ACBP stands for A crappy built Product. We have all these same problems you all have had - water in crisper, temp reads 34 but temp is 62 degrees, freezing up panel. Why are we being treated so poorly by customer service? Doesnt the company realize that it will affect all of their product line with so many complaints and no follow up. I want one representative to follow me through the process to get a refund on this lemon. 20 calls, 50 questions repeated to their representatives, its ridiculous. HELP, I wont even give them 1 star!!!

RF217ACPN - Purchased this item in August 2013. Same issues here: vegetable bins and bottom of refrigerator fill up with water. Finally in Feb. 2015 (after weve spent hours on the phone, defrosting the unit, etc) Samsung granted a one-time warranty extension where they would replace that back part (where the issue is) if we paid the labor costs of their authorized repair service center. Still seemed unfair that we had to pay anything, but we were tired of dealing with it so went ahead. Im sure no one will be surprised to learn that here we are - 4 months later - with vegetable drawers full of water again. Samsung completely useless (again) on the phone, even getting upset that we called it a design flaw. I havent been in the appliance department of any store recently, but they should all be ashamed if they continue to push this product on consumers.

I bought a French Door, 2 drawer blue stainless Samsung refrigerator Model
I bought a French Door, 2 drawer blue stainless Samsung refrigerator Model # RF25HMEDBSG 19 months ago. The icemaker started freezing up immediately after the 12 month warranty expired. I have deiced the icemaker 4 times in the last seven months. This week the fan in the back started making noise because it was rubbing on an ice buildup in the coils. This isnt what I expected when I laid out $ 2,088 for what I thought was a quality product. I didnt think I would need an extended warranty to cover the first three years. Wrong!! I looked at a YouTube video which saved me a service call which would have cost about $300 from Dish. What I learned was that there is a way to do a manual defrost for the coils that is not in the Users Manual. Empty your refrigerator. On my model, press the top item on the left side of the display which is Freezer and the middle item on the right side which is Lighting and hold for 12 seconds. It will go through a series of displays and stop on the last which is FD for Fast Defrost. This activates the heating elements to defrost the coils. It beeps for 30 or 40 minutes then stops which I assume means that the defrost is complete. I carefully defrosted the icemaker with a heat gun on low from a distance. That was 3 days ago and I have icemaker ice and no fan noise. We shall see how long it holds up. The YouTube showed an older model but by pressing the SAME LOCATIONS on the display twelve seconds, FF came up and he had to press a function three or four times until the Fast Defrost FD started. Use at your own discretion. I hope this saves you some repair $$.

I purchased a Samsung Microwave Model SMH8187STG from Costco on 19 MAR, 201
I purchased a Samsung Microwave Model SMH8187STG from Costco on 19 MAR, 2011. The other day, I went to close the door, heard a snap and it wouldnt close. The plastic latch was loose. I called Samsung (even though warranty was over) to inquire about what to do, and was passed on to their Canadian parts department, where I ordered a new plastic latch piece for $2.99, assuming thats what the problem was. It would be sent to the dealer nearest to our town where I could pick it up at that price, or mailed to me for $12.99 (I chose the pick up). The parts person also helped by directing me to a website as to how to take the door apart to get at the broken latch. I discovered many other sites where people had had problems with Samsung door latches failing, SE problems, etc.Anyway, when I took the door apart and got the latch out, there were a couple of other broken plastic pieces also. I picked up the new piece yesterday, brought it home, and discovered from looking at some other websites that some people had to glue broken plastic bits back on the door in order to get everything to work (they apparently hadnt ordered a new part). My new part didnt include the other plastic pieces, as they had been part of the inside of the door! They were very small, and very thin, and were part of the guides for the latch, and one of them appeared to be the piece that would anchor the spring that would attach to the latch. Crazy glue or epoxy wasnt going to fix that piece well enough to allow a spring to re-anchor for the stress on the latch. My wife and I do not slam the microwave door, and at our age (mid-60s), we realize were now living in a throw-away society, but this is ridiculous! It looks like well need a new door, as the whole internal part of the current door contains these tiny plastic anchors. Samsung knew or ought to have known that these pieces would not stand up to repeated use over more than a few years before the stress on them would cause them to fail. Why would they not have used reasonably strong metal anchors? While Im not a lawyer, one would think that those of us that have had this problem would have a decent case in small claims court or in a class action suit, even though the warranty is over. Does anyone agree? Anyway, after reading the other horror stories and our experience, its the first/last Samsung for us! P.S. So far, we havent had the SE problem, but from the looks of it, we probably will. However, we bought ours at Costco, as mentioned, and they are very good at taking things back from dissatisfied customers.

Called Samsung technician to repair leaking refrigerator. Every time it went into defrost mode it would leak water, a little when I first purchased it, then much worse. Refrigerator is nearly two yrs old, so is out of warranty. I am a retired Engineer, so did some reading and found the problem to be a smaller than required heat sink (Samsung calls it a drain clip). This heat sink is suppose to keep the defrost drain from frosting up. Took technician 30 minutes to replace this part with the correct size. Per tech, he gets a lot of this work. Here is my problem, should a company like Samsung be charging the consumer for their design flaw? The cost was $173, part cost was $10 dollars.Called Samsung ECR (Executive Customer Rep), explained that this was not a repair or a fix, but a correction to a design flaw. I thought Samsung would want to stand behind their product, but all she would say was that it was out of warranty. The model # RF263BEAESP/AA. There must be thousands of these out there with this known design flaw. I hope this review helps someone if they are looking for a new refrigerator. Needless to say, I wont be buying any Samsung products in near future.

I purchased the Samsung RF263BEAESR. I purchased in 2012. A year ago the ice machine began freezing to the point where the machine would not make ice. Now the motor is making a loud noise. It keeps me up at night and its began a week ago. I called Samsung customer service and they were so nasty. It left me with such a bad impression. I spent $3000 on a refrigerator and just 3 years later its giving my family problems. I dont have the money to purchase another refrigerator and I think its just not fair. Samsung should care about their customers and fix the problems people are having with these refrigerator. These products should last me at least 8 years problem free!

We recently purchased Samsung Dishwasher Model #DW80K5050 that seemed visually fine on delivery. When we attempted to install it a week later, there was internal damage not visible from the outside. Samsung sent a rep to confirm the DW had likely been dropped to cause multiple internal issues. When we shared this with Build.com, they said they had no responsibility since damage was not reported in their 24-48 hr window EVEN THOUGH DAMAGE WAS INTERNAL and COULD NOT BE DETECTED FROM THE OUTSIDE. And when we reached out to Samsung they said their warranty doesnt cover new appliances that had never operated (i.e. delivered broken). So we are stuck with a yet to be installed dishwasher for which we just ordered replacement parts at our expense. I would avoid buying from Build.com that was unwilling to correct this situation despite nearly $20,000 of appliance purchases from them the past year alone. And I would also avoid purchasing Samsung appliances based on their customer service, or lack thereof.

We bought a Samsung gas stove about 2 years ago for about $1200. Today we found out that we will have a nearly $300 repair bill for a new igniter in the oven. It seems that because we used the oven every day one or two times, the igniter was burned out. This is just incomprehensible to us! I also dont like the burners on top of the stove. Two are large burners with lots of BTUs. Both, one more than the other, send flames around even the biggest pot I own. (Think huge stock pot and a large 12 frying pan.) What good are BTUs if you always have the burner on slightly over medium even to heat water for pasta. This stove is very attractive, BUT it is all show and no go!

They dont deserve a star at all. I purchased a Samsung 3-Door Refrigerator on 3/29/2010. The price was $1870 + $199.99 for their premium service plan by new and some other small fees. The grand total was $2,266.97. 18 months later, my refrigerator stopped working. I called the service plan center and they sent out a repair person from A&E. The service guy replaced the motherboard and told me that will fix my problems. A few days later, my ice maker was not working. I called the service center and they sent out the repairman from A&E. The repair guy ordered a new ice maker and told me this should fix my problem. Well, that didnt. The service center and I have been going through this cycle for over 3 months and my refrigerator is still broken. My contract states that after 3 calls for the same problem, they will consider it to be a lemon and replace it. I have yet to get my refrigerator fixed or replaced. Please help me stop this fraud from happening.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Avoid this company and their dishwashers at all costs. The way they treat their customers is criminal. Here is my experience: On June 20, 2015 we purchased a dishwasher model DW80F600UTS/AA at Best Buy. On November 10, 2015 the dishwasher stopped working and we contacted Samsung and they advised a service technician had to be dispatched to repair. On November 20, 2015 a technician came out to our residence and informed us that the board had to be replaced. On February 25, 2016 the dishwasher stopped working again. We contacted Samsung and they were not able to find a service technician to replace the board. Samsung arranged to have the dishwasher exchanged for a new dishwasher at Best Buy. We received the new dishwasher (same model) on March 11, 2016.On February 1, 2017 the new dishwasher stopped working giving the same error as the first model. We generated a warranty service request. In this work ticket I requested that since we are repeatedly getting the same error with two separate dishwashers that we be refunded full purchase price of original dishwasher due to the problems with this dishwasher model. To keep replacing the boards or dishwasher every 3-11 months and the time it takes to get any resolution to our service issue is inconvenient. When the customer service representative called on February 2, 2017 I reiterated our position and requested to speak with a supervisor. On February 13, 2017 a supervisor called and assured us they could have the dishwasher repaired on February 17, 2017.On February 16, 2017 a call was received from an appliance repair company. I discussed the issue with the dishwasher and they said they would speak to a Samsung representative. I never back from this company. On February 27, 2017 I wrote a letter to the BBB regarding my customer service issue. The next day I was contacted by Samsung who promised I would have service on my dishwasher immediately. On March 9, 2017 Samsung contacted me regarding my satisfaction on the repair to my dishwasher. I informed them that it didnt happen as whoever they contacted to perform the repair never contacted me. I advised this person that I wanted to speak to a supervisor immediately.I havent been contacted yet, and based on my experience with this company, I doubt I ever will. Do yourself a favor and buy another brand. Just look at the length of time it takes them to respond to my service requests. Its been over a month now and still have a broken dishwasher. What company thinks that is acceptable? Samsung does.

We bought the dishwasher January 2011 and problems began in October 2011. We have had 4 different service visits with the 4th being today, March 20th 2011. It is still not fixed and now we are without a dishwasher since January 16th. Repairs have all been different, but the problem has been the same. The dishwasher stops mid-cycle and 2 lights blink. Their first repair over the phone was to turn off the breaker and try again. This did not help. Here is the timeline of repairs: 2011 - October 3, I called for appointment. October 24, repaired detergent latch. 2012 - January 16, I called for appointment. January 25, repaired drain pump. February 17, I called for appointment. March 15, replaced sump pump assembly. March 15, I called for appointment. March 20, I ordered something for the heater. This is getting absolutely absurd.

Our Samsung microwave SMH1816B is 3 years old and handle broke. No problems before broken handle. Our previous GE microwave lasted 19 years without any malfunctions. We went online to purchase new handle and get info on how to replace. Fortunately we found Consumer Affairs website and the horrible reviews of Samsung microwaves. We decided not to spend $30 on new handle. $1 tube of Super Glue seems to be working just fine! Thanks for all the consumer reviews. It certainly made our decision very easy.

I have been a fan of Samsung for many years and love the televisions they make. I have three of them. I thought I would get the same quality product in their dishwasher. I purchased the DMT-800RHS. This product, simply put is a lemon. The unit has a water fill sensor, that when it gets a little dirty it produced a 9E fault code. This code will come up every couple of months. Same problem with new parts. Its like having a car that when the engine air filter gets dirty it generates a code and renders the car inoperative. This product is the biggest waste of money at $799. Samsung tech service is heartless and do not really care, only to offer to come and clean the part every couple of months for $150 plus tax. If any water falls into the machine while replacing the water fill sensor you get a LE fault code. This is a leak detection fault. Now you must bring the machine outside, turn it upside down, remove some screws (special screws) which are of a torx type and dry the internal parts. It must air dry over night. Simply put this unit is the biggest lemon and Samsung will not acknowledge it. They simply do not care. I will never buy another Samsung product ever again.

Samsung RF217 - I purchased this model (32) after installing a 36 Samsung in my mothers house. I was impressed with the larger model and expected similar results. My initial displeasure with this model was only two door shelves are full depth, so youre limited to 2 shelves that measure about 6x 10 for tall items. The interior shelves have little flexibility and only allow for a maximum height of 9.5, so a lot of my tall items have to lie down (and hopefully dont leak). But my main complaint is one month after the warranty expired (there is 5 years on the refrigeration system), I began noticing water in the produce drawers, a lot. I emptied and cleaned the drawers till today, finally Id had enough and spent 2 hours melting the ice that blocked the drain tube. Lowes would not cover the cost of a service call since it was out of warranty and Samsung will not admit they have a design flaw. If you research this problem you will find it is a common occurrence, so I cannot recommend this refrigerator or brand until they remedy my problem.

I bought this refrigerator/freezer, Model # RF26XAEPN43FE4BZ100091T, in latter part of March or early April 2010. The refrigerator stopped cooling on Thanksgiving evening. I had to rent a refrigerator to store all of my leftover food. Plus the other items I had in the refrigerator. It was under warranty. The repairman didnt come until the next week. It was frozen in the back. It was repaired and two other times the same thing happened. When the warranty ran out, I gave up on having it fixed. It began to freeze all of vegetables and fruits. Also, anything liquid. I called Samsung Tuesday 5/02/2017. I was told that I would have to have a technician come out and assess the problem. I called again on 5/03/2017. Silly me I thought that they were going to cover the $125.00 for the tech. I proceeded to question the person that I was talking to. He kept putting me on hold, because he could not answer my questions.I finally asked if I could send a letter or speak to someone who could authorize payment for the tech and the repairs. I was told that my appliance was out of warranty. I already knew that. The phone person told me someone higher up will contact me. The odds of that happening are less than one out of a trillion. My icemaker does not work. The door freezes; I stopped messing with it. I just wanted to vent my frustration, so now I have. I will never buy another Samsung product. I have been unable to locate my receipt; I bought the product at Lowes in Newport News, VA.

The problem with water in the drawers and on floor of refrigerator section
The problem with water in the drawers and on floor of refrigerator section is quite common. The drain tube gets iced up. You need to replace the evaporator cover in the refrigerator section. You also need to add a drain probe to carry heat from the defrost heater into the drain tube. Before you can remove the cover, you must defrost ref for 24 hours with doors open, unplugged. To remove rear cover in ref section remove 2 screws along bottom edge and then remove plug in center near top and remove screw under it. Start prying from each side from the bottom. Release 2 plugs at top left. Make sure drain hole in tray under evaporator is clear of ice by pouring hot water down it. Install new probe and install new cover. I think that if you go to searsparts.com and enter your model number you should be able find the correct parts.

3 of 4 Samsung appliances have now died in 5 yrs. Today SMH9187 microwave door latch broke after giving Error 13 the other day. Reading other reviews Im now afraid it will turn on by itself and burn my house down! Worse, Samsung dishwasher broke in 18 months and not only leaked on my hardwood floors but got so hot I needed a potholder to turn off after 5 hrs and it wouldnt stop. Lowes at least stepped in, said these were so bad I got a new Bosch Ive loved now for 3 yrs. Samsung counter depth refrigerator also had icemaker die in under 2 yrs. Lowes replaced it due to extended warranty but now 3 yrs later I tried again with warranty expired. Also had 2 Samsung LCD TVs die in 2 yrs, with both a Blu-ray player and separate DVD go belly up in that time too. Stupid name for ever buying anything from them after 2nd item. Needless to say I will NEVER EVER AGAIN BUY ANYTHING FROM SAMSUNG! Unbelievably bad quality and worse, truly dangerous!! Stay away, hope they go out of business soon.

We purchased our Samsung stainless steel french door fridge 1 yr 4 months ago. (FModel # RF261B EAESR). Yesterday I noticed the right door was slightly lower than left door by looking at the top. The same day I went to open the door and it came crashing down on the floor!! Thankfully my 3 year old son and my little dog were not around and no one was hurt. Upon inspection the upper right door hinge broke that anchors the door. I think its a horrible design flaw in the part. Although the door hinge plate is metal the male end of the hinge is plastic! That part is what failed. The fall did cause one of the removable door shelves to crack. Im writing this complaint because Im big on safety and hope Samsung reads this so no one gets hurt in the future.

I purchased a Samsung FlexZone a year ago. Over the past few months it has been shutting down. First the freezer got warm then the bottom fridge got warm and now the whole thing is at sixty degrees and we are throwing out food. I have had a tech out and have a diagnosis. Every time I call Samsung to have them set up a tech to come out and fix it I get, We will call you in one to three days. And thats as far as it goes... Now Im without a fridge. You need to stand behind your product.

I got a Samsung range and it does not go against the wall. It has to sit 3 inches away from the wall because of how the gas valve is high. Messaged Samsung asking them if they could help because it is a hazard in my kitchen for the free back splash kit they offered by sending in your receipt of purchase which I did but because I did not buy it from a store and bought it from a review group they kept declining it over and over. They have the worst customer service. It was a waste of money. They did not care to help at all to solve my problem. I will no longer support Samsung or buy any more of their products and right now every appliance in my kitchen is a Samsung including my TV which will be no more will I buy again.

After 2 years, this stove broke during the self clean cycle (only 2nd time I ran self clean). I tried calling Samsung and they were no assistance. They gave me the name of several repair facilities none of which were still in business or willing to come to my town which by the way is not large but still has 60,000 people living in it. Samsung does not provide any service whatsoever once a product is out of warranty. I was put on hold for 40 minutes - tried talking to a supervisor who promised to call me back with a list of repair facilities and they never did. I spent almost $4000 on this range and after two years it has broken and I cannot get it serviced. I am building a new home and will never ever again by Samsung appliances. I could have lived with a quality issue but not with the absolute zero service and willing to help issue. I have heard that Samsung tries to make getting service so horrendous that people will just buy another unit rather than fixing it. To spend $4000 on a stove that only lasts 2 years is unacceptable!

We purchased our Samsung refrigerator model # RFG297AAPN, the really large, 2 door bottom freezer. We had ice maker problems right away. The ice comes out and sprays as the shoot is very large and the ice seems to build up somewhere and when you ask for ice you get quite a bit of water. Samsung sent out a repair tech who replaced the ice maker. It still does the same thing. We have had water build up and freeze under the bins. We have a home warranty that covers the refrigerator but not the ice maker. They fixed the leak but the ice maker still gives water with ice. It is a large refrigerator which is great but customer service at Samsung is hard to deal with.

Two years ago we remodeled our kitchen. The new Samsung over the stove microwave matches the new Samsung stove and has some nice features and I do like it, but it is starting to make a grinding noise. It seems to have caught something from its big brother, the stove. This stove has all the bells & whistles..Looks like a cooks delight... Thats a disguise. The stove really sucks. It cooks everything to hot and the smooth top is a ** to clean compared to my old Whirlpool smooth top. The top burners on the Samsung take eons to come up, and when they do it mimics Kilauea. It will not do a simmer but slow boils. I end up cooking everything on the small burner rings, including big pots. I had to drop the oven temperature down 25 degrees to get the right results. I called the Samsung repair service. The guy told me there is nothing wrong with the stove. He must be a Democrat.Recently, when I use the oven, the convection fan started making noise... It is now making a racket. I checked with an appliance guy and he said that he has seen Samsung stove fans junk out before and eventually seize on a regular basis... the cost to replace the fan assembly would be about $300-$375 bucks. I went on the Internet and found videos on how-to replace the fan. I found an appliance parts website. My husband looked at the YouTube videos and is going to fix the stove himself. Never a Samsung product again. I understand their TVs are not very good either.

We just bought (September 2019 ) a 23 cu ft Samsung Model RF23R6201. The freezer operates at 15 degrees Fahrenheit higher temperature than it should! It is supposed to be at minus 5 degrees Fahrenheit but it is actually at plus 10 degrees Fahrenheit (I have verified this with two Refrigerator Thermometers). A Samsung repairman came by a couple of days ago (after a one week delay!) and supposedly fixed the problem with a software update which did not improve the performance of the Refrigerator at all! Needless to say, the ice maker does not work either! Furthermore the Refrigerator (deceptively?) indicates an inaccurate value for the freezer temperature. STAY AWAY FROM SAMSUNG REFRIGERATORS! (I doubt I will ever buy any SAMSUNG product.)

Samsung microwave SMH9187ST - We experienced the error over the weekend (lots of fun having beeping coming from an unknown place in the house at 3 AM); unplugged and plugged back in in the morning, but it only worked for a couple hours before the SE error and beeping starting again. UGH... I am not brave enough to pull open the unit on my own, so I called Samsung and initial support told me they could do a service call at my expense where the unit is out of warranty. I stood my ground and politely reminded the service rep of how many errors are noted for this unit online, the commitment of Samsung to address the issue, and that numerous other owners have had this service provided for free - even for out of warranty units. After some further holding I was transferred to the Executive Service Center where the rep. agreed to cover the cost of the service call and repair provided it is in fact the touchpad that needs to be replaced. If the issue is something else (highly unlikely), I would own the cost. Seemed reasonable so I agreed. I am now pending a call from a local service vendor to schedule the work. The kill em with kindness approach worked well in getting them to work with me and cover the cost of the repair. Overall this has been a pretty reliable unit for the past 3 years. I just dont get why they dont do a full recall if this is going to happen with every unit eventually.

Our Samsung fridge (model RF28K9380SR1AP) was not making ice for at least a month and prior to that when it did make ice, it could never keep up. We were 1 month out of warranty when I called about it. I paid $100 to have a repair company out who found that the issue was related to a manufacturer defect. The fill line to the ice maker was in too far so not allowing the fan to cool the line and make ice. I called Samsung back to notify them of what the company found and thought they should reimburse my $100, but they didnt even consider it. It was almost impossible to understand the out of country rep but it was CLEAR that he and his company did not care about me in the slightest.

Just reached the 6th year of owning our Samsung Side by Side Refrigerator RM257ABSH which we paid nearly $3000. A&E (Sears) is the only repair option... I called every repair place and also asked for referrals to repair people they knew. The A&E repairman that found the leak in our coil was very knowledgeable, but the coil I paid for never came in. The appointment date came and went with no phone call. I called A&E, three or four times before I found out that their parts source no longer carries the coil and they had move my appoint from the 6th to the 20th of February. I called Samsung, since my fridge at this point has been down for 4 weeks and was given Customer Relations... after four business days of going back and forth between A&E and Samsung, I was told that the coil is no longer available and they would have to buy back my fridge. The A&E repairman during the service call told me coils are the most common problem with refrigerators... which means that when you buy an expensive refrigerator from Samsung, you cant count on them keeping parts past the 5 year warranty. The Customer Relations person told me it was past its 5 year warranty point that they carry parts. They offered me a buy back that is reduced by 10% per year. I could have fixed the fridge for $495, instead I trash a $3000 unit for a few hundred dollars... What a deal!!!!!The total repair cost by A&E was $495.00. I paid $185.00 down for parts and the service call. Now I am out of $1500-2500 for a new fridge and Samsung may give me a small buy back amount! My advice... Never, Never, Never buy a Samsung refrigerator because they may not carry your parts after the warranty. Their fix is to give you a few hundred bucks and send you on your way to your next purchase... which in my case will never be a Samsung!!!

My husband and I purchased a Samsung French door refrigerator with the bottom freezer. This refrigerator contains two ice makers one in the refrigerator and one in the freezer. The Ice maker in the refrigerator has stopped working and I found out today that Samsung does not make the parts to repair my ice maker in the refrigerator part. I have spent almost $3000 for this refrigerator and it’s only about three years old and I am quite upset at the fact that I can’t get the parts to fix it! The model number is RF263TEAESG/AA. The part number for the ice maker is DA-97-08117B.I have spoken to Samsung directly on May 24, 2019 and spoke to Ryan and she directed me to J and J international for Samsung parts, I spoke to a woman named Dawn who looked up my part number and told me they discontinued it and I cannot get it. What am I supposed to do with my refrigerator when my ice maker doesn’t work and I’ve spent all this money on it and Samsung discontinued the part. I still had to pay the appliance guy $150 just for showing up and letting me know that he can’t get the parts. I personally feel that Samsung is putting out poor quality appliances and I will never purchase one again. I am stuck with a Samsung refrigerator that does not work properly and I would like you to contact Samsung about this problem! Sincerely, Debra **.

I purchased a new refrigerator in June of 2016. The refrigerator was on back order and was received on July 2016, 1 month later. Purchased online from Best Buy. In December 2016 the refrigerator side stopped working. Called Samsung, ticket made, service ticket created, local repair sent to review. Tech said parts were needed and has received numerous calls on same issue. Fans seized and no cooling. When I purchased this refrigerator I felt it was to be a good 10 to 15 years before I would have any problems. My last fridge was a hand-me-down Frigidaire from my mom but felt I would go to a more futuristic appliance with bells and whistles. I was wrong. I have since lost over $400 dollars in spoiled groceries. I cannot use it because it does not cool. Lights are ice. I keep calling Best Buy and Samsung, and get the runaround. Samsung, ticket still open, parts in limbo. Best Buy wont accept it back since its past 45 days of original purchase. I still owe $1,200.00 on a $1,650.00 fridge.I wish I would have checked more reviews on these Samsung appliances. This is to warn others of what can happen to you if you do get such an appliance. Also to point out how Best Buy and Samsung support DEFECTIVE appliances. Samsung thumbs down. Sorry cant help you, is the answer. Best Buy thumbs down. Sorry not our problem after 45 days. Pay 3 times for service and maybe we replace it. Very disappointed with Best Buy on this enigma. Will hashtag this on Twitter and Facebook until I finish paying for it, and hopefully help some other sap from making the wrong purchase, and where NOT to purchase this item with no support or lemon law for defective products that should last at a minimal 5 to 10 years. I received a brand new Samsung refrigerator model: RF263AFRS, purchased from Sears in February 2011. Despite appropriate care it failed the summer 2013 (two years!). Neither Sears nor Samsung offered to stand for the quality and the consumers concern for the excessive noise (now clearly audible through the entire two storey house!). The cooling also seems to be an issue. I am in the process of confirming the latter with an internally placed thermometer. We bought a Samsung refrigerator, delivered in 01/2015. The refrigerator is just out of warranty in 6/2020 and the ice maker stopped working properly several months ago. It never put out much ice to begin with. We had to de-ice the fridge and reset it several times because it stopped making ice. It also started leaking from behind the water/ice dispenser and down it. We had to keep a towel on the drip tray to keep the water from trickling down the fridge. Samsung refused to cover the repair because it was just out of warranty. The service repair shop referred to us by Samsung, charged $320 total for the ice maker part that costs $110 with shipping on Samsungs site. The repair man would give us a window of time and then not call us back. I had to reach out to him every time and 1/2 the total payment was required upfront. Another friend of ours has the same fridge and purchased it right before we got ours and their motor went out a year after owning it. In July 2013, we bought a Samsung 3 door refrigerator with drawer for about $2,000.00. There was a manufacturers defect in one of the electrical cords attached to the drawer, which was repaired here. In January 2013, the refrigerator and freezer stopped cooling and freezing, so we called HH Gregg and were automatically connected to Samsung. Samsung did not dispatch a repairman, but instead said someone would get back to us. We waited all day as our food began to spoil, and called HH Gregg local number and asked for a store manager. He told us he would send an email to HH Greggs corporate office, and they would replace the refrigerator, which might take a week, and that another store employee, Beth, would call us back and set us up with a loaner refrigerator. When Beth did not call, we called her, and she said she had no such authority. I asked to speak to the manager again, and she connected me to Jeff, another person, who informed me that the store does not issue loaners and that there would not be a replacement refrigerator from HH Gregg. We called Samsung several times also, and they continued to say that someone would get back to us in 24 to 48 hours. At this point, we regret dealing with HH Gregg, and we regret buying a Samsung. I definitely do not recommend HH Gregg for any reason, and think people should avoid them entirely. As to Samsung, I am stuck with a lemon and will have to deal with their impossibly frustrating and slow customer service for the remainder of the time the refrigerator is under warranty. I have read several horror stories about Samsung, including 7 repairs in 4 years, at **. In summation, HH Gregg sells shoddy merchandise. The ice maker has now had six different upgrades and it still quits working every three months. Samsung says its over a year old so they dont care. The extended warranty company says they didnt come out enough times to consider it a lemon so no exchanges for a refrigerator without an ice maker. Very disappointed and will never buy another Samsung product.

Purchased new French door Samsung fridge (RF18FENBWW). About 4 months later I noticed water under the veg drawers. Thinking I had spilled it, I just cleaned it up. Then a few months later, same thing. Called Samsung and they told me to defrost it, raise front up - did that. Then about 2 weeks after 1 yr warranty expired, I need to clean up water at least twice weekly or it runs onto floor. Samsung will do nothing. I have to defrost for a few days at least monthly. Never, never ever buy a Samsung refrigerator. Really feel bad for these people that bought the whole appliance suite.

My extended family has 3 Samsung fridges - 2x RL67 and one RL62. After approximately 16 months, two of them developed noise. The noise stopped each time the fridge door was opened. The problem was with the coil in the cooler - it had iced over. I called a technician for our fridge (RL62), and he repaired the problem. He offered me insurance for three years at a cost of $360. I refused, then he offered me insurance for one year for $200 (the cost of the repair). After Googling the type of fridge problem, I discovered that there is a serious problem with Samsung fridges. It appears that there is every chance that the problem in my fridge will return in several months!

My experience with this Samsung 3 door fridge has been very disappointing. I have never spent over 2000.00 on a fridge for it to cost more than 1000.00 in repairs only 2 years later. It constantly freezes up, ice cube maker doesnt work, the freezer door handle snapped the middle where doors close broke off. I need a new fridge after 2 years and spending over 3000.00.

We bought a Samsung Stove Top/Oven last September. On July 31st, a regulator malfunctioned which prevents the gas from turning off. We immediately called Samsung, which (after several phone calls) said that they would give a full refund (instead of paying for the repair). That was their choice, not ours. After two days with no response from Samsung customer service, I called back and (after 40 minutes of hold time... which has been a pretty standard amount of time to wait) I was told my picture of the receipt didnt capture the whole receipt and was asked if I could take it again. I did, sent it into the same email I sent the first and heard nothing for 2 days. I called and (after 40 minutes of hold time) they told me they didnt get it. I resent it and then it was verbally confirmed that they received it and it was adequate. We heard nothing for a day or two and I called back and (after 40 minutes of hold time) they told me it was in process. I explained that we were without an oven and they assured me they understood. Ive called back every 2 or 3 days for a month... always given the same promise that today, someone will call me/email me/contact me which hasnt happened. In one month of dealing with their customer service I have only received one phone call or email from Samsung. Every contact was initiated by me and every email has gone unanswered--even when I request and demand an answer. on August 17th I was told that my refund request was rejected because my receipt was not a valid bill of sale because it didnt have all of the required information (that is, the model number and name of the stove). This was the only receipt I was given, so I called the local store. They sent me some screen shots of all the information they had, which I forwarded to the emails provided to me by Samsung. In the 12 days since, I still have not heard anything from Samsung. They have not called back (as they said they would), they have not answered an email (which they said they will). If I call, I cannot speak to the same person I spoke to the day before, but must listen as this new person assures me they are on my side and want me to get my refund and assure me they will call me back (which NEVER HAPPENS). When I ask to speak to a supervisor (or executive customer service) I wait for 40 minutes and still get zero help. What a COMPLETE DISAPPOINTMENT the oven has been and what a complete and total mess their customer service has been.

ALL 3 pieces (which one has been in use LESS than 8 weeks) have a malfunction, from NOT working AT all, to the electronics board on the stove/oven working on & off. The manufacturer expects me to wait up to 2 weeks for repair service. OR I can PAY for the repair myself they said. These appliances have not been in use for 4 months yet & they do NOT WORK properly. LOWES only honors returns for 90 days, I am 20 some days too late, & #LOWES will not service them either, BUT I STILL HAVE to PAY LOWES for broken appliances. Their CS sucks! They could care less they sold me some lemons. I bought refrigerator and washing machine. Both have 5 year guarantee. But unfortunately I face a trouble, first with the washing and after that with refrigerator. As I informed them on phone that I faced this trouble with both products and need them to be repaired. They said, Yes we can send repairer to fix but you need to pay for that if there will be your fault. I asked that how can I trust you? She was rude and answered me, Maam technician will see then let you know and if he said that its your fault then you have to pay him the inspection fees, and along with that if I want to fix that so for that I have to pay again. That was very embarrassing for me.Now my machine is leaking water with every wash, and my refrigerator also not working specially its freezer. This will be the second summer Im facing this problem. They are not ensuring anything. So regret to buy these products. I recommend everyone to not to buy Samsung products because at the time of selling they promise for everything but if we face any trouble they show us terms and conditions. Their motive is to sell the product not to provide after buying satisfaction to the customers.

Samsung makes a beautiful refrigerator. It is well-built with shelves and compartments. Please dont have a problem, because you can wait months for the replacement parts. Also, the phone support and their customer concern is deplorable. They give you constant run around and you can never speak to the same person. You must repeat what your problem is over and over again. They need a program to teach their employees better product knowledge and people skills. In 2013 purchased a Samsung Side-by-side SS Refrigerator Model RS26TDR from Lowes. Worked good for about 8-9 months; came home & found the temperature in refrigerator was 60+ degrees; lost all food - called repairman to fix it & filed a loss on homeowners insurance [I had a rider to cover refrigerator loss]; worked great for about 7 more months; came home & found the same thing. This time in addition to losing food we lost at least $1,000 in **. Called repairman & filed a loss on insurance--has a $500 limit less $100 deductible so I didnt really get anything for the drug loss. Went & purchased a new Whirlpool French Door to replace it & moved it into laundry room to use for drugs which take up at least 1/4 of the space. Was working ok as far as I knew & last week came home & found the same problem 60+ degrees in refrigerator & around 0 in freezer.Cleaned everything out & called a repairman--will not work on Samsung appliances; called every repairman in our area - no one would come. Was told I would have to call a Nationwide Repair Company & gave me a phone number. When I called the minimum trip & diagnosis would be around $200 - then there would be labor & parts charged for repair. Also could not come for at least a week. I had to have a refrigerator to store ** & other drugs requiring refrigeration. Called insurance & cannot file a 3rd claim on same appliance so Im out another refrigerator of food & hoping it was caught early enough not to damage the **. I went out & spent $250 on a used refrigerator for the drugs. Have been researching online & found out that Samsung knew they had this problem, did not do a recall & ended up getting the class action suit against them cancelled. I will never ever buy anything Samsung again.

Microwave and dishwasher stopped working next. Every time we called Samsung maintenance to come and fix everything, it would get fixed temporarily and we would have to call again. When we called again, they would have an excuse as to why it won’t work. We did this about 4-5 times. We bought our Samsung refrigerator/freezer (model RF217ACRS) approximately 3 years ago. Worked just fine until shortly after purchase, one day noticed the bottom drawer freezer wouldnt close. Upon inspection noticed ice about a half inch thick in bottom under drawers. Chipped it out with an ice pick. Huge pieces of ice! Drawer closed fine once ice removed. Thought it was our fault, since maybe we hadnt shut door properly so didnt worry. This has now kept happening and I chip ice out of the bottom about once a week.Same for vegetable/fruit drawers in fridge. They fill with water (about 1/2 inch) and food was getting soaked/frozen. I ended up buying mats to elevate food in both drawers so they wouldnt get wet! Every week I take out drawers and pour water out. Also, ice/water build up underneath these two drawers too, that I chip/dry out once a week. Usually takes 2 to 3 dish towels to soak up excess water, then I chip away at ice!!! It is a huge pain, but after reading the other reviews here dont feel a service call will do any good. Guess we are stuck with a loser of a fridge/freezer for a few years and doing extra to keep it running and water/ice free. Will never buy Samsung again.Side note: We did not buy the ice maker, so that is not an issue or contributing factor to our problems.

I purchased my Samsung dishwasher model number DW7933LRASR in November 2014. Within the first year the circuit board went. When I called the repair company and explained the problem they knew right away to bring the new board as others had same issue. Within a few months of the repair and after the warranty was out the same problem occurred. This time I have to pay to have the company confirm its the same problem - if it is Samsung will pay for the board but I have to pay for the repair (the company is in another town an hour away so probably cheaper to buy a new dishwasher!). I purchased a double oven stove and refrigerator too - no major issues but not 100% happy so would not recommend any Samsung home appliances. The dishwasher is certainly problematic and Samsung does not care about its customers!!!

I purchased my refrigerator on the 16-7-13 model SR690GDLS, 7 months later
I purchased my refrigerator on the 16-7-13 model SR690GDLS, 7 months later there was a bubble in the door underneath the water dispenser. The whole door was replaced on the 1-4-17 and the top drip tray part that was faulty in its design as it had holes in it so the water would drip into the bottom tray. This was replaced with one that did not have any holes in it so the water could not go in to the bottom tray. I was told that this would fix the problem. Then after 3 months the plastic around the glass started to crack. I had them replaced on the 4-8-14. Samsung rang me a few days later and said they were extremely sorry for all the trouble and sent me two movie tickets. Two weeks later I notice another bubble on the new door. I rang Samsung again, they sent another door out and another top drip tray with no holes and replaced them on the 9-9-14 only 5 months since the last door was fitted. I suggested to the repairman that the underneath tray may be the faulty one as it was not replaced last time and that the same thing has happened again and that may be the problem and could he please replace that part also. He said that I would have to ring Samsung and order it so I rang Samsung while he was finishing off and they asked to speak to him. He told them that it wasnt faulty and that he replaced what was sent. I then explained the situation again to Samsung and said that that was his opinion. But my opinion is that it must be faulty as it is the only part that has not been replaced and I have had the same problem and do not want it to happen again. She said she would order the part and call me back. 30mins later she called and said they did not think that the part is faulty and that if I ask them to send it out, I have to pay for it. As you can see I am not happy with this situation and the problem is not fixed as I do not have a guarantee that it will not happen again.

We ordered a new Samsung dishwasher from AJ Madison. We ordered it, received it on 11/28/12. My husband installed it that night. The next evening, I loaded it, ran it and opened it. Soap was never released. I ran it again, and it was the same thing. The little door never popped open to release soap. I called the next morning. The girl from Samsung didnt really know why but theres a sensor & if its blocked, maybe it would not be released (she couldnt tell me where sensor was located). Now, its Sunday, 12/2/12. I ran it again, making sure there was nothing too tall or blocking - same thing. I called & a service call must be set up. This lady said the other person lied - there is no sensor, only for water level. She gave me the name of the service company & number. They would call the next day. The guy left his name & number. I tried several times to call him & the service company (the phone rings continuously & I cant leave voice mail). I called Samsung again - a lengthy call. It turns out its not that company. Its a different one. Dont you think I should be told this? They have my number, & I was told I should call them to set it up. We set up for Saturday. AJ Madison called & said they dont have a repair company that works on Saturdays & I had one for Monday. No one told me about that. Monday was not good for me. We called Samsung up . Well, we had to argue, of course, but some nice guy came on Saturday, 12/8/12, and said, The part is broken; it needs to be ordered & replaced (he doesnt have it in truck). When the part comes in, someone will come back & replace it. I ordered a new dishwasher - not a floor model, clearance center, or scratch & dent. Many, many, many phone calls to both Samsung (who is giving us the runaround) and AJ Madison (who is giving us the runaround) have left us with a broken new Samsung dishwasher which has only been used 3x and is broken from the start. I ordered this & think I should have some right to getting one that works the first time correctly (not broken). Im still washing by hand. Furthermore, we have offered AJ Madison to take it back & we are willing to spend more money w/ them & get something else (my husband is even willing to bring it to them). They will not do that if it can be repaired again. I ordered a new dishwasher - not a floor model or scratch & dent. We are extremely dissatisfied w/ both companies. I should have some right to get a properly working appliance for my money. We have been greatly affected by Hurricane Sandy with 4 & 1/2 ft water in our home. Now we have to argue & call daily for something that was defective. Give us a break.

October 2016 I bought a 4 door Samsung stainless steel refrigerator (model #RF22K9381SR/AA) from Lowe’s. The panel on the door below the icemaker/water dispenser has terrible water stains that will not come off with any recommended product by Samsung. When I complained to Samsung they sent out a technician to see it. The technician said there was a possibility that it developed a leak behind the door panel and he took a picture and said Samsung will be reviewing it.I then got a call from Samsung saying its not their problem because they are not responsible for cosmetic damage. Stainless is not suppose to stain with obvious water marks. I believe there is some defect with the refrigerator ice maker/water dispenser and/or that the stainless steel product they used is of inferior quality. I am very dissatisfied with my $3,0000 purchase of this refrigerator and am wondering if I can take Samsung to small claims court. I do not recommend purchasing Samsung refrigerators.

I purchased my Samsung refrigerator in 2015. Within that first year I had Samsung repairs visit four times due to ice maker problems. They never fixed the problem. Thank goodness I purchased the extended warranty from Lowes. I had a warranty repair person visit over the same ice maker issues seven times. Each time I had to take four hours off of work to be home for the repair. The icemaker has been replaced along with several other components at least three times. Each time it breaks within weeks and still does not work. Not only does it not produce ice properly, it also leaks water down the front of my stainless steel and now I have permanent stains in my stainless steel refrigerator. Not Appealing! Purchasing this refrigerator has created significant financial loss for me and my family. Not only do I have an ugly refrigerator with water stains down the front of it, I cannot get ice from it, and I have lost several hours equating to several hundred dollars of loss work having to be home each time a repair person needed access to fix it. Purchasing a Samsung refrigerator has been the worst experience and the worst purchasing decision I have ever made.
