I purchased the Cabrio washer/dryer in 2006. We have had it repaired 6 times and I even purchased a two year extended warranty after having issues with it the first year. Now I seem to be in the same boat. The washer will not spin and drain. This has already been looked at by a technician several months ago. I feel like this product is faulty and has not worked properly from the start. Are there lemon laws for appliances? It seems that this product would qualify. I will never purchase Whirlpool again.

18 months ago, we purchased a Whirlpool Duet Washer and Dryer. Having previously only purchased Whirlpool washers and dryers for over 40 years, we decided to continue because we had enjoyed positive experiences with all of our previous purchases over the years. Now, our washer has quit working properly, the door locks and wont open on the washer and the repairman arrived today with parts to replace based on the code messages popping up on the washer screen. However, now, hes not certain if the motor has burned out or if it is some other problem. We also purchased a French door frig from Whirlpool barely 13 months ago (bottom freezer) and recently had to have that repaired when one of the electronic boards went out and the freezer quit working and icing up.In both of these cases, the appliances started giving us problems just as soon as the warranties were up; what has happened to Whirlpool reliability and dependability of their products? We cant help but feel that our China-based parts are part of the change and will, in the future, not purchase any more Whirlpool products. We are grossly disappointed and feel cheated with these appliances.

Model #wfw70hebw Duet washer. Lasted 18 months, replaced one sensor and then find out computer board is toast. Seems this was an issue as I was told there is a CORE deposit on the old board so it can be repaired and resold. WTF? New board (repaired) is almost $300. That is a bunch of bull.

We have a Whirlpool Quiet Wash Plus dishwasher thats been doing a great job cleaning our dishes for just shy of 24 years. We use a cleaner every 2-3 months to keep everything cleaned out and sanitized. We use a liquid detergent and a rinse aid and the dishes come out clean every time. We feel like weve been blessed with this machine and would definitely buy Whirlpool again.

We bought this refrigerator because it was the only panel ready one we could find. When it was delivered the two doors did not line up. There was an adjustment that could be made but it required that Whirlpool had to do it. We made an appointment and was told it would cost $179 for the adjustment!! This for a refrigerator we had just purchased for several thousand dollars. The service person showed up and after working on the refrigerator he could not balance the doors. He blamed it on uneven floor, misaligned cabinets – anything he could say to shift the blame from Whirlpool. We called and complained again. They sent out another service person. He was just as useless as the first one. Told us to even out the doors we would need to shim the refrigerator which he would not do. Complained to Whirlpool with no results. Finally hired someone not affiliated with Whirlpool who was able to get the doors to be aligned. Never Never buy a Whirlpool/Kitchen Aid Appliance. They do not stand behind their products and do not care about their customers!!

I purchased a Whirlpool Cabrio just over a year ago. The washing machine does not clean clothes! While under warranty, a service tech came out to look at it. After hearing the problem, he replied that it was a common complaint and that he could not fix the machine because the problem was that it is so poorly made that it simply does not work. His recommendation was to come to terms with the loss of a thousand dollars as Whirlpool would not rectify the problem.Whirlpool really showed their true colors when they refused to cover the repair tech visit. Whirlpool supervisor Kitty explained to me that customer advice was not covered under warranty and that we would have to pay the bill. Highlights of her argument were that we should just rinse the clothes multiple times and they would eventually get clean. She also mentioned that if the machine really did not work as described, we should have complained sooner even though it was still under the one-year warranty. Whirlpool will sell you junk backed with horrible customer service. Beware!

For the second time in 18 months, I have had to replace the top shelves on my refrigerator (Model #ED5VHEXVB01) because the cheap plastic borders have broken. The first time it was covered by the 1 year warranty, but this time (12/11) Ill have to pay $130 just for one shelf. Unless the quality of the product has improved, Ill probably expect to have to replace them again within the year. Needless to say, Ill never buy Whirlpool products again. Im out $130 because Whirlpool will not replace them for free because the product is no longer under warranty.

I bought a Whirlpool top load washer. In less than a month it had to be serviced by their recommended service repair. It has never worked properly. It malfunctions almost everytime it is used and takes at least an hour to wash even a small load. At first I thought I may have acquired an odd lemon. After talking with several friends who had bought the same Whirlpool model I found we all had the same complaints. My old machine could wash a king size comforter in 36 minutes... that was energy efficient.

Its very noisy, and there are no blankets to purchase to deaden the noise. The dishes all need to be dried by hand. Some of the dishes come out dirty. I would never purchase another Whirlpool dishwasher.

Whirlpool refrigerator runs continuously, but doesnt cool. I have to turn it off manually to cool down the motor. I have to run it on the highest number (5), then freezes some things on the top shelf but lower shelves are warm. We need these refrigerators and freezers replaced with different brands of our choice!

We purchased this machine a couple of years ago... What a disappointment! Was recommended to me by the sales person and I trusted her. The machine does not get our clothes clean!!! We are a couple in our 60s so our clothes dont really get dirty most of the time, but they come out with marks on them all the time. My dish clothes and wash clothes are a disgrace! Im continually trying to soak them to try and get them to look clean. Ive been going to write this review for a long time, but today was the final straw. Washed a small load of towels and had to rewash several pieces! I would never recommend a Whirlpool product after this experience.

Bought Cabrio 3 years ago, started getting ul code and f1 code. We leveled machine, but cycle kept getting stuck mid-cycle. Called repair guy, they say it is going to cost between 6 to 800.00 to fix???? Really. Its three bloody years old. Very disappointed. Do I now get it fixed or break down and buy another washer. I would not buy Whirlpool again. Very pissed.UPDATED ON 02/05/2015: We called an appliance repair company and initially paid $440.00. After installing a motherboard computer system, it still did not work. We were then told that the other part would be another $120.00. We were already soaked for $440.00 so we decided to pay. After that was repaired the washing machine was still stalling mid cycle. We were then told that it has something to do with the wiring and it would cost another $120.00-$140.00. Needless to say, we declined. Complained to whirlpool that machine was three years old. We are pissed and $570.00 out of pocket. Just bought a lg front loader and paid for a 5 year warranty!!

WHIRLPOOL MICROWAVE HAS HAD MAGNETRON GO BAD 3 TIMES IN 1-1/2 YRS! I bought a Whirlpool Microwave Hood Combo Oct 2009. July 2010 the magnetron went in it! December 2010 the magnetron went in it AGAIN! This time we had to pay the labor to have it repaired because it was 2 months outside the warranty period. We did not want to pay because we knew having the same part go twice in one year that something is wrong with it. Whirlpool told us that if it happened a 3rd time that they would most likely replace the appliance for us. Well....July 2011 the magnetron went AGAIN for the 3rd time! Whirlpool told us to take it to a licensed shop to have it diagnosed to prove that it was the same part as the previous two times, fax paperwork from the prior two times, and have the shop call in the diagnosis of the 3rd time. We did all that, and they told us they wouldnt do ANYTHING for us because it was outside of the warranty period! Well they knew that when they told us we had an opportunity to get it replaced! THE SAME PART WENT BAD 3 TIMES IN A 1-1/2 YR PERIOD OF TIME. We trusted that the Whirlpool representatives were being honest with us during those phone conversations. Whirlpool can not explain why representatives would give us hope of a replacement (although each conversation is documented by their login and employee ID number). So not only did I buy a brand new MSRP $619 microwave, I paid to have it repaired the 2nd time, and to have it diagnosed the 3rd time, uninstalled and reinstalled the microwave each time, the inconvenience of not having use of the appliance during each occurance, and the unbearable suffering of calling in to customer service and repeating the story over and over to each representative. My house is brand new (we moved in to it November 2009); we bought ALL our appliances from Whirlpool. All I get for an answer now is sorry. That doesnt help me any financially having to repair and now replace an appliance that has been in use for only 1-1/2 yrs! I have seen $39 microwaves from WalMart last several years, so what is wrong with Whirlpools manufacturing?! Customer Service is unreliable, untrustworthy, non-sympathetic, and insanely frustrating! My question for Whirlpool is...why cant you make a product that lasts better (better quality=longer life=healthier environment and happier customers)? Why cant you stand behind your products better? Completely disgusted and angry with Whirlpool! We own a Cabrio and just after 1.5 years of owning it the stupid washer has broke down. It wont spin or rinse or wash! Pretty sure its the bearings as I have seen several peoples complaint about this same issue! I contacted Whirlpool to only be told that they only offer 1-year warranty and after that the consumer is out of luck. They only stand behind their products for 1 year and after that its on you! They refused to help me in any way including sending someone out to look at it! Im very upset and will never buy another product of theirs! They need a class action lawsuit brought against them!

Horrible. We purchased the set In October 2010. It worked great for a little over a year. (Go figure, just out of the manufacturers warranty.) The washer stopped spinning out water. Every other cycle completes successfully. The diagnostic cycle is also successful but once there is clothes in the machine, it wont spin. I called customer service and was told that a one year warranty was $230 and service is $130 plus parts. After reading another horror story, it seems that this venture is going to cost us around $450 for a new circuit board. Where is that class action suit at again?

This washing machine has not worked well from the time I bought it two years ago. It never fills to the amount of water required to clean clothes, it is always off balance, so I need to adjust the clothes at least five times per load. I end up wringing my load out by hand. The clothes come out smelly and not clean. After the cycle is done all the clothes smell like mildew. The other night while doing a load, it made such a loud noise in the motor and started to shake up and down, and then moved forward, like it was going to take off or explode. I tried to do another load, but after it filled and started to agitate, it started to make a loud grinding sound and there were 25 minutes left, then the timer showed 26 minutes left, like the computer in the machine is messed up. I had to empty the water out, wring out a load of clothes including towels, exhausting.The worst part is that the machine is finally paid off, I am a single mother on a disability and I am stuck with this piece of junk. I felt desperate so I looked up Cabrio washing machines to try to figure out what could be wrong, and then I find all these negative reviews, and these owners all have the same issues. Why has there not been a recall, or a class act, who can afford to replace a $700.00 washing machine every three years. I also purchased the Cabrio dryer which cost over $700.00. I do not trust that it will be any better in the long run.I cannot rate this machine as it has been a nightmare from the start. White socks seemed to come out with more dirt than when I put them in, and I am sick of using bleach all the time, the fumes make me feel ill. This is not acceptable, obviously this item is defective, and a prominent company such as Whirlpool should take the loss, not all the victims that paid too much in the first place trusting that Whirlpool was a reputable company, I will never give them my trust or business again. I hope to hear from you, and if there has been a recall or class act legal actions, please let me know as I want to be involved.

We bought a new washer and dryer back in August. We have always bought Whirlpool. Whirlpool (or the government) now is trying to save the planet by regulating the water level in your washer. The water levels are so low your fabric softener & soap leave lines on dark clothes. IT SUCKS! It does not clean like our old washer. Very dissatisfied and would love to return it and get a washer where you can regulate your own water level. Its unbelievable that a manufacturer can make decisions for the consumer like this AND sell this feature which you PAY MORE FOR. TAKE IT BACK! Ill never recommend this product to anyone.

When my dryer died my wife and I decided to get both a new washer & dryer. I kick myself for two reasons. My 15-year-old washer which worked fine I replaced, and I didnt check reviews before buying. What a mistake. The eco-friendly Whirlpool washer designed to save energy doesnt clean close, my towels are the worse. Coming out of a shower and using a freshly washed towel to dry off and it smelling like it had never been washed tears it for me. Im hoping like many others they will rebate or even better recall and pay back the money I spent on a worthless washing machine! So, if Whirlpool wont do the right thing, I will do my best to warn others to not buy this top loading piece of **.

Everything Whirlpool that I buy is junk these days! Whirlpool used to be one of the best brands, now, cheap China GARBAGE! My dishwasher will not fill enough to clean the dishes without setting it on pots and pans. Then it runs for hours and uses a ton of electricity! I tested the water fill cut off, after it fills it is not even close to lifting it and the switch works fine. I returned the Whirlpool dehumidifier I bought recently, it was junk as well!

I love my stove and all of its features. My stove is easy to clean and I Love the self cleaning oven. I have a flat top so that helps when it comes to cleaning, not to mention it makes cooking a breeze. I love all the push buttons and how smart my stove is. I highly recommend my Whirlpool to anyone looking for a great appliance.

I was pleased with the look and performance on my dishwasher. It did sometimes leave some food particles, but, overall it did a good job. I really dont remember the model since it has been a few years since I had it.

Our refrigerator had ice maker problems from the beginning. After 6-7 trips (with a warranty extension) they got it fixed. Then randomly the ice melted, made a puddle in fridge and on the floor, the freezer thawed. Then it would begin running after several days. Finally Whirlpool recommended we replace the computer brain for $1000 PLUS. The refrigerator is 4 years old. We are having a Bosch delivered today, even though the ice and freezer turned back on after being off for 3 days. Customer satisfaction stinks.

Bought a Whirlpool Cabrio. Noticed it was getting really loud less than a year into owning it. Called while it was under warranty. The tech said it was fine. Within the next year and a half it got so loud, you cant hear anything else in the house while it is running. Now it is leaking from the tub seals and the bearings are going out according to two service techs I have had come look at it. They say it is more expensive to fix than the washer is even worth. This is due to the parts that would be used to fix it are the same cheap Whirlpool parts that were put in it in the first place. They both said that these are not good washers and commonly go out about a year and half to three years old. Shame on Whirlpool for making such a low quality product and not being willing to do anything about it.

Bought Model# wtw4800xq4 washer @ Lowes 9/01/13. Started having problems within months at our beach cottage unrented, our use only, no more than 4 small loads a month. Replaced circuit board, still same problem - stuck in rinse, never drains, wont spin. Another company came out, replaced solenoid. Thank God we bought year extended warranty. Quit again. Have to wring out clothes by hand, rinse out soap in sink. Another company comes, replaces shifter, breaks again. I go to Lowes, demand new unit. They send another company out, broke next day 1 load later. Got new washer from them same model. Within months problems start again. Now broken again. After new shifter 3 months ago, songs like rocks in coffee can. PIECE OF JUNK. CALLING again for service after Christmas. Absolutely disgusted with Whirlpool and the whole lack of admission of design flaws. NEVER WHIRLPOOL, new mantra here.

We purchased all our appliances from Flecks - there were to be rebates. Also never received them. We have had our oven for 2 years - when I set the oven on 350 it will go up to 400 degrees & the temperature on the front of the stove is 350 then it will drop down to as low as 250 & the temperature will still say its still 350. I called the company - did will do nothing. Will cost me as much to fix it as to get a new one. This a Whirlpool oven.

The board manufacturer number W10312659 went out. They replaced the board. The oven was 6 months old, luckily was still under warranty. We didnt purchase a extended one because mostly it had a good name and brand. Well after a year and a half the board went out again. It gives error code H5P which there is no error H5P. So the boards out. It is very costly and thats with you doing your own service. Never will I buy another Whirlpool stove.

This washer is only a year old and out of warranty. At first I was getting white stains on dark clothes and now I am getting unremovable oil stains on all of my clothes. With the white stains I cut back on dry detergent and went to liquid. It did not help. On black stains I sorted clothes very carefully so that nothing dark or black was in with other color or white clothes, still the same stains. Brand new capri pants ruined with first washing. I have tried cleaning the machine with bleach as recommended, did not work. Whirlpool and Sears deny they have ever had a complaint. Yet there are hundreds of the same complaints on the internet. Is there anything that can be done.

After 2-1/2 years we started having trouble with the spin cycle on our Maytag washer. We live in an area with no repairman. Whirlpool want us to pay just to talk to us. Now the timings off. It will not spin out.

The machine meets our needs and just the right capacity. It has just the right number of selection for proper washing. Very easy to load clothes and remove from the washer. There were a number of colors to select.

Aqualift Self Cleaning - JUNK! JUNK! JUNK! The oven does NOT heat properly and it is NOT self-cleaning. Whirlpool should be ashamed of itself. We ALL need a refund. Class Action suit looming. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

I purchased a Whirlpool 40 gallon gas water heater from Lowes approximately 4 years ago. As of yesterday, the pilot will not light. I assume the t-couple is bad. But in the process of doing some research, I could not help but see that there is a quality problem with heaters manufactured around the time mine was. I dont have the model number with me at the moment. I would like to know what the permanent fix is for these heaters.

Worst appliance of any kind that I have ever used. Has only on/off button, in effect. Wastes water. There is no option to change anything once cycle has begun. No soaking. Occasionally, the machine simply decides to stop and drain itself so that you can start all over again!! No idea how long cycle is. Nearly done? No idea. No matter what temp or how much detergent or how much water, the clothes are not clean. The lid locks and so there is no way to know whats going on. I suspect there is very little water during rinse cycle. All of the whirlpool appliances are similarly horrible. Washer is the WORST. Shame on you Made in America.

The washer can not spin dry, as the unit will not balance. When it spins, it will get out of balance, and shuts off. I have had a repairman out, but he said he can not fix it, and that this is common with your units, He suggested we get a new one, but not from Whirlpool.

Our 3 1/2 year old dishwasher is falling apart. First the left slider broke on the top rack. We ordered a replacement part ($74) and when ready to install, discovered the right rack was also falling apart. At that same moment, the rollers fell off the bottom rack! It seems the plastic parts cannot tolerate the heat in this dishwasher (just a guess). We’ve returned the new replacement part and are shopping for a new dishwasher. It will not be anything from the Whirlpool line!

I can not find parts for 50-gallon Whirlpool hot water heater. The left hand thread thermocouple quit functioning so I have no hot water. I have called every plumbing concern in a 50-mile radius and everyone said that it was some kind of class action suit because you can not replace the part of the thermocouple and that they only make right-hand thread couple now.

I purchased this stove online and have been very happy with the features. I am able to use alternate settings based on the size of the Pan/pot. Cook timer, light, variable rack displays, etc. The only negative feedback is the need to add 5-10 minutes more to the temperature, based on the recommended cooking time of your recipe.

We purchased Whirlpool Oasis. The top loader washer and dryer 5 years ago from Sears. Both are scrap now. Paid high end money for these. Tub was changed on washer 2 years after purchased. Now looks like electrical control panel is gone. Oh well, Sears not really the problem because Whirlpool holds the monopoly on appliances. They are made to fail. Watch marketplace or W5 shows the tech men tell the story... You want to get screwed, buy a whirlpool. Hell I did.

Needed a washer right away and have had Whirlpool before. Simple & easy to use. Not confusing to the average person or teenager for that matter. Reliability from Whirlpool is excellent. I have had many products from them and have enjoyed them all. They have been quite reliable over the last 9 years. They are out of date but they work. Not a lot of bells and whistles but still nice. They are both full size and have enough options for me. I am still happy with the pair and would purchase again if needed in the future. Price was good at the time as I cannot see spending $1K on them. Not always the more expensive is a good idea either.

My Whirlpool Gold Star aqualift oven stopped working right at three years, when the warranty ended. I paid the $650 for repairs to the stovetop, hoping this was a one-time situation. Six months later, my oven has quit. This product is not a good investment. Im very disappointed.

I just purchased a new Whirlpool 6th Sense hot water tank #333570. This unit is a piece of garbage. Whirlpool should be ashamed at the quality of product they make. This unit came with a bent temperature and pressure relief valve, which required a piece of copper tubing to be bent awkwardly just to remedy the situation. Also, the control box is set at 12 (most other brands are 14, which is common), forcing the gas lines to be re-piped (very expensive). This unit also is extremely noisy, runs really, really hot and is not energy-efficient at all. Shame on me for not researching this product more closely. If youre buying a new hot water tank, steer clear of Whirlpool products.

I purchased a Whirlpool Cabrio washer (WTW6500WW1) on 9/11/09 for approximately $800. Now three years later, it needs a new rotor and stator costing $470 in parts and labor. I called Whirlpool and was told I could get no help with the cost of parts because of the age of the machine! A simple Google search of the F51 error code that I am getting will show you that these machines are $800 pieces of junk! I am not repairing this machine. I am going to run it until it dies and simply buy a new washer. You can bet your sweet self it will not be a Whirlpool! I can only hope to inform enough buyers about this to keep them from the same fate.

Updated on 02/13/2021: Company fails on customer service. My stove’s trim is rubbing off on my Whirlpool stove only 6 months old. No chemicals were ever used to clean the surface. This trim piece surrounds the controls and is not covered under warranty. An expensive cheaply made stove. Multiple attempts to have the piece replaced got nowhere. A letter sent to the head office was deferred back to customer service. Whirlpool has lost credibility and I will no longer buy their products.Original Review: So disappointed to find the paint finish coming off the trim on my 8 month old Whirlpool range. No harsh cleaning chemicals were used. Only mild dish soap and a microfiber towel. The trim, attached to the control panel on the front of the stove, is not actually stainless steel, but painted to look like stainless steel. Whirlpool warranty doesnt cover esthetics and refused to replace the trim, stating replacement would include the entire control panel and it is not covered under warranty. So be prepared to have your new expensive stove look old in a matter of months.

I am thoroughly disgusted with Whirlpool. How dare they sell the garbage that they put out? I didnt buy the extended warranty when I bought my Whirlpool washer and dryer. Why should I when I put out all the money that I did? I havent had the product three years and had to have a repairman out to fix. And then the parts are so expensive, and they are cheap Chinese junk. I dont understand how something with a name like Whirlpool can put out such a disappointing product. Never again will I purchase your product. And I certainly will spread the word. Greed comes to mind for me. I see you have contributed much money to campaign (Republican). Have you ever thought about what you do to yourself? How absolutely disgusting you are.

I have purchased a Whirlpool Water Heater on May 21, 2005 from Lowes Model number FG1F4040S3NOV, Product number 0730261, Serial number 05181291061. It is one of the Flame Lock heaters that was part of a class action law suit. The lawsuit has been settled however. I have had three thermocouples to date installed and each time the heater has gone out after three to four days. The technicians I have contacted at Whirlpool all have stated something else is wrong with the heater even knowing that this model has been seriously defective from the beginning. They always tell me to do this and that to repair it. I do not have hot water as of the date of this writing. The original problem began June 19, 2011.

We purchased a Whirlpool Cabrio washer and dryer set in 2013. In 11 months we have made at least 6 calls concerning the same issues machine leaving white residue on clothes. It has been one thing after another. Today the manager told me that my warranty only covered parts and not a replacement machine. I am washing my clothes two or three times to get them so we can wear them. First this is not saving water, energy, time and most of all CLOTHES. We are wearing our clothes out washing them. This is unacceptable. With this many complaints, the company has to know they have a machine with issues. I will never purchase Whirlpool again. I think we should all band together and file an action against Whirlpool. These machine cost too much money to be crappy.

Let me start out by saying that I had a Whirlpool washer that lasted me for over 25 years and done a great job of washing my heavily soiled clothes. One day it refused to run and I tried to get parts for it but it had become obsolete and no parts were to be found for it, so I had to buy a new washer. I chose whirlpool again and let me say that it was a huge mistake. This model is a low water, high efficiency, top loading machine. It has nubs in the bottom that agitate to clean the clothes. The first time that I used the machine, I found that I had made a mistake purchasing this machine. It does not clean the clothes and there is NOTHING efficient about this machine. I have to run the washer twice to clean my clothes and they are still not clean. It leaves soap in the clothes and does not rinse them clean of the soap. What it does very well is extract water from the clothes during the spin cycle. This washer really turns up the high RPM`s on spin cycle. It has ripped apart several of my shirts during spin cycle. Whirlpool really failed badly on this machine. I see clearly now that Whirlpool is not the company that they used to be back in the 1980`s. I still have the whirlpool dryer that I bought back in the 1980`s and it still works very well. To end this story, I loaded up this NEW WASHER in the back of my truck and took it to the scrap yard and I asked them to destroy it in front of my eyes. I wished that I had recorded the destruction of this piece of JUNK and posted it on YouTube for the world to see. I got over $450.00 of pleasure watching the crane operator completely destroy this pile of crap. GREAT JOB WHIRLPOOL … YOU HAVE LOST A CUSTOMER FOREVER. I WILL NEVER BUY ANY OF YOUR PRODUCTS FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE and will advise others not to buy Whirlpool products as well. Does not get your clothes clean. They come out of washer smelling due to lack of water. Darks have Detergent Residue on them. My t-shirts have holes in them. Bought this machine in 2010. Just purchased a Whirlpool top load with a Agitator and I am very pleased with the results. We never had any problems with Whirlpool products but this Cabrio should be taken off the market, faulty advertising. Talked to a Whirlpool rep and she told me to bunch up clothes and place around outside edges of machine for best results but did not see any difference. Do not buy this washer. You will be wasting your money and you will be buying a old traditional washer, with an Agitator is your best bet so you can control the amount of water you use. I hope this helps one that is thinking of buying the new technology top load Cabrio with HE.

We hate the matching Cabrio washer dryer bought in 2011: Dryer lower blower went out after 18 months in service. The day it went out whirlpool sent me the extended warranty offer. Warranty had expired 6 months prior. I renewed for 12 months and promptly called for a repair. Cost was approximately $450.00, all covered under the newly paid for warranty. I dodged a bullet there. Washer has the splintering fiberglass around the top. Lower bearing is out and sounds like a freight train coming out of the laundry room. Not going to have it repaired. Looking for new units not manufactured by whirlpool. Shameful ROI. No more whirlpool products in our house.

Because the lid was not thoroughly covered, painted and sealed, it began to rust within first year. When I contacted Whirlpool about this - they were not only rude, but will not support quality issues with their products. They basically said they did not care and even acted like a consumer should expect such things! Actually said because its subjected to high moisture levels. WRONG, I do NOT just expect rust. It only formed due to poor quality paint job and was not cured correctly. My Kenmore washer and dryer both, were 25 years old and had zero rust and still functioned when I replaced them with these Whirlpool. Its frustrating that there are no quality, American made products anymore.

Inconsistent freezer and frig temperatures, with vegetables and fruits freezing in the fridge, even when temperature is properly set. Freezer control knob and vents too easily blocked. Unit is very noisy.

We are so disappointed in the purchase of this machine! It doesnt put enough water in the machine to clean the clothes, and the spin cycle has continuously gotten louder and louder to the point I think its going to explode when it spins! I bought a whirlpool W 10632082A a yr ago. I read the reviews and thought it was a good product. I was wrong. It has never washed the dishes good. It has terrible screens that always get clogged. The dishes never get dry. I think the dishes would get cleaner throwing them in the yard and spraying them off with a hose. I would not recommend this product at all.

We bought 2 Whirlpool refrigerators for our new home 5 years ago. The first ice maker died 2 years ago at 3 years old. The second has now died this month. We called the repairman in who told us that Whirlpool knew there was a problem with their ice makers, but because they did not cause fires, they were not recalled. We paid $480 later for items that should last at least 10 years, not 3-5 years. We will never purchase another Whirlpool appliance and neither will any our family. A company with this level of ethical behavior that knows they have a faulty piece of equipment and just chooses to do nothing does not warrant my business.

I have a Cabrio washing machine and the circuit board has gone bad. I understand from Whirlpools customer service that if your machine was made before 2005, they are fixing the issue. Mine was made after 2006. Even though the problem is the same, Whirlpool will not correct the problem. I was told it was fixed in the new machines. The circuit board goes bad and you have to start and stop the machine at least three times before it will start your cycle, then it stops again at the 17 minute mark and you have to cancel and start the machine again for it to finish its cycle. The error is F1. Customer service acknowledged that this is a known problem for the Whirlpool machines built before 2005 but deny any claim that is is happening to the machines after 2005. Looking at all the other complaints, it is still a problem. I am disappointed in Whirlpool for their customer service attitude and for them not standing behind their product and fixing a known problem. I have always bought Whirlpool products but going forward will be switching to a better company. Shame on you Whirlpool. For a machine I spent $1000 on, the part is going to cost $300 to fix.

I got my water heater 3/13/12. Ive had to restart it now 4 times & have been totally out of hot water for two months! How can I get help from you or Lowes? This thing is supposed to work for 6 years & I havent been able to keep it going for 6 months! Help please! Can I get a different one? This one hates me! Being widowed & having a metal hip, it’s hard to get safely into the attic to restart it and not sure it will work longer than 2 or 3 weeks! The Gold Series Whirlpool dishwasher has some cool features for changing the configuration of the shelves, etc. After that its all downhill. Poor washing, worse drying. In the past 6 months Ive tried: less dishes, redistribute them differently every use, lower/raise upper shelf, use liquid detergent, powder packets, drying agent... nada. Absolutely NO remnant of food can be on the dishes. Of course I rinse everything well prior to loading washer; this one wants them CLEANED. I dont give a flying fig how loud a machine is as long as its doing its job. This one quietly does very little. AND the genius who designed that horrid cutlery basket needs a new job.The basket slides onto the inside of the door, making it difficult to reach into; it can sit on the outside of the lower tray but it falls off at the slightest disturbance. The baskets are narrow with hinged lids; the lids have small and medium slits so items are placed individually. If your cutlery is the right size! Ours is a little wide in the handle, they dont fit and must be placed into the opened, narrow baskets and butt up against each other. We are only 2 folks, I cook one meal a day and run the washer TWICE because bowls and pots take up the entire space, so I either wash the remainder by hand or keep the sink full of dirty pots and dishes. LOVELY. Bring back the old washer!!!

After careful research, I purchased a Whirlpool microwave 2 years ago. Model WMH2175XVT-2. It looks brand new. Three months after the extended warranty expired, my microwave wont heat anything. Ive tried all the suggested troubleshooting in the manual. When I called Whirlpool (the number right inside the microwave door) I get a recording that asks me if it has been more than a year since my purchase. I can only say yes because even the extended warranty with Sears had expired by three months. Then Im directed by the auto-operator to schedule a repair service. Im fuming and seeing dollar signs and no human to talk to, so I hung up. I googled my problem and was asked to pay $50 by an online repairman, so I clicked out of that window not wanting to sink more money into a bad purchase. Then I found a website from a consumer saying the Whirlpool Company admitted it was a bad magnetron with this model and that they have had a lot of problems. They should have recalled this microwave model or offered to repair or replace it for free. I have just decided that I will no longer purchase Whirlpool products. As soon as my oven and dishwasher die I think Im going back to Kenmore products.

I purchased a washing centre at Canadian Appliance Source. I paid to have it delivered, installed and for them to take away my old appliances. I had several issues and when I called the store, they sent me to Whirlpool warranty who dispatched a repair technician a few days later. With nothing solved to my satisfaction, I called Whirlpool again. I spoke to a customer service rep who gave these responses, she put me through to a manager who gave me the same responses. When I asked to speak with someone above her, she said she could put me through to another person at her level but noone at a higher level.I want to hear the same response again? Really? Her only other answer was to email the Whirlpool Executive, which will be my next step. This is a summary only of my experience of the first few days after the purchase.Problem: The first load I washed was 1 set of blue sheets with 2 pillow cases. The water didnt seem to cover the load but I thought when it started to wash, they would get wet. When I took the sheets out of the washer, there were several dry spots and some kind of residue on several areas, so not washed or cleaned as expected. I tried washing one sheet, same thing. Tech solution: Put in some wet items to the load so the washer thinks the load is heavier and will add more water, or add a bucket of water to the load, Really? Whirlpool response: The washer is working as expected. Really? Problem: I did a warm water wash, expecting the machine to dispense a mix of hot and cold AT THE SAME TIME making it warm water. The washer starts with cold water then stops and puts in hot water. I dont want cold water or hot water on this load I want warm as recommended by the manufacturer! Tech solution:Dont use warm water wash. Really? Whirlpool response: Works as expected. Really?Problem: Dryer is way too hot on the delicate cycle, not good for delicates! Tech solution: Use the air dry cycle. Really? Whirlpool response: Dryer is working as expected. Really?Problems I didnt even discuss: The load is really really wrinkled when it comes out of the washer. Who wants to have to go back to ironing everything they own? The washer tub and dryer are really really small! I should have read more reviews and headed the warnings! Comments: I purchased online, biggest mistake. The store will not take it back. Whirlpool will not take it back. Hindsight is 2020! If I could have given negative stars, I would have.

The shelves in freezer don’t lock into anything so if you don’t balance the food right on the shelf it will tip over. I had to replace the fan motor in freezer. The refrigerator is only 4 years old. The little tray under the water and ice outside of door if you shut the freezer door too quick water from tray goes everywhere. The water filter cost $50.00. If you have bad water you will need to change it twice a month.

We purchased the pair a year ago and its been nothing but headaches. First of all, half the clothes dont even get wet. They say its high efficiency but I dont think theres any efficiency when it doesnt even wash them. Second, when it actually does wash them, it leaves detergent all over the clothes. Imagine your black dress pants with white bleach like streaks all over them. We called because we were under warranty and a repair man came out. Totally useless. He said because its high efficiency, its supposed to do that. Not clean my clothes?? Why would I have purchased a WASHING machine that doesnt clean clothes?? Is there some other use for it Im unaware of?? He told us to try using deep water setting and extra rinse. So now we can wash 3 pair of socks at a time instead of one. Whirlpool Dishwasher is 5 years old. Used in a one-person household where dishes are washed approx.. every four days (rinsed before placing in d/washer.) Recently at completion of cycle, 2 of water remained on the bottom (still there.) Whirlpool told me it sounds like I need a new pump, the cost of which would be approx. $300 (tech visit and evaluation, parts and labor.) I understand appliances dont last forever but I expected more than five years.

Purchased a Whirlpool dishwasher less than 3 years ago. Absolutely horrible! The LEDs stopped working on the control panel within the second year. A few months after that the heating element stopped working. Replacing the element and thermostat did not help. The warranty only last for a year, and now I know why. Whirlpool does not stand behind their products and they were completely unwilling to help, and were quite rude honestly. I will never buy a Whirlpool product again!

18 months old, fridge was not cooling properly. Two service people came including the last one from Whirlpool, said the cooling system is bad and unserviceable. Called whirlpool and they were not helpful at all.

2020 Maytag washing machine purchased Sept. 19 2020, never worked from day one. Agitator does not work, makes noise like the machine is struggling to work. Does not rinse detergent out of clothes. Water level is minimal. Went to the dealer Dufresne in Swan River, MB. They sent out a repairman which I paid for, I was informed many customers were complaining that these machines are nothing but garbage. I went back to Dufresne and confronted the sales woman, laughed in my face and told me to leave the store, I was totally taken aback by her rudeness, phoned Whirlpool, spoke to a woman who was very ignorant, I asked to speak to a supervisor who told me thats the way the machines are designed because they are made, DO NOT BUY WHIRLPOOL APPLIANCES, NEVER NEVER.

We bought this dishwasher 3 years ago and have had nothing but trouble with it. Our friends bought one just like it the same day. It basically runs when it wants to. It has really been a pain. We also bought a refrigerator about the same time. The ice maker builds up frost and you cant get the ice to dispense. We are very disappointed in these products. Had a Hotpoint dishwasher that lasted 25 years and was still working when we replaced it with this one. Our Amana fridge was still working when we replaced it. Just needed new seals.

Just like a lot of other people, I bought a Whirlpool hot water tank because of the good name. And just like the other people, my tanks pilot light will not stay on, it will be on for a few days and then you get up and no hot water.

First, I was put on hold by the first female for 44 minutes, and then a second woman finally answered, and said she didnt know why she would send me to her, because she was in the sales department, and she put me on hold for another 25 minutes. I finally had to go, because I had an appointment. When I got home, I called back, and got a man by the name of John, and at least he recommended he could schedule a repairman. The problem I told him is, the inside wall of my refrigerator has 2 cracks on the side, and a crack on the back wall. I dont want a repairman to come, just to tell me he cant put 2 new walls inside of my refrigerator. I could not find an email, so I could email Whirlpool about this problem, and definitely, they were of no help. I bought the refrigerator at Lowes late 2003. I have never, in my life, seen the inside walls of a fridge do this. I spent a lot of money for this, for it to crack on the inside walls. It does not seem like something is right with this.

I purchased a Whirlpool range from Lowes for $750.00. After 13 months, the digital circuit board went out and cost $580.00 to repair. I thought this was odd since the range was fairly new. The service tech said the boards are a common problem. Two years later, when using the self-cleaning mode, the door was locked and the board was out again. So this must be the issue because that is the same problem that happened the first time. This must be a design flaw! The board cannot handle the heat generated in self-clean mode. Way to go Whirlpool, put the board near the oven door where it is subjected to extreme heat and melts!

I have the same lid closure issue expressed by many consumers and whirlpool refuses to acknowledge this as an issue, only recommends purchasing a new lid at $225. Lid design is flawed, metal L bracket connects to plastic housing/trim/side of lid, causing glass to pop out and stress cracks between screws. New models of same washer have redesigned lid, no cross reference part number or dimensions listed to determine if new lid will fit.

My wife and I purchased the Whirlpool French Door Bottom Mount Refrigerator in April 2013. Thank God we purchased the extended warranty. In June 2014 the ice maker quit working and delivering water. We have had the service contractor that WHIRLPOOL has qualified for all repairs. They have set up FIVE appointments to resolve the issue, all of which I had to leave work to meet because they do not provide any scheduled service outside the hours of 8am to 4pm. The first time they came the service man told me that WHIRLPOOL RECOGNIZES THERE IS A DESIGN FLAW BECAUSE THESE ARE NOTORIOUS FOR FREEZING UP AND NOT WORKING. I asked the repair man if there has been a recall because of this, he said no because WHIRLPOOL WILL JUST REPAIR THE ONES PEOPLE COMPLAIN ABOUT! I called Whirlpool headquarters today. The advisor said he will register my complaint. I asked, Is that it? What does that mean? He said, I cant tell you what happens after I register the complaint. I WILL NEVER PURCHASE ANOTHER WHIRLPOOL PRODUCT. I hope this may help someone NOT make the same mistake. If you need to talk to someone in upper level management to discuss your issue, forget it...they want the position but no accountability.

My Whirlpool refrigerator is more than a year old but have been complaining forever it seems. The serial # is 21142009, model WRT777REYWOO. All bottom cords etc. is out and 3 times I had people come out to fix and it never changed. The lettuce drawers freeze and in the freezer leaves ice cream pretty soft. I am so upset about this, and cannot afford a different one, no matter what brand because I paid around $1,000 for it and I am low income (my ss), 73, and disabled. But Whirlpool refrigerators are not worth buying if this is the standard policy to ignore their responsibility here. It leaks water from freezer to meat compartment, and I could go on but seems hopeless. My sister in Oregon had the same one and they took hers out finally so she could apply that amount to a different brand which has no problems.

I love Whirpool products. They work well, even under hard water conditions. Ive had my Whirlpool washer/dryer for 12 years now without one single problem. Even with the hard water problem in my house, the clothes still come out clean, the dryer works well, I do clean my vent each and every time after each dry. I also have to clean the area where I put my detergent in due to the hard water and the machines are still working great.

Purchased a Whirlpool French door in April 2020 during the pandemic for 2K. The first week of owning it my fresh vegetables froze. I lowered the factory set temperature by one degree. The next week the ice maker stopped making ice. 3 days later it started up again. The 3rd week my freezer food defrosted and the ice maker stopped making ice. Called Whirlpool And requested a refund. They said, No we will send a tech. The tech determined the control board was defective. I had to empty the entire fridge and turn it off, defrost it for 24 hours. The headache to find someone to take your food! The part took 2 weeks to get replaced.The tech said, If this doesn’t work we will have to come back and take the back off to see what the issue is. Told to defrost again for 24 hrs. The ice was so thick we did it for 48 Hrs. 1 week later ice started to form in the freezer and the ice stopped working again. Called whirlpool demanded a refund and they said no. A tech will come again. I’ve relocated my food 3x already. How many more times can I do that! Whirlpool is not concerned about their reputation at all, as I read through other reviews of situations similar to mine. Do not buy whirlpool!

Cabrio Washer WTW6600SW1 - We purchased this washing machine back in January of 2007 and have had nothing but issues with it. We thought Whirlpool was an upstanding brand and weve found out otherwise. They havent stood behind their product or the issues we have had along with all the other people. There has been a Facebook page about the Famous F1 error code. We have had numerous other error codes we have had to pay to have someone come out to fix. We paid almost $700 for this machine and have had to pay out several hundred more dollars just in repairs. Not worth the money and the company doesnt deserve to be in business if they dont back their product. I get buying a warranty, but if they are same problem with so many machines, it sounds like a manufacturing defect to me.

Brand new Whirlpool dishwasher from PC Richards. Model #WDT710PAYB2. Dont buy one of these! In the store, I was turned off by the panel being on top of the door and not visible when the door is closed. I dont understand why anyone would not want to see the cycles and operation but my husband insisted that was a good thing so I agreed to purchase. Well, its horrible! I pressed the panel buttons the first time I tried to use it, and the panel switch is erratic and all over the place. For example, if I press Normal, the Heavy cycle button light goes on. When I hit start, all the button lights shut off. I finally get all the lights to stay on and hit start (after about 10 tries) and when I shut the door, the start button blinks and beeps! The dishwasher does not start. After many attempts, I got it to run, miraculously, for about 10 minutes. It emptied the detergent dispenser and left everything inside wet and slimy. Nice. I cant believe Whirlpool would sell such an inferior product. I have always been a loyal Whirlpool customer, but after this experience, I think its time to switch appliance brands. Now I have to be inconvenienced without a dishwasher after spending over $500 and wait for a repairman. Thanks, Whirlpool!

Worst purchase I have ever made. When I purchased this Cabrio washer in 2015, I didnt find bad reviews but how I wish I had. This washer does not clean clothes well. It has caused holes in clothing and towels. Often all the load wont even be damp even if using the deep water feature. The wash loads rarely fill more than couple of inches. Clothes come out twisted and terribly wrinkled. Sheets and blankets will be half dry and unclean. TERRIBLE APPLIANCE. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. Now I am stuck with a high priced washer I wouldnt even feel good about giving away. WONT FILL. RUINS CLOTHES. TANGLES LOADS. DOESNT CLEAN. DOESNT RINSE PROPERLY. DO NOT BUY!

Not even 3 years ago I purchased the very large capacity (5.0 I believe) Cabrio Whirlpool Washer and Dryer top loader set for my family. I have regretted the purchase since the first week. The washer would CONSTANTLY beep during a wash cycle, stopping the process saying it was unlevel. We made every attempt to make sure the load was even all around the basin and that the machine itself was level itself. No matter what we did, it would need to be restarted numerous times during one wash cycle taking sometimes hours to do one load. VERY FRUSTRATING. Now the washer will turn on, but it will not fill with water or start the cycle at all.The dryer has cost us hundreds of dollars in repairs, bringing the repair man to our house on a weekly basis for a while. Every time needing a new part. I have made a complaint on the Whirlpool USA Facebook page letting them know my absolute frustration as a substantial amount of other people have, and every one of the other complaints receives a comment back but mine. Although their complaint got a generic response such as, Im so sorry for your frustration, please email to the address below and we can look into your issue.I called customer service a few times to see if they could help in anyway...even asked if they could supply the parts if I paid for labor, and the answer was a flat NO. Nothing...I paid just about $2500 for this set and about $400 in repairs, and no help and no apology for selling me appliances that have not lasted even a small percentage of my last set that lasted throughout my teenage years into my 30’s. I am severely disappointed and ready to take action more now for the disrespect I feel as a consumer. I do not recommend Whirlpool Appliances AT ALL any longer...as they used to be a household item in every family member’s home. Now my large number of family and friends all know my frustration and will not purchase Whirlpool. I suggest this company do something to redeem themselves, because this is just ridiculous. The unit had all the features that we wanted and considered essential. The unit only weak issues is temperature(s) in both sections. The freezer is very poor with ice build up on the food stored for more than a couple of days. The manufacturer has been very weak in support as to how to solve this problem.

I feel as though they could use some additional features, it’s also hard to change out some of the wiring in the back. I’ve had some issues with smells coming from the washers as well from them. Hopefully they can start to look into tweaking smaller details to improve the overall machine.

When renovating my kitchen I went with all Whirlpool appliance. I have nothing but trouble with my fridge. About a year old we had to replace the motherboard at our expense. After having that done, about 6 months later I had to defrost it so it would work again. Now it has to be done every month. All they say we can book another service call at my expense again. All I say thank goodness I kept my old Frigidaire. It saved me more than once. So my advice is stay away from Whirlpool. They dont stand behind their products from my experience.

I bought an adapter that I added to the kitchen pipe, drilled a few holes in my cabinets to route the hose and voila! It is small but big enough so it's perfect for me. I didn't realize it had an internal heater so I was moving the hose between hot & cold under the sink but now that I know. I will try the heater. The settings are complicated so you have to read the instructions fully. Before I read them I thought every load took 2-3 hours but they don't. I do like to use the heavy soil setting and that does take a couple hours, but if I'm in a hurry or the load is not that bad I use a shorter 50 min setting. For the drain hose I either put it out the window or put a screen in the sink & tie it to the faucet. You have to tie it down wherever you aim it because the water comes out with enough force to throw the hose. I had a couple incidents of kitchen flood before this stuck in my head, now that sucker is secured well. I intend to make a permanent drain to the pipe eventually but for now I just use window/ sink. This required a longer drain hose. For apartment use, I am very happy.

I just finished a call with Sears Repair. I informed them that this was the 5th service call since purchasing this Whirlpool Cabrio washer two years ago. The washer simply does not work. It fails to complete its cycle; fails to spin; fails to drain; fails to fill; leaves clothes streaked and dirty, smelly, and dripping wet for me to wring out by hand. I purchased it because of my faith in Sears and its Energy Saver label. I often have to wash the same load 2 or even 3 times to get it clean; no more than 6 towels at a time. (It is a large capacity washer, but acts up most often when washing towels or jeans.)Im a retired teacher; and in my best teacher voice – calm but serious – said that I would like Sears to come and take it away, issue me a credit or refund, or I would proceed to file with the Small Claims Court. His immediate response was, I dont appreciate the threat. I carefully (teacher voice) explained that it was not a threat... it was information. Yes, Im angry. But more than that, I am so disappointed in Sears, a company that I have always been loyal to – no more. Time to leave childhood behind and wake up to the reality that this is not the same Sears Ive dealt with for the last sixty years. Now, I’m to drive 25 miles of country roads to a Laundromat.

Ice maker has stopped making ice on several occasions. Also when you try to get ice out of the door dispenser, it will continues to release ice but will not go down the chute and when you open refrigerator door it spills out all over the place. Getting ice other than from the door is no easy task. I have taken to putting a bowl under the ice dispenser. Interior of refrigerator is not user friendly for positioning items. Bought in a hurry back in 2017 and have regretted it ever since.

This set of washer and dryer are very simplistic and have few options. They came with the house I just purchased and I think they may be 10 or 12 years old. I cant wait to buy a new set... Very soon!!

I have had my water heater for 5 years and the repair is going to be close to $300.00! Whirlpool offered to send me the part and if I want hot water tomorrow I can pay $30.00 for shipping! $10.00 for standard ground! My other water heater was builder grade and lasted 12 years! Go figure.

Very durable. Not pretty but will last a long time. The dishwasher will run forever. The appearance is bland so the product is nothing fancy. It gets the job done. The machine is very quiet. I think this feature is the best one.

This unit has been in operation for over 40 years. It recently developed a freon leak. Rather than repair this unit that uses out of date freon I am going to replace the unit. I have had to replace the contactor twice and had to service the condenser fan once. All in all I think I got my money's worth.

My husband and I, purchased this washer on November last year, I used twice before and I noticed that the clothes felt hot, but the cycle was COLD water. Now use it again until June 2015. In every cycle the clothes were hot, I started calling to get an appointment in June at the 1800-253-1301, but the system was down twice. Then in July then again the system was down, then August 10, system was down. I did not wait more and called back the next day, August 11, got appointment for the 20. A technician came, he told me that the hoses was switched, but I know the hoses was installed correctly, my husband was here at the installation. He knows the proper installation of the washers.

These are the worst washer and dryer I have had. I had them for 5 yr and have had repairman at my home 14 times. They still are not fixed. The dryer is so loud you cant hear the TV. Washer squeaks, gets off balance.

This is a portable I purchased from an extended family member. She got it new from Sears a couple yrs ago. I do not have a built in dishwasher and needed one to help when others were here. It works great.

Owned it for approximately 15 years and has never had any problems with it all. I would highly recommend this product because it is affordable and easy to care for. It even comes with a filter for water. Great refrigerator.

I have had to replace the thermostat 3 times. Worst fridge I have ever owned. Lost lots of food and time and money that I will never get back. I will never ever buy another Whirlpool product again. Aint got time for that.

Have had no problems and we have both washer and dryer Duet and love them. We need to make sure we keep the washer door slightly open to avoid mold. The dryer lint filter is a little difficult to vacuum out.

I purchased this washer (Whirlpool Cabrio Model #WTW8000DW) 10-25-17 from Best Buy & now it has no power to the panel at all. The power to the outlet is fine which I can plug a hair dryer in & the hair dryer works. Tried all the reset buttons & options with nothing on the panel working as well as unplugging. Still nothing. It is barely 4 months old & I am very dissatisfied for the amount of money I paid for a high efficiency top loading washer.

Bought a Whirlpool Cabrio washer from Home Depot. It started making noises on the spin cycle 2 months after the purchase. A technician came out and concluded it was a clothes hanger behind the machine making the noise. False. Two days later I tried to wash a load. All the panel lights came on. And then the machine died. No power. The tech came out and tried to run tests but the machine would not respond correctly. Informed it has a bad control. The machine will malfunction even if a button is pressed too long. And then its repairman time again. This machine is poorly designed. No doubt whoever designed the digital control panel did not think about ease of use. The tech has to recalibrate the controls after every failure. Whirlpool and Maytag have put out a bad product and this will be my last.

In 2/2007, I purchased a Whirlpool Duet Front Load Washer (GHW9400PW) and have had constant F06 failures. After the repairman debrided the pump, he felt the issue might be electrical, if not resolved, it will fail again. Now, it needs a $400 to $500 electrical system and cannot be guaranteed that will end failures as these washers have had many problems. It cost $1000 and only lasted 4 years before the failures appeared. Whirlpool only offers a one-year warranty, which is not enough to cover the future problems these machines are prone to developing.

Purchased a Whirlpool WRF990SLAM fridge in 2013. Ice maker went out and the evaporator. Service tech said he needed permission from Whirlpool to work on. Would definitely not recommend purchasing this brand.

The refrigerator is about 2 years old. Has worked great. Stainless steel finish looks great. Was a good price at Lowes, with free delivery and removal of old refrigerator. I bought a simple model. Did not need a water connection.
