The outside of the refrigerator from first appearance looked nice, but the inside is where you could really see the lack of quality. The ice maker construction could cause plastic to fall into your drinks even after successfully completing their start up process. I would definitely not recommend this brand.

I had cracked the glass top on my previous LG range as a glass bottle fell out of the cabinet over the range. We went shopping for a similar range and I thought the model I was purchasing was self clean. We were in a family crisis at the time so I didnt do my normal research. I know the sales associate realized I wanted self clean so I really didnt pay enough attention. It was a while before we really used the range as we were out of town with the family situation. I have watched the videos regarding easy clean and LG claims small spots, light soil are easily cleaned after the easy clean cycle. I have run the easy clean three times today to clean light soil and it doesnt clean up with plenty of elbow grease. Ugh. I should also mention my husband has had to take the glass out of the door twice to clean soil or grease. We are retired so its not that we are always cooking.

I purchased my LG side-by-side refrigerator from Best Buy in October 2016. Initially I was very pleased with the unit, no problems until late June 2018. The temperature dropped significantly and the freezer no longer kept food frozen. I was informed after placing a service call that the compressor ceased to work and other updates were needed to the refrigerator. One year later in July 2019 the freezer and refrigerator are again working insufficiently. I have lost a ridiculous amount of food in both the freezer and refrigerator. I am again using a cooler, buying ice frequently. I contacted the LG customer service department this past Sunday July 21, 2019 to inform staff of a malfunctioning refrigerator and to complain that this was the second incident in three years. I was given an appointment for July 25, 2019. My husband took the day off of work in order to receive the repairman. After no one showed, my husband contacted LG customer service department and was informed that the appointment had been canceled. We did not cancel the appointment. LG customer service informed us after some time that A& E Factory Service, their contractor, canceled the appointment and did not inform LG nor did they inform us of the cancellation. Eventually my husband was given an appointment for August 5th 2019, two-weeks from the originally scheduled appointment. He explained the challenges in retaining food, money lost, and that we have a five year old daughter who had clumpy milk that had to be discarded... the next available appointment was moved to August 1, 2019. I phoned yesterday, July 25, 2019 explained the above and inquired about the earliest available appointment. After being on the phone for twenty minutes I was informed that the earliest possible appointment is still August 1, 2019 however it is not confirmed, therefore I do not have a concrete appointment as of yet. I was told that someone will call us to confirm the actual August 1, 2019 appointment next week. I am very disappointed. I am very dissatisfied. I will not purchase another LG refrigerator again.Jacqueline **

Ive not had the problems with mold that others have experienced and the clothes are clean like they are suppose to be after washing. The problem is after paying a minimum of $1000.00 on this washer I expect it to last. I wash 3 loads a week and after 5 years the washer is extremely loud that it sounds like a plane is about to take off or land in my laundry room. The repair guy says the bearings need to be replaced and with all the parts and labor it is not worth it!

The LG Warranty Dept is pathetic to put it bluntly. We purchased the extended warranty from Lowes Canada on a 3 Appliance Extended Warranty Package. But trying to get warranty service on an LG LFX25778ST French Door Fridge has been ridiculous. Of course, the call center is in the Philippines and they read off of a script. They said there are 2 service providers in my area. I spoke to the first company and they would decline compressor calls from LG? The second company said they are not accepting calls from LG because of past issues??? The CSR in the Philippines had no solution as it was not on his script. What a joke!!! So now Im left scrambling trying to get a repair of the fridge.LG you should be ashamed of yourselves and I warn everyone out there to look at other manufacturers. As well, Im not done with LG and Lowes as of yet. One of these two companies will be reimbursing me for this sham/scam and paying me back for all monies owed. Be it product, the so-called extended warranty charge and all legal fees. I hope everyone reading this heeds the warning. Thanks.

We purchased our fridge in Nov 2018. In March 2020 the freezer stopped freezing and the fridge stopped cooling. We have had 3 tech come in March to service our fridge on 3 separate occasions in order to evaluate our fridge. Each one said that our fridge just needed a software update. We have asked about getting our compressor replaced or them just replacing our unit and each time they refused because the techs state that the problem is the software. Its now June and our fridge just stopped working again today. Ive been on the phone for over an hour to speak with a manager. Im so frustrated with the amount of time and money that we have wasted with this product and company. All I want now is my money back for the product but they are telling me the same tech has to come out and do an evaluation of our fridge again! Never ever purchase an LG refrigerator. They company will do nothing to fix or even attempt to rectify an issue with their products.

Mine quit within 18 months of purchase, I had a local repairman who replaced compressor and still does not work. I WONT BUY A LG ELECTRIC RANGE AGAIN. The LG Range Oven model # LRE383ST01 we purchased in 2015 has been nothing but trouble. In the first year the burner and main board went out. Luckily we were still under the warranty so LG sent their technician to replace them. A few weeks after the warranty expired, the glass top made a pop noise and cracked like a spider web on the lower right burner and spread. We called LG, explained the situation and told them this seems a factory part defect. They politely blamed us of dropping something on the glass which was 100% false and they used we are sorry to gently fade their fault with this. We let it go - not to waste our time. Price of a new glass top is near $400. Couple month after the new range top was installed the new glass top cracked again. It couldnt happen at a better time but Christmas Eve 2016, with having family over, around 4 pm while food cooking, the glass top made a loud pop noise and broke again on the lower right burner. Here was my experience with LG Range and dealing with the company who took the easy road to blame the customer for their defective part. Now I have an expensive LG range-oven with another broken glass top. My recommendation: Stay away from LG Range with glass top.

After only a year and two months after purchase, our LG dishwasher (LDS4821ST) is obviously having a drain pump issue, and thankfully we purchased the service plan at Home Depot. This washer sucks. It has become noisy, the panel freaks out and sometimes you cannot choose certain wash cycles, and now this drain pump issue. Its a huge piece of **. Follow my advice, since I know people with more expensive washers - get something like a Bosch or, if you really have the cash, a Miele. If you purchase an LG, you will regret it. Oh, and we also have an LG refrigerator, which also sucks. Although there are no real problems yet, it cools unevenly, and even when the unit is set at 36, some zones read 42-44 degrees (I have a digital chefs thermometer), which is in the danger zone for food (40/140 rule).

Purchased a WT5001CW top loading washer Nov 2011. Oct 2012 it failed. The machine shut off with the lid locked and a full load of laundry stuck inside. Took nearly 2 weeks to get a repair technician to look at the machine and another 10 days to get the replacement part. Spent a small fortune and a load of my time at the Laundromat. The circuit board failed, was replaced under warranty. March 2014 the same thing. Wont turn on, makes the on chimes but nothing lights up, the lid is locked with my wet laundry stuck inside. All my wifes nursing uniforms were in the machine, out of desperation was forced to pry the lid open to retrieve our laundry. Out of warranty and disgusted. This was an expensive machine, but I refuse to keep repairing/replacing a circuit board that apparently is flawed in design or has another issue that is causing the board to fail. WILL NOT PURCHASE ANOTHER LG PRODUCT.

I bought this LG 5-Burner Gas Stove about 4 years ago. The actual stove works great! But, unfortunately, LG really messed up when they designed the plastic knobs. Not only are they cheap and the inside of the knob breaks, they are very dangerous. If you keep the bottom stove open while you are cooking the plastic knobs melt. Whats even worse, is the knobs cost a minimum of $25 each to replace and the knobs havent even been upgraded to metal. I have other LG products and like them but, if they dont change the knobs, I will never buy an LG stove again.

Bought the washer all expecting a long lasting machine - 3 years into the proud ownership - the rear tub bearings went bad, I called over 25 people who work on washers. Found 4 that worked on LG, the bearing in the rear of the tub is worn out - don’t sound too bad, can’t get the parts - can’t get the tub rear assy either. So here I sit with a washer ornament in my basement out $2200 in the washer with the stands and no parts are available! This is a ripoff! The company should be made to repair these washers for this money. This is serious funds out. Not to mention the repair to this is $390 for the rear tub assy and the labor of $400. Almost $900 in this washer!

A stove in one of our cabins had to be replaced so I put my Whirlpool glass top in the cabin and purchased a new LG Range and Microwave for my house. 3 yrs + 1 month later my glass top broke; not covered by warranty of course. So after being shipped 2 damaged tops, a new one was installed for a mere $391.55. Had been cooking on Whirlpool glasstop for years so didnt realize you had to treat an LG with kid gloves. Less than 1 year later (now), and theres nothing in hell I could have done to cause this, the electronic start button wont work - just the start button - every other one works. We all now know only certain companies can work on LGs right. So serviceman came out, assessed the situation and it was exactly how I described it to them on the phone, had to order a new panel and will come back in 2 weeks to install. Panel arrived today in an extremely large box (box couldve held 24) - no padding, just a little paper and sliding around in the box. I have no idea if its still in working order or ruined by being slammed around. The exact model number of my range is listed under a recall notice. I sent them information and was told it was NOT one of those recalled even though the numbers matched. I will NEVER purchase another LG product. What bothers me is we have at least 10 LG TVs on the property so now I can wonder what will be happening to them. I truly believe LG started out with quality products; then when sales started to boom they decided to cheapen and thought the stupid consumers wouldnt catch on...JMO.

UE codes frequently have to balance the load again and again. You should do your job and force them to offer a software upgrade online. The machine have the modem cell phone link and customers could upgrade this dumb wasteful software without some LG moron coming out to tell lies and you what you already know. Force them to open the source code and let someone savvy fix the software - other than LG. They should be fined for the water wasting in a drought. We bought our LG fridge (model # LBC22520SW /03) new back in 2011 (it was on back-order at the time, because apparently many others were duped into purchasing this piece of junk). It is now one year old. I never knew an appliance could simultaneously be so cheap and yet so expensive. The first time I had to call the repairman was three months after the purchase (he didnt even call me back until two days later; by that time, I had fixed the stupid thing myself). The problem, ironically, is that the freezer fan cannot operate under cold conditions. We cant use our ice maker or it will make the fan freeze over, which in turn makes the freezer and fridge stop working. But it doesnt stop there! If we fill our freezer 1/4 full with food, it makes the freezer too cold and the fan will freeze over, and again the fridge stops working. But wait, theres more ... Weve now lowered the freezer temperature to its lowest setting, but apparently thats still too cold for this cheap fan to handle. Thawing the fan with boiling water has now become an activity that we must do twice daily. Weve lost hundreds of dollars worth of food, not to mention the overpriced cost of the fridge to begin with. Do yourself a favor and dont buy an LG fridge!

This WT5075CW washer is completely useless. I am going to have to replace it, and I have only had it a little over a year, but I cant take it anymore. It gets unbalanced on the spin cycle for no apparent reason. I only was like weight and size clothes together. I rearrange the clothes when it gets unbalanced and then restart. It starts filling with water again and stops unbalanced again. I try the Spin Only cycle. Same thing. I was the same loads every week and it is completely random as to which load will have this problem. Last week, it was the delicates – how can they cause an unbalance???!!! I am left with an entire load of sopping wet clothes that I have to drain over the top of the washer, hang out on the patio until the dripping stops and then dry in the dryer for over an hour. While recently reading a Consumer Reports article about recommended refrige
While recently reading a Consumer Reports article about recommended refrigerators, I noticed that LG got very high ratings. Given my experiences with an LG refrigerator, I was shocked. Six years ago, we were so pleased with our LG top-loading washer/dryer so decided to look at their refrigerators. I saw the one I wanted right away -- stainless, French door refrigerator with a huge amount of room inside and outer door ice and water dispenser. Loved the interior lighting, too. After looking at this one, I knew nothing else would make me happy so we plunked down $2500 for it, on sale no less! It ran fine the first year and I was the envy of anyone who came to our house and admired it.Skip to year 2 -- New Years Eve and we kept hearing this loud noise whenever the fan came on. An LG certified repair technician checked it a few days later and said it was a known design flaw; ice would build up around the fan and when the fan turned on, it would hit that ice. She was able to repair it and things were great again -- until the water/ice dispenser stopped working later that year. It had to be replaced but luckily, we had bought an extended warranty so we didnt have to pay for it. Shortly after that, one of the glides on a freezer drawer wasnt working correctly and it had to be replaced. This past December, the ice tray kept overfilling with water so when it froze, the tray couldnt empty; we kept hearing a loud clacking noise. I had to get out my blow dryer to thaw the ice enough that the tray could turn over and dump it. Of course, since the refrigerator is 6 years old, our extended warranty was up so it was on us to get it fixed. Luckily, my husband is a former Industrial Arts teacher and avid YouTube viewer, so he ordered a new ice maker and fixed it himself. It worked fine after that.2 months ago when I opened the refrigerator one night, I noticed quite a bit of water on the top of the freezer door. I thought maybe I had spilled water, though I couldnt imagine how I might have spilled that much, and after cleaning it up, I opened the freezer drawer. Soft ice cream, thawing meat, melting ice cubes did not bode well. Strangely, the freezer indicator on the outside of the refrigerator registered 0 degrees. I checked the refrigerator and the inside felt warmer than usual. When I stuck a thermometer inside, it registered 50 degrees. Thinking maybe the coils needed cleaning, we did that and moved all of the food to our 25 year old garage refrigerator and to our basement freezer. The next morning when we checked the temperature in the refrigerator, it was almost 70 degrees so time to call an LG certified technician. (Not easy to find, by the way) The first one who came to our house and checked our refrigerator announced that it needed a new condenser and two evaporators. He was qualified to fix them, but his company would no longer allow their technicians to work on the LG evaporators/condensers because theres a special valve inside that, if damaged during a repair, cant be fixed -- the whole refrigerator would be dead. His company didnt want to assume that responsibility, and I cant really blame them. The second LG certified tech said that even though the parts are still covered by the LG warranty, it would cost us about $700 plus a $100 service charge to fix it. Thats almost a third of what we paid for the refrigerator and would cover the cost of a new no-frills top freezer refrigerator! Oh, and only a 60 day guarantee. We said no thank you, so as we speak, theres what my husband likes to call a $2500 paperweight sitting in our kitchen. I sent an email to LG and the answer I got back sounded as if the girl who replied hadnt even read my email, or at least didnt understand it. Her suggestion was to contact an LG certified technician to fix it. (I guess she missed the part of my email where I said that we consulted TWO LG certified technicians!) Disgusted with that response, I sent a letter to both the President of LG and the Consumer Relations person to express my dissatisfaction with my refrigerator. Have I heard back? No. Will I hear back? Probably not. Given the number of complaints Ive seen over time, it appears that LG service leaves a lot to be desired. I think its a sad commentary when a $2500 less than 7 years old dies, while a 25+ Kenmore out in the garage is still working just fine.According to one of our repairmen and from what Ive read, the problem is that appliance companies today are manufacturing appliances to last only 5-10 years, and refrigerators are nearer the bottom of that estimate. Gone are the days of appliances that lasted 25 years or more (I had a Maytag washer/dryer set that lasted almost 30 years!) Most refrigerators, too, have only a one year warranty, so purchasing a longer warranty is pretty much a necessity. Searching for a new one over the past several weeks has been a real challenge, and so far, nothing has grabbed my attention like my LG did six years ago... maybe because Im going back to simple, top freezer fridge without an ice maker so well hopefully avoid a lot of repairs. Bottom line: If youre looking for a new refrigerator, please do your homework, and stay away from companies with poor service record reviews after the sale. Also, make sure you buy an extended warranty because chances are, youll eventually need it.

This machine has cost me hundreds of hours babysitting it. It will not finish a load on time nor does it ever complete a spin cycle without reloading it or taking items out, and trying over and over to balance it... I must say I HATE this machine and would strongly advise no one to purchase it. It is a waste of money and time. My energy bill has increased since this machine has come into my home, along with my water usage... Never again will I buy a LG.

I received my LG front loader washer and dryer 5 years ago from my son as a Christmas Gift. The machine works well. I have had 2 problems, the biggest problem is the foul smell and the black mold. I have tried everything to no avail. Everything that I research, Ive tried. I need to try the installation of another gasket to see if that helps. And also recently I have had problems with the door where the soap/bleach/softener goes.I am having problems opening the door because of the section that holds the softener is lifting and not allowing the door to open and I needed to call for service. Seems like what they did was just to put a bandaid on the problem because tonight I could do my laundry because I was unable to open that door to install my detergent and softener. What is the solution to my PROBLEM. Thank You for your help. My set came from BEST BUY. WM2277H.

I am quite disappointed that my french door fridge stopped working with having it less than 4 years. The repairman knew exactly what the problem was when he saw the make/model. He said he has repaired oodles of them. Even though the parts are covered for 10 years the cost for labor is $550. I read online that there was a class action suit but the one I was looking at was dropped. If anyone else knows of a current one I could join please let me know. I dont know that I would feel comfortable every purchasing another LG product.

I love the side by side with the see thru door for drinks. Just knock 2xs on the window and it lights up so you can see in the door before opening to get a drink. It has sensors so if you dont close the doors completely they go off. Ice maker inside freezer, didnt want water on the door, last one leaked and never could fix it. Once and roomy and nice shelves and easy to clean, plenty of freezer space. Nice veg bins and meat bin. Stainless, love it.

I purchased a brand new 36 door in door refrigerator. It died after just 28 months. It was out of warranty but LG offered me a out of warranty deal. I paid $320 to have the problem repaired no matter how big or small it was. After 4 weeks of waiting, countless phone calls and emails, I found out that LG do NOT have one single company who will repair their appliances be it under warranty or not! The products look nice but they are all JUNK! Absolutely no service, warranty or satisfaction whatsoever. At the same time I purchased the refrigerator, I also bought a over the range microwave, dutch oven and dishwasher. I got less than 2 months out of the dishwasher before the black stainless steel started to peel!!! LG should not be allowed to operate! This business is horrible!

Updated on 05/19/2019: April 29 was my first review. TOMORROW will DAY 35 without our LG refrigerator. No tech licensed at first with dealing with LG then they offered an in store credit but sent file to Assurance and they sent a tech. Had to wait on parts. LG would not RUSH them. Finally parts in. Had to make appt. Replacing compressor, main PC and therm. $1,100.00. I paid $1,500.00 for fridge. Thursday after approximately 4 hours with service repairman it is finally fixed. Today the fridge is WARM Inside. ITS BROKEN ALREADY. ALL I WANTED WAS A NEW FRIDGE. ITS DAY 35 TOMORROW!!!! PEOPLE should get to see all of the review replies I have done with LG. Not just the first one. I have 8 pages of notes of phone calls on this fridge. How many weeks is a acceptable to wait. I just wanted an in store credit....Updated on 05/02/2019: April 30 posted complaint with lack of service on my refrigerator. April 30 LG quickly responded asking for my telephone number. May 1 I responded. THEN nobody phones. This is now day 18 and no fridge. Please give me an in store credit and perhaps a FREE 4 year extended warranty to make things right. I offered a repairman’s name to you but no you didnt have a contract with him. Yet you did not have any licensed tech for a compressor.Original Review: We are now at day 14 without a fridge. LG doesnt care. Days went by before they said they didnt have e a licensed tech for compressor. More days went by before given an approval number for in store credit then, I was told Assurance Solution Insurance co would take file now. They then decide there is a repair man to diagnose it. Fridge stinks and still waiting to hear what is to be done. Totally UNACCEPTABLE. Should have been looked after within 2 to 3 days. Its a fridge not a microwave.

To whom it may concern, I am very disappoint of your service for my refrigerator. My refrigerator is not cooling since 05/20/2019. The technician came out 5 times and fixed for 3 times. The last fixing was last for a week and it was not cooling on July 4 of 2019. I had 18 people in my home on that day and we had to trash a lot of food. There is another technician comes out tomorrow to take a look at my refrigerator, I have 2 young children who need food and milk. This is very frustrated for them because they keep asking when my refrigerator is fixed so they can have some food as before. When I talked to customer service she said that 3 times are the last chance if it does not work, they will replace or refund me money so I can have a new refrigerator. This is not true because LG still wants to come out and look at it again. The schedule is really taking so long (7 days or 10 days ahead). Another customer service told me that the policy is fixing from 1-2 weeks. However, it is almost 2 months for this. Therefore, this is also a problem and I dont know what is your policy. You can just keep doing this and do not care about the customer as for how long this has been going on. I can tell you that we will not buy any LG product in the future because of your service likes this. I have told my co-works, friends and my relatives regarding of your service.

I will never buy LG or believe what I read in consumer reports. It was the top recommend. After reading the reviews, I see its not just me. I caution all consumers about buying LG products. Life is NOT Good when you buy their products. I purchased an electric LG range, model #LDE3017SW February 2013 from Home Depot for $1,649.00. Little did I know at the time that this would be the worst purchase of my life. I say this without a smidgen of exaggeration.I do not bake a lot so my oven stayed fairly clean. With Thanksgiving approaching, I thought I would use the self-clean feature for the first time. About two hours into the cycle, the oven stopped working completely. The digital display was completely dark and the oven doors locked and would not open even though the oven is completely cool and inoperable.I called LG and their phone representative told me that I was not alone, that this has been a problem with this particular oven and that the thermostat needed replacement. First, my warranty had expired and needed to be extended. I was asked to scan my receipt with the serial and model numbers. I did this the next day.Hearing nothing back from LG regarding the status of the warranty extension, I called them back. Initially the LG phone representative told me that they had not received my scanned receipts but then, after putting me on hold, he found them. He said that his supervisor had not made a decision about whether or not my warranty would be extended. I ask him how I would be contacted when such a decision was made and he told me that I needed to keep calling LG back. After one week of calling LG back I was informed that my warranty would indeed be extended. I was told that I should call the repair company that LG contracts within my area, Heavenly Cool, to have the replacement part installed. I asked the LG phone representative if the repair person would have the correct part and be able to fix the oven when they came to my house. He assured me that they would, that this repair with this particular oven occurred frequently and that it was just a routine repair.I called Heavenly Cool the next day and spent about an hour on the phone trying to set up a repair appointment. I gave them my model and serial number and was told that the repair person would have the part in-hand and be able to fix my oven. I took time off work so I could be home for the repair. While waiting at home for the repair, the repair person called me and asked for my model and serial number. He said no one had given it to him ahead of time and he would have to check and see if he had the proper part with him and call me back. I was stunned. I waited for his call. He called back and said that he could NOT come to my house that day because he did not have the part to fix my oven.I went from patient to stunned to righteously angry. I called Heavenly Cool and they did not know what the glitch was with communication but they would be glad to reschedule when the part came in! How much time can I take off work???? I felt that I was lied to. I called LG and explained my situation and they said that they would have to call Heavenly Cool to verify. I was put on hold. The LG phone representative resumed the call with me and said that, indeed, I had communicated the current situation accurately and that I just had to wait until the part came in for the repair. I said that taking more time off work was not an option at this point and he said that if this repair person had 2 or 3 other repair jobs in my area that they would come at a time convenient to me. Wow! So if the sun, moon, and stars all aligned properly I could have the repair done sometime after work?I asked to speak with a LG supervisor and was given Eric. I re-explained the whole situation and he apologized for my inconvenience. I asked Eric how he could help me and he said that I would just have to wait for the part to come in and for the attempted repair to occur. If the part did not fix the oven, then I might have to wait even longer for repair. At this point, 12 days had gone by since my oven became inoperable. Taking off work and eating out is becoming very expensive! I will be having 30 people at my house for Thanksgiving! I had done nothing wrong but use the self-cleaning oven feature that LG uses as a selling point for this product and now I was without a working oven. I asked Eric if LG would replace my oven under these circumstances and he, of course, said no and there was nothing else he could do from his end. All Eric could do was apologize for my inconvenience. Since Eric did not have the power to make this right, I asked to speak to Erics supervisor. Eric told me that there was no one with higher authority at LG than him. Wow! Eric apologized again for my inconvenience.I found this website and I see that I am not alone in my frustration but I am very alarmed that LG ranges sometimes catch on fire! I did notice that the bottom of my double oven seemed to get too hot and did not evenly cook food. Because there is a safety issue with LG products, I do not even want to use their products. I will never purchase anything from LG again! I will tell everyone I know not to purchase their products. If LG wants to stay in business, they should make things right for their customers! It is now almost two weeks since my oven broke and LG has done nothing effectively to correct the problem. I have, unfortunately, learned a very expensive lesson. The only good that can come of this is to warn other potential, unsuspecting victim consumers about the potential perils of purchasing LG products.

Purchased model LFXC24726S/00 November 2014. Had to be serviced January 2015 due to excessive ice buildup in freezer. Time frame was 5 wks d/t, part not in stock, reorder wait & install. 8/1/18 fridge dead. Told 8/14 would be soonest tech would be available to come out, diagnose, possible order part if not available then repair...2+ weeks with no working fridge. Told I could rent one in the meantime and be reimbursed at 25% of the cost of my fridge. Seriously?!! Lost food, utilize insulin (requires refrigeration), had to purchase a new fridge ASAP.I don’t about anyone else but I don’t have $2200-$3000 lying around for new fridges every 4yrs. Totally unacceptable! I will NEVER purchase another LG product again as they are not supported by the company once you get them in your home. It was suggested that I have it moved into the garage after I get the new one & allow them to repair it. Why the hell would I do that? I don’t need 2 fridges, I just need 1 that is reliable & works!

We bought ALL LG appliances 3 yrs. ago, including their French door-in-door refrigerator. We’ve been without that fridge for THREE WEEKS now!! LG’s customer svc. is shameful. They think 3 wks isn’t unreasonable to live without a fridge. It took 2 wks & dozens of phone calls, hanging on hold for over 10 mins. to even get an LG certified tech assigned to our case. Took another week for THEIR certified tech to receive the new compressor from LG parts. (LG refuses to expedite shipping even when we offered to pay for it). He came, installed the new one & it’s STILL doesn’t work!!!!Admittedly, we were enamored by their products. We drank the “Life’s Good” Koolaid. The only element that differentiates one manufacturer, from another is their customer service when things go wrong. It’s easy to spew “Life’s good” mantra when people are spending millions on your products. It’s what a company does to help its brand loyal customers WHEN THINGS GO WRONG - that is the true measure of their worth. I was an LG brand loyal consumer. I’m over that now & hope to warn others so this nightmare doesn’t happen to them. My neighbor had a similar compressor problem with their Samsung fridge. They received a full refund for what they paid for it, in TWO DAYS!One of my husband’s cancer meds requires refrigeration. Even knowing that, LG customer service reps give the same rehearsed canned response; “we’re sorry for your inconvenience”. 1) They’re NOT “sorry” & 2) Being without a fridge for the whole month of August is considered well beyond “inconvenience”!!! They’re doing NOTHING except continuing to try to get it repaired at a snail’s pace. There’s NO possibility of getting anything done quick with them. I offered to give them MY FedEx acct. # to overnight another compressor. No, they can’t even do that. If I could afford to put this piece of garbage on the curb for trash pick-up, I would. But we bought all new appliances knowing we were going to be retiring & these were supposed to last us as we prepared to live on our fixed incomes. I would go buy a similar fridge by another brand manufacturer if I could, but we’re not drawing the salaries we once did. LG expects us to wait ANOTHER 3 wks or longer to see if their tech can replace the compressor, again. When asked if they could overnight it - no, that’s not their policy. They are a disgrace!!!

Could not get thru cycle without repeated UE error codes, drum not spinning & water leaking all over. 2015 tech replaced board control and other parts. Now I have the exact problem as before. Machine is JUNK. This weekend had to purchase a new washer because warranties much less good customer service or products to say the very least do not mean anything to LG. Out of curiosity checked reviews for LG front load washer & what do you know... Hundreds of other innocent consumers has had to put up with the same abuse from your LG company. We need to all band together and fight the unjustified ethics of LG. Ive contacted an attorney; well see what happens. P.S... and YES the clothes & washer do stink just like LG company. My LG refrigerator was 16 months old when the compressor went the evening before Thanksgiving, 2019. (This was a known common problem and the compressor was known by LG to be defective.) Even with that, 2 months for them to finally approve a refund. I can honestly tell you that LG has absolutely no concern whatsoever for the hardship or inconvenience that they actually cause and prolong for their paying customers. It was an absolute nightmare getting them to send a service company out in a timely manner. And while they knew that the compressor in this particular model was faulty, they would not under any conditions replace or refund for the refrigerator without having 2-3 separate repair companies attempt to fix the appliance. Four separate times I had to wait 1-2 weeks for a possible repair or replacement of the compressor which was never successful. I had to submit a request for refund twice. It was finally approved by LG on the 2nd attempt, but it still took another 3 weeks for them to process and send an approval to Costco for reimbursement. During this whole 2 month process, I spoke to LG supervisors approximately 9 or 10 separate times only to be told something different almost every single time. I was lied to, hung up on, promised multiple times that a manager would call me (but never once did anyone ever call), I was given mis-information or different mis-information all most every time I spoke with someone. They was very condescending, rude, dismissive, argumentative and could not have cared less that my family had to go without a refrigerator all through the holidays and even the start of the new year. They never once apologized or attempted to fast track anything about the process or help me get it resolved in a timely manner. I found the whole experience completely despicable. I even emailed the CEO and VP of customer service with no response or help whatsoever. By far, this is the worst service or warranty experience of my 61 years of life. Life is NOT Good with LG!!!! What a joke of a company. Save yourself by NOT buying LG products!!!!

I originally gave LG a poor product review regarding my LG fridge. The control panel, icemaker, and water dispenser stopped working. It got off to a rough start working with LG customer service. It took a couple of visits from the LG technician to figure out that the left door would have to be replaced. This was an expensive repair. I contacted LG and requested assistance with the cost of the repair. It took a while (about three weeks), but LG stepped up and bought the part and I paid the labor. My fridge is 4 years old and long out of warranty. Its not lost on me that LG didnt have to do anything. LG is the first appliance/electronics company that did anything for me out of warranty. I should also add that the LG technician was very professional and reliable. Overall, LG turn me around from frankly a pissed off customer to a loyal customer. LG will be first on my list next time Im in the market for appliances, televisions, etc. The only reason I didnt give LG a full five stars was it just took so long to get my fridge fixed and it took several phone calls to LG customer service before I found and agent who took and interest and went to bat for me. I think her name was Marsee. Im not sure about the spelling. One last thing, LG does not mark up their parts. I checked. If you have an issue with an LG product, make sure you use LG technicians. If you call and independent outfit, you can expect that they will (in some cases) mark up the parts double.

The freezer compartment of the LG fridge (model #LRFXS2503S) we purchased in April of 2021 was not working properly. It was not making ice or keeping food frozen. The company contracted to repair the fridge came, and repaired it. The next day the entire unit quit working - no fridge - no freezer. I fought with the repair company, and they came out again the next day and repaired it again. Same thing - no fridge - no freezer. Unbelievable. The repair person told me he did not think it could be repaired - this was two weeks ago. I called LG, and they want the repair person to try to repair it AGAIN. LG also told me it was not their responsibility to replace the fridge - just repair it. Unbelievable - going on three weeks with no fridge over Christmas. AVOID buying any LG fridge. Overall this is a great washing machine and works as expected. I purchased this washer 12/16. The plastic housing has developed cracks on the inside where the wash drum is, more of a structural thing and not mechanical. Contacted LG and they stated only the Direct Drive Motor was under any warranty, 10 yr warranty. I explained that if the washer housing was falling apart around the drive motor what use would the motor be. They offered a one time warranty that would have to be reviewed by their underwriters. I received a call several days later stating it would not be replaced. Just want to let others know to look for these cracks/flaws after a few years of use. Weak plastic housing and poor quality control. I will not be replacing or purchasing any LG products in the future.

Purchased model LDE3035SB on 10/27/14. On around the 23rd of Feb (2015) I decided to do the easy clean on my upper oven (this is a double oven range) since it wast that dirty to require the self clean cycle. When it finished I had to wipe the bottom out because there was still water in the bottom. I was about to put the rack back in when I noticed something that I thought was food in the back right corner. I tried to hand clean but it would not clean. I rubbed my fingers over and felt that about a half dollar size section of the enamel was gone. Called LG and they said they would send a repair person out at our expense. We had not used this oven much because we had been gone over all the holidays and could not do much cooking in Jan. because we were having it remodeled and only did toast or baked potatoes or something simple. When the repair guy came out he told me I was pushing the rack back too far and said that LG would not cover anything like this because it was considered cosmetic. We asked if it could be repaired and he said no. We contacted LG and were told they would not do anything about it but for us not to use the any of the self cleaning cycles. If this is true and the blue enamel is only cosmetic, then why cant we use the cleaning cycles. We even went to Lowes to see if they could get something done.... they were told the same thing. Funny thing I was recently told by 2 different appliance repairmen do you know what LG really means when I was asking about my range.... It stands for Lousy Goods. It is only a little over 4 months old and I wont be able to use my self clean. When it gets to filthy, we will toss it and a new rage but not a LG. $1,300 down the drain.

Beautiful. It stopped working almost up to the date of when I bought it and no more warranty on the unit but there was one on the compressor but only for replacement. This has been one of the worst experiences of my life. If I had known this would happen I would have never bought this piece of junk. Not only can you not get through to anyone to fix it. You have to pay for someone to come out and diagnose the problem that you already know what the problem is. Then you have to pay for the repairmen (who is contracted) to come out and install the compressor which according to other loyal consumers may or may not work. But only if you can find one to come AND keep his appointment. After many tries I decided to give up and get a new one. But I will never ever in my life buy another LG product. I knew their phones were crap. Because I had to have mine replaced three times. I am an iPhone user now. But do your research anyone that reads this. My unit was bought in March 2013. And it went out in April 2019. I knew I couldn’t have been the only one so I read and found that all of the people that bought theirs after mine complained. If I had read all of those complaints I wouldn’t have had to buy another refrigerator six years later. Please stay way from LG. Even when you do call for assistance the people that you speak to are rude and condescending (only if you need help. But not if they are getting something from you. Then you may be treated with respect. So STAY AWAY STAY AWAY STAY AWAY. Go to the proven manufacturer our parents used. GE WHIRLPOOL OR KENMORE OR FRIGIDAIRE. Thank you.

LRG 3081ST gas stove - My first problem was that Best Buy never warned me that to convert this stove to propane was going to cost close to $300.00. The next problem was as soon as I started to use the product, the fan in the convection oven does not work most of the time, the controls are very difficult to use and very confusing, one of the burners does not work! After contacting Best Buy they told me I had to call LG, which I did. After many tries and disconnected calls I finally reached a person and he reluctantly set up an appointment with a local repair shop, and although she agreed the fan should work better but after calling LG they said it was normal and there was nothing she could do. But they did agree it probably should have a new burner but that is still on order. The stove is basically a cheap POS. I would not recommend anyone to buy this model.

They DID something and no steam working, does not clean. Well its a mess.LG stove - o my god the knobs are plastic and bad quality. They send twice, still melts and poor quality and when you turn the knob it breaks because its plastic not metal. Now the knobs dont work, it goes all around and dont do what it suppose to do, I can go on and on. Bad quality. Beware dont buy this. I will not even recommend it to my worst enemy.Beware LG are not good products. My sister have Maytag and her products are still working and she bought for less money. We bought this product waste a lot of money. All piece of cant say the word but Im very upset. So people please dont buy this product. I purchased this dryer a year and a half ago. The problem that we have been encountering is that the clothes or bedsheets we dry always get caught in the lint trap. They will spin around each other, twist each other, stretch out and each time just makes it worse. It has ruined a lot of our clothes already since then. Worst of all, when I did my last laundry drying my bedsheets recently, I found the dryer door wide open by itself (no one touched it or opened the dryer) and all the sheets are all tangled up and twisted giving me more work to do. I was so shocked to see this. One piece of advice, never leave the dryer unattended if youre drying anything. Such a lousy product. Not worth my money. Too scared for my older children to use this when I am not around to supervise them. I am honestly not happy and dissatisfied with this product.

My dishwasher is not heavily used (6x/week) and within 18 months of owning it the stainless finish on the control panel (around the POWER) button started to wear off. I was told this was outside the warranty period and could pay to replace the door (for essentially 1/4 of the price I paid for the dishwasher). The dishwasher has been fine, not spectacular (the dishes are often still wet after drying overnight, I have tried every combination of drying cycles to improve this). Overall very disappointed in the quality of the dishwasher, wont be buying an LG product again.

We replaced older but well-functioning washer and dryer with the upright LG. We were told by the salespersons that this was the best although expensive system. The research we read also led us to believe we were making a great investment. Wrong! The smell and mold that builds up is unbearable. Our room downstairs smells moldy ever since we began using our machine. The washer shakes horribly. We also had an LG serviceman come twice. We paid for his time, travel and service to adjust the legs of the machine. It still shakes and now leaks. Of course, this all started happening once the year warranty expired. When I contacted the LG company directly about the problems, I was directed to use the LG service repair. Beyond disappointed and frustrated. We are worried about the negative impact we may experience with our health with the constant mold that continues to plague the machine. After reading all the logs, something needs to be done about this problem! LG WM2233HW.

On Sat. Oct 18, 2014, my brother went into the LG fridge to get something, when he called out to get my attention. I thought it was smoke from oven. All attempt to locate fire in the oven was lean. I opened the kitchen window to air out the smoke. A few minutes later, my son goes to the same fridge in search of something and calls out with a more assured voice, dad I think the smoke is coming from the refrigerator. Upon getting back to the fridge, I opened the fridge part. It was smoke filled. The light was out. Toward the bottom of the fridge, I discovered that the egg carton on top of the cold buckets was on fire. It was still burning. The 18 count egg carton was totally top obliterated, plus a hole ate to the bottom. Bad deal.We recorded the whole experience and took a few pictures. I called LG and spoke to a rep who seemed to be empathetic. LG decided they would have a technician contact me, but non was available for the next two weeks. The rep told us that she would call me the next day after getting to work, at about 08:30, with a possible contact. She didnt. When my wife called them, she got nothing but the run around. Two days later, I spoke with a rep who was not getting to the bottom of the issue. Then I requested to talk to a manager. The manager patched the issue over to the Executive team, who made the decision after seeing the videos and pictures, that the fire was no fault of theirs. LG never sent a technician to look at my LG refrigerator. LG said people call and complain for different reasons. Thats subject to anyones interpretation. The long and short of the story is that cold refrigerators should never burn inside. It should smother out fire, not attract it.

LG Washer Dryer Combo - WM3987H - Combo unit was purchased 2 1/5 years ago and runs on 120V outlet. The cycle for washer is approx 1 hr and for normal size load take 90 minutes to dry. I kept getting OE message. Drain was not clogged as clean frequently. Hose not bent but when checking it could smell plastic burning. Looked behind and socket was charred and plug starting to melt. Shut off breaker and unplugged. Called LG. Only warranty motor but not other parts. Given 2 options to repair relatively new unit that almost caught my home on fire and essentially will cost 400.00 to LG and was 200.00 for electric work. My prior washer dryer lasted over 12 years with NO repair. This was not my expectation from this product of LG.

LG WM3270CW. I am on my 2nd one in two weeks, March, 2018. Mine is a stackable. I am refusing a 3rd one, what a pile of crap!!! If you wash a fuzzy double blanket or anything that sucks up water it shakes like a research monkey and has a LOUD freight train noise coming out of it. You CANNOT do a full load of anything that gets heavy when wet, I bought this to replace a smaller one, and now I cant even put in a half a load. Home Depot has been very good about two returns. I will not get a 3rd one, you cannot do heavy loads in a front load. I would not recommend, I did read the reviews and all I can say is BS? Get the extended warranty because youre going to need it, FYI you need to buy a new stacking kit EVERY TIME you have this serviced and you will have to unstack yourself. The kit gets bent due to the glue when you pull them apart.

I am writing to complain about the product quality of our appliances. We have had all of our appliances for less than 2 years (refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, microwave) and in those 2 years we have had 3 significant issues. The dishwasher was repaired a few months ago because of a major mechanical problem causing the buttons to glitch. Our oven reeks like gasoline every time it is turned on (service request entered to be told it is out of warranty. Cannot be fixed without a $125 fee) And most recently - our brand new microwave just STOPPED working today out of nowhere. It won’t power on even though there is power to the outlet. I was told we had to pay for a service request with no guarantee on product replacement and out of pocket cost. We can’t do that again, and will be forced to buy a new microwave (not LG).The quality of our appliances is completely unacceptable. We bought new appliances and were excited to have them as part of our first home, and their quality and function have been extremely disappointing and unreliable. There is absolutely zero reason why an appliance that costs thousands of dollars should fail like these have. To add, the warranty is outdated and a sham. To give people a year warranty on crappy devices is unfair and not right. They break right outside of the warranty, forcing customers to spend hundreds on parts and labor to repairmen. I will never ever buy another LG product and will make sure I tell my friends and family the same.

The refrigerator was also on sale for a great price. I would recommend this product to friends and family. It had most of the features I was looking for. I have been very happy with all the features of this product and cannot think of any thing that I would change or add. LG products are very well made. I looked at several other brands and styles and choose the LG. I really liked the sleek look. The shelving layout was better than what I was looking for and the price was great. I was very happy with this product. I would say all my expectations and then some were met.

I now have lost all my food in freezer and fridge right before Christmas so it was packed and unfortunately the repair cannot be made till after Christmas and perhaps after the New Year. I am without fridge and freezer till parts come in.....When I called LG and spoke with someone about what was going on I was offered a 200 credit and I wasnt sure what that was all about but now I understand what is going on. We had to special order the size and we couldnt have made a better pick. Its sleek and has plenty of room despite being smaller than the standard fridge. I like the bottom freezer, it has a drawer so it really maximizes the space in the freezer. If I had to change anything it would be on the outside. Because it is a smooth shiny black, fingerprints show badly on it as well as any dirt or food so I constantly have to wipe it down which isnt a dealbreaker for me because Im OCD anyway.

We bought an LG front loading high efficiency washer a few years ago and it has been nothing but trouble. The maintenance required for routine use is more than one would expect for an appliance such as a washing machine. The machine routinely soils and streaks clothes and has ruined countless garments despite the suggested tub cleaning, wiping down, and costly extra tub cleaner. Additionally, the washer often leaks soapy water into the floor despite the use of HE detergent, meticulous measuring of detergent so as not to overfill. Now I must wash only small loads to keep leakage to a minimum--one of the big selling points was the ability to efficiently do large loads. Over recent days, I have had consistent leaking. I suspect we may have water damage below the floor, but no visible staining of the lower ceiling as of yet. I am constantly washing towels that I have to use to clean up the mess from routine use of the appliance. This product is a lemon. There should be some sort of buy back or trade in for some other, more useful washing machine.

Bought a brand new LG Top Freezer Refrigerator in Nov 2012 at Home Depot. It was working well & ran quiet. It has pretty good style & is functional. However, a little after a year in early 2014 the refrigerator started to act up. It was getting very noisy, and I noticed some ice build up at the back of the freezer interior. I tried to troubleshoot the problem, and tried to adjust the setting to make it less cold, but it didnt work. The fridge was get so loud I had to unplug it once in a while. I was fed up with the noise & the ice buildup, & decided to remove all the foods & defrost the fridge for half a day. Once the ice melted away & I plugged the refrigerator back the noise disappeared. I thought that solved the problem... Was I wrong. The troubleshoot helped to eliminate the annoying loud noise for a week & the noisy starting to creep back. And I noticed the freezer and fridge temperature was not cold enough. I found ice cream in the freezer was soften. Weeks went by, I just continue to struggle with the fridge. I finally bought two thermometer to monitor the freezer & refrigerator temp. The freezer was in the 30s and the fridge was in the 40s to 50. I realized miracle would not happened by waiting & contacted LG.I contacted the local authorized repair service, and I spent $170 for the 2 hr diagnosis service. The tech told me the sealed system was leaking - that was why the freezer had ice buildup, & the fan built out due to the ice buildup. The back of the freezer was frozen solid with ice when the tech opened the panel. I contact LG about the results of the diagnosis and I insisted LG should cover the cost of the repair for the leak & the burned out fan. I had to went back and forth with LG and the repair service for more than a week to get them to agree that the repair should be covered by the warranty. And LG agreed to pay for the parts but not the labor. The repair service quote me $450 plus but could be more. At that time I was furious. I paid $800 something plus tax on this fridge, and they expected me to spend $600 to $700 to repair it. No way Jose!! It was painful to let go a good looking fridge that still look brand new, but I decided to cut the loss & went to Sears to get a Kenmore for less than $600 before tax. Interestingly at Sears, I saw a Kenmore model with the exact interior design of the LG fridge I bought... scary!! Customers, please watch out that you dont buy a Kenmore fridge that make by LG. I will have my Kenmore fridge deliver today. This time I bought a extended 5-year warranty just to be on the safe side.

We purchased an open box LG washing machine from Best Buy; first they changed the delivery date without notice; fast forward five months, this washing machine flooded our brand new house THREE TIMES. LG sent a technician out one week later because they only have limited amount of service for this area; the technician couldnt find the problem and after the third visit, and us videotaping the washing machine during the wash to see where the water was coming from, the technician said it was fixed. Well, we requested him to stay and watch and finally, he see the problem that LG never heard of. After one month, LG finally decide to issue a request to Best Buy to issue a refund since the washing machine was under warranty. After I go to Best Buy, I am told that their store policy is not to issue a credit back to the credit card, but to issue a store credit. In other words, they force you to purchase something from their store rather than shop at a store that has a better return policy. Warning: Dont EVER purchase a major item from Best Buy.

I bought a Kenmore Elite Refrigerator (LG compressor) in November 2015. It had a ten year warranty on the compressor. In November of this year (2019), the refrigerator stopped cooling suddenly. I lost over $200 in frozen/refrigerated items. It cost me $99 to just have a repairman show up and then another $260 to have diagnostics run to determine the failure mode. It was a bad compressor. Took another week to get parts (although repairman had a truck full of new compressors since he replaces over 30 a month) and then another couple days to get the repairman back out to fix. Total bill to have fixed was over $500. Repairman told me he has had three newly replaced compressors fail within 48 hours just this month. I purchased a LG refrigerator Lfc25760st from Home Depot. Within 1st year the plastic parts inside were cracking and falling apart. It started with the wheels popping off the drawers like they were nothing. I called only to have them accuse me of being extremely rough with my new refrigerator. Then said I had to get someone out there to look at it. Guess what? I live 2 hours from the nearest service dept. So Id have to pay for that, mind you its still under warranty at that point. I call and find out Ill have to pay the 50.00 and 0.35 per mile of which LG will not reimburse me. So, I just skip it because at that point the drawers still side out without the elcheapo made wheels. Then everything else begins to crack and break. So I call again.Im so mad because they will not help me and its now 100% clear that its LGs fault this is happening. I have my old GE side by side that is 20 years old, been through teenagers, young kids and moving 3 times. Its still running and the insides are great. Not the LG!! My drawers all falling in! The rails have cracked and the drawers fronts are even cracking off. Never has there been such a completely uncaring company that is unwilling to rectify problems that are obviously their fault. Its time for a class action law suit. They went cheap on production for these refrigerators and we the consumer trusted this company to produce a quality appliance. I now walk away from everything LG and Im not the only one.So much for wanting a nice stainless french door refrigerator for my kitchen. I have contacted the company over 6 times and get nothing but run around. I even tried to get them to at least give me some type of discount on all the parts that are broken that should not be. It will be well over 400.00 to replace all the broken parts not including shipping. I have talked to other people that the exact same thing happened with them. LG also told them they have never heard of these problems before. Gave them the exact same run around. They replace their insides only to have them all break again. Im done. Its lawyer time.

This is the first LG product I have owned. After owning a washer/dryer set
This is the first LG product I have owned. After owning a washer/dryer set for 10 years with no problems made by Frigidaire, the dryer stopped heating. I gave in and decided it was time to upgrade my set (did a lot of shopping around). I purchased the set on 1/28/2012 (WT5001CW - Top load washer & DLE5001W-Electric Dryer) from HHGregg, cost $1701.58. On July 14th of 2012, the washer just stopped mid cycle with no power (clothes still wet inside it). One servicer in the state of KY services LG and could only get to it on 7/25. Power board was fried (order parts will be 3-5 business days to get and install because LG wont overnight the parts unless I paid for it). So now, we are looking at 8/1/2012 for a repair (the washer has a foul mildew odor since it has been filled with water since 7/14). With two young kids and a husband who works outdoors, not doing laundry isnt an option; so I have to pay a laundromat to get my clothes done since sitting for hours isnt feasible with a 20-month-old. LG was awful and couldnt care less if their product is bad and couldnt care less about a clients situation (I was lied to four times about finding another servicer to get to it faster and finally told that I would have to go with the first one). I was offered a laundry reimbursement on 7/26 (after at least 6 phone calls last week), but that was just a maybe. Once the washer is fixed, I can submit the claim for that and wait and see. I am disappointed in the service and product that LG offers. I was so excited to get this new pair and use them, but now I wish I had spent the extra money and gone Whirlpool or Maytag. I will never own another LG product again. Maybe I should sell this pair and cut my losses and move on.

I bought a LG refrigerator (model no. LFXS30766S) on December 2015. After two years of service the compressor went bad. I was able to get LG to replace the compressor, since it was still under its 10 year warranty although the repair cost me about $250 on labor cost. Now on February 2020 the second compressor when also bad. It is my conclusion that LGs linear inverter compressors are complete garbage and LG shall issue a recall and replace them or issue refunds to all customers with this problem.

July 16, 2014, we had our new LG stainless steel refrigerator delivered to our home and we were so excited. That excitement was short lived. It had been a few days before I could get to remove the plastic sheeting that was on the front of the doors and when I did start to remove the plastic sheeting I noticed there were small rust spots going down both side of the door. First I thought that stainless steel should not be rusting, and then said to my husband there are more spots all over the sides of the door. I then placed a call to Home Depot Store and informed them of the rust spots and that I wanted them to fix the problem. Home Depot told us to call LG. We placed a call to LG and were informed they DO NOT FIX COSMETIC problems. It was delivered like this.Home Depot had a local Refrigerator repair company come to look at the Rust on the side of my new refrigerator door; even this repairman was baffle as to what could have caused the rust spots. This repairman couldnt remove the spots after spending more than hour in my home. We got the run around for most of the first day and for four weeks following the first phone call. We called Home Depot back and threatened to return this new LG Refrigerator to the front doors of Home Depot and or report this unhappily experience to the local media outlets. We have finally been informed Home Depot will take care of this problem. Its been over two months since we purchased this rust bucket and the rusty refrigerator is still in my kitchen. Moral of the story, DONT PURCHASE LG. We learned the hard way, LG does not stand behind their products and is not customer friendly.

Love my front loading machine. The red color is beautiful too. It has everything you could wish for, lots of cycles, options to change temp, and even delay wash start time. The wash finished chime is pleasant and the volume can be adjusted. It is efficient and quiet. I love how much water is spun out of the clothes, reducing time in the dryer. I also bought the pedestal drawer for the bottom which helps save the back from discomfort when loading/unloading. I have had my machine since 2007 and have only had to replace the water pump in 2019. I highly recommend this machine, it is worth the money.
