responsibility as GE did not even notify us that panels were not available for our unit. In the meantime, I am the one out of a working dishwasher. Now I know $539 may not be a lot to invest, but we feel the loss. The frustration and lack of responsibility to correct the repair is just beyond me. GE is responsible. Oh and did I share that lack of communication with GE is horrible? A promised call within 12-24 hours just doesnt happen. Again, I know most would say its not worth the frustration, but it makes me sad that GE and Assurant Warranty company can get away with what I know is wrong. Weve learned from this ordeal. No more GE products in our household.

Bought the whole GE profile kitchen series 2 years ago. Last week the microwave went dark, blew a component, and is dead. With only two people using it off and on for reheating, hardly got our money worth. Called GE for assistance and went back to the store where it was purchased. No one offered any financial assistance with the loss. The microwave itself was $500. My husband and I are very disappointed in the product and service.

Less than three years ago, I purchased a microwave oven wall unit to replace an existing unit. Due to the size of the built-in cabinet, I was limited in choices. The cost of the unit was $2400. A few months ago, the interior wall of the unit began rusting and the enamel is peeling. I contacted the customer service dept via e-mail on their site. I was asked to send pictures and then informed that I should stop using the unit immediately due to the danger of arcing. I was also told that because I did not purchase the extended warranty, the best that GE could offer me was a new unit for $800. I asked for names of warranty companies and was given one name and number but told there were others that also offered the same service. I called this company and they clearly told me that the peeling and chipping was a manufacturer’s defect and would not have been covered by an extended warranty had I purchased one from any company. Then I contacted the GE repair service center and spoke with them. The man who answered explained that this is a cosmetic problem and that there was no danger of the microwave arcing unless there was less food in the microwave than the size of the area that was chipping. I am very disappointed in the response of GE, the pressure placed on me to make a decision in 7 days or the offer would be withdrawn, and the fact that the service department and the consumer service (complaint) department gave me entirely different responses to the same information and problem. I will probably have my cabinet rebuilt to avoid having to replace this unit with another GE appliance. Who would pay $$1600 for the use of a microwave/oven unit for less than three years? Unfortunately, GE seems to be the only company that makes a unit that fits the existing cabinet in my kitchen. Disappointing to say the least.

Dishwasher looks and works beautifully. It is slate black and I have never had to redo any dish or glass. It is located. About 12’ from our bedroom door and we turn in on before go to bed. It is so quiet that we never have our sleep disturbed.

Great microwave I have had for almost 10 years. It works like new. Its a name you can trust and not expensive at all. I have always believed in the GE name and their products. I have a dishwasher and dryer that work just as well. I will continue to buy GE products.

My experience with GE over range microwave oven (built in) as follows/ Unit Mod.JVM3160RF3SS. Ser.#GG248367A, this unit was produced April 2016. Review February 28, 2019, unit began to disconnect itself during normal use. This was done by way of throwing 15 amp breaker. New home with dedicated circuit = Yes. Online Problem shows indoor sensors interlocks not adjusted properly. Troubleshoot fee minimum $99 with parts estimate $250.00. We have been limping along for two months with frequent trips to basement resetting breaker, now the breaker trips when activated. Same thing happens on multiple circuits, via extension cord trial. Next step purchase NEW MICROWAVE that is not GE.
