We've had Fisher & Paykel. We really had bad luck but we love the washer. We got the washer and dryer maybe 60 years ago and we actually had a lot of problems but we love the way that it's been so we chose to try it again so hopefully it will be better this time. I really like the other one better. This new one does a whole rinse and spin but it doesn't allow you to just spin. But I would say what I love the most about it is that the way it spins then still dry. It's a nice washer and dryer. But I do wish that you didn't have to do the whole rinse cycle for it to spin.

I absolutely HATE my Cabrio washer/dryer. I cannot get the mold smell out of my clothes. The clothes come out dirty and smelly. I have no idea what to do about it. It was a huge sacrifice to purchase these and a complete waste of my money. Whirlpool - please stand behind your products and take it back! Worst purchase I've made in years.

Had a warranty issue on my washer. Service man sent by warranty came out, fixed the issue. When he put the washer/dryer combo back in he crushed the vent hose. This went unnoticeable for some time as it is a vacation rental home. Now fryer stopped working due to a crushed vent and Frigidaire said it's my problem to go after their service man to repair what their guy damaged! Buy from anyone other than Frigidaire/Electrolux! Their manager even hung up on me when I told them their guy broke it!!!

We have had this fridge for less than 3 years, as early as 6 months from when we bought it the ice maker would stop working and the fan would get loud, after having a service tech out he said it was a common issue with these as they constantly do this, so I went on line and found numerous people with the french door and ice maker combo have the same issue--Seems like a design flaw, but Samsung doesnt seem to do anything about it. So usually once every 6-8 months I would have to dump the entire fridge/freezer (we keep an old fridge in the basement essentially to allow for this) and unplug the fridge and allow it to thaw out overnight, then I remove the back panel of the fridge (inside) and thaw the cooling unit out with a hair dryer, re-assemble it and we are good to go.The last year we seem to be needing to do this every 2-3 months, I had to do it tonight after 5 weeks--This is ridiculous. My wife said, "Wow you are getting really fast at taking this apart and thawing out the cooling unit"--While this was meant as a compliment, it's kind of crazy that I need to become "fast or good" at thawing out the fridge--The one in the basement that's 15 years old I never have to touch--The thing is we own a Kitchen cabinet business and we always have to recommend appliances to clients, guess what we DO NOT recommend to them, 1) samsung appliances in general (just replaces 4 year old samsung washer/dryer set) (2) fridges with ice makers. So please do your self a favour and do not buy this fridge. Samsung needs to stop making the RF25HMEDBSR OR ANY UNIT SIMILAR AS IT'S A PIECE OF JUNK.

I purchased washer/dryer combo from LG in February 2018. Upon delivery, I left plastic covering on to protect machine, as I have a habit of doing this. Two months later, I removed cover and noticed numerous scratches all over cover of dryer. Calls were made to Best Buy in Levittown, as well as LG directly, over a period of months. I was informed these are cosmetic issues and not covered under warranty. I just want to reiterate the machine was delivered in that condition and not because of my use of machine. As a result, I did not get a satisfactory solution to my problem. Please note I have never given a bad review on any matter. This time, LG deserves this review. This review goes out to Best Buy in Levittown, as well, as the manager I spoke with was very rude and no help at all. I hope this helps anyone looking to purchase appliances.

We had Maytag brand washer and dryers in the past. They worked for years and I was able to repair or replace switches and some parts on my own. The new Bravos XL is a very inferior machine, nothing but problems. The clothes have to be washed two or more times to make them clean. There is no agitator, so your clothes have only other clothes to scrub up against, and the spin cycle is just thumping and banging and thrashing around until you’re able to get in and rescue it from itself. Our older machines had tiny steel shot in the rim of the machine to keep it balanced. Don’t buy this machine ever!!!

Broken drip pan was cracked, replaced, and wood floor damaged, also replaced. Compressor replaced. Ice warmer replaced. Hinge on crisper door broken, replaced. Freezer door handle keeps falling off. All this in first year. Builder purchased 1 year Extended Warranty. Freezer ices up occasionally. Repairman advised using a hair dryer to free up the rails. All this on a $2,000.00 Whirlpool Refrigerator. Do yourself a favor and don't purchase this Refrigerator. Model #G16FDRXXY.

Maytag will not fix 2 major issues with new $700 Maytag dryer bought from Home Depot who takes no responsibility. They won't return it. Maytag won't replace defective dryer unless technician from totem appliances cannot fix problem. The tech ordered a control board and timer. Only installed the timer. He did not fix 2 issues. Dryer never stops at OFF. Dryer leaves damp spots on any clothing whether small or medium large load. Was told by Maytag if damp spots then it's OUR problem... our ventilation. No it is your sensor. Our model is ymedc465hwo serial m820. 07331. Bought in late Oct. 2018. Two supervisors later we are being sent to tech or tech company and played games with. All I know is Maytag sells defective dryers then won't replace them or fix main issue.

If I could give no stars I would. I own the Whirlpool Cabrio, which I bought only 2 years ago. I'm on my 3rd service call. They replaced my board after only 1 year of owning it and now 2years later it's the same error message (F6E2), the board again. Besides this problem the machine is horrible! Every load has to be done on the "deep water" mode or else your clothes will come out with dry areas. Forget about darks - they come out with lint and soap residue all over them. So for darks you have to use extra rinse cycle but still the clothes come out with lint all over them. Laundry has turned into a nightmare for me. And the clothes aren't clean. If I don't spray and scrub any stains, the clothes come out with the stain still on them. Dirty white socks come out dirty, even with bleachI don't use warm water on my clothes because it shrinks them and I don't put all of my clothes in the dryer because it shrinks them. So I am constantly using lint rolls, like crazy on all my darks. And even though the machine is very large I was told to never put a lot of laundry in it because nothing will get clean. So now I have to do more loads of wash. Doing laundry has turned into a job, a horrible job that takes hours. So now I have to use deep water, extra rinse and smaller loads so how is this energy efficient - it's NOT, it's the opposite of efficient. I am doing more wash and using more water. I use liquid HE detergent like they said. I clean my washer when it lights up to clean it. I don't know what else to do. I just called whirlpool about all of this and my second board being broke within 2 yrs and they don't stand by their products. I have to just keep getting it fixed through my extended warranty company. Thank goodness I bought an extended warranty.I would never ever buy anything whirlpool again! Don't buy this washer if it's still available, it is the worst. Even if cabrio isn't available (which I don't see on their site) I still wouldn't buy whirlpool. They should replace my machine with a different one at this point. Not that I want another whirlpool but at least I would have a machine that works. This machine completely stopped working after the error code so I have no machine for 4 days now. I waiting for my extended warranty to get back to me and then I have to make an appointment for the appliance company to come and fix it. This is crazy. All these days and I can't do laundry. This is not acceptable!

Top load stackable Washer dryer - Model number YWET 3300XQO. I had two floods with the same washer dryer unit. The first flood occurred in April 2012 and thousands of dollars were paid to repair the home that was damaged due to this flooding. The second flooding happened in October 2012 with the same machine at the same home. This time there were other Whirlpool owners that also suffered with the same issue with the same model Whirlpool machine. Whirlpool acknowledged that they will pay out to fix the damages and the deductibles but to date they are simply playing games on paying out. This is 15 months after the first flooding happened.
