Besides the fact that it barely agitates or turns over the clothes even on deep fill (which we need every time otherwise a whole HE cycle goes and the top clothes remain DRY), the oh-so-fancy power button stopped working at less than 2 yo! And guess what, because it is not a button or knob, but "control panel" sensor button you hover over to turn on, the fix is to replace the $400 little control panel box. On a $600 terrible washing machine! We trashed it and bought something else without a faulty button system. Very unhappy. Do not buy this.

The odor on my clothing and towels is absolutely offensive and I feel like everyone who comes close to me can notice it. I certainly hope that anyone who has a desire to purchase an LG front load washer reads all of these negative comments. I wiped out the inner rubber gasket. I could hardly get my finger inside of it and out came globs of black mold. I continue to run bleach through the machine as well as the fresheners that are recommended for front load washers. The odor still remains. I want my top load washer back, so I can return to Tide Mountain Spring detergent. My family was always complimented on how fresh our clothing smelled and I miss that! Shame on you, LG. You should be having a serious recall of all of these machines!

(Model WTW5640XW3) Whirlpool Cabrio worked Good for 11 months (just after warranty Expired). Replaced capacitor would not spin, hums loudly and smells like burning Plastic. Then about 2 months after that Lid locked, failed, replaced. 7 months then Actuator failed and now looks like the Main board give up. I don't know where The original parts are made but they are Cheap junk. New technology is crap for Washing machines, gears transmission and Solenoids last a lot longer plus they clean your clothes. And belts and solenoids.

We purchased model #28002011 Kenmore washer in 9/2011. We're 2 older people (no pets) requiring 3-5 lite loads of laundry a week. In the last year or more, the washer would add time while in a cycle. For instance, it would count down to say 2 minutes remaining, then adjust the time to say 8 minutes. When you're trying to perform other tasks this could be madding enough. Now after the wash cycle it would just click never performing the rinse or spin cycles. The serviceman informed us the washer's motor & transmission must be replaced at a estimated minimum parts cost of $250 plus labor. This was the worst major appliance purchase we have ever made. I don't believe trips to the laundromat would have been as costly & only less inconvenient in winter. I'm all done purchasing Sears products.

Purchased this washer 5 months ago. Have had service 3 times as dark clothes come out with white residue. I have done everything possible to correct the problem. They recommended from cleaning the machine, using less detergent, minimizing the load, using extra rinse, deep water and still the clothes come out with the residue. And it takes way too long to wash a batch of clothes. This is a known problem with this model. Repair company recommended a replacement and Whirlpool insists that it is a usage problem. One thing they said Could be water is too cold, I live in Florida there is no cold water! Whirlpool refuses to replace it. DON'T BUY IT!!!

I bought my Bravos washer (Maytag Bravos Model # MVWX700XL2) back in 2013. Worst mistake ever, First off the clothes never came out clean, regardless of how diligent I was following the directions on how to use this particular type of machine. Secondly, it started going off balance for every load if I put more than 4 pieces of clothing in. 2 months after having it recently repaired AGAIN for not spinning and going off balance, it is doing it again. It is only 4 years old! I bought it for the Maytag reputation, but now I am doubting that reliability.

I give the Bravo T/L Washing machine and the Maytag company zero stars. I had to call for service 3 times within the last 22 months, twice for the electronic panel which needed to be changed, and the third time, it needing a new tub/drive shaft assembly at a cost of $405.27. I did receive a call from the Maytag customer service and all they would do is make a note of my complaint. I feel if you pay almost $1,000.00 for a machine it should work for more than 22 months. I believe Maytag manufactures an inferior product.Not only did it not last, my family and I found that the clothes didn't come out as clean as it should have, and sometimes, the towels would have a mildew smell to them after washing and drying. I assure you that I have read the enclosed instructions of how to use the machine, load the machine, and only used products designed for the machine

I called in a claim on June 10, 2016 & my washer is still not repaired. The extended warranty company, AIG sent L&W out to repair my washer. After 3 visits it's still not repaired & the technician hasnt fixed it. Not only that he had laid it on concrete & scratched the outside. This is the worst experience I've ever had with a warranty company or service company. Aig won't even return my calls. Will never buy a Whirlpool appliance again.
