Our front-loading washer, bought through Best Buy 6 months ago, has a soap dispenser that will not properly drain. LG customer service, now contacted 5-6 times, will not fix the problem without a proper paper receipt. Nothing I have is good enough for them. The most frustrating experience for a brand new appliance.

LG has one of the best refrigerators that I have ever used and was easy to maintain and clean which is an underrated feature. It was recommended and the sale made it unbeatable. It did everything I needed it to for the price. It was a good reliable refrigerator for the apartment that it was in. Well kept and easy to store and organize food and beverages. The shelving was well done and easy to use, allowed for no clutter while storing a vast amount of food and drinks. The features I liked the most are simply how it was laid out on the inside, perfect amount of shelving and organization abilities. It had quite the capabilities and was just as good as all of the LG products that I had previously used or owned so no disappointment.

I purchased an LG Dishwasher model number LDF7811WW for $610.00. From day 1, the thing never really cleaned our dishes (we also rinse them before putting them in the dishwasher too). This is our timeline with this lovely dishwasher: purchased it on 4-27-08. It wasn’t cleaning dishes, so on 3-26-09, I called there repair number. A guy came out and adjusted the cam for the upper and lower spray arms. It was still not cleaning dishes. I called the repair number again on 5-18-09. A serviceman came out again, had to replace the motor. On 3-22-10, it was having problems again not cleaning dishes. I called their repair number and a guy came out. He had to replace the sump assembly (which he said was the guts of the dishwasher). On 7-25-11, I had to call yet again. The dishwasher was not cleaning dishes. I called their number, he again had to replace the sump assembly (the guts of the dishwasher) and now it is 11 -2-12, I’m having trouble again. So within 4 years, I have had the major components of the dishwasher replaced 3 times and I’m sure it’s going to be the fourth when the guy comes again later this week. I called customer service for LG and they pass the buck and say it is up to my extended warranty people, which thank God we purchased (because we usually don’t). They say that the part has to go bad 3 times within a year to be considered for the lemon law. Well, if you ask me this is a lemon. I should have kept my 20-year-old Whirlpool dishwasher which I never had a problem with but just was updating the kitchen so we replaced it. Big mistake! In my opinion, this is not standing behind their product. I’m sure, to them people $610.00 is nothing, but in this household, it is very hard to come by and I want to get what I paid for. I could have bought lemons much cheaper at the grocery store. Buyers beware.

We have purchased an LG refrigerator that is less than a year old. We reported an issue that when you shut one door the other door pops open. While fridge still technically worked, this isnt supposed to happen (especially with amount we paid); it also affects the ice and temperature and ruined food. We have had two other brands of fridges (Frigidaire and GE) for over 20+ years and this one we can only speak of in terms of months. It is not energy efficiency and does not work properly. We reported the issue to LG and they sent their own technician. (This is after we tried the online tips to lean fridge as far back as possible, etc.) The technician came and did not even touch fridge. When we told him issue he said it was a design flaw and to contact a specific number. We called and they said they would get back to us within 24 hours - spoiler alert and first warning sign, they did not.A few days later I called customer service. The person was helpful and gave me a supervisor number to contact the following day. I did and they set up another appointment which I was told would be the last because they would make sure their own technician fixed it. The technician no-showed. I was persistent and called LG multiple times. In total the technician no showed three times. I used four vacation days and my fridge does not work properly. My customer service was mixed - in fact, one person emailed and said This can happen with top mounts because of the way the duct work is set up. followed by The customer just needs to push on both doors to make sure they are closed all the way before walking away. To me, this wasnt an acceptable response after multiple contacts and only a few mere months of ownership. Half of my customer service responses were terrible in tone and service. I was constantly pushed off and told to just schedule another appointment. I contacted customer service over 12 times, not including the four appointments, three of which LG no-showed after a 5 hour waiting block for appointment time. There were also several times - at least 3 (not including appointments) in which LG said they would follow up with me and never did. We can only talk about our LG product in terms of months. Our other fridges were a Frigidaire and GE unit which lasted 20 years and 22 years respectively. This LG fridge has only lasted a few months. In fact, its basically only worth the $50 my electric company will give me under their program to encourage replacement of energy inefficient units. I would not recommend this product or the customer service. I have copies of my contact, emails, and chat responses and summaries of my phone calls as I plan on following up. What good is a fridge door that makes another one open when you shut it? Apparently this is a common issue that LG has yet to address or fix but just keeps pushing down the line. I hope we can prevent other people from making the same mistake. If I can edit the post after submitting, I will share some of the poor customer service responses and a video of the issue, but I wanted to submit this as soon as possible.

Well, this is the first and LAST LG product Ill ever have. Waveforce top loader WT-5001CW. The consumer reports at the time we purchased the washer were good, but I guess only for the time they got any ink. After only three years this thing, like all the others reviewed here, throws up the UE (uneven) trouble code, and smells like a sweaty billy goat even with routine cleaning/preventative maintenance. Our clothes also have the same odor after being washed in this contraption, especially the towels. The first recall reprogramming was done shy of a year after delivery, so we never got to see it self destruct, although now I kind of wish it had because it would have at least provided some good entertainment considering how much this pos cost!! $800 for any sort of appliance that cant make it even 3 years without repairs, and cant perform the tasks it claims to = LEMON in my book. But the worst part of it all is, the company contracted to repair it is either heavily burdened with fixing these overgrown paperweights, or horribly understaffed, because theres apparently a two-week window in between each time they can get to me to diagnose and repair, with parts having to be sent from some God-forsaken dirt stain way out somewhere! Maybe I should feel fortunate that so far we havent been duped into dumping more money into this HE pit, but I shouldnt be having to take off from work for bs like this; I still lose money if I dont go to work, right?! Im firmly starting to believe that there is nothing new thats worth owning. Maybe you should too! LG should be BOYCOTTED for their transgressions against the consumers, and manufacturing should be brought back to AMERICA!

The odor on my clothing and towels is absolutely offensive and I feel like everyone who comes close to me can notice it. I certainly hope that anyone who has a desire to purchase an LG front load washer reads all of these negative comments. I wiped out the inner rubber gasket. I could hardly get my finger inside of it and out came globs of black mold. I continue to run bleach through the machine as well as the fresheners that are recommended for front load washers. The odor still remains. I want my top load washer back, so I can return to Tide Mountain Spring detergent. My family was always complimented on how fresh our clothing smelled and I miss that! Shame on you, LG. You should be having a serious recall of all of these machines!

We have had an F3 error code issue for months, it threw the error for the first time 2 years to the month from date of manufacture. We have had the range for 26 months and the error for the last six months of that. After numerous calls with LG they would tell us to unplug the unit and at first that would clear the error only for it to return a few days to a week later, then when those calls resulted in the error never clearing they suggested that we have a tech out to fix it at our own expense since it was beyond warranty. After numerous visits from a LG referred appliance repair company, having LG first suggest we spend $200 on a part to replace the buttons, then when that didnt work asked to spend another $160 on the actual control panel part for the electronic system LG shipped a part for this stove which does not fit in the actual model we have. They apparently have discontinued the original part that is needed, at this point there is no part that fits our range which was manufactured 2 years ago in March 2018, we received the stove in June 2018 and have had issues with the F3 error button in a continuous shortage stage since about March 2020.This was not a cheap gas range. It cost ~$2,000 and to have spent $360 on parts + another $200 on labor at this point we are so frustrated. that is $560 that we could have put towards a stove that would not be a continuous pain the the side to have repaired, for an issue that should not be coming up so close to the manufacture date on an appliance of this cost only to find that they dont make the part we need any longer. I would not recommend purchasing a LG range to anyone I know.

I dont write reviews but this company is terrible even the authorized repairman will tell you to find a different brand. I bought the bottom freezer fridge five years ago. Since then Ive had the ice maker break which is $200. A repairman out twice to fix other fridge related problems and now the compressor blew. The parts are covered but labor is $500. The worst customer service ever. Im chatting with them online and they provide three service companies that are authorized LG repair guys are use, one of them to come out and diagnose my room refrigerator. Once they tell me the problem I call LG to see if its covered under warranty. I purchased a new warranty through LG to find out that its nothing is covered. My recommendations do NOT buy this refrigerator and if you do buy all warranties. At the end of the day Im over $800 into this refrigerator on top of the initial purchase price. Not acceptable. And by the way the LG technical support when you call isnt some Third World country and they dont understand half of the things youre telling them.

We purchased an lxsc22396s refrigerator and it stopped working within 90 days. We purchased this refrigerator on 05/24/18 (paid over $2000 for it) and on 07/23/18, it stopped dispensing water, the ice melted, it stopped cooling, and cost us over $250 of spoiled groceries. We contacted LG and they sent out a technician who perform a reset and stated that it will start working in about a week. We contacted LG again to request a loner fridge until ours starts working again. Jovy from LG told us that they cant do anything about it and we just have to wait until they fix it. Very poor customer service from LG. We also submitted a request for a refund for $250 of spoiled food. They told us that all managers were busy and would call us back later in the day. They never called us back. We havent had this refrigerator 90 days and its already giving us problems and costing us money.

1.5 years after buying a brand new LG stove, it broke down. Brand new LG fridge and freezer broke after 3-4 years and we called someone to fix it at the same time, they told us it would be $80 to bring someone in. We agreed. They then told us everything had to be replaced and charged us $400 for that information without a single warning that we would have additional charges after that $80. Instead we were told when repairs are made the $80 would be subtracted from the repair cost except the repair cost was more than a new appliance. STAY AWAY.

Electric Range model number LDE3017SW. After only using my electric range a couple of times, I noticed steam and grease lines inside the door between the two glass panels. These lines and this film and grease have continued to cover the inside of the double paned window. My range always looks dirty as if I need clean the door windows, but the grease lines and steam lines are on the inside. I called to ask them to come to fix the seal or replace the door and they said they are unable to do so unless I pay someone to come take the door apart to clean it. I should not have to disassemble the door to clean it. The seal between the window panes are faulty or defective. I had my first Maytag range for the first 34 years without anything beyond normal wear and tear from use. This LG one cooks and bakes well, but has this issue which is hard to look at everyday. Also, the top is white and the burner glass top areas already have stain. This is not as big of an issue for me as the streaked windows in the door. LG has refused to send anyone out at their cost when this is a manufacturers defect.

I purchased my washer 7/17/2014. On or about 3 weeks ago I noticed a little puddle of water on the floor. I didnt think much about it, then the next day I was washing a load of clothes, and the little puddle became a flood. I called Lowes, Moreno Valley, California where I purchased the machine, and told my salesperson what had happened. he stated, Lets just bring out a new one. That sounded like a good idea since the machine was less than 2 months old. Then I was told, We have to have a tech come out and see what the problem is, before we can do an exchange. Ok, well the tech was scheduled for the next week. I work, so I had to arrange for someone to be at my house for the tech. (in the meantime - Lowes did send out a loaner machine, I have to do laundry. So the tech came out, and because the machine was not hooked up, he said he couldnt do anything and Lowes would have to have someone come and put the washer back in the laundry room. I called and spoke with my salesperson. So now they are going to send another tech out and will have their people come and hook up the washer. The men that came out and took the loaner away and put my washer in the laundry room, managed to put a scratch on the front of my washer. The next day the tech arrives, he tells me there is a hole in the pump, and he will have to order the part. I call Lowes, and am once again told that they will send out a loaner until my washer can be repaired, so here it is Friday 3 weeks later, no washer, and told that Lowes will have someone come out and paint the scratch. First the manager said he would knock of 10% of what I paid for the machine. Is he crazy? I had a new machine, looks like a used one. My complaint is with both LG and Lowes. Both places have given me the runaround, and the worst customer service.

We purchased a matching LG Tromm washer and dryer (front loading), approximately three years ago. For at least the past two years we have had a terrible time with clothes smelling sour and mildewy after being washed. Subsequent researched turned up countless complaints about this same problem. Weve tried many fixes some of which seemed to help a little, but the problem would always returned. The dryer unit started making a terrible thumping sound after about two years of use. I still do not know exactly why this is occurring. Some of what I read suggested it was the silicone wheels that get warped from the heat. Other posts indicate it is a problem with a crack in the barrel. My biggest issue at this point with the dryer is that it has never dried the clothes very well. I routinely have to run two or more cycles to get the clothes dry, especially things like jeans and towels. In addition, this morning I noticed that the dryer actually stops before the end of the cycle. I had it set for 1:43 Anti-bacterial setting (ironically to help with the smell from the washer), but the dryer cut off after only 30 minutes.Considering how much we paid for these items, it is very upsetting and frustrating. I have not contacted LG, in part because so many have done so to no avail and I dont have time to waste on such useless attempts.

I bought a new washer dryer set from Home Depot 70 days ago (a little over 2 months). The bulb in the dryer wasnt working, ignored it for a while then decided to call LG service to have it fixed. It was a buck but what the heck, its a new dryer everything should work right. LG says the bulb isnt covered by warranty and that I can purchase it from them. WHAT? A brand new Washer Dryer for $1800 has a $1 busted bulb which they claims isnt covered under warranty. I ask why not and the answer I get is that the bulb is a consumable. A consumable, like a detergent or lint paper? To get to this bulb I have to unhinge the door, unscrew the cover inside the dryer and then replace. I thought consumables are something you use all the time, not have to open a screw and unhinge stuff to get to. So essentially they expect bulbs (and I wonder what else? belts? heating element? motor?) to keep failing in their dryer and they get away by saying its a consumable. LG has the WORST customer service ever and NEVER believe their warranty. BTW it took me 8 tries to get someone to Review the case thats 2 hours of effort to get someone to review an active warranty. Would you ever want to spend $1800 and be told the warranty is useless?

I’ve been wondering why my clothes have little holes in them, get pilly and faded so quickly, and even get tied in a knot sometimes when I do a load of laundry. I finally realized it’s the new washing machine (WT7600HWA). I am so disappointed. The spin cycle is so high that it’s causing little holes In my clothes. I believe it’s also causing the clothes to get all entangled and tied up in a knot which is difficult to untangle and make them a very wrinkled. I am very unhappy with this washing machine and very disappointed. I would not recommend it to anyone. I also don’t like the cycles are so long, why should I take an hour and a half to do a load of laundry? That uses more electricity and water that way as well.

After only a year and two months after purchase, our LG dishwasher (LDS4821ST) is obviously having a drain pump issue, and thankfully we purchased the service plan at Home Depot. This washer sucks. It has become noisy, the panel freaks out and sometimes you cannot choose certain wash cycles, and now this drain pump issue. Its a huge piece of **. Follow my advice, since I know people with more expensive washers - get something like a Bosch or, if you really have the cash, a Miele. If you purchase an LG, you will regret it. Oh, and we also have an LG refrigerator, which also sucks. Although there are no real problems yet, it cools unevenly, and even when the unit is set at 36, some zones read 42-44 degrees (I have a digital chefs thermometer), which is in the danger zone for food (40/140 rule).

Words can not describe the joy I have when I use and even more appropriately when I clean up after my husband cooks. I never liked or would even consider electric cooking before, but this is an absolute dream. A pot boils over? No problem. Use a rag and wipe it up even when the pot is still cooking, it lowers the heat the minute you turn down the temperature and if you pick up the pan and walk away, the burner shuts itself off. I have considered an electric oven before but with the convection and induction features, I feel like I have died and gone to the great kitchen in the sky. I know that sounds a little extreme but after dealing with a messy stove top & an oven that I have to get down on my hands & knees to clean, this is really a God-send.I also got a great deal on my appliance from eBay. Even had a manufactures warranty. LG has been our go to brand for T.V.s, fridge and now my kitchen. The only draw back is trying to find pans that dont cost a fortune and are of good quality, also someone that can tell me why my cast iron griddle cracked in half when I tried to heat it up to cook a steak. Not a major problem. Just would like some answers.

We had purchased a LG 3 door refrigerator in 2014 month of October, yesterday it stopped cooling or making ice. We called the number listed on the refrigerator. Got a automated system that sent us a text message to troubleshoot the problem. We did exa5 as was given in the text. Waited 24 hours, woke up this morning and that refrigerator was still not cooling or made any ice. Called LG back. Spoke with one of their service representatives who informed me what I already knew that if it was my compressor I have a 10 year warranty on this part but I would have to pay a service call charge and a labour charges if it was the compressor. The charges were as follows. 125.00 for the service call and if compressor labour is 250.00. Researching online I found that there a class action lawsuit against them for this issue. They have known about this and have kept continuing to sell these refrigerators with this issue. Also while researching I found out that this happens after 5 years and my extended warranty has expired. This is not right. I asked the representative about my food loss and he state to me after I had this repair done to call back and speak to a customer service representative and they would give me a compensation for my food loss but I needed receipts for the food I had in my refrigerator. I asked him who keeps their receipts and he brushed it off by stating call after the repair is complete and speak to the food loss department. I have a receipt but it wont let me upload. Food in fridge was cool but not usual cold. Temp readings still said 0 for freezer and 37 for fridge... I called dealer who sold it to us, of course, Not his problem. Called LG who initially insisted I had a smart diagnosis feature which I did not, another 20 min wasted, finally a repairman comes over. Regular repairs would definitely be a deal breaker because, Ill be forced to pay or spend extra money on these items if not investing in another brand. Im a male who washes most of the time because the wife is away so, I have known what cycle and temperature to use when washing whites, colored or black garments. So because this product is seamless to operate Ive never had any problems doing my laundry. Beside the price fitted in my budget.

I felt really good about LG Refrigerators until mine had an issue. It really was not an issue at all, but the company that they sent to check it out made it into a big issue. I had called and said, My freezer was frosted over. Did I just not got it shut good or is there something wrong? There was also a shelf that had a crack. They would need to come out and fix that. And they said theyd take a look at it when they come out. So, the guy came out and fixed the other things, and then he said there were two fans for the freezer and one of them was only working part of the time. He also said he was gonna have to order another fan. And he scheduled to be back out the following Sunday to replace that. The following Sunday came around, and he didnt show up. I was here all day. I was calling them and they said he was gonna be here, but he never showed up. So, we set it again for the following Sunday. Again, the second Sunday in a row, my only day-off of the week, and I was sitting at the house at the couch, and again, he did not show up. And then, that got me. At one point, during the day, they lied and said they just talked to him and that he was gonna be calling me. I didnt get a call. And when I called them back, they said they were still trying to get a hold of him. So, then, I was trying to get LG to send somebody else, but they go right back to the same outfit. The third Sunday in a row, a different guy showed up and he took one look and said there is only one fan on this refrigerator freezer, and its working fine. He said, “You probably didnt have the door shut good, the reason it frosted over. So, I was really angry. And then, during this whole time, LG was sending me things, trying to get me to take another extended warranty on this. And Im like, Youre not even taking care of me on your original warranty. Im not about to spend more money for an additional warranty when I got treated so crappy in the first place.” Another thing is the first time, when the guy did come and he said that was what it needed, it was not long after that that also, it quit making ice. And I told him that when I was waiting for all those times for somebody to come back out, and its not making ice now. When the other guy did come out, he looked. The first guy had turned the ice maker off and never turned it back on.I like the refrigerator. I like that for the size because that size is the only size in my condo that I can get a refrigerator. And its working fine now, but at the same time, Ive been so upset about how I got treated, and I should have never been treated that way. I wish LG would do something to make up for it like give me another year of extended warranty and dont charge me for it. I didnt get my moneys worth.

We have been owners of LG appliances for over a decade. We bought them all
We have been owners of LG appliances for over a decade. We bought them all washer, dryer fridge and dishwasher. We have had problems with several them for which we have received no appropriate support. First it was the washer or all the writing came off the front within 3 months. I was told there was nothing they could do. They couldnt send me new letters to reapply. Oh well too bad. We moved on. Then there was a dishwasher conveniently right after the one-year warranty we had a problem and had to pay $250 for service call for which the gentleman was here for a mere few minutes to fix the problem that most likely could have been fixed over the phone with direction, not costing us $250.Then just 14 months after this we end up getting a pinhole in the drain hose of our dishwasher which floods our sons basement bedroom. Causing numerous panels of our ceiling to be damaged and need replacement not to mention the wood floor below it that is lifting. All these are problems associated with a faulty dishwasher. When we call to report this problem we were told we had to buy a new hose mechanism and that would solve all of our problems. So sorry about the other damage to your home, not our responsibility. So we paid the almost $100 for a new hose, waited a week for it to be sent to us and we had it replaced. Then we come to find out; Oh so sorry your dishwasher must be reset by a specialist. Yep you got it. Another $250 will be necessary to get your dishwasher Ive only a few years back up and running. If the first rep had told us that then the hose would have been covered in the service call.So we are expected to spend $600 on a dishwasher that cost us 800 within a few years. Not acceptable. We ask to speak to a manager. After holding for almost a half an hour we get told a manager will call us back. We are third in line. That was last week. It is now Tuesday and we are still waiting for a return call. I will never again never purchased any LG products whatsoever. I will also share my opinion for these products openly and freely as I am doing with you. I have worked in a manufacturing environment for many decades. What I can tell you is no manufacturer is 100% perfect. But, what shows a great manufacturer is what they do after a problem is brought to their attention. It is apparent LG doesnt care after you spend your hard-earned money on a product of theirs. They will ignore you, push you away and not care whether you buy another Appliance or not because they are of the false impression that we will forget about this and spend our hard-earned money on another one of their faulty products. That will not be the case at least with us. So I warned you check in to the manufacturer and how they deal with customer service complaints before you spend your hard-earned money on anything of any manufacturer but especially LG.

I bought an LG over the stove exhaust hood microwave in September 2009. Less than a year later, the door cracked along the frame. This hood was covered under warranty. Again, in 9 months, the second door did the same thing. I was referred to Warner Stellians headquarters customer service. Susan ** dealt with LG, who said too much time had lapsed since the original warranty expired. She then contacted their sales rep who came back with the same response. Therefore, Warners Stellian will do nothing about the door. I think the second door should have been under warranty because it was a new door. Otherwise, the microwave should be replaced. The plastic construction of the microwave door is defective; its failed twice, both times within 9 months of installation.

I purchased an LG model # LRFD22850ST about 5 years ago. On and off for the last 5 years, my fire alarms would go off. We could never find what the cause was. Thought maybe it was just the batteries needing to be replaced in my alarms. Never thought it could be the lights inside our refrigerator. Then one day, I opened up the refrigerator to the smell of burnt plastic. The light fixture cover was melted to the refrigerator. The sockets were black, and the food on the top shelf was as hot as if it just came out of the oven. I peeled off the light fixture and was able to get the light bulbs out. I unplugged the entire unit and called LG. They told me there was a problem (I later discovered there was a class action lawsuit) and that they would send someone out to fix the problem. No charge to me. I was told that I should be fine to plug the unit back in but to make sure not to put any light bulbs in. They set up an appointment with a service provider they chose. The service provider called me and LG and refused to take the call. They said it was very difficult to deal with LG and were never able to get the parts needed. LG then chose another service provider. Same story. They refused the call for same reason. LG then informed me that they ran out of service providers in my area and that my case was being transferred to the Locator Department (I guess this happens quite a bit for the company to set up an entire department to find people / someone to service their appliances!). They said that would take 5 - 7 business days. Of course, this was on a Thursday and Columbus Day is on Monday. So they probably wont even start to look till Tuesday, which means seven business days is actually more like 2 weeks. But I should be ok to plug it back in and wait all that time and take the chance that my house will burn down! I have spoken to several repair companies and many salespeople, and all seem to believe that if an appliance goes on fire you should never plug it back in. So Im off to buy another appliance. Dont think I will ever get anything from LG. Customer service was horrible. If youre looking at appliances, I would think twice on an LG product.

I bought an LG refrigerator in Sept 2016, it failed April 2019. I have been without a working refrigerator for over 4 months. They have attempted to replace the compressor 3 times, 2 of these times they also replaced the motherboard, each time its failed. LG told me that they would attempt to repair 3 times before a replacement would be issued. On the day of the 3rd failed attempt I called and was told that they were submitting the approval for a replacement. After not hearing back I called and Im now being told that each of those repairs fell into the same type of repair and that they will be sending a technician to try something different. Not until today was I offered a $150 credit towards a mini- refrigerator. Im being given quite the run-around, a different story each time I call it seems and Im at the end of my rope. How much time am I supposed to take off work to meet repair men, will they attempt this new type of repair 3 more times, then will they try something new? How long will this go on - a year? A refrigerator should last longer than 2.5 years, PERIOD. They are aware they are selling defective refrigerators. There are class action lawsuits about these compressors. Enough is enough. Send me a new unit or give me my money back.

I cannot wait to buy a new dishwasher. This LG inverter direct drive DOES NOT dry dishes, glasses, utensils, nothing really. Water is often left standing on the top of dishes and glasses. The smell coming from the dishwasher is something Ive been working hard to get rid of to no avail. Bleach, vinegar, you name it, doesnt fix it. As of lately, my dishes are not coming out clean either. I always rinse my dishes/utensils before placing them in the dishwasher. I actually questioned myself if I even ran the dishwasher because of how dirty they came out-and it did run! At this point, Id rather just hand wash my dishes to know they are actually clean and dont come out smelling terrible. The only plus to this dishwasher, is that it is quiet. Id take a louder dishwasher that actually does its job over this quiet one!

I too have thrown out hundreds of dollars in food. All that frozen unfrozen meat right in the garbage. All the water from the ice maker going into my grout. Trying to find somebody to loan you a spare refrigerator. What I worry about now... is even using it after its fixed because what it sounds like is all these people are getting it fixed only to have it fart out and go through the same thing a month later. We only use stainless steel cleaner and are not able to remove the marks as it appears the finish is coming off. One of the marks on the handle is the size of a quarter. LG is unable to help as its a cosmetic issue. Is anyone having problems with the finish on their dishwasher? Wed like to determine whats causing the problem to avoid further marks. I have a stainless steel LG French Door Refrigerator that I purchased from Home Depot. After approximately 1 year, the refrigerator front seal ripped. When I contacted LG, the stated comment was that they had never had this problem reported before, and it now was not covered by warranty because of the time limit. It is not covered by the store warranty that I bought as it only covers mechanical problems. Frequently, the ice maker freezes (and the door tray simply cannot be removed - poor design) requiring me to use a hair dryer to thaw it out. What a problem! This is not covered by warranty. I contacted LG about this problem, no response. Personally, I would never buy another LG product.

Absolute worst customer service ever. $3000 French Door LG Refrigerator stopped working one month after going out of warranty, so basically at the 13 month period, $300 worth of food in the trash! Had to purchase a repair plan for $450 to get it fixed. It is the seal system that is causing the problem. Nobody in my area knows how to fix that. I have asked for my money back. NO, they said. A relative of mine is an LG repair man and he said LG has been trying to hire him but he does not want to work for them because their compensation is very poor. No wonder they dont have anyone available for certain jobs. Now we are using our old LG in the garage (Im glad that I didnt throw it away!) for our food. We wanted all of our appliances to match in the stainless steel color. Stay away from LG fridges. We also have stove, microwave, dishwasher, washer and dryer. Those have worked great so far!

Purchased this unit in Feb. 2011. Eight months later the ice maker quit. LG replaced it. 6 months later it failed again, this time on me. Two months later water supply to ice maker froze and pushed the water line out of the back of the unit, wet floor, ruined ceiling and wall in basement. 4 months later, water solenoid failed in the open position, filled the freezer with water, large block of ice and ruined food. Two weeks ago noticed the freezer was frosting up bad. Found that the freezer fan was not working. Ordered new motor. Upon returning from work this evening the refrigerator was 62 degrees, more ruined food. Called LG, said they had other complaints of the same. Offered to schedule a repairman for me. We also purchased LG washer/dryer, high end stainless steel. Washer is ok but we have experienced same problems as many others. The dryer LG Tromm DLE3777W never dried clothes correctly. It takes 90 minutes to dry an average load of clothes. An energy star product it is not. The repair guy gave us the same ** about the vent being dirty or clogged. Never was the case. Actually sounds like the repair guy was reading off a script. The second time to the house, the repair guy stated that the dryer was operating as designed. The real problem is that Home Depot is selling this stuff. Home Depots reps are promoting this stuff and LG doesnt stand behind their product. Two options: contact the Better Business Bureau in your state (they are usually really good) and the second option is contact your state Attorney General. LG is selling a defective product and that, in every state, is fraud.

I purchased a double oven in 2018 & within six months the numbers on all the knobs were coming off. Mind you, I paid over $1300 for this range. I requested replacement parts through filing a complaint with the BBB, because LG wanted me to buy the knobs, because the warranty had expired after emailing & talking with them on several occasions. First, they set the wrong color knobs, the second time they only sent two knobs, with one being damaged & the wrong style and the third time, all the knobs they sent were different & they only sent four. This is the worst company Ive ever had to deal with & the worst & cheapest made appliance Ive ever bought. Ive never had an oven where the numbers have came off the knobs. They are ripping off the consumers by producing these defective knobs & then trying to make you buy more & when you file a complaint, they give you the runaround & send you the wrong knobs, so they dont have to replace them for free. I have been going through this process for two months & still do not have the correct knobs on my oven. I spent over $5000 buying all new kitchen appliances and this is how they treat their customers. Its not like my appliances werent registered on their site, so they had the correct model & serial number. Buyers BEWARE when buying LG products. You will get the run around when trying to get the right parts & cheap production.

I remodeled my kitchen in 2011 and installed a LG gas range (model LRG3093ST). My range is right at 2 years old. For the last 6 months, the knobs have been splitting and spinning on the posts so that they do not turn the gas totally off. At first I smelled gas and could not figure out what was wrong until one split and lost a chunk of plastic to the point that turning it did not turn the flame off at all. I wrapped wire tightly around the posts to limp along, but now all are broken to the point none will turn on or off the gas. When I contacted LG, I was told they were out of warranty and I would be responsible for the purchase of the knobs. I told MCM Electronics, which they referred me to, that I would buy more knobs if they are better quality - not plastic. However, they are only authorized to sell original (defective) parts and they referred me to contact LG directly. After reading these reviews, how does LG get away with continuing to provide defective parts of any kind that are dangerous? If this were a car, the units would be recalled or new replacement parts would have to be upgraded. Leaking gas and fires can kill as well as car accidents. I will certainly do better research before purchasing any appliance again in the future - I am sure it will not be LG.

LG Dishwasher LDS4821 - We purchased our LG dishwasher in mid 2012. Our first bad experience was with the installation, as the legs supporting this monster are made of plastic and the installers completely broke the frame. (I found out when it starting tilting and had to call Home Depot, who replaced the dishwasher). These dishwashers are so flimsy, they never sit correctly between the cabinets and require occasional adjustments to keep the door from scraping the sides of the cabinets. The next problem was a strange scraping noise that would occur during the wash cycle... Turned out to be the pump, which was also leaking, which rusted out the motor. Our repair guy replaced both. The next repair was with the bottom door seal, which was leaking water. Within months after the stated repairs, the HE heating element light started flashing and the dishwasher wouldnt complete the cycle. Once again, our repair guy came out, tested the heating element (which was working) and determined that the control panel was malfunctioning and needed replacement. Now on to the minor issues: detergent door may or may not open during the wash cycle, bottom rack has a tendency to stick and requires being lifted and re-seated, dishwasher may or may not do a good job washing the dishes (depending on its mood that day). At the time of purchase, we were remodeling and bought all LG appliances. After the above experiences, I will never buy their appliances again.

Our 25-year-old Kitchen Aid dishwasher died and sadly our landlord replaced it with an LG dishwasher. Whether it works to our satisfaction has yet to be seen; the design is my big complaint. We are bending over literally almost to the floor to load the dishes. I own some giant pots, but none big enough to justify the enormous gap between the top and bottom shelves. Its ridiculous. I actually stubbed my toe and injured myself on the open door, which practically rests on the ground! The prongs are lined too far apart to economically place small dishes and plates and all in a row, so attempting to find a sensible way to group like dishes and glasses is pointless. Fortunately, we hadnt thrown away the utensil tray from the Kitchen Aid; I dont understand the covers on the junky LG tray, some of which stay open and some dont. Its just a cheaply and poorly designed, impractical product.

Im on Day 5 without a refrigerator. It started with one of the two ice makers quitting. Service Call to LG difficult to understand, but we shook the freezer and would wait 24 hours to see if that worked. Threw out a lot of food. I requested a service call but was denied. After 24 hours, the entire refrigerator stopped working. Call #2, and throw out the rest of the food. We were told to pull the refrigerator from the wall and unplug it, and run a phone check through their system. Advised to wait 24 hours because it seemed to the operator that it was fixed. Woke up to water all over the floor. The machine is humming but its not cooling. 75 degrees on interior thermometer. This was the third call and a service call was placed on our behalf. Finally, request for service call was authorized. Wait wait wait. Holiday week-end. Service called Tuesday and appeared Tues. Reported the compressor and panel needed to be replaced. Wait for two more days while the parts are obtained. THIS IS A NIGHTMARE! Why did I think LG was the best there was? I will get this repaired and forget about buying the other kitchen appliances to match it. Good point $300 food reimbursement will be provided because I have a service plan. A drop in the bucket and 7 days to resolve a refrigerator issue is crazy. My dad had heart bypass and was working fine within 5 days... If I owned LG, I would have brought me a new refrigerator the first day I called.

This problem dates back to April 2019. My 1 yr old LG Refrigerator stopped working so I called LG and they dispatched a Tech from A&E repair (Sears). The tech told me it was compressor and evaporator and would be about 1000 to fix. I told him I would contact LG as it should be under warranty. So he charge me 119 dollars and left. I called LG. They said it was in fact under warranty and shouldnt have been charged. They dispatched the same repair people 1 weeks later. So it now been 2wks. with no Refrigerator. Repair guy came and had to order the parts (why couldn’t he see the first guys diagnostic).2 more weeks without Refrigerator. Guy showed up and fixed the problem. Fast forward to July 15th 2019 dead refrigerator again, So I called LG. They assured me this would be fixed in a timely manner! Well they promised by the 31st and A&E confirmed it but to no avail, A&E rescheduled it for the 9th of AUG. Well after hours on phone they said they will come here on the 7th which is today. The guy shows up and looks at it, takes the back off and says we have more issues not just the compressor but the evaporator and he will need to order parts. So now it’s been 3 weeks and he can’t be back here until the 26th.We have been living out of ice chest to keep our food cold. We are a family of 4 so wasting a lot of time and money for ice, I am a heart patient and need to eat a certain way, so I can’t rely on fast food. This has been a complete nightmare. I spent over 2000 dollars on a product I thought was quality. On another note I purchased a LG 60 inch TV and it died 14 months later just out of warranty--1000 dollars down the drain. So much for Lifes Good.

Its a terrible design flaw. Rust is on the hinges where no chlorine or detergent goes. I have pictures... Paint will not help. The entire under part of the area above the bin but connected to the place where you put detergent or bleach is completely rusted out and the metal is so bad. I can stick my finger through it. They sent me an email... that the rust in your washing machine bleach dispenser is a result of the detergent or other additives being spilled that have not been wiped clean. Chlorine bleach is corrosive and will erode the finish if not cleaned immediately. If any spills should happen make sure to wipe it up immediately and the area cleaned with warm water and a soft cloth. Touch-up paint maybe use to cover the area, if not service may be necessary. How could LG design a washing machine that uses bleach and detergent knowing full well that it might get on areas besides the stainless bin and get under this area and all around the entire top of the machine and rust out. That is what happened.

I purchased an LG refrigerator on June 4, 2019. LG delivered the refrigerator a few weeks later and unfortunately, it was severely damaged when it arrived at my residence. The delivery company returned the damaged unit and delivered another refrigerator a week later. The 2nd refrigerators left door contained the water and ice dispenser of which neither worked. I spoke with LG customer service and they indicated that a local repair company would come out and assess the issue. National Platinum Services was the local company and it took them two weeks to show up and when they did, they were not able to diagnose the problem. There has been no follow up since they left so currently I am still waiting on how this situation is going to be resolved. Bottom line is that LG doesnt seem to value good customer service so in the future I will look elsewhere when shopping for any product that they may market to the public.

The LG refrigerator was energy efficient, stainless steel with side by side doors. I liked the refrigerator size. The ice maker features were nice. But the pullout freezer would get full fast. The filter needed to be changed too often. I wish the freezer was bigger. I had to buy another freezer because the freezer was so small. Not enough space. Sometimes the food in the freezer would defrost. And the freezer on the bottom wasnt very big and would filled too full. But I really just liked the way the refrigerator looks. It is a sleek looking piece of equipment. I did wish it had a few more luxury features. But, overall, it was the best bang for the buck. It had good reviews, had a good price and it was attractive. Id buy the refrigerator again.

Bought a LG washer. It leaked. I have 2 different warranties. One with LG and one with Leons. Nobody wants to replace this machine. It is not even a year old. My insurance company has even said not my fault and paid me for floor damages to the amount of $8314.48 plus my $1,000 deductible. But I still have a broken machine. Never buy LG or shop at Leons furniture. Their warranty cost me an extra $199.95 on top of the machines cost. Tell me what good is warranty if nobody stands by it.

The machine itself stinks and It is so bad I have to use air fresheners in my laundry room. I tried the tub cleaning liquid (whoever thought you would have to clean a washing machine!) and bleach several times and only on the day I do this does it not smell. By the next day the smell is back! Dont buy this washing machine! I am so sorry I purchased it and I am ready to bust it up with a hammer so I can get a new one (never LG again!). We bought our LG refrigerator 3 years ago and were so excited to make such a big purchase. We shopped around and loved the features of the one we picked. After just 2 years, we had the compressor go out on it. We were frustrated but weren’t too upset because things break and we had a warranty. Fast forward to less than a year later and we have been forced to function out of ice chests in our living room because the compressor went out again. After doing more research I found that this is an issue many others are having. I am beyond upset. I have lost around $500 in food over the 2 incidents and already spent around $100 in ice to keep what food we have cold. This is absolutely unacceptable when you pay over $2500 for an appliance. My husband’s friend has the same fridge for less time than us and already had to replace his compressor. I will never own another LG appliance again knowing that they are fully aware of these compressor issues yet still produce and sell these appliances.

I placed calls to LG to arrange for my 3 year old refrigerator to have a new compressor installed. I had a local company confirm this was the reason for the breakdown. The first call at the beginning of the year did not ever end up with a response or resolution (someone was supposed to contact me). I waited several months and contacted LG again. The support desk had me upload all of my warranty information to their site through a provided link. Again, I was assured that someone would contact me to arrange this repair within a short period of time. Again, this did not ever occur.Today, almost a year later, I have purchased a new appliance because keeping my food in a cooler for 10 months was not an option. I have posted the fridge for scrap on Kijiji and a local person responded within an hour to remove it from my home. Too bad that LG couldnt have responded as efficiently. A lot of wasted money in both purchase price and time trying to resolve/arrange the warranty. My questions are these. How is it that a manufacturer is not held accountable for failure to provide what they are legally responsible for? What recourse is there when this process fails? At what point does one give up because they have spent hours and hours trying to get the warranty service? Like many Canadians, I am a working individual and dont have endless hours to dedicate to continued follow-up. Appliances are expensive purchases yet there seems to be no process where the companies are made responsible for providing the warranty coverage they espouse. My hope is that this changes in the future.

The knobs of this range are beyond cheap. When using the super burner (right front knob), I turned it to the OFF position. I left the house shortly after and received a call from my family that they smelled gas. Went home of find, that the right front burner in off position did not have a flame, but left the gas on, thus filling my house with gas. When I call LG, they gave me the run around then said, since I purchased it from Best Buy, I had to call them to complain about the knobs. Now for the math, 5 knobs, 3 broke. By the way, one of the knobs that did not break had a metal strip around it, to reinforce the plastic. Husband works in quality and said it would have cost them around $1.00 per knob to put that little piece of metal on each knob. LG stand behind your stuff! And build more durable knobs to start! WILL NEVER BUY LG AGAIN.

We purchased the LG washer / dryer set on 1-11-20 from Warner Stallion. Right from the start the dryer makes a constant banging noise like there’s a pair of tennis shoes drying. I called the appliance store that we purchased from and after waiting 4 days for a call back they finally scheduled a service tech to come out, he told me that unfortunately all LG dryers sound like, there is no fix so I just have to put up with it. I called the salesperson we had and explained to her, she said she never heard of this problem.... I didn’t hear from her again. It was also very frustrating as my husband had taken a day off to attend to this and not only did he wait for nothing I waited over 40 minutes to get an answer. Im not sure what kind of business LG runs but one thing I do know is that I will never purchase a product from them again. Our LG fridge compressor went out after 3 years, so no cooling/freezing at all. Called LG support and it’s under warranty. They gave 10 repair places that they would pay for the repair. Of the 10, only 2 even serviced my Chicagoland area (not a rural area with very few companies). Of the 2 that did, the earlier either could come out was in a month. So I panicked and called a local spot that could. Over $700. LG will not honor my warranty because I used someone outside of who they approved even though everyone they approved couldn’t come and fix it within a months time. Washer is staining clothing, and the stains will not come out. Ive had 2 repair people (both sent by LG) come out and they have both told me it should be replaced. After numerous calls to LG, and their stating they never got any feedback from the repair techs, they finally tracked down the comments. LG has said that the feedback they received from the first service tech was he couldnt find the problem...and since he didnt even take out any tools to dismantle the machine, that is true. But when he told me it should be replaced, and that would be what he would communicate to LG, I believed him. After asking for a 2nd opinion, they sent a 2nd tech who also advised it should be replaced. However, LG said that 2nd tech said it needed to be repaired but that I declined further service (which is absolutely false). Happy to have it repaired, replaced, whatever...just want to have a washing machine that doesnt leave stains on my clothing...but it seems LG doesnt want to replace a faulty product, nor do they want to send qualified repair people to actually address the problem. Super frustrated, and will never buy another LG product again, as this experience has been completely awful.

Purchased a new LG refrigerator and glass top LG range from Lowes, Kailua Kona in 09/2016. From day 1 the range was faulty. Burners flickered on and off every 2 seconds regardless of how high unit was set. Store said this was normal. Shortly after, the outside coil to one of the larger burners stopped working. Refrigerator - we were not aware of a slow leak inside the water dispenser until rust appeared at the rim of the dispenser and caused the stainless steel film to come off. In researching online it is known that LG is aware of the refrigerator water dispenser issues. We did have the range repaired while under warranty but because we were not aware of the slow leak in the fridge we will need to cover the $800 cost to replace door and dispenser ourselves. This is unfair given LG is aware they sold an appliance with a defective water/ice dispenser.

My girlfriend redid her kitchen 2 years ago. She bought LG fridge and LG gas stove last year. We smelt gas after turning off the stove top then notice it was still on. The plastic on the back side of the knob had cracked so it wouldnt turn the gas all the way off even though it showed it should be off. She called customer service and made her pay for a brand new knob. The stove at the time was just over a year old. Now another knob is cracked so she will have to buy another knob. I wish I could describe my experience, but there are no words for the dishonestly, incompetence, run-around, LYING, lack of responsibility, unprofessional, and just plain unethical, horrific conduct this company has shown me in spades and spades and spades. I purchased a very expensive LG Space Saver, side-by-side refrigerator/freezer about 16 months ago. Surprise - surprise, the compressor went out. The labor was not under warranty, but the part apparently was. Well, that would require even a semblance of customer service or honestly or even a mild attempt to care about a customer or fix a product. What I got was a vague reference to maybe having someone CALL ME in 2-3 weeks to MAYBE get out there and maybe fix the compressor. First, I was put through a bunch of dumb tests and waiting -- because yeah, a refrigerator SQUEALING, thawing out, and dripping ice down the door could be caused by leaving the door open for 5 minutes. NOT. And I didnt. Still, it took me a while -- playing LGs games -- to realize that nobody has any responsibility or integrity. That they lie as quickly and effortlessly as some folks breathe, and that every single person you talk to will give you a different answer or solution -- absolute no one will mean what they say or follow through. And they could care less how much of your time, effort, or money they cost you (I lost $800 worth of food; spent over 7 hours on the phone, talking to over 12 different people, many not even in the USA, being promised things that never happened -- only to be shuffled to someone else; being referred to their own repair companies THAT DID NOT EXIST! (Literally, I called all three of the companies myself because I couldnt wait 2-3 weeks for maybe. One, the guy was out for the next month or so because of surgery -- yeah, glad I didnt wait 2-3 weeks on him; one, they said they stopped working with LG years ago and wished theyd quit telling people otherwise; and the last one - phone disconnected). Yet, I could not get anyone at LG to understand why I wasnt willing to wait 2-3 weeks for someone at one of these 3 companies to call me!!!In the send you to ten different people, all of who will lie to you game (oh, and prepare to sit on hold for 30 minutes or more at a time, just to be rerouted to someone and start all over... again... and again...), I was told they had a repairman in the area and were sending him to my house now. Please hold. Please hold. Please hold. only to waste another hour and be told I needed to wait on one of the three companies. This went on for 3-4 days!!! Meanwhile, I tried to call an independent repairman -- my family actually needs to eat -- and what I heard from professional after professional after professional was a NIGHTMARE. No one would work with LG. LG does not pay their claims. LG compressors break all the time. Dealing with LG is a virtual nightmare. Etc! I finally found a company with a certified LG repairman (He used to WORK FOR LG) who said he would work on the warrantied part and seek payment for it from LG. (LG had already given me a useless approval # which I could use with one of those three companies. Are we really back to calling the unicorns and Santa Claus again -- newsflash, idiots! They dont exist!) Anyhow, after another day of dealing with a bunch of representatives not in the USA, I got a hold of someone who walked me through a ton of steps in order to send a pre-approved service authorization to the company I FOUND -- it would be in the companys email box in 24-48 hours. Guess what? Surprise - surprise. There was no email authorization; they never sent anything; they never called me back; and I guess they just lied at the time.So I finally paid to have the private company come out and check the refrigerator -- bad compressor. Of course, read the reviews -- everyone is saying this, so LG must know it! Well the company tried to get a hold of LG to schedule a date to fix the compressor -- they had my approval # and told LG I had been given authorization to use them and the authorization was supposed to be in their email box a week ago (oh, and they made me call the company and get a bunch of information, including this email address for this authorization email that never existed. Maybe they do this ** for fun??? Anyhow, the company Id hired could never get hold of anyone at LG -- no surprise there -- so finally went through their world-class (world being literal - class being a JOKE) customer service, only to be told that there would be no authorization because *I* the customer had an appointment scheduled for next week with one of those three original companies. ARE - YOU - KIDDING - ME!?! No one ever called me or scheduled any appointment, and as we all know -- those 3 companies were bogus to begin with. What the ** kind of operation is LG running. This is beyond PATHETIC. Its fraudulent. Moronic. Inexcusable. Sad thing is: I WILL NEVER EVER BUY ANY LG PRODUCT AGAIN, no matter how large or small, and Ive already told everyone I know to AVOID THE REFRIGERATORS LIKE THE PLAGUE. Good going, LG.RUN - DONT WALK - AWAY FROM ANY LG REFRIGERATOR/FREEZER. Or at least call half a dozen appliance repair companies and ask what they have to say about this product -- youll get a surprising earful. LG has no customer service, and they couldnt give two ** if their customers ever get anything fixed, let alone in a timely fashion. If you have 20 - 30 - 40 hours to be given the runaround, to sit on hold, to be lied to and shuffled, to speak to folks all over the world who will each tell you a new and ever-more inventive lie, then by all means, buy this refrigerator. But if you think any part of it will ever break, then youre on your own. LG should be ASHAMED. And I hope theres a class-action lawsuit at some point because they need to be exposed.

I purchased my LG side-by-side refrigerator from Best Buy in October 2016. Initially I was very pleased with the unit, no problems until late June 2018. The temperature dropped significantly and the freezer no longer kept food frozen. I was informed after placing a service call that the compressor ceased to work and other updates were needed to the refrigerator. One year later in July 2019 the freezer and refrigerator are again working insufficiently. I have lost a ridiculous amount of food in both the freezer and refrigerator. I am again using a cooler, buying ice frequently. I contacted the LG customer service department this past Sunday July 21, 2019 to inform staff of a malfunctioning refrigerator and to complain that this was the second incident in three years. I was given an appointment for July 25, 2019. My husband took the day off of work in order to receive the repairman. After no one showed, my husband contacted LG customer service department and was informed that the appointment had been canceled. We did not cancel the appointment. LG customer service informed us after some time that A& E Factory Service, their contractor, canceled the appointment and did not inform LG nor did they inform us of the cancellation. Eventually my husband was given an appointment for August 5th 2019, two-weeks from the originally scheduled appointment. He explained the challenges in retaining food, money lost, and that we have a five year old daughter who had clumpy milk that had to be discarded... the next available appointment was moved to August 1, 2019. I phoned yesterday, July 25, 2019 explained the above and inquired about the earliest available appointment. After being on the phone for twenty minutes I was informed that the earliest possible appointment is still August 1, 2019 however it is not confirmed, therefore I do not have a concrete appointment as of yet. I was told that someone will call us to confirm the actual August 1, 2019 appointment next week. I am very disappointed. I am very dissatisfied. I will not purchase another LG refrigerator again.Jacqueline **

I like LG's consumer reviews and the looks of their products, particularly the dual ice makers and the nice LED lighting. However, the compressor went out in the first three years. That was why I had the compressor redone. I had to get the purchase agreement from the place that I bought it from, sent it over, and they came out and took care of it. The experience was amazing. Now, my ref is great.

I order a part (freezer fan) for my refrigerator (7 years old) on 10-21-16 and is in manufacturer backorder until according to LG, 12-31-16. After several calls to LG customer service (first call answered from Philippines) without answers. Today I call LG parts. They transfer me to east coast parts authorized store (NOT LG) and they gave me the 12-31-16 date. When I ask why take too long she said because the refrigerator is old and they do not stock parts from discontinued models. Sears sold 750 of this failing fans. That means they have a quality problem with the product and should have stock to resolve the inconvenience. Recommendation STAY AWAY FROM LG PRODUCTS.

LG front load washer letters falling off. I contacted LG regarding letters coming off the panel from soap. They said I need to buy a new console. I went to Home Depot where we bought it with an extended plan. They were no help. I called the plan contact. They said that it was not mechanical issue and is not covered. Thought we were buying the best, we could buy instead the letters wash off a washing machine. I forgot to mention mold, does not clean, spots. Do not buy LG.

This washing machine is now 3 years old. From the beginning my wife complained that it does not get the clothes as clean as our old machine, with agitator, did. Every time you wash a small load sooner or later the machine stops, often two or three times, because the load has become unbalanced. If you do not use extra rinse the clothes come out smelling soapy. This is the worst washing machine I have ever owned and I am pushing 70.

We purchased this LG TOP OF THE LINE 700.00 DISHWASHER IN 2015. I HAVE HAD NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS SINCE. When we purchased it. It was for a brand new home. We had to have a plumber come in and replace some of the pipes and lines to be able to accommodate this dishwasher. The dishwasher never gets the dishes clean EVER! Im constantly having to clean the dishwasher so the dishes get clean. I almost have to clean the dishes before they are stacked. The top sprayer arm keeps falling off during its normal cycle. The baskets never stay connected to each other. Not sure why... We decided to buy a really expensive nice dishwasher and it has been terrible. Then we had to remove the bottom piece in the dishwasher that siphons any debris out before it goes into the drain. The recommended tablets for the dishwasher get stuck in the cup and ends up having to be cleaned out of the cup and I have to re run the whole cycle again. And to top it off now the motor is dead and has to be replaced. Oh the wheels on the bottom of the rack keep falling off. Technician will be here next week when they can fit us in 100.00 just for the service call. I will never buy an LG ever again.

As per other reviewers, this Dishwasher does not clean dishes even after running through a two-hour cycle. Have had a repair person out to inspect and cannot find the problem - just doesnt do the job. He commented that he has numerous other complaints that this product does not clean dishes. Neighbors also have the same product and are not satisfied with its performance. Come on LG - own up and do something to rectify a) the problem with the cleaning cycle and b) the length of time to clean, and c) how do we fix the problem without it costing MORE!
