I bought this dishwasher in January 2015 and it has been a nightmare since
I bought this dishwasher in January 2015 and it has been a nightmare since I have had it. While under warranty LG had 5 different people out to fix it. I have not been able to use this dishwasher more than able to use it. I paid approximately $800.00 for this dishwasher and the one I had when I lived at an apartment was 100x better than this. Didnt clean well... ALWAYS problems with it. LG would not replace, kept fixing issues with it. I had to have the motor replaced, door replaced, dish soap dispenser replaced 2x, steam vent replaced, hoses replaced, seals replaced and it has been a lemon since day one. Again, last night after having yet another repairman out and only repaired about a couple of weeks ago, it breaks again and wont even come on. Seriously, what a piece of junk. Will never purchase another LG product again. Went out this morning and purchased another dishwasher. The LG is now out of warranty. Oh, and also one of the repairman told me that LG should just replace it and guess what, never heard from that repairman again. They said his work was not up to par... Really LG, I think youre not up to par!!!

On Jan. 18, 2019 we purchased the above referenced microwave. It never worked when we brought it home, and Best Buy stepped up and just let us trade the non-working one for one that did work. Now, less than 3 months later, the machine stopped working overnight--lights and turntable work, but no heat or cooking is generated. Working with LG customer service warranty department is a nightmare. The customer service staff is very difficult to understand, when you are transferred to another department, there are very long wait times to connect, and instead of having it repaired locally, LG wanted me to pack it up and mail it to them. I have had LG equipment in the past and been satisfied. However, after this fiasco I will never buy another from them. All this hassle on top of not having a working microwave. My hope is that they will just pay me the purchase cost and let me get on with my life with a different brand. The customer service department and website are not user friendly at all.

LG Washer #WT5001CW - LG sent out a recall on the washer, advised not to use it because it could cause harm. Confirmed recall with LG, sent in Proof of purchase, was told it had to be fixed before I could use it. Then was notified they had no-one that could fix it in my area. Advised they were sorry. Was advised by customer service that they were sorry they couldnt help me. Last I heard from them.

We asked for a different guy since he hasnt been able to resolve our problem 3 times. There is no other guy. Now it is flashing. The dishwasher has worked on and off for about a year. Were just getting a new one - NOT LG.

LG washer drum wont turn. Called number in the user guide. Customer service gave me a number to call for repair. Turns out they are too far to service me. Logged in to LG website and called number for washing machines. It was a Sears number that services LG. I advised the washer was 3 years old and out of warranty, but the drum motor was warrantied for 10 years. She said they could not honor the warranty since I did not buy it at Sears. She said I should go back to the store where I bought it, but the store cant do anything past warranty. Talk about a complete run around. All local appliance repair centers service all brands except LG and Samsung. Guess I am screwed.

Since the first week I had LG, it made my clothes smell. Despite calling LG, and having a service company come out, the smell wont go away. I have a sick person with cancer, and they cannot lay on the sheets, because it makes them nauseous. I have to take the wash to my sons house. This is totally unacceptable. I have allergies, and the smell is giving me headaches. LG needs to take this machine back, because there is something gravely wrong. The reason is it does not empty all the water out, and sits in the machine. The water gets smelly, and goes into the clothes. To sit on the floor and empty the water after each wash, is unacceptable. Bleaching and numerous cleaning doesnt help, as long as it holds at least a gallon of water all the time. Please recall the LG front load model WM042HW/01. According to LG, this is normal, and are trying to say it is the soap/detergent that is the problem. This is not so. It is a water problem that always remains in the machine getting musty.

I apologize for the wordiness of this, but our situation has been going on
I apologize for the wordiness of this, but our situation has been going on for a long time. If I pay $800.00 for a product, and that product fails, I expect a refund. With LG, it doesnt work this way, apparently. I am so sorry I ever bought an LG dryer. I have a dryer at a rental that is over 23 years old. Not a problem; works like a charm. All I want now is a simple dryer with two buttons: on and off. No songs, no flashing lights. We purchased our LG dryer (washer and fridge too!) in June 2014. All three were delivered July 14, 2014. On November 21, 2014, the dryer stopped working. By that I mean that when you pressed the button to run a cycle, it sat there blinking at you and the drum did not turn. Hence begins the ongoing nightmare of 1) trying to speak with an actual customer service rep and 2) scheduling a service tech to come and fix it.On November 28th, an LG authorized tech came out. He couldnt fix the dryer and needed to order a part. Being a Friday, the part was not ordered until December 1st. December 17th, almost a full month since our dryer stopped working, the tech came out to fix the dryer. After spending two hours, he turned it on and it gave us the same symptoms. The tech then remarks, Hm. Looks like the installation did not account for propane. You need a propane conversion. Really? They tell us now? Why not during the initial installation? Why not the first time the tech came out? And this has to be at our expense of course. We are now heading into the holiday season. Family coming to visit. No dryer. We have by now spent gas money, our time, extra planning on when we can drive a load of wet clothes eight miles into town, and scrounged around for cash for the dryer loads. We paid the LG authorized tech over $200 to convert to propane. He did that conversion January 13, 2015. Two weeks later, on January 27th, the dryer failed again with the same symptoms as November 21st. My husband and I by now have spent hundreds of hours on the phone with LG and with Home Depot. It was around this time that we decided we wanted a refund. On one occasion, I asked for a manager (I was getting tired of repeating my story), and twice got cut off. This in one day. I called the tech company myself to schedule a repair. They know who we are by now and I asked them to please escalate! February 2, 2015: The tech comes out and cant fix it. It needs yet another part! We are furious and frustrated and tired of having to reschedule our lives around laundry trips. If Home Depot cannot sell a product for which the manufacturer stands by, then why do they sell it? February 4th. The Home Depot person I have been speaking with finally got me a phone number and a real person at LG. (My notes have at least six different phone numbers.) The LG rep told me she would be sending me an email to which I could upload my service call receipts, and my proof of purchase (they dont have this?). Again, I am spending my time running around for something I paid for. (Had to print it, shrink it, scan it, and make sure it did not exceed the MB limit imposed on me. Of course it did the first time I tried.) This makes no sense. This is not customer service. The woman whose name and number at LG I now covet, said I would receive a confirmation email in 24 hours. I did not. She also said I would receive a decision on my request for a refund in 72 hours. I did not. February 10: I finally gave in and called her back (like I said, hundreds of hours lost on the phone, waiting on hold, pressing buttons, getting disconnected), and my request for a refund was rejected. I have to have one more tech visit (which is currently scheduled for February 16), and then resubmit everything all over again. This is a nightmare!

Bought a LTC22350 fridge 3/26/12 for my elderly parents, $1,000. It has never kept the bottom cold (milk goes bad in three days) and frost up in the freezer. I read their instructions and removed about half the food in the freezer to allow room around the vents. Still have the same problem. Contacted them and of course it is not their fault because it is past a year. LG was successful in making a one year fridge.

Using a LG washing machine is like having a full time job. It take 90 minutes on a good day to do a what they call a 57 minute wash cycle. I have spent as may as 4 hours trying to do a load of towels, finally had to remove half the load and start again. Machine has flooded my basement four times because the water doesnt shut off when done. You have to shut the water off during the spin cycle. During the spin cycle you have to stop and level the load several times. I would beat my clothes on a rock before I buy another LG washing machine.

I purchased the stove from Home Depot on March 29, 2011. My kitchen remodel was completed two months later, making the actual age of the stove approximately four months old. I dont cook on the stove often and only used the oven this one time. I placed a tray with dinosaur breaded chicken pieces in the oven at 350 degrees. Five minutes into cooking them, I heard glass shatter. I ran to the kitchen thinking a window had broken. I looked at the oven and the inside glass had shattered. I waited the weekend and called LG service on Monday. A service man came on Tuesday (Granville **). He came late. He trudged through my house with mud and looked at my paperwork for the stove. He poked at the broken glass and tiny pieces fell on the floor. He took pictures, closed the door, took a picture of the serial number, kicked the tiny of pieces of glass off his work boot and proceeded to leave my house. I stopped him and asked if the repair was getting done today. He said something about the LG company. I said, “Could you please tell me if the repair is getting done today?” He said, Call the company tomorrow. I said, “Tomorrow, I want my stove done today.” He said, Call the company. I cant do no more. I immediately called LG and they said, Werent you told to call tomorrow? I said, “I want to know today.” They put me on hold and said they would call the service man. When they came back on the phone, they said, “The service man notified us that it was negligence on your part that the oven glass broke.” Was it on my part? I put something in to cook. The glass shattered only on the inside pane of glass and blew apart into tiny pieces that flew all over my floor when I opened it. And I have a small child that could have been badly injured if he was playing near this monstrosity of a product. A service man came, poked his finger at the broken glass and more pieces fell on my spotless floor. He kicked his heel to make the ones on his boot fall off onto my floor and walked away leaving them there. And Im into day six without a stove and your company is telling me I can get it repaired if I pay for it. Should I pay for it? I dont even think this stove is safe with new glass. Something caused that glass to blow apart, whether the thermostat let the temperature get too high, the glass wasnt properly sealed, or the complete stove is defective. One thing is certain. I did nothing wrong to cause this to happen. And the replies I keep getting, that are made to make me feel like a liar, are totally sickening. I have LG washer and dryer, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, stove, and seven wall unit air conditioners. And you mean to tell me that I never made a single complaint. But the one and only time I do, Im at fault? Did I deliberately or by mistake broke a window out of my oven? Absolutely not. I bought all these products in good faith. I even bought extended warranties on some. At the first sign of trouble, your company turns its nose up at me. What a disgrace!

I recently purchased over 10k in appliances from Home Depot and the Studio
I recently purchased over 10k in appliances from Home Depot and the Studio line of LG ranges is an engineering nightmare. As others have expressed on their reviews, this range (LG Studio 6.3) presents a very risky and dangerous fire hazard. We did a complete remodel on a new beach house and used all studio LG products, we do not even as yet occupy the house and have never cooked on the stove, nonetheless, mere bumping of the knobs will cause them to turn on unbeknownst to the passerby... Our new 150k custom kitchen would have been set alight if my husband had not smelled the smoke from another room. This has already happened 3 times in the month the range has been installed with no one actually occupying the residence! In disbelieve I did a google search and lo and behold this seems to be a common denominator for all LG range owners. I have contacted Home Depot and LG (Blah blah... We will send a tech. Lol.) however my brother who is a NASA engineer had a look and determined it is an engineering design flaw. It appears LG is closing this model out however if they had any credibility they will recall this immediately before there is serious injury or death... If there has not been already. I am speaking with a law firm next week about a possible class action suit and will post on this site with any information. If you are considering this product, you should do this with the utmost caution, it is a dangerous design.

This range is a major fire hazard! I cannot believe it has not already been recalled. The slightest brush up against the knobs will accidentally turn them on. Weve already had one small fire as a result. It terrifies me! In addition to this, the oven is suddenly not heating evenly and its only two years old. We are having someone look at it ASAP. I regret this purchase and would strongly advise consumers to STAY AWAY FROM THIS APPLIANCE.

Our new LG model 6323S electric range needed gating used to. Something to consider, LG designers didnt think of the 220 connection at the rear of the range. Unlike my old range, the back cover did not go all the way to the floor, leaving twelve inches clear and unobstructed access to the underside from the rear of the range, this allowed plenty of room for the electrical connection and allowed the heavy wiring to slide under the rear of the appliance and further allowing the range to go all the way back flush against the wall. With this new range, the full rear back cover completely prevent access to the void under the range, there is no room allowing clearance for the connection and storage for the excess heavy wiring, causing the range to stick out from the wall over three inches looking out of place and giving room for items to fall behind the stove. Im strongly contemplating getting rid of this LG range. When purchasing a new range, who would think of such an issue? Wont do the same mistake again.

We bought an LG Front loading washer and dryer from Sears about 1 1/2 years ago. We immediately encountered sporadic occurrences of what looks like oil streaks from the washer. We called Sears and they sent someone out, who replaced the tub and some other items, and also told us to use a different kind of detergent. A few months and a few ruined items of clothing later, we called Sears again and they sent someone out who replaced a bunch of stuff again. They then sold us an extended warranty on the washer. We thought Sears sold it to us, but it turns out we bought it from LG. So the problem has continued and weve called LG, who is telling us that our complaint doesnt fall under the terms of the warranty, that we are complaining about cosmetic outcomes of the laundry. Crazy us, expecting a brand new washer to clean our clothes and not leave grease streaks. They have been horrible to work with. They are offering to refund the warranty which, of course, allows them to walk away from us completely. I guess well need to try and get Sears back involved, as technically we brought this to their attention under the original warranty, and it never was resolved. If you are considering buying LG, I hope you have better luck than weve had. I will never buy another product that says LG on it.

I own an LG front load washer. It has been problematic since its purchase 3 years ago. It never cleans the clothes. It makes clothes smell awful. I found out others are having the same problem. I wish they give my money back. I used all the recommended treatments, washing machine cleaners (additional expense), emptying its water often (additional inconvenience), leaving the door open when not in use (hit my legs and bruise them), still clothes smell horrible, especially towels seem to absorb this mushy smell. I hope soon I will get rid of it. I missed clean smelling fresh clothes so much. I need to use a ton of drying sheets to suppress the smell. NEVER BUY FRONT LOADING WASHER. I WILL NEVER AGAIN. They do not save water because you have to wash your clothes again and again. Also you need to clean the machine with special cleaners while running it empty. So in the end no water is saved.

In November 2011, we purchased an LG Microwave (Model LMV1813SB). It lost power a month later and had to be serviced by LG. It went out again a week later. An LG service person came out and worked on it again, but due to the LG policy, would not replace it until after four service calls. We had the issue again in March and April and finally they are replacing it. My complaint is the extremely poor policy and customer service that LG has. They would rather have the customer go through the time and effort of not having a microwave, making numerous phone calls to LG and scheduling time to have the microwave fixed. This is such horrible customer service. The time and effort we have had to go through to replace the microwave is more than what the microwave is worth. Here is the icing on the cake. LG has shipped our new microwave but told us that the one year warranty does not include removal and installation. I had to argue to get them to reimburse me for this. I will never buy another LG product based on this horrible customer service experience!

Purchased a LG electric range, dishwasher and refrigerator and microwave. My wife and I decided this would be a present for both of us for our 25th wedding anniversary. We decided to get the top of the line stove with the convection stove, black glass top self cleaning range. The oven was blue inside and all the appliances were stainless steel. Within a few months we used the self cleaning feature on the oven and afterwards, the stove digital display showed an error and nothing worked. We called and after a several weeks, we had a service person come and repair the oven. It seemed that an electrical component had burned out. We again after a month or so used the self clean feature and once again display showed an error and once again waited for a repair. The second repairman told it this the same electrical component had burned out. He informed us that it was an LG design flaw which vented the 500 plus degree cleaning temperature vented partially on the circuit board burning it out. He said to avoid this, to not use the self cleaning feature. So this top of the line self cleaning oven had to be hand scraped clean. We have now noticed that the outer door on the oven is starting to fall off. The inner door is in place and the only thing holding the outer door on right now is the handle. Why of course we are out of warranty and now do we pay outrageous service call fees and parts or let it fall the rest of the way apart and trash it? The refrigerator shelves are flimsy and several have cracks and it takes, if you dont use it, approximately 4 days for the ice bin to fill. Its too bad that you can spend a great deal of money on a product and have problems with it several months after making the purchase. My wife is a Real Estate Broker and will make sure no new or homeowners needing appliance to steer clear of LG products.

After many unsuccessful attempts to have LG have someone come out to fix the oven under its warranty, LG finally scheduled a company to come out to fix the oven. After the company attempted to fix the oven four times, the oven still leaks so much gas when I attempt to preheat the oven that I cant use it. I purchased an LG LRE30451 In 2006. No problems until recently. The stove would not turn off. You had to either be able to 1. Pull the electrical cord from the wall or 2. Turn off the circuit breaker to get it to turn off. At that time I was not aware of the recall on the stove. The next day, you would get burners that would not come on or you could not control the temperature. I found that there is a factory recall for these ranges for this very problem and that they are a fire hazard. I contacted LG and they told me that it would be 3 to 5 business days for them to get back to me. (Meanwhile you can not to use the stove because of the fire hazard). On the 5th day afternoon, still no contact so I called them. I was told that there were no notes in my file and that they would get someone on it immediately. After numerous calls back and forth I was told they made me an appointment for repair. This was 2 weeks out. They did not even check to see if I was available or not and could not give me time. I asked for the number for the repair facility they made the appointment with and after several calls back to LG they gave me a good number. This repair facility A & E Factory Service stated that they only do service in my area on Thursday and Friday. Someone had to be home from 8 am to 5 pm. Do they not realize people have to work? When I told them no one would be home, they suggested I contact LG to get someone else. Thus yet another call to LG. I was told they could do nothing else that this was the only repair facility in my area. I told them this was unacceptable and I wanted to speak to a supervisor.Well they put a guy named Cortell on the phone. This was as useless as the last bunch I spoke with. He proceeds to tell me that basically it was not his problem I was not available and that they could start the whole process over looking for a different repair facility. Now, I was already told, This was the only repair facility in my area. When I advised him of what I was told prior he stated that I was told incorrect information. I asked how long it would take and he said just to locate a facility was another 3 to 5 days. You’re kidding right. Remember, cannot use the stove due to the fire hazard... When I asked him if LG was going to pay for my husband and I to eat out he stated no. When I told him I would continue to use the stove and if my house burns down it will be LGs problem. He then told me if I continued to use the stove knowing it is defective, it would be on me not them. Needless to say, they expect me to go approximately 1 month without cooking! When I told him they could just replace the stove he stated, We are not going to do that, your model is from 2006. Now just like other people stated you normally have a stove that lasts 20 years before it goes bad. LG products do not last and when you do have an issue their customer service is horrible and they do not care! I am still waiting for the second round to start.

I bought a front loading LG washer. It was one of the more pricey washers. Ive had it for 3 years and now it sounds like a 747 airplane is landing in the laundry room - LOUD grinding in spin cycle. The cost to replace this out of warranty is astronomical as it is a tub and bearing replacement. I posted this to the LG website for reviews and they sent me back an email saying the review did not meet their standards. I guess that is because it was a poor rating?? I will not do business with this company again. My previous washer lasted 10 years and this one only three - think I will skip LG in the future. It would be interesting to know how much LG earns on their repair side of the business.

Purchased the 7.3 cu. ft. Electric Double Oven Range with ProBake Convection (LDE4415ST), EasyClean and Infrared Heating System on 9/17/2016. I love the double oven. I notice the knobs do turn on the burner very easily. My biggest issue is the printed numbers on the knobs have worn off 3 times so far. I have only used the Weiman stove top cleaner and sometimes Windex to clean the top. I have replaced the knobs 3 times because I can no longer see the numbers. My current set is starting to go, not sure what if anything can be done, getting tired of replacing knobs! There is also a white residue on the burner, seems like its inside the glass though.

Purchased this refrigerator with high hopes due to the design and features but thats where it stopped. We have had numerous service issues about cooling and freezing over past 2 years and now they cannot repair. After calling for supervisor he tells me 2-3 more weeks for an approval to replace...we have been without this appliance working for 11 weeks with 8 repair visits. I will never buy anything LG builds ever again, horrible experience.

Purchased an LG refrigerator appx 4 years ago. Stopped working, not cooking. Called numerous repair providers to see if they can fix. Nobody I can find would look at LG product. Called LG directly to see if they can find someone that I can call. Ended up purchasing an out of warranty contract through LG called Assurant. For 2 months now I have had a non-working refrigerator. I have had numerous providers get scheduled to come to my home only for them to not show leaving me having to keep calling Assurant. I was advised by Assurant that it is from LG that they get the list of service providers so they have no way of knowing anything about them except the location to my home. Finally 2 months later and 3 service providers I was informed that my refrigerator was going to cost too much for LG to repair and they would total it out. The coolant system was shot along with the compressor. When you call to check the status of getting this taken care of I am told that they do not have anyone certified to fix the coolant system. But I was granted permission to find my own service provider to come out and fix it but the catch... not only would I have to pay out of pocket, while the provider was at my home I had to call Assurant and have the provider speak to them in order for them to reimburse me for services. I said that was unacceptable. A supervisor informed me that since the refrigerator is less than 7 years old and its the sealant system, LG would be responsible for replacing it.Again, I get on the phone with LG to file a claim for a defected item. After 4 days of not hearing anything I called today Only to be told by 2 supervisors that they cant do anything. I was given the option to pay out of pocket and get reimbursed but they denied my claim to have it replaced. Didnt matter what I said, the customer service at LG has the most disrespectful people.I am not in a position to pay $1200 out of pocket to try and get reimbursed and all they can say was, I cant help you. They do not want to acknowledge the fact that their product is defected and the sealant/coolant system is not working. They can provide names to me but wont pay for it because under my contract that they sold me, nobody is certified to do the work. So how am I supposed to have this fixed?? I have 3 kids and my husband needs to keep his medication refrigerated. So for 2 months after purchasing a contract, I have been keeping food cold in a cooler with ice. Totally unacceptable. All LG can say is sorry I do apologize . After just speaking to one of ten supervisors at LG, and stating that I will be contacting the better business bureau and consumer affairs she said, Go ahead, do what you want. Like I need her permission? No I need them to stand behind their product which they do not. So now I am told I can cancel my contract in writing and since they cant help me, they will refund all of $100 of the amount I paid. Still leaves me with no refrigerator and nobody at LG willing or able to look at something that is defected unless I choose to pay out of pocket. Absolutely absurd. This company is the worst. I am so sorry I ever purchased a product from them and whats even worse is the horrible customer service.

LG makes great products that are reliable and very durable. They have a great reputation and an amazing staff. Their products allow me to be flexible in what I can do in the kitchen and how I can get it done. The fridge had a sleek anime with a great water filter built into the refrigerator and a multiple setting temperature gauge. The refrigerator also had a great ice maker that allowed us to be flexible. With current technology I would make a self cleaning product in the fridge. I would also make the ice maker larger and more compatible.

LG French Door refrigerator LFX28979ST - This the second LG refrigerator I have bought in the past 10 years. I have had problems with both. I have spent over four grand not counting over 1,500 on repairs. In the latest one we have replaced 2 compressor for over 1,000 dollars in 7 months. If they know they have problems with compressors the need to fix it. I give their product a zero rating. The whole LG staff is worthless and of no help and just pass the buck.

LG French Door refrigerator - I hope this review will provide you with enough information to stay FAR AWAY from LG. I purchased this refrigerator in May, 2013. In early September 2017 the compressor died. Until LG determined that there was NO qualified installer in the Phoenix area, they made a one time arrangement with an independent contractor to install the new compressor. Five weeks later the replacement died and we have been arguing with LG customer service to have a new compressor installed. This has been going on for about a week. Two weeks ago I had knee replacement surgery and I am to ice it quite frequently. It take a freezer to do that. My wife has to keep going to the market to buy ice for me. LG does not give a damn about anything. They will offer no compensation for food lost, we asked LG to replace the refrigerator and they just laughed it off. As of today we still do not know when this will be repaired. What a disgrace!

I have contacted the warranty department several times letting them know it has broke again and again, they tell me its a different problem because of what their people wrote on their end. Im so tired of getting the runaround. You spend $900.00 on a machine that you used less than taking your laundry to laundromat then they offer a 50$ voucher that was never received. I unfortunately purchased an LG brand front load washer and dryer from Home Depot. I wish I would have done some research first because it would have saved me a lot of problems. The washer is very high maintenance in which you have to drain it and clean out the trap. At least once a month, there are cleaning pouches that Tide makes that you have to use to clean out the washer. It seems no matter how often I use the pouches and drain it, my clothes have a musty smell. One of my biggest complaints is that I can not wash a lot of my blankets and comforters because they get too heavy and off balance the drum no matter if I try repositioning them.

Updated on 02/06/2019: THIS IS AN UPDATE TO A PREVIOUS POST. We strongly do not recommend buying the LG gas oven/range model LSG4513ST due to quality issues. We also strongly do not recommend buying the LG gas oven/range from Lowes due to poor repair service, and the lack of good faith to honor the purchased extended warranty. We purchased a LG oven/range, LG refrigerator, and Bosch dishwasher from Lowes for our kitchen remodel, including a Lowes 5 year extended warranty. Our LG oven/range was installed April 2017, and we immediately observed that the control panel would signal the oven had achieved programmed temperature, but bake or broil items were undercooked. We observed the control panel would signal the temperature had been reached in about 5-10 minutes, but the oven interior took about 45 minutes to reach temperature. The LG service technician in October 2017 stated that the oven/range function was normal. In October 2018, the oven/range began turning itself off after being programmed for bake or broil. Lowes service has made five service calls during November and December 2018, without fixing the problem. Lowes notified us that our extended warranty was invalid after four service calls. The extended warranty was confirmed valid after we threatened legal action. On January 28 2019, Lowes Service phoned and indicated the oven was to be replaced. On Feb 1, 2019, Lowes Service reversed their position and decided to schedule a repair appointment for Feb 7. We have not had a functioning oven for four months.Original review: We purchased an LG LSG4513ST gas oven in Nov 2016. We do not recommend the oven. The oven has never functioned correctly. We purchased the oven from Lowe’s with a 5 year extended warranty. We have had numerous service calls without success. The oven will not stay on after programming.

I bought an LG bottom freezer fridge. I immediately noticed a high pitched whine noise whenever the compressor was running. LG gave me a big runaround but finally sent a tech to check it out. They gave a deposition that it was a normalnoise. All I know is that you can hear it all through the house and is extremely annoying. Potential purchasers be warned. If you dont like a noise that goes through your head like a spike, stay away from LG.

LG dishwasher inverter direct drive - If I did not have to pay to reinstall, I would toss this one and replace it. It sounded good that in the bottom rack the dish dividers folded down to arrange space for large items. Yes, they do -- every time I load, close, open, or almost when I breathe when using it. If I partially load (of course, I do) and close to await more future dishes, the dividers fall over and the plates and bowls tumble. So frustrating because I have to reload every time I GENTLY close the door (if I get to that point before they fall). I now work in very slow motion and hold my breath when using it. Lets capitalize VERY dissatisfied!

HMM - obviously, there are problems. Never dreamed would have problems this quickly. I will never buy anything from them again - very poor service. I have read many reviews about bad outcomes with LG fridges - wish I had read prior to my purchase. Does anyone have any ideas on what could have 100% shut down the unit? I purchased an LG refrigerator less than 2 years ago. Last week the compressor went out. I called LG and raised Cain and they agreed to cover all expenses related to the repair. Today the technician comes out and says I owe 79.95 for the diagnostic visits. I called LG and their customer service rep says yes they will cover the service call. Then the tech says no they wont. So when I speak with the supervisor of customer service he says no they wont cover it. So in spite of the fact that I was told they would cover everything, they will not cover the service call. There is no way I should be out any money on a fridge less than 2 years old. My grandmother had a fridge for 45 years. Today they make pieces of crap and create a revenue stream that end in purchasing another piece of crap. My next fridge will be a Sub Zero. I dont care how much it costs up front. At least you dont have to pump money into them constantly. I had one before this and it lasted 26 years with only one call for the ice maker. LG sucks.

We recently purchased the LG front loading washing machine. After three months it flooded our floor. We spent thousands of dollars in water removal. Upon looking online we saw that many other LG customers had the same problem with this washer. LG customer support was horrid, rude and of no help at all. They could hardly care less about their customers. After being on hold for hours I was told that someone would contact us in 5 business days. We are basically out thousands of dollars and will just recycle the machine as we dont want to sell it and have this happen to someone else. It is essentially unworkable and still under warranty. The first was when the motherboard went out in the middle of a cycle, locking clothes and standing water inside. After almost 3 weeks of waiting, the board was replaced and our stinky clothes were free. Now 2 years later every single load has issues spinning. It will spin for a minute or two and then flash UE. I rearrange and it does the same thing 2 minutes later. After a few weeks of this I shut it off and let the dryer do more of the work with a complete load of wet clothes. I strongly dont recommend this set to anyone unless do not have anything better to do but sit in the laundry room and watch the washer. Horrible set for the price!!!

Purchased an LG Side by Side the year it hit the market in 2016. Ive makes stopped working in 2017. Not a big deal because Ive is cheap and easy to make. In January 2019 I discovered that the refrigerator had completely stopped working. Unit was purchased from HH Gregg which has since closed down, leaving me no option but to contact LG directly. It is now well into April - 3 compressors and multiple technicians later - unit still does not work. The latest compressor was put in 2.5 weeks ago. The technician told LG techs that day that the unit was beyond repair and needed to be replaced as a lemon. LGs solution was to schedule the same tech to come back to my home on 4/16 with no new parts of instructions. On top of losing enough groceries to feed our family of six, now we have to added expense of a rented refrigerator. The useless unit is taking up the majority of my dining room. Calling their consumer line is a joke since all you get is a call center with absolutely no knowledge or authority. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT give these people your money. They have absolutely no interest in repeat business so they are perfectly willing to sell you defective products with complete disregard.

We bought a LG washer in 2009 and thank goodness we purchased the extended warranty. We have had so many problems and it has required numerous expensive repairs. In the first year under LGs warranty we knew it was a lemon. After four years of replacing numerous parts it is deemed irreparable. Our service person from the warranty company called LG and gave us a number to hopefully replace it. After six weeks of working with them we were given two reference numbers and felt confident that the problem was being solved and they had our initial sales receipt. We found out we have been working with a call center in the Philippines from a LG representative in Alabama. When I asked why they have indicated to us things were progressing he said you are dealing with people in the Philippines and they are going to tell you want you want to hear.In the end, I was told our washer had gone for final review and we would be contacted in 10 to 12 business days about its possible replacement since it is irreparable. When I called to find out why I had not heard back, I was given the run around again. It was only when I insisted several times on talking corporate that I learned we would have to go through the extended warranty company which was not the information we received at first. So for over six weeks we believed LG was handling this professionally only to find we had been given the run around and dealing with people who really did not understand what they were doing. I am very concerned about this kind of professionalism and why we werent told after numerous calls and all the information they had that they were not going to replace our washer. So if you have problems beware that even though you feel reassured the problem is being dealt with, it might not be. So why did they lead us on for five weeks and numerous phone calls? They could have told us initially we were on the wrong path.

LG French Door Refrigerator was moved to new address and wouldn’t come on
LG French Door Refrigerator was moved to new address and wouldn’t come on at all. I figured it was the cord, got pulled or something of that matter. I called to inquire on warranty and set appointment for repair. The place it was purchased gave me the number of the repairmen and the repairman showed and said he was not certified to work on LG, call Sears. So, I called Sears and they offered a warranty that would cover all repairs and services for $274, actually $300.00 after tax. They set a 2nd appointment, they show and tell me that $900+ in repairs and I only have $500.00 worth of coverage. I questioned the repairman that warranty was to cover all repairs/pans underneath and the ice maker, which is funny because it is not hooked up to water for ice. I guess he has some spirit that will tell him and guess what, it needs a new cord. I had Sears email the so called extended warranty. It only covers $500.00 toward repairs, or $500 credit at Sears, or I can have my $300.00 back. Wow, this is service that says to the consumer, I will sell a warranty that sounds great but the actual warranty covers LG for selling a $2,000.00+ fridge that is only worth $500.00 maybe and that is only when it is under 2 years old.

Our LG fridge is about 5 years old and it has died. I can understand that things can go wrong but the customer service at LG is terrible. They are extremely rude! We have had to take two days off work and it still isnt fixed. We were told the freon leaked out and the company had to address this problem. We spoke to several people at customer service and they were nasty. We have been without a fridge for two weeks and there is no end in sight. We are starting from scratch and have to be home between 10-2 tomorrow for a second service person to come out. They arent going to fix it! Just look at it! So we will likely have to take a third day off work if we are lucky enough to get anyone out to actually fix it. My husband was just recently diagnosed with cancer. The tumor is causing lots of pain. Ice packs help a bit but of course we have no way to keep them cold. This has been a real hardship! I would never buy another LG product. I purchased my LG Range in the hopes LG products would live up to the hype! In fact I bought all LG appliances. To my disappointment only the washer and dryer have lived up to my expectations. Anyways on to the range. My range was purchase in 2009 and the knobs became loose and wobbly by 2011. However, I kept using them until they completely broke off. After speaking with customer service and explaining the defect they reluctantly sent me out a brand new supposedly updated model of the knobs with the defect fix... WRONG!Fast forward to 2016 present day my knobs are loose, wobbly, and a couple have broken off. I called customer service and they tell me because they already sent out the updated knobs in 2014 they could no longer replace them. I explained it was a manufacturers defect and the knobs they sent out were the same defective knobs. The rep transferred me to Executive Services Corporate Office where I spoke to Jewel. She was very rude and short with me, continually stating Its our policy that we cant send out any more knobs and gave me the parts ordering department so I could pay for a set myself. She even went as far to blame me for the broken knobs saying that maybe I was using the oven wrong and she doesnt live in my house so she cant verify that Im telling the truth that the knobs are defective. She was cold and had no interest in hearing my side of the story. Basically she told me I need to eat the $150 cost of replacing the knobs every two years! Which clearly exceeds the cost of the range! She even hung up on me because I asked her questions she refused to answer because she knew it would expose LG as a fraudulent company that doesnt stand behind their product. I called back and spoke with Erica who was very nice and said she would forward the complaint. For now it looks like Ill have to eat the cost of the new set and repair the factory defect with a fix I found on YouTube which involves fitting a brass tube over the knob post. I hope we can win this battle against LG! Clearly the knob design is very poor engineering on LGs part or just too cheap to use aluminium instead of chrome plated plastic!

I wanted to let everyone know that there is a class action lawsuit for the refrigerators with the light not going out. It has been settled. Our four-year-old refrigerator (LG Refrigerator Model No. LCF25760SW with French doors) is having ice maker problems too. There are no repairmen in our area. It leaked water out into the floor while we were at work and caused floor damage. I ordered another ice maker from someone that LG recommended. It still has problems. Home Depot is where I bought it, but I cant get them to give me a repairmans phone number either. I will never ever buy another LG product again as long as I live. If you live in the middle of nowhere, dont buy LG products! They are not worth the price at all or the trouble.

We purchased an LG refrigerator (model LSXS26326S) on April 28, 2016. It was delivered and installed on May 3, 2016. On July 30, 2018, it stopped working, ruining approximately $300.00 worth of food. We contacted the store of purchase (Home Depot), and were told because we did not purchase the extended warranty, we would have to pay for repairs. We then contacted LGs customer service line, and they directed us to a local LG authorized repair provider. They were going to charge $125.00 for a visit to assess the issue, and if the parts were covered by manufacturers warranty, they would charge an additional $250 for labor... If not, who knows what the charge would be. Now, I understand wear and tear and paying for repairs, but a lightly used refrigerator (mostly just my wife and I in the home), breaking down after just two years of use, seems like faulty craftsmanship. I then went on LGs website and chatted, first with a representative, then with a supervisor, both of whom seemed less interested in a quality product than with pushing their warranties (which would not be as needed with a sturdy product). The bottom line was, they are not responsible for their product breaking after only two years, and we were responsible for any repairs. After this experience, I went on consumeraffairs.com and read numerous complaints of a similar vein, $1,500 - $3,000 refrigerators breaking after only a couple of years, with no support from LG. I received no help from LG, so I contacted my local news stations consumer affairs department in hopes of bringing to light LGs poor product quality and non-existing customer service.

We bought ALL LG appliances 3 yrs. ago, including their French door-in-door refrigerator. We’ve been without that fridge for THREE WEEKS now!! LG’s customer svc. is shameful. They think 3 wks isn’t unreasonable to live without a fridge. It took 2 wks & dozens of phone calls, hanging on hold for over 10 mins. to even get an LG certified tech assigned to our case. Took another week for THEIR certified tech to receive the new compressor from LG parts. (LG refuses to expedite shipping even when we offered to pay for it). He came, installed the new one & it’s STILL doesn’t work!!!!Admittedly, we were enamored by their products. We drank the “Life’s Good” Koolaid. The only element that differentiates one manufacturer, from another is their customer service when things go wrong. It’s easy to spew “Life’s good” mantra when people are spending millions on your products. It’s what a company does to help its brand loyal customers WHEN THINGS GO WRONG - that is the true measure of their worth. I was an LG brand loyal consumer. I’m over that now & hope to warn others so this nightmare doesn’t happen to them. My neighbor had a similar compressor problem with their Samsung fridge. They received a full refund for what they paid for it, in TWO DAYS!One of my husband’s cancer meds requires refrigeration. Even knowing that, LG customer service reps give the same rehearsed canned response; “we’re sorry for your inconvenience”. 1) They’re NOT “sorry” & 2) Being without a fridge for the whole month of August is considered well beyond “inconvenience”!!! They’re doing NOTHING except continuing to try to get it repaired at a snail’s pace. There’s NO possibility of getting anything done quick with them. I offered to give them MY FedEx acct. # to overnight another compressor. No, they can’t even do that. If I could afford to put this piece of garbage on the curb for trash pick-up, I would. But we bought all new appliances knowing we were going to be retiring & these were supposed to last us as we prepared to live on our fixed incomes. I would go buy a similar fridge by another brand manufacturer if I could, but we’re not drawing the salaries we once did. LG expects us to wait ANOTHER 3 wks or longer to see if their tech can replace the compressor, again. When asked if they could overnight it - no, that’s not their policy. They are a disgrace!!!

I have lodged my complaint No. ** on LG toll free number as of 10/30/2012 regarding the sudden burn out on my refrigerator model GL195NM4. Accordingly, company representative Mr. ** came to my residence on 11/01/2012 to study the case and advised me to send photograph of burnt fridge along with bill copy. The same has been sent by e-mail on 11/02/2012 and receipt was confirmed by your representative Mr. **. While continuously following up with them, they are saying that the company will reply within 25-30 days which is too late. Sir, all the customers were expecting good services after sales but in this case, I regret to say that a company like LG is hopeless because until today, I did not hear any positive response from them. Im really confused whether I have to say LG products are good or worst.

My mother who lives in LA got a high tech LG fridge about 4 years ago which 2 months ago its compressor stopped operating and from that time she has made 6 different appointments with LG customers service to fix it! Every time they go and have look at the fridge and they say well, its the compressor and we dont have it with us!!! Thats all they do. Then my mom has to call them again and book another appointment which usually takes 2 weeks for them to appear, and the same story goes on! Its such a shame that the summer is going to finish and my mom couldnt use her fridge for 2 months. I wonder if LGs customer service has any ideas about living without a fridge in the summer time at all??? Its while my mom paid about $4000 for an useless huge box to sit in her kitchen! Thats not acceptable, frustrating and were not only gonna stop buying LG products, but also well get a lawyer to fix this problem ASAP!!!!

I had the identical problem to someone else on here. We bought the LG French Door Refrigerator from Home Depot and the little hinge on the top of the door broke off and the door was constantly staying open. We just lived with it because we had previously had a problem with a new LG washing machine and nobody in the area would service it! I was told by a serviceman that LG didnt pay them for warranty work and although I dont know if that is true or not. I do know that I couldnt find a serviceman to fix the washing machine, which we eventually disposed of, even though it was less than a year old. Anyway, we moved from that house and happily left the beautiful LG refrigerator with the broken door hinge and lo and behold, the new house that we bought, had the same refrigerator and shortly after moving, the hinge on one door broke on that one too. LG definitely seems to have a quality problem with their appliances and I wouldnt buy one again.

We purchased an LG refrigerator less than a year ago and the compressor has failed and we had to throw out our food. Furthermore, when we called LG with the problem, they sent out a repair person the next day with no way to fix it. This seems to be a common problem with these refrigerators and the techs have no replacement parts in stock. They said 7-10 business days without a refrigerator until the part comes in. We have no idea how long it will take to schedule the repair once the parts comes in. This is SO unacceptable.

We purchased an LG refrigerator (Model #LDN20718SW/02) in January 2012. We have replaced the bottom shelf twice now. The second time it broke again within the first week. We have an extended warranty which would not cover replacement if broken within 3 months. We now have a shelf that is also broke that is not covered by the warranty. We do not have children living at home and are not hard on appliances. The plastic in this fridge is very brittle and does not stand up to normal everyday use. LG does not allow purchase of parts, even through an appliance repair, so you can replace these parts yourself. In Canada you must pay a service person to come out to replace these parts!!

After using LG washer WM4270HWA several months, the ink writing is coming off from the washers front panel and front panel buttons. Please look at the attached picture. The panel was not cleaned using any cleaners. The only explanation is there can be some detergent residue on the fingers after loading the detergent (coming from the detergent bottle or cup). It will dissolve the ink. This is the design problem since it has to be assumed that you are dealing with detergent and LG could cover the front panel writing with transparent plastic or film as they actually do on Power and Start/Pause buttons, proving that they are fully aware of the problem. They could use other inks or just glue the stickers that can be replaced later. Unfortunately, they didnt think much about it and went with the cheapest solution, and this is not the cheapest washer model. Finally, they refused to replace the panel saying it is a cosmetic damage. However when all letters will be gone how to select the washing options? It will be a functional issue. Having extended warranty is not helping either, Home Depot, where the washer was bought, is saying the same. One of their suggestions is to take a marker and write on the panel. Ridiculous nonsense. Be aware.

I purchased an LG gas range at our local Sears store thinking that it looked great in the photos. What a disappointment to spend over $1300 on this poorly engineered product! The control knobs cracked and became loose immediately. The customer service was a joke, just like the commercial on TV where the man (Peggy) from Siberia answers. Calls got dropped etc. New knobs with the same poor design cost $40.00 each! I did not replace them. I used glue and nylon ties to hold them on. The flames are all uneven and the metal covers are de-laminating. The knobs now are peeling from heat. I have decided not to buy any more LG products. It’s the only way to fight back obsolescence.

Updated on 08/23/2019: Hi this is third review about the same issue I have been having for 6 months in that LG is not fixing the brand new refrigerator that only worked for two weeks. I have been trying for 6 months for someone to show up to fix it. They then sent me an email a month ago saying they would call me to arrange a time to replace it. They didnt call. Another technician was scheduled to come. This would be the 19th appointment I have had with them and none they have shown up to. I just received another text saying that my appointment is cancelled and LG are doing absolutely nothing to honor my warranty with them in rectifying the situation. I can not say enough to never buy anything from LG.Updated on 08/14/2019: 2nd time I am writing about useless LG. I bought a brand new refrigerator. It broke after two weeks of owning it. 6 months has passed. They use A&E Factory as technicians. A&E have cancelled on me 17 times leaving me to wait at home for them and then either not calling at all or they text 30 mins before the end time. LG contacted me after I wrote my first bad review saying they would replace it. This was a month ago and now they have disappeared. Do not buy LG, the product breaks; the company is dishonest, they do nothing to help, they lie and do not follow the warranty. I am still stuck with a broken fridge with no help whatsoever. I never write reviews. I am so upset and angry about this situation I had to write this so no one else goes through what I am right now. I am utterly stranded and at the mercy of the technicians never showing up and LG doing nothing to rectify the situation. Absolutely disgusting.Original Review: Your freezer broke within two weeks of me owning the refrigerator. I have been waiting 12 weeks for someone to come and fix it. Your service provider in my area has cancelled and not shown up to any of the appointments that have been set. I will never ever ever buy an LG product ever again and I am telling every single person I know and all those that follow me on social media, on Yelp and Google and all sites to share my advice of never buying any LG products. I am disgusted with your company and disgusted I have been offered no compensation for this situation.

That part being a small piece which holds the softener and bleach. I even keep it open at all times so air can hit it and it still gets quite moldy. Also, it needs to be drained every now and then as well at bottom of machine. Dryer DOES NOT dry loads at all. I have to dry numerous times, both large and small load, even using the appropriate dry choices. I purchased a LG microwave in August 2018. The microwave alone was over $300 and was purchased alongside a refrigerator, and stove (all LG smart appliances). The microwave was used a max of 10 times over the span of two years as I am in the military and spend my time on the base. I was shocked that a microwave used this few times could suddenly stop heating. So I called LG support line. I spoke to a rep named Risaldo, he informed me the magnetron was the issue and is under warranty for 10years. He walked us through the process to file a claim (which we filed immediately with all documentation) and informed me someone would get back to us in 3-5 days regarding scheduling the appointment.A few days later we receive an email stating the microwave is past the manufacturer warranty and they are unable to send a tech to fix the microwave. I called back and spoke to a supervisor who stated that they are unable to help us at this point even though the microwave has been used such few times and despite the item in question (the magnetron) being under warranty. Apart from the microwave alone being a terrible product, the customer service I received spoke very poorly of the brand and company. As someone who decided to spend extra money to purchase these LG products, and given the deplorable customer service I have received from LG, it is safe to say I will no longer be purchasing products from them. I have purchased and worked with customer service with Samsung and GE and have never run into this issue. My fiancé and I have extremely busy schedules and do not have the time to continuously call customer service to resolve a relatively simple issue. I would suggest reading reviews very carefully before investing into their products.

I will avoid all LG products like the plague from now on! My smart top loading washer (recommended by Consumer Reports at the time) repeatedly gave the UE error. I called LG Customer Service for solutions to the problem. Their recommendation was to add/remove clothing to balance the load. Thats all the advice they had to offer. (Im sorry that I didnt have more dirty clothing to wash at that time. Apparently, they expected me to pull clean clothes out of my closet to balance the load!) When I operated the washer with no clothing in the machine, I realized the problem was with the washer - not my loading technique. After my water bill TRIPLED because of the huge amount of water used to attempt to balance the loads, I requested a service call. The technician informed me that the problem was due to a KNOWN software issue and all that was needed to fix the problem was a software update. I have no issue with this. What I do have an issue with is that LG Electronics failed to form consumers of this simple fix! Apparently, LG Electronics doesnt care about consumers- they just like to sell products. With Thanksgiving approaching, I thought I would use the self-clean feature for the first time. About two hours into the cycle, the oven stopped working completely. The digital display was completely dark and the oven doors locked and would not open even though the oven is completely cool and inoperable.I called LG and their phone representative told me that I was not alone, that this has been a problem with this particular oven and that the thermostat needed replacement. First, my warranty had expired and needed to be extended. I was asked to scan my receipt with the serial and model numbers. I did this the next day.Hearing nothing back from LG regarding the status of the warranty extension, I called them back. Initially the LG phone representative told me that they had not received my scanned receipts but then, after putting me on hold, he found them. He said that his supervisor had not made a decision about whether or not my warranty would be extended. I ask him how I would be contacted when such a decision was made and he told me that I needed to keep calling LG back. After one week of calling LG back I was informed that my warranty would indeed be extended. I was told that I should call the repair company that LG contracts within my area, Heavenly Cool, to have the replacement part installed. I asked the LG phone representative if the repair person would have the correct part and be able to fix the oven when they came to my house. He assured me that they would, that this repair with this particular oven occurred frequently and that it was just a routine repair.I called Heavenly Cool the next day and spent about an hour on the phone trying to set up a repair appointment. I gave them my model and serial number and was told that the repair person would have the part in-hand and be able to fix my oven. I took time off work so I could be home for the repair. While waiting at home for the repair, the repair person called me and asked for my model and serial number. He said no one had given it to him ahead of time and he would have to check and see if he had the proper part with him and call me back. I was stunned. I waited for his call. He called back and said that he could NOT come to my house that day because he did not have the part to fix my oven.I went from patient to stunned to righteously angry. I called Heavenly Cool and they did not know what the glitch was with communication but they would be glad to reschedule when the part came in! How much time can I take off work???? I felt that I was lied to. I called LG and explained my situation and they said that they would have to call Heavenly Cool to verify. I was put on hold. The LG phone representative resumed the call with me and said that, indeed, I had communicated the current situation accurately and that I just had to wait until the part came in for the repair. I said that taking more time off work was not an option at this point and he said that if this repair person had 2 or 3 other repair jobs in my area that they would come at a time convenient to me. Wow! So if the sun, moon, and stars all aligned properly I could have the repair done sometime after work?I asked to speak with a LG supervisor and was given Eric. I re-explained the whole situation and he apologized for my inconvenience. I asked Eric how he could help me and he said that I would just have to wait for the part to come in and for the attempted repair to occur. If the part did not fix the oven, then I might have to wait even longer for repair. At this point, 12 days had gone by since my oven became inoperable. Taking off work and eating out is becoming very expensive! I will be having 30 people at my house for Thanksgiving! I had done nothing wrong but use the self-cleaning oven feature that LG uses as a selling point for this product and now I was without a working oven. I asked Eric if LG would replace my oven under these circumstances and he, of course, said no and there was nothing else he could do from his end. All Eric could do was apologize for my inconvenience. Since Eric did not have the power to make this right, I asked to speak to Erics supervisor. Eric told me that there was no one with higher authority at LG than him. Wow! Eric apologized again for my inconvenience.I found this website and I see that I am not alone in my frustration but I am very alarmed that LG ranges sometimes catch on fire! I did notice that the bottom of my double oven seemed to get too hot and did not evenly cook food. Because there is a safety issue with LG products, I do not even want to use their products. I will never purchase anything from LG again! I will tell everyone I know not to purchase their products. If LG wants to stay in business, they should make things right for their customers! It is now almost two weeks since my oven broke and LG has done nothing effectively to correct the problem. I have, unfortunately, learned a very expensive lesson. The only good that can come of this is to warn other potential, unsuspecting victim consumers about the potential perils of purchasing LG products.

Two days before thanksgiving 2019 our three year old LG fridge stopped cooling. Two weeks later when the tech shows up he informed us the compressor had failed. Two days before Christmas it stopped cooling again. Supposed to be fixed January 16. We are currently using an Igloo cooler. Can’t keep leftovers and have to toss out lots of food and condiments, plus we have been buying bags of ice nearly every day. Having four grandkids plus ourselves an Igloo just don’t get it done, 3000.00 dollars poorly spent. It won’t happen again.

I cooked below the microwave. The steam and heat from cooking and combined with cooking in the microwave has crumbled the plastic that secures the lower handle. It is now taped on. A new door is 260 dollars. I cant afford that. What good is a microwave if you cant use it? Really!!!!

Electric Range model number LDE3017SW. After only using my electric range a couple of times, I noticed steam and grease lines inside the door between the two glass panels. These lines and this film and grease have continued to cover the inside of the double paned window. My range always looks dirty as if I need clean the door windows, but the grease lines and steam lines are on the inside. I called to ask them to come to fix the seal or replace the door and they said they are unable to do so unless I pay someone to come take the door apart to clean it. I should not have to disassemble the door to clean it. The seal between the window panes are faulty or defective. I had my first Maytag range for the first 34 years without anything beyond normal wear and tear from use. This LG one cooks and bakes well, but has this issue which is hard to look at everyday. Also, the top is white and the burner glass top areas already have stain. This is not as big of an issue for me as the streaked windows in the door. LG has refused to send anyone out at their cost when this is a manufacturers defect.
