Samsung Washer Model WA54R7600AC Error Codes

CODE: LO or FL
PROBLEM: Door lock error
FIX: Check the wiring connections to the door lock/switch, and tighten if needed. Forcing the door open might damage the door lock / switch, which is often made of plastic. However, it is simple to replace and much less expensive than calling a technician.

CODE: ds
PROBLEM: Door is not locked
FIX: If the washer won't start, the ds code might appear, signaling that the washer door is open and the lock is malfunctioning. Use the diagnostic test mode to check the door lock / switch assembly. If that shows the lock is defective, replace it.

CODE: dc
PROBLEM: Unbalanced load
FIX: The dc code means the load has been detected as unbalanced during the final spin. Cancel the cycle, or just let it end. Redistribute the load, and re spin.

CODE: Sud (F70)
PROBLEM: Too many suds
FIX: Allow the suds to settle, and move to the spin cycle. Rewash the clothes using no detergent, and then clean your washer.

CODE: lE
PROBLEM: Water level sensor failure
FIX: First, unplug the washer, and check the wire harness connections between the water level sensor and the main control board. If the IE code still appears after plugging the washer back in, the water level pressure sensor should be replaced.

CODE: nF
PROBLEM: Water fill problem
FIX: Check that the water supply faucets behind the washer are fully open and kink free. The lines can also freeze if the washer is exposed to low temperatures. The code might also appear if the water inlet fill valves are defective and need replacement.

CODE: LE
PROBLEM: Low water level during cycles
FIX: Water level drops can be caused by leaks in the washer tub or an improperly installed drain line, which can siphon water out of the washer. Reinstall the drain line, and try filling again.

CODE: OE
PROBLEM: Overflow or too high water levels
FIX: A washer that is overfilled is usually caused by water inlet valves that are not shutting off the water flow properly. Replace the water inlet valve assembly.

CODE: nF1
PROBLEM: Hot and cold water lines are reversed
FIX: Connect the hot and cold water fill hoses correctly on the back of the washer.

CODE: tE
PROBLEM: Water temperature is either too high or too low
FIX: Run the diagnostic test mode to check the water temperature that the control board is sensing. If the actual temperature is significantly different, the temperature sensor or thermistor should be replaced.

CODE: nd
PROBLEM: Water will not drain
FIX: If the washer fails to drain within fifteen minutes, check the washer drain filter and drain hose for a clog or restriction. If the drain pump is defective or damaged, replace it.

CODE: E2
PROBLEM: Stuck key on control board
FIX: Try to free the key by gentle force. If you can't free the key, replace the user interface control board (also called the sub PCB control board).

CODE: 3E
PROBLEM: No signal from the drive motor tachometer
FIX: Unplug the washer. Check the wire harness connections on the drive motor and the electronic control board. If the wiring connections are sound, the drive motor or the tachometer usually needs to be replaced.

CODE: 2E
PROBLEM: Internal control board failure
FIX: Unplug the washer for five minutes to reset the electronic control board. Plug the washer back in. If the code returns, replace the electronic control board.

CODE: AE
PROBLEM: Communication error between the main PCB and sub PCB in the control panel
FIX: Check the wire harness connections between the PCB control boards in the control panel. If the wiring connections are sound, replace one or both of the control boards.

CODE: SF
PROBLEM: Main PCB error
FIX: Unplug the washer for five minutes to reset the electronic control board. Plug the washer back in. If the code returns, replace the electronic control board.

CODE: Hr
PROBLEM: Heater relay failure
FIX: The heater relay is a component on the main PCB control board. Unplug the washer for five minutes to reset the main PCB control board. Plug the washer back in. If the code returns, replace the main PCB control board.

On Oct 12 of this year I bought a Samsung Self-Cleaning Slide in Convection Range Model Number NX58H9500WS. I normally keep it clean manually, but decided to try the self clean option a week ago. After it heated up, black noxious smoke was billowing out of the oven. It was setting off all my smoke alarm, and spreading black soot everywhere. I shut down the machine from the electric junction and opened all the windows. I believe if I hadnt thought quickly it would have set fire to my apartment. I called Samsung, and they came here and inspected the machine, and voided the warranty. How does one void a warranty on a machine that was obviously defective, and could have caused a house fire? I went to the place I purchased the machine, because I had a warranty with them. They came, and they verified the stove had gone on fire. The company I purchased this from is taking care of the issue that Samsung should have taken care of. This is reprehensible on the part of Samsung Customer Service. We are now allowed to return said item to the store and will be picking out another range. You can guess it will NOT be a Samsung.

Two years ago I purchased a Samsung refrigerator (model #RS267TDRS). About a year after we bought it, we started to have problems with it NOT COOLING. Well needless to say, today it officially BROKE and all of our food has SPOILED. I immediately contacted Samsung and I spoke with Tiffany ** (operator #**) and Shonda ** (operator #**) of their customer service department. She told me that there is nothing that she can do to replace the refrigerator because it is out of warranty. After pleading with her that I have three small children under the age of five who need to have access to milk, juice and medication that requires refrigeration, she told me that she would schedule a service call (ticket #**). The problem is that I live in a rural part of Virginia. They wont be able to come to look at the refrigerator for a few weeks, let alone fix it on the spot or that it would be covered since it probably would be something that is not under their warranties. I need help! I cannot wait this long to get it looked at! I have already lost $500 worth of groceries and if I replace it with new food, we dont have a way to store that food. Please if someone at Samsung is reading this, take action to HELP ME. I am writing this post in hopes that someone at Samsung will see this and be able to get me a real resolution to this problem because I dont know what to do (maybe exchange for another used model or even a new one?). I currently work for the Marine Corps and we cant afford to buy another $1,500 refrigerator, especially since this one was purchased brand new 24 months ago from Lowes. I dont like dropping the we are a military family moniker, but the fact is I am a veteran who needs help. Again Samsung, please help! I am desperate since as a veteran, we dont make the type of money that most other families do. Not that any American family makes enough money to keep replacing refrigerators every two years. To be fair, I will update everyone if there is an amicable resolution to this issue.

Samsung refrigerator (RF4267HARS) with middle drawer and then the bottom freezer compartment has been excellent and I am coming up to the five year mark owning it. The only frustration with the appliance is dispensing ice. When the glass is placed up against the paddle and pressed towards the fridge you can hear the ice auger turning but no ice is coming down the ice chute into your glass. Odd you would think. Then I would open up the fridge double doors and absolutely every time I would be greeted by ice cubes falling down all over the fridge ledge and all over my kitchen floor. No matter how many times I have told Samsung operators that the problem is the size of the ice cubes. The ice cubes get jammed up in the ice chute preventing other ice cubes from falling down the chute into the homeowners glass. A family member purchased an identical fridge six months ago and guess what the ice cubes are half the size. No issues ever with their fridge. A technician replaced the ice cube machine a week ago and the exact same sized ice cubes are being made and the jamming still occurs. This morning I opened up the fridge doors and ice started dropping out of the fridge onto my kitchen floor again. Warranty runs out at the end of 2018 and I cannot wait to sell this fridge. I will no longer purchase a fridge with a ice dispenser.

We purchased the Samsung Fridge model # RF28HMEDBSR/AA less than six months
We purchased the Samsung Fridge model # RF28HMEDBSR/AA less than six months ago. We’ve had this fridge previously at our last home and I was skeptical to buy again because the fridge started having rust spots on the freezer door (true stainless steel shouldn’t rust). So the company falsely advertised their fridge to be true stainless, which as a consumer, once a business makes false claims, you’d typically not want to purchase the item again. However, my husband really wanted this fridge so I gave in. Fast forward to roughly six months after we got the new fridge, the door with the water/ice dispenser was left open, not fully but cracked like it wasn’t completely closed while we were at work. Complete accident but when I got home that night, the ice door flap on the fridge door was continuously opening and closing and the front display was almost completely dim. Following what you would think is right, I contacted their technical support department and got in queue for a callback (est wait was 1hr 15 min). Received call back and by this time, my husband was home and able to go through all the troubleshooting ideas the tech threw at him. Still not fixed, so they put in a request to have a tech from Dish Home Services come to fix it. This was on a Monday, the tech couldn’t get out here until Friday. So we’ve had a half working fridge, only to be told on Friday that the Samsung tech ordered the wrong part and they’d have to put in a new order and send someone out again. I was annoyed at this point as it was a holiday weekend, and was being told it’d be over a week before they’d be able to come back out. (Uh no.) Anyone whos had issues with a new fridge knows that you can’t just sit around and wait. Your food doesn’t stay cold and using coolers only does so much. I’d been in touch with a supervisor at Samsung (Antony ID **), who told me they wouldn’t replace my fridge because they had to exhaust all options to fix it (meaning we’d have to keep taking time off work to be home for these techs, even though they say they don’t expect you too, when you have a broken fridge, you have to too). Dish Home Services don’t apparently do late afternoon/early evening calls and were not seeming to think working us in was essential. My husband had been working with a Katie at Dish who said she’d call him back that same Friday they were out to confirm our appointment. She never did and we had to call back on Monday to figure out what was going on. I kept getting the response that “were waiting on the part”, but in this day and age of tracking numbers, expedited shipping, etc. they could have known when they would have the part and confirm a date to come back. I finally got a supervisor with Dish (she said her name was Demetrius) and she said she could see the tech would have the part by tomorrow (Tuesday), and she’d email the local dispatcher to get us on the books. When I asked for the local phone number to call them myself, she said she couldn’t give it out. So long story short, if you don’t want a headache of dealing with a crap customer service department, or the possibility of a brand new appliance breaking, I’d stay clear of this company because they clearly don’t care to stand behind their products but hide behind poor policies and use horrible contract service companies to repair their own products. Save yourself the headache and buy another brand.

I will never buy another Samsung product again. This dishwasher is our second one; the first one was replaced right away after purchase for not cleaning our dishes. This current one is just as bad, if not worse. Our dishes are never dry. They all need to be dried with a towel since theyre so wet. And the recommended jet dry does not help. The worst part about this product is our dishes are never clean. Samsung has not been the least bit helpful and claims it works just fine. I dont consider dirty dishes acceptable and neither should they. Its unfortunate that so many consumers are unhappy with the product but we are stuck with it. Please do research before you buy appliances!! And a class action lawsuit sounds perfect to me.

Will never purchase another Samsung anything. Purchased 28 cu ft refrigerator year and half ago. Problems w/ the ice maker from the day I purchased. Same as other customers - ice maker noisy and would freeze up. You call Samsung and they walk you through everything you have already done and then refer you to another number that will get back to you. When they do they leave a message to call back to the original number. Called again and was told Id be referred to an authorized repair dealer. Then notified 3 days later that there was none in my area. I did some searching and found one who stated they were. They came out the next day and found the problem (definitely Warranty) but fridge was over year old. I had been dealing with this problem since I purchased it and was told noise was normal. Took about 39 min for technician to discover the ice maker was assembled incorrectly from the factory. He reassembled it and put it back in and the ice maker has been working well (its terribly slow) for 4 days now. No knocking and loud noises. Interesting that he figured it out and Samsung didnt have a clue. Apparently they have been installed in the factory incorrectly. Ill gladly join a class action suit against them! Samsung doesnt seem to care about the consumer at all. Samsung Blue Ray DVD player just quit after approximately a year. Had been a gift from our daughter. I love the fridge when it works but am very worried reading other complaints. Ice maker was terrible until technician from Back Canyon City (small town north Phoenix) came to the rescue. Thank you Jeremy of Accredited Appliance.

We bought a Samsung French door refrigerator two years ago. Our ice maker has gone out and we need another one. Upon looking on the parts on the Samsung website it says It is NOT available. Really? How do they think the people are suppose to fix the ice maker? The last refrigerator we had the ice maker went out in a year. We called the Co. and they said It COULDNT be fixed. What do they think we are suppose to do? Keep buying refrigerator? The next one I buy will NOT have an ice maker in the door.

We purchased model #RF263BEAEBC and immediately had problems with the ice maker. It would leak water every time we used it and the ice would come out soft and mostly broken. After 5 service calls and a complete ice maker replacement during the 1 year MFG warranty, Samsung said there is nothing else they can do and left us with the same problem. Now the refrigerator is 1 year and 8 months old and is very noisy when it comes on and the ice maker problems are still there. I will never buy another Samsung product again. They DO NOT stand behind their product and make things right!

Bought my refrigerator model rb195acbp/xaa about 3 yrs ago. When I got it the ice maker scare the soul out of us. Extremely loud. Recently it stopped cooling from freezer and regular fridge compartment. Lost about 120 worth in groceries. They sent in a tech to fix it. Worked for a week or less and lost again about 80 dollars worth of groceries. Called them again. They said I have to pay about 120 for a tech to stop by. I cant believe this. I was a Samsung buyer. Bought Samsung cell phones. I have bought about $5,000 worth on brand new tvs and now I get this. Looking at all these reviews I guess Im not the only one having issues. Really Samsung... Never buying a Samsung product again...

I purchased and installed a Samsung Gas Range (NC58H9950WS) in Spring of 2015. I recently ran (Dec 2017) the oven cleaning feature, and now my display is not working. Ive found many similar reviews stating their displays stopped working after running the cleaning program. The cost to repair this is approximately $1100 to replace both display boards (the range cost me around $2500 new). It would seem that Samsung sold us all a bill of goods by saying this feature is available on their range but in fact using the feature will make other parts of the range break down and require replacement. If youve had a similar experience, write your review!

From the day it was installed about a year ago, it leaks badly under the door during the first cycle. It never cleans the dishes well and always leaves funk all over for me to scrape off after. I might as well hand wash! Now the unit will not complete cycle. I have taken it apart a zillion times to clean and inspect. What a piece of **. Locally we have a tire store called Discount Tire. In their TV ad they show a little old lady throwing a tire through their front window and the ad says if youre not satisfied.... bring it back. I wonder what it would sound like when I throw this dishwasher through Lowes front window?

Samsung has a two year class action lawsuit against it and has known about its faulty icemakers for YEARS, but it continues to sell refrigerators that cannot be repaired. If you are lucky, your icemaker will work for the year it is under warranty. However, expect within six months after that first year, your icemaker will freeze and require constant thawing by a blowdryer. You can pay $250-$500 for a service fee for the technician to inform you that there is NO repair and NO replacement. Your only option is to continue to thaw the icemaker area with a blowdryer EVERY DAY! RUN, do not walk, RUN as fast as you can from Samsung refrigerators!

About 5 years ago I purchased a Samsung RF217ACRS wide french door refrigerator. This unit has been nothing but trouble since about 1 day after the warranty ended. In the past 2.5 years I have spent about as much money on repairs as on the original purchase. The control panel continues to freeze up, ice blocks the drain, the panel has been replaced twice, several other parts have been replaced yet nothing appears to solve the problem of water all over the bottom of the unit. The vegetable bins always have water in the bottom. Each repair person that has been to the house has reiterated that they intensely dislike working on Samsung however their appliances keep them in business. I will never purchase a Samsung appliance again.

Our Samsung FE-R300SX is 3 years old and we heard a loud pop and saw flames and smoke shooting out the back of the range. The circuit board caught fire. Samsung will not cover any of the expenses. Thankfully we saw it right away and our kitchen did not catch fire. This range should be recalled for safety. My husband and I were headed out the door when we heard the loud pop and saw the flames. We were baking Tater Tots and had the oven timer on. Our son was in his room playing video games and was going to turn off the oven when the timer went off. Our kitchen would have been on fire before he would have noticed a problem. We paid almost $700 for this range on sale and it is only 3 years old. We are very unhappy customers and will never buy anything Samsung again. They didnt even call me back about the problem. They sent an email to say they were sorry it caught fire, but they set me up for an out of warranty repair that I will have to pay for. I called them back and was told that I had no recourse and they would not cover the repair. Even thought there is a 5-year parts warranty, it does not cover the circuit board which caught fire.

We bought a french door Samsung Refrigerator, 3 years ago and it has proven to be a poor product. There has been ice build up in the Ice Cube maker to the point where we do not use it. That caused a lot of noise from the fan. There has also been ice build up in the back of the fridge. We defrosted the fridge and when it was plugged in the fridge unit will not go lower than 55C. Samsung have washed their hands of the product and for the 3rd time... We are forced to call in a repairman. In reading the various posts about this issue I do not understand how come they do not know what it is... (Planned obsolescence???). We are very disappointed in the product and will NOT buy a Samsung fridge again.

Samsung refuses to honor warranty. 4 door refrigerator RF23J9011SG/AA. [ New ] As a loyal user of Samsung products from 3 tvs, 3 phones, and 2 refrigerators I expected when I purchased my beautiful 4 door refrigerator that I would enjoy the same top quality that I have always had with Samsung products. After less than two years of service, my 4 door refrigerator, that cost over $3,000 has developed an issue. The bottom (Freezer section) is working fine but the top (fridge) section is now hot. Since the warranty on the compressor and associated parts is 5 years I thought that, although anything can have an issue, Samsung would honor the warranty to repair the unit. They did agree to send a technician out to look at the refrigerator so I was pleased that they would honor their warranty. The interesting part is that the technician only removed the inside panel at the back of the fridge to inspect the coil and fan area. The only test that he did was to unplug a temp sensor and plug one in that he brought to see if the compressor would kick on, which it did not. He also took some pictures of the inside of the fridge and sent them in, he said, to a Samsung technician who, in turn from some unknown location determined that the problem is Environmental because of a small section of copper tubing at the top of the coil has some green corrosion on it (Not the Coil itself). I was confused because this is what copper does when exposed to moisture (inside the fridge) and air. The technician told me that he was not sure but that is what Samsung said. He then removed the panels covering the electronics on the back of the fridge, tested absolutely nothing other than seeing if the LED lights were on and then told me there was nothing that he could do because it is from an environmental problem. The problem with this theory is, #1 copper turns green when exposed to air and moisture, very common and expected. Secondly, if it were an environmental issue then the copper lines on the back of the unit leading to the compressors (there are 2, one for freezer, one for fridge) would be corroded since they are ACTUALLY exposed to the Environment and off course, they are not corroded but look absolutely new. Fast forward today, one week later, and I paid Mr. Appliance to come out and actually diagnose the fridge issue. The problem is that there is an issue with the compressor. And, as I expected, they told me that the idea of environmental issues causing this is absolutely ridiculous. They did, however kindly offer me an estimate of almost $1,000 to repair it. Very disappointed with Samsungs handling of this situation, by the attitude of the tech they sent out, it almost seems as though they intended to find any reason possible not to honor their own warranty.

My new Samsung stainless steel refrigerator was installed 2/10/18. Unfortunately, upon peeling off the film, there are two dents in the left French Style door. I notified Samsung, Monday, 12th and was told I was outside the return range of 48 hours. All Samsung wants to do is provide excuses instead of fix this issue. I was told to contact Samsungs, Escalation Customer Relations. When I called their toll free number, I was greeted with one of the rudest service reps Ive dealt with. He refused to transfer me to the ECR department, despite the fact I gave him my order number. He initially requested this number as if he were going to transfer me as I requested. Instead of doing so, he blatantly stated he would not do so. Samsung has the images of the damaged door. This is the WORST customer service ever.

Model # RF28HMEDBSR/AA-07. I bought it in July of 2015. In 2017 I had to replace the entire water filtration system. In 2018, I had to replace the ice maker unit. The back wall of the unit is coated in ice and in order to defrost, it must be done manually - I use a hairdryer. The drink dispenser is a constant drip of slushy water. I purchased the new Samsung Waterwall dishwasher (Model dw80h9930US) from HH Gregg this past summer. I almost bought a Bosch but the new features of the Samsung seemed to be a better deal. Besides I already owned a Samsung washer, dryer and refrigerator. After about a month, I noticed the door started popping open during the wash cycle. I would push it back in and it would continue to pop open. I contacted HH Gregg and they informed me I had to contact Samsung. I did and they sent out a repairman who re-positioned the dishwasher and said that was the cause. After he left, I began using it again and the same thing started to happen, the door popped open during a wash cycle. I called them back again and they sent out the same technicians who fiddled with the baskets and thought that the top basket was pushing open the door during the cycle. They wanted to order a new basket for me. In the meantime, I was running the dishwasher and continually pushing in the door when it popped out until one evening, the unit beeped and the code LE appeared. This code was for Leakage and the manual instructed me to turn off my breaker to the dishwasher and call Samsung. Now I was not only without a dishwasher but my disposal was connected to that breaker. I called Samsung and demanded a new unit but they insisted on sending out the technicians again. At this point I had it with Samsung and decided to call HH Gregg. I explained to them my dilemma and they have graciously offered to replace my Samsung with a Bosch. I am overwhelmed with gratitude and will never forget the service I got from HH Gregg. They also were aware of the problems with the Samsung and were willing to help their customers get a dishwasher that works. I will never buy another Samsung product again.

I bought our 4-door refrigerator in 12/11. About a month later, the right door bins started falling out. I called Samsung directly and ordered replacements. No problem. The wrong bins came so thinking I was responsible, I called and reordered them. About 3 weeks passed and I hadnt received them, so I called them again. I was told that the order hadnt been placed so I ordered them again. I still hadnt received them after another 3-4 weeks, so I called them again. I was told that they were ordered but they didnt know where they were? She placed the order again. Another month passed and I hadnt received them yet, so I called and asked to speak to their customer service department. The gentleman assured me that they were backordered (never heard that before) and that they were now in stock and he would ship them immediately. I called the following week to make sure that they had been sent. Some lady assured me that they were shipped on the 15th of September. That was September 15, 2011, today is 9/29/11. I havent received them yet so I called and asked for customer service again. This time, I got their executive customer service rep. I was told that their records showed I had received some bins in early July of 2011. No record of my corrected order. I explained to her that those were the wrong bins and that I had made several calls after that, reordering the correct bins. She just didnt know what happened but assured me that she was looking in to it. I had explained everything to her and then she asked me for my email address and said she would send me one regarding the circumstances. I asked her for a direct call instead and she said she could not make out going calls? That was this morning. Still no email. I called Sears, explained to them what had been going on. They said they had my warranty info and would send them out immediately. He repeated the description to me 3 times so there are no mistakes. He gave me his full name and direct number too. We always buy Sears products and I dont know why we bought the Samsung. Ill never do it again. They dont support their product in anyway. The only reason I gave it one star is because of the size. Thats it.

On Feb.16, 2009, we purchased a 30 Samsung electric stove AND a 5 year warranty. Almost immediately, we knew we had a problem. We spent the entire 5 years of warranty, having repairmen from A & E Factory Service (Sears) come put bandaids on this very expensive stove ($1508 without the warranty cost). When the extended warranty ran out in February of 2014 the stove had all the same problems it had as a new stove. Since then, I always set the temperature too high (because it never reaches the temperature I set it at). I bought a good oven thermometer to put in the oven which I watch by shining a flashlight through the glass in the oven door, adjusting the temperature throughout the baking period. You see, I cant trust the oven to go to the temperature I need. The beeper that is supposed to tell you when the oven is hot enough to bake your food beeps when the oven is at least 100 degrees lower than I have set it for. This oven has ruined so many things I have tried to bake, including a ham that I served partly raw without realizing it. NEVER BUY SAMSUNG PRODUCTS!! I seriously cringe when I see full page ads for Samsung appliances. I will NEVER buy another one. But think of all those poor people who WILL! (We purchased the stove from a store in Loveland Colorado called Ji and Daves Appliance, Inc. which is no longer in business).

I purchased my Samsung dishwasher model number DW7933LRASR in November 2014. Within the first year the circuit board went. When I called the repair company and explained the problem they knew right away to bring the new board as others had same issue. Within a few months of the repair and after the warranty was out the same problem occurred. This time I have to pay to have the company confirm its the same problem - if it is Samsung will pay for the board but I have to pay for the repair (the company is in another town an hour away so probably cheaper to buy a new dishwasher!). I purchased a double oven stove and refrigerator too - no major issues but not 100% happy so would not recommend any Samsung home appliances. The dishwasher is certainly problematic and Samsung does not care about its customers!!!

Unit bought new in 2008 - in 2011 water in refrigerator unit - approx. $300 to replace evaporator cover and thaw out. Apparently drain has problem with freezing over, told by repair company that it would not happen again. May 2015 - same problem, this time 450.00 to repair. Wrote to Samsung and they denied any responsibility. Apparently this is a common problem and the fix is not adequate - would not recommend Samsung refrigerators to anyone. Feel Samsung should at least find a suitable fix for this so that consumers only have to fix once.

Like others that have reviewed, the ice maker is virtually non-functional on a weekly basis with continued ice build up and damming. Loud grinding noises, slushy ice. You name it and there is a problem. Very disheartening that Samsung is aware of this issue as the internet brought up numerous references including a pending class action lawsuit. Samsung’s failure to step up and be a responsible corporate entity by paying for a long term repair or recalling what they know to be a defective product will be forever engrained in my memory. I have officially removed any of their product lines for my household future purchases and will be certain to advise others on their lack of concern. Funny I did the same with Montgomery Wards and HH Gregg years ago and look where they are now. Out of business! I hope this review helps others from making a very costly mistake on their appliance purchase.

We installed a Samsung SMH9187 over cook top microwave in August 2009. I liked the 5 speed fan. The low speed was quieter than others at low speed. Controls stopped working August 2012 so I replaced membrane touch pad - a 3 year life. Now May 2013 (0.75 years later) and no response from touch pad. I just solved the problem. The problem of lack of response to control pad (a membrane switch) was to separate two sections of the control pad cable. The membrane switch type control panel was a film cable that connects to the circuit board. A 7-wire piece folds back on the cable, causing confusion for the control system on the PC board. The solution was to insert a small rolled up paper tube to separate the two cable sections. To test this I removed the paper tube and clipped the cable pieces tightly together. The controls became unresponsive. Separating the cable sections again restored function. This is a quirk in the Samsung design. It may have been unnecessary to replace the first membrane switch ($19). When the new switch was installed, by chance the two cable pieces were separated just enough to work. Then over time they moved together, initially causing some problems, then later total non-function. This problem may cause one to push hard on the buttons to make it work, possibly damaging the switch.Step by Step Instructions: 1. Unplug microwave for safety; 2. Remove 2 vent cover retaining screws from top front of microwave; 3. Push vent cover left to unhook and remove; 4. Remove screw on top of control panel box; 5. Push control panel box up to unhook and remove. No need to disconnect anything; 6. Insert a rolled up tube of paper 2 to 3 between folded back 7-connector piece and the main cable; 7. Re-install control box and test. Then re-install vent cover.Im amazed at all these problems people are having. One would think Samsung would help, but it seems they hide behind warranty is up so call a repairperson. Our last phone purchase was Nokia, not a Samsung, as I have lost faith in the brand.

This has to be the worst dishwasher on the face of the earth. To begin, the workers who delivered the machine broke our woodwork on the floor and they tried to hide the damage. We used the machine twice and couldnt stand the smell and the grinding noise was deafening. Samsung came out and began berating me telling me that this problem was not covered by the warranty and I will never be able to use the warranty again. The repairman was actually yelling at me. I finally had to ask him to leave. While he did fix the machine, like others, it wasnt long before I began experiencing other problems. Hopefully, theyll come out since its still under warranty and be professional about the repair. Weve never had such terrible problems in all our years of owning a dishwasher. This machine should be recalled.

RSG257AARS - I bought a higher-end refrigerator a few years ago. Ive already had 2 shelves break as well as the freezer door handle that keeps popping off. I was told by Samsung Executive Accommodation Customer Support that its considered normal physical damage and therefore no accommodation would be granted (for the handle). I asked him to affirm that he was essentially saying that Samsung considers it normal for a refrigerator door to pop off just 3 years after purchase, and incredulously he did. We bought our Samsung refrigerator (#RS265TDRS/XAA) in June 2013. As soon as the warranty was out, we started having issues with the freezer and the ice bucket. The refrigerator started making noises. June 2015, our temperature sensor went bad and after wasting lots of hours online and on call we were able to get a Samsung representative to replace the bad sensor (paid $170). Dec. 2015, the temperature sensor gone bad again and after following the same process, we were told we have to pay for the labor and parts again. This is ridiculous! Why should the customer pay every 6 months for a bad repair rework? I guess they make more money on replacing bad quality parts than on selling a quality product. I canceled their service appointment and am hiring an independent repairman to do the repairs. I can at least get the work done at a good price and buy a good quality sensor (that would last more than 6 months). There is no reliability that Samsung offers to their customers after the product is sold. Reading all the other reviews, looks like these problems are just a beginning. The only Samsung products that we have are refrigerator and phones. We have had issues with our Samsung phones, but with this experience we promised ourselves not to purchase any Samsung merchandise in the future.

My Samsung Fridge Model #RS265TDRS started acting up after about a one year. I noticed our milk spoiled prematurely along with other items in the fridge. I remember hearing the fan in the fridge sound louder than usual just a couple of days prior to this. It appears the coils have froze up with ice causing the fan to ice up also stopping it from spinning causing a domino affect. I will have to locate the receipt and upload at a later time. I see this is a very very common problem with Samsung. This was not a cheap fridge and to be having this issue this early is ludicrous. I have the unit turned off and am allowing it to fully thaw before restarting it and seeing how long it lasts this time. Very Very angry & disappointed with Samsung.

The control panel went bad, and the unit (two years old, gently used) flashed an error message. Its a common display, from what I learned online. Samsung makes a microwave with oven lights and fan to fit over an oven but cant tolerate the heat and vapor that rises from the stove. Many, many of such units have suffered control panel failure. I called Samsung and outlined the problem. That was almost two weeks ago. The Samsung representative said I would receive a call within two days with information about who would repair the unit at no cost to me. The company would extend the warranty for this repair because of design flaws. Then, she said, I would receive a call within no more than two additional days from the repair company to set a date and time for the replacement. Ive received no calls from anybody about this problem. Im trying now to retrace my earlier call, and its frustrating. I want my microwave repaired, and Samsung is not cooperating after promising my satisfaction.

Bought a Samsung dishwasher from Best Buy and had installed late Jan 2014. Once installed had service come out to the house FOUR (4) times to repair. Would just stop working. It never cleaned that well. Glasses always came out dirty. So here we are AGAIN, the dishwasher has stopped working but because we are now over a year they say our warranty is out and refuse to fix it. If you buy a brand new product and within the first year need service 4 times, dont you think there is an issue? And its convenient that the last time they came out they said if we needed service again they would just replace it... Its pathetic Samsung does not stand behind their products. But I guess they really dont want to because its crap. And in my opinion, my warranty shouldve started over every time they had to come out and repair it.

The refrigerator was purchased 8 years ago. It was replacing a 30 year old General Electric that still worked but was not “energy” efficient. Shortly after the warrant (1 year) ended, the vegetable and fruit bins froze up. The temperature kept warming and all the food in the freezer and refrigerator had to be thrown away. The worth was about $200. I called for repairs and was told I had to use specific Samsung warranty repairman. The repairs were not covered but some of the parts were. Since then, I have had to have it repaired at least 5 times and have lost 100s of dollars in food. I finally purchased a small GE for the garage to move the food when the fridge shows signs of failing. I have written, emailed and called Samsung several times and have not received any satisfaction! I will never buy a Samsung appliance again. They need to stick to TVs.

Then the ice maker fell apart about and a few months later I noticed ice accumulating under the produce bins making the drawers impossible to open. Removal of the ice solves the problem for a month then the ice returns. Taking out the ice involves pouring in a lot of hot water; the task is annoying and not a good use of my time at the weekend. We bought our dishwasher (Samsung stainless DMT610RHS) less than two years
We bought our dishwasher (Samsung stainless DMT610RHS) less than two years ago, in November 2012. Since we bought it, it has leaked (just a small puddle), it often smells, it stopped cleaning the dishes well (the spinner or impeller was blocked) and now the display only shows part of the numbers and the pump doesnt seem to be working. The bottom spinner doesnt spin or have water come out of it- so the dishes dont get clean. The leaking stopped after I cleaned around the seals, or maybe I just moved them as there wasnt really anything there to clean off. We took the spinner out and unblocked it. And just tonight we unscrewed everything at the bottom and cleaned it out. Guess what we found? A plastic part (from the cheap cutlery holders) lodged in the bottom impeller. Now it seems to be working but it is leaking again. And the display still looks funny. Only parts of the numbers light up. I was hesitant to buy Samsung, but my boyfriend paid for it and convinced me that it would be fine. I will never buy anything from Samsung again!! I have been looking for a new oven and always tell the sales person NOT SAMSUNG. Lowes and Samsung both told us that it is past the warranty so we would have to get it serviced. I cant believe they dont stand by their product. I bought a Kitchen Aid dishwasher on craigslist for $50 for my tenants and it is way better than this $600 one.

My fridge went out on our wedding day (Nov. 2, 2013). It took until Dec 12, 2013 for repairs to be done waiting on part from Samsung. Four and a half weeks later, the fridge went into demo mode again and wouldnt come out of it. Now I am waiting until March 6, 2014 to get repairs done. I understand some of this is because of the scheduling of the extended warranty I bought from the store. I have lost over $900 worth of food and only $400 is being replaced. I have taken off work 4 days now for them to come and look at my fridge or to try and repair it. I contacted Samsung about this and because I didnt purchase the warranty through them and they only offer a year warranty through them when you buy it they wont do anything about all this. A fridge that is less than 2 years old and Samsung doesnt stand behind their product because the extended warranty wasnt bought through them. I wont buy another Samsung product again. Their Customer Service treated me like I was an idiot to boot because they kept repeating the same thing even though I asked why they wouldnt stand behind their product for more than one year and why their product didnt last more than two years. We purchased this range in the Fall of 2016, Model #NE58K9430, with digital dials. There are several things that are disappointing. It is very hard to keep the glass top clean (this is not my first glass top range). Cannot use pot or pan that is not smooth on the bottom as it will scratch the surface. Consequently, I had to purchase new cookware. If you get too close to the digital panel, even your clothes will make it come on. If you get too close, the lock will come on and the only way to get it off is to flip the fuse box!!! I am short and reaching over to clean the top, the timer button will come on, the warmer button will come on, the self clean button will come on, and that is with only clothing touching. I am at the point of throwing this in the garbage dump. No wonder Lowes had it on sale, which even at $1000 it was no deal. Cannot find order info, but was purchased at Lowes Hardware, N. My DMR78AHS Samsung Dishwasher was purchased Feb 2011. DO NOT BUY Samsung French Door fridges! I have almost $3000 invested in a fridge that gave little, annoying problems at first, but as soon as the VERY SHORT warranty was up, the ice maker problems got worse and worse... Dripping water out of the ice maker flapper door, slushy ice cubes, ice dams in the ice maker itself, taking 1 minute or so to drop out 3-5 ice cubes, odd noises, not making ice at all... You name it.I tried to get a repairman, but no one returned my calls--then I discovered from several local sellers of the Samsung French door fridges, that there are so many problems with them, that repairmen dont want to repair them at all--knowing they will never solve their clients problems. The repairmen might take the call IF the unit is still on warranty, simply because they know theyll get more and more repair calls--all paid by Samsung. Once the warranty is gone, they dont want to deal with Samsung units.Consider this: I have a new millennium fridge and I make ice the way my Mom did in the 1950s--with ice cube trays! I think these units should be recalled--these are major expenses for a family--just like buying a car that is unsafe or poorly designed--or is an outright Lemon. Samsungs reply to me was a boilerplate letter with links pasted in to their WELL KNOWN repair bulletins... Each one I had already known about and tried! Then they linked to how to get a repair ticket started, but then repeated their warranty rules. Samsung customer satisfaction? Rate that at ZERO. If you know anyone considering one of these Samsung units, steer them away--- SHARE this post. PLEASE SHARE!

I bought a new refrigerator from Home Depot on June 22, 2016 (receipt attached). It was delivered on July 7, 2016. First the two front doors were not even. After numerous phone calls to home depot and Samsung the problem was partially corrected. After about a week of installation the unit shutdown by itself. All the food was spoiled.Again after numerous calls to Samsung and home depot a technician came and said the unit was overheating because of internal leaks of the coolant. He said he was going to report the problem to Samsung and I need to wait for Samsung for their decision if they want to replace the unit or send parts to repair the unit. This was on the 18th of August. We still do not have a resolution to the problem. My calls get transferred from one place to another and dropped many times. Very dissatisfied with their response. I do not have a working refrigerator after spending close to $3000 and both companies do not consider that I deserve a quick resolution to this issue. + I have been without a refrigerator for more than a week now during these hot summer days, but the response from these big companies is very disappointing to say the least.

This Samsung refrigerator is absolutely the worst on the market! We have spent more in repairs than the Refrigerator cost new. Starting with freezing up four times, to broken plastic parts, broken glass, and now a broken bottom freezer drawer. I would avoid at all cost. A pile of GARBAGE. If you could rate zero stars, that is what I would rate it.

This refrigerator is the best of the best. Purchased model with the refrigerated drawer. Perfect for cheese, eggs, lunch meat and canned soda. The ice maker is quiet and produces good quality ice. The filter gives clean odorless water for drinking. The freezer is large in capacity and has more than enough space for all our frozen foods. Love Samsung.

We bought the expensive, beautiful, black stainless 4 door refrigerator for our new construction kitchen. Within 6 months, the ice maker froze - the inside becomes a block of ice. It now does this every 2-4 weeks. Because of the time involved in thawing it out, we are without the ice maker more often than not. Samsung is no help at all. They are aware of the problem, but have no remedy. Save yourself money and aggravation and avoid Samsung, its junk.

Its designed to help the water evaporate, and it supposed to stay wet in the inside. I explained to the representative that I was using rinse aid. She said but the dishwasher has to get use to it. Is it just me that think this is the craziest thing ever? So after 20 mins and speaking to her manager they agreed to have someone come out to repair it. Im sure this will not be the end of this.

Wed morn we both took off work throughout all food purchased Sat (160.00) and started calling JCP & Samsung who after many calls blamed each other. The General Mgr Besu ** (JCP) stated over and over JCP has a returned policy of 48 hours. I explained this is not a return you need to REPLACE IT. IT IS DEFECTIVE IT... DOES NOT WORK AT ALL. He advised me to call back Samsung, again we called back went thru same story and person hung up, called again they said best they can do is send a repairman. Why am I going to repair a 3 days old refrigerator? REPLACE IT. He then said, Ma I understand the food probably doesnt take good warm. I got no resolution. They do not understand. Bought a brand new Samsung refrigerator 3 months ago. This past Friday it died. Lost a fridge full of food and ruined my hardwood floor from all ice melting. Called and they couldnt get out til Monday. They said I would receive a call later that day with an appointment time. Never got a call. They showed up without notice on Monday morning. Tech said it needed major repairs and they wouldnt have the parts til Friday. Thats 8 days without a fridge. Called Samsung call center to complain and they didnt offer anything to help us. Asked to speak with a manager. The response received was you are unable to talk to a manager. Asked for an email address for a manager. Nope not an email address either. What type of call center or any business doesnt have a manager on duty. That is an absolute lie. They just dont want to be bothered. We planned on remodeling our kitchen with all Samsung appliances. Not any longer. DO NOT BUY ANY SAMSUNG APPLIANCES!

I purchased my home 1 1/2 years ago and my home came with a brand new Samsung fridge, range and dishwasher. My dishwasher has already been serviced 3 times and it still stops working sometimes and has a flashing light that will blink to indicate a malfunction. My range worked fine until a week ago when we heard a very loud pop and the range completely shut down. We spoke with Samsung and they will not do anything about it. If you want to spend thousands on an appliance that will not last more than 2-3 years, Samsung appliances are for you. I am very surprised that a company as successful as Samsung has not recalled these potentially hazardous and outright disastrous products. One can assume, based on their lack of taking care of these problems, that within 3 years Samsung will no longer be selling appliances. I am extremely disappointed with this company and their products. Buyer Beware.

Never trust the temp, bought 2 fridge thermometers to keep in it and watch them constantly! Lost lots of groceries, had a new control board put in to fix the problem, but after 2 weeks had to thaw it again; now after only 1 week, it’s happening again. Is there a fix or do I go buy a new one? Would like to join a lawsuit with others!

Refrigerator purchased November 2011 (Model: RS263TDRS/XAA). Had 1 year warranty that ended Nov 2012. Noticed that refrigerator was not freezing. Had to discard all perishable items (eggs, milk, yogurt, etc). Thought that refrigerator was working, restocked items but found out it was not cooling when milk was sour in 24 hours. Called Samsung and spoke with customer service rep who told me that they could not do anything because warranty had expired. Called home warranty company who identified that block of ice forming within the wall of refrigerator. They attempted to remove the panel to get to back of the refrigerator but panel was frozen solid. I had the repairman to speak with Samsung rep, was told that based on what that actual found as the cause, Samsung would cover the cost. I am still awaiting parts since 6/25/14. Would never buy another Samsung appliance. I have 3 TVs and have had no problems. Refrigerators appears to be designed to fail after 2-3 years.

Samsung Refrigerator Model RF217ACWP/XAA Paint Peeling Handles - This refrigerator has been a nightmare. First the ice maker did not work properly. Then the top handles peeled and were replaced. Now the freezer freezes ice cream like a brick on the lowest setting. And again we have to not only replace the handles that were already replaced on the top, but we also have to replace the handles on the bottom. Samsung led us to believe that we had options of replacing the refrigerator or refund but then denied us and said they would fix it. I got a call today and they said it was cosmetic so I would have to pay to replace the handles that were ordered and ready to be installed. I am furious. I contacted the CEOs office by email and will continue to update my progress.

We purchased a Samsung Black Stainless, 4 door flex zone fridge. After being ordered it arrived May 27, 2016 for a new home that was being built. It was installed July 4, 2016 which was when we moved in and started using it. By August 2017, the ice maker completely malfunctioned. We had frozen solid icebergs all around the ice maker, no ice in the ice cube tray. Looked up troubleshooting in the manual, cleared all the built up icebergs and it worked for about 2 days before it completely froze up again. After trying for a couple of weeks we called a repair person which cost $80 for him to come to look at and possibly repair ice maker. He indicated that the ice maker needed to be replaced. In September we called Samsung support, they told us we had to call a Samsung approved repair person and provided us with a name of the company they approved and then I was told I be referring to the troubleshooting area in the manual in the future before contacting support (apparently if you feel you need support you shouldn’t call them). Anyway, called the approved repair company and they came out and said ice maker probably needed to be replaced but tried to seal the ice maker with weather stripping to see if it might have been warm air coming from the fridge that was causing the ice maker to malfunction. That didn’t work, again, within 2 days, everything was surrounded by frozen icebergs again so the repair people said they would contact Samsung to get parts to replace the defective ice maker. They also indicated that Samsung had admitted there was a design flaw in their icemakers that was causing them to fail. This repair company came on Nov. 15, 2017. It took 3 months for the parts to come in after according the repair company said they ‘had a struggle with Samsung”. They arrived on Feb. 14 with the parts and repaired the ice maker and handed us a bill for $614.00!!!! The defective ice maker has now cost us a total of $850.00!!! We had no forewarning from the repair company that it was going to cost this much. They had told us in Nov. that it wouldn’t be more than $300 so we were completely blindsided. We never would have agreed to have the ice maker repaired if we had known we were going to be charged another $614.00. I was very upset so contacted Samsung customer service. They asked for a copy of the receipt for the service, a copy of the receipt for the fridge, serial number, etc. I asked them to be reimbursed for the cost of the parts which was almost $500 of the $614 bill. Samsung responded back saying the fridge was past warranty and they would not reimburse me for anything. The fridge lasted 13 months, just long enough for Samsung to clear the warranty period and not have to take responsibility for their admittedly defective product. It appears it is reasonable to them that their fridges last for only a year before major malfunctions and repairs are required. Samsung in my opinion provides inferior, knowingly defective products and does not stand behind their products. Their customer service is poor and I will never, ever buy anything Samsung again. I would also like to add that I told Samsung customer service that we had purchased the fridge, gas range, washer and dryer. So we had been a good customer, purchasing several of their higher end products. They couldn’t care less. I would tell anyone considering Samsung anything to run as fast as they can in the other direction, stay away from Samsung at all costs. They are a company that supplies an inferior product, poor customer service and takes advantage of their customers by selling admittedly defective products, and then charging exorbitant prices for parts to repair them. Please warn people about how horrible this company is and to stay away from their products. We should not have had to pay $850.00 to repair a virtually brand new higher end refrigerator.

I bought this refrigerator in the month of Jan and then in June and July the ice maker froze and stopped producing ice. I contacted the help desk and they said as it was in warrranty they will fix and raised a support ticket. Now the service center which they are hooked up gave me a service date of more than a month which means I wont be able to use it for a month. So spoke to them again and they hooked me to another which was supposed to come after 7 days, now I waited for them for 7 days. Stayed at home so that I dont miss them but no-one came to fix. Now I again chatted with support and same thing, We have prioritized your ticket and they will get back. No resolution. Then they give me another date of 13 days from the day I am posting this ticket. So in short Samsung doesnt have any control over their partners. BUYER BEWARE: From the day I received the refrigerator, the bottom load freezer never worked. Within a six week period; I made multiple calls to SAMSUNG; was sent two local techs, who was in contact with the samsung; Samsung cancelled the third tech with no explanation and the freezer is still not working. Dealing with the SAMSUNG SERVICE DEPT. has been one long nightmare. They have an 800 number so you do not get to speak to the same person; they are located all over the USA and Dominican Republic. I was given misinformation, hung up on, transferred to other agents multiple times and had to re-explain the reason for my call over and over again. The agents read off a script about their service policy I cannot get a replacement refrigerator until a part has been replaced twice AND THEIR service tech deems it unrepairable; I cannot receive reimbursement for lost food until the refrigerator has been fixed. The problem with my appliance is that there was a factory defect with the freezer drawer, the techs were telling me, but not communicating this information to the SAMSUNG TECh. I was assigned a case worker after the initial conversation about the problem, I never heard from them again.

Water accumulates in veggie & fruit drawers which has to be poured out daily several times. Water also accumulates under the drawer. If not taken care of daily, Im sure it would eventually get out of the refrigerator and onto the floor. I had it repaired last October 2015 at a cost of $400. Two small parts were replaced which I looked up and only cost together under $20. The repair took less than 15 minutes once the food was removed. We have owned our $2000 refrigerator for just about 2 years when the motherboard and the inverter broke down. Everything in the refrigerator had to be thrown away, including the $150 of groceries we just purchased! We have been without a refrigerator for over 2 months because getting it serviced and fixed takes very long. Ordering the part alone is a feat in itself. The part would not be received by Samsung until November 6 making it even longer to be fixed. They would receive it then send it to the parts company here on Oahu. Well, being that we have a party on October 31st, my husband ordered the $111.00 inverter on his own and paid extra to have the part rushed over. We will receive the inverter on Tuesday, 10/21 and the maintenance person will come on Wednesday to fix our refrigerator. We owned a GE for 11 years with absolutely no problem prior to buying this one. Obviously we made the worst decision to buy what we thought was the top of the line! Jokes on us! We will never again buy Samsung again! Crossing my fingers that it gets fixed.

We use it as storage. The washer we bought was no longer spinning the clothes. So we replaced it with another product. The dryer who knows when that will stop working. I thought Samsung was a great company and their products would last long, but this is the worst thing to be wrong about. Thousands and thousands of dollars down the drain. We just had a service guy come out on yesterday about another issue with the TwinCooling Plus panel on the inside back wall. That was $309.00. Model RF220NCTABC/AA - cracking noise from doors. The problem with the door
Model RF220NCTABC/AA - cracking noise from doors. The problem with the doors is not exactly in the hinges themselves. There are two plastic pieces: one black in the top next to the hinge, another white in the bottom next to the hinges. These parts have the function of toggle-close the doors and unfortunately are not of the right quality. They are each attached to the door with one Phillips screw. If any of them breaks, you get the crack sound. I just removed the one on the bottom right and the problem went away. Your technicians answering the phone should be trained on that and even if the refrigerator was bought more than one year ago, send customers these parts for free. Probably the postage will be more expensive than the parts.

I have a Samsung dishwasher that was manufactured in 2011 (model number DMT
I have a Samsung dishwasher that was manufactured in 2011 (model number DMT400RHS). It has several physical defects. The lower front cover (part Number AP4342361) caught on the door repeatedly and bent, which requires me to periodically rescrew it to the dishwasher. A prong on my upper dish rack snapped off and is rusting. The dish rack rollers (part Number AP4342187) pop off of the dish rack repeatedly. The biggest problem, however, is that a metal piece of the interior cabinet has partially detached and bent. It prevents the lower dish rack from being pulled out or pushed in without a great deal of effort - particularly if it is weighted with plates. I was told by a Samsung authorized service technician that this problem could not be repaired but that the part was under a lifetime warranty. Unfortunately, since I am not the original purchaser of the dishwasher (the previous owners of my home installed it), Samsung will not offer me any compensation or assistance in finding a solution.

We purchased our Samsung Model RS261M Side by Side Refrigerator in May of 2
We purchased our Samsung Model RS261M Side by Side Refrigerator in May of 2010. By August of 2013, it quit, after leaving the smell of burnt electrical components. We purchased it from Sears, so we called Sears to repair it. The Sears repair person stated that the main circuit board failed, which would be a minimum of $400 to replace, and that likely it would need other sensors or motors. He stated that the Samsung 26 CF refrigerator is infamous for poor quality and reliability. He stated that the compressors go out often and that many times Freon leaks out of the system, in areas behind the cabinet that makes it impossible to repair. He recommended against the repair and advised us to purchase a Kenmore brand. I called Samsung Customer Service. They said that they would call me back in two days to talk to me. Very poorly made product. Refrigerators are known as durable goods that are designed to last 10 years or more. This Samsung lasted 3 years 3 months and 19 days, one third of the industry standard.

I have a Samsung Refrigerator side by side unit that I purchased from Lowes
I have a Samsung Refrigerator side by side unit that I purchased from Lowes along with a four year extended service warranty. The Refrigerator unit stopped cooling the first week of August 2014. Via the Appliance Repair company sent by Lowes took a week to come and then had to order parts. The parts ordered from Samsung took two weeks to deliver and were the wrong parts. Today, a month later, the second set of parts ordered were also wrong and I was told that Samsung shipped the wrong parts once again. Samsung cant be contacted nor expedite the parts. The service provider indicated that Samsung has a poor parts department and is not responsive to the consumers need to quickly obtain parts to repair its products. The part needed is now on order once again and I am not optimistic that Samsung is capable of delivering the proper part for its product. I was told that Samsung has many victims experiencing this same issue and simply doesnt care about the consumer.
