This is an awesome refrigerator. You have tons of storage space and is well designed to be flexible and easy to adapt to varying needs. The only thing bad about it is the ice/water dispenser. It takes forever for ice to come out and because the tray is so shallow and poorly designed it is constantly getting water all over the floor.

I had a 7 year old Samsung refrigerator that froze up completely in the back which stops the fan and then the refrigerator does not cool. Had it repaired 3 times in a month. Problem kept happening and I pretty much didn’t have a working refrigerator for 5 weeks. Finally the repairman told me the whole cooling system had to be replaced. The cost would be at least 1200.00. I wasn’t going to put that much money into a refrigerator that was over 7 years old. I thought this was just bad luck and went out and bought another Samsung refrigerator. 2 years later the exact same thing is happening and I’m going through the same thing with the Samsung Repairman who keeps coming in to fix it and two weeks later it happens again. Now I find out doing my research that this is a common problem for Samsung refrigerators and there are two class action lawsuits against them. Because the refrigerator is less than 5 years old the main cooling system is still under warranty, but Samsung doesn’t want to admit that that’s the problem and replace it. Customer service is not helpful at all and they really don’t care how long you have to go without a refrigerator. Besides this problem the inside of these refrigerators are made like crap. All the shelves on the doors have cracks in them and all the wheels on the drawers have snapped off. I will never buy another Samsung product again, unfortunately it was a very expensive lesson to learn.

I purchased a Samsung microwave SMH1611B at the Lowes in Douglasville, Georgia in Sept. 2012, paid $167 (sale) for the beautiful merchandise. I brought it home and in Oct. 2012, the microwave began to make a loud noise. As the timer decreased, the noise became louder. I contacted Lowes. They sent out service people to make the repairs, had to replace the transformer. All worked well until Dec. 2012. The microwave started doing the same thing except the noise wasnt as loud so again, I called Lowes. Appointment was set up and the repair man came again but, this time, after explaining to them that it was doing the same thing, they came without the transformer and had to reschedule and they came back on this past Monday in Jan. 2013 to replace the transformer. Today is Wednesday, January15. Now there is no noise today. Its not heating. Must I say how disappointed I am with this microwave? You have to have 3 service calls and the technicians have to tell you that the microwave is no good for them to give you another microwave. This doesnt make any sense. I should have taken the microwave back and got my money back. I will never purchase another Samsung microwave as long as I live. It is, however, still under warranty being that I just purchased it in Sept. 2012 and its now Jan. 2012.

Four years ago I purchased a Samsung Counter Depth Refrigerator. Last year the refrigerator quit, the repairman said the entire back was frozen. We surmised it was due to the ice maker being housed in the refrigerator (not the freezer), we defrosted it and I quit using the ice maker and turned it off. We use a countertop ice maker now. But lo and behold, it has done it again. This time I contacted Samsung who referred me to an authorized Repair person who ordered the parts to repair the refrigerator. It’s been a month now and I AM STILL WAITING!!!

Samsung fridge SR320MLS purchased 3 years ago at Noel Leeming Manukau, NZ. But after a year and a half I found out its left and right both inner shell hook for vege bin is broken at small coin size and Samsung has replaced it to new one, it was smooth and good. But a year and a half now from replacement, exactly same place of left and right inner shell is broken at small coin size but this time Samsung service NZ, they wants to stick some patch on both side of broken inner shell. Imagine about it Ive paid $1,134 for good look stainless fridge for good fresh stuff for my kitchen but do I have to use broken shell fridge with ugly patch because of Ive choose weak and wrong product, that seems like a manufacturing fault? Are you happy at all? Of course not! Therefore I asked them for replace it to another right stronger model with extra payment but they didnt allow it for 2, 3 times so Ive required for talk with NZ general service manager for and she called me for 2 times but unfortunately my battery was flat and I was at outside so again Ive let them know good time to contact with me but neither G.S didnt contact me nor Im able to speak with her through call center. It was 3 months ago until now they did resolve my claim and G.S never contact to me. How many times do I have to contact to service center??? Because of they are wrong product totally it was more than 5 times. Now Im very sick for Samsungs after service. Please tell me something, what shall I do?

I bought the Samsung Refrigerator in 5/14 from Best Buy (I will not go to Best Buy for anything). I started having problems with the ice maker not making ice in a few months and continue for over 3 years. My neighbor was nice enough to explain to me that the frig wont make ice if the frig is not level. Call someone out to level it. The installer and the repairmen should know that. It still would quit making ice, but I was able to knock the ice off the ice maker and it would start making ice again. The last 2 weeks, I am not able to get the frig to make ice.Back in April, the frig sounded like it was in the 500 road race. I called a repairman out and said it needed a evaporator cool kit. It 2 months for him to get it. He installed it and 2 weeks the terrible noise again was back. Called the same guy and he said he could install another kit, but it would continue to have problems. He said that Samsung does not allow the repairmen to know much more about the frig. He said that the refrigerator will eventually quit running. I needed to contact Samsung. I did that and he couldn’t find any repairman in my area. What a bunch of crap. The service is terrible. The frig is awful. I did write the CEO and President Tim Baxter and I didnt get an answer. I hate to pay over another $2000.00 to get another frig in less 4 years time.

I bought a Samsung Refrigerator in 2007. Nothing but problems. 4 Ice maker installed at almost $400.00 a piece. I call Best Buy. They were no help. No one in the town that I live will do repair work. They said they would not repair. Was not worth fixing. I found one repair place in the next state. They charge me $95.00 just to come to my house. I called Samsung after this problem persisted. I thought they would show a little sympathy, not a chance. That equals to an ice maker every 2 years I have owned this piece of junk. I have bought 2 Samsung tablets, a phone, a refrigerator and a range. You would think that consumer loyalty would matter but it doesnt. This fridge cost me $2415.00 plus $1600.00 for ice makers that is a total of $4015.00. This is a bad joke. The kicker is Samsung also makes the ice makers. They get your money every way you turn. I bought a Whirlpool fridge 28 years ago. It is still working and so is the ice maker. I should have known better, stick with what works. I will never waste my money on anything that has Samsung on it again.

Model RFGTHDRS - I bought this unit 3 years ago. Nearly every plastic bin on both side of the door broke for no reason and had to be replaced. About 2 years after the purchase, I noticed water collecting and then freezing underneath the large pantry drawer, to the point you cant open that drawer. I have to eventually take that whole drawer out and remove the ice buildup. Samsung wanted to charge me $450 for a service call, and they denied being aware of any problem like this. I see it is a very huge problem. I am completely dissatisfied with customer support and this product. I would advise anyone to stay away from Samsung refrigerators. I am also going to the U.S. gov recall website and post there. I hope everyone else does too. This will force a recall and cost them tons of money, which they should be responsible for.

I purchased my Samsung SM 26CF 4D refrigerator in July of 2014 for almost $1000. Now neither the refrigerator nor the freezer are working. In addition, it is kept at a residence I rent out but only had my first renter of the season in May. When he got there the entire contents were rotten and even after a cleaning, the interior smells horrible. I have called Samsung 3 different times only to be told each time someone will respond per their policy within 48 hours. That was 3 weeks ago. They also said they would escalate it to their executive team and they would call back within 48 hours. This means nothing as I last heard from them 6 days ago when I called them. To get me off track the rep said I needed my receipt, which I have had since the first time I called. He then said These things take time. Their customer services is horrible and they look for reasons not to fulfill their responsibilities. Please do not buy a Samsung appliance from them.

Samsung French Door Refrigerator - Model # RF263BEAESR/AA - BEWARE ----> BA
Samsung French Door Refrigerator - Model # RF263BEAESR/AA - BEWARE ----> BAD PRODUCT & BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE ----> SAMSUNG. $2,000 refrigerator with ice maker that has not worked properly since day one. Samsung warranty repaired twice in first year. Ice maker would work for a week or two then frost up and leak water on inside, collect then leak out doors making a mess all over floor. After several frustrating calls to Samsungs resolution department I received another service call outside of warranty (1 year) to replace several parts and defrost element. This did not fix the problem and ice maker frosted up a couple weeks later. Requested service AGAIN and waited 1 month without a response. Finally was told Samsung would not repair or service further and I should contact a service center to pay for another repair. Note: Service techs both told me the icemakers are a HUGE PROBLEM for Samsung. What a freaking joke! Samsung is making a piece of crap and is failing to support and/or correct this. HOPE AN ATTORNEY THAT BUYS ONE OF THEIR BAD REFRIGERATORS FILES A CLASS-ACTION SUIT. UNTIL THEN ------> DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG

I purchased a Samsung OTR microwave in August 2015. The microwave has stopped working. The front control panel is totally dead. It doesnt even display the time. I have spoken to 4 different people from Samsung Support and a Samsung authorized repair shop representative. All of these folks have asked me if there is a problem with the electrical outlet or the breaker. I have tried to explain that the breaker is fine and the unit is getting power. We plugged in other items into the outlet to confirm. Now I am being told that I have to uninstall the microwave in order for a technician to look at it. I am 65 year old woman and I do not have the ability to uninstall this appliance nor do I have anyone that can do this for me. Samsung says it is their policy not to uninstall the appliances. REALLY? Well it is not my policy to have an appliance break in 6 months! I also purchased a Samsung oven, dishwasher and refrigerator at the same time. Cant wait for all of them to break within the next year so I can try to figure out how to uninstall all of them?? This is ridiculous. Dont buy Samsung.

Bought the refrigerator (Samsung Model RS2556SH) on 10/15/2004 and, except for the ice maker and the fact that its a bit noisy, it has worked well ever since it was installed. 2014 I purchased model RF217ACRS refrigerator from Sears. Went well until I had problem when the freezer defrosted and lost all my food. Called Samsung and they gave me a company to come out. They came out and recharged the unit. Okay for a couple weeks and put dye to see if there was anymore leaks and to seal any leaks. About three weeks later freezer went to 57 degrees. I called and rep came out. He pulled lower freezer panel and he asked me when I replaced the coils. I told him it was a new fridge and only purchased in February of 2014. So as I see it I purchased a reconditioned fridge from Sears at full price. Still waiting to see what they are doing to do. I also made purchases of a stove and dishwasher at the same time. Took picture of the reconditioned coil also.

Since we purchased a Samsung refrigerator in 2002 we have had two different issues with the unit, the first related to a $450.00 electronics card that controlled the temperature. Lost everything in the refrigerator and was compensated by manufacturer for half the loss. The card was covered under warranty. Before the repairman left we were advised to purchase an extended warranty for $500.00 which covered parts and labor for the next 3 years. I declined. About a month ago the ice maker stopped working. After assessment by Samsungs repair service he said the only repair was replacement of the ice maker, of which they had many on the truck. Hmmm? Cost of parts and repair....$450.00. I said no and paid $50.00 for the house call and ordered the $120.00 ice maker from RepairClinic.com and replaced it myself in 10 minutes with the help of a Youtube video. My point... $3,000.00 Samsung refrigerators are designed to fail in two to three years so they can charge you $400.00 for the replacement of a $50.00 part. This is part of their business plan. You will be surprised how much money you can save by purchasing the part from an online parts supplier and getting installation instructions off Youtube.

On August 2, 2018 a complaint was filed with New Jerseys Better Business Bureau against Samsung. The same day the BBB forwarded my complaint to Samsung and to my surprise the same day we received a phone call from Jamie ** from the Office of The President. Mrs. ** set up an appointment with Service Quick to repair the product for August 6, 2018.On August 6, 2018 I received a phone call from the technician assigned to my repair. Before even showing up at my house he told me he didnt have the parts to repair the refrigerator. He also stated that he was unaware of the refrigerator not working. He stated that the compressor issue is outside of his expertise and would need to be rescheduled. We had to wait another week without a refrigerator and I also needed to request another day off of work to accommodate the repair.I reached out to Mrs. ** to receive guidance because of the above miscommunication. Several phone calls and e-mails were sent to Mrs. ** and were never answered. Why reach out to someone to help solve a problem if you are only going to ignore them. It makes the situation much worse than better. Our refrigerator was repaired on Monday August 13, 2018. On Wednesday August 15, 2018 we purchased groceries. We woke up this morning to the freezer failing two days after the repair and losing all groceries that were in the freezer for a second time. Service Quick is wanting us to wait additional time to schedule the repair.During the conversation with Mrs. ** it was expressed that this was a one time accommodation to repair the unit. This ended up being a sealed system repair per the ticket. This is covered under the five year manufactured warranty per the technician and also our paperwork. So I am not sure what the one time accommodation is and why this is being treated as if Samsung is doing us a favor by fixing the product which is still under their manufactured warranty.I have already taken two days off of work between two technicians and now am being asked to take an additional day off of work. I need your assistance in getting someone out here to finalize this repair and/or replacement. Paperwork was given to the repairmen showing the ice-maker had been replaced (4) times previously. Now it has been replaced five times. This certainly falls up under Californias lemon law. As a consumer I have presented the product to the manufacturer or its representative so they could diagnose the defect and repair it. Along with the duty, as a consumer I have the right to expect the product will be repaired honestly and expeditiously. I have left prior to today a total of three telephone messages and three e-mails for Mrs.**. All have remained unanswered.

My 2014 french door refrigerator, Model RF263BEAESR, began flooding below the pantry pan in the refrigerator section last spring. The first fix at our expense lasted about 2 weeks. Samsung agreed to pay for the 2nd fix, which has lasted for 3 months. Now it has the same problem again and they refuse to pay for the fix again. Their new policy is to only pay for repairs ONE time once an appliance is out of warranty, even if the repair is for the same problem that was obviously not fixed by previous repairs. Our repairmen told us that this model and others like it clearly suffer from a design defect, which Samsung refuses to admit is the case. Interestingly, turning off the icemaker prevents the periodic flooding. So our choices now are to pay every few months to have it fixed, to leave the icemaker off, or buy a new refrigerator. I will never buy any product from Samsung again.

The management company for my apartment purchased for me a Samsung Microwave model 18H704SFS in Sept 2015 from PC Richards. Since purchasing, it has stopped working three times and required service. The problem is with the sensors on the door which have been replaced only to fail again. My old cube microwave (thank God I saved it), which I had for over 15 years, never failed me... and I have had to bring it out of storage each time my new Samsung decided to stop functioning. Wonder of wonders, it still works perfectly unlike my nearly new Samsung.Even though I purchased a 5 yr warranty, all this costs me time in multiple appointments and return visits with parts ordered, not to mention all the phone calls. I just now turned to ConsumerAffairs to read Samsung microwave reviews, something I should have done before I bought Samsung as I see other persons with the very same complaint. I have a Samsung phone which I like. The microwave, however, seems to be a loser. Buyer beware!

We redid our kitchen in August 2012 and purchased three Samsung products - a stove, a refrigerator and a dishwasher. This review is about the dishwasher. Ive already submitted a review about our stove. We purchased our Samsung dishwasher, Model #DMT 300RFS/XAA in August 2012 for $515. Our first repair was on 22 Jan 2014, the float level sensor had to be replaced, and the cost was $208.21.The next problem happened on 6 May 2015. The case sensor and brake have to be replaced and the cost will be $316.24. If we have this repair done, and we wont, this substandard appliance will have cost us $515 (original cost) + $524.45 (2 x repairs) = $1039.45. Note: the repairs alone total more than the cost of the dishwasher. Weve now got a 225 lb. paperweight in our kitchen.

We bought the 345 Ltr RT 35 refrigerator in May 2010 in Aurangabad, Maharas
We bought the 345 Ltr RT 35 refrigerator in May 2010 in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, India. It was working well till May 2015. After which the lower door was not getting closed properly and defrost was not functional. After noting the problem, it was reported to the concerned authority and customer care number provided by Samsung in month of June. We were told to change the position, restart the refrigerator, which did not help. After persistent problem, it was again reported to customer care on 19th Sept. Again the executive told us to lift the lower door, but nobody visited our place. After repeated complaints, one of the technical person came to our place, changed the IC and told us that Your defrosting problem is solved, but door problem cannot be solved as the refrigerator purchase date is more than 5 years old. After pursuing the problem with customer care, we were told that the parts are not available and nothing can be done as company has stopped the production of said model. We have made several calls to customer care but the only answer we could get was, Sorry, we dont have the parts. Had it been before 5 years of date of purchase, we would have got the parts and not now after 5 years and 1 month; and now another version has come up from local dealer saying, It was the last piece of the lot. It was not told to us during purchase and now we are facing problems with the refrigerator, which are still unsolved and may not get solved considering the answers we are getting from customer care. Pathetic way of solving problems for a common man, who may have to put large part of his fortune into buying another refrigerator, which wont be Samsung anymore.

We got a Samsung Convection Range less than two years ago. It blistered on the bottom and the paint peeled off. It looks horrible. They won’t stand behind it saying it’s cosmetic. That is minor compared to the burning smell and smoke that goes through my kitchen and house when I use the oven. I can’t use the oven anymore for fear of a fire. They will not stand behind their faulty product!

We bought our dishwasher (Samsung stainless DMT610RHS) less than two years
We bought our dishwasher (Samsung stainless DMT610RHS) less than two years ago, in November 2012. Since we bought it, it has leaked (just a small puddle), it often smells, it stopped cleaning the dishes well (the spinner or impeller was blocked) and now the display only shows part of the numbers and the pump doesnt seem to be working. The bottom spinner doesnt spin or have water come out of it- so the dishes dont get clean. The leaking stopped after I cleaned around the seals, or maybe I just moved them as there wasnt really anything there to clean off. We took the spinner out and unblocked it. And just tonight we unscrewed everything at the bottom and cleaned it out. Guess what we found? A plastic part (from the cheap cutlery holders) lodged in the bottom impeller. Now it seems to be working but it is leaking again. And the display still looks funny. Only parts of the numbers light up. I was hesitant to buy Samsung, but my boyfriend paid for it and convinced me that it would be fine. I will never buy anything from Samsung again!! I have been looking for a new oven and always tell the sales person NOT SAMSUNG. Lowes and Samsung both told us that it is past the warranty so we would have to get it serviced. I cant believe they dont stand by their product. I bought a Kitchen Aid dishwasher on craigslist for $50 for my tenants and it is way better than this $600 one.

Bought this from SEARS just before Christmas around December 22 of 2010 to match the Samsung Stove that I bought for the new home that we had just moved into. Looked great and I was very pleased until it stopped working on Jan. 4th of 2012 (approximately). Throwing the error code SE and unplugging it and re-plugging it back in would allow it to work for maybe 5 minutes. I was so upset when I called Sears and they wouldnt even entertain the idea of coming out to service it unless I wanted to pay for the service call and whatever the problem was to fix. I realize that there is only a 1-year warranty on the microwave, but come on! It stopped working 2 weeks past the 1-year warranty end. Whatever happened to standing by what you sell? Its a shame that most of these products are made overseas and so cheaply and then sold for way more than they are worth. Its obvious to me that Samsung products are pretty much pieces of crap that arent even worth looking at. I encourage anyone considering one of their products to think twice. I am a very unhappy consumer and will tell everyone that I know to not even consider any product manufactured by Samsung. Yes, I could have purchased an extended warranty but come on people, 54 weeks an appliance works before breaking down and needing repair? That is absolutely absurd. I pretty much told Sears that they lost a customer and anyone else that I knew too. No wonder they are going out of business! They have terrible customer service and dont give a damn about the consumer. I had an independent service company come out to take a look, who, by the way did not charge me for the service call, as I had explained the situation to them. He checked it out and told me the motherboard would have to be replaced and that it would cost almost as much as I paid for the microwave in the first place. How disappointing that I have been sitting here with a microwave for the past 2 years that doesnt work because I dont exactly have the luxury of being able to just go out and purchase a new one every year or two. Im furious at Samsung for manufacturing such a substandard product and then knowing that it has problems, refused to do any kind of recall or offer to repair at no charge and also SEARS for being so not standing behind what they sell. Cheap labor = cheap materials = cheap products. Truly disgusting!

I bought a Samsung Refrigerator and stove in 2017 after we flooded with Harvey. So far I am pleased with the stove. The Refrigerator is another story. The icemaker makes very little ice, and it freezes up! When you first push the ice button, water squirts out first, getting all over. Ill take my old 15 year refrigerator over this new Samsung any day. Never going Samsung again.

SAMSUNG DOUBLE OVEN CONVECTION RANGE NE59J7850WS - After a kitchen remodel
SAMSUNG DOUBLE OVEN CONVECTION RANGE NE59J7850WS - After a kitchen remodel last year I updated my appliances and since we have such fantastic folks at our local Lowes store, that is where I went to buy them. First time in 20 years. I am sick that I had to do so now that I have had to experience complete failure in my new products. I went through 5 new stoves and returned them for one reason or another. Lowes was amazing in their desire to be sure I was satisfied. I eventually settled for the Samsung because I thought the small oven and the convection feature would be good.I am 62 years old and started cooking when I was 8. I have never in my entire life burned as many things as I have burned with this cook top in the past 4 months of ownership. I cannot control the temperature so I have to cook absolutely everything on the lowest setting and stand over the stove while it is cooking. The ovens just completely stopped working today and I have no idea why. Before the ovens quit working, the fans blew in my oven and overcooked half of the food I would bake and under cook the other side of it. I NEVER EVER get the stove top clean, EVER. I use the products made just for the smooth top and all it does is smudge. I am way too frustrated after 5 stoves and then spending what I consider a fortune on this stove to even consider calling service people if I will not be able to understand them. Unplugging and plugging back in did not work for me. Waiting for that class action suit for sure.

I purchased a new Samsung refrig 267 that has had a few service issues. The ice maker is very noisy and does not work smoothly, but the largest issue is the cooling system that leaks water and freezes under the cool pantry drawer. I had an authorized service agent come to fix the problem, but after an hour and a service charge, he said it was not repairable. Samsung will not stand behind the product and would not help in any way. Due the fact that they have thousands of unhappy product owners, I would hope that they would take responsibility and own up, even if it takes replacing the product at no charge. I understand the later models have new technology that eliminates the problem that thousands of current owners are stuck with.

We purchased this range NX58J770SS/AS on the first week of November 2018. That week I worked late all week and didnt use the oven. The next week went on vacation. So back Thanksgiving week, cooked the Turkey and after that may have used the oven 3 or 4 times. So on Dec 18 I decided to bake croutons, top part of oven 400 degree, with about 3 tablespoon of oil on a baking sheet. After 10 min. thought they were done, shut the oven off. Then decided to put them in again for more crunch, turned the oven on. Turned around and in seconds the smoke alarms go off, and look in the oven and blazing flames coming from oven. Turned oven off and thank God my husband had a fire extinguisher out in the garage! Smoke was bad and now white stuff everywhere. Of course called service in the morning, and told them the same story. They sent a repairman Dec 24, took pictures and video for the technician people. I didnt get an answer from them by the end of that week, so I called them to see what their answer was. Their answer was is cosmetically injured. Ask them what that meant, there was oil on the back part of the oven. I said first it was cooked off. And 3 tablespoon of oil would of not caused a blazing flames. So now I have an oven that was told not to use by the repairman, and the people we purchased the oven from. The person I talked to said that was their decision, and end of that story. First I cook for a living and never saw a brand new oven cause that type of flame!

Samsung electric slide-in range. First -- Samsung does not honor its warranties. Second -- in a period of 3 years, the left front burner cause a break in the glass in the same place while boiling water on 8, not high. After pressing Samsung relentlessly and being accused of lying, they finally replaced the top, but with no additional warranty. Their repair people here in Ill, Unique didnt even run diagnostics. Less than one year later the same burner caused the same break with the same configuration as stated above. I was across the room, no I didnt hit the glass and no Im not a liar. Third -- I did manage to set a hot dog on fire using the broiler. I let the fire burn out as trying to fix it would add oxygen and thats not a great idea. It burned out the oven altogether. The oven will no longer work at all. Finally -- as for operation --- If you lean on the control system at all -- say to lift a pot from the back burner, you will likely turn on another burner or turn your oven on or off without knowing it. Great product. So, after spending too much on an inferior product I am now in the position of having to spend even more money to purchase a new oven. One might also consider the battery and glass problems that Samsung has had with their phones. Inferior glass... Inferior sub-contractors (Unique)... Inferior claims dept. Dont do this to yourself.

Like so many, I purchased a French door Samsung refrigerator and had nothing but trouble. I have read so many reviews and complaints about the Samsung refrigerators, as well as the poor service Samsung provides. What I know is that many larger retailers such as Home Depot and Lowes who sell the product are as guilty as Samsung for selling and promoting a product that has proven to be a consumer failure. I note that there is a class action lawsuit initiated in the U.S. I propose we do the same in Canada as well as hold retailers who sell the product responsible too. If you are in Canada and have had nothing but grief from your Samsung refrigerator, please email me at **.

When our refrigerator quit after 24 years, I was excited to receive our new Samsung refrigerator. The unit was on sale, but my particular unit had been mislabeled in the store, so the salesman gave me the listed price. Perfect! Well, less than 8 months later, the ice maker just quit - on the day of our Thanksgiving dinner. I read all the literature and watched the videos via the QR Codes. My husband and I both reset the ice maker and waited 24 hours. We changed the water filter, even though no indicator light suggested it needed changing. My first call to Samsung left me beyond frustrated. When I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was told no one was available. This technician (I use this word loosely) had me repeat everything that I had already done. Then she finally told me to turn the ice maker off on the door panel and wait 90 minutes for it to start making ice again. When I asked how it would possibly make ice when its off, she just kept repeating her instructions. What did I do? I turned the ice maker off. I wondered if this was some hard reset that wasnt listed in any material. Then came call number 2. I turned the ice maker on and gave it a little time. Nothing. I told the second Samsung person what the first person had me do. He said, Well, your ice maker wont work if its turned off. You think? He started asking me to do everything again...checking filter, resetting machine. He then asked me the temp settings. I told him -2 for freezer and 36 for the fridge. He said I needed to change the fridge to 37. When I asked him why setting my fridge one degree warmer would help, he had no answer. He then told me to wait 2-3 hours and call them back if it was not working. I said, Look, Ive been doing the same procedures for over 24 hours now. Cant you schedule someone to come fix this? He then informed me that it was procedure.Call number 3. When the third technician started to ask me questions, I cut her off. I explained that I wasnt going to repeat everything again for a third person, especially when my husband and I had already performed the same steps the day before. She apologized and told me that someone would be in my area on Friday, but the service department would call and confirm. I received a call from their service department. It was an automated message, asking me to wait. When nothing happened after several minutes, I hung up. On the second call, I decided to put my phone on speaker and go about my tasks. After 30 minutes, no one had picked up! I then called them back. After a few calls, I finally reached someone. I was told that they did not have me down for service for Friday and that the next available day would be the next Thursday. So, we are now waiting to see if someone will actually show for Thursdays appointment. I cant believe that something is broken in such little time. I usually read reviews before purchasing any big ticket items. I didnt with this purchase. When your fridge goes out, you simply go out and get one, preferably one that can be delivered quickly. I wont make this mistake again, and I definitely will not be purchasing a Samsung! I dont see how this company is going to stay in business with poor quality and poor service.

After 6 months the ice maker would not give whole cubes. This got progressively worse until all I got was crushed ice. Samsung replaced Ice Maker but, again, problem came back. By now refrigerator was out of warranty and Samsung would not do anything! This is probably design defect as so many others have same problem and Samsung cannot correct it. In addition. I also have spot about 3/4 in. long below ice maker where the paint is coming off and, again, Samsung says its cosmetic and not covered. Samsung Microwave SMH8165ST - 1 mo ago a potato caught fire on the baked potato setting. Samsung stated I was out of warranty because microwave was purchased 2 yrs ago. I refused an out of pocket service call. Samsung called back 1 wk later asked about any personal or property damage & asked if I would want someone to come out free of charge to repair or replace (if irreparable). After 3 repair visits (not counting the 4 appts that were cancelled/rescheduled after the 2 hr wait EACH TIME). Samsung stated the repair guy had to come out again to troubleshoot w/ a Samsung engineer on the phone. I explained that the repair guy did that @ the last appt, Samsung stated there was no record of it. I also stated that I was aware of the recall involving buttons on the panel sticking. They said I had to make another appt. I refused, spoke to another 2 managers & after 55 min on the phone was offered $130 voucher/check. I was told that was what they could offer w depreciation on the microwave for the last 2 yrs. AND that the microwave costs about $190, so it wasnt so bad. The microwave costs $240 plus. Repairman told me to unplug it for 3 days and let it defrost or thaw out and try to restart, and if that doesnt work he will come look at it. Also the ice maker just keeps pushing ice out the top of the bin causing it to break the bin - $99 for replacement. I paid $2500.00 for this appliance and I am very disappointed with the Samsung product. I will never purchase another Samsung appliance nor will I recommend the product to friends or family. Samsung sent out a service memo to the companies who sell their refrigerator in June of 2015 advising them of existing problems with the refrigerator. Lowes sold me a Samsung refrigerator without telling me about the existing problems or the service memo. Samsung will not stand behind their product. The only way we, as consumers, can fight back is to boycott the company and the stores that sell their products. Consumers are fighting back... Samsung Model RF32FMQDBSR/AA. I purchased the Samsung 4 door refrigerator around 8 months ago. I follow all the instructions regarding the ice maker when I went on vacation. When I got back home again I check my owners manual and follow the instructions with the ice maker. After 24 hours there was no ice make yet. I check the manual again to make sure I did everything I was supposed to do. Once again I waiting and no Ice. After giving it a week and having the Ice maker not making any Ice, I contact Samsung. The lady at the phone ask me for the model number, my phone, and located the account then she proceed to asked me what was the issue. I explained it to her that the Ice maker was not working that I try everything in the manual but it did not work. I also explain that I follow the instructions to removed the Ice bucket, however the bucket wasnt coming out, at all. She ask me some questions about if the Ice light was lit up on the door and if said off the Ice maker wasnt going to make ice. No kidding Sherlock. Im not a moron. I calmly explain to her that after a week of not having Ice I turn it off. No sense on having the feature on if is not working. She then advised me that if it was something they cant fix by phone but they needed to send a repair person then I was going to get charge for the visit. But if the repair person was needed then the visit was free of charge. I was told that a service representative was going to called me within 2 business days. She proceed to gave me the service number reference that I needed to gave the tech (**). As she told me I received a call from the service tech to schedule the appointment. However the service tech was from Oklahoma and Im in Pennsylvania. The tech was sorry for the misunderstanding, it wasnt his fault. I contacted Samsung again and I explain to the male representative the issue with the address and I gave him my reference number. The gentlemen proceed to tell me that my refrigerator didnt have warranty. Wait what happens in 3 days? I explained that it when I spoke with the lady that gave me the reference number my refrigerator had warranty. Well Im not one to argue with customer service representative since they are provided a script on what to said. I told him Just give me the tech number please. He did gave me a service representative from Reading PA. I called them to schedule an appointment and when I gave the lady who answer the phone the reference number. She proceed to tell me I needed to provide for them the receipt of purchased, that the visit was going to be $70 plus labor and parts. I again, didnt want to argue another customer service representative. I make the schedule, however after thinking about it I cancel it. Who knows what they are going to charge me. What happen to the warranty? This refrigerator is Top Samsung Product with a cost of almost 4,000 dollars. If Im going to paid Im choosing who I let in my house. I have Samsung products all over my house since I believed to stick with one company, washer, dryer, phone, microwave on and on and on. I have never contacted Samsung for service. The first time that I need service They give me a hard time, thats not good customer service. Since Im selling my house and moving out of state soon, instead of paying a repair person I will sell ALL my Samsung electronic and start new with another company. Before you spend that much money on a Samsung product make sure they are not going to give you the runaround.

We purchased a Samsung glass cooktop stove. Three months after our purchase the glass top cracked. The crack occurred the second time I used the burner. I noticed the crack the next morning when I went to dust the cooktop. A KitchenAid repair person told us, that this happens occasionally with glass cooktops. Glass can have bubbles, etc... This repair is covered under their warranty. Samsung however considers this physical damage and their warranty does not cover physical damage. Nothing bumped the stove or fell on top of the cooktop. We have had a glass cooktop for twenty years, so it took me a while to understand what this meant.Regardless of what is wrong or if there is a defect in the product that results in physical damage, then it is not warranted. I am amazed that they can get away with this. I will NEVER buy another Samsung product and plan to report this to every consumer protection agency I can reach. We had to purchase an extended warranty ($388.95) and have a subcontractor come out and repair it. At the time he said it was a known issue and more than likely it would happen again. Sure enough 10 months later we are having the same issue. A different subcontractor came out today and had to order the parts. This service tech said it was a known issue with Samsung refrigerators and more than likely it would happen again. I called the extended warranty Samsung Protection Plus and was told the part would only be guaranteed for 30 days and referred me to the main Samsung customer service. I spent over an hour on the phone, mostly on hold only to be told by the Executive Customer Relations Department that there is nothing they can do for me. The only way we can have repairs covered is to purchase another extended warranty (another $388.95). I will never purchase another appliance from Samsung.

We purchased a new Samsung (model RSH7PNRS) side-by-side refrigerator with ice and water through the door. This is supposed to be Samsungs latest and greatest design. From the start, the ice maker has never worked properly! It makes ice but will not dispense it. In less than 2 days, the ice chute froze up. Samsung and the dealer, Omni electronics, refused to fix the unit, or give a refund. It’s such a huge disappointment! Unfortunately, we paid cash, and have no recourse without going to the court, and bearing those expenses. We may picket by the dealer’s showroom! Dont buy Samsung products!

I bought a new dishwasher model DW80R2031 in Dec 2020. I HATE this dishwasher. The prongs on the racks are angled and so close together that I cannot fit my dishes in. On the top rack my glasses do not fit in the shall rows and need to sit over one or two of the prongs. Because of that they knock against each other during the wash cycle. I am surprised that none of them have broken yet. On the bottom rack the prongs are so close together that the platters and lids to my pans do not fit unless I bend the prongs. Because all of the prongs are angled juice pitchers and pans have to just balance on top and hope they dont move during the cycle. I have to wash lots of dishes by hand because I cant fit get them to fit in the dishwasher. If I could take it back I would. I will never buy another Samsung appliance again.

We purchased a new Samsung refrigerator in July, 2015 and immediately noticed loud popping and cracking noises. I contacted Samsung and was told this was normal due to our purchase of a model with automatic defrost. (Is there a manufacturer that still makes a manual defrost refrigerator?) No help here, so later I began a Live Chat on Samsungs website to again register my complaint. I was eventually given a link to request a service technician to come and examine the refrigerator. The link failed and I lost all contact with the rep. I then called the service request department and had a long conversation with a nice lady that again confirmed that the noise was normal. I donated a 20 year old Whirlpool that I wish I could get back and dump this Samsung. Never will I ever consider buying any other Samsung product.

My refrigerator stopped working so I called the number on the refrigerator. Thinking even though it was out of warranty No one better than having a Samsung service pro to fix my Refrigerator. So I made the call on Friday the 14th to set up a service. I was told someone would contact me within 48 hours. On Monday 4 days later I still have not been contacted so I called Samsung again. At this time they informed me that I should have been contacted by service company on the 14th. They gave me the number to call the service company myself so I did. The service company informed me that they had informed Samsung on Friday the 14th that I was out of their service area but Samsung never contacted me to let me know. The Samsung call center overseas was very unprofessional and would not even let me to talk to a supervisor then proceeded to tell me that my warranty was over just call someone else. So now on Tuesday Samsung informs me there are no service companies in my Zip code. So I have waited 5 days to get my Refrigerator repaired and now Im calling Sears. After buying ice for 5 days trying to salvage my food its all being thrown away. I will never purchase a Samsung Again only because of the poor service center.

I purchased a Samsung dishwasher 18 months ago. I have had issues almost since I purchased it. You turn it on and it runs about 15 seconds and then quits. I use to be able to start it three times and then it would run a complete cycle. Now it doesnt work at all. It cost over $600 and it was even purchased during Black Friday so it was a great deal, yeah right! Customer service is absolutely no help, all they offer to do is sell you an extended warranty. This is an ongoing issue, it should be a recall. Seems like this should have been fixed, I will never buy Samsung again. I also work at Home Depot so guess what... I will make sure I share my experience with customers, since Im in the appliance area. Karma...

We purchased a refrigerator on July 29 2017 MODEL RF26HFENDSR/AA and started having noise problems shortly thereafter. This purchase was for a property we were retiring to and we were not there all the time for the first 7 months. Once we moved in there we noticed loud banging noises coming from the fridge at random times. These noises were so loud they woke us in the night.I initially called Samsung about this in early June of 2018. They sent a technician out but the sound did not happen while he was here. As we were in a remote area it took over 4 weeks to get him to come out. After this I was constantly on the phone trying to find out what they would do next and they finally asked me to send them an audio file of the sound. Which I did. They in turn sent it to Samsung and Samsung tells me this was normal. I called them several times after that and then in Oct they refused to even talk to me as they said it was now not in warranty. At that time I pointed out that the problem was there before the warranty was out and they said it didnt matter it was not their problem now. At that point I called Lowes where I purchased the fridge as I had a 4 year extended warranty with them. They sent the same company out again and the Technician was here all of 10 minutes, changed a setting on the fridge and left. This did not solve the problem. After numerous calls to both Lowes and the repair company of Lake City furnishings in Williams lake they finally came back with an email from Samsung saying that the noise was something that happens to only a few fridges and will disappear after 1 or possibly more than 2 years. This is not an acceptable resolution to me and I feel I have wasted countless hours on the phone with Samsung, Lake City and Lowes to no proper resolution.

DMT300 Dishwasher - Low water level error. Over and over since the machine was just over a year old. Most problematic appliance I have ever owned. Can fix it by cleaning out the level switch assembly. I have done this 3 times. Had to pay for a manual to learn to press HEAVY, DELICATE, and POWER together to get into the diagnostic mode. The manual supplied with the dishwasher is pretty much useless.

When I tried to register the product at the Samsung site, it kept kicking me out to correct non-existent errors, giving me the suspicion they didnt want to accept my information or to honor the warranty. I got them on the phone and they cheerfully set-up an appt. with the only Samsung service available in a 75 mile radius, and I live just outside Chicago! Not sure what had happened to my brand new dishwasher, I decided to call the service outlet 12 miles from my home to inquire about the possibility of it being due to bad electric service. They informed me that the visit alone would be $138! I since realized it was Samsungs fault because I have 4 other electronic appliances that have been around for 5 years, trouble-free.But I also decided to Google trouble with this dishwasher and immediately found a website called: Consumer Complaints & Reviews. Apparently, I wasnt the only one who discovered too late, that the most important part of selling me a Samsung dishwasher is getting me to purchase it... Of the top 125 complaints, there are about 20-30 Best Buy customers. The typical breakdown concerns the Chinese electronic control panel which is what my problem is, according to the trouble code. The dishwasher will recover after about 4-8 hours, begins a new wash cycle and then a few minutes later, stops and blinks the LEDs.Ive had it for 6 months and used it 10 times. I have the original box of Powerball tablets recommended by Samsung. I live alone and usually wash a lot by hand instead of wasting energy, soap, etc. Im presently at home with a back injury and no dishwasher! I can only stand for about 2 to 4 minutes and Im still paying for the broken Samsung. So far, the cost is $50.00 per wash load!I called Best Buy for help. I wanted to trade this for a new dishwasher of a different brand and they offered to take the unit away for me, while there, delivering my new purchase! I got angry and said, I couldnt find out it was defective before your time limit. I dont have that many dishes. They asked me if Id bought the extended service plan and I got more angry. I said: Once you get it out the door, it’s next customer? What happened to standing by your product? Youre in this business, obviously, you know this is junk, why is it on your floor to sell to me?According to these bad reviews at Consumer Complaints & Reviews, Samsung had denied, blamed and dragged their feet at the customers expense for months at a time in many cases. So my worst fears about trying to clean my dishes with my injury are coming true! WHY Samsung? WHY Best Buy? I hope you have the decency to allow this review to be posted here, for the sake of your remaining customers, because Ive taken myself off your mailing list and cutting up your so-called: Elite membership! Just in case you censor this review, Ill be posting it all over the internet, everywhere I can, until my undeserved punishment is repealed by you or Samsung.

I purchased a Samsung oven just over a year ago. I don’t bake very often so I did not notice the oven has a problem with the temperature. When setting the oven temp. from the get go the panel reads 150 degrees. When the oven ready alarm beeps, the panel displays the desired temp., but the actual oven temp is over 100 degrees less. The oven continues to heat towards the set temperature and reaches it @ 4 minutes later. After & 3 minutes the temp starts to decrease, eventually decreasing by 20 degrees, a temp that it then maintains. I had wondered why the few attempts to bake a cake or two muffins were not successful. This oven is awful and I am stuck with expensive repairs. Don’t buy Samsung appliances! They are truly awful.

Had the Samsung refrigerator a little over a month and the ice maker stopped working. Called customer service who ran me through 15 minutes of tests then said a technician would call within 48 hours to come out and repair the fridge. Two days later after not getting a call, I called Samsung again and was informed that the last person I talked to must have forgot to assign a technician. I was then instructed to run through the same 15 minutes of tests and told (once again) a technician would call within 48 hours. The next day a Samsung representative called and while I assumed he was the technician calling to set up an appointment, he told me that no, he was in the product dept and was just calling to see if my ice maker was still broken. The only purpose for his call was to inform me that it would be ANOTHER 48 hours for a technician to call me.When I asked if the technician would call over the weekend, he responded that some work weekends, some dont. I asked to speak to his manager and he told me his manager was unavailable. Three days later and seven days after my initial call a local technician finally called me. He instructed me to push buttons on my freezer that I did not have and besides the fact that he sounded 12, he was completely confused as to which model I had and told me an engineer would call me back. When I asked how long that would take he said he didnt know, the engineer was in the field. As of the time of this review my freezer is still broken, there is no set time for the technician to come out and I have wasted my time on the phone with this horrible, incompetent company. I will NEVER buy another Samsung product again and can honestly say this is one of the WORST companies I have ever dealt with.

On December 15, 2015 I purchased a Samsung French Door Refrigerator. Less than one month after delivery the ice maker quit working, was totally frozen up from leaking water. I purchased this item from Best Buys Pacific. The Geek Squad replaced part of the ice maker but did not remedy the program. Upon searching the internet the above was a known problem with this particular refrigerator. In fact Samsung had issued a technical bulletin on how to fix this problem. In the interim I purchased an extended warranty from Samsung. The same initial problem reoccurred in early December 2016. I took my complaint to the appliance manager at Pacific in Best Buy. He told me this was a Samsung problem. It has now been six weeks and several visits from repair companies the ice maker has not been fixed. It still freezes up, leads water and stops making ice cubes. I was directed to the regional representative for Samsung. Keeps sending out a different repair company without results. Needless to say I am totally frustrated with Samsung and their defective product. I have asked Samsung to replace the refrigerator but upon examining a more recent model the same problem was visible. Samsung continues to sell a defective product. I will be filing complaints with the Texas and Federal lemon laws to try and rectify the above problems. Needless to say I cannot recommend Samsung to anyone.

I purchased a Samsung refrigerator in 2016. I have since had to manually defrost the coil and fan three times and as I am writing this, the fan is running noisily and tomorrow I will have to pull off the back panel behind the shelves and defrost it yet again with a hairdryer because this build up keeps the refrigerator from cooling. I am a disabled man living mostly on a fixed income. The refrigerator cost roughly $3000 which took me a year to pay off. I called customer service and the rep told me that he could do nothing about it. I asked to speak to his supervisor to see what recourse I had if any and was met with extreme hostility. He outright refused to resolve my issue or offer anything helpful. Samsung needs to teach its people what professional customer service looks like. I did not appreciate the condescending tone of their customer support agents. I also work for the largest home goods and building material retailer in the United States and have actively informed customers not to purchase any Samsung appliance until they improve the quality of their product and customer support. I would suggest that others provide the same service to family and friends who need to spend their hard earned money on a new appliance. Recently, we needed a new dishwasher and purchased a GE which my wife and I are very pleased with. Presently, we will never buy any Samsung product whether it be a household appliance, phone, tablet, TV or anything else. After the “convenient” freezer door handle, being only supported through plastic, broke off for the second time and after having manually defrosted the fan, coil, and heating element for the third time in two weeks, I bit the bullet and bought a new fridge. It seems you have to purchase the entire freezer drawer to fix one plastic piece. By the way, the Whirlpool I purchased has performed great with all the features of the Samsung for about 40% less cost. I have just finished writing a rather lengthy letter to the consumer protection agency documenting the numerous issues and failed CS conversations. I advise anyone thinking of doing the same be sure to document all calls (i.e. date, time, rep name, etc.). Take pictures with your phone of all visible issues including the rust spots your stainless probably has because of its apparent poor quality. I am hopeful someone may read this who can help...

We made the ultimate mistake by purchasing this Samsung Storm Wash dishwasher. The dishwasher smells and constantly traps mold in the dishwasher & on the dishes. After less than 1 year the dishwasher hardly cleans at all, the glasses look worse after being washed in dishwasher than before. There is a gross film left on all dishes despite using rinse agent religiously. Silverware has to be rewashed before using. I hand wash more dishes than the dishwasher washes! So frustrating & Im stuck with this piece of junk till I can afford a new one. Very disheartening. Samsung has no care despite emails sent to them. They refuse to help & refuse to take product back. Finally Samsung informed him that he needed to replace the ice maker and the board at the same time in order for it to work. It lasted about 9 months and is broken again. During that time it would stop making ice for a few days (I like to say it went on vacation which I cant afford to do because I have to keep repairing my stupid ice maker!!). I purchased our Samsung French door refrigerator on 10/1/2011 through Lowes. At that time I also purchased their extended warranty; however, it expired on 10/1/2014, just 5 days short of the failure of our refrigerator. Lowes Service was very kind and immediately transferred me to Samsung, as they told me the sealed system would be covered by the manufacturer for 5 years. The representative at Samsung (after speaking and being transferred to a few different people) told me they would have a Samsung technician contact me within 24-48 hours. This was on 10/10/2014. I did not receive a phone call during this period; however, I did receive an email today, 10/14/2014. The email stated that they do not have a technician in my area, and wanted me to contact them via the supplied number to find a way to accommodate me. I was assigned a new reference number and transferred to multiple people until finally getting to speak to someone in the Executive Customer Relations Department. This person told me that Samsung couldnt repair my refrigerator due to my location, but that they could offer a pro rated buy back of it. I was told to email a copy of my original receipt to an email address they supplied me. I was told to write my name, phone number, and the most recently assigned transaction number on the receipt before emailing it to them. They told me that I would get a response within 2 business days of sending the receipt, but that I should call them if I do not get a response. The buy back is supposedly pro rated at 10% per year of ownership.

They said we would have to wait until the lockdown had passed. We did. For 3 months. As the state has now reopened, we contacted them to see when we could get the repair. They advised us they no longer had a repair service in the area. We then asked for a replacement, they never actually responded to that despite our insistence of a repair or replace, instead they offered to refund us the amount we paid for the dishwasher. Because of the discount we received for purchasing this is as a set, the amount they are willing to refund is only half the cost of a replacement dishwasher. This would force us to have to pay out an additional $400 after going 3 months without a working product, this is unacceptable. For the first 3 months I was cordial and patient, but this past week has brought out a whole different side. I am beyond frustrated with their customer service, and I do not think it is right that I would have to pay them any more money to get what should have been included in my initial kitchen package. We got their Tuscan Stainless Steel set and it is an exclusive color only to Samsung, we would have no choice but to give them more money or risk losing home resell value for having a mismatched set.

We purchased a Samsung kitchen bundle (microwave, refrigerator, oven and dishwasher) from Home Depot. A week after installation the microwave caught fire and created a burned hole on the inside of the microwave. Contacted Samsung and have been spinning for 2 weeks now as they will not replace this unit, only repair it. At this point we paid for a BRAND NEW unit, 2 weeks ago, and we have zero confidence in the reliability and safety of this unit being repaired. Samsung has been very unresponsive to our request. Cannot believe that big corporations can treat people in this way. Taking our hard earned money and not replacing like for like.

So I have barely had my new Samsung dishwasher a year and now I know why they only cover it a year. Called them because it isn’t working, flashing light, wont run a full cycle and now waiting several days to have someone call me to set up someone coming out to look at it. Wish I had gotten another brand.

Anyone purchasing a refrigerator should not have to worry about plastic bin
Anyone purchasing a refrigerator should not have to worry about plastic bins cracking under little to no stress because of inferior manufacturing. Customer service just wants to sell extended warranty at cost of over $385 which would not even cover the bins. Refrigerator less than 3 years... cheap warranty and looking to make money off hardworking, previously loyal customers... no more... Stay away unless want more maintenance costs with inferior warranty and parts!

We purchased a set of Samsung kitchen appliances. Unfortunately, we purchased these before we moved into our home and shortly after we began to use the appliances, the warranty on some of the appliances had expired. Fortunately, the microwave had a longer warranty and we were able to have that fixed without charge. The dishwasher on the other hand had been one issue after another. We have had to make 3 service calls at our expense and the problem is not yet fixed. We have already spent enough to have purchased another dishwasher - and all we have to show is a broken dishwasher that can not wash a load of dishes. Very disappointed with this dishwasher and after reading the reviews of water soaked floors, I am afraid to risk having it looked at for the 4th repair... Probably better off to just purchase a new dishwasher, but what a waste of money this has been.
