I bought the side by side fridge in 2011, and it never gets cold and some yellow stuff on the freezer bottom. Called Samsuck out. They told me there was nothing wrong with the fridge but he also found a crack in the bottom of the freezer. I asked him why does the fridge when its turned down as far as it would go but would not get it cold cold like my Whirlpool did and my Kenmore elite did? He said thats the way Samsuck does their products. I will never buy a Samsuck anything ever again. Whirlpool all the way. Im tired of import cheap ** products!!! Now its time for a new fridge. What a waste of money. Thanks Samsuck.

I am extremely disappointed that my 18 month old Samsung Refrigerator RF263BAESR - French Door started experiencing issues. Samsung does not stand by its product and the expense of fixing it has caused me to junk it and buy a new one. The refrigerator is constantly freezing up and then it warms up and ruins all the contents. There seems not to be a fix except to defrost overnight every few months. What is that all about in a self defrosting product? I plan never to buy another Samsung product.

Horrible. Spent thousands on the refrigerator and now I see filter light on and learn I need to spend $45 every 6 months to replace water filter. Also, microwave filter needs to be replaced every 6 months as well- only $11 for that. Why didnt the Lowes salesman tell me I would need to spend additional money every 6 months and replace these filters? Also, when I called customer service I needed to ask him to spell out what he was saying because I could not understand a word. Not sure which country I reached but it sure wasnt the US. I will not even go into the fact that I also bought a Samsung electric oven/cooktop and needed to replace the cooktop after 3 months because it cracked. Samsung products are horrible. I will never purchase another Samsung appliance again.

I wish I had read the reviews prior to purchasing. From day one the fridge did not work. I called samsung, they were going to get a repair guy out but the first available was 8 days away. It was new and it should work from day one. So I wrote a nasty letter to samsung. Then told homedepot that I was going to return it and find a company that valued my business. Well then Home Depot decided to replace it. My suggestion is to never buy a samsung product, their customer service dept is brutal.

I have a 4 year old top of the line Samsung electric cooktop/oven that has always worked great, up until several months ago when it almost blew up. Many others have reported having the main computer board fail/catch fire. Mine was the 2 main oven heating, element wires at the solder connection app heating up, sagging and touched back metal panel. Wires shorted, blowing them off the oven. Luckily breaker tripped, shutting off power to oven, one wire did catch fire briefly. Dont remember what the warranty did cost but the 5 year one is prob worth it on the expensive ones. I looked at the back with the panel off and a thousand dollar unit has the same build quality as the 200 dollar one. **.

We have had nothing but problems with this $3000.00 fridge! We have ice freezing in the bottom crisper and it needs defrosting every 4 to 5 months or it pours water onto our kitchen floors!! The local repairman says that this is a common problem and that these models are a nightmare!!! Now this week I replaced the water filter and now no water will flow from the dispenser. Samsung told me to get another filter which I tried 3 different times and none of them work. When the filter is removed we get water flow but not with the filter inserted?

We remodeled our kitchen and purchased an electric Samsung stove with warming drawer from H.H. Gregg. This oven was $1500 and it was supposed to work as a double oven because it has a metal divider and dual controls for upper and lower ovens or you can remove the divider and use as one large oven. I was so excited to basically have 2 ovens, plus a warmer. It never baked well from the very beginning. I would preheat the oven, but it would never cook at that temperature. It was always 50-75 degrees below what it was set for. It was under warranty so I called Samsung. They wanted ME to troubleshoot and calibrate the oven, which I did following their instructions. Nothing helped. I called Samsung four times and finally got them to arrange for a licensed local tech to come fix the problem. He replaced everything he could find and it still doesnt work. The oven is awful and Samsung customer service is just as awful. They read responses from a card and do not listen to anything you are trying to tell them. I really wish I had read other reviews before I ever bought it. It is still under warranty with H.H. Gregg, so now it is their problem, and mine.

After 3 years of very light use, around June 2013, my Samsung microwave stopped suddenly giving a different beep. All buttons of the keypad were inoperable. Nothing of this mentioned in the user manual. I called service engineer & he too had no idea about the error code. He asked us to replace the keypad unit but did not return after that. I just chanced to look for the solution of the problem in net & to my disbelief exactly the same problem is faced by so many all around the world and the Samsung guys have found a way to earn more bucks on pretext of repairing their own manufacturing defect. Shame on them.

Samsung Model RF28HMEDBSR. Worst ice maker I have ever had. The cubes come out like large crushed ice. The ice maker had to be replaced, about 6 months ago, now it is doing the same thing freezing up and has to be manually defrosted to work again (about every 2 weeks). The refrigerator is nosier than most - I can handle that - but I like my ice. I would not recommend this refrigerator to anyone that like their ice.Updated on 03/23/2018: Well I am back to the repair mode--ice maker worked for a while. I have had to defrost it twice this month and today when the tech came out, it was frozen up so bad that he had trouble removing the ice bin. Sigh! -They are going to replace the icemaker AGAIN. Thank God for the extended warranty.

I launched a complaint against my refrigerator which I purchased in July 2011. When we start the refrigerator, it is shaking and sounds so high. But after sometime, it will become okay again. After sometime, it creates the same problem. I complained to the dealer and he sent a person. But he cant solve the problem, again after 4 or 5 days. I will come and I will try to solve. But 17 days had passed and there’s no information, nothing. I think this is such a renowned company showing their negligence.

Our Samsung Refrigerator RF267ABWP is 4.5 years old. We paid over $1,800 for it new. The ice maker recently quit working and then the water dispenser line froze up. We had a Samsung authorized repairman come out to fix the problem. Cost $417.00. We found out that actually, the Main Board had failed and it had apparently caused the ice maker and water line problems. We then found out there is a service bulletin issued via Samsung regarding the Main Board that had to be replaced to fix the problems. Samsung is obviously aware of the problem or the service bulletin would not be out there. Called Samsung to discuss this issue to see if they might reimburse us for the cost of the defective Board, since their company is aware of the Board problem. Terrible experience and now I know I will never ever purchase another Samsung product. After talking with multiple representatives, being accidentally hung up on, trying to sell me an extended warranty and absolutely refusing to let me speak to anyone in charge, like a supervisor, Samsung just completely ignored what I was telling them and said since our warranty was over, no offer of resolution for me. Each time I asked to speak to someone in charge, I was told they were busy. Each time I asked if this busy person could please call me back when they got a chance, I was ignored. I could not get anyone at Samsung to listen to what I was saying, or anyone to acknowledge the problem I was presenting to them. I am really Sorry I bought this Samsung refrigerator and advise anyone in the market for a refrigerator to keep looking until they find one of another brand that they like.

I purchased a brand new high end Samsung dishwasher thru Lowes. The top basket looked like it had been jammed into the bracket during the manufacturing process; the left side metal arm that the roller sat on was bent so it didnt fit onto the bracket and the other roller was broken. I called Samsung and they told me I had to purchase another roller even though I explained to them it was brand new. I had heard about their poor customer service thru a friend of mine that had purchased a refrigerator for her retired parents. It took Samsung over a month and a half to repair that brand new refrigerator (which in the meantime meant they had to rent a replacement at their expense). I own Samsung Smartphones, TVs, etc. but this will be the last large appliance I buy from Samsung. Terrible, terrible customer service over a couple dollar part!!!

We purchased the Samsung Dishwasher Model DW80K505US last fall. We had the service techs here to check on it as the dishes were coming out with food stuck on them no matter what we did. We did everything the tech said to avoid this problem and it didnt change a thing. Two weeks ago we received the replacement machine that Samsung sent but it has exactly the same problem. As far as we are concerned this is a design flaw. The rinse cycle is not working properly as the dishes come out dirtier than when they were put in.According to the last service tech who was here 2 DAYS AGO, it is caused by the companies trying to go greener with the machines. What use are they if they do not do what they are supposed to. I am currently using both the detergent and rinse agent they recommended and now I also am supposed to buy another product - Finish dishwasher booster. I have an issue with the chemicals as they cause me health problems so I am assuming that we bought an expensive floor ornament and will have to go back to washing dishes by hand.

OMG, Samsung refrigerators are totally worthless. We have had so many problems and service calls with our new Samsung fridge. Talk about, sounds like an airplane? Yes, it has something to do with the air circulation fan behind the thermostatically controlled shelf. The noise starts as a humming and moves on to a machine gun, hard click about once every half second. It started when the machine was new and happened 3 more times. The 1st and 2nd time we had it repaired. Today we are hauling away this nearly new machine. We loved this machine when we were shopping for a new fridge. We got this one because it had a dual compressor and a special thermostatically controlled drawer. Love and joy ended real fast because those are things that broke first. (We are 2 old people and we hardly go into the refrigerator -- so you cant blame any problems on kids and abusive overuse.) We hear our problem this week is a broken diverter -- will only be a mere $750 to fix. Right now our shiny, stainless unit is sitting on the sidewalk. Our fabulous new fridge from Home Depot is a top of the line LG for several hundred $ less than $2000 -- LG getting about 5 stars from reviews. Now that Im looking at general reviews about Samsung, everything they make seems to be horrible. How could that be?! We used to buy a ton of Samsung stuff -- not anymore. There are so many little, bad issues with this fridge and I see nearly 1500 complaints (a lot of them from 2015!). All I can say is -- get an LG from Costco or Home Depot -- they seemed to have the best price, haul away fee, etc.

My problem is like everyone else!!! My RF217 is less than 2 years old when drain froze up wrecking the fan!!! Having been in the appliance business for over 30 years, I have never saw such a poorly designed system!!! After defrosting and installing a new fan, it worked for a couple of months when it started leaking into the crisper drawers telling me the drain was already frozen!!! I made a heater out of a copper wire and thought I had it fixed. But three months later, same old crap!!! Samsung knows of this problem but is not recalling the problem, even though they make a kit to fix it with!!! I suggest everyone that has or had this problem call the commerce commission and report their experience. In the meantime, you can buy the kit online such as eBay for around $125.00... Let refrigerator thaw for several hours so you dont break cover or insulation foam behind it!!!

I bought the dishwasher for almost $500, embarrassed that I paid that much
I bought the dishwasher for almost $500, embarrassed that I paid that much for such a piece of junk now and thinking I had paid that much did not purchase the extended warranty. My last dishwasher was almost 20 years old when I replaced it and I was thinking I had replaced it with a much higher end model. I did not buy a Bosch or some fancy machine, nor did I buy a cheap model, just something would get the job done for a longtime. At a little less than two years, I start getting low water warnings and it shuts off and wont complete its cycle, this gets worse and worse until I cant get it to run at all. I call Samsung and they tell me it is out of warranty and for $180 they can send someone out to look at the machine but it could cost parts as well. I got it fixed by my usual guy for much less and it worked form last Oct 2013 until this February 2014 and the same low water warning is going off and the machine once again shuts off multiple times before it runs and sometimes it take a day before it will run. This is definitely a defect in design that Samsung will not acknowledge. Do not buy a Samsung dishwasher. They do no customer service, nor do they acknowledge design defects. Their warranty repair people are limited and charge an outrageous amount, because they are the only game in town just to check out your machine and do not guaranty it will be covered and they are rude and arrogant as they know they are the only ones who cover your area. Just saying will never buy another Samsung appliance nor will I go to best buy as they are the ones who sold it to me, neither stand by their products.

This is the first and last time that I will write a review for a Samsung product, because I will never be purchasing one again. Until my last experience with Samsung, I believed that they were a good company with solid products. As a consumer, I expect my product to work as designed and for that manufacturer to stand behind whatever warranty may accompany that product; pretty simple. I have never actually taken the time to write anything like this and post it on the internet, but here is my story and I truly hope that it dissuades anyone from purchasing a Samsung product under the false assumption that you have the backing of the manufacturer if anything should go wrong with your product.I purchased my dishwasher (Model # DW80F600UTS) in mid April of 2014 from Lowes. I paid around $500 and for the money, it did the job. In February of 2015, less than a year after I purchased the unit, it started having problems. Like you might read on countless other reviews and forms, the smart auto and heavy lights would start flashing 10 minutes into the cycle, the dishwasher would drain, and the dishwasher would not clean the dishes. Upon investigating the issue, I discovered that this is an indication that there is a problem with the float switch. Again, simple problem, but with the number of issues related to this one topic, it is very clear that there is a defect in the dishwashers design. Here is a complete list of the calls I made to Samsung and the numerous challenges I encountered:February 18, 2014 - Called and described the problem. Samsung contacted an appliance service company (So Cal Tech, Inc.) in my area to address the issue. February 20, 2014 - Service center calls me to set an appointment to fix the issue once they receive 2 parts, the float switch and main board. Parts will be in in 2 days and we will be there to fix the dishwasher. February 26, 2014 - I call the service center because they have not called to set an appointment. The parts arent in yet, we will call when they arrive. March 2, 2014 - Service center calls and sets the appointment to come fix my dishwasher. March 5, 2014 - Repairman arrives. Extremely rude to my wife. Curses his company as he tells her that they only sent him 1 part he needs. Repairman leaves, dishwasher not functioning. I call the service center... We will have the part in in 2 days.March 9, 2014 - I call the service center because they have not called to set an appointment. The part isnt in yet, we will call when they arrive. March 16, 2014 - Part arrives, repair scheduled. March 19, 2014 - Repairman arrives, installs the main board. Dishwasher appears to run ok, but after the repair man leaves, it does the same thing. I call Samsung and I am told they need to fix the float switch again. I tell them that I am not going to accept that, so I am transferred to their executive customer service team. I explain the issue and they put it in review to have the unit replaced. I am promised that they will call back within 48 hours.March 26, 2014 - Instead of a call back from Samsung, I get another repair center. This time they tell me that I am going to be charged for the service. I say absolutely not, and that I will call Samsung. Again, I am transferred to the executive customer service team, who states they dont know why I wasnt called back and they couldnt find a note on the review in their system. Again, I am told that they are going to review the case for replacement and that I will hear back in 48 hours.April 2, 2014 - Samsung never calls back. I call again. Transferred to the executive customer service team. This time, I tell the nice lady on the other end of the phone that I am not going to accept a call back and that I wanted to speak to someone that could resolve this issue immediately. She talks over me for a minute, reciting the process that I have to follow, after which, she hangs up on me. I call back, enraged, transferred to the executive customer service team. Find out that the lady that just hung up on me has closed my pending issue ticket. I explain what I have been through, I am promised a call back from the supervisor of the executive customer service team.April 9, 2014 - Guess what, Samsung never called back. I call, get transferred to the executive customer service team and like an idiot, I allow them to do ANOTHER review. I ask the representative to take notes on the entire story. At the end, I ask what he has written down (there were several times I was on hold for him to put the notes in the system) and he hasnt recorded a single note. We go through it again, he reads it back to me. And I am PROMISED a call back in 48 hours.April 15, 2014 - Getting sick of this yet? I am. No call back from Samsung. What they did do, is have another service center call me and offer to come fix the dishwasher. Just as I am about the explode, they also inform me that I am out of warranty and that I will be charged if they come to fix it. April 22, 2014 - Now Im here. 20 hours on the phone with Samsung over a $500 dishwasher and all I ever wanted them was to stand behind their product. Thanks Samsung. Dishwasher is still not working and I am done spending my time on trying to get Samsung to do anything about it. If you read this and still buy an appliance from them, then I hope you spend a couple hundred extra bucks on an extended warranty... youre going to need it.

We purchased the Samsung Fridge model # RF28HMEDBSR/AA less than six months
We purchased the Samsung Fridge model # RF28HMEDBSR/AA less than six months ago. We’ve had this fridge previously at our last home and I was skeptical to buy again because the fridge started having rust spots on the freezer door (true stainless steel shouldn’t rust). So the company falsely advertised their fridge to be true stainless, which as a consumer, once a business makes false claims, you’d typically not want to purchase the item again. However, my husband really wanted this fridge so I gave in. Fast forward to roughly six months after we got the new fridge, the door with the water/ice dispenser was left open, not fully but cracked like it wasn’t completely closed while we were at work. Complete accident but when I got home that night, the ice door flap on the fridge door was continuously opening and closing and the front display was almost completely dim. Following what you would think is right, I contacted their technical support department and got in queue for a callback (est wait was 1hr 15 min). Received call back and by this time, my husband was home and able to go through all the troubleshooting ideas the tech threw at him. Still not fixed, so they put in a request to have a tech from Dish Home Services come to fix it. This was on a Monday, the tech couldn’t get out here until Friday. So we’ve had a half working fridge, only to be told on Friday that the Samsung tech ordered the wrong part and they’d have to put in a new order and send someone out again. I was annoyed at this point as it was a holiday weekend, and was being told it’d be over a week before they’d be able to come back out. (Uh no.) Anyone whos had issues with a new fridge knows that you can’t just sit around and wait. Your food doesn’t stay cold and using coolers only does so much. I’d been in touch with a supervisor at Samsung (Antony ID **), who told me they wouldn’t replace my fridge because they had to exhaust all options to fix it (meaning we’d have to keep taking time off work to be home for these techs, even though they say they don’t expect you too, when you have a broken fridge, you have to too). Dish Home Services don’t apparently do late afternoon/early evening calls and were not seeming to think working us in was essential. My husband had been working with a Katie at Dish who said she’d call him back that same Friday they were out to confirm our appointment. She never did and we had to call back on Monday to figure out what was going on. I kept getting the response that “were waiting on the part”, but in this day and age of tracking numbers, expedited shipping, etc. they could have known when they would have the part and confirm a date to come back. I finally got a supervisor with Dish (she said her name was Demetrius) and she said she could see the tech would have the part by tomorrow (Tuesday), and she’d email the local dispatcher to get us on the books. When I asked for the local phone number to call them myself, she said she couldn’t give it out. So long story short, if you don’t want a headache of dealing with a crap customer service department, or the possibility of a brand new appliance breaking, I’d stay clear of this company because they clearly don’t care to stand behind their products but hide behind poor policies and use horrible contract service companies to repair their own products. Save yourself the headache and buy another brand.

I purchased this Samsung refrigerator (RF217ACPN French door model; bottom freezer drawer) in January of 2014 at Lowes but did not get the extended warranty. First, there was water in the crisper and not thinking much of it, I would just clean the water up. Then this past Easter weekend, the unit started making an awful noise. Being a holiday weekend, I could not get anyone out to look at the refrigerator. By Monday, the noise had stopped. Then on Mothers day then it stopped cooling but the freezer still works. So I called around locally for a repair person and was informed repeatedly that they would not work on the unit - reasons were no training available or couldnt get parts. I then called Lowes who in turn tried locating a tech for me several times with no luck. So my next step was to contact Samsung and over a two week period, went through the same thing of setting up repair dates and being called back and cancelled by the service companies. Finally started with a return authorization this pass Monday with Samsung - a prorated buy back. Only to be called yesterday and told that the buy back was stopped because there was indeed a repair tech in my area that would work on the fridge and Samsung, set it up for next Monday the 9th. Well today, there was a voice mail from the service company saying that they would not work on my unit. So I called Samsung 1-800 number again and informed them of the latest development and ask that the return authorization be restarted. Now, they are saying that they will not do a buy back because the refrigerator is not unrepairable. Well, if no one will repair a broken appliance then in my thinking, it is unrepairable.

Purchased Samsung Model #RF24FSEDBSR French door refrigerator in 2014, and shortly after began having numerous problems with both the ice maker and the overall temperature control. Had a factory authorized service tech come out, who told us the ice maker is a defective design for which Samsung has no solution. He stated he has seen hundreds of these, and there is no fix. The ice maker does not make more than one batch of ice each 24-hour cycle (sometimes not even that). It will not dispense cubed ice (crushes it every time), and water runs out of the dispenser, filling the glass with ice and water. It freezes solid, thaws, and then freezes again, requiring that we defrost the ice maker every other day. (Are you freaking kidding me??!!)The temperature controls are fickle, often not holding the temperature at the setting selected. This refrigerator was purchased as part of a total kitchen remodel, and we thought we were getting a great value. Instead, it has turned out to be a huge POS costing us money for attempted repairs and a great deal of frustration. I will not buy another Samsung refrigerator again, and I will discourage everyone I know from ever doing so. Their claims of reliability ring hollow, and their customer service on this product is nothing but a cruel, pathetic joke. Do not buy this, or any other Samsung refrigerator.

Samsung French Door Refrigerator - I would never purchase a Samsung fridge again as long as I live. I bought it in 2013 and so far... The ice maker has crapped out, the refrigerator defroster heater freezes up all the time and I have to thaw it out at least once a month and to ice the cake... The paint is peeling off the door handles. I know there is a class action lawsuit against Samsung and all the reviews say customer service is useless. I can certainly vouch for that!!! What does $1,800 get you from them? A boat anchor.

We purchased a home and went all out and spent over $5,000 for all new stainless appliances package in our kitchen and spent $3,600 on a new washer and dryer. After $8,600 in bills and Within 3 years our fridge won’t make ice anymore. Our dishwasher gets stuck on the delicate cycle, our stove heating element went out, and finally our front load washer leaks and will not take all the detergent or softener down when it runs. I will never and repeat will never, ever buy a Samsung product again. Not a TV, phone, appliance or anything. Samsung USE to be a good brand. But like most brands that cannot keep the quality up with its production Samsung’s best days are behind them. I would sell your stock if you have it. What a garbage company.

I have had an SE error code for 3 years and also lighting and fan would come on at random while we were sitting on the couch and got so bad we had to unplug it before we left the house. I called Samsung and they sent out a repairman who said it was under a recall and replaced the touch pad which didnt fix it and left with a new keypad installed and doing the same EXACT thing! They came out again to replace the touch pad and he said it was not the touch pad on mine causing the SE error and other problems, it was the circuit main board that they unscrew and reuse on the new keypad. The repairman wanted over $200 to order and come back out and replace to fix the SE error code and lighting and fan issue. I declined the repair because I wasnt sinking another $200 in a $400 Microwave and immediately called Samsung and informed them that the keypad was NOT the part going bad from stove top grease on ALL microwaves, that it is also the circuit board. And the Supervisor said that Samsung would not cover that part because only the keypad is covered. Look folks, I worked at a name brand new car dealership as a technician and I will tell you.... ANY part that is causing the problem with the recall is covered so that the check engine light, etc is resolved and the customer goes away happy. Samsung told me when I told them they were about to lose a customer over this that they are sorry to lose me but they wont fix the recall unless its the EXACT part that lets say 10,000 microwaves have over 100 microwaves have being this electronic main board! I am very very upset over this and do not understand why they will install a part in someones microwave that wont fix the recall. Now the microwave stays on when you open the door so I guess a lawsuit is going to be coming from someone over this.

I needed a new refrigerator and wanted the bottom freezer and double door open. I saw this one online (store didnt have exact model on floor) and chose this because of the depth and the bottom freezer. The door to the left can hardly hold anything because the ice/water is there (my old fridge wasnt that bad in that area) and the right door can only hold 1 gallon of milk. The part that is really horrible is the fact that GNATS are constantly in my fridge! I have NEVER had Gnats in my fridge!!! I have no idea what is going on but the seals must not be great. I came home at lunch time and opened fridge to get lunch and there was a LIVE gnat! The fridge is set to almost the coldest temp. Beware if you buy.

We purchased a 20 c.f. French door, bottom freezer, Samsung Model RF217ACWP
We purchased a 20 c.f. French door, bottom freezer, Samsung Model RF217ACWP refrigerator on August 11, 2013. It was delivered to us on August 14, 2013. We are not happy with the continuous obnoxious noises this refrigerator makes - a very high pitched noise, a rattling noise that gets progressively louder, and a noise like water running. It is constant noise any time this refrigerator cycles through whatever the cycle is at the time. The drawers in the freezer compartment are iced over all the time and have been since day one. This does not seem normal. On Oct. 11, 2013 we went to the Sears store where we purchased this refrigerator to discuss returning it. The salesman told us no problem since the refrigerator was so new but he had to call Customer Solutions to get it scheduled for pick up.Customer Solutions informed us that since it had been more than 30 days since the purchase, we would have to pay a 15% restocking fee unless we have a service technician look at the refrigerator, that this would be the way to avoid the restock fee. We have no intention of keeping this refrigerator and no interest in exchanging it for the same Samsung product. We wish to return it for a refund so that we can purchase a US made.It appears that Sears has recently (October 06, 2013) changed their return policy on appliances. At the time we purchased we were told that we had 60 days to return. On October 11, 2013 the salesman at Sears was very surprised to hear that Customer Solutions was requiring us to have a service technician look at this refrigerator to avoid a 15% re-stock fee. Seems that Sears can change their return policy and make it retroactive. We have read the many complaints concerning Samsung refrigerators, Sears, etc. We would be interested in joining a class action lawsuit against Samsung, Sears and anyone else selling this inferior product.

Smart auto and Heavy code on DW80F600UTS. I purchased this dishwasher in late 2013 because it was on sale. It was a year later when the Smart Auto and Heavy lights started blinking. I didnt purchase the extended warranty which was a mistake. The dishwasher became something for looks for awhile until I had time to fix it. Once I started fixing it recently, I found many posts on all the possible fixes. I replaced the case break and it still does not work. I see others say to replace the ECS and main boards. I must have pulled out the dishwasher a half a dozen times already trying to fix it. What a waste of time and money. Never buy a Samsung. Ceramic cooktop model# NE59J342*SS - Cooking sausage on 3-month-old stove (about the 3rd or 4th time using the burner). After cooking then cleaned stove top and noticed a very small crack on burner! I had no idea where it came from. Noticed there was a small crack about 3/8 in long. I called with complaint and received call from Starkey Williams for repair, was told to take photo. Photo was sent to Samsung. The person from customer service said it was not covered because the warranty does not cover physical damage and said something was dropped on it and broke it. Drop damage??? I never dropped anything on it. Samsung refused to cover it stating physical damage not covered under warranty. Samsung refused to consider this could be manufactured defect stating it was physical damage. There is no indications that anything was dropped on it. Executive customer relations put me on hold for 45 min and then I was disconnected twice after waiting to speak to supervisor. Then finally was able to reach supervisor voice mail (what a surprise!), left message to return call and hopefully I will hear something soon. But will probably be told the same thing not covered under warranty, still not happy. Stove was recommended by Lowes rep! Samsung is the worst company I have ever dealt with!! Still fighting to see what someone can do.UPDATED ON 09/02/2015: Update to my complaint about Ceramic cook top model# NE59J342*SS. After several calls to Samsung and from Starkey Williams with no solution except for me to pay out of pocket for the cost of parts, labor and repair of range (approximately $300.00 for new cooktop and $175.00 for service call). Since I had purchased this range less than three months ago, I became very frustrated and decided to contact Lowes with my problem. I informed them of the complaint and was told I should have come to them first. I then quoted to Lowes the electrical safety warning statement from page 6 of the Samsung user manual. If your appliance malfunctions or if fractures, cracks or splits appear, switch off all cooking zones, unplug the range from the AC wall outlet and contact your local service center. (That sounds like this is not a new complaint, may have happen to someone else?) I didnt know who the local service center was, so I contacted Samsung with no help. Lowes instructed me to contact Lowes Advantage warranty service. I did and again no help as their warranty only covers what Samsung warranty covers, and does not cover physical damage. So, now what? I looked on back of sales receipt for Lowes return policy and found at Lowes, customer satisfaction is their goal. So, I hoped they might be able to repair or replace the item since it was purchased less than 90 days ago. Second trip to Lowes and discussion with appliance sales person and manager I was granted a solution and that was to replace the damaged range with another same model range. Im happy Lowes was able to help me and hope that I dont have any problems with this range. The delivery person said he was surprised of problem with Samsung range as he felt Samsung was a good company and made good products. I hope hes right. Thank you Lowes for your support in this issue.

Samsung electric slide-in range. First -- Samsung does not honor its warranties. Second -- in a period of 3 years, the left front burner cause a break in the glass in the same place while boiling water on 8, not high. After pressing Samsung relentlessly and being accused of lying, they finally replaced the top, but with no additional warranty. Their repair people here in Ill, Unique didnt even run diagnostics. Less than one year later the same burner caused the same break with the same configuration as stated above. I was across the room, no I didnt hit the glass and no Im not a liar. Third -- I did manage to set a hot dog on fire using the broiler. I let the fire burn out as trying to fix it would add oxygen and thats not a great idea. It burned out the oven altogether. The oven will no longer work at all. Finally -- as for operation --- If you lean on the control system at all -- say to lift a pot from the back burner, you will likely turn on another burner or turn your oven on or off without knowing it. Great product. So, after spending too much on an inferior product I am now in the position of having to spend even more money to purchase a new oven. One might also consider the battery and glass problems that Samsung has had with their phones. Inferior glass... Inferior sub-contractors (Unique)... Inferior claims dept. Dont do this to yourself.

Our Samsung Microwave SMH9187S had to have its motherboard replaced twice now in less than 3 years due to SE error and while run a few seconds and stopping. According to their own technical repair specialist it is a design problem with moisture which occurs when cooking food on the stove below their over-the-range Samsung Microwave SMH9187S units (Very Expensive Issue to continually have to fix). See all the complaints with Samsung on the Internet regarding not fixing known design and potential safety issues with its products and discontinuing them once issues start to mount to avoid additional liability. They just say its out of warranty and not our problem, call a Samsung authorized service company to have repairs made. This will be the last Samsung product we ever buy again (that includes everything Samsung makes from refrigerators, oven, stoves washers, dryers, phones, tablets, TVs, laptops, electronics, etc. And especially microwaves). When a company knowing refuses to stand behind its product design defects the only course for consumers is to not trust or purchase any products from that company and warn all your friends and neighbors regarding of the companies business practices after the sale and they have got your money. This Samsung refrigerator was bought at Sears in winter of 2011. Model number RF266AEPN. Over the past year, we have had to defrost it twice for several days in order to let the ice melt and soak up the resulting water with towels. I clean the back lower area too but this has not been dirty. The problem starts with the back inside vents icing up and the fan begins to make noise. Eventually the temp rises. This is happening again after only 6 weeks. I have not contacted Sears or Samsung as I know it is beyond warranty but I plan to call anyway. I already know I will never buy another Samsung. Dangerous and scalding to the touch (on the outside) on self-cleaning mode, melted my cupboards on both sides of the range. Of course Samsung will not acknowledge that there is a problem with this unit doing this. Leons Furniture (where I bought it from) will not accept any responsibility either. They (Samsung) is now telling us that the consumer needs at least 3 inches on each side of the range for clearance (who in the heck would build an opening that huge for their range and it would also be aesthetically ugly) and how stupid would that look for a slide in range (the glass top would not sit on top of the counter then??). Then the next excuse is that you should pull your range out every time you self-clean... really?? (Not with my bad back!) Strange that in every distributor that sells this range such as Lowes, Home Depot, Leons that their display models do not have a huge 3 in gap on both sides of the range, can you say FALSE ADVERTISING!Before I bought this monstrosity I had a Kenmore slide in range and never, EVER, did I have a high heat/scalding to the touch issue with it, it never caused damage to the surrounding cupboards either. Beware of this extremely dangerous product and most of all they (Samsung) will take your money but they surely dont care if they damage your newly remodeled kitchen. Warning... keep children and pets away from this dangerous product. I now see why they have so many complaints about phones, dryers and now stoves. At least stand behind your product if they damage a consumers property!

I purchased a Samsung dishwasher, model DD81-01549A_EN a little over a year and a half ago. It is the worst purchase I have ever made. The dishes do not come clean unless you wash them prior to putting them in the dishwasher (kind of defeats the purpose). If you have cereal bowls, forget about finding a good way to load them. The bottom rack tines are at an odd angle and hold some plates too close together. The silverware must be rinsed and loaded working end up, and dont put 2 spoons in the same bin. I purchased a Samsung refrigerator in 2013 RS265TDRS. Immediately the ice maker had issues, and I have to continue to defrost the ice maker monthly and the dispenser gets clogged. It was embedded in the door, now I see they have abandoned that approach. My bigger issue is that this year the refrigerator stopped working and wouldnt cool. The temperature gauge showed 38 degrees but it was warm and all food spoiled. Had to pay a repairman to come out and tell us this is a common problem with Samsung refrigerators and they need to be defrosted constantly, especially in humid areas and not to use the energy saving setting. He basically indicated the auto defrost is no longer working and it would be cheaper to buy a new fridge than to fix this one. Even though Samsung shows 10 year warranty on the compressor, what good is that if you cant use the fridge after only 6 years and after talking to Samsung they only cover their product for 1 year. Lowes had a 3 year extended warranty. Repairman said he has better experiences with other brands.

The fan blade to cool the coils was also dirty and the water sump was full. I vacuumed as much of the build-up I could out of there, then unplugged the unit and used a small air compressor I have for sport balls and tires to blow out as much dust from the coils as I could. I then carefully cleaned off the fan blades with hot water and dish soap, with a sponge. The blades are plastic so I took my time. It will make a mess to clean up, but it should probably be done yearly, spring cleaning (Mine is about 3 years old and most complaints come after 2 years). I also removed the water from the drip pan under the coil with the small wet/dry vac I used. I plugged the unit back in and put the cover back. The freezer seems to be working. I will buy a thermometer to put in there to keep an eye on it as I do not trust the readout on the fridge itself. The site I used also said I should remove all items from the unit and let it sit unplugged with all doors open for 24 hours. This is to clear any drains blocked with ice. This will only work if you have a second refrigerator to put your food in to keep cold, which I do not. My issue is that there should be an error code on the readout of the unit that instructs a cleaning of the coils is due yearly, since this is a $2,500.00 unit!

Four days ago, wife went for ice cream and all items in freezer were melted, ice cubes and all frozen items melted. There are only 2 adults in this house and we eat out all the time so this appliance is not abused, opened and closed 500 times a day by 5 kids. Wife calls Samsung and gets the run around from someone reading a card...do this, do that, and next day, thanks to the idiot, the temperature had gone up another 10 degrees. We called again and again, got another idiot reading off another card that could not give any usable information, and the best they could do is set us up with a generic all-brand appliance repair private contractor whom, after checking the c/os against him, sounded shady.I cancelled the call and took a bullet with Sears $275 plus tax $294 on top of the ton of money this hunk of Asian crap cost me (the contractor grade American fridge I got with the townhouse was working fine for 28 years until I unplugged it the day this crap came into my house). So much for Asian technology, and do not expect any red carpet treatment from Samsung CSRs!!!!! I am so sorry I bought this!!! And will never call Samsung again. As absurd as it may sound, a Honda service writer may have offered better information as what to do to check the appliance!

Samsung RB194ACW/XAC - I purchased this stylish, freezer on the bottom, Samsung refrigerator in mid-2010. After two weeks, the digital temperature display panel on the front was showing errors in the shape of the numbers and some bars of color were missing. The fridge seemed to be operating okay, but a year and 2 days after purchase, the refrigerator portion of the device began to stop cooling. The temperature readings on the front were whacky-looking and the inside of the fridge was clearly warm and foods began to spoil. The fridge was on and running, but there was no cooling effect. This started on Thanksgiving weekend, with a large family meal on. The freezer (on the bottom of the unit) was still working. A call to Samsung Canada was very unsatisfactory. I was told, curtly, that the refrigerator was past its warranty and they would not help me. The warranty was two days expired. I called the store that sold it to me. No help there either. I paid a private appliance repair company $340.00 to have the sensor repaired and a new temperature digital panel installed. It took 2.5 months for the parts to come in and three visits by a repairperson. The first two digital panels arrived in the wrong color. Today, less than two weeks following the repair, the fridge is again not cooling. The digital panel says it is 4 degrees in the fridge, but its very warm in the fridge and food has again begun to go off. The freezer still works. I removed the back protective panel and found the fridge coils completely iced up and the tiny plastic fan that is supposed to move air over the coils is encased in ice and inoperable.I guess Ive been dealt a lemon. I will not have this fridge repaired again. After reading many identical complaints on this and other sites, I realized that Samsung has produced a refrigerator system that has known functional defects - which they continue to market and sell to unsuspecting customers like me. Ignoring customer complaints and providing no follow-up or interest in customer satisfaction is the Samsung way when it comes to their flawed refrigerator design. I will never purchase another Samsung product as a result.

Samsung is a joke. We have a refrig, under warranty. They sent a tech 3 times, 3rd time (after charging us a total of $220) declared nonrepairable and theyd send a check for the invoice total (we submitted all they asked for, including a photo that wed cut the cord!). Promised refund on 9/12/2018. 10/12/2018 the chat guy doesnt answer. Nothing sent. They have trained people to keep you in a crazy loop that makes you think theyre working on the problem. In the end, nothing has happened but empty promises. Do NOT purchase SAMSUNG. Theres a reason for the low rating.

I purchased my Samsung refrigerator in 2015 from Home Depot. I will never buy Samsung again nor an appliance from Home Depot. Approximately 6 months ago I noticed bubbling of the finish on the front with peeling. This includes the left door where the ice maker is located, the drawer and the freezer drawer. The surfaces are raised from the inside out which to me indicates rust. As I began my process to complain I began with Home Depot who informed me my extended warranty didnt cover cosmetic problems. From there directly to Samsung who has consistently refused to stand behind their product. Almost telling me it is my fault. Well what about quality of the product and consumer satisfaction? In the business we own, quality is our most important aspect. Without good quality and willingness to stand behind your products you are nothing. No more Samsung for this family. I found Samsung to be unprofessional in the way this was handled and have complained to the Office of the President without results. Stay away from Samsung.

We purchased the Samsung induction range 4 years ago. Thankfully we bought the extended warranty as weve used it no less than 5 times so far. Weve basically had the entire stove rebuilt as the oven temperature doesnt hold well owing to issues with (1) the fans; (2) the sensors; (3) the motherboard/control panel. Most recently the top of our range cracked as well. This is an incredibly low quality company both in terms of their products and their service. I would NEVER buy another samsung appliance and would caution anyone about buying one if youre seeking to have it last more than 1-2 years. If youre intent on buying one, buy any and all extended warranties available as you will absolutely need them.

We purchased a Samsung microwave, range and refrigerator and have nothing but problems with all of them. The microwave literally didnt work when it was installed and needed to be replaced. The refrigerator needed 3 service calls and finally had the ice maker replaced. A shelf in the door of the refrigerator cracked and broke after 14 months (with yogurts in it) and now I need to buy another because it is past 12 months from purchase. The range has had 5 service calls and still not right. The stovetop cooks very hot. When the burners are on the lowest setting the fluid in the pan boils. The convection oven does nothing that a convection oven is supposed to do. It does not cook evenly nor faster at all. The left side of the oven cooks hotter than the right even after services calls with Samsung finally saying they cannot guarantee even cooking in the oven. For example if I have 2 bread loaves in the oven one will be done and the other is still raw inside. Everything that is cooked needs to be monitored because every time I cook it requires a different time to cook properly. Will never again purchase a Samsung appliance. Poor product with worse customer service.

Samsung dishwasher model DW80F800UWS was delivered on Nov. 28th. Looked great, but thats it. It left food in the bottom and food would be all over our other dishes too. My wife called the store we bought it from, Corbeil Appliance in Whitby. The sales lady told her she will have to call Samsung. So my wife did and they gave her a service center to call to check out the dishwasher. Now, the dishwasher never worked from the first day. My wife tried the dishwasher a few times and then called the store within 5 days of it being delivered. We should have been given a new dishwasher from the store and they should deal with Samsung for their horrible quality, but the store instructed my wife to call the service center. Can you believe a brand new Samsung product doesnt work the first time you try it and you have to call a service tech check it out? I guess that shows a lack of quality and assurance checks for Samsung. And Corbeil Appliance store should not be directing my wife to call Samsung after it never worked (and she called within 5 days of delivery). Anyways, the service tech came out on Dec.10th and said the sump pump is not working. They will order one from Samsung and then reschedule an appt. The next appt. was Dec.22 and the service tech put in the new sump pump and you guessed it... It did not work. So now it is almost 1 month later and we still do not have a working dishwasher. It is Dec. 23rd. Corbeil Appliances, the store we bought the Samsung dishwasher from does not care because they got our money no matter if the piece of crap works or not. Samsung doesnt care, when I called them they said I needed to have the service tech back. Why?, I asked. Samsung says, Because that is our policy, unless the service tech writes on the service order that the unit needs to be replaced. So I tried to call the service tech and they are on holiday until the New Year.So to sum it up, the Dishwasher was delivered on Nov. 28th and does not work, Corbeil Appliance was called to say the brand new appliance does not work. Corbeil Appliance told us to call Samsung. Called Samsung and we have a had 2 visits from the service tech and the dishwasher still does not work as of Dec.23rd. Samsung and Corbeil do not care that they sell brand new appliances that do not work. Please DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG products or buy from Corbeil Appliances in Whitby. To be continued in the 2016. Maybe the brand new dishwasher will be repaired during 2016 or who knows it could continue to 2017?

Im envious of the other reviewer who had to wait for major problems after 4 years. Weve owned our French Door model costing approx. $2,600 for 2 years. Repaired ice maker 3 times and now it just gave up, spewing metal parts into the ice tray. The attached photo shows what you can expect to find in your ice. Samsungs Indian Service Dept. just says were so sorry, please upload photos and we will contact you. 4 weeks in, no response despite many phone calls. Do not waste your time calling Samsung service. Buy an appliance from a company that at least pretends to care e.g GE or Kitchen Aid. Too bad, it looks beautiful and has all the features we wanted, but its garbage.

We have had our french door refrigerator serviced 3 times and need service again. First time was the ice maker. They have to replace the whole unit. Then the computer board went, not once but twice. Now the top half is not staying cool. For the price we had paid, this should not have happened in only 5 years. The repair cost so far has been over $1,000.00. If there is a class action against Samsung, I would love to know. I would love to get my repair cost and the cost of the unit reimbursed.

Yesterday I soaked up three large beach towels worth of water. Chilled out 1/2 ice that covered about 25% of space under drawer. The water gets so bad that it runs down on hard wood and warps it. Seems too happy when humidity is bad... Summer months. No repairman likes to work on Samsung. Great, but they should not be selling refrigerators. This an update on my trouble getting my Samsung refrigerator fixed. Its been going on for 6 weeks now. Granted we have been out of town for 2 of those weeks. First attempt to fix it was to replace the computer board ($375). This took almost 2 weeks due delay in getting first one that was on backorder and was defective so another had to be order. This didnt work. The repair people came back out and decided that it was the cooling fan BUT the fan is manufactures discontinued, so we have to buy the whole cooling panel of $180. The repair people and Lowes advised that the repair people write a letter stating the problems and what they have had to do and cost of fixing this problem and submit to Samsung for a possible credit for a new one. Fortunately we have the beer and watermelon refrigerator in the garage, which ironically is the one we replace with the high tech Samsung. I only wish I could sue them for forcing me to live with an unhappy wife for this long.

I just logged in to see if anything had changed. I purchased the Samsung set electric stove, fridge, dishwasher, microwave and washer dryer. This was for our winter home and used only 6 months a year. So other than entertaining these appliances do not get used. After reading these reviews Im feeling very lucky. After two years we are on our second stovetop that has exploded (and not covered by warranty). The top is so bad you can slice your hand open just by cleaning. The stove light stays on hot permanently, the cleaning feature has never worked, the heat is never even and the funniest thing is that the first time I cleaned it with Windex all of the numbers came off the dials. When I called them they agreed to cover it, wasted my time by sending out a repairman who then called me a liar and said I had broken the stove. I have never heard of such unethical handling in my life. I own apartments and have never had this problem with good old American products. And I will never shop at the store I purchased this at because they carried and supported such a horrible product.

Our Samsung fridge, purchased with our townhome in 2012 has an obnoxious odor coming from it. We have removed everything, turned off, cleaned thoroughly, restarted and still the odor persists. Smell does not come from anywhere specific (that we can locate) but is strong enough to permeate throughout our house. We called Samsung and were told to check our fridge for rotten food - daaah! Last month, I noticed the drinks werent cool, the vegetables started to wilt, and finally, the ice maker quit working on my less than 3-year-old Samsung French door refrigerator. I called Samsung and was switched from one person to another, telling my whole story over and over. Eventually, they gave me someone in Dallas who said they couldnt get anyone to come to my house for three days. I threw away all food, waited for the serviceman, and when he finally got here, was told the fan to the compressor was not working, but he did not have the part. I was charged $180 for his visit. He said he had to order the part and would try to be back Monday, another 3 days away. Monday he said the part wasnt in. Tuesday, the part wasnt in. Wednesday, the part FINALLY arrived and he came back and replaced the fan. Then, amazingly, that didnt work either. Now he said he had to replace the whole motherboard and I had to pay for both parts. After spending almost $500, I now had a refrigerator and freezer again after over 10 days. I am so upset. I saved for years to buy a new frig, spent a ton of money to buy it, and loved the new one until this happened. I thought they would do the right thing by at least coming quickly and making the repairs in a reasonable time and at a reasonable cost, but I was wrong. No more Samsung products for me no matter what.

I purchased my side by side fridge, model #RH25H5611SR/AA in October 2016.
I purchased my side by side fridge, model #RH25H5611SR/AA in October 2016. Mid July I noticed my fridge temp blinking. Got the manual to reset and it stated that because the temp has been changed it would take a moment for the blinking to stop. So, left it alone and when I awoke no more blinking. Two days later, July 18, 2016 the refrigerator temp is blinking again. This time I make a call to Samsung but now the now is set and no longer blinking; two days later after this it starts to blink again and I make a call to Samsung again on July 20, 2016. Im told to unplug or disconnect the power from the unit; I do this but when plugged in 2-3 minutes later the blinking has stopped but now my temp for the refrigerator is reading 61 degrees Fahrenheit. I give this info to the customer service rep who tells me that this is okay and that the temp will drop and to use the fast cool function. Now I got my first service call number on the 18th and at that time provided all the necessary information to the representative. On the 20th I asked if a new service call number would be given and was told that it wasnt necessary, the first service number was still valid. Anyway, the following morning the refrigerator is still reading 61 degrees. I call Samsung customer service on July 21, 2016, give this customer service rep the whole story from beginning to end only to be asked for the serial & model numbers. This info should have been in my file as it was given on July 18th. Anyway, once this info is provided again this individual wants to send me through all the troubleshooting steps I have already taken. When I explain that these things have already been completed with no resolution he wants to tell me that I will be responsible for charges if a technician is sent out. To say the least I explain once again to this individual that the troubleshooting has already taken place and it didnt work and I need a technician. He complies but now it will take 24-48 hours before I will be contacted. Was contacted by the service tech on Sunday evening that I had to be available between the hours of 12pm to 3pm. I get a call that the tech is running late and will arrive after 3pm. He arrives & checks out the unit. He turns to me and states that I need a new compressor. He goes on to say that this is a regular problem with this particular unit. The part has to be ordered and will take approximately 3-5 days for delivery and then they will contact me for repairs. My question is has anyone else had this problem? Is there a recall? Again, the technician stated that this is a common problem. I purchased my appliances at hhgregg and got the whole suite to include dishwasher, range & microwave. Was told that this was the top of the line appliance package. I also have Samsung washer & dryer (Home Depot). Did a little research prior to purchase but mostly price comparison but I apparently missed this site. Had I read all these reviews prior I would not have purchased all these Samsung appliances. Praying that my products dont fail but will definitely obtain some type of extended warranty to protect myself. It wont be Samsung.

We moved into a townhouse with Samsung Appliances - stove, refrigerator and microwave. The refrigerator periodically buzzes so loud it is obnoxious for a relatively new but out of warranty refrigerator at 6 years old. (Our 22 year old Kenmore at the family cabin is still as quiet as the morning dawn.) I was told by Samsung help to connect the ice maker and the buzzing noise should go away. I had to hire a plumber to run a water line to the refrigerator and connect it. $500 later, I still had a buzzing refrigerator. I called Samsung and was informed the only thing they could offer was their authorized repair service to come out to our seasonal Minnesota townhome and fix it as it is out of warranty. Unique Services Repair Tech came out and felt like the noise was fan-related and recommended replacing fan. Part needed to be ordered, Tech returned a week later, installed and another $500; today we still have a buzzing refrigerator. Called Samsung and a different Unique Services Tech visited over a week later and said the refrigerator is just noisy and the noise cannot be eliminated. We have spent $1000 and still have a buzzing refrigerator. We should have been told that the Samsung model we have runs loud and it cannot be fixed. We would have bought a new refrigerator. The first Unique Services Tech should have told me our refrigerator model runs loud and we cannot fix it. Instead, we spend $365 for a new fan plus the service call $’s charge for a part not needed. Both Samsung and Unique Services are yet to reply to my bad experience. I suspect both Samsung and Unique Service Repair are better than this. From a Customer Service standpoint, I am disappointed at being blown off by their non response to my communicated concerns.

First, I must tell you this refrigerator was purchased for my 90-year old father who lived in the country by himself, 5 miles from any of his kids. It was purchased in 8/2011. Approximately one year later, it went into demo mode. Theres nothing in the book about it so I called Samsung. They said it had to be caused from a power surge and they told me to reset it, so I did. Approximately a month later, it did it again. This time, I did not call them. I reset it myself. On Oct. 31 of 2012, I had a knee replaced about three weeks after my dad called and said it went into demo mode again. My husband had to take me out there to reset it. It was on the weekend and we could not get a hold of Samsung, so I called my son-in-law who had had the same problems with his. He told me to unplug it and see if it would reset, which it did. It seems to work for a while. Again in Feb, it went into demo mode again. (When it does this, it is not working, no cold air.) Dad tried to reach us all day. Finally, he got a hold of us in the afternoon. The refrigerator had been off all day. My son-in-law went in the afternoon and turned the refrigerator back on. Samsung wont do anything because its been over a year. Lowes wont do anything because we did not buy the extended warranty. It has gone into demo once this month already. 1 1/2 years old and it is a pain in the butt for my whole family.

Houseful of Samsung Appliances and now I am stuck. Microwave takes forever to boil a cup of water for tea. Cheap handle broke off after 2 years. Dishwasher doesnt clean dishes, you must basically wash by hand before you put them in. French door refrigerator crapped under 3 yrs. Paid over $900 to fix. Icemaker was part of that fix, now a little over a year it stopped working again. Stove knobs all broke off gas stove... under 3 yrs old. Also dont bother using the cleaning mode on your gas stove. Its known to get so hot it fries the circuit board. Costly repair I had on that one.Washer tears clothes and cant use bleach anymore because it goes through the compartment prematurely and blotches my load. TVs lasted no more than 3 years and my phone sucks. I have wasted so much money let alone time waiting for service people to show... or not to show. Customer service... a total joke. Never willing to resolve issues. I have over $8000 in home appliances and electronics that, unfortunately dont know when they will see their day. But when its time, Samsung will never again be my choice. Cant afford to buy junk anymore. But they dont care. They got my money. Dont let them get yours!

Numerous calls back and forth between Samsung and Lowes customer support where I was told by ** at Samsung that she could send a repairman out but this would be at my expense. She also tells me my one year manufacturers warranty was non existent because the date that the refrigerator was made is the date the warranty starts. So my 5 month old fridge was out of warranty. Again 2 weeks without a refrigerator and numerous calls later Lowes comes through for me and exchanges my dead Samsung for another Samsung. This one had a much shorter life expectancy and expired 51 days after delivery. Lowes again came through for me with another exchange... a Whirlpool. I have sent a letter to Samsung and described in great detail the problems that I encountered with the first refrigerator and have yet to hear from them. Had I known the 2nd one was also going to lay down so quick, I would have saved myself a stamp.

OK, I am a very seasoned mechanic. I put a new bearing set in my pile of crap, front-loader Maytag washer. I can fix anything from a BMW to a microwave. I bought this SAMSUNG at LOWES and right after the warranty, the auto and normal lights blink, it stops mid-cycle and take like six reboots to even get going, and 80 percent of the time, same thing, the lights are back. The drain lines good. It hooked to hot water line. Its just a big pile of crap like every other post here. I will pull it out and start to fix it today. From day one the soap packs hung up. If you dont use a rinse product, it WILL NOT CLEAN DISHES. Its freakin required! DO NOT BUY A SAMSUNG DISHWASHER!!! Lucky me, I can fix this crap pile, pull it out, and Craigslist it goes. Awful product. They should be ashamed.

Samsung knows their refrigerators have a defective ice maker design causing them to freeze over and stop working. Theyve refused to rectify this. Additionally Samsung refrigerators only keep food cold if they are filled to only 2/3 capacity. They know this defect and continue to manufacture them. I will never own another Samsung refrigerator.

We purchased a RF32FMQDBXW Refrigerator French 4 Door 2/15/14 brand new and registered it with Samsung, which we had a 1 year purchase warranty and advise them of who we bought it from new. And if they were not authorized, we didnt know it at the time with the vendor at purchase time or with Samsung when we gave them the registration information for the warranty. After 6 months of having it, the ice maker stop working. We called and had repair person come. Well the repair called my husband instead of coming and told him what the issue was and my husband fixed the issue and Samsung sent us the part. Well after receiving so, my extended warranty request from Samsung Protection Plus department, I finally accepted the partial payment terms for 4 payments on 12/9/14. On 3/5/15 we realized the 2 top boxes were not getting cool. Called the extended warranty and they had us call a authorized repair company to come out. The repair guy worked on it for about 1 hour and advises he would come back to see if the refrigerator temp would go down as it had been at 48, spoiling all things in the refrigerator. The repair came back around 3 and advises that he will have to call warranty because the refrigerator had to be replaced because it cant be repaired in USA and to allow 48 hours for the report to show since it was on a Friday, and was given a 700 which was to be a Urgent code #. We called to just make sure every had our information on 3/6/15.We received several calls, there we faxed and emailed receipts of purchase and was told to check back on Monday the 9th. My husband spoke to 7 different people and received 4 different ticket #s from 3/9 to 3/11. When 3 of the persons stated we would receive a refund and that someone would call back with details after verify proof of purchase 3 times. My husband called around 6 pm central time and spoke to another rep from Samsung who stated she didnt see a refund, she need to do another verification and that after reviewing the account, because we didnt buy it from a authorized dealer, they cant honor anything very RUDELY. We are without a Refrigerator and now you tell us this over a year or more, they have known who and where to purchase the refrigerator. Everything appliance in our home is Samsung, never again. I will be looking to inquire about starting a CLASS ACTION suit.

I purchased French door fridge (Model RFG298AARS) in May 2010. To be safe, also bought the extended warranty. First problem occurred within 6 months - some sort of electronic (control board) problem. Still under warranty, so no cost issue. The part was replaced at no charge. Serviceman suggested a surge suppressor to help prevent damage to electronic components. Got one and have had no similar problems since. After about a year, ice started forming under the pull-out meat tray, freezing it in place and making it difficult to open. The service tech said it was a manufacturing defect and ground off part of the drip pan. Seems to have corrected the problem. Without the extended warranty, I would be facing a large repair bill. I have also had problems with my Samsung dishwasher and electric stove. l am very disappointed with Samsung kitchen appliances and will not purchase in the future.

We purchased a Samsung fridge model number RF217ACRS on September 19th 2010
We purchased a Samsung fridge model number RF217ACRS on September 19th 2010 from Sears outlet in Connecticut. We have three very small children: a 4-year old, 14-month old and a 2-month old. This past weekend my daughter was getting ice out of the freezer. My 14-month old son walked over to the side. She shut the freezer and my son let out this blood curdling scream. My husband scooped him up and there was blood everywhere. We realized something serious had happened. His finger tip had been cut off. We had to get his finger tip out of the side rail and rush him to the E.R. where he was then transported to the childrens hospital to reattach his finger tip. Unfortunately, his little finger was so small that they could not attach it. It was cut off clean at the joint above his knuckle. His little hand is maimed. It will never look normal. It was incredibly traumatizing for my husband and I. In a million years, we would never think a freezer drawer would pose as a danger in amputating a finger. This is beyond a faulty product. This is encompassing design flaw as well.

Bought this unit 3 years ago and now in the middle of the night it starts beeping showing error code SE and will not work. I made soup on the burner. This is an over range unit. Under the control pad and apparently the stream damaged the keypad controls and rendered the unit inoperable. What a sham. What did the engineers, if there were any, think that the operating environment of this model oven would be, arid? I will not buy anything with Samsung on it for the rest of my life and will take my business to other than Lowes. What a scam. Please notify me of any group suit against Samsung for this unit.

I purchased my Samsung refrigerator (Model: RS277) almost 4 years to date. Ice maker will no longer make ice. After calling the service center, they dispatched a service call. When the representative called to schedule an appointment, they wanted $160 to come out and diagnose the issue. I dont agree with paying $2,800 for an item and getting 4 years of good use out of it, nor do I feel I should have to continue to invest in this item to keep it working, especially in this short period of time. I spoke to an Executive Relations representative, and they were of no assistance either. Pretty much sticking to their guns of driving revenue to service their junk. If you are shopping for a refrigerator, I strongly discourage you from buying Samsung. I certainly never will again.

The refrigerator is 3 months out of warranty and I just started to have a freeze up problem on the coil and fan motor behind the rear interior wall. The service tech has been out 4 times over a short period of time and still cant fix the problem. I spent over $1000 just to be told this week from Samsung that the refrigerator cant be fixed because of a FLAW. I asked them for some type of credit and they refused. Thats it for Samsung. I am buying another brand and if there is a class action suit count me in.

I have had my Samsung range for less than 4 years. The first time I use my broiler for an extended period of time, I receive an error message. I followed the troubleshooting information. I am told it will cost a minimum of $80 for repairs. I was given an account reference number of **, but no support or recommended solution.

Two technicians from two separate repair places were sent by Samsung and each said the diagnostics were not showing a problem so the unit is working correctly and the company is not at fault. Well the dishes do not get clean, the dryer does not dry, the glasses break because they fall over, and the water glasses actually have food spattered and dried on them when they are removed from the unit. Shame on Samsung for producing a dishwasher that actually ultimately makes glasses dirtier than when they were placed in the machine!
