I purchased the Cabrio washer during the black Friday sale. The washer was a pretty slate gray. I loved the color and the fact it was a Whirlpool, which I thought meant quality. It was expensive but we were updating our appliances as our 10 year plus washer needed replacing. Big mistake. This washer is terrible. It keeps me stressed. There is not enough water to clean the clothes, my husbands white underwear is always dingy and dirty looking. The sheets are dirty and smells. I try putting bleach on whites before washing and the whites still come out with underarm stains. I tried all the recommendations to no avail. This machine is awful. This was a big financial mistake. As soon as I am able this machine is gone. Will go back to the agitator in the middle, and NOT a Whirlpool. I DO NOT recommend this machine unless you want something pretty because this is NOT a washing machine.

I bought the Whirlpool WTW 5000DW1 washer and dryer to go with it. Within the first 2 weeks the plastic handle broke on the dryer. Ive been using the corner of the plastic handle ever since to open the dryer. The washer is the worst washer I have ever purchased in my life. The tub doesnt fill up over the clothes half the time. It is perfectly balanced on the floor but it always bounces around and you cannot open it to rearrange the clothes because they lock the lid. The only option is to try to hold it and wait for it to finish or start over by pressing the button for at least 3 seconds. I have had a few items get shredded by it and a lot of times the clothes dont get cleaned and rinsed properly. Even on 2 rinse option. Just the fact that it has a 2 rinse option is a big red flag. It is supposed to be a energy saver and water saver but that isnt true. If you have to wash and rinse the clothes twice because it has spots from the detergent still on the sheets, something just isnt right. Whirlpool shouldnt even put a product like this on the market. I have owned many Whirlpool products before this but this is the last Whirlpool product I will ever buy. Obviously Whirlpool doesnt test its products or care about quality.

Whirlpool gold bottom freezer is 2 years old. This model has a design flaw. And due to this the drain is frozen in the bottom of the freezer. Water is leaking onto the floor. I called for service and whirlpool is charging me. To fix a problem that is their fault. This is unfair.

I exchanged my fancy front loader Cabrio washing machine for a top loader after having numerous issues: clothes werent getting clean, extended water cycle, and a leak. The original purchase was made at Lowes, where I elected to invest in the 3 yr extended warranty plan. After several visits from their sub-contractor, they allowed me to exchange the washer for a top loader Whirlpool Cabrio. At first the washer seemed to work, but after about 8 months I started having problems. The bearings went out and when the service company replaced it they forgot to screw top of the machine together. During my first load, I heard this terrible noise and discovered that the entire top of the machine had separated from the bottom by 2 inches. I frantically rushed to turn the washer off before my laundry room flooded. So, they were out again and screwed the machine back together but failed to retrieve the original screw that they removed from the washer during the first round. Well, the screw got lodged in-between the drum and interior, causing it to completely break the machine. Lowes agreed to exchange the washer for another top loader Cabrio, but my 3 year service contract would not cover the new washer. Not to my surprise, I immediately had issues with it and had to hire a repairman to assess the problem, who concluded that it was the bearings. He informed me that it would be about $700 to replace the bearings and cheaper to just buy a new machine. I called Whirlpool and explained to them about all my issues, now becoming almost comical. They arranged for an outside contractor to assess it. After confirming that the bearing were bad they replaced them. Another few months go by before problems occur, this time the washing machine stopped draining water and spinning. The service company was out another 4 times. They replaced things like the mother board and control panel. My last appointment was today, where the service guy said, There is only one error code. It is a stuck button. I said, Will you at least witness a full cycle so I can show you all my problems: clothes still dirty and stinky, items still wet after spin cycle, cycle taking 2 to 3 hours to run, horrible noises, and timer adding minutes to original cycle. He called Whirlpool because he genuinely felt sorry for my situation. They were of no help. He didnt stay to witness a cycle. Moral of story: if the error code doesnt detect a problem, the consumer will not be helped (this is something that consumers do not have access to). They will happily call a technician out to put a bandaid on an issue until your warranty runs out. I have had between 7 to 10 service calls out to my house, requiring me to take either an entire or 1/2 day off of work each time. If I added up all time lost at work, I could have easily purchased a top-of-the-line washer/dryer duo and been done with all this Whirlpool foolishness. Do yourself a favor, stay away from this product.

The washer and dryer are great. They were a reasonable price and they have not failed on me yet. Thank God. I like the little reservoirs where you could put your fabric softener and soap which this one does not have but it was a good price so I ended up purchasing it. The whole family puts all their clothes in it and it runs on a daily basis so I have nothing bad to say about it. Thats for sure.

Whirlpool refrigerators are best whenever I used many refrigerators. It provide many useful service to users. It allow us to store different varieties of products including vegetables, fruits, beverages and many more. It can make cube ice for to use in different drinks, products, etc. It consume less energy to used this Whirlpool refrigerator products. We used Whirlpool refrigerator with less stress of storages of fresh vegetables and fruits. Water is main thing we used to store in this fridge, it maintain temperature well for cool and fresh taste of nectar of nature. Nowadays, refrigerator are used widely in our locality especially Whirlpool which I mentioned them earlier to buy this awesome product to give comfort of mankind. I recommend Whirlpool refrigerator.

Ive owned the microwave for 2 years, and recently the DOOR AJAR alarm goes off whenever I try using it. The appliance is now essentially unusable. I wish I knew about this known defect before purchasing. I spoke with Whirlpool Customer Care, and they want to charge me to have someone come fix a known defect. The charge is more than what I paid for the microwave. Please avoid Whirlpool at all costs!

So I have had the washer for a few years - bought it new or at least I thought. First came a clunking noise - fixed that. Next came the F1 code and installed a new pump $90 plus dollars. After installation, Im still getting F1 code and am now being told it is the ERC control board or water inlet valve either way a guessing game which in the end will have cost me over $400 to fix myself. I wish companies like this would stand behind their merchandise.

A top loading washing machine with an agitator in my opinion, gets my clothes 100xs cleaner than one without. Ive owned front loaders and top without agitators. Never again. Top with agitator is my personal preference from now on. Also Whirlpool has never failed me unlike other brands.

I washed my expensive sheets in the washer on deep water... hot and filled up the bleach dispenser as instructed... My sheets came out splotched and ruined... I also keep getting lint on my clothes. This thing just doesnt clean. Im so upset about my sheets. Please dont buy this thing. Also bought Whirlpool stove and paint was peeling off after 3 months. They wouldnt even help me. Im so sorry I trusted Whirlpool.

I purchased my washer about 1 month ago and I used daily. I went away for the weekend, and now it does not work. Washer will not wash, fill or spin, gives a LF error. All lines have been checked. I need to call service.

Whirlpool Model WDT920SADM0 Dishwasher. We built a new modular home so Abraham Builders ordered all my kitchen appliances in 2014. We did not move in and start using the appliances until June, 2016. Here is what happened during the first 6 months: 1) Would not dissolve dry soap or packets as there were still particles and plastic in the dispenser. 2) Dishes were not getting clean and were spotty. 3) Would not dry dishes, ever!!! 4) Parts would keep popping off as we would find them on the bottom or hanging down. 5) Final straw was this morning around 4 a.m. (12/4/16)... woke up to the smell of wire burning in the house and discovered it was coming from the dishwasher that we had put on delay wash that night and when we opened the door, smoke came out from inside!!Since it was past purchase warranty date, we had no warranty and the builder would not return any of my calls on any problems and the manufacturer of my house closed the factory. Needless to say, we now have to spend another $900+ for another dishwasher! Not happy at all about this Whirlpool model and would not recommend it.

My washer is at least 15 years old. When we bought it we had two school aged children at home. My husband and I now have an empty-nest and we have not had any service calls or break downs since we purchased this machine. It still cleans our laundry very well and we are getting our moneys worth from this washer.

I purchased a top load Whirlpool Washer and Dryer in April 2021. When it was installed I commented about how noisy it was. I was told it was because it was empty, but it will be much quieter once you put in a load of laundry. That did not make any difference. I called Whirlpool customer service and explained I had just purchased it less than a week ago and it appeared to be very noisy. I was told they could send someone out, but if they determined there was not a problem I would be charged a service call. I said the machine is not even a week old why would I be charged a service call shouldnt this be a warranty issue. Again I was told there would be a service call charge.I am completely baffled at the customer service response. This is the first and only time I called. I contacted the store where I purchased both the washer and dryer and was told it should not be that loud, this is the first time anyone has complained about the noise level and there should not be charge. Whirlpool has terrible customer service and I will NEVER purchase another Whirlpool product again because of the customer service. I have purchased numerous appliances in my lifetime and have never been treated so poorly. If I could return both the washer and dryer I would not hesitate. I would not recommend Whirlpool to anyone.

Sr No. CNF103400315, when we bought this item, we asked for the start up kit, but at that time they said that in grill microwave we dont provide start up kit but after a month when I again raise for start up kit, that time they give but in start up kit some item is missing and the sealed is open. I purchased a Whirlpool Cabrio on October 27th, 2010. The Cabrio is always giving me the UL code, which indicates the load isnt in balance. Ive been doing laundry for 27 years. I know how to load dirty clothes into a washing machine evenly. Sometimes it will take me all day to do one load of laundry! Seven months after my purchase, my Whirlpool Cabrio washing machine started giving me the F51 error code. I called the phone number on my Lowes receipt for warranty work. Two weeks later, I finally had my washing machine running again. I was happy and thought Id only have to deal with the UL code. Boy was I wrong?!Now Im two weeks away from my warranty expiring. Im getting the F51 error code again! This washing machine is an $800 piece of junk! Hopefully, I can get the Cabrio repaired before my warranty expires in two weeks. I do a lot of laundry. We are a family of six. So, I know Im hard on washing machines but come on. Shouldnt an $800 washing machine last at least two years? Im not even a full year into owning this junky washer and Ive had two breakdowns! In my opinion, this washing machine needs to be recalled and people need a reliable replacement or refund.

Bought a Maytag Bravo XL Top-Loading Washer Model MVWB880BWO. It was installed on Jan 22, 2014. In December, the spin cycle became very loud. I contacted Whirlpool on Dec. 2. They said a local technician would be out on Dec 5. They make up this date. I called the local technician. They came out on Dec 16. I was informed that if there was nothing wrong with the washer, I would have to pay for the service call. The tech. found there was a bearing problem. He said they would contact Whirlpool about the warranty repair. Had not heard from the repair shop. Today is Jan 5. I called the local repair shop. They said they were waiting to hear from Whirlpool. I called Whirlpool. (Thats another nightmare). They said they were waiting to hear from the tech. The man at the repair shop said he has been trying to get a hold of the rep for our area in Eureka, CA. Apparently he doesnt return emails when he is in training and apparently he is in training most of the time. It is totally unacceptable to have to wait for over a month to have a washer repaired. Not sure what a consumers recourse is for getting something that is under warranty repaired in a timely manner. Maytag used to be a good product. Since Whirlpool produces the Maytag, the quality just is not there. Very poor service. I would not recommend buying Whirlpool. You will not be happy with their product or their service.

Wish there was a no stars. This is the second refrigerator in 3 yrs or less. Had first one for less than 8 months before it stopped working. Needed to be replaced and now second one made it a little over a year and now just stopped working. Washers were also garbage and I’ve been slowly buying all new appliances with other brands. I’ll never buy a single Whirlpool product ever again.

I have had to replace soap dispenser three times and it is broken again. I also have to use the best soap or my dishes are dirty. It is three years old and is now leaking. I would never buy this brand again.

Four years ago, we remodeled our kitchen and purchased the Whirlpool Quiet Partner II dishwasher, with a one-year service warranty. To be fair, we have not had a problem with the operation of the dishwasher, but rather, the quality of the dishwasher. Within the first two years, the front panel of the dishwasher started turning brown and rusting through from the steam escaping the dishwasher. The labels on the operating buttons have peeled off, again, from the heat of the dishwasher. The upright spokes on bottom tray, that hold dishes and etc. in place, started rusting through and breaking off. Guides which allow top drawer to slide in and out and hold drawer in place, have weakened, so drawer is constantly dropping or sagging.I have had other dishwashers that have certainly lasted more than four years but was encouraged by a Home Depot salesman that this was a great machine for the price! I should have paid closer attention to that for the price part. In any event, I called Whirlpools customer service department, believing that in this day and age, SOMETHING could be done to help with these issues and was told, quite succinctly, that there was nothing Whirlpool could do. I asked about standing by the integrity of their product and got no response to that either.I am an associate with American Girl, a company that stands by the quality of its product FOR LIFE. To be told by a customer service rep from a much larger company, that there was nothing they could do to help me, completely blew me away. I have taken pictures that are pretty indicative of the quality of this dishwasher and will be going online to warn other consumers against purchasing Whirlpool products.

Aqua clean does not work. I purchased this range this year not knowing aqua clean was different than a standard self cleaning. I had not use the range since its delivery in June until Thanksgiving. One meal in the oven and the turkey had created staining on the sides and the bottom. I have run the self clean cycle so far four times and scrubbed till I’m blue in the face. The greasy stuff does not lift off and the warranty voids if you use anything else. Have already contacted the dealer to see if I can return this!

My Whirlpool oven (Model WFG505M0BS0) stopped working - the bottom oven part (the top burners were OK), the display on top functioned normally, but no fire came on. I called Whirlpool, and then I accessed Whirlpool online and scheduled service with their official service representative - Flamingo Appliance Service ** for September 9, 2020. When the repairman arrived on 09-09-2020, he opened up the stove and checked it, and he told me that a computer part needs to be replaced, as well as the igniter, and the cost would be between $400.00 and $600.00 (I dont remember the exact amount), I told SEVERAL times, maybe its just the igniter (for which the cost would less than $100.00 AND already included in the $134.95), but he insisted that the computer needed to be replaced, I did not like the way he explained it to me, it did not make sense.After that I was planning to buy a new stove, as the repair was too high. But, I decided to try to change the igniter myself before getting rid of the stove (the igniter cost was $21.00). I just got the igniter recently, and installed it, with help from YouTube, and what do you? THE STOVE IS WORKING!!! This is fraud!!! FLAMINGO APPLIANCE SERVICE ARE THIEVES, AND BY ASSOCIATION, WHIRLPOOL, WHOM THEY REPRESENT ARE THIEVES ALSO. I shall publicize to the best of my abilities: NOT TO BUY WHIRLPOOL PRODUCTS!!! This was not a mistake!!! This is the way they rip people off!! Either by paying exorbitant amounts for unnecessary repairs, or by buying new appliances when the old ones are still good. Dont buy Whirlpool!!! Dont use Flamingo Appliance Service. Theyre both fraudsters.

My Whirlpool Cabrio washing machine. f1 keeps showing up on washer on. Shuts off again and again.

Less than 1 year ago, I bought a washer and dryer. From the beginning, we have had a water problem and the water only comes cold... no warm water in the normal cycle. They came 6 times to service the machine and they cannot fix it. They said there is nothing is wrong with the machine but it does not wash with warm water in the normal wash cycle. I advise not to buy this product anymore. It is under a warranty so they should fix it or replace it. I am sick and tired of talking to them. They said if we send the service guy then I have to pay for it which is not acceptable because it is under a warranty. If anyone is thinking about buying this product, I advise not to get it and waste money on it.

Electric hot water heater model E40H6-45-100 - Purchased at Lowes. Husband installed, tank filled, no hot water coming through house lines. Called support center several times after trying each recommendation that did not work. They kept saying it was a plumbing problem. My husband is very smart when it comes to electrical and plumbing. He has done numerous repairs to our homes over the last 30 years we have been married. He knows what he is talking about and told the support tech that he believed it was a faulty water heater. She immediately said the units are all tested before they leave the factory. The final step was to remove the nipple that the hot water flows through out of the tank and remove the two black bellows. Now my husband can see directly through the piece but also decides to put his finger through the the open whole on the top of the tank and cannot get his finger through - it is blocked. He gets a flashlight and a screw driver. Puts the screw driver through a thin plate that was blocking where the water should be coming through. He can now actually see the water in the tank. This was the whole problem! So they could not have tested this tank. They did give us a ref number to take parts back to store to replace parts we already bought and cannot use. Its the time and energy on whats suppose to be an easy job that counts. Will not recommend Whirlpool products to anyone and probably will not purchase any in the future. Ours was not as bad as most of the other reviews I read but wanted to advise others who may think about what brand to purchase.

I purchased 3 appliances (microwave, stove, and dishwasher) on 10/22/10 when they were on sale at Sears for my soon to be remodeled kitchen. I did not have them delivered until 11/15/10 until contractor was getting ready for them. They still were not installed immediately. On 11/17/11, in the evening, the microwave stopped working. I called Whirlpool on 11/18/11 for service. Whirlpool will not honor the 1-year warranty since technically I bought them in October 2010 but did not even have them installed in my home for use until the end of November or beginning of December 2010. Common sense tells me the company should honor the warranty. Are products being made today to last less than a year before they go bad? To pay for a service call and parts, I can buy a new microwave (but you can bet it wont be Whirlpool).

Where to begin? I bought Whirlpool Duet Front-Load Washing Machine about 11 months ago after my top load bearing went bad and start making a lot of noise after 8-9 years. 4 months ago (6 months from purchase) it started to act strange; washing machine will not unlock after a cycle, start throwing F3E1 error. Thats when I first called their support service. Their service technicians are very nice actually. They seem to be local small appliance shop, contacted out by Whirlpool, from my guess. Initial visit was to inform me that Im using WAY too much soap, while I was only using well below what was recommended by Whirlpool manual. RED FLAG #1. Technicians told me to stop using too much soap or start using POD. Also to flush my washing machine with 2 cups of white vinegar in hot cycle every few weeks. Ive changed my soap to Tide POD and starting flushing my washing machine immediately after he left my house. It was running OK, but I still saw F3E1 error at the end of every other cycle, until... thing went really bad one day, it simply stopped responding any command while clothes was still in the washing machine. I unplugged power cable and plug it back, it hums for 10 mins and in the end it was the same result. After several attempt, it finally unlocked itself, thus I could wash my clothes at my parents house. This is when I called support service 2nd time. The same technician came and this time, I had video recording of everything. He could not dismiss this with simple soap theory, so he opens up the washing machine and tells me that its due to bad control board. He proceeds to order new control board, which took a few weeks. New technician comes back with new control board and installs, runs a few test command (not full cycle) and leaves. During this whole time, Im left with no washing machine at home. Good thing I travel sometimes and laundry is done remotely sometimes. This repair didnt improve the situation much. I called them back for another appointment. Another technician comes back and tells me that Whirlpool sent back BAD control board. Now, Im really suspecting their product is really piece of **. At least at this point, I was still happy with their service. He leaves my house claiming that they will order new control board and re-install.A few days later, I receive a call from a lady, claiming that Whirlpool has instructed them to ask me to use different outlet, since they believe my outlet is causing issues. Now Im really pissed. Coming from electrical engineering background, I know theres always any chance, but they should double check this with their own technicians. Anyways, I perform their recommendation, which I knew was a shot in the dark. During this whole ordeal, Im working on a project that are out of state (CA). Not only do I have time to stay home for all these service visits, but Im not even home to test my washing machine. During one of the holiday, I was able to take a few days off. This is when I decided to take different approach. I went to the retailer, whom I purchased my washing machine from. They were also nice, but theres so much they can do.I called Whirlpool direct line to explain my situation, how unhappy I was, and to replace my washing machine. Their response was by the book: We can only execute our warranty policy and replacement is not part of warranty. The representative specialist had enough nerve to ask me why I have not called back in several weeks and continue to repeat it as if its my problem for not reporting back. I had spent 2 months of supports and 4 site visits, where I had to reschedule my work or take a day off, before travelling for projects after holiday seasons. This representative really took customer service to next level of hell. In the end Im without properly functioning washing machine for 4 months. I have to coordinate with my parents to use their washing machine when Im back home. My advice, you should really think 3 times before buying Whirlpool washing machine or any other appliance. Also consider that youre on your own, when their product malfunctions, and youll be sitting on dead appliances.

I am so disappointed with this washer. I totally dread doing laundry. The following are the complaints: Every load comes out totally twisted and wrinkled!! The soap/fabric dispenser holds water after each load (I have to take paper towels and get the dispenser empty!!!). There is not enough water to properly clean the clothes. I have never noticed a reduction in my water bill and have had this piece of junk since 4-25-13. There is NO short cycle on this junk machine. There is an odor to my towels - like they are musty - after I dry them and use them. I use Tide HE detergent and clean the washer with Affresh (you shouldnt have to clean a washer). I should have taken the time to write a review much sooner, but decided today was the day after doing laundry. DO NOT BUY THIS WASHER.

Whirlpool Gold Series French door, bottom freezer. - This fridge is beautiful. Thats as far as the pros go for it. The Freon is leaking and cant be repaired because of where the leak is coming from. I can always tell when its time for a recharge because it leaks water profusely when at a low charge (every 4 to 6 weeks). We paid over $1800 for this fridge back in 2013. It has been just over two years and we are now having to replace this fridge. I cant express my frustration at this point. Whirlpool wont do anything to help us. They told me, You are out of warranty, and thats all they have to say. Thats over a thousand dollars a year to own this POS when you consider taxes. Over $1250 a year when you consider the service calls along with it. I will not purchase another Whirlpool product ever again. I am disgusted by this company and their refusal to stand behind their product. They have literally stole money from me and are laughing about it. Do yourself a favor and stay far from Whirlpool.

A factory authorized technician came out this morning and repaired the washing machine. The bolt had come off of the pulley, which then fell off and burned through the guard, and then burned into the insulating on the bottom. The technician said this happens frequently. All that needs to happen is to have a Loctite bolt holding the pulley rather than a plain bolt which comes loose with the vibration. All Whirlpool had to do was spend a couple cents more for the proper part which would avoid potential fire! I should not have needed to have had my home put at risk, needed this service call or pay all that extra money because of their poor workmanship and design failure. This should be a recall item, and all costs incurred by the consumer should be covered by Whirlpool.

July 2017 I purchased a Whirlpool refrigerator Model # WRF757SDEM00 S/NK51709722. The refrigerator portion went out, the repairman said it was the fan therefore I spent 351.00 dollars for house call and fan. When that did not work the repairman spoke to whirlpool and they said the panel of small computer may go out with it 212.00 plus tax. Did not allow that and tried another repairman who said the value that switches from freezer to refrigerator was out and if I could find someone to fix it would cost between 600 and 800. I went out and bought a Samsung because on the front said 10 year warranty. At least anything is better than 1 year whirlpool offers. There is NOTHING in the name.

I have posted on here in the past about the problems with the Cabrio Washer from Whirlpool. Our third top load lid was just ordered since 2011. There is a design flaw where the plastic frame around the lid cracks and causes the lid to hump up. While shopping at a local appliance store recently, I saw a new Cabrio washer and the lid and hinge system has be re-designed. I wonder why?????

Bought a Whirlpool fridge in a package from Home Depot three years ago. The fridge has already stopped working. It started having issues about 1 1/2 years in to owning the fridge and finally died 2 weeks ago.

Washing clothes is a nightmare. I am constantly removing clothing from the washing machine that have been torn and left with holes. I am utterly frustrated. Because the machine is more than three years old, there has been no solution to my problem. I have now replaced clothing items in excess of $2,000. I am always here that they will send a repairman and yet there is still the problem. This machine is costing me too much money. The newer machines have fixed the problem. There is no gap between the drum and the doorway or rubber piece. I want that piece to stop this nightmare. This machine has taken a dream of mine and demolished the experience. I hate washing clothes but more so having a machine at home and then going to the laundromat to stop the chaos with doing laundry at home.

Ive had this microwave for about a year and a half. Like some others I get the door sign frequently. I open the door and cant turn it on until the light goes on, which can take a minute to two. I have NEVER had problems with any microwave other than this one. I had a problem with the Whirlpool refrigerator too, which was fortunately still under warranty. I bought the fridge, oven and microwave as a deal. Trust me, there is no deal here. I will never buy this brand again. Lesson learned. Given other reviews, I might just buy another brand of microwave. Worth not having the hassle.

Subject was included in our new condo less than 5 years ago. It appears that all we have to do is look at it and it falls apart. There is constantly another piece of plastic on the counter. Our experience in calling Whirlpool for service is that it is very expensive and time consuming. A refrigerator installed at the same time as the purchase had a defective ice maker which took three service calls and a final installation of a broken part by me before we were together again. 2 (two) service men recommended that if we had problems again that we do what they did. Buy Ice Cube trays!!!! What a great recommendation.

We have all kitchen appliances from Whirlpool, but it is not what we choose, that was builders choice. We, two people, are living in his apartment for almost five years, and first problem was with oven - the window in the door it is leaking somewhere, then microwave - the all front door plastic is cracking (we using microwave maybe twice a week) and is it placed under the oven. Now we have problems with fridge - the plastic inside the fringe is cracking. We called Whirlpool customer support and Whirlpool do not even want to hear it about the problems - they just want that same authorized technician will came to your apartment to inspect these problems for $95, it is not even important whose fault it is. This company, Whirlpool really DO NOT CARE about the products, which they produce - as long it is sells... Now we know, we made smart decision - do not accept the washer and dryer (we get it from Bosh - it makes me happy). Now we just wait till all Whirlpools appliances will stop working and never ever look back to Whirlpool.

16 months after purchase, the machine starts displaying F71 codes, 6 weeks later F70. After calling Whirlpool customer service number on the User Manual, we were told that the washer was out of warranty and there was nothing that Whirlpool was going to do for us. I have a reasonable expectation that a brand new $800 washing machine will operate for many, many, trouble free years, but finding an electronic failure that has been estimated at $400 to repair, 16 months after purchase, is simply and obviously unacceptable. This is clearly a defect in design and/or manufacturing.

Whirlpool Slide-In AquaClean Technology - My beautiful, modern oven is no longer. After 4 tries doing self-cleaning my oven was still dirty. I did have to wipe out the water (although I measured it) before I could take the scraper/sponge provided by Whirlpool to assist in the cleaning. Scraper bent - sponge disintegrated and I still have a dirty oven. Called service. My pleasant service tech informed me the water is only to reach 250 degrees! Really! My dinosaur of a Whirlpool cleaned fabulously! New technology has turned mine into an on your knees, scraping and broiling fool. Fool because I bought into the whole Aqualift Technology. We cannot use any kind of liner, etc. This slide-in may look great but the labor required to keep it that way is beyond this OCD person! So much for my efficient new kitchen. May the engineers who designed this technology be ashamed of this product. It is not even a self-steam cleaner!

We had purchased a Whirlpool Duet Sport Washer and Dryer in 2007. Since that time we have had several repairs on the dryer, resulting in us having to purchase an entire new unit in 2011 (4 years old), along with mold that has accumulated in the washing machine on the tub and rubber seal that cannot be removed after several attempts utilizing several products that were recommended. The end result is our laundry that has been washed - comes out with a musty odor. Not happy at all with the top of the line, best possible machine to produce clean laundry as was sold to us! This has been a nightmare, and a totally dysfunctional appliance that should have lasted longer than 5 years!

We moved to a new house Nov. of 2012 and I went to Lowes to buy a new refrigerator. The last refrigerator we bought was a Maytag. It was a LEMON and probably had every part replaced because we had the warranty. At Lowes I thought the Whirlpool Refrigerator would be a good choice. We didnt purchase the warranty, big mistake. After only 4 YEARS, the refrigerator is DEAD, not in working order and would too expensive to fix says our reliable repair serviceman.

Best microwave for your money. It is very quiet and easy to use. This microwave is very sharp looking and comes with all the bells and whistles that you need. I like the potato setting. You put your potatoes in and it will ask you some stuff and you press the button.

I purchased my Cabrio washer and dryer 4 years ago, my dryer doesnt dry completely, I have to do 2 to 3 cycles to dry. My washer has an f51 code and I have problems unlocking the lid and it takes 2 to 3 hours to wash. This is ridiculous and it causing my electric bill to spike. Is there a recall on the Cabrio?

The shelves in freezer don’t lock into anything so if you don’t balance the food right on the shelf it will tip over. I had to replace the fan motor in freezer. The refrigerator is only 4 years old. The little tray under the water and ice outside of door if you shut the freezer door too quick water from tray goes everywhere. The water filter cost $50.00. If you have bad water you will need to change it twice a month.

I just bought a Whirlpool Duet Front Loader, and it vibrates excessively and wont fully rinse out all of the detergent. I have to take the tray out each time and rinse. Also, it has a musty smell.Whirlpool sent a repairman out to replace the shocks on a washer that is less than 2 months old. The repairman told me to use less detergent, but I am only using a teaspoon of powder detergent which is recommended and using Affresh once a month. There is nothing they can do about it till it is deemed unrepairable.

I bought the Whirlpool Duet front load washing machine. It was a piece of junk and I bought it 3 years ago. Sounds like a jet taking off during spin cycle and drain.Well, let me tell you, its terrible. It walks out of the space its in during spin all the time and the F Codes. Im done! Just replaced the pump and motor for the drain on the thing and unplugged it several times to reset it. Still is giving me F codes.Im done, I tell you! Done! This has been going on since we bought it!

We purchased our Whirlpool Cabrio platinum washer about 3 years ago. I am completely frustrated with it. When it is on spin cycle, it sounds like a freight train going through my house. During the rest of the washing... it squeaks. And right now this is the 5th attempt to wash the same load of laundry. Because it keeps getting unlevel and it will not continue after I move the clothes around to get it level. So I have to start all over. There is not a spin cycle option that is available by itself. Every time I have to choose the rinse/drain/spin option. Obviously it is not under warranty anymore! Only a one year warranty... really pathetic! And when we called they offered us a little discount to buy another one. No thank you!!! Wont ever buy Whirlpool again.

They have sent three specialists to look and assess the Whirlpool washer and dryer that I have. Both stated that the washer does not function correctly; the last repair man stated that he had seen many like this and they have a history of unreliability. I would like my money back, not a repair, as they do not even use just cold, but a mixture of both hot and cold. I had bought them specifically because I thought they only used cold, which was stated by Whirlpool. This is wrong advertising. I would like my money back. I still have the receipt and I am seriously unhappy with the washer and dryer, period.Since I cannot use the machine, which I had bought for $1600.00, the washer and dryer is now sitting in my basement. While whirlpool is saying that they wont take back the washer and dryer even thought it has a warranty. I had paid it in cash and I do not see why I should be forced to keep a broken washer and dryer set. I will contact my lawyer to consult this issue with Whirlpool.

Had some dishwasher liquid soap on some glass mugs. I washed three times and it still would not come off. RIDICULOUS. Will NEVER buy Whirlpool again. Quality has gone to you-know-where.

Purchased the Sears Oasis (made by Whirlpool) washer and dryer almost 4 years ago and I have worked on these machines more than the Maytag machine and dryer I used for over 22 years. Electronic and mechanical problems. One recurring problem is loose change working its way into the drain pump on the washer and it knocks a hole in the side of the housing. You later discover it when you go down to the basement and find about 50 gallons on water on the floor. Very poor design! Never happened the first time with the Maytag.

The washer was 5 months old and broke. Three service appointments and multiple phone calls, it still wasn’t fixed. Whirlpool sent rusty parts out to my home and that was the second excuse for not fixing the washer. The poor service guy must have been 70 years old. Hello, how do washer parts get rusty when they are not even used and are kept in a box?

Bought this refrigerator in 2018 and ice maker went out 2x, then compressor went out and waited 4 weeks for part. Now the refrigerator is broken again and not cooling. Dozens of other reviews indicate the same issue with this model. It’s clearly a defective model. Customer service in Tennessee are very friendly but my refrigerator is still not working. We bought a new stove from Lowes in 2015 which is a Whirlpool with an AquaLift self-cleaning function. This function is totally useless. We have tried it several times and it does not remove the grime from the oven. We did not even have a very dirty oven. It doesnt clean the sides at all and the bottom is still dirty. I complained to the store and they told me the AquaLift function should be used every time the oven has been used. They recommend that I use a spray for the oven (which is porcelain) and scrub off the dirt. Give me back my old self-cleaning oven with the high heat. This new technology doesnt work.

Front-loading does not do good job of rinsing. The Whirlpool Duet will not last longer than 2 years. Whirlpool recommends that owners purchase a new washer every 2 years. Whirlpool suggests owners purchase new clothes each week to avoid washing. Any owner would be required to quit their job in order to wash clothes. The Whirlpool Duet front-loader requires 12 hours per load. This means that only 2 loads can be washed in a 24-hour period. Each load requires 10 rinse cycles to remove suds.

My wife and I purchased a Cabrio washing machine and dryer, this is by far the worst washing machine we’ve ever owned. It hardly fills, even in deep water cycle. If you watch the clothes through the smoked glass lid with a flashlight, you can see they don’t even go underwater. The dryer seems to be fine but I would never recommend the washing machine to anybody looking to buy one.

I bought a Cabrio washer in 2009. I started receiving the infamous F51 code. When I called Whirlpool, they refused to even acknowledge that there is a problem with this washer. In 2007, I purchased two 30 gal. Whirlpool Flame Lock water heaters (Model: FG1F3030T3NOV) from Lowes for two different homes that I own. I started having trouble with one of them after about two months. I replaced the thermocouple several times, with each one working only about a month. After that, Lowes replaced the complete burner assembly and that, so far, fixed the problem.Now, the second one has (1 Oct 11) gone out. The local Lowes told me that they are out of the burner assembly for this water heater. I called them this evening and was told that they didnt know when they would have the part, but to call back about every other day to see if they had received the burner assembly for this water heater. They said that it could be from two days to two weeks before they may receive this part!In 2008, I also purchased a 40 gal. Whirlpool Flame Lock water heater (Model: BFG1F4034T3NOV) for my house and no problems so far. In 2007, I even recommended that a friend of mine purchase and install one of these in a home that he owned. He did. I helped him install it and it later had the same problems! I am now needing a water heater for my workshop. What can I buy thats dependable?

I have a Whirlpool Duet Steam Washer that will be two years old in September 2013. It has been making terrible, loud noises during the spin cycle for a few months now. Repair tech told me it was the bearings and very costly. It will cost me over half of the original cost to repair a less than two year old washer. This is my second Duet front loader from Whirlpool. The first one was a drum issue and the rod ended up snapping. Again, very costly so I bought a new one. I should have learned my lesson the first time. I do not agree with extended warranties and it is just an additional money maker for the manufacturer. They should be making the product so people do not have to purchase those. Anyway, back to the washer at hand. I refuse to spend that much on a newer washer and will never purchase a Whirlpool product again. I will let this thing bang for as long as it is going to last. Unfortunately have also just purchased the dryer that matches this washer since I still had the old model Duet Dryer, so kind of stuck with them. Spent an hour and a half yesterday on the phone talking to people at Whirlpool and they really dont care if you have an issue or not no matter how old your machine is. They just want you to have purchased the extended warranty or forget it. There should be a recall and they should be helping these customers who all seem to be having the same issue. Done with them!!

When I purchased my Cabrio washer 31/2 years ago I didnt bother to check reviews since Whirlpool was suppose to be the best of the best. An expensive lesson! A washer that spits out codes?!?! Whos got time for this? We paid 899.00 plus taxes for it, now we paid a repairman 99.00 to tell us its not worth fixing. He said the bearings were completely shot. As he was leaving he said his next service call was for the same type of washer! Whatever happened to appliances that last! Going green is all the rage but yet everything from cars to appliances is built to last only a short while. Judging by these reviews I cant believe Whirlpool didnt recall their garbage!

We been having the same issues as all of the people that have consumed the water heater. We have replaced the pilot more than 3 times and other parts of this water heater! Well, we are a family of 9 and the only way we can shower is by heating up water like everyone that has the same issue.So I would never recommend this (Whirlpool) water heater to anyone!

We too have nothing but problems with our supposedly top of the line convection/microwave oven. Purchased in 2010 in February for new kitchen. From start, original microwave installed did not work, would not cook or heat. Dealer replaced. One year later, same problem, but now out of warranty. Had to pay labor, costs, and parts to get fixed. Fast forward 13 months, again magnetron needs replaced, microwave will not work. What a hunk of junk for our money. I will never buy any Whirlpool appliances again, and I will tell everyone I know the same. When you call customer service, they are nice but only say “too bad, out of warranty”. What a joke for a major appliance company to tell customers. It is obvious that this microwave is faulty from the get go, and they just keep on making them the same way and not trying to fix the problem.

Whirlpool Refrigerator Model WRX9885IBM01 French Doors - We purchased this $2,000+ dollar refrigerator in December of 2014 and within two weeks of plugging it in, we noticed the freezer drawer was crooked and ice crystals in the freezer compartment. We contacted Whirlpool re the matter and they dispatched a local serviceman. He informed us that the inner lining of the refrigerator was crooked and he contacted Whirlpool. He sent pictures of the crooked drawers and was advised by Whirlpool to adjust the outside door, but nothing could be done for the inside crookedness and that he was to take silicone and seal the refrigerator to prevent air coming in to create the ice... Really? We told him that was merely a Band-Aid to the problems and we wanted a replacement. According to Whirlpool, they can only service our month old refrigerator and cannot replace it.Actually, they cannot even service the defective product they sell, they can only caulk the problem until it comes again. I am not going to stop until everybody in the country buying a refrigerator thinks first about the warranty Whirlpool offers. After reading defective parts, etc., I am amazed they are still in business! We are contacting Lowes to come pick it up! Let them deal with the garbage they are selling!

My husband and I purchased a Whirlpool French-door Refrigerator in Feb. 2014 from Best Buy. We did not purchase a warranty through them (BIG MISTAKE) because everything we heard about Whirlpool was positive, at least through friends and family. 1 year and 6 months later we have NO freezer and their warranty expires a year after purchase date! I called the company and they are no help at all! From all the comments I have read on here, there are few positive results! From now on I will be checking all reviews before I purchase a product again and WILL NEVER buy another whirlpool product again!

I bought a new washer thinking I was upgrading. Wrong!! Well the new so called technology they put into these machines is overrated. They took a good thing and instead of advancing they have took two step backwards in time. I wish I had kept the old washer I had. I think I would rather use an old time wringer washer my great grandmother used. They are probably faster by hand. This new Whirlpool grabs every string on my hoodies and twist my clothes so tight in knots. I cant even remove my clothes until I fight and get mad enough to write a review. We purchased the WRX988SIBM00, delivered 6-26-14. Immediately upon plugging it in, we noticed a seemingly loud hum to it. Thought maybe it would go away once the fridge cooled off, but the hum continues. SO sad because I love the features.

I stumbled across this site while browsing the Net, looking for a way to deal with the same situation I now know you all have been struggling with: Whirlpool Washing Machine! I wonder: Is NASA still accepting volunteers for their living on Mars experiment? Id rather beat my clothes on a rock than touch that POS Whirlpool that has me back on tranquilizers! Mine was purchased about 2 years ago when I was in bad health and my son was handling my affairs. I could tell - just by listening - there was something very wrong with it, from the first load my son attempted to wash. It would start and stop, restart, restop, ad infinitum and made a terrible racket. I told him nobody would intentionally make a machine like that--something had to be wrong with it but he assured me that he had checked both with the store that sold it and he also read the manual. He had a hard time accepting but we thought maybe this was because it was new and would settle down after some use; after all, the store (Best Buy) assured him the sound was normal for this particular machine. However, the weird sounds did NOT lessen nor stop, nor did the starts and stops. Little did we know, this was just the tip of the iceberg! We have encountered/suffered through every nasty performance detailed here: low water, wont spin, leaves clothes soaking wet, wont spin out excess water, lid locks (grrrrrr), it cant seem to switch from one procedure to the next; there is nothing washing the dirt out of the clothes--they just sit in the water and soak(?), then the water is released. Clothes come out with stains still on, so wet that the water must be wrung out of them! Very hard for me with arthritis all through my body! Ive tried countless times to reset machine to Drain & Spin. Ive even waited (yawn) for it to unlock so I can open and then readjust the heavy/wet laundry, trying to make it even all the way around so to avoid an unbalance. But nothing helps. It will start to spin. And then it stops. (wait, wait) Starts to spin again. Stops. (wait, wait) Starts again, does it a bit longer. (start to relax) Stops. Ive spent HOURS engaged in that kind of mindless, maddening frustration, just trying to wash one small-medium load. (I wash only for one person--myself, now.) My son, who got married and no longer lives with me, said the only way he could manage to struggle through it - and agrees it DOES take an inordinate amount of time--for just ONE load, he has to put the settings so that it washes in Deep Water even if small load. He sets Rinse, to 2 Rinses. He sets it to Soak even if the soil is light. Even then, it still makes noises, starts and stops, has to be adjusted several times during Drain & Spin. Last but not least, the noxious odor: OMG! I left one batch of laundry in the machine, with the lid open, as it was very late so figured Id dry them next morning. Some hours later when I went back to shake them out and put in clothes dryer, they smelled so awful, I had to wash them all over again! In fact, Ive had to follow my sons admonition to leave the lid up AT ALL TIMES unless actually washing in order to keep down the stink. I washed my last load with Baking Soda added to wash cycle in an attempt to lessen the odor and get laundry cleaner. Someone here wrote - in their review - that there should be a Class Action (Law) Suit filed against Whirlpool. I AGREE!!! And I want to opt IN on it. There are several law firms that advertise on t.v. that specialize in Class Actions. It would take some time and paperwork but will not cost us anything unless we win the case. Then the law firm gets a percentage. I am willing to work with one more others here who truly want to settle out this problem. I cant believe 2,000 (and thats only here), people are willing to eat hundreds, thousands of dollars of worthless, mind-gripping, rubble such as we have spent our hard-earned money. Other manufacturers recall their defective merchandise and/or replace it, or make arrangements with the retail stores who carry it to make amends, free repairs, whatever it takes to make dissatisfied, disenfranchised customers, whole. We paid for these demons from hell and we deserve to get an equivalent in merchandise (that works properly) or services. That is how it is done here in the U.S. For the life of me, I just cant comprehend why Whirlpool has been allowed to continue selling this junk--why no entity or person or lawsuit has stopped them! As I said, I am willing to work with a core group who is serious about filing a Class Action (Law) Suit against Whirlpool. It may be that the retail stores would be included as well; however, that is a matter best left to the discretion of whichever law firm we select to represent us. For those of you here who do NOT wish to be included, do not worry; you are not being pushed into anything. The way Class Actions work, you have the choice to opt IN (be included to receive your pro-rata share of what is collected). Or you are completely free to opt OUT. By opting out, that means you do not wish to be part of the Class Action and therefore, you will not be included nor will you receive any portion of the recompense collected via the Class Action. Just for your information, though: You are allowed, by law, to bring your OWN lawsuit against all or some of the same parties. The most common reason for opting out, is if you have suffered an extra large financial loss and prefer to file your own suit in order to collect ALL recompense; whereas, sometimes - in a Class Action - the individual plaintiffs may not recoup the total amount they feel they have lost. If you DO decide to opt out and go on your own, realize you will be fully responsible for lawyer fees (although you CAN add them into the balance you are seeking in your suit. Settlement of your claim may or may not include lawyers fees.) Good Luck to all. I really like my new 5 burner gas double oven gas range made by Whirlpool. Except for 1 minor flaw where the backsplash panel warped at the beginning and was promptly replaced by whirlpool I have had no problems with my range, love having 5 burners and a double oven. Plus the left front burner has a much bigger burner with higher btu which helps water come to a boil way faster than any other ranger I have ever had. That is a real nice feature and I really like having 2 ovens, When cooking on an average day for my small family there is no need to heat up the big oven and the little oven is just the perfect size to bake 1 or 2 dishes. And on holidays when I am cooking for more people or many more dishes I have the capacity to cook more items.

It has needed a new motor, new tub assembly, and about six other repairs. Now the heavy duty tub just thumps around and I get an uneven load message, even when running empty. It is the worst single machine I have ever purchased, with the possible exception of the Whirlpool matching dryer, which lasted about three years.

We built 8 years ago, with ALL new appliances...All Whirlpool Gold...been very unsatisfied with ALL appliances... Had to replace range and parts for refrigerator..And extendend warranties all nonusable..We live NM off a tarred county road by 1/4 mile...no one wants to even come and look. Not good.

I purchased my Cabrio washer in April 2011 from Lowes. Huge mistake. The washer has broken 4 times under normal family of 5 conditions. The last time was in March 2015 - the barring was stuck on the drum failed to allow it to spin. It was stuck to the point where the unit needed to be shop repaired. It took 2 weeks to remove and replace the fail part. I just called service again today for the same noise as last time. It kills me that I spent so much $ on a product from a well-known company only to have it fail so often.

Our 4 year old Cabrio top loading washer failed. Apparently there is an engineering design issue with the pump and tub assembly causing the machine to not complete its spin cycle. These items will typically fail between two to four years of operation. We paid $1,000 for what we thought was a high end machine from Whirlpool. After having a local repair company diagnose the issue, we were told by Whirlpool we must use their authorized service companies. After 6 weeks of waiting for service, parts and several trips to the laundromat, we had the repairs completed by Whirlpools authorized service provider. Within one week, our machine failed again, called Whirlpool and they said will not help us. DO NOT BUY WHIRLPOOL PRODUCTS!!!

My wife and I purchased a new Whirlpool gas range (Model#WEG745H0FS0) almost 2 years ago. Woke up one night to the smell of heat and the oven had come on! Thank God we were home. Very dangerous! Repair is going to be expensive! Havent used the oven portion in about 3 months now. And Thanksgiving is just around the corner! Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

We've had a of Whirlpool washer and dryer for well over 8 years now. The only thing we've had done to it during that time was to give it a "tune up". That was done by a friend and only took a half hour or so. I don't know exactly what he did to it but the "tune up" didn't require any parts. In fact, when my friend was finished with his version of a tune up, it was as if it were turbo-charged and our clothes came out cleaner than ever. The washer runs quietly, as far as washers go, and the capacity, washing options, etc. are perfect for a washer that gets a ton of usage.

I purchased a Whirlpool Cabrio washing machine in October of 2016. This has to be the worst purchase ever. I agree with most of all complaints I have read. I am using more water, electricity and time to get one load half clean. How can this be efficient? The only problem I dont have is the noise; very quiet as if it goes to sleep. Seems to me the company has misrepresented this machine in its claim of being high efficient, washing (cleaning) machine. I too say Do Not Buy this Machine!

I have always had Whirlpool Everything - not anymore!!!! I purchased a water saver washer that I am very unhappy with - it does not get the clothes clean. I have to put it on an extra rinse (water saver?) to get the soap out. I use the Tide for HE washers. I cannot wash a large load in it - directions say I can. Anything too heavy or bulky will not spin out well. Will bounce all over the place. From now on I will switch to another brand. They push so hard to buy a warranty because they know you will have trouble! Should have read the reviews!!

Ordered this two days after my son came home from college. He had to be out of his apartment July 31 2016 and brought 4 years worth of laundry with him. Monday my machine breaks, Tuesday I order this thing from Lowes Arrives at 2:30 on Thursday and as it is being installed I ask why the water fill is so slow. It is trickling out like a childs toy. Delivery man tells me the water is completely turned on. He hears this remark a lot from people who buy this model. I put in my first load of laundry, a small load of about 6 things that I am washing for my mother who is in a nursing home. They have that nursing home smell. I push pause as the machine is cleaning to unlock the lid and peek inside. Oh my God the clothes are sitting on top of each other not even covered in water. I then shut the lid and listen to the tiny slush of the machine agitating. At the end of the cycle they smell exactly the same. Dirty.I had read to use the deep fill so I rewash them on deep fill. Look inside halfway through and what do I see? Wet clothes piled on top of each other, still not floating in water. How are these clothes getting clean when they are in a wet pile on the bottom of the machine? I take them out. Still not clean. Not smelling quite as bad, but not smelling like soap. I then washed sheets, a blanket, and some clothing of my sons. Nothing smelled particularly dirty but NOTHING smelled like soap. The quilt was covered in hairs (my son and roommates had a dog) and soap residue. I had read this in reviews online also. I am wasting time since each load takes from 50 to 130 minutes (yes). I am wasting soap, oh but I am saving water - not really.Well Lowes has a 30 day return policy so I went down there and am expecting a GE machine with an agitator tomorrow, Saturday! Cant wait. The only one saving money are these manufacturers They no longer are spending cash on producing the agitator out of plastic, attaching it with nuts and bolts, or using gaskets between the parts. DO NOT BUY THIS PIECE OF JUNK, do not even look at it. I question all the HE machines at this point. You need to use HE soap cause you cant wash away suds in a machine with no water. What a con - the whole thing is.

Worst appliance of any kind that I have ever used. Has only on/off button, in effect. Wastes water. There is no option to change anything once cycle has begun. No soaking. Occasionally, the machine simply decides to stop and drain itself so that you can start all over again!! No idea how long cycle is. Nearly done? No idea. No matter what temp or how much detergent or how much water, the clothes are not clean. The lid locks and so there is no way to know whats going on. I suspect there is very little water during rinse cycle. All of the whirlpool appliances are similarly horrible. Washer is the WORST. Shame on you Made in America.

In the first year of my Whirlpool Washing Machine, the motor quit working entirely. Fortunately, the machine was under a 1-year warranty and the motor was replaced by a Whirlpool service technician. My big complaint with this washing machine is this: Even though you select hot water for the wash cycle, the machine has sensors in it that only allow the water to get lukewarm. If it senses the water getting too hot, it adds cold water to bring the wash temperature back down to 78 degrees F. Next time I will do my research and buy a machine that actually allows one to use hot water.

I bought this piece of junk Whirlpool Cabrio washer two years ago and it’s been nothing but junk. Just like everyone else, this thing has never gotten my clothes clean no matter what I do. Anything with a drawstring or straps gets ripped up or stretched out. It’s loud and shakes, even though it’s leveled. Now, to top it off, it’s leaking water from the basket seal. I called Whirlpool and they couldnt give a damn. Since it’s out of warranty, it’s my problem, even though she said they know this machine has a lot of problems. So now Im stuck either fixing this thing or buying a new washer. Every appliance in my house is a Whirlpool and Ive had nothing but problems with several of them. I thought when I bought the brand it was a good brand and they stood behind their stuff. Boy, was I wrong! I will never buy Whirlpool again! They should recall this washer!

My electric stove is only four years old. In December, 2021, the control panel broke. Digital read out - numbers can’t be read. Service said it is control panel - can’t be found anywhere. Oven has caught on fire twice. House full of smoke. Whirlpool stated my first mistake was not calling them first. I dont have warranty and couldn’t afford a service call so I have DTE protection plan. They sent about appliance repair at their cost. Man said it is control panel and NONE can be found. Whirlpool can’t send THEIR serviceman for another two weeks. I was told to keep circuit breaker on stove pulled. I am 76 and my husband is 84. We can’t go out to eat every night for two reasons: we are on a fixed income - finances will not allow. Plus we both have health issue so I have to cook/bake a certain way. It is going on three months. We can’t afford a new stove every four years. I want Whirlpool to work out some compensation for my stress, aggravation, loss of bakeware that burned in the oven. Took us two days to clean the oven mess, including the glass door - don’t know how it didn’t explode. We had to run downstairs- at 84, moving fast is not that easy, to pull circuit breaker. I could not make two birthday cakes that I had committed to. Can’t bake or make casseroles. We need help of some kind.

I bought a brand new Whirlpool washer and dryer set -Cabrio- $1700.00 in 2011. It is by far the worst washing machine I have ever purchased, and I am 60 years old!!! It is now three years old and has been repaired at least 4 times. Long story short... after hours & hours on the phone, along with many threats! (By the way I had to ask for a manager two times up the ladder for this to happen as they just kept repeating that it was out of warranty coverage). I also told them that I was going to have one of my company trucks deliver this machine to Sears lot, along with a paid person to inform every shopper of my plight with this washer and the lack of service from Sears and Whirlpool! Whirlpool finally agreed to pay for the parts but not the labor on this most current repair. (This time it is the transmission!! In the past it was the Hub, twice. The gear case twice and the belt a number of times). I am now going back to Sears to request (that might not be the correct word) Demand, that they take care of the service bill for this machine. In between repairs, I have dealt with ongoing cleaning quality problems. This machine does not get clothes clean. I always have to wash them twice. This machine is loud. This machine does not use enough water to even dissolve the soap. So much for energy saving measures when you have to wash twice and still see soap and crud in the tub. Worst, worst, ever washing machine in my life!! By the way, I have an 8 year old Maytag too that I have never had to repair. Moral of the story, buy Maytag, or at least do not buy a Cabrio!!!!

We purchased 3 Whirlpool Gold appliances, fridge, range and over-the-range microwave in 4/2011. Since that time, the fridge needed repair, the microwave door had to be replaced and the range had to be repaired. Now the heating element on the microwave went and Whirlpool will not fix the problem. We purchased the extended warranty through Whirlpool and they are saying it is not worth fixing. We paid $470.00 plus tax and install and now all they are giving us is $348.00. Since we have had repeated problems with these appliances, why not just fix the problem or replace the microwave??? What Whirlpool customer service told me was that would be options for us if we did not purchase their extended warranty. Tell me, is that fair? The cost to repair the microwave was $388.00 and they are giving us $348.00 - do you not think for the $40.00 difference, it would be worth to spend it to keep us happy. We will never purchase another Whirlpool product again and will tell everyone we know not to buy their products.

Just bought the Whirlpool 3.5 cu ft, Top Load HE washer (model WTW4815EW), but of course, the sales person did not explain that HE meant LOW WATER USAGE. Wish I had done my homework. FIRST LOAD, clothes seem to be beaten to death, and must pour in detergent before you load clothes. So, Oxyclean detergent I always used in my regular (NOT HE) washer put a hole in one towel and discolored (faded out) the others. Also seems that the fast and hard agitator would not (logically) last very long. It seems to be working very hard. Im SO disappointed. Called Whirlpool to say I dont like it. They said to call Home Depot and see what they will do about an exchange. When I did, my sales person said that almost all the washers he sells are HE. I want the old type washer back that allows me to add more water if I want, change the cycle and water levels at my discretion, add detergent when I want to, and soak clothes if I wish.

My house was built in 2004, therefore the Whirlpool water heater was installed in June 2004. The water heater broke down (It flooded my garage) in 2007. I didnt have to pay for the water heater at Lowes (It was under Warranty), but I had to pay for the delivery and labor. Now, I had to call customer service, because the Whirlpool water heater installed in 2007 has problems too. The pilot light would not stay lit. I have to pay a certified technician $180, just to come to my house to fix this problem, when this is a recurring problem, with this Whirlpool water heater that was purchased at Lowes. (The heater has a six-year warranty. Not sure what this means if the product is defective to begin with). Im very disappointed with this product. It has too many problems, and I have to pay for a defective product. I would stay away from Whirlpool if I could.

I have had too many problems with the thermocouple beginning about two years after I purchased the water heater in 2003. Whirlpool keeps replacing the thermocouple, but I have to pay for the plumber to come out and repair the unit. This runs me about $180 each time. The thermocouple has burned out three times since September of this year. The plumber didnt charge me anything the second time it went out. But it went out for the 3rd time today and he recommended that I replace the unit. Of course, it is out of warranty and Whirlpool was happy to tell me that I could purchase a new thermocouple at my own expense from them. I have paid for this water heater three times over with repairs. Whirlpool knows that there is a defect with the design of the water heater. There is no way that a regular consumer can get inside the water heater to clean it. I will never purchase any Whirlpool products ever! I advise anyone reading this to follow suit.

I purchased a Whirlpool refrigerator in Aug. 2012. On Mar. 4th, 2013, the repairman said the compressor was no good. They will not give us a new refrigerator but will put a new compressor in. What a bunch of crap. I will never buy Whirlpool again. I have had two GEs and never had this happen.

I purchased the Whirlpool Cabrio washer and dryer about 5 years ago. I wanted to pay for a good pair to last a long time for the money. We have had a repair man out twice for the washer. They ended up replacing the computer board. It worked fine for a few years. Now, it keeps getting the unbalanced error code for almost every load of clothes that we start. Sometimes, it takes 20-30 minutes of rearranging the clothes to get it to finally work. I have had to manually set it to finish the loads on a number of occasions. It is so time consuming to do laundry due to having to play with the clothes to get the loads to finish. Plus, I dont know how many times it has woken up my grandkids because of the loud thumping noise it makes when it gets unbalanced. I have never had a washer do this. I would expect when you pay big bucks for an appliance that it should last a long long time. One usually gets what they pay for. I should have bought a cheaper pair. Then, they probably would have lasted 15 to 20 years.

My Whirlpool refrigerator is more than a year old but have been complaining forever it seems. The serial # is 21142009, model WRT777REYWOO. All bottom cords etc. is out and 3 times I had people come out to fix and it never changed. The lettuce drawers freeze and in the freezer leaves ice cream pretty soft. I am so upset about this, and cannot afford a different one, no matter what brand because I paid around $1,000 for it and I am low income (my ss), 73, and disabled. But Whirlpool refrigerators are not worth buying if this is the standard policy to ignore their responsibility here. It leaks water from freezer to meat compartment, and I could go on but seems hopeless. My sister in Oregon had the same one and they took hers out finally so she could apply that amount to a different brand which has no problems.

My complaint no. ** date 11/07/2014 till date 06/08/2014. Its noted solved by services department after 100 calls by me. They Reply no parts available from company so if you buy washing machine, be careful about Whirlpool washing machine.

We purchased Whirlpool sports model on 2/1/2011. We faced a problem with the motor in a month’s time. The service man told that there are fluctuations in the power so it went wrong. They replaced it after 15-20 days’ time. We also complained that it’s making noise and then he told that we should keep it on the stand. We did so, even then, it’s still noisy. Now about 3 weeks back, suddenly it stopped working during the wash. I never overloaded the washing machine. We complained to the dealer. The mechanic came and told that we had to replace some parts and he will get in a couple of days, but he never turned up. When we contacted the dealer, he said that the parts were unavailable and he will send them in a couple of days. I am fed up of that answer. We could have purchased IFB instead of this.

My stove is good, I have gone through 2 refrigerators in less than 8 years and the replacement is having issues. Service is a joke, customer service is questionable but trying to assist but at this point will not recommend whirlpool products.

We got a french door Whirlpool refrigerator about 15 months ago. Model Wrf757sdem01. There were problems from day one. Serviced about 6 times by 3 different companies... Died again less than 2 weeks ago. Finally the store decided to replace it. Was under an extended warranty. We have been without a fridge for over 10 days. It has caused multiple problems for us as we are out in the country. We have to haul ice to 4 coolers... Wait on the new one (a Whirlpool). Plumber had to be called in and he has had 3 of this same model replaced! Years ago you could trust Whirlpool. Now apparently not. I hope we do not have to regret our replacement one which still is not installed! By the way the water filters have to be replaced to the tune of 100.00 a year. We are not going to use an icemaker or get water from the new one.

I purchased Whirlpool electric hot water tank in May 2011 (model no. EEZ80HD055V). The water tank was working fine for four months. It does not work anymore. I tried to get a hold of Whirlpool customer service. But I couldn’t get a hold of customer service at 877-817-6750. It is motel business without hot water. We could not open the business. We tried the best we could, but there is no contact or support from Lowes or Whirlpool. We have no other choice other than replace the hot water tank. We tried to find the right phone number to explain the situation to Whirlpool customer service rep.

I had to purchase a new fridge quickly due to a power surge and this was the only one available with features I wanted. It is too small, but thats not the fridges fault. Has worked well and easy to clean. Simple white fridge that Id recommend. Not expensive and for the past year+ dependable.

Our double oven was part of our new home purchase so we really didnt have a choice in product. Brand new. Hardly used. The control board replaced because it went bad 2 weeks after install. After one use it had it replaced and it went bad again. Used it once and again same thing. My mom unaware of the issue used the self cleaner as a favor. Well things went really bad. Because the temperature of the self cleaner was too much for the oven and explode and the inside glass shattered. This is not a product that you would want in your home or would recommend for anyone to buy. They do not stand by their product either. Please do not risk your familys life.

I purchased my new washing machine in September 2011. When I removed the clothes from the washer after the first wash, I noticed that there was soap on several of the items. I ran them through another rinse and spin cycle, and there was still soap on several items. In an effort to avoid this problem, I no longer use the soap dispenser tray, and use the bulky cycle to get more water in the tub. Like most of the others, the clothes are tangled and stretched from one side of the tub to the other. Also, it takes 1 hour and 36 minutes to run a complete cycle. The manager of Sears tells me, that because of government regulations, that in a few years, you will not be able to buy any other type of washer. I purchased this machine, because it was highly recommended by Consumers Report magazine. I filed a complaint with them eight days ago, but have not had a response.

My Whirlpool refrigerator, model number ET8MHJKXM005, constantly leaks water into the bottom inside of the refrigerator. Its only 4 years old, for crying out loud! I have a repairman coming over in a few days who tells me the newer Whirlpool refrigerators are notorious for having the drain ice up. Why would Whirlpool design such garbage? They should all be recalled.

I bought a range on 2/11/11. On 2/14/12, I cleaned the oven for the first time at high temperature and noticed burned grease marks which appeared at the inside of the glass in front of the oven. I called for service and the repairman took apart the door and cleaned it. He said it would probably happen again. There was a leakage somewhere and he couldnt repair it. I think it is a quality control problem at the manufacturing levels.

I am following up on a review I submitted on April 22, 2015 about a Whirlpool refrigerator with french doors and bottom refrigerator. At the time, paint was falling off from the door as pictured in the previous review. This another chapter on this story and probably the closing chapter. A few months after the paint event which I could have lived for a while, the right door hinge literally disintegrated leaving the door without support. The door seals material is of such poor quality that they have disintegrated and the water condenses inside. The bottom photo shows hinge components that came off the door hinge on the kitchen floor. The second photo from the bottom up photo shows how the door scraped the plastic of the freezer door top trim if the door is not lifted to clear it. The second photo from top to bottom shows the door over the hinge pin if I am not careful lifting the door to clear the freezer door.The first photo from top to bottom shows how the door remains open if not lifted so that the door magnetic seal keeps it in place. It is very hard for me to believe that a country like the United States of America treats its customers with no respect. I met my obligation to pay the amount on the price tag of this appliance but I cannot say that Whirlpool did its part of providing a basic quality product. There is no consumer protection agency in this country to protect consumers from corporate predators that have no sense of a fair deal with a customer. So here we are, being abused by United Corporations of America. I hope the future brings a different understanding of the american people on these matters. Thank you for the opportunity to express myself on this matter. Next step... buy a foreign made appliance that will support another country work force... sounds familiar.

If you have the double oven below with bad board, start shopping for a new oven, but the part is no longer made. How can you end of the life a product after only 6 years? This is about the RBD305PDS12 double oven! I have wasted 3.5 days with Whirlpool/Maytag. Its very Frustrating how each department passes you along and makes promises about what the other department can do, resulting in zero satisfaction. None of them are well informed to say the least.I have a 6-year-old double oven that has a bad board and after 3 days, I find out it is no longer made. I paid $1500.00 six plus years ago and now I get to spend $2000 plus to get a new one. Again, how can you end of life a product after only 6 years?
