We bought this refrigerator at Lowes Dec 2012. Sale price was $1400.00 plus tax. Our problems started about 2 years after we bought the unit. Every 2-3 months this refrigerator will start making a terrible loud noise that will stop when you open the door. After read other reviews we realized that we have to take out all of food and defrost this freezer overnight due to a build up of ice on the fan in the refrigerator side. Not only is it annoying to have to do this plus losing so much food due to this problem. I will never buy another Samsung Appliance! Im sure Im not the only consumer out there that feels this way!

Samsung’s idea of customer service is “3 – 5 business days and someone will call you”. At this point we have been without a functioning refrigerator (I consider a refrigerator to be a basic need in this day and age) for 14 days! The specifics are below: A service tech was sent to ‘fix’ the problem one week after we first reported the problems to Samsung. The fix/part replacement (2 different parts were tried) did not correct the problem. The Tech talked with Samsung’s technical support from our home and said, My office will call you on Monday (9 days after the report to Samsung). On Wednesday (11 days after the report to Samsung) the same tech is back with a 3rd different part. Still not the answer. At this point, it is determined that we need a whole new refrigerator (current unit is only 6 months old). The Tech entered a ticket into the system AND once again it is 3 – 5 days before someone will call us. Not, 3 – 5 days and you will have a new refrigerator – NO, 3 – 5 days and someone will talk with you about what can be done. Now it has been exactly 14 days since our Samsung refrigerator has worked. Still we have not received a call from anyone from Samsung regarding the solution to our problem. This was my first Samsung refrigerator; it will be my last.

Samsung being the best brand name in the market and having a good reputation, we had purchased refrigerator on 24th February, 2015. Model no: 45H5809SLSerial no- Price: 48800/- Merchant name - ALFA Vile- parle West. With reference to the above subject the day from when the day from when the refrigerator had been installed its not functioning properly, the vegetable tray which needs to keep the vegetables fresh is forming Ice and spoiling all the vegetables. There are several occasion wherein the technician have visited our residence to check it but rather than getting a solution for the issue they advise us how to keep and store the vegetables. The main issue of the technicians, whoever visits is that they cant resolve the issue but in return they keep advising us how to use the refrigerator, seems like its the first time that we have purchased the refrigerator and we are unaware of using it.Very sad and disappointed experience that we have faced in these months due to the Samsung refrigerator purchased. I would request the company either youll resolve the issue ASAP or else replace the refrigerator. I have always experienced a good customer satisfaction from Samsung, hoping that youll keep it up to the mark. Kindly please revert ASAP. Thanking you.

Model #: RF261BEAEBC/AA (French Door, Freezer on Bottom, NO ice or water dispensers in the door). I have had to call Samsung services and repair four (4) times for my Samsung Refrigerator in the first thirteen (13) months of operation. Every call has been about the ice maker. I escalated this recurring issue to the executive review board (or whatever they call it) stating that I must have a defective refrigerator (or least a defective ice maker). I said they need to address this issue by replacing the whole refrigerator or issue a recall of some parts or something because this is just not acceptable. The response I got back from Samsung is that this is not cause for any special consideration and that normal repair and service should continue. Their response is what really bothers me. I mean I fully understand that if you make thousands of appliances (or cars or whatever), there will be a couple that will be defective. I have no problem with that - just own up to it and resolve the issue for good. I also understand that no matter how much you test sometimes things can be missed. I have had cars recalled for certain issues, you take your car to the dealer, they resolve the issue (no cost to you) and all is good. I mean it is very weird for them to think that four (4) service requests in first thirteen (13) months of operation is not cause for alarm or at least a closer inspection.I actually talked to the last repairman that came out to fix the problem. He said that he sees a lot of repairs on certain models of Samsung Refrigerators that was/is related to frozen water line for the ice makers. So much so that Samsung did a recall and replaced the heating element (or whatever) to keep ice from forming in water line to the ice maker. He said it was a different model than mine and hence no recall for my specific model number.I suspect that this is the issue for me as well, as water is not making it to the ice tray. I could be wrong though and freely admit something else could be the issue. With this type of customer service, it will make me seriously consider any Samsung products in the future. I am not upset so much with an appliance that has issues. Hey, I dont like it and wish otherwise, but the stick-my-head-in-the-sand-and-hope-this-goes-away attitude from Samsung is really bothersome.

We have called them and they came out & said it would cost 300.00 to fix... This fridge is only 2 yrs old & @ 1800.00, they should cover it. There are only the 2 of us using this thing. If a family of 4 would have bought it - would have only lasted a yr. Very, very bad product!!!

Samsung informed a company called USSI to repair my fridge. USSI charged me $129.00 to have someone come out to diagnose the problem. They then charged me $438.09 for parts and labor. Nobody ever came back to fix the fridge. Kept getting a runaround from the technician and the company. Nobody had the courtesy to call me and tell me whats going on. Also, Samsung was of no help. They kept giving me the standard Im sorry youre having a problem. Had to get a local repair company to fix my fridge.

Many parts have been installed in an attempt to fix the problems but nothing has worked. Lowes is not standing behind this product and we cannot get any help from Samsung. We have lost tons of food and are very frustrated.

Please do not purchase this refrigerator. I purchased this refrigerator and did not have it for two years before the ice maker went out, which was the start of the problems. I called Samsung for repair and they sent a repair tech out and he replaced the front panel with the touch buttons. I asked, would that cause the ice maker to stop functioning? And he said yes. So it began to make ice for about 6 months then the ice maker stop making ice again along with the freezer going out. So, I called Samsung again and they sent another repair tech out and he replaced the motherboard which did not fix the issue. So I called Samsung again and they sent out another repair tech this time. He went into the freezer and replaced a small cable and told me that it should be fine for 24 to 48 hrs. So, this did not fix the problem which completely made me upset with the refrigerator and regret ever buying Samsung brand and will never purchase another product other than a cell phone. Clearly, they need to get out of the refrigerator business.

I had purchased an extended warranty at the time of purchase, so I contacted HH Gregg. The service people came but could not say why the glass broke, so they ordered a new glass top. Since they found nothing wrong with the stove, is it going to happen again. It was fortunate - no one was injured.

I purchased a Samsung French door stainless steel refrigerator in August 20
I purchased a Samsung French door stainless steel refrigerator in August 2012, at Best Buy for 2500.00. I have never been so frustrated with any of my appliances as I am with this one. All of my Kenmore appliance lasted 25 years with maybe two repairs. After the first year 4 of the six door trays cracked, and recently the freezer handle broke off when I opened the freezer door. At this point the only thing I like about the refrigerator is the chime that sounds when I leave a door open. Every time I see a Samsung in the store I feel sick knowing that some unsuspecting person may buy one. So far... knock on wood, I have had no problem with the cooling system or ice-maker, but if and when I do I will buy a new one from a trusted brand. This has been the worst choice of an appliance that I ever made. Do not purchase this product and subject yourself to frustration!

Machine has never cleaned dishes from day one and now it needs 600.00 worth of repairs. A fault code 7E keeps being logged and that will take a drive motor and circuit board replacement. Had service tech out twice while still under warranty for inability to wash dishes properly and they could never find a problem. Now the warranty is expired. It logs this water reflector problem and the parts are covered under warranty, but will cost me 250.00 labor to fix this piece of junk. I should have bought the Bosch instead. Very disappointed in performance of product purchased from what I thought was a reputable company. Ill never buy Samsung anything again.

On 8/11/2010, I bought a Samsung 264 L capacity fridge from Electrical Disc
On 8/11/2010, I bought a Samsung 264 L capacity fridge from Electrical Discounters in Port Augusta. In about Aug 2012, my fridge broke down. No worries, Samsung took about 2 weeks to repair using a local technician. The local technician was very hesitant to take on any more Samsung warranty claims as he has had problems in the past. He was kind enough to replace the timer defroster at the back of the fridge. I lost over $300 worth of food. In the end of October, my fridge broke down again. I expressed my concern as it is a 2-year warranty coverage that expired on 8/11/12. Samsung acknowledged this (apparently noted this) because as far as I am aware, there is only one fridge technician in Port Augusta, hence my cause for concern. The problem - exactly the same as the first time it broke. Again, the timer was replaced after another 2 weeks without a working fridge. I was never contacted by Samsung. I have initiated the calls and contact on every occasion. You can imagine my frustration when on 26 December 2012, items in my fridge were growing mold and my ice cream in the freezer was almost liquid (semi-soft). I refused to believe so I waited a day before reporting it thinking maybe there had been a power outage that I did not know about overnight. I reported the fault on either 27th or 28th December to Samsung. Samsungs solution - you need a technician to look at it. It is exactly the same problem as the 1st and 2nd time. And now the technician refuses to play any further part in dealing with my fridge or Samsung. As far as I am aware, there are no other fridge technicians in Port Augusta. The closest would be Whyalla or Port Pirie. I struggle to imagine them making a single trip for my Samsung fridge only. I have since called Samsung 4 times inquiring as to my status as I have never received a phone call from them updating me on my status. I was informed that a technician would need to examine the fridge and now, after just getting off the phone with them, they advise that a technician will look at repairing the fridge. I have expressed my desire at having the fridge replaced but now that no technician in Port Augusta is willing to deal with Samsung, I am left at a loss. The replacement of a fridge leaves me inevitably frustrated as I am concerned I will be given another dodgy Samsung fridge with no one to repair it. I have made Samsung aware of these concerns to which they note but never contact or update and to be told that a technician is looking at repairing my fridge (which has broken down 3 times in the past 6 months) is upsetting.I have given Samsung ample opportunity to update me and liaise with me but as you can see, my frustrations are continually growing as I now do not want a Samsung fridge. I would like my money back as they are not offering me a suitable alternative. I was advised by email on Jan. 4 that a case manager has been assigned to me complaint but I have yet to hear further from them. Please help me. All I want is a working fridge that I can rely on.

Two years ago, we bought a Samsung refrigerator and it has been nothing but a money pit. We bought this from Lowes and it is no secret that this product is a piece of junk. Why would they keep selling them? The thermostat went out 31/2 months ago for a price of $300 and another service call a month before that for a price of $100. Well, the thermostat is out again and Samsung said that the thermostat has only a three-month warranty. The only positive thing I can say is that the set up manual tells you what to do so you can throw it away. I am going to cut my losses and buy a new one. Does Samsung made it or has anything to do with it? I have had my last Samsung product in my house.

Bought a new refrigerator from Lowe’s, less than 2 years ago, took out extended warranty. We have been without a refrigerator now for 2 months. The repair company ordered parts without even coming out, when they did come out, they sent email that they would be there Wednesday from 11-3, but when we called lady said they weren’t coming that they just ordered parts by what we said it was doing, they had wrong parts, (husband now has missed two days of work) Samsung offer to refund part of our money. We could have a full refund if we ordered another one from them. Told them I don’t want anything from Samsung, so they offered a low refund which I agreed to.Now every week to week in half they call and text and want more information and serial numbers taken off. I can’t seem to get anyone at Samsung to help and be honest. Have been told twice they have all they need, then they call again. I have a Samsung RF25HMEDBSR/AA side by side refrigerator that is nearly 2 years old, The ice maker has been a pain since 6 months after it was purchased, the thing drips water constantly, is moldy, does not produce enough ice, etc. It is mounted in the refrigerator portion of the unit in the upper left corner. It seems like it does not stay cool enough to keep the ice fully frozen and functioning. I had the ice maker and auger replace under an extended warranty package (I have been forced to purchase the warranty to the tune of 300 plus dollars a year), because Samsung customer support will not address the issue. The ice maker failed again this weekend after functioning properly for about 4 months. Thank goodness the warranty is still in place so it will be covered. Purchased our first Samsung fridge Feb 2012. 20 minutes after delivery, we noticed a cracked shelf. It took numerous calls and 3 months to get the correct shelf. In the meantime, they had sent 2 wrong shelves and a freezer door handle as a replacement part. In the spring of 2014, our fridge started to freeze up. It took almost 3 months to get it repaired. Again in November of 2014, the same issue arose about freeze up and the temperature settings were no longer readable. They (our retailer, Future Shop) finally replaced the unit. Two weeks in, yes you guessed it, water under the crisper drawers and freezing again. The unit was replaced (by Future Shop?) and a new one shipped to us. Two weeks later with the new one, the same issue has come again! Can this company not get it right?Through all of this, Future Shop has been a stand up company. They have looked after us wonderfully! We contacted Samsung and they said via email: we are not aware of any issues with our refrigerators. Perhaps they should read their online reviews??? We went back to our retailer today and they are replacing it yet again. This time however, we selected a Frigidaire! Enough with the Samsung product.

I would like to get some sleep at night, I do have to work. I hope someone reads this and can do something about this problem, or replaces this haunted device. Thank you for reading.

Our ice machine tries to make ice, but then it drips into large icebergs and clogs everything up or does not work at all even after re-setting it. The company evidently does not back up their products because we can find no help from this company. So disappointed. Our oven is now causing problems, it is gas and it goes out and keeps lighting back up. These appliances are high end and not that old.

I paid around $2,000 for a Samsung refrigerator from National Appliance chain H.H. Gregg. The refrigerator and freezer stopped working after 18 months. So far neither company is interested in fixing it. The parts take over 1 week to arrive. So far Ive replaced the motherboard and the freezer fan at a cost of $400, and the refrigerator is still not working. I would stay far away from any Samsung refrigerator. They look nice but are total garbage. Seriously, do not buy this junk.

We bought this Samsung 4-door French refrigerator ($2200) in July of 2010, so weve had it only about 36 months. Today we noticed everything in the freezer was thawed, but thought maybe we somehow left the freezer drawer ajar. By 4 hours later there was water everywhere and the ice maker leaked into the fridge section. Now weve emptied it completely, trying to salvage some of the frozen meat but lost all other frozen stuff which had gone to melt stage. We now realize it hasnt been coming on at all, so something obviously happened. Hubby pulled it out and didnt notice anything, but after reading all these posts, I think were facing the same thing - which is that new appliances are unreliable poor Quality. My parents had their fridges for 37 years. No exaggerating. What is wrong with this picture?

I purchase a Samsung refrigerator in 11/2020 at Best Buy. At first it seems that it did not cool much. Ice machine is slow when the ice comes out. After 3 visits from Geeks they decide I needed to contact Samsung. So today was a 2 hour look to see what problem is, person on phone with another person trying to see what the problem is. My food was getting mold, so after he was told that the cooling system is at bottom and there is a flap that should open. They got the number of part, not sure how long will it be when the part will get here. Food is expensive as it is, so why dont they just give me my money back and quit trying to figure out what the issue is. This company should build TV and stereos and leave the appliance to people that know how to build.

I am very disappointed with the Samsung refrigerator model: RF28HFEDBWW I bought at Sears 2 YEARS AGO!!! I had a repair person out yesterday and he could not remove the back panel inside the refrig b/c the screw would only tighten, not move left to loosen. We had to defrost the coils in the back of the refrig since he could not reach the coils. All food had to be removed. We hope that once he drains the built-up frost that is now defrosted that the refrig will work. Just pitiful. I will never buy a Samsung product again!

We purchased this dishwasher at Lowes in July 2012. Earlier this year it stopped running and gave an 5E code. We looked it up in our manual and it said drain error. We checked everything and could not clear the code. We tried the cancel & drain to no avail. We ended up pulling everything out and scooping all the water out. We had a plumber come over and he checked all the drains/hoses etc. and found nothing. He then called Samsung and told them he thought it was the electrical panel and they would not tell him anything since he was not an authorize Samsung repair person. Unfortunately around this time my mom went into hospice care so hand washing dishes was going to have to suffice. My mother passed away in the summer. By late August I started contacting Samsung to get an authorized service person to come out. What a nightmare. I had to call a couple of times to get someone on the phone who would even help me. They will not give you the local persons number. I was finally given a ticket number and a phone number to call for Service Quick. This was a long distance call for me. They then said they would have a local person call with a quote and set up an appointment. So finally 6 days later I got a voice message. I returned the call now at least 4 times (another long distance number) which nobody answers the phone. It does not say the company name or anything, just a standard automated at the beep please leave a message. In the meantime I went in the phone book and called a local appliance repair person. They took the whole thing apart and told me it looked like the pump was out and possibly the electrical panel and that it looked like the parts would be about $350. That is half of what this thing cost! They suggested I just buy a new dishwasher. That in their experience the Samsung are a lot of trouble and expensive to repair. They were very nice and only charged me for a short service call. I am very frustrated. Every time I talked to a Samsung person I was asked did you purchase the extended warranty?. That is ridiculous! A dishwasher should not need an extended warranty for something not even two years old! It is now September 9th and I Still have not spoken to anyone on the repair side! I dont have money lying around to just literally throw down the drain on new appliances. But I think that is what is going to happen. I will Never buy a Samsung appliance again!

I have an overhead fan and microwave by Samsung. (I also have Samsung fridge and stove. All three have given me problems.) The paint on the interior of the microwave is peeling off, especially under the glass turntable. The handle snapped off (cheap plastic part). Samsung wants 85$ for replacement handle which keeps breaking off! (Nice little money-maker you got going on Samsung)! Why dont you actually fix the problem?! The stainless steel is impossible to keep clean (same as fridge and stove). My advice -- stay away from Samsung kitchen appliances, they are not worth the money and headaches!

We purchased our Samsung refrigerator model # RFG297AAPN, the really large, 2 door bottom freezer. We had ice maker problems right away. The ice comes out and sprays as the shoot is very large and the ice seems to build up somewhere and when you ask for ice you get quite a bit of water. Samsung sent out a repair tech who replaced the ice maker. It still does the same thing. We have had water build up and freeze under the bins. We have a home warranty that covers the refrigerator but not the ice maker. They fixed the leak but the ice maker still gives water with ice. It is a large refrigerator which is great but customer service at Samsung is hard to deal with.

Approx. 4 yrs ago purchased a Samsung French door fridge. Recently the mullion bar became inoperable. After reviewing possible remedies IT became obvious that a new mullion bar had to be purchased. After purchase was made at a cost of $117.74 I tore the replaced bar apart and discovered the culprit to be a spring in the lower part of the bar. This spring could be made for no more than 50 cents at any reasonably priced manufacturer. I assume that the bar is also made by the Samsung corporation so it would be to their financial benefit to develop this spring as cheaply made as it is, so that additional financial gain could be made by their sale of this bar. My advice to any, who are considering purchasing this refrigerator is BUYER BEWARE.

I have only had this refrigerator (Model Rs2530BSH) for 5 years. It started giving me problems in the 2nd year. Now, it is completely out. It is hard to get anyone to work on this piece of trash and the parts are very hard to find. Once I found the parts on the internet, I was told the main part was on back order (the main circuit board) because of high demand. That is a shame. No part to a refrigerator should be in high demand. That means it is a manufacturer problem and it should have been recalled. This is frustrating and costly. Everyone who purchased this piece of junk should receive some type of reimbursement.

Samsung. We have a ton of Samsung products throughout our home, and our children use a lot of the same. We bought a Samsung refrigerator four years ago and in our opinion its a piece of crap!!! Weve had to have it serviced a few times in the last three months, with them charging $90 to show up, $75 an hour and parts. Our ice maker quit and are French door freezer started to quit. The tech came and changed the sensor and it cost over $170.They freeze our words, the ice maker to this day has never work again, and guess what, now the stinking freezer is broken again!!! Trying to get service to respond is horrible, It took us five calls over a 10 hour period to finally get someone to respond the next day. We were told the motherboard needs to be replaced and then the tech said the signal seemed to be OK to the sensor so he really didnt need to be replaced. The sensor controls the freezer. So we decided to toss out about these hours or more of frozen food. Now we have to go out and buy another refrigerator after four years!!! Wow!!! I want to go to Home Depot to check out refrigerators have asked want to good refrigerator was in one of two that was recommended was a Samsung!!! Are you combative were going to have to spend at least $2000 for a new refrigerator it wont be a Samsung unless they offered to work something with us. We bought this refrigerator as the result of the settlement of a complaint I filed with the state Attorney General against Sears for a crappy Amana refrigerator that broke six times in five years. Siri refuses to let us buy an extended warranty Surrey: we put extended warranties on everything we own. And this is one of a dozen of the websites where we will be publishing negative feedback on our horror story with our SAMSUNG refrigerator, which is a piece of crap in our opinion.Samsung Ticket #: **. We purchased a Samsung side by side fridge/freezer with ice maker in 7/2011. It has been nothing but headaches! If the freezer is a little over 1/2 half, the air doesnt circular properly and then freezes up the back panel and eventually the fan. We have had a tech out here 3 times in 3 years. They have replaced the motherboard, air fan, and 3 ice makers!!! Now, normal companies would call this a LEMON but Samsung told me that its just a design flaw. Is that their way of job security for the tech department? If there are this many issues and complaints, something should be done. Oh and now, guess what is happening AGAIN? Yep, you guessed it, the back panel is freezing up once again and we have had it now for 3 1/2 years. NEVER NEVER will we buy a Samsung appliance of ANY kind again!!

We took out the divider to make it a single oven as someone suggested, but that did not help. Two different service companies came and changed the thermostat and everything else they could to no avail. The last tech said he was sure the company would replace the stove because of the wild fluctuation in oven temperature, but he was wrong. Purchased Samsung FTQ307 in 2012, extended warranty. After 3 years of wonderful use it burns out the inverter and power control board. Contacted Lowes for warranty and they stipulate its out of warranty. I make the purchase to replace burned out cards. It worked for 4 days and burns out in the same fashion. Contacted Lowes again to verify warranty information and then it was under warranty when it originally broke but is not anymore. Contacted Samsung. The glass-top and internals under the glass-top are cover under a 5 year parts warranty. They honored said warranty and added in the labor too since it originally failed under the extended warranty. Technician came out to repair but did not have all the parts. They were on back order. Samsung placed paperwork in to reimburse cost of parts that I installed and began the process of doing a buy back. A few days later Samsung said they never said they were going to reimburse parts cost and that they were would never offer a buy back. Repair guy came out and repaired the stove. 2 hours later it burned out again. Samsung and the repair company have a 30 day labor and 60 day parts warranty. Samsung has now voided all warranty to everything. All my major appliances are Samsung. I will be selling them all with a different company and will not ever own a Samsung device again. In the whole process of dealing with Samsung, they would say and/or offer one thing and the next day take it back or say it never happened. And with the actual repair company Samsung stated that the technician said it was because it was repaired by my hand that I caused the issue, when in fact they did not say that.

Samsung microwave SMH9187 - As others describe, the microwave started to beep and the -SE- error code appears. This signifies a display panel issue. Some have had success disconnecting power source for ~15 seconds. Others had success by simultaneously holding the stop/clear and enter/start buttons for 20 seconds. Someone else recommended disconnecting the display panel. This is easy. It is easy to remove the plugs and on my model, only the two white and blue plugs at the bottom could be incorrectly swapped but the blue plug connection has the word blue clearly shown. I had disassembled and am trying to use fans to remove moisture. This malfunction occurred after a nearly two inch rainstorm, so there might be some moisture causing the failure. Samsung said they would extend the parts warranty even though I am outside the 1 year warranty, so I would need to pay for a serviceman. If it is just the display panel and if I can get the part for no cost, this is an easy install.

Second time I have had a problem with the microwave. Fan runs non-stop and will not heat anything. Samsung will not do anything. I work in a Day Spa that has over 300 clients through it in a week and I will make sure everyone knows about the issues I have had with Samsung products. I have a daughter that is an Interior Designer and she will never recommend the products again. My other daughter is a Realtor and she will be informing all her clients of my problems. My new mission in life is to make sure everyone know what poor quality Samsung has in service and products. If you read this PLEASE do not make my mistake. I took the extended warranty on the big four door fridge. The ice maker freezes up every two months even with biweekly cleaning. Takes the company at least three (3) weeks to get here to repair it. Firstly, I wish I had read these Samsung stove reviews prior to my purchase. :( This stove got 4.5 stars on PC Richards site which is one of the reasons that I bought it. I purchased the Samsung NX58M6650W Gas Range in November of 2017. I purchased this stove solely for the price and way it looked as I am not a person that cooks a lot and barely do I use an oven. I was upgrading my kitchen and looking for a stainless steel stove to replace my old one. Its a very nice looking stove but obviously looks can be deceiving. After my 4th time using the oven, which was all day on Thanksgiving Day 2018, I noticed that the control panel was warped almost looking like it had melted. I called Samsung for repair and they gave me a courtesy extension my warranty (2 weeks out of warranty) and offered a free repair. In my eyes a barely used stove should not have any issues in just over 12 mos, but thats just me. I had my rinky Hotpoint Stove for 17 years and not ONE need for repair. Anyway the repairman came and fixed the stove. He replaced the old control panel which means removing around 20 screws un-wiring/detaching and re-wiring a new control panel. Also needs to be mentioned, the control panel on the stove is made of plastic! Now that can be a problem if your stove gets hot. Repair seemed successful but two days later, the timer isnt working. For reference, the timer is in the same place on the panel that warped after using the oven for several hours. Needless to say I am furious. Samsung insists on sending out another repairman, but I want this stove replaced (not with a Samsung if thats possible). If you read the reviews, you have no doubt that this stove is problematic in its design. I watched the repair, and with all the fine wiring on a plastic panel, how will there not be problems? Samsung has been giving me somewhat of a runaround and does not seem to stand behind their product. Im sure problems will continue to occur based on all of the reviews and research Ive done. I have been on the phone with them 5 times. I have another appointment for repair since they say that this is the best that they can do since I am now out of warranty. Im with the other reviewer that says Class Action. I will try to update this review after my next repair visit, but in the interim, this stove is sorely disappointing. Stay away from this stove.

March of 2015, we purchased a Samsung Refrigerator from Nebraska Furniture Mart. A month after purchase, the ice maker stop producing ice. Called NFM and was given Samsungs number. Technician came out at least 4 times, only supplying temporary relief. Technician said, this is a manufacture problem. He said, Theres a sleeve in the back of the refrigerator that allows air to come in and with sub-below temperatures over freezes the ice maker, not allowing the ice make to function properly. After calling Samsung, they continue with the troubleshooting techniques. If you are experiencing this problem, dont allow the operators to troubleshoot your issue. Demand for a service tech. Tech from NFM set the temperature control way too cold. Fresh produce, butter, cheeses in the midsection of the refrigerator was freezing. Found out the correct temperature should be set on 0 and 37. To set you must hold the numbers one at a time for at least three to five seconds. Heading back to NFM to complain. If purchasing this refrigerator, spend the extra money and buy the warranty. A home warranty plan may also help defer the cost. NOT HAPPY WITH SAMSUNG RIGHT NOW!

The 2 stars are given because they are beautiful BUT we did a complete kitchen remodel in 2018 and nothing is holding up. We spent over $5000 on a SmartHub fridge that wont make ice properly and freezes up every month or so, $400 on a microwave that broke 5 months ago, over $5000 on a double oven that wont hold its temp properly and now we have to pay fo fix the washing machine that we spent almost $2000 on. We spent well over 15,000 to have matching smart appliances that well end up having to replace within the next few years. Nothing has connected properly to the smart hub. SAVE YOUR MONEY.

We have been using this dishwasher for two years and regret the day that we bought it. The only positive thing we can say is that it’s quiet. If you like doing separate loads for plates/small items and a separate load for pots & pans /storage containers then this unit is for you. PROBLEMS: The lower rack at front has a set of three rows of tines that don’t allow for easy placement of small plates. If you try to use the front and middle rows, they are too close to the front of the rack for anything but saucers. (If you use saucers) If you try to use the middle and third row, your small plates interfere with the dinner plates. (The tines for the dinner plates are slanted in the opposite direction from the small plates)Also all the tines have the wrong slant for North American plates. If you try to add a pot, the tines are too close together for it to fit properly. (There is a feature where you can fold down the plate tines to fit the pots but then there is no place for plates.) The upper rack guide roller retainers protrude and cut your hands if you are not careful. If we could afford to toss this dishwasher out, we would have done so on day two! We like it even less after two years.

Samsung RF28HMEDBSR French Door Refrigerator - Bought ours Nov. 2014 and bought the exact same one for my mother-in-law about a month later. Our ice-maker started acting up and freezing almost a year to the day after purchasing. Then lo and behold, my mother-in-laws did the exact same thing about a month after ours started (about one year to the day for her too). I did the hairdryer defrosting trick about 5 times in a two month span and had had enough... Too much work for ice, seriously! So then I got the bright idea to shut the ice-making ability off and buy bagged ice from the store and put it in the dispenser bucket. Works fantastic, except when you pay $2300 for a fridge with an ice-maker, one shouldnt have to purchase ice!My mother-in-law has appliance guard from Black Hills and they came out and fixed it a couple months ago, and it froze over again (just received an email from her this morning). I feel terrible because we purchased this for her as a gift and bragged how much we loved it; that was before the problems. If anyone has a fix, please post the link here. Theres been lots of theories, but I dont want to call out a repairman to temporarily fix what I can do with a blow dryer... ugghhh. Why no class-action lawsuit yet? The complaints are endless on their ice-makers, etc.

Spoke directly to Samsung and their response was to just unplug it regularly... Buyer beware of purchasing any Samsung home appliance. I purchased a complete stainless steel kitchen set, fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave, in July, 2017. They look beautiful, but dont work. Repairmen have been to my home eight times in 4 months. Only the microwave has been problem free. The ice maker has been replaced three times and still makes slushy ice. The dishwasher was delivered with multiple problems, which Samsung claimed were not their fault. Begging with Home Depot got me a replacement from them, not Samsung. Now the finish is coming off in black globs. The stove had an oven door that did not close properly. Multiple trips by Samsung repairman finally resulted in having to have the oven door replaced. That only occurred after long conversations with Samsung customer service, and a request for the address of their administrative office. They said they were doing it for me as a one time courtesy. Their repair service (Lake Electronics in our area) matches Samsung in their incompetence and customer disservice. Be smart and invest your hard earned money in a company whose products are worthwhile.

I purchased an over the stove microwave Sept 17, 2014 from Lowes Monroe, Michigan. Thanksgiving Day Nov 27, 2014 (yesterday) while warming up cheese dip I was smelling electrical burning. I looked and my Microwave, it was blowing black smoke out of the vents. I opened it up and my house filled with BLACK smoke. I turned it off. Needless to say its only about 2 1/2 months old. I called Lowes and they said I was out of the store warranty BUT they would sent out a service company. REALLY???!!!??? NEVER AGAIN SAMSUNG!!! Model # SMH2115. If I hadnt been standing in my kitchen, my house would have caught fire WITH 30 people inside of it for the holiday. Extremely dangerous.

Weve called customer service for Samsung several times. They were not helpful and they did not support the customer need. Samsung knows of a faulty design on the icemakers of their refrigerators yet refuses to acknowledge and make it right for their customers. There is currently an open class action lawsuit for this problem, yet Samsung customer service wants to charge its customers to send technicians out to repair knowing that the icemaker will become faulty again. I am very dissatisfied with Samsung products and will not be purchasing or referring their product again.

This is so unfair for the companies to be selling this piece of crap, I just recently bought a Samsung Double Oven Gas Range and it is more of a thin metal than stainless steel. Not even my cooking pots looks this bad or get scratch like this range. The same day of installation it got lots of scratches that cant be taken off. Out of nowhere scratches keeps appearing because of daily use. If you pass your fingernails it will leave scratches too and cant take them off. Sucks. Paid almost $3,000 and this is my 2nd week with it. It is a very attractive stove but you cant even get too close just to prevent from getting more scratches or else. Please if anyone knows is there anything out there that can prevent scratches let me know, thanks.

Bought a microwave as part of a package at Home Depot. I never write reviews but frustration with the product and service has compelled me to warn others. Bought new in August of 18. The unit worked for a short period then started to shut off while heating of foods. Called customer service and they told us to unplug and wait 5 min. That happened often until we eventually called for a service call. We had to remove it from above stove as Samsung does not do this. Said it was a liability issue. Technician came out and attempted to fix. Did not have correct parts. Came out again and still did not have the correct parts. Waiting for 3rd appointment. Will see if this fixes problem. Major inconvenience to have to wait for service tech on 3 separate occasions. Quite unfair to consumers. I recommended they send out a new one after the 2nd visit. Would have been cheaper for Samsung. Home Depot recommended Samsung as a quality brand. I will never buy another Samsung appliance. Totally bad experience all around. Had I read the reviews before buying I would have bought another brand.

My husband and I needed a new refrigerator, after our Kenmore finally bit the dust. We opted to try a different brand, Just because, I guess we wanted a change. We went to the big-box appliance store, hoping to find something fabulous! The salesman was pleasant enough, and he seemed to be knowledgeable about all of the brands they carried. We really seemed impressed with the Samsung. It was super bright, as it was really well lit on the inside. He touted the greatness of the Cooling Door feature, telling us it would keep our milk, OJ, etc nice and cold, and offer easy access so we wouldnt have to open the whole door to get our most-used items. Its never an easy task figuring out how an empty refrigerator will work when you load it up at home.It wasnt a good thing, when the repairmen had to order a new door the day it got delivered, as it was non-functioning for the water/ice. It also was damaged, so I should have known we were in for it! Ive had the repair techs out 4 more times in 2 years. The thermostat will not keep a steady temp. It either freezes everything, or it gets dangerously warm! We lost an entire refrigerator/freezers worth of food to excessive warmth. I spoke with Samsung directly, and the rep told me to take all of the spoiled food out of the garbage, photograph it and send the photos to them! WHAT??!! It was right in the middle of the summer! No way were we going trash-picking! I purchased 2 thermometers specifically for refrigerators/freezers to monitor the temp. Never consistent... The ice dispenser leaks water down the front of the fridge, so I have to keep a washcloth on the cup holder shelf. The front of the refrigerator is stained from the water on the stainless steel all the time. The inside has a crack right where you open the door. The freezer is horrible to utilize. The top drawer doesnt pull all the way out, so you cannot reach things easily. Because of the ice maker/dispenser, the inside shelves of the door hardly hold anything! Im betting I am forgetting even more of the items that have been plaguing us since this unit was delivered. One repair tech even told me I should consider putting it out in the driveway for a garage sale, hoping someone would unload it from me! Please dont consider Samsung! They make great electronics, but appliances? NO WAY! I have a stove from Samsung that I shall also submit a review for as well.

We bought a house without a fridge and went looking. I loved the French doors and the basic layout of the fridge. Looked up the reviews on it and saw all the complaints about the ice maker. Thought that maybe the issue had been fixed. It hadn’t. Barely had it a year and had to get the ice maker replaced. Could only find 1 company that would even work on them. Took him a month trying to get the thing working again. Now here I am again 8 months later and it’s broke again. It has all the updates on it, less than a year old ice maker on it and when talking to the repairman he said that it’s a Samsung. It’s what they do. Tried contacting Samsung when it first went out and they told me that they were aware of the problem but it was past their warranty. They got their money so don’t care much if it works after they aren’t responsible for it. Do yourself a favor and keep looking.

I remodeled my kitchen 4 years ago and purchased all new Samsung appliances. They were magnificent looking! However, the microwave touch panel malfunctioned after just a few months and went completely black... no lights. Samsung repaired it due to a recall on the panel. Now four years later it is out again! I had to purchase a new microwave today... NOT SAMSUNG. The range already has one malfunctioning burner so now Im down to 3 burners. The refrigerators ice maker stopped working after 7 months.... cost $450 to replace. Samsung only guarantees the ice maker for 5-6 months. Only Samsung repair people can fix your appliances because no one else can get the necessary parts, so the repair charge is double that of other appliance repair businesses. The dishwasher cleans horribly and leaves grit in EVERY glass/cup. The welded stainless steel walls of the dishwasher came apart and my husband had to repair them with rivets. I refuse to spend another dime repairing Samsung products. I will gradually replace them when they break completely. STAY AWAY FROM SAMSUNG!!!

Samsung Model DW80K7050UG/AA-0000 failed twice in two years: - Touch screen failed to respond- Top sprayer wand bearing failureThe touch screen failed to respond unless the power was reset. This got progressively worse until we had to replace the dishwasher with a Maytag. The display board was $150, but the problem might’ve been in the main control board which contain the power supply. Since it was out of warranty the repair may have cost $300.After a year of ownership, the top sprayer wand bearing failed because it was ground down by debris picked up by the dishwasher. I consider this a design defect. Fortunately this was under warranty repair but the dishwasher was out of service for about two weeks. Being an engineer, I deem this to be a design failure where on filtered water was put into a bearing which ground the plastic down until the bearing failed. I am no longer a believer and Samsung dishwashers.

I purchased this Samsung Convection Electric Stove approximately 4 years ago as Samsung received good reports for its electronics and appliances. After about a year of owning it, the rear burners no longer worked on low, the oven light blinked on and off, the oven shuts on and off and the convection fan was working intermittently. Sometimes, there is a ticking noise when I turn the oven on. I called Samsung in the beginning of the malfunctioning and was told my oven was no longer under warranty. This was the 2nd time my Thanksgiving turkey took 7 hours to cook. This product is defective in so many ways and should not be sold by retailers until they remedy all of the complaints appearing on sites such as ConsumerAffairs is remedied.

On May 12, 2016 my Samsung side-by-side refrigerator (model RSG257AAWP) that I purchased on April 14, 2012 stopped cooling. It has been an absolute nightmare trying to work with Samsung to have someone come out to diagnose the problem. It is now May 23, 2016 and I am still calling Samsung trying to find resolution. I was assigned to a repair service (Home Service Network) on May 14th. On May 16th they informed me that they dont have any technicians that could work on my refrigerator. I called Samsung back and my ticket was reassigned to another repair service (Priceless Appliance Services). I was told that companies are to respond in 1-2 business days. I waited. Nothing! I called Samsung again. My ticket was reassigned again (Mr. Appliance of Central Maryland) and again I did not receive a call from this service repair company. When I called Samsung once more, today May 23rd, my ticket is showing that its assigned to Priceless and not even the last company that I was given so it appears that my ticket was not even reassigned. Now Im starting to think that the Samsung warranty policy is a sham. If they refer a customers ticket to enough non-responsive repair companies, at some point, especially with such an essential appliance as a refrigerator, the customer will become totally frustrated and seek to resolve the issue with a non Samsung repair service. This deems your appliance out of warranty even if you only have someone diagnose but not fix the product that you have so desperately tried to seek help for from Samsung. BE AWARE! BE CAUTIOUS! Its probably best to NEVER, EVER purchase Samsung appliances. In the future, I will only purchase appliances made in the USA.
