We purchased a Samsung French Door Fridge and purchased a warranty with it. Within a few months the compressor died. While I can understand that equipment may occasionally be defective, what I was more shocked about was the terrible service in honoring their warranty. We got a runaround for TWO WEEKS before a serviceman made his way to our house only to tell us that the fridge could not be repaired. It took another two weeks to get it replaced. Shame on you! I will never purchase another Samsung product, and would advise the rest of you not to.

After 6 months the ice maker would not give whole cubes. This got progressively worse until all I got was crushed ice. Samsung replaced Ice Maker but, again, problem came back. By now refrigerator was out of warranty and Samsung would not do anything! This is probably design defect as so many others have same problem and Samsung cannot correct it. In addition. I also have spot about 3/4 in. long below ice maker where the paint is coming off and, again, Samsung says its cosmetic and not covered. I guess it doesnt bother the company how the product looks and works after theyve made the sale! My recourse is not to buy their products nor recommend them.

After 2 years, we started having trouble with our Samsung double door refrigerator freezing up. We had a technician out to fix it and he replaced the whole back panel. It worked for a couple of months and then began to freeze up again. The same technician came out again and we were chatting about what was happening and he suddenly realized the problem was that when you close the front doors, the piece that seals between the doors was no longer turning properly in the slot to seal between the doors, but rather just staying straight ahead leaving an opening where warm air could enter and the fridge would work overtime. He said there is a piece that often doesnt get installed when the fridge is delivered that keeps this from happening and over time the left door had moved down slightly causing the piece to not turn correctly. It was a simple fix to the left door raising it slightly so that the doors are now sealing properly. So far the fridge seems to be working better. I hope this helps someone else having these issues.

We bought a Samsung RT72SBSM about 2 years ago and it just stopped cooling one day. After checking, the compressor is found busted and they would charge me USD150 for labor and for fixing the gas, which are not under warranty. When I queried Samsung about why their fridge died only after 2 years, instead of apologizing, the Samsung person retorted, we dont know the lifetime of our fridges. They should know. Its their product. They should have some sort of indication that this is a faulty fridge and they are doing what they can to rectify it. Saying they dont know simply takes them away from being accountable to make good products. Samsung is a horrible horrible brand, with absolutely, incredibly lousy customer service. Avoid all Samsung products at all cost, please!

The refrigerator side does not stay cold. Ive had technicians come to the house three times. Ive been told that Samsung has flaws in the design that cause critical areas to freeze up. Once frozen, you have to turn off the refrigerator for a few days to let it de-thaw, then turn it back on again. If that were not enough, because the outlet for the defrost water becomes frozen, you have to chip ice out of the bottom every few weeks. Do not buy Samsung!

French door refrigerator with bottom freezer. At seven months old the freezer handle broke from the freezer door. This was from normal everyday use. So poorly designed. Samsung refused to stand behind their product, after all, they already had our money from the purchase. Hard to believe a major company wouldnt be embarrassed by their own substandard craftsmanship. Not the best way to build a brand. Plastic mounts built into the door snapped off from simply opening it. Never again will I purchase anything with the Samsung name. PhilAshland, MA

We have a new GAS Samsung slide in range. After we did self cleaning the range stopped working, dead, no lights and the burners would not light and door locked. Tech came out, replaced all items, still did not fix the range. He stated it is not repairable and from the number of calls, I have had no help from Samsung and no customer service. They do not want to help the consumer. We still have the non working range and have not been contacted by Samsung. Never buy one of their product or you will be in the same mess, out the $$$ and with a dead unit that still need to be replace. 5,000.00 in the hole.

June of 2014 we purchased a Samsung refrigerator model# RS261MDRS/XAA. As soon as it was delivered and installed we left for vacation for 3 months. When we returned, a corrosive stain was on the water dispenser that cannot be removed. We did not even hook up water supply so it was not caused by water. Contacted Samsung, they sent out a service tech to look at the issue. Samsung concluded it was a COSMETIC ISSUE. As of now after many calls to Samsung they stick to their conclusion. So I have a brand new damaged refrigerator caused by a defect in manufacturing. This substance is like a acid that came from above and ate the plastic insert. There is no way in this world that this issue was caused by the consumer. Where I stand now is if I call service on this issue it would be at my expense. Hands are tied on a cosmetic issue. SAMSUNG, you need to listen to the consumer instead of text book notes.

Purchased Samsung refrigerator Model# RS554NRUASL/TC June 2013 from SM North Appliance. 1st month of using this unit is good, my electric bill went down but on the 2nd month (July 2013) refrigerator stopped cooling. Called Samsung. They gave me instructions to reset cooling by unplugging the unit for at least 30 seconds then replug it. Ive tried 5 times the whole day. It didnt work. Called Samsung. They referred me to their authorized Home Service Center. The technicians came the next day, they check the unit. They said that there was a leak, so they told me that theyre going to order the parts needed. After 4 days they came back to fixed the leak. After 3 hours looking for the leak, they said that the leak was inside the unit. They cant fix it. Theyre going to forward the problem to Samsung. So Samsung contacted me, they ask me to go to our dealer for the replacement of my unit. The 2nd new unit delivered (August 2013), it last 10 months. The same problem with the 1st unit happened again. So they replace it again, the 3rd unit delivered (July 2014). After 6 months of using the 3rd unit the same problem occurred again. Same procedure with the 1st, 2nd and 3rd unit was made. Then 4th unit with the same model delivered (February 2015). Last October 2015, there it goes again. The technician came, fixed it, after 3 days it broke again. They fixed it again. After 3 weeks it broke again. I really had enough with this unit. So disappointed...

We purchased a Samsung French Door refrigerator six months ago. Since then, we have had a service call on the ice maker (which was not screwed into the mounting and fell so you couldnt open/close the freezer door). Today, the food was melted and the refrigerator warm. Lights and temp gauges showed it was working properly. Spent 45 minutes on the phone with Samsung to get authorization of warranty to call a local appliance man. Now they will not even give me a date when it might be fixed. They will call me when they are available to come to my home. Best guess is four days away as the soonest!!!The appliance is not worth the money, and the service and warranty are definitely not customer oriented! I would definitely not recommend a Samsung, and will NEVER purchase again!

Returned home after 3 hour absence to find my 3 year old Samsung microwave baking a non existent potato. The menu was flashing baking potato. I have no idea how long it was on and turning it off & on twice did not help. I ended up shutting down the fuse on the circuit board. Repairs totaled $175. Totally unacceptable. I am elderly and live alone so no question of excessive use. I wish I had seen this review forum first and I would not have repaired it at all. Very unhappy...

We renovated our entire kitchen in Samsung appliances. Our $3,300.00 4-door flex refrigerator lasted 2.5 years and my wife and I have been fighting with customer service (CS), since November 2017, to get them to honor their warranty. CS initially sent an authorized service person who tried to fix it and recharged the refrigerant. He stated that if this didnt fix the issue, since it was a sealed system, it is un-repairable. It worked for approximately 2 months and the issue returned. This points to a slow leak in the sealed system which has a 5 yr part/labor warranty. Next time we called they claimed they couldnt issue another ticket because our serial number had a refund already issued against it, though the refund wasnt in our name or sent to us. We feel their error is not our problem and shouldnt delay our warranty service request. They wouldnt budge.Since then weve heard nothing but excuses and well call you in a week. Another CS rep claimed the vendor (Home Depot) must have shipped a unit that had been previously returned (laughable), Home Depot doesnt stock the appliances theyre shipped straight from Samsung. We both actually heard these claims on our phone. Every time you call you have to re-explain the issue to them and Im sure they keep a file on your case. Now theyre asking me to remove the label from the appliance and send a picture to them (doesnt that invalidate the warranty?). This has been the most frustrating experience weve ever had. Youd think such a big company would want their name to stand out in a positive light. WE ARE NEVER BUYING ANOTHER SAMSUNG APPLIANCE AGAIN. Im contacting my states Attorney Generals office and the FTC about our issue. We may not be able to get financial relief but, if it is determined that what theyre doing is illegal, they will spend money in legal fees and fines. There are state and federal consumer laws regarding warranties. I hope this word gets out so maybe theyll change their ways. Best to document all contacts with them to show how they treat you. Their service techs dont give paperwork so you gotta keep all emails, texts msg, phone records to present your case.

I am very unhappy with my samsung dishwasher. It was only three and half years old and the soap dispenser broke, the top rack wouldnt side out, because the cheap plastic piece that moves the rack in and out broke. Then the drain error and low water level starts flashing code symbols comes on, and the dishwasher just stops. I DID call the samsung eight hundred number, and the lady just mostly said sorry, its out of warranty. We cant help you. Call for repairs. Then try to find some one in the area that works on samsung. No one works on them. I had a maytag dishwasher that I replaced this one with, that was twenty years old (even dried the dishes, which this samsung doesnt dry the dishes, they are still wet) and it still worked, except the bottom was rusting out. So now I have been looking around for a replacement, and I am totally confused as to what to get. Can anyone help me?

Had the Samsung refrigerator a little over a month and the ice maker stopped working. Called customer service who ran me through 15 minutes of tests then said a technician would call within 48 hours to come out and repair the fridge. Two days later after not getting a call, I called Samsung again and was informed that the last person I talked to must have forgot to assign a technician. I was then instructed to run through the same 15 minutes of tests and told (once again) a technician would call within 48 hours. The next day a Samsung representative called and while I assumed he was the technician calling to set up an appointment, he told me that no, he was in the product dept and was just calling to see if my ice maker was still broken. The only purpose for his call was to inform me that it would be ANOTHER 48 hours for a technician to call me.When I asked if the technician would call over the weekend, he responded that some work weekends, some dont. I asked to speak to his manager and he told me his manager was unavailable. Three days later and seven days after my initial call a local technician finally called me. He instructed me to push buttons on my freezer that I did not have and besides the fact that he sounded 12, he was completely confused as to which model I had and told me an engineer would call me back. When I asked how long that would take he said he didnt know, the engineer was in the field. As of the time of this review my freezer is still broken, there is no set time for the technician to come out and I have wasted my time on the phone with this horrible, incompetent company. I will NEVER buy another Samsung product again and can honestly say this is one of the WORST companies I have ever dealt with.

I purchased a gas range on 1/1/2019 and paid $721 for it and that does not include the delivery, install and 3 year extended warranty. I have had a problem obtaining proper temperature since beginning. A service person came out and said there was nothing he could do and I could just change the temperature on my own. I believe the oven bake temp is correct after using the instructions in manual, but the convection oven temp is still about 25-50 degrees off. There is no way to adjust that. I filed another complaint after serviceman and just got a call from Samsung that it is my fault and there is nothing they can do. I got this stove mainly because it was a Samsung and it has a convection bake feature. Now I will not be able to use convection unless I want burnt or undercooked food. I am so angry. I have a Samsung phone, Samsung washer and dryer and a Samsung microwave. Never again. I will never buy Samsung nor will I ever recommend anyone else I know to make the same mistake.

The ice build-up under the meat drawer has also been a non-stop problem. I replaced my refrigerator which had served me 27 plus years (it was Whirlpool). I wanted to upgrade, so my son recommended Samsung. It has only been 6 yrs., but the plastic shelves were so brittle on both the refrigerator and freezer. It only took 2 years when these shelves were showing signs of undurability. We are only 3, 65-year-old plus women (sisters) in the household, so we are very careful on our belongings. I am not in the position anymore to buy new ones since I am on fixed income and cant afford to make a big purchase. But now I have to make a loan to buy a new one. When we open the refrigerator and freezer, we get so disgusted. It cost me so much money that it makes me sick to my stomach that this expensive refrigerator is a piece of crap! I will not buy anything Samsung. I’m going to look for Maytag, Whirlpool, or Frigidaire. I dont trust these new companies! I hope Samsung will do something about my problem. I can send them pictures of the shelves.

At first the ice maker was the only problem. That happen about 6 months after we bought it. And the noise of the ice dropping (when it did finally drop, most of the time it was just stuck and tapping loudly) it sounded like a crash in the house. Next the repairman ordered a part that would fix it. It did not. When we called him back he said Samsung does not provide a repair manual and not many people have luck getting the ice maker to function properly. Then the whole control panel went out. Bought a Samsung dishwasher from Best Buy and had installed late Jan 2014. Once installed had service come out to the house FOUR (4) times to repair. Would just stop working. It never cleaned that well. Glasses always came out dirty. So here we are AGAIN, the dishwasher has stopped working but because we are now over a year they say our warranty is out and refuse to fix it. If you buy a brand new product and within the first year need service 4 times, dont you think there is an issue? And its convenient that the last time they came out they said if we needed service again they would just replace it... Its pathetic Samsung does not stand behind their products. But I guess they really dont want to because its crap. And in my opinion, my warranty shouldve started over every time they had to come out and repair it.

Weve had a Samsung French Door fridge RF323TEDBSR/AA for almost 3 years (still relatively new). And on replacing the water filter, the filter port began to drip leak with or without the filter. Because it was out of the 1 year warranty, we had to pay $158 parts and $130 labor to replace the entire filter port. We purchased this refrigerator less than two years ago. It worked OK for maybe a year and then the dispensing ice maker started making horrible noises, dispensing wet ice, cubes freezing together in the ice bin. I ended up simply turning it off and just using the ice maker located in the freezer compartment.Around the end of the first year, we began hearing an annoying clicking sound, which was caused by the cooling fan inside the back panel being COMPLETELY encased in ice.I research this model refrigerator on the internet and found a myriad of Folks having the same issues. For the next 3 years, I periodically had to either use a hairdryer for a quick fix or remove the entire back panel to de-ice the entire bank of cooling coils per instructions on YouTube from dozens of unfortunate Consumers who purchased this piece of junk.ALSO, there are MANY Class Action Lawsuits listed on the internet related to Samsung poor engineering of the automatic defrost function(s) of this particular model. In 50+ years of marriage, we have purchased 8 - 10 refrigerators for our homes and have NEVER had an experience such as this. Today, we took delivery of a new refrigerator. Suffice it to say, it was NOT a Samsung. Samsung should be ashamed to have placed such a poorly engineered product on the market. I would STRONGLY recommend that anyone reading this NEVER purchase a Samsung refrigerator....They did not stand behind this product.

I purchased my refrigerator on the 16-7-13 model SR690GDLS, 7 months later there was a bubble in the door underneath the water dispenser. The whole door was replaced on the 1-4-17 and the top drip tray part that was faulty in its design as it had holes in it so the water would drip into the bottom tray. This was replaced with one that did not have any holes in it so the water could not go in to the bottom tray. I was told that this would fix the problem. Then after 3 months the plastic around the glass started to crack. I had them replaced on the 4-8-14. Samsung rang me a few days later and said they were extremely sorry for all the trouble and sent me two movie tickets. Two weeks later I notice another bubble on the new door. I rang Samsung again, they sent another door out and another top drip tray with no holes and replaced them on the 9-9-14 only 5 months since the last door was fitted. I suggested to the repairman that the underneath tray may be the faulty one as it was not replaced last time and that the same thing has happened again and that may be the problem and could he please replace that part also. He said that I would have to ring Samsung and order it so I rang Samsung while he was finishing off and they asked to speak to him. He told them that it wasnt faulty and that he replaced what was sent. I then explained the situation again to Samsung and said that that was his opinion. But my opinion is that it must be faulty as it is the only part that has not been replaced and I have had the same problem and do not want it to happen again. She said she would order the part and call me back. 30mins later she called and said they did not think that the part is faulty and that if I ask them to send it out, I have to pay for it. As you can see I am not happy with this situation and the problem is not fixed as I do not have a guarantee that it will not happen again.

We purchased an expensive Samsung refrigerator (model # RFG297AAWP). If any water from the water dispenser does not make it into the cup, it leaks behind the clear protective plastic coating on the refrigerator door. (Obviously it was not sealed properly... a manufacturers defect.) The water leaves unsightly stains on the refrigerator door that cannot be cleaned (because it is behind the plastic coating). It is embarrassing to have company over because the refrigerator looks filthy. Its frustrating that it is not cleanable. Samsung accepts no responsibility for this because they claim it is cosmetic in nature. Yes, my refrigerator still keeps the food cold... but it looks horrendous!Furthermore, Samsung has since changed the door. I was willing to pay $300 for a new door even though the issue was Samsungs fault. However, the replacement door does not match the other door. Samsung changed the look of the doors. (The new door is more squared off and less rounded, plus the handle is higher than the handle on the second door.) My only option is to replace BOTH doors at $600. Samsung claims no responsibility and will do nothing other than let me know its my problem to deal with. Never buy a Samsung refrigerator. Their customer service is poor and they accept responsibility for nothing! Im done with Samsung!

Its a gas stove with a blower in the oven, lets you air fry or roast, the only gripe I have with the unit is the stove top. The four burners arent regulated properly, they stay on high through 2/3 of the knob rotation making it difficult to get the exact temp youre looking for and the center burner that comes with a grill takes forever to heat up. It takes a good ten to fifteen minutes on high to get hot enough to cook pancakes.

Researched before purchasing, didnt find bad reviews. Bought 4/2018. Did first cleaning in December. Oven stopped during first cleaning and door wouldnt open. Contacted Samsung and they told us that the warranty had expired in 2017! Before we had purchased the appliance! It then took lots 10 days to get someone to come to fix it. When asked if this would happen again with cleaning mode, he replied that it probably would. Now, I ask, What good is the self cleaning feature on an oven, if you cant use it? He also said that this is common with Samsung ovens. Ralph Nader, where are you?

We have had nothing but trouble since we bought a Samsung refrigerator. French doors with refrig drawer and bottom freezer. Ice dispenser in door leaks water continuously, ice maker shaves ice no matter what setting you choose (cubed or crushed), freezer drawer does not open all the way without jerking hard on it. We had repairman come several times while it was under warranty and they never got anything fixed? They said that’s just the way they are. Really? Back of refrigerator, behind panel, freezes up all the time and I have to defrost every few months. Drawer that holds the ice freezes shut and can’t open it. This refrigerator sucks. I would NEVER buy another Samsung product ever, EVER again and certainly would not recommend you do either!!!!

Weve called customer service for Samsung several times. They were not helpful and they did not support the customer need. Samsung knows of a faulty design on the icemakers of their refrigerators yet refuses to acknowledge and make it right for their customers. There is currently an open class action lawsuit for this problem, yet Samsung customer service wants to charge its customers to send technicians out to repair knowing that the icemaker will become faulty again. I am very dissatisfied with Samsung products and will not be purchasing or referring their product again.

Messaged Samsung asking them if they could help because it is a hazard in my kitchen for the free back splash kit they offered by sending in your receipt of purchase which I did but because I did not buy it from a store and bought it from a review group they kept declining it over and over. They have the worst customer service. It was a waste of money. They did not care to help at all to solve my problem. We bought a package deal at Best Buy in December 2016 - a Samsung dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave and slide in double oven. In one years time, 3 of the 4 appliances have broken and need expensive parts. However, the gas slide in range is by far the worst product (NX58K9850). After using the self cleaning feature for the first time, the oven over-heated and door locked. We have to pay $400 to replace the control board to get it to work again. After seeing so many similar complaints, I cant believe there isnt a recall on this oven. We will NEVER buy a Samsung appliance again. Wish I had seen this site Before I made my purchase!

The refrigerator is now the thorn in my side. About every 60 to 90 days I am having to turn it off and completely defrost it due to freezing around the fan. For the last 2 years I bought another warranty from Sears. They came out every 4 months to defrost and replace the fan and the defrost sensor. I called Samsung and they refuse to give me my money back for the unit. The customer service is horrible. So if you have any sense DONT BUY. I paid $1,995 for this model. This is an update to my previous post on my 3 and 1/2 year old fridge that quit working. I filled out a form from the Samsung site on the issue with the fridge and got a stock *received* form type letter back on the 18th. There was no mention of repairs, how to handle the problem, or if they were going to do anything. When I was on their website, it said the fridge was out of warranty and when I searched for appliance repair dealers, I got 0 results back. After reading pages of complaints all over the web with the same issues (bad ice makers, and the cooling issue), we decided we would not throw good money after bad in trying to fix it. We bought a new top rated GE (which will be delivered next month as we wanted a very specific model) and on 12-23, Lowes hauled the broken Samsung off (to the dump I guess). After the fridge was gone, later that evening, we get a UPS delivery of an envelope with a generic return address. We have no idea who sent it, instructions, nothing but a part; a temperature sensor that plugged into something. So I google the address and find its a Sears warehouse. I call them and they look up the order number and say its a Samsung part. So, I get a temp sensor, no idea it was even being sent from Samsung who when I look at my account online with my complaint, says the action was cancelled by **me** on 12-18. To say this whole thing has been frustrating is a big understatement. In fact, I am not sure a new sensor would have even fixed the problem from what I have been reading all over the internet.

I purchased a Samsung Dishwasher (Model #DW80H9930US) from Tasco, on the advice of Tascos salesman. It was installed in November 2014. I had also purchased a 5 year warranty. By June 2015 my dishwasher was no longer working. I went into Tasco who told me I had to contact my warranty provider, who in turn advised that Samsung held the initial warranty for the first year. I contacted Samsung at the beginning of July and was told a technician would call. I never received a call. Two weeks later I contacted them again and as everyone has previously mentioned, the wait times are approximately 30 minutes to speak with someone at the first level customer service. A woman finally booked a date to have a technician come out. I waited all day and got a call from someone to then set up another date that was approximately 3 weeks later. The technician came to my home and I advised him that the soap dispenser was not opening. He attached his computer to my dishwasher and told me the waterfall technology was not working and my motor was defective, which in turn was why the soap was not opening. He advised they would be ordering a new motor and I would get a call within 2 weeks to set up another appt. He also told me off the record this dishwasher consistently breaks down and is not a good buy. I had to remove my baseboard for that visit noting the dishwasher is built in. He never left the name of his company or anything with me. 3 weeks later I still had not heard from anyone. I contacted Samsung again to speak with someone and they told me they would be in touch. I called again 3 days later and after 30 min and going through the story each time -- got disconnected. In August I finally called and was put through to the Executive department because I was told I could not speak to management. I spoke with a Brian representative ** who was extremely rude and just flat out told me that they would not even consider replacing the unit, even noting the issues wrong with it so early on and the reviews I had read. He gave me an email address sdr.seca@samsung.com to send through a complaint as there never seems to be a manager consumers can speak with. I sent an email with my issues on August 12 and then a follow up on August 18th, 2015, and have never received a response from Samsung. I called 2 more times and was still unable to get a technician or call back. In October I went back to Tasco for help and was told I should have contacted them for service. I contacted Tasco who then in turn left me hanging until the end of November. On Thursday, November 26, I received a call from a Peter ** at Samsung and was told the delay of 6 months was because I did not call the technician back to let him know the baseboard had been removed. That the dishwasher was not properly diagnosed and they dont even know what is wrong with it. He was reading very different information than anyone else I had spoken to and basically told me I was lying that it was the motor. He was so rude, condescending, and when I asked for his managers phone number, he gave me a wrong number. At this point I have a dishwasher that has not worked for 5 months and cannot get Samsung to help me at all. At this time, I would like the dishwasher replaced and it is now out of warranty. At this time I do plan to take Samsung and Tasco to small claims court if I have to, noting I have a dishwasher that does not work and now its out of the manufacturers warranty. I will never purchase or recommend a Samsung appliance to anyone and will deter anyone from them. I would not want anyone to have to endure the stress and frustration I have had to deal with and still have not had the problem rectified. So disappointing.

We purchased our Samsung refrigerator in August/September of 2013. Within 2 months, we heard a loud buzzing noise. We did not initially know that it was coming from the fridge so we took apart our house trying to figure out where the noise was coming from and figured out that indeed, it was coming from our new refrigerator. We called for service, which required me to miss work to wait for the repair. The fan was full of ice in the back and the technician had to order some part to replace which did not come until the following week. I had to miss work (again) to get the part installed back in and thought that everything was fine. Nope! Two months later, the noise is back and louder this time. We called for service again and this time around, the ice situation is horrible in the back of the refrigerator. At this point, I am positive that there is a defect with this product so I requested for an exchange. The rep on the phone keeps telling me that it is their policy to have the technician out there a certain number of times before the exchange can take place. I can generally understand that but if a product had a serious performance issue within the first two months of use and has the same issue despite the fix, shouldnt Samsung stand by their products and remedy the situation for the customers? What about all the food wasted and the time wasted off work for someone to sit at home trying to wait for a service man to come for a new fridge? There is definitely a temperature issue with the fridge every time the ice forms in the back. Is Samsung going to take responsibility if anyone in my family gets food poisoning from eating food that was not properly refrigerated? This is just not acceptable in my books and I will probably never purchase or recommend a Samsung fridge again. They do not stand behind their products at all. If you sell a lemon, there is a need to refund or exchange the product within a certain time period as a consumer should not be hassled for your product defects.

What a huge disappointment with my less than 3 year old Samsung Fridge!!! And their aftercare service! As soon as I bought this refrigerator, Model # RF24FSEDBSR/AA which costed me $3,400 started having a problem within a week from the installation. Samsung sent me 2 different the 3rd party vendors to fix the problem since the 1st one couldnt. These two 3rd party vendors moved around my refrigerator in order to take a look at the back at that time. For last 5-6 months my fridge stopped cooling and it was accumulating ice in the back panel along with lots water dripping on the wall panel. Foods were easily molding and spoiled. When I called Samsung, they stated its because the refrigerator is not leveled and eventually its ruined fan functions. My refrigerator stayed exactly how the Samsung repairman left little less than 3 years ago with the wheels touch ground which was causing unleveling and eventual ruining the fridge completely. Samsung was showing no apology nor remedy whatsoever since the warranty time is over. They were asking me to talk to the vendor who left the refrigerator unleveled even though Samsung is the one who hired those vendors 3 years ago. Extremely disappointed with Samsung product and their service. Never buying Samsung products again. Definitely I will let other people to hear my voice every chance I get.

I had nothing but troubles since we bought the refrigerator Samsung side by side with outside doors to get to the door shelves. First two weeks it was beeping constantly and nobody at Samsung Help could not tell me JUST to disconnect and reboot. It took two month for to get a repair man and by then I had it fixed. Then the door shelves are made of such a LOW quality that they do NOT have any quality at all. Within the first six months 3 shelves were broken in pieces and when I complained they ONLY send me 1 shelf. You keep complaining to somebody from the other side of the world and they just keep opening new ticket complains without solving the problem. The water and ice dispenser is also a big problem, it seems to have an attitude. It dispenses ice or water whenever it pleases him not the person getting it. It would not dispense and you HAVE to figure out if the temperature its at normal or you have to open and close the doors or you have to turn the knob at the ice dispenser to get anything dispensed to you. Samsung RS267TDPN - Do your research before considering this model! I have owned mine barely 3 yrs and have had major problems with the freezer side two times. In both cases, the freezer side seized to cool properly. In this last round, the temperature was 25-40 degrees (f) and would not get any cooler which meant the ice maker also stopped working. The first problem was repaired while under warranty. For my current problem, I am now having to pay out of pocket to replace the evap temp sensor and the Heater sheath assembly due to burnt wires. These are part of the EVAP assembly and are located in the lower freezer section and behind a plastic panel thus I assume it to be a defect with the unit and not something that could have been caused by user neglect. I also owned a Samsung over-the-range microwave oven which failed prematurely therefore I now question the quality of Samsung kitchen appliances.

Ive had the Samsung refrigerator for 3 years. The first year, it was leaking water and that was repaired. The second year, it stopped cooling and the fans were replaced. The icemaker has not worked most of the time. And this year, it stopped cooling on July 12. They came and replaced the fans and the icemaker. During that repair, they found an internal Freon leak. It took another 2 weeks before that was repaired, but the refrigerator was still not cooling. This time, it was apparently the compressor. They replaced the compressor on Friday, August 30th. I woke up Saturday to a nice cold fridge. I was happy about that! However, Saturday night, the temp was reading 60 degrees in the fridge and 40 degrees in the freezer! Im so over this. We purchased the Samsung dishwasher in 2010, within 6 months the clear glass items were coming out etched, dishes were not getting clean, so we used vinegar to help - it worked for awhile. Have had to use the heavy cycle to get dished cleaned the entire time we have owned the machine. Last week it started leaking in at the bottom of the door, but now looking at our hardwood floor it appears to have been happening for awhile without us noticing.About 2 months ago I noticed the digital #s were losing characters, so some of the time was not showing or the numbers were cut off, so when you thought it was a 7, it was showing as a 1. Now today it has a code error 11 flashing and we cannot figure out why. Havent called a repair person as yet, might be worth just replacing than fixing.

We bought our Samsung refrigerator in Feb. 2013. Ice maker has never worked. I called Samsung and went through the trouble shoot steps twice. It never worked. The second technician I talked to said the first one didnt know what he was talking about. I called them again; they sent out a technician. They had to send them out of course while we were both at work. My husband took off to be able to meet him there. He called and said he wasnt going to be able to make it and told me to tell my husband to go back to work. I called his dispatcher; he came out anyway. He told my husband to be sure and buy the extended warranty! WHY DIDNT WE LISTEN? We had to replace the ice maker. Mind you it was a brand new $1,400 refrigerator, and the ice maker never worked! Now the flap on the front of the door where the ice comes out will not close, and air gets up into the ice maker and it freezes then wont come out of the door. So we have to manually shut the flap so ice wont freeze. I called Samsung again. They are sending a technician from some place I have never heard of and of course, one of us has to take off work again to have our brand new refrigerator fixed! I will never again buy another Samsung product and will let everyone know about my bad experience with Samsung. Why didnt I read this page before buying a Samsung product!

The tray fills with water. The ice is made. The maker flips and twists the ice out of the holder. However, half the ice stays in the holder. The ice cracks leaving a little ice in each cube tray. When the water fills up again, it overflows everywhere making a frozen mess. We have resent the ice maker, changed temperatures in the freezer and nothing resolves the problem. An expensive refrigerator should not break this soon. Products are made cheap today!

While Samsung has become reliable in their TV and cellphone line, much improvements in quality are desired in their appliance line. A Samsung dryer - a recent model that I got, broke down within 1.5 years and their paid service appointment was more than a week wait, leaving the appliance downtown for the consumer. Samsung fridge that I bought had numerous issues including, water leaks that damaged wooden floor, fan not turning, icing in fridge section, sensors needing replacement and such, over the years of its use.Irony is that while these appliances are styled well with their electronics and such, underlying functional quality of their latest appliances as well was seen driven by relative poor quality components that will guarantee repairs past their warranty period. The feedback to the quality department is simple - learn from quality of LG and improve component quality to enhance on the on the functional reliability for the appliance to function trouble free for about 5 years at the minimum. Short of that, itll leave a bad taste in customer use, forcing them to look at brands with better quality.

I want to alert people to the poor quality and service performance associated with Samsung appliances. We purchased our Samsung French door refrigerator 3 years ago as part of a kitchen remodel. In 3 years we have already had +$700 of repairs and service calls. Within 2 years the defrosting system failed, leaking on our new floor and the door closing mechanism has failed. Service was poor and costly. Overall a horrible experience with Samsung appliances and service. I do not want others to not benefit from this costly and miserable experience. Save yourself the time, money and aggravation - do not buy Samsung.

I have been a Samsung fan for a long time. For the first time ever we experienced an issue where Samsung was not able to provide us with a reasonable solution. We purchased a Samsung Oven Range in early November 2019. One of our oven knobs broke off in our hand two weeks after the warranty expired. Samsung requires close to $100 for a replacement knob. When I pulled off the other 4 knobs on our oven range I noticed that the neck of one other knob was also cracking. The knob necks are made of plastic. I read reviews on various community chat groups and apparently, there are many Samsung customers who experienced the same problem. If I were to buy all 5 of the Samsung replacement knobs it would literally cost me as much as I paid for the entire oven range new. If Samsung is interested, I found online a very simple inexpensive fix for broken knob necks, which can also be used to prevent future breakage of unbroken knobs. Will be glad to share.

I bought my Samsung French door fridge/freezer in December 2011. It remained in good working order for about a year, giving me a supply of ice. Then the ice maker fell apart about and a few months later I noticed ice accumulating under the produce bins making the drawers impossible to open. Removal of the ice solves the problem for a month then the ice returns. Taking out the ice involves pouring in a lot of hot water; the task is annoying and not a good use of my time at the weekend. I will have to continue this task however as I cannot afford a new fridge and getting a repair seems to be useless according to other reviews.

I had a 32-year old refrigerator and NEVER needed a repair or new part. I bought a Samsung only because I remodeled a small kitchen and needed a relatively small refrigerator for the intended space. I have owned it less than two years. Water accumulates under the drawers and in the drawers; I need to soak up the water almost daily or it will spill out onto the floor. Samsung told me to contact a repairman in my area. I tried to find a Samsung repairman and discovered that none exist in my area! I will never buy a Samsung product again.

Do not buy a Samsung refrigerator! I purchased a French door, bottom freeze
Do not buy a Samsung refrigerator! I purchased a French door, bottom freezer, center drawer unit in November 2014. Beautiful appliance! I never really cared for the icemaker, but it made ice so I was ok with it until the unit was 2 1/2 years old. The ice maker began to freeze on the bottom and no ice was made. Then the water began dripping out of the front door dispenser. Fortunately I purchased the extended warranty, but when the repairmen came, on four occasions, there was not much they could do to remedy the situation. Finally they ordered a new icemaker, but then Samsung backordered for over a month then sent the wrong parts. Seems Samsung has completely changed the repair of their icemakers and the repairmen have not installed a new one to their specifications, so mine is the first. Great! Mine will be the Guinea Pig! Wish I had this purchase to do over, and had my $2000 (sale price) back to purchased an American made unit.

Unit is a slide in model. Stove top heats quickly and two of the large burners have multi size heat areas. Oven temperature is accurate, easily holds two large dutch ovens simultaneously, has a large viewing window and a bread proofing function. I would prefer that the oven racks move more freely with heavy items. Glass top covers that edges and prevents food particles from dropping between. I would purchase again.

When the warranty ended, literally the next month the refrigerator stopped cooling. Samsung would not repair the refrigerator even if we paid for it. DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG! This is a cluster of really terrible products. Microwave that turned on by itself and lights on at random times. The stove top replaced twice and the terrible dishwasher that leaves dirty dishes. Samsung sucks garbage. I highly discourage everyone to purchase anything. Useless company doesnt return calls or offer extended support for inferior equipment. We are not angry, were furious and have prevented at least seven awful purchases from being made. I will make this a cause to notify everyone of the garbage thats being sold by Samsung.

I purchased Samsung Chef Collection refrigerator around Nov/Dec of 2014. Best looking refrigerator at the time. Paid over $4000. Well, I must say, it does look good, but where is the bases of the GOOD REFRIGERATOR? I wonder. Reason being is that, the ICE MAKER has been giving me problem about 9 months into use. Ice would not come out, so I tried to pull the ice basket off. It was stuck and could not remove it. Called warranty service, then it was close to being expired. Tech came and fixed it, then month later it was doing it again. Seems to me that when ice is being produced, the water splashes along the wall and it freezes the mechanism around it. When tech came, he had to turn off the refrigerator and use the steamer to melt around it. Another problem that I am experience is when ICE is being dispensed, only CRUSHED ICE will come out. So, I guess entire ICE MACHINE is just a JUNK after all. I would not recommend you getting this unit. I should have listen to the sales person, because, he did say, Samsung has weak ICE Machine, but didnt warn me enough. (He should have said, ICE MACHINE is a some Piece of **.) I hope they will do recall on this unit or replace it at no cost. Better yet, they better come out with better ICE MACHINE Technology that will simply produce ICE.

We purchased a Samsung fridge 5 years ago. It had issues with the ice maker a few times, which were repaired. Most recently, the fan was making a REALLY loud noise, Samsung came out and we were told there is now corrosion in the plug of the fan and it is not repairable. Upon contacting Samsung we have been told we need to buy a new fridge and they offered us a 20% discount. The fridge is only 5 years old, we paid over $2.5k for it and now have no option to repair it other than to replace it. I wanted to warn others, as we had choices when we were buying and chose Samsung - we are now paying for that decision, literally. Looking online and doing some research Ive now found that there is a class action for THE EXACT SAME THING in the US - the ice maker breaking causing the fan to make a loud noise and eventually stop working. Im in shock that Samsung find it acceptable to tell me to buy a new fridge after only 5 years and only give me a 25% discount... I will never buy another Samsung fridge again and I hope this warns others to do the same. So disappointed. Here is the link to some summary details of the class action: **.

Purchased the Samsung microwave SMH9207ST in July 2014. Stopped heating in September of same year. Called Samsung and they sent a serviceman to fix it. Problem solved... for a while. Its now April 2015 (were still within the one-year warranty period) and not only does it occasionally stop heating, but the turntable doesnt work. Called Samsung and they said were out of warranty! When they looked further into our account, they said they sometimes have computer issues and they no longer showed our original bill-of-sale information in their system, and said wed have to send in a copy of the original to them. We dont have that receipt any longer (Lowes) so were out of luck. Will NEVER purchase another Samsung product again, based on our experience with this microwave and the lack of quality customer service.

We have a two year old french door model. The ice maker dispenser mechanism seems to get frosted up and stops dispensing cubes. When cubes are selected it wont allow the cubes to drop. It just drops small chunks, you can hear it grinding away. The crushed side works fine. We remove and empty the bin and allow the mechanism to dry out. After reinstalling the mechanism it frosts up within a couple of days. This just started about 4-5 months ago. There are no other frosting in the freezer. My Samsung RSG257AARS (purchased 2013) counter depth refrigerator completely turns off (front display, interior lights - both sides, and compressors) when outside temps start to warm up. This happened 1 time approx. after a year of ownership, already out of warranty by that point by the way. During the cool months it never shuts off. Again a little more frequently the following year. Now the first warm day in April its already started again.I have tried contacting their Samsung customer service line, which they told me it was out of warranty of course, I would be responsible for all charges. The Authorized Service center would have to Diagnose the problem, I will have to miss a day of work $$. Then order part, reschedule repair, miss another day of work $$. Pay for all of this and pray it fixes problem. The ice maker has never been sufficient during the months when you need ice the most, this has been a constant complaint on many forums. Totally dissatisfied with this product and will never purchase a Samsung product.

I mentioned to all 3 that I researched the problem and Samsung knows full well that they have a defective part that causes this to happen yet has not recalled the models or the part itself despite the fact that there is a pending class action lawsuit against them. I bought the NE58K9500SG, slide in range in Nov., I would like to report a safety issue. The knobs on the front are too easy to turn. My husband and I are constantly turning the stove top on by accident with our body while reaching to the back burners or the cabinet above the stove or the microwave. We have young grandchildren in the house from time to time and I am worried about it. While we were hanging a backsplash the stove top came on and we werent aware of it. I really dont know what to do about it and Im trying to adapt to it. I love the range but Im worried about the safety of it. DW80F600UTS - We purchased a new dishwasher in August of 2014 but it was not installed until the house was completed in January of 2015. Not only does this dishwasher take over two hours to cycle through, it has NEVER cleaned the dishes. We basically have to wash the dishes before we use it and then use it on the heavy and sanitize cycles. It has become a very expensive dish-drying rack! We have contacted Samsung numerous times and have had a technician here twice. They can find nothing wrong with the machine. According to Samsung it is working within specifications. Apparently dishes with baked on food is acceptable to Samsung. I complained all the way up to the presidents office and was basically told that if another technician came out and found nothing wrong, we would have to pay for the service call. Our Samsung dishwasher started leaking one week ago (3 years old). Not under warranty. It was very hard to get a Samsung approved repairman.
